<v Speaker 1>Big Foot sightings started in nineteen seventy five. That point there,
<v Speaker 1>I was stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana. I was in
<v Speaker 1>the military and being stationed over there in the military
<v Speaker 1>at Fort Polk. Anyone who has met background in the military,
<v Speaker 1>on weekends you're off. So on Friday evenings you're ready
<v Speaker 1>to go ahead and fly get out of post, because
<v Speaker 1>if you're caught on post during the weekend Saturday or Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>you get special duty. So you want to go ahead
<v Speaker 1>and make sure you're gone off post, and I will
<v Speaker 1>I tail it from Fort Polk over to my girlfriend's
<v Speaker 1>farm outside of Camden, Arkansas, which is about a four
<v Speaker 1>and a half hour drive from post. And they had
<v Speaker 1>a two hundred and fifty acre farm that was located
<v Speaker 1>about ten fifteen miles outside of Campden, way out there
<v Speaker 1>in the woods, very remote. The closest house to them
<v Speaker 1>was about a mile away, and i'd go over there
<v Speaker 1>on weekends and of course be with my girlfriend, but
<v Speaker 1>also me and her daddy was pretty close, so we'd
<v Speaker 1>go ahead and I'd help him work the cattle, attend
<v Speaker 1>to the hogs, men fences and such, and really enjoyed
<v Speaker 1>that kind of thing. In any case, this one particular
<v Speaker 1>Friday night was out there, her granny had cooked for us,
<v Speaker 1>and boys, she can cook, my goodness, she can cook.
<v Speaker 1>And she made fried chicken and such, and I mean
<v Speaker 1>that just hurt myself. She can cook well. At nine
<v Speaker 1>o'clock that evening, we were all hunkered down the den
<v Speaker 1>and she was in the kitchen washing dishes. This is
<v Speaker 1>an old farmhouse. Give me the kind of layout it was.
<v Speaker 1>The visual, it's a long farmhouse from the den. It
<v Speaker 1>was a long wooden hallway down to the kitchen. From
<v Speaker 1>the kitchen out the back door of the kitchen right
<v Speaker 1>there went towards the pasture and the rest of the
<v Speaker 1>farm out there, the animals as such. Well, about nine
<v Speaker 1>o'clock that night, Granny screamed in the kitchen, I mean
<v Speaker 1>bloody murdyer scream. Well, of course we all jumped up,
<v Speaker 1>startled us. We jumped up right on the hallway to
<v Speaker 1>go ahead and ten and see about her. I was
<v Speaker 1>the first one there, being nineteen year old soldier, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I was in shape and made to jump. So I
<v Speaker 1>was the first one in the kitchen. And when I
<v Speaker 1>come to the kitchen door, she was sitting right there
<v Speaker 1>on her hind nd on the floor, pointing at the
<v Speaker 1>window over the sink and just yelling I've seen it again.
<v Speaker 1>I've seen it again. And I mean I almost cut
<v Speaker 1>a flip over her. She was right there when I
<v Speaker 1>come around into that doorway. Well, we've seen how startled
<v Speaker 1>she was. And in my military mind, I thought, you know,
<v Speaker 1>naturally she's seen an intruder, someone looking in the window
<v Speaker 1>at her. So my girlfriend's daddy had yelled, I want
<v Speaker 1>to arm up, get a gun well on the racks,
<v Speaker 1>gun racks in the hallway was all kinds of rifles
<v Speaker 1>and shotguns and suck. So we all armed up and
<v Speaker 1>ran out the back door. Me, her daddy, her two brothers.
<v Speaker 1>Granny was stayed inside there, and of course my girlfriend
<v Speaker 1>and her mama stayed inside to attend to granny because
<v Speaker 1>she was pretty shuck up. Went out the back door,
<v Speaker 1>and I remember this like it was yesterday, even though
<v Speaker 1>it was over forty six years ago. One thing I
<v Speaker 1>learned in my career in law enforcement, anytime you had
<v Speaker 1>any person a person has a traumatic experience, those details
<v Speaker 1>stay with you the rest of your life, fifty sixty,
<v Speaker 1>seventy five years, whatever. You never forget those details. And
<v Speaker 1>that's how the mind works on a traumatic experience. This
<v Speaker 1>was a traumatic experience to me because it changed my
<v Speaker 1>whole belief patterns on what exists in this world. This
<v Speaker 1>night was the pivot point for that for me. As
<v Speaker 1>we went out the back door, her brothers went to right,
<v Speaker 1>me and her daddy went to the left. Figure we
<v Speaker 1>split up, covering more ground that way because the big farm.
<v Speaker 1>As we went towards I remember going towards the corner
<v Speaker 1>post of the pasture, and I remember seeing the cattle.
<v Speaker 1>It's a very bright, bright moon night. And if you
<v Speaker 1>know how bright a big, full bright moon is, it's
<v Speaker 1>almost like daylight. You can see one hundred yards away clearly,
<v Speaker 1>like it's the signs out almost And I can see
<v Speaker 1>all this cattle at the far end of the pasture,
<v Speaker 1>and they were honkered up and they were cutting up,
<v Speaker 1>and that was a sign there was a predator out there,
<v Speaker 1>Bob Kat, what have you? We didn't know. What caught
<v Speaker 1>my attention and really got me to think. It was
<v Speaker 1>his three bluetick hounds as hunting dogs. They were trained,
<v Speaker 1>and they were underneath the porch whining. When you've got
<v Speaker 1>three full of their own blue tick hunting dogs whining
<v Speaker 1>under the porch, it sent a shock wave through your mind,
<v Speaker 1>like what in the world are you going after? Well,
<v Speaker 1>it's pretty obvious to me it was no simple an intruder,
<v Speaker 1>Like I was thinking, if it would have been an
<v Speaker 1>intruder and he fell her at all them dogs been
<v Speaker 1>that behind him cutting up, you'd have heard them cutting
<v Speaker 1>up a mile away. But something scared the fire out
<v Speaker 1>of them dogs. So I asked her Daddy, I said,
<v Speaker 1>what about the dogs? What's going on with that? And
<v Speaker 1>he said, don't worry about that. To stay close behind me. Well,
<v Speaker 1>we're going towards the corner post. Now, this corner post
<v Speaker 1>of a fence that we had recently built, him and
<v Speaker 1>me a couple months prior. And this fence was a
<v Speaker 1>dividing fence that would divide the pasture from a thick
<v Speaker 1>fifty acre swamp that he didn't want his cattle going into.
<v Speaker 1>And it was made a five four foot cattle panel
<v Speaker 1>with a stitch of bob wire about five foot high.
<v Speaker 1>And went to the dogs of that corner post, and
<v Speaker 1>I remember we got about ten foot from it and
<v Speaker 1>caught it a terrible stench. I mean it was terrible.
<v Speaker 1>It was like something dead I mated with matted urine.
<v Speaker 1>It was, it was. It was really hard and I
<v Speaker 1>made you want to gag. As we got close to
<v Speaker 1>that corner post, I remember all of a sudden, something
<v Speaker 1>in that thicket started turning and burning. And when I
<v Speaker 1>say that, I mean ripping limbs, cutting up and dry
<v Speaker 1>leaves like a two thousand pounds rhino cutting loose, just
<v Speaker 1>turning and we couldn't see it through the thicket. But
<v Speaker 1>then all of a sudden at this point, it jumped
<v Speaker 1>over that fence. That fence I said, we just built
<v Speaker 1>that dividing fences five foot high. It's a proxi be
<v Speaker 1>twenty five foot from us. We measured it the next
<v Speaker 1>day when we had and went back to the point
<v Speaker 1>of origin, but it was about twenty five foot from us.
<v Speaker 1>When it landed inside the pasture. It was squatted down
<v Speaker 1>and it stood up. This is at the point where
<v Speaker 1>everything I was taught to believe exists in this world
<v Speaker 1>shattered like a mirror and a rock hitting I mean,
<v Speaker 1>just I wasn't all what in the world am I
<v Speaker 1>looking at? This thing stood up and we can see
<v Speaker 1>it clearly in bright moonlight. It was flank of us.
<v Speaker 1>Now it wasn't facing towards us. It landed inside the
<v Speaker 1>pasture flank of us. So we're looking at the side
<v Speaker 1>view of it, the right side of it, because it
<v Speaker 1>was facing towards the cattle gate across the pasture. This
<v Speaker 1>all happened in a matter of twenty seconds. I'm slowing
<v Speaker 1>it down to kind of give you kind of like
<v Speaker 1>the bird's eye view of the whole thing. What we're
<v Speaker 1>looking at. As it stood up, it looked like I
<v Speaker 1>took forever to stand up. It had to have been
<v Speaker 1>at least eight foot tall. Now I'm six foot and
<v Speaker 1>her daddy was six foot one, and it made us
<v Speaker 1>look like munchkins. This thing stood up about eight foot tall,
<v Speaker 1>at least, very muscular, very broad shouldered, very thick, long arms.
<v Speaker 1>Remember its hands had huge hands, and they were passed
<v Speaker 1>its knees, below its knees. As it stood straight up again,
<v Speaker 1>it was flank of us. We noticed it's profile was
<v Speaker 1>a huge man's face, not a bear. The first thing
<v Speaker 1>I'm thinking in my mind is the bear. A bear
<v Speaker 1>has a snout. This had a man's profile. A bear
<v Speaker 1>has a thick, thick, thick, almost no neck, and very
<v Speaker 1>sloped shoulders. This thing had. It was very muscular neck,
<v Speaker 1>very wide, broad shoulders. So right there, those specifics right
<v Speaker 1>there showed me and in my mind, as much as
<v Speaker 1>my mind was turning and burning, this is no bear,
<v Speaker 1>even though I was trying to convince myself it was.
<v Speaker 1>Then all of a sudden, it just took off and ran.
<v Speaker 1>It ran across the pasture again. Like I said, it
<v Speaker 1>ran across the pasture away from us, didn't try to
<v Speaker 1>address us, didn't try to attack us, it ran from us.
<v Speaker 1>Now I had a twelve gach pump. Her daddy had
<v Speaker 1>a four to ten. Neither one of us took a
<v Speaker 1>shot because we knew if we shot something that big
<v Speaker 1>with those guns and be like a pea shooter, it
<v Speaker 1>would have probably attacked a stamp. We watched it run
<v Speaker 1>across the pasture like a track star. What I mean
<v Speaker 1>by that it ran like a man does if he's
<v Speaker 1>running a marathon, arms swinging. I mean the foot stride
<v Speaker 1>we measured the next morning was about was it right
<v Speaker 1>about five foot heeled a toe, so it was huge.
<v Speaker 1>It ran very quickly when the head when it crashed
<v Speaker 1>through the candlegate. Now this candlegate it crashed through it
<v Speaker 1>was no not mad a bossle would. This was a
<v Speaker 1>cattlegate made out of oak two by sixes. And if
<v Speaker 1>you have any understanding how thick and heavy oak boards
<v Speaker 1>are two by six oak? Uh, it take a tractor
<v Speaker 1>at full throttle with a front end loader to go
<v Speaker 1>ahead and crash through it and shatter it. A man
<v Speaker 1>couldn't do it, A bear couldn't do it. This thing
<v Speaker 1>it went through it and shattered those boards, ripped the
<v Speaker 1>bob wire. That's hard to do it went. It went
<v Speaker 1>through with so much force about twenty foot so the
<v Speaker 1>left of that cattle gate was a squeeze shoot. Now
<v Speaker 1>squeeze shoot is where we run the cattle through. Go
<v Speaker 1>ahead and squeeze them inside there to go ahead and
<v Speaker 1>hold them place where you can go ahead and brand them,
<v Speaker 1>or you can go ahead and lip the horns. Whatever
<v Speaker 1>you're going to do, it work your cattle that way.
<v Speaker 1>Those iron bars were warped and bent from the power
<v Speaker 1>and the force of this creature running to that cattle gate,
<v Speaker 1>and also the force of it to the other side
<v Speaker 1>of that cattle gate was the corner post. Corner post
<v Speaker 1>was made of a cut down telephone pole, and if
<v Speaker 1>you know how big and thick those are, and it
<v Speaker 1>was sunk five foot deep in the ground. It literally
<v Speaker 1>pulled it over and laid it down when he went
<v Speaker 1>to that gate. Now didn't break it. Next morning we
<v Speaker 1>dug into it, we found it. It was still not broken.
<v Speaker 1>It was just laid over from the force of that
<v Speaker 1>thing going through a tremendous amount of force. Would call
<v Speaker 1>well after it ran through that gate like it did,
<v Speaker 1>it went out a roar that I've never heard before
<v Speaker 1>my life, and I live out in the woods, deep Woods, Louisiana.
<v Speaker 1>I've lived here ever since the come out of the
<v Speaker 1>military nineteen eighty one, and it's literally six and a
<v Speaker 1>half miles through the thick woods to the next house.
<v Speaker 1>And I've hunted these woods, I've hunted these swamps all
<v Speaker 1>through here. I've heard every kind of creature you can
<v Speaker 1>imagine aland I've heard food owls, and I've heard oh kyles,
<v Speaker 1>and I've heard bobcats, panthers. I mean, you pretty much
<v Speaker 1>name it. I've heard it. I lived with them all
<v Speaker 1>my life. I've never heard a roar like this in
<v Speaker 1>my life. It literally rattled my chest and it sounded
<v Speaker 1>like a lion and roar. How a deep basic Ryan
<v Speaker 1>lion roar is powerful ended like an elephant, if that
<v Speaker 1>makes sense. So it just may your skin crawl made
<v Speaker 1>the hair back of my next stand up. I've never
<v Speaker 1>heard that before in my life. Well after it ran
<v Speaker 1>through that gate, when it went on and went through
<v Speaker 1>a big pat patch of a of sawtooth briars, naturally say,
<v Speaker 1>we wasn't going through that. Uh. We had a little
<v Speaker 1>more sense than that.
<v Speaker 4>Uh.
<v Speaker 1>And uh, I know being in the military, uh, going
<v Speaker 1>out missions and this kind of thing. We would go
<v Speaker 1>through everything, had no choice, we'd have to. And but
<v Speaker 1>we called them wait a minute, viance, because when those
<v Speaker 1>when those saw a tooth briers would go grab a
<v Speaker 1>hold of you. They'd say, wait a minute, you ain't
<v Speaker 1>going nowhere. But any case, So after this event happened, uh,
<v Speaker 1>grenline was running. It was running. Uh here come her
<v Speaker 1>two brothers around the other side of the house. And
<v Speaker 1>did you hear that roar? Did you hear that? I said,
<v Speaker 1>hear it? We don't seen it? You saw it? I said, yeah, Well,
<v Speaker 1>her daddy was he was made to fall out. I
<v Speaker 1>mean it just so. So I sat him down and
<v Speaker 1>tended to him, and the brothers y'all seen it, I said, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we saw it. We saw it up close. It wasn't
<v Speaker 1>twenty five foot from us. And anyway, so we went
<v Speaker 1>and calm things down a little bit, got him calm down,
<v Speaker 1>and he almost started crying. And he told me, he said,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what to do, he said, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what to do. How do I take my family
<v Speaker 1>from something like this? He said. It comes around every
<v Speaker 1>once in a while, he said, but this is the
<v Speaker 1>first time I actually got a chance to see it.
<v Speaker 1>He said, Granny would see it looking in the window
<v Speaker 1>all the time. He'd come around. What maybe it was curious,
<v Speaker 1>every cooking, whatever it made it been, it had come
<v Speaker 1>around looking inside the window at her. And he said,
<v Speaker 1>I just don't know what to do. And I said,
<v Speaker 1>if you ever thought about maybe getting a hold of
<v Speaker 1>Wildlife Fisheries Department and turning it in let them handle it,
<v Speaker 1>or calling law enforcement. And he said, absolutely not. I
<v Speaker 1>don't want that word getting out. I don't want no
<v Speaker 1>one knowing about this, because at that time I'm Camden
<v Speaker 1>with a small town. Small town, did a lot of
<v Speaker 1>his produced selling over there in Campen. And he said,
<v Speaker 1>I don't want the word getting out. People think we're crazy.
<v Speaker 1>He said, please, don't talk about this to anybody, not
<v Speaker 1>even when you go back to Fort Poke. And I said, yes, sir,
<v Speaker 1>you know honor of that. And I did, honor. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't talk about it at all next morning. Well, of
<v Speaker 1>course we didn't sleep that night. That was without saying.
<v Speaker 1>Everyone was too wired. And we set up drinking coffee
<v Speaker 1>on that long just talking about this. I asked Granny.
<v Speaker 1>Once she calmed down, I said, man, I said, you
<v Speaker 1>saw this thing looking in the mirror in the window
<v Speaker 1>at you, not from I understand, uh from Bobby. You've
<v Speaker 1>seen it a few times and she said, yes, I have.
<v Speaker 1>I said, would you. We've seen it, but we've seen
<v Speaker 1>it at a profile. We seen it at it was
<v Speaker 1>flank of us, so we didn't see it face straight on.
<v Speaker 1>We could tell, you know, it was huge. It's big.
<v Speaker 1>It was massive. And I said, well, you saw its
<v Speaker 1>face straight on? She says, yes, I have. I said,
<v Speaker 1>can you describe it to me? And she said yeah.
<v Speaker 1>It was like a huge man's face, always no man,
<v Speaker 1>and it had a big nose, It had a big mouth,
<v Speaker 1>human like teeth, but they were very yellow. Its skin
<v Speaker 1>was very rough looking, and it had big red eyes.
<v Speaker 1>And I said big red eyes and she said yes,
<v Speaker 1>big red eyes like the tail lights of a truck.
<v Speaker 1>That threw me off, because to that, to me, that's
<v Speaker 1>vampire type stuff. I don't, you know, I couldn't relate
<v Speaker 1>red eyes. That doesn't you know. But I didn't doubt
<v Speaker 1>her because I know what we've seen. Well, he just
<v Speaker 1>seen this creature, so evidently what she's seen is you know,
<v Speaker 1>she described me to us. I have to go ahead
<v Speaker 1>and believe because she have to believe. Well, I just
<v Speaker 1>told her we've seen and she's all that these people
<v Speaker 1>were old Pentecostal folks. Uh. And if you nothing about Pentecostals,
<v Speaker 1>they're very, very very strong. Just you had to put
<v Speaker 1>a gun to her head and make her lie, because
<v Speaker 1>she's about seventy years old. She was very, very very religious,
<v Speaker 1>and so I I said, I know what I've seen,
<v Speaker 1>So I definitely believe what she saw in that winter.
<v Speaker 1>And evidently we put one on one together the next morning,
<v Speaker 1>Like I said, no one slept that night. Next morning
<v Speaker 1>we went ahead.
<v Speaker 5>Went outside daylight.
<v Speaker 1>We go to Rico and went out there back to
<v Speaker 1>the point of wards when we first seen this creature
<v Speaker 1>jumped the fence and we started right there. We noticed
<v Speaker 1>the bob wire on top of that that cattle panel
<v Speaker 1>fence wasn't touched, no no blood, no hair, nothing. But
<v Speaker 1>we seen the footprints were landed in the side of
<v Speaker 1>the pasture and it ran. When it ran, and we
<v Speaker 1>followed them footprints and we measured them about seventeen inches long,
<v Speaker 1>about five and a half inches wide. Now, when it
<v Speaker 1>came to the cattle gate where it went through that
<v Speaker 1>that's when we started seeing in the mask part of
<v Speaker 1>the damn betwhen it went through that, those two by
<v Speaker 1>six boards were just shredded, I mean busting through like
<v Speaker 1>a D nine dose that went through their full throttle
<v Speaker 1>bob wire was twisted up and broke. We found wads
<v Speaker 1>of hair and blood on the boards and everything. Now again,
<v Speaker 1>I want to go back on this real quick. Remember
<v Speaker 1>this was nineteen seventy five years before computers or cell
<v Speaker 1>phones or any of that stuff. So we of course
<v Speaker 1>we had cell phones. We have massive amount of pictures
<v Speaker 1>off the cell phone on it. There was no computers,
<v Speaker 1>no cell phones back then, so and no one had
<v Speaker 1>the habit and walked around with them whether big polaroid
<v Speaker 1>camera hanging over your neck. So we went ahead and
<v Speaker 1>didn't have the technology back then. We go ahead and think, okay,
<v Speaker 1>we're going to create I wish I had grabbed wads
<v Speaker 1>of hair, but it didn't even dawn on us. You know,
<v Speaker 1>we can't get analyzed or anything but any case back
<v Speaker 1>in that time. So uh, we went ahead and looked
<v Speaker 1>at it. We found the squeez shoot. It was all
<v Speaker 1>bent up, rowed up from the iron bars on that
<v Speaker 1>from the force of him going through that defence. We
<v Speaker 1>found the corner post laid over. Of course, that's gone
<v Speaker 1>to the briars right there. As as far as we went,
<v Speaker 1>we weren't going any further. Well, like they said, you know,
<v Speaker 1>it'd come around every once in a while. They were
<v Speaker 1>scared to death about anyone knowing about this. And again
<v Speaker 1>they really, please, don't tell anyone about this. We don't
<v Speaker 1>want the word getting out. We had reputation in our community,
<v Speaker 1>in our town and our church. We sure don't want
<v Speaker 1>the word getting out people looking at us like we're crazy.
<v Speaker 1>So and of course, back in that time period in
<v Speaker 1>seventy five, it wasn't like it is now today, where
<v Speaker 1>you know, lots of sightings a big foot, this and
<v Speaker 1>that and everything else. Back then there was probably still sightings,
<v Speaker 1>but no one talked about that. No one even brought
<v Speaker 1>them up. It was not even a thing, you know,
<v Speaker 1>just because no one really knew what a big foot was.
<v Speaker 1>It didn't come out with the word sasquash it or
<v Speaker 1>anything else. This was just you know, fresh in people's minds. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I went back to Post, and I kept my mouth
<v Speaker 1>shut on request, like he wanted me to. And I
<v Speaker 1>honored that through my military time and of course, about
<v Speaker 1>well eight months later, I went ahead and got PCs
<v Speaker 1>transferred overseas and lost contact with me and my girlfriend
<v Speaker 1>broke up. We lost contact with the family and such.
<v Speaker 1>And of course I came back stateside several years later,
<v Speaker 1>and that my wife, who got married in eighty four
<v Speaker 1>out here in Louisiana. My wife now still never talked
<v Speaker 1>about it, never told her, never told any of my friends.
<v Speaker 1>We ended up. I started my career in law enforcement
<v Speaker 1>shortly after we got married in nineteen eighty four, and
<v Speaker 1>had two boys. They now growed up. One is a
<v Speaker 1>warden of a prison and uh, the other one plays
<v Speaker 1>in a band out in Nashville, Tennessee, and uh, they're
<v Speaker 1>in there later thirties. And they didn't know about this
<v Speaker 1>until a few years ago. I didn't feel comfortable telling them,
<v Speaker 1>and of course they wanted to know, why, why why
<v Speaker 1>why didn't you tell us about this? Pop? Well, you know,
<v Speaker 1>it was just I didn't want to come out with it.
<v Speaker 1>I had a promise I wouldn't talk about it, and
<v Speaker 1>I did. Plus I didn't want anyone thinking I was
<v Speaker 1>throwed off. So in my career in law enforcement, I
<v Speaker 1>you know, you got to watch what you say. Even
<v Speaker 1>though I had gone ahead and talked to some folks
<v Speaker 1>in my career in law enforcement had seen these creatures
<v Speaker 1>here in Louisiana, and I took reports. I didn't tell
<v Speaker 1>them my encounter. However, I did go ahead and let
<v Speaker 1>them know I believe everything they're saying, because I knew
<v Speaker 1>for what I had of doubt, these things are real,
<v Speaker 1>contrary to what we've been taught. Like they say, seeing
<v Speaker 1>us believing, well, I can't argue that. Living out here

<v Speaker 1>Of course, me and my wife's family became real good friends,
<v Speaker 1>and me and her uncle became real good friends, and
<v Speaker 1>we became hunting buddies and deer hunting, squirrel hundred hogkinning
<v Speaker 1>together for years off of these woods out here. And
<v Speaker 1>one day we're sitting few years ago, we were sitting
<v Speaker 1>down on this port having coffee, and I said, you know,
<v Speaker 1>Uncle Lewis, I wouldn't mind going ahead and going an
<v Speaker 1>and cocon swam out there, and you know, it's about
<v Speaker 1>ten miles from here and do some hunting out there.
<v Speaker 1>It's some rough terrain. But he was at the time,
<v Speaker 1>he was in the seventies. He looked at me and
<v Speaker 1>he said, no, no, I'll not go there again. And
<v Speaker 1>I thought, well, yeah, rough terrain. He probably couldn't handle it,
<v Speaker 1>his knees and all. And I started laughing kind of
<v Speaker 1>funny him about it, and he he told me. He said, ah,
<v Speaker 1>he said, you know me, son, He said, I can
<v Speaker 1>walk them mountain and I said, yes, sir, I said,
<v Speaker 1>I know you can, but I figure it's because of
<v Speaker 1>the terrain and why you don't want to go, and
<v Speaker 1>I respect that. We'll go somewhere else. He goes, no,
<v Speaker 1>it's not the terrain. Well, you got my curiosity up.
<v Speaker 1>And I said, Uncle Louis, what's what is about that area?
<v Speaker 1>He said, I can I tell you. I ain't told
<v Speaker 1>my brothers, I ain't told your wife, which is my niece.
<v Speaker 1>I ain't told nobody. Ain't no one's to know about it.
<v Speaker 1>And I said, well, now I really got my curiosity up,
<v Speaker 1>and it sounds like you've seen something, son, and he
<v Speaker 1>said I did. He said, don't make me tell this story.
<v Speaker 1>I ain't never told it and I ain't never going
<v Speaker 1>to tell it. And I said, all right. Well that's
<v Speaker 1>when all of a sudden, spined with my spine started
<v Speaker 1>wiggling and getting them chills, and I knew, guess what
<v Speaker 1>it's time to come out in my story. If I
<v Speaker 1>want to hear what he's talking about, which can be
<v Speaker 1>similar maybe not at all, I better go ahead and
<v Speaker 1>tell him what I've seen. So I'll come loose for
<v Speaker 1>the first time in over forty years. And I said,
<v Speaker 1>Uncle Lewis, let me tell you a story that happened
<v Speaker 1>to me back when I was in the military, over
<v Speaker 1>outside of campad Arkansas, my girlfriend's farm. Well after I
<v Speaker 1>told him that story, oh man, I looked like hei
<v Speaker 1>fin the cry. He said, I must not be crazy.
<v Speaker 1>And I said, no, sir, I promise you're not crazy.
<v Speaker 1>This thing is a real and he he said, I
<v Speaker 1>feel so relieved. He said that. He said, you're the
<v Speaker 1>first person I've told. And he said. The only other
<v Speaker 1>person who knows about it is the one that was
<v Speaker 1>with me. That was Milt hick and Bottom, which I
<v Speaker 1>knew very well. I knew Milton very well, and his
<v Speaker 1>sons lived a few miles from here. Of course, he's
<v Speaker 1>passed away now, but him and Lewis were together back
<v Speaker 1>in the fifties when they were out squirrel hunting. He
<v Speaker 1>explained it to me and they're ant Coca Swamp and
<v Speaker 1>they got out there before daybreak on them rode rode
<v Speaker 1>horses out there, and uh, as soon as the sun,
<v Speaker 1>you know, day break started breaking. Of course, when you
<v Speaker 1>squirrel hunting, that's what you're doing. You're up there, sitting
<v Speaker 1>down looking and waiting for that limb to move. You
<v Speaker 1>know what, it starts bouncing, you know, the squirrel up there,
<v Speaker 1>they're going to moving. And so the hit daybreak, you know,
<v Speaker 1>it just starting to be able to see a little bit.
<v Speaker 1>They noticed they were on then Cooke and Creek over there,
<v Speaker 1>and they noticed across the creek, which was very shallow
<v Speaker 1>at the time, they noticed on a white sandbar there
<v Speaker 1>was a big he thought it was a tree, just
<v Speaker 1>sitting there, no limbs on it, just straight up and
<v Speaker 1>down on the sandbar, which is very unusual. But he
<v Speaker 1>couldn't make it out because it had not up sunlight yet.
<v Speaker 1>But he looked up in trees, looking up in trees,
<v Speaker 1>you know, squirrel hunt, and he looked over there, and
<v Speaker 1>as it got the sun got brighter, he said he
<v Speaker 1>noticed it wasn't a tree. It was something huge, tall,
<v Speaker 1>maybe eight ten foot tall, standing there looking at him
<v Speaker 1>and Milton we showed Milton, and Milton looked at he
<v Speaker 1>didn't know what to think. He said, by that time,
<v Speaker 1>this thing reared back. It grabbed a hold of a
<v Speaker 1>limb coming off off the bluff there. He said, it
<v Speaker 1>reared back and it lay out a roar that made
<v Speaker 1>there his hat literally pop off his head. He said,
<v Speaker 1>his hair hit stood up so hard. And so when
<v Speaker 1>ahead and Uh turned around, walked up, stepped up on
<v Speaker 1>the bluff and walked off in the woods real quick.
<v Speaker 1>But he said, they waited a few minutes. They wasn't
<v Speaker 1>getting no hurry, so they didn't want to turn turn
<v Speaker 1>around come back at him. So they waited a few minutes,
<v Speaker 1>and they crossed that creek, went over there, and they
<v Speaker 1>seen the footprints in the sand and everything. And he
<v Speaker 1>noticed that limb coming off that bluff. It's about twelve
<v Speaker 1>foot in there. He said, for this thing to go
<v Speaker 1>ahead and touch that limb and grab it like it did,
<v Speaker 1>had it be at least ten foot tall, and in
<v Speaker 1>the bluff was about five five and a half six
<v Speaker 1>foot up off the sand bar. That thing stepped up
<v Speaker 1>on that with the one foot and went on. He
<v Speaker 1>said it had been huge. So he said, I seen
<v Speaker 1>that never went back there again me and never went
<v Speaker 1>back then and Cocain again. We never went back there
<v Speaker 1>and never did, never will. And uh so it took
<v Speaker 1>me coming out my story to go ahead and get
<v Speaker 1>him to go ahead and come out with his Well.
<v Speaker 1>So after that happened there, I decided I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>get brave enough tell my wife, my youngins, my sons,
<v Speaker 1>and I did and just you know, my boys, both
<v Speaker 1>of them knew me and knew Pop says it from us,
<v Speaker 1>put it in the bank. And as I always raised
<v Speaker 1>them and talked to them, hey, tell it like it is. Son.
<v Speaker 1>You know, someone don't believe you, that's their problem, but
<v Speaker 1>you know, tell it like it is. Well. So I
<v Speaker 1>had to hold them when I taught them, holding my own.
<v Speaker 1>So I went ahead and told him, I said, this
<v Speaker 1>is why I seen years ago, and they believed me.
<v Speaker 1>And my wife, you know, she half and halfway does,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, she trusts me and everything else, but you
<v Speaker 1>know it's just for her seeing us believe it. However,
<v Speaker 1>she has heard things that she can't explain, so she knows.
<v Speaker 1>You know, hey, well when Uncle Lewis her uncle came
<v Speaker 1>out and told you know, told her about it, he
<v Speaker 1>verified it the story he told me. Of course, then
<v Speaker 1>she really started, you know, coming around saying, well, maybe
<v Speaker 1>there is something around you know. So there's several people
<v Speaker 1>out here in this area in Louisiana who've seen things.
<v Speaker 1>We live on the Texas Louisiana border, southwest Louisiana. A
<v Speaker 1>lot of sightings on the Sabine. Uh. There's been so
<v Speaker 1>many sightings out here in Louisiana, to the town called Zwally, Louisiana,
<v Speaker 1>about forty five miles north of us, where there's been
<v Speaker 1>so many sightings out there. The mayor of zu Wally
<v Speaker 1>has not called the BFRO, which is Bigfoot Organization, to
<v Speaker 1>come out there and do investigations and so uh. And
<v Speaker 1>they did. And here in that condish Losing, which is
<v Speaker 1>about about the same distance. It's a little more east
<v Speaker 1>of Zawali, and that this is a little bigger town
<v Speaker 1>that Cash Louisiana. We went out there and they had
<v Speaker 1>their first big Foot festival out there last year and
<v Speaker 1>we went to it. We expected to see maybe about
<v Speaker 1>maybe fifty to one hundred people there. You know, you
<v Speaker 1>know how many people believe in bigfoot, right there was
<v Speaker 1>all four thousand people came through there. The people there
<v Speaker 1>didn't put the expedition on, had no earthly clue that
<v Speaker 1>there was that many people who've seen these things, and
<v Speaker 1>we talked, shared stories and everything else, and I was amazed.
<v Speaker 1>And so it showed me how many people have seen
<v Speaker 1>these creatures but have not come forward because they're scared
<v Speaker 1>of their ridicule. They don't want to get called a nut,
<v Speaker 1>you know, and crazy. I've been asked to do a
<v Speaker 1>few podcasts and I went in doing so. I've had
<v Speaker 1>several comments from people listeners that have said, thank you
<v Speaker 1>for sharing this. It's helped me, you know, have the
<v Speaker 1>courage come forward and share my encounter. And so as
<v Speaker 1>that happened there, and I had many, many, many people
<v Speaker 1>tell me this, and I'm discussing with different people my age,
<v Speaker 1>older or even younger and their encounters. I kind of
<v Speaker 1>set me on a mission. Now I'm retired, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I enjoy helping people. I did that in the military,
<v Speaker 1>did that in my law enforcement career, and now being
<v Speaker 1>able to help people come forward get this off their
<v Speaker 1>chest is as a blessing to them and a blessing
<v Speaker 1>to me to help know I'm helping other people go
<v Speaker 1>ahead and clear their mind, and so it's been a
<v Speaker 1>tremendous situation. I had a second encounter. Now, the second encounter,
<v Speaker 1>I did not see the creature, and I want that understood.
<v Speaker 1>When I say something, I you know, I'm not going
<v Speaker 1>to tell someone I did if I didn't, I was,
<v Speaker 1>you know. So I did not see this creature. And
<v Speaker 1>the second encounter. The first one I did, of course,
<v Speaker 1>but not the second one. The second one, we heard it.
<v Speaker 1>We heard it, we didn't see it. I was stationed
<v Speaker 1>at Fort Polk nineteen seventy six. This is about six
<v Speaker 1>months after the event encounter I had in Arkansas. I
<v Speaker 1>was stationed over at Fort Polk. Back then it was
<v Speaker 1>fifth Mechanized and fifth Army, and I I was with
<v Speaker 1>first fifty first Infantry Battalion, First and fortieth Armored Battalion
<v Speaker 1>was going in the field maneuvers. Now we trained where
<v Speaker 1>Fort Polk's located, right out the edge of what's called
<v Speaker 1>Kasatti National Forest. Kasati National Force is one of the
<v Speaker 1>biggest national forces in Louisiana. Over six hundred thousand acres
<v Speaker 1>of plump and just thick, thick, thick, thick woods. Lots
<v Speaker 1>of sightings out there, lots of sightings out there. We
<v Speaker 1>would train out there in an area of Kasati called
<v Speaker 1>peace On Ridge, and they still train their day. Matter
<v Speaker 1>of fact, that are more advanced than it was back
<v Speaker 1>when I was in in the seventies. But any case,
<v Speaker 1>so first and fortieth was in the route. The whole
<v Speaker 1>battalion and all those tanks and APC's going mobile howitzers
<v Speaker 1>were going down the back dirt roads going to Peace
<v Speaker 1>on daytime and something crossed the road huge eight nine
<v Speaker 1>ten foot tall. They said it was like a huge bear,
<v Speaker 1>but it wasn't a bear. It ran like a man. See,
<v Speaker 1>a bear can can stand like a man, and a
<v Speaker 1>bear can walk a man. A bear cannot run. A
<v Speaker 1>man has to follow all fours. Is hip and leg
<v Speaker 1>structure were allowed to run, So I have to follow
<v Speaker 1>all fours. This thing ran across there like a like
<v Speaker 1>a like I saw a track star on two feet
<v Speaker 1>pump pumping arms and everything huge ran across there, so
<v Speaker 1>covered and hair. So the uh BC Battalion commander had
<v Speaker 1>radio back to Pope to Post the division headquarters and
<v Speaker 1>the Post commander general how day time hit and if
<v Speaker 1>you order to go ahead and shut down Fort Pope
<v Speaker 1>to the public back then those days. Posts were all
<v Speaker 1>Fort Pope, Fort Benning for whatever was was open posts
<v Speaker 1>for you can come and drive on Sivili and wise
<v Speaker 1>drive on it, buy off or whatever. Of course they're
<v Speaker 1>close posts now to the public. If you have authorization,
<v Speaker 1>you go on. Ever since uh steat of storm, but
<v Speaker 1>any case, uh back in the seventies, a different, different world.
<v Speaker 1>So he went ahead and he shut the post down
<v Speaker 1>for a week. Then you and noan trust personnel and
<v Speaker 1>UH spending workers authorized can go on. That was it.
<v Speaker 1>All units, all the units first the first infantry fist
<v Speaker 1>sing them Attalian first and fortieth third and seventy six,
<v Speaker 1>all the different maintenance MP's units. Everything was put on
<v Speaker 1>alert to go out there and deployed out to the
<v Speaker 1>backwoods of Fort Pope throughout piece on ridge looking for
<v Speaker 1>evidence of this thing. We were told to go ahead
<v Speaker 1>and all given cameras to photograph any evidents and go
<v Speaker 1>ahead and document any evans that we come across. As
<v Speaker 1>we were going there, of course everyone split up. All
<v Speaker 1>the different units are going through different parts of the woods,
<v Speaker 1>were spread across miles thick thick woods. As we were
<v Speaker 1>going went ahead and we heard them that a major
<v Speaker 1>crash like almost like sounded like two trucks crashing through
<v Speaker 1>the woods. So we ran over there and heard some noise,
<v Speaker 1>them breaking and everything else. But the time we got there,
<v Speaker 1>whatever it was was gone. We didn't see it, and
<v Speaker 1>there was a juice in a half, which is a
<v Speaker 1>military transport truck, heavy duty military transport truck used transport troops,
<v Speaker 1>was picked up and going outside and crushed. Bear is
<v Speaker 1>not going to do that. A tema bears is not
<v Speaker 1>going to do that. H Tima grizzlies couldn't do that.
<v Speaker 3>That.
<v Speaker 1>Something huge and powerful did that destroyed that juice in
<v Speaker 1>the half. We got pictures of it documented with documented everything,
<v Speaker 1>and of course were ready to go back. Uh. We
<v Speaker 1>did here later on through the g I grape vine,
<v Speaker 1>which you really can't go ahead no verification. We heard
<v Speaker 1>it from the grape vine from other troops that you
<v Speaker 1>know the creature was caught. Was that verified?
<v Speaker 6>No?
<v Speaker 1>Did we get an actual solid word on that. No,
<v Speaker 1>that was true the grape fine. That's as far as
<v Speaker 1>it went, so I don't know if it was true
<v Speaker 1>or not that was captured. However, after the event happened,
<v Speaker 1>we were all told to go across the field across
<v Speaker 1>from post across Highway ten going there, wait upon in
<v Speaker 1>General Post commander to go ahead and come out there
<v Speaker 1>and brief us, debrief us and everything. We were coase
<v Speaker 1>told we were not to talk about this event. He
<v Speaker 1>put everything which we called Billy Goat Hill outside of
<v Speaker 1>Fort Polk, and anyone had been to Fort Polk before
<v Speaker 1>station there outside there's a town called Leesville, and of
<v Speaker 1>course there's called it where the bars are called Billy
<v Speaker 1>Goat Hill, and that's why the g I would go,
<v Speaker 1>we all to go to the party was put on
<v Speaker 1>you know, off limits. We couldn't go off post and
<v Speaker 1>for a certain amount of time he didn't want the
<v Speaker 1>word of getting out there, so we got the all clear,
<v Speaker 1>so we all had abide by that couldn't talk about
<v Speaker 1>it and everything else. It was shortly after that period,
<v Speaker 1>a few months later that I went ahead and got
<v Speaker 1>PCs orders, went overseas to Europe and served several years overseas,
<v Speaker 1>or I came back state side. This event. Both these
<v Speaker 1>events just completely changed my life and way of thinking
<v Speaker 1>and what's going on of course across the years, not
<v Speaker 1>just my wife's uncle, my brother in law who wants
<v Speaker 1>a big construction company, travels all of the US building
<v Speaker 1>malls and hospitals and everything else. We were sitting down
<v Speaker 1>one day at water in law's house on the front porch.
<v Speaker 1>I had come out with my story finally, and he
<v Speaker 1>told me. He said, well, Steve, I want to tell
<v Speaker 1>you something. Son. He said, you ain't going the one
<v Speaker 1>And I said, you've seen one of these things. He said,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what it is I've seen. Son, He said,
<v Speaker 1>but I've seen something and I can't explain what it is.
<v Speaker 1>And he told me that story. And you know, not
<v Speaker 1>nine or ten miles from here, when it's called Old
<v Speaker 1>River Damn, which is a very popular backwater, back thick
<v Speaker 1>thick thick swamp.
<v Speaker 5>Uh.
<v Speaker 1>He set traps down there. You know. He went back
<v Speaker 1>there one morning about two am, him and the partner
<v Speaker 1>of his and he said, well, they they seen this
<v Speaker 1>thing they had. They turned it in about face and
<v Speaker 1>they hit that thing wide open sun and he said,
<v Speaker 1>he said, all I seen was stars. Front in that
<v Speaker 1>boat was going straight up. He said they were getting
<v Speaker 1>out of there quick. And they went back there and
<v Speaker 1>he said, you might think I'm crazy, But I said, no, sir,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think you're crazy. I know I'm hearing different
<v Speaker 1>people what they've seen. I know what I've seen, so uh,
<v Speaker 1>these things are real, and uh, I know there's been
<v Speaker 1>a lot of stories different postscause. I've been stationed at
<v Speaker 1>Fort Benning, Georgia. I've been stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. UH,
<v Speaker 1>Fort Gordon, Georgia, Fort Stewart or Pope. I've been geen
<v Speaker 1>wy all over and there's some events that just uh,
<v Speaker 1>there's another event that happened. I'm not at liberty to
<v Speaker 1>talking about. Maybe one day I will come out with it,
<v Speaker 1>but this one here just I can't right now. But
<v Speaker 1>any case, these two events right here, in these encounters
<v Speaker 1>right here were, like I said, changed everything I thought.
<v Speaker 1>And so if I can help anybody, you know, this
<v Speaker 1>helps anybody coming forward, you know, to get this off

<v Speaker 6>My Bigfoot setting happened in Wyoming. My name is Mark Blank.
<v Speaker 6>I am from Wisconsin. My setting happened the twenty eighth
<v Speaker 6>of December two thousand three. I was heading north on
<v Speaker 6>eighty seven through Colorado, Wyoming and up into Idaho, I
<v Speaker 6>was visiting my step son down in Wyoming, so it
<v Speaker 6>had been a long day and I was heading north
<v Speaker 6>to go meet with a friend that lives in northern
<v Speaker 6>Idaho to help him finish his house we've been building
<v Speaker 6>for a couple of years.
<v Speaker 5>It was dust.
<v Speaker 6>The sun had just come down over the mountains, so
<v Speaker 6>we had that red kind of the red glow. You
<v Speaker 6>could see shadows, but you really couldn't make out definition.
<v Speaker 6>So we're coming out of the corner of my eye,
<v Speaker 6>I see movement and I just happened to glance over
<v Speaker 6>and I see At that time, I thought it was
<v Speaker 6>a farmer that's coming down the trail from his field
<v Speaker 6>or something like that. But looking back on it, eyes
<v Speaker 6>and proportioned a human to what I actually saw were
<v Speaker 6>two different things.
<v Speaker 5>Uh.
<v Speaker 6>It looked like he had a hat on, because come
<v Speaker 6>to find out, the Bigfoot had a conical head, so
<v Speaker 6>in the shadows, it looked like he had a knit
<v Speaker 6>hat on like you you know, see in the wintertime
<v Speaker 6>with you know, kids are wearing you know for tobogganing
<v Speaker 6>or whatever, sledding or you know, your typical winter hat.
<v Speaker 6>As I saw that and didn't think nothing of it,
<v Speaker 6>and it disappeared. I saw it for probably about oh
<v Speaker 6>two seconds, and I was coming down. I looked back
<v Speaker 6>at the road and I was coming around a kind
<v Speaker 6>of a sharp corner and not thinking nothing of it.
<v Speaker 6>I come around the corner. I had my high beams
<v Speaker 6>on and as I come around the corner, my headlights
<v Speaker 6>lit up. This sasquatch it. I thought it was seeing
<v Speaker 6>things at first, but it would It came out right
<v Speaker 6>where I thought it was the farmer that would have
<v Speaker 6>came out of the you know, to field, the maybe
<v Speaker 6>cross the road and I had caught it. I think
<v Speaker 6>it would be like almost like a mid stride. The
<v Speaker 6>first thing I noticed was its head, the conical shaped head,
<v Speaker 6>and it was it was pretty big. And the next
<v Speaker 6>thing I noticed was the ear, which was it was
<v Speaker 6>flush with the head, but you could see the It
<v Speaker 6>looked like a comma and it was kind of like black.
<v Speaker 6>So I figured that's exactly where the ear was. And
<v Speaker 6>most of the sightings people never you know, they say
<v Speaker 6>it don't have any ears, but I think it's just
<v Speaker 6>they're so tight to the head that you know, you
<v Speaker 6>wouldn't see it. And I want to saw them. If
<v Speaker 6>I had a head on view of it, but I
<v Speaker 6>had a kind of a cornering, cornering angle at it.
<v Speaker 6>It had, uh just reached out to go over the fence,
<v Speaker 6>and it had its hand on a post. Now I
<v Speaker 6>don't know if anybody knows what a five strand fence is,
<v Speaker 6>but they're pretty good size.
<v Speaker 5>I'd probably say five foot tall.
<v Speaker 1>And the.
<v Speaker 6>Top of the fence came to below its belly button.
<v Speaker 6>I could actually see its belly button, and its hand
<v Speaker 6>was over the post like it was grabbing a hole
<v Speaker 6>to step over. And the hand was so massive, I
<v Speaker 6>you know, granted just only took probably you know, I
<v Speaker 6>had maybe two three second view, but it's it's burned
<v Speaker 6>in my burned in my brain. I think it about
<v Speaker 6>it every day, Like most people that had had a sighting,
<v Speaker 6>you know, there's not too often they don't think about it.
<v Speaker 6>It had its hand on top of the post, and
<v Speaker 6>for lack of a better word, they were like the
<v Speaker 6>fingers were bigger than sassages.
<v Speaker 5>They were. It was absolutely huge.
<v Speaker 6>I mean they could probably grab my head and you know,
<v Speaker 6>have room to like they say, you know, twist your
<v Speaker 6>head off, no problem. At the same time, I took
<v Speaker 6>in the body shape actually the hair I guess the
<v Speaker 6>hair was a it was black gray and maybe a
<v Speaker 6>little white. And maybe it's because of the lighting of
<v Speaker 6>the truck that hit it, but I definitely can notice
<v Speaker 6>that the skin was pure black or real dark gray,
<v Speaker 6>which kind of surprised me. I was, you know, I
<v Speaker 6>wasn't expecting that, but I've heard it, you know, like humans,
<v Speaker 6>they got, you know, various different colored skins. Well, when
<v Speaker 6>I saw that this guy was huge. If he was
<v Speaker 6>under ten feet, i'd be surprised. Like I said, that
<v Speaker 6>five strand fences came up to his belly button and
<v Speaker 6>you know, that's probably five foot tall. And the definition
<v Speaker 6>it wasn't really thick hair it was, or maybe it's
<v Speaker 6>the way the light hit him, but I could see
<v Speaker 6>the definition in his muscles and it was incredible.
<v Speaker 5>His legs. I never did get to see the feet.
<v Speaker 6>So I saw it from maybe I saw a little
<v Speaker 6>the top portion, you know, which would be the thighs,

<v Speaker 6>because of the way he was turned, and the only
<v Speaker 6>way I could really just was like the top of
<v Speaker 6>a fifty five gallon drome, that big around the pectoral muscles,
<v Speaker 6>and he probably stuck out probably a good two or
<v Speaker 6>three inches. So you know, like I said, he was
<v Speaker 6>definitely built like a body builder. He must not been
<v Speaker 6>too old or too young, so maybe middle aged, because
<v Speaker 6>he was pretty ripped. I could see definitely see the
<v Speaker 6>the abs in his stomach. I couldn't see the eyes
<v Speaker 6>because the eyes were closed. I'm assuming they were closed
<v Speaker 6>because i'd come around the corner and probably he didn't
<v Speaker 6>want to lose his night vision if I want to
<v Speaker 6>see him coming down the road or coming off the hill.
<v Speaker 6>I probably would have never noticed it other than when
<v Speaker 6>I saw him there in the you know, in the twilight,
<v Speaker 6>and you know, that caught my attention.

<v Speaker 6>The sighting, like I said, was you know, mere seconds,
<v Speaker 6>and it was very humbling. I've always been a believer,
<v Speaker 6>and now I'd like to say I'm a knower. You know,

<v Speaker 6>see one of these animals, beast, humans, whatever you want
<v Speaker 6>to call them, I think they're related to us, half human,
<v Speaker 6>maybe half an Phelim, you know of you know, the
<v Speaker 6>Bible days, something like that, or a crossbreeder.

<v Speaker 6>But as I passed, I was kind of shocked, and
<v Speaker 6>I was looking forward, and I got down about a
<v Speaker 6>mile down the road, and I seriously thought about turning around,
<v Speaker 6>and I decided against it. I said, well, by the
<v Speaker 6>time you get turned around, you know, he was already
<v Speaker 6>in the process, or she was already in the process. No,
<v Speaker 6>it was a male. I know it wasn't a female
<v Speaker 6>because I could definitely see the pectorals. He'd probably be gone,
<v Speaker 6>and to be honest, I'm sure I wanted to see
<v Speaker 6>him again. It was a humbling experience. Later that night,
<v Speaker 6>I stopped in Montana to spend the night, and of
<v Speaker 6>course I had a fairly sleeping some night, and I
<v Speaker 6>was continuing on the next morning to northern Idaho where
<v Speaker 6>I was helping a friend build his house. And it's
<v Speaker 6>fired northern Idaho, north of Quarter Lane, so it's up
<v Speaker 6>by the Canadian border pretty close, I think, like fifty
<v Speaker 6>miles or something like that. And the next day, well,
<v Speaker 6>we were working on the house. We're staying in a
<v Speaker 6>camper in the garageby had built, so we'd pulled it
<v Speaker 6>in there and during the you know, that's where we
<v Speaker 6>slept that night. And that next morning, early morning, probably
<v Speaker 6>about four o'clock, I had walked out to go to
<v Speaker 6>the bathroom and I heard three distinct now I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 6>four distinct knocks. It almost sounded like a baseball bat
<v Speaker 6>hitting a tree. Now it's four in the morning, so
<v Speaker 6>I kind of deal, if there's anybody out whacking a
<v Speaker 6>tree at four in the morning. So it went whack whack,
<v Speaker 6>whack whack, very well placed. There wasn't a gap it was.
<v Speaker 6>It wasn't like a two second gap or one second
<v Speaker 6>gap or a five second gap in the there are
<v Speaker 6>four consistent.
<v Speaker 5>Boom boom boom boom boom.
<v Speaker 6>And I'm like, oh, that's weird, because I knew sasquatches
<v Speaker 6>had made tree knocks. And about the time, I thought
<v Speaker 6>that I heard two more reply a little further out. Now,
<v Speaker 6>the direction of this knock came from the main road
<v Speaker 6>which kind of runs runs up to Canada, which I
<v Speaker 6>believe ninety. It's not an interstate, but it's ninety that
<v Speaker 6>runs up to Canada. So it sounded like it was
<v Speaker 6>coming more from the highway. And he lives probably about, oh,
<v Speaker 6>I say, three miles off the highway, and the knox
<v Speaker 6>had seemed further to the which would be the south
<v Speaker 6>and those two knocks, And come to think of it,
<v Speaker 6>I've been we've been up there for about three years now,
<v Speaker 6>and I've heard knocks at night before. And for some reason,
<v Speaker 6>as much as a big foot enthusiast as I am,
<v Speaker 6>I never placed it together, maybe because I maybe never
<v Speaker 6>thought i'd hear.
<v Speaker 5>Anything like that. Well, I didn't think i'd see anything
