We were just having a conversation about how Drew. You know, some some people have have kids and they're like, oh, you don't see him for a while. Yeah, like they don't leave their house and they become like, you know, they're like you see them again, like two years, and Drew is already like Drew's talking about like going to poker Night and bringing bo tonight. 00:01:34 Speaker 5: Don't they still smoking bingo holes? 00:01:36 Speaker 3: Yeah, she's not gonna smoke Avery. It's nice having you, but you ain't messing up Poker Knight. 00:01:43 Speaker 6: My thought with Bingo is you get two cards per person and I'll get hurt too and play. So I'm kind of doubling MODDS tonight. 00:01:49 Speaker 3: Which then led me to think about I have these friends Shannon that that their baby. I don't know how it was. It was less than a year, and they met me in Europe when I went to Europe a couple of years ago. And it just occurred to me last night in talking to a friend of mine, I was like, I wonder did they get the baby a passport? Because like, you can't just get on the plane with an unmarked baby. I would think people question you at the border if you're just carrying on babies. But then it's kind of weird to think of a baby getting a passport, right, like, like do they go, sit up, turn to the right, don't smile, don't smile, look into camera. Baby, And then you know you have passports for ten years when the baby is eight. Is it still showing the baby passport? 00:02:44 Speaker 7: Yeah? 00:02:45 Speaker 3: I think so. And when you get to the TSA agent, how does the TSA agent know it's the right baby. 00:02:53 Speaker 5: Technology? 00:02:55 Speaker 3: They always, oh, there's a passport with a baby on it. There's an example is that it expires like ten years later. So yeah, can you imagine an eleven year old just with a baby pit picture and going here, let. 00:03:08 Speaker 5: Me like, why do you have your baby? Pick? Can I take my baby picture in there and get a passport with it? 00:03:12 Speaker 3: Well, I mean it lasts for ten years in theory, So I just think, you know, these are just little things that you don't that I had never thought about. All right, I want to go with a couple of things. I want to play it before I'm gonna go right back to phones for polite Matt but there's a couple of time sensitive things I want to play. Is this fair? Okay? Normally we have three judges, today we just have two, Drew and Shannon. Is this fair? A lot of you are probably paying attention. There's a primary election in Nebraska today. Oh man, up all night thinking about it. Let me give you the standards real quick, because there's two candidates in that both that people think both might be unfair, and you have to decide is this fair. The Republicans have the guy that's the senator, he's running he'll have the Republican nomination. There's a guy who's running against him, who has a real shot to win in the general election. He's an independent. Being a Democrat in Nebraska is like not the most popular thing in the world. So he's running as an independent, and Shannon, he has a real chance for a military guy. Blah blah blah blaha. So the Democrats are in a weird spot. If they run somebody for real, it'll take away votes from this guy, Shannon, and they'd rather that guy win. You see what I'm saying. I'm the Republican wine. So both parties are doing something a little suspect, and I want to see if you all think it's fair. The Democrats are running a person who has said, elect me the primary nominee and then I'll drop out. Oh tanking, Yeah, elect me the primary nominee and I'll drop out so the independent can win. All right. The Republicans, seeing that this was probably gonna work, have run a person who's a far right wing Republican as a Democrat, hoping they get the nomination, so they have to stay in and in theory take away votes from the independent. See what I'm saying, I'm with you. So is it fair for neither of these candidates who really have any intention of wanting to be the Senator to run? 00:05:22 Speaker 6: I'm saying no, for both of them, or one of them the running someone intentionally to just quit. I'm a hard knowing that I already think a lot of politics it's a clown show and people aren't serious and doing the right thing anyway. 00:05:34 Speaker 3: And that just adds What if they say up front, I'm going to quit. 00:05:37 Speaker 4: That's stupid. That's where they made their mistake. Why say that? 00:05:42 Speaker 3: Because the theory is that the Democrats in Nebraska will know what she's doing. They just have an election, you know, what about the guy who's running for the other party just to sabotage it. I give him a little more lancy because the other side is being shady first. It's almost like a response to what they did. At the same time. I don't think it was. I don't love either way. I don't know which one was fin actually, so I'm not sure which one was. 00:06:06 Speaker 8: Well. 00:06:06 Speaker 3: I would say both are unfair and silly. All right, what about you, Shanon, Yeah, I kind of agree with them. 00:06:11 Speaker 4: I don't think that either one of them are fair. If they're announcing that they're going to tank, now do you have to run somebody in your party? Can you just say that we don't want to run anybody. 00:06:20 Speaker 3: Well, that's what the Democrats were going to do, but then they heard that this right wing guy was going to do it, so we can't have him because then they're worried that somebody will show up at the pole will be like I always vote Democrat and the'll vote for this guy, but he's actually not even a Democrat. People to just check these people. Well, if you're gonna but if the woman runs and then drops out, then the ballot can be empty. 00:06:43 Speaker 5: If it's unfair on one side, it's got to be unfair on the other. 00:06:45 Speaker 3: Do you think both of them are out? 00:06:47 Speaker 5: You've already announced that you're trying to sabotage You. 00:06:49 Speaker 3: See today, one of these two people is probably going to win, and neither one of them has any intention of one of me. 00:06:56 Speaker 4: If they didn't announce it, which is you know, once you announced that they're going to intentionally sabotage it, you can't be in it. 00:07:03 Speaker 3: Oh so you're saying if they were just sneaky abouss, you'd be fine. 00:07:06 Speaker 5: How would you say, yeah, hey, I'm just gonna I'll. 00:07:08 Speaker 3: Update you tomorrow on which of the two people that didn't want to win ended up winning, because you know what they say, somebody has to win, right all right? Next, is it fair? UK Baseball? UK Baseball was supposed to play Northern Kentucky today. So here's the UK Baseball situation. They are firmly on the bubble. They play Arkansas this weekend at home. Most of the prognosticators say, if UK wins the series against Arkansas, they'll probably sneak in. If they lose, they probably will sneak out. Everything is on the line at Arkansas. They play Northern Kentucky today, Northern Kentucky stinks. If they beat Northern Kentucky, they'll get no credit for it, But if they lose, might hurt them, nail the coffin if they lose, potentially, they went to Florida. The game was delayed on Saturday night till late, then it had to play early. Then they had Trump flight troubles, all this stuff. They finally got home at like midnight Sunday night yesterday. They canceled the Northern Kentucky game. After they announced it, the NCAA puts out a letter that says, if you cancel games, we're gonna use that against you. Now, they didn't say Kentucky, but you know, came out a few hours later. Fair or unfair to Kentucky to cancel their Northern Kentucky game to focus on the Arkansas. 00:08:43 Speaker 6: I'm gonna say unfair, but I'm also gonna say I'm alright with it just because it's my team. 00:08:50 Speaker 3: Okay, here's my objectively unfair, but you're good with yeah, because I ride with my team. 00:08:55 Speaker 6: I will say I've had this thought, like it's not a great look. But once the Arkansas he starts, and maybe you get in the tournament. No one is even gonna ever think of canceling that game again. We'll forget about it by next week. 00:09:06 Speaker 3: If the story, yeah, so just did the criticism, It did go viral in the college baseball world. People were And then Shannon, what if they like, win two of three against Arkansas and don't get in do you think people will point to the fact that they didn't play this game? Maybe they did send out that letter? 00:09:23 Speaker 5: Yeah, unfair bad. 00:09:25 Speaker 4: Look, if you don't like it, don't schedule the game there at the end of the season where that's even a possibility. 00:09:30 Speaker 5: So if I'm Kentucky, I'm gonna go out and like. 00:09:32 Speaker 4: Get the sprinkler system, you know working take take an, I'm gonna flood my field. 00:09:39 Speaker 5: So there's a rain. 00:09:39 Speaker 3: Out that you and I are on the se Now we. 00:09:42 Speaker 5: Can't play the game. We can't play. Sorry. 00:09:44 Speaker 3: The letter said, if you don't play it for non weather related reason, don't you have to just fake a problem? Cay rip powers out, Yes, ready to go. 00:09:57 Speaker 5: No, Well that's we'll play it at one o luck today. Then now what you're gonna do? 00:10:03 Speaker 3: But yet, you know they're so far away up there in Yeah, we call them at ten thirty and go where are you game. 00:10:13 Speaker 5: To fill this flooded? Then there's nothing we can do about it. You know, it's it doesn't matter what time of day it is. 00:10:18 Speaker 3: It's a little suspect to me. It is. I feel like, if you're going to schedule a game, you need to play it. Yep. 00:10:24 Speaker 9: Best. 00:10:24 Speaker 6: I think the biggest issues why even have Why is this on the schedule because Arkansas series earlier it starts Thursday. 00:10:30 Speaker 3: I thought that they would need to win this series to make the tournament. I mean, I think if this wasn't a must win series, they can probably go ahead and play the game. They said in general last last week of the season, you need the conference. You know what mutually is write them the check and go say this is mutual. 00:10:43 Speaker 10: Yeah. 00:10:44 Speaker 4: No, Like I'm wondering, like why does Northern Kentucky not want to play the game? I wouldn't want to play the game if I'm Northern. 00:10:48 Speaker 3: To keep goodwill and to get to play them in future years and stuff like that, And that would be my guess. If Northern made a big deal about it, they might be like, well, we're never playing you again. 00:10:58 Speaker 6: You're general teams does non conference game this week. I mean the series with Arkansas starts Thursday. It's a day earlier. It's the last week of the season. I mean, why are you playing a team like that? Anyway, I'm kind of with you. 00:11:08 Speaker 3: I think it's a bad call. I think it looks bad, but we gotta make the turn. But if we don't, if we win two of three in Sarkansas and then don't make the tournament, this will like there'll be a lot of criticism for this decision. 00:11:22 Speaker 6: But you could say, maybe we don't win two of three if we hadn't take an day off. 00:11:25 Speaker 3: But you know, nobody knows. You're exactly right, Nico, go ahead, and Nico, hey, how are you? 00:11:32 Speaker 7: I'm just calling in to ask the basketball questions. 00:11:35 Speaker 11: That's okay, go for it. 00:11:39 Speaker 7: So I'm just curious for guys like Nylon, are we like when is the last day he's able to kind of make his decision on if he's gonna stay in the draft, think said. 00:11:50 Speaker 3: Earlier May twenty seventh, May twenty seventh, and then you know he can take I think as long as he wants to decide where he's going to school, I think start next year. You have to decide where you're going by like June first, but I don't think that's in place yet. 00:12:04 Speaker 7: Okay, and then what what do you think our chances are of getting him? 00:12:08 Speaker 3: Like realistically, I honestly don't know. I mean, I appreciate the call. I think I think. I think there's a pot of money that's still out there to get potentially, but but I don't know if there's a I mean, there's a spot for him if he wants to come, but we already have four big guys. I don't know. There are people who think that it can happen. I have not heard that, but I you know, it'd be great to have him. But when they got the guy from from Cameroon, I kind of thought, well, they don't think they're gonna get Milan or because otherwise you're gonna have five guys. 00:12:43 Speaker 6: Who expect to play two spots. He can be a tall wing. He played the three a lot of Iowa State, And do you. 00:12:48 Speaker 3: Think he could play the third? 00:12:49 Speaker 6: I think Kentucky has money aside just looking at rosters and what they can offer him. I mean, Pope said yesterday his video he wants to take thirty three is a game right now. 00:12:56 Speaker 3: I don't know who he's taking those. 00:12:58 Speaker 6: He did say, so you tell me Lon, come take ten of them if you believe that when he said that, I believe he wants to. But looking at the roster, I don't know who's shooting them. You can go to mom Silov and be like, you want ten threes a game, I'll give them to you. 00:13:09 Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll see. 00:13:12 Speaker 3: Believing that's a little bit like when John Calipery used to always say we're gonna start speeding up the tempo and stuff like you. He would say that and it would never happen. 00:13:20 Speaker 10: Uh. 00:13:21 Speaker 3: Part of me worries he's gonna leave the draft. 00:13:24 Speaker 6: We're gonna be the name all up till the very end and then we're all which we're just gonna get in the stomach again. 00:13:30 Speaker 3: TJ. Go ahead, TJ. 00:13:33 Speaker 9: Hey, Matt, one baby do get passports And a friend of mine a few years ago, they have to like throw a sheet over the parent and they hold the baby to take the picture. 00:13:44 Speaker 3: The parent has a ship over him, and then yeah, yeah, that's actually cool. I didn't know. 00:13:55 Speaker 9: Yeah, I am the nurse and I'm calling to take up for myself. I am the one who won the SmackDown tickets. I don't know if he wanted me to be in a patient's house taking care of them when I called, but I think that's frowned upon. Also, also, this past week was nurses week, and I do appreciate that very much. 00:14:17 Speaker 3: Matt. 00:14:18 Speaker 9: I'm a little boy. 00:14:19 Speaker 3: Polite Matt. Polite Matt not only gave you the tickets. I was willing to give him the tickets. If we have them, we're still waiting. 00:14:26 Speaker 9: I know that's wonderful. And I stealing from a little girl. My little boy's doing. 00:14:32 Speaker 3: He's stealing from a little girl. You can't do Wow, Yeah, you can't do that. So I hope you enjoyce. Back down. It's the twenty second. Is your little girl excited? 00:14:40 Speaker 9: Well, it's my it's my little boy, I said, I was. Oh, listen, he does a really good stone cold impression too. He is so excited. He loves wrestling. Tody Road make tattoo. 00:14:54 Speaker 3: Is he nearby? Let's hear it? 00:14:55 Speaker 11: Is he there? 00:14:57 Speaker 9: He's not because I'm working. 00:14:59 Speaker 3: Okay, all right, well listen, thank you very much, and I'm and then thank you. It's good you took up for yourself. Okay, awesome, thank you appreciate hard to beat the allegations when she said she's working right now coming in that's kind of what the guy said. Polite Matt says that I hope she and her son have a wonderful time, just like I had a wonderful time Friday at Don Franklin. Oh, it was a great time. Don Franklin Otto new certified PreO makes and Models. We had a great crowd in Corbin. Peace of mind, mile after mile. There are locations all around the state. We've been to almost all of them. We'll take a break berry back, KISR. 00:15:49 Speaker 5: Who is this the refreshments? 00:15:52 Speaker 3: Did they have any other songs with this? 00:15:54 Speaker 5: You remember the song we played. 00:15:57 Speaker 3: Everybody knows the world is full? Stupid people are Yeah, seemed Polite Matt would never believe that. I don't know, I don't think wonderful. Yeah I do. Uh So, Kentucky's not the only team, by the way that his uh cancel games. Virginia Tech, UH and Ohio State have as well, and it happened. I think it happened last year. I don't. It wasn't Kentucky. There was some team that did this last year and it was very common. 00:16:23 Speaker 5: This made Billy very upset. 00:16:24 Speaker 3: On the had the hottest tape. 00:16:26 Speaker 4: Yeah, he said, you can't canceling games. 00:16:29 Speaker 3: He was like, I was like, wow, That's kind of how the idea, by the way of polite Matt came up. Was I was listening to how angry Billy was and I was like, speaking of that, I'm not gonna say what it is. And and he has already changed it, Okay, So that's why I can say that he's already changed it. But Billy showed me how to do something in here and he said to use his password, and his password was ebola. Why would he make his passwordola? Mh Like, what what is the scenario where you're like, you know what I want my password to be? Numbers? No numbers, not a last word, there are no capital letters, there are no numbers, there are no symbols. 00:17:19 Speaker 4: I wasn't going to tell you, but my password is actually chicken pox. And before that, it was dysentery. 00:17:24 Speaker 3: Yeah, and I always thought it was normal capital better. It's only five letters. 00:17:36 Speaker 6: Yeah, that would get turned down on most websites. Not strong enough. 00:17:39 Speaker 3: You can't even get into Yahoo. 00:17:41 Speaker 5: With eola chlamydia one two three. 00:17:43 Speaker 6: I wouldn't have admitted that. I would have just leaned over you and been like, let me type this in real quick. 00:17:50 Speaker 3: Bola is the worst. It's the worst past word I've ever heard in my life. But you know, whatever you want, Billy Sean from Austin, go ahead. 00:18:01 Speaker 12: Yeah, for a polite Matt. If somebody, you know, it was in your on your new rug there and they had a little ebola, or they spilled some coffee or something on that. I was in my undergrad I was a carpet cleaner, but myself from school. Just get yourself a squirt bottle with like half water half pine salt, and just support some water on the stain. 00:18:22 Speaker 11: Let it say, why do. 00:18:23 Speaker 3: I pine saal half water? Why not just all well? 00:18:26 Speaker 12: Because you don't well? Because the next step is you're gonna have to get yourself this thing they call a spot extractor. It's like a little mini vacuum. 00:18:34 Speaker 11: Yeah. 00:18:34 Speaker 12: But uh, but if you put straight pine salt to get all bubbly. So but uh, that's a little tip there for polite Matt and his expensive rug. 00:18:43 Speaker 3: All right, good stuff, Thank you. I had no Uh, I didn't know about any of this. Wells help you're getting? How long I appreciate the call? How long do you have to do that? I assume you gotta do that quickly, like you were in here scrubbing your t shirt. Yeah, this lonks awful. Now I'm in trouble today. Yeah, now this is worse. Yeah, you had two tiny drops of coffee and now it looks like your nipple is leaking. Yeah's who's breastfeeding the baby? Me or Abby? Looks like it with this shirt? Why did you think that was better? That's much well, I thought just here with YouTube be fine. I'm hoping, because I'm going somewhere immediately after this downtown. I'm hoping it dries in the next thirty minutes. If it doesn't, we have problem. Okay, Mario, put the phone down, then it get that out. Give me some prophecy, please. I know it is, but I'm hoping that it dries before I leave this room. Little coffee staying and you've turned it into a big blotch of water. 00:19:29 Speaker 6: But I'm just here with you too. I thought you too would ignore it a little bit. And now Mario has got his phone up in my breasts. 00:19:36 Speaker 3: What Mario does? Noah, go ahead and. 00:19:38 Speaker 13: Noah, hey man, this is wingsday. Noah, thank you guys for taking my call. Appreciate it. I got two things, Yeah, I got two things for you here. First off is for Drew specifically. I just I know I'm already late the party was saying this, But first off, congratulations, And secondly, you really just stepped into the absolute host number one job in the world of being a girl dad. Specifically, my wife and I just had our first gearl three months ago, and I'm telling you, I'm surprised I do not cry. I'm surprised I don't cry every single day just with the steps of just seeing what the the beauty of having. 00:20:15 Speaker 3: Everyone I couldn't understand that. Yeah, it's impossible for him. All of a sudden, this show is becoming segregated by baby miss all right, everybody understand what Here's what I know about Drew to have big water puddles next to his nipple, and now he does. Oh my goodness, I know we talked about it before. Thank you. 00:20:47 Speaker 14: I appreciate it. 00:20:49 Speaker 13: Secondly for it, Matt. I remember last week caller had a question for you guys about asking like, if you had twenty four hours that you could have any athletic athletic superpower. 00:21:00 Speaker 3: Yeah we never. 00:21:02 Speaker 13: But yeah, so I was serious to know what you guys. 00:21:04 Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good I appreciate the call. We didn't get to it. I decided I thought about mine later. I would want to be able, uh and we're talking about realistic athletic superpart power, not like you know, fly. And I decided I would like to, for twenty four hours be able to run like Hussein Bolt. I just think it would be where'd you go? I just race people, take a bunch of ambien that morning, and God wants people love to like look like I do, and people be like and I just go up to people. I'd go to people that I assume would think they're faster than and go, you want to race? You want some of this? And then just shock them. Don't you think that would be good? That would be pretty fun. I didn't consider being a track star. Yeah, so I think that's the one I would pick. What would you pick Shannon. 00:21:49 Speaker 4: I would like to be able to hit a baseball like Barry Bonds on steroids though, just. 00:21:54 Speaker 5: Don't take batter practice. She just gonna like team day. 00:21:59 Speaker 3: But you do that, like they're not gonna let you go do that. So like what I'm saying, like, if it's just you have the superpower, you got to think of one you can use. 00:22:07 Speaker 5: Okay. 00:22:07 Speaker 4: I want to be able to punch like Mike Tyson and his prime. I'm just gonna go not go up. 00:22:11 Speaker 3: And ask me, just knock people out. Okay, so you're gonna get an assault charge. People are gonna be like he is just for twenty four hours walked around and just beat people up. Okay, what about you? I wish it were for more than a day. 00:22:26 Speaker 6: But I think I would still be able to hit a golf ball like Tiger Woods and go play around the golf And. 00:22:31 Speaker 3: I think that would be My second choice is what would it be like to go just be to hit every shot I want to hit and golf with no error, just perfectly, just perfectly. That would be I think. But the thing is with that, I can do one shot, you know what I mean? Like take Tiger's best putties ever hit I could hit it once. Yeah, I've already had that feeling one time. I'll never be able to have that sprinting fee. You know. That's why I was a little hesitant to say it. And it's just like a one off. 00:23:05 Speaker 6: Maybe my backup was being able to try to think of, like one of the best dunkers being able to jump like that, just to see what that feels like. 00:23:11 Speaker 3: Go to Rutger Park one day, pulling off all the dunks, just dunking on every bus. That'd be pretty fun. That would be fun. I agree with you, that would also be fun. If I'm nine eighty seven. We got to talk about well, I'll save it. We'll be right back to Kentucky Sports Radio. TJ Smith, personal injury attorney, called TJ. He'll make them. 00:23:31 Speaker 4: Pay Now more of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. 00:23:35 Speaker 5: Here's Matt Jones Welker. 00:23:37 Speaker 3: Back Tucky Sports Radio. Well the news. Guess who's back in the news, Lane Kiffin, Yes he is, and he's led to one of the more fascinating arguments I've seen on the Internet in a long time. Old Miss versus lsu fans on who is the least racist. They are literally all miss inn LSU fans going no, we're more progressive than you. No, we are pulled out stats. Yeah, it's crazy. So here's what lane Kiffin said. He said he left el First of all, this is nonsense. This is not why Lane Kiffin went to LSU. Okay, I don't care what he says. He lies, Like, he's like back what I used to say about Rick Patino. He was the lioness liar that ever lied. Lane Kiffin's giving him a run for his money. He said that he left LSU because, in part, it was hard for Old Miss to struggle to distance itself from symbols like the Confederate flag, Colonel Rebel, and the nickname Old Miss. Quote. Parents would come up to me and say, hey, coach, we really really like you, but my grandparents aren't letting me move to Oxford, Mississippi. That doesn't come up when you say baton rouge. Louisiana. Parents were sitting here this weekend saying the campus is diversity feels so great, it feels like there's no segregation. So that went over really well, and where he already was and now he's like, yeah, it was hard for me to get players there because people thought you were racist, you know. I mean, there's so many different ways you could go. Old Miss then comes back and we're like, we have more black students than any other school in the SEC, which apparently is true. But either way, you know, they go to Old Miss this year. 00:25:34 Speaker 14: Oh. 00:25:34 Speaker 3: I was already so excited about that. I mean, Shannon, will there be a more hostile environment if returned to Oxford? 00:25:47 Speaker 5: Nobody believes he left because of that. He left because of the money. 00:25:50 Speaker 3: He left because of the money. Yeah, but why throw that in on the way out the door? He's you all were racist? Like that's what what thing to say on the way out the door? And it's not like by the way, he moved to Berkeley, California, he moved to bat the origins of the LSU Tigers that I didn't know that until this did you neither know? We did not know the origins of the name LSU Tigers goes back to a Confederate army, Like a real mean what not that? Yeah, we're terrible on you. I had no idea about that, Shannon, So at least I learned some history from this. 00:26:28 Speaker 5: I had no idea about that either. 00:26:29 Speaker 4: I think he's just still mad that they put all of his uh stuff, like from his office out on the street when they moved him out. Remember that put his clothes out on the street, like he had cheated, like a wife that had her husband cheating. 00:26:45 Speaker 6: Is there anyone that's left places more circumstances? 00:26:49 Speaker 3: Linka. 00:26:49 Speaker 6: Everywhere he goes, he just burns down the place behind him as best he can. I mean Tennessee threw mustard at him. Oh Miss, They're gonna have to put him in like a glass box on the sideline. 00:26:59 Speaker 3: They are going to actually have to be careful, right. I would like to go just to be there. Then Old Miss is like, okay, well we've gotten over the fact that our coach just called us racist. Then later in the day, Steve Sarkisian coach at Texas, was asked about recruiting. He said, it's actually a little harder here at Texas because Texas's university rules are when you transfer in, you only get credit for half of your credits from the other school. He said, it's not like when you go to Old Miss. 00:27:27 Speaker 4: He brings up Old Miss. 00:27:29 Speaker 3: Not like when you go to Old Miss and you can graduate for basket weaving, like they get called racist and stupid in the same day. 00:27:46 Speaker 4: Through the punching bag of the SEC this week unbelievable. 00:27:49 Speaker 3: Ole Miss is like, what did I do to you? Steve Sarkisian. That was a rough day there September nineteenth is the is the lowest rated school in the SEC academic so I guess at least that has some connection, you know, to reality. I used to always wonder about Old Miss how they got players back when they had the fans all with the Confederate flag, and I bet it did hurt them back then, but they don't do that anymore. They wouldn't got a shark mascot. They got rid of Colonel reb and they put a shark. I don't know. I still don't really know the shark by Katie Perry because he she went there, remember the shark from the super Bowl. 00:28:27 Speaker 6: In Super Bowl you rarely like with Okay, Blane Kiffin's coming from Ole Miss. Uh, he shouldn't have said it, but at least you don't understand why he's talking about it. Steve Starkeys is just randomly throwing strays. 00:28:40 Speaker 3: What's the school I can think of that produces the stupidest people? 00:28:43 Speaker 6: You barely hear coaches name another school when they're talking about something like this. 00:28:47 Speaker 3: So tough day to be an old miss fan. Austin. Go ahead, Austin, hey. 00:28:53 Speaker 14: Man, thanks for taking my call. 00:28:54 Speaker 8: I'm really liking the glass half full mentality that you got to go on today, well to get to the polight, Well it works for you to get to the to get to the basketball. So we are seventy ninth ranked and Transfer Portal rankings that that is sixteen out of sixteen schools, or ninety fifth in high school ranking, which is fourteen out of sixteen. 00:29:18 Speaker 14: I know facts are optional in case the facts are clearly there. That is that yes, Yes, that's on three. 00:29:28 Speaker 3: We are ranked sixteen out of sixteen in the Transfer portal. 00:29:33 Speaker 14: Yes, and then that's based off of on three recruiting rankings for both and all of our rivals are ahead of us in both categories. So I definitely think the facts are there that we do need a GM, and I hope, hope, I hope he kind of you know, goes towards that direction. Good luck with the rug. Thanks call, go cats. 00:29:53 Speaker 3: Appreciate the call. That really surprises me because you did get two top thirty guys and LUSU has two players. Huh, wonder why that is. Well, one argue you can make is most teams are done and hopefully we're not, so that could change a lot of teams. Sixteenth, we're behind Vanderbilt. Yeah, we're a seventy ninth I think in the country. Wow that Matt, Go ahead, Matt. 00:30:24 Speaker 10: What's up? 00:30:25 Speaker 15: Guys? I'm out in my garden barefooted on this beautiful day in highly Kentucky, and I was just talking to my buddy Jay Crawford, Like, do you remember him on ESPN? Did cope pizza? 00:30:37 Speaker 3: Yeah, because he did WK or WYMT for a while. 00:30:40 Speaker 15: Yes, yes, yes, yes, he's like family. Well, anyways, we was trying to think of a good trivia question for you to represent what the fans are going through with the upcoming season. Well, he couldn't give me a good one, but my guy Donovan at work, shout out Donovan, shout Yes. There's been five teams that have started the season unranked and won the national championship, And can you name them? 00:31:09 Speaker 3: Great? 00:31:09 Speaker 15: Ya? 00:31:10 Speaker 3: As I mean, you can't get off. I won't know the answer if you don't, If you don't, so, Hank Kon's one Yukon in twenty fourteen. Is that one of them he got off? I think Hurley got one. 00:31:25 Speaker 6: Hurley, I don't think they were ranked for one of his start the year his first one, I don't think. 00:31:29 Speaker 3: I want to say, maybe Florida's first title. The next year they were number one, but I think going into that year they might not have been ranked. I have no idea. That's a good question. I mean that I would really have to sit and think about eighty five Villanova maybe, but I would really have to think about that, and I'll never know the answer because you hung up. Michael. 00:31:50 Speaker 6: I want to add one thing on the transfer portal rankings too, to make it clear it it factors in your outgoing as well. 00:31:57 Speaker 3: Oh, it's like a score based on score. Okay, well now that makes more sense to me. Okay, gotcha, Michael, Go ahead, Michael. 00:32:05 Speaker 16: I just wanted to got a couple of questions, and I got a little game. 00:32:10 Speaker 3: Well you got to do polite, Okay. 00:32:13 Speaker 16: One thing, A little game for you. If you're having Ron go out me by himself for a while, how about Monday through Thursday in the evening, after you're doing with everything, you go over and help drew parents and maybe you can get a little bit more appreciative. The thing is you have to say that not to deal with. 00:32:36 Speaker 3: But people keep saying things like that to me, and they're like, you should offer to do this for Drew. You should, like, I think Drew loves me. I think Drew is one of my best friends. But Drew also I don't think. I think he understands my strengths and he also understands my weaknesses, and I think he doesn't. I don't think he's excited about giving, you know, oversight of his child to me in my career. 00:33:01 Speaker 6: Well, I also say it's not as you we don't really want anyone coming over during the chaotic evenings, even like we like when family stops by, but like we're not trying to host. 00:33:09 Speaker 3: Parties while we're dealing with a four week old. Yeah. Yeah, so it can be a little hectic at night. We don't need an additional people. And I also think, like, like we treat some things on this show like it's like a game, like a reality show. I'm not sure, Shannon, four week olds are the way to like do experiments. 00:33:25 Speaker 5: No, no, who doesn't want us that we're there? 00:33:29 Speaker 3: Yeah? I don't blame them neither. If you want to come outside, I'm inside dealing with that's not gonna happen. But I would be glad to come. And yeah, I'm not going to your lawn, but I would be glad to like, come. I'll bring you you all dinner one night. 00:33:45 Speaker 6: That would be great. My landscaping is way behind. I don't mean to do that. We've just been pretty. 00:33:49 Speaker 3: That's what I'll do. I'll bring you dinner one night, so you all don't have to worry about not the landscaping. I'll buy the much I don't know. I'm still waiting to hear on a date of something and so like we haven't been able to so we're taking like one week off I think June fifteenth, and then maybe the week of Billy's wedding then. But it's just not I was going to take another trip and go away for like to Europe, but like it just hasn't been able to work out. So that's the way. That's the way it goes. We were pretty good at our guests there. How do you do well? 00:36:13 Speaker 10: Uh? 00:36:14 Speaker 3: We it was the Yukon team. You mentioned the Yukon team, I mentioned Florida Villanova. We got four of the five off the top of our head. A bunch of ballowers over here. That's pretty good. The only one we didn't get was Carmelo Anthony's Syracuse Tic. Yeah, it wouldn't be gotten winning all day, but it's pretty good. Then if you go way back, there were more, but like since nineteen seventy those are the ones that but it was on. So that's pretty good. If I'm nine to two eighth twenty two eighty seven, one one quick thing, and I want to see what you thought of this? The Ray Davis they're gonna make a movie about his life, which is kind of which is cool, right? Uh? You know he's he was I guess an or that then made it to his career, and they're gonna do a movie about his life that focuses on his rise from in childhood and then his time in college and pro football, which means, Shannon, we have to have someone to play Mark Stoops, someone to play Vince Merrill. Vince is the one that brought him here and Mark was the coach. So what actors m play Mark Stoops and Vince Merrow in the Ray Davis story. 00:37:31 Speaker 5: I think I got Vince Merrill? 00:37:34 Speaker 3: Who is it? 00:37:34 Speaker 5: Fores Whitaker? 00:37:36 Speaker 3: Oh wow, where'd you pull that from? Waker? I was gonna say Ving Raims, But is that giving Vince too much credit? Yah? Ving Radys drafted. Yeah, Forest Whittaker, that's you got it. I can't beat Forest Whittaker. 00:37:56 Speaker 6: I've got Stoops Stoops, Philip Seymour Hoffman. 00:38:00 Speaker 3: He's dead. Oh sorry, it's been dead for twenty years. Well, we have a committed suicide twenty but he committed to cut that out. 00:38:09 Speaker 6: I forgot about it ago, just thinking what he looks like. He came to my mind. First, all right, Paul Giamony, you. 00:38:15 Speaker 5: Sure you don't want Robin Williams. 00:38:17 Speaker 6: You know, Paul, those were the two that came up on Looks Alone, Clark Gable. 00:38:24 Speaker 3: Man. That's a tough look for me. Cobain. No, actually, Paul Giamatti, I mean, now again, this has to be a high budget movie to get Paul Giamatti in for his Winnaker. Hey, they play secondary roles. 00:38:38 Speaker 6: Ray got a big director and a big writer with a lot of uh stuff. 00:38:41 Speaker 3: Giamatti, I can see it. He's got the hair. 00:38:45 Speaker 5: I know he's not an actor, but if he can. 00:38:47 Speaker 3: I'm saying that's and he's got range. He can. He can turn himself into all kinds of things. 00:38:51 Speaker 5: Who's that Axel Rose? Remember that side by? You got a door dash batteries is a good one. 00:40:26 Speaker 3: Door dashing batteries was necessary? I don't, but I do do the. 00:40:30 Speaker 11: McDonald's and one other oh, and one other thing. I got a scenario for you. I know you value your mother's opinion highly. So you meet a girl and you get her to your Louisville place. You've seen that she doesn't mind that you take your You take her to your mother's house and she pulls you aside, and she says, Matt, she is a lovely girl. I think she's the one. You get in the car to go home with her, and uh, you think everything goes well? And she leans over. She says, oh good, we can still make the game. My balls are playing or my cards are playing? What is the deal breaker for the rival fan? 00:41:07 Speaker 3: I can do that, I can't. I could day. I appreciate the call. I I could date a Louisville fan. Tennessee is tougher, honestly, just because you know Tennessee exactly. But I did louis fans. I can date, I mean not. I don't think I've ever been in like a relationship with a Louisville fan, but I've dated like I can. I can handle that. I mean, it's the lul of people don't hate me as much as they use. 00:41:37 Speaker 5: She's a teen, But you gotta do L's up. 00:41:39 Speaker 3: I'm not doing L's up for anyone. No, I'm not l's up, and I mean I'll go to a game with them to be nice. I'm not cheering for Louisville. The only way I would ever cheer for louis if I had a kid and they played and they went there, then I guess I would cheer for that sport like no other sport. And even then it probably gonn have to be a girl, because like, I'm not cheering for a male Kentucky or Kentucky Louisville team, certainly not football or basketball, maybe soccer. I've already told baby Avery she's not going to Louisville or liking Louisville. And my dad has tried to buy Tennessee gear. It's not getting anywhere, So you can't. You're not letting that happen. 00:42:16 Speaker 6: Those two, I mean, other than that, choose your own adventure as your life, but those two are eliminated. 00:42:20 Speaker 3: Yeah, Zam, just because I like the name Zab, you got twenty seconds. 00:42:23 Speaker 17: Go ahead, Oh my gosh, you're gonna be quick.
