Hey, sorry, well Compton two and three. 00:00:57 Speaker 1: He's almost as consistent as Josh pat who has gone two three the last six weeks in a row. With doubt and when I have going on with my body. So you like a thirteen leg banger? 00:02:54 Speaker 3: Months soon? 00:02:56 Speaker 1: It was dead the first three legs. That's the thing about monsoons. Many long monsoons lost on. 00:03:01 Speaker 5: Average the entirety of the Iowa USC game. That's a long monsoons. 00:03:06 Speaker 1: Last monthsoons, as we talked about last week, do not happen in southern California. 00:03:11 Speaker 5: A lot of rain though a lot of rain, different. 00:03:13 Speaker 1: Than different than monsoon, way different than a monsoon. But yeah, dude, twelve lakes, fourteen thousand dollars, Like, if you're not just taking that profit boost token and just howking guesses out there with a boost going up like this, I don't know what you're doing. 00:03:27 Speaker 3: As always, we're lateting. 00:03:28 Speaker 4: You know that the best way to bet uh college football is with FanDuel, but you've got to make sure that you're using the boosting with the Boys profit boost token each and every week. 00:03:37 Speaker 3: It is. 00:03:37 Speaker 4: Therefore you on Saturday had the Fandel dot com slash Busting to learn more. 00:03:42 Speaker 1: Oh thank you just. 00:03:44 Speaker 4: Figured it out. Just flow, just hit this. 00:03:47 Speaker 1: They just can't right now if I was doing. Man, I'm not good, bro, Like we're having fun, right and this is content and it's like we're gonna make the most out of a shitty situation when this stuff. But I'm truly in hell, like I I don't. 00:04:11 Speaker 4: I don't think people understand too that you're right like content, there's bits, there's this and that. Right, it's as bad as it looks for you, it is, and it's slowly gotten that much worse. Like you've had You've talked about it on Busting at length. 00:04:24 Speaker 1: Yeah, like I I truly like, I don't know what to think of my life right now. I don't know what's happening. I've talked about I'm busting how I used to be this and now I'm that. But here's where I am questioning myself and my toughness. And Josh, is a story for you. These guys have all heard the story already two nights ago. I was sleeping. I was I haven't had a good night of sleep in three weeks since it's gotta started. I'm doing the thing where you're sleeping and your body is telling you, hey, you got a pee, but you're still pretending like you're asleep, as if you're gonna trick your by anything, and we'll just wait till the morning. 00:04:57 Speaker 4: I do that all the time, all a little bit. Yeah, I actually the other night. Yeah, but it was very small. 00:05:02 Speaker 1: But you've done that before. 00:05:03 Speaker 5: Yeah, not in the less, none the less several weeks, but yes, I can really himself the other day, so very. 00:05:10 Speaker 1: Small, very Will Pompson. Yeah, but I'm I'm not far away from that. Like that that's Will is like, that's his level one, Like he is there. That's Will's baseline. Is like peeing a little bit in the bed, which shout out Charro for doing the sheets all the time. So anyway, I go to get out of bed, and I stand up and I just fall to the ground, and obviously I have a bad right knee. I crawl on all like my hands and knees to the bathroom to go and take a piss, and I picked myself up onto the toilet, sit down to pete pee, and then crawl back to go to bed, only to have my fifteen year old dog, who is deaf, dumb and blind, kind of like taking and tapping her little foots at the door so she has to go out and pee. 00:05:53 Speaker 3: Two. 00:05:54 Speaker 1: We're like SYNCD up at this point, So I hands and knees crawl up. I'm in my underwear by myself. I open the door, let her out, and then I'm like screaming for her at one thirty in the morning, like just please come back, and I'm on hands and knees, like bang on the window. She can hear something which is no where it's coming from. So that's essentially where my life is at this point. 00:06:12 Speaker 5: Do you guys have like security camera stuff set up in your house? Yeah, so that exists. But did that exists? 00:06:20 Speaker 3: It could? 00:06:21 Speaker 1: Oh, it absolutely could. 00:06:22 Speaker 5: Well. The reason I mentioned that is I feel terrible for you. We've established that I kissed you off camera this morning. Did that one's gonna bring it up? 00:06:28 Speaker 3: You brought it up. 00:06:28 Speaker 1: I'm glad you didn't. 00:06:29 Speaker 5: That's how bad I feel. What I'm trying to say is you said that you're here and we got to create content. Those are your words, not mine. Yeah, so I think we know where we could go with that. 00:06:40 Speaker 1: Here's where the issue is is those cameras that are outside. You're going to see a door open, and you're gonna see a dog run out, and then you're just getting You're not gonna just gonna see a door moving a little bit because someone's banging up. 00:06:49 Speaker 5: But I mean, like you've got kids. I thought you may have the indoor surveillance stuff set up. 00:06:53 Speaker 1: Not in my master bedroom. Good though, the electra ho movies and. 00:06:57 Speaker 4: You're seeing the door where you let the dog out was from your bedroom. 00:07:00 Speaker 1: Yeah, so like my master bedroom, it has a door that goes to the outside. Open that door and let the dog out, and then the dog eventually came back in. 00:07:08 Speaker 5: But I never peeked me, Oh you did not outside? 00:07:11 Speaker 1: No, no, no, I stood where I had to be as if I was also another dog, kind of just waiting for my dog friend to come back. 00:07:17 Speaker 5: How close are you do you think to like rails being installed in the home parking in different parking spots, that sort of thing. 00:07:25 Speaker 1: If the option was given to me to have one of those cool handicap stickers. 00:07:29 Speaker 5: Let's not call it cool. 00:07:30 Speaker 1: Okay, if the option was given to me the luxury of having it, call. 00:07:33 Speaker 5: It a luxury. Either. Let's just call it a detail. 00:07:36 Speaker 1: If I was to have a handicap sticker, I would I would take it, and I would be very grateful to have that. 00:07:42 Speaker 5: Very great because I can get you one by lunch. I can get you. 00:07:46 Speaker 1: You can't get me. 00:07:47 Speaker 5: How awesome would it be to be handicapped? I can do it by lunch? Yeah, we could do that. 00:07:50 Speaker 1: I am handicapped, dude. 00:07:51 Speaker 3: Like we got to staying in the handicap room the night when we go up to New York. 00:07:55 Speaker 1: As Clump Clumb saw me yesterday, Will was filming for the Dads before we had to do k Adams yesterday. And I was laying on the couch after I got blood work done and Will walks in here. It was that bad, huh. I'm like, yes, dude, it's miserable, like just sitting up like right now, I am in pain right now, Clump. He starts, my wife comes to pick me up yesterday, starts talking about, hey, he's acting a little like this and that some experiences that I've had have kind of been like this, maybe you should get him checked out for being septic, and talks tailor into taking me to the hospital yet again. So two weeks in a row, I heard going to the hospital. 00:08:29 Speaker 5: That sounds like the kind of thing we're ten years from now when you're giving an inspiration, we'll talk to middle schoolers and like it's your survival story. That's chapter one. Jeremy Clump saved my life. Yeah, Jeremy Clump is the reason I'm here speaking to your children today. 00:08:43 Speaker 1: I'm hoping at this point, like at the end of the day, like I don't care what the news is, I just want an answer for what's going on. Because I go to the hospital yesterday. He's like, who said this was gout? 00:08:51 Speaker 4: I was like, I said, this is duddy, WebMD said this was. 00:08:57 Speaker 1: Go No, I've had gout before and felt the exact same as gout, so therefore it's gout in my head. He's like, gout does not last for three weeks. And then he started to get concerned about the possible infection I have going on. But this morning, shout out Derek. He's not in here right now, but he got me this wheelchair and it's so much help, dude, but I've been in hell. I'm truly in hell. It's awful. 00:09:22 Speaker 4: Yeahs and p's thanks. Man thought some prayers in the chef for our fallen soldier still operating. Though still operating three and two last week. Yeah, you feeling good about the games this weekend? 00:09:34 Speaker 1: Kind of yeah? I mean I said it in the intro like I was. Really. I took about two hours last night and read up on Louisville. 00:09:43 Speaker 4: I was when we were talking about the Loui Wilsome game. I got that same text at at six this morning. I'm like, I'm down to do that. I don't even know why we were talking about Louisville SMU. 00:09:52 Speaker 1: Anyway, he texted me and said Will, Will and Peter good with this. And I just looked at it and I was like he. 00:09:57 Speaker 3: Must have started with Peate because he's like, Pet's good with this. 00:10:01 Speaker 1: So he texts me, I look at it on my phone. I'm like, I don't know if it's them in pain that's making that's pissing me off that I'm getting this text two hours before a show starts, or I'm actually pissed off. So I'm just gonna leave it on red and just keep fighting a good fight. 00:10:14 Speaker 4: We're just we're getting that much closer to the college football playoffs with the rankings dropping last night. We're just that's what I'm excited about. Like I'm ready to see some chaos. There's not a whole lot of chaos potential. I feel like this weekend outside of like what USC organ don't sleep. 00:10:29 Speaker 3: On the zoo in Oklahoma. 00:10:31 Speaker 4: But other than that, like I'm ready to get more, just ready to get in that mode. 00:10:35 Speaker 1: Do you think there's an upset alert with MISSOO and Oklahoma? 00:10:38 Speaker 3: I think they very well could be. 00:10:39 Speaker 1: All right, talk to introduced that game. Wait, hold on, you should be checking on Pate. See how he's doing. 00:10:45 Speaker 4: Yeah, how's he doing? Since the rankings came out last night? I heard you kind of talking about the Let's say there's a clip I saw about them getting in some hot water with Notre Dame Miami. 00:10:54 Speaker 5: There's a lot of potential. I think there's a potential catastrophe right on the horizon. 00:11:00 Speaker 4: Here's the question I would ask you, is it Is it a catastrophe just because the way they started ranking Notre Dame, they would just look dumb because they had them they had them start so high, and then all they've done is went out the rest of the season, and then they've slowly trickled down. And then once they get in that what'd you call it, the pool. 00:11:17 Speaker 5: The comparative pool, the comparative pool. 00:11:18 Speaker 4: Once they get in the comparative pool of Miami, then they get jumped by Miami for the at large bid because at the end of the day, it would have still worked itself out. 00:11:26 Speaker 5: It would have worked itself out. Look, my problem is not with the process. If you thoroughly explain the process. They're terrible at explaining the process. Like, do you really think a random person who lives in Des Moines, Iowa, who works a normal nine to five job and is not like data minded, they just love college football and then they watched the rankings on Tuesday night? Do you really think they know the intricacies of the process that goes behind the rankings. Of course they don't. You can't expect your audience to know that. So what you got to do is you got to be really forthright. That's why on that ranking show, you got the numbers, you got the rankings, and you got Rhys Davis talking with the committee chair for five minutes. The committee chair is now Hunter Urichek because Macros he's no longer there, And I'll let other people in the building talk about why he's no longer there if they want to. Hunter Yurachek was like sweating Crisco last night on camera talking about the rankings because he's ill equipped to do it. It's not even his fault. He's running a full time coaching surge at Arkansas and then all of a sudden he's stepping away to be put on live TV to explain numbers, which he's just not ready to do. So they put him on last night and he was talking about Miami Notre Dame. So remember when the rankings first came out, we talked about on the show how Miami's beaten Notre Dame. But Miami's eighteenth and Notre Dame's like tenth, and so there's enough gap between them where apparently the head to head just didn't matter. Well, it turns out that's not the case. They just hadn't thoroughly enough explained their process. Now I'm about to explain it. It's going to be really quick. It's gonna sound stupid because it is stupid, but the way they do it is they don't just stack all the teams one through fifty and just pick the top twenty five. And it's not a computer where they go crunch and the computer just spits out the rankings. They do what are They use what are called comparative pools. So they take like a cluster of four teams at a time, and then they rank those four teams in a row, then they move to the next four, then they rank those four teams in a row. And what he was trying to say on TV last night as we're recording, is the head to head actually hasn't had a chance to matter yet because we haven't had Notre Dame and Miami close enough to be placed in the same comparative pool, which means we've never put Miami and Notre Dame on the board at the same time, which means the head to head hasn't mattered. But unlike the first week of the rankings, if you watched the rankings last night, there were only like four spots separating Miami and Notre Dame. And it looks like Miami could keep climbing and Notre Dame's done climbing because they play two terrible teams at the end of the year, so there's no way to further inflate their resume. They've also got like Utah BYU Alabama between them. Bama's either going to climb or fall. There's no way Bama finishes between them. It doesn't feel like so. Miami and Notre Dame are eventually going to be close enough according to the committee's own process where they're put on the board at the same time. If you put Miami a Notre Dame on the board at the same time and their resumes are comparable, you got a value head to head. 00:14:17 Speaker 4: That's their protocol, which is that's when they will value head to head. 00:14:20 Speaker 3: Miamialll jump Notre Dame. 00:14:21 Speaker 4: That dude, and I will watching TV just week after week screaming, saying, why do we just keep trickling down one by one and now we're out of the playoff when we've been in at the last five weeks. 00:14:30 Speaker 3: I've watched this show. 00:14:31 Speaker 5: Yes, and he would have a point because it's been terribly articulated to him. You're gonna have watched Notre Dame be ahead of Miami all year. All they did was keep winning and then at the very end, someone's gonna tell you Miami jump Notre Dame because of head to head, to which your reasonable response would be, but you knew the head to head the whole time. It's not like we just played. We played three months ago. So why is the head to head all of a sudden just now mattering? It matters? Cause of something called comparative pools. 00:14:58 Speaker 3: And you don't know you were using. 00:15:00 Speaker 4: Were you using the example of four teams at a time just to set the stage or set the example, or do you know how many teams getting in a comparative pool? 00:15:07 Speaker 5: I believe. Don't quote me on this, I believe. I saw a screenshot of like a protocol from the committee's website where it's like three or four teams. I think, but if you just do the math, if one of them's nine and one of them's thirteen, and they're telling me they still haven't been put in the same comparative pool, it's got to be less than four. It's got to be three or four something like that. So that's going to be the mess. And then the other mess is Alabama's at number ten right now, and so I'm wondering, all right, if Alabama beats Auburn and then wins the SEC championship game. Are they going to jump all the way back up into the top four and get a first round by Because if they don't, you're really sabotaging your conference championship games. Because people I was in Athens last week as far as yeah, they're already saying it, Georgia, we don't want to play in Atlanta. I'm not talking about Kirby. I'm talking about like their fan base. I was down there last week. I found way more people who were totally comfortable being the five seed than actually wanted to be top four. Let's go to Atlanta. And the same thing could be said at a place like Ole Miss. You think Old Miss wants to go to Atlanta. They're set up to have an off week the first week of December and then a home playoff game. They'd love that. So you're already dealing with that if you're a conference and you are making tons of money off these conference title games, but that's all contingent on them, mattering. To maintain the value of those conference championship games, you got to incentivize playing in them and winning them. And if Bama goes to Atlanta, wins it and doesn't jump into the top four. You have reinforced some of the thinking that has started to permeate through the Big Ten, through the SEC. It just get turned up to eleven at that point. 00:16:41 Speaker 1: So would the answer be We're not going to do conference championship games anymore? 00:16:44 Speaker 5: I think not only that, I think people would revolt. I think people would just openly say we don't even want to play in it. If I were the SEC like, I would look at it. 00:16:52 Speaker 4: Frankly, you're the college football commissioner. When you are, what's this. 00:16:56 Speaker 5: Going to look like, buddy? That we don't have long enough today? We do have to bring on games. I would I would be very very transparent about the selection process. You've got an idea about your own G five playoff, which I've advocated for a ton of times, and I think we ought to explore it. But you got to responsibly explore it. You can't just say no G five team. 00:17:16 Speaker 4: And okay, yes, so like creating a G five creating a separate G five playoff, Yes, yeah, I am fully on board that, but. 00:17:23 Speaker 5: You got to have the money there an no not an N. 00:17:26 Speaker 4: I think n it would be electric as well. People are sleeping on the n tournament. What schools are going to go and do that? 00:17:32 Speaker 1: Because you see all these players now, if you're not in the playoffs, they're all sitting out that. 00:17:36 Speaker 3: No, no, you're right. 00:17:37 Speaker 4: This is more of the fan talking, just aving another tournament out there like that. When uh Bustin put the graphic together what the tournament could look like, it's like these games could be. 00:17:46 Speaker 3: Sick just as exciting to watch as the. 00:17:48 Speaker 5: Main But think about the state of college football or the landscape of it right now. Right now, we're supposed to pretend one hundred and thirty six teams or playing the same sport. We're of course they're not like Michigan and u owman Roe never played the same sport. But for the playoff purposes, we're just supposed to believe that even though everyone in the room knows the deal. We're supposed to believe that because once upon a time someone upset someone. So we're supposed to believe, Yeah, man USF could go to Tuscaloosa or Athens or Lubbock or something as a three touchdown dog. It's irrelevant because it doesn't even make sense, Like the proper way to construct college football would be to have certain teams that are roughly the same size, spend roughly the same amount, recruit roughly the same kind of talent, have roughly the same kind of resources competing for a championship, and then have teams mainly would be your G fives that would compete for their own championship. But also you still got to subsidize them. Like if you gave me my option, I would let the G five ranks take the same cut of revenue that they currently take from the college football Playoff, but just build their own playoff and have their own TV deal with it. I mean, the MAC gets money to play games on weeknights. You don't think that the G five ranks would get enough money on a playoff contract to build their own system. I firmly believe they would. People just push back on it, and I've never heard an actual good reason. I've heard reasons, they're just not good reasons. 00:19:12 Speaker 1: So maybe we live in a world like in high school sports, where there's like one A, two A, three A, and then the biggest schools, like who are paying fifty million dollars per roster? They all live in this the biggest district, And then we go buy money, who's putting in the most? This is the district you're going to live in. 00:19:29 Speaker 5: Yeah, And if you want to say, well, that cuts us off, I would say, well, then I'm totally comfortable with a promotion and relegation system because as much as Tulane should earn the right or be able to earn the right to climb up in ranks, if you perennially suck and you penny pinch and you don't spend money, then you ought to fall down the ladder. I got no problem with a promotion relegation mechanism. Within that, it just makes no sense right now, Like, let's just be real. You don't have to you don't have to be crapping on two lane to understand a way better team's about to have a shot taken from them because we baked in a mechanism wherein a G five team has to have a spot in the playoff. Right, we keep on having the rankings, and then FanDuel sends us the hypothetical lines and they're like three games where the point spread would be three or four or five, and then there's one where the points spread is like twenty one and a half in the first round. It's obvious one of those things is not like the other. Right, and then you got some guy comes and tells you, well, point spreads don't matter, and so and so upset so and so one time as a big underdog. 00:20:25 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's always the Boise State Festa Bowl debacle. Our thing on busting was, or my thing on busting was, if you're going to be a G five team, that makes it. You have to be undefeated. Not only undefeated, but you have to like win these games by multiple. 00:20:38 Speaker 3: Scores, not only defeating. 00:20:39 Speaker 1: You've got a certain thing like incredible if you think you're gonna go compete against some of those schools, because then it is allow you to be like a Boise State or some of these schools that are upsetting or there was a UCF that went twelve to zero and they just decide their national championship team. 00:20:54 Speaker 4: Right with Yeah Scott Frost before we went to Nebraska. Yeah, Yeah, that's where you have an undefeeding year, because what is it? Who is in North Texas or Tu Lane who lost to UTSA. 00:21:06 Speaker 5: They've all got losses. Now, Yeah, you've seen some roll too. 00:21:08 Speaker 4: I loved his. He had a post practice pressure yesterday talking about how average his team has looked at times. 00:21:14 Speaker 5: He's been totally totally honest about love the transparency. 00:21:18 Speaker 1: Yeah, last thing before we get into the games playoffs you talked about in your show last night. Everyone's talking about a twenty four Is this is the game plan here? Hey we're gonna We're gonna say, hey, why don't we do a twenty four team playoff just to land on sixteen? Is that kind of the hey, we're gonna do this. Everyone freaks out that you had a sixteen and was like, Okay, that makes sense. 00:21:35 Speaker 5: So a negotiation tactic basically, maybe, But it sounds like the Big ten really wants that twenty four team for real. They're really like I thought, initially, what you thought? I floated that to a Big ten athletic is Pat Craft. I floated it to Pat Craft. Pat Craft said, no, that's that's not what we're doing here. Because I had just done a show where I talked about that. Then I went up to Penn State and he was he was standing on the practice field. I talked him, I talked to them about it. He was like, no, that's not that's kind of not what we're doing though, like there's we really think there's a lot of merit behind this model. I of course disagree, but at least he was. 00:22:08 Speaker 4: In their shoes. What's the merit of they think? Because that's insane, well. 00:22:13 Speaker 1: Awesome for the viewer, Like how awesome that? 00:22:16 Speaker 4: But it really wouldn't. 00:22:16 Speaker 3: Yeah, but but it really wouldn't. 00:22:18 Speaker 4: Why not be more football, more meaningless regular season games, totally meaningless, totally text Then you'd be starting to think, like, okay, somebody, you know, we could arrest certain guys in certain games, like truly regular season games get very diluted. 00:22:35 Speaker 5: My big fear was when we expanded to twelve, that was going to happen. But it really has not happened to the degree I was scared it would happen. 00:22:42 Speaker 3: So it has been awesome. 00:22:43 Speaker 5: So like we're good at twelve. We're good. So my biggest fears were not realized. Fingers were crossed, biggest fears not realized. If you move to twenty four just to give you an idea of what we're talking about here, like Texas is squarely in a twenty fourteen playoff with room to lose another game. If we're talking about a twenty fourteen playoff. So think about the urgency that is removed from that Texas Georgia game last week. The best commodity college football has to me is regular season games. So I got to come at it from that position. If you're a playoff guy, if you're the kind of person who says, like college basketball, I start watching in March, or in football, I start watching in December, you probably don't feel the way I do. But if you're a big fan of regular season, like fall Saturdays, and that's the most precious thing, you got to protect that thing. This is really easy to see like they want more money, so the bigger playoff would print more money for them. These are not people who share the same sentiment about college football being great that I would or you would, or you would. They don't necessarily care about the Fall Saturday stuff. They look at P and L, they look at KPI, they look at the kind of stuff you would hear in a boardroom, which is okay. I just don't prefer those kinds of people having their hands on the wheel of college football. The last two big ideas the Big Ten have had had totally sucked. Michigan and USC stood up to one of them. And put a kebash for the time being on the private equity money infusion. 00:24:00 Speaker 1: Yeah, I still don't fully understand that whole thing. 00:24:02 Speaker 5: You don't need to. It's just terrible. So then the second thing is, hey, if we can't get that and then let's expand the playoff to twenty four. It also looks like that's going to crash and burn. Like I watched for quite a while, Kevin Warren be one of the worst Power Conference commissioners I'd ever seen, and so when the Big Ten replaced Kevin Warren, I thought, Hey, nowhere to go but up. I can't even tell the difference. So that's where we are right now. 00:24:25 Speaker 4: I have one last one because as we were talking about the collegewall Playoff, the SEC Championship in particular, like seeing that Alabama is they're more likely going to be in the SEC Championship, And I agree with you. It's like, if they win the SEC Championship, they take down top four team in A and M. Like valuing the SEC champion and the wins that Alabama has on the resume would warrant a top four seed. My question would be if they go into the SEC Championship and they lose. 00:24:54 Speaker 3: They're out of it. 00:24:55 Speaker 5: Yeah, there's no way. There's no way I could not see it. There's no way to let it happen. They didn't let it happen to SMU. 00:25:02 Speaker 4: Last year, ASMU loss and they ended up a two loss team. 00:25:07 Speaker 5: But what I'm saying is a two loss Alabama would still be viewed above and beyond a one loss SMU because of the conference they went through and because of the number of ranked teams they played. So if Alabama like what you're saying to paint the picture for people who aren't like thinking with the rankings board in their head, Bama's ten right now. They beat Auburn. I don't know if they would climber, and let's say they climbed to nine, but they're nine or ten, so they're right there on the ball. 00:25:31 Speaker 3: They'll probably jump Notre Dame. 00:25:33 Speaker 5: But let's say they do. 00:25:34 Speaker 3: So let's say, yeah, the Notre Dame Miami. 00:25:36 Speaker 5: You're saying they go to Atlanta as as the nine seats, so they're in the playoff bubble as they go to Atlanta in the conference championship game in the SEC, so they've earned the right to play an extra game. Ole mess sits at home that week. George just sits at home that week, just knowing they're safe in the playoff. Alabama loses that extra game, they earn the right to be in. And some are saying, and you're floating the scenario they fall out because they have another loss, And what I'm telling you is the kind of the same point I was making a little while ago. If they win the game and they're not put in the top four, you greatly deluded the value of your conference title game. Even if one of your participants loses the game, if they drop out of the playoff because they lost a game they earned the right to play in, you have completely like you've taken a blowtorch to your conference championship game. And the point I was making is SMU was in that spot last year. SMU played a way weaker schedule last year than BAMA. That's why I would say a one loss SMU two loss Alabama comparable. SMU went in the ACC title game right on the bubble and they lost to Clemson, and going into selection Sunday, that was the big talking point, are they going to drop SMU behind Bama or Ole Miss or South Carolina? And they didn't even drop them. So no, I've seen a lot of people agree with you. I would have to see that to believe it. There's just no way I could see that. I'm not saying, you're not saying it's right, You're saying it could happen right right, just. 00:27:00 Speaker 4: Because where my brain goes, like, let's just if you pretend that Vandy win's out there, two loss team, you got Oklahoma, if they went out there. 00:27:07 Speaker 5: You could have USC Oregon there. You could have a bunch of Notre Dame. Like there's a logjam potentially if two loss teams, Brigham Young could be there, Utah could be there. I'm saying, like, I know, someone's got to make it, and a bunch of people have to be left out. 00:27:20 Speaker 4: That's more so what that's That's more where I'm coming from is they would have the three loss and you know, obviously you're playing a bunch of hypotheticals right now, but it's realistically, if if everybody else stays course, you're looking at Ohio State, Indiana, Oregon, then you're looking at Vandy, Georgia. 00:27:37 Speaker 5: I don't know the Vandy's guaranteed if they went out. 00:27:40 Speaker 4: I'm saying in the scenario that Bama goes and loses the SEC champions. 00:27:43 Speaker 5: Yeah, oh yeah, you're talking about the teams they be fighting against. 00:27:45 Speaker 4: Yeah, you'd have four SEC teams. You'd have two that are two loss. Would be Miami up there too, Yeah, because you're gonna have to have the ACC champion in there. 00:27:53 Speaker 5: Michigan could be up there. Oh, absolutely, Michigan could be up there. 00:27:57 Speaker 3: Yeah. 00:27:57 Speaker 4: It creates a whole Do you guys go to the Big Ten Championship if you beat Ohio State. 00:28:02 Speaker 1: I think it has to do with if USC. If USC beats Oregon this week, I think the answer to that is no, because then I think they have the tie break. Yeah, yeah, because they'd be a two loss that's right. But if Oregon beats USC, we have the tie break over Ohio State because we're only one loss in our conference. 00:28:20 Speaker 3: I could be getting that wrong. 00:28:21 Speaker 5: I don't know about the Big Ten tiebreaker. There's a three way would get back. 00:28:26 Speaker 4: If Oregon beats USC, there's still a one loss team they lost to Indiana, there's still a one lost team in the Big Ten. 00:28:31 Speaker 5: There's a world where USC, Michigan, and Ohio State are all one loss Big Ten teams. Because Michigan's are the losses Oklahoma, Oregon would be a two loss team. There, two lost Big ten teams, so they're not going You're asking, like, so we got the tiebreaker of Ohio State. Ohio State has a tiebreaker of I know, so I don't know the Big ten tiebreaker scenarios. But if Oregon wins this weekend and then you guys go beat Ohio State, all of a sudden, you're in Indy. We're asking the same question that he was asking about all the Bama. 00:29:00 Speaker 1: I think that's way more interesting because Alabama, I think there's you you can easily see them staying in it. But with Michigan team, who's been inconsistent this year, we're seeing around the eighteen like we're far away from the bubble. 00:29:11 Speaker 5: How much do you show the bubble? If you beat o highest states that's the top ten ten, nine eight, then that's the same question if you jumped, if you jumped to number ten. 00:29:22 Speaker 1: I think six seven is a little too far, that's true, but I think you're ten nine eight kind of situation. You go, you play Indiana. Let's say you lose to Indiana. Let's say you lose by double digits. 00:29:32 Speaker 5: To Indiana, but you were in the top ten, but you're going under the game. You're not dropping out. 00:29:37 Speaker 4: See that. That's it's going crazy in the worst. 00:29:41 Speaker 1: Case, like you you Beatleha State, go to the Big Ten Championship and you lose that game. 00:29:45 Speaker 3: By double digits. 00:29:46 Speaker 1: There's just multiple touchdowns like where it's like, oh, these are these teams are not in the same world. 00:29:51 Speaker 5: You can't let it happen if you want to maintain the sanctity value whatever you want to say. 00:29:56 Speaker 1: If you're in the same position next year and you're you look at Michigan, you're like, well, don't want to play. 00:30:00 Speaker 3: In the Big Than Championship. 00:30:01 Speaker 5: Yeah, well you're looking at your conference commissioners and your league ads and you're saying, So, what you're telling me if we had just been Georgia or Ole miss or if we had just been Oregon or any of our at large teams and we've just not been good enough to get to the conference title game, it would have been better for us. If you say, yes, why why do I even show up to play a conference title game? Like why don't I boycott the game? Why would I even go? Why would my fan base want to be there. Why would my players want to be there. You're going to punish us for earning a reward, That's really what you're doing. 00:30:32 Speaker 4: So if we want maximum chaos in college football, we need Michigan and Bama both going to the going to their championship games and losing and then sitting back and seeing what Selection Sunday looks like. 00:30:43 Speaker 5: And you want what you want. You want Miami to win. You want Miami to blow out Pitt so that you could have the comparison, the comparative pool comparison with your notre name Miami name. Also what would help is if BYU is in the top ten and they go to the Big twelve championship game and lose, lose, because that could be three of them. It could be Bama, Michigan, and Brigham Young all in the same situation. 00:31:07 Speaker 4: Just a gun to the committee, what decisions are you gonna make? 00:31:13 Speaker 5: All right, let's dive in, boys, let's dive in thirty minutes. 00:31:18 Speaker 1: So we gotta kind of rip, we gotta kind of go light. 00:31:21 Speaker 4: It's light we got we got you know, no disrespect Pitt, Georgia Tech, some diff you were added. 00:31:26 Speaker 1: Fourteen Michael Bolt Trump Superiors we're playing for a couple of weeks ago, I was sitting there and I was two three matches down in its Will Compton. Now I'm seven to six, so we will now play for a Michelo bultrro. This is the highlight of my week every single week. Are you ready? 00:31:45 Speaker 3: Yeah? 00:31:46 Speaker 1: You know where you're going. 00:31:47 Speaker 4: I'm gonna go rock. 00:31:49 Speaker 1: Okay, precisions shoot eight and six. 00:31:54 Speaker 3: I would have fell. 00:31:55 Speaker 4: Back like you were in a wheelchair, would have fell back. 00:31:57 Speaker 3: I just gotta tell you what. 00:31:58 Speaker 1: That's a classic. I think George we'll talk about on our podcast how he's like you tell people what they're going and gets in their mind so much that they go to the opposite and you still do what you said you were gonna do. 00:32:06 Speaker 3: Now I was the literally thing I'm gonna throw rock. 00:32:10 Speaker 1: I see that now, Sapiors. We're playing for Michelobultra Superior Light Beer. 00:32:17 Speaker 4: Missouri goes to Oklahoma. Right now, Oklahoma is favored by seven and a half. The over under on this game is forty two and a half. 00:32:27 Speaker 3: Dylan, what do you got here? 00:32:28 Speaker 1: Oh? I got I'm going to take Oklahoma. When you look at both these teams, what does Missouri do so well. They run the ball incredibly well. Oklahoma is the number two defense in all of college football rush defense. So when I look at those two things, I believe I'm using this correctly. This is a crow bar theory type that could happen in this game where Missouri walks in their hopes and dreams of a playoff is over, and quickly they find out that this defense is really good and they could just be like you know what, maybe not consciously, but subcont justly. They've been the need of this type of situations. I think John Mattier has played better. I think getting a win over Alabama. There's two things that can happen when you get a win over Alabama. You can drink the kool aid way too much and sleep on that win it ends up in a loss this week against Missouri, or you can say, oh, we're a legitimate playoff contending team. Now we have to go finish the way we're supposed to finish the rest of the year. John Mattier has gotten better. That Oklahoma defense is incredible, and I think Oklahoma's best matches up well with Missouri's best. Bo Prebulah. They're saying he may or may not play this week. I don't think that matters very much in the passing. Statistically passing, Missouri's in the hundreds, so I don't think that changes a whole lot. They did a good job. 00:33:41 Speaker 3: Bow was playing. 00:33:41 Speaker 4: I think it changes big time because zals like he couldn't one thing. 00:33:46 Speaker 3: We talked about. Pennsylvania been right about Zalars. 00:33:49 Speaker 4: He couldn't piss in a pool with the full bladder and nobody around like the guy has You look at his pox score in his games. 00:33:55 Speaker 3: It's tough. 00:33:56 Speaker 4: They are incredible running the football. Top ten rushing attack. 00:33:59 Speaker 1: I'll be taking ollaholme up minus seven and a half. 00:34:01 Speaker 3: Is bo Do you know? 00:34:03 Speaker 4: Are you like an Adam Schefter in the college football world. 00:34:06 Speaker 5: No, I don't even have tattoos. I'm nowhere close to shot. I got nothing. I don't know if he's gonna play. I don't think. I think he may be a game time decision. But I agree like if he plays or if he's good, if he's cleared to play, is it him starting, Like is it him playing all seventy snaps. I don't know that that's the case, and I don't know how like I don't know how big the gap is, in other words, between QB one and QB two at Missouri. There's a reason the guy was QB one. Yes, I trust him to throw the ball more. But their their bread and butter is a term I hate. Their Their only way to win this game is by running the ball Hardy had three hundred on the ground last week against Mississippi State. Now they finally like they finally clicked offensively a little bit. Mississippi State's probably mailed the season then. 00:34:49 Speaker 4: So in their run defense it's been tough. We saw majority in the triple digits the entire year. 00:34:54 Speaker 5: So I think a lot of people are wondering why this line is what it is. A lot of people looked at this and said they would guessed Oklahoma minus double digits. I think the public would have guessed that Missouri backup quarterback playoff dreams out the window. Oklahoma just beat Bama. It's going to be a home game for Oklahoma. Seven and a half is a low number, But I think what people need to realize is Missouri does a lot of stuff really good defensively too, and Oklahoma hasn't shown the ability to pull away in games offensively. So in a way, It's kind of the total inverse of last week's Oklahoma game. Oklahoma goes to Obama and Oklahoma's great run defense. Bama can't run the ball anyway, so it's all about what Oklahoma can do against the pass. And Bama got theirs through the air, but it came with turnovers. So this week team can't throw the ball to save their lives. It's all about can we stand up against the run. There's no world where where Missouri is like dominating this game on the ground. There is a world where they do just enough on the ground to where they balance out field position. Like last week, I think Bama started eight or note or nine drives inside their twenty, so Oklahoma just tilted the field on them all day and they eventually made them paid for it with a loss. Missouri can do that kind of stuff like Missouri's very frustrating their top twenty pass and run defense, and Oklahoma is like bottom half to bottom two thirds of the country in every major offensive statistic. So if you're wondering how this game could be a game towards the end, it's because it could be like a sixteen to twelve type game in the fourth quarter to where like one ball batted up in the air and taken to the house is the difference. You can't predict that kind of stuff, like how do you predict a punt return or a muffed punt or or like oh, you punching a ball out on Ryan Williams last week. That's how I think this game comes down. So in a game that's really compacted like that, Like I looked at some of these, they're both in the eighties and turnover margin, they're both top twenty and third down defense, they're both top fifteen in sacks. Those are the factors that will probably change the game, and there's no statistical edge there. I think oh U is way better at fuel position than Missouri is. So the way I looked at this is I would take Oklahoma if we were picking the winner anything above a touchdown, I would take the underdog in the points. So I think it's going to surprise some people the way this game plays out and how competitive Missouri is relatively speaking in it. So I'll take Missouri plus the points. Don't feel great about them winning the game though, Miszoo. 00:37:14 Speaker 4: Could you know they they're in the mo where they can ruin somebody's seasons. 00:37:18 Speaker 3: Sure, still playing for a lot of ball. 00:37:19 Speaker 4: And just to add to your because that was well said about their top twenty in past defense, top fifteen run defense, in sack percenters their third And when I look back and seeing kind of the running quarterbacks that Massoo's played, Pave only had twenty seven on the ground, Daniels from Kansas only had twenty five on the ground. Jackson Arnold only had fourteen yards on the ground from seventeen attempts. I like missou here, Willie Boy. I went in there Sunday. When the line came out, it was eight and a half. I got it at plus eight and a half. I'm still taking the plus seven and a half. I like missou here to cover. I still think Oklahoma wins, just because again it's hard to kind of quantify what special teams and turnovers does in a game, being able to flip the field and control the line of scrims and MATERII. He's only thrown for one two hundred yard plus game since the Red River rivalry, and I just think Missoo's gonna do well as far as getting after the passer, getting after the passer, going back and forth defensively with them, zalars, he will not be able to, you know, win through the air. 00:38:14 Speaker 5: Whatsoever he's gonna throw for over one hundred he might. 00:38:17 Speaker 4: He might have a stat line of one oh three yeah, one o three twelve for fifteen one explosive play, one explosive play that they need. They're guessing run here. Maybe they pop for a play action or a screen that takes probably a fat gentleman as zero blitz or something like that. Uh, but yeah, I got Missoo. Keeping a close Missoo could upset him, but I'm gonna take him with the points. 00:38:37 Speaker 5: This is an eleven am kickoff. It's the same time window as last week's South Carolina A and M game. Just if anyone is ready to be surprised by an early kickoff, don't get surprised by this stuff. 00:38:51 Speaker 3: So you're saying Missoo would go up thirty three by. 00:38:53 Speaker 5: Halftime, No, no one would let happen to them what South Carolina let happen in them. He's not even making an eye contact with. 00:39:00 Speaker 1: He said, I don't even. 00:39:04 Speaker 5: I mean that was I felt so bad. I felt so bad. I rarely text the prayer hand emojis, but I texted. 00:39:10 Speaker 1: Them, did you at what point did you send the prayer hand emjis after the game or before the game ended? 00:39:17 Speaker 5: Long after the game end? 00:39:18 Speaker 1: Okay, because what I take the JP of seven minutes left in the fourth eleven? 00:39:23 Speaker 5: Do you still have unopened texts? Yeah? I figured Shane Bieber two. Yeah, I'm so sorry. 00:39:34 Speaker 4: I'm sorry. 00:39:35 Speaker 1: Sorry. Yeah, all right, So Missouri Missouri Oklahoma Separation Saturday Party. 00:39:41 Speaker 3: Part five, here we go. 00:39:44 Speaker 4: Now. 00:39:44 Speaker 1: I know that you go you two and three every single week. I just got to find myself on the side of your two. 00:39:48 Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what you're doing. That's what you're doing. You're trying to find the forty percent here. That's what you're trying to do. 00:39:53 Speaker 2: Right. 00:39:53 Speaker 1: The issue is is, Okay, I've gone opposite of you once and we're just the first game. So I really need to be smart about where I go on ball left in the ball left in the show. 00:40:03 Speaker 3: I don't know how you guys feel. 00:40:04 Speaker 4: Like obviously, three and two, like if you're sitting around five hundred, three and two is always like just a good it's a good record if everybody else is two and three. But nothing just gets me, like to me, even if I was three and two, Like I want to see the four and one. To me four and one, it's like domination or above. I feel like undefeat is way too rare. 00:40:22 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but it's nothing. It's nothing to call home. 00:40:25 Speaker 4: You're kind of sitting back like, at least I got the winning percentage on everybody if anybody kind of talks ship. But the way you actually feel about yourself, you're like, man, I gotta get four in one. 00:40:33 Speaker 1: There's nothing to sit there and be like truly proud of that four and one, five and oh. 00:40:37 Speaker 5: At this point, if I go five and oh, your first question is, what did you know? 00:40:41 Speaker 3: Yeah? Has anybody gotten five and o this year? No? 00:40:46 Speaker 5: Has there been an five? You had one, didn't you? Delaney? 00:40:49 Speaker 6: Well? 00:40:49 Speaker 4: Has Delanney been over in the NFL show? Did you get an over in college? 00:40:53 Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah, you know I did go. 00:40:55 Speaker 5: On It was a Michigan US to day. It was the Michigan You. 00:41:00 Speaker 1: Well, it's been what I've been above five hundred efer since then. 00:41:03 Speaker 5: Right, so not quite bad. 00:41:07 Speaker 3: So I was doing a real his finger. 00:41:13 Speaker 1: I guess not, Josh, want you to take this one since I know nothing clump about this game? Uh pitt at number sixteen Georgia Tech Georgia K's favored minus two and a half total points in the game sixty one a half as an individual that has not with in this game and was it Nardoozy his conversation, they could be just about one hundred three games that matter are these next two games. This is one of the two games that he says these are all that matter. I hate that I would lean Georgia Tech to cover that in this situation. Do you want to talk me off that ledge? 00:41:46 Speaker 5: No, I feel like we're going to be on a legend no matter what I mean. You're either taking the guy who mailed in a game last week or you're taking a team that struggled to beat Boston College. Either way, it's bad. So we're looking for the least of the bad here. I have taken a completely different approach on this game. I could bring you numbers. I could have I could have, you know, written a little mind map like a psychopath, a bunch of highlighters paper that's getting me two and three every week. So I mean, I'm in the mode where I want to go favorite mascot, favorite uniform colors. Do you play on turf for grass? Just coin flip, because that's better than two and three. As you know, I think there is a game out there for like Brent Key and Georgia Tech. They've just been like getting by. They've they've been like keeping their head above water, and I keep waiting for him to do like a poor man's version of what Georgia did last week. Georgia has been playing close games and then all of a sudden, they just like like hulked up on Texas, And I keep waiting for Georgia Tech to do like the ACC's version of that. It's like a middle school kid who first started working out and he's flexing in the mirror and you're like, yeah, I mean for a middle school kid, that looks good, that's kind of what I'm looking for. 00:42:49 Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm just I got to get this se elevated a little bit on. Okay, I'm in hell. 00:42:57 Speaker 4: Taylor staring at you and he's doing his best lesson, but he's got so a war is happening. 00:43:02 Speaker 1: There could be there could be a whole clip made of my face just while. 00:43:05 Speaker 5: You George, and you didn't blink, and I started a water. That's why I'm not I'm not okay. 00:43:11 Speaker 3: Man, I think that. 00:43:13 Speaker 1: I mean, I'm so not okay that I'm locking my seat in place. 00:43:17 Speaker 5: Yeah, no, I know how you feel like I mightly strained my neck yesterday. So we're gonna say, dude, how shitty is a little neck kink? Though it's bad? Honestly, if we want to this, we'd love to take five minutes of the show and talk about it like I don't. I'm not great either. Look at this, I'm not great either. 00:43:31 Speaker 1: You look great? 00:43:32 Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you, buddy. I'm taking Georgia Tech minus the points. I think they're gonna middle school flex all right, Brick, he loves when you talk about him like that. Just a just a solid middle school gem mirror flex here. You're still a little lean. You haven't had the chance for your metabolism to slow down. You don't have a gut or anything, but you're just just a little popcorn muscle flex here for Georgia Tech. That's the extent of my analysis on this game. 00:43:57 Speaker 3: I'll take bit. I'll take bit for me. 00:43:59 Speaker 4: I guess anything I wanted to know is that Nardoozi last week didn't matter to him. They were probably scripting practice plays for Georgia Tech. Because these games are are all that matters. I'm taking Pitt because I want chaos in the ACC. I want to beat up on the ACC fans when Pitt beats Georgia Tech and then we have all these multiple loss teams and we can just sit here and I can yell from the top of the mountain that only Miami deserves to get in from the ACC. So I'm going with Pitt. I'm going with chaos, and I like Pitt against a Georgia Tech team he struggled against Boston College is struggling against wake Forest who's Georgia Tech lost. 00:44:28 Speaker 5: To Georgia Tech has lost to NC State in the NC State. 00:44:35 Speaker 3: Yea, n C State, We know NC State. They're five and five, Like what do. 00:44:38 Speaker 5: We what do we do? They've beaten Virginia and Georgia Tech. 00:44:41 Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, like yeah, I'm taking Pitta. 00:44:46 Speaker 1: So Georgia Tech minus two and a half, minus two and a half Georgia Tech pit money line plus two and a half. That's what I've heard, Pit money a line plus two and a half. Okay, so you don't you want chaos but not that bad? 00:44:57 Speaker 4: Yeah, listen, Pit plus two and a half. 00:44:59 Speaker 3: You know what? 00:44:59 Speaker 4: Fu Okay, go ahead, you can. 00:45:04 Speaker 3: Yeah, that actually money line. 00:45:07 Speaker 1: I just baited Will into that. It worked. 00:45:09 Speaker 2: But that's why Pitt's you did. 00:45:13 Speaker 4: And I knew the bait was out there, but I just grabbed the bait and I just I just jumped. I jumped into your boat, and I say, cut me the fuck open, dude, this is exactly what I want. 00:45:23 Speaker 5: Let me tell you who that doesn't work on It is Paton R. Doozy. You're telling me this is the must win. That's exactly what I'm telling you. 00:45:29 Speaker 1: Dude. 00:45:31 Speaker 5: You don't want this one, not all that money hundred I don't give a ship. 00:45:35 Speaker 4: We're focused on Georgia Tech. 00:45:36 Speaker 1: That was that not the easiest bet of the week last week? 00:45:38 Speaker 5: Yeah? Oh my god. 00:45:41 Speaker 1: Just that, Like the fact that he's talking so big. If they really are scripting Georgia Tech plays, I hope they lose by a. 00:45:47 Speaker 5: Multiple, maybe like twenty four a halftime. 00:45:49 Speaker 1: Because what he's doing is essentially was your fear when they went to a twelve game of the game, the mockery of the game. Every game in college football is a must win, and he made a mockery of you in your stance, and for that reason, I gotta stay on my boys. I'm a Fox whole guy. Georgia kat Pit money line. 00:46:09 Speaker 3: I'm just laughing as pat. Yeah, I didn't bet it, and I'm just thinking, so free money. 00:46:13 Speaker 5: Not for me, yeah for everybody else though. 00:46:15 Speaker 4: Some of the bets I made over the weekend, Like I didn't bet on, I took my unit from Broncos Chiefs and put it. I doubled down on Detroit. I took Detroit money line. Then I also took another side quest bet of Detroit minus nine and a half. 00:46:30 Speaker 3: Just for just where they're gonna win by double digit. 00:46:32 Speaker 4: So I'm just sitting there like, God, damn it, God gut it. 00:46:36 Speaker 1: It gets the the Eagles Man. This next game is never twenty Tennessee at the Swamp at Florida. I would love to hear from our number one Florida fan, Jeremy Clump on his views in this game. And then quickly after that we'll turn to Jack McPherson. 00:47:13 Speaker 7: I'll go quick this is Florida money line all day to show Lane Kiffin that it's time to come home and come to Florida. 00:47:20 Speaker 5: Florida money line. 00:47:22 Speaker 8: Yeah, Florida recently lost Jack Tennessee at the Swamp Erey time. 00:47:28 Speaker 6: The last time the Balls beat the Gators in the Swamp, the iPhone did not exist. Nick Saban had never coached a game in Alabama. Facebook was still strictly for college kids. But the one thing that separates this game is that Florida now has the worst possible fan that has tagged along Jeremy Clump. I truly think Jeremy Clump will be the fall in demise of the Florida Gators. 00:47:52 Speaker 5: But it's a really scary one. 00:47:54 Speaker 4: Vall's struggle in the. 00:47:55 Speaker 6: Swamp historically, so I just hope to God that we can get out of their lives. But I do think Clump's gonna truly fucked him over. So yeah, Wolves. 00:48:07 Speaker 4: For Jactang with a banger there. He had me locked in on everything he was saying, I hope the god would get out of there surviving. 00:48:12 Speaker 1: Yeah, that is interesting. They haven't won a game in the swamp since before the iPhone two thousand and three. Last time Tennessee won in the swamp. 00:48:27 Speaker 3: They play every year. 00:48:29 Speaker 5: Yeah, he's just looked up. 00:48:32 Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I I honestly, I have no idea where to go. I want to say this, this whole streak is gonna get broken with Tennessee. But Florida just weirdly pops up out of nowhere at the most random times. The times where it's like, oh, they're a wounded animal. I love wounded animals. Oh they're dead. I love dead animals. Now it's like, okay, they're officially dead animals. I'm gonna get off of it because they're officially dead. Then they win, then they pop one, they keep it close against Georgia. I have no clue to DJ Lagway. He gets benched, he comes out, he has a game. 00:49:02 Speaker 5: I don't know the beautiful thing about these First off, did you make a pick? No, no, you did not make it. 00:49:09 Speaker 1: I'll make a pick. I'm going Tennessee minus three and a half. We gotta understand, like we live in Nashville, Tennessee a lot of fans here. I know there's more Vanderbilt fans popping up now, but for the most part, it's Tennessee. At some point, you gotta be getting the foxhol with these guys and just say enough is enough. I think Jeremy Clump and his fandom, the way he's gone about his fandom is enough to finally change all of that. This whole year, we've kind of waited, like we've wanted Tennessee to get one Alabama Oklahoma, like we're just like, hey, we gotta we gotta get one. And this is the one, dude, this is the one that's gonna happen. Florida going and it's a bad Tennessee secondary but DJ Lagway, he's as inconsistent as they come. So I'm gonna I'm gonna go with Tennessee. Tennessee has a very unique, great defensive game. Through the year, they have a unique, great defensive game. So I'm gonna take Tennessee. This is gonna be This is gonna be a big win for them. The talk about hypel possibly should be gone in Tennessee is so blasphemous to me. That is crazy, especially the world we're living right now. 00:50:13 Speaker 5: Allegedly, it hasn't really been said. That's what the message boards. Hasn't really been said. I imagined reading that in my email inbox. I imagined that and people. 00:50:22 Speaker 1: But have you heard a whisper at all? 00:50:24 Speaker 5: Heard more than whispers yet? Wow? 00:50:26 Speaker 1: But it has not been said. 00:50:27 Speaker 5: It's been said by psychos. I'm just saying psychos exist like those. It's not. It is a minority of the fan base, but it's not a one percent. It's not a one percent. Yeah, maybe like a five percent. 00:50:39 Speaker 4: This is the more middle of America rational brains start to think about our start to get involved in that conversation. If they lose to Florida. 00:50:47 Speaker 5: Could lose to Vandy the next week too. Yeah, this is an important stretch for them, extremely Yeah. 00:50:53 Speaker 1: I mean these next two games, they haven't won the Swamps two thousand and three, and they got They'll play Vandy. Who's hot hot the trot right now and still in the play picture and still in the playoff picture. Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna go Tennessee. Makes the next week that much better, makes that that much more exciting. I'm gonna go Tennessee minus three and a half. 00:51:10 Speaker 5: If you're out of the playoff race, which Tennessee is, there's always the risk of you know, your players mail in the season. I'm not saying this is a Tennessee problem. This is like a college football problem. The reason I love them to stay dialed in is because if I'm out of the playoff picture, it's so great for me that I've got two rivalry games as my last two games, because that's the best shot I've got to keep in my locker room dialed in. Like we're not gonna make the playoff, we could go down to Florida and do something no Tennessee team has done in over two decades, and then we could like just clown stomp our little in state neighbor over in Nashville and knock them out of the playoff. That's a lot of reason to stay bought in. I think that's gonna work. I think Hypel's a really good coach. I think they'll they're gonna go down there. And the old version of me, the two and three version of me, would have picked Florida. Here two and three version of me overthinks the room had one down there, and you're giving me three and a half points. I can even lose last second field go. I could lose, like like Tennessee to the Georgia. I could lose and still cover. Nope, Nope, we're gonna win by a seven or more. So give me to Tennessee to win, Tennessee to cover. 00:52:10 Speaker 4: I'll jump in with you, guys. G b O gb O minus three and a half. 00:52:14 Speaker 8: Clump eight week clumb heay week, clump eight week clumpay week, Oh clump, caring about me? Go to the hospital you might be I care about you. 00:52:25 Speaker 2: You're a good person. Whatever, dude, each ship. Dude, Tennessee's beating your ass. 00:52:29 Speaker 4: This week we got BYU ranked eleven in the country going out to Cincinnati b YU favored by two and a half. The over under on this game is fifty four and a half. Does Cincinnati have a shot the. 00:52:42 Speaker 3: Real BYU season? 00:52:43 Speaker 1: The last two games they played Arizona lost that game, B, Why you played Arizona? B? Why you beat them? And then they got destroyed by Utah. It was it forty one to fourteen. It was ugly, ugly. 00:52:57 Speaker 3: Ben Soersby wasn't looking good. One looking good. Think his name is Brendan, but it's been now. 00:53:01 Speaker 2: I just think I just think BYU is a more consistent team. 00:53:06 Speaker 1: They got they got their ass beat by Texas Tech. I think they want to get their ass beat again by tex absolutely big twelve. So I'm gonna go BYU min straight half. They have more to play for there. I mean, see you want about American Prime Evil. That's a well coached team. They don't make a whole lot of mistakes. Cincinnati is, you know, very flashy at times. Sowersby Swors be very flashy at times. But I like I like BYU minus two and a half here. 00:53:34 Speaker 4: I'm taking the over over fifty four and a half. I'm looking points, prime time game, a lot on the line. Yeah, my boy Ben Silersby, he's been kind of rattled the last two weeks. I'll see it get back game here because he went on a run there he was what over two thousand a billion touchdowns? Yeah, well so he gets back to that form a little bit, just enough to get the over. I do think BYU wins this game. I like offense. I like offense Night game in Cincinnati. 00:54:01 Speaker 5: The old me rides with you, not on the total, but on Cincinnati. The old me thinks all right, so you've disappointed. This is a double duo up spot. In gambling terms, Brigham Young's always been a little overrated point spreads versus what they're ranked. But you know what the model did this week? For the first time, the Model, the JP Pole introduced Brigham Young at number seventeen. They haven't been in the Model all year. They haven't been in the JP Pole all year. I just think, say what you want about American primevil. This is a hard no squad. Yeah, it's tough to sell on them. And so old me two and three meter is going Cincinnati. But the new me, the four and one this week version of me, perhaps five and zero, is going to go Brigham Young, lay the points on the road, dangerous spot primetime in Cincinnati. I mean, it was the last team that won a primetime game in Cincinnati's home stadium. Don't know, we don't as it ever happened. We don't know it's going to happen this week though. 00:54:58 Speaker 3: I don't know. 00:54:59 Speaker 2: Man. 00:54:59 Speaker 5: Yeah, no one loves BYU football like I do. That's what I'm trying to say. Yeah, that's well documented. 00:55:04 Speaker 1: Say what you want about American Prime evil good both well kind of look in the mirror. 00:55:07 Speaker 4: Do you feel like your model did to get on board with BYU. 00:55:11 Speaker 5: I think last week was the most impressive game they've had all year. They beat Utah. But I'm not going to make an excuses here. I'm saying from a predictive standpoint, like from a modeling standpoint, when you're plus two in the turnover battle, a predictive model looks at that and says, good for you. That's not necessarily the best indication. You're going to duplicate that moving forward. But then they went to Iowa State. I think they were like plus four turnovers plus three turnovers. A predictive model still looks at that. This is why BYU fans get so mad at the modeling crowd, because BYU is so good at winning games and winning the turnover battle, and yet the predictive modeling and the point spread crowd they don't fully respect it. Last week they got TCU in their home building. The line was three and a half and they smoked them. There was nothing fluky about it. I'm not saying the other results were fluky. I'm saying, even from a predictive standpoint, they just took Utah and TCU and vice scriptum. So last week's result from a modeling standpoint was actually the most authentic, true dominant performance that a computer will have seen them have all year. That's why all of a sudden, like they're in top number seventeen and they go on the road here and they're still favored. People look at this and think it's a small point spread. A couple of weeks ago, BYU was projected to be a point spread underdog in this game at Cincinnati. That's so things have changed in the last couple of weeks. 00:56:27 Speaker 3: New flavor of BYU right now. 00:56:28 Speaker 5: And you say what you want about American primevil. It's not easy to go on the road and win in the big twelve. Yeah, and they've done it. 00:56:34 Speaker 3: Yeah. 00:56:35 Speaker 1: I'm one and two betting against BYU. This is the first time I bet four by I'm excited to see how it turns out. I'm excited to see how it all turns out. 00:56:43 Speaker 4: We got a true classic game of the week. Every Saturday's got games, but only one that's just right. This is true Classics game of the Week. This true classic game of the Week is brought to us by True Classic. That's the first time two years ago I came across True Classic. I spent about eight hundred dollars on the site to shot for my brothers and my dad, and that's how we got hooked up with True Classic. 00:57:19 Speaker 3: Look good, Feel good. 00:57:20 Speaker 5: Play Good. 00:57:21 Speaker 4: Let's get to the Game of the week USC at Oregon going out to Eugene, Oregon. Lincoln Riley versus Dan Lanning, Oregon's favorite in this game by nine and a half. The over under on this game, the total in points is fifty nine and a half. Our boy, Dan Lanning's in another big one. Bellas another big one. 00:57:39 Speaker 5: Josh, I don't want to start. You don't want to I want to defer? Okay, can I defer? 00:57:44 Speaker 3: You can defer? Do you want to go? 00:57:45 Speaker 1: You want me to go? 00:57:46 Speaker 4: I mean we know, I feel like we know where we're going. Where are you going Oregon to cover? 00:57:52 Speaker 3: Yeah? 00:57:52 Speaker 4: Of course, like I'm riding with the Oregon Ducks. 00:57:54 Speaker 1: I'm going USC plus nine and a half. Oh no, I think Oregon wins this game. 00:57:59 Speaker 4: I think so there doesn't We don't even need to talk. There is no messaging out there of the ship talking. For Dan Lanning, it's it's happening. 00:58:06 Speaker 1: Right now, it's not happening. It's like, what is what have we done to get to this point? In Northwestern we picked them to cover, they didn't ever. Indiana we picked them to cover, they lost. Iowa. We picked them the cover, they didn't cover. So for me, I think Oregon. The most surprising thing to me was when I'm looking up stats last night is seeing them as far as like yards per tem when it comes to the rush, like six point seven or something like that, they are like top three. Jesus Christ, these guys with the six seven I think USC. Jordan Mylotta left tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles. He won't be playing that game, but Jaden Mayava he will be playing this game. I think those two wide receivers, they're explosive enough and they handle business enough to keep this game within one score. I believe the Ducks win this game, but I'm gonna take USC plus nine a half. Both these teams are sitting in a have to have a situation. 00:59:02 Speaker 3: Yeah, because there's a special USC. 00:59:04 Speaker 4: A lot of the college football world saying Oregon drops this game, they could be out of the collegetable layoff. 00:59:10 Speaker 3: Yeah, as a two lost, big ten. 00:59:11 Speaker 1: Dan knows that no one's gonna have their team more prepared than Dan Lanning. I think US c. 00:59:15 Speaker 4: Well, I think you're saying he'll haven't prepared enough, but not to cover. 00:59:17 Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's he'll have them prepared enough. I mean, this whole year has been Oregon almost covering for us. We've we've done thirteen shows on college football, and I think they've been a part of the show six or seven times. 00:59:29 Speaker 5: Yep. 00:59:31 Speaker 1: However, I think they've only covered one or two of those. 00:59:35 Speaker 4: You have a question mark with Dan and covering for us. 00:59:37 Speaker 1: I have a question mark with Dan covering for us. And it's not me hating. It's the proof and the proofs in the pudding, like. 00:59:44 Speaker 3: I have, you are what you are. Your record gets to spread with us. 00:59:47 Speaker 1: You are what you are Week thirteen, Like you expect me for you to be different. Now, I would love to be wrong in the situation. We're streaming the game this Saturday. We're having a nice little breakfast stream on Saturday. You're more than all you're traveling breakfast stream. I will be rooting for organ if they cover nine and a half. I'm happy to have that as my one when I go four and one this week, when we go four and one this week, but I'll be taking I'm taking USC to keep this game close. This game is extremely important to both teams, like win or go home type of situation with both these teams. And I think it's close. I think it's exciting. I think Oregon Ducks come out with it, but I think it's close. 01:00:23 Speaker 5: Do you do you know what this is? Do you think this paper tells the truth? Or do you think it's lying? Let me tell you what the paper says. It's unfair for me to force you to answer before I tell you Oregan's got the number one pass defense in the country. Is it lying or is it telling the truth? Because last week Pitt had the number three run defense in the country and it was right. So is this paper lying or is it telling the truth? 01:00:48 Speaker 4: I'm trying to rite out for everybody that they've played. It could be more of a fluff that That to me when you say number one pass defense in the country, that reminds me of Nebraska going in to the big game play when we played some I was gonna say some ducks, but some duds. 01:01:02 Speaker 5: Could I give you some context. Five of the seven Power four offenses Oregon has faced have been one hundredth or worse in pass offense. Paper could be lying, Paper could be lying. If it's lying, I got a kid by the name of Lemon. I got a kid by the name of Lane who could come in there and do everything that Sarat and Cooper did. You said, no one prepares their team better than Dan Lanning Kurt Signetti did. They went into Aughtson and handled him pretty thoroughly. 01:01:29 Speaker 3: Oh wow, this is just this is all Dan Lanny right here. 01:01:33 Speaker 1: You know Dan watches this show and the tone you're having right now about our boy. 01:01:38 Speaker 4: Hey, keep going. 01:01:39 Speaker 5: Here's the problem. The problem is it's not going to rain in this game. So something's got to get him dialed in. I am a guest of his this weekend. Okay, I will be there Friday, I will be there Saturday. This is nothing I won't say to his face, but they got their pants undone just yanked down against Indiana in Aughtson Stadium. Not supposed to happen. Is anyone ever won in Austin Stadium? I don't think so. It was the first home loss they've ever had. Problem is, Sarratt and Cooper went in there and had fifteen catches for one hundred and seventy nine and a score. Begs the question aren't they facing a better wide receiver combo this week than Indiana had? But the follow up this is where like Dan understands, you got to tear him down to build him back up. He understands that more so than anybody. The follow up to that is, we've watched USC go on the road this year. We watched him go on the road against Illinois, and Illinois ran it for a hefty amount one seventy one. We watched USC go on the road against Notre Dame. Notre Dame handled him. USC went to Nebraska and won. But what was the situation before Dylan Royola went down? 01:02:48 Speaker 4: Nebraska's on top. You know, Dan Lanning's in there right now watching that Nebraska defense. Listen, don't get gashed in the run like we got gash in the run, but to kind of shut down the passing attack. I will help him one undred thirty. I said that USC was going to score forty. 01:03:03 Speaker 5: Oregon last year went wire to wire, number one seed and they end up getting the first round by it didn't matter. They got smashed in the playoffs, and Ohio State conversely peaked at the end of the year in one at all. And I've said to you guys for like six weeks in a row, Oregon, Yeah, they look flawed, but they keep winning. People are little critical of them. We've been mildly critical at times, but I keep saying, you don't give up on a team like that, just like Georgia, you don't give up on a team that's got that much roster talent, because if they rev the engine at the right time, you see the best version of them at the right time. Georgia just did this against Texas. I got a strong suspicion that Oregon's about to do this against USC and against Washington and then they go into the postseason and do whatever they're going to do. But it's the ground game combined with maybe getting healthy at wide receiver at the right time. Keep an eye on the wide receiver health at Oregon and the inability to scale on the road like you USC has at home. I think Oregon's gonna win and cover no repeat of the Indiana game here, and it's my fault because I wasn't there for the Indiana game. But we will not make the same mistake twice. Looks like partly cloudy to mostly cloudy. We're not looking at rain gear. We're just looking at just normal, good old fashioned let's wake up at three am, let's pound seven red bulls, and let's go get a win against the Trojans. That's the style of game. 01:04:24 Speaker 1: What are you wearing for this game? 01:04:25 Speaker 5: I don't know yet, Like. 01:04:27 Speaker 4: Are we gonna get a full cod? And are you gonna you're gonna dump a bucket of water on you before the game. 01:04:33 Speaker 5: I did plan on, in a show of solidarity, wearing cotton, wearing something that's absorbent if it were gonna rain. As it stands now, Kenny Farr, don'ty. You guys know Kenny. We know Kenny love Kenny, Kenny f under the program as it stands now. What I like to do is I like to go to Oregon on a Friday, walk in like a straight up hobo wearing tattered clothes because he'll give you a new wardrobe and so he will probably decide what I wear on Saturday. 01:04:57 Speaker 1: I love that. 01:04:58 Speaker 5: Yeah. 01:04:58 Speaker 4: Basically what this show is saying about the Oregon Ducks if Dan Lanning happens to be watching, But when is Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks gonna wake the fuck up and earn their right to be in this College for All playoff. People are saying that if they drop this game, they're out of the College fort Wall Playoff, Like they will be squeezed out based on their schedule. People are talking to I will win nothing when they're ranked. When they beat Penn State and they were top five, it meant nothing. 01:05:22 Speaker 5: Think about this. This game is Alabama Oklahoma. Last week, Oklahoma goes to Tuscaloosa. Bama's ranked kind of sort of where Oregon is. Oklahoma was ranked kind of sort of where a US he is right now. That was a close game. Oklahoma didn't blow them out. That was a close game. Bama dropped seven spots from like three to ten. If we get a duplicate of that drop, Oregon drops out of the playoff bubble if they lose this game with no guarantee that they can jump back in. So I think what the show is trying to say, if I'm hearing you correctly, is we believe in Oregon, we believe been Dan Lanny. But don't embarrass us. Yeah, don't embarrass us, don't embarrass us, don't embarrass us. 01:06:11 Speaker 4: Great show shows, a great show. 01:06:13 Speaker 3: Dogs of the Week. 01:06:14 Speaker 1: I'm gonna take Mississippi State plus nine and a half versus almost a lot of conversation about Lane Kiff and he goes on Pat McAfee show yesterday. There's a whole thing about, Hey, where we're gonna go, We're not gonna go. He kind of dodges and moves around here. 01:06:28 Speaker 5: Hey, one thing we know about that interview that was fully authentic. There was nothing performative at all about that one. 01:06:34 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what they do with it. 01:06:35 Speaker 5: Absolutely. 01:06:36 Speaker 1: But I'll take Mississippi State plus nine and a half. 01:06:38 Speaker 3: William Dogs of the Week. 01:06:41 Speaker 4: Nebraska is double digit underdogs going into Happy Valley in Penn State. Now they're nine and a half point underdogs Nebraska. That is my dog of the week. TJ Latif coming off of bye week going in a Happy Valley Nebraska. 01:06:54 Speaker 1: Now I know that there was there were cameras in your faces before this show started. Dylan Raiola, his brother de committed to them. A lot of Nebraska fans are saying he wouldn't have played there anyway. Does that say anything for maybe a Dylan Royola leaving Nebraska or is that not even worth talking about that? 01:07:09 Speaker 3: I have no clue. 01:07:10 Speaker 4: I don't have a whole lot of information on the situation at hand, so I have no comment. Okay, I have no comment until I learn, you know, until I furthermore learned about. 01:07:20 Speaker 1: The jas just saying shit, yeah, yeah. 01:07:24 Speaker 5: What I've always respected about you is you really keep yourself at an arms link from Nebraska for yeah, you really don't involve yourself. 01:07:29 Speaker 1: Well, does Riell not making it about him? 01:07:31 Speaker 5: Absolutely? 01:07:33 Speaker 4: Listen when I came in and the paparazzi everybody's in my face. You know, I'm learning about it. I was learning about that for the first time, So I truly I have no clue. If I like, if it's not Dylan Raila's brother and it's just Dayton Raila and he de commits from Nebraska, I'm thinking the old boy he's watching tjif play like that will eventually be the future when Dylan rail is gone. Like when Dylan Roola wins US A national title with the Huskers and then goes on to the NFL, It's gonna be t J latifs Ta. He doesn't seem Dayton seems like a ballplayer, a baller who could be a starter somewhere. Maybe he doesn't want to compete. I have no clue. Again, I don't know a whole lot about this, and you already talk about it as a whole. I don't think we're digging ourselves at all. I'm just trying to compartmentalize and separate it and be like, yeah, look, it seems like he decommitted. You can't trust anything these commits are saying these days. Kidding right now, right now, Nebranzi's got like a top five recruiting class in the country for twenty twenty seven. But I'm not buying any of that stock because what we're a couple of years away. 01:08:29 Speaker 5: Literally, Yeah, you just said Dayton Rayola doesn't like to compete. 01:08:32 Speaker 4: That's why I said, maybe maybe he doesn't want to compete. 01:08:35 Speaker 3: I don't know. 01:08:38 Speaker 5: A lot of G five teams out there in need of a quarterback. 01:08:41 Speaker 1: You Husker's money line. 01:08:43 Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm personally going Huskers money line, but for dog of the week in the segment I do like just for the people, but everybody knows that. Everybody knows willy See he's going money line, and listen. If I'm going to ride with willy See, I'll just get in the foxhole. But with nine and a half. 01:08:54 Speaker 5: Points, Model loves Penn State. This week, I'm going Rice plus eighteen and a half against North Texas. Nice. Yeah, don't lose to food is one of the big rules in college football. But if food is an eighteen and a half point dog, you can beat them, therefore not losing to food, but still not cover North Texas. Eric Morris is up for big jobs right now. I've just been making bank betting against coaches that are involved in coaching searches. That continues here Rice plus eighteen and a half. You have something to say. 01:09:21 Speaker 4: If you're gonna shoot me in the face, I want you to look at me when you do. I don't want you to say jab and I want you to just staring in him the whole time while I'm sitting here bleeding. 01:09:30 Speaker 5: I could have put it there, but I didn't. I could have put Penn State on this sheet, but I didn't. 01:09:35 Speaker 3: You should have. 01:09:35 Speaker 5: I did that for you. I don't want to dig as a hole you just did. 01:09:39 Speaker 1: You know what's fucked up is you said, oh, I did this for you the parla, I kind of. I didn't do this for you. But two weeks ago, once Perdue, you did that to me. 01:09:47 Speaker 5: Remind me who covered in that game? 01:09:48 Speaker 3: Perdue. 01:09:50 Speaker 1: But we're talking about respect. 01:09:51 Speaker 2: We're talking about I'm not going to do this to you will And I'm saying there, like, well, shit, fourteen days ago he did that to me. 01:09:56 Speaker 5: But what you're not telling the folks is last week I walked in the building and you were talking about Northwestern and I said, northwesterns cover, Michigan's gonna win. Northwestern is gonna come. 01:10:03 Speaker 1: Happened this wee against Maryland? 01:10:05 Speaker 5: No, no, no, I think you're gonna run it up on Maryland. No, it's different this weekend. 01:10:08 Speaker 2: Oh really, I'm ready to sit there, like I think Marylands was gonna say Michigan wins. 01:10:13 Speaker 5: I like, I don't think covered. 01:10:16 Speaker 1: I don't think you covered this entire year. 01:10:18 Speaker 5: This week they're gonna cover. 01:10:19 Speaker 1: Just wait till we get to our final bite. 01:10:20 Speaker 5: Second, I got something for that. 01:10:22 Speaker 4: Michigan's gonna play like Michigan. And then it's Ohio State week. 01:10:26 Speaker 1: Yeah, then it's a completely sleepwalking do you make team since nineteen forty have won a football game being minus five and turnovers? 01:10:35 Speaker 5: Was was s m U one of them against Duke last year? 01:10:39 Speaker 1: No, they weren't because the zero zero zero minus five minus five? 01:10:44 Speaker 3: Wow, you can't wait them. 01:10:46 Speaker 5: I just got it. 01:10:47 Speaker 1: I just remember SMU had some crazy game exactly minus five, maybe that minus six, but minus five exactly. 01:10:55 Speaker 5: No team has five. 01:10:57 Speaker 1: No team has won college football? Was up, Clay, We're up this episode to let you know Boost with the Boys. If you don't already know, the Boys have a profit boost token available every college football Saturday. That's a profit boost on any college football Saturday. Bet just open up the FANDO sportsbook gap this Saturday and look for the boost in with the Boys pbt uh Okay, Parlay, I got James Madison minus thirteen and a half is watching this eight they We know Jamie watches the show. We know they watched Busting with the Boys. I disrespected them this week being a G five teams in If you have one one loss, which they do have. You should not be in the playoffs. They're playing a bigger school and. 01:11:38 Speaker 5: The cover two touchdown favorite over the bigger school. 01:11:41 Speaker 1: And then their argument is you saw Washington State where they did all miss what they almost did it? All miss? 01:11:45 Speaker 5: Close? 01:11:46 Speaker 1: This close? Yeah, two touchdowns and taking them. 01:11:49 Speaker 4: Washington minus ten and a half at UCLA? 01:11:52 Speaker 1: Wasn't it fun to root for Ucla for a little bit. 01:11:54 Speaker 3: For a couple of weeks? Yeah? 01:11:55 Speaker 4: What were they three to oh with the when they made the change. 01:11:58 Speaker 5: Their their undefeated had a good little run. 01:11:59 Speaker 4: There had a good run, fun run, fun run, good fastball. 01:12:02 Speaker 5: For one or two weeks. The sentence you don't want to play Ucla right now was uttered, not on this show, per se, but it was uttered. I would like to take Western Kentucky plus twenty two and a half at LSU for the same reason I like Tennessee against Florida. I will gladly bet you if you're walking into someone's backyard where the main focal point of conversation is who's going to coach that team next year? The entire purpose of Tiger Stadium Saturday is for people to gather together and talk about who their head coach is going to be they don't even care about West Kentucky. Yes, so I'll take WKU plus twenty two and a half. 01:12:40 Speaker 4: All right, now we have our final byte segment. This final segment is sponsored by McDonald's Bold Prediction Hot Take storyline Flying under the Radar. It gives fans something to keep in mind before finishing their week in tuning in the kickoff. All right before this final byte segment, this episode of The Locker Room is brought to us by McDonald's all New Buffalo Ranch Sauce. A new Buffalo Ran sauce has arrived, and it pairs perfectly with your snack rat, mccrispy sandwich and mccrispy strips. It's got the zingy tang of Buffalo with the creamy cool. 01:13:08 Speaker 3: Of mild Ranch. 01:13:09 Speaker 4: It's mild and wild at the same time. It's a sauce that balances itself and compliments our Krispy Trick, our Crispy Chicken, which is my favorite, the Krispy Chris. There's a new sauce in town, a McDonald's tanging Creamy Buffalo Ranch order now available for a limited time at participating McDonald's while supplies. Last, let's get to the final byte. You gotta have something that's just under the radar right now, something that's under the table. 01:13:35 Speaker 3: A grenade per. 01:13:35 Speaker 5: Se, not a grenade per se. Here's what I think. I think if I were a coach right now, if I were Eli Drinkwitz, if I were Laying Kiffin, if I were John Sumral, any of these guys who were up for a head coaching job elsewhere, There's no way I would stand in there and let people criticize me right now. If I were an athletic director, I would not take a second of criticism because I would say, it's not my fault that our calendar looks the way. I'm not the one who made signing day the first week of December and the portal window open early January and not able to rework the academic calendar where we couldn't put signing Day in February and the portal opens after the National Championship game. Because if that changed, not everyone would be in a hurry to fire coaches and rehire them in late November. Right now. So someone came and made the mess and then they walked away like someone threw you in the pool. And now you're getting criticized for being wet. That's not Lane Kiffin's fault. Like you don't have to like Lane Kiffin. You don't have to like John summerl or Eli drink with I don't care what you think about them. But those guys are getting criticized for being put in an absolute no win position, like unless you plan on staying at one program your entire life, And for everyone out there who says you should, don't ever tell me that. If you've changed jobs, if you've taken and advancedmann opportunity, don't ever criticize someone else for at least listening to the opportunity or at least listening to the pitch. So right now, these guys are getting criticized. The agencies do a woeful job of PR and crisis management training. Like I would love to insert myself and just say here's what you ought to say. Don't stand there and take this. That's a reporter from Topeka and he's throwing grenades at you because he never has to show his face and he understands that like you know, the clapping seals of his readership are gonna lap it up. Don't stand there and take that. You're not the one who made the calendar the way it is, so I don't know if that qualifies as an extra bite, but that's where I am. 01:15:23 Speaker 3: That's a great fight. 01:15:24 Speaker 1: I'm gonna say that's a great fight. 01:15:27 Speaker 3: TJ. 01:15:27 Speaker 1: The chief does what. 01:15:29 Speaker 5: Two fifty fifty total or passing fifty passing? 01:15:34 Speaker 3: Passing? No, no, no, no no no. Emma Johnson over two hundred yards on the ground. 01:15:39 Speaker 5: Are both gonna happen? 01:15:41 Speaker 3: Do both? 01:15:42 Speaker 4: Emma Johnson over two hundred yards on the ground, and I'll say TJ latif over two hundred yards through the air, because if Emma Johnson's gonna eat, he's not gonna have as many opties on the ball. 01:15:51 Speaker 5: This is on the road at Penn State. 01:15:52 Speaker 3: On the road at Penn State, Nebraska. 01:15:54 Speaker 4: Upset upsets Penn State, Happy Valley, which to me doesn't feel like an upset. 01:16:00 Speaker 3: Has Penn State won a conference game yet? I don't think they have. 01:16:03 Speaker 5: I'm sure they've won a conference game something. 01:16:05 Speaker 3: Did they win last week? 01:16:06 Speaker 5: Yeah? 01:16:06 Speaker 4: They be Michigan State. Let oh, they beat Michigan State. Lest there you go, they're one and whatever like this, But you. 01:16:10 Speaker 1: Guys also beat Michigan State. So It's like, that's right. 01:16:13 Speaker 3: Yeah, we're seven to three Pence States. 01:16:14 Speaker 1: Northwestern, Northwestern beat Penn State, you beat Northwestern. 01:16:18 Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't see Howard double digit underdogs. 01:16:21 Speaker 1: Yeah, me either, But you're right. 01:16:22 Speaker 4: Like Tomato Tomato jail the TIF two hundred, Emma Johnson two. 01:16:26 Speaker 3: Hundred, final bite. 01:16:28 Speaker 1: I'll stay with my album matter as well, like you did. Jordan Marshall out against Maryland. Justin Hayes, Justice Hayes. He is now out for the entire season. Multiple guys hurt on defense. Bryce Underwood, if you just look at the stat line, you don't watch the entire game of Michigan. That was probably his best game he played, aside from the two interceptions, like he was had touched on the ball, was pushing it down the field. You can see him doing reids when he got into this issue. When he got into situations, he would run and gain the first down. Bryce Underwood throws first first three hundred yard game against Maryland this week and they win the game. Through the year. 01:17:04 Speaker 5: Wow, a lot of people seem to be doing it against Maryland onward. 01:17:08 Speaker 4: A lot of people. 01:17:09 Speaker 1: Do you think Maryland? Do you think Michigan covers against Maryland? Yeah, I need that. 01:17:14 Speaker 5: It's like, it's like, just rev the engine right before the FanDuel has the Ohio State Michigan line at twelve and a half. By the way, you can you can better bet it right Iron Bowl Bama minus five and a half terrifying, But the game Ohio State minus twelve and a half. 01:17:28 Speaker 1: That's huge. 01:17:29 Speaker 5: But they're within they're within reach. All you gotta just grab him by the short collar dragon man. 01:17:36 Speaker 3: And a half. 01:17:37 Speaker 4: I did. I do feel like it would have. 01:17:39 Speaker 1: Been longer, longer it was the touchdowns. Michigan is a much better team than they were last year. Ohio State maybe the same. Maybe they're better on defense, they're worse on offense. Eight bounces each other out. 01:17:51 Speaker 5: Not to start the game, preview a week early, not to start the game. 01:17:54 Speaker 1: That being said in Michigan money line. And we'll see if I have some Foxhold guys. 01:17:57 Speaker 3: With me next week that you will say you'll see it next week. 01:18:01 Speaker 4: Uh, don't forget the subscribe like comment biggug sidey. 01:18:05 Speaker 7: Kisses twenty one plus and present in select states for Kansas in affiliation with Kansas Star Casino, or eighteen plus and present in DC.
