Speaker 1: Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real house Boss of Atlanta, New Jersey and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap reality television from the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well.

00:00:36
Speaker 2: Hey, rain drops on today's episode of Reality with the King. Alexis Jansen and I are here to recap the latest episode of The Real House Boss of Beverley Hills. And listen, she and I are dancing. We're doing our TikTok dances because after.

00:00:52
Speaker 3: A very slow start to the season.

00:00:56
Speaker 2: I feel like things are finally hitting up an Alexis eye, I am thrilled.

00:01:04
Speaker 4: It's a license TODs after this, and I said, if you jump on board, because now we are talking, it's good.

00:01:12
Speaker 2: Okay, it's such a good it's such a good episode and I cannot wait to get into it with you. So look, first thing first, we got to get into Erica Jane meeting with Rachel Zoe and Look, what would this season be without the manifesting money Queen Amanda, because she literally is the talk of the town. So, as we've talked about. In last week's episode, Rachel's had a dinner, Dart was confronting Amanda based on things she was told she said about, you know, talking about her a strange husband p K. Amanda tells her, you know, let's not do this right now. I'm grieving the loss of my son today he passed away. The anniversary excuse me of his death is today things went awkward. Erica and Rachel's start talking about it and look instead of which I was like, this reminds me of when the new girl get hazed, although rachel Zel is a new girl.

00:02:18
Speaker 3: But I'll get to my theory about why rachel.

00:02:22
Speaker 2: Zo is not getting hazed in the same fashion. I phil Amanda is in a you know, Alexis will get your thoughts. They're talking about her and they're calling her performative based on an example of her being on the phone sandwich in the middle in what we call the bitch seat and she's handling business, and I thought that was like, not fair.

00:02:50
Speaker 5: I totally disagree. I the entire time she's on the phone.

00:02:56
Speaker 4: I'm cringing, and do you know what I even have? I even have an a sample from Orange County.

00:03:01
Speaker 5: Okay. I was in a car with Vicky Gumbelson getting schooled, so my ringer was on.

00:03:07
Speaker 4: Vicky looks at me and is like, turn that off. We are in a car together, like put it on silent. And it was one of my first times I was going or whatever, and I got the I got the point right away. But like if I was in the car sandwiched in between those two women, I would not be talking in my business life.

00:03:25
Speaker 5: I would not. I don't understand it.

00:03:28
Speaker 4: I do think it was performative and awkward and weird. And I don't know how she couldn't read the room that the other two ladies were sitting there.

00:03:34
Speaker 5: I rolling her the whole time, like I would feel their energy if she's such a manifestor, I would have manifested and felt that energy, being like, Okay, these girls do not like this phone call. Sorry Carlos, once again we agree to a sagree.

00:03:47
Speaker 3: No, we've lived it. We can't. We can't, we can't. I'll say this and maybe this is me.

00:03:54
Speaker 2: Projecting based upon you know me and my life. Listen, when I'm out and about with my friends who I love, we have a great time. I oftentimes am on the phone and handling business. Now, look, I do feel like this is no disrespect to Erica Jane, who I love. Amanda has a business.

00:04:23
Speaker 4: So does Erica Jane. She performs on stage. You don't think she has to handle stuff.

00:04:31
Speaker 3: She has Mikey and other people to handle stuff. And I love Erica.

00:04:40
Speaker 4: Well, for the record, push you a little further so you feel like eric or I'm sorry, Amanda's phone call was completely and totally like proper like you didn't. You did not get any cringe worthiness out of that higher.

00:05:00
Speaker 5: Scene, is what you're saying.

00:05:03
Speaker 4: Because I will hold on, let me finish this one point though I just thought of something else. I will make a phone call about business, about my kids, in front of my in front of my any whoever I'm with it.

00:05:12
Speaker 5: I need to.

00:05:13
Speaker 4: But at the point that it gets to where it's like everything Erica was or Amanda was talking about, I would excuse myself and walk away, or I would say I'll call you back in a few minutes, and I would end the phone call and call back. I mean, it was and I know that they loved they did the real the spirals with me too. I know that they loved to cut and put like boom boom boom and make it look like she was on the phone for an hour, which you might have been on the phone for five minutes.

00:05:38
Speaker 5: It was still a lot.

00:05:39
Speaker 4: It was still a lot of different conversations and a lot of different topics that it's like, Okay, one phone call I get.

00:05:45
Speaker 5: But I don't know. I'm intrigued that you think it was totally find No.

00:05:51
Speaker 2: The thing is this, there are traveling in Sedonia, Sedona, and that's a that's not like a trip where you get around for like fifteen minutes, so it's presumably the hour plus long drive. There are moments where she has she has to handle business. So listen, do I think she's performative, for sure, I'm not saying that. I think at that moment she was warranted as a businesswoman handling business because she is operating her own business. Now, Rachel and Erica, they do have businesses. However, what we have seen right on the show, they have.

00:06:35
Speaker 3: A massive team so they don't have to, based on what.

00:06:41
Speaker 2: I've seen, handle a lot of things that comes head on, because rightfully so, they do have a great team around them.

00:06:50
Speaker 3: But look, one of the things that you are not going to disagree with already, know.

00:06:58
Speaker 5: Hey, preface it with up, go ahead, go ahead.

00:07:02
Speaker 3: Rachel zo.

00:07:05
Speaker 2: Thinks that Amanda boasts a lot about her work, and she made the reference that of all of the businesses and all the accomplishments and all the accolades she has, she doesn't boast about her work. And as somebody who watched the Rachel Zoel project right the live detective test determined that was a lie. Now and listen, not saying she did it to the degree that Amanda's doing, but I watched the Rachel Project and Rachel had no problem telling motherfuckers what she was wearing, how she changed the game with Lindsay Lohand and parents and all these girls. So my thing is Rachel zou did it when she had her own show, rightfully so, and I think Amanda's new and I think Amada wants the girls to know what she does.

00:07:58
Speaker 5: Well and to take it further. I've got okay.

00:08:01
Speaker 4: As a producer, you you also know that Rachel Erica, every cast member could possibly be talking about their businesses and there and boasting in some way that doesn't make it, and it's on the cutting room floor because they're trying to point this out about Erica. So coming from a producer's aspect, that could also be something. And you're right, like, I think all the women probably talk about their businesses and talk about their stage performances in Erica's case, and talk about you know, I think they all do, because that's your life.

00:08:31
Speaker 5: You do talk about what you do behind the scenes. And it is a very possible.

00:08:38
Speaker 4: Thought that they could be cutting everything to make it stand out, that this is Amanda's persona for this season, to bring her different, to make her a character that is, you know, loved and hated at the same time, to drive the ratings.

00:08:55
Speaker 3: So there you go, yeah, yeah, and look she is standing out.

00:09:00
Speaker 2: Now, look, Rachel Zel thinks she's standing out because she says she looks like an airline attended from the sixties.

00:09:07
Speaker 5: Where did she come up with that?

00:09:10
Speaker 3: I mean, that's good.

00:09:11
Speaker 5: I laughed. Did you laugh? You had to laugh?

00:09:15
Speaker 3: I hollered.

00:09:16
Speaker 2: That's why I broke that in my notes. I thought, look, I thought that was extremely funny and the accuracy was there. Now, I thought, Rachel Zel did her big one with that comparison. I thought that was super duper punty.

00:09:30
Speaker 5: Yeah, it's good, good material.

00:09:33
Speaker 2: So then we see Amanda, you know, she's talking to Kyle. They're hanging out, and she mentions Durii. So we now get to see Amanda's perspective after the dinner party, and she says that Derey pretty much is not a classy woman and that's not how classy women act, based on the fact that she did disrespect her son the anniversary of her death.

00:09:59
Speaker 3: Kyle tried to defend her, which I thought was nice.

00:10:02
Speaker 2: But Amanda, who I agree with, She said yes, but after she found out, I still asked her to stop, and she would not stop and she kept going. So I am definitely on Amanda's side when it comes to I find it quite interesting that none of these girls, none of them are chastising Dearit for what she did, and I felt like that was anybody else they would have.

00:10:32
Speaker 4: I agree with you, and I know Juri did we have we have to Durit did point out that Amanda did come back after Amanda said, it's the you know, anniversary my sons ion. I don't want to speak about this anymore. Amanda did come back and say and then and then tried to pull a little bit more of Durid out of the conversation, where Amanda probably should have just not shut at that point and been like, that's it. However, it didn't matter. Nothing trumps the fact that that was the anniversary of a baby's death. I'm sorry. Nothing can trump that. It does not matter what Amanda. She could have pulled out a machete at that point and been like, you know, totally crazy and the women need to bow down and go I'm so sorry, because to lose a kid is the worst pain I think anyone can have, so I it would have just stopped. And I don't understand why all the women sat around and not one person stood up and said or just even quietly said, you know, let's give Amanda the moment and just to design like I had last week, except for the fact that Amanda is.

00:11:34
Speaker 5: The newbie and they all don't like her a ton.

00:11:37
Speaker 4: They're trying to find a reason not to which Amanda's giving them. You know, some good stuff go on, and I think we're just gonna have to see it play out, and who knows, Like if Amanda comes back next season.

00:11:49
Speaker 5: I think she'll be liked.

00:11:51
Speaker 4: I think people are going to find reasons to like her because she is dynamic. She does have something different than all the other women with her personality, So I think I think there's there, you know, give her a chance.

00:12:04
Speaker 5: I keep going back and forth, though I am probably with the rain drops on this. I keep going back and forth. Do I like her or not? Is she not? Is she cool or not? Is she braggadocios or not? Like I have all of these that I go through with.

00:12:18
Speaker 2: Amanda, I agree, I agree, I agree, I agree. I think listen, I think she's keeping the lights on this season. She's providing something very interesting and I like.

00:12:28
Speaker 3: Her a great deal. So far, so far, due, so far, due.

00:12:33
Speaker 2: We got to get to the moment, Oh god, where listen? This had to be the most awkward moment I think this whole season. And shout out to the producers. If they orchestrated it, I'm not sure. But Drey, Kyle Bows and Bow's friend they decided to have a girl's lunch and Dried talks to about Mauricio, and she asked Kyle plainly, if there's any sort of room for a reconciliation with Mauricio, and before Kyle could even answer, Mauricio pops up out of nowhere and no, Alexis. I literally jumped in my chair like I was watching a scary movie where the black girl gets killed first, so bulls watch out and I freaked out.

00:13:31
Speaker 4: Well because it's like, it's like, no sooner than by the way, Let's go back to the fact.

00:13:36
Speaker 5: That Alexis called out talking to myself in third person.

00:13:38
Speaker 4: Yes, I am called out a couple of our podcasts ago that there is room for reconciliation and Kyle is manifesting it and wants it, and you can tell and you can tell more of this episode, but the fact that they're sitting there talking about him and the moment that he walks up is when Dury is saying the word reconcilient. Oh hi, It's like she couldn't even finish the shun reconcilia shun. She couldn't finish it because there's Marcio and Kyle.

00:14:07
Speaker 5: I love the way Kyle handled it.

00:14:08
Speaker 4: She's like, oh well, hi, Mary, you know, like it was just you can't write that that was not acting, that was either really greatly produced or.

00:14:18
Speaker 5: Like Kyle said, I don't know if you watched the Watch What Happens Live? Let me fill everybody in.

00:14:22
Speaker 4: Kyle was on Watch What Happens Live with Kathy Hilton and Paris right after this episode. So it's the best, it's one of the best Watch What Happens Live? Ever, It's just epic anyway, you got to watch it.

00:14:32
Speaker 5: But but yeah, Kyle says, on that way, where was I going with that? Something about Mauricio?

00:14:39
Speaker 3: Oh?

00:14:39
Speaker 5: Oh, so they they even you know, are still talking on Watch What Happens Live about Kyle? Do you know, have you thought about filing yet or this?

00:14:49
Speaker 4: Like it's it's forever been in my mind that there's a place that Mauricio and Kyle could end up back together once they both get their you know, early twenties out of their fifty year old bodies.

00:15:03
Speaker 2: So is she saying that there's is she did she intimate on Washing Hapmas Live that there's a possibility or there isn't she.

00:15:11
Speaker 4: Just she just you can still see it in her eyes that she is missing him in my mind, and I hope that she never you know, gets mad at me for what I'm saying. But you can still see in her eyes, But then she also.

00:15:22
Speaker 5: Said they still haven't filed, So why are you separated for years or a couple? It's been what do year?

00:15:28
Speaker 4: I don't know, Lizzie can help us, but there's been a couple of years now and you're not signing the ink.

00:15:33
Speaker 5: There's a reason in the back of your mind.

00:15:37
Speaker 3: This is reality with the King and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show. What do you think about that? And what do you make of it?

00:15:46
Speaker 2: Because even when de Rey was asking Kyle, like, look, when you saw MAURICEO kiss another woman, did she want to file? Because that's what made de refile when she saw this moment kiss p que and Kyle said, of course he thought about it, but to your point, she hasn't done it. Mauricio late in the episode not no. I think in that scene mentioned I'm sorry in that scene that he has never thought about filing, and in that moment Alexis I said, I think was well, look, I think this Alexis Jansen maybe onto something. What I do think is happening though, I think Okay, our Lizzie note is they've been separated over two years, starting July of twenty twenty three.

00:16:38
Speaker 5: I knew it was around two years. I knew.

00:16:40
Speaker 4: I just don't know why. In my mind, I just thought it's got to be around twoyears. So there's something to that. Subconsciously to not want to sign on the ink or sign ink on the paper, but out gallivanting with other.

00:16:53
Speaker 5: Men and women and women and women and more women. It's like, Okay, there's something to this. There's something to it. Carlos and I.

00:17:02
Speaker 4: You know, I'm the optimistic here, and I love.

00:17:07
Speaker 5: I love love.

00:17:08
Speaker 4: So I'm praying that they do get back together because they are so flipping cute together.

00:17:14
Speaker 2: Listen, I I will say this. They are each other's so mate.

00:17:24
Speaker 3: They are.

00:17:25
Speaker 2: It is sort of when a couple have been together for so long they and guys don't be grossed up by this.

00:17:32
Speaker 3: They sort of operate as siblings.

00:17:34
Speaker 2: And when I say siblings, I mean they just have this natural chemistry where they finish each other since the sense they know a lot about each other, and that's what they gave me.

00:17:45
Speaker 3: I think this is what happening, is my opinion.

00:17:48
Speaker 2: Hey, Tamera, I think what's happening is they've been together for so long that they both are in a situation where where they are not the same people when they first met. They were not financially stable. When they first met, they truly fell in love with each other, and together they grew this business to be a pretty much a billion.

00:18:17
Speaker 3: Dollar business, right.

00:18:18
Speaker 2: And on top of that, they're both famous, right, oh beyond like beyond, And I think after being together for so long and experiencing wealth and fame and sexiness right.

00:18:35
Speaker 5: And family, a lot of kids, yeah.

00:18:38
Speaker 3: I think.

00:18:39
Speaker 2: But I think was driving them towards experimenting with other people is because they both are existing in their hotness, their money, their fame, and they want to be able to explore what it is like to be that. It's sort of like, look, you know this being you know this is your second marriage. You you've always been a pretty girl. You know what it's like to be the hot girl, and you had your hot girl experience and then you finally say, Okay, I've done that.

00:19:16
Speaker 3: Let me settle down and get married because I lived my life.

00:19:20
Speaker 2: I think those two never live their lives in this hotness, and they both want to do it now.

00:19:27
Speaker 3: And I do think you're right that because of that they'll get back together.

00:19:31
Speaker 4: And you could not have said it more poetically, except to simply say, like I said, they're living their twenties in their fifties. They had their twenties back then and been doing all of this, which I was a college girl. I was out, you know, having a blast. So in my odes, girls just want to have fun. They'd start that song as soon as my best friend and.

00:19:53
Speaker 5: I walked in the bar.

00:19:54
Speaker 4: They'd be like, oh, relax, and here we go, Little in Town, Missouri, Columbia, Missouri.

00:20:00
Speaker 5: We'll put this song on because the girls just walked in. I've already had my I've already sewed my oats. I've already had all of it.

00:20:05
Speaker 4: Hey, yeah, and that's what I've been quoting this from episode one. When you know I saw Kyle's eyes, talk about him and the way he hugs her and the way he looks at her. Do not mistake that he is having fun with all these young hawk girls and acting twenty.

00:20:24
Speaker 5: But Kyle is his soulmate.

00:20:26
Speaker 4: You are forever right, So sorry, other pretty little younguns, Nuricio, you all to stand a chance because she is the one, you know.

00:20:35
Speaker 3: So yeah, yeah, no, no, no, no, I agree, Carlos.

00:20:39
Speaker 5: If they get back together, I can't wait. We're gonna be you and I are gonna throw a party for them. That's what we're going.

00:20:45
Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, sponsored by whatever deal Spencer gets us, so we will we will make that happen.

00:20:51
Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, yeah.

00:20:53
Speaker 2: I want to actually this being a married woman. Okay, let's go back to your first marriage for this sake, keep it.

00:21:02
Speaker 4: Let's let's keep it real so that we don't get yelled at by all of the people that know my history. I've been married three times. I don't count my first marriage just to keep it true here.

00:21:11
Speaker 5: Because I was so young, I didn't want to walk down the aisle.

00:21:14
Speaker 4: My dad looked at me during the wedding march because I was at an organist was playing.

00:21:19
Speaker 5: I was done at dun Dunna.

00:21:20
Speaker 4: It was the old school in a church, kind of like the old school marriage, nothing like what my third marriage was. Anyway, he goes, honey, you don't have to do this, and I go, but Daddy, all these people are here for me now. So I walked down the aisle. It was never meant to be. We divorced within a year and a half. I wish I would have done it sooner so I could get it an old So I have been married three times. I didn't know this, Yes, three times from I was like twenty three to twenty four and a.

00:21:45
Speaker 5: Half or something like that. It was something like that.

00:21:48
Speaker 4: And then I met my second husband and married at twenty seven and then yeah, and now my third marriage to John is at forty eight.

00:21:58
Speaker 5: I was forty eight when I'm married.

00:22:00
Speaker 3: Good ahead, girl, you did live.

00:22:04
Speaker 4: Kyle and Mauricio. I'm sorry I did it all that way. Now you guys are doing it, and you're gonna end up doing a second marriage to Mauricio, you know, renewing your vowels in about five years.

00:22:14
Speaker 5: So there you go, Okay, what are you gonna ask?

00:22:17
Speaker 3: Well, I wanted to ask you this now.

00:22:19
Speaker 2: Obviously obviously there's a difference, right, there's a difference between your second.

00:22:22
Speaker 3: Husband and how that divorce went.

00:22:25
Speaker 2: But the example that I wanted to offer was when dereed in front of Kyle, asked Mauricio for his phone number because she doesn't have it, which I thought I was very interesting because Kyle does have PK's number and they text memes, but DERII does not have Mauricio's number, which I do think is appropriate. I don't care if my girlfriend and her husband we have double dates.

00:22:57
Speaker 3: I think it we're girlfriends.

00:22:58
Speaker 2: There's no need for you to text my husban has been on the side like, there's no need for that. I did think Derie was inappropriate, because asking for your girls a strange husband's phone number in front of her to talk shit about your strange husband to me is just weird. But I also think deurit was trying to stick one at Kyle because Kyle was texting pk oh oh.

00:23:32
Speaker 5: I never thought of that, Carlos.

00:23:34
Speaker 4: I do not want my husband texting my girlfriends. I don't it is inappropriate. We can go through each other. I wanted to surprise him with tickets to the SC game. I did go on his phone and get a couple of his friends cells because I was like, guys, I need help. I've never been to an SC game. I don't know what the good seats are. Help me with that.

00:23:54
Speaker 5: That is totally different.

00:23:56
Speaker 4: So I kind of give Dorrie a little bit of a paul and the fact that she is I didn't think about the fact that, oh, she's slapping Kyle in the face on this one, which you're right actually now, And I think about it, but I do give her a hall pass because she's trying to make things smoothed over with PK. She wants to find a way where perhaps Mauricio is going to be able to hear something from Dory and go back and levelheadedly talk to PI K and say, look, y'all need.

00:24:23
Speaker 5: To work this out. You got to just be friendly.

00:24:25
Speaker 4: Just you don't have to be friends, you don't have to love each other, but you got to be friendly for the sake of your children.

00:24:31
Speaker 5: So I kind of give a hall pass Carlos on that.

00:24:35
Speaker 3: Yeah, tell me.

00:24:35
Speaker 2: Look, I because because you a good, virtuous Christian woman, so I expect that.

00:24:44
Speaker 5: But you don't think that You're like, that was a total dig. That was a kick you in the face. Kyle. I am sorry. I am going to get your husband cell phone right now. And you know, Kyle goes, I love Kyle. You should go ahead.

00:24:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, because knew Cole knew what Dark was trying to do.

00:25:03
Speaker 3: And she's like, what Carla go.

00:25:10
Speaker 6: But all right, all I was going to say is the one the one good thing is is JITs out of Mauricio's age bracket at the moment, So Kyle has nothing to worry about because Ratio.

00:25:24
Speaker 5: Is going for the younger girls to read like twenty years over his age of it. So Kyle's fine, nothing to worry about.

00:25:38
Speaker 3: Now, that's not Look that's a really good point. That's really good point. But I definitely think Dark was trying to throw shade, but listen and work.

00:25:47
Speaker 2: One thing that that happened in this launch that made me give Bows a side eye was I really thought Bowles was leaning towards having Amanda's not back to our friends, but being on Amanda's side.

00:26:08
Speaker 3: When Bows revealed that she.

00:26:09
Speaker 2: Knows what it feels like to lose a baby and how that is a devastating pain that does live on and I was like, okay, good Bows can say like, look, I wasn't there, but you ladies don't know what it's like to lose a child, So if she brought it up and had that pain, I get it. Except she used that example and book ended it with saying that she believes that Amanda used it as a as a defense, and I thought that was very unfortunate for Bos to say, because how can you one breath say losing a child is the worst pain any mother could experience.

00:26:56
Speaker 3: And then say, but she used it as as.

00:26:58
Speaker 2: A defense because my think is this, everybody grieves differently, and I thought it was I thought it was an appropriate and sensitive of Bows to say that.

00:27:14
Speaker 5: You know, do you.

00:27:15
Speaker 4: Think I feel like Amanda is getting a harder haze on coming in as a movie than Rachel Zoe And I want to ask you, do you think it just it just went done? Gummy ding dong gummy whatever? Do you think it's because Amanda's the only one that has a cohesive, blued family and all the other women are broken and going through divorce and divorces and they're going through hard times and having all these battles, because otherwise, what is.

00:27:41
Speaker 5: It that is wrong?

00:27:42
Speaker 4: Them all so wrong about Amida except that her life is pictured now, which God forbid, whudos in three years are she's still on the show, Her and her husband are not going through her and Eddy aren't going to a problem. You never know, life deals a lot of bad apples as well as good apples.

00:27:58
Speaker 3: So I don't know.

00:27:59
Speaker 4: I just wonder. I'm like, are they hazing her more? Because that doesn't make any sense that Bo's would go and do exactly what you said, which is almost back it was almost like a backhanded compliment. It was like, oh, I know what it feels like to lose a kid, but you know she using that as a defense mechanism, Like, I don't know, it was alls are and I'm just thinking they're all kind of a little envious of Amanda because her life is in a decent spot.

00:28:28
Speaker 5: With a husband and her family. I don't know.

00:28:30
Speaker 2: No, I'm gonna tell you what it is, and that's not it.

00:28:34
Speaker 5: It's because she bought Kyle's house.

00:28:36
Speaker 2: No, no, no, that's not it. I'm gonna tell you what it is, Carla. I'm going to school you in the rain doobs. I'm gonna tell you exactly what it is. The reason why this cast right with the exception of Kyle and Kathy and Jennifer Tilly, but Kyle's the main castle will stick with, We will stick with Kyle.

00:29:04
Speaker 3: Kyle is the only one not hazing Amanda.

00:29:09
Speaker 2: The reason why there's a difference between the way these ladies are treating Rachel Zeau, who is new, and Amanda, who is new, is only because Rachel Zeau.

00:29:24
Speaker 3: Is already famous.

00:29:26
Speaker 2: Rachelseau is already is very respected in the fashion industry. Rachel Zeau had a seven year show on Bravo. Rachel Zeau is somebody who you want to network with, and they respect that because in Beverly Hills, it's all about the connections, It's all about the network. I was the first one to call out that the reason why Sutton will never go against Kyle or Kathy Hilton is because at the end of the day, those women run Beverly Hills. Rachel Zau is a state on the fashion industry. They will never go against Rachelzeu and they embrace her with open arms. The reason why they aren't embracing Amanda with open arms is because to them, Amanda isn't respected based on how she got her money. Amanda isn't respected and she's an easy target.

00:30:18
Speaker 7: She's an easy target because they had to google her. As Dark said, Oh, she mentioned she was in a cult, and look as somebody who read Amanda's book, Richard's Fuck in stores now she gave you.

00:30:32
Speaker 3: It wasn't like she was in a real one. It was her interpretation.

00:30:37
Speaker 2: But again, there's things that is going on with Rachel Zaud that they're not talking about. If you wanted my point is this, if you wanted to run down the gamut of Google. There are things about Rachel Zel that isn't pretty right, the gross assumptions that people had in terms of the women she styled back in the two thousands, which was my era, right, because these women were thin and they were saying gross things about Rachelzaul. These girls would never bring that up because they need Rachel Zaul's connections. Amanda's an easier target, and and and and what I saw at that dinner table, and I love Bo's bows, is trying to solidify her position with these girls. And one thing about Beverly Hills that we see in Potomac is they will Hayes a new girl that they do not respect.

00:31:33
Speaker 4: Wow, So was it going to take Amanda a few more people in a Rolodex and a little bit more time in Beverly Hills for them to start respecting her?

00:31:42
Speaker 5: Is that what you're saying?

00:31:43
Speaker 2: No, Because if she tells you she has people in the rolodeck, they'll say she's bragging.

00:31:49
Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean?

00:31:51
Speaker 2: Do?

00:31:52
Speaker 3: Well? That's the thing. I think.

00:31:54
Speaker 2: I think what Amanda and again i'm I'm I'm well seven episodes in, I think what Amanda is doing is she's trying to find her footing, but Amanda is clocking that DEI, you have a heart on on me, and I'm gonna give.

00:32:08
Speaker 3: You something to be pleasured with, like I'm gonna give it to you. I'm gonna give it to you. And look even when Deree walked.

00:32:18
Speaker 2: Into her birthday dinner and Rachel Zaud walked up the hugger and then she stops within her tracks and oh my god's I heard about your divorce? You ask everybody on this show for seasons about what they were going through, But with Rachel Zoul, they delicately just handle her because they respect what a self made woman she is, because it's something tangible that they can see. And let's be clear, Dari needs to be friends with somebody that can give her clothes versus renting them for the scenes. So it's all about the connections and that's why Amanda. Amanda has clocked who Dured is and Amanda is ready to go.

00:32:59
Speaker 3: After her and I'm here for I love the feud personally.

00:33:04
Speaker 4: Wow, I'm gonna take a nap after this podcast because my mind is racing after everything. You just I have never looked at it like that. Yeah, you're so right again. Oh my gosh. Well I'm here for it too, because guess what, we need a good season. I mean, and it's just now getting there. So let's bring it on, girls, let's go. But I wow, I do think there's a place. Maybe it's the optimism in me again, but I do think there's a place where the girls will come around about Amanda if Amanda plays her cards right for the next year or two. I do because rather it's tangible how she made her money, or she's multi level, or she's whoever, however, who cares. It's like, you got money, you didn't get it illegally with fraud, okay, like Erica Jane's ex husband. So it's like it's like, come on, like he's doing what she knows to do right now. Although I don't understand what the emotional side of money means when she described that in a scene, I'm like, what is the emotional side of money? How are you making money off of telling people the emotion?

00:34:13
Speaker 5: I looked at my I went to my handbag and the only dollar I had was a ten dollar bills. I don't carry cash, and so I looked at it. I'm like, feel the emotion. Lex Come on, I'm like a girlfriend. I don't get you.

00:34:25
Speaker 4: I have no emotion of this ten dollar bill except it will only buy me a Starbucks.

00:34:28
Speaker 2: So there you go.

00:34:32
Speaker 4: I so, but I still I'm like, Okay, if somebody's going to pay you enough money to buy a twelve million dollar home for the emotional side of.

00:34:42
Speaker 5: Money, dang, I want some of that.

00:34:45
Speaker 3: That is so well they think is they're her books.

00:34:55
Speaker 2: He talks about Buddy Beak energy, but speaking up energy, this this was to me the biggest indication of what we sort of touched on earlier Alexis, which is Kyle Mauricio's ultimate fate of reconciliation. When Kyle and Mauricio, and again, if the producers did this, shout out to the producers, that was a great idea, an amazing idea of producers. If that was you to have Kyle and Mauricio go to Amanda's house, which was the house she brought from the Uman Skis and renovated, and to see Kyle walk around the house and they flashed back to those moments of Kyle living there when the when her kids were younger than Mauricio, and she got so emotional I was like, this is chef's kiss.

00:35:45
Speaker 3: It was.

00:35:45
Speaker 2: It was a perfect scene to display what's going on internally with Kyle. I think, I think what's all set and done, and I think it's done now. I think Kyle today wants Mauricio back, but I think she knows that he has to do what he has to do, because even when she told the girls that she felt invisible being around them and Aspen, and when Mauricio saw her crying, and I hate to say this, Mauricio's checked out emotionally.

00:36:26
Speaker 5: Still at this point. Yes, I agree with you, and I did.

00:36:29
Speaker 4: I do think like I said, Like you said, I can see the soulmates in them where he is like kind of.

00:36:34
Speaker 5: Being like the brother to her at that point. He is checked out right now.

00:36:37
Speaker 4: But I'm telling you, the shiny new thing always gets old too, So that new diamond you.

00:36:45
Speaker 5: Got ain't new forever, that new handbag you got ain't new forever.

00:36:49
Speaker 4: So all these new girls he's getting and he, you know, look at Maricio, he can have a pick of the letter. We all know this, and you can tell by which you know. Paparazzi photos are out there too. It's like he's living his best life, but it all gets old and there's no substance to what he's doing right now. There's no substance to the life he's living, and he'll miss that because he is a good Cuman, and he is he did have something very special and unique with Kyle.

00:37:14
Speaker 5: You can see it, and you.

00:37:15
Speaker 4: Know, like you said, walking through the house was really cool to see all the upgrades and to relive those memories that Mauricio, and trust me, the producers did this for a reason too.

00:37:25
Speaker 5: They flashed back to all these special moments.

00:37:27
Speaker 8: That Kyle and Mauricio had together of true love, like where they jumped into the white little boat that's in the or floaty that's in the water together and they're laughing about that, and where he pulls her off, and it's like they have all of these special memories that he's not creating with the people.

00:37:44
Speaker 4: He's with now and she's not creating with the women the people she's with now. So I feel like there's It was just a great scene and I got tears in my eyes for Kyle. But you're right, because Marica always checked out. He didn't get one tier. He didn't even think. I was like, oh, confused, he's like, I wanted my new this is my new life. I love my new bachelor pet. So yeah, he is checked out and that, but he still had that love, like you could still see some kind of when you hold held.

00:38:12
Speaker 5: Her, like some kind of a love that he has for her.

00:38:16
Speaker 3: Yeah.

00:38:17
Speaker 2: No, listen, I think the biggest thing for me is I think Kyle regrets it. I think I think to wrap wrap up their emotional journey this episode, I think Kyle regrets it. I think, like most people, you give it a shot as you should. You know, It's funny. I was talking to one of my girlfriends last year and she was telling me how.

00:38:49
Speaker 3: She just feels disconnected from.

00:38:51
Speaker 2: Her husband and they've been together for a while, have have children, like you know, a couple of kids together.

00:38:59
Speaker 3: But she is like, you know, he did nothing wrong, he's a great father, but there's a disconnect.

00:39:08
Speaker 4: And she was contemplating did they grow apart, instart growing together or what do you think?

00:39:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think they're not growing together. You know. I think it's just like she looked at him and said.

00:39:18
Speaker 2: You know, this guy, he's a great person and you know he did nothing wrong to me on paper, He's what every wife would want, but she said, emotionally, there's just they're not. She doesn't feel connected, and she feels horrible that she feels this way, and she in her mind was contemplating leaving him, and.

00:39:39
Speaker 3: She is like, but how do I leave somebody that did nothing to me?

00:39:43
Speaker 2: Like there's something tangible for me to say, she's afraid of breaking his heart. And I say all that to say, I think when I look at the Umanskis, I think they both tried to experience something, and I think, unfortunately.

00:39:57
Speaker 3: This is why he fucked up Alexis.

00:39:59
Speaker 2: I think I'm fortunately Mauricio has a hall pass that is longer than the Piri State Building and Kyle, and I think Kyle is like, I tried that, I'm done.

00:40:11
Speaker 3: I want to get back together.

00:40:16
Speaker 5: You're absolutely right, and there's nothing wrong with.

00:40:19
Speaker 4: That because they were in this together from the beginning, since they were little kids having kids kind of you know. I mean, I know twenty five are supposed to be fully grown up and all that, but I just don't know. I just think you don't really grow up until you're thirty. There's just something about your twenties that you're eighteen or nineteen. I'm sorry, my kids think they're adults. I'm like, you ain't a freaking adult. I'm sorry you are still needing a.

00:40:38
Speaker 5: Lot of help. And when you can pay your own bills and you.

00:40:40
Speaker 4: Understand taxes and you understand what it's like to live on your own, you can call yourself an adult.

00:40:44
Speaker 5: But right now you are still my freaking kid.

00:40:46
Speaker 3: Okay, but yeah, I.

00:40:48
Speaker 5: Think Maurice and Kyle were twenty five.

00:40:51
Speaker 4: He had a kid already, so he really did start his life young as becoming an adult.

00:40:56
Speaker 3: Right, Kyle had the kid already, Mauricio.

00:41:00
Speaker 4: Oh so oh, Mariso adopted the kid. That's right, You're right, You're right. Okay, so Maurice. So anyways, they really started young and didn't get to go live and that is Mauricio is happy right now, but it's gonna be short lived because the fact that every diamond shiny new thing becomes old.

00:41:17
Speaker 5: It's just the way life works. And hopefully I'm.

00:41:21
Speaker 4: Right because I think Kyle is the kindest, most lovely person and deserves to have her husband back and.

00:41:29
Speaker 5: Wishing for that for them.

00:41:31
Speaker 3: I agree, I agree, I agree, Yes, you know, I love Kyle. I'm always team Kyle.

00:41:39
Speaker 2: We got again to Dere's party again, rain jobs.

00:41:46
Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I love Amanda.

00:41:47
Speaker 2: When Amanda Amanda to me is funny because she doesn't I think at this point she's like.

00:41:53
Speaker 3: I don't care.

00:41:54
Speaker 2: I'm gonna be me whether or not you ladies like it or not. I thought it was as when she is talking about the house.

00:42:06
Speaker 3: That she bought and she goes, you know, we bought the house. Well not we, It was my money, so I bought it. Now. Look, I'm not an Amanda apologist.

00:42:17
Speaker 2: That was a moment that I was like, Amanda, this is hard for me to the fit.

00:42:27
Speaker 4: That Carlos. You can't even There's no way you can even try.

00:42:33
Speaker 5: No matter what angle you look at it, you cannot defend that.

00:42:36
Speaker 4: It's like it's like, let me cut his peanuts.

00:42:41
Speaker 5: Just a little shorter, okay, Like.

00:42:45
Speaker 4: Let me just emasculate him just a tad bit more. I mean, I was crunching, and I'm like, oh my gosh, this poor guy, Eddie. I hope that you like, how do they want that scene together and him not be like cringe cringing the whole time? How do you watch that scene with your wife sitting next to you and not be like that's how that's what you think of me.

00:43:11
Speaker 5: Okay, okay, girlfriend, let's see how you are single? Was, you know, raising all these kids? I'm just oh poor.

00:43:19
Speaker 4: Ready, Well, hopefully Amanda sat back and watched that and goes, Okay, I need to learn some things about myself.

00:43:26
Speaker 3: Yeah, that part I was like a bad Now, little girl, you that was bad. That was bad. I'm always on it. That was bad. What are your thoughts on Rachel Zeau?

00:43:38
Speaker 2: Speaking of you know, we talked about Colin Mauricio being in a marriage since they were in their twenties. We learned in this episode that Rachel Zeau and her ex have been together since then, and she talks about how she misses the old Heim, like she doesn't miss who he is, not because she doesn't recognize him, but she misses the old him.

00:44:00
Speaker 3: And she also admits that there's no prenup.

00:44:05
Speaker 4: Well, I mean, Johnny and I didn't sign a prenup, and Jim and I never signed a prenup, so I'm kind of against prenups also only in the fact.

00:44:12
Speaker 5: That kind of says I don't believe in the marriage and it's not going to make it.

00:44:20
Speaker 4: You're But at the same time, if someone has all the money at the beginning and someone else doesn't, it's kind of like I've got to kind of take care of yourself.

00:44:27
Speaker 5: Well.

00:44:28
Speaker 4: Rachel and her husband, I don't think had a lot when they first got married. They were thirty three years ago. It's like they probably built it all together, you know. So if they didn't or they did, maybe that's a Lizzy question.

00:44:40
Speaker 5: I don't know.

00:44:41
Speaker 4: But there's no prenup needed when you your businesses together and you're married to build it. So I don't know, no, I just I feel like I have something to say about Rachel right now. Let you know, I love her, I love the whole cast. There's when I we're doing a podcast that we have to give our opinions. Unfortunately, sorry, but love you Rachel. But I think she's going through the bitter part of her divorce. I don't choose over it. She can put on a good face and act like she's over it. I think she is bitter and unhappy about the circumstances. And you know, when you go through a divorce, there are several phases. There's the feeling of grief of there's you've lost a lot, Okay, there's the feeling of anger, there's the feeling of sadness, there's a feeling of bitter, you know, you get a little bit bitter and like, well, you know, I don't know, and then you finally come on the other side. I'm sure there's like six other feelings that go through it all, but I feel like her on camera, I just think she's a little bitter.

00:45:41
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think what you say.

00:45:42
Speaker 2: I think going through a divorce is a grieving process too, And I think you, like, is everything you're saying right, And listen, you will know way more about that than me obviously and a lot of the listeners. So I agree with you based on the experience that it has, especially when it's fresh, and what we saw in an episode was how fresh this was. And I think, look, we're unable to hear his perspective, and based on you know, what's happening right now, he hasn't said anything about what she has been alleging. And the thing is it really doesn't pay him in the best life possible, and.

00:46:34
Speaker 3: There's always besides yeah, yeah, and.

00:46:37
Speaker 2: That's the part that's that's like unfortunate because you want to hear his side too, so you can understand what's going on.

00:46:44
Speaker 5: Right, and the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

00:46:47
Speaker 4: You know, it's probably some of her side, some of his side, and then there's the truth is in the middle.

00:46:55
Speaker 2: We now see the Read and a man come face to face. Finally, a man is super cold to the Read. She gets up and goes to the bathroom. Kyle takes an opportunity. This is Amanda isn't there to give a speech because they're celebrating the Reed's birthday. Oh by the way, this episode is dedicated to Natalie, who is Simon Fuller Thank you brain drops X soon to be ex wife or ex wife whatever, who got a happy ending after a massage.

00:47:27
Speaker 3: That's the top of shit.

00:47:28
Speaker 2: I'm gonna watch on TV those conversations that's with him.

00:47:33
Speaker 5: Happy ending is when it's fillatio. He had a full on sex with him. She admitted it.

00:47:39
Speaker 4: I can't even this is like a fantasy thing that is out fantasy world that I cannot believe it really happens. I still don't believe in the massage parlors that give happy endings. I know they're true because they've asked every man I know, but I don't believe. I just in my mind. I'm like, that's only you only read that in books. You don't, it's not real, Okay. The fact that she had sex with her Massuse she'd known for fifty one minutes of her life, is like, what the fuck? That's like taking the guy home from the bar that just bought you one cocktail in the suit as you get home.

00:48:13
Speaker 5: I don't understand any of that. That's only stuff you read a book. Carlos, I'm wow, it's amazing.

00:48:21
Speaker 4: She She sure made a name for her, didn't she on this episode?

00:48:24
Speaker 3: She did? But but, but but.

00:48:28
Speaker 5: Natalie, the one, the one I gotta come up.

00:48:32
Speaker 4: I wanted to be fast to come up with something like Natalie Massuse messuse sex you out.

00:48:39
Speaker 3: That?

00:48:39
Speaker 2: Or is a one nice stand on one Natalie stand or one Natalie hand something oh oh.

00:48:46
Speaker 5: Hello, that's so good?

00:48:49
Speaker 3: Or the Master messusse I wasn't gonna say something about the Master.

00:48:56
Speaker 5: But I'm not okay, I don't know.

00:49:00
Speaker 2: I stop myself, but Alexis My point is, this is a type of shit I want to watch on television.

00:49:11
Speaker 3: A woman of means, who's who's.

00:49:15
Speaker 2: Walking in with a ninety I mean a nine hundred and ninety dollars bag talking about having sex with her massus impromptu, like that's the shit that I'm like, I'm sorry.

00:49:28
Speaker 5: I have a whole other take to this, Carlos. She is in full on fu my ex.

00:49:35
Speaker 4: Husband mode because she walks in her first, her first she walks in inhing plaid scantily in a lingerie that you would wear, you know, to cook dinner when your husband walks home and sees you as an apron on. And then she then boasts about banging her maasuse that she's known fifty one minutes. So I it's total fuller from coming straight from his ex wife.

00:50:01
Speaker 5: And you know, he is cringing.

00:50:03
Speaker 4: I'm sorry, he's probably like he's not going, oh I wish I had her back.

00:50:07
Speaker 5: He's going, oh my.

00:50:07
Speaker 4: God, run farther and farther away and faster, like like, I don't know.

00:50:11
Speaker 5: I don't think he's sitting there going, dang, look what I lost. I think he's going. She's going through midlife crisis right now. Her watch it all on all national television.

00:50:23
Speaker 1: Bring it to me.

00:50:25
Speaker 2: I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it.

00:50:29
Speaker 3: I want to see more of Natalie on my screen.

00:50:31
Speaker 2: I love, love, love what she's bringing already in those few moments.

00:50:35
Speaker 4: So do you think she's going to be asked to be a up? Do you think she's going to be asked to be a friend of next season?

00:50:41
Speaker 3: Well, that's the thing. I want to see more from her.

00:50:43
Speaker 2: I think it's too early to tell, but what I will say is I listen the beauty.

00:50:49
Speaker 3: She's very pretty.

00:50:50
Speaker 2: The beauty of reality television is you want to see people on the shows, as you know, like Sis, who are saying things that that you don't hear in your everyday world and just you want to escape. So to see this beautiful woman who is talking about getting you know, a happier ending, right Like I I want to watch that. I want to watch that. I don't want to watch women who aren't you know, oh nothing happened to me? Like I love Erica Jane, but I'm bored because she's not telling us anything that's going on in her relationship.

00:51:34
Speaker 5: Can I got I got to interject? Can we give Eric the break?

00:51:37
Speaker 4: She has just gone through a lot, like to be married to someone for that many years and not know what he was doing behind your back with the finances and all that I'm sorry, Eric has been drug through the mud. She deserves a season. That's kind of like, Okay, she's a little boring right now, but they could show one of her performances for us, like even that much of one of her performances, and there you go, she'll bring it for the camera.

00:51:56

I for the record, I love Derey on the show. I think Derey is a fantastic housewife. I love the fact that Alexis Dere has somebody to spar with, because one thing about Deree Kimsley Alexis she backs down to nobody.
