[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Forty K-Lorecast. [SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to Vortica, Lorcaz with me, John Barside and Brett Chester. [SPEAKER_00]: This guy. [SPEAKER_00]: Today's cast recovering the evil elder, the Jew-carry. [SPEAKER_00]: Who might be the most evil faction in all of Forty Kay? [SPEAKER_00]: There's chaos, but... [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you're like, Cass has people that are overriding. [SPEAKER_01]: Cass, gods are making you do stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: You know who the Dark Elder have making them do stuff? [SPEAKER_01]: Just nobody. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this them. [SPEAKER_00]: So before we begin, as always, please like and comment the podcast. [SPEAKER_00]: Last two months, we may bring up the cast very much. [SPEAKER_00]: But we got in the top one hundred spot in over four countries that top two hundred and others six. [SPEAKER_00]: And we've been holding that. [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, for those of you who are helping us do that by just listening to the cast, liking and commenting, I cannot thank you enough. [SPEAKER_00]: It is awesome and it's giving, it's rocketing my joy. [SPEAKER_00]: Additionally, as we always bring up, we have a discord. [SPEAKER_00]: So the link is in the show notes if you're on Spotify or any channel, go to the description of the show. [SPEAKER_00]: The link is right there. [SPEAKER_00]: We're now over three thousand members and still growing. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you Kevin and the community there for helping this thing grow. [SPEAKER_00]: Kevin restructured it to make it actually possible to engage with three thousand people. [SPEAKER_01]: We've got also helps my coaching requests in measure. [SPEAKER_00]: Just don't have to say it. [SPEAKER_01]: I will still put out the email. [SPEAKER_00]: For those of you who are listening to the cast or kind of have interest in it, it can be anything is mild as a, hey, I want to know more about this topic. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyone have some good literature requests or could be something, hey, I'm thinking I'll be playing Forty Kay any advice or just use when mess around post memes and joke around. [SPEAKER_00]: We've built this incredible thing on discord. [SPEAKER_00]: It's so positive. [SPEAKER_00]: It's so healthy and that's the part I would love about. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a place you guys can come into. [SPEAKER_00]: No one's getting up voted or down voted, no one's getting flamed. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just a great place to interact. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, it is the best place to tell me that I got something wrong. [SPEAKER_00]: I have taken a lot of comments. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: It was wrong. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: Making fun of GW for calling the Treaty of Olympus no real reason and then namely discord and also some Spotify comments point out there's the Olympus mods on Mars and basically John your idiot. [SPEAKER_00]: accurate so sorry got that one wrong and anything else I miss by the way guys please jump in and tell me this is why we made the discord was not a like oh we made a discord then people go there I mean this multiple times a day like most of the a lot of the day I'm in there so if you have a comment you have a criticism you have a request jump in and I couldn't love it more [SPEAKER_01]: Also, go into the channel. [SPEAKER_01]: The channel I love the most. [SPEAKER_01]: I look, actually, I love a bunch of the channels, but future casts. [SPEAKER_01]: We really take that seriously. [SPEAKER_01]: We really want your feedback. [SPEAKER_01]: We'd love to hear what you want to hear. [SPEAKER_01]: And we take all of them seriously. [SPEAKER_01]: We might get to them right away because [SPEAKER_00]: Forty Cays huge yeah, but we you'll see will you she respond with something in there? [SPEAKER_00]: There's some really good ideas like we're gonna do the new one that came up recently was a bad asses of the Imperium where we're just gonna do a cast talking about just certain characters we couldn't make a full cast out of them but just certain Imperium characters who just are pretty badass [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm already down with that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: This is great. [SPEAKER_00]: There's tons of them where it's like, oh, I think you got a full book, but they got something. [SPEAKER_00]: Same with some questions about, yes, the minitars are being recovered. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, the lords of Terry are being recovered. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to talk about the only imperial fist that I like tour gear down tour gear. [SPEAKER_00]: That's very good. [SPEAKER_00]: That's one thing is we're ready. [SPEAKER_00]: These are great ideas. [SPEAKER_00]: And if you've got some, give them to us. [SPEAKER_00]: We will happily steal them. [SPEAKER_01]: I do need everybody to know as usual. [SPEAKER_01]: I said to her, Geridan, and I made a gesture, I really, I got my hammer ready to do that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're going to have to do some live events at some point in the future. [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone's going to see how physical we are when we stand. [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be really embarrassing. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'm going to tell you, it makes more sense. [SPEAKER_00]: You're just from Toledo. [SPEAKER_01]: I have a crazy person. [SPEAKER_01]: I get up multiple times during our cast. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it is actually funny. [SPEAKER_00]: Additionally, there's a link in the notes to our Patreon. [SPEAKER_00]: Again, there's something that we put together for those of you who like what we're doing if you want to help us out. [SPEAKER_00]: We really do appreciate it. [SPEAKER_00]: We use it to purchase audio equipment. [SPEAKER_00]: We've reached it to purchase editing equipment. [SPEAKER_00]: We've got an audio engineering stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't worry. [SPEAKER_00]: All of the wine comes out of my budget. [SPEAKER_01]: It's also gone today. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm taste at about this. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a limit to that. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to drive home. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm already home. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm good on wine. [SPEAKER_00]: Point. [SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, for those of you who've already given, we do hope that you've seen the real improvement in the audio. [SPEAKER_00]: Those of you who help us out, it's great. [SPEAKER_00]: This is something that we used to really do fun to the cast and do more bit larger and greater things with it. [SPEAKER_01]: It helps a ton with everything from the sound. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's mainly the sound. [SPEAKER_00]: It's, I mean, it's an audio cast. [SPEAKER_00]: What else do you want to have like, but what the feel we're going for? [SPEAKER_00]: Any more? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the texture, the texture of the cast got a lot better since I started giving the Patreon money. [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, as soon as the Patreon is gave more money, you put the seat back down so I could touch damn ground. [SPEAKER_00]: That's just a little thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Because I did a mess with Brad. [SPEAKER_00]: Brad comes to my house. [SPEAKER_00]: I said that before he gets here. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'll randomly just move stuff around to see what he notices. [SPEAKER_01]: My feet are touching. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's to my tiptoes. [SPEAKER_01]: But still, my feet are touching. [SPEAKER_01]: I can't actually put the hole. [SPEAKER_00]: We also have now updated our website. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the forticularcast.com. [SPEAKER_00]: We have all the links in there, Discord, Patreon, merchandise. [SPEAKER_00]: So merchandise is technically a coming soon. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: It's on Etsy. [SPEAKER_00]: If you go to Etsy and type in FortyKlorcast on Etsy, you'll find us, but I'm actually linking it back into our website, that will be live a time of release of the cast. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not there at time of recording. [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for saying. [SPEAKER_00]: It's bad. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I, I will be wearing. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to buy our own merchandise. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you might be in these upstairs, but last little bit I want to touch on, though, of course, is Brad's coaching services. [SPEAKER_00]: Brad is a coach of warmer, Forty K. He's been. [SPEAKER_00]: He's been a coach for over about a decade now. [SPEAKER_00]: He's been playing for over thirty years. [SPEAKER_00]: He's got massive amounts of experience for anyone who is either you're new to the game to plan the game for a while, however it is, if you're looking for just kind of a way to get better at the game or just get into the camp. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Brad's what you're always getting better about it. [SPEAKER_01]: I love to teach people to try to play the game. [SPEAKER_00]: And it really honestly, I want to be by play with the Brad coaching client. [SPEAKER_00]: I play against Brad coaching client. [SPEAKER_00]: He does do a very, very good job of helping people understand some of the basic mechanics of the game. [SPEAKER_01]: But I also really, I want to throw this out there. [SPEAKER_01]: I just enjoy doing it. [SPEAKER_01]: I just like, like, I want to have other people experience my love. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And it really is in bread. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's not the South Philadelphia high school football coach I had, where he just yells at you the whole time. [SPEAKER_01]: You do a bad thing. [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't really. [SPEAKER_01]: So we had so much baggage coming up the cast. [SPEAKER_00]: I just just think that someone doesn't bad deployment when you're coaching. [SPEAKER_00]: So you make him take a lap. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll see you in a minute. [SPEAKER_00]: But if you're looking for Brad's coaching, originally we were sending him out of the website, but then I got a bunch of complaints on Spotify and Discord that they missed Brad yelling at the email address. [SPEAKER_00]: So come on, Brad, let's, let's, let's aid the world on my daddy's. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm leaning in and I'm flexing it up. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh man, Brad, for the K, Gmail.com. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I was going to mess it up. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was actually where you're going to get halfway through and run out of air. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just old man. [SPEAKER_00]: Just pass up. [SPEAKER_00]: I got all the two excited about it. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like if you were going to have to be birthday on a cake and they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start, they start [SPEAKER_00]: Before we've been to get you in the past, little disclaimer. [SPEAKER_00]: Drew Carrey, little disclaimer. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, this is, yeah, this is important. [SPEAKER_00]: Drew Carrey are Eldar. [SPEAKER_00]: Brad and I love Eldar. [SPEAKER_00]: We have a passion. [SPEAKER_00]: This one might get a little, this one's going to get a little long. [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to go a bit. [SPEAKER_00]: This is, when we do a lot of these cast, I'll be candid. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, there's some groups we know more about than others. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's just passion. [SPEAKER_00]: Brad and I have a lot of passion towards Eldar. [SPEAKER_00]: So this is one that you're going to hear a lot more out of us with. [SPEAKER_00]: It is what it is. [SPEAKER_00]: So [SPEAKER_00]: Let's start with the jukari. [SPEAKER_00]: What are they? [SPEAKER_00]: The jukari are the remnant of the elder population, but there's one that caused the fall. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: They want to represent no question. [SPEAKER_00]: They are, they're also not a much like the elder. [SPEAKER_00]: They're fractured, but they're much more fractured than the elder. [SPEAKER_00]: They're really made of three factions. [SPEAKER_00]: Ish. [SPEAKER_01]: But they're also, and we'll talk about this with the Dark City, three factions fractured over a fractured city, which is not a city. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a, yeah, it's a, the, the Dukary are pirates. [SPEAKER_00]: There are pirate plutocracy. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the best way to explain it from like a, you look at historically. [SPEAKER_00]: They work in small bands and then those small bands will then band together into larger bands and then larger bands and larger bands. [SPEAKER_00]: But at their core, the Dukary has splinter in a second. [SPEAKER_00]: There's not. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but they have, [SPEAKER_01]: which will go into a pretty big personality that holds a lot of the shit. [SPEAKER_00]: But it is, but it's cool to personality. [SPEAKER_00]: What I'm saying is the difference is like, oh, it goes away. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Shits. [SPEAKER_00]: That's like, oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: The elder don't fracture. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But in a craft world, the craft world does something. [SPEAKER_00]: The craft world exception of Sam Hane, which is the one that's Sam Hane, the rest of them all just kind of follow whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's Sam Hane and a little bit of attack. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Ellie, I'll talk. [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: They're awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: But the big thing about the Chikari is the Chikari accidentally survived the fall. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, basically, yeah, purely by chance. [SPEAKER_00]: The key thing about the Chikari before we get into them. [SPEAKER_00]: I just want to kind of go a quick overview is that they're not pirates who raid for like resources and valuables. [SPEAKER_00]: They're waiting for souls. [SPEAKER_00]: Yep. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is why the Drew Carrey may be one of the most feared races in the galaxy. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's, it's tough. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, not tough, but I'm kidding. [SPEAKER_00]: I was, I was in Xenos. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm making a joke. [SPEAKER_00]: But within Xenos, like a full-blown internet invasion is obviously catastrophic, but the Drew Carrey are the ones that I would rather have [SPEAKER_01]: Terrible things with bugs, then be captured by Jakari. [SPEAKER_01]: Jakari, there's a reason why Jakari's special rule in the game is called powered from pain. [SPEAKER_01]: Jakari, legitimately [SPEAKER_01]: as the craft for old Jews, soul stones. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll get there. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm saying, but they spoil it. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't spoil it. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to say it up from a little bit. [SPEAKER_00]: What I'm saying is the, what, what the, is this, the jukari are the most feared because they come from behind. [SPEAKER_00]: where is the tyrannids, cow, orks, all of the others, you know, races, even that a lot of the chaos races, you'll see them coming. [SPEAKER_00]: They, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they just, they, they, you're coming. [SPEAKER_01]: But if you get taken by your car, oh, it's horrible. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I don't really enjoy the fact that you pulled my skin off yesterday and use magic to make it come back and we're going to do it again. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's actually, it's a lot of premieres to your stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's, you're like, hey, man, it would be super cool if this wasn't, any chance I'm going to die today, you're like, oh, a bunch. [SPEAKER_01]: But you're going to stay conscious weirdly enough for all of them. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what makes the jukari just rough. [SPEAKER_00]: But let's, let's dive into them. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's have fun. [SPEAKER_01]: The fact that they're bad people got it. [SPEAKER_00]: So origins. [SPEAKER_00]: So we covered the fall of the L.D.R. [SPEAKER_00]: at least three different casts. [SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to quick hit this real quick. [SPEAKER_00]: largest most powerful race in the galaxy, the old ones create them to be poets and artists, then old ones got into war with the Necrons in the C-Tan. [SPEAKER_00]: And when you're warriors, yeah, and Eldar, we're like, hey, yeah, you're, they're really, you're warriors now. [SPEAKER_01]: Put down the flute, grab the guns. [SPEAKER_00]: Then the Eldar at the being made warriors, people they were listening to and were in charge of the old time, the old ones just disappeared or their tyrannids or something else now. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, the old ones effectively went, hey guys, after we win this war, we're definitely going to let you be war poets and artists again. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll definitely teach you how and we're going. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because they were gone. [SPEAKER_00]: And so the Eldard then had sixty million years of ruling the galaxy. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, sixty five. [SPEAKER_00]: The war that war happens about five million years. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: It's sixty five. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so sixty five million years of ruling the galaxy. [SPEAKER_00]: Over time, they got pretty good at that and they created just a life of luxury for themselves. [SPEAKER_00]: They could manifest anything they wanted, but it's just worth a thought. [SPEAKER_01]: And by thought. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, with thought, they were effectively immortal because they could actually recycle their own souls upon death with full recollection. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're old life. [SPEAKER_00]: And they start to get bored and right around, I mean, they made like sixty something million years, but around like the year ten thousand or fifteen thousand, things start to go awry. [SPEAKER_01]: I have a feeling that they're already kind of going around. [SPEAKER_01]: I think that this was the catalyst to the end. [SPEAKER_00]: That's fair. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: We know from the stories that we've seen on the pleasure cult's rise. [SPEAKER_00]: And so within Eldar's society, [SPEAKER_00]: a small, like kind of sect of Eldar, begins searching for like a sense of feeling by inflicting harm. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's because their lives had just been pure luxury. [SPEAKER_00]: Everything was easy. [SPEAKER_01]: There's no there's no struggle. [SPEAKER_01]: There's no accomplishment though, but also think about it. [SPEAKER_01]: They've had sixty million years of the best. [SPEAKER_01]: Again, Eldar are [SPEAKER_01]: OCD times one million. [SPEAKER_01]: They're focused on what they're focused on. [SPEAKER_01]: They get crazy. [SPEAKER_01]: So even if you're trying to create something, the average elder has nothing to focus on because somebody's already done that and they focused a thousand years on it. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's a drop in sixty million years. [SPEAKER_01]: You trying to do something new. [SPEAKER_01]: Isn't a thing? [SPEAKER_00]: It's not yet. [SPEAKER_00]: It's either an impressive. [SPEAKER_00]: So over time, these pleasure calls begin to grow within the, the elder. [SPEAKER_00]: These pleasure calls, the word pleasure is interesting here. [SPEAKER_00]: We think of, and we say the word pleasure called, most people think of like hedonism. [SPEAKER_00]: This is actually violence. [SPEAKER_00]: These pleasure calls. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I just let you guys know I'm gonna show up tomorrow. [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: While I'm being tortured to death, you understand I'm gonna wake up in like, twenty minutes and just all I'm doing is coming after you specifically. [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, side note, this though begins to set the stage for Drew Card. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, I wanna take a quick left turn here to an important part of the story telling, which is common. [SPEAKER_00]: Not Gamma from New Vegas. [SPEAKER_00]: Gamma. [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, I, and I would say I know internal knowledge of this, but I'm saying with full confidence, that was intentional by the people who made interplay makes fallout. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's used to three times now. [SPEAKER_00]: See our games at one point anyway. [SPEAKER_01]: But the point is, by our interplay, yeah, whoever city it is, I think that's which one you want. [SPEAKER_00]: I do not doubt that when they named Gamera, they were, they were ripping off for a game. [SPEAKER_00]: But whatever, it's about time, GW got hit for an IP violence. [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, as we stated before, the L-DAR had mastered a foreign transportation called the Webway. [SPEAKER_00]: And the Webway was originally made by the old ones. [SPEAKER_00]: And the Webway, it's interesting. [SPEAKER_00]: When you first read the Webway, you think it's a good dimensional gate, where you step in one side, you step out the other. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not, it's physical. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not, yeah, inside the webway actually is a third dimension. [SPEAKER_00]: We have the material that we all live in, the immitarian, which is what the warp is, and then the webway, which is a third dimension. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the in-between. [SPEAKER_00]: So the elders used these to interconnect their empire. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is actually how they became an invincible force because they could actually, their entire military could actually move through these things. [SPEAKER_01]: And this is another reason why they were so hotty and just ridiculous is [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, we have a war here and our entire forces. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the one thing I find interesting is the orcs. [SPEAKER_00]: So the orcs on when the Eldar were in charge were never a problem, which makes sense because the second in the orc wall would even begin to start an entirety of the Eldar military could show up and kill them. [SPEAKER_01]: They kill everybody down and just leave nothing ever know [SPEAKER_00]: race was ever able to get large enough because they could move a billion souls to combat with you in an instant. [SPEAKER_00]: The web way itself though actually does have structure and you can build things into it, which is why when the emperor tried to make his own, he accidentally kind of punched a hole through the wrong side of it. [SPEAKER_00]: Magnus punched a hole in the right side of it. [SPEAKER_00]: So the Eldar take this web way and they realize it can set us being a point of connection. [SPEAKER_00]: They could actually build things inside of it, which makes sense. [SPEAKER_00]: Why would you build a factory in one place? [SPEAKER_00]: Take us out of the factory, then put it through the web when you take another place. [SPEAKER_00]: Why don't I just put the factory in the web way? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's also because of the fact that you could do things that didn't, that wouldn't exist. [SPEAKER_01]: I had a pause to think about what I was going to say about that. [SPEAKER_01]: It just, hey, can I transport this from point A to point B? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, [SPEAKER_00]: in the web where I could, and it's all, and not only up, but also there's no, anyone who's had to build ships. [SPEAKER_00]: We look at with the way they build aircraft carriers or where they've pulled submarines. [SPEAKER_00]: One of the big problems is these things are massive. [SPEAKER_00]: You build them on land, but then they're actually built to float in the water. [SPEAKER_00]: Or, you know, from a sci-fi standpoint, you want to make a spaceship. [SPEAKER_00]: Where do you build it, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Same thing. [SPEAKER_00]: With this, with a web way allows you to do is there are no real laws of physics within the web way, so you can build impossible levels of manufacturing within there. [SPEAKER_00]: So the web way becomes for the L-DAR, [SPEAKER_00]: This connection point, because they've got a galaxy span in spanning race, and they start manufacturing and even storing things within the web way. [SPEAKER_00]: And the web way starts to become, it begins to transform from a kind of, [SPEAKER_00]: highway commuting things to actually manufacturing. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it becomes a manufacturing. [SPEAKER_01]: But also becomes a almost a weird trade post. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, deal where we have money and we'll cover this a little bit later. [SPEAKER_01]: But it becomes a big deal because the the origins of the dark city are just I want to make something here. [SPEAKER_01]: It's more effective. [SPEAKER_01]: It's easy, but also [SPEAKER_01]: I need to get some goods here. [SPEAKER_01]: So I should just make a for permanent straight post here. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's how it, that's how the directions started. [SPEAKER_00]: One thing I want to point out, we talk about them building a trade post there. [SPEAKER_00]: This is how big this place is. [SPEAKER_00]: They captured two different stars. [SPEAKER_00]: And they moved stars. [SPEAKER_01]: They moved systems in here. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there are, but they're literal thing. [SPEAKER_00]: And today there are, there are, there are the are known two if you plan road trader, you know, there's not three stars that they're actually inside of their powering the place. [SPEAKER_00]: So they actually moved a son into it. [SPEAKER_00]: This is a impossibly large place. [SPEAKER_00]: And it becomes the center of commerce for the Elder Empire. [SPEAKER_00]: Why are we talking about this because the pleasure cults? [SPEAKER_00]: This ends up being named comma later because it's a dark city, but it's, when ends up happening now is the jukari, what I would call political situation. [SPEAKER_00]: Within the jukari, each section of the galaxy had its own, you know, nobles. [SPEAKER_00]: The elder kind of operate in that fashion. [SPEAKER_00]: Each noble has their own opinions, their own investor on that. [SPEAKER_00]: The Dark City of Comer of the Webway was viewed as so important to the drug curry that they say, well, we can no one can be in charge of this. [SPEAKER_01]: But it's also, it's gigantic. [SPEAKER_01]: I need to stress this again, because we haven't made a big enough deal about it. [SPEAKER_01]: The Dark City is a city in Maine. [SPEAKER_01]: The Dark City has giant portions of it, which are huge. [SPEAKER_01]: It is one [SPEAKER_01]: You walk into Comarab, which you think, when you think Comarab, it is a very low city London. [SPEAKER_00]: No, we're talking about your entering multiple planets. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's just your, but the thing is is that you're entering this planet size city, but also it's connected to multiple other gigantic others. [SPEAKER_01]: Comarab's more of a [SPEAKER_01]: an idea that any is more of a collection. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a collection of, it's almost like a collection of city states to be perfectly honest with you. [SPEAKER_01]: They're all considered the dark city, but it also because of the fact that you can have instantaneous travel. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why they're all considered to be the one. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to dive more in a comma and a bit about how it functions, but at the most important thing I want to kind of dive into right now is, comma is a trade post that has no governing authority, is a self-govern trading post and anyone who has any semblance of any knowledge of history knows that this is an absolute recipe for disaster and always has been. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just a super powerful. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, is nothing worse than this scenario. [SPEAKER_00]: So now I'll move back to the fall of the elder. [SPEAKER_00]: These pleasure calls first start out and they start sprouting up all over the elder empire. [SPEAKER_00]: They're not originally met love acceptance because it's elder murdering and torturing other elder. [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of hey man, not cool is what they're met with. [SPEAKER_00]: So the original cults, a lot of them go underground. [SPEAKER_00]: And by underground, we mean boom, into the web way. [SPEAKER_00]: Because in common, they can kind of do whatever they want, as long as they talk with me. [SPEAKER_01]: They semi, and this is very semi, try to police this up in. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Everybody that didn't want to have to deal with this went to the dark city. [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: But this is, you know, it effectively got the worst of the worst that kept coming here. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to preface this again with, the worst of the worst went here, the other guys were so bad they created a dark god of pleasure that broke the sky and destroyed the race and the people that were worse than that. [SPEAKER_00]: What was this in people? [SPEAKER_00]: That's very simple. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I'm saying that the people that were as or worse. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's fair. [SPEAKER_00]: So what happened is these pleasure cults start to actually gain popularity. [SPEAKER_00]: Pleasure cults have started moving. [SPEAKER_00]: They've actually don't move into just camera, but they move in and out of camera because they're kind of they would actually bounce out of camera and effectively do raids locally, but they're still trying to gain favor and greatly gain power. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's exactly what ends up happening. [SPEAKER_00]: Eventually, more and more LDAR start discovering what I'll do in air quotes here. [SPEAKER_00]: The ways of the pleasure called and discovering it actually does provide them with a full filmist that nothing else has done because this, you know, everything else in the LDAR life is easy. [SPEAKER_00]: This is different. [SPEAKER_00]: This is new. [SPEAKER_00]: This begins to grow and grow and grow. [SPEAKER_00]: So for lack of a better phrase, they create a recipe for sole pleasure that if you followed it would give you incredible feelings. [SPEAKER_00]: Now they've got this recipe, they can spread it. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, here's the thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Again, we have to go back into what it is to be an elder. [SPEAKER_01]: They hyper focus on whatever it is they're focusing on. [SPEAKER_01]: This is how you get to this because it doesn't matter if you're doing bad, good or whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: We made the joke in one of the other casts about [SPEAKER_00]: them having the guy that made the best doughnut ever they went all in oh yeah everyone who got it who was into the pleasure called figured out they maximize this very very well and we are yes we're talking about flesh sculptors you know we will be we will be doing the humongous covenant probably the next cast [SPEAKER_00]: The issue is that every world within the Elder Empire was connected to Comer, which means as these recipes for success were built within Comer, about this is the way to get the most feeling out of torture and murder, they could spread them very quickly throughout the Empire. [SPEAKER_00]: This becomes a nightmare for the Elder, because it hits the one group that was holding the Elder together, which is a nobility. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, the nobility went to the pleasure calls all in hardcore, immediately corrupt. [SPEAKER_00]: And the issue with the nobility with an elder is that once nobility's there, now there's nothing stopping this. [SPEAKER_00]: It's you basically have, you know, priests effectively in a couple of ran and couple of ships coming and going like what the hell's going on. [SPEAKER_00]: But once the nobility's involved, now everyone's involved. [SPEAKER_00]: So they come out of the shadows and it's given a fact around. [SPEAKER_01]: This is not a jocary thing. [SPEAKER_01]: But this is a during this whole thing, this is the beginning of the craft roads. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is what creates the craft rules. [SPEAKER_00]: Start to see this. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're saying there is a definite cause and effect to craft world. [SPEAKER_01]: There is existing because this is happening. [SPEAKER_01]: And it didn't happen. [SPEAKER_01]: This is the, the pre, the predecessor for craft roads is because regular, our life. [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't no longer in the shadows. [SPEAKER_00]: It was, it just became regular. [SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't saying the guys in the shadows became the craft roads. [SPEAKER_00]: You're like, no, I'm out. [SPEAKER_00]: We're out of here. [SPEAKER_00]: So this, now that they've got the nobility, a couple things happen. [SPEAKER_00]: First, it's out of the shadows. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, this is part of life. [SPEAKER_00]: Second, they've got funding. [SPEAKER_00]: So the leadership of the L.D. [SPEAKER_00]: are now basically pouring resources into more torture for this. [SPEAKER_01]: Because again, you have everything taken care of other life. [SPEAKER_01]: When you talk about funding, you have effectively unlimited funding. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, unlimited funding. [SPEAKER_00]: And so they start making things like, you know, this is the first arena, which will be covering later for murder. [SPEAKER_00]: This whole thing becomes, it's elder. [SPEAKER_00]: It becomes industrialized for lack of a better phrase. [SPEAKER_00]: So the Eldar starts moving into abject violence and just honestly also in next level violence because they can torture you beyond anything because again imagine Eldar a regular Eldar just random dead they can keep you as like powers so they're tort they're also torturing Eldar by the way that's not they're not raiding other other races. [SPEAKER_00]: This is all internal [SPEAKER_00]: The next thing that happens is a lot of these new kind of cult leaders of what I would call it. [SPEAKER_00]: You were the former nobility, starting relocating to the webboy. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of reasons for this, but most of it was just territory. [SPEAKER_00]: I can manage a few systems, but I can move from system to system. [SPEAKER_00]: Moving around inside the webboy was easier. [SPEAKER_00]: I could just jump in and out whatever I want. [SPEAKER_00]: I could build that. [SPEAKER_01]: They can manage a massive empire, but also the [SPEAKER_01]: the small the micros where I can do terrible things easier when the laws of physics don't apply a fact of it. [SPEAKER_00]: And so what surprised surprised it also gets them away from oversight because as we just said, [SPEAKER_00]: When we talked to it in real quick, just to remind you, the way the craft brills came out is Eldar still had to do if a world wasn't connected via webway yet. [SPEAKER_00]: You had ships that were going places and colonizing. [SPEAKER_00]: These people would be gone for hundreds of years, be a thousand years. [SPEAKER_00]: They were coming back. [SPEAKER_00]: and looking at what was going on, what the hell, and was screaming, what are you guys doing? [SPEAKER_00]: And so you get, people just got sick of that. [SPEAKER_00]: So they always went into the way to the web way. [SPEAKER_01]: They're like, I want to be super weird, and I don't want people to talk. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't want you guys telling me about this stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: And this, [SPEAKER_00]: starts the spiral. [SPEAKER_00]: This is alliance with about the time that the war starts to go crazy. [SPEAKER_00]: Like we don't exactly know when the golden age of technology became the elk and age of strife, but we exclude assume it's right about this this moment when they held our really start ramping. [SPEAKER_00]: So the thing what's funny about this is that the elder are not that aware this is happening because the elder don't use warp travel. [SPEAKER_00]: They use FTL drives and they use warp drive. [SPEAKER_01]: They should be aware of it, but they are so ridiculously [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but what I'm saying is the difference is that we're as mankind lost the ability to communicate and travel. [SPEAKER_00]: So the warped, the warped storms to mankind are much easier because it's just shut down. [SPEAKER_00]: The elder are just like, oh, yeah, they can feel it. [SPEAKER_00]: But they make it so much. [SPEAKER_01]: As a race, I mean, condescending might be the ultimate term for them. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: They just like, why do I care that this is happening? [SPEAKER_01]: Even if something happens, we're so much more advanced than everyone else. [SPEAKER_01]: Why would I care if? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because there's no threat. [SPEAKER_00]: The warps not it wasn't a threat to them at this stage. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm I'm I'm I'm so powerful. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm making things with thought. [SPEAKER_01]: Why want to give a shit about my power source? [SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, I mean, and then that I basically my viewpoint was the old British slogan of keep calming carry on except the calm part was just murder and torture. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and this is when the first exercise bail. [SPEAKER_00]: So the first this is the first time the excite start bailing and leaving the galaxy. [SPEAKER_01]: Actually, well, actually, it's where the excite's where the excite's where [SPEAKER_01]: Fairly early in this. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it was the beginning. [SPEAKER_00]: And then the craft world each and craft ones. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and you know, this all is this actually happens on a quick note. [SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about like, ten, fifteen thousand years, which for Eldar is why not fast. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back after a quick break. [SPEAKER_00]: So what happens next? [SPEAKER_00]: We've come before slenesh is suddenly born and she kills all, but maybe two or three of the Eldar gods. [SPEAKER_00]: And she kills ninety five percent of health. [SPEAKER_00]: Although that number doesn't make sense because of all the ones in the web way. [SPEAKER_00]: So she kills a large section of the elder. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a vast book. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll go with vast majority. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a vast majority. [SPEAKER_00]: She then decides to go and eat all the souls of all the elder that she miss. [SPEAKER_00]: And in every elder that's going to die in the future. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: However, this all occurs in the material. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: The immaterial. [SPEAKER_00]: in the web way, they're actually, they don't know this happened. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, yes and no, because they effectively get a, if you're playing a game, they get the sole rot condition. [SPEAKER_00]: But they don't want to say, they don't know this. [SPEAKER_00]: What I'm getting at is, if you're part of the elder empire, you are suddenly dead in consumed by slenish, or you're on a craft world looking out a window at where you used to live. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, the sky's broke. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it's a gap between the material and the imitarium. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're inside of the web way, what is our light rumble? [SPEAKER_00]: It's like that's everything. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like, huh? [SPEAKER_00]: Now, they figured out pretty quick. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, again, because they look up at their status bar and say, soul rot condition. [SPEAKER_00]: There's there's definitely, and there's definitely a problem. [SPEAKER_00]: And we didn't mention this in the last Eldar cast, but didn't really matter for the Eldar, but it matters that you're carrying. [SPEAKER_00]: Slanesh doesn't just consume an Eldar soul at death. [SPEAKER_00]: Slanesh actually has a way to always reach a piece of an elder soul. [SPEAKER_00]: She slowly saps your energy of every living being. [SPEAKER_00]: The elder and the craft world's made spirit stones and spirits on the effectively knowing that it captured their soul at death, but it also protected every texture. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a barrier, effectively. [SPEAKER_00]: But believe it or not, who knew the Eldar who made the spirit stones didn't want to share that technology with the people who are at fault for slimesh's birth? [SPEAKER_01]: And they came up with [SPEAKER_00]: the shittiest solution to this. [SPEAKER_00]: It really didn't. [SPEAKER_00]: So here's the thing. [SPEAKER_00]: They accidentally did. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I was going to say. [SPEAKER_00]: So the first majority do when they kind of discover the birth of slushland problem is they cut themselves off from all psychic powers. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't, they don't use them, which they still don't to this deck. [SPEAKER_00]: It is not. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they think that this is the initial solution period. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that we just, we can't, if we don't use psychic powers, she can't touch us. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and it doesn't make sense because when she can't see it into [SPEAKER_00]: the web way, but Drew Cardi do leave the web way on occasion. [SPEAKER_00]: And way, look at is if an elder word of suddenly or dark out of a sudden, the use psychic powers, she just knows they're there instantly. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's a great life. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's just you cannot do that. [SPEAKER_01]: And again, that you're curry, the now which you're going to be your curry. [SPEAKER_01]: don't have spirits don't technology and they have no way to not have slenish just take their souls but I also I think this is this so this must have been crazy for the early dark elder because you're talking about like the most physically gifted race in the world who could do anything remember it's at every day if you were making toast you probably use psychic powers to fire up the toaster [SPEAKER_00]: And that the analogy I use here, this is like, who's saying, bolt moving around in a rascal scooter, instead of walking, that's what life must have felt like for them. [SPEAKER_00]: I could do anything. [SPEAKER_00]: And now I'm just, I think a running Coleman joke here, but like three of us will get it. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's one of the biggest thing is, like I said, sake powers are part of every day, everything. [SPEAKER_01]: Like you, I'm assuming you probably locked your doors, sake power. [SPEAKER_01]: You made your breakfast, sake powers, you don't even need it. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: Gone. [SPEAKER_00]: But they find a new trick. [SPEAKER_00]: I have no idea how they discovered this, but the jukari learned that while slenesh can take a part of their soul, they can actually replenish this. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, well, Slonesh is basically slowly draining their souls. [SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing they can do about it because they don't, again, don't have the tech. [SPEAKER_01]: Apparently they didn't want to learn the tech. [SPEAKER_01]: They'd been around forever to find it. [SPEAKER_01]: But they just went, hey, man, you know, I can replenish my own soul as I'm fading away by being God damn. [SPEAKER_00]: So when we did our cast and the chaos gods, we talked about how every action you do will influence the warps, murder, pestilence, deception, gluttony, they all feed a chaos god. [SPEAKER_00]: Even if you're not done in their name, if you do it in their name, it's actually the more, but just the action. [SPEAKER_00]: For the true curry, this doesn't just apply to the gods, it applies to them. [SPEAKER_00]: So, as a being is suffering in like absolute agony, they emanate massive amounts of psychic energy. [SPEAKER_00]: The jukari can actually consume this energy into their own souls. [SPEAKER_00]: So, the jukari can replenish what's been taken out by slenesh. [SPEAKER_01]: but only by the suffering of others. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: And it cannot be done from afar. [SPEAKER_00]: They have to be up close and personal. [SPEAKER_01]: It is a weird psychic eminence is what I actually think is a to be fair. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's a psychic power. [SPEAKER_01]: I think they're using that psychic eminence or a psychic v. Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they have. [SPEAKER_01]: On the on the board, they have things that are called siphon. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: They have siphon powers. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So the current engines and stuff like that. [SPEAKER_01]: But I think that the average Chikari just psychically leaches off. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I have a different interpretation and I'll dive into right now where I kind of I actually think it's a side effect of slenish. [SPEAKER_00]: So in order my view point is effectively the end. [SPEAKER_00]: This is I'm making all this up myself. [SPEAKER_00]: This is not in a codex, but it might be right. [SPEAKER_00]: So in order to absorb the souls of the elder, I think slenash actually changed the way an elder soul functions. [SPEAKER_00]: So that'd be like a fixed thing, I would call it hard walls. [SPEAKER_00]: Slenash removed the walls of that soul, which allows you to reach into their bodies. [SPEAKER_00]: So it just dissipates out? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I added to take it out. [SPEAKER_00]: But by doing that, it can go both ways. [SPEAKER_00]: So by thinning the walls and allowing her deal to reach and take and take stuff out of the soul, their souls now actually because you permeate the walls and they could take things in. [SPEAKER_00]: So the Dukari actually by accident stumble upon this. [SPEAKER_00]: And I like to think of it more from a gaming standpoint because we're getting at this is in a video game if your character is injured, you use a meta pack, they heal, but they heal to a maximum moves. [SPEAKER_01]: There isn't a maximum here. [SPEAKER_00]: So rather than like pit points, I do it more like currency, where in a game you can, if you just want to loot everything you ever see, you can have all the currency. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's, you get overburdened, which is, or it's like incombered, which is like my at least favorite rule in a game ever. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just annoying. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like, oh, God, I'm gonna walk slowly for a little bit until I find someone to sell this crap too. [SPEAKER_00]: But for the elder, there's no cap in the monetary game. [SPEAKER_00]: They can go and become more and more and more. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, it also still can drain out. [SPEAKER_00]: There's also, they don't hold it. [SPEAKER_01]: So they do set up in the, it's a great mechanic. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about, I do want to throw in the game real quick. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, we, I have to get props to GW when they do this is one of the best written parts of the power from pain. [SPEAKER_01]: You use pain tokens. [SPEAKER_01]: You effectively use the over, well, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let [SPEAKER_00]: night edition, eighth edition, seven edition power from pain, where you actually would be powered up. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm killing. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a holly is like, as the Drew Carrey killed, they actually would gain, you know, which is, you pick your combat drugs. [SPEAKER_00]: We've actually get more combat drugs by killing more things. [SPEAKER_00]: The Cabalets could do this. [SPEAKER_00]: They actually would power up, because that's the way it works. [SPEAKER_00]: You actually can't, if you continuously torture souls and you absorb, you would get more, you get your faster, stronger, better, but exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: you become, it's like experience points, but they're not permanent. [SPEAKER_01]: And because they do dissipate away, because they don't, again, you're, I like do like your analogy of just the walls are off, because you don't have a way to contain them. [SPEAKER_01]: So like even if you, you power up and if you don't use it, it will, yeah, you disappear. [SPEAKER_00]: We cure it. [SPEAKER_00]: So you can become the most powerful than both the next cast we'll talk about like the arenas, like the witches who fight in arenas because of what they do in the arena. [SPEAKER_00]: They're sapping so much energy. [SPEAKER_00]: They become the greatest warriors, you know, effectively. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they also have to continue to kill. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's the biggest thing. [SPEAKER_00]: So from that understanding, now we can talk more about comma and what happened. [SPEAKER_00]: So, comma, I just real quick, was founded around M.A.T. [SPEAKER_01]: and the fall, the fall, the fall, I feel like, comma, I was a, when was the, the founding? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It was somewhere between, you know, twenty thousand and twenty million years ago. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: It was a kind of work. [SPEAKER_00]: What I want to say is that the LDAR had twelve thousand years of building there at full clip. [SPEAKER_00]: So the camera is massive. [SPEAKER_00]: And we say massive in current Forty Kay, the camera has trillions of residents. [SPEAKER_00]: someone, one of the co-dexes refers to Comra compares to a hive city, the way a mountain compares to an ant hill. [SPEAKER_01]: And this is super conflated in the writings, by the way. [SPEAKER_01]: How many people are here and to see their whole shit load or more than the [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there was that mean there was one reference at one point that there's actually more people in comment that and in the imperial which I don't then that I don't think that's got went away pretty quick. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that was wrong. [SPEAKER_00]: But the reason what makes commerce so crazy we were talking this earlier now and we died more into it is the way commerce function. [SPEAKER_00]: Camera has web ways all over the place. [SPEAKER_00]: So you're walking down a street what wouldn't you know, if you're [SPEAKER_00]: We're in the Americas. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't have archways, but if you're in Europe, they have archways. [SPEAKER_00]: You basically turn left on a street, go down an archway. [SPEAKER_00]: Just like you would a street, but in the camera, that archway warps you ten light years away. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep, because camera is all over the place. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's not a slice. [SPEAKER_01]: It's an idea more than just it's a sitting, holy, huge air goes. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll get into a later about what happens if you try to attack comor up, but you can blow up a section of it, but overall it just extends and extends and it's ruined if you try to look. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, look at that. [SPEAKER_00]: You know the story. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, say you should back up because they also have control over the web way continue. [SPEAKER_00]: Look at that story a little bit, but comor is [SPEAKER_00]: like the Imperium, it's just a vast scape of sections, but all the sections like have independent rulers that report back to a central ruler. [SPEAKER_00]: Sort of. [SPEAKER_01]: Kind of. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll say, yes, but they're much more independent. [SPEAKER_00]: Within Comer, it's much more anarchistic. [SPEAKER_00]: because as we just said, they have to inflict pain and torture to survive. [SPEAKER_00]: And survival is the only thing that matters to do with a dark elder, the only thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's also a currency here. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, because if you trade a body, you can trade all these things. [SPEAKER_00]: This becomes everything. [SPEAKER_00]: So what happens is the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the [SPEAKER_01]: But you trade everything, even, I mean, we'll go into the Covins in a later cast, but they trade on ways to suffer people. [SPEAKER_00]: Of course, yeah, because, but then they're given back people to torture. [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: That is the currency. [SPEAKER_00]: So what ends up happening is that, as the Dark Elder grow, they need to inflict pain. [SPEAKER_00]: and torture, so they begin raiding and murdering. [SPEAKER_00]: It actually starts off primarily within Comer. [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of it actually is just them raiding each other. [SPEAKER_00]: Which makes Comer, at this point, no one knows it, unless you're there. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the worst place in the galaxy. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're a D&D person, it's Men's Abraza. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, it would be your right. [SPEAKER_01]: But it's huge, infinite size. [SPEAKER_01]: And it is a shithole place to live because it's just backstabbing is just, it's the only way it is. [SPEAKER_01]: It's expected. [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: And I think when I look at it, I look at the way they wrote this. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll give you, you can tell the GW writers what they're super into. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's obvious they like kind of historical that there are big fans of like the [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, like they had sixteenth through nineteen century. [SPEAKER_00]: Give me their British would make sense. [SPEAKER_01]: But I was just to say the height of their life. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it seems legit. [SPEAKER_00]: And so like when I look at Comer on the Drew Cauri, I'm thinking of like liver tachia, tortuga, barbery coast. [SPEAKER_00]: It's all those things. [SPEAKER_00]: It's for me. [SPEAKER_01]: I think the barbery coast is that for me is the most apt for the majority of it because you have people that liver tachia was a little bit happy wasn't it? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That was the same. [SPEAKER_01]: It's that's too nice. [SPEAKER_01]: The barbecue is was and is a shit show. [SPEAKER_01]: And I really like that because, but also these smaller, even though they're huge, sex, the cabals and everything they come out of this, have to power this stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: By their terrible people don't get me wrong, but [SPEAKER_01]: They, this is survival. [SPEAKER_00]: They have to do terrible things. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's why I like these references of these like pirate kingdoms because they're all aligned against like an enemy. [SPEAKER_00]: So long as it works, but even even in there, they're all still independent. [SPEAKER_00]: So for example, Drew Carr, you're known for this, but if you know, like the stores of pirates, which, you know, again, [SPEAKER_00]: history is written by the victors, so I don't want to try. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to try. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, there wasn't a real pirate code. [SPEAKER_00]: That was a whole idea. [SPEAKER_00]: The whole thing is that, you know, you and you and an end arrival are going to align to go deal with something. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's something's usually a battle. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you show up on time or do you show up a little bit late? [SPEAKER_00]: So they take worse losses than then you can attack and attack them afterwards. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you sell them out to other rivals? [SPEAKER_00]: Because to make new alliances or do you just straight up when they turn their back murder all of them and take everything? [SPEAKER_00]: That is the life of Jukari, everything within the Jukari is constant. [SPEAKER_01]: And also everyone expects all of these things. [SPEAKER_01]: If you show up as an ally, you have to, you would be surprised if somebody didn't do it on you. [SPEAKER_01]: It's somewhere in shape. [SPEAKER_00]: And so where that leads us and it was a structure of commerce. [SPEAKER_00]: So, Comra is, I think, best explained as the Greek city states, but ruled by a really, really powerful, lit leader. [SPEAKER_00]: And the reason I think, whether it's, and this actually comes back to the fall, because as the Eldar Nobles left the material to go into the web way, they built them to these massive palaces, which became their own like many cities within Comra. [SPEAKER_00]: And they were ruthless and how they ruled them because of what we just said. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: We would get murdered in a second. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Turn your back. [SPEAKER_01]: But also these cities again, because the laws of physics and everything don't always exist here. [SPEAKER_01]: All of these cities are like terror. [SPEAKER_01]: Like how we, how terror became a, you know, one giant planet fortress. [SPEAKER_01]: They're, these are commonplace in Cobra. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and this is where this structure is important because each of these leaders has, as I just said, absolutely, and it is brutal rule. [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone, this is not, we were saying, you don't turn your back. [SPEAKER_00]: Like everyone around them is violent and strong, and they rule with a complete iron fist. [SPEAKER_00]: that's critical because this, the structure of camera is about to change. [SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, hardcore. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Around M. thirty two. [SPEAKER_00]: So with at this point, we're about two thousand right under two thousand years post. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I see. [SPEAKER_00]: The first, the jukari have begun rating into the Imperium. [SPEAKER_00]: And there was also settling into what it was. [SPEAKER_01]: It also [SPEAKER_01]: Eldar as our most fantistical, I don't know where everyone would call it, the fantasy races, the sci-fi fantasy races that are just super long live, they take a long time to adapt because of their long lives. [SPEAKER_01]: So there's a long [SPEAKER_01]: adapting period of, whoa, society isn't how it used to be. [SPEAKER_01]: What should we do about it? [SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about it. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, shit, five hundred years have already passed. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I just want to do a quick side note into the timeline. [SPEAKER_00]: So around M-thirty is when Slenex is born. [SPEAKER_00]: emperor goes on his great crusade doesn't take very long before horse heresy so on m-thirty ones for m-thirty one horse heresy because begins the jukari started merging from the web way right around m-thirty one m-thirty two and it's it they basically time right after the heresy because they start to figure their stuff out [SPEAKER_00]: This is where now comrades be in the growth. [SPEAKER_00]: They figure out how to, you know, power from pain. [SPEAKER_00]: They figured this out. [SPEAKER_00]: They started to get a little bit more structured, but they're still a pirate kingdom. [SPEAKER_00]: All of the, the major houses don't like each other, all those things. [SPEAKER_00]: So, slavery. [SPEAKER_00]: So, so many fun left turn you. [SPEAKER_00]: Did you curry have slaves? [SPEAKER_01]: Have you had one or two? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so even before the fall, they used slave labor for everything. [SPEAKER_00]: They used them for [SPEAKER_00]: building for fighting. [SPEAKER_01]: This is a big thing because it's hard to change. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because of the fact that we're not using psychic powers to do everything we now need. [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, I used to just think about something and it happened. [SPEAKER_01]: Now I don't think about something and it happens, but I still want it to happen without me getting out of my chair. [SPEAKER_01]: How do I do that? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'll just murder hundreds of thousands of people to make them do this. [SPEAKER_00]: In modern Forty Kay, a lot of the slaves are actually other races of the galaxy, but at this point, and in thirty one in thirty two, they haven't had that much of a rating. [SPEAKER_00]: They can't have their own size. [SPEAKER_00]: It's mostly other elder whooping enslaved. [SPEAKER_00]: And so if you're hearing like a weird tapping or banging sound, that's Brad being a shaken his chair because we're about to talk about, and I can't pronounce this first name. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm so excited you won't continue. [SPEAKER_01]: You're stalling so bad. [SPEAKER_00]: I was dribbled back as dribbled all. [SPEAKER_00]: He's dribbled back. [SPEAKER_00]: Brad loves this guy. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going with that because it's too many letters. [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, that that was one of these slaves. [SPEAKER_00]: He grew up no record of when or where he was born. [SPEAKER_00]: He does claim he was there for the fall, which means he's he is the oldest living being in the galaxy currently. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we'll do a good thing on others. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're at it, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't. [SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, he's older than any town. [SPEAKER_00]: So, we don't know how he became a slave. [SPEAKER_00]: One point is that he was born one, but other things, it's just not very clear. [SPEAKER_00]: But he was in camera. [SPEAKER_00]: The fall happens. [SPEAKER_00]: He later, by the way, takes full credit for all the advancements of the jukari. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a side note of that. [SPEAKER_00]: Vect is kind of actually funny. [SPEAKER_00]: But Vect escapes this slavery, and he just goes the sub-realms of camera, which [SPEAKER_00]: I realized when we talked about high worlds, we talked about how nightmarish the, the, the, the under city of a high world is. [SPEAKER_00]: That is a paradise. [SPEAKER_01]: That's, that's such a joke compared to what that. [SPEAKER_00]: The acromunda is a paradise world of San, you, using cold drinks compared to freaking the sub realm of camera. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, good God. [SPEAKER_00]: But that is a genius. [SPEAKER_01]: He also, he starts Kaiser Zozing everybody. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: He starts playing instantly, playing every single person against each other, but he's a collector of secrets. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Amazing. [SPEAKER_00]: One of the best, let's think espionage and make up a new word. [SPEAKER_00]: But hey, a lot of our listeners have already made up my own word earlier. [SPEAKER_00]: It's fine, yeah, but he's a master of espionage. [SPEAKER_00]: He understands everyone, what they're what they're going on, what their wants, what their desires and he begins to just make all these crazily clever alliances that where effectively every one of his rivals dies and every one of the people who works those rivals start working for him. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, he also has all of the lowborns are his people. [SPEAKER_01]: But he has the thing is, is that he starts with it. [SPEAKER_01]: Back it up real quick. [SPEAKER_01]: We have to say that a lot of these assassinations are all done by lowborns. [SPEAKER_01]: The guy cleaning the guy doing stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's totally the janitorio staff killed so many people. [SPEAKER_00]: I probably should call out that this is a trope because GW uses a lot of them, but I like this trope of him like saying, I'm going to go and take all these lowboard, everyone who lives in the sub realms of camera and I'm going to work. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to help you guys lift yourselves up because that hated the nobility of camera. [SPEAKER_00]: Wow, hated them. [SPEAKER_00]: Eventually, though, this group that he's built within the subrum takes in name. [SPEAKER_00]: And the name is the cult of the Black Heart. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's, it's Brezzly. [SPEAKER_00]: It's all low-born elder. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, later. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, much, much, much later. [SPEAKER_00]: That was a master of cutting the head off the snake where he would just. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, anybody didn't like, yeah, even remotely, he would make sure that leader got murdered. [SPEAKER_01]: And this is the big thing. [SPEAKER_01]: They were always murdered by, hey, man, he was having a murdered by their staff. [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, you want a massage? [SPEAKER_01]: You want it? [SPEAKER_00]: You want it? [SPEAKER_00]: You want it? [SPEAKER_00]: You want it? [SPEAKER_00]: From the guy who caused you every day for twenty years. [SPEAKER_00]: Yep. [SPEAKER_00]: And then that dude, you know, it was like six months ago joined. [SPEAKER_00]: And all of a sudden, he just stabbed you in the face. [SPEAKER_00]: So, within not that long, that takes a completely control effective in the sub-rum, but there's a problem. [SPEAKER_00]: And the problem is that the next step for him is to go out for the nobility. [SPEAKER_00]: To this level, the nobility are unaware of his existence because he's in the sub-rums. [SPEAKER_01]: They don't remember. [SPEAKER_01]: Elder are the hotiest of hotty. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: They could have prevented the fall. [SPEAKER_01]: They did not. [SPEAKER_01]: They disregarded anything that could possibly happen to them because it's beneath them. [SPEAKER_00]: And what happens with this one which's important here is they don't notice a sub room because that also does the thing that you do when you're part of the imperial. [SPEAKER_00]: As long as the sub room doesn't affect the life of the nobility, then ability doesn't care of the sub room. [SPEAKER_00]: So that is down there just killing every other like warlord in the sub room, but making sure all the supplies still go on. [SPEAKER_00]: But he is not done. [SPEAKER_00]: He wants to kill all those nobility. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is where he hits a wall. [SPEAKER_00]: The wall is that while he's got people and he's got motivation, he doesn't have weaponry. [SPEAKER_00]: The nobility have all of the weaponry. [SPEAKER_01]: which is a big deal because their weaponry is so, yeah, wildly better. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll be talking about dark lenses. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just the things that they use. [SPEAKER_00]: You know that's this cast, right? [SPEAKER_00]: You know the next cast, we're going to be spending a bunch of time with so much of value of a poisoning weapon. [SPEAKER_01]: So much poison. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So the issue he runs into is he can't attack. [SPEAKER_00]: Because if you wanted to, [SPEAKER_00]: He might, he might be able to take one of the main houses down, but the other two would just counterattack and kill him and his entire cult. [SPEAKER_00]: With a quickness. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, so he needed someone else through the work form and he settles on the perfect group, the Imperium. [SPEAKER_00]: That, then this, this story is awesome, by the way. [SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the better ones. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the visualizations they draw out. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not doing it just as, but we're going to do this. [SPEAKER_01]: It, this is so great because it's such a ridiculous, yes, this guy is leading stuff into a trap, but the impairments doesn't care. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the impairments just so bad. [SPEAKER_00]: So that, that starts out of the out of the sub realm, starts doing raids on one imperial outpost over and over and over again. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's a nasty rates. [SPEAKER_00]: He's doing it for a reason because he knows the impairments will respond. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, instead of doing lightning strike raids, he's doing just raids where he's meandering about, basically looking right in the security cameras and giving him the finger guns and going, oh, I hope I don't get caught on video. [SPEAKER_01]: I hope no one comes here to do anything about it. [SPEAKER_01]: Hope no one sees where I'm going as he's putting arrows up in a PowerPoint presentation about where he's leaving too. [SPEAKER_00]: So, the Imperium, and we felt it had no other choice to decide to go deal with this problem. [SPEAKER_00]: And they send a Salamander Strike Force call, with a Strike Critical, the Four-Channel. [SPEAKER_00]: instantly to say. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he plans it out. [SPEAKER_00]: He uses melted bombs at the table. [SPEAKER_00]: It comes in and captures the ship. [SPEAKER_00]: The key thing here is he captures the ship. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't kill the people on the ship. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he doesn't even defeat any. [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't even try to get inside. [SPEAKER_00]: He just jumps. [SPEAKER_00]: He just jumps with a bridge. [SPEAKER_00]: He just tugboat drags him away and pulls it. [SPEAKER_00]: Takes this ship and pulls it through a web way into the camera. [SPEAKER_00]: And a couple of key things here. [SPEAKER_00]: First, [SPEAKER_00]: He, to my point about him not touching anybody else, he leaves all of the space Marines, and most importantly, one of their key librarians who sends out a distress signal to the entire of the Imperium saying, we were under attack, we've been captured, come get us, and sets a psychic beacon. [SPEAKER_00]: The second is that when he brings this vessel back into camera, does it in the most public way possible? [SPEAKER_00]: Make sure everyone sees what he does. [SPEAKER_01]: He basically goes and sets out a PSA. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He's like somebody who's with fireworks. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a full parade. [SPEAKER_00]: And then he drops it right in the dead center of where the three main houses of the nobles are. [SPEAKER_00]: And he does all this because the dude's a genius. [SPEAKER_00]: They on cue, the first noble house runs up out of nowhere and yells at Vect and says, this is my plunder now. [SPEAKER_00]: Get out of here. [SPEAKER_00]: Do which Vect goes, yes sir, no problem, sir, let me get out of the way. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm really sorry about this. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you can absolutely have this ship. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is my favorite part of the story. [SPEAKER_01]: And with the best part is the ships, full of Marines. [SPEAKER_00]: And the Marines are watching us happen. [SPEAKER_00]: The Marines just watch their ships stop moving. [SPEAKER_00]: And so this, [SPEAKER_00]: It is quite funny actually. [SPEAKER_00]: This noble grabs his like retinue, like I've been yelled at for getting this wrong retinue and military. [SPEAKER_00]: Open basically opens a door of a ship. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, with two salamanders. [SPEAKER_01]: We have all of the flames of all time. [SPEAKER_00]: She is blast the ever-living shit out of this guy. [SPEAKER_00]: And the space means began just fighting back at a vectoriz at this point, just gone, like whatever. [SPEAKER_00]: That noble runs away. [SPEAKER_00]: And actually, the fight as he runs away tells fact, actually, you can have the salvage. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't worry about it. [SPEAKER_00]: But then comes part two. [SPEAKER_00]: Part two is the sky above comma explodes as a bunch of space marine craft. [SPEAKER_00]: This name is almost coming to rescue their brethren. [SPEAKER_00]: how they're able to breach the web way. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, and I don't care because of stories awesome. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, they come in there. [SPEAKER_00]: And as soon as, so this is a, there's a strike cruiser that's already there. [SPEAKER_00]: This is a new, I forget how many ships come in with the centimeters to come capture it. [SPEAKER_00]: They begin blasting in Decomra. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they start duking everything. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just what, what, how we're everything. [SPEAKER_00]: All now all the citizens of Comora are like, well, this isn't cool. [SPEAKER_00]: So now your scoreges, your incubi, your everything begin firing back up into this. [SPEAKER_00]: And the space screens realize pretty quickly. [SPEAKER_00]: Actually, we got to get the hell out of here. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot more than we thought. [SPEAKER_00]: Like this isn't like we're coming to Newcast City. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, it turns out we're not going to do that. [SPEAKER_00]: And so they, the space brooines, boogie back out of the web way. [SPEAKER_01]: Plus on that, the space marines to give the space marines credit, especially my boys, the selling vendors. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they ruin the place. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's the part they. [SPEAKER_01]: They wreck the shit out of it. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll put it this way. [SPEAKER_01]: Nukes were the least effective weapon that was being used. [SPEAKER_00]: And they were using a lot of them. [SPEAKER_00]: They took out everything. [SPEAKER_00]: The main thing though is they did the city, not the suburbs. [SPEAKER_00]: So as soon as the space marines leave, the damage and remember, this was all happening right above the main section of the city. [SPEAKER_00]: So they were, and again, and we say, say, we're not going to New York. [SPEAKER_00]: We're saying, I say, city, I mean, the entirety of the European continent. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's just getting nuked and blasted. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is where all of these noble houses were. [SPEAKER_00]: These noble houses are wrecked. [SPEAKER_00]: They have nothing. [SPEAKER_00]: And then that comes firing off out of the sub-round with what might be a billion soldiers and just quickly kills [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, everybody. [SPEAKER_01]: They remember he already has been completely insidiously. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, building, building towards, just with a perfectly, everyone that's not a noble that's in those houses, everybody that's a cook, a cleaner, or whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: They're already, they're in. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So they're just stabbing people in the face. [SPEAKER_01]: They're ready to go. [SPEAKER_00]: Very quick revolution. [SPEAKER_00]: that kills every noble leader and stills himself as the leader of college. [SPEAKER_01]: And when we say every noble leader, it's a, it's the red wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: He kills and this is the one of the most intelligent Eldar to ever live acting out acting on a plan that requires him to be successful in all of his murder. [SPEAKER_01]: This is the end of Godfather. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: He kills every leader, all of them. [SPEAKER_00]: At this stage, I mean, I will say, no, I made here is that this is an amazing thing for Commer, post that taking over Commer as well. [SPEAKER_00]: That's amazing for Commer. [SPEAKER_00]: The worst thing for the galaxy. [SPEAKER_00]: All right, call it crap. [SPEAKER_00]: So now that he's in charge, that just starts instituting all of these changes. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, that is again, he's a genius leader. [SPEAKER_00]: So all of his changes are done to benefit all of Commer. [SPEAKER_00]: That is a master of what I call the fifty one forty nine deal. [SPEAKER_00]: Every deal he does he gets fifty one percent of it and the other guy gets forty nine. [SPEAKER_00]: No one's upset. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're also and he also says you're in charge of doing everything. [SPEAKER_00]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: As long as I get my fifty one year thing, he also again Kaiser says everything, which is I think I'm working for a fact, but I'm not a hundred percent sure. [SPEAKER_01]: And he does that with everything. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, that is. [SPEAKER_00]: We're good. [SPEAKER_01]: He's what we'll get into more. [SPEAKER_01]: He's was one of them. [SPEAKER_01]: He's such my favorite because of the fact that he's constantly just showing and he's like doing undercover boss all the time, too. [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, hey man, what do you think about that? [SPEAKER_01]: That guy's like, I don't really like him. [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, ah, that's tap. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, I am that guy. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: The worst in the cover boss ever. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, what do you think? [SPEAKER_01]: Bad decision you. [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, did Ted just kill someone? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this stupid head. [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm gonna do right now? [SPEAKER_00]: I did test the model. [SPEAKER_01]: which one? [SPEAKER_00]: The original, the what the big, the giant boat. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he had two. [SPEAKER_01]: He had he had he had vecten robes. [SPEAKER_01]: And he had vect riding with Blake like like on a chain. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So I did test the models. [SPEAKER_00]: I was super happy. [SPEAKER_01]: I have like ten of those because they kept giving them all his prize support back in the day. [SPEAKER_00]: I want him to get new model. [SPEAKER_00]: That's why I think he's I love. [SPEAKER_01]: He's not in the game. [SPEAKER_01]: He's the most awesome model. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm getting my cheetah together. [SPEAKER_00]: This is the, I do it. [SPEAKER_00]: They're bright angry class. [SPEAKER_00]: So mad. [SPEAKER_01]: He's not a model, in the game. [SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't a model in the game. [SPEAKER_01]: He's the leader of the dark city. [SPEAKER_01]: God, why is fact not in the game? [SPEAKER_00]: Because slenash doesn't have a model. [SPEAKER_00]: I would argue the reason fact doesn't have a model is because fact is he is so important that there's no scenario he would be on a battlefield. [SPEAKER_01]: He's wildly opaque, by the way. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a that's a daily like I don't he has all he has gear upon gear upon gear upon that's why is it? [SPEAKER_00]: It's like he can't he wouldn't make sense in the game on a table top. [SPEAKER_01]: He's for the cost like nine hundred points. [SPEAKER_00]: I've got like nine thousand you shouldn't be able to use him in a two thousand point game because there's no sin that he has all the forgotten he stones so much tech from ever it's that he's but if that appeared on the table what would appear around him? [SPEAKER_00]: would be a hundred thousand points. [SPEAKER_01]: So you're your own army would turn against you. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he already bought half of them. [SPEAKER_00]: That's it. [SPEAKER_00]: But if you're if you're running, it would only work in apocalypse because they're just this guy. [SPEAKER_01]: His special role is you get a quarter of your opponents army. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just that there's no, and you couldn't, are you playing Jukari? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they have that. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I guess I'm not playing Jukari. [SPEAKER_00]: They all, they all turn in front. [SPEAKER_00]: You walk over the other side of the board like, hello, friend. [SPEAKER_00]: I guess we're playing. [SPEAKER_00]: Who's next? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so that's why he can't have one, but it's diatribe. [SPEAKER_00]: That get this stage Redo's cover. [SPEAKER_00]: All right, where he does his first CD does he actually converts his cult to a cabal. [SPEAKER_00]: It means basically the same thing, but they become he makes the first cabal, which is the cabal of the black heart. [SPEAKER_00]: The next thing he does is he changes the name. [SPEAKER_00]: At this point, the dark elder of the city were calling themselves Eldar. [SPEAKER_00]: He refers to it as Eldrath Tenais, or dark elder. [SPEAKER_00]: But later, and I'm more recently, he changes that name from Dark Elder to Drew Carrey, because he discovered that he couldn't get intellectual power. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he couldn't get intellectual power. [SPEAKER_01]: He discovered he couldn't get an IP on it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so it turns out intellectual property doesn't work on Dark Elder, but it doesn't Drew Carrey. [SPEAKER_00]: So that got involved. [SPEAKER_00]: And like, no, you know what? [SPEAKER_00]: I'm renaming us again. [SPEAKER_01]: Didn't realize he was such a patent lawyer all the time. [SPEAKER_00]: But it's again, this is the first of three. [SPEAKER_00]: It's quite a little bit shorter. [SPEAKER_00]: So from there, I think this is a good stop for us to break because next week we're going to dive much more aggressively into the dark. [SPEAKER_00]: Eldar. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to do a whole chunk on raids on how they function all this stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: The Jew car yard. [SPEAKER_01]: They're still in there. [SPEAKER_01]: They would be more and we'll get into this more. [SPEAKER_01]: But one of the scariest parts about Dark Eldar is they still have such disdain. [SPEAKER_01]: These are the original. [SPEAKER_01]: These are the guys that didn't learn their lesson from the fall because they're just doing it. [SPEAKER_01]: But they're so disdainful and kind of sending of everything else in the galaxy. [SPEAKER_01]: Their raids could be galaxy-wide devastation, but they don't because all they want is [SPEAKER_01]: people to torture and slaves and stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: And you're like, you're not trying to conquer them. [SPEAKER_01]: They're like, why wouldn't we conquer you? [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, why would I care? [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to live in your gross planet. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: You're your places to pointless and disgusting. [SPEAKER_01]: Why would I have this? [SPEAKER_01]: The paradise world to you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: This is trash. [SPEAKER_01]: This is a bad neighborhood. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just Toledo. [SPEAKER_00]: We're also going to warn you guys, there's gonna be a lot of complaining in this couple of casts because as much as Eldar oftentimes, they would match the Lord the table top, Drew Carrey, they don't. [SPEAKER_00]: And it drives both Brad and I insane. [SPEAKER_00]: Just never stupid Raider, stupid Raider. [SPEAKER_00]: Which is should move forty inches? [SPEAKER_01]: Which is period? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, which is like yeah Not having all the unique hitting of the shihun ones Anyway, all right, but with that this has been John Barsade and Brad Jester. [SPEAKER_00]: This guy. [SPEAKER_00]: See you guys next week [UNKNOWN]: you
