You guys are awesome. They sure are. You guys are the best. Speaking of things that are awesome, we just got done rewatching the creek. What help we got the creek blue? He's dead. Yeah, I'll take. You down to the creek. He scrats king for that. Yay, Stella? Could you tell us what was going on? At the beginning of this. Episode, Bluie, Bingo and Mackenzie are all at the park and it shows them playing on the swings and stuff, all looking really bored. So they go up and ask a bandit if he'll play with them. He tells them to just go and play on the swings again, so they do, and they're still bored. When they go back to bandit. What is he doing? He is laying on the slide. Yeah, he's hogging the slide. He's laying on the party slide down to relax. Yeah. Did you notice anything about the top of the slide. I noticed that there's a kid sitting up there and he decided to pick his nose and he was holding his finger out. Didn't know what to do. With the booger, So he just wiped down the side of the slide and could see the yellow churn just a little darker in that area because the pugger, And then the other time he's falling asleep because he was waiting for Bandit. The move. Your attention to detail just then was astounding. My goodness, it's time for honesty. Did we all get a good laugh about that? I gotta chuckle. I found it funny. You guys are so immature. That may be true, but it was still funny. It's definitely true, Amanda. What do the kids want to do next? They asked Bandit if they can go play by the creek, and Bandit says yes, and he's going to start leading them to the creek. As they're taking off, though Blue becomes a little hesitant. She's not sure she actually wants to walk through the woods to go to the creek. She decides she'd rather stay on the playground, but Mackenzie told her, come on, Blue, let's go, and she went with them. Mackenzie was balancing on these posts and Blue was frustrated that she couldn't do it, and that's sort of what led to her thinking that maybe she didn't want to go to the creek. It might be a little too difficult for but Mackenzie tells her the creek is beautiful and you have to go. She's ready to go, but she's definitely nervous. Henry, what's happening. When they start their trip, they. Start walking around. Blue is all nervous about everything because she's never been there before. And Bannett tells Blue everything's going to be all right. But then you watch out for drop bears? What is a drop bear? They're like koalas, but like evil koala is something different. Yeah, carnivorous koalas. They're not real. Oh yeah, it's sortless. In the US, when I was young and a bunch of people would go camping, they would take the young kids on a snipe hunt. Yes, and there's no such thing, but they would make it out like it was this completely dangerous thing that everybody had to be on the lookout for. Bandit assured them there were no drop bears. However, there was something they were gonna need to watch out for, Henry, and what was that? It was snakes. I don't think any of us would be too excited to have to run into a snake while we're out in the woods. Yeah, I wouldn't be excited at all. Definitely not. Something happens to Bluie while she's walking that. I think anybody who's ever spent any amount of time outdoors can relate to Stella. What does she walk into? She walks into a spiderweb? Is oh my gosh, Stella, has that ever happened to you? I don't think so. Really, You've never walked into the spider web. That's what I remember. We need to go hiking more. I don't like hiking. Hiking to gross. You used to like it, didn't you? When we go hiking, you walk too fast? Like why don't you just let us stop and appreciate things? You like speeding through it? Mom, you agree with me? Has that happened to anybody else but me? Me for sure? And I screamed, Yeah, it's not a particularly great feeling because you don't see it and then suddenly you walk right into I spent a lot of time in the woods whenever I was young, and no, Stella, I wasn't raised there. So are you sure? Yes? When they get past that, Stella, Bluey sees something that she thinks as a snake, but what is it? It is a leech on Louie's arm. She is freaking out, so Bandit takes off her arm and then he pretends to eat it, which makes them all laugh, but Blue is still freaked out. Yeah, I mean leeches can be pretty gross. Usually you think of getting them, like in water, but it's just kind of like a slug looking thing that one's to attached to you. But no, thank you. They keep walking, Amanda, what happens to Bluey? Next? They're walking along in the woods and the ground is pretty bumpy here and there, and Blue slips and she slides down aways and as she does, she hurts her knee. She's pretty concerned, but luckily bandits there to reassure her. Give us a look. Ah, yeah, okay, I'll just have to chump the leg off. You don't need to, man, I used to try to do stuff like that to these kids. What they saw right through my shenanigans. Yes they did. Blue keeps repeating something to herself to reassure herself. Henry, what is she saying? She is saying the creek is beautiful. Yeah, it's beautiful, and that's why they're there to experience it. The next thing they're gonna do is hop across some rock. Mackenzie's great at it, but Blue is nervous. What advice does he give her? Henry. The advice he gave Blue was some are wobbly and the green ones are slippery. And Blue managed to escape a wobbly one, but then she immediately slipped on a green one and went to some mud like mud. That'll be good, Poor Blue. She was really upset about that. Henry, has anything like that ever happened to you? Well, not mud going into my mouth, but one time I did slip in a mud puddle. Listen, When I was a kid, we probably ate dirt on a dare and stuff like that. Plus when it would rain it would get muddy. We would make mud pies, so I'm sure some of that dirt went in our mouths. Oh yeah, well, now, just for everybody to understand, you made mud pies. She didn't eat them, right, You just played in the mud. Head's ever played in the mud like that? I probably have, Like I have played in mud, but I don't think i've really like done that a bunch. I don't think you made mud pies or eaten mud intentionally? Neither of you have done that. I don't know. Maybe let's go to the archives. I'm just kidding. Bluey gives herself a pep talk about how beautiful the creek is to give herself the courage and the desire to keep going. They make it to a little waterfall and everybody's jumping over. Bluie is scared to go across Stella. What happens. Mackenzie tells her that it's just like jumping from sheep to sheep, and he's shocked when he realizes that none of them have ever done that. Yeah, to him, it's completely normal because he's a sheep dog. But they have never done that. When you guys were young, were you surprised to find out that not everybody had piles of Star Wars toys at their house that belonged to the dad instead of the kids. Yeah, that's I don't know what to say. You thought it was just normal that all dads had that run Yeah, obviously, Yeah, but were you surprised to find out they didn't? Well, I guess not everybody's as cool as you, dad. I don't think that's what your mom thinks about my Star Wars toys. Blue manages to jump across and feels great that she did. Amanda. When they get to the creek, what happens. When Bannet gets to the creek, he is just overwhelmed by how beautiful it is, and he says it's just as beautiful as what he remembered from when he was a kid and he played there with his friends. Yeah, he hadn't been there in forever. And I love how everything kind of slows down and the way the lighting looks and music. The music really fills you up with that peaceful, sweet nostalgia feel. It's so beautiful, the visuals the music together. The kids are trying to figure out what are we supposed to play? Henry, what does bandit tell him? He tells them, I don't know. It's the creek. You just smuck around. And then right after you said that, he immediately laid down the water. You could tell that it took him right back to when he was young. I remember I played in a creek like that when I was a kid, and I thought it was amazing. I felt like I was on a huge adventure and I was hundreds of miles from home, and I wasn't My parents were like right over there, but I would come out just filthy. But oh my gosh, it was so beautiful. Henry, did that look fun to you? Yeah? It did look fun. I don't know that I would have laid down in the water, but hey, bandit, he knows what he's doing. Stella, what happens to Blueie? Right away? Tadpooles come up to her feet in the water and they started nibbling on her feet, and she thinks it's funny. She starts to laugh and kind of relax. A little bit. Everything goes into this slow motion thing. What were some of the things that we saw during that. I remember they saw a beautiful dragonfly fly by, and I think it was like a crawfish or craw dad that was in the creek. Yeah, it saw them and was hesitant to scoot. It's a little head out anymore. But those kids were being super respectful of the environment. Well, blue is in love with the place now and wants to stay, and so they have a whole bunch of fun. I mean, what were some of the things they did. They built a dam with the rocks blocking the waterfall. They also made little boats and had boat races. That looks so fun. Henry. What else were they doing? They were skipping rocks also. Yeah, that looked pretty fun. Bluey picked up a big, ginormous one though, and there was no way she was gonna skip that, and she just tossed it in there for a big splash. But they all got a good laugh out of that. What was the next thing we see them playing? Henry, they're playing a game to where they're running a spa and Bandit is going there and he's getting his nails done. Yeah, and they're doing all kinds of treatments to him. Stella, what else is he getting? Bingo is putting a mud pack on his face? Do you remember what Bingo's name was? She's the one who always has names whenever they play these games. Her name was Cassiopia. Yeah, what a pretty pretty name. Yeah, Bandit is being such a good sport about it, and all the kids are having fun. Bluey goes off by herself to get some more mud, and an amazing thing happens. Amanda, What does blue experience? She looks up from collecting her mud and she sees a wallaby across the creek from her, and the wallaby is just so cute. Yeah, and they're hypnotized by each other, kind of blue doesn't know what to do. The wallaby doesn't know what to. Do right. Beautiful. It really really struck a chord with her. She will probably remember that forever. They head back to the playground and Amanda, what do they see there? They see that the playground is completely empty, nobody else is there, and Bandit asked them if they want to have another go on the swings before they head home. But Mackenzie said that he's actually kind of tired, and Bandit said, I didn't think you ever got tired. Yeah, he does seem to have a lot of energy. You know, they must have had a really good day if none of them wanted to play on the playground once they got back right. And did you notice how muddy all their feet were? And they had sticks and leaves and I don't know what else in their first So they had a really good time in that creek. Yeah they did. Henry Bandit mentions that they didn't see something while they were there. What was it? He was talking about? Gazanta pedes and Bingo asked them are those actually real? And Bandit said, no, they're not. But we seriously need to check for ticks. And that was the episode. Henry, did we forget anything? Nope, I don't think so. Well, you know what it's time for. Did we learn anything today? Could anyone tell us what did you learn today? I learned that sometimes the first time for an experience can be kind of scary, but once you get used to it, you learned to like it and you realize that it's pretty awesome. Just like how Bluey went to the creek for the first time and sheel was nervous. B at the end she was okay with it. Very good. Yeah, she would have missed out on an amazing experience if she didn't overcome her nervousness about doing something she had never tried before. I agree with Henry, he said it very well. But yeah, sometimes you gotta not necessarily let your guard down, but you just got to kind of be brave and let yourself try new things and you could have the best time. Yeah. I can definitely relate to that of experiences where I wish I would have been more of a free spirit about it and allowed myself to relax and have fun in a situation. I agree with Henry. I think he said it pretty well. Have you ever had an experience where you were nervous going in but were so glad that you stuck through it and did it. Yeah, definitely. Before I had ever really went to an amusement park, I was terrified of going on big rides and stuff because I'd never been on them before. And then I ended up going to Disneyland for the first time, and I just completely forgot about that fear the first time I went on a ride because it's really not that scary, and now I really enjoy going to theme parks and going on rides and stuff. That's a good example, because yeah, it can seem scary to ride a roller coaster or do anything else, but if you let that stop you from doing it, you may miss out on something that it turns out you really really like it. I really liked the way bandit was reliving his childhood going to this place because it struck a chord with me because of the similarities of the things I had done whenever I was a little guy. And I love that he joked with the kids about the gazantipedes and the drop bears, because that's just the sort of thing that I went to. Now, Yeah, that was pretty funny how he was trying to trick the kids. I think it's even cuter that they know he's full of it. Yeah, does anyone have any parting thoughts about the episode? I really liked. The scenery in this episode, Like when they were at the creek and everything. I just think it looked really pretty. It was beautiful. The combination of the visuals and the music, Oh just perfect. Clap clap clap, all the way around. The visuals looked really good and it makes me kind of one visual place like that someday. I thought the creek was really beautiful too. And the part where Bluey encountered the wallaby, I thought that was really cool. That was such a special moment for her. Yeah, that was really sweet, and we probably all thought about how we would react in that moment, and it was so pure and so real. And there's things like that that can happen to you even as an adult, where you're still awe struck by it and it takes you back to kind of that wonderment of when you were a kid. If I was in the woods and I encountered an animal like that, it would take my breathway and I would probably be right back to little eight year old me being wowed by everything that I saw. Yeah, an excellent episode all the way around. Well, guys, we think Bluie is awesome. And speaking of things that we think are awesome, Henry, what should we do next? The hell out? Oh, Oscar, I wish I could play an instrument, but I'm just not that talented enough to play one. But thanks for thinking that it was me. Maybe a friend of mine who has a recording studio.
