But I think he's nasty. But I also think it's uh, you know, taken away from his hitting a little bit, like I said, and he's going to have to he's I think he's getting today off. He got he didn't hit yesterday, and Dave Robertson he's getting him today off. So it's definitely gonna take away from his hitting. But he's pitching and he wants at so young and right now he's in line to get it. I still think he's I still think Paul Skens is the guy to beat. My pitching career might be four years starting last year. So now I'm in three years left and he's pushing at it. I have zero doubt he can win a Say Young, zero doubt. But I also love that Dave Roberts is willing to say, you don't have to pitch. I mean, you don't have to you don't have to hit and pitch right now. We want to keep you healthy. We want to and I think because I've seen Dave Roberts say on multiple occasions that show Hey wants to win a Cy Young, or he thinks show Hey wants to win a Sy Young, they're clearly catering to that. They're clearly saying, we don't need you in the lineup, even though our team is struggling. When you don't hit to score runs, We're gonna be fine if you want to win the cy Young Great. The ultimate question will be as the season rolls on, if he continues at this historic pace, which I think he can do, how low does his hitting need to get this year while he's on this historic pace where these two days off of hitting are going to maybe stretch out to three or is it going to take away from his MVP type of season if he doesn't get enough hits. That will be the question that will ultimately go side by side with wow, how can a hitter who has hit fifty five home runs in the season before win the Cy Young? Just two years later?

Paul Skeens is gonna pitch every five days, so his innings, he might have sixty more innings than show. Hey, he might have if if the Miz goes on the IL for a certain thing, because the Brewers are gonna need every one of the Miz starts that he can give. If the Miz goes on the IL, and let's say he has thirty less innings but he has fifty more strikeouts than Schemes, there's a lot of what ifs. But what are the voters really going to go go to? I mean, he's got twenty four more punch outs at this point in the season. So if you just extrapolated out and the Miz has seventy five more strikeouts than Paul Skins, it's not like the Miss is seventy five more strikeouts than like a middle tier pitcher. If he has that many more strikeouts and Paul Skins, he's gonna win it, because Andrew, the voters love some punch outs.

And they ended up putting me on the d L at the time the next day after getting an MRI and realizing how bad it was. So you can try to play through this, but especially for me being a left hand hitter and it was my right side, it's not easy to do and it affects everything you do. Yes, you could, I probably have caught with it, yes, but it wasn't comfortable. You couldn't run. You couldn't. Really. It's hard to breathe, it's hard to eat, it's hard to laugh, it's hard to do a lot of things. And for I understand why Cal tried to get through this, and this is he will not use this as an excuse for why he went over thirty six, But trying to play through this as next to impossible. I don't think unless you've done this in your life, you don't understand how hard it is to to try to play through an oblique injury because it affects every part of your life.
