  • There should not be a winner and a loser. The goal should be a compromise that sits well with both of you.
  • Miscommunication tends to be at the root of a lot of conflict. This includes no communication and unclear expectations.
  • Practice creative problem solving with your partner!
  • It is good practice to think about things before reacting.
