<v Speaker 1>The incarnation of Domination.
<v Speaker 2>What up, dude?
<v Speaker 1>What up? What up?
<v Speaker 2>Dude?
<v Speaker 1>Mark?
<v Speaker 3>Let me hear yours come ready ready? I don't think
<v Speaker 3>I've ever tried this?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you ever said one?
<v Speaker 2>What up?
<v Speaker 3>Dude? Any good?
<v Speaker 2>You ever go up to Mark Henry w what up?
<v Speaker 1>I wonder if you would even like even like bad
<v Speaker 1>than I. I don't know if he'd even like read what.
<v Speaker 3>I've had our long conversations with Mark Anny I still
<v Speaker 3>I don't think he knows who I am?
<v Speaker 2>So well, probably not long one to a very special
<v Speaker 2>two part incarnation of Domination. Who are we covering?
<v Speaker 1>What up? Dude?
<v Speaker 2>The Undertaker going into the WW Hall of Fame this year.
<v Speaker 2>We feel like it's extremely timely. People ask all the
<v Speaker 2>time to do the Undertaker on our weekly show, Guys, Okay,
<v Speaker 2>this is one.
<v Speaker 1>Of those ones that's like, come.
<v Speaker 3>On, dude, Actually, I was gonna say, all right, every week,
<v Speaker 3>there's a lot of people to ask the same thing.
<v Speaker 3>There's one guy that asks Mick Foley brown pants every week.
<v Speaker 3>He says, Mick Foley brown pants.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, but that's like man.
<v Speaker 2>But anyway, certain versions of Taker, someone has broken it
<v Speaker 2>down before once or twice.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, so you could get through an American badass seg
<v Speaker 1>in a timely manner for a regular podcast.
<v Speaker 3>There's somebody that asks for Chris Jericho a lot of times.
<v Speaker 1>That's an epic task.
<v Speaker 3>That being said, not many people ask for the Undertaker
<v Speaker 3>because I think they know it's insane figuress like.
<v Speaker 2>So we're doing Undertaker two parter. If you're listening as
<v Speaker 2>an elite member, you're hearing this, you must be hard
<v Speaker 2>or ultimate to hear part two. So uh, a little
<v Speaker 2>marketing play there, but it has to be two pars
<v Speaker 2>and instead of splitting it in month one, month two,
<v Speaker 2>we're doing all the same time sitting here so it's fresh,
<v Speaker 2>so we know what we covered. I really need to
<v Speaker 2>shout out figure Collections, that is what we're using. Un listen,
<v Speaker 2>I use for your collections to buy things. I've never
<v Speaker 2>really looked at their database before. I'm blown away.
<v Speaker 1>Didn't even know this existed.
<v Speaker 2>I Titan Undertaker. Now I haven't looked through everything. Right,
<v Speaker 2>there are seventeen pages at least. Oh man, I undertake
<v Speaker 2>your figures, but it appears to be in order of release.
<v Speaker 3>Was insane.
<v Speaker 2>We're not going to cover every single Undertaker. We're gonna
<v Speaker 2>do the hits and the misses, but not every single
<v Speaker 2>figure will be your all fucking day.
<v Speaker 1>It would just be would it would be like going
<v Speaker 1>to college, like the amount of effort and research and
<v Speaker 1>you know what I mean, like to make it as
<v Speaker 1>perfect as we can be. What are you guys? Did
<v Speaker 1>you guys watch uh Survivor series nineteen ninety when he
<v Speaker 1>debuted live?
<v Speaker 2>I can't recall watching it live live. Obviously I saw
<v Speaker 2>it in my young age to whether it be from
<v Speaker 2>somebody's VHS or renting it, so I know the match,
<v Speaker 2>but I don't think I watched it live live, did you?
<v Speaker 1>So? I always tell people Restming six is like my
<v Speaker 1>first wrestling memory, but I didn't watch wrest Many six live.
<v Speaker 1>Rest May six I rented and like it got me
<v Speaker 1>into wrestling. But the first time that I remember like
<v Speaker 1>carrying about wrestling like currently was Survivorsorris nineteen ninety and
<v Speaker 1>I remember that, you know, I was just talking about
<v Speaker 1>this this week. It was somebody, I think because Hector
<v Speaker 1>Guerrero was that the signing we just did he So
<v Speaker 1>there's but that Survivors Series ninety, which is funny because
<v Speaker 1>like in wrestling, the surprise, you know, like the mystery Bats,
<v Speaker 1>Like that's never not gonna be a thing, you know
<v Speaker 1>what I mean when people eat that up like to
<v Speaker 1>this day, like that's just always gonna be great. So
<v Speaker 1>I remember being like, what's in that egg? And who's
<v Speaker 1>Debias's mystery man? And I was so young, I was
<v Speaker 1>only five that my brother went to like a friend's
<v Speaker 1>house to watch it, but I wasn't allowed to go
<v Speaker 1>and I had to like go to bed, but he
<v Speaker 1>like illegally like video recorded it with a VHS brought
<v Speaker 1>home for me. So when I woke up that morning,
<v Speaker 1>I had it and I got to watch What a Brother?
<v Speaker 1>So that's like my so like in a sense that
<v Speaker 1>way the Undertaker like in the introduction, And I remember
<v Speaker 1>also being I'm five shoot, terrified of the Undertaker when
<v Speaker 1>he came out, like what is this guy? This crazy?
<v Speaker 1>And then actually the other thing. And I brought this
<v Speaker 1>up this week week and it has nothing to do
<v Speaker 1>with what we're talking about, but I remember being, even
<v Speaker 1>at five, very disappointed in the gold.
<v Speaker 3>I still want a Goblegoker figure.
<v Speaker 1>Which really says something about how bad that was. Me
<v Speaker 1>and Geena and this guy in a Turkey custom just
<v Speaker 1>dance for eight minutes. That's the big surprise.
<v Speaker 2>So around this time period.
<v Speaker 3>Well, hold on a second. I was there, and I've
<v Speaker 3>mentioned this on the show. I went to Survivor series
<v Speaker 3>ninete nine. He was my first wrestling show.
<v Speaker 2>What were you fifteen?
<v Speaker 3>I was seven years old. Steve Negron was.
<v Speaker 1>There, smoke a pack of Marbros. Outside.
<v Speaker 3>I was not with Steve Negron. He tells the story
<v Speaker 3>that he had to leave over the Undertaker.
<v Speaker 2>By time he was scared of the underda Oh my god.
<v Speaker 3>Really yeah. His dad tells the story that he cried
<v Speaker 3>and they had to take him out that I don't
<v Speaker 3>know if they went back in after.
<v Speaker 1>But what are your memories of it? Like you have
<v Speaker 1>anything that likes very little?
<v Speaker 3>I wasn't like the I wasn't like a diehard wrestling
<v Speaker 3>fan at the time. I just liked it and watched
<v Speaker 3>it when I could.
<v Speaker 1>You had to be like, what six or seven?
<v Speaker 3>It's pretty sure it was like my dad and my
<v Speaker 3>uncle got me the tickets. I think my dad and
<v Speaker 3>my uncle brought me. I think they just go to
<v Speaker 3>drink some beers. I was seven years old.
<v Speaker 2>I don't remember much legit. Thanksgiving night too, Yeah, that's
<v Speaker 2>crazy too.
<v Speaker 1>If you think about that, right.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I mean that was like my first wrestling memory,
<v Speaker 3>but I don't have much of a memory. I think
<v Speaker 3>it was just like, hey, let's go to a baseball game,
<v Speaker 3>all right, that kind of thing.
<v Speaker 1>Thanksgiving, that's the part. That's why I thought maybe would
<v Speaker 1>make a little bit of a difference.
<v Speaker 3>But I also think that there was never any big
<v Speaker 3>events near us.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah per se, yes, sure.
<v Speaker 3>I'm western Massachusetts, so to go to Hartford it was
<v Speaker 3>like an easy trip. So I think everyone was excited
<v Speaker 3>about it.
<v Speaker 1>Does anyone have any recollection of me and Mark?
<v Speaker 2>So I was just around this time period. I was
<v Speaker 2>watching w CW. So when Razormone comes in, I mean
<v Speaker 2>it's a year or two later, I'm like, oh, it's
<v Speaker 2>Diamond stud.
<v Speaker 1>Right, Really I didn't.
<v Speaker 2>When Rick Flair comes, I'm like, oh, it's Rick Flair.
<v Speaker 1>Rick Flair.
<v Speaker 2>I knew because of the Globe and watch I watched,
<v Speaker 2>but I had no I wasn't like, oh that's me
<v Speaker 2>and Mark.
<v Speaker 1>No, not me at all. That's why I was like rified.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and listen, I mean there's a reason why the
<v Speaker 2>gimmick stood the test of time, and he's going to
<v Speaker 2>be in the Hall of fame, uh, because it was
<v Speaker 2>a great gimmick in an era where it could have
<v Speaker 2>been horrible. It could have been a goon, it could
<v Speaker 2>have been a duke. The dumpson drugs. I mean, he's
<v Speaker 2>a dead man called the Undertake eventually has a Pallbear
<v Speaker 2>and a Paul Bear. I mean, when you think about
<v Speaker 2>it like that, it is the most gimmicky thing ever.
<v Speaker 1>But there's the it because one, he's an athlete, you know,
<v Speaker 1>former basketball player, whatever. A lot of things, especially as
<v Speaker 1>time went on, you saw like that he could do
<v Speaker 1>the big men.
<v Speaker 2>He likes m as.
<v Speaker 1>Well, we're not yeah, big guys back then, we're not
<v Speaker 1>doing But then this is another thing, and this is
<v Speaker 1>like a testament to WWAWF. They never gave up on it,
<v Speaker 1>where a lot of things they just you know, give
<v Speaker 1>up so quickly. Like you said, if they gave up
<v Speaker 1>on it, you know, this potentially kind of silly gimmick,
<v Speaker 1>it made it. It was he was never put in
<v Speaker 1>a position to look foolish, right, So they committed, They
<v Speaker 1>committed and never gave up on this thing, and that
<v Speaker 1>literally has stood the test of time and made this
<v Speaker 1>epic persona you know.
<v Speaker 2>Even you know, nineteen ninety four Royal Rumble where he
<v Speaker 2>you know, rises to heaven. Like as ridiculous it is,
<v Speaker 2>it was believable even in the two thousands when he's
<v Speaker 2>doing the ridiculous things believable. So they stuck to it,
<v Speaker 2>and we as fans believed it because we wanted to believe.
<v Speaker 2>I saw this great video with a quote from Bobby
<v Speaker 2>Heenan that said, like we as in the wrestlers, never
<v Speaker 2>said wrestling was real. You guys told us it was fake,
<v Speaker 2>you know what I'm saying. And I loved them, Like
<v Speaker 2>that's genius. Like if you just believe in this, there
<v Speaker 2>is no I was thinking about this today. There's nothing
<v Speaker 2>better than pro wrestling as a form of entertainment because
<v Speaker 2>what other you know, fandom out there, What other thing
<v Speaker 2>in pop culture has this canon as long as wrestling.
<v Speaker 2>You could say Star Wars for what. There's a handful
<v Speaker 2>of movies. Yes, there's comics. I'm talking weekly episodic television
<v Speaker 2>with pay per views with multiple shows a week where.
<v Speaker 1>That others too, the companies of.
<v Speaker 2>Course exactly that you can go to and something nuts at.
<v Speaker 1>As popular as it is, there's nothing to compare it to.
<v Speaker 2>Like you have Batman you have your let's says, it's
<v Speaker 2>you have your Batman figures. You can't go see fucking Batman. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>you can go see the Undertaker. You know, it's unbelievable.
<v Speaker 3>And even if you did go see Batman, you can't
<v Speaker 3>stand up and cheer in his face.
<v Speaker 1>That's why it's like the show with rock and Roll
<v Speaker 1>and touring live of it. You know, it's it's all that.
<v Speaker 2>And then and like, for instance, Ninja Turtles. If you
<v Speaker 2>saw a Ninja turtle, like at the fucking uh what
<v Speaker 2>was that concert called the Hills Concert.
<v Speaker 1>That you guys bought the next Turtles in time?
<v Speaker 2>No? No, what's it called h Coming of Our Shells Tour?
<v Speaker 2>Like you're telling, Okay, those aren't quite the Turtles from
<v Speaker 2>the movie, you know what I'm saying. Like you could
<v Speaker 2>tell like when you go to Disney World, you're like, Okay,
<v Speaker 2>that's not It's like, that's not Aladdin. It's a lot
<v Speaker 2>that's not aladd It's like Ultimate Ultimate War and the
<v Speaker 2>Renegade right right, But here you're seeing the fucking Undertaker.
<v Speaker 2>You've seen Hogan, So there's nothing like for wrestling, and
<v Speaker 2>that's why such a ridiculous gimmick work is because the commitment,
<v Speaker 2>all those those the funeral Parlors segments. But man, what
<v Speaker 2>a what a weird pairing with him and brother in
<v Speaker 2>love in the beginning.
<v Speaker 1>Oh for sure, Yeah, that made no sense. I think
<v Speaker 1>Paul Barrow was the like the rocket ship. Oh for
<v Speaker 1>sure too. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, and when you think about it, I mean
<v Speaker 2>he debuts ninety he wins the fucking belt at ninety one, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>which is nuts.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, for sure at that time, especially.
<v Speaker 2>In poor Holgan with that neck age.
<v Speaker 1>We after that tomb stop, so they missed by foot.
<v Speaker 3>Guess generally back in the day, though, big guys, would
<v Speaker 3>you build them up for a year, they win the title,
<v Speaker 3>they lose, they leave.
<v Speaker 2>So the longevity here with Undertakers incredible.
<v Speaker 3>Right, It's sort of insane that he was able to
<v Speaker 3>rebound after that.
<v Speaker 1>Well, someone that I watched debut on TV when I
<v Speaker 1>was five years old. I wound up wrestling in two
<v Speaker 1>thousand and eight, and he just physically stopped wrestling, what
<v Speaker 1>two years ago.
<v Speaker 3>That's insane.
<v Speaker 1>That's insane.
<v Speaker 2>It's really lot.
<v Speaker 3>He was probably was he was wrestling when you were born?
<v Speaker 1>Oh, probably, like right, yeah, when I started training at
<v Speaker 1>least Yeah, Yeah, eighty six eighty seven.
<v Speaker 2>I had a guess yeah, wow, all right, talk about toyatic.
<v Speaker 2>What's more toyatic than a dead man?
<v Speaker 1>That too? Right? So well above average and size too.
<v Speaker 1>There's a lot to it, you know, the red hair,
<v Speaker 1>the red the costuming over the years gets gets really toyatic, right, same, yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So let's uh, let's go to figure collections and that's
<v Speaker 2>where I'm gonna use.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we don't need it, we don't need it
<v Speaker 1>to pinpoint the rookie figure.
<v Speaker 2>Of course. It's the first ever has Bro Series four.
<v Speaker 2>I remember exactly where I was when I got this.
<v Speaker 2>I have this, I have a same I have walk
<v Speaker 2>into Toys r US. Now I'm a kid. Obviously there's
<v Speaker 2>no internet. If this is in some sort of catalog
<v Speaker 2>or ad, I have not seen it yet. So I'm
<v Speaker 2>walking to the toy aisle and there's a shipping by
<v Speaker 2>on the floor. It's opened. The box is open, but
<v Speaker 2>it's you know, the figures are in it. Look what
<v Speaker 2>is this? I pull out Undertaker, Brett Hart, Bulldog, Ricky
<v Speaker 2>Steamboat and like, I can remember that memory so vividly,
<v Speaker 2>but I can't remember, like what I had for breakfast
<v Speaker 2>this morning?
<v Speaker 1>You know, it makes an impressure on you man.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean there's nothing like walking into a toy
<v Speaker 2>store and finding figures that you don't know are coming out.
<v Speaker 2>And that will never ever be duplicated maybe by a kid,
<v Speaker 2>but not for someone like us because we a we
<v Speaker 2>have this podcast. You know, there's there's comic Con access,
<v Speaker 2>you know, the aw fan fests, so those times will
<v Speaker 2>never be duplicated for us.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. I remember going to a kiddie city and then
<v Speaker 1>this set must have just dropped and know the same thing.
<v Speaker 1>You don't know who's in it, what's going on, nothing,
<v Speaker 1>And it was like Rose and Rose and Rose of
<v Speaker 1>those four and I was having a mini panic attack basically.
<v Speaker 2>And what's so weird is because as a kid, I
<v Speaker 2>didn't really quite put two two together. Is because on
<v Speaker 2>the back of the box, it's all kind of like
<v Speaker 2>a mishmash. It's not like they just show those four.
<v Speaker 1>Which I think we've discussed this, like we I think
<v Speaker 1>some of them were shipping like always.
<v Speaker 2>I yeah, it just will never find out for sure.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know the truth.
<v Speaker 2>I know in fact those four did ship together, yecause
<v Speaker 2>some people count Big boss Man two in that set.
<v Speaker 2>I do not.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that gets a real confusing and I never got
<v Speaker 1>a straight answer as to that either.
<v Speaker 2>Right, but the figure is incredible. Uh, it's got the
<v Speaker 2>big clothes line action. He's at the first clothes line?
<v Speaker 1>Is he.
<v Speaker 2>King?
<v Speaker 1>Is Jake's punch? Macho King is a kind of is
<v Speaker 1>that kind of more?
<v Speaker 2>Eh?
<v Speaker 1>I guess it has the crook, so it's a clothes
<v Speaker 1>line or a punch, depending on what.
<v Speaker 2>You don't think there's a clothes line on Macho King.
<v Speaker 1>But the crook is on both of them, so it
<v Speaker 1>could be a taker. Could be a punch.
<v Speaker 3>Too, I guess in theory, but I always a considered
<v Speaker 3>that as a clothesline. If Jake is the punch, this
<v Speaker 3>is the clothesline.
<v Speaker 1>Right, Okay, I see it right?
<v Speaker 2>Because fair enough he has the hat which is not removable,
<v Speaker 2>which I love. Cowboy as a child.
<v Speaker 1>Didn't appreciate that, but now I like it's nostalgic and
<v Speaker 1>I think it's cool.
<v Speaker 3>But hey, I remember distinctly using the Bendom over the
<v Speaker 3>Hated Undertaker.
<v Speaker 1>The worst is when you get older and you you
<v Speaker 1>know Internet, you know stuff is unfolding and you see
<v Speaker 1>people that remove the hat and realize that like a square.
<v Speaker 2>Had it destroys the figure when you do that. So
<v Speaker 2>that's a really bad idea. One thing that kind of
<v Speaker 2>stood out to me and I didn't really notice as
<v Speaker 2>a kid. It's like, okay, you keep the hat on,
<v Speaker 2>why not tie.
<v Speaker 3>H?
<v Speaker 1>This is a ron Rudat question, right.
<v Speaker 2>Well, another rond Rude question is what happened to that
<v Speaker 2>earn because we do know that's why the hand, the
<v Speaker 2>hand is open. It's a you can call it choke
<v Speaker 2>slam hand. Very convenient for choke slam. But that's not
<v Speaker 2>what its intent was. It was going to hold the urn.
<v Speaker 2>The urn was going to come out there sketches of
<v Speaker 2>the urn. I would have made it way cooler, but
<v Speaker 2>it didn't.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it didn't take away for the figure. Now
<v Speaker 1>looking back on it, it does, but not then because we
<v Speaker 1>didn't know. Yes, but man, that would be a very
<v Speaker 1>different release with that urn. I think because because people
<v Speaker 1>have to understand, like at least younger listeners, accessories were
<v Speaker 1>few and far between at this time, Like that was
<v Speaker 1>like nuts to get Jake Snake, you know, Brutus's scissors.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, you know.
<v Speaker 2>So so now that I'm looking at figure collections, something
<v Speaker 2>just popped up to me, and it's like, I don't
<v Speaker 2>know if it's a today years old situation or which
<v Speaker 2>one comes first. Situation.
<v Speaker 1>I know what you're going to say, because I had
<v Speaker 1>the same thought.
<v Speaker 2>I think it goes the mail Away first, and it
<v Speaker 2>says that year is nineteen eighty three, with the series
<v Speaker 2>eight being nineteen eighty four. Now, I was a casual
<v Speaker 2>reader of the magazines, like my parents wouldn't buy mail
<v Speaker 2>the magazines, so I don't recall. Of course, now we
<v Speaker 2>all know the infamous mail Away ad and I don't
<v Speaker 2>recall seeing it in magazines.
<v Speaker 1>I do you do?
<v Speaker 2>Yes, So you gotta figure that comes, or at least
<v Speaker 2>that image comes before we have series eight. It has
<v Speaker 2>to Ricus Hogan's go.
<v Speaker 1>This is correct. Then I think what you're saying is correct,
<v Speaker 1>Like maybe the magazine ad is seen before the figures
<v Speaker 1>are in people's hands.
<v Speaker 2>But even so, that's that's like a today year's old
<v Speaker 2>situation for me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. In my mind though, I think Series eight's outwagh
<v Speaker 1>before the Mailaws. But I'm not sure because I never
<v Speaker 1>had mail Aways as a kid or whatever.
<v Speaker 2>You know, yeh see, I don't. I don't quite know,
<v Speaker 2>because also we gotta find out. This is a de
<v Speaker 2>freedom question if you can find out the dates, because
<v Speaker 2>that would make me believe, Like, why is the Bread
<v Speaker 2>and Undertaker so rare? Because we always thought, oh, it's
<v Speaker 2>because so many people ordered the Hog because it's so different.
<v Speaker 2>But in theory, the Bread would have been so different
<v Speaker 2>because it was a different outfit and Taker without a
<v Speaker 2>guydamn jacket, which would have been so different.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so that's why. That's another reason why I think
<v Speaker 1>it's not true. I don't know. But then the photos
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, the like what the product was and
<v Speaker 1>what those photos are in that ad is like criminally different.
<v Speaker 2>So no, Taker's pretty much dead on. It's the bread
<v Speaker 2>that's different.
<v Speaker 1>Breat's crazy different.
<v Speaker 2>But I want to look up this ad right now
<v Speaker 2>because now I'm going to look up this ad before
<v Speaker 2>I get ahead of mine. Is this the add in
<v Speaker 2>like multiple magazines? I don't know. I'm going to look
<v Speaker 2>it up. Hasbro mail away.
<v Speaker 3>And highly covered in the history of Hasbro video on
<v Speaker 3>our YouTube. We even show the pictures.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, so this does maybe explain some things. Has Hogan
<v Speaker 2>in the Red obviously, it has Brett in the New Year, right,
<v Speaker 2>but the Undertaker doesn't have a jacket, it just has
<v Speaker 2>darker hair. Really, no, we do jacket, no jacket in
<v Speaker 2>the photo. Wow, it's great gift idea for the holidays.
<v Speaker 2>It has to be it has to be ninety three
<v Speaker 2>because Hogan's long got ninety four for the holidays. He's
<v Speaker 2>WW champion.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, there's no man, that's good. That's pretty detective work.
<v Speaker 2>This is great. I just have gooseboms right out there
<v Speaker 2>talking about this. This is wild that thirty years later
<v Speaker 2>we're figuring this shit out ship. Well really it's all
<v Speaker 2>in front of our eyes this whole time, but we're
<v Speaker 2>not there.
<v Speaker 1>No, it's a good detective work that you're right, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>because no way, Hogan's long gone. If that's just get
<v Speaker 1>this for the holidays.
<v Speaker 2>Right, Wow. So like, okay, I understand, Like I don't know,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what I'm saying now, because the Brett
<v Speaker 2>and the Taker are different enough then from the first one,
<v Speaker 2>even though the Taker doesn't have.
<v Speaker 1>To take fans are not going to realize that.
<v Speaker 2>But the brown hair, it's clearly bread. I'm supposed to red,
<v Speaker 2>not allowed to meat there, and the Bret's at a
<v Speaker 2>totally different out for different colored sunglasses.
<v Speaker 1>And then when you get like getting the mail and
<v Speaker 1>it's not what, are you just devastated?
<v Speaker 2>Probably? Yeah, at least take her out comes to the
<v Speaker 2>fucking jacket. I guess that is the one little that's
<v Speaker 2>a big. Oh is the price on there? I feel
<v Speaker 2>like it was pretty pricey for the error bro seven each.
<v Speaker 1>Oh damn, Okay, I'm wrong. Wow, not at all.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, that's the thing that check or money or oh
<v Speaker 2>my god man.
<v Speaker 3>People talk about going back in time Biff bets on sports,
<v Speaker 3>go back in time, buy yourself a thousand mail away breats.
<v Speaker 1>Really you just be chilling. Wow, there's a mail away
<v Speaker 1>Brett on eBay right now. It's in the bag, the
<v Speaker 1>first one in the long time. It's astronomical. Let me check.
<v Speaker 1>I watched these things. I don't really partake.
<v Speaker 2>Now I need to get I believe it's a take
<v Speaker 2>or anything in another one of because fuck? Or is
<v Speaker 2>it a breat were there? I think a fuck?
<v Speaker 1>There's a bread and like a damaged bag on eBay,
<v Speaker 1>like not the best bag, but it's still sealed five
<v Speaker 1>thousand dollars and.
<v Speaker 2>There's like eight five hundred by it now, So I
<v Speaker 2>think my undertaker is in a breat bag you've told
<v Speaker 2>you give you read the numbers, So I don't know
<v Speaker 2>if it's a breat and a taker, but I think
<v Speaker 2>it's a taker in a breath. How did you figure
<v Speaker 2>that out? Because there's numbers like clear, clear as day.
<v Speaker 1>And that's just been eating you up for years. It
<v Speaker 1>has been, Yes, but there's also no way to like,
<v Speaker 1>they're not plentiful to replace that or do it.
<v Speaker 2>Any and if it comes out, it's a lot of money. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>you still sell yours for a lot of money. I
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't sell it until I got of course.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Right, Okay, so then we get series eight. Now do
<v Speaker 2>you remember where you were when you got this? Did
<v Speaker 2>you know?
<v Speaker 1>I don't like I as a child, I didn't have
<v Speaker 1>the entire Hazarro collection, and I didn't always get a
<v Speaker 1>guy who was upgraded. And this is one of those
<v Speaker 1>calendar you got like I didn't like.
<v Speaker 3>I was the same way.
<v Speaker 1>This is also which is very timely for what's going
<v Speaker 1>on in my household right now, my Power Ranger era. Okay, okay,
<v Speaker 1>there's that. So like wrestling didn't take a backseat, but
<v Speaker 1>it was like equal. But then in fifth grade, I
<v Speaker 1>like cut some deal with this kid for a lot
<v Speaker 1>of hazbros for like twenty bucks. I want to say,
<v Speaker 1>I begged my mom for twenty bucks and I got
<v Speaker 1>like all the hazards I didn't have, like Yoko and
<v Speaker 1>this Taker and stuff. Yeah, I'll never forget it. And
<v Speaker 1>that's how I got it.
<v Speaker 2>So I was at a store, I forget what it
<v Speaker 2>was called. It's a toy store in the Sunrise mall,
<v Speaker 2>and I saw all of them for the first time.
<v Speaker 2>Never knew they were coming out. My dad let us
<v Speaker 2>get Yoko, Lex and Bam Bam because.
<v Speaker 1>They were new.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>See that's on a tough cell to appear, right, right.
<v Speaker 2>But then then I think like Valentine's Day or something
<v Speaker 2>was the next week, and we got missed a perfect
<v Speaker 2>Brett and Taker.
<v Speaker 1>Which were all great, all great.
<v Speaker 2>Well except for Brett, which is the reverse sunglasses.
<v Speaker 1>But that's okay, I'm just that yeah, but.
<v Speaker 2>Great addition to the Taker has the jacket and the
<v Speaker 2>darker hair. Now with the mail Away, you can tell
<v Speaker 2>it has like a slightly darker than the first one,
<v Speaker 2>but not as dark as the male Away.
<v Speaker 1>Which is very confusing. I mean, how often people like,
<v Speaker 1>is this the male away? I mean it's just like
<v Speaker 1>it's one of those wrestling figure questions.
<v Speaker 2>What's even more confusing is this past year I got
<v Speaker 2>some sort of pre production Taker which has dark hair
<v Speaker 2>and like stubble beard painted on, which is on the
<v Speaker 2>cover of I believe it's a UK toy Fair Catle magazine.
<v Speaker 2>But it's not one of one because a couple of
<v Speaker 2>them have popped up, so we don't know exactly what
<v Speaker 2>the fuck that is. You've kept that, I've kept it.
<v Speaker 2>If someone wants to buy it, it's for sale, I
<v Speaker 2>have it.
<v Speaker 1>Well, that ends the Hasbro error now.
<v Speaker 2>Yet, let's not forget the Hall of Fame series that
<v Speaker 2>was gonna come out where for years many.
<v Speaker 1>People throw you're throwing real curveball in here.
<v Speaker 2>Many people thought there's heads that popped up where it's
<v Speaker 2>an Undertaker with no hat. Many people even fucking the
<v Speaker 2>grading company who graded this. That's why I hate grading
<v Speaker 2>figures calls this an orange card head, which it is not.
<v Speaker 2>I prove this all wrong because Zombie Sailor was able
<v Speaker 2>to get the drawings of the Hall of Fame figures.
<v Speaker 2>These are I believe there are twelve inch style g
<v Speaker 2>I Joe styles that also have a similar name Hall
<v Speaker 2>of Fame. He has like a Barbie doll. So it
<v Speaker 2>would have been Hogan, Macho Man, and the Undertaker with
<v Speaker 2>like removable clothing. So I have the Hogan.
<v Speaker 1>Been so sought after right now and hard to get.
<v Speaker 1>I would have the Mother with kegs then yeah, probably yeah, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>a good fair, fair assessment. But it would have been Hogan,
<v Speaker 1>Macho Man, and the Undertaker, and I have that Undertaker head.
<v Speaker 1>But I would have Hey, listen, I would have loved
<v Speaker 1>an updated Taker, purple gloves, no hat or removable hat.
<v Speaker 2>I would have loved it.
<v Speaker 1>Which but this is the defuncing that he was never
<v Speaker 1>supposed to be in the Orange Cars when yes, I
<v Speaker 1>did think that for quite some time. Yeah yeah, purple
<v Speaker 1>purple gloves, no hat, Taker could have fit in pretty
<v Speaker 1>good in the Man I guess that we we got
<v Speaker 1>in the retro though, right.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, So then the next purple glove Bendam series too.
<v Speaker 2>We talked about this in the History of the Bendy's.
<v Speaker 1>It's his best Bendy by far, I mean, not even
<v Speaker 1>a competition.
<v Speaker 2>Best. You get the purple you get, you get three
<v Speaker 2>great things that you don't have with your hats. Bro Okay,
<v Speaker 2>you get purple, you get no hat, and you get
<v Speaker 2>the tie.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, so good.
<v Speaker 2>It's a good little upgrade. Instant top guy upgrade. Its
<v Speaker 2>the top Guy.
<v Speaker 3>By the way, if you ever want that Undertaker to
<v Speaker 3>wrestle smart Mark Sterling, you can do that if you
<v Speaker 3>go to major podmrch dot com.
<v Speaker 2>Get those beddies.
<v Speaker 1>Baby, Hey, they're going. They're almost gone. All right, big big,
<v Speaker 1>big swing here. I mean, this is like a dead era.
<v Speaker 1>But then we finally get Jacks to take the WWF
<v Speaker 1>license summer of ninety six. These things rocked my world.
<v Speaker 3>What a fig what a fix?
<v Speaker 2>Superstars Series one? Now, I tell you my did you
<v Speaker 2>know these were coming?
<v Speaker 1>So? I man, I don't know if I ever told
<v Speaker 1>this story, but I did like a bring your kid
<v Speaker 1>to work day with my dad, okay, this does And
<v Speaker 1>me and my brother were just like clowning around my
<v Speaker 1>dad's office. He works for a Verizon or you know,
<v Speaker 1>uh and uh or it might have even been like
<v Speaker 1>the Atlantic at the time. It's changed out the year
<v Speaker 1>or whatever, and we're just clowning around his office and
<v Speaker 1>like he has this thing called the Internet that we
<v Speaker 1>don't have at home or whatever, and like maybe my
<v Speaker 1>brother showed me how it works, and I remember we
<v Speaker 1>were on like maybe something like web Crawler and they
<v Speaker 1>could put in just like and I found a site
<v Speaker 1>and it wasn't Ringside Collectibles, but a site that sells
<v Speaker 1>wrestling figures, and these popped up for like pre order,
<v Speaker 1>like the pictures that are kind of on the back
<v Speaker 1>of the box. And I was like, like losing it
<v Speaker 1>because like there's no no product at the time, right,
<v Speaker 1>It's like, well, there's vendoms, that's it, I know, but
<v Speaker 1>like I'm a figure fan who loves wrestling, this is
<v Speaker 1>what I want. And then these also looked like so
<v Speaker 1>much better to me, like and they havelationsros and every
<v Speaker 1>Bendams of course, so like I was stoked. So then
<v Speaker 1>to finish the story, that's like spring summertime, and then
<v Speaker 1>my mom went on a trip to California because my
<v Speaker 1>parents actually lived out there for quite some time. That's
<v Speaker 1>when my brother was born and stuff, visiting friends they
<v Speaker 1>have out there, and then she came back from her
<v Speaker 1>trip with all of them and I was like, oh my,
<v Speaker 1>and then it was on. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So my story is I grew up pretty much cross
<v Speaker 2>Street from a comic book story called Lens comics and
<v Speaker 2>they they were actually in ww F magazine and they
<v Speaker 2>had that had shown me that these were coming out,
<v Speaker 2>but it was a black and white ad, so you
<v Speaker 2>can't it still looked great, like, oh my god, you
<v Speaker 2>could tell like the legs kind of moved. I was
<v Speaker 2>so pumped. And then my dad found I remember he
<v Speaker 2>found Seawan Michaels at the Freeport Toys r US and
<v Speaker 2>he only had enough money for once, so we hid
<v Speaker 2>the rest of them at US and then we went
<v Speaker 2>back and got the rest and I was so excited
<v Speaker 2>to get them until I got home, like, wait a minute,
<v Speaker 2>these are bigger than has Bros. Kind of like I
<v Speaker 2>was like, I just didn't realize that wrestling figure. I
<v Speaker 2>was so used to has brosen Olly, I like the
<v Speaker 2>opposite for me. I love that, but I didn't because
<v Speaker 2>the Bendoms we were because now you have the Gloobs, right,
<v Speaker 2>you have the Hazards, the Bendoms, they're all in the
<v Speaker 2>same universe. Now, these guys are way big ifs are faked,
<v Speaker 2>but with only six guys. And we talked about it
<v Speaker 2>many times before the first like Series one are fucking trash.
<v Speaker 2>They either have the wrong parts or they're falling apart,
<v Speaker 2>and I gave up. As a figure fan, I returned
<v Speaker 2>them all and as a as a kid in nineteen
<v Speaker 2>eighty six, I washed my hands of recipes and said, up,
<v Speaker 2>say at eleven, I thought I was done. Oh my god, wash.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know that, like, I had the complete opposite
<v Speaker 1>feeling about it at all. I was so pumped, dude,
<v Speaker 1>so excited to have brand new w figures bigger than ever.
<v Speaker 1>That move that I could throw a Shawn Michael's super kick,
<v Speaker 1>that Undertaker can do a chokes pick a guy up
<v Speaker 1>and put them down, like, oh my god.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, I I lose my mind, fell back
<v Speaker 2>into that trap because that Survivor series nineteen eighty six,
<v Speaker 2>I believe it's They definitely have Sean and Brett for sale,
<v Speaker 2>maybe Taker as well. And I was like, well, I
<v Speaker 2>can just tell it obviously Sean's and Red. And I
<v Speaker 2>asked the kid on the train home if I could
<v Speaker 2>look at the box, and I flipped the box. Oh
<v Speaker 2>my god, Vader, Ohwen, Ultimate Warrior. I need these all
<v Speaker 2>back for Christmas. I need them all back. And then
<v Speaker 2>I was back in and got them all for Christmas again,
<v Speaker 2>except for Razor and diesel, which took me years to find.
<v Speaker 3>Again, did you say, okay, a couple things here. Did
<v Speaker 3>you say that your dad returned them to the store.
<v Speaker 2>Them we were returning okay, you like taped them back
<v Speaker 2>to the bubble and said these good. No, no, no,
<v Speaker 2>we didn't return them like fig swap like these are broken,
<v Speaker 2>these are defective. We don't want them anymore. Whoa because
<v Speaker 2>they were such trash.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, two, this is a crazy thing that that you
<v Speaker 3>said that I that I is really nuts. Imagine a
<v Speaker 3>world where a grown ass man with a job is
<v Speaker 3>that a play and doesn't have enough money. Kids, kids,
<v Speaker 3>this is a time where you don't have a debit
<v Speaker 3>card that doesn't come for four more years. Yeah, you
<v Speaker 3>don't have just ATMs on every corner. Man. The man
<v Speaker 3>probably had seven bucks in his wallet and he could
<v Speaker 3>only get one. Sehn, Michaels.
<v Speaker 2>What a draft pick too? He takes that break, kid.
<v Speaker 3>It's just an insane thing to think.
<v Speaker 1>I love that undertaker figure too. Like like you said,
<v Speaker 1>first time you get take the hat off. It hat's
<v Speaker 1>an accessory. That's a big, big freaking deal. I guess
<v Speaker 1>look on the bendom and looking back on it, no tats,
<v Speaker 1>which is a little yes, weird because Bone Crunches eventually
<v Speaker 1>all had their tats when they had tats, so like,
<v Speaker 1>but I totally accepted it for what it was.
<v Speaker 3>So jax for me, Uh was this is gonna sound weird,
<v Speaker 3>but you know we had the Me and Steve had
<v Speaker 3>the double fed right when Bone Crunchers come out. I'm
<v Speaker 3>saying to myself, I'm going rogue. I'm buying my own promotion,
<v Speaker 3>started booking my own promotion in my own house. No Steve,
<v Speaker 3>this was the this was the separate promotion. So I
<v Speaker 3>was very excited, especially with the titles later on, you
<v Speaker 3>know like that actually.
<v Speaker 1>It basically becomes revolutionary. You know the things that would come.
<v Speaker 3>But this Taker is amazing.
<v Speaker 1>Brusk kind of alluded to it. So event we can
<v Speaker 1>very quickly get series two, which is three repaints and
<v Speaker 1>one will happens to be Taker, but he's glow in
<v Speaker 1>the dark.
<v Speaker 2>I'd loved it.
<v Speaker 1>As a kid. I think I barely played with this,
<v Speaker 1>and if I did, I would turn the lights out
<v Speaker 1>and do his entrance with that glow in the dark
<v Speaker 1>on the ring, and then that'd be it wouldn't work
<v Speaker 1>the match or anything sounds.
<v Speaker 2>He didn't quite look glow in the dark when the
<v Speaker 2>lights were on off, so it wasn't that bad.
<v Speaker 3>That's the only one I had.
<v Speaker 2>It's in the dark, it's not completely yellow, you know, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>but it serves its purposes. No, no, no, it's great.
<v Speaker 3>I was also colorblind, so looked fine to me.
<v Speaker 1>True.
<v Speaker 2>All right, Next up is and I know Brian had
<v Speaker 2>one of these, The Ring Masters Undertaker. Can we just
<v Speaker 2>bang out all these playmates? Okay, so there's a couple
<v Speaker 2>of things. There was.
<v Speaker 1>Actually, where's the other it is the it doesn't have
<v Speaker 1>a name, The statue doesn't have a.
<v Speaker 2>Name, the statue the Heroes of Wrestling here.
<v Speaker 1>Okay.
<v Speaker 2>So there's the Heroes of Wrestling statue where he's doing
<v Speaker 2>like the Undertaker pose. There's the mini thing called, uh
<v Speaker 2>the Ring Masters. I liked on a mini many many
<v Speaker 2>Rings stand. There's the grudge mass I really loved of
<v Speaker 2>him and man coind with this teeny ring display, the
<v Speaker 2>stretching figures, which is hot garbage. I'd never even got those,
<v Speaker 2>suretless I would.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, that's a shirtless nose tattoos, a generic belt,
<v Speaker 1>a generic belt that says Undertaker with a sticker, and there's.
<v Speaker 2>Also the talking fourteen one, but I did not have
<v Speaker 2>that as a kid. Okay, I've had.
<v Speaker 1>I was so all in like that basically from it's
<v Speaker 1>from Jack's on. I'm just all in unwrestling, like completest
<v Speaker 1>of everything www, like psychopath level collecting and everything. I
<v Speaker 1>had every single one of these Playmates products, whether I
<v Speaker 1>played with them or not. I just had to own
<v Speaker 1>them because I was a lunatic. The giant talking thing
<v Speaker 1>was cool. I always had that like as a display piece,
<v Speaker 1>kind of like the backdropped to a lot of the
<v Speaker 1>stuff I displayed in my room. The stretches, those just
<v Speaker 1>going to bin you never see him again. I did
<v Speaker 1>like the grudge match stuff and the head wringers and
<v Speaker 1>those a the ones that like when I found these
<v Speaker 1>in the shelves. There's also something that I remember like
<v Speaker 1>walking into the toys rust and just seeing them all
<v Speaker 1>be like what, Like, I didn't know this was going
<v Speaker 1>to be a thing, especially when Jackson is making the stuff.
<v Speaker 2>Well, you know, it makes more sense now that we
<v Speaker 2>know how the business works. Jax has like the masterline.
<v Speaker 2>That's why nothing Playmates is like a six inch figure.
<v Speaker 2>Yes exactly. Yeah, So I.
<v Speaker 1>Thought it was fun and like, like I said, I'm
<v Speaker 1>just so obsessed with w restling this time, Like this
<v Speaker 1>is just awesome to me. This's just more stuff, you
<v Speaker 1>know for sure? Then Savio Vegas only goddamn uh figure
<v Speaker 1>for a while, right, or as as Babyface have you
<v Speaker 1>his only figure.
<v Speaker 2>Ever is Babyface?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Well, then we get the second Undertaker bend in which
<v Speaker 2>is a little like head scratchy. He's a little skinny,
<v Speaker 2>which like weird bothers me to this day.
<v Speaker 1>I mean we discussed it in length on our It
<v Speaker 1>looks the dark, but he doesn't that, Like his skin
<v Speaker 1>is a very odd color. And then it's kind of
<v Speaker 1>puny when in this set is Led and Triple H
<v Speaker 1>and they're like bulked up, right, So it really makes
<v Speaker 1>no sense. But like I said, serious two Bendom Taker
<v Speaker 1>is the be all end or end all Taker Bendom,
<v Speaker 1>like the others are actually atrocious, Like they don't need.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if you're not a completist, you do not
<v Speaker 1>need them.
<v Speaker 2>One figure I do think you need, and you might
<v Speaker 2>disagree with you. Brian is the best of ninety seven Undertaker,
<v Speaker 2>which at first glance re release a series one, but
<v Speaker 2>it's not because it has the Jackson's fixed their mistakes,
<v Speaker 2>it has the tight joints, and it has the hole
<v Speaker 2>in the peg to put on a stand. So I think, like,
<v Speaker 2>if you're a lucy guy, I would recommend getting this
<v Speaker 2>over a series one any day.
<v Speaker 1>Last series one. If you're buying a series one taker
<v Speaker 1>to you know, Superstars, you're risking the chance that that's
<v Speaker 1>not going to like stand for you.
<v Speaker 2>I bet if you put the arm up, it would
<v Speaker 2>fall right down. Oh yeah, you know what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 2>Poses out of the question, poses out of the question.
<v Speaker 2>But can you even stand it in the display? It's
<v Speaker 2>like Woody from Toy Story.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, man, this Like you said, the joints
<v Speaker 1>are fixed, they're tighter, and of course you got the
<v Speaker 1>stand in the hole in the foot, so that's a
<v Speaker 1>no brainer.
<v Speaker 2>But still, how awesome would it have been? Just add
<v Speaker 2>me a couple of tattoos? Bro, It's not It's not
<v Speaker 2>like as a kid, it didn't bother me. But now
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, that's strange. Well, because it's not like Best
<v Speaker 2>th ninety seven was straight up re releases because they
<v Speaker 2>did add the Heart Foundation vests to Brett Owen and uh.
<v Speaker 1>True, and Bulldogs. Even the it's the gold Dust, right,
<v Speaker 1>that's like fixed.
<v Speaker 2>That's a that's a Series three re release, which is
<v Speaker 2>very very odd because they re release gold Dust and
<v Speaker 2>Diesel who's the fucking leader of nWo or one of
<v Speaker 2>the leads, but no Razor.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, the gold they like made an effort to make better,
<v Speaker 1>which I always to this day I thought it was strange.
<v Speaker 2>Then we have what I think needs to be in
<v Speaker 2>the major pot Hall of Fame man championship titles. Bro,
<v Speaker 2>that's going on my list. Now you said that you wait,
<v Speaker 2>you can put the box set in? Sure?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think we have to.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, why not? You can because you put two packing
<v Speaker 2>so why not a box set?
<v Speaker 3>Okay, well anyways, yeah, first of all, this is nineteen
<v Speaker 3>ninety nine, but it didn't come out ninety nine.
<v Speaker 2>No, no, dude, Yeah that's way wrong.
<v Speaker 3>That's ninety seven.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and so it's Undertaker, Rocky My via British Bulldog
<v Speaker 2>and Owen Hard.
<v Speaker 3>This is the greatest set of all th.
<v Speaker 1>Exclusive championship belts on five belts, which is like unreal.
<v Speaker 3>I have a memory of seeing this on the troupe.
<v Speaker 2>I think we're all either using some l j M
<v Speaker 2>belts a galoob W CW or a fucking scratched up
<v Speaker 2>Hasbro belt. The point if we have belts, we're making
<v Speaker 2>our own pennies making. Yeah, guys, you might think I'm crazy.
<v Speaker 2>I still think to this day, and I'm talking about
<v Speaker 2>comparing to Mattel Elites, these might be some of the
<v Speaker 2>best belts.
<v Speaker 3>Ever, very good belts.
<v Speaker 1>Why do you say that?
<v Speaker 2>Because because of the detailing and stuff like that, A
<v Speaker 2>little small, small, and I kind of like the small
<v Speaker 2>because it would pit your has bros.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to say it was cheap paint. But
<v Speaker 1>there's something where like they oxidize over time and they're
<v Speaker 1>not as like.
<v Speaker 2>Oh do they get no, no, no, no, there's two versions.
<v Speaker 3>Do they get slimy?
<v Speaker 1>They don't get slimy, But there's not there's ECW like
<v Speaker 1>Series one E. CW belts are like that. But then
<v Speaker 1>like the one that comes up with Mike Austin is
<v Speaker 1>like very vibrant. They must have realized whatever they did wrong.
<v Speaker 2>This is this is uh released twice with better paint.
<v Speaker 1>Man, I don't know what I have and I'm not
<v Speaker 1>digging it out to find out.
<v Speaker 3>So this is the first Jack's Lord of Darkness, which is.
<v Speaker 2>Great, yes, now not not as big as I would
<v Speaker 2>have like Puny's two Peenies like a Cruiserall yeah, this
<v Speaker 2>figure gets released, Oh, bro, insane amount of times. I mean, Bro,
<v Speaker 2>we're back to talk about it the next figure.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, let's I mean we got I think we should
<v Speaker 1>kind of burn through the.
<v Speaker 2>All right, we had to bury it alive, four packed
<v Speaker 2>Paul bear mankind Undertaker and Executioner Paul bear Man.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, but hold on a second. That's an epic set.
<v Speaker 3>That is such an ev set.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, it is for a couple of reasons. First
<v Speaker 1>of all, that chance, I think it's exclusive to Bradley's.
<v Speaker 1>It's nothing.
<v Speaker 2>No, it's target and we don't have target on Long
<v Speaker 2>Island yet.
<v Speaker 1>Is it target? I thought King of the Iron Rung Target,
<v Speaker 1>they're both. This is I think this is Bradley's.
<v Speaker 2>Now Bradley's I believe is the Undertaker and Paul bear
<v Speaker 2>are two.
<v Speaker 1>Pack might be right. So we don't even know what
<v Speaker 1>Bradley's is because we didn't have them, and I just
<v Speaker 1>remember reading it on the internet like, well he was Bradley's.
<v Speaker 2>We didn't We didn't have Target at this time. So
<v Speaker 2>I had no way to get the King of the
<v Speaker 2>Iron Rungs or this so luckily King of the Iron Rungs.
<v Speaker 2>You know, there's ways to get all those other characters.
<v Speaker 2>I had no fucking way to get the Executioner years
<v Speaker 2>and this Undertaker is the same as one of the
<v Speaker 2>belt packrounds, like a weird like cape looking thing, which
<v Speaker 2>isn't even quite accurate.
<v Speaker 1>But true, but same as a kid I liked, like
<v Speaker 1>I would use a big dramatic entrance.
<v Speaker 2>You know, are we gonna talk about the famous fights
<v Speaker 2>Bendam's Undertaker mankind I'm in school.
<v Speaker 1>But a three pack pack, which because it makes sense,
<v Speaker 1>you know, that's cool. This the six figures and minifigures
<v Speaker 1>in the Ring I found and got the same day
<v Speaker 1>as the title pack. Really toys, that's big ass toys
<v Speaker 1>r us in uh New York City before the one
<v Speaker 1>that's there, you know, the one that was there like
<v Speaker 1>forever and closed down last year.
<v Speaker 3>Oh this minifigure box set?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, okay, yeah, now that I use those guys as
<v Speaker 2>like my Mexican minis and I fed those are like.
<v Speaker 3>Perfect because it's Vader and Undertaker and man, what was
<v Speaker 3>that royal rumble?
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember those were we're going on vacation, I
<v Speaker 1>would just take those. It is a lot easier to
<v Speaker 1>take of my old fig fed those minis.
<v Speaker 2>For a lot of times, yet ripped in Ruthless series
<v Speaker 2>one Undertaker. These figures that all got, they're like statues,
<v Speaker 2>definitely more collector based.
<v Speaker 1>They're like comic book ish.
<v Speaker 2>I dig them. I had them all They're like valueless
<v Speaker 2>now yeah, and that it's weird because they later re
<v Speaker 2>released that Undertaker like various ways and they just take
<v Speaker 2>them off the stand.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but I there's something toyatic about them, even though
<v Speaker 1>like it hasn't translated, Like you said, there's no value,
<v Speaker 1>but they're cool. They're comic book esque. I think some
<v Speaker 1>people would dig them for sure.
<v Speaker 2>We have signature series too, The Undertaker. Now, the signature
<v Speaker 2>series had like fake signatures on them, which like simile
<v Speaker 2>is the word you're looking for, fac simile. But they
<v Speaker 2>also they add like weird purple tint Undertaker. I don't
<v Speaker 2>remember anything call that, but you're right.
<v Speaker 1>I mean I'm staring at it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, it's a weird, like subtle.
<v Speaker 1>Series like epically pissed me off as a kid because
<v Speaker 1>I felt like I needed them because they were different.
<v Speaker 1>But I would just literally buy them and just put
<v Speaker 1>them in a ziplock of my toe and not even
<v Speaker 1>like address them. They wouldn't be my fig feds nothing.
<v Speaker 2>But some of them you needed because they'd be new
<v Speaker 2>figures or for instance, in my case, I didn't have
<v Speaker 2>the King of the Iron rungs, so that was my
<v Speaker 2>only way to have an Austin and Austin T shirt.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, so I had iron rungs, so that's not my issue. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I couldn't do it. I was like too spoiled. Then
<v Speaker 1>it would drive me nuts, like why would there be
<v Speaker 1>a fake autograph in this guy's leg while he's cutting
<v Speaker 1>a promo on my raw?
<v Speaker 2>Hear me out here? Would you be opposed to if
<v Speaker 2>Ringside re released our original two pack with the mask
<v Speaker 2>and the purple but if it was a signature series
<v Speaker 2>with signures on the legs, Uh, I wouldn't actually, right, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it wouldn't it be pretty damn cool man?
<v Speaker 1>It was damn cool man.
<v Speaker 2>Then, of Jesus Christ, I had this. There was no
<v Speaker 2>reason to really get this though. Actually for me, there
<v Speaker 2>was was the The Undertaker shotgun Saturday Night. It's the
<v Speaker 2>same goddamn Undertaker we've been talking about. But for me,
<v Speaker 2>I got the shovel and the tombstone that's in the
<v Speaker 2>Buried Life four pack, but I didn't have that, So
<v Speaker 2>I have a shovel. To have a shovel and a
<v Speaker 2>Tombstone's like, oh, of course for the Undertaking three? Do
<v Speaker 2>you buried the live matches? Whatever?
<v Speaker 1>This is really exposing my psychoonists at this time of
<v Speaker 1>my life. So all this stuff I would get, I
<v Speaker 1>would keep the accessories, so I like, that's more accessors.
<v Speaker 1>I have to count that, right, and then I would
<v Speaker 1>like analyze the figure of it was different whatsoever, and
<v Speaker 1>then that would go into like my extras or trade
<v Speaker 1>bait bin or whatever.
<v Speaker 2>Got it.
<v Speaker 1>It was really nuts now I'm even saying that out loud.
<v Speaker 2>So now I'm looking at this list. This list is
<v Speaker 2>definitely a little out of order here because now it
<v Speaker 2>lists like the Cane Undertaker grudge match, which definitely is
<v Speaker 2>not out yet.
<v Speaker 3>By the way, we're on page We just went to
<v Speaker 3>page two on a seventy on a seventy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean I have to burn when do you
<v Speaker 2>want to burn it? How about this one? There's no
<v Speaker 2>way we go to this how about we go through
<v Speaker 2>We say, guys, everyone go to figure Collections dot com.
<v Speaker 2>But how about we scroll through this and we each pick.
<v Speaker 2>We we go through. If there's something that that stands
<v Speaker 2>out to us, we have to talk about it. Like
<v Speaker 2>Stomp series one. Okay, here we go, perfect Stop series one.
<v Speaker 2>This comes out.
<v Speaker 1>It's it's kind of a major Stomp has become a
<v Speaker 1>major lore. I mean, we have to address it. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>everyone's the same body and height, which is a little
<v Speaker 1>rough in retrospect, but is what it is.
<v Speaker 3>It's a fun Undertaker though he's got a cool axe.
<v Speaker 1>That stomphead, by the way, was reused on the Live
<v Speaker 1>Wire but take her. Did you realize that brisk, Yes,
<v Speaker 1>it did. I love the whole idea.
<v Speaker 2>And Brian, like you said, you used to play like
<v Speaker 2>a stop a Paradise a thunder and Paradise.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, that's what I had to do when werawing off
<v Speaker 1>the air, Stomping Paradise, I s daring Stokell Steve Boston.
<v Speaker 1>It's so great, dude, I'm just kind of counting counting
<v Speaker 1>how many times that Taker's like been released that box
<v Speaker 1>set you know, uha, Lord of Darkness ticker, there's at
<v Speaker 1>least twelve different things different box sets. Slammers is the
<v Speaker 1>same figure, but they've added the was it a kick?
<v Speaker 2>I hated the whole Slammers concept. At one point Slammers
<v Speaker 2>was going to take over the bone crushing like, thank
<v Speaker 2>god that did not happen. That would have been a
<v Speaker 2>nightmare for me. Is absolutely bad blood. Did you ever
<v Speaker 2>have that as a kid? I did not? And that
<v Speaker 2>has the under Now that this is what they finally
<v Speaker 2>like repaint that Taker, give them some tattoos.
<v Speaker 1>Tattoos? Is that the cross and his palms, right, which
<v Speaker 1>is really cool? And that's also that's the blonde Paul
<v Speaker 1>Bear debut, right, that's I think that it's.
<v Speaker 2>The only way and it's the only way or one
<v Speaker 2>of the only ways to get Austin with a vest
<v Speaker 2>right one figure. I think we have to talk about
<v Speaker 2>It's on page three here. So things are a little
<v Speaker 2>how to order series seven Undertaker, Like, finally we have
<v Speaker 2>a doo mold. Yes, that's like a big deal.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, but same as what we just talked about. Holy Goda,
<v Speaker 1>they get their money's worth.
<v Speaker 2>But finally we get the tattoos. He's more jacked up.
<v Speaker 2>It looks more like Taker but I thought the gear
<v Speaker 2>it's like a weird color, like grayish charcoal. ISSU should
<v Speaker 2>have been more.
<v Speaker 1>Black to me for sure, but as a kid didn't
<v Speaker 1>bother me fair enough looking back, like it's one of
<v Speaker 1>those retrospect the freedom ways of analyzing it, Like, well,
<v Speaker 1>I guess that's kind of weird.
<v Speaker 2>But I also want to talk about Series nine where
<v Speaker 2>it's the same figure but they the Ministry of Darkness
<v Speaker 2>cloak on.
<v Speaker 1>Him, which was a really nice, nice piece of soft
<v Speaker 1>goods for its time.
<v Speaker 2>And it's crazy because in that same set you have
<v Speaker 2>this awesome soft goods Undertaker Cloak, but then the Physic Man.
<v Speaker 2>When you hear that's kind of a removable suit, you
<v Speaker 2>think it's gould be similar, but it's the classic piece
<v Speaker 2>that if you look from the back he has no
<v Speaker 2>suit on.
<v Speaker 1>It looks like the marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters.
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to skip to Titan Tron Series one under
<v Speaker 2>sure no Titan Trod.
<v Speaker 1>In wrestling figure history.
<v Speaker 2>I don't say the worst idea, worse execution about that, Like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it just didn't work out. Every figure is a chip
<v Speaker 2>where they'll play the entrance music when they walk through.
<v Speaker 2>Titanron interior that's great, but by series three, those guys
<v Speaker 2>aren't on the trod. You know what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 1>You know, if there's that one generic song that will
<v Speaker 1>play for every execution. But in theory, great idea. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I feel like in modern times and technology, this could
<v Speaker 1>be done much more efficiently.
<v Speaker 2>But well, I think now because my department, you could
<v Speaker 2>do like an act something called the internet. Why fi
<v Speaker 2>download themes? Yeah, we got to touch on the Undertaker
<v Speaker 2>bend Them number three, nineteen ninety nine. It's like mini Undertakers.
<v Speaker 1>So I don't really want to talk about it.
<v Speaker 2>Well you got it's so bad? You got horrible. Oh,
<v Speaker 2>it's so bad.
<v Speaker 1>And I extra hate this figure because if you watch
<v Speaker 1>our Bendam's history on YouTube as we're going through it,
<v Speaker 1>I pulled mine out and it had one sideburn, so
<v Speaker 1>I had to get another one and it's very hard
<v Speaker 1>to find and kind of expensive. But it's a horrible figure.
<v Speaker 3>I kind of defended this one. Why I didn't mind it.
<v Speaker 3>It's small, but I use my imagination.
<v Speaker 1>That's insane. Can we got to talk about maximum span?
<v Speaker 1>Taker is so legendary, so top guy like you didn't
<v Speaker 1>miss like one category?
<v Speaker 2>No, I was like we got a batche I talk
<v Speaker 2>about maximum sweat, maximum sweat.
<v Speaker 1>Baby. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I love these figures several so good. At the time,
<v Speaker 2>I did not get them all. Now I have them all,
<v Speaker 2>So I mean, guys, you're complete. I don't think I
<v Speaker 2>have the metallic set, okay, but I'm pretty complete.
<v Speaker 1>Besides that, that's impressive.
<v Speaker 2>Let's also talk about the Toy Fair Undertaker is exclusive
<v Speaker 2>in their magazine, not Toy Fair magazine, not the events
<v Speaker 2>yet the event and it comes and it's very similar
<v Speaker 2>to the one that's with uh vis are on the
<v Speaker 2>two back, but he glows in the dark.
<v Speaker 1>Which is also dark, something we should acknowledge because it
<v Speaker 1>was like an unreal upgrade deco and you know what
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Like, it's way different.
<v Speaker 2>But I didn't like it because again they give him
<v Speaker 2>like a purple tint.
<v Speaker 1>Where it's more put into it. That's what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 2>He didn't wear that purplish is there tats and stuff
<v Speaker 2>and colored tats, color color tts. Yeah, but then there's
<v Speaker 2>also the White Guy's Magazine exclusive in the box, remember that?
<v Speaker 1>Oh man? Yeah? Wow?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So do you do you think Mark Calloway has any
<v Speaker 1>of this stuff?
<v Speaker 2>I think you may have some.
<v Speaker 3>I bet you he does, just like a random one.
<v Speaker 3>I bet you he's got like a real bad tron
<v Speaker 3>one sitting on a shelf.
<v Speaker 1>I don't.
<v Speaker 2>I would love to know there's something displayed.
<v Speaker 1>Holy shit, I would love to know that. But I
<v Speaker 1>bet he has a good amount of it, like in
<v Speaker 1>a storage unit or something.
<v Speaker 2>Now we skipped over this, but I think it counts
<v Speaker 2>grapple gear the casket.
<v Speaker 1>True, right, I mean he's got a pack of accessories
<v Speaker 1>dedicated to his gimmick.
<v Speaker 2>It's I mean, I think we all made our own caskets,
<v Speaker 2>had a shoe boxes or whatever. You finally get the casket,
<v Speaker 2>it's like a good size. I will say this. No
<v Speaker 2>company's made a better casket in my opinion.
<v Speaker 1>The ring side one is pretty cool and that's.
<v Speaker 2>But I think inside it's not as detailed as this
<v Speaker 2>Jacks one because it's like not supposed to be. Though
<v Speaker 2>it's like foam or whatever in the ring, but it's
<v Speaker 2>not supposed to be because it's not it's not molded.
<v Speaker 2>It's just like a piece of fold. It's not as
<v Speaker 2>good all right. And famously, guys, when I proposed to
<v Speaker 2>Chelsea Green, I hid the ring in one of these
<v Speaker 2>grapple gear coffins, because I thought, Okay, if I had
<v Speaker 2>to have this in my bag, she's just gonna Oh,
<v Speaker 2>he just has an undertaker confident she's not gonna look
<v Speaker 2>through it.
<v Speaker 1>And she didn't, which is like the most genius bizarre
<v Speaker 1>playing about that she looked through And MS also told
<v Speaker 1>Underdigger this story.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god, that's what you did. Well, we were
<v Speaker 2>standing there.
<v Speaker 3>What did Undertigger say?
<v Speaker 2>He said, what up?
<v Speaker 1>Dude?
<v Speaker 3>He said he.
<v Speaker 1>Had a pretty funny comment about like, well, I hope
<v Speaker 1>you had better luck with marriage than I've had or something.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I had a better look.
<v Speaker 1>It was a cameo to Zach Ryder about marriage.
<v Speaker 2>This figure very important SmackDown House of Pain, the first
<v Speaker 2>ever American badass now total part mash up. They did
<v Speaker 2>whatever they could to get this out fast, but it worked.
<v Speaker 1>And we should say tit trons get really salvage with
<v Speaker 1>real scan technology.
<v Speaker 2>And I also think some of these scans are breathtaking.
<v Speaker 2>I said this a couple of weeks ago. I think
<v Speaker 2>the best scans of all time are on these jacks
<v Speaker 2>like Titan Trons when they first use the technology.
<v Speaker 1>It's debatable for sure, this one in particular is like
<v Speaker 1>really good.
<v Speaker 2>Really good. Another one that's kind of before that Titan
<v Speaker 2>Tron Live Series five, it's the Ministry of Darkness Undertaker.
<v Speaker 2>I think when that figure came out it was like, WHOA,
<v Speaker 2>remember chess piece. But he's also off TV, right, so
<v Speaker 2>it's like right, it was just kind of like an
<v Speaker 2>older look and he was off TV, so it's very strange.
<v Speaker 2>It's such a great figure that fucking Jack's re released
<v Speaker 2>it later in the Rulers Aggression Classic Superstar Slide years later,
<v Speaker 2>years later. That's how good it was. What about this bro?
<v Speaker 2>What about so the bone crunches are done, but they
<v Speaker 2>live on a KB backlash where there's like these random
<v Speaker 2>ass repaints and they take that Undertaker, that skinny Undertaker
<v Speaker 2>we talked about many times, and we repaint it with
<v Speaker 2>with like red hair and a blue shirt that's like
<v Speaker 2>America badass Taker. Yeah, I love it.
<v Speaker 1>You in doing this and talking all these out loud,
<v Speaker 1>I'm like you could if you if you want it.
<v Speaker 1>First of being an Undertaker, complete thisst would be like
<v Speaker 1>you can probably fill my life.
<v Speaker 2>You might as well rest in peace.
<v Speaker 1>You can fill my toy room, right Like it would
<v Speaker 1>be insane, but you could probably you could have like
<v Speaker 1>a bad Undertaker figure collection. That would be pretty ep.
<v Speaker 1>You could have like a insane, immaculate, beautiful, unreal, perfect
<v Speaker 1>action figure Undertaker collection. There's just so much.
<v Speaker 2>Right, of course, he has a lot of the finishing moves,
<v Speaker 2>which are pretty cool. You know, he can do the tombstone,
<v Speaker 2>the Choke's land that he fucking lasts right, power Bomb
<v Speaker 2>loved all that and a.
<v Speaker 1>Lot of these things. He gets dogged in his size
<v Speaker 1>because the guys are all the same and the parts
<v Speaker 1>are all the same.
<v Speaker 2>That's true, that's true, a lot of American badass stuff.
<v Speaker 2>But then it segues into R three. So I think
<v Speaker 2>the R three are some of the best figures of
<v Speaker 2>all time. But then they get really sloppy and lazy
<v Speaker 2>because originally supposed to be everyone is gonna have their
<v Speaker 2>own parts, hot bro. Come on, you knew right away
<v Speaker 2>there's no way they're gonna sustain.
<v Speaker 1>That, which well when I didn't as a kid because
<v Speaker 1>I wasn't nigging like that. But Series one and Series
<v Speaker 1>two are pretty impressive, and then falls off the rails.
<v Speaker 2>But Underdiggers, he ever have his own parts. He's a mishmash.
<v Speaker 2>So like, no, I think he does have his own parts.
<v Speaker 2>Serious's in series one.
<v Speaker 1>And that's his own point. Yeah, you're right, okay, I'm
<v Speaker 1>thinking of like that.
<v Speaker 2>He doesn't actually have a traditional wrestling gear one until
<v Speaker 2>the WrestleMania eighteen two pack with Ric Flair. And also
<v Speaker 2>we forgot to mention at this time he cuts his hair. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>so like that Titan tron, we do have some Titan
<v Speaker 2>trines without Do we have tight Tan with short hair
<v Speaker 2>or were we are we pulling the ponytails off? No,
<v Speaker 2>I think that, I think actually I think the first
<v Speaker 2>R three has long hair. Yes, right, yes, okay, there's
<v Speaker 2>a lot of like new bone crunches this time the
<v Speaker 2>R threes. But now it's like Undertaker, he's the American
<v Speaker 2>badass of his gear. He doesn't really have gear.
<v Speaker 1>He's a little he's a little less toyatic, if we're
<v Speaker 1>being honest.
<v Speaker 2>Right, it's more like streak gear. Like as a matter
<v Speaker 2>of fact, there's one of those KB backlashes. He looks
<v Speaker 2>like a goddamn member of the d o A.
<v Speaker 3>I was literally thought, oh they put they put a
<v Speaker 3>chains in here or of skull or whatever it is.
<v Speaker 1>No, actually, love the these original type. He's like, his
<v Speaker 1>figures are the best of these original real skin Titan
<v Speaker 1>trons with the ponytail, the bad American badass ones was
<v Speaker 1>so good.
<v Speaker 2>All right? What about Ruthless Aggression? Now we're talking about
<v Speaker 2>the American badness figures not being Toyatak, the first American
<v Speaker 2>badness figure. They paint a tank top over Jacked Torso,
<v Speaker 2>so they don't even give him like a tank top mold.
<v Speaker 1>What series is that? I'm trying to even believe it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm looking at page seven, I.
<v Speaker 3>Believe Yeah, Rude's Disgression series four.
<v Speaker 1>I'm burning through these. This is wild, right.
<v Speaker 3>Wolf.
<v Speaker 2>I think some of his betters got eight abs. I
<v Speaker 2>think some of the better ones are like the Summer
<v Speaker 2>Slam uh, the Summer Slam ones, because he's a more
<v Speaker 2>of an actual tank top. I still think a little
<v Speaker 2>too skinny.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but that's like that that Brett Hart tank top mold.
<v Speaker 1>It's not right.
<v Speaker 2>Well it's not Brett Hart yet, I know, but like
<v Speaker 2>the one they use for Brett Hart that if you
<v Speaker 2>close your eyes as a Brett Hart classic tank top,
<v Speaker 2>like that's not good enough for I don't think this
<v Speaker 2>one on the list it should be there. Oh, here
<v Speaker 2>it is. Things are a little out of order here.
<v Speaker 2>Wrestle Madia twenty.
<v Speaker 1>I mean it's a love hate thing.
<v Speaker 2>Now let's let's let's give Jacks the better for the
<v Speaker 2>down here. WrestleMania twenty is what in March or April? Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and they get this figure out in shelves by summertime,
<v Speaker 2>so it's quick turnaround. Yes, But Undertaker comes back after
<v Speaker 2>this hiatus with long girl hair. It's not as long
<v Speaker 2>as it gets, but he's throwing it out.
<v Speaker 1>He looks like an Amishka. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So what they do is they just use the America
<v Speaker 2>Badass head with the short ass hair, but give you
<v Speaker 2>an Undertaker hat to put on it. Yes, it's like,
<v Speaker 2>come on, I don't hate it. Even to this day,
<v Speaker 2>I don't hate it. I definitely hate it.
<v Speaker 1>They tried. I do hate Classic Superstar Series one. Bro.
<v Speaker 2>Well, let's also talk about during the Titanron era. There's
<v Speaker 2>supposed to be like then and now two Pack, which
<v Speaker 2>would have been cool, which it was like this undertake
<v Speaker 2>your Head. Well basically this don't take your figure well
<v Speaker 2>like American Badness figure. The whole line gets canceled, but
<v Speaker 2>then they use that figure in series one of Classic Superstars.
<v Speaker 2>Iconic set changes the whole goddamn business, the wrestling business,
<v Speaker 2>not just toy business. But let's think about this then,
<v Speaker 2>the Ruthless Aggression era. Okay, the Undertaker is a Titan
<v Speaker 2>Tron figure. Okay, he's got the purple gloves and like
<v Speaker 2>not even gray boots. They're like white boots. Yeah, pretty
<v Speaker 2>like head scratchy. Like I wish you could just be
<v Speaker 2>in the office and be like, how this happened?
<v Speaker 1>Guys?
<v Speaker 3>Take me back? What are you guys doing? This set
<v Speaker 3>comes out, Oh my god, classics. But you see that,
<v Speaker 3>and what do you say?
<v Speaker 2>You almost give it a pass because it's so cool. Okay.
<v Speaker 1>My thought is I'm so jacked up about Ulteri, Morior
<v Speaker 1>and Brett and Sean and Hunter that I don't care.
<v Speaker 2>Wait, guys, Andre the Giant has a big show. R
<v Speaker 2>three body. The other four were so put out. Jerman
<v Speaker 2>Madauer put out oddre of the Giant with two straps
<v Speaker 2>Thinglet you have.
<v Speaker 1>To think about this, like the flashback ideology is so
<v Speaker 1>common now that they put flashbacks in regular lineups. Think
<v Speaker 1>about that. That's how far we've come at this time
<v Speaker 1>two thousand and four these classics drop. This isn't even
<v Speaker 1>like it's not a thing. It's unheard of it.
<v Speaker 3>Especially Ultimate Warrior, who hasn't been in wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>And yeah, they would even like reference the guy on
<v Speaker 1>television for the past fifteen years.
<v Speaker 2>They had a self destruction of Ultimate war DVD. It
<v Speaker 2>was nuts.
<v Speaker 1>The whole thing was nuts, just the idea that was
<v Speaker 1>even okayed in happening.
<v Speaker 3>Can I ask you what this flexum is bend a supervendom.
<v Speaker 3>It looks so insane, all right.
<v Speaker 1>Like a supervendom in a line that like was very that.
<v Speaker 1>So Jack's like, I don't want to say there's like
<v Speaker 1>thirteen or fourteen sets of six and like there's certain
<v Speaker 1>dudes that have I'm sure takers one of them that
<v Speaker 1>has seven repaints, like just they just keep pumping them out. Well,
<v Speaker 1>occasionally you get brock. You know, there's a new guy,
<v Speaker 1>and then they just keep keep doing it.
<v Speaker 3>You know, got it.
<v Speaker 2>A couple of things we skipped and and see it
<v Speaker 2>on this list because technically there might not be figures
<v Speaker 2>the bone crunching buddy, and then that like they make that.
<v Speaker 2>I believe there's multiple undertakers like that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and then he's got the definitely has the Slammer
<v Speaker 1>one or the Bangers they're called.
<v Speaker 2>Whatever that thing is called. Yeah, but there's no even
<v Speaker 2>like the just toys era we saw like mock ups
<v Speaker 2>of Diesel and Brett wrestling buddies. Undertaker was never gonna
<v Speaker 2>get one. She's a little weird, just Diesel on bretton
<v Speaker 2>who knows, maybe he would have eventually, Yeah, for sure.
<v Speaker 3>Do we want to put a pin on this?
<v Speaker 1>I think we just finished Jack's.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, all right, good idea, A good idea.
<v Speaker 1>Good idea. Yeah. Some of these, like I was kind
<v Speaker 1>of the same before, some of these are rotten. One
<v Speaker 1>Ruther Disgression eight point five.
<v Speaker 2>It's him wearing one of his merch shirts, not even
<v Speaker 2>like bro first, I would never have America Badass Taker
<v Speaker 2>wearing like a nineteen ninety six merch shirt. Right, it
<v Speaker 2>couldn't make my god, it's just like it's just like
<v Speaker 2>making something for the sake of making something, like crazy
<v Speaker 2>and then Classic Superstars Series three, they just re release
<v Speaker 2>a Titan Tron. Maybe they switched some paint deco from
<v Speaker 2>a Titan Tron figure. The Ministry of Darkness, so like
<v Speaker 2>Takers in this line twice in this Ruther disgression line,
<v Speaker 2>but with two Titan Tron figures we also forgot. He
<v Speaker 2>also gets the thumb wrestler that didn't come up, the
<v Speaker 2>Jack's thumb wrestler. That was cool. I like that. It's cool,
<v Speaker 2>like I forgot those even existed. Is it with this
<v Speaker 2>aggression eleven, which is the first one with him in
<v Speaker 2>the long hair and stuff?
<v Speaker 1>Is that? Yes? And is that with the coat? The
<v Speaker 1>coat which I remember getting then thinking like okay, this
<v Speaker 1>is like finally we got like a pretty good Taker
<v Speaker 1>that we've needed for.
<v Speaker 2>A while painted on torso so you see abs.
<v Speaker 1>And pecks, toyat larger than life.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if I agree with that. Man, he's
<v Speaker 2>had some bad classics, man, bro, I don't think. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if he has a good one. That the
<v Speaker 2>classic three pack is all bad, it's bro, I don't
<v Speaker 2>think he has a good.
<v Speaker 3>Class three faces of Taker.
<v Speaker 1>Yeahten, it's like full blown rotten across the board.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, I take that back. What about his two pack
<v Speaker 2>with mankind that's actually a decent Taker, isn't so?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>Okay, I suppose it's not too bad.
<v Speaker 1>It's like the same shirt as like the or like
<v Speaker 1>a Triple H at the time. That would be like
<v Speaker 1>an evolution promo.
<v Speaker 3>Triple H clearly cost cut, no hat, no or no
<v Speaker 3>no jacket or anything, just black.
<v Speaker 2>I also, actually, you know, I take it back. I
<v Speaker 2>do like the two pack with Paul Barrow because like
<v Speaker 2>an old school Taker, like early nineties Taker, but Paul
<v Speaker 2>Bear is taller than him.
<v Speaker 1>Paul Beart's the biggest figure of all time, so it
<v Speaker 1>kind of negates the okayness of the Taker figure. I
<v Speaker 1>will say this, I was like pretty all in on
<v Speaker 1>Deluxe Aggression when they first came. I thought they were
<v Speaker 1>pretty sweet and his is awesome. Like this is when
<v Speaker 1>he transitioned to like the gear they're like I wear now, yes,
<v Speaker 1>singlet tights, not pants. He actually even wore like kickers
<v Speaker 1>for a little bit, right.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, yes, so pretty much trios where he's got the
<v Speaker 2>the singlet top.
<v Speaker 1>But it's like spandex bro I thought that was the
<v Speaker 1>Ring side exclusive that's coming out.
<v Speaker 2>No, this is this. This one came about twenty years ago,
<v Speaker 2>and it's better than the Ring not going like that.
<v Speaker 1>Uh. I do love the Treacher's trios with the Orton family.
<v Speaker 1>It's a good one just for the idea of it.
<v Speaker 2>That's not just fun. Forget Unmatched Fury had some good ones.
<v Speaker 2>The big statues, Well, Match Fury was. I think it's
<v Speaker 2>just a pretty cool line. I feel like Match Fury
<v Speaker 2>could be done again by Metalla and be successful. There's
<v Speaker 2>uh some cool two packs.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, god, so I forgot the official what
<v Speaker 1>Up Dead? Two pack?
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god?
<v Speaker 3>Versus Mark Henry Jacks?
<v Speaker 1>Do you have to get Mark Henry right? What up Dead?
<v Speaker 1>On this? If you have this mino card?
<v Speaker 2>Bro, you know what, here's a little challenge of somebody
<v Speaker 2>that two pack. If someone gets Mark Henry's had what
<v Speaker 2>Up Dead? On? There? I'll give a thousand bucks.
<v Speaker 1>That's is it? Even on eBay? It's a WrestleMania twenty two.
<v Speaker 1>Take your market.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, bro, just just look above that where it
<v Speaker 2>shows the Paul Baron Undertaker where Paul bearers.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, oh that makes me like anxious. Fuck.
<v Speaker 2>The two packs, the deluxe two packs with Sean and
<v Speaker 2>King are really cool.
<v Speaker 1>I think they're pretty great. I loved I guess I
<v Speaker 1>feel like Deluxe Classic and Deluxe Ruth has never got
<v Speaker 1>a fair shake. Maybe it will, like years from now,
<v Speaker 1>Like you know, people go back and reflect on it.
<v Speaker 1>But I guess the big problem is scale, right not?
<v Speaker 1>I think maybe the Big Show is like big right.
<v Speaker 2>Right, and like Unzo is like the same size like Undertaker, Oh,
<v Speaker 2>everybody's the same. Yeah, speaking of weird scale, what about
<v Speaker 2>the Undertaker l j N. I mean all those figures
<v Speaker 2>are not in scale, the lgls, but I like them.
<v Speaker 1>I actually like these, and I've like kicked the tires
<v Speaker 1>about getting him a couple of but yeah, I.
<v Speaker 2>Think you should do it.
<v Speaker 1>Probably won't happen, but.
<v Speaker 2>All right, what else?
<v Speaker 1>And he's just so top guy and so famous that
<v Speaker 1>like even in this error, this Ruth's aggression figure with
<v Speaker 1>the trench coat is released just so many times too.
<v Speaker 3>No, you're not getting every one of these? Are you still? Brian?
<v Speaker 1>Yes?
<v Speaker 2>Really yes, like a psychopath. What till the dying days
<v Speaker 2>that jactually were getting everything.
<v Speaker 1>It's like we I didn't stop until we knew it
<v Speaker 1>was over.
<v Speaker 3>So it was a repaint or whatever, you basically already
<v Speaker 3>had it, and it was a new packaging or whatever,
<v Speaker 3>you'd still get it.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, basically like eight out of ten times, I'm getting it.
<v Speaker 1>Or if not, I had a a database like on
<v Speaker 1>my computer and I kept track of what I didn't have. Wow, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it was really disturbing, guys.
<v Speaker 2>Jesus Christ.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, there's the microaggression figures, building brawl, building brawl on
<v Speaker 4>match furies are great.
<v Speaker 3>I was just gonna say that on the match Fury
<v Speaker 3>is is great. The seven Series seven and.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even remember this Taker and Triple H Classic
<v Speaker 1>two pack.
<v Speaker 2>That's like the Dying Days.
<v Speaker 1>That's I don't know if I've every known this w
<v Speaker 1>W Shop exclusive.
<v Speaker 2>That's like the WrestleMania it's supposed to have picked that match.
<v Speaker 1>That's so Jack's they're the same height.
<v Speaker 2>Oh god, yeah, well what about another Undertaker Paul Bear situation.
<v Speaker 2>Now they have Caine in this three pack, but the
<v Speaker 2>Cane has like the two thousand and five masks painted
<v Speaker 2>like the nineteen eighty eight mask. Man, what are they
<v Speaker 2>doing over there? Jackson?
<v Speaker 1>I'm mats Fury is sweet?
<v Speaker 2>So good?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so good?
<v Speaker 2>What page are we got here?
<v Speaker 1>I'm on twelve?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah I just started twelve, just started twelve.
<v Speaker 2>Yep.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I actually thought the ww Most people don't even
<v Speaker 1>know about this ww all scale. This is also something
<v Speaker 1>like I never had this is Dying Day. Oh I
<v Speaker 1>never had those a Micro, a building brow and a
<v Speaker 1>Ruthless and a three pack just to be like, this
<v Speaker 1>is how over this guy is we gonna make this.
<v Speaker 3>That's very weird. All scale series one weird?
<v Speaker 2>Well what about Microaggression Series ten Undertaker, Greg Kelly and
<v Speaker 2>Deuce all those classic triple threats those guys had, And
<v Speaker 2>it's funny because well, did they know Deuce was going
<v Speaker 2>to drop Underdeake at Wrestle Media Man. That is the
<v Speaker 2>kind of nuts actually night to think get your revenge? Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>what about vinyl aggression Undertaker?
<v Speaker 1>Damn? This is something that a Vinyl aggression was a
<v Speaker 1>swing and a miss, but they had so many if
<v Speaker 1>you think about it, it came out for a while.
<v Speaker 1>This is something that I wish, like we talk about
<v Speaker 1>all the time, like when we started, you just kind
<v Speaker 1>of hid your fandom and didn't want people to know
<v Speaker 1>because the boys will just.
<v Speaker 2>Eat you alive.
<v Speaker 1>Like here's a two pack from the Taker at Edge Match,
<v Speaker 1>main event of rest Man in twenty four that we're in.
<v Speaker 1>Like if this was now, I would bring that to
<v Speaker 1>work and be like, can you guys sign this for me?
<v Speaker 1>It was an honor to be a part of that
<v Speaker 1>was really cool and like nobody would care. Back then,
<v Speaker 1>I'd probably be fired if I asked for that, right, Bro,
<v Speaker 1>I'm today years older that that said, I think I
<v Speaker 1>need that pretty cool?
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely, how do we not have we're in that match.
<v Speaker 1>I know this is Dying Days too of Jack.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna search for that right now. Yeah, but you're
<v Speaker 2>absolutely right, that's what I should have got signed.
<v Speaker 1>Right But if we did it when it came out
<v Speaker 1>in whatever two thousand and nine or to two thousand
<v Speaker 1>and eight, we get destroyed right now, Undertaker Edge Jacks
<v Speaker 1>and I guess it's a tough find.
<v Speaker 2>Bro. I just could have got that signed when I
<v Speaker 2>got my uh from Dark Parlor. That would have been awesome.
<v Speaker 1>Well, there's a little rumor ski about where what a
<v Speaker 1>dead might be soon signing.
<v Speaker 2>I'm looking right here on Eve Undertaker.
<v Speaker 1>Edge and I just rounded it out. I mean, he
<v Speaker 1>has got some dying day stuff like Jeff Hardy, tu
<v Speaker 1>PACs Adrenaline, that brutal classic where he's the height of
<v Speaker 1>like every regular guy in jeans and T shirt.
<v Speaker 2>Bro, what no tax, no tax, Shawn Michaels where they
<v Speaker 2>paint Shawn Michael's long tights like their chaps.
<v Speaker 1>That's literally like the deathbed, like last like I didn't
<v Speaker 1>even know that, Like I was done.
<v Speaker 2>Like Jack's just said, all right, it's over, guys. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>the last eight months are like atrocious, and I just
<v Speaker 2>got to what I think is still an incredible figure.
<v Speaker 2>What's that?
<v Speaker 1>Ww Mattel Elite Series one Undertaker, Well, that's what.
<v Speaker 2>We're gonna take a pause for the cause and we're
<v Speaker 2>gonna stop. Guys. I hope you enjoyed this incarnation of Undertaker,
<v Speaker 2>Incarnation of Domination. We have part two right now, not
<v Speaker 2>next month, right now, literally, go fucking press play. But
<v Speaker 2>you have to be and a hard Foundation member or
<v Speaker 2>or Ultimate So if you haven't upgraded, please that's the
<v Speaker 2>d all right, So we always do like what's our favorite?
<v Speaker 2>What's our favorite so far of this era?
<v Speaker 3>Jack? I think I think Jack's I guess the series
<v Speaker 3>one the packaging Superstars Class.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think IM gonna have to go with that too, Jack,
<v Speaker 1>Superstars one.
<v Speaker 3>It's just too yeah sorry bz A.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's just it was just so exciting for me.
<v Speaker 1>It's still it still is.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna agree with you, Undertaker.
<v Speaker 3>Wow.
<v Speaker 2>Series one I haven't autographed. Yeah, bro, like you talk
<v Speaker 2>about we talked about this all the time. You know,
<v Speaker 2>you never know what's gonna happen in this world. And
<v Speaker 2>to get things signed, if you want to get signed,
<v Speaker 2>don't wait, always take those pictures, you know, all that stuff.
<v Speaker 2>Like last year at Wrestle Kan, I got my series
<v Speaker 2>one signed by Razor Ramone. Yeah. I haven't seen him since,
<v Speaker 2>you know, And unfortunately, as to the screen, he passed
<v Speaker 2>away today, which is beyond fucking said.
<v Speaker 1>Half an hour before we started recording this actual.
<v Speaker 2>Episode, which is fucking crazy, right, But the fact that
<v Speaker 2>you never fucking know. So if there's an opportunity to
<v Speaker 2>get something signed, if you want to signed.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, meet somebody, Yeah, tell him what they meant to
<v Speaker 3>you or whatever.
<v Speaker 2>Of course, it's just a wild it's a wild ride.
<v Speaker 2>You never know what's gonna be your last ride, no
<v Speaker 2>pun intended. So but if you want to listen to
<v Speaker 2>part two, oh so let me just say my you know,
<v Speaker 2>Undertaker Series one jacks, but part two gonna deep dive
<v Speaker 2>in to tell And how crazy is it that? Like
<v Speaker 2>probably just as many of Hotel's as amount of figures
<v Speaker 2>we just talked about here.
<v Speaker 3>But there's probably a couple of extra odds and ends
<v Speaker 3>in there that you know, somebody weird bendy things that
<v Speaker 3>we'll talk about there.
<v Speaker 2>But there's a lot of like quality that needs to
<v Speaker 2>be discussed, you know, yeah, because motels hit a lot
<v Speaker 2>of home runs.
<v Speaker 3>All right, Well, for part one, we are okay.
