It's the Lapsed Fan Wrestling podcast with Jack and Carnes, e O and JP sorrows. He's a lapsed fan in all my years and you never seen anything. And it's the LAPS Fan man number one in the ring. Beget Aboutcesada with the real king of swing with the belgos, eggs and the kick like me swinging in the corner, but gets rash like Steve. Even Jerry King can take off the crowd nodded in his head like a Steve low Brown. Would you get low down for the goat? Even high up? Flipp you on your head? But you know cool drivel you speaking more now? Dragon spits fire. If you more shock than in Edge retire, dropping more truth than the con of sniper less. You would a coconut Roddy Pipper checking JP. You like Jay d drop the cupcakes and gold the brain Bob means the best podcast. Frost start the close flop you are benefit. It is a Flassic polls. There's nothing between us and the stage at this point of us, there's nothing blocking our road to WrestleMania besides the few days left until Sunday, April seventh. From the LAPS Fan co chairs take the stage one more time for the only premium live event of WrestleMania Weekend that matters. Yes Laps Fan presents Bozo's biceps and bullshit. The Brunch. Yes, punch Line Philly is the venue? High noon is the time? Should be brunch Line Philly, brunch Line Philly. By the time it's over. I think we're calling it the quadruple B. Yes it is. Is there a check? Where are you at? Is there a is there a uh? What you McCall like? A? You know, there's there's, there's squared, there's cubed. Oh, right to the fourth degree. What's what's be? I guess be to the fourth power? Sure, or be to the higher power? If you're want to go absolutely, If we want to create some nineteen ninety nine intrigue, there's going to be plenty of intrigue, ladies and gentlemen. We're here for the final drop here. As far as you know, what we consider traditional show. It's not a traditional show in any way, but it's the last show where we're sort of steeped in our comfort zones. Here venture out. Are you ready for this? Here we go? This is what it could be. It could be be tesseracted, excuse me, be hypercubed. I'll pass be zenzi zenzic, be super cubed or be by quadrant. I like by quadra What do you do? I do? I think I like I like b by quadriceps. And here's the thing. We've been saying it for a while. We'll just continue saying it. This is going to be a day one kind of there's going to be a lapsed fan before, yes, the Bozo's biceps and bullshit brunch, Yes, And there's going to be the lapsed fan after. I mean, it is going to mark a delineation point in our history. I think too. I think in terms of people who who are coming, in terms of people who have any decided if they're going to come, people who who who maybe don't even haven't even heard about it just yet. Who will hear about it? This is going to You're going to learn not only are you going to learn about the truth of professional wrestling, the truth of the WWE, the truth of wrestling, fan of wrestling fandom, and wrestlemanium. You're going to learn some truth about yourselves. Oh my God, help us, all right, this is going to be this is going to be a a not just a not just a show, not just a live presentation. This is going to be a conference. This is going to be like a an inner active ted talk. It's a summit. It's a summit. It's a fireside chat. This is the keynote address. This is the real wrestling summit. All right, my god, fuck w NJPW and AJPW Wrestling Summit. This is the wrestling Summit. Because we're going on ten years and that tells us, without trying to make any friends in the professional wrestling industry, that we can find our people. Yes, we alienate none except perhaps those who wouldn't pay us a dollar for our labor in the first place, which is what wage exploitation, by the way. But the folks we've ended up with, the folks that will be in Punchline Philly on New April seventh, Sunday between nights one and two WrestleMania forty in Philadelphia, those are the ones that every podcast that's ever existed, chase for, need, thirst for. We're talking about a cross section of some of our MVP listeners, the kind of people that make something like the Lapsed Fan worth creating, putting out into the universe and onto the shelf forevermore. The kind of thing that attracts folks like our friend Ray Goots Yes, who came to the table and said, you know, this thing needs to be live, and I'm kind of up against it. Guys, can you pull together something that makes people need? Yep, what do you think? The answer to that question was, Boss, obviously, is this not your too. We can create this need. We have a need. We do it all the time, and we're about to do it with a full litany of ticket buyers here in this special podcast, the last one before we venture out to Philadelphia. Or we're going to talk to people who slap down cash, who put aside the bullshit, who put aside their pride, who put aside them their sense of their sales pride Somewhere I thought extinct well as well, they had to put their UFC aside as well. I'm glad you said that. I'm glad you made that clarification. But we're in this constant struggle, and we make fun of the struggle all the time of trying to explain to people who do not understand why anybody would like pro wrestling, let alone a pro wrestling podcast, to the extent that folks would fly all the way to Fililadelphia, in some cases from as far away as Australia, not to see the matches, not to go to Lincoln Financial Field, not to watch WrestleMania, but to watch us in a comedy club in Philadelphia on a Sunday afternoon. What would you tell them? What's happening here? After ten years of casting and casting and casting until you know, basically, it's like sort of like nuclear warfare. We've wiped out all species that tried to resist, and all that are left are the cockroaches still crawling, the loyals, the cockroaches, those cockroaches who just will never die. Maybe I'd say something like this, Maybe I would say, this is where it all begins again. Oh, you motherfucker. You know however, Ry look, I see the big liberty bell signal for WrestleMania forty. I see, of course, the Roman numerals for forty XL. I can't help thinking, Voss just a few days out from Punchline Philly, it's tlfx l. Oh. Yes, in so many ways. Oh, it will be extra large, it will be extra along, it will be extra hard, it will challenge you in your seat. It will penetrate extra deep. I don't think we're afraid to say it at this point. I don't think there's any turning back anyway. We know what it is we have to do. M April seventh, at punchline, Philly, do you get more into that if you could, please before we start calling motherfuckers? What do you mean? Do you have what do they do? They do you know listening out there? Do you know exactly what needs to happen? Do you know where the button is? Do you have what it takes to push the button if needs if need be. I know what's going to happen. I know what needs to happen. I know that there are going to be people there, friends, not friends, friends, maybe strangers, and they are going to realize they're going to be uncomfortable. They're gonna be squirming in their seats because it's like the matrix. It's like the matrix. Want the red pill, you want the blue pill. No pill is not a choice. One pill continues your life and your delusion, thinking that everything's okay, right, thinking you know, thinking that everything you knew was right, and somehow you're blameless in the entertainment that you support and pay for the other one will release you from this facade. Yes, open your eyes and make you realize exactly how complicit you actually are. It's the lapsed fan, Bozo's biceps and bullshit. Join us, brunch with us, enjoy a garage beer on the house. Sam right very proud to say that our friends at Garage Beer and upstart Punchy Hops brand has decided you know what, I fuck with TLF. Yes, I fuck with that cast. These are listeners that are worth putting a can of beer into the hands off. These are listeners who are at a place in life to say, you know what, if something's really good, I've reached a stage in my life where I can put some money towards the cause. It's no different than donating to National public radio. Yep, you've made the decision that public broadcasting are in this case, national public Carnies is where you ought to place your money because you want to see it perpetuate. Because this isn't just a what have you done for me lately? Proposition? This isn't just a what have you done for me lately? Society, there are a lot of people with that mentality and there's plenty of things in this earth and in the society that they can spend their energy on consuming. But that's not the proposition here. The proposition here has come to us if you understand that it's a virtuous cycle. Yes, that if you give, you get, Yes, And it may not be immediate. The gratification may not be instant, but when it builds up, let me tell you, the gratification is never. If you have instant gratification, my friend, you have problems down the road. It's right. What appears to be instant gratification is precisely the opposite. Yes, we let it build, We let it build, We let it build, and just when you think it's time to burst, we pinch the tip. Yes, because the lapsed fan Bozo's biceps and bullshit brunch as it ought to be on WrestleMania Weekend. Let's bring back the brunch, right, Let's bring back the fucking brunch and our friends at Punchline, Philly Sling and delicious food, great drinks. Can't canna help us do that? And our friends in the stand up comedy world, from the aforementioned Raygoots to David Pintowski to Scott Chaplin and Ryan Sheener and the Great lamyr Lee, several of whom you've heard from on these airwaves in the weeks leading up to the show, are also going to bring sardonic takes, seering takes. These are all wrestling fans who know the art of stand up yes, and they're going to help us process what it is we're going to witness on Saturday Night, Night one of WrestleMania, when Boss of the Rock steps back into the ring, and what do you think it's going to demonstrate? What do you think if you had to take your guess, the prevailing emotion, the prevailing sentiment is going to be as we take the stage Sunday afternoon, about what the Rock was able to bring to the Squared Circle in Philadelphia after all these years. I don't know what the Rock is going to bring, but I guarantee you right now, I predict that people will not be too comfortable that Cody's going to come out as the champion Sunday night, all Right, They or or the other is is that they're entirely confident that Cody will come out as champion Sunday Night. And then I am I am sitting here and I am predicting, or at least I have a gut feeling that we will be disappointed again. I'm thinking back to last year, yep, where we took the stage on Mania weekend for the first time in Los Angeles after Night two of Mania wrapped, and Cody was sitting there staring off into space after dropping the opportunity to finish the story, and I remember just this sense of, like, man, as much as we play up the idea at TLF, that you'll end up disappointed that, or at the very least, that they'll end up not giving you what it is you feel like you want. Yes, that you know practically, of course they're going to put Cody over. Of course he's going to leave with the championship. I mean, it only makes sense. And then he didn't, right, And we rode to that club after Night to of WrestleMania to take the stage with an electricity at our backs because so much of what we sensed was true was heretofore confirmed correct about the true nature of wrestling fandom, which is to say, the way to keep them on a hook for a lifetime is to disappoint them time and time again. Yep. Because we've talked about this for ten years. Now, when you get what you need, when you get what you want, I should have said, don't you quickly find out that, my god, that's not what I wanted at all. Isn't what you tell yourself you want? In fact, practically the last thing that will satisfy you once you have any sure isn't life a bad surprises? Isn't what you want to receive something you didn't expect to receive, You know, not actually know what you want. You think you do, You've been told that you do, but it's all false. And also in this whole thing, you know, in this in this facade of grappling and and combat, in one on one combat, the last thing, because because it's got nothing to do with what you want, it's got to do with what they think is going to make the most money, and that, generally speaking, I think, is never what you actually want. And getting thrown a bow in every ten years or five years does not count. Yeah, the exception, friends, does not prove the rule in professional wrestling, as it doesn't in any other lane of life. So here I am again, a week out from WrestleMania forty, with the same feeling of you know, we say all this about how they won't get what they want, but practically they're going to put Cody over. Practically they're going to deliver what it was that the base apparently rose up to demand, switching up all kinds of plans. We felt that way last year, yep, And despite the lesson, here I am again this year thinking, you know, when we take the stage on Sunday afternoon, we are going to have to stand there and acknowledge, as Roman Reigns would put it, that it was a fantastic execution and that Cody is on path. And we're not Cody. We're not Cody fanboys. We're not saying that we want Cody to win like we're cheering for him. We're just sensing what it is that a Cody victory would signal about the WWE, and what Cody not triumphing cleanly would signal about ww and what would signal about this supposed new regime's attitude towards the fan base. Yes, and so what's so electrifying is we don't know what prevailing sentiment's going to be when we step onto the stage. We don't know what about our theses will have been proven or disproven. We don't know what hypotheses will have to be tossed to the side, but I will tell you this, we will set down the definitive word and we will deliver all of that crazy yes, fuck, carnivorous, wild zany peripheral commentary looking back, looking forward, looking back fifty years, looking ahead one hundred years. The Rogue's gallery of lapsed characters that, while not delivering in most cases words the wrestlers ever spoken, speak more truth when processed through our voices and our filters than they ever did in their time on earth. Yep, expect that to continue on stage. Punchline, Philly and the most unfiltered what you've ever seen from your co chairs. Not a game, not at a joke, not a game, motherfuckers. And you know by now that we're raffling off an authentic Terry Funk branding iron where else but Philadelphia? Does it make sense to pay this level of tribute to the greatest of all time abstrusion we made after the lapsed Funk Damn straight. This is exactly the kind of serendipity we talk about. No plan here, not a sitting down and saying, you know, do a live show in Philly and Phillies about ECW and ECW's about Terry Funk, and Terry Funk's about a branding iron setting the ecw Ren on fire, or at least cactus Jack and a fan in the front row. Maybe we should do a laps. No, these things fall into place, and what a privilege it's going to be because we're here to announce we have shut the gate. We told you it was coming. No more qualifying for the Funk branding iron. Too late, bitch, too late. Everyone who might win is in has purchase tickets at Punchlinephilly dot com to join us in Philadelphia. And that is the pool. And it's a robust one. I will tell you it's a robust one. Has a list together myself in the past couple of days. But we do have one other carrot to dangle. Yes, if that is not if that's a missed opportunity for you, yes, and if you still need a sweetener to put the cash on the table to join us at noon on Sunday, to be where no one who attends is going to regret being by the time it's over, and if they do, fuck So that's a nice attitude to have agreed nice liberty that that allows you fuck them. We are announcing, as we've done on social media, that we've partnered up with ring Side Collectibles. M Are these guys not in nexus to some comfort and joy? Bossy? They are? They? Yes, it is twenty four to seven figures. Let's fucking go, folks, try to start making calls. Time to smile and dial time for the Jerry Lewis TLF telethon. What do you say, Boss, I say, it's time Yellow. It's a Steve. This is my god. Do you have what it takes? Steve always all right? For those who don't know. Last year, you remember all of the hoopla around the fact that our live show was in North Hollywood after WrestleMania. How are we going to get there? How are fans going to get their traffic? All logistics who are so worried about that. Steve and Jillian couldn't be more thorough support. They got the lapsed caravan together and Boss, tell the people were standing outside the club and this fucking van pulls up. I mean, it's it's almost like a fucking cartoon. You know where this this fucking van pulls up and it's a clown car of of of humanity leaving. It's amazing, it was brilliant, it was it was exactly what that called for. So it's the lapsed caravan. All the fans pile out, jump into the comedy club and have a great time. Steve, we can't thank you enough for the continued thorough support. Tell the people who maybe in the sound of your voice and our voices, who might be on the fence about joining us. April seventh, the punchline, Philly, you know, proof of concept. If you will, you can't miss it. I mean it's a sure thing, especially with the timing this year. Like you mentioned, the big problem last time was logistics and it was gonna be so late and it was kind of, you know, a struggle to get there. But this time, you know, it's noon, have brunch, have some emosas. It's gonna be great. I mean, it's NonStop laughs. Yes, it's gonna set you up for that final night of mania. I'm excited that I'm not gonna be you know, fifteen diet in Jack Daniels Deep. This time I'm gonna actually remember a lot of the show. Oh my god, it's so tremendous. You had like a Shawn Michael's outfit on or something. Yes, was Shawn Michaels things. Oh, that was wonderful, delightful. So what needs to be said? I mean, we're no promises made, Steve, but a lot has happened in the wrestling business since we did LA last year, A lot of things that people are turning to us to lay the truth down on. What would you be disappointed in if we didn't address on stage at Punchline Philly. I think first and foremost you have to touch on the Vince McMahon that you guys predicted back in your WrestleMania Journey laps. Vince has turned out to not only be true, but one hundred percent accurate in what ways talking about shitting on people, on people, oh man, just to start with that, just his absurdness, his demands to push people for sexual favors. You had it all, you had it all, and I cannot wait and tell what lapse, Evince. Let's loose on that stage and what you envision when we raise the branding iron high in Philly. Well, what's that about? What does that say? What does that signal? That signals the perfect end to this ten year journey, or at least the perfect setup for a new kind of era. You're taking the greatness of Terry Funk and something that is, you know, symbolic to him, and hopefully whoever wins it gets a little branding on their ass. Yes, is that a formal request, Steve? Listen, I'll put some fucking calls out there, man, I'll heat that thing up. If you win it, you take it, It's gotta happen, all right. Well, stakes are raised, stakes are high. Well. Closing Steve, thanks for making yourself available. First of all, thanks for the amazing years and years of some of the most thorough support that any podcast could ever ask for. Closing words, why do you need to be there on Sunday afternoon? Even if you're only vaguely aware of what TLF is? Why do you have to be there? If you even just vaguely like wrestling, and you even just vaguely like to laugh, you will go to this show and you will have the best time of your weekend. Doesn't matter if Cody finishes his story, It doesn't matter what the Rock does this will be the thing you remember most from Mania weekend. I think the only thing Cody's going to be finishing is finishing on Brandy. Well, if you take the why out, I think the same can be said for us as we hoist the branding iron on Sunday at noontime. Steve, We'll see in Philly, Powell see you guys in a week. He's a lapsed fan wrestling podcast with Jack and Corn and JP Sorrow. He's a lapsed fan wrestling podcast. I mean, I don't know. I'm make sure how many other podcasts could cold call or any you know, how many other forms of entertainment and general cold call their customers and get that out of them. I don't know. I don't, I don't. I don't really think that there are many. I mean, if there are, I don't know them. So that's you know, I don't know, boy, I don't know. People have high expectations here, I guess, so I guess all So hungry are you? Oh? Yes, I'm hungry for a Philly cheese steak every day that we are there. I mean, looks fan the lapsed fan at gmail dot com. We've got some great suggestions. From people in and around Philly who listen to the show. As far as where we should go, I've got a short list, but please let us know you're preferred. Gotta go. Everyone says this place is the best. However, this is the best place. We can't hit it all. It's not going to be a very long trip, and it's a wonderful city. We'll have to go back some day, but we do want to reach a conclusion on Chief Steaks. I think I can speak for both of us there for sure. I need I need satisfaction in the Chief Steak department. Do you have any memory of what the name of the place was that we went to when we did Renaissance Rumble in Philly? No, I just remember it was the middle of nowhere, So we'll have to let it was nice. Did we did we record there or was it or did we make that now? We brought it back to the room and wolfed it down, I know, but did wed wed it all? Like? I'm pretty sure, I wonder. I wonder if it's in I wonder, I just didn't know. If you remember on your head, I can I can find it. But yeah, because it's you know, if we're gonna eat. And that's another thing. I mean, oh, we're gonna roll tape. Absolutely, it was Joe's Steak and Soda Shop Joe's Steak and Soda, So that one's under our belt. It was probably still probably still there somewhere. Yeah, it definitely is still under my belt. I don't think i've processed that, uh that's sandwich just yet. So we've gotten that done. We did the Liberty Belt Diner as well, remember that that fucking oh god. Yes, And just because we're taking the stage for our own live presentation on Sunday doesn't mean we're heading in to Philadelphia without eyes wide open. And you've come to expect everytime the coachman or on the road or eyes wide shut right. It depends, I guess it depends what hotel will end up at. That's true. But we're going to be bringing you exclusive content, not content, all weekend at patreon dot com Slash the Lapsed Fan because we always keep our patrons in mind. When we're on the ground and something strikes our fancy, we start recording, we don't give a fuck. We start doing a diary, can't we can't help it. You're going to get you're going to get on Patreon. You will have exclusive, exclusive on the ground coverage of what's going on in Philly, the truth of what's going on in Philly. Do you think about some of the carnies we've run into at the Russell cons I just have to remember to go to the ATM beforehand this time. Just got a lot of ones that'll do the trick. Oh fail, Brother, can't be having missed calls, ladies and gentle Wow, look at that form. Bad form. I'm not going to put him on blast, but what you came about you should I sure see. Let's keep rolling here. I don't care if you get fucking uh you know you get if you got trauma going on. Not my problem. You answered the fucking phone when the co chairs call? Brother? Yeah, brother? Are these even real fans that there? No? Right? Hello? Is this Greg? Yes? It is. You're on the line with your co chairs, Greg, How are you? I will? How are you guys doing that? Just wonderful, man, It's just great to connect with members of the Solar system. We've done the right thing and come out of pocket. Boss. I want you to know that when Greg bought his tickets to the brunch His one liner was, my girlfriend will never forgive me. I can confirm that. I can confirm that. Can you tell us, Greg, why you decided to share that sentiment upon purchase? I just want you to know that the pain you bring your listeners, yes, is going forward and moving beyond just the years of the listeners. Yes, and I can I can happily report that she is still here, she knows she is going, and she has not taken the opportunity to run. This is the second straight person we've called who's bringing a significant other. I mean it's look, you know us right, We're not going to act like where the one podcast that you can actually get the respect of your significant others from or your you know, general family, if anything that you opposite. We definitely cause more problem than solve it. But we're the best shot you got, Greg. If you got to go to something in Philly, I might as well be. Yes. I just all the girlfriends in the corner huddled and just discussing how much they dislike their lives. We should have we should have like a significant other box, you know, where they can kind of like huddle up for a while and see what exactly they're involved with. You know, in terms of relationship like a football live section. You surely don't see my wife and kid coming. No fucking way, I support me. You know what they wanted to like. No, no, it's not a good it's not a good idea. That's when the Larry David comes out. Well, Greg, look, first of all, thank you so much for the support. Thank you for making sure that something like this, you know, brings the true lapsed fans out of the woodwork. Tell people, if you could do us a favor, what it is that they they'll be coming to see. If they're on the fence, you know, if they heard of us, if they're vaguely aware of the show, bring it home for him, if you could explain why you felt you need to be there. So normally I despise live podcasts. Usually the audio quality is bad. They're not as funny as they are on recorded content. So I've never gone to one, But come on, people, this is a lab span. If you saw last year's event during WrestleMania Weekend or whatever that was, it was quality time. And I am a mere I don't now thirty minutes across the bridge in New Jersey. As of now, I am not going to a single Wrestlingia weekend show event whatever, except for the Lab span there is I will say, the guys from the DVDR board Tony Khan used to work on. They are doing a show I believe the night before in Williamstown, New Jersey, kind of a dream show. Just some members of the forum put together some money and decided to do an indie show. So I may go to that one for old time sake. But Labs Fan, as far as I'm concerned, is the is the reason for wrestling the weekend? Who needs a big stadium show when you have the Labs Fan And why is that? You know you say that and people go, what are you talking about? These are just two idiots. What is it? What do we what do we do? That takes it to a different level, you know, why is this different than what folks might expect when they hear that a wrestling podcast is doing a live show at WrestleMania Weekend another podcast has done thanks to my ass, that's a great starting yes, for one, and for two, it's just the perfect combination of history and comedy. I absolutely hate when I listen to a podcast usually this is about film, where you get the sense that the people who are telling you about the film that their extent of their research has been going on to IMDb and with trivia notes or the budget notes, and when you know about a topic, you say, oh, that's wrong, that's wrong, that's probably wrong. They missed this. It is very rare where I listen to the lab span and say, oh, those dumb bastards didn't find this source. How easy would that would have would that have been? It never happens with the last fam And look, if it does, email us and we'll correct it. Because we're not out We're not out here claiming omniscients because we cite our sources. We're not afraid to credit everybody that contributes to the Mosaic, wittingly or unwittingly. We're not afraid to say this is where we got it from, and let's grapple about the truth of it. We don't pretend to have known everything ahead of time and have to, you know, hide the fact that most of what we know came from others work and not ours. We stand on that business, and we'd invite you to, you know, contribute sources to the Mosaic that we may have missed. But to Greg's point, it's a rare thing, indeed, and it's going to be a very frustrating exercise for you if you try to poke holes in us on that basis. Well, we're taking the stage live in Philadelphia, Greg, and we're going to be asking this if ticket buyers here in this special podcast, what would you be disappointed if we didn't cover I just want some impressions of people from Philadelphia. I've heard Boston, I've heard New England, New York, but I think we need some Philadelphia characters. Well you're you're from across the bridge. Who comes right to mind? Hm? Putting them on the spot here? Okay, if don't comes to mind, that's fine too. Philly scumbags, maybe South Philly scumbags. Maybe uh some fans of of nineteen eighties w W W w F with their first seeing of of ECW in the nineties, I don't know. There's there's a lot of there's a lot to pick from some plays on for example, John. That's the hard part for me. It's the accent. I can't get the accent. That's want to be tough, Greg. Everyone thinks they can do a Philly but almost no one can Am I wrong about that? No, you're You're correct, But I have faith. What's uh, what's a tip? Give us a tip as to like, what's a common mistake people make when they try to do Philly. Well now, in my little bubble of South Jersey, I do not have any tips. I'm sorry. Well, that's great, all maybe we don't disappoint you. Yeah, right, exactly personally. So he's not going to accuse us a sound like people from Baltimore or something like that. So that's good. So I like that like a nice low ceiling. Well, Greg, we need to thank you profusely for your vote of confidence and for your willingness to come on the show and tell people the truth. We appreciate your honesty here on the show and we can't wait to see in Philly Poe. Thank you looking forward to it, and thank you for the show. Thank you for coming you, thank you, thank you? What what who was? Who was that? Dude? Who did you just call? Dude? Like? What? Hold on? Whoa before you make another call? Who you call him? Dude? CAUs? Why are you making phone calls brother on the podcasting? I just want to know, bro, why are you not clearing your podcast? Calls with me. Dude, you know, you know it's funny. He makes it. He makes an interesting point, and I'm gonna tell you this. He said that that that the podcasts that normally that they're not as funny or they're not as they're not the same as what you hear. And I'll tell you you know what, I think maybe a reason why not meane not the reason, but maybe a reason is is because we don't edit because what you hear, you know, what you hear is what you get. Yeah, you know you're not gonna you know, I know a lot of people can criticize that, which is fine. It's your right to criticize, and it's our right to say, uh, fuck yourself, and we're not gonna We're gonna keep doing what we're doing because you're gonna hear the good ship, you're gonna hear the bad ship. I know that all my I know for a fact that all my uh that not all my my my assides land, but that's the way it goes. Yeah, exactly, we're in this to take shots on goal. Yes, you know, we're in this to retire having taken more shots on goal than any other podcast. Not necessarily to have gotten more goals than any other podcast, you know, minute for minute on the ice, but we're taking the most shots on goal and there's something to be said for that. And again unfiltered, right, we're not trying to hide or mask or play around with the fact that sometimes we stumble in the areas that go nowhere. Sometimes we stumble in areas where we don't necessarily know what conclusion to reach. But that's that's that's what makes this an ecosystem because we can we can have the confidence to go there because we know that the solar system, we'll have our back to point us in the right direction if we go a fi too far afield, Yes, right, if there's something we don't know or can understand or don't explain, they're there to say, look, it's part of my responsibility too, to make the show complete, to make the show definitive, to make the show cannon. And so here you go. Here's here's here's some work that I did to find the answer to your question. Here's here's some helpful constructive criticism right about where to steer things next time. And when you have that kind of liberty, when you have that kind of freedom to know that you can fall in your face. You can't be stopped. Yes, because everybody else is just tiptoeing around an eggshell's trying to avoid that moment. When we just whistle past it, we whistle past it straight to punchline Philly. Mm hmmm mm hmmm. Hello, is this Tyson or is it Austin? It's Michaels. Oh shit, ro number fucking m VP. This guy is what a pleasure to talk to. Austin. You know, when you talk about like a short list of Solar System members that you hope can find a way to join you when you take the plunge into a live show, He's among them, Austin. Thank you for the support man, and just tell us, just tell us right off the bat. Anyone who's on the fence, who's vaguely familiar with us or hasn't heard of us at all, But here's about us in Philly Wrestleing New Weekend. Why are they got to be there? What's what? What does it come down to? Uh, it comes down to being part of history. Yeah, nothing else. I mean I bought a ticket last year and I was halfway across the country, or all the way across the country and no way of getting there. It's it's a it's it's a historic moment for for the cast, it's a historic moment for for wrestling. You've got to be a part of it. If you can get there any any way you can get there, you gotta get there. What makes it historic? What? What? What is the what is the need we're feeling here? Man? That's a loaded question? What right weekend? I think uh, I think no one's going to give a review of Night one that is more unadulterated and more raw and more needed than you guys will. And no one's going to give a preview of what's to come like you guys will. Uh. Not only that, but if you haven't proven over ten years that these aren't impressions that you guys are doing. These are a distillation of a truth that we all are trying to ignore, then you're not paying attention or you're not listening to the cast. So if you wanted to actually see what the truth of not just wrestling, but reality is, you need to come to You need to come to the punchline in Philly. All right, So you got that, boss, you cut that time code bark down that's one for the fucking record books right there. Damn Jesus Christ, no wonder we're so strong. Our fans are better at putting it into words than we are half the time. I know it's always the case, that's always been the case. That was exactly what we're trying to get across Austin. So that that's wonderful. So again, I mean, someone else say, what the fuck did you buy a ticket to a podcast for last year that you couldn't even go? I tell the people why that was necessary. Well, so I know I couldn't go to Los Angeles last year, but I also knew that if I wanted you guys to be able to do it again, hopefully at a venue closer to me that I had, if I was going to live with myself, if I was gonna be able to sleep at night, I had to support it right. I had to do whatever I could do to support it and make sure it was a rousing success so that you guys im your first thought would be we've got to do it again next year. And then they announced silly and I was hoping that it would you guys would do the same thing, And then whispers started happening in the back end of your or you know, the background of your podcasts, and you know that support came to Fruition. You know, I just had to support. It's like the h it's like build the dreams. If you build it, they will come. If you support it, it will happen, Right. So I just had to do what I had to do, and I stayed. Actually, I bought a virtual ticket to listen to the recording or to you guys doing it live last year. Tried my damnedest to stay awake as much as I could, probably passed out for like ten minutes somewhere in the middle, and woke up for the last twenty minutes. That was probably some of the most exhilarating wrestling related content I've ever heard in my life. Why Why, Why, Why Why come on? Because it's one thing to hear a recording of you guys talking about wrestling shows. It's another to hear you in character distilling current events in a way that is more true and more just the essence of what's actually going on than what anything you'll read in real media or wrestling media. It's just it's the The monologue that you win on Boss was everything's come true that you have said that you said a year ago, everything has come true and then some and it's like you were hearing prophecy more than you were hearing uh, you know, just funny impressions that boss. It's not your Life podcast on April seventh. It's a live prophecy, a prophecy podcast. That's what we do Austin. No, yes, no, people, people are gonna pretend that's not what's going on right right right, are gonna pretend that this is just you know, guys laughing at their own jokes. This is guys that just like to make each other laugh, which, by the way, is all that matters in this world anyways. Like bingo, imagine, imagine the soulless person who, out of pride, doesn't bring themselves to laugh when others are laughing, even if they don't find it funny. Like I mean, you talk about like one personality characteristic that will define whether you you know, live a happy life or a not happy life. It's whether you can bring yourself to laugh at other people laughing. You know, if you if other people laughing doesn't make you laugh, no matter what the joke was, The man best of luck to you, But I'm gonna be over here in this lane. I can't deal with those people. Yes, Jack, that's the person that that doesn't get the address to where the happy hours are happening. Exactly. There's so many consequences to acting like that. Well, I know one consequence of my Sunday driving five hours round trip to Philly and back is going to be a live show that I will take take for me the rest of my life. I'm not going to Wrestlingia. By the way, tickets are way too expensive. Are you are like five hundred dollars to sit behind the stage at this point because resale prices. No, I'm driving two and a half hours that morning up and then after the show, driving two and a half hours back to Northern Virginia, just the win to Philly, literally just for this show, and anybody within a three hour radius just made up because it's not that long of a drive. You nailed it. That's exactly right, boss. You know he said something that I know electrifies you. We've talked over the years, but why is it that it gives you a particular thrill to hear from folks like Austin who are coming to see us and not even going anywhere near wrestlinga because I mean it's obvious. It's obvious. It's obvious because we fill the void, thank you, and going to something like WrestleMania for so many people, for so many people, it only widens the void. It deepens the void. It maybe creates another void. We fill the void. We do it hard, we do it rough, and we do it with no consequences. Speak for yourself, Well, you know that void. I was at WrestleMania two years ago in Alice, and as much as a lot of that show was an amazing amount of fun, the thing that stuck with me more than anything is just washing stone colds on people. Yeah, I like that. That's that's what's resonated with me. Like, that's what I've loved with. Yes, the Cody entrance was amazing. Yes, the Jackass match was was hilarious. But watching I never got to go to shows when I was a kid, So getting a chance to see stone cold stun people is was what made the ticket price worth it, right, Like, the void is there for a reason because it did used to be better. It just did. You can you can play games all day long and you can say oh you know this, that and the other. Look at these athletes, look at these guys, look at the look at the women that are you know, better wrestlers. State that's awesome, that's amazing. There's good things. But there's a reason why Stone Cold was on both nights of Wrestling India. Choose you owned oubts. And it wasn't just because he's a Texan. It's because that's what people bought a ticket for. You can you can give it to be anything else. There were a lot of people that were in that building that I just to see that man who was in his prime twenty plus years before that. And and and Austin, here comes the Rock, Here comes the Rock this year? Why does why do you need the Rock to have the biggest WrestleMania all time if it didn't used to be better because you played the stone Cold card two years ago? He triple h in the in the ring even though he thinks he would be the biggest WRESTLM MEANDIA of all time. Right then, even then that's it, though, It's like, because no one today matters that much, You've got the Rock. Well, the Rock thinks he matters more than anything combined, right but you know he's he he's the card they have left to play, and he knows it. So he's you know, if I hope her by crook, he's going to be I still can't believe he wasn't at the little Hollywood WrestleMania. I don't know how that happened, but uh no, he's got to be there because if it's going to be wrestlinga forty, it's going to be the biggest of all time. They have to play the biggest card they have left to play, by the way, is supposed to be there too. By the way, Brother, Oh, I didn't even know that really hearing a bit about that the wall behind him as he goes to the I would imagine I would have. I would I would imagine that he's going to uh, at the very least, he's going to uh, he's going to get a pin on the rock. He never got that win back. I think bloodline rules. Well, he's horrified that that Roman's going to break his rain, right, brother, can you imagine that's the that's the final hook is hold costs reins the title. He's going to take his heat. Yes, brother, I couldn't do my rain. Brother, You've got Roman's ring my rain is it raining out? What? Or maybe you know, maybe Linda Hogan costs Roman time. I mean, that's that's one finish we haven't thought of. Well, Brooke could do it. I mean, here we are. The Rock headlined his first wrestling in Philadelphia in nineteen ninety nine. I was twenty five years ago, right, yeah, twenty five years ago. I don't know, Austin. I think Roman is a wonderful performer. I think Cody is a wonderful performer. I think you know, Drew is great. I think a lot of the guys on both nights are wonderful performers and great wrestler. I know the boss, right, Boss. I know you're about to say Seth Rowlin should be in that conversation as well. But do you think in twenty five years we're going to be standing here saying they rarely brought back Cody because I talk about that ship, that piece of shit. You know, in twenty five years, Cody and Roman will be sixty five years old. So I highly doubt it. That's number one. That's number one, they're more likely to bring Rock back in twenty five years. I think there's they don't have anyone young enough and over enough for that to be the case. They have nobody, right, And maybe that's why it used to be better. You know, shoot me for saying it, but maybe that's why used to be better. That's one of the many reasons I think it used to be better because guys could mean as much as Roman and Cody do ten years earlier, when there was that much more attention paid to trying to present wrestling as something that wasn't a give and take. We're all in this together, fucking happy horseshit, you know, celebration of synergy, when it was where the fucking stars, where the ass kickers, We're showing up. You sit on your fucking ass and you watch us do what we have to do to win titles and collect checks. Some of that is kind of coming back, but it's it's it takes way too much bullshit to get to the level that you can resonate, whereas that used to be day one table stakes when it used to be better. Yep, shoot me for saying this, but I relapsed into wrestling after NXT already had its heyday. Sure yep, my brother, My brother spent years trying to get me back in wrestling. He was amazing and and I refused until until basically COVID. I went back in as I was bored with watching whole wrestling and I got back into it. Right. I think NXD actually had a counter effect because you have all these talents that were ready to go, and you made them wasting five six years ago and NXT proving they can work the JP. What's the What would then say about the certain style that they have to work? I believe, well he'd had to work the work a main events style that really would contribute to the different demographics and the ability to upload and download verticals and horizontals, and a premium and a premium economy, all of that you're telling me, You tell me, Kevin Owens couldn't have couldn't have been as effective, even more off thattive in his late twenties, just jumping straps to the main roster and spending how many every years and tiny venus a great take albeit great takeover shows. XDY had the counter effect. It wasted the golden years of so many great talents. Yes, right, uh, And you know, while produce some good TV, I guess they're good wrestling quote unquote, and how they have all these stars who are great. Kevin Owens is I think he's amazing, but he's almost forty, right, I mean, and we still feel like he has yet to get his moment. It's like, guy, he's not gonna get this moment. No, that's the whole point. Samy think could win the Inner Contry, but she probably will And who cares, he's thirty eight years old or whatever. Okay, cool, thank you Sammy. But like it's not happening. If it hasn't happened by now, it's not happening. What we're excited for is not to watch a wrestler work fifteen years to get there and then spend two years there. We're excited to watch a wrestler get there and spend fifteen years there. Yes, and the business is not constituted like it used to be. This is These are not critiques of the performers. This is a critique of the superstructure of the business. You don't have as many operations trying to make a go of it and being forced to put talent out there to get themselves over in an organic way, in a sustainable way, in a tear a funk way, We're just not coming anywhere near producing Terry Funks anymore. And I don't understand why it has to be that way, and I don't understand why it's some sort of religious thing to point that out. We don't deserve Terry Funks anymore. That's part of the problem too, Is that true, Austin. We don't We don't deserve Terry Funks, deserve Stone Colds, we don't deserve Brett Harts, we don't deserve any of those guys anymore. Because what we deserve is, uh is well branded vehicular entertainment. Uh uh you know modules that that could work across multiple verticals and horizontals. That's what we deserve. Well, I'm glad you've seen. Are you sure not going to this WWE World theme park? They're saying, Oh my god, Oh I'm I'm just worried about after the show because the only way to get back home is the literally drive across the bridge that's right by the fucking venue. So I'm just hoping I can get through all the stupid traffic to get away from the stadium as fast as I can. That's what That's where my head's at. After after punchline of Philly. As always, you make the drive and you know your CoA chairman have your back. We'll be in there watching so you don't have to and you'll be in there watching. So to your point at the beginning of the call, we can do it again and again and again and again. Get on Austin's level, folks, get a listener like this guy, and then we can talk. Austin can't wait to see you in Philly, looking forward to it, guys, Sunday can't come quick enough. That's correct, See man, amazing? I mean, what what right? Is there a problem? I understand? Why? Why do they keep going back to that bit? So? Yeah, hey, yeah, well it makes me laugh watch this so let'll tell you what. Watch this bitch. When it stops making me laugh, I'll tell you what. Then we'll then I'll consider stop doing it. Meanwhile, they love the young Bucks because they kept superkicking when people said they were super kicking too much. Well, we do the same thing. It makes us the opposite. Of course, of course it's fine. We're not because we make them uncomfortable. That's the always the way. This is Tom. This is Tom? Is this Tom? The heavy hitter? Yep, that's me. Is this where you need to go in your need of litigation? Yes, this is the spot you got me, Tom, Ladies and gentlemen, we are just so fucking gassed up for Philadelphia. We're headed there. There's nothing between us but air an opportunity, and thanks to great listeners like yourself, it's going to be a wonderful crowd at Punchline Philly. Tom, I'm gonna ask you what asked everybody this far and what we'll ask everybody going forward. If there's anybody in the sound of your voice he's kind of vaguely aware of TLF, vaguely where we're doing a show, or comes to know about it when they hit the ground in Philly this weekend. Why do they have to be there? What is it that we're doing here? Why did you buy a ticket? What is this? What is this all about? Yeah? I think the biggest thing for me. You know, TLF. You can tell people that it's the best researched podcast, you can tell people that it's the funniest podcast. You can tell them anything about the actual show. But the thing that sticks out for me the most is that I remember where I was when I hear the big moments on your show the same way that I do with big news events, speak, sporting events, that kind of stuff. Like I remember where where I was driving on my way to a Cord appearance out towards Central Islip when the boss Man got slammed in Detroit, and I remember I remember where I was when when I listened to the Over the Edge episode. I can picture myself in that moment with the von Eeric press conference where the boss Man kind of had his moment too, and I shared it with him. I remember sitting right in my in my office at the time listening to it. And I remember the first time. I remember exactly where I was when I wrote into you guys for the first time, and I was I was pumped up about it. I was glad to kind of contribute to a show that I was really enjoying. This is going back to like the Halloween Havoc Jericho Malenko. It's my all time favorite. Wow wow. So I rode in you guys read it on the air. I was so amped up and then and then something kind of funny happened. So that's that's the reason I'm buying the ticket, right is is because I want that premium live experience. You know, I don't want it secondhand while I'm on the road. I want it in person. But also, something kind of funny happened. You guys ended up getting law degrees and so so after a while, I wasn't just listening to you guys talk wrestling. All of a sudden, you're in my wheelhouse. You know, you're You've got docket entries and motions and you're reading court transcripts and so, you know, you were. You guys were kind enough to allow me to kind of opine on a few things and and help you out with the the Hogan Contract episodes and maybe be the uh, the razor that you guys run for that extra quarter of a star in that episode. Nice and uh and and I want it. I want more? Damn right you do, God, damn it? Goddamn So can I can I give you a small a small digression that paints that picture so so so after that episode comes out, I'm so I'm so amped up. But I really I've only got two people I can share it with. I'm I'm going to send it to my mom and my wife. I'm gonna my wrestling buddy, the fact that you have that many is really unbelievable. So I got to college Buddies and I sent, I send the episode. I send the link to a guy and I'm like, look, I've told you about this pod a couple of times. They let me do an episode. You know. My my piece is like, you know, three hours in forty eight minutes into the fourth part of this episode. If you want to, just just just listen to the ten minutes or so that I'm on there, you know, I think you'll get a kick out of it. And he breaks me back like a day and a half later, like I'm digging through the back catalog. You got me hooked you. So not only am I coming, but I bought him a ticket. I'm picking him him up on the way and we're gonna do the trip together. Oh dude, you're fucking you see her? Fucking what's going on here? Boss? And there's a particular podcast. Ah, yeah, there's a particular pod. There's a particular podcast. There's it might be called tom Yeah, it's it's TLF. It's in that ass, and it's happening on Sunday. You gotta be there. That's it. Fucking hell, well, man, I cannot wait even more so than before ye to shake hands with you and to see you Untline Philly, Sunday, April seven, Folks, this is not a fucking joke, Like we're not just sitting here making this ship up. Every time we go off on these tangents about what we're achieving here, it's because we know that under the surface there's listeners like Tom that's that that stand willing to testify to that fact. Yes, you know, it's like it's it's ten times more voluminous than you think it is when you roll your eyes when we tell you that we're we're we're doing something significant here. Yes, And I think Punchline Failly Tom is going to just be the latest, uh, the latest exhibit if you will, no doubt. See you there, Pal, I love it. See you guys soon, no doubt. He's a lapsed fan wrestling podcast with Jack and and JP Sorrow. It's the lapsed fan wrestling podcast. Good stuff, damn good stuff. Is it a particular podcast? Is that what it is? I have been told this a particular podcast. I wanna the next person we call I want to do I'm gonna I wanna when they answer, I'm gonna just talk as Jesse. All right, Well, I know I know who to subject to that. Hi, this is just you, the body ofn Toura, Minnesota governor. Can I cover your support as a third party candidate? Something tells me the answer will not be no. But let's see what our good friend Rob thinks about it. We're phone banking here, folkus try to get out the vote. Hello, Hi, Rob, this is just you, the body even Toura calling. How are you tonight? Uh? Jesse? What's up? Brother? Hey? I want to ask you something. Are you? Are you a fan of third party candidates? Do you believe that we deserve to have a third party candidate in the White House? Do you like in chiladas? Do you like in chiladasas are very good? I can't believe Rob, you pop laps? Jesse? How did you do that? This is fucking amazing. So it's punchline Philly. Rob stepped up. Rob said, fuck this, let me buy that ticket and let me let the coach chairman. No, I bought that ticket because I'm done fucking around. I'm done pretending the TLF isn't that fucking cast? Rob? Tell them why you did it. I did it because it's been a long journey, like nine years or so listening to it, and I've never got a chance to go to a lot of them that you guys have held or anything, any of the sarcast or stuff, and so I just thought, you know, this is for me, like an hour fifteen minute or sour trip, super easy, and what an opportunity to see the co chairs, you know, pick some ass in Philly. And at one time I was considering actually going to WrestleMania, and gradually I was like, I don't want to go to that. I just want to go to see the least. So I thought, one, boss, that's it. I love it. I love it. Someone might say, yeah, go ahead, please No, No, It's just like I've never got to go to WrestleMania. I've got to go a few events in my life. I came of the Ring. Ninety four was the real like wow wow, within the first year that I was really a fan. So I didn't even know about the art town have been commentary until a lot of years later. Because I was their lives, I didn't hear it. And that was a pleasure to go back and visit. When you guys covered them in the early early times. So but yeah, you know, I've Wrestledania. You know, I'll probably go one day with the house. It's ever close to me, and as it's gotten closer, you know, I've thought about it back to last summer even it was just like I just don't care, Like I I'd be happier just to I'll probably even just read about it, but maybe watch it, maybe watch it for a change the last few years. And yeah, I don't know, I just it's not gonna be that golden era that you know that we all crave, but it's still gonna you know, it's gonna be interesting. I do think this year definitely has a different feel to it or the rock back and you know, Cody maybe for once finally getting to shut up and win and hopefully shut up some more. Absolutely, you know, as Rob's talking, boss, it's kind of occurring to me, like, you know, we talked about TLFX all the time, and we name this podcast the Lapsed Fan. Yes, kind of before we had a fully formed idea of what that would come to represent. Yes, whose voice it is that we've representing, we were taking a bet that there were people like rob out there who loved wrestling enough that they would buy a ticket to watch a live podcast, but also skip going to WrestleMania because they're lapsed. I don't think I ever would have thought that. I don't think there's yeah that are exactly who we pictured being the listener of this podcast. And look, it's no obviously needless to say, it's nowhere near the volume of people that actually are plugged in a ww and excited to go to WrestleMania this year. It's nowhere near the volume of people that are even into the top wrestling podcasts in the space. Nowhere near. But I'll tell you what, Boss, pound for pound, dollar for dollar, beat of support by breather of support, brother for brother, we found them. We found the wrestling fans that the C suite wants to wants to sell to advertisers. Yes, we found the wrestling fans who love it so much that they'll come to see us lay down the truth and skip the current thing. Don't act like they're not out there, and and these are and these are real testimonials, and these are fans. And that excites me. That excites me so much that that that that that we weren't able to find this unique and elite group of individuals. That's the thing. Their elite as well, exactly the elite. They're fascinating to listen to. Yes, they've got takes. They make the show better, They're funny. You know. Hell, Rob just pop just just by being like, uh, that wasn't one second. I'm sitting putting my dog into another room today. Let's go it on. Bro might run in a different room. I don't blame him. I'm look at my dog would be too alone. I could ask you, Robert, someone in your life asked you, you're going to Philadelphia, where WrestleMania is, and you're not going to go to WrestleMania. You're just going to go to a podcast and then drive home. How would you explain why it is the TLF is uniquely positioned to be worth it in that way? Well, this is particular event, you know. I don't. I'll totally confess I don't know a lot about the comedians that are coming out. Haven't listened to all the stuff. Sure, that's right, and I may just even go into it. I'm considered just even going into a blind and just kind of enjoying it as a surprise. So that alone, I mean that kind of gives you more cared than the average wrestling really good show to say, hey, I'm going to a comedy show. Oh yeah, just for you totally, but you know I'd still fuss up, but just you know it's gonna it's gonna be so good. Like you guys and now even your you know, we've heard the live ones over the years that you've done, that you've played, and they've even grown a lot as the podcast has years and become greater and greater. So just it's there's so much material and after that first night to wrestleman, there's there's gonna be so much on the in there, so to speak, that you guys are going to be able to deal with. We all can reminisce on love it, love it very much, looking forward to it. Rob. Hopefully we deliver. I think we will. And uh, I can't wait to see you in Philly. All right, we'll see you guys there. Just keeps rolling ya knock Jesse on his heels? Didn't he taking it back by that one? That's fine? I mean, did you get the third party support you were looking for? Can I count on your vote? Do you want to you want to ask Ken if we can count on his vote? Absolutely? Wonder if Ken is so inclined to Joe Joe Kennedy passed up on him. Oh you know, he didn't pay he didn't take him as a running mate. Not Joe. It's a Joe. Uh, Robert Robert Jr. I was gonna say large, don't say Robert because he was killed, But then I said Joe. He said Joe. All right, let's see, let's see if we can drum up some more support for the former governor. All right, who is it? Hello? Hello, this is guess you the body of Ventura calling. How are you tonight? I'm good. I'm just wondering what your biggest detriment is. Well, you know I'll tell you what. Chocolate. Chocolate is my biggest detriment because I can't have it anymore. And I love Chocklin almost as much as I love Tyrell. Do you go back though? That's my only thing? I went back? Can be cat on your vote? Ken? Can I count your voter as a third party candidates? A third party citizen of the United States of America can encounter your third party vote? Yes? Because I know you yes, you're damn right. They know i'd win when when I was I'm great, I'm putting laundry away. I was literally stuff listening to the great Or Tribute episode. Oh my god, Oh wow, that's a deep cut guy. Yeah, all right, So why do you do it? Tell the people, tell people that might be only vaguely aware. Why do you do that? Because it's long and it's deep in that ass? You damn fucking right, Jesus, you're going to WrestleMania, Ken? Yeh, I'm I'm sorry your phone broke up? Could you say that again? I would buy myself, So I need voices or I'm going to go crazy and nothing like four hours four hour podcasts take sports to get me by, got it? Let me? Are you going to WrestleMania? No? I am not more proof of concept. I don't even watch w W E and honestly, I don't really like wrestling for that, damn fucking right is amazing. I mean, isn't that hard? Isn't that hard? So I'll ask you this, Ken, say there's someone in your life, Go go ahead, please. I don't. I don't watch any I d V R, A E W because I just morally can't watch w W E And I think Cmpunk is like the biggest fraud in the universe, and you know industry full of frauds. Wow, what makes him a fraud? I don't get it because because he went, he wept his ass, He went back to w W Yes, he's a joke. Exactly did he go back? Yes? Hey, I went you know what, Sam Punk went back? I went back. I went back to Vietnam. Is there a tourism board willing to pay you to do a stadium show? Maybe the WWE is she m Punk's Vietnam. I can't wait till he gets pinned clean in the middle on the first saw the greatest moment in my life. But you won't be watching, right ken your show? Yes, that's right, that's right. So let me ask you that someone in your life says, can I know you liked wrestling over the years, but you don't like wrestling anymore. Why the hell are you going to the city where WrestleMania is going to be and just going to see a podcast? How would you explain that? Well, I paid these guys like thirty bucks a month, so oh so, so okay, So in exchange for your thirty you get to go to the show for free. Oh right, No, seriously, you guys are like the best. I I you're the best wrestling podcast and entertainment podcast. There we go. I'm with that. I agree how it's so funny? Go ahead, please? I was telling people all about how much of a weirdo Peter Sellers is this weekend under the cinemat for that Patreon dollar bitch, I'm right. So yeah, man, if you're hooked a UTC, you are doing this twenty four hours a day. Yeah, pretty much. Yeah. Have you ever found yourself in position to have to explain what we are to somebody who knows that you're listening to something all the time but doesn't know why it's got such a hold on you. What do you say to them? I say that I really enjoyed and it's hilarious. My brother and I were driving back from Pittsburgh like two or three years ago, and my brother doesn't know anything about wrestling other than like stone Cold, because we used to watch the Attitude era and I forget which one it was. If some WCW show you guys were reviewing, and he was like, what the hell is this? Like, who are these people? And I was like, I don't even know where to unders where it even starts. Ah, that's that's that's what I love to hear. Let me ask you, Ken, what will you be disappointed if we do not address April seventh? The punchline? Philly? Uh, probably what the finish is and why Cody's gonna lose for a second year in a row. Wow, do you think the Rock is? Like? What do you expect from the Rock? Like, if you had to take a guess on what the headline is going to be Sunday morning as we take the stage, what do you think it'll be? Actor Dwayne Johnson pulls every muscle in his lower body. No shit, absolutely, Actor Dwayne Johnson. Oh, it's gonna be amazing. Which, speaking of which, this is as good a time as any tell you it's gonna be awesome. It's as good a time as any to let people know that. Boss Man told me that he was recording some Mama Sorrow episodes for the Mote Tear who was recording wrestle Mamia and Rock was on the screen and everybody knows Mama Sorrow's penchant for mishearing wrestler's names and spouting spitting out the most unbelievably hilarious misinterpretations of the names. You know one may remember mankind. She said, who is that? Who did they say he was Dan Cook? What did she say? What Dwayne Johnson came up by? I said, well, you know, she's she's seeing all the thing that. I said, Mom, that's the rock, you know, Dwayne Johnson? Wayne Johnson, Yes, Mom, Wayne Johnson. Right, it's like Wayne Brady, Yes, Mom, Wayne Johnson, that's Wayne Johnson. And that's what she continue to cal him for the rest of the recording. That's incredible headline. Wayne Johnson tears every muscle. I guess yeah, Wayne the Croc Johnson's a fraud, the Crock, the Crock. Oh god, Triple E's so desperate, so wishing he was out there. Yeah for sure, Oh, Paul, I'm that much more gassed to take the stage. Sunday, April seventh, noontime punchline, Philly the Bozos Biceps in Bullshit Brunch. We can't wait to see you there, man, and we hope we do you proud. I'm sure you guys absolutely will. There's no way you won't. I got asked Jack your favorite Manami Toyota mash oh oh man, there's so many. Also, what's your favorite Toyota match. I was gonna say, you know, I was buying cars and I did see a Toyota Miami the other day and I was like, oh, you know what, my woman get that it's about cyclones, suplexes, drop kicks, right, make it look like it's about it's about ocean cyclone passion. There we go. That works for me. It's about it's about getting folded in half in Origin. If you ain't bridging, you ain't wrestling in Japan. It's very simple. I mean a bad ship that's real, that's exactly. I know, WWF or whatever they say look so fake. But I gotta tell you that ship that Manami Toyota does is real. Okay, these are real fights. I gotta say the Aja Kong probably one of the Aja Kong matches, or maybe you Mukohata in the a g W Grand Prix ninety five. If I ever win the Hopper, I'm making you guys review those match's. There's a match on YouTube. But her and ahikiro Hol Jordan like opening ninety seconds is just a great disk. Yes, wow, just racing at each other at the opening bell, one of them throws a flying drop, kicks someone's side, steps it, and they scream and yell and pull hair and off the top road to the floor. Nobody has ever been more hell bent on killing themselves. There's I mean, you've seen dragons suplexes that fold someone on their head, but have you seen dragon suplexes that fold someone on their head while teenage girls are screaming at the top of their lungs. Yeah, sure, why not? I got a shout out. That discord, the last fan discord is the greatest thing in the world. Talk to those people all day. You're gonna see plenty of them in Philly, pala. I think you know that. That's that's it's the plan. I was. I was literally just on it before you guys called. Let him know. We let him know. We fist bumped you as well as everybody else. And we can't wait to see everybody in Philly. I can't wait to see you guys do You guys are the best show? That's correct? Thanks many brother. If you had more to say, say it in Philly. Pell That's my motto. If you got something to say to us, say it in Philly. Mm hmm. What do you think about my Nami Toyota boss? I don't even know. Again, I haven't seen that model yet. Do you want to do you want to do one of her shows? I guess do I I don't know. I think you'd be blown away since the best wrestling you'll ever see? Yeah, is it fake? Call has been forwarded to an automating let me do it. Oh, I was gonna do it. Leave a thing. I'm gonna do it. No, I don't want to run the risk of their name getting you know, Oh, sure they might say their name. This person says that we just called. I got a call back during the pre show for the Mania where Roman beat Undertaker, and I was too stoned and too nervous to say anything of substance. I could bet anybody. He also says making my wife and child under twenty one wander the streets of Philly for two hours while dad gets silly. I see no problem with us, the kind of things we do to focus. Yeah, that's right. That's just the way it uh, the way it ends up. What would you have done if the voicemail beaped? Oh? I probably would have said another Jesse. Hey, this is just you, the body of Ventura, just looking to have your support come November this year as a third party pressent under the United States of America. I guess he's running and I'm running away. I'm running towards punchline Philly myself. Good call. Is this the greatest Laps fan of all time? I don't know about that, but this is me. Yes, I'm here. Hi, this is just you, the body of Ventura. I'm wondering if I have your support come November for the third Party president of the United States of America. I'll tell you what we're going to make. You know what we're gonna do. First thing when I get into office, I'm going to make an executive decision that the the the the official food of the United States of America's and geladas. I'm gonna get right out of the people's business. I help you cut that. Tom he said, going to be the president of the third Party of the United States. I did hear that? The biggest competition now and he has competition with Kennedy, my god brother. I can't believe it. Second third new Terry. I'm just I don't know where people are, that's clear. I know, I know or anyone. I give a shit. It's going to be about you know, family discluded. Uh Punchline, Philly, Sunday, April seventh, noon time co Chairs take the stage. Tom has been there since day one in so many ways, a critical part of helping us pull off last year in La Just a wonderful, absolute person, having your corner in every sense of the word. Tom. I mean, let them know, man, I mean let them know if they've heard of us vaguely, or if they hear of us as we hit the ground in Philly and they looked at they look they look us up and they hear you. Why do they need to close the deal and buy a ticket and be with us noontime on April seven, Because every time that you guys have been live, you've predicted the future. And so if you're interested in figuring out what's going to happen over the next year of wrestling in the States in general, maybe in the world at large, it's not buy a ticket, go to the show, sit down, enjoy yourself, have some laughs, but also know that you're going to hear what's about to happen. So that's why you got to Wow. You really have no other choice. But to go is that our usp? Is that our unique selling point? Oh? Yeah, I think so, Yes, Yeah, I think that's right. I think that the live shows are an exploration of what's to come. You said that Cody was going to go back and he went back. You said, how you you predicted exactly how? Oh, yes, that's true, you went back. It's too well, Jesse, that I did. I did you. You know, you basically predicted how the sale was going to go down. The sale happened the next deck. I don't know what's going to happen in this show. I'm I'm I have to admit I'm a bit scared because I know that, you know, I'm ready to hear from from all the cast of characters. But it is going to be the future. That's what we're gonna hear about. We're gonna hear about what's gonna happen over the next year. And since this is such a tumultuous twenty twenty four already, I think everybody's gonna be should be going with a little bit of hesitation trumpidation, but understand that you have to be there to hear the truth. So true. Yeah, no plan is to make this available in any other way. Man, this is what we mean at this time. This is it. You got to be there live, that's it. Like that's you have to You're gonna have to see it for yourself and understand it, and that everyone in the room will have a little bit we'll have to be to be honest, you'll have a little bit of more than everyone else. It'll be a little bit further ahead. You'll be able to start the next day April eighth or whatever, a little knowing, with a little bit more knowledge than the rest of the world. That's it's a privilege. Yeah, with us the whole time in La. And like you said the morning after lapsed, Vince closed our show in La after Night two of Mania saying you will wish me well and our in my future endeavor our Emmanuel and Vince McMahon. We're all over the financial press and c NBC talking about the culmination of the sale. What was going through your mind? Having seen us in a the comedy Chateau the night before and having taken in the news the next morning, I'm pretty sure you texted us what was going through your mind. I was not surprised because I that's I'm as you guys know, very familiar with everything that you guys have ever put out, and so I am not ever any surprise when you guys predict the future or or something. I think I've been a little bit taken aback by people being like, oh, it's really hard to listen to laps of Vince now. It's like, no, no laps Vince's Vince Vince. Why are you what's wrong with you? Well, well, all we have now is the proof, right, And it's like what you were joying about him before was reality? Are you Are you saying that you're not real exactly? Yeah? No, I mean I think that that's he's I don't understand why people don't get nervous. You have to embrace the fact that, yes, you have been cheering for the guy who has owned you know, who's a I don't know, he's a sociopath, but he's kind of worse whatever, It doesn't matter, but the point being that there's nothing. I wasn't surprised, but it was wild, like how accurate everything was everything that was said at the show last year, and that was late, that was after two nights, That was you know, that was people trying to get over there et cetera, et cetera. You've gone through all that. This this is going to be you know, you're going to be right in the wheelhouse. This is a new show. Everybody's gonna be able to get there. It's very easy post up, it's brunch, it's bagels, whatever, it might be bullshit, and you know, and yeah it's bullshit, and get ready, you know, just to essentially immerse yourself in it. Just get it. It's such a the live show experience, and I really I couldn't go in twenty eighteen. It is still remains one of my big regrets. And so I'm really excited. Like you, you know, I always excited to go and see the lap Fan live. It's a different it's a different feeling. I feel like it's a different sort of vibe in the room. Like you know, you're you're about to it's just time to you know, you're got to get settled in. You got to focus. It's very important. You do have to focus. That's true. I mean, what is different about it because we're up there and we're doing it, and yeah, it feels different. I know what you mean. It feels much different preparing for this show than it does the podcast we do, although we're just doing our thing, you know, it's not it's not like we're trying to pull out of totally different books here. But there's a different sort of energy and I guess, you know, I don't want to be too high falutin about it. It's just you know, it's because it's live. But as a spectator, what's different as someone that knows us so well, there's definitely like a buzz in the room. There's an anticipation. Yeah like that. You know, you guys are really you know, as I've said to GP Mad many times, you know, the level obviously everybody can talk about the level of research, the jokes, the whole the level of performance is much much much higher than every podcast. And so to be able to deliver that live, it's a real you know, like I said, I do, I honestly, I do think the whole thing is kind of a privilege, like to go and see you guys at the top of your game ten years in being able to deliver this to you know, a select group of people who are lucky enough to be able to make it like I you know, I definitely feel for the foreign fans who you know, can't come over. So it's like, I really, you know, I think it's really just it's a really wonderful thing to be able to do. So I don't know, like if you have any interest in wrestling, but also like you obviously people have obviously interested in wrestling if they're going to be around for WrestleMania weekend, but just in general about like the level that a podcast can get to, because this has become, let's be frank, the last since you guys have been around last ten twelve years, the podcast is the dominant cultural art form. It has replaced television as a dominant cultural art form. People listen to podcasts constantly, and you guys have taken it to a level that I actually I've listened. I listened to a lot of podcasts really going back to kind of five o six, like the real early days of it. It's at a whole other level with the laps fen and so I think that you guys can deliver that live. I didn't. I knew that you could, but like even the level that it was was like even much higher, and that was that was after two nights. It was exhausting. I was around in La la Is not easy to deal with it in the best of times. I think that data people should all like people shouldn't feel like, oh, I have high expectations. How can they meet them? You guys meet them and always go above them. Yeah, because right, buss, we don't we your your expectations mean nothing to us, right like, of course, exactly, that's right. Yeah, that's right. We've spent some time saying, you know what, what what would disappoint you if we didn't cover it. We're not saying that because we were afraid of disappointing. We say that because all right, you want to throw that in the soup. Let's let's see, let's see how these ingredients work together. And we don't have exclusive dominion over the ingredients that go in. We're confident enough that we can open source that shit and still come out with something quite tasty to serve up to the solar system. But on expectations, boss, if fuck expectations like, because that's that's that's the ultimate litmus test. Right if we don't meet your expectations, you weren't worth dick in the first place. Yep, In terms of turning around and making this thing worth the time on a planet where you can't. You can't make something like the Lapsed Fan without feeling like you're going to be somehow rewarded for the effort. It just dies on the line at that, Yes, agreed, And so by blasting through and not worrying about expectations, you separate the wheat from the chaff. And Tom, I think you're here to say that's going to happen Sunday, April seventh. The punch always does it always, it always does, and it will absolutely happen on Sunday. And I really do hope that everyone you know who can come out to this, who are you know, come out see it, see if yourself there's now not just you know, there's obviously many gifts that are on. Like you know, you can win any things if you really want it, if you're there, they're like seven different things you can win now that the figures are involved as well. Yes, yes, I think it's like if that's what you're in for, fantastic, But you're going to have you know, honestly, it will be whatever wrestling you go to. I don't care what happens with media. I don't care what happens at whatever indie show. That that people prefer nowadays. This will be the best show of the weekend period. End of story. Thank you very much, Tom. Can't wait to see you in Philly. Yeah, I'll be I'll be there and I'm very excited to see the show. Right. Terrific stuff. He's a lapsed fan wrestling podcast with Jack and Jpi Soro. He's a lapsed fan wrestling podcast. I mean Bush. Just tell the people I mean this guy, like seriously, if he was our only listener, I would do the show just like I do it now. Absolutely, he's he's because he is somebody who doesn't around. That's correct. He is somebody who who realize that there's something special here and realize that there was something And here's a guy that I know has a very very full life, but obviously there was something missing. Wow, that's the reality. Yeah, we don't come for listeners who have nothing going on. No, we come for listeners who have too much going on all such that they can't scratch the itche That's we come for the uh, for the for the fans that and for the listeners that that not only just have a lot going on, but they're they're real, you know, they're they're they're people of society. They are people who who you know, work there. You know, I have not just a day to day job. We have plenty of those two and I love them. But we also have people who are uh uh uh you know in in I don't know what you want to call it, but like really really impressive careers. Yeah, the wrestling fan that actually ye know, intellectuals, lawyers, just fucking doctors. They became lapsed, right, and so is the professionals. Right. It's because they became lapsed that they were able to achieve those kinds of things. Yes, because keeping on the steadiest wrestling diet for the rest of your life does not allow you to become the kind of listener that's worth doing a podcast for exactly. Yeah, Hello, this justin? It is it is? How's it going? Is it? This is Jack? And is it time to go live? Justin? Are we on the cusp of punchline? Philly? Is I think it's time to go? Is your time to have a wrestler in the White House? My god? Well, if Jess is here, then you know it's time to go live. Otherwise you'd be sleeping in a studio somewhere in the back tell the people. Justin, I've been asking everybody this question, why you need to be there on April seventh? Why did you buy the ticket? Listen? I mean, it's the only place you can go where you can get humor about you know, Fritz Vawn, Eric Chase and haul Cogan around Texas Stadium, or you can get hul Cogan in his Tampa mansion flashing the projector's screen on his ceiling for Eric to see the creative control clause. I mean, there's just nowhere else you're going to hear that, So you know, if I mean that, that kind of humor pops me more than anything. And this is really the only podcast I've ever listened to where you can really get that. Wow, I love that's spectacular. Are you going to wrestle Ania Justin? I am, I am. I'm going to the first night. I want to see the Rock. But to be honest with you, I'm kind of not really watching the current the current product. I haven't seen Raw or SmackDown like a year. I have no idea what's going on. But you know, it'll be nice to see the Rock. I live nearby and uh yeah, ILL get to see you guys should be cool because I have a longtime listener. What luck do you win? As far as going to Mania? I mean, I assume you were going to Mania and then you decided to come to our show. Is that how it went? That's how it went? Yeah. So I saw it was in Philly, which is nearby live in Baltimore, and I went to thirty four maybe a MetLife. So I'm just a longtime fan and I thought it'd be cool to be there, and you know, since it was close and can kind of just drive up. So I was like, all right, I'll go. And then I heard about the Punchline Philly thing on your podcast and I was like, wow, I've been listening to these guys, you know, for probably five or six years, and they're going to be like right down the street. Oh yeah, I should just go. So I got the ticket. Are you walked in now? Straight? Now? Dude? Yeah? There's absolutely no charting back Ken Ken confirm, Are you excited or at all nervous about the rock? Like, I don't know what to expect. He's been doing some incredible stuff on TV, but he's going to try to wrestle and I don't know. I felt like he wasn't even comfortable taking two steps in the rain in Chicago when he was beating up Cody in the back there at his loafers. I don't know, man, are we overdoing this whole thing that it could be a disaster or what are you expecting? I just don't even think it matters. I think he you know, he's juiced up on pds, he looks great. You know, everyone's gonna pop for anything. He'll pop for him, like taking a step. So I don't think it really matters what he does. But you know, he's probably got like fifty million dollars of trainers and steroids right now, So I'm sure he'll come out and put out like a three minute you know. It's a tag T match, I believe. So when he gets in there, he'll, you know, he'll hit the rock bottom and stuff and everyone will go home happy. That's tremendous. That's tremendous. Do you think, I don't know. Do you do you think that when we take the stage on Sunday afternoon that we will have been buzzing at the super successful execution of what they set out to do. One Night One, Because we love Night One. Last year. I mean we weren't y, yeah, but but last year we the stage after night too, and that was a much different mood after Cody failed that all of a sudden, all the good had been washed over. What do you think on Sunday, what's the mood gonna be. I think the mood's gonna be good. I think there definitely from what I understand, it's like a stipulation right for the tag team match, and I think that's the main event. That's like a stipulation for the next night. So you know, with Vince that with Vince like going downtown, Triple H making the calls, I think it's gonna be fan service. I think you're gonna get what you want. I think Cody's can get the title on Sunday, and I think you're gonna set it up on Saturday. So I think it's gonna be a lot of fan service, hopefully on Saturday Night. And I think, you know, it'll probably be a good show. I don't even know some of the matches on it. I don't know. It's like Grandy Ordan, that'd be nice to see. I've seen him a few times. He on Night one. I don't even know. I don't know if he's on night a l triple threat match Ken and Logan Paul Oh, okay, okay, I don't Yeah, I'm looking forward to I think it'll I think they'll put on a good show. Yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure. Yeah, I agree with that. I agree. I think the takeaway the takeaway emotion is what's the question mark? But what they're going to put on a good show. I don't think it is much of a question. Yeah. I don't think that they've ever not enjoyed a WrestleMania even when they're like nine hours I met life. There have been some there have been some that have really tested my patients, including that one. But I do take your point. Well, finally, justin before you let you go, we've been putting this question to everybody. If there's somebody that has kind of heard of us or hears about us in Philly that weekend and is on the fence and ends up hearing what you're about to say, why would you say it's worth buying the ticket for April seven? Well, man, I mean, just you know, the number one thing I would say it is just such a draw is I mean, if you're really a fan of old school wrestling. If you're a Laughs wrestling fan, a laughs Wrestling podcast, this is an opportunity, an opportunity to be surrounded by like minded people. And that's you know, there really aren't a lot of opportunities you're going to have ye to do that. I really don't think there's almost any other venue where if you're you know, you're laughing at Jesse fall asleep in the back and uh, you know you're going the just impression, you're just there's not many other people who are going to get that humor. And this is an opportunity to be surrounded by these people. That's a wonderful love point, loved one not many have made. And yeah, that's that's life is a wrestling fan, right, trying to find kindred spirits, people who you can you know, respect and and and share your wrestling fandom with. And and we came along and said, hey, we can be the nexus. You know, we can connect you guys. You know, we can be sort of the litmus test of the kind of wrestling fan you're looking to link up with. If they like the cast, if they get the cast, pretty good chance that you're going to enjoy their company in real life, and I think justin that's going to be an on full display. April seventh. Yeah, yeah, no, totally, I totally agree with you, guys. That's excellent. Well man, it's great to meet you. Thank you for the support, and can't wait to see in Philly. All right, fellas, yep, see you Saturday, rocking and roll on yeah, play Sunday. Yeah, well you can go Saturday, but we won't be there. Yeah yeah. Brother. All right, guys, thank you, all right, thank you get it again. Brother. So right, look, you don't have to hate w tw you'd have to hate wrestling you but we're calling. We're have a great time. Yeah. Yeah. It's like you can still enjoy yourself and acknowledge that you're going to feel empty without that extra sauce we put on it. You know. Yeah, you'll still be you'll still be left feeling somewhat hollow without that that that dress. Oh it's going to happen. You're going to feel You're going to feel hollow. You think that's it, that's a definite. I mean, last year it turned out to be the perfect call. But I don't know, I I I'm not convinced. I'm not convinced. What was that? I'm not convinced that we're going to be It's going to be a happy ending. Hello, brother, what's up? Brother brother? It's time, brother brother? What weeks here? It sure is? How are you are? You? Are you out of your mind? Or you'd about WrestleMania? Guys? Are you so ready to go? That? It sure is? Was really fucking that really got me? That was good ship pal. Yeah, Yeah, it's gonna be our pleasure, It's gonna be our honor. This is Gabe you know him from the Whole Ballgame podcast. Were privileged to share. Yeah, one of the great listeners, great supporters, great Solar System members over the decade. And uh we were proud to bring you a sampling of their Whole Ballgame podcast, which is a lapsed fan approach to the game of baseball. Opening Day is underway. Uh so do check them out. And Gabe, we can't wait to see in Philly. Uh. You know, if someone hears about us in Philly and isn't quite sure if they're going to go, what do you say to him? What do you say to him? How do you close the deal? Well, you're in sale, You're in sales. I am. It's what I do, do it every day. Uh, this is what I say, I say, And what it comes down to, I think is the feeling. That's all you know. You're not you're not selling. You're not selling the steak. You're selling the sizzle, right, you're selling the way that the steak makes you feel. And and for ten years, and this is going to take an awkward emotional turn, I have felt less alone. Hey, all right, wait till you in Punchline Philly and you meet this. Well, look, I'm going to be very very frank with you boys. Look, we're all still wrestling fans, so I'm dreading being there. Of course, of course it's not easy. Like I mean, if we're being intellectually honest with ourselves, we all know ourselves is the worst company possible. And so a room full of me to problem. So you know, it's fine, it's fine, don't get me wrong. It's fine. It's gonna be great. It's fine because you know we'll probably be drinking something. I'm certain I'll have eaten my weight in in Tommy de Nick's roast pork sandwiches. Two of you, if the two of you have not had one, it is the best sandwich in America. Really, you have to make sure, without question. Really it's a threading terminal market right downtown UH. And it's essentially it's it's just it's you think about like an Italian beef in Chicago. It's it's sliced that thin, and the pork is roast, and it's got a sharp provolone and broccoli rob and it's hands down the best sandwich in America. I would you win every single day if I could. Boss thoughts, I'm sorry, what I was we going? I was? I was, I was totally yeah, we'll have we'll add that to the with our cheese steaks. Googling frantically. Yes, absolutely, it's Tommy the next t O M M YD So everybody else listening to do do google that. It's it's an absolute delight. Anyway. It's about the feeling, is what it comes down to you. It's about knowing that you're not alone, knowing that your dementia is part of this immense group think exists whether you believe it or not. And and these two gentlemen are the ones that are giving voice to that group think writ large and are unafraid to fuck up other people's brains by explaining to them just how fucked up they are and then have them turn around and agree with them. It's it's just it's what happens. Stop them, money's lying, Stop him when he's lying in particular podcast, a particular podcast. What's the difference? What what? What else? What's what's the vibe shift? You're lying? Oh yeah, no, it's Star cast. That's right. So the first Star asked you guys were essentially talking about how while, by the way, the motherfucker was right behind a set of glass door smoking cuitars. Oh yes, you were explaining just how Cody was going to end up backworking for Evince at some point, whether he likes it or not, I believe was thrown out there into one turn of phrase or another. It's a look what you take from the podcast, what you take from what you hear every week? You turn that shit up to sixty seven when the nyle only goes to ten, and this is what you get. I mean the I remember and this was God last time I saw you guys live doing this was I saw you in the lobby at Starcas two, but or Starcaster whenever the fucking the stage show though. The last time I said was was the first Stark cast and that's god damn, that's what six or seven years ago. That's accept But you're right, oh yeah, and so you know, the following wasn't quite as much as heavy as it is now. And they were like, there are people like straggling in, like what is what are we going to watch? Yes, and my favorite part and I'm certain that your favorite part was like you know, there were probably sixty or seventy seats filled in there, and by the time it was all over, there were like fourteen of us left. Yes, and it was awesome. Yes, it was. It was just like, yeah, because your you motherfuckers are afraid to accept the reality. I think so, and it made you too uncomfortable. Well, he's afraid or you know, they're just they don't have any reason to face that reality. I worked I'm no, no, no, I'm with the fear. I think it's fear. I think they they want to think. They want to think that they have some sense of control and that they have some sense of insight as to as to the fact that they think that that that that these wrestling clowns want to please them. They don't want to please them. Oh, yes, correct, I don't want to please that, And they don't want to be told that you're there to entertain them, because because you're a clown, make me an animal, make me a I'm a I'm a listen, listen. The the as a wrestling fan, the sooner you accept the fact that you are the bitch in this relationship, the easier you can stomach everything. Yeah, yeah, well see me. You don't see me fucking ranting and raving about about you know everyone's talking about, oh with last year wrestlingating Cody and Cody losing to Roman reigns. Uh No, No, I knew in the deepest part part of my heart that that was what we deserved as wrestling fans, and it is always what we deserve as wrestling fans, because because the thing is this, you're still going to come back in some way or another. Of course, we we absolutely love pain. Yes, We've talked about this for ten years, guys, that's all we know. Yes. And the sooner yes, the sooner you you you embrace that, Yes, the sooner you you you You're enlightened. This is true, And I'm going to say this out loud and I don't think I've ever said this out loud before. The fact is is that not only do I feel us alone, but the level of acceptance of my own self loathing over the past ten has led to a better quality of life. How is that? How is that possible? How is it? It's because you finally understand that it does it's it doesn't matter, right, Like you're you're this guy, you're this person. You are a wrestling fan, yes, right, and that immediately makes you the worst thing in the room. Yes, and and that's okay, it's fine, right, because it's it's just it is right, Like there's just an acceptance that washes over you, and then you stop trying to overcompensate for being a wrestling fan. You just are yes, and it's okay, you know, and and you know what, so is everyone else's behavior. It's why I'll be able to handle being in the room for two and a half hours or however the fuck long we are there. It's because you know, it's it's fine. These people they're they're like me. They feel the same if if they have a even an ounce of uh understanding of themselves uh self concept, they they know that I am them, and he is me, and we are we, and we are all together, and I am the walwort some ship. Boy. That's more going on in the crowd at Punchline, Philly, Sunday, April seventh than even I could have anticipated. But thanks to Gabe, it's been laid bare. A lot going on there, Gabe. But I made it a point to stop you when you were lying, and you noticed I didn't stop you. You didn't stop me, and nor nor will you. I'm looking very forward to seeing you, gentlemen. Uh to sharing uh some We're gonna have some what's it called? What does he call it? Some fellowship on Sunday. Let's have some fellowship, boys. That sounds like find Thanks Gabe, We'll see it, buddy, see you soon, Oh fellowship, I'll need some fellowship. Oh sounds like Grizzly Smith knocking on the door. Oh my god, just an hour past bedtime. That's your damn right, God help us always is? What are we about to do? Bush? I think those images of Philly on fire are pretty apropos. Oh. Absolutely. The place is never going to be the same again. Brother brother, what what do you? Who are you? How did you call? Why are you call him? Dude? What what you dude? Did you talk to him? Brother? Why did you bring up Haiti? Kid? Dude? Where are you atro? What are you some kind of porto prints now? Dude? I mean, what are you? Hey? Hey, hey, We're just trying to dial this thing in here, dude. Blake, the other half of the Whole Ballgame podcast, talked to Gabe. You've got some big shoes to fill here, Blake, but step up. The question is the question is if someone hears about us, it just kind of gets a rough sense of what we're about and knows we're going to be a punchline. Philly Sunny. Yes, what would you tell them as to why they've got to be there at the end of the day? Why do they have to be there? If if they know you or don't know you, if they become vaguely acquainted with us, I mean, you know, I'm not really you know? Sure, no, I think you know roughly The answer would probably be the same, just more fine tune for the refined individuals. But I would I would say you want to be there first of all, because it's a happening. Yes, they will be hanging. It will be hanging. From the rafters. Yes, I have. I can confirm that the venue does have rafters and we have uh we can, we we have people will be allowed to hang, who will be hanging exactly? Ye has ray trailer going to be there? It is Philly right. Oh can you imagine what he dropped out of the ceiling. But no, I think you know, I think that that the s r O signs are going up early. I believe if I'm hearing correctly, they're going out early that afternoon. So basically, you want to be there because if you're not, you're a fucking bitch. You somebody said it, I've heard this, mm hmmm, yeah, it's it's simple. It comes down to are you a bitch or you're not a bitch, And if you're not a bitch, you're gonna be there because I'm I'm coming from halfway across the country. I'm no fucking bitch, all right. Hmm, Well, I think I think no one can question on that front. Having you know, made that commitment. Are you going to Mania? Oh? Yeah, yeah, Gabe, and I'll be there. We'll be there. So you sound thrilled? Uh you know? He he pulled a fast did he talk about that. He didn't tell you what he did to me? Okay, well no, yeah, no, we'll be there. I'll be there with my American nightmare coming true Philadelphia. Damn right, unbelievable. So what what do you think if we didn't do would disappoint you? What if? What will you not touch on where it's like, well they should have Well, let's do in Philadelphia. I would like to see a proper tribute paid to Dick Graham and Cal Redmonds. I would be very disappointed if I didn't get that, coming all the way from Kansas. To be quite honest with you, Yeah, I've been trying to convince Jack to do that. It doesn't have to be it doesn't have to be anything major. It could be something simple. Just you know, we can go out to the graveyard around midnight the night before so and exhum the corpse and we'll get him the punchline, set them up in the corner and I'll get behind him and I'll go The ladies are here, Okay, and oh god, Dick Graham got reanimated to the LATS fan show. Here lies two of the most normal Phillies sports broadcasters. For absolutely right, it isn't that the take home most normal humans. How about it? These guys are normal people at the Philadelphia people, I think, and and I'm here basically due to their wrestling connection. Talking about getting you guys out there to help exhume them from their grades, their final resting places, to do a fucking bit with them on stage. So all right, yeah, life's funny that way, am I right? Did he just say he'd be disappointed if we don't exhum Cal Rudman and Dick Ram Uh? Yeah, yeah, and I and I agree exs earlier. Yeah, right, I'll be there. I'm I got a set of willing hands. I went to Dallas and Canning hands. Guys, how can we confirm that the hands are actually willing? I'm just curious. Well, they're educated, a right, so I do appreciate educated hands. My right hand went to school with rb D and my left one did two years of Jerry Flynn Gay was talking about this delicious sounding pork sandwich and philiated. He said, there's broccoli Robin, and I'm thinking it's Philly. It's broccoli Rob van Dam. Is that what we have? It's what do you want to talk about? To talk about? RV Diesel dude, what's going on? Bro? What is the one Eric story? Because I've seen video, we've actually, you know, you did that wonderful montage that we posted on Generary first of this year. It included your your video taking at the graveside of the vine Erics. I know when we did the lamentable tragedy, it hit you deeply and you happen to be in Dallas and what did you make sure to do? Yeah? So, yeah, we were down there visiting some family and I took my at the time four year old son and we loaded up and drove past the Cotton Bowl. I'll have you know that the graveyard is over by the cotton Bowl should be. And I said, we're gonna We're gonna go see something. And I just I told him these guys were wrestlers and they were huge down here, and I, you know, give him a little as much as he needs to know about it. And then he watched his father saying Heaven needed a champion at the foot of uh David von oh A couple of bars. I didn't do the whole thing, but not a holy shit, all right, Well, that was fucking money and we are very very excited privileged. In fact, it going to be with us because you know one of those names, Blake. If the box isn't checked, it's like, yeah, well Blake wasn't there. It was great, but Blake wasn't there. So this is going to be exciting. Man. I'll be there ready to bomp, bump, bump and Blake. We ran a new Blake at star Cast two and he got he hooked up with Nash later and tell the people really quickly the kind of thing you might be into if you run into Kevin Nash before punchline Philly. Oh yeah, Well, if you see big keV out there, make sure you gets your TA teeth on you, because he will if you ask him if he would like to get down and party, He's gonna tell you. It's got me tell you I'm down to Park. But you know I'm not just partying for ships. You know, I need the fucking real ship going on. About ten grams. Yeah, you know I need at least ten ten and fifteen grams. That's the tea and we can get some ship going on. You know, keV can't be any ended because Park Park hit me with some of that. We were just sitting there and I was like, fuck. I was like ship, Like what the fuck? Like Pac fucking he just he just takes the ship on, you know, and I'm like, what the fuck, dude? You know ship horse Mouth. I got him the night before. Oh my God, always gets him the night before. Well, ten grams for Kevin Nash, Dick Graham for US Punchline Philly coming on Sunday. Blake can't wait to see their pal golden grams in my bowl. I didn't see there, We'll see. It's la fan wrestling podcast with Jack and car and Jpso it's a lapsed fan wrestling podcast. Just the thought of all the stupid I know, stupid, what do you want to say? I do? But guess what, still still gotta pop. So there just the thought of all these wins getting on planes on you know, it's like the whole it's like there's a mobilization happening out. Yes, yes, the people are mobilizing. Oh it's fucking brilliant. This is a tricky one. We're calling far far away. I don't know if this is gonna work. This is Dicky and this is Jack and JP. What's up, Pal? What's going on? Going on? Comes? I mean, yeah, a couple of you are speaking with the MVP of the lapsed Fance Bozos Biceps in Bullshit Brunch. You are speaking with the gentleman who will be traveling Furthest from down Under. As I understand, did he tell the people this is so cool? Man? I feel like that slightly overweight woman at WrestleMania seventeen that was interviewed by coach. She was the she traveled the Furthest to go to WrestleMania, and you know it's funny because my trip to Philadelphia is only twenty two hours from God. She said she traveled to Austin, Texas from Brisbane for thirty hours. So I'm not going to pick with this woman because I think I swear wwe told her ahead of time. Hey hey, you know, twenty hours doesn't sound as good as thirty hours, So how about you say it's thirty hours because unless the planes, you know, went a lot slower back then, I think she's full of shit. Wow wow, well put them yeah, I put them on blast. But fuck right, you're the work of the miles in twenty hours? Is that the plant? Yeah? Twenty two? You know it's forteen hours to LA and then there for a while, spend two hours going through TSA and then fucking you know, five hours to Philly and just just to just to spend four days they're doing, doing some dumb shit and then heading back home again. Oh my god, Hey, Monning the miles right there, living proof. I don't know if you've heard the rumors, Boss, but our Palericky is bringing a very esteemed guest to punchline Philly, Jim Barnett Brandon from New Jersey. Bull shit. I won't believe until I see it, Dick, It's true. I'm bringing two very esteem guests. One is a wrest wrestling Mommere tier level guests in in Scott Michael Farry, which I'm sure, yeah, yeah, and then the other one is is Brandon from New Jersey. And I'm literally only doing it so I can ask you. You know, during the during the Lamentable Tragedy Journey, you know, there was a challenge laid down and I don't know what happened. Wasn't someone going to be wrestling Brandon from New Jersey? That what happened? That was supposed to happen, but the guy never showed up. He's a fucking coward. That doesn't sound like the Brandon I know. Well, hey, I I'm ready listen. I don't again, I don't believe he I don't believe he's going to show up. I don't believe he's going to show up. I I'll tell you what, you know, if he's there, I'll fucking wrestle him right there in uh in a brunchline, Philly, and I'll fucking take him down. And which part of the show is that? Is that the bozo part or the bullshit part. It's the bozo part for me, and it's the bullshit part from him. I'll say that. Look, but you know, you guys, you guys want to know why why I'm coming over. You know those two guys play play a big part of it. During during the pandemic, you know, all of us had no chance but to kind of connect with people from all ways around the world. You know, we couldn't go anywhere or do anything. And sure, you know, I started started chatting with people from a you know, completely different wrestling community, and you know, made made a ship ton of friends and and you know, after a while, you'd be speaking with some of these people and they'd say something that that may have been you know, lifted from your podcast. Sure, and then you'd think to yourself, you'd think, huhm. And just like just like JP said to Jack when he walked into his dorm room and saw that cartridge of No Mercy, but slightly changed this time, you say to them, you say to them, you elapsed. Dowd's right, They're like, yeah, yeah. So you know, I'm obviously going over there to spend time with a lot of people from that community, but there are you know, a couple that that are ogs, you know, like myself. It's been almost ten years for me as well, and you know, we we got to do it. You know, we got a pay tribute to something that's been such a huge part of my life. I mean, you know, it was WrestleMania seventeen, speaking of which, you know, ironically, there was the first episode that I listened to back when a five hour podcast was incredibly long. And you know, since then, I've got so many memories, you know, one of which is like coming down on a bad trip of acids. I'm having to listen to you guys talk for thirty six hours straight, otherwise I'll jump out of a four story building. Then there's you know, having surgery and having to sit in a hospital for a week, you know, listening to you guys talk about how you would book the nWo you know, and then there's even as recent as the TNH journey, which you know started at one point and then by the time it ended, I had a son. You know. Wow. You know, it's these things that you never forget. So in honesty, like I'm going over to hang out with my friends, go to some shows, you know, go see the mains as as you say, but the real main events, you know, will be this show. Because you guys have been there for me, so I'm going to be there for you. And I'm going to bring Brandon from New Jersey with me. I don't know if that's a good thing or not for you guys, but oh, it's a wonderful thing. You I mean, I have been bullshitting with Brandon from New Jersey longer than the Lapsed Fan has existed. Think about it. I mean, he was one of the first people I ever tried to pop on a live podcast like try to Pop JP and like JP drest to put Me Radio days. I mean, every like three times a week I talked to this kid and just say say an mm A fighter's name and just listen to him lose his mind laughing. All I said was Akira shog That's all I said. I don't even know what that is, right, So I can't wait to see the guy. I hope he comes to it. This is the way it has to be, Dicky. He will because I paid for the ticket. Listen, dude, I'm I'm I understand that that's what you think is going to happen. I'm not convinced, all right, I can I understand. Listen, Listen, listen. Okay, when I was doing Renaissance Rumble, when he was supposed to come down and do that thing with me, he he posted a video I remember this of him driving he never showed. Posted video of like someone getting behind the wheel and like him, like behind the wheel of a car and like driving on. He never showed. So listen again again. When he's there in the building, I'm going to tell you right now, I will not be surprised one bit. And I'm betting ninety I'm saying ninety percent chance here that the day of he finds an excuse not to come. I don't know, man, I'm with Dickie. I'm not I have this experience. I will I will say this. I'm in Colon and columb with both of these things, I both. I have both. I have both confidence that he'll be there and also confidence that he Yeah, yeah, Brandon, we need to see a man. You need to be there. You're part of the spirit of the whole thing. He wore a section eleven E shirt front row at a w and listen, I've seen it and that I was on that tweeted that out. There's no there's no denying. Okay, there's no denying that he that he is a supporter. I listen, I love Brandon, but I want to tell you, I don't. I don't know. I don't. I'm not convinced he's gonna show tremendous, tremendous. Well, that's you. Your your question is intense, intense, intens What I'm testing his uh, his integrity, his intelligence, his uh uh uh in whatever the fuck house? Brother? What? Brother? What? Why did you trip on that word? What do you? What do you y? What? Huh? Where are we? Is there a reason say they say the terry funk? Where are we? Well? We could you know, look, we we can talk as much about that as as we talked about that to the Cows come Home. But it's even more important is that Dickie is getting on a plane from Australia and he is making a it a point to make us part of his WrestleMania weekend experience. In fact, because he's already predicted the highlight of his WrestleMania Weekend experience. Dickie, we want to thank you profusely for the vote of confidence and we can't wait to see you in the city of brotherly love. No, thank you, brother. That's right. Brother. Just keeps getting better. Oh it does, just keeps getting more intriguing, more electric. I'm again, I'm still not. I won't believe it. Notley's there, Munchala's ass is in the fucking seat. We put asses in seats. You're damn right. What do you think? Uh? What are what are we bringing this time? You know you did the show last year. We did the show last Yes, you had a mindset, you came through it and for them was brilliant. Yes, how are you coming into this one? Does it feel any differently than it did a few days out from l A Oh god, yeah, it feels a lot different. It's it's it's it's uh, it's I feel much more. I feel calm, yes, you know, whereas the last time I was as as I've said, I was horrified leading up to it, and I was I was feeling absolute pain and suffering and was unsure as to what was going to happen, because, like I said, I've got I've got a fear of putting myself out there. And but this time I feel I feel different. I feel much better. I feel confident. From last year. I mean, I'm sure the day of there will be nerves. It has to be. Yeah, if you mean business, absolutely, you know, because I do want to you know, I always want to put on something great and something memorable and something fun and you know, uh, but I definitely feel a lot different. I don't. There was death. I mean this this far out. Last year I was when I really thought about it, I was like, oh fuck, what are we doing right? Are we doing this right? I don't. I don't feel the suffering as much I'm saying I won't. It's a beautiful thing. But you know, you know, it's there's still plenty. It's reality. It is it's it is reality and it's it's uh, you know, it's a continuing space of dynamic integrities and desires and and other things of that nature. Dynamic integrities. Please leave your message for brother. Brother. It's okay, we understand. It's yea do we Yes. It's not convenient for everybody, but we said we'd call him and calling them, and I feel I feel good about that. Hello, Hello, Scott, you got to be there man Punchline Philly, and you're going to be there. We're excited. We're excited. Uh yeah, no, I'm I'm very excited as well. I mean I booked this WrestleMania trip back in like November like an idiot, but like an idiot, Yes, a lot of some costs early on, there thousands, thousands of dollars already in the camp. But so so when this event got announced, it was like, well, you know, what the fuck at this point? With another one hundred bucks exactly, yeah, exactly. And if I'm doing the full WrestleMania weekend for the first time ever, I have to also take in the TLF show. So Scott is a rock solid member of the Solar system. He was there when we did that big Time get together at the td Garden for the Survivor series a couple of years ago. Oh yeah, he's been he he. You came up to us in the parking lot in Dallas, was it? I remember this? Oh? That was thirty five in Yeah, I had just driven down the day of. That's what. That's all I've done for WrestleMania is twenty nine to thirty five. I drove down the Sunday morning of from Boston when I was living in Boston still and did the show. But yeah, walk up to you guys. That's how we first met in person. And then obviously, yeah, that's Survivor series show. That was a good time. I had a good time. I don't think I even need an alcohol to have a good time that event. Yeah, kept it pretty clean. So tell the people, if you know, you've got the pipes, you know how to deliver a message. If people have only vaguely heard about us, or hear about us in Philly that weekend, what would you say about why they need to convert, Why do they need to be there? What? What? What is the reason to buy a ticket to the show, The reason to buy a ticket to what is it? The bush Bolsheviks Bolsheviks and backers. Bullshit brunch, right. The reason that you need to be there is because you're going to be You're going to be offended. Yes, you might, you might cry, you might, you might shick yourself from laughter. Basically, you'll you'll you'll deal with every emotion possible. You know, they'll be paining, you might walk out. You might actually walk out at one point because I'm guessing that someone's going to be there and is going to say some things that are going to be towing a line. Just kind of guessing. That's my That's that's how I sell it to somebody. If you just want to feel every emotion possible, you got to come to the show and then you're never going to be the same again. That's that's my that's my feeling. I agree with that. Wow, So what are you thinking on Mania this year? Rock coming in? Do you think when we take the stage Sunday afternoon we're going to be dealing with people like what the fuck was that? Or will we be riding a high? I think, man, it's it's a tough thing because I think with the Rock they're setting something up that's going to happen on Sunday night, Whether it's he's going to stop the bloodline from interfering, allowing Code to win, or if he's just going to you know, get in the ring himself and do and do something. I think Saturday Night is going to end with with Roman and Rock winning, leaving us all the questions of you know, what's going to happen Sunday. I think we'll. I think we'll be on a high because I think with the two night format, even if Saturday doesn't go as like, you know, amazing as you might want it to, oh well, there's still one more night, so all the really awesome stuff's gonna happen on on Sunday. So is that what you keep telling yourself? Well, that's what I will tell myself. Okay, it's Saturday. Saturday is not Saturday is not enjoyable. But I think I'll have a good time. I've I've I've paid. I'm paying an exorbitant amount of money for pretty good seats. Oh nice, and it's probably better better seats than we got. We didn't really go whole hog on the cost. This time. We're back where we belong, right boss? Oh absolutely, up as high as you can be where where you know where the threat looms that you know, we will be destroyed by Pyro. Yeah, that's but that's also where like you can do your little running commentary, though I feel like it wouldn't work as well if you are like ringside. Oh it never does. It never works as well. That when you're the lower the the lower to the ground, you are the less effective we can be because there's always these uh, these people thinking that you know, what they're watching is actually entertaining. Yeah, exactly exactly, it's just so much louder too. Yeah. I just hope I'm not. I just hope I'm not blocked out by one of those fucking pillars that they set up. You can't guarantee that. I mean, you don't know that already if you're going to have that seats, the seats don't say they don't obstructive view, but they also they were purchased in November, right, Ye, so how would they know. So they may be they may they may purposely obstruct your view because of this, They could obstruct the view and then but I've heard in the past that if you end up in a seat that has an obstructive view, they do move people. But I'm just hoping that won't be okay, you know, it's it just it seems like that's the one thing I'm worried about. But other than that, I'm looking forward. Actually, no, that's not the only thing I'm worried about. I'm flying in on a Boeing Max eight, So if I could change the flight to you know, a different plane, and then I'm like, you know, if I'm going to go down, it might as well be on the way to wrestle media. He died doing tremendous better. Yeah, And as the plane crashed down, I thought, well, at least Cody won with the Crossroads. Yeah, if I'm on exactly, at least if it's on the Monday. On the way back, I can be like, well, you know, hopefully Cody won. I probably listened to TLF on the way down. Yeah, I appreciate that. Well, again, you're one of those boxes that has to be checked. If it's going to be a full body TLF Solar System experience, we got to have somebody that's a long term, as you in attendance. So this is gonna be great and I'm looking to I'm looking forward to seeing Big Steve. I know you've already talked to him probably oh yeah, yes, yes. The big reason why I'm looking forward to seeing him is that, as far as I know, his wife is going to be with him so she can take care of him. Because I went to SummerSlam with Big Steve and he was he was unchained. You saw picture, Yeah, he was in la oh yeah. But I mean but at SummerSlam without his wife, I felt like I had to be the one to take care of Wow. Wow. Now when I now, when I see him on the on on the weekend, I can you know, we can just go fall to the wall. I don't have to worry about the thing. You guys gonna go to the Jeff Hardy show? Are you please? Don't tell me? Please don't tell me there isn't actually Jeff concert? Yes? What do you mean? Come on? Really there is? Can you tell people anything about a Jeff Hardy concert? Scott, Well, first of all, the venue in Detroit was a fucking I'm It was right after a g c W show and we didn't get in until after midnight, and it just I mean, you walked in and you got you got hit with like the biggest wall of sweat ship smell and we sat as we and then the three the three of us that when we sat as far away as you possibly could, even though there were seats closer, like down in the pit area and the ring was still set up, we sat as far away as possible because we knew we wanted to make comments and stuff obviously, and you know, joke about what was happening. And you know, some woman comes up and says, hey, you can come down and sit in the ring and be closer to the show, or like I don't, we don't want hepatitis or we're good. But I will say I did pop when he did do his to the theme music, the you know, the Dog Days to the Top music, he did that, He did that, which is I actually I popped. Actually I reacted to that Other than that was fucking awful. So I guess we'll see you there. I'm actually upset. I'm upset that you brought that is That's why I did it. Well, we're gonna be privileged to see you punchline Philly on Sunday. Scott. This is always for the support and uh looking forward to it, man, Yeah, looking forward to it. It would be should be a should be a rocking good time. Absolutely, all right, we'll see you there. Continue rocking and Roland. Yeah, he went with some other Solar System members to the Jeff Hardy Show and was telling us all about telling me all about it, and it's like, oh my god, just another you want to go? No, I mean part of me does what you know, don't do that again? No, I know, but you tickets right now. Part of me does in that same kind of undertaker fashion, but I don't. I don't think it's a good idea. Hello is this Rich? Yeah, it's time for the coaching. Yeah, to ask you a question? Rich. Oh, I'm fucking ready. Let's go. All right, all right, you have before you somebody that says, hey, have you heard about this lapsed fan thing going on Sunday at lunch line? What do you say back to him? You know about the fake ship going on this weekend? Yes, yeah, you'd be surprised. You think it's it's real popular, it's all over the city. But you tell people, yeah, I'm hyped for WrestleMania. They're like, they're like, where's that? At two nights sold out? They're like, oh, Coldstone, yes, Coldstone there. I was like, no, Coldstone's down the street. You can get one right there? Get you is right? Is it like J. H. Richardson's that does the vending of the ice cream at the link? Why would Coldstone? I don't even understand what so, So you're a Philly boy tell us? Yeah? Yeah, oh uh Philly proper or I lost you for a second. No, I live in South Jersey. I lived like twenty minutes outside of Jersey, outside of Philly, in South Jersey, right, okay, So yeah, and I went to the La Uh Comedy Chateau last year. Yeah, Jay Briscoe reincarnated was there? Remember thatcarnate? Who's there? I said to you, I said, this guy looks like paper. I thought Jay Briscow was dead. It was a guy that looked exactly like Oh no, ship right now. I have no recollection of that. Yeah yeah, yeah in the lobby. Yeah, you never know who's going to show up. Oh man, So did you go to Mania last year? Yeah? I went to Mania. Left as soon as uh the the bell rang, just so you get there, and like was like the fucking first person there at the show, thinking I was gonna miss it if I didn't get there at the time. I fucking love it. Would you beat us there? That's probably so? All right? Great? So, so you know what it's like to take this in. What would you say to listeners of the podcast is to what more does it do to see it live? Like? What's the difference? Is there a difference? Yeah? You got to see it live? Because I mean, if you're a fan of the show of the Lapse fan, like, how could you not want to see it? Like even before you guys started contemplating these live shows, you had to think, oh, you got to see this live? Or what if they did it live? Right? You know? So why would you miss the fucking opportunity? And what else are you going to do on Sunday? That's that's really the key, isn't agree? I mean, we're you gonna go to some fucking stupid indie show or something. I mean, yeah, if you're a loser, yeah for real. So I mean it'll be great, you know, I mean, there's no you guys have no shortage of material for this year? What do you mean? What do you mean by that? But what do you think i'd mean? I just I want to ask you. I'm curious what you all of a sudden but well last year, uh it was just the tip of the iceberg with the Vince stuff, like joking around with some endeavor stuff, was talking about Russo the sure. So yeah, we've had the head of him and everything. That's right. Yeah, So this year, I mean there's no shortage of of Vince jokes. And I mean I'm hyped. I can't wait. I mean, honestly, if you're listening to this and you're not going like, what the fuck is wrong with you? So? Where do we need? Where do we need to eat in Philly? Uh? Where do you need to eat? Angelo's Angelo's pizza knife and fitz water that pizza. They have good cheese steaks. You have you have to I mean it'll probably be fucking packed. Yeah yeah, yeah, so that's what I would suggest. And are you guys going to the Suplex block party? Yes? Okay, yeah they're there's gonna be some vendors there. Yeah. Yeah, they're gonna have I know for a fact, they're gonna have like pizza and sandwiches and all types of Yeah. Yeah, I'll see you guys there too. Do you do you guys in South Jersey say John? I don't fucking say that. You say if you say John then you're probably on perks. Yeah, yep, yep, I don't say I don't say John. Damn right, I played out. Yeah, look, you're not a bitch. I said, you're not a bitch. You don't say that kind of ship you guys, probably your eyes at all, like the Boston you know, stereotypical plang. Oh yeah, yeah when people say that. But no, I don't fucking even know anybody that says John. It's amazing. Love it to me. It's like the code word to get at affillyate to you, it's like, oh fucking hell, be comes another John guy at clowns John three sixteen shirts and stuff that's kind of cute, probably from probably from clowns that aren't even fucking from Philly. You know. These idiots are like that's what they fucking do over here, all right. I don't tell you what do we need? What do we need to know about Philly? Just like culturally, what do we need to know about Like if we were going to try to get out, yes, yes, yes, get in and get get it and get out out. You know, if it was convenient, I would say stay in the suburbs for the weekend. But it's not it's not bad, honestly. Uh the two Flex block party, Like if you stay around the South Street area, that's cool. You know a lot of shops, a lot of stores. But I mean that Center City area where they're doing the w W E World that's such a mess down there. I wouldn't really, Yeah, it's such a mess, like just traffic and all that, and just to park. I wouldn't go there. But the stadiums in the Wells Fargo Center is a pretty wide open, easy area to walk around and stuff. But uh, I mean Philly, it is what it is. You know what you're getting into. Much like Special Special, like the buzz and bullshit, you know what you're getting into. Punchline, Philly, it is different. The thing is you don't know what's getting into your problem damn right? Oh yeah, oh yeah, I look forward to full insertion. That's right, that's right. You can help. Can I give a shout out? Of course? Listener? Absolutely? Yeah. Josh from Lenoka Harbor, New Jersey got me into laps ten years ago. I remember he said there's this podcast, a particular podcast they're doing the seven hour show Mania seventeen. Oh my god, you gotta listen to it. That's awesome, that's fucking great. But what now? I have to bury him real quick because now he's the type of guy that says, oh, why why the fuck are they doing a TNA doing this? Why the fuck are they doing that? And then six months later he's listening to it yeah and say it and giving me all. I'm like, dude, I told you this six months ago, and now you know he's a Johnny lately now. Ye everybody, Look, everybody has it, they all come around and everybody has a different gestation period. We appreciate it. But the view never changes, Danny. The view never changes when you're t LF damn right, and you better believe those glasses are going to be on rich What privileged to have you as a listener and as a supporter, can't wait to see you and fill it wonderful. He's Lapsed fan Wrestling podcast with Jack and and JP Soro. It's a lapsed fan wrestling podcast. Feeling the momentum, feeling it now, Oh yeah, start to Yeah, I feel I feel as if a third base has been rounded. I don't know about you. Yeah, yeah, I wasn't. I didn't know order to really put it that way, but absolutely there, and we may even slide into home head first. There, we may tackle the catcher there, just a few more of these to go. Hello, Chris, this is your co chairman. Hello, Hello, what forgot? You forgot? What they're calling? Who? I know? It's late? Were you balls deep in a piece or what? I wish? He's definitely not well. Look, we want to call to say thank you for the support and thanks for coming. We can't wait to see you at Punchline Philly along with all the other Solar systant numbers. I was Arry Cally, Oh damn sure you were. And I want to ask you as having that unique perspective, which not a lot of folks. Do you know, people that know the show and it might be on the fence about coming. What is it about Lapsed Fan Live that's different or better or worse? I don't know. Oh, it's I mean, it's just the It's it's just like a carnival show. It's just like Yes, it's just like one impression after the other. And the props are fantastic. That's awesome. So where are you from? I'm from the Queen's New York Drive for you, I take it. Yeah, we're driving out there, then we're driving back to New York. Who's's not sticking around for media? Right? That's right? Damn right? Do you know what the real we know what the real main event is Queen's Boy. Think of Philly not not highly have you been? I mean, come on, guys, you've been to Philly. You know, I've been to the I've been to I've been to Eagles game of a Giant Jerseys on. I've been to Flyers games and Ranger of Jerseys on. So, yeah, you know what it is. It's it's it's less than sure. I'm with you. So what's what's what's your what's your feeling? What's your level of expectation? What will you be disappointed? If we don't touch on at Bozo's biceps and bullshit? I think nick Man stuff is going to be on another level this year. I wonder why that? What was he talking about? Boston? I don't know, Shane, what did you do? I don't even know what Shane did? He blew out his squad? Yeah, he's at a different last year, Yeah, leveled on the canvas. Can we expect another quad blow at AMENI this year? I'll be finding something else Blue Did you watch Did you go to Mania? Last year? I did? And you're not going this year? No? Why? So? What it was? Uh? Well, last year we had friends that moved up to Cali, so they were like, hey, let's do Mania. I was like, okay, I see. But now it's like, yeah, Philly, the weather's not gonna be so great, so so let me drive back and watch it at home. Be disappointed at home instead of the in the arena. That makes sense. Someone asked you, Chris, you guys are going wait a minute, You're you're gonna watch Wrestle Many this weekend, but in between the two nights, you're gonna drive into Philly, watch a pop cast at a comedy club, and then drive back and watch it at home. But what do you say to that person? You're insane and rightly so. But my question is what do you say to the person that says that to you? Oh? I mean, it's the main event. Like I said in my email, it is the absolute main event. When I told my two friends who are kind of like, they're like lapst adjacent, so I kind of like, sure, push you guys on them. But they were at California and they're like we want to go one hundred percent nice. I'm a lapsed evangelist. If you will, he's converting boss. Hey, I'm all about that convert. Do you think do you think Rock is going to be a disaster or a smashing success on night one? What's going to be the mood in the air as we take the stage on Sunday afternoon after Saturday? I think the mood will be high again like it was last said last year, like everybody was leaving the arena happy. I think the rock will be okay because it's a tag match. I don't think he's gonna blow up too bad. But yeah, I think I think. I think people will be be pumped them but I but we know ultimately what's going to happen. Disappointment. Wow, is that what you're banking on? No? I think I think. I think they're going to have to pull the trigger. I think they're gonna have to pull the trigger. But we'll see, that's right, You never know. And thanks to Chris who pulled the trigger to join us at Punchline Philly, it's going to be a smashing lapsed time. Chris, thank you for the tellas you guys are the best and then though I can't wait to see you guys in a week tremendous. All right, well, great, thanks for the time tonight, get some sleep, rest up, we'll see you. Take care, rocking and rolling? What can I say? M M? Anything else you anything else that's hit your radar for Mania that you know is coming up. Have you paid enough attention to know about any of the matches. No, I don't know what the fuck's going on. I know rock stuff. I enjoy watching the rock stuff. I enjoy watching him break all the rules that Triple H and Vince McMahon set up. That makes me happy. You've reached shift, you brother, brother, I missed that one. If you're talking about great lapsed fans, I'm that guy. Oh day one man, we're on the ground at star Cast. He's seeking us out. He's like he's helping run operations for the show, and it's just like like, I'm like running operations for us. And the time you have been more incredible, Like our buddy John Lopez, who we can't wait to see as well. Out there there are just Solar System members everywhere. If you're out there and wrestling podcast land and you think like, oh, the Labs fan guys, they're fucking week like there are there are six listeners right next to you. Yes, okay, No matter where you go, no matter where you work in this business, no matter what locker room you're in, listen. They're they're they're always they're always there and they're always listening. Hell, brother, hey, this is just the body Ventura. Do you have a moment to talk about politics in a third party atmosphere? Where's Tito Santana? Dude? That's actually a great question. That's a great question. I told look, I'm over to the barbecue. You never Cody, what the fuck is up? We can't wait to see in Philly. It's show we man trying to finish your story? Thirteen. You are watching wrestling thirteen? Yeah, it's a sid in taker right now. Yes, it is. Well, at least you won't be disappointed after watching the greatest WrestleMania match of all time. Gown to WrestleMania forty phenomenal matter. Are you going to Mania this year? I am Yeah, Me and my best friend Ryan out. We're coming from Louisiana and uh we're doing both nights. This will be my thirteenth and this will be like maybe eighth or ninth. I love that. Yeah, we'll be getting there Thursday afternoon. It's one of the longest tracks, uh we've heard about. It's not quite Australia, but as far as the Continental US goes New Orleans to Philly, that's very impressive. We love to hear it. Cody tell the people, I mean, you're coming at You're you're gonna watch Mania. Why do you have to make a little bit of time on Sunday afternoon for that fucking cast? Because back in two thousand and one, I had found out about the LABS fan. The first show I listened to is one of my favorite shows. It was wrestleminga eight four years old. That was like the first show that I really remember. And then I basically you know, went on the did the WrestleMania journey is listening to like all the shows and uh, you know, years later, Uh, here we are, Yeah, finally get to see the LAPS fan in person. So I'm really excited. That's wonderful. Are you pulling your friend into Yeah? I told him. I was like, because like I'll send him stuff, you know, like I'll tell him about how you know, laps Laps Kevin Nash, you know, fake and uh, I was like, ah, I'm gonna try to make Sunday plans. I was like, I'm gonna buy tickets to the the show. I'll tell him tell him them about it. And he was like, yeah, that's cool. So yeah he's in. That's awesome. Oh my god. Good luck to him, man, good luck. He doesn't know what he's in for. It's gonna be to laugh your ass off at this ship stand up to It's gonna be such a terrific afternoon. So I gotta ask you this. You're coming for the first time, you have high hopes, and then we're ready to fucking smash him and ship all over him. Let me ask you a question. If we don't touch on something, you'll be disappointed. If we don't touch on what uh I am bringing in some coins for the last two box, Oh boy, I will be because that's the ship. Boss. Did you fucking put Cody up to this? No? No, listen, I'm but I'm happy to finish the story. Yeah, more than one, Cody, You'll have his story. Listen listen. They didn't say which Cody was going to finish the story. They just said Cody was going to finish the story. Yeah, exactly, So we're going to be boxed in first because this is going to happen on Sunday. You're damn right, So that's all they need. It's all gravy at that point. Well, man, we can't wait to meet you. We're so excited you're going to be joining us. Thanks for the vote of confidence and we'll see you punchline Philly. All right, but I can't wait. Guys, Thank you tremendous. Yes, fuck yeah, all right, now we're going even further af old. We've in terms of the continental United States, of course, we've been to Australia. Are we going to Chico? What's that? Are we going to Mexico. I'm a big fan of Mexico. I go to don Owen Country. I have a residency there in Baha in the Baja exactly. Ah, Fresh isn't made me a message? Bruh fail. Well if you get back at him, h let's see who's next Black Adam And I heard that was a bad movie coming down the cinema? Is it really? Don't you guarantee that if you're not rock come on, No, that's an easy one. Gave us a big time, like you got to do it because it's oh yeah, he tells a big story about where Rock finds himself. Yeah, oh you know I could No, I don't know as Enrique Enrique himself. How's it going on, chairman? And Enrique is going to be with us April seventh and Philly. Tell us where are you coming from? Pal South Philly long drive? It's it's a long long drive, especially with these Christine Philadelphia roads that we have currently. Well he didn't say South Philly, Texas is where he's coming from. Whatever, long drive? So where are we eating? Where do we got we got to go? Yes for what? Well, well, I guess cheese steaks, but also from now we got this roast pork thing going on too as well. And wherever that what's the name of that place we got there? I forgot. I'm going to go back on the tape and listen to it's no recommended the best roast bork sandwich in the country in Philadelphia. Don't ask me where Angelo's or something like that. Yeah, actually, that's uh, that was exactly what I was going to suggest. Also, talking to a very lucky man who dates a woman who is a chief ste I'm sure, And she recently beat Bobby Flay recipe on what all right? So what is she going to make us some? Yeah, she's not letting you do in there. In all reality, she runs it like an upscale vegan fine dining restaurant that is sold out months upon months on end. Is that right? Well? I don't care about that. When's you making me a cheese steak? Maybe maybe I'll mail you one? All right? How does a how does a vegan boss make the best cheese steak? I don't get it. Hey, that's not for me to say. That's for you guys to eventually try it some time. You know, you'll be the judge. That's that's phenomenal man. Well, you know we've been asking everybody. We put it to you, let's see how you can do with this fastball down the middle here? Why go right? I mean people hear that about the lapsed fan, they kind of know about it. Maybe they hear about it when we're on the ground in Philly this weekend. And what would you say as to why you got to buy a ticket? Why did you do it? I think there's a couple of answers here, and I think one of them kind of lies in the fact that I think, especially as a wrestling fan living in Philadelphia, right right, this this whole week, dare I say we're going to get a little too comfortable in our own skin? Yes, you know, I think we're gonna We're gonna be among swaths of other people who are like minded to a degree, who don't mind frying under the Philly sun, wear on your favorite Philly three sixteen shirt, right yep, yelling catchphrases at one another like it's a completely normal thing to do. And Sam Woo, which she'll annoy the fuck out of me doing the Hogan flexes in public. Oh that's fine. But you know, to that end, I think because of that, we should have for as much as we're having our moment in the sun, right, I do think we all need a day of reckoning, ye, right, Yes, And I think we need to sit down and take this long, hard look in the mirror, yes, as to who we are and what we are, and and have someone guide us through this journey of post modernity, right and wow, and the shame and pain that comes with almost being defiant of of every single signal that comes through our brains that tells us we should not be enjoyed this, and who to better deliver that than the co chairs. I agree, Yeah, I think it really is the counterweight you need. It's the salty to the sweet, right, it's the I don't know, it's it's it's like we always say, it's eating your vegetables. Listening to the lapsed fan is eating your vegetables? Yes, and you don't want to. You know, everybody would like to eat cotton candy three meals a day, but you know there's candy. Well, I mean, what whatever is a stand in for your cotton candy? Of course empty calories. But I don't know, Enrique. I mean it's with Philly, with the ECW legacy and stuff like that. I'm trying to get a beat on the city in terms of like whether it's gonna feel any different than any other WrestleMania towns or WW just take it over so thoroughly and homogenize it such that it's going to be like Philly will be, like la will be, like New Orleans will be like Tampa and all the other cities they were at. I think there's two ways to look at it. Right, Certainly, you're going to have his influx of people traveling from further reaches out than South Philly. Do I say further out than parts unknown? Right? But I think I think one thing about Philly is that a lot of people know it as the city city of brotherly Love, right, but other people know it as Philadelphia. Nice. I think, you know, the famous historic of Roman reigns or royal rum will Win is indicative of how Philly crowds can treat a performer. Oh yeah, But I think what's even more interesting to me beyond on looking at the scope of what Philly is and Paul Hayman's introduction to the Hall of Fame that weekend and all that good stuff, I think we might get as close to answering the question of, you know, does it feel right now or did it used to actually be better? We have so many ingredients for this WrestleMania. This WrestleMania kind of feels a little bit like more special than other ones have in recent years, And not just because it's happening in Philly where I live. But you know, they're really trying to kind of pull all the stops right. They're bringing back the rocketsaur, they are trying to I just came up with that for you to use. That's for you to use you But but you know, and and they're just throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. And you know, there's this whole movement that they're trying to do where they're listening to fans, right, that's what they that I just read an ESPN piece about that about how you know, the Cody verse and all this stuff is like a prime example of WW listening to the fans. So what are they trying to do. They're trying to bring old back into the into the new vogue, right, and I'm kind of wondering if it's actually going to work. You know, how does one night one play out? What do the coaches have to say, yeah that that afternoon right at the brunch. I mean, how do we dissect what happened on night one? How do we look at what lies ahead for night two? And I think what has been kind of laying dormant almost this entire time, and it is very I think relevant to the Philadelphia environment is the grime and grit of what lapsed Vince has to say and where he kind of lays in the background for all of this playing out. It's very interesting lies in the background, very interesting choice of words. Well, leave us with this. I'm confused, Enrique, because I'm trying to get this Philly accent thing going. I'm not even gonna try. It's very difficult. But then I hear that all these videos are like, actually the Delco accent and it's not Philly accent. Is there a difference? Oh yeah, I think there's a severe difference. So I'm originally from South America. I'm going on like seventeen years of living here, okay, and I've tried to fight that off. You know, I catch myself seeing water from time to time when I'm not careful. And when you meet the right person who's had like a background living in Delco or in all those areas like I work in Upper Derby, that accent is very thick out there. It's it's very noticeable and it's very different from everything else you hear. And can we say, well, we sound like idiots if we say John or does no one actually say that? People say that? All right, there, we'll do it, all right. I don't know, Yeah, I don't be Yeah. Is there is there a Philly restler named John Cina? Like I don't know. Well, there's ECW referee John Finnegan, so we can go with that. Yes, there you go, there you go, yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, all right, Well, a lot, a lot to take in, a lot to considered, a lot to put under our hat. And we're very excited that you're going to be joining us punchline Philly Sunday. It's not going to be a long drive for you. So you show up fresh and ready to go, ready to contribute, ready to lead the solar system and in a in a round of applause, is we so dearly deserve Yes, absolutely, And just as a as a personal ask to everyone present, please shower. And I mean, I've been enough our liking. I don't know who's going to come in off the street. I don't know who's going to be intrigued by on the ground Grilla Marketing to come and join us. That I don't know, but Gorilla mon Soon Marketing actually Guerrilla on Soon Marketing. But I think if you're going to pick one audience that's the most likely to shower, that also is obsessive wrestling fans, lapsed fan podcast audience's pretty I think I think there's a desire to kind of to to cleanse the shame as much as possible. Yeah, I hope so, because in Philly we're all coming from the streets. You know what I'm saying. Like, it's gonna be uh, it's gonna be rough, but in a good way. It'll it will hurt in a way. We like it, you know about it. Maybe that's where the branding iron comes in. I don't know. Well, that's definitely where the branding comes in. About the branding iron, my friend. Well, great to connect with you and can't wait to see in Philly. Thank you, guys. Take it easy. We're rocking and roll. He talks about smell. It makes me makes me think about the the the the the Ring of Honor New Japan show at Madison Square Garden and just remember how bad it smelled in there, and how like hot, hot and sweaty it was. It was so gross. I wonder you fell asleep. I was boring too. Try him again? Brother? Hello, is this Elton Owen? This is Matt Clark. Brother? What's going on? Dude? How's it going so? Boss? How about this? You know, Portland, Oregon? Just to see the bozos biceps in bullshit brunch, I don't see the problem. Unbelievable man. Actually, actually I disagree. I think it's very believable. I think it's about as believable as you can get. How did you body should be coming around the world. Well, we're just about there at this point, we're just about there, having done a bunch of these calls. But no as far as the continental US. You're coming furthest man, and we can't tell you how much we appreciate it. Awesome, So why did you do it? Explain to a layman, not to us. Explain to a layman why this is a necessary thing to get in a plane for. Man. I you know, ten years ago, i'd never been to a WrestleMania. I was going to Wrestlelming thirty for the first time. Wrest did too, and you guys doing your journey before it was a key to the enjoyment of going into it. Last year, I thought, Hey, it's going to be ten years fuck WrestleMania. I got to see you guys live. Yes, So as soon as soon as you guys announced what you were doing, I purchased everything I could and made a plan. Unbelievable. So we have another example here of someone who is flying to Philly for wrestling the weekend and not going to WrestleMania but coming to TLF Live. Is that correct, Matt? That is correct. Yeah. Have you had to explain this decision to a significant other, a family member, a parent, a brother, I don't know, somebody who looked at you like, what the fuck? Yeah, I'm bringing a girlfriend who you know, she couldn't care less. But she doesn't. She doesn't know what she's in store for. Does you know about the cast? Has it ever been in the car at the same time or anything like that? Occasionally? Yeah, but she doesn't know. Me anal apocalypses about it. Oh man, Oh, this poor this poor woman. Even so, I bought two shirts from you guys recently. I made her look through the shirts, like which one do you want? My god, because you're you're wearing a shirt to the damn riches. What she gonna wear? Which one she's gonna wear the typhoon and earthquake shirt? Oh, don't tell my god. That's deep. That's that's that's the deepest cut. That's I mean, that's that might be the deepest cut shirt of anybody who goes to this thing. I think so. Honest to god, I mean, that's nineteen ninety two, that picture was taken with those fucking figures. That's I think that's my favorite shirt just in general, just because of it's it's so good. Thank you, it's amazing. Well, we hope, we hope we can at least keep her comfortable. Okay, it sounds strange coming from us, but we are very mindful that people like girlfriends, for example, are being dragged to this thing. Yeah, and so what we plan to do about it? Boss? I mean, I'm just speaking for myself here is absolutely nothing. It will just go harder and be more disgusting. Is that the plan? Yeah? I mean listen, I I I I mean I hope she is uncomfortable, you know. I hope she realizes that that not only that, but she's discovered really in life what she needs, and that is a LAPS fan. Then it'll happen. Yeah, it might, it might hurt. Might be any disagreement from that, No, I don't either. Are you gonna do anything else out there? Are you gonna go see any wrestling? Or is it really just us? It's just you guys? Like I might see the Rocky statue and have a Philly cheese steak. But that's about it. Well you're gonna a Philip chees steak. Yeah, let's let us know what's one you pick. We've been getting all kinds of different suggestions and the other really, I mean, anything that sticks out, like, uh, what was the what was the one? I don't remember the names? You've even writing him down. I haven't been writing him down. Uh huh, what the hell? I thought I had it right here? Well, there's Mike Tyson's, there's Steve Austin. I missed those. Damn. What's the uh? What the fuck? Man? I'm trying to remember. There's there's Pats which is the big one, right, Yeah, that's the one where that's very good. I bet that's when we wore win too, after Renaissance rumble that night and and you and you recommend it. Oh absolutely, it was insane. That's like the tourist trap one that people is. They just don't like it because it has a big flashy sign and it's in on postcards. Well it's like not even flashy. It's complete, you know, dive inside. But it's great, is it? Yeah? So there you go. That's the suggestion. But let us know if you find some others and uh man, we can't wait to see you guys out in silly Thank you for the support all the way out in Portland, Oregon. And uh yeah, from from the Bomber Hotel and the don Owen Territory to tlf's fucking orbit. This is a beautiful thing. So looking forward to seeing you man. Yeah, you guys too. I can't to meet you all right, take care? Yeah, thanks. I think Triple H would say it's a beautiful day, or at least you too would anyway. Yeah, don't speak for me, I'll speak for Bono at least don't call me Shirley. Let's see. So he was on his couch when we called before passing out. Let's see if we get him this time. I enjoy that, brother. Why can't I find my cheese steak list? This is going to be fucking emerging, No, I mean, Jesus Christ, like, come on now, I mean, you've got a couple of days, but Jesus, we got to eat. It's close and it's your co chairman. What's good man? Oh? What's up? Guys out here? We're in the spot. You got a couple of minutes we're catch in the middle of what he was like. He was kind of like miserable for a moment there to hear that. He's like hello, and then oh it's your coaches shone. Yeah. Yeah, we don't think you know outgoing calls. Yeah, we don't want everyone we call it know our number. So this is big Cliff Boss. You know Cliff. I mean we're talking about Cliff, the inaugural Hopper holiday gift that launched a million ships and just a great guy. So, hey man, thanks for the photo of confidence. You can't wait to see you. It's not going to be a long drive for you. No, I only live about three hours in Philadelphia. What do we need to know about the city? About Philadelphia? No, about sheboygan, Yes, Oh well I haven't. I haven't been there in like twenty years. I've seen the Liberty Independence Hall, I've been to the Ben Franklin Museum or whatever they got there. I really know too much about Philadelphia because I haven't been there since was like seventeen word word so in Independence Hall? Is that another word for the A CW A readA Absolutely, I would agree with that. I think I think I would love to see a I think I think they should hold a match. It like an independence hall brawl, right right, you just have to you just have to respell it with an NTS at the end. Yes, in the hall. So that I was gonna make a joke, that's not going to come out, right. It's all right. We we we respect the the diligence and the restraint. So why are you doing this? Man? Explain not to us, but to a layman. Explain to somebody who might be on the fence about checking us out at Punchline, Philly. Why does it have to happen? Because yes, damn it. Well, not to us, but to this the hypothetical. Listen, if you're going to spend hours of your life listening to the Labs Fan on your phone, on your computer, while you're washing dishes, while you're mowing your lawn, while you're doing your laundry, while you're jerking off, whatever it is, if you're going to spend all that time happening to the Labs fan, just take a few more hours out of your miserable, fucking existence and go see the Labs Fan live and fucking laugh for a little while. Ye're you're speaking like someone who's failed to convince someone in the past to come see us. I mean, I'm just from the hip right now. I mean I also agree. I love I love the idea that that that LABS fan listeners do have miserable lives, and I'm fine with that. We we are here to be that satisfactor. That's right, of course for our people. These are the people we can rescue. So so I definitely need to come. I'm actually not going to WrestleMania, so yes, that's the thing. I'm not going to pay a thousand dollars to go to WrestleMania and just sit there and you know, and and look at that that that nonsense. I needed yes, yes, you know it is. It is. It's something that that has to be done. And so my answer to anybody who was asking why would I my my reply is why aren't you tell? Uh? You know what? Yes, can you say the same. Let's get this last call in here? Hello, do it connect Hello in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Jael Graham, Plaintiff versus World Wrestling Entertainment Incorporated, Entertainment LLCT, Kennedy McMahon and John Larnitis defendants. Complaint. Plaintiff Jenelle Grant, by and through her undersigned council, hereby files this complaint against defendants World Rustling Entertainment Incorporated or Entertainment LLC, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, and John Larnitis, alleging as follows Introduction Number one. Plaintiff Jenell Grant is a former employee of WWE who was the victim of physical and emotional abuse, sexual assault, and trafficking at ww Miss Grant is filing this lawsuit not just to address her own suffering, but also to act for those who are afraid to speak out. Two. W's billionaire founder and executive chairman, Defendant Vincent Kennedy McMahon lived in a penthouse duplex in Miss Grant's apartment, Building number three. The two met in March twenty nineteen, when Miss Grant was dealing with profound grief and struggling financially. After devoting years to around the clock caregiving her parents passed away. On top of that, she was unemployed in her family home was lost in her parents' bankruptcy. Number four. After her family passed away, Miss Grant dedicated herself to finding gainful employment. Neighbors in her building provided career advice and sought her assistance with personal events. Miss Grant used these non paying roles and volunteer work in community initiatives to build her resume. Number five. The building's resident manager wanted to help. She messaged McMahon to ask whether he would talk to her, sharing that Miss Grant had been through hardship and would do great things if given a fresh start. McMahon enthusiastically responded hell yes. Number six. McMahon befriended Miss Grant, giving her hopes of a new life with promises of a yet to be determined role at w W and showering her with attention and assurances, along with gifts like a VIP experience at russell Mania. But what seemed like a dream in the spring of twenty nineteen quickly became a nightmare. Number seven. As McMahon dangled career making and life changing promises in front of Miss Grant, he demonstrated an increasing lack of boundaries. During several meetings that were ostensibly about a potential job at w W he greeted her in his underwear, touched her repeatedly, asked for hugs, and spent hours sharing intimate details about his personal life. Number eight. McMahon warned Miss Grant to keep their quote closeness unquote secret Less rumors lead to public trouble, and out of that while he protects loyal people, he had world class legal resources on speed dial to deal with people who became a problem. Number nine. As such, when McMahon pushed Miss Grant for a physical relationship in return for long promised employment at WWA, she felt trapped in an impossible situation submitting to McMahon's sexual demands or facing ruin. Miss Grant feared she had everything to lose and faced negative consequences no matter what happened. Ten after succumbing to the pressure for a physical relationship, Grant was slotted into an entry level position as a quote administrator coordinator, opposition McMahon created for her in WWE's legal department. MS Grant began work in that role on June seventeenth, twenty nineteen eleven. Ms Grant remained in that role, with the exception of a temporary relocation to x FL Extreme Football League, until McMahon verbally directed her to transfer to the Talent Relations department, reporting to defendant John Laureniis on March nine, twenty twenty one. During a conversation the same day, McMahon explained that her presence in legal department was effectively delaying efforts to hire a new general council for the company. Twelve, McMahon and Laureniitis informed Miss Grant that she would be promoted to vice president of operations in the Talent Relations department, providing her with an organizationational chart reflecting this decision. Thirteen. Shortly thereafter, they informed her that they needed her to begin to lower level as a director, but promised her promotion to vice president after a twelve month period. Fourteen. Despite Miss Grant's expressions of unhappiness and attempts to end the sexual relationship, and while she came to understand that McMahon expected the physical relationship to continue as part of her employment, she had no idea how sordid it would become, nor how the psychological torture in physical violence would leave her feeling helpless, isolated, and trapped. In March twenty twenty, McMahon began sharing sexually explicit photographs and videos of Miss Grant, including pornographic content he recorded with both men with other men both inside and outside the company, including with members of the television production tech team, executive executives, producers, and a world famous athlete and former UFC heavyweight champion, with whom wb was actively trying to sign to a new contract and ultimately did sign that contract sixteen. Given McMahon's omnipotent position at WWE, coercion was inherent and is increasingly depraved sexual demands. Specifically, while McMahon was CEO of WWE and Miss Grant was employed as an entry level coordinator in the legal department, McMahon recruited individuals to have sexual relations with Miss Grant and or with the two of them. Directed Miss Grant to visit defendant Laurentidis to the prior to the start of work days for sexual encounters and expected an He directed Miss Grant to engage in sexual activity at the w headquarters even during working hours seventeen. All this time, McMahon ordered Miss Grant to keep their relationship secret unless otherwise instructed, including Lyne, to maintain whatever cover stories he fabricated. Eighteen. McMahon's assurances that Miss Grant was safe and independent rang hollow in light of his efforts to isolate her from friends and attempt to and attempts to chip away her identity until it was replaced with his desired role for her as his quote bitch quote, his quote fantasy unquote, and or his quote porn star unquote, well occasionally intermixing softer descriptors like quote girlfriend unquote and quote baby unquote, even quote love unquote when convenient, the exercise complete ownership and control over both her personal and professional lives. Nineteen. McMahon also subjected Miss Grant to acts of extreme cruelty and degradation that caused Miss Grant to dissociate, disassociate, and or become numb to reality in order to survive. The horrific encounters. Number twenty is one example of McMahon's extreme depravity. On May ninth, twenty twenty, he defecated on Miss Grant during a threesome and then commanded her to continue pleasuring his quote friend unquote with feces in her hair and running down her back while McMahon went to the bathroom to shower off. Upon his return from the bathroom, McMahon and his quote friend unquote actually resumed the threesome, which lasted over an hour and a half. While Miss Grant remained covered in McMahon's filth one, McMahon's quote friend unquote left, McMahon ordered her to stay and to continue to sexually gratify him twenty one. In June twenty twenty one, McMahon defended Lauranight as sexually assaulted Miss Grant inside Laurennits' office in w headquarters while colleagues were busy at their disks. Behind a locked door, the two men cornered her and pulled her in between them forcibly touched her before ultimately putting her on top of a table in between them. She begged them to stop, but they forced themselves on her, each taking turns restraining her for the other while saying quote no means yes unquote end quote take it, bitch, unquote Number twenty two. Unsurprisingly, others at w w knew what was going on, but instead of intervening to protect Miss Grant, ww actively sought to conceal the wrongdoing twenty three. In January twenty twenty two, McMahon and Miss Grant that McMahon told Miss Grant that his wife had found out about their relationship, purportedly to avoid divorce, negative publicity, and other repercussions. McMahon said that Miss Grant's time at w w E was at an end, but that he wanted her to sign an NDA to ensure her silence on, among other things, his personal misconduct. In the days ahead, McMahon and Miss Grant under immense pressure to sign. No. McMahon put Miss Grant under immense pressure to sign, saying that refusing would only would not only jeopardize jeopardized McMahon, his family, and the company, but that she'd surely become a public headline suffer reputational ruin, including from the pornographic content McMahon had captured in face McMahon's legal resources. Conversely, McMahon reassured her that her signature would ensure his continued support and protection and safeguard her reputation. Ultimately, Miss Grant succumbed to the pressure and sign of the NDA in exchange for payments which McMahon later started stopped making twenty five. Even after pushing Miss Grant out of the company and mussling her with an NDA, McMahon continued efforts to exploit her, including attempting to traffick her to a w Starr who would be in New York City for a live event and TV taping in March twenty twenty two. Twenty six. Understandably, defendant's predatory conduct has left Miss Grant crippled both physically and mentally, including from debilitating symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder and suicidal ideation. These symptoms led to her termination from her subsequent job running her building's operations due to her inability to leave her home for weeks at a time. Twenty seven, despite McMahon's promise of reputational protection, w B appears to have leaked information that led to the public disclosure of her name by a media blogger who cited quote a source in WWE with direct knowledge of the situation, which, upon information and belief, was an overt intimidation tactic aimed at Miss Grant. WWE has also attempted to sweep the matter under the rug following media reports that McMahon was involved in a quote hush money payment scandal. W released a statement in June twenty twenty two to announce that a special Committee of its Board of directors was investigating the alleged misconduct and appointing Stephanie McMahon as interim CEO and interim Chairwoman twenty nine. In this capacity, mister McMahon, Miss McMahon publicly affirmed her commitment to quote doing everything in her power to help the special Committee complete its work and to implement its findings. She also declared the quote importance of a safe and collaborative workplace, notwithstanding in this public statement the investigation was a sham. Thirty. In November twenty twenty two, W touted the conclusion of the special committee investigation into the misconduct. Yet the special Committee never even bothered to interview Miss Grant or request many documents, despite Miss Grant stating that she would cooperate him thirty one. In SEC filings, the company tried to divert attention away from McMahon's abuse of women by focusing on the technical issue of how hush money was accounted for. In the words of the company, the issue was quote immaterial accounting errors related to certain payments that mister McMahon agreed to make during the period from two thousand and six to through twenty twenty two, emphasis added thirty two. Through all this drama, Miss Grant has endured profound suffering and silence, feeling of exploitation, loss of security, and the fear of facing the wrath of W and McMahon's army of attorneys if she were to come forward and bring to light the egregious acts detailed herein the time that time has passed, and Miss Grant seeks to hold defendants accountable for their reprehensible and unlawful acts for her own sake and for others. Ms Grant seeks a declaratory judgment veter Nda is invalid under federal and state laws, and asserts claims other laws, including the Trafficking Victims Protection Act parties. It quickly became clear that McMahon had no intention of giving her pointers for an interview except for a single direction. If the topic comes up during her meeting, miss Grant could state that they quote met through a mutual friend. During this meeting, McMahon described a surgery he had on his knee by touching Miss Grant's leg and drawing a line where the surgery had taken place with his finger. Over the next several weeks, McMahon invited Miss Grant to his condo on several occasions, each time assuring her that he would find the right position for her at WWE. For each meeting with McMahon, Miss Grant brought sample job descriptions she found online to review with him and to demonstrate the types of roles she might fit in. McMahon listened to Miss Grant her questions and pointed out qualities that he described as rare gifts, including her quote goodness, livaciousness, childlike innocidence, and ability to be quote vulnerable, All things had made her an easy target. McMahon also initiated long physical embraces with Miss Grant, repeatedly telling her that he trusted her, that he could be himself around her, that he and how he'd opened his home to her. During one visit to the condo in late April twenty nineteen, McMahon did not greet Miss Grant when he who when she entered, but instead called her to his master walking closet. As soon as she turned the corner, McMahon emerged from his bathroom wearing only briefs. Shocked, Miss Grant turned around and apologized as McMahon laughed and asked her to turn around. He then handed her a shirt and asked her for help with the buttons. Mc mahon reminded her that he was working hard on her role and said he felt good about her taking care of him. Around that time, McMahon also told Miss Grant that he would never forget how helpless she looked when they first met, that he wanted to wrap his arms around her and assured her that quote everything is going to be okay, that Miss Grant's problems were in the past. Mac mahon also told Miss Grant that he viewed her as a true friend. However, McMahon advised Miss Grant that people at WW could never know about their closeness or else rumors would spawn and threaten them, particularly due to Miss Grant's physical beauty. Big Man also emphasized that these circumstances could jeopardize the company. Around this time, he mentioned that he had an attorney on speed dial when he described who he described as the quote best of the best at making problems, including people who become problems go away. On April twenty first, twenty nineteen, McMahon unexpectedly invited Miss Grant to his condo to provide her with an update. Upon her arrival, McMahon assured her Miss Grant that he was a man of his word that his office would be in touch with her soon with the right roll. As she turned to leave, McMahon grabbed a large black electric massager and told Miss Grant to turn around for a demonstration. He quickly moved to rubbing his hands on Miss Grant's upper back before reminding her that she would hear from his office about next steps in a day or two. Two days later, Miss Grant was condage about further meetings at w W. A week later, she met with two high ranking human resource employees referred to hearing as Human Resources Employee number one and Human Resources Employee number two respectively. Both human Resources Employee number one and Human Resources Employee number two provided Miss Grand with their impressions about company culture w W and confirmed that quote the ball was in their court to figure out where she would best fit in w WE. On May fifth, twenty nineteen, Ms Grant visited McMahon's condo again and the topic of quote bucket lists unquote came up, during which Miss Grant expressed that she always dreamed of attending the Belmont Stakes. Mcman responded that he would personally acquire two tickets for her, which Miss Grant she has said she could not accept. McMahon then stood up from his chair and knelt in front of the chair where Miss Grant was seated, blocking her from standing. He leaned close to Miss Grant and told her to kiss him. Miss Grant pop gave McMahon a kiss on the cheek, to which McMahon's sighed, that's not what I meant. After McMahon walked off to his bedroom and said that he wanted Miss Grant, she swiftly rejected his advances and tried to reason with him that he was putting her in a bad position. Miss Grant pled with McMahon to stop and think about what he was doing. McMahon then begged repeatedly simply to hold Miss Grant out of fear of her for her employment and his earlier implied threats about his legal team dealing with problems. Miss Grant laid down in bed next to McMahon and kept her hands clasped and ankles crossed as she acquiesced in saying that he could only hold her but nothing more. When Miss Grant tried to make small talk about ww's TV storylines, McMahon suggested she watched the next episode of Monday Night Raw and text him before the broadcast. After she agreed, he forcibly kissed her and began pulling down a strap of honor sweater. Miss Grant then sat up, said she needed to leave and had a lot to process, and left. The next day, Miss Grant watched the show as promised and texted McMahon to wish him well. She was shocked when he appeared on the show and texted back in the middle of the live broadcast quote, that was a very nice message. She made me smile. On May ninth, twenty nineteen, McMahon texted Miss Grant that she will have a job at WWE by that Friday. The next day, Human Resources Employee number two called Miss Grant to inform her that the WWE corporate Officer number four would contact her at four pm to discuss a illegal role. After her call with a ww corporate Officer number four, Miss Grant sent McMahon a thumbs up text message to indicate the call went well. Around seven PMWE Corporate Officer number four unexpectedly called for a second time and formerly offered her a job, saying welcome to WWE. On May eleven, twenty nineteen, McMahon invited Miss Grant to his condo again and asked her to lay in bed with him before informing her that he had ordered WWE Corporate Officer number four to offer her the job, even though a job description had not been firmed up beyond a high level summary. All incredibly excited to finally receive long awaited employment in financial security, Miss Grant expressed to McMahon that there seemed to be a conflict between him his doing this and his warning to Miss Grant that no one could know about their closeness. He appeared amused with this, replying it's my company, and then undressed down to his brief while Miss Grant remained clothed, and he began kissing Miss Grant and inserting his hands into her pants without consent. On May sixteenth, twenty nineteen, McMahon informed Miss Grant that he had obtained two tickets to the Belmont stake scheduled for June eighth, twenty nineteen. On May seventeenth, twenty nineteen, Ms Grant received an offer from WWE for an entry level job as a quote legal administrator coordinator with a salary of seventy five thousand dollars. On May eighteen, twenty nineteen, McMahon summoned Miss Grant to his condo and she brought a printed copy of the offer letter to review with him. McMahon informed Miss Grant that her new boss, a w employee who worked in risk and government relations, referred to hearing as WW employee number one, was a decades long family friend and confidant similar NATIONE McMahon, and one of a small original group what McMahon called the Titan family who up the WW expand from a regional promotion to a global juggernaut. Mcman stated that outside of his attorney, WW employee number one was the most feared figure in the company because WW Employee number one usually fired employees. Beyond that, he offered a little detail about W Employee number one's role on WW weeks. Instead, he focused on WW employee number one's personal traumas, explaining that, similar to Miss Grant, WWW employee number one has no family left after W employee number one spouse passed away and then the McMahon's and WWE were WWE employee number one surrogate family. Mcmahonuted the WW employee number one's loyalty, saying that WWE employee number one would be able to protect Miss Grant, and then led her to his bedroom while giving her the command of quote, please don't stop this. During the May eighteenth, twenty nineteen encounter. Miss Grant felt coerced into engaging in sexual activity and that McMahon had trapped her in an impossible situation, as she feared adverse career in personal consequences and legal retaliation if she declined his advances. McMahon stated, this is what I've been waiting for as he performed oral sex on miss Grant. Miss Grant asked that protection be used, and McMahon responded that there was no need to worry because he was quote clean unquote. Feeling that she was being used for his gratification, Miss Grant went numb and was unable to make eye contact. McMahon then flipped on his back and said okay off. Disturbed by the non sexual the non consensual sexual encounter, she hoped that McMahon would cease his advances, but his advances continued and left her to fulfill his demands or lose her job. On June sixteenth, twenty nineteen, the day before starting with w W E, mus Grant attempted to shut down any further physical contact or sexual encounters by admitting to McMahon her unhappiness and concern starting her first ever job in his legal department, no less while in a physical relationship with the chairman and CEO. She requested that the end any physical relationship while remaining friends to avoid any risks to either of them. McMahon refused, saying that it was not ending, it did not need to, and that he did not quote ever envision it ending. He reminded her that he trusted her, reiterated that rumors would lead to trouble, probed whether her silence would be an issue, and brushed off concerns that she was struggling with the feeling that her job felt unearned. McMahon told Miss Grant that all she needed to do was not tell anyone, and that a quote just has to look legit. McMahon then spuned the conversation and told Miss Grant to focus on the positives and embrace that her life was about to change, saying, isn't that what you've always wanted? McMahon manipulatively emphasized that she's about to start an adventure and gain new family with thee as a surrogate for the family that she'd lost. Ultimately, Miss Grant's unsuccessful attempt to end further unwanted physical contact quickly taught her that her view on the matter was not relevant. Second scene, Miss Grant's WWE career commence his minimal work in an absent boss. On June seventeenth, twenty nineteen, Miss Grant reported to WWE headquarters for her first day of work. With attorneys in glass offices and support staff in cubicles with low walls and tall monitors, it was easy to see how much other colleagues worked as a quiet and small department. It was even easier to overhear their conversations, as Grant was immediately surprised that there was not much work assigned to her, struggling even to appear busy in her role in Stark. Contrast to colleagues who complained about overflowing inboxes, Miss Grant's phone only overflowed with controlling and sexually charged text messages from the chairman and CEO, reminding her both of McMahon's power and ever present surveillance. Colleagues shared on boarding size with Miss Grandam and talked about receiving premate binders of information or the upper hen read to shadow departing employees, none of which happened from missus Grant, nor did anyone know what her unusual title of administrator coordinator meant MS Grant don't even meet W Employee number one until her second week of employment. WW employee number one was a lively individual who frequently regaled the legal department with stories of others at w w W. If McMahon's name was mentioned, WW employee number one would turn to Miss Grant with a smile and a fingerpoint and a comment that drew attention to her connection to McMahon, such as, quote, she knows what I'm talking about. W Employee number one and Miss Grant bonded as quickly as McMahon had predicted. MSS Grant referred to as a quote partner and was taught words to live by in WW, including quote we do what's in the best interests of the company quote, protect the business unquote, and if McMahon wants something quote, the answer isn't no, but rather how do we make it happen. W Employee number one also impressed on Miss Grant the job titles quote don't meet anything from members of McMahon's inner circle, which she was clearly considered to be a part of, as W Employee number one was seldom in the office and required little administrative support. Miss Grant reported directly indirectly to other w employee to another WW employee within the legal department, referred to hearing as WW employee number two, who provided her with occasional projects related to talent appearances and XFL that helped film his Grant's time. Based on her hiring a loan, WWE Corporate Officer number four was on notice that there was something different about mss Grant, namely her connection to McMahon. As Miss Grant feared and had expressed McMahon, she was unhappy that a spotlight was unnecessarily put on her before she ever set foot in the office. Miss Grant immediately noticed that WWE Corporate Officer number four was warm with other colleagues, but cold towards her. Beginning in July twenty nineteen, after Ms Grant raised an issue related to two XFL's performance enhancing drug policy with McMahon, WWE Corporate Officer number four's behavior shifted from cold to actively hostile. If mss Grant walked into a room, all WWE Corporate Officer number four was laughing with colleagues. WWE Corporate Officer number four's expression immediately became blank and WWE Corporate Officer number four would walk away. If WWE Corporate Officer number four and Miss Grant walked towards each other in a hallway, WWE Corporate Officer number four stopped and changed directions. Colleagues noticed that this shift in behavior. While some commented on it to Miss Grant, others emulated it. Notwithstanding the issues detailed above, Miss Grant took her employment seriously. In contrast, McMahon continued a pattern of sending sexually charged messages throughout the work week. Certain her employment depended on her continued appeasement and of and obedience to McMahon, and believing she needed McMahon's protection from the suspicious WWE Corporate Officer Number four and others, Miss Grant felt no choice but to respond in kind. From all this, MSS Grant began to experience debilitating panic attacks in the office on a near daily basis that left her physically drained. She could not hide the physical symptoms of these attacks and texted resident manager, you should see the way people look at me when I'm having an attack. But while her coworkers noticed, no one dared get involved. Section D McMahon's course of control tactics to sexualize and dehumanize Miss Grant. In the summer of twenty nineteen, McMahon's presence was all consuming in Miss Grant's life. In the office, she felt monitored as she was surrounded by allies of McMahon, which led to continued daily panic attacks. Outside the office, McMahon sexualized her entirely. He no longer referred to her as a friend and largely stopped talking to Miss Grant outside of sexting and fantasy talk. Any non sexual text to life and or work where other were either ignored or given token responses like okay or yep. As detailed here in. McMahon was adamant about having Miss Grant send him explicit photographs, in pressing upon her that it was part of her sexuality. Given the control that McMahon had over Miss Grant's employment, she felt compelled to comply and sent the explicit photographs to McMahon's mobile device. Miss Grant was routinely assured the photographs she was providing him to McMahon, which remained private and were part of their quote secret world. McMahon began to degrade Ms Grant calling her quote his bitch, while hinting at a fascination with having other people watch them engage in sexual activity. Additionally, the complain details encounters during which McMahon caused Miss Grant to sustain physical injuries, including bleeding and pain from forceful use of sex toys. Despite Miss Grant's plea to cease any further sexual activity, the number of sexual encounters increased, as in McMahon's physical aggression during them. Notably, McMahon was most aggressive when using the sex toys. The certain sex toys named after male ww wrestlers and performers. McMahon named the sex toys that the color of the toy matched the race of the wrestler. For example, a big a black dildo would be named after an African American wrestler, and a white dildo would be named after a Caucasian wrestler. In addition to McMahon's infatuation with pretending that other men, and namely certain w talent, were in the room with him, this was yet another incremental step in dehumanizing or desensitizing Miss Grant to his fantasy and eventual demands that she performed sexual acts and or have sexual contact with others WITHINWWE. During a David Versus Goliath type wrestling match in twenty nineteen, ms Grant shared with McMahon her thoughts on the event, the draw of rooting for the underdog, and ideas for future events. McMahon complimented her creative input. She believed she was being taken seriously. That is until McMahon named a dildo after the smaller wrestler and attempted to sexualize the situation, diminishing her input. By fall of twenty nineteen, McMahon frequently pressed for pornographic videos and more explicit content. While ms Grant expressed apprehension with his requests, McMahon responded with assurances that she could trust him or questioned why she didn't trust him. McMahon also took care to remind Miss Grant of his power and influence, such as by flaunting a meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince. In October twenty nineteen, Section E, McMahon tightens his grip on Miss Grant and discredits her doctor, replacing him with one of McMahon's choosing. In addition to her panic attacks, Miss Grant began experiencing increasingly severe physical, mental, and emotional symptoms, including sleep disruption, dizziness, exhaustion, rashes, weight loss, hair loss, and migraines. In November twenty nineteen, Miss Grant informed McMahon that her doctor suggested that her symptoms stem from trauma in ongoing stress. McMahon mocked her emotional trauma miass However, on November twentieth, twenty nineteen, McMahon insisted in Miss Grant's the a physician of his choosing. The physician is referred to herein as celebrity doctor, and the facility that celebrity doctor operated from is referred to herein as alternative alternative clinic. McMahon Celebrity Doctor, assured Grant that are bills that alternative clinic would be taken care of under McMahon's account. After the initial visit became apparent to Miss Grant that mcmahnon celebrity doctor, wanted Miss Grant to remain in the care of Celebrity Doctor's practice, and Miss Grant felt pressure to do so. Celebrity Doctor made comments about how celebrity doctor they they were referring to McMahon an alternative and alternative clinic had quote saved her life and Celebrity Doctor often remarked how ms Grant was unable to even make eye contact with Celebrity Doctor during their initial sessions, an obvious sign of trauma. MS Grant acknowledged having a relationship with McMahon during visits with Celebrity Doctor, who gave little reaction save telling her that they were at there were quote many different paths to God and love. Celebrity Doctor lavished attention treatments and products on Miss Grant, all of which were paid for under McMahon's account. MS Grant was never provided with any receipts. When ms Grant inquired about certain treatments, provided a Celebrity Doctor challenger on whether she trusted Celebrity Doctor and postured that if she didn't trust Celebrity Doctor, then we should part ways right now. At the outset of her care with Celebrity Doctor, each session lasted up to one hour. MS Grant would have feeling exhausted from would leave feeling exhausted from Celebrity Doctors deep dives into her personal and work life as a quote coach focused on behavioral science section F. In twenty twenty, McMahon voices concern about rumors then publicly exploits her and as Miss Grant's desperate attempt to leave WWE. On January thirtieth, twenty twenty, WWE issued a press release announcing that the company's co presidents, George Barrios and Michelle Wilson were departing the company and would no longer serve on its board of directors. A significant drop in w stock price followed. The company announced that Frank Riddick third, a member of board of directors for more than eleven years, would be interim chief financial Officer and report directly to McMahon. On February third, twenty twenty, McMahon sent a message to mss Grant advising he had been informed by w corporate Officer number two and there were a lot of rumors circulating about McMahon and MSS Grant. McMahon warned Miss Grant that rumors quote were not good for either of them. Then, on February tenth, twenty twenty, without any advanced warning, MSS Grant was temporarily relocated to the XFL Workplace work Force. MS Grant, having been desperate to escape the feeling of being trapped in our existence at w applied to remain with the XFL on March sixth, twenty twenty. She openly vocalized her desire to remain with XFL to colleagues, even referring to her state of work at WWE as nothingness, and she sought permissions to make the change official from w Employee number one in Corporate Officer number four before informing McMahon. Days after this, during which time she had finally told McMahon about her applications to remain with the XFL. Her request was denied in the weeks that followed. Despite McMahon's warning about rumors and direction to Mims Grant's to Miss Grant to play dumb, he began showing explicit photos of Miss Grant to people both inside and outside the company. On March twenty six, twenty twenty, McMahon sent a lengthy message to Miss Grant describing in detail the circumstances surrounding sharing explicit photographs of Miss Grant to a former WWE referee referred to here and as WWE referee. McMahon described how w referee left to masturbate and told Miss Grant she had made a perfect strain. You're very happy Miss Grant initially dismissed this as mere fantasy talk, believing that McMahon would not actually do such a reckless thing, But once she voiced apprehension about McMahon sharing naked photos of her with someone she did not know, McMahon's response was not to comfort her, but to assure her of WWE referee's loyalty to him. This sharing of explicit photos terrified Miss Grant, as it illustrated Miss McMahon's sheer lack of self control, and it further panicked her that these private and intimate photos would include which included her face, were being shared with complete strangers. On March thirty of twenty twenty, McMahon enthusiastically messaged Miss Grant that w referee had showed a friend naked photo of Miss Grant, which marked the beginning of McMahon's sharing Miss Grant's naked pictures with others who he and courrieres to share with their friends. On March thirty first, twenty twenty, Ms Grant expressed concern to McMahon that she had no intention of having sex with these strangers and requested McMahon make that message clear, as she felt threatened and distressed by the responses her pictures were getting, she made clear that she did not want any person. She did not want any perception of her moving beyond the point of mere fantasy. Shortly after, McMahon's surprised Miss Grant with news that he had protected her job from furlough that w would imminently announce. The furlough affected a large number of employees, and McMahon emphasized that he personally made sure that she would not be one of them, reinforcing her dependency on him, particularly after a majority of the support staff in the legal department, all hired prior to MSS Grant, were furloughed. McMahon became the most important figure in Miss Grant's life as he meticulously asserted power and control over every over almost every aspect of it. Miss Grant's fears intensified over the consequences that could result from McMahon's actions, particularly by sharing her naked pictures. She became paranoid, completely dependent on and worshipy devoted to McMahon. He, in turn pressed forward and exerting his power over Miss Grant as he saw fit. Section G. McMahon recruits other men and forces Miss Grant into sex trafficking. In May twenty twenty, McMahon had recruited an individual whom he manipulatively referred to as his quote friend to engage in a threesome with McMahon and Miss Grant. The friend turned out to be McMahon's physical therapist an alternative clinic and is referred to here in as physical therapist. To induce missus Grant's participation in the threesome, McMahon began referring to Miss Grant as his quote girlfriend as enter a large pouquet of flowers. Nevertheless, on May eighth, twenty twenty, ms Grant exposed apprehension about participating in the threesome. In response, McMahon insisted that the plans were already made and suggested that he would lose a friendship if she did not go through with it. On the day of the threesome, on May ninth, twenty twenty, Miss Grant showed up at the condo but reiterated that she did not want to go through with the act. She expressed fear of being thrown around like a rag doll by McMahon and physical therapist. After ms gran clearly stated she wanted to back out. McMahon responded by telling Miss Grant for the first time that he loved her, sudding her into silence. McMahon's manipulative tactic resulted in the outcome he wanted, and he led her down the stairs to the bedroom where physical therapist was already waiting to begin threesome. Early in the encounter, McMahon immediately directed Miss Grant to lay down on her back in a supplicating position while straddled. While straddling over her, McMahon defecated on McMahon on Miss Grant's head. McMahon lets the shower off, but he instructed Miss Grant to remain in place with excrement in her hair and to continue performing for his friend. While Miss Grant requested protection, none was offered. McMahon and physical therapist actively continued with the threesome and directed Miss Grant's sexual performance for around an hour and a half while she was left covered in feces, allowing threesome. On May eleven, twenty McMahon sent an explicit message to Miss Grant that further detailed his fantasies of seeing her engaged in sexual relations. I love it that's huge anel. You just can't get enough ken you. In the future, it's going to be so bad that you'll fucking demand to be fucked twice a day, and not just with blank in a three way. Why not let others see the beautiful, voluptuous body and watch you shake uncontrolled, uncontrollably. When you come, they'll go out of their minds. Then I'll find more friends and we'll tie you up so you're helpless. I'll direct them to have their way anyway they want. Who can make you scream the loudest, and you'll just line them up and have them squirt in your mouth, your pussy, all over your tits and ass and all. At the same time you'll be covered and come and will make you eat it all and taste everybody's coming. Next morning, you'll be a little sore, but you're still gonna want more after all that fucking over and over. McMahon then pressured Miss Grant into several additional threesomes, in large part because she felt she had no other choice, particularly over after McMahon's comments that he had personally ensured that she had not lot that she had not lost her job. Her subsequent run ins with physical therapists. An alternative clinic also served as a reminder of how much was at stake if she did not obey. McMahon controlled Miss Grant's employment income, paid for her medical gere, circulated naked pictures of her, and ignored her lack of consent for the first threesome. Indeed, when text conversations would begin to cross over from McMahon's fantasies into reality, Miss Grant often attempted to avoid physical encounters with physical therapists, as on May twenty twenty when you told McMahon there was quote no room for the third body. After the threesomes began, McMahon became more sadistic, and his fantasy is focused on control, such as choking, sensory deprivation, pain, humiliation, and group scenarios in which Miss Grant was to be physically overwhelmed and subservient. Are you your last picture? You need your panties ripped off in three big black dicks and all three holes at the same time. Weigh up your pussy and weigh up your ass as far as they will go, but even farther and the thickest cock goes down your throat, so it makes you gag in convulses, those big black cocks pound away. It feels like from the start you're becoming assaulted, but it's just you come NonStop, just one continuous, constant orgasm, and just before you pass out, those big black dicks squirt their loads of come inside you. As you lay in your stomach, the com is coming out of all your holes. I'll turn you over and jack off all over you. On one occasional instructed, Miss Grand quote, do not knock on the door, because if I see you, I will rape you in the hallway. To leave no doubt regarding the dynamic of their relationship, on May twelve, twenty twenty, McMahon texted and Miss Grand quote, I'm the only one who owns you and controls who I want to fuck you. I think that was often reiterated throughout their involvement. On June seventeenth, twenty twenty, Miss Grant sent text to McMahon noting her one year anniversary and joining we. McMahon ignored her. A month later, McMahon reminded Miss Grant about the far freaching results of his texting out explicit content of her quote. By now thousands of men see you every day all over the world. They all want to fuck you. Around this time, McMahon openly shared explicit photographs and salacious stories about Miss Grant with WW crew at TV tapings, a group McMahon also referred to as his quote fan as her quote fan club. Indeed, McMahon exuberantly messaged her or truthful story of having just shared explicit content of her with a group of twelve men on the WW Tech crew and recounted the obscene details he shared with them. I just passed my phone around to a bunch of guys on the Tech crew. They were screaming, OMG, she's a fucking beautiful look at that ass. Let to get that, I paused to count out loud how many guys there were twelve, then said, okay, there's twelve of you, and she would love to fuck each in every one of you at one time. The guys cheered, But she will only do it if she takes three at the time. That brought a huge reaction. She wants one deep in her ass, one way down in her throat, and one in her pussy, and you can pound her and keep on pounding her till you pop, till you pop your load. She may scream and try to say no, although it would be difficult to say anything with a cock down her throat. And then said listen, and then said listen, no matter what, just pound away till you squirt. Baby. These guys we are going to have a blast with me. Some of them didn't even didn't believe me. So I said, you were the greatest fuck in the world, and no matter how much you get, you always wanted more. And then I said, she knows she loves come. Baby. These texts as we call them, were having the time of their lives listening to my truthful story. I then said, you would take a ten minute break between each fucking, but then you would get back on your hands and knees with your ass in the air and say, okay, I'm ready, who's next? Lol? I drove them wild, baby, or I should say you drove them wild. I just happened. I just imagined if this reality happened today, how much come you would have coming out all your holes. On the occasions when ms Grant informed McMahon that she was physically injured during their sexual encounter, McMahon's response is varied from apologies to non accountable pushback and blaming impulse control. When encounters were particularly brutal, Miss Grant leaned. Miss Grant learned to bookend the truth of her injuries with complaints to create the least amount of pushback from McMahon. However, Miss Grant sustained brutal and painful injuries, including bleeding, swelling, bruising, and spans of incontinence, resulting from McMahon's forceful use of his fists, adult toys, and objects unsafe for vaginal insertion or penetration. For instance, on August twenty eight, twenty twenty, Miss Grant texted McMahon that she was injured during their latest sexual encounter as a result of McMahon's insistence on penetrating Miss Grant with quote extra large toys, including a vibrating wand that caused her to panic. McMahon ignored Miss Grant's warning that the device was not meant for insertion and forcefully shoved the wand inside of her so deeply that it became stuck for a period. She texted she was in pain and bleeding a lot last night in today and quote, I'm on the floor right now because I can't get comfortable, and on August twenty nine, twenty twenty, she texted him an update that she was quote still really uncomfortable and I got hurt in some way that I'm having trouble describing. McMahon did apologize, saying that quote sometimes I just get carried away. Letter h McMahon recruits Laurenidis into his exploitation of Miss Grant and transfers her into Laurenidis's department at WWE Trafficking and Sex Acts at WW Headquarters. During this time, Miss Grant became so sick from the stress of the situations that McMahon had subjected her to that her weight plummeted to just over one hundred pounds, which McMahon ignored. One distressing and occurred on November twenty. November twenty, twenty twenty, when McMahon drove Miss Grant to wb headquarters to fulfill his fantasy of having a sexual encounter with her in his office, causing Miss Grant to suffer a panic attack in the passenger seat while pleading with McMahon to change his mind and drive her back home. McMahon scoffed and then gave her an ultimatum either have a sexual encounter in his office or inside the parked car. Terrified, Miss Grant obeyed McMahon's directions and they entered WWE headquarters for the encounter. Further, despite Miss Grant's repeated statements that she did not consent to threesomes with McMahon and physical therapist, McMahon advertised her to others and told her that he had found another person to join them, defendant John Lourene. In November twenty twenty, McMahon pressed Miss Grant to make explicit photos and videos to send to Laureniis. McMahon orchestrated in exchanges by instructing Miss Grant when to create explicit content for Laureniis, including what to say, and provided her with notes to adjust her performance. McMahon then facilitated the exchange of explicit content back and forth between Miss Grant and Laureniis. Notably, even once phone numbers were exchanged between Miss Grant and Laureniis, McMahon insisted that he be privy to any messages that Miss Grant sent to Laureniis and demanded that she report back about all interactions, further illustrating the level of control he held over miss Grant. On or about December twenty ninth, twenty twenty, a threesome was arranged between McMahon, Laurenidis, and Miss Grant at McMahon's condo. Instructed her to tell Laurenidis that she was a neighbor and girlfriend working in the legal field, but not at WW. Shortly after meeting Lauraitis, Miss Grant asked him if she was the first woman whom McMahon had introduced him to in such a setting. Laureniis failed to respond and shout a look directly at McMahon, who quickly intervened by kissing Miss Grant and initiating the sexual encounter amongst the three of them. Once again, Miss Grant asked for protection. Once again, her request was denied after an assurance that Laurenidis was quote clean unquote. In the days that followed, McMahon texted her that Laurenidis quote hugged me like a bear and said thank you to me about twelve times already unquote. In contrast, Laurnai's message, Miss Grant quote thank you, thanks for the fun afternoon unquote. On or around January twenty fifth, twenty twenty one, Miss Grant was reassigned directly to directly support WWE's new hire, a high ranking employee in the legal department. On February fifth, twenty twenty one, McMahon sent Miss Grant to establish a schedule for when other men, including physical therapist and Laurnidis, could have sex with Miss Grant, which Miss Grant attempted to rebuff. Exactly, Baby, he's not the only one. Redacted called me this afternoon, begging to eat you and fuck you with his nice and hard dick. The response, give me another week, baby, and I'll be ready. I'm feeling more like myself. It's not great, but it's getting better. Tell him soon. Exclamation point, exclamation point, exclamation point, I already told him, baby. By the way, Johnny wants Tuesdays, but not this coming one and the ocasional Saturday. But maybe I can shift it two Thursday nights. Johnny would like all of the above text like this. A shift schedule caused Ms Grant to suffer breakdowns over how her original hope for a new life had been reduced to an objectified and to humanized existence with no way out honor. About March sixth, twenty twenty one, a second threesome between McMahon, Laurenidis, and Miss Grant occurred in March twenty twenty one. WWE had still not hired a replacement after WB corporate Officer number four's termination in November twenty twenty. On March ninth, twenty twenty one, McMahon informed Miss Grant, still an entry level coordinator, that top executives in the company knew about their relationship and that her presence in the legal department was effectively delaying the company's efforts to hire a new replacement for this high ranking official reinforce, coursing the fact that many within the company were well aware of the circumstances detailed herein. As a result, McMahon stated that the plan was for her to change departments and be and he verbally directed Miss Grant to transfer to the Talent Relations department reporting to Laurinidis. On March tenth, twenty twenty one, Miss Grant sent McMahon a text message recapping their conversation and expressing shock and a range of concerns, including about Laurinidis. Essentially, Miss Grant expressed his desire to be treated humanely and taken seriously, which she acknowledged could be a quote uphill battle. Unfortunately, Miss Grant's transfer to the Talent Relations department came with the expectation from both McMahon and Laurinidis that she engage with Lauraidis sexually, both physically and with explicit content. On March tenth, twenty twenty one, WWE corporate Officer Number two informed Grant that that day that she would be officially moved to Talent Relations and would quickly begin reporting to Laura Nidis, although details about her role, including a title and salary, were still being firmed up. In essence, Miss Grant again found herself in a completely undefined role, except for the understanding that she remain a sexual slave to be used and trafficked by McMahon within the WWE. On March twelve, twenty twenty one, McMahon reminded her of the connection between her job and her role as a sexual object. Quote let's work hard and play hard to On March sixteenth, twenty twenty one, Miss Grant was directed to pick up a key to Laura Nidis's hotel room and serve herself to him as quote breakfast before the start of work. That man constantly reinforced the expectation that Miss Grant sexually perform for him and her new boss, Laura and I is both in and out of the office. Be Man wrote on March twenty second, twenty twenty one, quote, do you promise to make me proud? Baby? Will you show him what a pornostar you can be? Will you show off for me like never before? And quote on days when he's in town, I want him to fuck you every morning and later in the office too. Bag Man also indicated on April second, twenty twenty one, that Miss Grant should obey if Laura and I just wanted to bring in yet more men quote, maybe he wants two other guys to join you with him. Holy shit, you've told him you would do quote anything unquote with him, so if he surprised you with two others, you would have no alternative then to take them on exclamation point exclamation exclamation point. OMG, the stories you could tell me then it makes me want to come right now. By the way, I just thought of what I think is an excellent idea. Maybe you can hint that if he knows someone who can be discreet, it might be better if you and Johnny try him out first so he can get more comfortable before he is introduced to me. Actually, that makes total sense, doesn't it And until twenty twenty one, WB Senior vice president of human Resources was fired. The same month, McMahon informed Miss Grant that that she would be given the title of vice President Operations within the Talent Relations department. However, days later, McMahon backtracked and said she would be a director of Operations instead to avoid suspicion of a sudden promotion to vice president. During this conversation, McMahon told me Grant that he had expressed to other WWE management that he wanted her to reach the level of vice president and spend a year or two in that position, as she would be able to quote take the experience anywhere. Miss Grant left this conversation with McMahon hoping that she could escape this situation with her finances and reputation. Intact, she just needed to survive until that point. In an April twenty twenty one meeting with between Miss Grant and ww corporate Officer number two, WWE Corporate Officer number two acknowledged that the jump initially proposed to vice president was too big and could put a target on Miss Grant's back. Nevertheless, WWE corporate Officer number two presented Ms Grant with paperwork detailing a base salary increase to two hundred thousand dollars as director of Operations. As soon as Miss Grant began working directly for Laurenidis forcibly forcible touching, so virtually sexual behaviors became a part of daily life when he was in the office. On numerous occasions, Miss Grant was directed to visit Lauraiitis at his hotel before work to serve himself to him as his quote breakfast. These devastating experiences made Miss Grant feel as though she were being pimped out as an object for sexual gratification for her new boss. Upon information and belief, corporate funds from the w W were used to finance Laurinidis's hotel stays when these coerced sexual encounters occurred. Per mcman's instructions, Miss Grant reported interactions with Laurnaidis back to McMahon, for whom the stories served as a source of arousal. The arrangement with Lornaitis of Miss Grant miserable and enraged. However, in her years of experience with McMahon, she knew her request to stop would be ignored at best, or used to destroy her career and reputation at worst. Miss Grant was further left feeling isolated by colleagues and surveilled by the top level employees with them the w W A professionally and personally. Miss Grant's fate was entirely in the hands of McMahon, Laurinidis, and the other w W executives who enabled her abuse. On May twenty fourth, twenty twenty one, McMahon messaged Miss Grant to remind her that a mistake could destroy her career and that she should pursue verbal communication rather than written where possible those compliments. This is a text message. Those compliments will keep on coming, baby, just wait and see. I totally understand and agree regarding being scared of communication photos. Johnny gets drunk and sloppy and could easily make a mistake that cost him his job and yours too. Verbal communication is the way to go. That said, have you one Johnny talked about breakfast tomorrow? We haven't discussed it at all. It's up in the air. Johnny complained about getting a new phone, and it just arrived. I haven't set up time to coordinate setting it up with it because I need him to assure me that he's erased everything he's ever saved. Truly, I regret that he ever got picks. It's not worth the stressing I'm feeling. I'm done with it. Panic that's someone else's mistake could cost Miss Grant her livelihood left her feeling helpless and afraid of what would happen if McMahon's mood shifted, leading her to message him expressions of loyalty, love and submission as a coping mechanism and with the hope that he would protect her on June twenty fourth, twenty twenty one. On June fourteenth, twenty twenty one, Miss Grant again told McMahon that she did not want to engage in sexual encounters with Laurnidis, adding quote, I've left that hotel feeling bad about myself every time. McMahon responded that the one on one encounters could cease, but that he expected threesomes with Laurnidis to continue. Let her I McMahon and Laurennidis confined Miss Grant in an office for an abusive sexual assault at w W headquarters the following morning. On June fifteenth, twenty twenty one, at approximately seven fifty one am, Miss Grant message McMahon that due to her work on an important project, she did not want a threesome that week, as a quote, threesome won't set me up for success, it'll knock me out. To avoid pushback from McMahon, Miss Grant offered the following week instead. McMahon, Laura and Iidis ignored her plea and brought her into Lauraidis's office forcibly touching and undressing her before forcing her to engage in a threesome on a conference table. Miss Grant pleaded no, no, no, and please stop. McMahon responded with no means yes. Miss Grant again told them to stop. Instead, McMahon licked his fingers and penetrated Miss Grant and said take it, bitch, with each taking turns restraining her for the other. Laurenidis then joined by forcibly forcibly shoving his tongue then penis into Miss Grant's mouth. On June twenty third, twenty twenty one, around eleven forty two am, McMahon directed miss Grant in the middle of a work day to meet him on a lower floor. When Miss Grant arrived, McMahon let her inside his at locker room, locked the door, and forced himself on her over a massage table. Later that day, fifteen thousand dollars in gift cards to Bloomingdale's were purchased at McMahon's direction and delivered by McMahon's personal assistant to Miss Grant in her office. On multiple other occasions, while Miss Grant worked under Laura Nitis, including after McMahon's promise that one on one encounters would end, even after his wife moved across the country to join Laura Nidis, he would call Miss Grant into his office, lock the door on, zip his pants, and instruct Miss Grant to perform oral sex. Through all this, Miss Grant noticed that the less she sexually engaged with Laura Niitis, the less work she had As Laura Nights began to belittle Miss Grant in front of colleagues. Fearing for herself and her future, MS Grand Asslaurinidis whether he still supported her promotion to vice president. He deflected with an answer about considering all options and changed the topic. The extreme uncertainty and fear for her future exacerbated Miss Grant's physical symptoms of illness, including gastro intestinal issues and vomiting, which continued to worsen over the remainder of her time with the WWE. Letter J McMahon uses Miss Grant as a sexual pawn to entice world famous wrestling talent and to keep WWE Superstar under contract with WWE. WWE Superstar is worldwide. Is famous worldwide as a top talent with WWE, with a large collective fan base that helps generate viewership and drives in person attendance, all of which and enrich WWE and McMahon. Upon information and belief, McMahon began to recruit WWE Superstar for a sexual encounter with Miss Grant while she was still a coordinator in the legal department. By July of twenty twenty one, McMahon informed Miss Grant that ww Superstar would be their next quote playmate quote as in other circumstances, McMahon described his fantasy of seeing Miss Grant engaged in unmerciful sexual acts with the ww Superstar during which he would quote rip unquote her open. McMahon also confided to Miss Grant that he wanted to have WWE Superstar under a new contract, while WW Superstar indicated an interest in a return to other professional endeavors. On or about July twelfth, twenty twenty one, McMahon directed Miss Grant to create personalized sexual content for WW Superstar. McMahon shared the photos with the WB Superstar and then informed Miss Grant he likes what he sees. On July twenty first, twenty twenty one, McMahon flew and or cause WW Superstar to fly on jet into a local airport and travel into Connecticut across state lines for what McMahon described to Miss Grant as a quote business dinner as well as a sexual encounter with Miss Grant in McMahon's condo upon information and belief, the dinner was to discuss WW SuperStar's continued involvement with WWE. Prior to the business dinner with McMahon, WWWE Superstar made a brief visit to Miss Grant's building. However, WW Superstar did not return to the building for a sexual encounter because he was too intoxicated and taken back to the plane later that evening. After McMahon recounted the story about his dinner with ww Superstar to Miss Grant. He sought to salvage the night with a request that they role play a sexual encounter in which McMahon acted as if he were w WE Superstar. McMahon was so physically rough with Miss Grant during this encounter that Miss Grant begged McMahon to stop numerous times, including loud cries of quote helpuo, quote serious, I'm serious unquote end quote, I'm scared unquote, as he, among other things, penetrated her, fisted her, pulled her hair, pinned her, shoved her, and open palm slapped her. McMahon's assault caused Miss Grant to break down, weeping and curl into the fetal position with her arms pulled up to protect her face. McMahon alternated between slaps and shoves before admitting, Matt quote, I'm really fucking up with you right at right and left tonight, aren't I huh. McMahon forbade Miss Grant from leaving his condo that night unless she could verbally assure him that there wasn't a problem and everything between them was okay. Notably, however, he made no effort to check on her well being. After she left his condo. On August twenty sixth, twenty twenty one, WWE held its second biggest annual event, SummerSlam, in Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium. Around this time, McMahon WB Superstar privately reached an informal agreement about his return. That night, McMahon texted Miss Grant a reminder that she was an enslaved object to him. I quote, I want to drive you lower and lower, so low that you might beg me to sell you. McMahon continued to advertise a sexual encounter with Miss Granted WW Superstar during the formal negotiating negotiation of a new booking contract with WW. Text message, here's what redactage said after I told him that part of the deal was fucking you quote Lol, that's your turf. She will be ruined after me and leave your ass. Plus after me, your tool won't fit anymore laughing, laughing smiley face, laughing smiley face, laughing smiley face, laughing smiley face, laughing smiley face unquote. In December twenty twenty one, McMahon gave Miss Grant's personal cell phone number to W Superstar and promise, quote, She'll do anything unquote requested of her. In the days that followed, W Superstar revealed a fetish to Miss Grant and tested McMahon's promise that Miss Grant would do would quote do anything with the request that she send a video of herself urinating unable to recognize herself, Miss Grant went numb and obeyed. WW Superstar informed Miss Grant that if she had not complied with the request, WW Superstar would have lost any interest in her, and then called her a quote bitch. That same month, W Superstar expressed Miss Grant his desire to quote set a playdate unquote and have a sexual encounter. However, a snowstorm changed WW SuperStar's travel plans, and Miss Grant ultimately used the weather and COVID nineteen as an excuse to back out. But O. K. McMahon tells Miss Grant that his wife has learned about her and pressures Miss Grant for an NDA. In early January twenty twenty two, McMahon abruptly distanced himself from Miss Grant, saying that he could not speak to or be in the same room as her. On January ninth, twenty twenty two, McMahon agreed to speak with Miss Grant at his condo. During this meeting, McMahon told Miss Grant that his wife, Linda McMahon had learned about his relationship with Miss Grant, that he was losing his condo, and that she would divorce him. He added, too, that a public divorce would make Miss Grant a headline. Purportedly, to salvage his marriage and avoid both the negative publicity and other repercussions of a divorce, McMahon wanted to ensure that Miss Grant would remain silent about his personal misconduct in order to preserve his controlling interest in WWE. McMahon told Miss Grant that if she left WWE and signed an NDA, he was confident Linda McMahon would not divorce him, he could remain in the condo, and Miss Grant would avoid reputational harm. McMahon instructed Miss Grant that she should not go back to the office and immediately lessened her involvement on open work items. Miss Grant expressed concerns about both her name being mentioned in the media and the loss of control over her image, especially as McMahon had shared content of her for close to two years, and the ramifications for her career. McMahon suggested that he would attempt to help keep Miss Grant's reputation intact and that he or ww Corporate Officer number one would personally help Miss Grant to find another job. McMahon also instructed Miss Grant not to share this news with anyone and suggested she offer health related excuses if asked about leaving WWE. Regarding the NDA, Miss Grant asked McMahon, quote, is this when Jerry sends the papers. McMahon nodded and assured Miss Grant that they would be quote in the driver's seat unquote to iron out terms together, but she would need an attorney to make things official, and approved of Miss Grant asking Celebrity doctor for an attorney referral. Following this discussion, McMahon led Miss Grant to his bedroom for another sexual encounter. On January fourteenth, twenty twenty two, McMahon sent Miss Grant a to do list for purposes of efectuating the NDA, such as retaining counsel and also including an offer for one on one career coaching. Macmhon suggested the list had been drafted by w C Corporate Officer number two before miss Grant retained counsel, McMahon discussed the amount of money that would be exchanged for the NBA and settled on a lump sum of three million dollars after Miss Grant told McMahon his initial offer of one million dollars was not enough to compensate for the lost earning potential and the fact that she would be unable to continue the promised career trajectory a vice president, as well as failing to last as a director for a full year. Before miss Grant retained counsel, McMahon called Miss Grant with an update and informed her that McMahon's attorney and council for WWE insisted on installment payments due to quote cash flow purposes quote. When ms Grant responded that this reasoning did not make sense for a billionaire, McMahon insisted that it was not his idea. On or about January nineteenth, twenty twenty two, Ms Grant advised McMahon that she had contacted celebrity doctor about an attorney referral, and on the physician's recommendation, and upon McMahon's approval, she signed a retainer agreement with a lawyer. Later that day, on January twenty fourth, twenty twenty two. McMahon continued to engage in sexual text message exchanges with mss Grant, including encouraging her to send an explicit photo to WB Superstar. McMahon also requested miss Grant send him content she had sent to WWE Superstar. The negotiations of the NDA were brief, lasting only eight days. MS Grant reminded McMahon that the NDA ought to address people who knew about their relationship, including but not limited to, WWE Corporate Officer Number one, WW Corporate Officer number two, John Mournidis, and McMahon's personal lith sistems. Miss Grant and her attorney sought to incorporate the list of individuals who had knowledge of the relationship into a schedule A in the NDA. Miss Grant's requested revisions were flatly rejected by w mc by W McMahon, who reverted to their original draft rather than incorporate any of her proposed changes, with the exception that as of that the date of execution, Miss Grant would not speak of the relationship. On or around January twenty six, twenty twenty two, McMahon articulated even and even more, pressing need to get the NDA and signed it immediately, informing Miss Grant that he was under a tight deadline to report pending or threatened legal actions to the w Board of Directors, specifically the Audit Committee, and that McMahon and his attorney could not do so unless Miss Grant signed the NBA. He informed Miss Grant that board members were concerned about the delay. Furthermore, McMahon repeatedly pressed Miss Grant to stop her return from any further word quote wordsmithing unquote, and blamed Miss Grant's attorney for not understanding the urgency of the situation. Also, despite any previous approval, McMahon now expressed that he that both he and his attorney had concerns about Miss Grant's attorney and warned her that her counsel could not be trusted, which in turn caused Miss Grant to question her trust in her personal attorney. On or around January twenty six, twenty twenty two, Miss Grant became so overwhelmed that she asked to simply give notice without the need for a payment, even offering to sign a napkin or post it as a sign of goodwill. McMahon flatly rejected her desire to back out. On January twenty seven, twenty twenty two, just eight days before, after Miss Grant had hired an attorney, left Miss Grant a lengthy audio message explaining why they needed to go through with the NDA, pushing her to hurry up and sign the NDA and advising that he would be quote double fucked unquote if she did not, presuming presumably referring to both his divorce and report to the board of directors. Between on January twenty seventh, twenty twenty two and January twenty eighth, twenty twenty two, there were unresolved edits that led to panicked phone calls, including an attorney confidentiality clause and signatory line that Miss Grant's council said he would never sign. Also, the deadline to sign the NDA was pushed up from January thirty first to January twenty eighth, twenty twenty two. McMahon continued pressuring Miss Grant with calls during which he pleaded, demanded, threatened, and begged her to sign the NDA, and reminded her that by not signing, she would jeopardize him, the company, and his family, and that she would surely become the subject of national headlines and ruin her reputation if she did not sign the NDA by the start of w b's live programming schedule on January twenty eighth. He reassured her that nothing would change between them and she would emerge with her reputation intact if she would simply sign the NDA. In a state of mental defeat and fear for McMahon's threats, Miss Grant succumbed to his unrelenting pressure and signed the NDA just before the deadline on January twenty eighth, twenty twenty two. On February fourth, twenty twenty two, Miss Grant was wired one million dollars as the first installment of the NDA. On February twenty eighth, twenty twenty two, Miss Grant was wired ten thousand dollars to cover her attorney's fees incurred in connection with the NDA. Both wires were sent with originator described as Vincent K. McMahon w w F an originator address quote one two four to one East Main Street, Stanford, Connecticut, six ' nine o two, the United States. On February ninth and tenth, twenty twenty two, Miss Grant gave notice to Lauren Iis and put human resources at ww on official notice that she was leaving WWE. After signing the NDA, Ms Grant continued to ask about who had told them to McMahon, as she was concerned about her ability to obtain employment in the future. McMahon responded that it did not matter and that he was tired of her questions. After the NDA was signed, McMahon, wearing only a white robe, met Miss Grant in his condo to review outstanding business items. As Miss Grant was proceeding to the door to leave, Man grabbed her arm before she exited and commanded her to do quote one last thing and get quote on your knees unquote as Grant knelt. As Miss Grant knelt on the hard floor barely a few feet away from the front door, Bacman opened his robe and ordered her to quote eat him. Mcmn grabbed the back of Miss Grant's head and slammed her face into his crosh a couple of times until she until she gagged and pushed him away, telling him to stop and that she couldn't breathe. Micmn responded that she wouldn't get away that easily and held her head as he forced himself back in her mouth until she had no air. Miss Grant tried to push him away, but he held her head firmly in place and loudly commanded her to quote look up, unquote, followed by quote take it, bitch, unquote. They momentarily made on contact before McMahon's force caused Miss Grant's body to convulse and wretch, with tears streaming down her face. McMahon then released his hold and closed his robe as she stood up. After leaving, Miss Grant never saw McMahon again. On March second, twenty twenty two, while Miss Grant was away on a trip to Florida, McMahon called Miss Grant to advise that it would be probably it would probably probably be the last time that she would hear from him, and if she needed anything to contact w B Corporate Officer number one or w B Corporate Officer number two. Over the course of an approximately half hour call, McMahon lamented both his inability to focus on the upcoming WrestleMania and how his personal life had blown up over the past few weeks. Towards the end of the conversation, McMahon and Miss Grant agreed to resume contact after WrestleMania. He also instructed Miss Grant to continue having sexual relations with other men, including ww Superstar in the meantime hon or. Around March fourth, twenty twenty two, ww Superstar messaged Miss Grant that he was in New York. In line with McMahon's orders, Miss Grant texted ww Superstar explicit pictures. On March twenty seven, twenty twenty two, WWWE Superstar reached out to Miss Grant again. Miss Grant interpreted these back to back advances and as an indication of McMahon's continued control. On March thirty, twenty twenty two, Miss Grant's council received a call from McMahon's attorney advising that there had been an anonymous email about the relationship between Miss Grant and McMahon and Laurnidis. Later, in June and July twenty twenty two, stories were published regarding the matter of McMahon's multiple NDAs with various women associated with w B and others. Ms Grant did not receive another payment until her under her NDA in February of twenty twenty three. Further, despite assurances from McMahon, that he would cover her medical care and the costs associated with a with their tax liability for the one million dollar payment. McMahon has refused to cover these costs. Bcmannon continued to pay for Miss Grant's medical care until April fifteen, twenty twenty two, when it abruptly ceased gifts given to plaintiff during time with WWE and association with McMahon. From twenty nineteen until early twenty twenty two, McMahon provided Miss Grant with quote gifts to keep her under McMahon's control. Upon information and belief that gifts provided to Miss Grant included ones purchased by McMahon and expensed them to WWE. Examples of the items received by Miss Grant from McMahon twenty nineteen included the following A alternative clinical medical care and medical and cosmetic services and products. B clubhouse access, tickets to the Belmont Stakes, c russell Mania, private full day transportation and premium tickets, D A two thousand dollars nords from gift Card, and E A massive box of Godiva. Examples of items received by Miss Grant from McMahon twenty twenty included the following A twenty thousand dollars towards surgery paid directly to a surgeon's office. B pearl diamond pave lariat nexus necklace from Better Ridge in Greenwich, Connecticut. See blue cashmere knee length cardigan Nordstrom, D blue berbery check cashmere scarf Nordstrom, E blue cashmere and fur hat Nordstrom, IF gray cashmere shawl Nordstrom, G celine sunglasses Nordstrom, F cable knit throw blanket, and G large bouquet of flowers delivered approximately every other week. Examples of the items received by MS Grand from McMahon twenty twenty one included the following A twenty twenty two BMW four thirty XI, B five thousand dollars gift certificate at Land Fear SPA, C two private chef catered dinners in McMahon's condo. D gold and diamond paved paper clip necklace from Betteridge in Greenwich, Connecticut. E fifteen thousand dollars Bloomingdale's gift cards, F food assortment display and antique tea ceremonies set from Saudi Arabia, and G. Large bouquets of flowers are delivered approximately every other week three, Miss Grant was a subordinate and vulnerable victim to predators, not a consenting and willing participant. Miss Grant was groomed and coerced by McMahon. Laurniis and the w stood by and facilitated efforts to keep Miss Grant employed by w W to insure McMahon's continued sexual exploitation. In addition to what Miss Grant and her medical providers have who examined her following the abuseful testify to, there is ample other evidence of Miss Grant's mental state in her attempts to avoid the unfortunate circumstances she found herself in. In January of twenty twenty one, Miss Grant sent a message to resident manager stating that she was miserable at w W. Quote, I don't say it to Vince, but as grateful as I am from my job and my salary, I actually am miserable, mismanaged all the time. They admit they don't know what to do with me. Nobody gave of a fuck when I was harassed and retaliated against the point of my reputation was questioned and my work was taken away. As further alleged Throughout the complaint, Miss Grant was frequently referred to as McMahon's quote bitch unquote on multiple occasions, Miss Grant objected to this treatment, as alleged herein. Before Miss Grant was being routinely directed by McMahon to engage in sexual contact with other men, Miss Grant had expressed her apprehension about McMahon's fantasy texts manifesting and graduating into reality. Further, at nearly all relevant times, Miss Grant was an employee of at WW and could reasonably expect, at a minimum, to lose her position if she did not comply with the wishes of McMahon. Four McMahon controlled w during Miss Grant's employment, and the company knew but did nothing about McMahon's exploitation of Miss Grant, as detailed here in, WW knew of McMahon's illegal conduct and did nothing to stop it. This is self evident from the numerous executive level and board members who were privy to McMahon's involvement with mss Grant, as well as his prior incidents involving sexual misconduct. For instance, in or around March twenty twenty one, Miss Grant introduced yourself to WWE Corporate Officer number one when they passed one another in the hallway. WWE Corporate Officer number one responded by telling Miss Grant that WWE Corporate Officer number one knew exactly who she was. WWE Corporate Officer number one maintain an office suite on the executive fourth floor of ww's company headquarters at twelve forty one East Main Street. Meanwhile, Miss Grant's cubicle in the company's legal department was in a different building, twelve sixty six East Maine and across the street from w B Corporate Officer number one's office. Miss Grant had no physical presence at twelve forty one East Main Street until the beginning of February twenty twenty one, once she began to report to an attorney who kept an office in both buildings. Given that WWE Corporate Officer number one, a very high ranking WWE officer in Miss Grant was an entry level coordinator in the legal department, it is unusual that WWE Corporate Officer number one would know who Miss Grant was at all at that point, except WW Corporate Officer number one knew of Miss Grant at least in part by hearing about the ongoing exploitation of Miss Grant by McMahon. Following Miss Grant's messogist McMahon on March ninth, twenty twenty one, McMahon summoned Miss Grant to his condo that evening for a conversation, during which McMahon confirmed that w TOW Corporate Officer number one indeed to exactly who she was, as McMahon had met privately with the WWE Corporate Officer Number one and WWE Corporate Officer number two and advised these individuals of McMahon's connection to Miss Grant. McMann continued this conversation by detailing to Miss Grant that they had expressed concern but were ultimately supportive. McMahon also advised Miss Grant that one or both of w Corporate Officer number one and or ww Corporate Officer number two inquired whether Miss Grant could be trusted, and then McMahon offered assurances that Ms Grant would not do something to hurt the WWE. Knowledge on the part of WE is further illustrated by the multiple meetings Miss Grant had about initial hiring and subsequent position changes, including a number of such meetings with the WWE Corporate Officer number two. In a voice memo McMann sent Miss Grant the following morning on March tenth, mentioning the names of both a WWE Corporate Officer number one and WWB Corporate Officer number two in connection with the new role. As unusual for the executive chairman and CEO to name drop two of the company's highest ranking officers in connection with the coordinator's first job of promotion, especially as there are human resource partners assigned to each department. WB Corporate Officer number four was a high ranking legal department employee at ww until around November twenty twenty. Upon information and belief, w B Corporate Officer number four was terminated or asked to resign from w B Corporate Officer number four's post at WWE. McMann expressed to Miss Grant that WBE Corporate Officer number four, while still employed at ww knew or highly suspected that a sexual relationship existed between McMahon and Miss Grant. Upon information and belief, WB Corporate Officer number four articulated to WB Corporate Officer number four's knowledge and or suspicion to at least one other executive knowledge on the part of WWE is further illustrated by the fact that Miss Grant's presence became more visible over time, including during executive committee meetings which were attended by individuals who had either direct knowledge of McMahon's sexual exploitation of Miss Grant or were otherwise suspicious. Given Miss Grant's length of employment and job title, it was an abnormal sign of different and special treatment for her to attend such meetings, especially when the executive head of the department, Lourinidas, was in attendance as well. Not Miss Grant inquired with both w B Corporate Officer number one and WWE Corporate Officer number two about whether it was appropriate for her to attend these meetings. Additionally, WB Corporate Officer number three, another high ranking WWE official and member of the w B Board of Directors at the time of Miss Grant's employment with the WWE mens, motioned for Miss Grant to sit in a chair near WB Corporate Officer number three at the boardroom table during one of the meetings. Upon information and belief, WB Corporate Officer number three knew of other instances and McMahon engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct. Upon information and belief, numerous other Independent Contractors employees, as well as executives and or board members within WW, new of or suspected McMahon's misconduct involving Miss Grant, including being shown explicit photos of Miss Grant by McMahon. Mcman directed a single attorney to negotiate the NDA on behalf of WB and McMahon, both parties to the agreement. McMahon's abuse of Miss Grant did not come as a surprise to anyone at w B because he had faced numerous prior accusations of sexual misconduct, including a In nineteen ninety four, former WW referee read to Chatterton the letters that McMahon had raped her after luring her into a limousine to discuss her career. She recounted for New York Magazine quote, I was forced into oral sex with missic Mah when I couldn't complete his desires. He got really angry, started ripping off my genes, pulled me on top of him, and told me again that if I wanted a half a million dollar a year contract that I had to satisfy him. He could make me or break me and if I didn't satisfy him, I was black bald. That was it. I was done. In February two thousand and six, The Bomb Beach Post reported that McMahon had shown nude pictures of himself to a tanning booth attendant at Tanzibar in Boca Braton, Florida, and subsequently made unwelcome advances and finally cornered her in a tanning booth and groped her see A former SPA manager at a California resort accused McMahon of assault at the resort in twenty eleven. To further illustrate knowledge of the culture of sexual misconduct at ME to be topic level executives not only failed to properly investigate abuse, but also compounded Miss Grant's suffering by making public statements that trivialized the harm perpetrated upon her. These are just a few examples as to how the ww and its most senior officials knew about and fostered a culture where the venture of harassment and sexual exploitation of women was tolerated to further the business and financial interests of the WWE, Given, among other things, the history of misconduct involving other women, the notice provided by McMahon to senior leadership at w B brumors about the relationship within w B headquarters, the widespread sharing of Miss Grant's pictures, including her face, to those inside the company by McMahon, the atypical hiring of Miss Grant, and the atypical advancement of Miss Grant within WWE. WWE clearly knew of McMahon's misconduct involving Miss Grant, and or recklessly disregarded facts available to them. Five circumstances surrounding the NDA, it's invalidity and McMahon and WB's disregard for the NDA, as detailed here in the NDA signed by Miss Grant, McMahon and WB, was entered into through course of tactics, and it is legally unenforceable pursuing to federal statute and common law. Exhibit A attached here too, is a true and accurate copy of the NDA. The NDA violates, violates the Speaks Out Act, and is thus unenforceable. The NDA is also void and unenforceable because the confidentiality term a core term, is overly broad. On its face. As written, it would prevent Miss Grant from saying anything to anyone about WWE or her employment there, which of course she would need to apply to do to apply for a job, for example, let alone exposing McMahon and others sexual assaults and abuse of Miss Grant. The NDAs that McMahon has used to silence other women may be equally unenforceable if the same language was used. Miss Grant was moreover coerced in designing the NDA merely eight days after she first spoke to an attorney, an attorney whom McMahon initially approved of and then cautioned Miss Grant against trusting before she was railroaded into rejecting all of her own attorney's comments. This occurred because of relentless pressure, including implicit and explicit threats, by McMahon. The NDA did not even include basic terms she was promised by McMahon, including that she that he would pay for her lawyers, medical care, and taxes regardless even if it were enforceable. McMahon has breached a core term of the NBA. He paid one million dollars but failed to make any further payments, including the installment of five hundred thousand that was to be paid within ten days of February first, twenty twenty three, under Section VB of the agreement Section five B of the Agreement. Furthermore, circumstances have changed in that Miss Grant's name has now been publicly released through no fault of her own, which impacts employment prospects and has led to further trauma and humiliation six Miss Grant's life after this abuse and resulting damages as detailed herein, Miss Grant was exploited during her time of employment with WE was subjected to countless depraved and humiliating acts, which has led to severe and permanent trauma. She has been further traumatized by having to relieve these experiences when giving evidence to the government in connection with their investigations of w W. Indeed, Miss Grant's trauma and ongoing fears of additional retaliation was so severe that she required extended inpatient treatment. Today, she lives with so much anxiety and depression that she is unable to leave her residence for weeks at a time out of fear and PTSD. Due to this trauma and inability to leave her home, Miss Grant was terminated from employment on January twenty seventh, to twenty twenty three, where she lost not only her dream job of managing her building, but the only job she could procure without the need for any references. Miss Grant's lost in MISS eighty thousand dollars per year. The severe restrictions of the NDA have created a wedge in all of Miss Grant's relationships and left her in a perpetual state of isolation as her family has passed away and she cannot and does not lean on the support of the community due to the NDA's restrictions. Further, Miss Grant has experienced weight loss, insomnia, rashes, flashbacks to her exploitation, nightmares, panic attacks, and depression. Caut of action Count one declatory relief NDA voided under Speak Out Act forty two USC. One nine four oh one against McMahon and WWE plaintiff incorporates paragraphs one through two seventy as if fully stated herein the nda attached as Exhibit A, was entered into on January twenty eighth, twenty twenty two. The Speak Out Act forty two USC. One nine four oh one was enacted on December seventh nine December seventh, twenty twenty two. End quote applies with respect to a claim that is filed under federal, state, or tribal law on or after December seventh, twenty twenty two. The Speakout Act defines a quote sexual assault dispute as quote, a dispute involving a non consensus sensual sexual act or sexual contact as such terms are defined in Section twenty two to forty six of Title eighteen or similar applicable tribal or state law, including when the victim lacks capacity to consent onuote, and a quote Sexual harassment dispute unquote as quote a dispute relating to conduct that is alleged to constitute sexual harassment under applicable federal, tribal or state law unquote. They Speak Out Act provides that quote with respect to a sexual assault dispute or sexual harassment dispute no non disclosure clause or non disparagement clause agreed to before the dispute arises shall be judicially unenforceable in instances in which conduct is alleged to have violated federal, tribal, or state law unquote. The allegations herein include sexual harassment in a salt disputes is defined by the Speak Out Act, and the NDA seeks to bar the claims brought here in because the claims themselves can constitute the dispute as of the date of this complaint filing, then, pursuant to the Speak Out Act, the core term of the NBA, and thus the NDA itself is judicially unenforceable and plaintiff is entitled to declaratory judgment. Count two declatory relief NDA voided under common law against McMahon and WWE plaintiff incorporates paragraphs one through two twenties two seventy seven. As if fully stated herein, the NDA appearing at Exhibit A is void and unenforceable pursuant to Connecticut common law for at least five reasons. First, the scope of the NDA, including the confidentiality provision, is impermissively broad. It provides miss grant will not quote, disclose, discuss, or reveal any claims against or information about McMahon, her relationship with McMahon, WWE, or any employees or independent contractors of WW, to third parties on social media, in any public forum, or to any member of the media. Emphasis added read literally, this would prevent her from disclosing the mere fact she worked for WW in an interview or on her resume. Further quote, confidential information was not defined and thus is overbroad, particularly in light of information that has since become public knowledge. There cannot have been a meeting of the minds on the overly broad confidentiality provision. Secondly, the NDA is invalid in that Miss Grant entered into the contract under duress an undue influence. As detailed herein there was a drastic power difference in economic disparity. Miss Grant, who had never held a paying office job in her life to caretaking for her parents, was up against McMahon and WWE, titans of the wrestling and entertainment worlds. The emotional and mental abuse and trauma endured by Miss Grant further compounded this disparity such that Miss Grant felt like she did not have a real say or choice in the matter. McMahon also exerted relentless pressure on Miss Grant. As but one example, McMahon left her an extensive voice memo shortly before the NDA was signed, wherein he emphasized the public nature of the WWE and the consequences that could result if the NDA was not signed before an audit committee convened. Third, the NDA is a contract of adhesion. There was no meaningful choice for Miss Grant. Proposed revisions by Miss Grant's attorney were consistently and ultimately rejected by McMahon's attorney, and during that time McMahon and was pressuring Miss Grant to sign the agreement. Fourth, the NDA is substant substantively unconscionable in that it is clearly one sided. For example, the non disparagement provision only applies to Miss Grant and not to McMahon or the WWE. Further, although she was slated to receive a million dollars and two million dollars in a stallments of five hundred thousand dollars over the years, Ms Grant also gave up her job at w as a result of this agreement. Plainmiff's compensation is also out of line with what similarly situated individuals have received. The agreement is even more one sided with the respect of the WWE, because only McMahon is responsible for payments. The w's only obligations are not to assume Miss Grant and to write a favorable letter of recommendation to a future employer upon request. Notably, however, for the terms of the NBA, that letter would come from now fired, disgraced formal employee defendant Laurinidis, who raped and sexually assaulted Miss Grant. Fifth, the NDA is void as against public policy. The NDA purports to silence the victim of unlawful sexual abuse and prevent her from taking steps to protect other women at WWE. The policies at issue include those that were the impetus for the Speaks Out Act. Under Connecticut law, the courts will not blue pencil contracts where the unreasonable provision forms the heart of an agreement, such as here, where the non disclosure provision forms the heart of the contract. Thus, the entirety of the NBA must be deemed void and unenforceable. Even if the confidentiality term were the only invalid term. It is not. The NDA has in any event been breached by McMahon on the WWE, and that Miss grand did not receive a second payment of five hundred thousand dollars within ten days of February first, twenty twenty three.
