[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome to Bergen with Brad.
[SPEAKER_00]: The views and opinions shared on the bourbon with Brad podcast are our own, and those of our guests.
[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing we discussed should be taken as financial, legal, business, or gambling advice.
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't make investment, business, or betting decisions based on our conversations as you should always talk to a qualified professional.
[SPEAKER_00]: Always drink responsibly, never drink and drive, and only consume alcohol if you are of legal drinking age.
[SPEAKER_01]: And good morning, we are on the day after Mother's Day, I hope everybody out there that has a special mother in their life.
[SPEAKER_01]: I had a wonderful day yesterday and it was a beautiful day here in Indiana P.A.
[SPEAKER_01]: and we were able to celebrate.
[SPEAKER_01]: How about you, Pear?
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I got a pretty bad cold over the weekend so I didn't get to do a whole lot of celebrating yesterday, but it was nice.
[SPEAKER_02]: My mother-in-law was in town this weekend, so awesome.
[SPEAKER_02]: We get to do a little bit, but I spent most of the day in bed sadly, but yeah, it happened.
[SPEAKER_02]: You're here, Brighton Shiny, and what you tell with your bunny tail and your little I mean, it's, you are a trooper, I feel a lot better today.
[SPEAKER_02]: Awesome.
[SPEAKER_02]: Sound a little bit congested, I'm sure, but, uh,
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll speak in a special mother's.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's your mother's birthday today.
[SPEAKER_01]: Happy birthday to Mrs. Mirror.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'll give a stop over here.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, make sure you tell her I said hello.
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I will do that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the AI headlines are popping.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, last few days and it doesn't stop even though it's the weekend, even though it's Mother's Day.
[SPEAKER_01]: AI funding is now so massive we need an AI just a count it anthropic is putting compute into orbit because why hallucinate on earth when you can do it in space and met is getting sued again, but this time publishers brought receipts so those are the top three little teasers, but we're going to dive right into it in the one thing we just wanted to hear in that one yeah
[SPEAKER_01]: So, I sent you a thing earlier, I think was maybe at the end of the last week, but in a video.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, before we even get into those, in the video is changing it a little bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think we had talked a little bit on the podcast about how Amazon was changing, you know, how they're going to do compute, you know, because there is such a bottleneck now getting new energy sources, the cost, community pushback.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's becoming more localized and also from a, you know, from a,
[SPEAKER_01]: from a government structure and from a cybersecurity structure to be able to contain your data systems.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Amazon, we had mentioned, is bringing the servers to the customers on the enterprise level?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's coming.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's getting to a whole new level now.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is, sure, where this is going.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so in the video, just announced a deal with Palt Group, they're a big home builder, and they're going to be bringing AI, many data centers attached to your new homes walls.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's going to be interesting to see exactly how that works if it's just going to be going out to the general kind of like a power source to the grid or if it's going to be utilized just for that homeowner.
[SPEAKER_01]: So.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm guessing it could probably be either.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I have to think that the idea there would be, that those data centers were all good into the pool, the pool, I think of how you phrased it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because again, those are data.
[SPEAKER_01]: And knowing what we learned, when we were looking at developing micro data centers before the data center rush hit, it doesn't matter where they're located.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the computing can travel through the airwaves and through cyberspace and find its way to you.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it is not discriminatory as to where it needs to be.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it can be anywhere.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what's kind of cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that was he mentioned, Elon was looking at utilizing his Tesla cars as being computing sources.
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, that's the last minute.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it is fascinating.
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the major first headline.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's coming from the video, of course, and anthropic, again, making headlines, they never seem to stop, Dario and his crew are 24-7, and it is a AI race.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not just against the world, it's an extra race here, against the big players here in America, you know?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: Who can win over the investors and continue to satisfy them?
[SPEAKER_01]: So that next round of funding is waiting at their doorstep, right?
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they've finally figured out that there is a finite amount of funding.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's for a while.
[SPEAKER_02]: Looks like it was infinite, but apparently it's not.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I do think there is a finite for the players that aren't keeping up.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now for those that are in the race, you'll see that that's one of the later headlines, it's crazy still.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, but anthropics start, we mentioned on Friday that anthropic struck a deal with SpaceX for 220,000 GPU and their Colossus cluster, basically taking over the whole center.
[SPEAKER_01]: I had kind of speculated myself personally, thinking, well, maybe it's because there's a merger to happen, but then I over the weekend, I'm like, oh, you know what?
[SPEAKER_01]: There is a deal cut already, that's cursor.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Elon has that option to buy it for it on 50 million.
[SPEAKER_01]: So why would he not want to make sure he had all the compute power for, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then secondly,
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe Elon has this space built in a dissipation for his human noise or refer to that next thing that's coming out that's rolling out.
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: Might have been the thing you've been sent me.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what that is.
[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, but you know, knowing Elon, he could have something behind the black box or the black curtain that we don't even know yet.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so maybe he's looking for somebody just to kind of rent the space and tell.
[SPEAKER_01]: He has a need for it, so.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like we talked about this Friday.
[SPEAKER_02]: Your guess is good as mine.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think he operates several steps ahead of most everybody else.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sure there's a plan and place there.
[SPEAKER_02]: We just don't know what it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's scary.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, as cool as he's been with everything he's done so far, I don't think we've seen even close to what
[SPEAKER_01]: he has coming.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, from everything I've heard between neural link, SpaceX, what they're looking to do in orbit, and that's the other thing they've talked, you know, anthropic is expressed in interest with Elon to put the clusters in space, you know, so, and look at that orbital data centers as being literally off-planet.
[SPEAKER_01]: So when we talk about hallucinating in space versus here, that's not too far off.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and as you said, the cooling, that solves the cooling problem and solves the energy problem because there's 24-7 sunlight.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but then the other problem, and you know, this better than I do, but the other problem is, you know, in that, in those shallow,
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I guess, not too deep for it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Orbits, there's a lot of satellites.
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a lot of crap up there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's a lot of debris.
[SPEAKER_01]: So how do you, if I'm that off, and I'm guessing, I mean, he already put, he already put Starlink up there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I've taken her dead a few times on my, and continues to throw more Starlink.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's quite impressive.
[SPEAKER_01]: You can catch it in the night sky every once in a while, and you're like, whoa, I mean, if we were to see in that three or four years ago, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: We could run her attack.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, but, you know, the one thing that Claude did immediately though, they doubled the usage limits for their customers.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's, again, this tug of war that you and I are talking about before going on camera, it's, it is a tug of war, who's provided in the better service?
[SPEAKER_01]: and it was providing more for what they're getting.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a constant battle between the tops and right now the two tops continue to be clogged and open AI.
[SPEAKER_02]: This reminds me and I'm going to age myself now.
[SPEAKER_02]: This reminds me of the battle between VHS and beta back in the day.
[SPEAKER_02]: Which one's going to win out?
[SPEAKER_02]: Which one's going to be the better, yeah, the better solution.
[SPEAKER_02]: A track and cassette?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, but on a sour, a little bit of a sour note for anthropic, you know, there might those we had talked about that being their enterprise, cyber security defense mechanism that was too powerful to deploy.
[SPEAKER_01]: It sparked a little bit of a fear this week as there was rumors, you know, again, this is allegations and rumors that it might have also deleted a database.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we talked about that happening, you know, with their clawed.
[SPEAKER_01]: So this is, you know,
[SPEAKER_01]: uh... expert bush shenaners that raises alarms uh... over it internally about the mitos model and
[SPEAKER_01]: And the model allegedly confessed to the depleteness database.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the Pentagon is reportedly considered reinstating cloud.
[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about that with the meetings.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm guessing they're going to be also looking into the Mythos enterprise version.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not thinking that they're just getting what we're getting.
[SPEAKER_01]: What was the database?
[SPEAKER_01]: Just they didn't release just deleted.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a company to database.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they were working with a few select companies behind the, you know, on a kind of a beta test.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the story is, it did something it wasn't supposed to do.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that's still one of the weaknesses, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: So, and we're fine.
[SPEAKER_02]: That makes it that makes it that much more human.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it really does.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's an inhuman error.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think I saw something over the weekend on the internet, and again, you can take it for a grand assault, but I've seen it firsthand, you know, working with these Applied Forms is, you know, they tend to not always follow instructions.
[SPEAKER_01]: Even though you might give him precise of this extraction, I got to repeat myself, hey, go back to what I said very originally and follow it to the word again.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think some more human right kind of funny actually.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is it feels like you're arguing with the with a kid Yeah, you start having the arguments with your AI large language model.
[SPEAKER_01]: You might want to seek Yeah, but at the end of the day this highlights, you know some of the some of the rest that are coming with this front Did you new frontier models rolling out?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure
[SPEAKER_01]: So, opening AI also rolled out their 5.5, we talked about that, but they also rolled out their 5.5 for cyber-trusted program, so it's kind of their answer to the mythos, and their new models are targeting cyber security, they're targeting enterprise automation and the confidence levels that you need to be protected.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they began testing it, and they also began testing inside their models.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you were one of the consumers out there that may have seen it in chatGBT ads.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_02]: I was just using, I was using, uh,
[SPEAKER_02]: wasn't chat GPT.
[SPEAKER_02]: I was using the Microsoft.
[SPEAKER_02]: Go pilot a little.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's okay.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a little fuzzy this morning.
[SPEAKER_02]: Still sorry.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was using kill pilot yesterday.
[SPEAKER_02]: Stockings are ripped.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, look at you.
[SPEAKER_02]: You're a mess.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a mess.
[SPEAKER_02]: I was using kill pilot to actually produce some backgrounds for it.
[SPEAKER_02]: It dawned on me that this could change the face of stock photography as a pay service because I had, we're doing some senior portraits for Gary, and she wanted this one picture I took of him in our backyard, she wanted to have like a real, pretty fall leave background and blah, blah.
[SPEAKER_02]: co-pilot generate a fall leaf of a fall background, you know, a background image high resolution of fall foliage and a country road.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it's freaking beautiful.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is beautiful.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it looks real.
[SPEAKER_01]: It does.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm, you know, I'm doing that for the country club with all their social media.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they get me.
[SPEAKER_01]: I had them take professional pitchers of all the rooms around the country club and so any time there's an event going on or there's a special meal or there's a happy hour.
[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever, you know, the occasion might be, I then use that as a background for, let's say, media posts and it's awesome.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it really is awesome.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is awesome.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you're right.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is going to change the whole licensing.
[SPEAKER_01]: I still think there's going to be a need for great pitchers and photography.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let me hold you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because, you know, the great ones are going to stand out.
[SPEAKER_01]: But the more average mundane ones that you would have to normally go get a getty license or subscribe to something to be able to use or get a green screen all that complication and set up no longer is necessary.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean in the past I would have had to go and I know I mean I'll use what I'm creating.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to use but I either had to go shoot it myself.
[SPEAKER_02]: Which is difficult because you can go into it one time a year, right?
[SPEAKER_02]: Or I'd have to go to a service where I bought a pack, like you can buy a pack of 10,000 background and it's like everything, you know, for one picture, you know, so, or go to getty or go to a shutter stalk or one of those.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so it really does, you know, if you look at what you'd have paid there, it almost covers, you know,
[SPEAKER_01]: your cost of the subscription, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even have a subscription.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and that's your free one.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're just using the free one.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's that's a prime example.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let me know of a really added value.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we need to subscribe to one.
[SPEAKER_02]: It'll probably be the probably Claude or.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're open AI with that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, I've been subscribed to the, you know, through this development process, I've been subscribing to Claude's top level, it's $200 level.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna be back in and it down to the 60, probably.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're using it for different things that I would use.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I need those limits to be able to go all day, you know, it's just, right, right.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, if I'm gonna use it to generate images or logos or things like that, I don't need it.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it still shuts me down.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it still says, hey, you gotta take a three hour break.
[SPEAKER_01]: Come back.
[SPEAKER_01]: Go get some rest.
[SPEAKER_01]: Has anybody ever told you that before?
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I just switched gears, then I said, okay, fine.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then I'll just move where to call it all over the chat.
[SPEAKER_01]: G-B-D, you never know.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, you know, we ain't stopping.
[SPEAKER_02]: G-Tell, G-Tell Claude does what you're going to do.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well.
[SPEAKER_01]: I did tell all six platforms that I am and we are given their strengths and weaknesses on the podcast.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's funny.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's fun.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're different results, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: Did they write their own puff pieces or something?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think I want to read those off on the second one.
[SPEAKER_01]: We only got through.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think we got so sidetracked on that, you know, with the burger.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: People don't need to hear this Monday morning.
[SPEAKER_01]: You do want to see the new episode of the drop this morning.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
[SPEAKER_02]: That was one of the, that's one of the funnier episodes that we've had, and it'll be self-explanatory for people.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it explains itself.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's hilarious.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's hilarious.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we were such children too, so easily side-tracked by stupid mundane things.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: But that's what Keith has also said.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I was going back to the video when I was doing the edit, so I was like,
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we even got through two of the platforms.
[SPEAKER_01]: That we did.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even think I wrapped up clawed.
[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to talk about the different price levels.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to come back with that.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also going to come back with what each platform said when I told them we were evaluating them.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I want to read off exact quotes.
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we should do that this week and only drink milk or something.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: That ain't possible.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's dangerous.
[SPEAKER_02]: That was hilarious.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, but just to wrap up, but.
[SPEAKER_01]: chat GPT 5.5, you know, for the cyber, you know, it's obviously built for defense and red teams cyber tasks, so they're trying to also, you know, break into that market and be the go-to for, for the reliable red teams, cyber.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, red teams are the groups that are that are planning for the worst case scenarios.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, they'll try to push the edge with the call edge cases.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like you always know the obvious cases that are going on.
[SPEAKER_01]: and push and test.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to react to the maybe the more subtle, maybe the more nuanced or maybe the one-off that you wouldn't even think about, you know, and and therefore be able to see the results.
[SPEAKER_01]: before they actually come in live and be able to just kind of a kind of a generic term for it is trouble shooter.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is this is across the tech tech board.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I hadn't heard that before.
[SPEAKER_01]: So meta in Mark Zuckerberg are being sued again.
[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm beginning to think that there's just a bunch of people looking to try to get their share of the Zuckerberg pie.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think I think it's a combination of a couple things, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's it's because of this AI race.
[SPEAKER_01]: So quick and furious that these platforms certainly skip steps in the copyright ventures.
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't say for sure how they, you know.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just speculating, but, you know, when they were training these models on massive amount of data, you can't always go through all the legal channels I suppose to get the proper approvals and consents, which I would always highly, you know, me, I would always get that myself, or I would go through channels where the terms and conditions allow me.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then we've talked about that with my platform.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, this group of publishers is the class action suit against not only meta, but Mark Zuckerberg himself personally.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, saying that he knew or basically, if you didn't know intentionally, he knew and kind of turned a blind eye to it that they were using, you know, these authors books, and so there's like five or six publishers and Scott to row is named as the plaintiffs in this, you know, both individually in the class action coming after that we're talking like McGraw Hill, McMillan,
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, a couple of the other major, you know, publishers, what are they citing plagiarism?
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're, they're alleging that they copied millions of copyrighted books, journals, and that educational texts to train Lama.
[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, so wonder if you did it or not.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously, if Mark, you know, Mark's a very brilliant man, too.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe look at what he's done and continues to do, even despite his kind of misstep in the,
[SPEAKER_01]: in the reality world that he in the virtual reality, even though I like it, I like, you know, you know, I have one of those we like to play around with.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I do too.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's going to get better, but even though that wasn't as big of a hit for him right now, he still made some great moves.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, me meta is still right there.
[SPEAKER_01]: on top of the world, uh, he's building some sort of fortress in Hawaii.
[SPEAKER_01]: It looks awesome.
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I was working on that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: But, uh, you know, I can't imagine that goes for cheap, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, I think they must have made some sort of internal, I'm speculating I'm hoping this is a case because there's such a huge, uh,
[SPEAKER_01]: company, you know, that they made some internal return on investment decision that, you know, look, we'll just, let's just do it and then we'll deal with it afterwards, whatever it's going to cost us to pay these publishers.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're rightful amount because, you know, we've seen, we've seen other ones settle already, so that might be, might be easier that way, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: because again, it's a race to market, it's a race to who has that information at your fingertips.
[SPEAKER_01]: And when you're using, like you said, co-pilot and you want that information, you want that information now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't know, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: But interesting, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is interesting.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see, you know, we'll watch that amongst the other ones.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we mentioned, you know, a meta was being investigated over in the European Union, too, for, you know, for actions over there on the privacy levels.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll keep an eye on both of those.
[SPEAKER_01]: GPT 5.3 instant mini and right now they're instant mini is a 5.0 if you can keep track of all these different numbers, you know, it's kind of silly but it's the way it's moving so quickly but it's the fallback so that when you know you've we talked about using your limits even on the enterprise versions and they and they govern and they govern you down and throttle you down to where you can't use it any longer.
[SPEAKER_01]: For example, Gemini yesterday, I was doing the same thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I was double checking my thought process with Gemini on everything I was reviewing, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: So, well, Gemini said, app, you've used your limit, even on your pro limit, now I'm throwing you back to one of the older models.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, okay, so I'll re-altrain the older model and what I want to do and we'll go through it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a little slower, maybe not as accurate all the time, maybe I'll throw a few follow-up questions to make sure we pinpoint it down.
[SPEAKER_01]: But is it a daily limit?
[SPEAKER_02]: weekly monthly I just yeah I mean like if you if it shuts you off at noon on a Sunday does that mean by Monday morning you're you're back in the good you know you've got yeah yeah so like I have a weekly reset on Claude and it told me that you know you need to wait I think I have had that happen once right the weekly but it would thank goodness it was like within 12 hours
[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, every place is their backup.
[SPEAKER_01]: And what they're trying to be is a little more natural conversational, stronger writing, better context, retention, you know, that really we're getting into that memory, you know, core that we're talking about.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the goal is, you know, the strategy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Even if you have a premium model, the backup should still feel premium.
[SPEAKER_01]: So again, it's all about the quality that these, you know, companies are working on.
[SPEAKER_02]: good stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Talk about the AI funding, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: And you thought about this finite number.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, AI funding explodes to 200 and 12 billion already through today or through, yeah, 2025.
[SPEAKER_01]: Up 85% year over year, bear.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean venture funding almost nearly doubled from $114 billion to $212 billion.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking significant dollars.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just when you think there's got to be a bubble, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: There's, yeah, I mean at least, you know, we've never had a stock market that's swollen this much without it, at least taking a pullback.
[SPEAKER_01]: And here we are watching it just continue to swell.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like watching that balloon when you're kid and you're blowing it up as far as you can and it keeps going.
[SPEAKER_01]: Where's it going to blow up?
[SPEAKER_01]: But it definitely reflects massive investor confidence in the sector.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're saying most of the committee capital as we've mentioned before is going into the infrastructure.
[SPEAKER_01]: And again, these are committed promises.
[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't money spent, so that can always change on a moment's notice of something changes.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll keep an eye on that, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, sir.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure we will.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why we're here.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why we're here.
[SPEAKER_01]: early in the morning, drick in our death wish coffee kicking it off.
[SPEAKER_01]: Look at you, you're even getting some life back to you.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, maybe not.
[SPEAKER_01]: And just as you said, yeah, every day, it's hilarious, great timing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Elphabet, which is the parent company at Google, briefly over the weekend, overtook Navidia as the biggest company.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the, you know, as far as they're,
[SPEAKER_01]: They're capex you know they you know we're talking about right around the four trillion mark and it was that it was on the tail end after After nevidia announced a $200 billion and thropic deal So and so what anthropic committed what's that well anthropic committed $200 billion over or I'm not not in the video.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry anthropic committed $200 billion to Google cloud.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why the overtake
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, and that is, you know, that represents about 40% of Google's future contracted Claude revenue.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's a huge number.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Dario's making some pretty smart moves, aligning himself with people like Elon Musk and Google.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean,
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, he's, he's, he's pretty sharp guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for just for a moment, it peaked above it.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, it's going to be a, again, a battle at the top.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I would anticipate and Thropic's going to be right up there with, with these two companies as well here soon and open AI as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: SpaceX, obviously, they're, I mean, they're already just on the tail and he's there with what he's doing and cutting these deals they on Thropic.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know where their evaluation is right now if there is a current valuation because again, open AI SpaceX and anthropic are all private companies.
[SPEAKER_01]: So this is just based on what one investor or another investor may pay it as in public yet.
[SPEAKER_01]: So this is all speculation.
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know what the markets are going to pay.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what's really funny.
[SPEAKER_02]: You mentioned last week I think it was about
[SPEAKER_02]: about these these three companies all you know getting ready to go to go public and that's hard to believe especially SpaceX is a private company.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean because we we've related you know Tesla as being you know in the open market and that's a public company but yeah SpaceX is you know they've had great leadership over there and
[SPEAKER_01]: They've really, uh, you know, taking off the script.
[SPEAKER_01]: I see what you should do.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know you like that one.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to get into the crypto headlines.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's that's that's that's enough for today on the airlines.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we'll be picking it back up tomorrow morning with what's going on because we know everybody's got a busy Monday.
[SPEAKER_01]: But the crypto dot com, you know, one of my favorites is it making headlines this morning.
[SPEAKER_01]: They secure a UAE payments license.
[SPEAKER_01]: you know that was one of my favorite things about crypto.com if you remember me talking about that pair is that they are very regulatory conscious and you know you have to be in this day and age as if we're talking about the different you know.
[SPEAKER_01]: Most traps and bear traps, you can get your foot caught into as a company in this patchwork of cyber security, privacy, data, and crypto companies, they experience all of that.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then some, because then you got to deal with the crypto laws on top of it, and then you got to deal with the SEC laws, such as the security's laws, depending on the country, you know, I'm just using United States as an example, and now the new crypto legislation that's coming down the pipe.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they're going to have to abide by that as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, they're strengthening in their base.
[SPEAKER_01]: They'd open the door to integration with the Emirates, airlines and other state services to be able to take crypto.
[SPEAKER_01]: It shows the UAE's position as one of the world's most crypto-forward thinking regulatory hubs.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, kudos to both of them.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Take on the stem tree development.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, yeah, really.
[SPEAKER_02]: Don't see too many of those kind of steps these days.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, especially not not crypto and major governments, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: The U.S. crypto market structure bill is like we're just talking about with the different bills that is headed to a vote here this week, uh, a Senate vote, uh, there's lawmakers are preparing for a May 14th Senate banking committee vote, uh, the bill is formally called the digital asset market clarity act.
[SPEAKER_01]: often just referred to as a clarity act.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they're, again, we've been talking about that additional legislation that Trump's been begging for for the United States, but I think the crypto companies are probably begging for it too, so they have some certainty and they're not operating this nebulous SEC zone where it couldn't maybe apply, maybe it doesn't apply.
[SPEAKER_01]: I would know how do we do it, you know, the clarity act, you know, makes a lot of sense, so that's what they're calling it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, those.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it covers token classification, stable coins, consumer protections, that kind of stuff that you would expect it to.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it represents the closest thing that the US has come to, a unified digital asset regulatory regime.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm rolling it off the tongue this death wish is just kicking in.
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a homeless time for a bourbon.
[SPEAKER_01]: a matter of hours, all right.
[SPEAKER_01]: So anyways, where we're going to wrap it up with a little scary crypto story, and that was a defy, a couple defy wallets, which usually are, you know, the deregulated or they're off, they're they're off line wallets.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're hacked.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so it, uh, a little bit of a crisis.
[SPEAKER_01]: There was a, I probably did a probably AI quantum.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we talked about that.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's not too far away either, but the 40 plus protocols were shut down.
[SPEAKER_01]: After a massive exploit wave, uh, the shuttered falling a massive, uh, one of the largest coordinate, defy failures in history.
[SPEAKER_01]: So hackers exploit Oracle manipulation.
[SPEAKER_01]: and cross-protocol liquid-dating roting.
[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, we're getting into it.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're really putting your tongue twisters to the test.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, to the test this Monday morning with what they're doing here.
[SPEAKER_01]: As this is all beyond me, and obviously this is those geniuses that know exactly how these cryptos wrote and where they go and how they pass through the cyber air waves, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: But they used rapid fire flashed lone loops to distort price feeds and extract value before systems could react.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sounds like a need for Michaels, yeah, right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Or chat GPT five, boned five.
[SPEAKER_01]: One of the two, somebody has a solution I guarantee.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll just leave this the funds continue to flow in as you may have seen maybe the crypto prices are up this morning, you know, there was a nice uptick and Bitcoin crypto.com's CRO was up 5% last night probably on the UAE headlines amongst the the positivity that was coming out of a possible talks in the Ukraine too.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think all playing a role as the additional funds continue to roll in everything.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think is making it go off right now.
[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of their services.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're always in.
[SPEAKER_01]: And there's probably those that we don't even know.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, probably.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyways, that's that's a wrap for today.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be back with more tomorrow.
[SPEAKER_01]: Very hope you feel better.
[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks, buddy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's Monday.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we'll get there.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get there.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
