This week on the show, we have and absolutely this is I mean, this thing is jam pack just like any other major rewarand would be. We got a classic discussion on some weekly purchases from episode one ninety three and then we go over to episode two hundred just crazy to think those over one hundred years ago. And we hear the boys talk about the incarnation of all the major Pod figures up to that point, and then they get into some fun Q and A where they talk about their goals for the next two hundred episodes and beyond. That's it. Sit back for relax and enjoy the show exactly exactly, So kind of slow week for me. I got some cool things. I'll start yesterday. Uh impact, I did the meet and greet, the post show meet and greet, and before I went over to the meet and greet, I walked to the merch stand and I picked up a Bound for Glory VHS and a Hard to Kill DVD. So I picked those up. I forgot to do that, and this morning I bought him online. But it's this pre order right now. I bought him right then and there I know, so I don't know why with cold hard cash. And that's remind me that Ross did not pay me for this meet and greet yet, Oh Dr Ross, Big Heat, Dr Ross, Doctor Ross, just because we were already kind of talking about it. So finally a major mark was nice enough to find this and say to me, it's the Target exclusive but taste, I need it. Somebody reached out on Twitter and said, does Brian still need it? I almost swooped in and said, Mark does. So this mintu Mint package looks great And I was about to do a live in boxing on the show at this and everything, but I could just see like things with the deco that's going to drive me nuts that I think I got to hold this And wait, really, so this you know exactly what we were just talking about. If this window wasn't here to tell me that on this right, thirty plus dollars figure like how you know? So I'm gonna hold on tight to this. But like there's all kinds of weird Nixon the deco on his trunks. He's got like a big blotch on his nose that I don't know if I can get off. So who sold me to? I cannot remember it? I'm sorry, Pali Michael Brand. Yes he's in the group. His wife, That's all I remember, right, he said, dumb embarrassed, but you have to pay pal my wife, But uh sorry, I put you on blast air. But that was funny. Yeah, So I mean this is great, condition, is great transaction. I appreciate it, but I'm just being a little brat about it. Something hang tight for a little bit, he wrote, She's the boss. They all are pal So this is a weird purchase. I got some of the new Project Rock sneakers. Okay, okay, you know, Brian, A lot of people, not a lot of people. Some people will give me ship for wearing vans to the gym. I prefer nice slip bonds, flat foot. You've been doing that so long that like, I'm unfazed by it. But it is strange. Anyway. I saw the Rock's great on Instagram. He sold me on these Project Rocks. And here's why. You know, I've been wearing those white ones for like months. Well here, here's here's why I got them. I'm like, all right, let me let me try something. Aren't these bands? And then I'm like, yo, listen, I under major fitness challenge. I understand people finding difficulty, staying motivated, finding what vasion? Now every time I look down to that bull like all right, love it? A couple more, a couple more reps saying I don't believe I think rock is very inspiring. Sometimes I think to myself and Mark, you said it before. I don't have type the ship. Sometimes I think to myself, oh fuck, I'm so busy, I'm thinking. You know, you know it's more busy than me to rock, you know, and he makes it work. So like, no matter how busy you fucking are, you're not as busy as the Rock. You're you know what I'm saying. Just think of it that way. You can't make an excuse to not work out. I don't give a fuck what your excuse is. You're not more busy than the Rock. It's a classic whoa oldest ride, longest line, Space Mountain. I absolutely needed this. But you, why do you need that? You just sold your Haunted Mansion once today. Great great call out, Sterling. Okay, Sterling, the actual I have the actual Haunted Mansion, and I have a lot of the Haunted Mansion possible. But these were just like, there are so many characters in the Haunted Mansion, and I started getting characters that like, I don't even know their names. I just know that you pass them at this turn. Yes, and those were two of them. I got rid of. Gotcha all right? Anything else, guys, what do you ask it? Oh? Yeah, I wanted to shout out twenty hundred studio. He sent me a bunch of ECW pins and stickers and stuff. They're pretty bad ass, so and then you can check them out on Instagram twenty eight hundred studio. And uh, like I said, a very light week. So last, but not least, I have gotten two Honky talk Man Hasbros. Since my heart was broken at Wrestle Kan. I got one just I was so mad and it was the only mint like nice one on eBay the day that mine broke, and it was the bubble is very very yellowed. Maybe it's smoke damage now that we're talking out loud about that, I don't know. So it bothered me. And then another one popped up. I bought that, So now I have two and I'm be on my mission again be sign them both and then I'll flip the extra one. But and they it's weird. And I never noticed this, and I never really think this about Haswro's because you don't see Hasro's detached from the card very often, right, But both these hockeys look very fragile in that sense forever. I don't know. If it's too heavy with the accessory, I don't know. I really don't know. Well, speaking of Hasbro's coming off the card back, did you talk about your Adam Bomb last week? Uh? Oh, and I I didn't even post about that and make that public because it happened. There were so many posts and so I got out of bomb. So he must have a good batch though, because the ones he signed for us. Okay, the problem is in the shipping. So this is the deal. Okay, there's a huge problem. If you listened to the opening of the show Figure Collections, he apologized for it. He already fired the people who were making the boxes. That's gonna be a replacement for everybody. They're gonna make everything right. Those were hand delivered to Adam Bomb at Wrestle Cohn. Okay, that's so they didn't go through like a shipping process of like individually being shipped go to someone's house, you know. But they're still traveled in my bag, you know what I mean. I'm right here with no extra caution. But I think, like, if it's in that box, unless it's like absolutely sealed tight. If there's any little jiggle, I think it cut. The adhesive is not strong enough. You understand what I'm saying. I mean my I mean mine's been on a card. I'm not gonna take the chance to shake. So I got my loose one. No, not on purpose. I was gonna open it anyway, right, yeah, because I had the side one. And listen, De Freedom Sergeant slaughtered this figure on social media, and I'll be honest, listen, I love what ch'ella is doing. I think the figures have been approving and I love out a bomb. At first glance, I don't love it. I don't think the single it is detailed of. Now some of De Freedom stuff like he didn't wear those gloves with that, I don't care about stuff like that. These are retros, right, But the goggles I'm gonna keep on because a lot of people I saw posts if you take the goggles off, it scratches off the eyebrow paint. Yeah, I think if you can do it. A couple of times here in tub and I'm such a psycho that if I took him off and I knew they were scratched underneath, it was like ruined me, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, so I saw the defreedom post, and that's a defreedom post where he's just you know, uh, dissecting something to the utmost degree. I like. I like this figure a lot. I'm looking, I'm holding in my head. I have no I have no major gripes with it. I'll just say that my my major gripe is the torso being one piece that I guess that's my only thing. But that's more of like a head scratchy thing. It doesn't like ruin it. I just don't understand how it happened. Yeah, it's just I don't know something. The bad just takes me out of it. Listen. I love Brian Clark. I love this figure. I'm glad it's out. I'm really looking forward to that radioactive one. I'm really really looking forward to his major bendy. I'm really really really looking forward to his bone crushing action figure. Yeah. I think it's great that that the Brian Clark is taking the bull by the horns and revitalizing his career. I absolutely love that he gets it. He's doing funny stuff on social media. Do you see the thing he does? If there's like a botch or if someone falls he throwing the football. Yeah, there's no way he does. Who if someone's gonna help him do that? But that's still pretty awesome. There's been some funny ones, but that if you can't get the has row out about, it's a perfect replacement. And listen, I'm definitely keeping this, no doubt about it. Oh yeah, I did. I have a Lucy in my collection and I haven't been a card sign when it's in my PC. It's just unfortunate that for your collection is going through you know, this headache of I would say I don't have a percentage, but oh dude, I mean it's got to be a nightmare for them. Yeah yeah, I mean Knnick got too both off, you know. Yeah, but but people have been receiving him. Daniel Blockie says minor Roger and the bubble is still hot. So I don't know. But uh so I got the out of bomb and I'm gonna keep it deep freedoms Like it doesn't stand right like, okay, I'm looking at it's standing right now? Is it? I guess there's something where it's not completely flat footed, but it does stand. But I feel like if I yeah, I blew it. It would it would over there's there's no is there a hole in the foot? No hole? Okay, well just curious. Uh. Speaking of Cella, I got the uh, I finally got the Ethan pagey gave it to me this week. The second one or the first one. This is not the this is this is the first one. Oh wow red yeah, red tights. I thought it was great. Put it right in my uh display, so that that's a good one. And the actually it was hard for me to take it out of the box. So wow, that's crazy, right. I was like, you know, really picking at that bubble. Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying. That's crazy. My big cool purchase this week was from Zombie actually our friends at Zombie. I got the the Mandalorian helmet. I posted a picture on my Instagram. I thought these uh, you know, I thought kind of thought these helmets work a little lame, like what do you have these? But man, uh they really make the display. Like if you've got the figure display in your details and you got the helmets on top, it's just it's really cool my display. They look awesome. If you were a kid, you could like they do work, which is the coolest part. Oh my god. Yeah, the light turns on the Bubba Fett one, like the thing comes down. It's it's They're really cool and you know, obviously it's not made of metal. It should be like one thousand dollars. But yeah, I don't know. I'm loving Zombie and the the breadth of product they have, and I've been pre ordering the Marvel Legends with them instead of like Entertainment Earth. I'm I'm gonna make a huge Zombie order this week. Actually catch up on some vintage collection and Black Series figures, right. I bought the Dark Saver by the way that I got the FedEx lost it and they're replaced as they replaced FEDX. Oh you know that just reminded me of a little uh followed my Christian card. Remember I sent you Uh, I said, I told you guys that I refunded it or I sent it in for a refund. This fucking seller he wouldn't refund me. Yeah, but I thought you said you got it. I'm done by eBay. Yeah, So like I called eBay, I'm like, where's the refund? Like, oh, he has two business days to send it. So I waited for the second business day because I saw that with the track, I put in everything properly. I saw that he got it. He he said like he wouldn't refund me, and I had to call eBay again and they had to step in again and give me a refund. And then I saw he reposted it. Still's calling the rookie and he's charging like thirty five hundred bucks for it. Oh my gosh. I don't like this guy. I want to call out his Wait, so did you get the money? Eventually I got my refund. Okay, I got it, but it's on eBay right now. Three thousand, four hundred ninety nine dollars nice six cents. And now he did alter the description seller does not accept returns, but that's all he did. Yeah, rare nostalgia one is this guy. I wouldn't deal with him. Guys. Anyway, this box is pretty dang pristine. John. There was like a tiny dent on the bottom which you wouldn't even see. So yeah, but he's got to look out for himself because you never know the who it's going to. The lists. You know, there was a dent on the bottom which you don't see because you stand it up, you know. This the solo investment gear Star Wars, Star Wars Power of the Force purchase is figure of the week where we did something wrong? I feel all right, So a little backstory, let me pull it into the shot. It is a watat w w F WrestleMania Nintendo nine point six. Oh no, my point. It is the first time ever holding a WATA. I love how it stands up. This is going to be a beautiful display piece in my l JN has Bro early eighties sorry, early nineties collection. Rosty must Be Family wrote a little back sort of this. I talked about this a couple weeks ago on the pod. Right. Yes, Mark Bitterson was helping me out. And I said on the pod right that I some I do this trick. Brian does that. A lot of people do it. I watch it and I hope to get an offer. You know, I said it on the pod that I did not get an offer early pod comes out. What do you know? I get an offer? Now? It arrived today, sealed a want of certified nes acclaim w W WrestleMania to me this, I've said the mental values list, like I remember Christmas, I guess it's I guess it's ninety. I get the Christmas Eve ninety. I get the whole Nintendo and this game my Nana from Nana. I was literally going to ask you, like, what is your sentimental value? Yeah? So I mean even as a kid, I'm like, this game sucks. You know what I'm saying, Like because like Mario was so fun. You know, this is not the It's not as fun as Mario or something like that, or Duck Hunt. Yeah, but it's like not your man Andre Hockey talk made that man Ben and Bigelow. It was cool. This is something. It is a great display piece. Now, Am I gonna go and get every game i've sentimental value for it or sentimental attached before? Absolutely not. But if I was gonna get one, That's why I was thinking about. If I was gonna get one, game would be well, it's not gonna be Mario because that's two day of expensive, So what else is it gonna be? Bro? I am so jealous Okay, a couple of things. First of all, Marcus just just like rewind back a little bit. One, he changes it to bite now two thousand. Somebody theoretically could have just swooped in and grabbed different Yeah, but it was like such a yes in theory, but it was such an instant thing. You know, I would have been I would have been real nervous. Right. Two, this is the if you're a wrestling collector, right and you're gonna get a video game. In my opinion, this is the one value wise, right. So Darren Ravel talks about this, you know, not necessarily a great investment. Yeah, yeah, it's not really the rarest, but it's it's like the most nostalgic that the firsts, you know, the first Mario. This is one of the first wrestling games of all time. Uh, WrestleMania not even two, not even three, Like this is WrestleMania with Hogan on the cover, and nine point six, nine point six we talked about the last half, not even super Nintendo details first license w first licensed WWF console game intended to build up to wrestling five to three months after his release. I mean I absolutely dig it, I really do so. Uh, Mark bitters. You know, he collects a lot of these video games. He's like a complete Nintendo collection, like loose whatever. He was telling me that nine point six Star Wars that I had could be when I was saying I would sell it for five thousand, he was saying, could be possibly selling myself short. Right, Wow, So there's just people out there that collect nine point six and up, Like, is there anything that you could see with your eye that would make you think that's like not a ten mine. There was a little dent in it, like like not a dent, but like the box itself was sunk in into a tiny bit got but the edges were great. If I had to be a complete psychopath, like one of the bottom corners as like a little like where But I mean it's a thirty five year old, that's what I'm like. Nine point that's crazy. So my biggest question is like who just has these games sealed in their basement? But you have to believe it's like an accidental thing, right, like someone bought it for Christmas but then like, oh shit, like their aunt gave it to them on Christmas Eve, so they just put it somewhere and then forgot about it. And found it thirty years later or something like that because no one knew this would be worth money. Well, some people thought like that, but you think so very very very very very few. And then I think the other things are like accident happy accidents like you just said. So I think that sometimes, you know, like movie stores would buy them in bulk something like that, and then maybe they don't put them all out, They put them in the back to send back to a thing. Something doesn't happen. Maybe the movie star goes out of business right now, they have totes of games that you know, shit like that happens. So then Zombie discovers a warehouse full of games that didn't make it or something like that. That's why, like it's you know, it's very hard to find. But I actually watched a video of some guy finding a storage unit full of tots of sealed games and unreal situation. But so what I'm saying is Mark Bitterers was saying five thousand selling myself. Sure, then I told him, actually mine, and I didn't mention this last week. My Star Wars is not the original release. Some Superintendo would do this thing where like they would re release a game and it would say, like a million seller. Okay, so it's kind of like a second release of the game, and he said that would probably hurt me. This isn't that's a Super Nintendo game second release, but yours is a Nintendo nine point six of the original WWF console game, the first ever WF video game. Insane. That's a piece right there. Honestly, I would have spent two thousand bucks if I knew man. Also, last thing I'll say, Marcus bro Brian Brian, imagine getting this signed by the ulkster. Come on, unbelievable. Uh so the cool thing about the Nintendo game that would increase that would increase the value, right sure, absolutely? Yeah. Actually, if you took a picture of him, it's going on the slab and not hurting the and god forbid, I can always take it off, That's what I'm saying, easily. Uh. What we hit to do it to work, and we're not gonna be able to talk about That's what you're worried about. It realistic like there's a lot of major microphones. Yeah, that's fine, but we can't. Let's just address that. The first thing ever, right is yes, is those two uh from the Crates from the Crates, and we've made everybody from my dad to the macho man Randy Savage, pretty Ground Cone and Vsky even and Rory Fox whoo, Rory Fox haveing play. It's the merchandise, guys. But I mean, those are figures. But let's talk about action figures right now. So number one is definitely the ring side two packs with the mass the bootleg figures, which started out as a design t TD made and I'm like why can't we just make figures like that. I can't even remember how that all came about. He made that design first just for fun. Yeah, it was just us as boot leg figure, and then we had discussions with John and Turn from Ringside, and I believe what came out first with the accessories of course, the belt and the shirt, the shirt which I love, the podcast three versions that different, the podcasting places at which I love. And then there's like a TLC set, which all awesome. I wish we had more excess. I still want to one up Dead Casket a limited run, and I think we could upload the podcast set and do it again because we're still a podcast, you know, things like that. We'll get it done. But the two pack, the Matt and Brian. It's funny because we had this idea for the bootleg figures and then figure fate Mattel decides to do Masters w w unis also nuts. Who would have thought that was coming? Yeah? Right, So it's like, okay, so what we thought was going to be our own scale but now has all these Masters figures, but now it turns into they make regular wrestling figures in that scale. That was all just a happy accident. Yeah, so that's the it's the two pack of us in the purple shirts, yep. And we're wearing the masks obviously because we can't use our likeness because we're still with w W at the time. And then we ordered variants, a Stop and Paradise variant. There's the fatal error eleven to fifty nine, right, oh my god, whatever it was eleven forty five whatever. That fatal error broke wrink Cycles website. The day went up. There's the Mets colored ones and I love those figures. I love that. Now people are trying to go back and get them. I'm sure it's like the hype and it kind of died down because it's been two years. Yeah yeah, and now they're going, oh, well, now to get these to complete my whole set. And then it was us all along. We took the mass off and you know, we get the two packs are out now, a thousand dollars brothy barement with Brian, you know, the major moment. The bulls and those full disclosure were designed before we got fired, so over two years ago. That's why they come with man. So they have the masks, yes, And then we pivoted to make the molding of our face faces because we knew we could. And then we also have the solos of me and you smart Mark and the referee. Those are almost extinct, which is scary, and I think Series two is going to be revealed any day in any day, and I think it's going to knock people's socks off. And really excited for that pre order to get launched. And I'm sure we'll come up a lot of fun ways to help promote that and you know, move that along. But if I had to go something like that's not a continuation of what we're doing, I would want the Major Fest like Mini Weekend, and I would definitely love some sort of reality TV show, and I always want to grow our tried and true audience of people that listen to us. Every I'm playing this is somebody, yes, Like there's like definitely a plateau thing, yes, And I think a lot of people still, you know, even four years later, just say like, oh, that shows about wrestling figures and not even going to give it a chance. But obviously I don't have to tell people listening to show, because you're listening to it that there's so much more, you know, So if they gave it a chance, I think they'd you know, dig in. But it's definitely tough to break that wall, right, And I was doing an NWA podcast yesday. I was answering this question, like, Okay, yes, we have turned this into a business. We have figures shows, and that's great, and it's great that we have this the side money right in, this side income At the end of the day, this is a real community and I'm proud of the community that we've built. And you can't, you know, when we first saw this podcast, it wasn't about making money. Even now, it's just like didn't even cross my mind. The money's a business of certain things that we make money in this aspect, right, But this is a community first, and I think what's very important is that you know, we have built this community, and you know, obviously have we monetize certain things. You have to do. This'er your business, but the community is the most important thing. Without this community, even this podcast would just be us three talking about wrestling figures. It's it's it's everything that goes into the Facebook groups, all the friendships that have been made, you know, everyone's five shows and the hangouts, and it's just like and I would love to grow that community even more one hundred percent and grow it deeper. And that's like you said, that's that's the bread and butter. Is like without the fans, without without you guys listening, this will just be us talk about figures, you know, so we thank you guys. It is crazy, like the timing of everything, like us starting the show when we did, and the way Wrestling Figures ever picked up. But when you said this community real quick and then then I'll try to monetize it. That's not how it works. I think the real problem is the old Rome wasn't built in a day kind of thing. Sure, people do a podcast for two weeks ago, Oh, the only forty seven people listened. I'm out right. It's like, dude, it's just the same with us, like we were famous w W wrestlers. Like, it doesn't work like that. You know, it takes time. And I've said this so many times and so many interviews and actually a lot of time it's other wrestlers picking my brain about this show. I said. Mark told us the first day consistency, consistency, and the death of this show will be not making deadlines and not fulfilling your commitments. And like we've all taken that very seriously for four years, and I think that's what's really made the biggest difference. You know, and like listen, we have access to all the analytics, the numbers. There are definitely people who listen as podcasts who have never watched a YouTube video. And on the flip side, people who watch the youtubedeo who have never listened to the pod people every weekend. I love your YouTube videos. Man. They have no clue that we have a pocket, right, they think that the Incarnation videos is the podcast. The YouTube people, it's just awesa go. So all right, we talked about figures. And as the producer of the podcast, my uh my biggest pat on the back is that we have never been late with the podcast except one time it did not go at midnight and I didn't realize until nine am the next day one time, but it wasn't even technically late because it came out the day it was supposed to. Just like whatever, seven hours later, we have hit that midnight. I put it up guys midnight Eastern every Thursday, right or Friday. The second at Friday becomes a thing. So never missed the time. And that's and and you know we've we've on a couple Q and A episodes, but we've never done a best of We've never Yeah, I mean, I mean we we have nailed it every single week. And the other thing we tried to do is have some sort of YouTube thing out every week. Last week we put five videos up, So yeah, we're nailing it on that I and I would like to remain.
