BIGFOOT ENCOUNTER AND EXPERIENCES WHILE CAMPING IN THE WILDERNESS IN OREGON STATE (EYE-SIGHTING)

<v Speaker 1>Hey everyone, and welcome to another Sasquatch Theory podcast. On
<v Speaker 1>this episode, we have Jim who had a bigfoot encounter
<v Speaker 1>from the state of Oregon. He was out there camping
<v Speaker 1>and he heard some strange noises and ended up seeing
<v Speaker 1>one of these creatures. He believes it was a sasquatch,
<v Speaker 1>and you often hear this a lot when people are
<v Speaker 1>out there in the wilderness camping. They have this strange,
<v Speaker 1>unknown creature approach their campsite, and what else could it
<v Speaker 1>be other than sasquatch. The activity that he described certainly
<v Speaker 1>does sound like sasquatch. I mean, what else would throw
<v Speaker 1>rocks and sound like a bull when it takes off running,
<v Speaker 1>and yeah, this is what they do. I know a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people say I'm going camping and we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>look for bigfoot, and a lot of times people just
<v Speaker 1>never run into these things. But I have heard stories
<v Speaker 1>where people go camping and they have success. So it's
<v Speaker 1>pretty much the right place, the right time, And I've
<v Speaker 1>done it a lot, Like I go to sasquatch hotspot
<v Speaker 1>areas and nothing ever happens, and then some people they
<v Speaker 1>go there and they experience all kinds of activity. I
<v Speaker 1>think it's pretty random, but you just never know what's
<v Speaker 1>going to happen. I was listening to a bigfoot encounter
<v Speaker 1>on the Bigfoot Society podcast and the guy was pretty
<v Speaker 1>much describing every single hot spot that I've ever found
<v Speaker 1>in Missouri, and he was just randomly camping at all
<v Speaker 1>these areas. So I feel like a lot of hunters
<v Speaker 1>accidentally go to all the best places, and that's exactly
<v Speaker 1>how it was for me. Whenever I was bow hunting,
<v Speaker 1>I just randomly happened to be in all the right
<v Speaker 1>places for bigfoot. And I think as a hunter, as
<v Speaker 1>a fisherman, or a camper who wants to get away
<v Speaker 1>from people, these are all the right places for sasquatch.

<v Speaker 1>our next bigfoot encounter from the State of Oregon. Hey, Jim,
<v Speaker 1>welcome to Sasquatch Theory. How are you doing today?
<v Speaker 2>Good? Really good good.
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad to hear that, and it's an absolute pleasure
<v Speaker 1>to have you on the show today. Jim, if you
<v Speaker 1>would tell us a little bit about yourself, where you're from,
<v Speaker 1>and your Bigfoot encounters and experiences from the very beginning.
<v Speaker 2>Please Okay, Well, I'm in San Diego, California. I was
<v Speaker 2>at the born East Coast, New London, Connecticut, but came
<v Speaker 2>out here at the early age, and I grew up
<v Speaker 2>mostly in southern California. So my bigfoot experience is quite
<v Speaker 2>some time ago, fifty fifty two years ago, but I
<v Speaker 2>think that it still has a lot of relevance with today.
<v Speaker 2>Hearing other people's stories and the similarities and things kind
<v Speaker 2>of brought me out to they want to tell my story.
<v Speaker 2>I'm private about things like that, not because I'm worried
<v Speaker 2>about people believing me. I definitely have a comfort in
<v Speaker 2>that I don't feel like I don't feel like I
<v Speaker 2>need anybody to believe anything I tell. So I you know,
<v Speaker 2>if if I share a story with somebody and they
<v Speaker 2>take what what they want from it, or if they
<v Speaker 2>totally didn't believe me, then you know, maybe it just
<v Speaker 2>didn't fit into their life right and it just wasn't
<v Speaker 2>a time for them to understand. So I know what
<v Speaker 2>happened to me without a doubt, and that's good enough
<v Speaker 2>for me. So I grew up with a father who
<v Speaker 2>is a chemistry professor, and so he taught nine months
<v Speaker 2>of the year, and he was a real mountain man,
<v Speaker 2>so three months of the year when he was well.
<v Speaker 2>When we were out school, we traveled in the mountains
<v Speaker 2>and all West coast. But I've been in all the
<v Speaker 2>mountains from Mexico up to Washington State. So I was
<v Speaker 2>blessed to you my growing years spend a ton of
<v Speaker 2>time in the mountains, and and this was years ago.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sixty six now. So I came up at a
<v Speaker 2>time when, you know, at twelve years old, I could
<v Speaker 2>pack a lunch and grab my fishing gear and take
<v Speaker 2>off and go by six miles into a lake and
<v Speaker 2>fish all day. And as long as I was home dinner,
<v Speaker 2>my parents didn't worry me too much, worry about me
<v Speaker 2>too much. And uh so it was a I feel
<v Speaker 2>like it was kind of an unspoiled time in the mountains,
<v Speaker 2>in the wilderness area. The fishing was great. And this
<v Speaker 2>isn't like that anymore. You know, you you can't stress
<v Speaker 2>young kids running around on their own, and it's really
<v Speaker 2>too bad. But we, uh, we were on our summer
<v Speaker 2>trip and had gone up up the coast, and we
<v Speaker 2>were at Gold Beach, Oregon, which is just right close
<v Speaker 2>to the road river there. And I was quite a fisherman.
<v Speaker 2>I'd fish on all of our trips and and I
<v Speaker 2>like when we'd stop at the salmon rivers and I'd
<v Speaker 2>get a chance throw out for some salmon. But we
<v Speaker 2>were at the Four Seasons. Are the resort, I guess
<v Speaker 2>it's uh what it's called. It it's still there today.
<v Speaker 2>I pulled it up on Google Maps, and I was
<v Speaker 2>amazed at the how much I remembered correctly the layouts
<v Speaker 2>and I can I identified the camps that we are
<v Speaker 2>in by by two spaces. I'm not exactly sure, but
<v Speaker 2>it it correlates with my story. And uh, let's see
<v Speaker 2>we trying to speak. I need to throw up any
<v Speaker 2>more background information.
<v Speaker 1>Where this was what state?
<v Speaker 2>Gold Beach Organ? Gold Beach Organ, Yeah, and it's the
<v Speaker 2>Four Seasons is on the road river, so you have
<v Speaker 2>you have some river beach front right there. Like I did.
<v Speaker 2>Walk from our campsite just quarter mile or something to
<v Speaker 2>the name riverword Dish and the campsites were set up.
<v Speaker 2>They have a sort of a general store, a camping store,
<v Speaker 2>and then The campsites were kind of in a line
<v Speaker 2>coming out away from the store, between the store and
<v Speaker 2>the highway and the side the camp brown we were in.
<v Speaker 2>There was not a lot of sites there. I think
<v Speaker 2>it's maybe like eight sites or so on that one side.
<v Speaker 2>They're pretty decent sized campsites. And we at the time
<v Speaker 2>my parents had them a home. That was the only
<v Speaker 2>way my father could get my mother to go out
<v Speaker 2>and get out in the mountains, and so you bought
<v Speaker 2>a motor home, and that's what we took every summer.
<v Speaker 2>But for my brother, I have a brother that's six
<v Speaker 2>years younger than me, and so my brother and I
<v Speaker 2>we slept outside out of the motor home, and we
<v Speaker 2>had a kiepee, an Indian kipie, and it played a
<v Speaker 2>big part in story. We had come up through scouts,
<v Speaker 2>Indian guides and cub Scouts and boy Scouts and everything,
<v Speaker 2>and in the early days my father was really active
<v Speaker 2>and all this with us, we had constructed this large
<v Speaker 2>Indian kiepie. I guess I wouldn't call it life side that.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, it was huge my brother and I but
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't hold the whole family unions, but it was The
<v Speaker 2>poles were like and you have diameter poles, and they
<v Speaker 2>were they were twelve feet long, and but I mean
<v Speaker 2>notite twelve. But anyhow, uh they were lashed together. Uh
<v Speaker 2>so yeah, the peepy poles were they were close to
<v Speaker 2>twelve feet long. Were We kept them on top of
<v Speaker 2>the motor home when we traveled. And and then the
<v Speaker 2>fabric for the kepu was at canvas that we rolled
<v Speaker 2>up in it. But it was you tuna was rolled
<v Speaker 2>rolled up together. But we would you know, we'd rolled
<v Speaker 2>that out around the the teepee stakes and in the
<v Speaker 2>door way was authentic like you see an Indian teeth.
<v Speaker 2>It was a round hole and it had a flap.
<v Speaker 2>It was sort of a D shaped thing with a
<v Speaker 2>stick across the top, and so it was attached. The
<v Speaker 2>stick was attached to the tent and it got just
<v Speaker 2>hung down over the round shaped hole and so and
<v Speaker 2>then at the top it the camps kind of folded back.
<v Speaker 2>That that did so there was an opening up the
<v Speaker 2>top or the sticks gathered together, and so you could
<v Speaker 2>actually have a fire inside and the smoke would get
<v Speaker 2>out and everything. So we'd throw a ground tart down
<v Speaker 2>and you set it up. And that's when my brother
<v Speaker 2>and I slept at every stop we made, we'd like
<v Speaker 2>to be outside, and it was a lot of protection
<v Speaker 2>from the weather and even rain. And so we had
<v Speaker 2>that set up there at its four seasons, and then
<v Speaker 2>over home was off a little last, you know, in
<v Speaker 2>our camp spot there. And so one night we went
<v Speaker 2>to bed and had had gone to sleep, and I
<v Speaker 2>was awakened by footsteps. I was hearing footsteps. And I'm
<v Speaker 2>a pretty like sleeper anyway, I always had a difficult
<v Speaker 2>time and I'm camping sleeping because I hear all the
<v Speaker 2>animals and I hear everything, and so yeah, I didn't
<v Speaker 2>sleep really well when we were outside a lot. So
<v Speaker 2>I hear these footsteps, and right away I'm certainly not
<v Speaker 2>it's a biped that these are. This is something with
<v Speaker 2>two legs walking, not everything, any dear or anything there
<v Speaker 2>close by the campsite anyway. So and and the step
<v Speaker 2>seemed kind of carefully placed. It wasn't just a normal
<v Speaker 2>walking pace. It was slow and deliberate. And the ground
<v Speaker 2>on all these campsites it was gravel, and so you know,
<v Speaker 2>when you stepping gravel, you kind of get that that
<v Speaker 2>chink noise, you know, gravel crashes together a little bit so, uh,
<v Speaker 2>it's my impression was that this person I thought it was,
<v Speaker 2>was trying to be quiet and and this was you know,
<v Speaker 2>maybe tune them or something, not the time that somebody
<v Speaker 2>would be walking around, and especially walking like in your campsite.
<v Speaker 2>You know, there's there's some etiquette and I guess people
<v Speaker 2>probably nobody, you know, there's no boxing some of these campsite,
<v Speaker 2>you know, the night. And I think I was conscious,
<v Speaker 2>pretty conscious of the two because we were big bike
<v Speaker 2>riders of family, and we had some good bikes and
<v Speaker 2>we made a trip to the Marine Headlands where mountain
<v Speaker 2>biking was born and uh recently to this and my
<v Speaker 2>bike was stolen up there, so you know, I had,
<v Speaker 2>I knew another bike that was really expensive, and so
<v Speaker 2>I was concerned. I'm like, oh my god, somebody's out
<v Speaker 2>there chasing the campsite. You know, my bike's out there
<v Speaker 2>and stuff, and it was locked up. But you know,
<v Speaker 2>I just was concerned if I heard this person walking
<v Speaker 2>around and they weren't, they didn't stay just in our campsite.
<v Speaker 2>I heard them walk down farther to the campsites next
<v Speaker 2>to us, and there was between us and the store
<v Speaker 2>was five campsites or something eighty six, and I could
<v Speaker 2>hear them walk all the way to the end. It
<v Speaker 2>seemed like I never lost track of them and their footsteps.
<v Speaker 2>By the time they got down to the end and
<v Speaker 2>turned around and started heading back toward us, I heard
<v Speaker 2>them the whole time. So I'm thinking about what to do,
<v Speaker 2>you know. I I'm thinking that this person had walked
<v Speaker 2>past all these camps. I used to see what people
<v Speaker 2>had out and you know what what they might go for.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm wanting I'm like fourteen and he's thirteen, so
<v Speaker 2>and I'm not a big guy, and I was I
<v Speaker 2>was very concerned about it. So uh, I hear I
<v Speaker 2>hear them coming back toward us again and uh and
<v Speaker 2>as they get close, uh they walk up right to
<v Speaker 2>the backside of our teethee and stop. And uh so
<v Speaker 2>now my heart's I just I'm like, come, we got
<v Speaker 2>to hear this, And uh, I have I had a
<v Speaker 2>flash light, you know back in the day where you
<v Speaker 2>had those big square flashlights and you put that big
<v Speaker 2>square battery in it, and uh, you know you got
<v Speaker 2>to you got a pretty good bean out of it
<v Speaker 2>if the battery was fresh. So I located that and
<v Speaker 2>I had it right there next to me. But uh,
<v Speaker 2>but they're they're on the back side of the tepee
<v Speaker 2>and the only way out of the tpe is through
<v Speaker 2>the round door and uh, which is raised up a
<v Speaker 2>little bit, you know for whether and everything, just like
<v Speaker 2>the Indians did it. And uh and I'm in my
<v Speaker 2>my down sleeping bag, which uh, you know, isn't that
<v Speaker 2>quiet when you're trying to move around and get out
<v Speaker 2>of it makes that that zipping out nine line noise.
<v Speaker 2>And it was a quiet night, I remember it was
<v Speaker 2>really quiet. He would hear everything, so I was really
<v Speaker 2>afraid to just even move And and the next thing
<v Speaker 2>I know, Uh, there was a chick in the gravel
<v Speaker 2>in the ground and the gravel flew up onto the
<v Speaker 2>the side of the teepee and uh and it hit
<v Speaker 2>and then it trickled down to the ground. It just
<v Speaker 2>ran down the you know, this slanted side of the
<v Speaker 2>teepee and and I thought, that's my weird was that?
<v Speaker 2>And and then they have it again and uh, so
<v Speaker 2>my mind's racing and I'm thinking, well, maybe you know,
<v Speaker 2>to see he's gonna get a reaction, you know, some
<v Speaker 2>big who's in this this tent and uh and uh,
<v Speaker 2>maybe you know the sound sleepers are, you know, before
<v Speaker 2>he steals something's going to see if we wake up.
<v Speaker 2>And so so this went on for a little bit. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>it'd be it there'd be a kick in the gravel
<v Speaker 2>right at the base of the teepee and the gravel
<v Speaker 2>would fly up. I don't know, it seemed like three
<v Speaker 2>feet eaten four and uh and then it would all
<v Speaker 2>trickle back down to the ground and uh, and I'm
<v Speaker 2>looking at my brother get asleep. Yeah, I'm looking up
<v Speaker 2>or anything. And uh So then after this had gone
<v Speaker 2>on for a little bit, it turned around and walked
<v Speaker 2>back again, uh, towards the store, the same way it
<v Speaker 2>had been previously. And uh and it was just kind
<v Speaker 2>of the same thing again. It walked deliberately slowly, and
<v Speaker 2>I could hear it clearer to the distance about to
<v Speaker 2>the store. And then they were positives along the way,
<v Speaker 2>which I envisioned, you know, figuring out what they might
<v Speaker 2>take or something. And then it came back. They came
<v Speaker 2>back and again back of the teepee, kicking the gravel
<v Speaker 2>and and it's just really weird. And so I had
<v Speaker 2>a little time to to get somewhat comfortable with things.
<v Speaker 2>And after a little bit walked away again the same
<v Speaker 2>thing back toward the store, and I thought, okay, I
<v Speaker 2>got to figure out this was up. So hm when
<v Speaker 2>it would get the partest away from me where I
<v Speaker 2>actually sill could hear it. It was the ways of way,
<v Speaker 2>so the steps should break quiet. So I took that
<v Speaker 2>moment to unzit my bag and get out and uh
<v Speaker 2>get my light. And I positioned myself over by the
<v Speaker 2>doorway of the teethee. And you know, when you go
<v Speaker 2>out that round hole, you have to push the flap
<v Speaker 2>away from you and then it falls back over the hole.
<v Speaker 2>So I got myself off set the best I could,
<v Speaker 2>so I could just bolt out that that hole real
<v Speaker 2>quick with my flashlight, hit the beam and write them up.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I'll see what the hell's going on here.
<v Speaker 2>And so sure enough, you know you're right this. Footsteps
<v Speaker 2>are coming back now and it's like the third time
<v Speaker 2>and and then there stopped right the back of teepee
<v Speaker 2>and started kicking the gravelly again. So so I'm already
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna like again, I'm done with this. We're going
<v Speaker 2>to figure out let's this is. So I hit the
<v Speaker 2>flatl with my arm, jumped out, spun around, turned on
<v Speaker 2>the flashlight, shined it there at the back of the TV,
<v Speaker 2>and I see an arm, an arm, a shoulder and
<v Speaker 2>kind of a side. And the first thing I realized
<v Speaker 2>the lucky that the light beam was kind of big,
<v Speaker 2>because you know, I shined it straight back at human
<v Speaker 2>heights and that arm is way up high, and it's
<v Speaker 2>straight out perpendicular to the body. I can just see
<v Speaker 2>a little bit of and it's holding a tree that
<v Speaker 2>was right there, a little tree. So it's it's sort
<v Speaker 2>of like you know if you stop to a tree
<v Speaker 2>and you reached out and put your hand around the
<v Speaker 2>sapling and sort of stabilize yourself and and and stood there.
<v Speaker 2>So apparently it was holding the tree to steady itself
<v Speaker 2>while it kicked the gravel up onto the teepee. But
<v Speaker 2>I never saw a face. It kept the teepee between
<v Speaker 2>you know, it was directly on the other side and
<v Speaker 2>this big tall keepie it was. It was tall enough
<v Speaker 2>to hide the head. But I I envisioned the arm,
<v Speaker 2>you know, And the next day when it was lighting stuff,
<v Speaker 2>I looked at where it was in the tree and stuff,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, the arm was like eight feet in
<v Speaker 2>the air, and it was it was way up there.
<v Speaker 2>And as far as the color goes, it was it
<v Speaker 2>was kind of trippy. I didn't see like this black
<v Speaker 2>hairy arm like ither people talk about, or even brown hairy.
<v Speaker 2>What I saw was, you know, at night time, when
<v Speaker 2>you shine a bright light on something, especially it's something
<v Speaker 2>a little shiny, you light it up, you can see
<v Speaker 2>the color of it, but it also makes it look
<v Speaker 2>kind of white. And it's just it's the white being
<v Speaker 2>hitting whatever and kind of makes it look white. So
<v Speaker 2>it had a it had a light looking color to it,
<v Speaker 2>but I can see that behind that it was the
<v Speaker 2>it was the the beam of the light, and it
<v Speaker 2>was it was darker. And uh, and and describe me
<v Speaker 2>a little better what was along the back of the
<v Speaker 2>campsites there. It was a kind of a hedgerow and
<v Speaker 2>there were buried bushes, berries thick. We picked berries every day,
<v Speaker 2>and uh, and trees and just just to the other
<v Speaker 2>side of this this line, this headgerow and buried bushes
<v Speaker 2>and the a few trees, a lot of trees. Actually
<v Speaker 2>there was a dry creek bed, so you could go
<v Speaker 2>out this backside of our campsite and and jump down
<v Speaker 2>and uh, it was it was six feet down or something.
<v Speaker 2>The creek was down the ways and it was it
<v Speaker 2>was a stray drop where the water had roded away
<v Speaker 2>there and uh uh, this creek bed it is a
<v Speaker 2>tributary to the Rogue River there, and it it went
<v Speaker 2>all the way down and opened up on the Rogue River.
<v Speaker 2>And that's the way I sometimetimes went fish and I'd
<v Speaker 2>walked down through there and the bottom of it, which
<v Speaker 2>just sand, sandy gravel. It was almost kind of beachy,
<v Speaker 2>and so that's the terrain. So going back to the
<v Speaker 2>story and what happened. And there's this arm and it's
<v Speaker 2>right there and I'm looking at it, and uh, not
<v Speaker 2>very very long. This all happened very quick. But all
<v Speaker 2>of a sudden, this the the vines and bushes, the
<v Speaker 2>hedgerow there, it was between us and the drop to
<v Speaker 2>the creek bed. It exploded. I mean it literally just
<v Speaker 2>like a bomb went off and it just blew up.
<v Speaker 2>When I saw leaves and stuff just wham all over
<v Speaker 2>the place, and it made quite a racket and and
<v Speaker 2>it jumped down and what it did, it just went
<v Speaker 2>straight through this stuff and landed into the creek bed below.
<v Speaker 2>And then I could hear it running off toward the
<v Speaker 2>road river and I ran over to the motor home
<v Speaker 2>was scared shitless. The only thing I knew about Bigfoot
<v Speaker 2>was and boy scouts some of our hikes where we
<v Speaker 2>sit around the night campire and people tell some dumb stories,
<v Speaker 2>you know, and they're usually trying to make them scary
<v Speaker 2>and stuff. And I heard Bigfoot, but I never read anything.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't know nothing about Bigfoot. And uh so when
<v Speaker 2>I when I saw what I saw, it was a
<v Speaker 2>shocking and uh so I'm beating on the motor home
<v Speaker 2>door and and I can still hear it running off
<v Speaker 2>down the creek dead and my mother opens the door,
<v Speaker 2>and uh. I gave her the the universal be quiet
<v Speaker 2>and sign and uh and I listened and I could
<v Speaker 2>hear it, you know, chump, chump up, uh as the
<v Speaker 2>footsteps we're baiting off down the creek. I knew the
<v Speaker 2>direction the creek, bad wind, and I got the tellos
<v Speaker 2>running that direction and uh and then it stopped quite
<v Speaker 2>a ways the way down. For there I was almost
<v Speaker 2>not hearing the steps anymore. And then it yelled, I
<v Speaker 2>don't know whatever you would call it. It was this street.
<v Speaker 2>It was unbelievable, like nothing i'd ever heard it was.
<v Speaker 2>It was a call for one call that lasted you know, seconds,
<v Speaker 2>but but but three or four, you know, which was
<v Speaker 2>pretty long actually, and uh and it sounded it sounded
<v Speaker 2>like kind of like a primate or something. It's the
<v Speaker 2>best description I can give it, you know, I did.
<v Speaker 2>It didn't sound like anything at her the chores and uh.
<v Speaker 2>And after that call, I didn't hear anymore, and I
<v Speaker 2>was I was done sleeping outside. I was not going
<v Speaker 2>to be out there. So I got the motor home
<v Speaker 2>and so I started telling my mom, you know what
<v Speaker 2>I saw, and uh, my mom, she uh, she pretty
<v Speaker 2>much only believed in what was in textbooks in school.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, pretty straight forward and up and up. You know.
<v Speaker 2>She didn't have a lot of room in her belief
<v Speaker 2>for anything that was uh uh just different. And uh
<v Speaker 2>but I pushed her on, that's this is the yell
<v Speaker 2>because she heard it. It's right there. She heard it
<v Speaker 2>just as good as I could. And uh, you know,
<v Speaker 2>and I said, well, was that you know, well you
<v Speaker 2>think that was? And she came up with something it
<v Speaker 2>was like some it was some ducks in the gears
<v Speaker 2>something I'm telling Yeah, okay, yeah, that's pretty much sound
<v Speaker 2>like gears. And so that was the two animals that
<v Speaker 2>came to her head first. So that's where she came
<v Speaker 2>up with it. And she never would waiver, you know,
<v Speaker 2>she she didn't believe his acid and uh that that
<v Speaker 2>she had heard that it was box or something. So
<v Speaker 2>I the next day I went, I went out, uh
<v Speaker 2>to see what I could find in the creek. Did
<v Speaker 2>and unfortunately it was it was bone dry with any
<v Speaker 2>water in it. And it pretty much looked like the beach.
<v Speaker 2>It was just like a dense in the sand. And
<v Speaker 2>none of them stood out beyond the others. They just
<v Speaker 2>all but pretty much the same. So I wasn't able
<v Speaker 2>to be beyond where the bush had gotten exploded on. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>it wasn't torn up as dad as as it looked.

<v Speaker 2>some some reading and some research, and we got home
<v Speaker 2>from our trip, and UH, and I discovered that the
<v Speaker 2>Rogue River in that area and stuff in that wide area.
<v Speaker 2>It was sort of at that time at least. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know about now, but it was a hotbed
<v Speaker 2>for bigfoot reports and things. Definitely had been a good
<v Speaker 2>amount of other things that had happened right there in
<v Speaker 2>that area. And I even found at the time, and
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what it was. I didn't say, but
<v Speaker 2>I did find something. It was a publication that named
<v Speaker 2>the four Seasons were right there we were and uh
<v Speaker 2>involved with another big foot say, so that was that,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I'd never that was my first there's something
<v Speaker 2>like that. And I've always kind of had an attitude,
<v Speaker 2>uh that I don't I don't say that. I'm pretty
<v Speaker 2>much open for anything can happen. If it's if it's
<v Speaker 2>my experience, I believe it. And if it's not my experience,
<v Speaker 2>I'm not going to say it doesn't exist. I've never
<v Speaker 2>seen a UFO, but I'm pretty sure they're they're and uh,
<v Speaker 2>but I've definitely seen Bigfoot, and I wish i'd seen better.
<v Speaker 2>I wish i'd seen his face, and I wish i'd
<v Speaker 2>run out to the side. You know, I've went through
<v Speaker 2>this in my head and how many times afterward, you know,
<v Speaker 2>if I could have angled in and seen him better.
<v Speaker 2>But I was scared my age and it's a big
<v Speaker 2>creature and everything is scared the crap out of me.
<v Speaker 2>So and I didn't for a few years, still going
<v Speaker 2>camping with my parents, I would not sleep outside. I
<v Speaker 2>slept in the room after that. So that was that
<v Speaker 2>was my big experience. I haven't I haven't had anymore
<v Speaker 2>except I've had I have had some experiences in more
<v Speaker 2>recent years. And as I hear other people explaining things
<v Speaker 2>that happened to them my real life's, wow, that happened
<v Speaker 2>to me too, and I just didn't haven't thoughted out
<v Speaker 2>it isn't necessarily being bigfoot. I just didn't know what
<v Speaker 2>it was, or definitely strange things that were happening, and
<v Speaker 2>like rocks thrown at me and stuff, and when there's
<v Speaker 2>nobody else out and I know there's nobody else out,
<v Speaker 2>and uh, there's these rocks flying over my head and
<v Speaker 2>man on the ground right in front of me, and
<v Speaker 2>and then you know, trickling out ahead of me. And
<v Speaker 2>I've had experience a number of times in another place
<v Speaker 2>that we lived, and I used to it was just
<v Speaker 2>amazed because the trajectory had these rocks and they're like
<v Speaker 2>they were like smaller than a golf ball. They were
<v Speaker 2>like they're like the sizes of the of the as
<v Speaker 2>the marbles you played with your kids, the smaller ones
<v Speaker 2>than even some of the bigger ones. But they would,
<v Speaker 2>uh as they as they came over my head and
<v Speaker 2>hit the ground, they were dropping my closest straight down,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm thinking, and I'm close in front of me too,
<v Speaker 2>and uh, you know when I when I thought about it,
<v Speaker 2>and they had to travel some distance too, because it
<v Speaker 2>was open around where I was when this is happening,
<v Speaker 2>so they were not coming from anywhere close. And I
<v Speaker 2>was thinking of just something being able to or someone
<v Speaker 2>have the control to throw a rock and bringing in,
<v Speaker 2>you know, on a traject on a long distance, but
<v Speaker 2>didn't drop it right in front of me. That's some
<v Speaker 2>amazing throwing. I mean, I played baseball for twenty five
<v Speaker 2>beers and I'm not sure I could have done it
<v Speaker 2>that well. And you know, you could also tell by
<v Speaker 2>if the rock hits and skitters out quite a ways,
<v Speaker 2>you know, you know, that was a long arc, and
<v Speaker 2>if it hits and just bounces a few times, that
<v Speaker 2>thing was coming straight down. So yeah, uh, there definitely
<v Speaker 2>are things out there, and I enjoy hearing other people's
<v Speaker 2>experiences too.
<v Speaker 1>Could anybody else see the creature whenever you hit it
<v Speaker 1>with the light or was it just you that caught
<v Speaker 1>a glimpse?
<v Speaker 2>Just me? And my brother never woke up through any
<v Speaker 2>of that, even when I ripped outside and did my thing,
<v Speaker 2>and and and and when I was beating on the
<v Speaker 2>other room. He never woke up. Next morning, was like
<v Speaker 2>what I didn't hear?
<v Speaker 1>So was it a large creature or was it little?
<v Speaker 2>It was large. This arm that I saw was large.
<v Speaker 2>It was not skinny, And it was shocking that it
<v Speaker 2>was that high up in the tree. You know, a
<v Speaker 2>normal man could not put his arms straight out from
<v Speaker 2>his shoulder and grab a tree, you know there, And yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it was it was big.
<v Speaker 1>Good. Do you think they were trying to intimidate you
<v Speaker 1>guys whenever they were kicking rocks.
<v Speaker 2>At the tent? No, you know, I'm I got my
<v Speaker 2>I sense things very well and with people and the animals.
<v Speaker 2>I rescue wolves, and I do well with him. I
<v Speaker 2>had a h childhood. My father was amazing the man.
<v Speaker 2>He was unbelievable, and my mother didn't like me. So
<v Speaker 2>my father was gone for projects, big things he did.
<v Speaker 2>He he was at JPL Jeerotion Galvatories. He designed their
<v Speaker 2>whole has in that protocols, the SLPs, how they handle
<v Speaker 2>their exotic materials and chemicals and disposed of it. So
<v Speaker 2>he was doing stuff like that that he has not specialists.
<v Speaker 2>And he also worked with these Einstein kids that you know,
<v Speaker 2>start going to college and taking chemistry when they're eight
<v Speaker 2>years old. And he was instrumental in developing funding for
<v Speaker 2>these kids because you know, if you get to college,
<v Speaker 2>you've got opportunities for grant for school loans and stuff
<v Speaker 2>like that. Well, if you're a six year old, seven
<v Speaker 2>you old kid you want to go to college and
<v Speaker 2>you come from a modest family, there's nothing to help
<v Speaker 2>you with that. And it's surprising how many smart kids
<v Speaker 2>are out there. And my father was very hooked in
<v Speaker 2>with that. So he helped develop funding for the kids
<v Speaker 2>and stuff. And that took up years. That took him years,
<v Speaker 2>and he was He put in thirty five years at
<v Speaker 2>Southwestern College here and he is. I saw him with
<v Speaker 2>his students and stuff. He was. They loved him. He
<v Speaker 2>was that was his life. He was devoted to helping
<v Speaker 2>people and you know, improve their lives and it kept
<v Speaker 2>them away a lot and so my mom didn't particularly
<v Speaker 2>want to watch me and stuff, so she'd tell me
<v Speaker 2>I'd done something bad, put me in my room and
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't come out. So I was shut in my
<v Speaker 2>room a lot. And yeah it wasn't good, but I
<v Speaker 2>would could it helped me with my senses and stuff
<v Speaker 2>and then what I developed and within myself because you know,
<v Speaker 2>when I was a kid, we didn't have game boys
<v Speaker 2>and stuff like that be busy and and kids didn't
<v Speaker 2>have TVs even in the room. So all I had
<v Speaker 2>was a little two shelf bookshelf, and I'd try to
<v Speaker 2>colleck some books. So my mom shut me in my room,
<v Speaker 2>like perhaps some books to read, and but there was
<v Speaker 2>a lot of hours I just lay in my bed
<v Speaker 2>and I would listen for the farthest away noise that
<v Speaker 2>I could hear, and then I would focus on it
<v Speaker 2>and I try to figure out what it was and
<v Speaker 2>what is it doing or what are they doing? Or
<v Speaker 2>you know, I would come up with this whole story.
<v Speaker 2>It was what I thought, this noise miles away was
<v Speaker 2>always being created and stuff. So yeah, I was I
<v Speaker 2>was pretty sensitive. I could pick up stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think the sasquatch were attracted to the tpe structure.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I never I'm I guess I'm fifty percent
<v Speaker 2>on that. I never thought that way, but I could
<v Speaker 2>see where yeah, you know, they could maybe have some
<v Speaker 2>comfort with something that maybe they remember been passed down
<v Speaker 2>and they've seen or you know, researchers.
<v Speaker 1>I've found tepee structures out in the woods all over
<v Speaker 1>North America.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, something, Yes, And that's another thing I've as much
<v Speaker 2>as I've been out, I've seen structures and stuff like
<v Speaker 2>I've seen in your pictures and things. And I always thought,
<v Speaker 2>you know, some kids did them or something. I never
<v Speaker 2>ever thought some you know, somebody else did it. But
<v Speaker 2>I remember thinking, you know, i'd be having some way
<v Speaker 2>out in nowhere, and I'm thinking, aren't these kids tilt
<v Speaker 2>this ship or toy go? You know, and and yeah,
<v Speaker 2>hang out. The fact that you're talking about, it's it's there.
<v Speaker 1>So did the vocalizations like the sounds you heard, did
<v Speaker 1>that happen that same night?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? Yeah, that was the one call that I said,
<v Speaker 2>I heard he after he now exploded through the bushes
<v Speaker 2>to get away from me. And then it was running
<v Speaker 2>down via creek bed and it had a curve to
<v Speaker 2>and stuff and I could clearly tell that's what he
<v Speaker 2>was doing. And just about the time I couldn't quite
<v Speaker 2>hear his footsteps anymore. There is running, jogging steps or whatever,
<v Speaker 2>because he pretty much I think he'd got into the river.
<v Speaker 2>That's I didn't hear steps anymore. And then wham, that's
<v Speaker 2>calling out.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah that interesting. And you said there's been bigfoot reports
<v Speaker 1>there in the past.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, it's very foresty river and there's big tracks
<v Speaker 2>you know, they go way way way back, so there's
<v Speaker 2>there's a ton of mountain wilderness up there.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And yeah, for some reason, Uh, when I did start
<v Speaker 2>checking to try to find out what I what I
<v Speaker 2>really saw it was, I was looking at stuff that
<v Speaker 2>was coming from that that area based around there, and
<v Speaker 2>there's definitely things going on.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah for sure. And what do you think these
<v Speaker 1>creatures are? And do you think they're dangerous?
<v Speaker 2>You know, I have trouble with that. Obviously, they're way
<v Speaker 2>strong or not and to whatever they want. I I
<v Speaker 2>don't know. I you know, I like people. I guess
<v Speaker 2>I think they could be some some kind of mischievous
<v Speaker 2>or bad guys or you know, it might ness with
<v Speaker 2>him stuff, But inherently I don't I don't think that's
<v Speaker 2>a part of the personality.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I agree. Could you smell anything when these creatures
<v Speaker 1>were around?
<v Speaker 2>No? Yeah, I I That was another thing that I
<v Speaker 2>have thought about, because well, walking back and forth through
<v Speaker 2>the campsites there that went on for twenty minutes or
<v Speaker 2>something at least, and I never smelled anything. I wasn't
<v Speaker 2>thinking about smelling because I didn't even know that they stunk,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I knew nothing at the Bigfoot and but no,
<v Speaker 2>I did not notice an odor.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, And did you find any tracks or anything the
<v Speaker 1>next day?
<v Speaker 2>No? No, it was just too Uh the creek bed
<v Speaker 2>was like I was saying, it was just too much
<v Speaker 2>like the beach. It just had a bunch of begins
<v Speaker 2>in it, and there was no definition in anything. It
<v Speaker 2>was totally dry, and you know, it wasn't it wasn't
<v Speaker 2>anything any stratus there that would hold any kind of
<v Speaker 2>edges or or carrier print.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, yeah, all right, do you have any more encounters
<v Speaker 1>or anything you'd like to add?
<v Speaker 2>You know, I'll ask you have you heard well your
<v Speaker 2>way back and there aren't you we lived. There's mountains
<v Speaker 2>up around Los Angeles. Uh, there's a popular area called
<v Speaker 2>Big Bear and it's ski resorts and there's definitely been
<v Speaker 2>the big put sightings up there in the mountains and stuff.
<v Speaker 2>And we had a house up there, and back up
<v Speaker 2>before that house, we lived farther north, and there's farther
<v Speaker 2>north of the l A there's a large high desert area.
<v Speaker 2>That's where Edward's Air Force Base is and where the
<v Speaker 2>Space Shuttle used to come in and they the West
<v Speaker 2>Coast landings they landed Edwards. And also there's a lot
<v Speaker 2>of airstrips up there on the high desert that are
<v Speaker 2>very unidentified. There's there's nothing for markings, and you see
<v Speaker 2>a few hangars and there's there's underground facilities and you
<v Speaker 2>give stories about it and stuff. But living up there,
<v Speaker 2>but we did. There's a there's a mountain called Mountain
<v Speaker 2>Baldy because it's it's very barren on top, and about
<v Speaker 2>ten thousand years ago there was an outfall. A big
<v Speaker 2>section of Baldy slid off and slid out and stopped
<v Speaker 2>pre level pretty flat, so it neede this plateau that
<v Speaker 2>people you know, you can build houses on it. Now
<v Speaker 2>it's very u stable and I mean, yeah, this is
<v Speaker 2>long many years ago. So people started putting houses up there,
<v Speaker 2>and we had a place up there, and the elevation
<v Speaker 2>is forty five hundred foot and at the at the
<v Speaker 2>edge of where this outfall slid out, it drops off
<v Speaker 2>really sharply and steeped to the high desert out toward
<v Speaker 2>Edwards Air Force Base, and we were on the kind
<v Speaker 2>of the lower edge. So we had this unbelievable view.
<v Speaker 2>The city won't make any it won't mean anything to you,
<v Speaker 2>but it was. We could see a Pantera in the
<v Speaker 2>view that was over two hundred miles from where we were.
<v Speaker 2>And so we watched these in same light and storms
<v Speaker 2>rolling and you know, see different things. And but there
<v Speaker 2>was there was a couple of uh there's some air
<v Speaker 2>strips and there's a couple of buildings right straight below
<v Speaker 2>us out on the desert. And I built research laboratories
<v Speaker 2>the last part of my career here in San Diego,
<v Speaker 2>UH in biotech industry and uh uh so I was
<v Speaker 2>very involved with the science research. And I did some
<v Speaker 2>biohazard labs where the containments is critical, and so we
<v Speaker 2>had special equipment to wash the air that comes out
<v Speaker 2>of these labs. What what we've exhausted out the roof
<v Speaker 2>from a few moods and stuff would go through. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>these these air handlers that they are called air scrubbers,
<v Speaker 2>and so we put air scrubbers on the roof and
<v Speaker 2>you just had to make sure this equipment, to make
<v Speaker 2>sure that we didn't put any harmful barbecules out into
<v Speaker 2>the air. And here's these two buildings right up below us,
<v Speaker 2>and the roosts are covered with air scrubbers. And and
<v Speaker 2>I knew, I knew the volume of air that a
<v Speaker 2>normal air scrubber would handle. And I'm seeing these buildings
<v Speaker 2>and I'm thinking, why didn't they have the roofs almost
<v Speaker 2>solid air scrubbers. It didn't make any sense to me.
<v Speaker 2>And and as we were down there, we found out
<v Speaker 2>that there was Skunkworks. We were with skunk Works where
<v Speaker 2>they developed you know, the stealth fighters and all that. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>it was like the closest thing to us. It was
<v Speaker 2>straight up in front of us. So we had a
<v Speaker 2>bird's idea of Skunkworks. And there's a lot of testing
<v Speaker 2>up there of aircraft, you know, it's being developed. That's
<v Speaker 2>where they tested the stealth planes and stuff. And I've
<v Speaker 2>seen some very strange things. Was playing with crafts and
<v Speaker 2>that you know, they don't exist. I mean, I don't
<v Speaker 2>you know, there's nothing out there in the printed knowledge
<v Speaker 2>that explains the stuff I was seeing. And uh, but
<v Speaker 2>I just got a lot of track too. Do you
<v Speaker 2>hear things you know of crypti or things in high
<v Speaker 2>desert areas like that, you know, or more forest dwellers,
<v Speaker 2>I guess is what I'm asking, because there as far
<v Speaker 2>as the fauna there where we lived, there was it was.
<v Speaker 2>It hadn't named Juniper Hills because there's a lot of
<v Speaker 2>Dumi pertruity trees there and because it was high desert
<v Speaker 2>and the properties of the airbs and everything else there
<v Speaker 2>was there was no trees taller than twenty five feet,
<v Speaker 2>so it's not forested in that sense. But you got
<v Speaker 2>a lot of brush and and the brush can get
<v Speaker 2>ten feet tall and stuff, and there's a lot of
<v Speaker 2>that out there, and there was definitely things happened out there.
<v Speaker 2>And I had thought that somebody that was an outdoors
<v Speaker 2>and then like a really good outdoors and then ah,
<v Speaker 2>it picks me somehow because you get you get out
<v Speaker 2>these really rural places, you get some pretty strange people.
<v Speaker 2>I mean they're there because they want to be, you know,
<v Speaker 2>A wayte from everybody, and I thought that somebody had
<v Speaker 2>maybe picked me and was doing things because they knew
<v Speaker 2>from my reactions. I knew they were there. And my
<v Speaker 2>my wife was pretty much a blessed regard. Was he
<v Speaker 2>oblivious to things that were going on around me. And
<v Speaker 2>I never asked and I didn't point them out. They
<v Speaker 2>don't want to scare her. But there there was something
<v Speaker 2>or something. They would do things and like and even
<v Speaker 2>when I would be in the shower, something it would
<v Speaker 2>just once, not that it didn't happen a lot of times.
<v Speaker 2>It didn't even happen five times, but something took us.
<v Speaker 2>It would take a stick and hit my window my shower.
<v Speaker 2>But the times it did it always did it right
<v Speaker 2>after I got in a shower, so I couldn't go
<v Speaker 2>bowling back outside. But something, you know, went by my
<v Speaker 2>window and hit it, and I knew it wasn't just
<v Speaker 2>so interesting because they hit it several times and the
<v Speaker 2>wind can't do that, you know, And and I just
<v Speaker 2>felt like they were sending me signals there doing stuff
<v Speaker 2>that it can't happen naturally, And like these rocks. This
<v Speaker 2>is where the rocks were landing around me and my
<v Speaker 2>wife and I would go visit. We had a neighbor,
<v Speaker 2>an age a mile away or so, and we walk
<v Speaker 2>over there. Something tonight I caldn't believe my wife, and
<v Speaker 2>there were steadying thing because these rocks are like the
<v Speaker 2>ring sometimes, I mean wap, they need landing all around it.
<v Speaker 2>And I didn't say nothing, but you know, I mean
<v Speaker 2>I was adderating a little bit, but quiet few and
<v Speaker 2>and then I somebody was saying something about bigfoot turning
<v Speaker 2>on their their closet, turning the water on and off,
<v Speaker 2>and uh uh where we had a cabin right on
<v Speaker 2>the edge of the cliffs there, we had an outbuilding
<v Speaker 2>that the person Regine built the cabin. It built this
<v Speaker 2>little shed thing that was uh wouldn't be used anymore
<v Speaker 2>as I'll dry up and falling down. But it had
<v Speaker 2>water out to it. And there was a sticket up
<v Speaker 2>there and from inside the house, from the windows, you
<v Speaker 2>couldn't see the sticket because it was around the corner
<v Speaker 2>on the building. And I would hear that sticket all
<v Speaker 2>hours day and night. I would hear it turning on
<v Speaker 2>and off because the water came through our house and
<v Speaker 2>so and you know have stickts squeak, you know some
<v Speaker 2>of them. It turned in it squeaks, and that squeak
<v Speaker 2>carries to the pipes, and so I'd hear it turned
<v Speaker 2>on and off, and so that really caught my attention
<v Speaker 2>and said they had a big foot that was messing
<v Speaker 2>up their stick it outside.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I've heard that before.
<v Speaker 2>M Yeah, because to me, that's that was That's why
<v Speaker 2>I thought maybe this was, you know, some kind of
<v Speaker 2>outdoors went out there that was because that's a signal.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, there's no purpose in turning it sticking on
<v Speaker 2>and off and uh. And it you know, of course
<v Speaker 2>I don't have anyway knowing if it did it, if
<v Speaker 2>it happened when I wasn't home, but you know, when
<v Speaker 2>i'm when i'm they're home, and it's and it's quiet,
<v Speaker 2>like my wife's gone or something, and things are all quiet.
<v Speaker 2>So at the time you could hear the water move
<v Speaker 2>through the pipes. I hear it go on and off
<v Speaker 2>and on and uh. And so there were a few
<v Speaker 2>times that you know, I got by the door and
<v Speaker 2>bolted out to the shed and I never saw nothing
<v Speaker 2>but the ground wet, you know, definitely was on. But
<v Speaker 2>that was in the royal there wait up the mountain,
<v Speaker 2>and there's a lot of big bushes and stuff, and
<v Speaker 2>whatever was doing it. You know, they got a big
<v Speaker 2>jump on me, and you know, I and see anything.
<v Speaker 2>But I would also notice that when I was out
<v Speaker 2>hiking there, I would hear footsteps like I was being trailed.
<v Speaker 2>They wouldn't even be that far away. But there's so
<v Speaker 2>many of these these uh gosh, I don't know kind
<v Speaker 2>of what they're JUNI for bushes and stuff, but then
<v Speaker 2>they solid bush structure. You can't see through them, and
<v Speaker 2>they're they're all over up there, and so you're when
<v Speaker 2>you go out across the country, your constant, but you
<v Speaker 2>can't make it a straight line. You exagging back and
<v Speaker 2>forth with the bushes. So they're very feasible. Somebody could
<v Speaker 2>be close to you, and we even do there and
<v Speaker 2>they could give good and useum they could keep bushes
<v Speaker 2>between you and them. But uh, you know, I would
<v Speaker 2>stop and I'd hear one more step, And that happened
<v Speaker 2>so many times, and you know, I would I'd hear
<v Speaker 2>that I was being tracked, and so I'd start doing
<v Speaker 2>strange things and trying to telegraph my movements, and I'd
<v Speaker 2>stopped and then I hear one more and.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, it sounds like they were around, and do
<v Speaker 1>you think they followed you from the TP incident over
<v Speaker 1>to this area.
<v Speaker 2>No, no, no, but it's a way too far apart,
<v Speaker 2>and there's ways many years in between, so yeah, there's

<v Speaker 2>it's the same owners, and try to see if there's
<v Speaker 2>somebody there that's been there a lot of years. And

<v Speaker 1>lines up with primate behavior or possibly like paranormal activity

<v Speaker 1>be a mother in juveniles coming in and just checking
<v Speaker 1>things out, like they're really curious, and that makes me
<v Speaker 1>believe that they were watching you the whole time. And
<v Speaker 1>I don't think that's too far out there. I think
<v Speaker 1>these things are very observant. They're on post and they
<v Speaker 1>spread out, and at nighttime they all group up together
<v Speaker 1>and move in. But it sounds like it was one individual.
<v Speaker 1>But of course, if there's one around, that means there's
<v Speaker 1>others in the area. So I think Oregon is just
<v Speaker 1>a hot spot for bigfoot activity, and honestly, the west
<v Speaker 1>coast and the East coast seem to be very, very hot.
<v Speaker 1>I always say it the Bigfoot of Missouri are just
<v Speaker 1>like really reserved and conservative. In the West and East coast,
<v Speaker 1>Sasquatch are just a little bit out there that makes
<v Speaker 1>sense to people. I don't know why. I feel like
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot more people on the west and East
<v Speaker 1>coast and there's more eyes to see these creatures, but
<v Speaker 1>also there's a ton of forest on the west and
<v Speaker 1>East coast, so I don't know, really, I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>feel like in Missouri they do the same thing, but
<v Speaker 1>not like they do on the West and East coast,
<v Speaker 1>so maybe there's more of them out there, and it's
<v Speaker 1>hard to say, but I feel like the population has
<v Speaker 1>a lot to do with it. Anyways, I appreciate everyone
