<v Speaker 3>ad On Hottis that there were things that they would
<v Speaker 3>make that we didn't even know was out there.

<v Speaker 2>All right, So let let's go and let's look at
<v Speaker 2>all of your figures that we have today. Let's do
<v Speaker 2>it all right. First up, we have your first ever
<v Speaker 2>figure ECW Divon Dudley, featuring your pivot punch, a lot
<v Speaker 2>of pivot punching.
<v Speaker 3>I could say that I did and I didn't. I
<v Speaker 3>don't know if I used too many trash cans. And
<v Speaker 3>that's why when I first sort of action figured, I
<v Speaker 3>was a little spectacle about it because of the trash can.
<v Speaker 3>At that point in time, Bubba and I hadn't really
<v Speaker 3>done tables. We had done everything but tables at that point. Now,
<v Speaker 3>the one that did bring it out.
<v Speaker 2>Was new Jack.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, he did yes, and it was a crazy story.
<v Speaker 3>Some fan came to me and showed me that this
<v Speaker 3>actual box. I guess the manufacturing must have made a
<v Speaker 3>mistake and put new Jack in there. Okay, and it
<v Speaker 3>was supposed to have been a Devon, but it was
<v Speaker 3>new Jack and he held it on for many years. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>he said, one day I want to be able to
<v Speaker 3>show you this, and this is the time to show you.
<v Speaker 3>It came and showed me and he was like, how
<v Speaker 3>did they get that mixed up? I said, what if?
<v Speaker 3>Probably thought all black people look like, oh my god, Jesus,
<v Speaker 3>come on. Do you remember when this figure came out?
<v Speaker 3>Do you remember the feeling? Did you even care that
<v Speaker 3>you were getting a figure?
<v Speaker 2>I did?
<v Speaker 3>To me, it was huge. I had never had anything
<v Speaker 3>like this before, a video game, nothing, So when I
<v Speaker 3>first saw myself, I was very impressed. Number one and
<v Speaker 3>number two. I was very excited, really excited because the
<v Speaker 3>twins who are wrestling now, they were like four or five.
<v Speaker 3>And when I came home with that and I showed them,
<v Speaker 3>they were like jumping for joy, right, you know, because
<v Speaker 3>like Daddy's on an action figure. This was great And
<v Speaker 3>that just showed me that I had finally arrived. Yes,
<v Speaker 3>I mean I'm a huge ECW fan. I was a
<v Speaker 3>kid when these came out Attitude era and then like
<v Speaker 3>you jumped to WWF, but these figures as a kid,
<v Speaker 3>I can still play with these until you get the
<v Speaker 3>WF figures.
<v Speaker 2>So it was perfect and all. You probably don't know this,
<v Speaker 2>but like all these figures have unique bodies, so like
<v Speaker 2>no one else has this divon arm. You know, everything's
<v Speaker 2>unique to the wrestler and this real nerd stuff. But
<v Speaker 2>that's what made this ECW line so special is that nowadays,
<v Speaker 2>you know, people have the same legs, the same arms,
<v Speaker 2>that everyone had unique parts and just made every figure
<v Speaker 2>that much more special.
<v Speaker 3>I mean that's the way it was back then. They
<v Speaker 3>wanted to try to make it set it from everybody
<v Speaker 3>else so you wouldn't mistaken it was who and you
<v Speaker 3>always knew if you studied pro wrestling like that, what
<v Speaker 3>their arms looked like, what their legs looked like, the
<v Speaker 3>tattoos and all of that. So it really meant something
<v Speaker 3>back then.
<v Speaker 2>So who do you think sold more figures? You were
<v Speaker 2>Bubba Oh I did. Sorry, by just being honest, I did.

<v Speaker 2>No WWF Rulers of the Ring, Devon Dudley, you remember
<v Speaker 2>this absolutely.
<v Speaker 3>It was our WrestleMania, the one where we did the
<v Speaker 3>ladder match with Edgend Christian and the Hartis And that
<v Speaker 3>was the look that was given for that WrestleMania. Now,
<v Speaker 3>when I saw that, that was when I really knew
<v Speaker 3>I had arrived. Yeah, I got an action figure after
<v Speaker 3>being on WrestleMania, creating history. Didn't know that those ladder
<v Speaker 3>match in TLC match would still be talked about thirty
<v Speaker 3>years later, but it did. And just to have my
<v Speaker 3>action figure in w mean because remember me growing up
<v Speaker 3>as a kid, you know, I played with Hogan's figures, Andre,
<v Speaker 3>Roddy Piper, you know, Jake the Snake, Steamboat. I'm the
<v Speaker 3>kid playing with them. Oh absolutely, I did. Absolutely Hogan
<v Speaker 3>won every time. I was such a huge ho Cogan mark.
<v Speaker 3>But no, it was one of those things where I
<v Speaker 3>felt like a sense of accomplishment, you know, because I
<v Speaker 3>had finally made it to my childhood dream.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm glad you said that because a lot of
<v Speaker 2>the guys that. When I first came into the business,
<v Speaker 2>I was afraid to say that I collected figures, and
<v Speaker 2>I didn't, you know, because you know, if I saw
<v Speaker 2>you in the locker room, I'd respect you to shake
<v Speaker 2>your hand, but then like I'd also be buying your
<v Speaker 2>figure at Target a walk. So like I came in
<v Speaker 2>in a weird spot, you know, because most of the wrestlers,
<v Speaker 2>they didn't grow up like playing with them, so I
<v Speaker 2>couldn't like they couldn't relate to me.
<v Speaker 3>My my thing, my thing has always been this. We
<v Speaker 3>all are what they call marks, you know, over the
<v Speaker 3>top fans. We were all like that, because if we weren't,
<v Speaker 3>we wouldn't have been in this business. So to not
<v Speaker 3>credit that. As you get into the business and become
<v Speaker 3>popular and well known, why wouldn't you acknowledge that, you know,
<v Speaker 3>because again, we all came from something, and if it
<v Speaker 3>meant being an over the top fan, then why not
<v Speaker 3>admit that?
<v Speaker 2>I agree? So so back to this figure. This is
<v Speaker 2>what I was talking about earlier, Like other people had
<v Speaker 2>these arms, other people had like this chest, but this
<v Speaker 2>was the original. You know, this is your head. Obviously
<v Speaker 2>they scanned you, do you remember getting scanned?
<v Speaker 3>I remember getting scanned out of that. But I told him,
<v Speaker 3>I was like, could you have left the gap out?
<v Speaker 2>No more gap? No more gap ught to you by invisible.
<v Speaker 2>But this this is cool because the sunglasses come on removable.
<v Speaker 2>But as a kid playing, it was a pain of
<v Speaker 2>the ass if you if you lost these, oh forgiven these,
<v Speaker 2>oh man brutal.
<v Speaker 3>Like I remember Jake the Snake had, you know, his
<v Speaker 3>action figure. He had the snake and I was visibly
<v Speaker 3>upset because my little brother, who was playing with my
<v Speaker 3>figures and I told him, don't play with my figures
<v Speaker 3>when I'm not home, he played with it and lost
<v Speaker 3>the little rubberd snake.
<v Speaker 2>That went around. I was, I was so upset. I
<v Speaker 2>feel your pain. Needless to say, he got ass whipping
<v Speaker 2>that name. All right, let's check out the next one.
<v Speaker 2>All right, so this isn't your next one, but this
<v Speaker 2>is like, this is the Jacks is the ruthless Aggression era,
<v Speaker 2>because in between the one I just showed him this,
<v Speaker 2>you probably had like twenty different figures. Yes, you were,
<v Speaker 2>you were too over devon. You know you even had a
<v Speaker 2>three pack with the rock.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it was with the Rock, And that was the
<v Speaker 3>one that Basically, I was like, damn, I really made it,
<v Speaker 3>you know, I mean the rock was hacked back then
<v Speaker 3>and needed to put me and Bubba both in a
<v Speaker 3>three pack with him. That was great because we had
<v Speaker 3>done many matches together, right, you know, as teammates, and
<v Speaker 3>then we you know, done many matches where we were
<v Speaker 3>beating his ass. Yes, So for that to have happened
<v Speaker 3>that was great. And then to have this during the
<v Speaker 3>Ruthless Aggression era, it was kind of like, Okay, this
<v Speaker 3>is like I think one of our last action figures
<v Speaker 3>that were made right before we left in two thousand
<v Speaker 3>and five.
<v Speaker 2>So is this after Reverend Devon? This is after Reverend
<v Speaker 2>Are you upset that Reverend Devon never got a figure? Damn?
<v Speaker 3>I think I think Reverend Devon needs a figure point

<v Speaker 3>blah blah blah. You think you can give me your
<v Speaker 3>business card or something we can maybe make this work.
<v Speaker 3>And I'm like, yeah, ure, let's do it. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 3>And I thought about it. I was like, it's not
<v Speaker 3>w W A right, So am I really going to
<v Speaker 3>be satisfied with what they make?
<v Speaker 2>No?
<v Speaker 3>And I'm glad you did, you know, convince them, because
<v Speaker 3>no one else makes action figures like w W people say.
<v Speaker 3>And with that being said, that just proves right there
<v Speaker 3>that looking at this figure compared to when people make
<v Speaker 3>other figures that don't really look like us or represents us,
<v Speaker 3>that's proof and the pudding right there that that is
<v Speaker 3>the place to have make action figures. So again I
<v Speaker 3>was very happy and content with that. And again it
<v Speaker 3>was during the ruless aggression. Never remind events always. During
<v Speaker 3>this time, he was looking to bring a new generation
<v Speaker 3>of people in so to be able to still be
<v Speaker 3>in vents his eyes as being able to be made
<v Speaker 3>money off of and things like that.
<v Speaker 2>That was huge. So what's with this yellow cameo? Look
<v Speaker 2>whose idea was did the switch to yellow? I did?
<v Speaker 2>That was your idea, because.
<v Speaker 3>I went I was tired of the regular black and
<v Speaker 3>white and this, and then I wanted something a little different.
<v Speaker 3>And where I got the cameos from was an Army
<v Speaker 3>and Navy store in Cocoa Beach, and I went in
<v Speaker 3>and I saw all these different color I was like, oh,
<v Speaker 3>this is great. So I went and bought one. I said, Bubba,
<v Speaker 3>I said, we need to do this, and then I
<v Speaker 3>remember Bubble going, well, can you get me a pair?
<v Speaker 3>I was like, yeah, So I got them a pair,
<v Speaker 3>and then we started using that one. I used that one.
<v Speaker 3>We did purple, white and black. I remember that I
<v Speaker 3>got teased by Jerdy King Laula going, I know, Bonnie's purple,
<v Speaker 3>but Dudley's divan. But it was we were trying to
<v Speaker 3>just I was trying to just do different things, different look.
<v Speaker 3>Even though we wanted to stay camo, I wanted to
<v Speaker 3>change the colors up at.
<v Speaker 2>Least say one thing. So I'm really ain'tal about my
<v Speaker 2>figure is one thing I don't like about this. There's
<v Speaker 2>no wrist tape, no finger tape. Yeah, they lift it out,
<v Speaker 2>but they put it on the picture. It's on the package.
<v Speaker 2>You clearly see that's what it's but it's not even
<v Speaker 2>the cameo is not the best there. Yeah, no, I
<v Speaker 2>was kind of they're cheaping out in the deco. Hits right,
<v Speaker 2>there's real nerd talk. But yeah, this is your last
<v Speaker 2>figure in w as a while. Yeah, could you jump
<v Speaker 2>ship up with the territory? Yep? And I believe yeah,
<v Speaker 2>we sold out, as they like to say, Well, let's

<v Speaker 3>At one point in my career, the chain, you know,
<v Speaker 3>never came off, never came off never. I wore the
<v Speaker 3>chain all through and I know there was a couple
<v Speaker 3>of times I was told that why are you wearing
<v Speaker 3>the chain in the ring? Wrestlers don't wear change in
<v Speaker 3>the ring, And to me, it was my style and
<v Speaker 3>I wanted to keep it up, and I thought I
<v Speaker 3>was gonna get heat from it, and not that I
<v Speaker 3>didn't care, but I was gonna take a chance.

<v Speaker 2>It was like, you know, do it and ask for

<v Speaker 3>So it kind of for me, it set the trend
<v Speaker 3>for everything when TNA did that, because again, it showed

<v Speaker 3>I never take it off. And that was one of
<v Speaker 3>the things that when I go to ade autograph signings
<v Speaker 3>and things like that, people ask me, is that the
<v Speaker 3>chain that you've been wearing your whole career? Go, yep,
<v Speaker 3>this is wow. I've never this is the same chain.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't with the exception of the ring, but this
<v Speaker 3>is the same change since ninety seven.

<v Speaker 3>independent show. And the independent show got to cease and
<v Speaker 3>dismissed letter. And when that happened, we were like, what
<v Speaker 3>the hell is going on? So we went and got
<v Speaker 3>a lawyer, and the lawyer said, yeah, they're claiming that
<v Speaker 3>they own the rights to it. Now we can do
<v Speaker 3>one or two things. We could fight this, or we
<v Speaker 3>can just make up a new name. But if you
<v Speaker 3>fight this, you know, Vince can have you tied up
<v Speaker 3>in court for so long boy that by the time
<v Speaker 3>you even if you did win, you would have lost
<v Speaker 3>more money that you spent trying to fight this. So

<v Speaker 3>doing tied eye, you weren't doing Camo, just plain black pants.

<v Speaker 2>a kind of a weird one. This just came out recently.
<v Speaker 2>This is based on your return to WWE from what
<v Speaker 2>year is at twenty sixteen fifteen, so that was already released,
<v Speaker 2>but this is like an update of that figure. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if you even know that. Yeah, okay, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>so this is from the vault. It's called like that.
<v Speaker 2>That figure is so sought after they brought it out
<v Speaker 2>of the vault. Look at that. That's how over you are.
<v Speaker 2>I like it. So this one has all the detail.
<v Speaker 2>It has the red camo, has the chain, has the glasses,
<v Speaker 2>has the tape your tattoos. I mean, this might be
<v Speaker 2>the best I think it is.
<v Speaker 3>And the thing about that one is even the box
<v Speaker 3>is cool looking. Yeah, you know. So I really enjoyed
<v Speaker 3>that one when it first came out.
<v Speaker 2>I was very excited. It was almost like getting my
<v Speaker 2>first action figure cause it looked so good. So I
<v Speaker 2>remember being in the locker room when you guys came
<v Speaker 2>back in Brooklyn, and the locker room was not happy
<v Speaker 2>that Bubba was coming back. But that was the first
<v Speaker 2>time I got to work with you and Bubba like
<v Speaker 2>in the ring or even like just be around you guys,
<v Speaker 2>because like you know, you were in the business before
<v Speaker 2>I got into the business, and we just were never
<v Speaker 2>in the same place. That's the first time I ever
<v Speaker 2>wrestled you was in this WWE, and I remember putting
<v Speaker 2>the match together with you. We had a singles match.
<v Speaker 2>It was so easy, and then Bubba came and made
<v Speaker 2>it so complicated. You're not even of the match. Damn it, Bubba.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if you remember this, but in the
<v Speaker 2>match or somethinghere where Bubba pops up on the apron
<v Speaker 2>and I nail him and I busted his nose open,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm like, oh no, but I got through the curtain.
<v Speaker 2>Everyone and Gorillas clapped, But Bama hates when I tell
<v Speaker 2>that story. I'm sorry, but the boys loved it. Like
<v Speaker 2>I thought I was gonna get here, I got hit
<v Speaker 2>with Bubba from everyone else, like yeah, so it was worth.
<v Speaker 2>It was worth with everybody in the Lacker room. But
<v Speaker 2>you were like yeah, but how was it when you
<v Speaker 2>came back all those years later at Barclay Center. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>that noise, that pop, it was unreal.
<v Speaker 3>It was unreal, and I never thought that him and
<v Speaker 3>I would receive an ovation like that. I mean it
<v Speaker 3>was incredible. And to know that there were new WWE
<v Speaker 3>fans that kind of knew who we were, but didn't
<v Speaker 3>know who we were. They weren't there, or that they
<v Speaker 3>weren't born during the time that me and Bubba did
<v Speaker 3>ec W and of course the very first run of WWE,
<v Speaker 3>they weren't there. But at the time the network was
<v Speaker 3>pumping out a lot of stuff about us, trying to
<v Speaker 3>educate the new fans on who the Dudleys really were.
<v Speaker 3>So when we came out, I just didn't think the
<v Speaker 3>ovation would have been as loud as it was. But again,
<v Speaker 3>it's Brooklyn, New York. I'm born and raised in Brooklyn.
<v Speaker 3>Bubba was from Queens and lived in Long Island after that,
<v Speaker 3>so it was like a homecoming, yes, and anytime Bubba
<v Speaker 3>and I had ever been in New York that was
<v Speaker 3>what we got. But again, to do that on the
<v Speaker 3>scale of a WWE and to have that many people
<v Speaker 3>in a building, and then when that Pyro hit, that
<v Speaker 3>was the one thing I loved about it because also
<v Speaker 3>was because social media never got their hands on it
<v Speaker 3>to let it know, even you guys in the bad.

<v Speaker 3>New Day came in and saw us for the first time.
<v Speaker 3>What a night, What a reaction it was.
<v Speaker 2>It was great. And you got two figures out of it.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I got two figures and that's identical.
<v Speaker 2>Well, this was a better version of the other one.
<v Speaker 2>Pretty cool that your figure was so good they had
<v Speaker 2>to do it again.
<v Speaker 3>Absolutely, And one of the greatest things also, I thought,
<v Speaker 3>was that the fact that you know, you guys, that
<v Speaker 3>the newer generation had welcomed us with open arms. It
<v Speaker 3>was that was one of my biggest fear of not
<v Speaker 3>being able to be welcomed back, because I remember during
<v Speaker 3>the Attitude ere when so many of the guys from
<v Speaker 3>Andre and Hogan Era and even Dusty and Flair Era
<v Speaker 3>would come into the locker room and guys like, Oh,
<v Speaker 3>what the hell these old farts doing right? And I
<v Speaker 3>thought that that was going to be the same reception,
<v Speaker 3>but it wasn't. So we were eager and very honored
<v Speaker 3>to be able to be in there with the new day,
<v Speaker 3>with you guys, the USO's and all of that, the
<v Speaker 3>Wyatt family. So we were really happy that you guys
<v Speaker 3>welcomed us into your locker room. It used to be ours,
<v Speaker 3>but we were gone, we straight away from home, not
<v Speaker 3>by choice, but we left and you guys took over.
<v Speaker 3>So it was our job to make you guys feel
<v Speaker 3>comfortable with us.
<v Speaker 2>Well, thank you, because we got to you know, wrestle guys.
<v Speaker 2>We grew up rest like we've got to wrestle guys.
<v Speaker 2>We grew up idolizing guys, We grew up watching wrestle.
<v Speaker 2>So you guys taught us so much or in and

<v Speaker 3>Sure, I mean it was great, And I think that
<v Speaker 3>was one of the things I was nervous about in
<v Speaker 3>terms of becoming a producer, because after working with you
<v Speaker 3>guys on that scale, I didn't know how it would
<v Speaker 3>be perceived as a producer, because the producer is a
<v Speaker 3>different ballgame than it is talent. And now I'm taking
<v Speaker 3>my ideas and trying to give it to you because
<v Speaker 3>this is the vision that the office wanted. Would you
<v Speaker 3>accept me being a producer being able to do that?

<v Speaker 3>an ECW look, but he wanted a w W E look.
<v Speaker 3>So we had to go back to the drawing board
<v Speaker 3>and change and that's what we came in with the camels.
<v Speaker 3>But it was one of those things where you know,
<v Speaker 3>I was very happy to be able to see this
<v Speaker 3>these action figures in that kind of ECW setting because
<v Speaker 3>it brought back so many memories and it was so detailed.
<v Speaker 2>At all this there's so much stuff. It's great.
<v Speaker 3>Not to mention again I said it. On the other one,
<v Speaker 3>the box alone looked just really cool, and to me,
<v Speaker 3>that's always a selling point with me. If the presentation
<v Speaker 3>on the outside looks good, I want to see what's
<v Speaker 3>on the inside.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely again, all the fingertape, the wrist tape, but this
<v Speaker 2>one has the ECW tag team titles, the perfect window
<v Speaker 2>to sign and make money, right, That's it. That's the
<v Speaker 2>most important part. Listen, how's that window making the money?
<v Speaker 2>That's all I want. Keep those action figures coming. So yeah,
<v Speaker 2>this one. So many fans were excited for this because finally,
<v Speaker 2>you know, you guys are back in the Mattel families

<v Speaker 2>the Yellow Camo. I think they can make a Reverend

<v Speaker 2>have those legends deals, you know, the skies, the women
<v Speaker 2>and what figures they can.
<v Speaker 3>Make absolutely, I mean, they can't go on and on,
<v Speaker 3>and I think that's the great part about it. Not
<v Speaker 3>only and this is something that I'm looking at right now.
<v Speaker 3>Not only in front is cool, but the back is cool.
<v Speaker 3>You know, look at the back, and then it has
<v Speaker 3>a little story behind it, right, you know, so for
<v Speaker 3>those little kids that still don't know who we are,
<v Speaker 3>it gives a good story about who we are and
<v Speaker 3>then going in and then look us up.
<v Speaker 2>I think my personal favorite of all the Dudly Boys
