<v Speaker 1>Welcome to the NXT Podcast, your home for weekly NXT <v Speaker 1>reviews and insight. The beautiful part of NXT is that <v Speaker 1>when one dream ends, another dream begins. Find all of <v Speaker 1>your NXT news, recaps and analysis right here. So with <v Speaker 1>that being said, we only have one question for you. <v Speaker 1>Ah we thought, so let's get the show started right now. <v Speaker 2>Hey, everybody, welcome to the WWE podcast Cast NXT Review. <v Speaker 2>This is Jay. Sorry, I'm a little late again. Holiday <v Speaker 2>season has been crazy as always, but I am here <v Speaker 2>for your NXT review and also at the end of <v Speaker 2>this podcast, I'm gonna be talking about I'm gonna be <v Speaker 2>talking about my predictions for Deadline, although I have to <v Speaker 2>tell you it's not gonna be easy to do. But <v Speaker 2>you know, we'll talk about that when we get there. <v Speaker 2>But uh yeah, So the episode that aired the other night, <v Speaker 2>it was on December third from the Performance Center, and <v Speaker 2>this was a great episode. This was a really good episode. <v Speaker 2>I have a lot of positive things to say about <v Speaker 2>this episode and I can't wait to delve into it. <v Speaker 2>But this this week, I have to say, this next <v Speaker 2>few weeks in WWE is gonna be very interesting because <v Speaker 2>you know, you have all the crazy stuff that happened <v Speaker 2>on Raw. You got the who the heck knows what's <v Speaker 2>gonna happen on Friday Night on SmackDown. Yes, Saturday Night's <v Speaker 2>main event a week from when, a week from Saturday. <v Speaker 2>So basically you essentially have three pl e weekends in <v Speaker 2>a world. You've got Survivor series, you've got Deadline for <v Speaker 2>this weekend, and then next weekend your Saturday's main event, <v Speaker 2>which isn't a p leap per se, but they're treating <v Speaker 2>it like it is, just like they're treating the first Raw. <v Speaker 2>Netflix is like a pl too, which is why I <v Speaker 2>think that the Royal Rumble was pushed back until February first, <v Speaker 2>because because you've got the Raw. H You've got the <v Speaker 2>Raw on Netflix, the first Raw on Netflix happening on <v Speaker 2>January sixth, and then they want to they want to. <v Speaker 2>I think they want to put some distance between it, <v Speaker 2>which makes sense. So but as far as the next <v Speaker 2>t goes, we have we had this episode on Tuesday <v Speaker 2>Night on the third and it was the go home <v Speaker 2>episode for Deadline, and yeah, it was really really good. <v Speaker 2>And again, and I know I sound like a skipping <v Speaker 2>record when I say this. I know I say the <v Speaker 2>same thing all the time, but you need to observe this. <v Speaker 2>This episode again started with a woman's match, and although <v Speaker 2>the last thing wasn't a women's match, it was a <v Speaker 2>woman's It was to advance the woman's storyline. And I mean, <v Speaker 2>I know that wasn't the last of the well okay, <v Speaker 2>so there obviously were some things that happened that you <v Speaker 2>can check out on WWE, the Twitter feed, the x <v Speaker 2>Instagram YouTube. There were things that happened after the show <v Speaker 2>went off. So this was the first week and if <v Speaker 2>you've watched it, I probably thought it was kind of weird, <v Speaker 2>or I did. Anyway, this is what happened on Channel <v Speaker 2>eleven a New York City where I am. Well, I mean, <v Speaker 2>I'm not in New York City, but that's the channel. <v Speaker 2>That's the CW channel. I get. This episode ended abruptly, <v Speaker 2>and there were actually things that happened, and if you want, <v Speaker 2>if you went on social media, you can see what happened. <v Speaker 2>Two things actually, I think so so the end of <v Speaker 2>at the end of I mean, I know, I'm kind <v Speaker 2>of getting ahead of myself, but that's fine. At the <v Speaker 2>end of the episode, you hear again, at least on <v Speaker 2>my feed in New York City you heard Vic Joseph <v Speaker 2>right before it cut to the news. You heard Vic <v Speaker 2>Joseph say, oh my god, something's happening in the back, <v Speaker 2>and then you kind of expect to go to the <v Speaker 2>back and see what's happening, but all of a sudden <v Speaker 2>they start playing the news at ten o'clock news. So <v Speaker 2>so clearly this was the first week on the CW <v Speaker 2>where they have the hard stop and they didn't get <v Speaker 2>it out in time, or they expected that you're gonna <v Speaker 2>go on social media, I don't know, but but basically <v Speaker 2>it was it was, oh my god, something's gonna happen. <v Speaker 2>Something's happening in the back tonight. That's him, and it's like, oh, okay, <v Speaker 2>so we don't know. Come to find out if you <v Speaker 2>watch social media that Eddie Thorpe seemed to have been <v Speaker 2>jumped in the back, like not in the in his back, <v Speaker 2>but like in the back in the back area, and <v Speaker 2>he was knocked out on conscious And this is not <v Speaker 2>this is not the first person to be knocked out <v Speaker 2>on conscious. This is There was so much happening in <v Speaker 2>this episode, So let's let's let's go from the beginning. <v Speaker 2>So the beginning of the episode, this is obviously I said, <v Speaker 2>but for it's from the Performance Center in winter Park, Florida, <v Speaker 2>Nick Joseph and Bookerta. Your commentary is Mike Rome is <v Speaker 2>your ringing answer. And the first match we have is <v Speaker 2>for is the Women's Iron Survivor Survivor Challenge qualifying match. <v Speaker 2>This is for all the people that for the women. <v Speaker 2>This is all for all the people that lost their match, <v Speaker 2>their qualifying match. This is like the last chance opportunity. <v Speaker 2>So so we have Cory jad and Klonnie Jordan's, Jada <v Speaker 2>Parker and Ren Sinclair. Now, not to give away the spoiler, <v Speaker 2>because I'm just about to give away the spoiler, but <v Speaker 2>out of those four, and listen, don't get me wrong, <v Speaker 2>I like Rensinclair. I think she's really cool. She's peppy, <v Speaker 2>you know. I think she brings actually think she brings <v Speaker 2>about to No Quarter Catch crew. But of those four women, <v Speaker 2>she's not the one I would have picked. And that's <v Speaker 2>gonna happen again next week. So at the end of <v Speaker 2>the match, you have Jade has a. Jade does a <v Speaker 2>step up in sigury hooks the outside leg of Parker <v Speaker 2>for the two count. Uh. Sinclair was in the middle <v Speaker 2>and UH and Sinclair had got an inside cradle for <v Speaker 2>a two count. Uh, Cory Jade kicks out of the <v Speaker 2>of the left me to Sinclair. Jade goes to the <v Speaker 2>double underhook DDT, but Jordan counters with a handspring lariat. <v Speaker 2>Jordan hits a four fifty splash. Now that's important, so <v Speaker 2>Colonie Jordan then hits a four fifty splash on Corey <v Speaker 2>Jade for a two count. Parker then slaps Jordan in <v Speaker 2>the ribs and Lola Ice comes down to the ringside. <v Speaker 2>While so, Lola Ice is coming down the ringside while <v Speaker 2>Jada Parker is getting ready for her move where she <v Speaker 2>sits on the person in the corner and then she <v Speaker 2>meets Jada Parker up on the ring side. Lola does <v Speaker 2>and does the rotating backfist. She doesn't hit Jada, she <v Speaker 2>hits ren Sint Claire. Now what happened was Corey James <v Speaker 2>has already had a four fifty splash on her and <v Speaker 2>she's on the ground kind of out unconscious. Lola Ice <v Speaker 2>hits the back punch and Rensing knocks Ren Saint Claire <v Speaker 2>out and she falls on top of Corey Jade and <v Speaker 2>then gets the three counts. So it turned out that <v Speaker 2>by happenstance, I guess Ren Sinclair wins the last qualifying match, <v Speaker 2>and of course all the women are despondent. Now we're <v Speaker 2>gonna get into We're gonna get into the women's Iron <v Speaker 2>surviron match. Do you remember the old song in Sesame Street. <v Speaker 2>One of these things is not like the other. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>Ren Sinclair is gonna get killed. It's a little preview <v Speaker 2>of later on. Now you have a back interview with <v Speaker 2>Sarah and Eddie Thorpe and tonight tonight, he says today <v Speaker 2>he has a fair chance to get into the Men's <v Speaker 2>Iron Survivor Challenge at deadline. Lexus King then says Eddie <v Speaker 2>needs to control his temper. Being a loose cannon quote <v Speaker 2>unquote loose cannon is not the way to go about things. <v Speaker 2>And if you if you remember at all, if you <v Speaker 2>have any idea, they used to call Brian Pillman, who's <v Speaker 2>Lexus King's father, he used to call the loose cannon. <v Speaker 2>So Eddie doesn't want to take advice from Lexus King, <v Speaker 2>that from somebody with daddy issues. Lexis has proved to <v Speaker 2>the entire world that h that he is not his <v Speaker 2>father's son. According to him, and he has plans on <v Speaker 2>becoming a major singles champion. Hey, what you know what, <v Speaker 2>he's a champion. He's a champion of that beard. Like, <v Speaker 2>if you ever see that beard that he's got some <v Speaker 2>some funky designs going on on that beard. And I <v Speaker 2>have to tell you, I'm impressed. I am impressed with <v Speaker 2>the beard. So Lexis says he doesn't know whether Eddie <v Speaker 2>should have been suspended or not from the whole thing <v Speaker 2>last week with with Ava and him grabbing on Ava's arm, <v Speaker 2>but he knows, he knows that can be a frustrating situation. <v Speaker 2>Exit and a tails. Eddie tells Lexis to keep his <v Speaker 2>hands off of him and he'll see him in the ring. <v Speaker 2>So then we're back out to the ring. Jada Parker <v Speaker 2>comes out back after the match after the Iron the <v Speaker 2>Woman's Iron Survivor Challenge and demands x he haven't under <v Speaker 2>underground NXT Underground match right now with Lolavice. She demands <v Speaker 2>that they start taking down because obviously if you don't <v Speaker 2>know what NXT underground matches, there's no ropes, there's nothing <v Speaker 2>like that. There's a bunch of people around the outside <v Speaker 2>of the ring and it's more like MMA style. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>so she demands, and she demands they start taking down <v Speaker 2>the ropes, and then and then the referees they're all like, oh, <v Speaker 2>we'll start taking down the ropes. They start doing it. <v Speaker 2>She's in the middle of the ring with hanging draping <v Speaker 2>ropes and finally, while they're doing this, Ava comes out <v Speaker 2>and says the match will not be happening tonight, instead <v Speaker 2>that the NXT undergrad match will happen at deadline. Of <v Speaker 2>course it will not gonna just say I think, by <v Speaker 2>the way, I think, I think Ava, whoever's or Shawn <v Speaker 2>Michaels needs to talk to the ref and go yo. <v Speaker 2>If wrestlers telling you to take down the ropes, NNA, <v Speaker 2>We're not doing that, Like if we take down the <v Speaker 2>ropes if I I'm sorry, I keep harping on this. <v Speaker 2>I thought that was hysterical. And what of these guys <v Speaker 2>do we? I guess it was for the aesthetic. I <v Speaker 2>don't know. Lola Ice that says Jada's ego has got <v Speaker 2>her into a situation where where she's going to get <v Speaker 2>knocked out, and then Jada passed the brick over to <v Speaker 2>Lota and Jada drops Lola with a heavy back elbow <v Speaker 2>smash and that's all. It took one elbow smash and <v Speaker 2>and Lola Ice is out called, which is interesting. All right. <v Speaker 2>Next we've got Karmen Petrovitch and she appreciated the vice <v Speaker 2>advice that she got from Brindley Reese and Dion Lennox <v Speaker 2>regarding as Shanty the Adonis. Ashanti sent Carmen a bouquet <v Speaker 2>of roses and wished her block in a match with <v Speaker 2>the Kia Lions, and she called a shot, say a <v Speaker 2>smooth player. Then we've got the second match. So the <v Speaker 2>second match was the number one contenders Tag Team Battle Royal. Now, <v Speaker 2>I've been saying for weeks, if you've if you're a <v Speaker 2>regular listener to this podcast, for my podcast, I've been <v Speaker 2>saying for weeks that they need to figure out this <v Speaker 2>whole tag team crowd because it's been annoying. All it's <v Speaker 2>been is a whole bunch of people who I barely know. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. I know I know that now listen. <v Speaker 2>I watch n XT every week to do a podcast, <v Speaker 2>and I, as a weekly watcher, don't know the names <v Speaker 2>of half these guys. I know Hank and Tank, their <v Speaker 2>name's Ryan. That's it. I know, I know the the <v Speaker 2>two guys from the family. But I don't like you <v Speaker 2>say Stacks the other guy. You see one point. I <v Speaker 2>know there's two guys from No Quarter Catch Crew, which so, <v Speaker 2>but what I'm what I'm gonna say is this Battle <v Speaker 2>Royal that they had for number it was really good. <v Speaker 2>Like there was no huge stars in this Battle Royal, <v Speaker 2>but it was just a quality quality Battle Royal. The <v Speaker 2>concept was interesting. It was you get thrown over and <v Speaker 2>but it's not like so in the past. I've seen <v Speaker 2>tag team Battle Royals where if if you go over, <v Speaker 2>then your partner has to leave too. This wasn't like that. <v Speaker 2>This was you go over, you're out, but your partner <v Speaker 2>stays in and whenever individual from a tag team is left, <v Speaker 2>that tag team is now the number one contender. So <v Speaker 2>it was a great match there I have I can <v Speaker 2>tell you. I have a list here of all the <v Speaker 2>guys that were thrown out by all the other guys. <v Speaker 2>I'm not going to go through it. What I can <v Speaker 2>tell you is that at the end, Lucian Price was <v Speaker 2>eliminated by a Miles Born and No Quarter Catch Crew <v Speaker 2>is now the number one contender for the tag team title. <v Speaker 2>Now great so now we've got the No Quarter Catch <v Speaker 2>Crew against which, by the way, so this is a <v Speaker 2>big night for No Quarter Catch Crew. First, she got first, <v Speaker 2>she got ren Saint Clair going to the Irons Survivor Challenge. Now, <v Speaker 2>and now you've got the other two guys that's not <v Speaker 2>Charlie Dempsey, Miles Bourne and the other guy. Again, there's <v Speaker 2>a lot of people. Remember, those guys are going for <v Speaker 2>the tag team title and they're they're more of a <v Speaker 2>legit tag team than there's. There's a bunch of guys <v Speaker 2>that were just thrown together here, but at least No <v Speaker 2>Quarter Catch Crew has been together for a while, so <v Speaker 2>it's not it's not like this is a brand new <v Speaker 2>thing for them. So but here's the problem. Here's my issue. <v Speaker 2>Nathan Fraser. Okay, now Axiom didn't spoiler alert, Axiom did <v Speaker 2>that way the Men's the Men's Last Chance qualifying match. Okay, <v Speaker 2>it wasn't. So now you've got Nathan Fraser, and again <v Speaker 2>I don't understand this. I don't understand the way this <v Speaker 2>is working. Nathan Fraser is doing defending the tag titles <v Speaker 2>with Axiom that night and in the Iron Saviral Challenge. <v Speaker 2>I don't get why they have to do well, there <v Speaker 2>is Yeah, I know, actually I do get the why <v Speaker 2>they have to do this because there's a lack of <v Speaker 2>tag team the lack of viable tag teams, and so <v Speaker 2>they have to have Nathan Frasier pulled double duty because <v Speaker 2>there's no other choice. Yeah, I don't know, it's just <v Speaker 2>the whole thing is weird. So then you've got the <v Speaker 2>the entering back and forth between so Eric Bischoff comes out. <v Speaker 2>Now I like Eric Bischoff. I obviously I think he's <v Speaker 2>a revolutionary in the world of professional wrestling. He is <v Speaker 2>the creator of the new world order. He is you know, <v Speaker 2>if everybody knows what eighty three weeks is, it's the <v Speaker 2>amount of weeks that that Nitro beat Raw back in <v Speaker 2>the nineties. Eric Bischoff is great. He's a little annoying, <v Speaker 2>but you know, aren't we all. Here's the thing. So <v Speaker 2>he comes out and starts talking up the match between <v Speaker 2>Rich Holland and Trick Williams, and then then Ridge comes out, <v Speaker 2>and then Trick comes out, and Eric Eric Beinschoff just <v Speaker 2>starts singing the he's kind of half singing the praises <v Speaker 2>of Rich Holland, and he's like, he's basically licking the <v Speaker 2>feet of Trick Williams as I'm saying. What I'm saying <v Speaker 2>is that he's just he's just gushing over him. And <v Speaker 2>and then all of a sudden, Trick Williams. I'm not <v Speaker 2>going through the back and forth, the word for word <v Speaker 2>back and forth because because it was it was irrelevant. <v Speaker 2>It ended up with Trick, you know, Trick Williams and <v Speaker 2>Ridge Holland beating the crap out of each other, Rich <v Speaker 2>throwing Trick out of the outside and then again as <v Speaker 2>he did with Andre Chase in the past, putting him <v Speaker 2>into the Redeemer DDT on the announced table. And then <v Speaker 2>and I honestly, sometimes I think that they I sometimes <v Speaker 2>I think that they think we're stupid. Honestly, I really do. Like, like, <v Speaker 2>he has a Redeemer DDT, he's grabbing his neck and <v Speaker 2>then they bring him out to the hospital to inan <v Speaker 2>ambulance to the hospital. And then later on we find <v Speaker 2>out that Ava went to the hospital. Like she's not like, <v Speaker 2>she's not running a television show right now that she <v Speaker 2>has to go with one person. Granted it's the champion, <v Speaker 2>but still it's still one person and there's still a <v Speaker 2>show to manage to go to the hospital. I know <v Speaker 2>she was on FaceTime with the with Stevie and mister Stone, <v Speaker 2>but whatever, just the whole the whole concept is just weird. Again, overall, <v Speaker 2>I still am saying, I'm still hold to the fact <v Speaker 2>that I like this episode. It's just there's there's little <v Speaker 2>things that, like I said, I think that they think <v Speaker 2>that we're stupid, Like wrestling fans are like the one <v Speaker 2>especially the ones watching NXT, the wrestling fans and that <v Speaker 2>audience and the ones watching NXT every week. We're not <v Speaker 2>the stupid ones. The ones that the people listening to <v Speaker 2>the ww podcast to find out what the things are <v Speaker 2>going on. We're not the stupid ones. We're not the <v Speaker 2>people that don't know that just watch casually. We're the <v Speaker 2>ones that know everything. We're the ones that follow on <v Speaker 2>social media. We're the ones that that know when things happen. <v Speaker 2>And we're the ones that know when things happen after <v Speaker 2>it goes off the air, which I'll talk about in <v Speaker 2>a second. So anyway, Trick Williams goes to the hospital, <v Speaker 2>put it on a stretcher with the neck brace, goes <v Speaker 2>to the hospital and is gonna get about you wait <v Speaker 2>it so there you go. Oh my god, we don't <v Speaker 2>know if there's a what's gonna how it's gonna impact <v Speaker 2>the title match at deadline. So if anything, if Trick <v Speaker 2>Williams can't wrestle a deadline because of because Ridge Holand <v Speaker 2>attacked him, that's on you, Rich. You're not gonna get <v Speaker 2>your title shot anyway moving him. So after that, we <v Speaker 2>have a match between Carmen Petrovitch and Nikita Lyons. This <v Speaker 2>was a fast match. This was a really fast match. <v Speaker 2>This is this is this match was was just okay <v Speaker 2>and at the end, uh, Petrovitch connect connected with the <v Speaker 2>silent slice to pick up the victory, which is a <v Speaker 2>kick to the head essentially. After the match, Petrovitch refused <v Speaker 2>to acknowledge a shot to the Adonis's existence as she <v Speaker 2>was walking out of the ring side. So that was <v Speaker 2>That's one of the There was there was two kind <v Speaker 2>of throwaway matches, and I think that's one of them. <v Speaker 2>I mean it was these actually are really two good competitors, <v Speaker 2>and the fact that there was just a really quick <v Speaker 2>match was kind of odd. Uh. Then we got Charlie <v Speaker 2>Dempsey who says he's extremely proud of the entire note <v Speaker 2>quarter catch Crew, and he's looking forward to Miles and <v Speaker 2>Tavion capturing the NST titles and Ren Sinclair is ready <v Speaker 2>to become the the next Iron Survivor. Again, I like <v Speaker 2>Ven Sinclair Shane gonna win this. We had to. We <v Speaker 2>had then head backstage where we see Sean Spears talking <v Speaker 2>to Brooks Jensen and Nico Vance and he's not ready <v Speaker 2>to unless to unleash Nico yet. Spears says, keep a <v Speaker 2>close eye. He's keeping a close eye in Ggi Dolan's <v Speaker 2>return match, so that'll be an interesting development to see <v Speaker 2>what happens. By the way, I love I love gg <v Speaker 2>Dolan and her with Tatum Pasley isld gold. It's gold anyway. <v Speaker 2>Then we've got a match between Gigi Dolan and is <v Speaker 2>He Dame? Another like again this was this was uh so, <v Speaker 2>this was gg Dolan's first time wrestling on the CW <v Speaker 2>on n XT and this was basically here this was <v Speaker 2>this was NXT saying here's here's how she kicks ass. <v Speaker 2>Keep that in mind for the future. Okay, is he Dame? <v Speaker 2>Is he Dame? Got destroyed? Tatum packs is on the outside. <v Speaker 2>Is he d like she just destroyed? Is he Dame? <v Speaker 2>And and At the end, Dolan's uh sends Dame shoulder <v Speaker 2>into the steel ring. Dolan connects with the GG driver <v Speaker 2>to pick up the victory. By the way, looks thinner. <v Speaker 2>I noticed it looks like she looks thinner. He looks dinner. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>like in a good way. I'm saying, she looks healthy. <v Speaker 2>She looks really good. And I always like gig don't <v Speaker 2>in regardless the way she looks. But she definitely looks <v Speaker 2>there anyway, So Gju Don'tant wins the match. So then <v Speaker 2>you've got Javon Evans and he was in the back <v Speaker 2>talking about the answer Average Challenge and then x POC yes, <v Speaker 2>Sean Wallman, x PAC six, all those things, and he's <v Speaker 2>wearing an nw O shirt, which I thought was interesting <v Speaker 2>since Eric Bischeff is by the way, I forgot to <v Speaker 2>match you friend, Eric Eric Bischoff, and really x POC. Okay, <v Speaker 2>there was no reason for them to be there. They <v Speaker 2>did nothing to advance the storyline. Eric Bischoff came out <v Speaker 2>earlier and and basically just said, hey, this is this guy. Hey, <v Speaker 2>this is this guy. Let's talk about it. And then <v Speaker 2>they start talking, and then they start talking to each other. <v Speaker 2>There was like there was no revelation. There was nothing <v Speaker 2>and and x POC was the same thing. Like he <v Speaker 2>came out, he talked to Jovon Evans, this is love <v Speaker 2>Javon Aarons love XPOC, love average show. But all it <v Speaker 2>was was, Hey, you're awesome, do great out there. I <v Speaker 2>think you're gonna win the Iron Survivor Challenge. To from <v Speaker 2>XPOC to to Jovon Evans, that's it. That was it. Like, <v Speaker 2>that's cool. But if you're gonna, if you're gonna fly <v Speaker 2>these guys all the way to Florida to do something, <v Speaker 2>to have them do something like it's great to see them. Yay, <v Speaker 2>it's great to see them, but at the end of <v Speaker 2>the day, do something with them. Anyway. Then you've got <v Speaker 2>the fifth match, which is the Men's Iron Survivor qualifying <v Speaker 2>match with Axiom, Cedric, Alexander, Eddie Thorpe and Lexus King. <v Speaker 2>And this was a great match too. This was this <v Speaker 2>was like, like I said, the majority of the matches <v Speaker 2>were really really good. H At the end of this match, <v Speaker 2>you've got Alexander with a running lariat on the apron Cedric, <v Speaker 2>Alexander kicks King in the face. King upper cuts Alexander <v Speaker 2>Alexander with the michion Oku driver and a two count <v Speaker 2>mission Oku mission Oku, right, yeah, Axiom with the the <v Speaker 2>half and half sue plex to Thorpe. Axiom connects with <v Speaker 2>the Golden Ratio for the two count. Thorpe then pulls <v Speaker 2>because Thorpe pulled Axiom out of the ring before the <v Speaker 2>referee could hit three, and then Thorpe goes on to <v Speaker 2>Lexus King for the for the three count. So Eddie <v Speaker 2>Thorpe wins by a pinfall and he is now the <v Speaker 2>next Ansurvivor Challenge contender. Maybe because something happened, I told <v Speaker 2>you what happened later on and then Ava informs. Uh so, <v Speaker 2>then there's a there's a a what's it called FaceTime <v Speaker 2>call between Eva and mister Stone and Stevie Turner and <v Speaker 2>they said the trick is adamant about fighting the NXT deadline. <v Speaker 2>So the NXT Championship match is still on for Saturday. Again, <v Speaker 2>the pay per view Sarah the Plias on Saturday, not Sunday. <v Speaker 2>Usually nxtplis have been on Sundays, but this one is <v Speaker 2>on Saturday. Just so you know. Finally you have Roxanne <v Speaker 2>Perez coming out, and I have to tell you the <v Speaker 2>chick is getting a little old now Rox sand Perez <v Speaker 2>saying how awesome she is and yeah, no, no, yeah, <v Speaker 2>Rox sand Perez is great. To me. I do think <v Speaker 2>feel like favebooked her to win way too much, like <v Speaker 2>the like not beating Jordan Grace come on, like you know, <v Speaker 2>back earlier this year, not beating Jordan Grace, like like, <v Speaker 2>I know they're trying to make Rox sand Perez big <v Speaker 2>and I appreciate that. And yeah, she is. She is great. <v Speaker 2>She's a great wrestler. She's she's very well put together <v Speaker 2>as far as I'm over all of her, like the <v Speaker 2>way she you know, puts herself, you know, like presents herself. <v Speaker 2>There's no way she's meeting Jordan Grayson and quote real life, Okay, <v Speaker 2>there's no way she's meeting Julia like she did earlier <v Speaker 2>this year. And at some point they're gonna have to <v Speaker 2>like they're gonna have to move on from her. Now <v Speaker 2>you've got you've got four women and Ren Sinclair in <v Speaker 2>this Iron Survivor Challenge. Okay, of the four women, you've <v Speaker 2>got soul Ruka, who I would put down like as <v Speaker 2>a one tier below the other three people that I'm <v Speaker 2>talking about. You've got Sol Rooker, you got Zaria, Julia, <v Speaker 2>Stephanie Veker, Okay, And so you know, Roxanne comes out <v Speaker 2>and she does her whole spiel. She says, you know <v Speaker 2>how awesome she is, and everybody knows she's awesome, and YadA, YadA, YadA. <v Speaker 2>And then finally, one by one, the four other participants <v Speaker 2>come down and then they'll just basically they just stare <v Speaker 2>at each other and start beating the crap out of <v Speaker 2>each other. I'm talking about Soul, Rucus, Aia, Julian, Stephanie <v Speaker 2>and and then as as they're all beating the crap <v Speaker 2>out of each other in the ring, Roxanne leaves the ring, <v Speaker 2>and then Ren Sinclair, Yeah, Ren Sinclair basically you know, <v Speaker 2>knocks down Roxanne prez and and and grabs the title. <v Speaker 2>So listen, I'm gonna get into predictions on the second, <v Speaker 2>but I can tell you who's probably not gonna win <v Speaker 2>on on Saturday. So after that, we have U. We <v Speaker 2>have the thing where I was talking about and when <v Speaker 2>Vic said, you know, there's something going on in the back, <v Speaker 2>and then what I didn't see. Again, I don't know <v Speaker 2>if everybody had the same issue, but what I didn't <v Speaker 2>see because it went to the news. Was when you <v Speaker 2>look back in the locker room and Eddie Thorpe is <v Speaker 2>laid out on the floor as the show goes off <v Speaker 2>the air. So we don't know why, we don't know how. Again, <v Speaker 2>in my market, we didn't even see it. I saw <v Speaker 2>it on X the next day, so we don't know <v Speaker 2>what happened. Let's see what happens. Could be Lexis King, <v Speaker 2>could be somebody else. We'll say, to be honest, I <v Speaker 2>don't particularly care for Eddie Thorpe. I think he's annoying <v Speaker 2>and that he needs if he's gonna if he's gonna succeed, <v Speaker 2>he needs to listen. I'm all for people being themselves, <v Speaker 2>but I think he overplays the Native American thing, like <v Speaker 2>I think. I think he's a good wrestler by himself <v Speaker 2>and he needs to just kind of stick to being himself. <v Speaker 2>But that's just me anyway. So it was, like I said, overall, <v Speaker 2>was a really good episode. I really liked the Women's <v Speaker 2>Iron Survivor Last Chance Match. I really liked the tag <v Speaker 2>team Battle Royal, which, again, if you've listened to me <v Speaker 2>at all, you know that this tag team thing just <v Speaker 2>is just driving me nuts. So I'm happy that that <v Speaker 2>was a good thing. The Men's Iron Survivor was really good. <v Speaker 2>A lot of cool backstage things happening. So we'll see <v Speaker 2>what happens now as far as my predictions go. So <v Speaker 2>now we're gonna talk about deadline, And in deadline, we've <v Speaker 2>got five matches total. First we have the NXT underground <v Speaker 2>match with Lola Ice and Jada Parker. By the way, <v Speaker 2>this this this feud between the two of them is awesome. <v Speaker 2>The two of them, they're so good in the ring. <v Speaker 2>They're so going to talk and smack, They're they're just <v Speaker 2>they're just so like it's so entertaining and I almost <v Speaker 2>don't want it to end, although I have a feeling <v Speaker 2>that once the underground thing happens, it's gonna be the <v Speaker 2>end of it. But the two of them together as gold. <v Speaker 2>And if it was like like picture picture, like you know, <v Speaker 2>the Bailey's and the and Becky Lynch and Satif Flair <v Speaker 2>like and Sasha Banks when they all their feuds back <v Speaker 2>in the you know, earlier, you know, in the twenty tens, <v Speaker 2>and and like now and now how they're they're having <v Speaker 2>their you know, they were having your feuds again. Quote unquote. Uh, <v Speaker 2>I mean in general, I'm saying and uh, like this <v Speaker 2>is like I feeling that once the two of them <v Speaker 2>and the two of them will go to the main roster, <v Speaker 2>at some point both of them will and I have <v Speaker 2>a feeling that I would not be surprised if they <v Speaker 2>revisited this feud in the future. The two of them <v Speaker 2>are so good. And I if I have a prediction <v Speaker 2>for this match, which this is the whole point of <v Speaker 2>what I'm trying to say, is I believe Lolavice is <v Speaker 2>gonna win the the underground match. That doesn't mean that <v Speaker 2>Jadea is not gonna She's gonna put up a heck <v Speaker 2>of a fight, but I think Lowla's gonna end up <v Speaker 2>winning this match. Then you've got the Tag Team Championship <v Speaker 2>match between Nathan Fraser and Axiom against Milesbourne and Tavan <v Speaker 2>Heights from the No Quarter Catch Crew. And I actually say, <v Speaker 2>after all, listen, after all this back and forth, after <v Speaker 2>all this like this tag team turmoil and using it <v Speaker 2>not as a jovial thing. If if Axiom and Nathan <v Speaker 2>Fraser don't lose, what's this all about? They need to, <v Speaker 2>like they need to take the titles off of them <v Speaker 2>and move on. They need to re establish the tag <v Speaker 2>team division, and I honestly think having no Quarter Catch <v Speaker 2>Crew be the tag team that that defeats them for <v Speaker 2>the titles is the thing that happened should happen. So <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna take Miles Bourne and Tavian Heights for that <v Speaker 2>match over over, Actually Nathan Fraziers to be the new <v Speaker 2>NXT Tag Team Champions. So uh. For the Iron Survivor Challenge, <v Speaker 2>the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge, you've got so Ruka, Zaria, <v Speaker 2>Stephanie Veaker, Julia, and Ren Sinclair. Now again, one of <v Speaker 2>these things is not like the other, right, Red Sinclair, <v Speaker 2>I'm putting to the side. She's she's cool. I like her. <v Speaker 2>She has no chance in heck with this one zero <v Speaker 2>chance when you're looking across the now and I haven't <v Speaker 2>put so Ruka kind of like at a a tier <v Speaker 2>below the other three. But you've got Stephanie, Julia and <v Speaker 2>Zaria together, So basically you're saying, which one of those <v Speaker 2>three is gonna win? I'm sorry, so Ruka, she's awesome. <v Speaker 2>I love the cutter that she does, the soul catcher cutter. <v Speaker 2>That's awesome. She's she's a delight. She's not gonna win <v Speaker 2>ren Saint Clair. Yeah, she's not doesn't have a I mean, <v Speaker 2>she's a snowball chance in hell, nothing like there's there's <v Speaker 2>no I mean, I like again, she's she's cool, she's pretty, <v Speaker 2>she's pretty good in the ring. But again you're standing <v Speaker 2>across from Zaria is Julia and Stephanie Vacaire. And by <v Speaker 2>the way, my hit my pick to win, and granted, <v Speaker 2>I have to tell you I'm just throwing up things <v Speaker 2>in whatever lands on my hand is the winner. And <v Speaker 2>to be honest, I picked Stephanievacor. I think Stephanie of <v Speaker 2>the of all of them, has got the the ring <v Speaker 2>presence and the wildness to end up taking taking the <v Speaker 2>win from from this event. So that's my pick. My <v Speaker 2>pick is Stephanievacaier for the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge. For <v Speaker 2>the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge, I you know, I kinda <v Speaker 2>I kind of have to go with who would I <v Speaker 2>think would be the favorite And I don't mean fan favorite, <v Speaker 2>I mean the I mean not the underdogs. And so <v Speaker 2>you've got You've got Javon Evans, Nathan Fraser, Ethan Paige <v Speaker 2>Wesley and Eddie Thorpe. To me, there's really only one <v Speaker 2>of two, one of two possibilities. In my mind, it <v Speaker 2>is either Ethan Page or Wesley, and I be honest, <v Speaker 2>I think I think Ethan Page. Eventually we'll get back there, <v Speaker 2>but for now, I believe it's Wesley's time. And then <v Speaker 2>we're gonna have Wesley and uh sorry guy sidechecked, We're <v Speaker 2>gonna have Wesley and Trick Williams at the next p <v Speaker 2>l A. That's that's my It's actually I think New <v Speaker 2>Year's Evil is the next one they're doing one new <v Speaker 2>So New Year's Eve is on Tuesday, which is the <v Speaker 2>night of NXT, and I think they're doing a New <v Speaker 2>Year's Evil, which is which is the next pay per <v Speaker 2>view or the next semi premium event which is on <v Speaker 2>c W. I honestly think it's gonna Wesley. That's my opinion. <v Speaker 2>That's my that's my prediction. And then finally at the <v Speaker 2>NXT Championship match, Trick Williams versus Rid Child, they're not <v Speaker 2>giving up about Trick Williams just yet. Trick Williams is <v Speaker 2>he's the man that's carrying him through the CW at <v Speaker 2>least for the first six to nine months, So I <v Speaker 2>honestly think Trick Williams is also gonna win this match. <v Speaker 2>It's it's gonna be a good match. It's gonna be good. <v Speaker 2>You know, ri Ridge has gotten so much better since <v Speaker 2>he left the Brawling Brutes, you know, the the the <v Speaker 2>sidetrack into Chase University and now being basically the top heel, <v Speaker 2>even even a bigger heel now than Ethan Page, which <v Speaker 2>is pretty interesting. But yeah, I think that Trick Williams <v Speaker 2>is pulling up this match, especially because especially because the <v Speaker 2>night the the the episode before the ple, he ends <v Speaker 2>up getting his butt kicked. Usually that's that means that <v Speaker 2>he's he's coming into the ring from a disadvantage. Jenny's <v Speaker 2>gonna pull it off in the end. That just tends <v Speaker 2>to be the formula. So anyway, let me know what <v Speaker 2>you think, Give me a give me a comment, give <v Speaker 2>me a buzz like follow me i'm at i'm at <v Speaker 2>at j underscore gomere g U m a E r <v Speaker 2>so at j A y underscore g U m A <v Speaker 2>E r on X and get me a bunch of <v Speaker 2>new followers, which is cool. And I hope to get <v Speaker 2>more and I hope to engage with you and if <v Speaker 2>you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please let me <v Speaker 2>know and let Matt know because I get to I <v Speaker 2>get to do this every week as long as Matt's <v Speaker 2>happy because he's the he's the boss, so in that <v Speaker 2>in that aspect, I will be back on Sunday morning <v Speaker 2>Sunday morning for the deadline recap and review.
