DONNA'S BIGFOOT ENCOUNTER FROM WHEELER ARKANSAS (LEE CREEK) It Roared Like a Monster
Donna’s unforgettable Bigfoot encounter took place in April of 1986 near Lee Creek in Wheeler, Arkansas. Her family arrived at a small church in the woods — but something enormous was already there watching them. A roaring howl, a horrific smell, and a massive 8–9 foot creature with long dark hair and linebacker-wide shoulders emerged from the trees.
Locals called them the Forest People — and Donna’s grandma believed they lived nearby. She claimed they fed the creatures to keep them away from the house. Over the years, more sightings continued, including someone Donna knows who shot a Sasquatch-like being.
