Wrestling Figure podcasts, rich rich history, and I put it all together for
new and old Major marks to enjoy. I am your host as always,
Jay George, and this week we got yet another jam packed episode. He
he he You ja weekly purchases from episode forty, which also includes some gems,
including an ambush on Mark Sterling. We got the debut of sorts of
TTD on the podcast, the first time the boys meet the man behind the
art, and then we got a special little sampler of what you could expect
on the Patreon bonus episodes. This is one of the first bonus Q and
a pod clips. Well, no, this is not the clip. This
is the clip of an episode of a Q and a special bonus. The
boys get in. There's a lot of fun questions and as always, the
boys are always prophesizing and talking about things that were at one point nonfiction that
become where or they are fiction and then they become nonfiction. It comes.
They watch things into reality. That's it. Enjoy the show. A major
WF pod is where the big boys play. We haven't said that in a
while, Matthew. Yeah, I was gonna hit you with We're right here
where it all begins again. Oh you like that. We are in your
your home, home, your cossa, where the pop the pod originated.
That's right right in my playroom, which is kind of right now. We're
going strong. It's now May. I haven't missed a week. Smart Mark
told us that the death of a podcast is to miss a week. Speaking
of smart Mark, and we haven't missed a week. We needed to you
know, he's our editor producer. We needed to talk to him before recording
the pod, you know, because we wanted to go over some things.
But he didn't get back to our text. I said, we can McCall
right now so he would happen, right, let's get him a live call.
I also invited him over my house and he blew us wow, you
button me few button. Basically, folks, game with ownes is on right
now, is not answering us. He blew us off didn't come over to
hang out. I guess game it's more important than the major. Luckily VSK
answered the call. He came and hung out with us for a little bit.
I mean, I live in Orlando album really yeah, on the island.
This isn't a simple occasion. You would think it's a rare occasion.
Would want to hang out with his h his bosses and his friends. But
apparently not like more. You know what, maybe he's not watching Game of
Thrones. Maybe he's shaving his silver balls. Yesh, you don't think so.
It's possible, but we know he's watching a Game of Thrones. I
just wanted to get a silver balls joke. All right, I got a
lot of good housekeeping, how about you? Okay, man, not too
much, guys, As always, YouTube dot Com, slash Major, WF
Pod. We're trying to get to thirty thousand subscribers. We're almost there,
and when we get there, we will give you guys a free bonus podcast
episode. We've been dropping so many videos on then Major w Pod YouTube channel
thanks to smart Mark. I'm not gonna bust the silver Balls the whole episode
silver Ball. You can only take so much bust his silver balls off and
these things we have the I have a couple things planned too that I would
like to get to. You know, obviously we've been away in the UK
on the tour um so I have things in my back pocket that hopefully I
get filmed this week, So stay tuned. We put up the first live
Major Pod behind the scenes and it really gives you guys a glimpse into what
we do to make these shows work. And I thought it was very well
done. I watched it like three or four times. Yeah, I cried
one night. I cried, but I just watched it. I just saw
Maven I got h honestly, can't say enough nice things about it, and
I just I want to say, I highly recommend going out of your way
to watch it. Umca, this is cool. It's a unique look into
what goes on with this show and behind the scenes stuff, and it's a
lot of fun and it's my favorite video that's ever been uploaded to our YouTube.
It was my favorite until a couple days later when we uploaded the Toy
Department Man, which I think is the best thing we've ever put up.
I didn't realize how great it was because we're there just shopping for toys.
I guess it's real life. I guess every time we shop for toys.
We should film something like that every time. But if we know something could
happen, that's special. But we didn't. I had no No one knew
you were gonna do that. I know, a real life breakdown. We
caught on film and it's a longer video and people still love it. Yeah,
I was watching it in the twenty minutes flew by. You will get
captivated by absolute no way what's going on here. But also, guys,
a couple of weeks ago, we're also very sick from the UK. Also,
guys, we understand Hercules wore that ljut we get it. Okay,
we know I said I had no childhood memories, right, we just said,
like the chain swinging Hercules is more iconic. Yeah, people like Okay,
now I have too many pictures of Hercules in that out. Yeah.
Yeah, we've seen a training car. Now we've seen it. Yes,
piper Spit segment. A lot of people send me the piper Spit segment,
Wildcat Belts and tugboat. Guy Bull sent me that Hercules card and then w
w F old School Collector on Instagram he sent me an official eight by ten
of Hercules and that that was the most impressive thing. I'll give that guy
that. Yes, yeah, so guys, because I believe we'd even said,
like I don't even recall like a studio photo of him, like yes,
he wore that. We know he wore it. We were just saying
like that wasn't the most iconic version to us, but for the time period
it works considering it's his only action figure ever. But enough Hercules, jeez,
unless unless Bill wants to make us a real goddamn Hercules, I would
love that. Um Okay, guys, this is um breaking news. Um
Mark the Bushman Bushy. Did you see he finally took a new picture?
Yo? Insane? First of all, Hey, he's got a cat and
he's like doctor Evil, and I know that he loves his rhythm and blues
right the hammer Valentine that I sold him, But he doesn't need to have
like the hockey talk man Cidebirds. He's trying to be his partner. What's
he trying to do. He's trying to ride a Cadillac. Rattle and Bush
He's trying to ride a Cadillac. Oh my god. Around where he's from
him he's selling things. He's putting up cool he's whaling dealing, he's putting
up some cool stuff. We actually had uh last week. He put up
those towels like Summer of ninety five WWF towels that like I have very very
very very vague memories. I remember them. It's like Brett hard on a
towel, like just not like in like ring gears. That's what makes them
unique, Suit Razor. But he sold them for big money and then they
came up one day on a tour and catering and we were like showing people
and people were like, what like of the guys in the background, Like,
I don't. Yeah. Bushman is always getting, He's got he's got
unique items. And actually there's plenty more Bushman talk to come on this episode.
All right, So we like we said we were in the United Kingdom
last week. We're also in uh France for a day I went to Disneyland
Paris. Thank you, Mike Rome. We're not gonna talk about that.
I just want to give a shot to Mike Rome. What was there talking
about? You were there for ten minutes. I was about four to five
minutes. It did one ride. I'm gonna go back anyway. So most
of the tour was in the UK and we did a signing in the UK
at the Entertainer. The Entertainer we filmed that for a vlog that's gonna be
up shortly, and uh, that was cool meeting all our UK fans.
But it was really cool meeting the one and only TTD Wrestling. Yeah,
baby, um this guy he designs a lot of our merch a lot of
our logos, designed our wrestle maniac gear. So it was cool to finally
meet him in person and uh say thank you, and and and his kids
were there. We gave him, you know, pictures of the take team
titles and it was cool to give back because he helps us out so much.
So tt D, if you're listening, which I know you are,
to your major mark, thank you very much real quick. You know.
Our signing was in Birmingham and we met tt D in Wales. It was
two different days, right, But I said the UK's segue horrible segue.
But I would also like to chime in and say that TTD has been a
lifesaver and he's absolutely ridiculously talented, and he's uh we owe him a lot.
So it's cool to finally meet him and say thank you in person,
and uh, I hope he enjoyed a w live events. Yes, all
right, guys, let's go to the weekly purchases. Some might cost a
little, some might cost a lot, but I'm the thousand dollar browski and
your figures will be bought. Okay. As we alluded to in the housekeeping
segment, it's tough sometimes the boredom and the downtime on these trips, and
I found myself ebaying, like like just NonStop. I mean I was definitely
on eBay a lot. Luckily I didn't make a lot of purchases. I
just made two purchases. Well I made three, but one we'll talk about
next week. Okay. One of them is kind of like a WPF purchase,
and the other one is like a WF you bought that, like you
spent that much money purchase. So two cool purchases, but I'll let you
start since it looks like you probably got a lot of things. Okay,
the man of the hour we've already named dropped them way too much on here,
Mark Sterling, Mark Bushy, oh slid into my DMS. He said,
I have something you might be interested in, a sample that's right here.
I wanted to show you. I wanted to do this together. I
haven't even ziplock. I haven't even looked at I haven't opened this yet.
So that's a Bushy ziplock. Yes, Mark Bushy put it in the ziplock.
So basically it's a nineteen ninety nine and two thousand and what do you
want to call it? Rhino ECW figure. But it's the sample piece,
so it has like a couple like notes written on it in sharpie. Bush
quoted me at a fair price, so I thought I thought it was worth
the gamble. And I did a couple of Google searches of the rhino figure
and it's a Champion Clashes rhino just to clarify, and did some comparisons to
it. From the naked eye. I thought there was enough meat on the
bone for me to take a bite on this, so I purchased it from
him, so we have a regular rhino. So now what I'm gonna do
right now is walking to my playroom and go get my regular rhinos and we're
gonna do this together. I mean, you could have got him like five
minutes ago. It could have been waiting for us. So I'm just looking
at this rhino right now now. To me, it looks it looks like
the regular release. There is like some sort of like note written like in
sharpie. Oh it says okay. It looks like it says like okay,
and then like the date. Maybe, Oh God, I've got an improv
baby. Uh no, I'll just keep talking. Um, you know,
I'm gonna try do I'm gonna try to call it smart Mark again. CB
picks up. Oh my god, Mark, another fu, another fu from
smart Mark, Sterling, Mark, I don't understand. I thought I thought
you'd want to hang out with me, the Michael Jordan of wrestling for your
collecting. You gave me that nickname. And I'm here back on Long Island.
I'm home. I'm hoping to see you, Mark. And what do
you do? What do you do you think that you think the game with
Thrones is more important than the major W Potter. You are you serious?
Bro? And then I call you not once or twice and you fu button
me. I thought we were tight. I thought we were broskies. But
apparently not. Apparently not Mark. You really break my heart, you really
do. Oh here he is mad beast. All right, Terrence is here,
Terrence grin for mayor. All right, I have the act yard.
I've bought this figure at Toys r US and uh call place. That's your
original one? Is my original one. I've never part of the way as
you guys. Okay, So, first of all, these figures are so
um amazing. I love them. I love the the eyebrowp persing, Yeah,
has it here? So what I noticed on the Google images the goat
is like it's got a little like it's Spiky's a little bit more detail in
the sample one, if you will a little bit um. And then what
I also thought when I got to see now is I thought that that rhino
text look hand painted are very different. What do you think, uh toimy,
I think Bushman got me. There's something I've noted. Oh, you're
gonna hate me right out. Why there's something I've noticed on your figure?
My good you're a good one and you might be a little upset. What
okay, the ring finger of rhino. I'm on the prototype painted black with
black paint. Your left hand painted black, your right hand unpainted. So
do you have an error? Do you have like a factor error? Now
you're saying that, I think it isn't. Oh my god, let me
see. But it's molded on. Yeah. Oh no, my childhood rhino.
It's over, brother Terence. No, I'm gonna look it up right
now. Looks first of all, everything looks different, like the paint.
It just looks different, but like not, It's like different in a way
I can't describe. I'm looking at it at a Champion Clashes Rhino on the
internet. It should have the painted finger. No, it has to be
replaced. You can get another one to buy it now live What what are
you looking on on? McCary? Oh you finally learned how to say that.
So I'm looking now, So you think this is worth keeping? I
don't think. I told Bushman, I don't think I'm going to display it,
but I felt like as as a ECW guy and the guy who has
everything, he's definitely worth keeping. Like also look like the hair is a
little glossier on the proto. Even the reds like they're different reds, and
the singles slightly different. Yeah, I'm trying to see any other subtle differences.
It's tough, right. The hair. Something about that looks like one
hair shiny. One's kind of matt It's strange. Yeah, I mean it's
definitely some sort of pre production. It is what it is. It's not
like some little kids scribbled on his hip. Yeah, it's definitely some sort
of pre production. The action doesn't disaction work on that one, Nope,
Oh yeah yeah, yeah, but yeah it's cool purchase helping to buy it
for much No, but enough that I was like, okay, why you
disclose that for us? I don't think Bushman wants me to do that.
Okay, we all do that. Uh God, I can have to re
buy that figure I've had for twenty years. Okay. Bush Man also sent
me some gifts for you. Bush told me to surprise you live in the
show. So that's what I'm doing here now. Okay. The first one
is this. I took it out of the bag. Yeah, it's a
macho man. Randy Savage nineteen ninety two, Thermis sippy cup. Sippy cup
straw looks like it. That's pretty cool. Yeah, this is a really
cool bush man. Thank you so much. And I have to hand wash
that or something. Let the straw go the dishwasher, but hand wash the
cup. I don't know where mark that straw? Who knows after that cat
picture? Who knows what goes on? Bush This is great, it's really
cool. That was part one. This is part two. I couldn't even
creep to see what it was. And it's just for me. Yeah,
and it's look what does that say? Zachkay? Thank you? But it
was sealed so I couldn't even creep on in envelope very light, it's very
light. Whatever it is, I'm reaching aside. It's like some sort of
paper sealed. I have no older piece of paper. That bush man.
It is an eighty. I'm going on the ground for that Mark. How
did you even how did you even print that out? What the bush bad?
That sign it says, do the Bichael Jordan of Wrestling figure collecting Zach
Ryder keep scratching that edge from mark the bush bad bushy? Oh my god,
this picture, oh my god, legendary. We've we've raised his status
to like, there's no coming. Oh my god, we need have a
T shirt of the Bush of man Man. Oh thanks, Bushy. I
really, from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate that. Incredible,
incredible. Um, can I go for purchase? Sure? Okay, I
think we call it up. Yeah, you do it again. My phone's
freezing. Your what's the bush? Harry silver Bush the guy who didn't try
to call him again and button I could hear it. Oh baby, that's
all right. I think it was. On last week's episode, I talked
about how I'm trying to get some w W E c W figures guys that
worked with the one Legged Brosky. Are you gonna tell the real story about
this? How you woke up the bullet and I just sent me pictures of
who I worked and figures. I don't know why, but that like triggered
me. It literally triggered me. Last week, I was you said it,
you said what you said, you said the clarifications of the people to
be a part of this collection. And I went back to my room.
I don't know why. I just wouldn't leave beat and I just started googling
exact rider U CW, this person that like and I could just reverses and
I could say, and there's so many guys, there's really not that Mattel
has have made in some kind of representation that you would need. So you
convinced me I do need that gold dust? What did that? Elite series
three, that is Elite six gold Elite six, I need that gold dust.
If someone wants to be trace together week, I really need that gold
dust. Not easy to come buy any more, great, don't tell him
that, guys, I'm trying to trace. I'm just saying, but one
thing that you did gives me to buy, and I cannot believe I bought
this. I bought Basic Series seven, Yoshi TATSI need that. Though I
absolutely need that, I do definitely need it. Um So, I got
that, um So. I think that's that's pretty much all I really need.
You were trying to convince me that I needed a Mark Henry. I
found pictures of Mark Ry, and that's raw. After that's raw. After
you had one leg a tight, So that's that. And then you show
me a picture over Kane. But Kane wasn't on ECWS time. He's coming
over from like raw smating still happened. I think Broski needs an Elite series
four Kane hit him up. I mean, if you have that, maybe,
but really I do that gold dust uh, and I get the Yoshi
Tatsu the gold does. I don't think there's anyone else I would need.
Um, that's that's it. I think maybe a Rosamendez No no, no,
no, totally different, totally different era. Right maybe, Um what
else did you get? All right? We can keep going? Uh.
David c Anderson has been a little blessing creep into my d MS as well,
because he's been trying to help me piece together this Brian Pillman men on
card collection, which is down to just the UK Pillman. Right. Um,
obviously I have alert set so like you would think, I don't need
help as far as eBay goes, you know, he's reaching out to like
other collectors and Facebook groups and things like that. He's doing a legwork like
that. Um, so he hits here, he goes one just popped up
any bad looking at my saved things? Not there? It was under like
Brian Pillman, WW figure no no galoob in the headline. But wouldn't it
still come up? I have Pillman, Galoob saved Pilman ww pillman figure too
many things. So I was like, oh, wow, so it but
so that sounds like the seller didn't know what he had. But the seller
knew what he had. It was pretty expensive and from Japan. Wow,
so it had a best offer on it, so obviously I put in the
best offering. Was It's just not fun for me to just so I'm messaging
with David Anderson. He goes, oh, it's there, blah blah blah.
So cool. I put it in the best offer and he goes,
I wouldn't do that, Like I'm familiar with the seller. He like,
he doesn't really take offers and it's just there and he pulls things down and
they're not up anymore and play games and stuff. So you like basically spooked
me, like pretty bad. So I'm like, oh my god, script
and I just bought it now, Oh my god. Yeah, just to
end it. So my film and collection is complete, every single Brian filming
figure, min on card. I'm very proud to say that. And except
for the King of the Ring, I got it. Oh, we we
discussed this. David Jameson found that on Amazon for a fairly affordable price.
Well congratulations, and it came unreal mab case fresh, so uh yeah,
shout out to him for that help Scie on that one. And it feels
good to complete a collection. Okay, speaking of completing a collection, Um,
I'm not going to complete my Awa Remco collection. I'm not gonna do
it with the high spuz. A couple of months ago we've discussed it.
I bought a couple of them, posted an a to a Remco commercial today
toy it was commercial, I had not I had no memories. Yeah that
too, but it was figures. But I decided, and I guess never
say never, but I'm not going to complete the Awa collection. There's too
many guys and putoscolosure. I didn't grow up in the Awa. There's no
like nostalgic uh memories for me. But I am gonna have some nothing sentimental
to really pull you in. But some of the figures are too damn cool,
and some of them are of guys that I did grow up watching.
So I'm gonna build a little collection. And you can't have a WA figures
without an Awa ring, no way. And it's been in my saved listings
for a while and there's so many Lucy's up there and the AWA ring is
very very interesting because like it's like a cardboard wood kind of material with a
fabric ring apron. Where did we see it? And they still had some
store a store and Fresno, Yes, and then you ended up not getting
it's one of the poles were like super glued. Yeah, but that was
I can't I can't recall handling it. Yeah, I've seen it, and
I guess I just didn't realize what it really entailed, right, so I
knew. And also there's a lot of like repro um like basis of the
ring and repro ropes, like if I get this ring, it's gotta be
in box baby. Yeah. And I guess there's like two versions of the
ring. There's like the regular one with like the gray canvas, and then
there's like the one the red campas that's like the steel cage one, but
I wanted the regular one. And one popped up on eBay and have you
set saved this since that day? Okay? And one that's been months right,
one popped up on eBay and uh it is bro It's I don't have
this in hand yet, full disclosure, but it is the Away All Star
Wrestling UM Battle Royal place it with the gift set. It's the gift set,
so it has has seven figures with it. It's not sealed, is
it? It's sealed? What did you favor this? So? Now I
guess there's two versions of this, But the version I have, uh or
we'll have comes with Rick Martzel, the Fabulous Ones, Baron von Rashki.
Um, who else it come with? Let me see here, Lars a
bisco Ric flair and the referee. So some of things already have like already
has the bisco Y flair. I don't know. I don't honestly, I'm
a little naive to these figures, so I don't know these are the versions
I have. I wonder if Cone needs the ref and we'll definitely need the
refer he's not getting it. I just wondering, Um, so was this
ring? This is dumb? I can't believe I'm asking me something, Michael
Jordan. Was this release without the battle oil? I believe? So I'm
sure it was. It had to be right, Yeah, But I figure
this one that comes with just Mark Tell and somebody. I don't know,
but there's definitely a battle row where it comes with other seven guys so m
I got this. It is sealed nineteen eighty five Remco ring. This was
another situation where he had the best offer and I kept going and it was
like the automatic declines, the automatic declines, and automatic decline is like okay,
this person's not playing ball at all. So you're like, okay,
So I think the price was around like that just goes how much I paid
Michael Jordanyey as well. Yeah, sure, so it was around like I
don't quote me on eppisode onund like thirteen hundred bucks. So I think I
first started like seven fifty automatic decline. Then I went to like maybe like
nine hundred automatic decline. I'm like, and I think I only had like
one more left. I hate that's scary too when we get to that point.
Yeah, that two. But I wasn't sure. So it's like,
you know what this this mother effort? Um? Oh wow, you just
told me a picture of the A W A Ring without the figures. Yeah,
that's crazy. So you're kind of there was the cage version, there's
this version, and at least two Battle Royal versions. Yeah. Um so
in a way, so I'm like, this mother effort probably has like uh,
well not even, um, not even like play with bids under a
thousand bucks, you know exactly. So I went into a thousand bucks and
one dollar accepted. Oh my god, I'm your last one. Yeah,
I think I might have had one more left, but I went into a
thousand and one, So I'm a thousand dollars one. Broski, what's first
of all, listen all that piss me off? If it's been a thousand
bucks, you can judge me. Twenty nine five shipping, yeah, come
on yeah yeah yeah ah sorry twenty fifth shipping, but still still um getting
this in the mail, and I'm gonna let this baby breathe because I want
to build that ring. Guys, there is not a Champion Clashers Rhino on
eBay. Um, if you want to be if you have that mint on
card, do you want to be trades together week? Because bros get a
point at a twenty year old flaw in my childhood rhino figure. Thanks a
lot. And honestly, I don't know if I overpaid for this ring or
not, because there there so don't think that price didn't surprise. There's so
a few of far between. There was no I was just sold listings.
There was nothing, so they don't pop up that off. And I mean
you've clearly you've been watching it for at least three to four months. And
there there's a cage match like Mint in Box, but it's like way too
much money. It's like I think it's like two thousand bucks on there.
Really, yeah, I can start right now. Actually, um yeah,
I think it's like two thousand bucks. And those user I mean you think
about like LJN's and Hasbro's becoming extinct. These have cloth clothing, like they're
really like gonna be extinct soon or later. And even even the ring it's
it's cloth, it's fabric canvas and yeah, exactly. Yeah, so it's
really really hard to find these in tip top shape. Um yeah, look,
there's a the Cage play set two thousand and five hundred fifty dollars best
Offer, no Way and Steal Seal Seal. That's cool though, it's cool,
but come on, not that cool. And there's one loose cage match
two thousand dollars. Whoa. I mean, if you really wanted that badly,
I spend the show five Yeah. Yeah, no other rings available,
so I got that and that is a that's it for Weekly purchases for me.
I have another story. Last week I disclosed that my Ljan collection was
down to the final ten. Yeah, it's the final nine. And I
don't know how this happened because I had just dealt with Zoro Mendez, the
Aljan Whisper, and I said, hey, this is my ten, this
is who I need. He said, okay. I bought the or before
it was ten. It was whatever, down to thirteen fourteen. I bought
the Billy Jack from him and the Warrior right. And then this week I
think it was you and the bus. You go, do you have this?
And I go no, and it was he just posted on Instagram this
beautiful cocoa. Beware. I went, dude, I wrote on the post,
dude, what do you do? What? And uh, we worked
it out and he sent me that coco. It's like unreal mint out of
the body. I just saw it'sco and Frankie, which how about there's Since
I've been searching this so much, there's repro Frankie's on Facebook, eBay.
Wow, and it says in the title but still still scary, right.
There was a bunch of repro lj N accessories that saying the title on the
eBay that they are. I was just in my parents' house and I went
through my old L. James. Those the only childhood figures I kept um
And it's surprising, like how many of the accessories I did still have.
Frankie was one of them, and I still have, like the snake dam
it all chewed up I had. This is the best one that I saw.
I had the hockey talk Man guitar, like were you what's it called?
You? Like we tune it at the top. Things Those were all
like chewed off when I was a kid. I was a kid. Still
they're like my baby toys. But the best part, the best part about
this is on the back of that guitar in Penn, I wrote don't piss
me Off. I used to use it for the Jeff Jared Yeah Big.
Also in Zoro's package with some more gifts. It seems to be the trend
here. So I'm gonna slide these two over to you right now for you
to wow. You're gonna have to describe, Okay. One of them is
one of these lj and stands I was talking about that's definitely made with a
three D printer. I could just tell by the quality of it right?
What he doesn't sell stands, does he? I have no idea a distributor
of stands. I don't know. He just told me, Hey, there's
some extra stuff in there. This is cool. There's a white one.
So are you gonna have this for something? No? I don't want it.
No, I was gonna give it a cone to put its standard referee.
I do that. There looks like a wide stand. If not gonna
fit, yeah, I don't have to reference fit on there. He put
one foot in and then hope he maybe these are very cool. It's a
white one. The real LJAN stands. As we talked about LJN stand guy
on Instagram. I don't know if that's where you got this one from.
It's still very cool, thank you. Speaking of cone in these stands,
he like kind of, oh, trying to call me out, try to
call us out about these. He's like, I remember going to the store
the first day these came out and there were no stands. And do you
believe him, because I mean, it happens all the time on here,
Like I have vivid memories sometimes of going to the store and getting something and
where I was and what happened because we're just right right there. There are
versions of the original five without stands, but then there are versions with stands.
You know, then this is not very common knowledge. And I didn't
know about the stands until like probably when I told you about him a couple
of years ago. Yeah, that's I was like, wait, I didn't
have anything even when I a couple weeks ago when this came up and I
Google searched, like on the air, it took a while to even find
like images. Yeah, and the other gift is a zero Mendez pops.
So I think officially, if he's got pop sockets, we need pop sockets.
That's ridiculous. I can't believe this. He's branding. That's branding right
there. So I feel like, glue this onto my phone? Came Oh,
it's a sticker. It comes off right off and on that way,
Like if you don't like where it is, you can just peel it and
do it again. Should I really put this on my phone? Sure?
Where do you put it? Like? Everyone's different, is what command explained
to me. Like mine is almost dead center, but a little bit lower
because I have the eight plus or whatever, it's a bigger screen. Will
it come off if I put in the wrong spot. I just said that
it's a stick or so you can read it's purposely. It's sticky enough to
stay. But if you don't like where it is, you just yank on
it comes. Yeah, you're a sick of you. You're sick. Rewind
that you're talking about bill watches of nxdches different. Yank and it comes.
I drew the line. I was walking on it. You just crossed the
line. I don't think so you're laying it. I'm pretty thick. Oh
my god, oh my god. All right, so I'll put on this
pop side. Get this Zoras pop socket. Um, I'll tell you what
another thing from our trip now that, like I said, all the downtime,
I was on my phone so much, I'm full blown, like I'm
into the pop socket thing. It's just easier. Yeah, if you want
to do that the tripe, I think I'll like kick it to the side
or something a little bit more. Take a picture of me holding the pop
socket. I'll tag him and it'll be all excited. Thanks. Or I'm
gonna keep this on my phone until it falls off. Cabanas kind of work
cheap. Get some pop sockets for us I'm gonna do it now, all
right? What else we be on weekly purchases? Oh? The main event?
Oh yeah, sitting right next to me here, I cannot wait for
this, cannot believe that we were overseas for this. Can I can I
just call out John again? Can I please listen? Ringside John Trevor,
we love you, ringside major of pod. We're like, you know,
we're two peas in a pod. We're four peas in a pod. We
were in a group chat. We love each other. We'd go back way
back. But when I say John, excuse me, let's say John,
you get any news like for the next couple of days, because we we
we record them on Sundays or Mondays and it comes out Fridays. We don't
want to be at a date. And this one hurt because this was exciting
and he just tells me, oh, you know, the basics are coming
in, the best stoves are coming in. Whatever it's called. What are
they called Best of two thousand and eighteens? What are they called top Talents?
Top talent? All these new leads are coming. Oh cool, cool,
cool, nobody deal. So the pods recorded, then what comes at
what comes in stock take a picture for Instagram. The Ultimate Edition figures unbelievable
in stock Ringside collectibles, and we are couldn't be further away to not get
them as fast as possible. So this technically was as fast as possible.
But now that we're here, they're here, we're gonna do a live alive
on boxing. Oh man, I gotta move these rhinos aside. I'm too
I'm too excited here. This is like sho I put this live on U
on the IG. Sure, this is a big moment. This is like
a big moment in wrestling figure history. It totally is, you know,
absolutely, this is like our three's becoming ruthless aggressions possibly, you know,
it's it's up there for sure. Are we ready? One second? Let
me go, let me post this baby. Hold on, let me first,
let me tag Ringside. See in that picture you can use uh your
machoman thermis to lean your phone up against Hold on, a second, We're
ready to just live. Are you going to hold it? Let's cut this
baby up. Oh my god, what are we going to have in here?
Oh no, dude, they can't be. They can't be. Ultimate
addition, Ronda Rousy, beautiful figure. You gotta have you gotta have something
else in there, dude, this is him in w CW. You didn't
have the rights to that music. Oh what this is? They have there?
We just it was like some ominous tones. Oh god, I see
something else in there, something for me. I don't know what's going on
here. That's mine. Oh oh, Summer ninety one breath that I ordered
and I'm ninety five. I'm assuming this is from Mackenzie. What is this?
He's new finally Bailey Sasha. Oh wow, that's pretty cool. The
man, guys, this is breaking Becky Lynch live on the Major Arresting Figure
podcast that I didn't know this is coming out. That's incredible. In the
Uh, it's a talking and singing Becky Lynch doll. That's very look,
very h I'm assuming it's the Superstars line. It's the same like packaging and
whatnot. Very cool. That's awesome, and I hope this is I'm assuming
this is another what's that? I think this is Rhonda and Warrior again.
We'll find out. Huh oh no, oh, he's gonna he's gonna be
my I'm very confused him arguing to maybe these are my Warrior Runna and yours
got sent to you. Well, these are my Razor and Brett. Oh,
the money in the bank collector case that's for Kenzy too. That's where
we keeper guys. That's awesome, that is really cool. I like the
collector case, the old school collector case. Yes, you open it up
and you put your figures inside. Let's get to the mainument though. I'll
let you open my round and I have to open the wire though. Okay,
but how do you know these aren't mine? I ordered them too.
I live here and they came to my house, so I'm going to assume
their mine. So where am I sent to? Orlando? But then why
wouldn't these be said? I don't know. Maybe he thinks I want them.
No, but I ordered these from John. I don't know. We'll
figure it out. I'll have to text them either way. Let's not ruin
the segment here. First of all, let's let's take a look the packaging
here. Um, awesome, It shows it got altered a little bit.
Yeah, remember the bubble was red. I don't recall that. Um,
the bubble was read for sure. I do read at toy Fair. I
do like that. You see everything you're getting, you see all the arms,
you see the hands, you see the heads. Actually it wasn't like
a flap too or no, might make that up. Then you might be
making it up. And on the back the bubble is definitely red. The
back it shows the Runda figure all posed, It shows her stats. Then
it shows her like in real life, wearing the gear. So let's open
her up. These are beautiful. Oh my god, very cool, ultimate
articulation for authentic posability. Oh man, taking out the arms, the hands,
the jacket, My god, a lot of stuff going on here.
The kilts. I think they're truly ultimate. I'll tell you that. Wow.
I'm a big fan of the jacket idea. Like I can't wait for
that Brett. So there's rounda with a ponytail where there's hair up hair down.
So the one that's on her is like hair braided, mean mugging,
then the other like ponytail, and then the other one is like a ponytail
like smile wow, and then there's the like hair down like you know,
like smiling. Yeah. The heads are pretty easy to pop on and off,
isn't bad? Yeah? Usually Actually they're even like the wrists. I
was concerned about the hands, like with my daughter, like playing with my
figure with the removable hands. But they're not that easy to get off.
Like it's almost perfect, like it's not too hard to get off, but
it's not that easy either. They're all the joints that the toes, the
waist, like the crunch on. Let's put this skilt on. Let's see.
Let's see that. Really see the jacket? You want to do all
that? Yeah? Can you do it? You pop off the arms here?
Oh man, that's a little tough. I'm putting them to the test.
It's like building legos. That's why I don't do legos. Oh my
god. You put the jacket on. Sure, you know how people's anatomy
works, like you know, arms, legs. See what I like about
this is that the jacket so it's like a rubber like coat apart, but
the sleeves are plastic and the arms are plastic. Yeah, it's i'tmember how
this has never been thought to be done. It took this long, Like
Brett. That's gonna be game change to have Brett like that. Oh my
god, for sure. No offense to rounda. But I think Brett is
the most famous leather jacket wearing wrestler of all time? Now putting it in
the hands. You know, what are those things? I'm not I'm not
a lego guy nervous? Is that as easy as it looks? But these
are definitely ultimate? Oh my god, these are the most detailed figures of
all time. What does round to wear in their hands? Can you describe
those? They're like finger wrist wraps? But she like gives them to a
fan before she works, right, she doesn't even like does she worked in
him? Does she? I'm not quite sure. I'm not quite sure.
Any there? Why are you doing that? Let me look at this?
This Summer Slam Razor and Bret Hart basic Uh flashback nineteen ninety one for Brett,
flashback ninety four for Razor um this is basic ninety seven. Also in
the line is Jeff Hardy Mays who has a Chase AJ styles all based off
Summer Slam attires. And uh, this Razor is cool and this Brett is
even better. I was thereving Brett won the icy title um from It is
the Perfect and Summer Slam mess Work Garden, so I needed that figure.
And I'm a huge razormone fan, so I needed that figure as well.
I wish there would have been some chest hair on the Razor, but I
get it in the basic complained about chess there. Yeah, I mean I
wish there. I mean, Razor is a hairy guy. Um, it's
Ronda rules, man, you know I'm gonna open the razors. Two live
on boxing was going down here at the Sling figure pot. I wanted to
check if they had one elbow pad painted, and they do so authenticity are
Yeah, so that is correct. One elbow pad is painted, the other
is not. I wish there was some chest hair, but that's that's fine.
It's not it gets a stubble and uh, I'll open the hit Man.
Why not doing blow my mind? Like and I'm sure like the action
figure photography guys will have their way with these, but the options are like
endless, Like I don't even know. I'm looking at this Ronda and I'm
trying to think of, like how do I want to display this? Like
what what gets? What? You know? Um, this Brett is pretty
damn perfect. I think the logo and the chest is a little too big,
but beggars can't be choosers, you know, it should be a little
smaller and than like not centered. But I'll take it beggars can't be choosers.
Uh, A lot of a lot of detail on this the Ping of
Black Attack um, and we have plenty of icy titles that we can put
with Razor or Brett. So I'm not sure if there's a new headscope on
Brett. Possible it might be UM. But yeah, this Razor and Brett
really cool purchases. Pick those up from ringside collectibules and that's where you can
get these ultimates, the only place that they're in stock for anyone wondering.
I went with the mean round to face because that's just how I like to
remember. Okay, that's cool, put the check it on, put the
killed on, and I still have all the sex stuff. Oh the Ultimate
Warrior Baby Ultimate Edition, Ultimate Warrior, the first ever WC representation of the
Ultimate Isn't it crazy? This guy's had like but it's not the first WCW
representation. What are you counting his his exclusives? Yes, that's crazy though,
that's not that's not to the mass market. That's the mass to the
people. This is the first time you know a civilian canna w Ultimately,
all right, we go smart Mark just text hit. Do you guys call
me and wrote multiple times, Oh my god, tell him he's fired,
Tell him the podcast it's over. Should I call back? Tell him he's
never gonna win a creative problem match again? Wow? Eck you again?
My it's going up all right, bust it open. So just for those
out there whoa well, you don't have to grab that Rhonda box. Okay.
I had this box cutter here from opening the box, so I started
to use it, so I did all along around the lines. It kind
of opens like a shoe box. Oh I just ripped mine, okay.
And then it says, speak to me warriors, like there's a quote you
can essentially you can essentially definitely um rhondo rosy I was born ready see so
uh okay, guys. So so before you just peel into these like my
friend Matt did here, you can the box everything about it. Oh my
god, you just put it right back in. You can be receialable like
a shoe box. It's beautiful, like the bubble. We'll fit right back
in there. I guess it's kind of meant to be that way because there's
details and things you can't see. Marky, what's going on? Man?
You're you're live on the major rest of your podcast. You blew us off
our Game of Thrones. We've called you like three times and you f you
button us live on the pod multiple times. Does Game of Thrones pay you
a salary? I have been waiting for the resolution of this story. Oh
my god, that's two thousand and six. What that's how long that show's
been on? Well, Mark, don't spoil it for all our listeners out
there. Wait, Game of Thrones a book stopped. I have no idea
what you're talking about. Ridiculous, Mark, what's more Game of Thrones major?
You spend two thousand and six reading books? Oh my god, Mark,
you know what's like crazy is that you're gonna be editing yourself in a
couple of days. That's like inception stuff. Bro Man, very close,
Mark, you want to know something that you're not gonna like. We're we're
in the middle of weekly Purchases right which is the second segment of the show.
We're at an hour right now. See, if you were here,
Marquis, you could have like spent us a lot. You could have spent
some time with your bros hung out. I haven't even watched some money in
the bank yet. We book we booked VSK to replace you. So it's
no big deal. Is he on the show? No? No, no,
no hour with us? Listen. Uh my buddy Flex Collects. I
was talking to him. I found out that he listens to the show.
He's a collector, and he told me. I said, hey, you
know, because we're good friends. I was like, do you have any
critiques on the show or anything? And you know his response was, what,
no critiques at all? Except for when they choose smart suites, he
said, And he said, I actually wish the show was longer. Whoa
see, Mark, I've been called you up in the beginning. You wanted
to keep it under an hour. People have commutes, man, people have
commutes. Flex collects, So let's collect You're you're gonna you wish came true
this week? Baby, you wish is coming true for sure? Oh boy,
Well Mark, Mark, can we interest you in a sign? Mark
Bushy eight by ten because we have one. I got I boxed one on
the show. No, I did that one, the bushmat Bushman. He's
from your hometown. He's from Chester Peak, Massachusetts. Chick Chester Peak.
Yeah, the bush bat All right, all right, Mark, we're in
the middle of unboxing the new Ultimate edition figures. So we're gonna have to
go. This episode is gonna be like two and a half hours long.
But all right, don't you any more smart suites? Um, we don't.
We don't have any of this. If they're a proud sponsor of the
show, I have a ton in the cabin over every once somebody, Well
next, I'm fasting right now, Mark, Yeah, um, all right,
let's get back to the show. Alright, good, all right,
see monk, alright, Altimate Warriors out of the bubble. This is crazy,
bro. I'm just looking at this jacket, the jacket, the the
deco on the tights is out of control. You know. The first thing
that I liked about this Warrior jacket it looks like it won't stain the figure.
Well, let's not put that in people's heads if we don't know.
Um, he has removable tassels. I've never seen the history of Ultra Warrior
figures. They're like they plug into his kneepad. That's awesome, like almost
like the way a little plug on a championship title would. Oh wow.
Um. Oh, you know what's funny. He has this tatto of himself,
which not a lot of has some have had that, but not sure
because he had that only in like his brief ninety six runs at the b
and then obviously someone complaining about the torso being different than Elites. I mean
like cosmetically it looks exactly the same. Yeah, it moves very cool.
I mean I'm done with that. The skull detailing and the trunks and the
kneepads and the risk is incredible. I see you were talking about with the
they plug in, you gotta push them in and the other line, I
kind of wish they were already in. To be honest, I think it's
meant to be, like maybe that's just kind of popped out. Um.
The other I mean very cool and well, I guess kind of you think
about it like crazy idea that like this is the first time Warrior has had
a figure where the paint is coming off, which is incredible on purpose,
you know, he's he's battle ridden Ultimate Warrior, you know, deep into
a match which was you know, if you grew up watching him, that's
what it was, you expect him to look like that is amazing. Yeah,
it's pretty ridiculous. Um, you know what we should do? What
should we do? We should give away an Ultimate Editions Ultimate Warrior holes because
you know what, we didn't mention the giveaway. Maybe that's where you're set
is I'm gonna give away my own set. Doesn't make sense. Um,
I'm gonna win my own giveaway. No? Um okay. So last week
we were given away the retro Macho Man figure and the winner of the Retro
Macho Man figure is at Kevin D. McCullen. No at Kevin D.
McMullen. Kevin, Kevin McMullan, you are the winner of the Retro Macho
Man. And this week, you know what let's do. Let's do four
going all out, all out. So there's gonna be three there's gonna be
four winners. Is gonna be three prizes and then the best prize, obviously
is the Ultimate warre What we'll do is well, four winners and this one
you gotta do. Guys, you need to go on Twitter and take this
link Major I'm sorry, take this link YouTube dot com. Spin it out,
take this link YouTube dot com, slash major wfpod, tweet it and
and and tag five people who you think would be interested in watching our videos
and use the hashtag major YouTube so we can find it. If you do
that, you will be eligible to win one of four prizes will be four
winners. The first two prizes will be the same. It will be an
exclusive Elite Squad snap back hat signed by the Michael Jordan and the Scottie Pippen.
And these hats are exclusive. People have been trying to buy and you
can't buy them. Twenty four in the world. We got them especially made,
and I believe these are the last two. Yes, last two we're
willing to part with. Last two we're willing to part with. So those
are two prizes. Another prize the guests on this week's pod the sing Brothers
Battle Pack, and the grand prize will be this ultimate addition, Ultimate Warrior.
So four great winners, four great prizes. All you gotta do is
tweet the YouTube link out to our YouTube channel tag five people write there at
names all that stuff, and use major YouTube. Is that what I said?
You're not speaking English, major YouTube, hashtag major YouTube and I'm just
playing with the Ultimate Warrior figure head barely listen. You use the hat tag
major YouTube and we will find it and they'll be four winners. So this
Warrior is incredible, absolutely nuts. I'm blown away. I'm just there's another
one. I gotta like, you know, so you're giving all these hands
obviously the ultimate head the alternate head, and they said ultimate, So yeah,
you gotta make as a I feel like as a collector and someone that
displays these things, you gotta make some choices here, you know, right,
And I'm just putting the rhyndo next to the bread heart. They're all
in scales, so basics, elites, an ultimate or all in scale.
That's a great job at Mattel. It's not like what we complain about all
the time about our three's and tighten drums and the massacre that that was.
I mean, this is all. It's just continuation, one big, happy
family, all look like exactly the same, except when they're on display.
Articulation doesn't matter, you know what I'm saying. But if we want to
display do something photographers it does. That's how you pose them. Well,
I just display them kind of like standard. I don't know how that's so
boring to me. I don't know how you do that, But for should
your photography stuff like that? Oh my god, the tassel has a joint,
so if I raised his hand, I can lower the tassel like they're
hanging. Why that's wild, And I think that explains the boot thing.
Why it like that running It can be like yeah, yeah, oh my
god, this is the great. Oh you got us, bro, you
got you little sweaty punk Bill. I know the back of these trunks a
own, but you just made me h A r D. And we'll end
weekly purchases with us a superstar Kurt Hawkins. And if you're hearing some background
noise in this episode, that is because we are in our home away from
home WW Catering, hiding in a room behind it or not so much room.
Yeah. I searched high and low, uh in this arena in Everett,
Washington. Beautiful take a beautiful Everett Washington. Was looking for an empty
room, not find anything. So we are in the back of catering and
we are hoping that it's pretty quiet. This is as quiet as it's going
to be and you're getting a full day in the life experience here of Brian
and Matt h Matthew, I know we have to get down to business here,
but yeah, first things first, we just had to scroll through the
Facebook Patreon secret group yes to find these questions. It is a secret group
business. You know, it's called a secret group. And of one of
our major marks are loyal. Patrens posted a picture of a signed Basic Series
Tan Zach Writer actually figure with a distinctively different autograph and what I have today,
and a light bulb just went off in my head and I said,
wait a second, that is what your autograph looked like. You've changed it
drastically. Yes, and I'm going to say it's out of pure laziness.
So defend yourself, explain yourself. I will give you the little backstory to
this. Yeah, I never I don't know how. My first signature really
it was Zach Rider legible legible. Now it's like a ze rye. And
so what happened was in two thousand and eleven when the YouTube show Zcholing Island
Story started taking off, WWE shop and WWE in the concession stands, the
supernir stands were selling my headband. And with the headband they were selling like
this autographed card, not quite an eight by ten, not quite a baseball
card, like the middle of the road. Yeah, and I had to
sign thousands at a time. So I quickly I saw my good friend John
Cena, the broscue of the week John Cena, he has a little JC
kind of deal. So I wanted to be like Sina and I thought this
is very time effective. Is that the right phrase? One? And I
switched up the cig because I had to sign thousands of these one. Did
John Cena ever have a different autograph? I don't know, because I would
like to really answer that too. If Bret Hart can have the most beautiful,
legible autograph a wrestler who's a hundred times more famous than you, then
you're just a lazy piece of thank you very much, Okay, just throwing
it out. Thank you. Maybe I'm being an impigraph, but no matter
how popular I ever get, there's no way I'm changing my autograph. I
changed mine up like a mofo. That is, I just signing with Brotus
when we both got fired. Yeah, and I was signing, like,
you know, my autograph, which has been pretty much the same my whole
it's got different but not it's the same autographs. Just I think I just
I've changed as a person, you know. Um, and we had that
battle pack, so I've seen a lot of those and like it would just
say BC BC, like the laziest quickest, like Mackenzie could probably do it.
She's too like it's the laziest little crappy or like autograph, Oh okay.
And then one of the promoters was like, how come you can sign
Kurt Hawkins and everything, but Brotus can't sign Brotus Clay on this stuff.
I said, what are you talking about? He goes, so he told
me he legally can't write. Oh my god. So I'm like, I
was like, what are you talking about? I just kept doing what I
was doing. It was bugging me at Like later that night, I'm laying
in bed, go to the eBay app. I read Brotus clay autograph.
Sure enough it was like fifty fifty like perfectly written out in script Brotus Clay
legible. And then these lazy bcs will just he did exactly what you did
out of pure laziness. He's altered his signature. Well, and I'll tell
you what this signing with me and Brotus it was not all that popping he
could, I would say, out of laziness. For me, more out
of efficiency. But since I just answered your question, why don't we do
what we're supposed to do here and answer the major Marx questions. We asked
you, guys in the Patreon I was gonna ask you that in real life,
so I might as well just get out of the Podura. Well,
we asked the Patreon group would they want BCA series four or five and six
for this bonus or Q and a uh, and they pick Q and A.
So we asked you major marks with the questions. It's pretty shocked that
what your questions were. Yeah, I thought the serious breakdown would well next
next month. That's what we're gonna do. Let's do. Uh Bone Crunch
is four or five and six if you haven't checked out the other bonus.
Uh Bone Crunch is one through three and also every week of course the bonus
let them breathe. So we're not gonna we don't have the time to answer
everyone's question, but we will read what we think are the best ones.
We'll skim through the Facebook group right now, and I will break our rules
from the regular pot since you are our patreons, we can talk a little
wrestling here. Doesn't have to always be figures, right right, So,
and I'll go with the first let's not make it oh yeah, completely that,
but obviously we won't mind it as much. It's a good question.
Okay, so I'll go first. I'll read the first question here. Michael
Dodeck, what wrestler do you currently enjoy working with and if you could work
with any wrestler in the past, who would it be. Um? Currently,
Um, the Brothers. We've been having a ball. I love working
with Gallas and Anderson Usos are just great. Um. But like in my,
oh my god, in my career, I loved working Um, I
love workings. I love working Dolve Ziggler, love working Ambrose Czarrow, so
many guys and some of I'm sure the same for you. Some of my
favorite matches and what I feel my best matches were on live events. But
there's more time and stuff like that, and the world will never see They're
gone, not even a fun history's gone. I've got some badass matches,
fun matches with he Slater, Um, Tyler Breeze, Cody Rose, even
Adam Rose, my Canellis, um My. Probably my favorite opponent of all
time is Trent Peretta, just because we wrestled so much and we're such close
friends. Was just so easy and fun and creative and enthusiastic and everything that
goes into making a good match. You know, we had um and then
for whatever reason, throughout my career, I've been the most people I wrestled.
There are probably justin Gabriel and Apollo Cruise, but I also love wrestling
both. Right, they're very, uh, just guys. I kind of
think like myself. They can do a little bit of everything, so it's
just kind of fun to put stuff together, very laid back, and I'm
so married to their ideas and they can chill out and have a good time,
and that's what I think wrestling should be. Yeah, and I guess,
uh, guys, who I wish I would have worked Um, I
wish I would have worked Edge. I was lucky porched enough to work Christian
a bunch of times, but I wish I would have worked Edge. Do
you remember there was a live event only one loop where we had like in
the main event, he like had turned on all of La Familiar on TV,
so for only that weekend, we'd come out in the main event.
He'd try to powder up the aisle and we'd come out and we'd have to
like punch him back to the rank. I have no memory that you remember
that. I remember feeling like, oh, I hate this, I don't
want to be doing this. Oh I don't remember that at all. Yeah,
it was one weekend we did, so it was probably two live events
somewhere which I don't remember. But I would have loved to have wrestled Edge
Um. Realistically, people that we didn't wrestle, that I wish we had
wrestle, that I wish. Okay, that's a good saying. I think
they were saying, like dream opponents, because obviously I loved to Wrestle of
the Warrior from my little indie run. I'm like pretty upset that I didn't
get to wrestle Sabuk and Shane Douglas, because those are two guys are still
you know, if you book them in twenty nineteen, they still go out
there and they try their best to put on a real deal a wrestling match.
And I was at a couple of shows with um, actually both of
them, I could say, but Shane Douglas in particular, who like really
like went all out and I had like really fun I remember he wrestled Janella
and one of these a show that I was on, and I was like,
they're just brawling around this building in New Jersey and like two hundred fans
and I'm like, oh man, look I was jealous and this was so
fun. I wish I could do that. That was a very good question,
Michael. Um, let's get another one. Here we go. Uh,
what's one acts from Zachary Allen? What's one action from classic Hasbro's that
hasn't been used for Mattel retro that you'd want to see? Um? The
clothes line? Just just kidding, just kidding, um hmmm. I thought
I idly, I'm like, why do not more have the Roman punch?
Like just Roman has it? Yeah? No one else like punch? You
know. I think that's a very basic one that could be used for so
many guys, Like it doesn't have to be your signature move. Anyone can
do it punch, you know, So like why not? Um, I
would have that was odd? I would have to say, no one has
done the like the skinner Jian gonzalas Ultimate Warrior three where you push their legs
out in there, arm arms start going crazy. It's not been done.
But it's also to me not very desirable thing. Those are not like my
favorites. I liked it. It was cool. I just did I just
said the punch, but they made the punch. Oh are you saying,
but then that's that's really it? Right? No, they never did.
Like the DBAs too, Like I RS stop, it's very similar to what
you just said, like bushwhacker stomp. That's not very desirable either. I
guess, yeah, well that could be like a curb stop. That's true,
you know what I'm saying. Maybe for series or eleven or twelve or
thirteen, Tom Slimy Boy, Tom Sliney with all the belts we've seen and
gotten from Mattel for figures, which ones are you dying for us to see
the feature? I need a w w US title. Great call there,
I think that I agree w cw US. I would also love to see
uh ecw uh got that beautiful CW title, but nothing else. I would
love the TV title TV title or like an RVD or something would be for
sure. There's one title. I can't believe this. I love that.
Um what else is mis sense A class? I mean I don't think they
have the rights there. It's not really possible to like an nWay like the
traditional Yeah, obviously that would be amazing, but it's just uh, it's
a pipe dream At this point, I got you. Um, okay,
how do you its from Emon American? How do you feel about a tag
team champs two PAC only coming with one belt and he uses the pick of
us uh with the one title? Yeah, I mean I think I think,
well, one stupid two that's from the dying days of Jack's where things
are, So that's even the cost cut version of that adrenal impact we've discussed
in the pockets. They switched to mics that goes to just a microphone,
no belt, and we lost the deco on our gear. Um, I
don't I don't mind it. Uh. I mean, obviously I wish it
would have came with two, but at the time those titles were so plentiful,
so many extras. Anyway, and if I were to let this broth
and display it, of course I'd put the title on me and not you.
Wayne Guitard, what would be your wish list if Mattel started doing an
LJ in or Remco style? Oh well, let's just pick one one rec
is not on my like, I don't wish for that, yeah, but
LJAN the fact they've done so Jack's tried it. Jack's tried it, and
I for one. I'm not a fan because it wasn't very similar. Mattel
did such a great job, you know, reimagining Hasbro's that I would love
if they tried the lgns, like if it would be good. I honestly
like, I just want them to keep doing the retros. Same here.
I honestly the end of the day, yes, but I feel like they
could do a good job of the ljms. Yeah, I'm just now,
I just let's say one of the time. Let the retro you know what
I'm saying. Let the retros keep the focus on those retros. In my
opinion, UM, okay, this is from Lewis fraggo with your podcast including
your real names. Do you now find an acceptable fans referred to you guys
by them or still your w W names. That's a very interesting question.
I remember like people would try to be smart hi, Matt Cardona, like
they wikipedia be at Summer SIME ninety eight on Sunday Night Heat before I went
live, Edge sat right in front of me like to get that crowd shot,
and he was like the stranger lurking in the crowd, and I was
such a little smart mark piece of shit. I kept going Adam Copeland,
Adam Copeland, but just being a little bitch. Now I think of that
and uh, personally and that doesn't bother me. Um, I'm in a
weird scenario where I mean, you can back this up because you work with
me, But like, no one really calls me Kurt. Everyone calls me
Hawkins. Yeah, so people call me Kurt. I don't even really turn
my head, but Hawkins. Obviously I'll answer too. So I don't know.
I mean, people here call me rider, Zach Browsky. Nobody calls
me Matt. No one really calls you mad. No. I think people
are calling us Brian Matt more than ever. Yeah, because like you had
like your indie run before our our big well, I mean our big run
before you were Brian Myers and I was Brett And that doesn't care Matthews.
But people at least you were like no one professionally as Brian Myers and to
some people, as see, half the people in this locker room and people
that work backstage met me in that indie run between TNA and Indies, right,
I met them there and they met me as Brian. So I don't
even know Kurt Hawkins. You know what I mean, as odd as that
sounds, I was, you know, abyss Sanjay and Jeff like all these
guys, they don't know me as that right, and like for me not
that I was hiding my real name. It was obviously public knowledge, but
I never really used it. But now with the podcast, since it's take
a shot, since this is ours, it's actually a blessing in disguise.
Is because now people more people know me as Matt Cardona aka Zach. Right,
I like this question. I'm gonna call you out on it, Lewis
Fraga. Zach has mentioned many times how he is not just a question by
him. That's fine, Okay, you can't get more than one, okay.
Zach has mentioned many times how he does not collect the current roster,
only the classic superstars, but he doesn't think it was ever explained why that
is. Is Zach not a fan of today's roster? Would he find it
odd to collect figures of his co workers? Or is he just a that
much more of a fan of the characters you grew up watching? And will
today's roster ever be classicston which I think yes? And will you probably go
back and pick those up too? Which I think ye. Well, I
mean my answer to that is this um. Now, obviously I've made some
exceptions, but we debuted in WW in two thousand and seven, so I
use that as my cutoff for my Mattel's. So that's with the flashbacks,
I go up to two thousand and seven. I've made a couple exceptions,
like, for instance, guys who I wrestled with on ECW for some reason,
I made some exception, but uh. And then also with the my
Jacks, with this aggression collection, I figure like they made us in that
era, so like why not get one of each guy? But for my
Mattel collection, it's two thousand and seven because there's like no offense and these
guys in the roster um it would just be never ending and then you have
to get like every version of them or every couple versions of this guys.
But I'm not gonna do with Mattel, and I guess never say never,
but as of now, that's a big never. Thank you down the line
as time passes, I don't think so because like for instance, like okay,
the new Ghostbusters movie, like I didn't get those or any of the
new incarnations of the Ninja Turtles. I don't get those if they make new
Ninja Turtle figures, but if it's of the classic turtles, I'll get them.
Okay, I'm obviously more to my childhood. Um um um. I
think that's it for the show this week. You know, I try to
keep these things to just about an hour, maybe an hour and a half
of I'm feeling ZESTI that day. But you know, the show's great.
I could, like I said, I could put entire episodes up, but
I tried to chop it up a little bit. I try to mix it
up. But if you don't like the format of the show, let me
know. Um this is I think the best way for me to give you
guys little snippets into the pass into the history of the Major Wrestling Figure podcast.
And as always I've been your host, Jay George, And you know,
i'll plug create a pro for July thirtieth, but I'll plug the fact
that I now have for the first time ever, I got some some items
come to the merch table that everyone's gonna got stickers, and I got film
slates. Film slates are officially available. Come see me July thirtith and and
if you're if you're gonna see me and you heard this, I'll give you
a little discount. I'll give you five dollars off because you're the real one,
because you're the one that's rocking with me. Because I know for a
matter of fact, as a matter of fact, I know, as a
matter of fact, that there's not a lot of people listening right now.
Everybody's tuned out and everybody's deleted the podcast by the time I even started talking
at the end of this thing. Because you don't listen for me, You
don't listen for Jay George. You guys, listen for Matt Brian and hell,
you even listen for Mark Stone and bully for them. Bully for them,
because they're the ones that built this thing. This is what the podcast.
It's not the Jay George rewind all right. I don't have almost five
years of extensive podcasting history that you could go back and pick in. No,
No, I don't have any of that. The boys did. They
built this thing. They made it possible for me. I came up with
the idea. That's it. I just pitched them the idea, an idea
that I ripped off. I ripped off this idea, all right, am
I proud of it? Yes, because as smart people steal, you know,
they steal ideas because that's how the world works. If you see something
that works, you build on it. You don't try to reinvent the wheel.
And there was nothing to reinvent here. I'm going off on a tangent.
You're probably not even listening by this point, and that's fine. I
don't need you all to keep listening. Spring was never waiting for a skirl.
It ran one step ahead as we followed in the dance. That's right,
we're doing another song between the parted pages, and we're pressed in Love's
hot fevered iron like a striped pair of pants. Here we go, and
Arthur's Park is melting in the dark, all the sweet green nicing flowing down.
Someone left the cake out in the rain. I don't think that I
can take it because it took so long to bake it. And I'll never
have that wrestapee again. Oh no, thank you guys so much for listening
to the Major Wrestling Figure podcast rewind. I've been your host, Jay George.
There will be another song for me all I will sing it. There
will be another dream for me. Someone will bring it. I will drink
the wine. While it is one. Never let you catch me looking at
the sun. And after all the loves of my life, after all the
loves of my life, you'll still be the one. Fuck it. I
wasn't gonna keep going, but I will take my life into my hands and
I will use it. I will win the worship in her eyes, and
I will lose it. I will have the things that I desire, and
my passion flow like the reverse to the sky. All right, here we
go, And after all the loves of my life, oh, after all
the loves of my life, I'll be thinking of you and wondering why how
do I know the song so well? I don't know. It's just one
of these things. I was just gonna do the first half of it,
but I'm feeling it right now, so I'm gonna finish it off. I
might not even put this in, but if I could get it one more
time for the people, let's do it. The Garthur's Park is melting in
the dark, all the sweet green nicey flowing down. Someone left to cake
out in the rain. I don't think that I can take it because it
took so long to bake it. And on that have that wrest up again.
