Speaker 1: Welcome to NFL Daily, where we have been traded for a conditional late round pick. I am Greg Rosenthal here in the Chris Westling podcast studio, joined by Jordan Rodriek, and it's a little different today. Jordan, we're going to go over some of the news. It's Thursday, August twenty first. Trades are happening all over the league. They're going to keep happening, and so we wanted to make this show as current as humanly possible. Hit a bunch of those trades and transactions and news at the top, and then we're going to throw it to a segment that we taped earlier in the week where we drafted our fantasy teams for the year, and you insisted on not being part of anything fantasy football related because you hate fantasy football.

00:00:49
Speaker 2: So it's strong. It's strong. Not my area of expertise. I would say, not a fantasy football player myself.

00:00:58
Speaker 3: Fine, you would have made sense in this one.

00:00:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, I would have just been someone sitting off to the side just listening to dude's talk.

00:01:03
Speaker 4: It's like most of my life anyways.

00:01:05
Speaker 1: It was a lot of dudes, Marcus Grant, Mike Florio, Lawan Jones for the first time, all from the NFL Fantasy group, and then of course our friend Patrick Clayband. So we went five deep. We drafted about thirty plus players. We talked about all the strategy that is coming up in a little bit and it's a nice meaty segment. So I'm feeling the heat. Yay, I want to put a clock on us? Can we do all this news in ten minutes?

00:01:27
Speaker 3: I don't know.

00:01:28
Speaker 2: You talked for a long time about should it be ten minutes? Should it be twelve minutes? You talk more about that than I think this actual segment.

00:01:34
Speaker 1: Okay, well from ten minutes from now, Eric, can we do that? Can we put it on the clock and let's roll through because more stuff will happen as we're taping. It's just like a lot of little things, but it's answering questions that we've had throughout the off season. I'm going to start not with the trades, because I think the bigger names are actually the activations, and I find these interesting. Who has been activated off the pup list. This is that week where it's like, all right, it's go time. If you're going to try to play anywhere near the beginning of the season, you need to start practicing football, and so I'll list off a few names who have been activated. Chris Godwin surprisingly activated. The plan is to carry him on the roster at the start of the year. We also heard with the Bucks that Tristan Wurf's is going to be on the roster at the start of the year. Their left tackle interest. Doesn't mean they're ready for Week one, but they're going to be on the roster. Jalen McMillan, I don't know if we quite hit this on our last one though. It is going to miss about half the season, so that plays into the wide receiver equation. Lagarious Steed of the Titans, their cornerback, was activated this week. Darren Waller, the tight end with now with the Dolphins, and then Andrew Thomas, the left tackle of the Giants, who I've been tracking. You can take whatever you find the most interesting of all of these situations, but all guys who are at least taking a positive step towards getting back on the field.

00:02:53
Speaker 2: Yes, not actually surprising to me the Chris Godwin and the Tristan Wurf's situation because their timelines were slated optimistically for October right, So if you're going to mess with some of the IR designations, putting guys on, taking them off, depending on how the ramp up period for both goes. October is coming up very quick, first of all, and you wouldn't quite hit that six week window anyway for injured reserve in order to then start bringing people back. So I think that this makes a lot of sense that they're going to carry them both and they won't have to burn designations. Essentially they could potentially use them for other players down the line to then bring them back. So I think that this is interesting enough to where they're not starting the season with them on another designation, you know, they're starting the season with them actually in the building working back into what they've described. Todd Bowles has described as this like extended ramp up period. And then Darren Waller, we knew was going to have a little bit of a lengthier time back to actually participating in practices, getting his body back under him, back together after spending so much time away from football. We did know that Andrew Thomas was a little bit is the one I've kind of got my eye on because he's got to get back out there and get into taking these snaps and these reps is so important to that Giant's offensive line.

00:04:09
Speaker 1: Well, we'll see if any of these guys are actually ready week one. Lagarious Need, who we haven't heard from much, who's coming off of a knee injury which is different than the one that kept him sidelined all last year and is really important to that Titans team. Will he ever be a plus cornerback again? He says he thinks he'll be ready for Week one. None of them are certain to Andrew Thomas, I think it's taken a little longer than the Giants may be hoped. But yes, if you're on the reserve pup list, you have to miss at least the first four games of the season, so the window is open for.

00:04:40
Speaker 3: These guys to play earlier.

00:04:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, the Titan the Bucks rather have been hit more by injuries probably than any other team. You got the best left tackle in the league, Godwin. I think it's gone a little slower than they maybe were hoping, and then you lose a really good number three slash four receiver in McMillan. Let's get to the trades. Devon vle and this was the most interesting one. The rest are are mostly guys who probably weren't going to make the team. And maybe Devon Bailey was not going to make the Broncos. He got traded to the Saints for a fourth and a seventh round pick. So that's like the Jonathan Mingo price for the Cowboys a year ago, a trade that was roundly mocked by people like ourselves.

00:05:21
Speaker 3: And I would say this trade, at least.

00:05:22
Speaker 1: The New Orleans is getting roundly mocked, like people making fun of Mickey Loomis for giving up too much for Devon Veley from the Broncos.

00:05:29
Speaker 2: Any takeaways here my takeaway as I enjoyed your post about the situation that Sean Payton is still running the Saints.

00:05:35
Speaker 1: I know he just calls he calls up his guy, Mickey Loomis, who I'm not sure if he was in the wedding. I literally spent like thirty minutes trying to confirm this just to put it.

00:05:45
Speaker 4: In the tree, and it's greg.

00:05:46
Speaker 1: See, you couldn't confirm that he was in the wedding, but he was at the wedding. You know, they've called each other best friends before, and it's like Sean Payton just calls up his buddy and convinces him that he's got good offers for Devon Vailey are our friend Adam West reported that, you know, for the Saints Block Party podcast that, like other teams, the forty nine ers, he said, specifically, we're just offering like pick swaps, like late round pickswaps, and they gave up a fourth and a seventh. Now that said, uh, I kind of like Devon Vailey, like he could be their third or fourth best receiver their skill position group for the Saints, it's not bad if they actually had a good quarterback and an offensive line that works, and both of those. You know, the quarterback is obviously an uphill battle, and the offensive line to me is very TVD. I mean, I don't mind that group a lave Shaheed Vley. I kind of like what I see out of Mason Tipton. Jwan Johnson's Okay, you have Alvin Kamara, you have Kendre Miller. Like, that's not bad. The problem is process always with the Saints. You gave up way more than you needed to, and you gave Brandon Cooks seven point seven million dollars guaranteed this offseason.

00:06:50
Speaker 3: That's the worst contract. What does that mean? I'm just talking too much in general. Okay, that's fine a minute, mark, Okay, I feel good about that. I feel good about it.

00:07:00
Speaker 1: I mean, are you aware I was not that Brandon Cook's got seven point seven million dollars guaranteed in the year twenty twenty five. That's the worst contract I think anyone gave out all off season.

00:07:10
Speaker 2: Just it's just, you know, I don't think it moves the needle to the level that it's moving the needle for you, honestly.

00:07:16
Speaker 1: Just bad team building. I mean, that's a lot of money. I don't know if he's even going to make the team. He had less than three hundred yards last year. Like, who's giving out? Why are they doing that?

00:07:24
Speaker 5: Anyway?

00:07:24
Speaker 2: Well, they're also sending a fourth round pick and a seventh round unnecessarily.

00:07:29
Speaker 3: For a twenty seven year old.

00:07:30
Speaker 2: I don't know why these things continue to surprise you as basically my reaction.

00:07:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, teams are just going to call up like trying to take advantage he was a seventh round pick a year ago. You know, we're going to do a segment with your friend Cody Alexander. It's gonna air on Saturday that I'm really excited about things that changed our mind a little bit since the beginning training came. This Vley trade actually has some real world application in that I believe that the Broncos wide receiver group is a little further along than I did a month ago in terms of they really like their rookie Pat Bryant. Obviously, they have Marvin Mims there who they kind of know it with Courtland's Sutton, and then they really like the elevation at Troy Franklin and that's why you can make a trade like this. So I actually think there's a real world takeaway that the Broncos wide receiver group is much better than it was a year ago.

00:08:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, this was sort of just like shedding someone that they didn't necessarily need, that didn't necessarily fit Pat Bryant. I mean, they're really really excited about Pat Bryant.

00:08:27
Speaker 3: Third round pick.

00:08:28
Speaker 2: Sounds like he's going to be playing some of that like power slot.

00:08:31
Speaker 3: Kind of role. So it makes sense.

00:08:33
Speaker 4: So there you go. We've talked enough about this.

00:08:35
Speaker 1: I thought, okay, the other trades, I'll just mention Harrison Phillips, who was a captain previously for the Vikings, was traded for a sixth essentially and then a six and seventh swap. He's a defensive tackle, a veteran, gives some depth to the Jet. Sky More was traded for a twenty twenty seven six to seventh swap. Sometimes, too, when these trades are reported, there are conditions that they're almost embarrassed to say, like he has to make the team. He was not going to make the Chiefs, he might not make the Niners. They're just extremely injured there, and so that those were your trades. We don't need to hit those too much. I did notice Cam Hayward ended his holding. I don't know if he got anything out of it, Like we'll see if he gets anything contractually in the future. But Cam Hayward of the Steelers back on the field. And then we got the news Thursday the Eagles wide receiver Johnny Wilson, who was going to be their wide receiver for had an injury on Tuesday and will miss the season.

00:09:31
Speaker 2: I do want to point out one thing on the sky More thing. No, I don't think that this is going to solve their problems. And they're obviously waiting for DeMarcus Robinson to get back after his three game suspension.

00:09:42
Speaker 3: That was announced. So that's a nice little news and I get to knock out.

00:09:44
Speaker 2: Kyle Shanahan said it on CANBR that DeMarcus Robinson was going to miss the three games, but then also that they're allowed to appeal, so we'll kind of see if they end up doing that. That obviously that happened when DeMarcus Robinson was a member of the Los Angeles Rams here in LA last year and and they people in that market, Matt Barrows and Tim Khala Kamie as a snow fortiniteers plus minus. Today, all of this is spiraling around the Juwan Jennings situation. He's still quote unquote with the calf injury. However, Tim Kyle kami had like a suspicion and he didn't want to be aggregated, but I'm kind of blowing up his spot anyway. He had this suspicion that, like Kyle Shanahan, will reach a certain point where he would just rather trade him than work out a contract situation. Because of how frustrated the team seems to be getting about this, especially considering the receiver situation that they're in right now and Matt Barrows throughout was it Kendrick Bourne, yes, saying that Kyle's always had like his eye on Kendrick Bourne.

00:10:42
Speaker 3: Kendrick Bourne forty nine er.

00:10:44
Speaker 1: I'm going to say for a twenty twenty seven sixth it's happening.

00:10:48
Speaker 3: He's not.

00:10:48
Speaker 1: The problem is he's hurt right now, and so it's difficult to trade guys that are hurt. But yeah, they have I think Jacob Cowing, their young receiver, had a reoccurrence of his hamstring injury. They just keep getting hurt like no one is healthy. Russell Gage, who was maybe gonna play snaps for them, is now out for a couple of weeks. It's just it's a little bit of a mess, all right, Let's fly through the rest. Well, Mark Jackson got stepped on at practice. Everyone got panicked. Then we heard it's fine. It's not a big deal. He did miss practice Thursday, so it's a little bit of a deal. Let's at least track it. I'm sure he'd like to practice. The biggest news I have left is that Caleb McGarry is going to miss time into the regular season, the tackle for the Falcons, who just got paid, and that was just after news that his backup Storm Norton also was hurt. He was hurt over the weekend. That's six a six to eight week injury. Suddenly the Falcons are completely out of starting right tackles to start the season.

00:11:45
Speaker 3: That's not good.

00:11:45
Speaker 1: We've reached ten minutes and I'm still gonna go over and just tell you Matthew Judains back in the league. He's with the Dolphins, and yeah, we're going to see a little deal and Gabriel, we're going to see a little chadur this weekend. In that order, Joe Flacco will start a little preseason action. So that's the Brown situation. The Saints are not declaring a starter going into preseason week three, which is pretty rare that happens, but it does happen sometime. I believe the Seahawks in the Russell Wilson year did not. They waited till after the third week of the preseas.

00:12:15
Speaker 3: We did it. We we just went over a tiny bit. We're good, just a little kay.

00:12:20
Speaker 2: I think Eric is gonna need our producer is going to need something a little bit stronger next time to play you off the stage.

00:12:27
Speaker 3: As I think Honking is more.

00:12:31
Speaker 4: Let's be clear, this was never gonna.

00:12:32
Speaker 1: Happen more insulting it happened. All right, let's get to the fantasy Welcome to NFL Daily, where we are no longer in too many fantasy leagues, at least I'm not. I'm here in the Chris Westleying podcast studio surrounded by more gentlemen than I ever have been in this studio, and they are in too many fantasy leagues.

00:12:57
Speaker 3: Let's go right to left. They're all on.

00:13:00
Speaker 1: NFL Fantasy Live or the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast. LaQuan Jones the newest member of the podcast. Of course, you know and love Patrick Claybom maybe not the second one, and we've got Michael le f Florio and Marcus Grant. We're gonna it's Fantasy Day here at NFL. So we appreciate you guys. Sweet part of this, my world's colliding like it's it's this is this is why we do this. Yeah, and Patrick, you said you're only in like four leagues, but you guys are in double digits. And I had to get out of that life and I'm just I'm just focusing it down to about one league right now.

00:13:36
Speaker 5: So you this one that we're going to draft, to know, this one we're gonna draft, and.

00:13:40
Speaker 3: For the listeners out there.

00:13:41
Speaker 1: We're just gonna go through these obviously not a team that we're gonna track all season long, but I just wanted a way to talk about as many, you know, high leverage fantasy players as possible. So we're going to do a mock draft. We'll see how many picks, uh that we get.

00:13:56
Speaker 5: Through kept track of. Like their four man league last.

00:13:58
Speaker 1: Year, I do not I do not know what happened to that league, but I guess we'll just we'll just get going with the number one overall pick. And I like staying in an order and la kwan Uh. It's the first time you've been in the studio. Yeah, awesome, So you get the honors this time of the number one overall pick.

00:14:19
Speaker 6: All right, some folks might think I'm going wide receiver Chase, but I'm going to Bajon. It's Bjon by the way, Robinson at the one oh one spot. I mean, honestly, when Zach Robinson says he's flirting with the idea of getting Michael Pennix a little bit more vertical downfield, and that's kind of like what we want. And Bijeon he's one of those guys going to be running those routes. He's going to be getting those dump offs, and we already know he's in that freakedier when we look at Saquon Barkley.

00:14:45
Speaker 3: You said at first you got to stick with it. You got to stick with it a type of mustard real ones know.

00:14:53
Speaker 1: I've been trying to do this on game debut over the last few years with John because he said it before previous, and I think this is the time to do it because I'm totally with you. If I had had the number one overall pick, I would have taken that too. Are you guys different in your leagues? This is a PPR league for everyone else.

00:15:10
Speaker 3: There, I mean a standard.

00:15:11
Speaker 7: I'm taking Jamar Chase, but I don't have I have no quarrel at all with Jon Robinson.

00:15:16
Speaker 5: That's how I feel as well.

00:15:18
Speaker 3: Yeah, don't.

00:15:18
Speaker 1: I don't get it because to me, the wide receiver like Jamar Chase is amazing, But I don't see a huge difference between like wide receiver one and wide receiver seven or eight. Whereas you know, I think you could make the case and Gibbs and maybe saque are just like a special group of human athletes.

00:15:35
Speaker 8: Well, I think you include Jamar Chase in that share in that particular tier where, yeah, all those guys are threats to score anytime they touch the ball, but Jamar specifically do the location of where he touches the ball.

00:15:47
Speaker 5: Yeah, Bengals games are gonna refers to forty wins too.

00:15:50
Speaker 3: Okay, that's totally fair.

00:15:52
Speaker 1: I do like that it's year two of the Falcons, and I like the continuity that Jamir Gibbs has in Detroit, so I will take him with the second pick in this draft.

00:16:04
Speaker 3: Is that weird?

00:16:05
Speaker 5: That's kind of weird.

00:16:06
Speaker 3: I haven't seen that.

00:16:08
Speaker 5: Wow, h Chase not going in the first two picks is like, I've never seen that.

00:16:11
Speaker 1: All, well, that's this is why I like to do this. And I'm the Stinky Davis who like doesn't know.

00:16:18
Speaker 3: Exactly stinky, I don't know. That's an all phrase of our friend did hands is in the studio.

00:16:26
Speaker 5: I'm probably going to start using that now.

00:16:29
Speaker 1: I think it's useful to be another example the poker player who doesn't exactly play by all the rules at the table and you mess with everyone else. And to me, it's not that logical that like Chase is just one because he was like because he wasn't that last year. He was just in the mix of all these great wide receivers and and to me, I guess I just would feel a little better of getting some great ride wide receivers on the way back. Whereas Gibbs, I mean, he's just like everything you can possibly want in an NFL running back and on the absolute perfect team.

00:17:00
Speaker 8: Yeah, on a season where running backs went nuclear. Actually the top score at the running back position because Saquan set out that last game was tremier Gibbs and you could. I know it's it's different and we haven't seen it, but these two going one too makes perfect sense because they're both like in that contract here if that's your thing. They're both explosive guys who've managed to be you know, healthy, So like, yeah, that it makes sense.

00:17:21
Speaker 5: I enjoy it from a like how can you not be romantic about football? Like these two guys are going to be hot together their entire career and now and for them to be like the first two running backs off the board is really cool to me.

00:17:31
Speaker 1: Also, I've been owning this horrible tweet that I made after they drafted Jamir Gibbs where I said that Gibbs and Montgomery weren't really that big of an upgrade over Jamal Adams, Williams and Deandres. Ever, since, like every good prime technique, it's partly because I bring it up all the time.

00:17:49
Speaker 3: I retweeted that right now.

00:17:53
Speaker 1: Every single Lions game, I get some of those retweets, So I'm trying to like fix it. By the way, since I rarely get to do this with bijon last week, I talked to Cowboys linebacker Tomarvion overshown and asked him who's the best football player he ever won against, and he said, hands down, It'sjon Like and explained all the reasons why so ball, Yeah you got you got the third pick peop.

00:18:17
Speaker 8: Well to hook him there. I'm reading the disambugation on Stinky Davis. There's a lot of folks real Yeah, it's a clown from season two of episode of Garfield and Friends, a character that I haven't and Costello show. I'm thinking Jamar Chase because you know we've we've already talked about it. Yeah, the the this idea that Al Golden it was all lose fault and Al Golden is going to come in and fix the Cincinnati Bengals defense. I don't I don't necessarily believe that. Yeah, I don't think they might be as bad. They're still going to need to score a whole bunch. Saw him in the preseason for some reason. Times out, Jamar Chase is still good. I don't know that we need to try to break tackles and die for the pylon in the preseason.

00:18:55
Speaker 5: But yeah, I've seen enough. He's he's my pick here. Yeah.

00:18:58
Speaker 1: And when I was trying to like push back it all against Chase, it's he's still the wide receiver one. He's still like as safe as it could possibly be. Yeah, I just feel like there's less there, all right, go Mike.

00:19:08
Speaker 5: Uh this, I don't love this spot because, like I think you guys took all the obvious top guys, but I'm gonna go you have to pick here between your top wide receivers. I think I'm gonna go with ce d Lamb. I think a lot of people would go justin Jefferson, but I like Dak Prescott a little bit more than Jeffer, than JJ McCarthy, but even more. I think we're gonna get Ceedee Lamb in the slot. A whole bunch and That's what led to his breakout year two years ago. Last year moved back more to the X. I just think with Pickens there, Lamb is gonna just go off.

00:19:37
Speaker 6: I mean, look, man, I am all bored for CD Lamb, But at that spot, I don't really take Neighbors like I do.

00:19:44
Speaker 5: Wow, I think there's really.

00:19:45
Speaker 6: The video game numbers that we're seeing just with the Russell Wilson moon ball, Like we're seeing him hit this two random guys that are probably you know, second and third string. Now insert Malik Neighbors in that department. This is where you're gonna get that tier level of guys of like Jamar Chase justin Jefferson there.

00:20:04
Speaker 5: I do think Neighbors is in that year challenge.

00:20:05
Speaker 3: I'm a huge Boots.

00:20:06
Speaker 7: I guess I'm just not sold that the Russell Wilson moon ball still exists on the same level it did years ago.

00:20:11
Speaker 1: There, and I'm not convinced that he's going to be the starter past that part September twenty fifth or something, just throwing out a ramps.

00:20:18
Speaker 5: At some point Jackson Dart's taken over there.

00:20:20
Speaker 6: But that was one of the games that, like, I mean, one of the things that the Giant struggled with last season was that deep ball and Florida. You hit it on the last episode twenty percent completion rate on the walls that are downfield. Last like that was completely strapped to bad quarterback play. Now you get the upgrades. You got Winston, he got Dart back there. Even Russell's not cooking in December because the recipe is a little bit changed. You know, he gets cold around that time because he's iding. I think that you know, even if a Winston comes in, we see the spike. We see double Jerry Jews production last season. So it's like he is in a safe spot right now where I think he's going to be cracking that top three of the Fantasy wide receivers that we known in love.

00:20:58
Speaker 1: I think Lamb is a little say for health wise, just because Neighbors freaks me out a little bit that he's always missing practice and he's a younger player like Lamb has proven it a year after year. I do think there might be a little more Jake Ferguson and George Pickens to divvy it up, but there's obviously like a bigger pie.

00:21:13
Speaker 5: I love Neighbors. The only difference from me is you don't have to worry about a quarterback change. Yes, that that leads me to Lamb and Jefferson Cutlets in.

00:21:22
Speaker 1: Jersey, unless God forbid anything happens to that three of them, because catastrophic Joe Miltain's thrown that ball over the mountain and I don't all right, Marcus, you're up with the fifth pick and we're not doing a snake draft, so we're gonna go to Lawan after this with Okay.

00:21:38
Speaker 5: All right, that's cool.

00:21:39
Speaker 7: By the way, Stinky Davis also played three Major League seasons between between the Detroit Tigers and the Saint Louis Brown's career two sixty four hitter with seven total wait.

00:21:49
Speaker 1: For real, for real, what years? And Costello that is that? Well, that's where it must have started. And then Garfield's like copying it and it's just become.

00:21:58
Speaker 5: A season two episode of gar Field in Front.

00:22:01
Speaker 7: He played for the Tigers in nineteen thirty two and thirty three, then he took a break and he played for the Saint Louis Browns in thirty seven.

00:22:07
Speaker 5: Wow do you think that break was?

00:22:09
Speaker 3: I have no idea, probably like I don't know care.

00:22:11
Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what I was bro. It was literally you know war exactly alright.

00:22:17
Speaker 7: So here in the fifth spot here, the beauty of being in this spot is that you guys have taken.

00:22:21
Speaker 5: Like a lot of good guys.

00:22:22
Speaker 7: So I can be like, well, I took this guy because you know, that's that's who was sort of left to me. So like, you know, the the onus is put on you all at this point, I'm gonna take Justin Jefferson here because I remember this time last year we sort of downgraded Justin Jefferson.

00:22:37
Speaker 5: We're like, Sam Donald's the starting quarterback. I don't know what's gonna happen.

00:22:40
Speaker 7: Are we worried about it and everybody sort of knocked him down draft boards, and then you know, it turns out that Justin Jefferson is still good regardless of their quarterback. I mean, it definitely helped that Donald had a career season, but Justin Jefferson was still really good. And so I think at this point, even with JJ McCarthy, I think we still believe in Kevin O'Connell's offense. We believe in Justin Jefferson's talent, so I have zero problems taking him here.

00:23:02
Speaker 1: I totally agree, and uh, I feel like, what's why him and Takuan, for instance, last year fell a little too.

00:23:08
Speaker 3: Far to me?

00:23:09
Speaker 1: He is, That's why I don't think there's some crazy difference between like him and Chase and Lamb and apparently Malik Neighbors who I guess it's coming next.

00:23:16
Speaker 3: He's coming next.

00:23:17
Speaker 6: But let me pivot a little bit because I don't know if you know, but Stafford's back, Like, uh will be my pick at the one oh cinter Oh okay, because with Stafford back in pads.

00:23:27
Speaker 3: You just talked. You just spent like five minutes saying, but I'm just.

00:23:30
Speaker 6: Saying, I'm going to take neighbors here, but I want to put Pooka's name into consideration, Like I might actually stare at neighbors a little bit, but Pukah's going to be in the peripherals there. I feel good taking him as well here because I do think with Stafford back, so who are you taking? I'm taking pa Puka is the pick man. Superman is back. The shirt is on for a reason because Stafford's back in office, and I do feel like Pooka he's going to have those video number games, and I think, when do you add into DeVante Adams. There's going to be a lot more scoring opportunities where I think the pukin Nakua touchdowns may go up as well.

00:24:06
Speaker 1: Hmmm, all right, I'm I'm up next, and I have to consider, you know, this isn't a real team.

00:24:12
Speaker 3: So if it's.

00:24:13
Speaker 1: Just for value of where we're at, like Saquon as your RB two would be is amazing, or you know at this spot, uh there's another you know receiver or three I love. But I I think if it was my team, I would go with Saquon. I I have the same concerns that anyone would of all that workload last year, and I don't think they're gonna really let off from him. But I'm just hoping that he is like Derrick Henry, like built different and that he's just gonna he's gonna be able to hold up and not expecting everything that happened a year ago to happen. That he's so safe because of the touchdowns that I don't think you should go any further in the first round.

00:24:55
Speaker 8: Yeah, and even if you if you're projecting regression like what you could project Ja Hurts touchdown scoring regression, right then that's in Saquon's number up. You know, Saquon carrying my team last year. I hate that I don't get a chance to have him in this hypothetical.

00:25:11
Speaker 1: I mean, if this these word teams, I would be the only man in America with Bijon and I mean Gibbs and Saquon as my top two.

00:25:20
Speaker 3: You know what.

00:25:20
Speaker 7: I'm sure at some point we'll get a tweet or something somebody like, hey, so I got Jamior Gibbs and Saquon Barkley and some keeper league Josh Jacobs, Like what do I do?

00:25:30
Speaker 5: Like, Okay, all right, trade.

00:25:33
Speaker 3: We are with the eighth pick Patrick.

00:25:35
Speaker 8: And it could be it could be famous last words. And I know people would say it's a reach because Ashton Genty is in that top ten for a lot of people. And I love the idea of linebackers in conflict. Brock Bowers is GENTI the priority, like how that works out. But I gotta take Derrick Henry once again. I know that there's a push from Keaton, Mitchell and Glad to see him back in healthy. Yeah, there could be some six yard Lamar touchdown scrambles, but let's be honest. On second and goal from the two it's probably going to twenty two and forever, however long it lasts. Yeah, I'll be the last one on.

00:26:11
Speaker 2: Well.

00:26:11
Speaker 7: The other part of this, though, is the Ravens have never really forced the issue with Lamar Jackson at the goal line. I mean, he gets his rushing touchdowns, but usually he's running them in from you know, ten twelve yards out when they get close. It's never been hey, we're gonna, you know, use you for a sneak. We're gonna do a tush push. And that was even before Derrick Henry. Now you've got this behemoth in the backfield, why wouldn't you turn around and just hand it off to him from the two and let him do his work.

00:26:35
Speaker 1: My biggest basic concern for him is it just was nice taking him the last few years when his stock was dow, you know what I mean, Like you said, you'll be the last one from that would work. And my friend Evin Silva, the you know, he would always call him the big dog.

00:26:52
Speaker 3: Every year. He would always be like, the big dog is underrated.

00:26:55
Speaker 1: And you know that's proven to be right way more often than it's been wrong. But I do I just never love drafting anyone who was getting taken a few rounds later.

00:27:05
Speaker 3: He's still in the second round now, in the middle or the second round, not if you're Patrick Clayboy.

00:27:09
Speaker 8: Yeah, a very good piece of an offense that was almost too efficient last year. There were a lot of fourteen, seventeen and twenty six yard touchdowns where there could have been touchdowns left on the board for Derrick Henry.

00:27:22
Speaker 5: I'm fine. I have been as entire career.

00:27:24
Speaker 1: By the way, it is an awesome backfield, though he has probably as good as good backups as he's ever had with Justice Hill and Keaton Mitchell.

00:27:31
Speaker 5: Right, you're up, Florio, I'm gonna take the guy that we've spent most of my time talking about. Last pick. Yeah, leak neighbors, Like, I agree with everything l Q said the deep ball being there. I think talent wise that he is on the same par as like a Chase Jefferson Lamb and I think by the end of the year will put him in that group, but he has to get there first. But yeah, I mean, he was putting up historic numbers with the quarterbacks that he had last season, so I think there's three quarterbacks on the roster now better than anything throwing him the ball last year, So I'm all about maliems in round one.

00:28:04
Speaker 1: That's a fair point that like, even if they are switching, I'm chicking Jackson dart Over. Yeah at last year, and if Jamis gets in there, it should be a lot of fun.

00:28:12
Speaker 3: That the back problem in camp has been like a little spooked.

00:28:16
Speaker 1: But I do like the camp reports before he got hurt where they said the target distribution in practice was like he had twenty seven targets. The next closest receiver had like six.

00:28:24
Speaker 5: I mean the neighbors is one of those guys that just doesn't practice, you know, Like I wouldn't surprise me if during the year, like Wednesdays he is his scheduled off day, Like he's just one of those.

00:28:33
Speaker 6: That's why Rondo Robinson went in the third round. He's getting pumped up in my Chaos Home, your homeliest super in the third round Travis Hunter one on one, So yeah that I don't trust anything that's happening. Marcus, You're up all right?

00:28:50
Speaker 7: So I got there are a couple of different names I am looking at here, but you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna make through im, say Christan McCaffrey at this point, I feel like the attitude around him has changed because early in draft season, for those of us Sikos who've been doing this for a few months, he was originally going on in the third round, and everybody's like freaked out, And I think everybody started to remember that when he's healthy, he's still on the field for like ninety percent of the snaps. He is still the engine that kind of makes this in this offense go. The two and a half games we saw him last year, he looked like Christian McCaffrey again. He got the ball at sudden, he was productive, and he gets hurt and we don't see him for the rest of the year. And so understanding that, yes, there is injury risk baked in, I think that's why he's going late first round now early second in some drafts. I'm remembering that, you know, the workhorse back is sort of an endangered species, but he is one of the ones that still exists in this league.

00:29:45
Speaker 1: Is there any doubt about if he was healthy, because to me, he's one oh one again or one oh two if he I think he just told me he plays seventeen games this year. Oh he To me, he's one on one or one of two. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, folks.

00:29:56
Speaker 6: I don't want to fill that burn though, like a lot of fantasy rosters crumbled because he went off the board.

00:30:00
Speaker 3: Well, look one take advantage like Marcus is doing.

00:30:03
Speaker 7: I had one or two rousslers last year where I was just sitting around waiting and yeah, I was trying to piece it together and it wasn't fun. But like when he was there, it was everything I wanted it. Like this guy's average. He has two different injuries per season at this point.

00:30:15
Speaker 5: The most interesting fantasy career ever, I think, because like there's like three or four years where if you didn't have it was like good luck winning your league, and then like three years where if you had him it was like, yeah, it's over for you.

00:30:25
Speaker 3: It feels like maybe the one last great year for Yeah, he.

00:30:28
Speaker 8: Still plays for the coach that literally forced him the ball seven times in a Gold Coast.

00:30:34
Speaker 5: Situation, absolutely meaningless, strait nothing.

00:30:40
Speaker 3: All right, lakwan, you are up with what is now the eleventh pick.

00:30:44
Speaker 6: Now, this might surprise these two over here, but I'm going to go Brian Thomas Junior. Now, I talked to me O'Brian lately on my last pod that I had over there on FT and Fantasy where we were talking about the function the identity of this Jaguars offense and it's Brian Thomas Junior. They were going to feed him the ball. The volume is going to be their for him, and I understand that like folks are like, well me as the Trevor mid Lawrence hater here, but I do think that it's gonna come down to, like Trevor mid Lawrence needs to step up and get rid of the mid in the middle name and be able to get the ball to Brian Thomas Junior. So I'm hoping that this target share is in that twenty five percent range. Okay, but Trevor Mid Lawrence, get on track, buddy, we need these fantas.

00:31:23
Speaker 5: Can you get it?

00:31:23
Speaker 7: Can you get a twenty five percent target share? With Travis Hunter walking the Earth?

00:31:26
Speaker 6: Travis Hunter me O'Brien. What she was speaking about was like he needs to be looked at as a sittional, situational player, like he's going to be in certain packages. He's not in the twelve personnel packages right now, so he's going to be placed in certain areas on the field where this play he's going to be relevant or there's gonna be one week where like, hey, you gotta we need him on the corners because we're banged up in the secondaries.

00:31:47
Speaker 1: Okay, like you, I don't know if you've done a lot of shows with Patrick before Laquad because colle making up a nickname colling Trevor Lawrence mid is funny.

00:31:59
Speaker 5: But that's like the comes have been mid.

00:32:00
Speaker 8: But I mean Lacaun was talking up like Milik Neighbors with hypothetical multiple quarterbacks, So like, I think like he's not. There's still confidence in BTJ with trev because you know Leakwon doesn't think too.

00:32:12
Speaker 5: Highly of lar.

00:32:14
Speaker 8: I think the circumstances in Jacksonville have been more of an issue.

00:32:18
Speaker 5: Urban Meyer was run around, you know, kicking player, kicking people in a good time. Red Shirt year.

00:32:23
Speaker 8: As far asways the second edition, Doug Peterson exclusively feeling like running mesh twenty seven times the game like that. I think Trevor Lawrence will be fine, but you know, the future will dictate how.

00:32:38
Speaker 3: People I'm I'm a little worried.

00:32:39
Speaker 1: And Brian Thomas Junior was my guy in the draft and fantasy last year or two, and it all worked out amazing.

00:32:47
Speaker 3: I am a little worried about, like.

00:32:49
Speaker 1: The the heights that that he's being drafted among the best receivers in football when there are a couple issues. Okay, Travis under might be situational for now. If by week five he might, it's not crazy to imagine him being the best receiver on the team.

00:33:06
Speaker 3: I do like.

00:33:07
Speaker 1: I love what I've seen out of Trevor Lawrence so far in the preseason. By the way, I just think his mind is moving a little faster, so I'm buying in on Liam Cohen and I don't like that. Like every single day I hear how Brian Thomas is dropping passes at practice. I'm not like panicked about it, but I'm just hearing about it. And then I see it in the preseason that happened again. I'm just like a me makeup is what you will. His most productive games last year were with Mac Jones. Ay, I mean, that's weird you can do that.

00:33:32
Speaker 7: I truly don't know what it means, but it is a fact that his most productive games.

00:33:35
Speaker 5: Were with Mac Jones.

00:33:36
Speaker 1: Okay, So that gets to my pick and why I would take I was thinking about taking Nico Collins last time around and now I'm taking him here and I'm just taking the guys that I love. Sometimes he gets so wrapped up in the fantasy of it all, just like who's the best player. I just feel more confident that a Nico Collins at this point is a better football player than a Brian Thomas junior and maybe even a Malik Neighbors. I know that's not how fantasy works, but I've just I've just seen it. To me, he is a top five dude, like as just at the position, and he's got c J.

00:34:07
Speaker 3: Stroud.

00:34:07
Speaker 1: I think the offense in general is it's going to be a lot more competent. And if we're talking about like target shares and everything, it's a pretty steep drop from Nico Collins to either Christian Kirk or.

00:34:19
Speaker 3: Number two Higgins Man the clone Man.

00:34:22
Speaker 5: But there's no question who one is in Houston, right.

00:34:25
Speaker 1: Higgins is his backup though, like to me, Higgins is not draftable on fantasy leagues because he literally is playing Nico Collins' position, like Xavier Hutchinson is going to get more snaps I think than Jayden Higgins at least to start.

00:34:37
Speaker 5: The Ioways State guys there or just pure literally Okay, if Christian Kirk gets hurt, Jalen nowoll Europe.

00:34:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's an easier path, right or just that like eventually he passes Kirk, whereas like no one's displaced.

00:34:48
Speaker 5: No, no, no, I guess.

00:34:49
Speaker 6: I'm covered a deep sleever and Jayleen No. I mean, if he has that easy pass to be in that slot position, I think maybe he's worth a watchless.

00:34:56
Speaker 8: And yeah, there's more, there's more clarity on down the roster, and I think that's I that the Mechi trade was easy for Cassario own company to do because the talent at wide receiver that they brought in kind of makes them makes them super deep. And I got sniped by Greg because I thought I thought it was a great sniper opportunity to take a really good wide receiver, one of the best. Uh So I'm going to go back to the guy I almost picked last time, and I'm just going to add depth to my flex is solved. I'll take Ashton Gent because I did see uh Pete kind of loading it up with carries over the course of preseason week two, the explosive run where he crushed or agrees with you, Yeah, he's probably gonna have to watch that one for a while, you know, him welcoming in a player to the NFL on the on the other side of things.

00:35:44
Speaker 5: But they're they're going to be explosive.

00:35:46
Speaker 8: I saw Geno throw that first ball to brock Bowers on the very first plane. This is it on the Raiders offense.

00:35:54
Speaker 5: It's going to be fun and Jens is going to be a big part of that.

00:35:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that makes a lot of sense, and I think that's right where he's slotted running back wise in this draft. We can talk about things a little more big picture. How do you and we're going to get to these guys, but how do you view that sort of like tier break after Let's say Henry and McCaffrey are are like one level.

00:36:17
Speaker 3: Is genty in that level with them?

00:36:19
Speaker 1: Or do you have him further down maybe with the next group of guys.

00:36:22
Speaker 5: So for me, I have Bijons Sake one, and Gibbs as their own tier, and then I have gent in there with Henry with CMC. I have Devon Chen in that group guys that I think could be the RB one overall, but their pats are a little less clear than like a Gibbs or Bijon, who obviously are going top two.

00:36:42
Speaker 3: Do you want to take right now? Just no, just conversation.

00:36:48
Speaker 5: I legitimately thought that's what you were going to do in this Yeah, well, I mean I could, he would be the running back I would take, Okay, but there's a receiver that using your Nico Collins Lodge. Yes, Like, I don't think he should be on the board at all here, And I think for fantasy and real life he's better than some of the people that win.

00:37:03
Speaker 3: AJ Brown.

00:37:04
Speaker 5: Yeah, Like, I think AJ Brown is super underrated. And last year the Eagles had the run heaviest offense not just in the league like in years, and AJ Brown's full season pace was still fourteen hundred yards. Like it's just so funneled through him. And I think Philly has to throw the ball more.

00:37:19
Speaker 3: They love that pick.

00:37:20
Speaker 1: I think he's so underrated for fantasy depends where you're looking, Like some places have him as like a top eight to ten wide receiver or even higher, like we're taking him, and I think that makes sense. But we had on in the house, my son Walker.

00:37:35
Speaker 3: He's ten.

00:37:35
Speaker 1: He's entering like year three or four of fantasy. I think four and he's very into it now, so you know, not to pump up a competitor. But the ESPN Fantasy guys, they do a good job with that live draft that they do on and we're screaming at the television. I think they got into maybe the fourth round, definitely deep third, and AJ Brown is still sitting there. To me, I'm taking him in my draft, very likely in the in the second round, like if I have a pick somewhere between like fourteen and twenty or sixteen and twenty two, like I'm taking I think.

00:38:08
Speaker 5: He should be a first Yeah, I'll take him in Brown two.

00:38:10
Speaker 1: I think you should be where he was last year, which was like a first, second turn type of guy.

00:38:13
Speaker 7: Well, and the thing you talk, you guys talk about with Saquan I think one of the I guess mild concerns about him is that last year no team threw the ball fewer times than the Eagles, and I am hard pressed to think that happens again. It looks I don't you're not gonna suddenly turn around start throwing it forty times a game. But I do think you're gonna see Jalen Hurts throw it a little bit more and I think AJ Brown becomes a beneficiary.

00:38:33
Speaker 6: I do think like at a higher rate, like you will want them to throw the ball more. But AJ Brown has proven to be one of the most efficient wide receivers out because when Jalen Hurts takes that deep ball, it's accurate, it's there and it's going to AJ Brown. So I do like you know that when AJ Brown slips, like I may think though, there's another wide receiver I may think of instead of AJ Brown, and that's Drake London. Like those two are like smack dab next.

00:38:56
Speaker 5: Man you Want's.

00:38:59
Speaker 6: Just based on we saw Michael Pinnox in those three games with Drake London. It was incredible yardage and like even with Kirk Cousins in there, like he kind of was capping Drake London's full potential, Like you sold the yards per perception literally jumped from eleven yards to sixteen. That's thirteen heights. Like that's where you're gonna see Drake London get a lot more yards.

00:39:18
Speaker 1: I loved what Marcus said too about the Eagles offense. I think if you read between the lines of this offseason, I think the idea is to throw them ball more that we this is what we need to work on is but we've been working on all off season. I think they I think DeVante and AJ tamp down some of their personal you know, not selfishness, but like their desire for numbers and pass and the organization is very aware of that, and I think they know they need to be a little more bound.

00:39:48
Speaker 3: So I'm totally with you. I think they're gonna throw the ball more.

00:39:50
Speaker 1: All right, let's do one more pick with Marcus and then we'll take a quick break.

00:39:54
Speaker 7: All Right, we're talking about wide receivers, and I keep I keep looking at the sheet making sure that I'm not just something. How's I'm on Ross Saint Brown still here? Yeah, that's that's where I'm going. I'm taking I'm on Ross Saint Brown at this point. You know, I guess there's concern because Ben Johnson's not there anymore. But I'm on Ross still good, and he's still gonna get a ton of targets, and I'm I'm I'm taking a cautioning people. By the way, in case people don't know, the offensive coordinator is John Morton, not to be confused with former USC and Detroit Lions wide receiver Johnny Morton.

00:40:27
Speaker 5: They are two very different people.

00:40:28
Speaker 7: Just in case you thought that the former receiver got into coaching, that is not the case. But you know, everybody's like, what's gonna be what's gonna happen with John Morton running the show and not Ben Johnson, Like he knows who his good players are, Like he's gonna figure out how to get the ball to I'm on raw and to Jamior get Like we're not scared of taking Jamior Gibbs in the.

00:40:45
Speaker 3: Top three picks, right, Monra guy? You know?

00:40:48
Speaker 7: So like why why why are we gonna stop worshiping? Stop worshiping? Yeah, the sun god in fantasy, Like why why are we doing this? So I really was surprised that he hung on this.

00:40:57
Speaker 1: So Dan Campbell is an offensive mind head coach. He's been there since day one with them and Jared Goff as as well, and like he's not That's where he wins.

00:41:07
Speaker 8: It's the aesthetics that he doesn't get the credit as an offensive minded head coach because he's too big and strong and talks about my kneecap.

00:41:13
Speaker 5: But you have to have like a lab code on with beakers.

00:41:17
Speaker 6: Well.

00:41:19
Speaker 5: Of a decoordinator classes and Jordan's to practice. You know, that's time to do it.

00:41:23
Speaker 1: It is one of my favorite like dumb under the radar storylines this year is how annoyed Dan Campbell is in general of the narrative that they're going to be worse with Ben Jonson. Like, I think everyone with the Lions is just sick of hearing like, oh Ben Johnson this, Ben Johnson that, and especially from the coaching staff side of the thing. You can kind of tell when you hear Dan Campbell talk that he's like, I'm here, bro, this guy's gotten way too much credit. All right, let's take a quick break. We've gone around the table three times. I thought we might get like fifty players in today. That is definitely not happened. We've gone fifteen players deep. But we'll keep going after this. Back on NFL Daily, our super producer Eric Roberts tells me he has the results of last year's fantasy draft. So it's a little delayed, but we are going to declare a champion.

00:42:21
Speaker 3: Now let's see not the results, but it's the teams and we could do some just kind of eyeball him.

00:42:26
Speaker 1: Well, I know, let's let's just let's see the graphic uh and yes everyone subscribe. Watch on YouTube you can see it as well. Team Marcus smartly led the Way with Jane Daniels had a Jamara in the mix. I like that team with.

00:42:42
Speaker 5: The Christian McCaffrey Canci.

00:42:43
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it might be a team killer. Let's go on to the next team. My team with Josh Allen, Saquon Man, I.

00:42:52
Speaker 5: Think I think that's the winner.

00:42:54
Speaker 3: Jefferson, A J.

00:42:55
Speaker 1: Brown, Talton, a couple of week spots there, but that's looking good. Team Clay Bahn, Lamar, Jehan Gibbs, Tyree Cup.

00:43:05
Speaker 3: And Pitts. I think my team got a bill better.

00:43:08
Speaker 1: And then finally Team Florio, Anthony Richards, Anthony Richards, Isaiah Pacheco. I'm not even going to read the rest of them because that team stinks. Four good ras, CD McBride, you're not good. I'm gonna go ahead and do it. I'm declaring myself the championship.

00:43:26
Speaker 5: I think that's fair.

00:43:29
Speaker 3: Let's go.

00:43:31
Speaker 1: Unfortunately, that didn't happen in my actual league. Had lost in the first round with Saquon Barkley. Just you're through any good enough? All right, Lacon, you're up. And this is the sixteenth pick, and Patrick is ambitious. He says we can get through fifty still, I don't think.

00:43:48
Speaker 6: I don't know that, But I'm going with the guy that I spoke about before, Drake London. I have high expectations for him and this offense over there in Atlanta, and Zach Robinson wants to get this offense to be a little bit more a going downfield aggressive, So those yards, those touchdowns are all going to increase this year where I think that Drake London can definitely crack that top five.

00:44:08
Speaker 3: He is one of my dark horses. I don't you know.

00:44:10
Speaker 1: It's funny because I was saying him versus A. J. Brown as disrespectful. First of all, looking at the ADP, he literally is going ahead of A J. Brown, so it's not a crazy take. Secondly, I do think his numbers would have been on another planet, and he really is that dude, And unlike AJ Brown, he won't have as much competition I don't think for reception.

00:44:30
Speaker 3: So that makes total sense.

00:44:31
Speaker 1: When I'm thinking about this draft, I'm thinking about, like, all right, who do I want to kind of plant some flags on to take higher than maybe ADP is and Chase Brown is really high on that list for me, and so once again it looks like I've sniped Patrick fold up the running backs. I just s he's everything you want out of a fantasy running back in terms of the offense, his ability to stay on the field, his ability to catch passes. He passes the eye test, He's gotten a little better each year of his career, and it just couldn't be a better SCE situation for him.

00:45:01
Speaker 8: Yeah, it's so so useful, especially the passing game around the goal because a lot of folks think, oh, you know, you gotta have a sledgehammer to get touchdowns. No, Like, the way they utilize them in the red zone makes it even more even more clear.

00:45:14
Speaker 1: I mean, you know they're giving the ball in the in the goal line too, like in the biggest of the spots. A lot of times it's the third down backs, it's the James Whites of.

00:45:21
Speaker 3: The world breaking tackles.

00:45:23
Speaker 5: Still should have a Super Bowl MVP.

00:45:25
Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, you're at Patrick. Then I will get.

00:45:27
Speaker 8: Some positional value here and take brock Powers because he's the wide receiver, one of the of the Las Vegas Raiders, and I get him at a tight end spot where I feel there is there's going to be a golf and I think there's going to be a golf for years where Brock Bowers will be in a tier of his own.

00:45:44
Speaker 2: Hm M.

00:45:45
Speaker 5: I feel confident here and I can get a wide receiver somewhere else.

00:45:48
Speaker 6: I'm thinking that Brock Powers might be a little inflated right now. There's going to be situational targets that we're going to be looking at last season where I think the identity of this Raiders offense is atching gent. That's why we're seeing him not being used out wide. In the last preseason game, he was strictly in the type position as a tight end. So I think there's other passing options there as well that we may be sleeping on. Yeah, and Jack Besh, he's a physical wife, no man, I'm doing.

00:46:17
Speaker 3: He gave a lot of.

00:46:17
Speaker 5: Run Jack the last they did.

00:46:20
Speaker 8: And they have one of the more aggressive quarterbacks in the NFL who makes a lot of downfield targets.

00:46:27
Speaker 5: And Norton, Yeah, well, sleepy sleepy Sea spezer out there.

00:46:31
Speaker 8: And I think right, Trey Tucker stretches the field. Uh, of course, of course he gets a few targets. The most targets on this team. I feel very confident are going to go to.

00:46:40
Speaker 1: An I was sold on brock Bauers fantasy this year when Gino had the quote in training camp where he said, like, I just feel bad on the throws.

00:46:52
Speaker 3: I don't throw it too.

00:46:55
Speaker 1: He literally says, like I feel like I should throw it to him every single snap. I do think mid second round for a tight end. Maybe that's maybe I'm just old school, but.

00:47:04
Speaker 5: That's what I don't like.

00:47:05
Speaker 1: It's just hard expensive. It's hard for me to get over that, which I shouldn't. I shouldn't be like that. I remember Kelsey was up there a couple of years ago. It's like it never feels good to me.

00:47:13
Speaker 7: Every every few years we cycled through that tight because it was it was Gronk for a while, then it was Kelsey and now Bowers. Is that actually we sort of did. It was Sam Laporta, but it wasn't quite as bad. You only had one year of you.

00:47:25
Speaker 1: Only got to play one and so that that's that's hard for me when I I maybe disagree where I don't think it's a huge gap between him McBride and Kidtle, but those guys all deserve in the spot.

00:47:37
Speaker 5: League has the more I think it makes sense when you only need one. I'm like, but we don't have any rules here, So.

00:47:43
Speaker 1: There we were living in Talent, completely lawless. We're trying to mirror the country as a whole. Florio, you're up.

00:47:51
Speaker 5: I'll go with two I brought up last time. I'll go with Devon Han who is my RB four. As a rookie, he averaged almost eight yards per carry, and then last year he had the points as a receiver amongst all backs. And I don't think a whole lot changes for Miami. Like I think they want to to get rid of the ball as quickly as possible, and that is dumping it off to a Chan. And he's the only dolphin I want this year.

00:48:11
Speaker 1: Is there anyone else with me? I'm kind of the anti a Chan brigade, at least for fantasy.

00:48:18
Speaker 5: I was.

00:48:19
Speaker 3: I was that guy last year. I'm coming around though. I think he got it done in the end.

00:48:23
Speaker 7: But yeah, my only worry is if things go bad and they fire Mike McDaniel in the midpoint of the year, Like, how much does that change things? Because that feels like it's very much on the table.

00:48:36
Speaker 1: He seems to me like the flip side of what we were talking about with aj Brown, Whereas like, I can't put him in this tier of players that are getting draft around him as an actual player, like and so I just feel better about the types of quarterbacks, even that it would be taken here the wide receivers. I just there's something about him. I don't totally. He seems more of a fantasy football creation and then reality.

00:49:01
Speaker 3: I mean, he's a.

00:49:01
Speaker 1: Very good player, but more like a fourth fifth round running back to me that's getting pushed up a little bit because of the situation, and it.

00:49:09
Speaker 8: Feels like a fantasy creation until he speed shifts to the slot. Right, it runs like a totally fair, like a twenty yard dig that we don't see running backs run.

00:49:20
Speaker 3: Goes up. What's that?

00:49:21
Speaker 5: I think part of it is like you look at gents, you look at Henry, You're like, yeah, these guys three hundred touches easily. Then you see Devon a Chan and it's like that you play the same position like.

00:49:29
Speaker 1: In the Yeah, the team is weird, but for context, he's going as high as like RB seven average draft position, early second round. So Florio actually in that context got a value here, and it's it's hardly a crazy pick. I think I'm on an island just a little wary of him. Marcus, you're up, since we.

00:49:48
Speaker 5: Are, we're not following rules now or anything like that.

00:49:51
Speaker 3: Take who you like.

00:49:52
Speaker 5: I'm taking Lamar Jackson here. Oh I don't think. Yeah, I knew. I knew that was good. I knew that players be so good.

00:50:00
Speaker 7: That was I sing Patrick soul is what that was going to do. But I mean, I'm looking at the guy and like, look, I'm in a real fantasy draft. I'm probably not taking Lamar at this spot.

00:50:09
Speaker 5: But if we're just.

00:50:09
Speaker 7: Talking about like who's really good and who's going to score you a lot of fantasy points? You know, Lamar, I don't really know what it says that Lamar Jackson is good at football.

00:50:19
Speaker 1: He's all right well in the gap, Like he really has been an incredible fantasy advantage.

00:50:26
Speaker 3: It's not the old you know.

00:50:27
Speaker 1: I yes, you can get good quarterbacks throughout the draft, but if you've owned Hurtz and Lamar last year and Josh Allen, like those guys have been league winners, and tell me if you guys disagree, you guys are more in on the fantasy. But they've occupied an interesting space, Whereas I think if you just like took you didn't even have to take them early, you just took them where they're like ADP was the last couple of years, and they were kind of like league winners for that. So overall they've been a little undervalued, I would say, because there really has been a gap between those top guys and the rest of the quarterback.

00:50:59
Speaker 6: No, I agree, and then they're difference makers when you got a guy that you could start and forgetting they're putting up twenty five thirty points every single week. I mean, hey, I'll spend that third round on a Jaden Daniels or like mar Jackson. So I'm I do think that we don't want to get into that realm where we want to inflate these guys like the Jayden Dans sort of world into that you know, second round, first round tier. So I do feel like the value where they're at now it's a little undervalued, But I feel a lot better in the third and fourth round getting those guys.

00:51:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, I like you, there's a pretty big difference between that. Like it sounds good that I'm just gonna wait and I'll I'll take Tua and whatever and some you know, suddenly it's like week thirteen and you're like streaming back.

00:51:38
Speaker 6: Never say you're going again saying I'll take twa. That's yeah, You're you're going south, all right, You're you're applicua. So I'm gonna go with Josh Jacobs. Now he's not the sexy pig, the most like oh magical, great freak tier type of athlete. But no, he's a workhorse. Like he was one of the five running backs last season that had forty of thirteen touches. There's nobody back there that I believe is going to take away those opportunities in the red zone the Packers where he top five rushing attack that goes under the radar. And I think Josh Jacobs he's proven to us that he can put up those big numbers that we like with Derek Henry and Saquon Barkley on Sundays. So I think, you know, when Emmanuel Wilson, he's an electric change of pace back. But Marshawn Lloyd he can't stay healthy. I mean, like his per injury per touch has to be insane greatly at this point, the injury per touch, like seriously like, I'm like, man, we're ruined for the guy mar because I know that's your guy, Man, But I look.

00:52:31
Speaker 5: I mean, he went to SC for a year.

00:52:34
Speaker 7: I want, I want the best, roun want to have success, but you can't get around the fact that he can't stay on the field.

00:52:40
Speaker 5: It's a league in injuries per touch. I mean, did we just make a set?

00:52:45
Speaker 1: I think that the twenty first pick to it just where we're at, I do it. We should be resetty every once in a while. It's totally fair value for Josh Jacobs. But you're right, I wouldn't be excited about it. I probably wouldn't do it because I guess I still like the level of receivers here. More are now than the running backs personally now that Chase Brown, Chase Brown would kind of be the last of my My like feels like they could be a first round value type of running back. And that's why I'm taking Lad McConkie because I still think Lad could be a first round type of value. I'm taking ceiling guys and he's maybe the last of these guys that would it be that crazy if he was wide receiver three at the end.

00:53:24
Speaker 3: Of the year.

00:53:24
Speaker 5: I don't on the podcast.

00:53:28
Speaker 1: Okay, then like this on different sides. This is the table Marcus side. I'm glad to be on the Lad side.

00:53:40
Speaker 7: I'm off the ship because I seem like you're on an island over there.

00:53:43
Speaker 6: You're going to run the ball a ton and this is the identity of the Chargers that they've shown us last season. They want to pound the rock. I think that the passive blud comes down when you add in Nikidan Allen, who's very familiar with Justin Herbert. Like, do we think Keenan Allen's just going to come in and be some slouch, No, yes, I do. Allen's coming in. He's gonna be a clear plug and play and a familiarity that Herbert will have, Like, I think the target share needs to be coming down in projections when it comes to Ladd, an already low pass volume offense, like they're going to win to run the rock and control the ball that second half, they're going to run the out of that ball man and if it's going to be Hampton, but they'll Nagy whenever he's back up. There's gonna be times where Ladd is gonna be like, oh well, Lad's out there, is he getting the targets?

00:54:26
Speaker 1: I hear that, and and they're in a better position to do it now with Hampton, and I'm sure we'll get to him. And if we don't, we should. I mean, he's like such an exciting, like fantasy option.

00:54:37
Speaker 3: But I was out, you.

00:54:38
Speaker 1: Know, I was watching that preseason game and I was thinking, Man, it's a I think he's still gonna have that share because it's a pretty steep drop to Quinton Johnston. And I like these two rookies they have Caandre Lambert, Smith's look pretty good, Trey Harris's playing. It's like, I don't know if they have those are they got lad who if he's paying a little bit of a I got taken in the second round tax if if he was that twelfth pick in the draft, I think we'd look at him a little more like just like Drake London, because that's what he He doesn't play like Drake London, but his production and his versatility and everything was first round level. And then I think you look at the rest of the team and to me, it's a bunch of threes and fours and he's like a one. So actually, I do disagree with you there I think it's a big drop off.

00:55:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, they're going on this island.

00:55:20
Speaker 8: Yeah, the Greg Roman offense isn't ever going to support a whole bunch of wide receivers.

00:55:26
Speaker 5: But there's the one. Yeah, and Ladd's the one.

00:55:29
Speaker 1: It's clear as I didn't look like I see like Keenan Allen's in the slot and lads outside and then they're switching him around. But I guess Keenan Allen has something to show me because he wasn't. He wasn't the same guy a year ago. But come in, get like five six hundred yards was draft?

00:55:43
Speaker 3: All right? Patrick, you're up.

00:55:44
Speaker 8: Yeah, last year I destroyed my team by taking a bunch of aging wide receivers.

00:55:49
Speaker 5: I'm not going to do that now.

00:55:50
Speaker 8: You guys have allowed Drake London to get to me in this spot as a noted supporter of.

00:55:55
Speaker 5: Oh no, he's gone. Who took Oh yeah, look took Drake a bunch of Drake London.

00:55:59
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, absolute.

00:56:00
Speaker 6: Don't think you know that nice little preamble too. Yeah, right now, you're going to take.

00:56:07
Speaker 8: Everything I said in the preamble and apply it to what I am doing here.

00:56:12
Speaker 6: Happens in drafts over the weekend where the guy's in the back getting another drink and he misses. He goes, oh, I want that guy. Like, No, this is normal activity that happens in these fantasy drafts.

00:56:20
Speaker 5: I am.

00:56:21
Speaker 8: I am a believer, and I will stick on this and have it and we can run the audio when we do our fantasy draft.

00:56:26
Speaker 5: God willing. Next year, Tyreek Hill, I will take Tyree.

00:56:30
Speaker 8: I love that at this point, all right, still an exceedingly exploded receiver. I know that the idea that he's he's trying harder this year. I think he's gonna be healthier. Uh this year. I think there was a reason for the a little bit of decline h last year.

00:56:44
Speaker 5: I'm in.

00:56:45
Speaker 1: I'm with you, and I don't would normally want to take those agent guys.

00:56:48
Speaker 3: I don't know what.

00:56:50
Speaker 1: I don't know if the trying harder thing is a narrative. When he says he's dried, yeah, no, he says it because it's a narrative. He would like to put that out there that no, like I wasn't hurt. I'm indestructible and it was purely my effort. And now like Krillin has died and I can go super saying is what makes things go crily got done, not usually into the contract year thing of it all. But I think I'm going to make an exception for the Tyreek Hill. I think Tyreek Hill knowing there's one big contract left in his career is not a is not a bad thing. And and you you're going back to the well. By the way, I like doing this. If you have kind of a you took Tyreek last year, our producers let us know. And I actually think it is good to if you have one that did not live up to the value, take him again the next year, like average cost value or whatever.

00:57:37
Speaker 7: Like a guy who fumbles, right, you get him back in and given the ball again, just to let him know you still happen again.

00:57:41
Speaker 3: He's a Hall of Famer games. All right, Flora, here you're up.

00:57:45
Speaker 5: I'll go with the my so brock Bowers win, But my my tight end one in my rankings is Train McBride. So I will take Trey McBride, who actually averaged more points per game than brock Bowers last year. He just missed a game due to I believe it was concussions.

00:58:01
Speaker 3: And uh.

00:58:02
Speaker 5: He was the most targeted target share wise tight end in the red zone and he had two touchdowns, Like, eventually that's got to become more like six to eight, right, Like, so I think if he has positive touchdown regression, he can he could one be the tight end one and two he could return wide receiver one value at a weaker position.

00:58:24
Speaker 1: He was your tight end last year, by the way, Yeah, good job by you there.

00:58:27
Speaker 3: Yeah, funny quarterback didn't work out, but that was literally the best tight end value you could find.

00:58:32
Speaker 5: That worked out for sure.

00:58:33
Speaker 6: My only pushback is I think the touchdowns still remained low because Drew Petson is the offensive coordinator going with the third year, and it's like there's nothing that they did this offseason that showed they changed, and just it just naturally can't stay. The only thing that changed was Marvin Harris's bicep ratio.

00:58:49
Speaker 7: Touchdowns. It just didn't work. They were throwing it to him in the red zone. It just I don't know, he just didn't end in the paint.

00:58:53
Speaker 6: Thankfully, the Rams, you know, linebackers weren't able to cover him and he was able to shout out to them.

00:58:59
Speaker 1: Huh I I by the way, well, just while we're on the Cardinals, because I don't think Harrison.

00:59:04
Speaker 3: Maybe Harrison goes here, But what do you guys think about Harrison?

00:59:08
Speaker 1: Because by the way, I like I see James Connor getting taken in the fifth that's kind of like, I'm not excited to take James Scott to be he is the perfect I'm not excited to take guy I like James Conner.

00:59:19
Speaker 3: What do you guys think about Harrison of this?

00:59:21
Speaker 7: I think Harrison is a victim of our own hype, right, Like he was the guy who was super hyped. He was he can't miss, you know, he's gonna crush in Arizona, and it was underwhelming, right, I mean he had eight touchdowns, which I keep looking at him like when did I feel like they're had some sounds like yeah, like when did he have eight touchdowns? But I just think because we were so hyped on Marvin Harrison and he didn't live up to that. Now he's being punished in fantasy drafts because of that. And again I don't do it him had everything to do with us and our hype train that we that we left.

00:59:54
Speaker 5: Some I do think he could be a lot better with a better quarterback as well. I just don't think Kyler is is the quarterback to lift your prototypical X receiver. Outside of DeAndre Hopkins in twenty twenty, he never really had like huge production out of a wide receiver.

01:00:09
Speaker 1: One and he's going to like early third round wide receiver sixteen seventeen. That feels about right. I don't have a hot just not the one I'm usually not. I don't have a hot take like bus or minus. That feels about right. I like that the value is a little lower. All right, Marcus, you still have not gone this.

01:00:24
Speaker 3: I have not.

01:00:27
Speaker 5: Marvin Harrison Junior, not going Marvin Harrison.

01:00:29
Speaker 7: I thought about maybe taking a certain guy to try to tweak Lakwan, but I'm gonna go Jonathan Taylor instead.

01:00:35
Speaker 3: Who is that guy you're trying to tweak?

01:00:36
Speaker 5: You know who I'm about. You know who I say, But Jonathan Taylor.

01:00:40
Speaker 7: Because I think we all have these concerns about the Colts offense. I think Jonathan Taylor is sort of immune to that, you know, because we know he's gonna get the carries. We know he's a guy that doesn't have a ton of competition in that backfield for touches and is gonna you know, win healthy continue to be really really productive, and.

01:00:57
Speaker 5: So I feel like he is.

01:00:59
Speaker 7: I'm he's kind of been collateral damage in all of the concerns that we have about this Anthony Richardson Daniel Jones battle and what it means for the offense, and so like, he's still a really talented player who's going to get a lot of volumes.

01:01:14
Speaker 3: So I think I'm fine with him here.

01:01:15
Speaker 1: He's old school, you're not going to get a lot of receptions, but he's going in the late second round. So for that value, you did well. And yet I'm not super excited. I feel a little a little safer with some of the wide receivers that are still on the board, even the quarter That's.

01:01:31
Speaker 7: The general feeling when we talk about the coltson Fantasy, Like, I'm not excited Josh.

01:01:36
Speaker 5: Jacobsy right, Like he's good where he's going, but he's not sexy. You don't get fired up.

01:01:41
Speaker 1: We have we have one round left here, and so you guys, just take someone that you believe needs to be represented in this draft. That's someone that you truly believe in, you know, even if they wouldn't be like the safest pick here. Take take who you want.

01:01:55
Speaker 5: Now.

01:01:56
Speaker 6: Margan is on the last point, I said, scared money don't make money. And even think of another saying for that, because Shiit Conman say that.

01:02:02
Speaker 7: I just said, the person who says scared money don't make money is running a three card Monti out in front of Vegas.

01:02:08
Speaker 6: That's not this okay, Kenneth Walkers. This is a dark horse RB one, Like I'm talking RB one overall.

01:02:16
Speaker 3: Like this guy was on pace last season.

01:02:19
Speaker 6: He sharba, we want Charmonady, but when KENNEF walker is healthy on the field, Charmonad's on the sidelines watching the magic now. Honestly, the Seahawks these last two weeks, in these preseason games have shown us they want to run the ball at the highest rate. Fifty nine percent of their plays were the leading of all teams in the preseason so far. Do they want to run the rock? Kenneth Walker is electric in between the tackles outside, it doesn't matter. Get him in open space and I think click Kubiak getting that career high on the ground from Alviam Kamara last season, I think that translates over to Kenneth Walker.

01:02:52
Speaker 1: Makes a lot of sense. And he doesn't fit the mold of like a Clint Kubiak kind of one cut and go. I still think of you know, Drell Davison and Clint Kobek's dad's offense with the Broncos, like that's.

01:03:06
Speaker 3: That's what that running bout and Ken Walker's kind of the opposite.

01:03:08
Speaker 1: But if they keep blowing open holes like they have been in the preseason, I mean he's going to take a run sixty yards that Sharbona might only take twenty five.

01:03:17
Speaker 6: I had a little stat here one point seven rushing yards before contact per rush right now, it's ring third between the teams in the preseason.

01:03:24
Speaker 5: Right now.

01:03:24
Speaker 6: That means these guys are moving bodies and guys are getting clear lanes and being untouched. If that translates to anything into the regular season, Oh boyd, wasn't who I thought you were going to talk or we're going to go. Do you think he was going to take a mari and Hampton because.

01:03:37
Speaker 5: That I think I thought he was going to take a different rookie.

01:03:39
Speaker 1: Okay, to me, Hampton, Hampton's got that. I want to inflate his ADP right now?

01:03:45
Speaker 3: What are we doing?

01:03:46
Speaker 2: R J.

01:03:46
Speaker 5: Harvey is the name of R. Jarby. He's a big r J.

01:03:49
Speaker 3: Harvey, that's too much.

01:03:50
Speaker 5: That's that's good.

01:03:52
Speaker 3: Let's I feel like Hampton.

01:03:55
Speaker 1: His floor is pretty high and the ceilings sky high. I love my team. I love stacking Ladd and Hampton together. I know they say they're gonna share the carries and all this stuff, and it probably will. But if we get to week eleven twelve, like and Hampton is obviously the most talented guy in that backfield, and it just wouldn't surprise me if he's more true workload Bijon Robinson type of guy. As we get later in the season, he's not. He's not as talented. I don't think he's gonna make people miss like that.

01:04:30
Speaker 3: But he's a load.

01:04:31
Speaker 1: He's great on passing downs. He should be great on the goal line.

01:04:35
Speaker 3: I love him. That's like my pro company. He's brock Lessner.

01:04:37
Speaker 6: He's a freaking team brock Lesner doing a shooting star press off the top road. That's Amari and Hampton Like he's able to jump over folks run through them.

01:04:45
Speaker 3: Like. That's really how I look at Hampton.

01:04:47
Speaker 5: I love that.

01:04:48
Speaker 8: Uh My pick is running through a contract discussion right now, and I think that's fraudulent. I think the commander has got a little cute with managing. Hey, Manute, I should have paid him before. But I think they thought they had a rookie quarterback and they weren't gonna have to deal with that. None of that matters for the circumstances of fantasy. I think I love getting Terry in the spot and he's gonna be He's gonna be the wide receiver one, he's gonna score touchdowns. He's got twelve last year for a rookie. I'm not I'm not charging regression on that.

01:05:19
Speaker 7: So here's here's my theory, and it's not a fantasy theory, and I'm gonna get your opinion on this because I feel like if you were a team that has a decent track record of success and developing players right that maybe you can play a little bit more hard ball. I feel like when you're the Commanders and you got your first little taste of success, like it feels a little more disrespectful to be like, no, we gotta we have to roster Bill, we have to budget watch. It feels like you finally got something and you've brought hope back to your fan base, Like you got to keep that going right now.

01:05:48
Speaker 1: Also, the drop off. I mean they need him. Deemo is a nice role player to add. I don't think that's being disrespectful. He's not a traditional wide receiver. The next best traditional wide receiver on this team is Michael Gallup.

01:06:04
Speaker 5: It no.

01:06:07
Speaker 3: Not to be disrespectful.

01:06:10
Speaker 5: That's the point though, Like.

01:06:15
Speaker 3: Big Jersey, I got to represent my guy, Michael. I feel.

01:06:25
Speaker 5: Like we're picking anybody. I know who. I know who you're picking, cam Marcus announce it.

01:06:32
Speaker 7: Yeah, Travon Henderson, let's know, Yeah, yeah, that's my guy this year.

01:06:36
Speaker 5: I have him as U RB thirteen. I want to move him up even more. I've had him ahead of Hampton since before the NFL Draft, but most everyone else has Hampton, and I understand why. But I think Henderson was built in a lab to thrive in fantasy because he's shifty and he's explosive, so he's gonna get a lot of big yard running plays. As we saw, He's an elite pass block and he's a really good receiver, so he's going to be out there to get those PPR points on a team that's going to run the ball a lot. The only concern I have his goal line. But I think he's better than Stevenson. And like if Mike Rabral agrees and Josh McDaniel agrees, I think Henderson's gonna be an RB one this year.

01:07:17
Speaker 3: I mean, he's checking all the boxes, he passes.

01:07:19
Speaker 5: I hate how good of a preseason he's having because it's him, him, more around higher.

01:07:25
Speaker 1: And Stevenson is hurt. Look, I don't think they could trade Stevenson. I just don't be there's no market. But it's not even it's not crazy to imagine a world where Rimandre is not on this Patriots team. If I had to guess, I think he's on it, but I I think that's like seventy five twenty five.

01:07:44
Speaker 3: It wouldn't shock me if Stevenson does not come in plays like a late round stash guy.

01:07:49
Speaker 5: If that's the.

01:07:49
Speaker 3: Case, that was the Knderson's of the moon Baby. Yeah.

01:07:52
Speaker 8: I love that we talked about people getting burned. I don't think anybody who's been burned more than people getting burned by Gibson.

01:07:58
Speaker 3: Oh yeah this, Oh yeah, that's that's a wrap. He's a big dude.

01:08:03
Speaker 1: And it's funny because Rimandre did look pretty good last time he was with Josh McDaniels. So I think if he's on this team, he's.

01:08:09
Speaker 3: Gonna have a role.

01:08:09
Speaker 1: But doesn't It doesn't really diminish my excitement about trev and I think they can both eat. Yeah, and I think he'd be the more valuable guy. I'm with you, Marcus, finish us up, all right.

01:08:19
Speaker 7: So this is probably more of a flag plant than it is any like kind of search for value or anything like that. But oh, can I guess please? Is it a wide receiver? It is Jamison wis there?

01:08:30
Speaker 5: It is?

01:08:30
Speaker 3: Wow?

01:08:31
Speaker 5: There it is. We talked about talking about these things a lot.

01:08:35
Speaker 7: Yeah.

01:08:37
Speaker 3: Yeah.

01:08:38
Speaker 7: Last year he got over a thousand yards for the first time. He really looked like, you know, he looked like the guy they thought they were drafting, right, because remember he pretty much missed almost the entirety of his first season. He was dealing with that knee injury. Then he had the suspension, so he missed time. At the beginning of his second season. Last year, everything was sort of normal, uh, and he he had his first big year. My siracha level, take my go chi Chang level, take trying to you know, everybody's had siracha. Let's GoChi chang, Let's go Oh, it's so much better. It's so much better. Is that he leads the Lions in receiving yards this year. Maybe not catches, Yeah, that'll still be a mon Ra, but because of their ability to do different things, to have him be the field stretcher, to have him be the guy that just gets out in space and has yards after the catch, I think he has a big yardage year this year. But I'm just I'm just really excited about grab. Like I also wouldn't have done this on a real team because I don't think i'd want both Amon Ra and Jamison Williams on the same fantasy roster. But this was just my way to sort of, you know, stake the claim that I'm really excited about him this year.

01:09:42
Speaker 3: I agree with all that. I love that. I do love Isaac Desla though too.

01:09:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, you well, I do wonder if he's gonna get used in contract negotiations if nothing else, this does not affect fantasy. But they can only pay so many people, and he's gonna get a big time contract. But if a seats to slow kind of running down the field doing some of the same things as Jamison, maybe they just don't go big.

01:10:05
Speaker 3: But that that's a real world where its.

01:10:07
Speaker 5: Side note was it the Hall of Fame game?

01:10:09
Speaker 7: We needed the little story about to slaw showing up at the Lions facility, like wearing the jersey with like is that like wearing the band's T shirt to it an.

01:10:19
Speaker 6: If if you put your name on the back of it. But he had it since he was like in middle school.

01:10:23
Speaker 3: Though.

01:10:23
Speaker 5: The Iron Man two came out and I went to see it and we were coming home. We went midnight release. It's like two am, NYPD pulls us over there, like, where are you guys coming from? We were like, we went to see Iron Man. My friend in the front seat had an Iron Man's shirt. The cop went, you wore that to see that movie? Have a good night, and so kinda. Yeah, I would put that in the same context.

01:10:43
Speaker 1: It's I think it's I mean, the fact that he did that before he got the job with them, I appreciate it.

01:10:49
Speaker 8: Yeah, it would be like meeting Axel Rose wearing guns Ros T shirt with your face on it.

01:10:58
Speaker 5: You start singing, you.

01:10:59
Speaker 1: Do it is a little worrisome, like because at that level, like you're never actually going to be friends. He'll never fully respect you as someone on his level and so now maybe the Lions have lost like a little bit of respect for it's like too much of a fan.

01:11:13
Speaker 2: You know.

01:11:14
Speaker 7: Slash sponsored one of the horses on the carousel at the La Zoo.

01:11:17
Speaker 5: I did not know. I learned this yesterday.
