Revisiting WCW Monday Nitro 1995 - Madusa Throws The WWF Women's Title In The Trash!
"Now, THIS is where the Big Girls play..."
On December 18, 1995, WCW continued to ride the wave of momentum they had been creating over the past few months with their flagship show, WCW Monday Nitro. On this episode of Nitro, in the very first segment of the show, we are introduced to the newest member of the WCW roster. Not only the newest member of the roster, but the current WWF Women's Champion?!
Alundra Blayze, now known as Madusa, made her debut in a big way. Something that we rarely seen on national pro-wrestling television. Madusa took the WWF Women's Championship to the competition, and threw it in the trash.
We also have some big matches on this show, including the first ever 1-on-1 encounter between Ric Flair & Eddie Guerrero. The WCW World Heavyweight Championship is also on the line in our main event, as "Macho Man" Randy Savage defends the big gold against The Giant, who of course has his crazy crew with him of Jimmy Hart & The Taskmaster.
Also, Lex Luger takes on Marcus Alexander Bagwell (also known as Buff Bagwell later on), Sting takes on Earl Robert Eaton (Bobby Eaton!), and of course, Hulk Hogan makes an appearance, despite him being on PROBATION!
All of that, and much more, on this edition of the DEADLOCK Podcast!

We watched WM <v Speaker 2>Slammery two thousand with Dan Reikert and we're still getting <v Speaker 2>comments about that one, James. People very much enjoyed Dan <v Speaker 2>Reikert's crazy fucking ass on this show. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I had a really good time with it too. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. No, it's fantastic. And we also sent Dan record <v Speaker 2>a gigantic w CB Slambury two thousand posters. <v Speaker 1>Buff Bagwell with the Lips. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, go check out us talking about buff Bagwell with <v Speaker 2>the Lips. End that episode of or that paper review <v Speaker 2>excuse me of WCB Slambery two thousand on the Patreon <v Speaker 2>right now. <v Speaker 1>All right, so, uh fucking forgot how we get out <v Speaker 1>of this segment. So anyways, we're gonna head over to <v Speaker 1>the Observer. Now the Observer part of the retro thing <v Speaker 1>we do. All right, let's get into WCW Monday nitro <v Speaker 1>for December eighteenth, nineteen ninety five. We are going into <v Speaker 1>Starcade season. <v Speaker 2>Yes, but before we get into that, let's talk about <v Speaker 2>what was going on in the water wrestling at the <v Speaker 2>time with the Wrestling Observer newsletter from The Observer December eighteenth, <v Speaker 2>nineteen ninety five and East w News. All kinds of <v Speaker 2>turmoil this week, James, as you would come to expect <v Speaker 2>from that wacky island of ECW, Public Enemy's final show <v Speaker 2>will be on January fifth of the East Arena, with <v Speaker 2>the Planet of Them having a house party after the <v Speaker 2>show in the building. Steve Austin is also most likely <v Speaker 2>leaving for the WWF. There were a ton of controversy <v Speaker 2>this week regarding Nancy Sullivan. Mark Madden reported on the <v Speaker 2>ww Hotline that's Sullivan would be leaving e W for <v Speaker 2>ww and go either the name Elizabeth and manager Randy Savage. <v Speaker 2>That's fucking crazy. Ww actually taped over that message and <v Speaker 2>there was a tremendous amount of heat on Mark Madden, <v Speaker 2>to the point where his future with the company was questionable, <v Speaker 2>with Sullivan denying she's leaving ECW and Kevin Sullivan wanting <v Speaker 2>to replace Madden on the hotline with himself and Paul Orndorf. <v Speaker 2>Why the hell would they bring Nancy into b Elizabeth. <v Speaker 1>That's a good question. I mean, Steve Austin leaving for <v Speaker 1>the WWF, I don't know if he'll make it. <v Speaker 2>No, that's a fucking poison. He's fucking I mean, what's <v Speaker 2>he gonna do. Come in and be the ring master <v Speaker 2>and be bald. <v Speaker 1>They're gonna shave his head. <v Speaker 2>And then he's not even gonna read the vaper. <v Speaker 1>They're gonna shave. What the fuck are they doing to <v Speaker 1>Steve Austin. <v Speaker 2>Right, I know, he's got flowing locks, he's a superstar. <v Speaker 2>They're gonna come and make a ball, not let him talk, <v Speaker 2>put him with Ted to b Assi. That's why w <v Speaker 2>CW's winning here because they don't know what to do <v Speaker 2>with guys like. <v Speaker 1>Steve Austin and dude, Yeah, it's weird to think that <v Speaker 1>WCW at the time, you know, when they were starting <v Speaker 1>to rev up and take over the lead and the ratings, <v Speaker 1>Steve Austin hadn't even they had he hadn't even made <v Speaker 1>it to the WWF. That all happens during the time <v Speaker 1>where Nitro's on Monday nights. <v Speaker 2>Correct. Yeah, and that's it's weird to think. Uh, you <v Speaker 2>know what if Austin doesn't come around, you know, thankfully, <v Speaker 2>from what I understand, DX is what you know, shifted <v Speaker 2>the tides. So I guess it wouldn't really matter that much. <v Speaker 2>But Stone Cold played a little part in. <v Speaker 1>It, Yeah, I think so, him and Dooint. <v Speaker 2>In WCW News, Eric Bischoff continually watches Raw on a <v Speaker 2>monitor that many fans in the building can see during <v Speaker 2>the live shows. So if he acts distracted, that's why. <v Speaker 2>I mean, I don't think there's anyone that would be <v Speaker 2>surprised to hear that. You know, they have a fucking <v Speaker 2>screen on with Raw during the show. But Bischoff is <v Speaker 2>out there, like as on commentary, fans can see him <v Speaker 2>watching Raw during the show. <v Speaker 1>Gotta keep an eye on the competition. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, you never know when to switch a match, right <v Speaker 2>like that. They might send Billion bart Gunn out there <v Speaker 2>and who knows what that's gonna fucking do. <v Speaker 1>Who knows when Aaron Ferguson's gonna shoot on somebody. <v Speaker 2>Mike vel Ight have something to say this week to <v Speaker 2>Barry Soaturn. So here's a back to back one for you, <v Speaker 2>the Bushwhackers. This is ww's well. The Bushwhackers are supposed <v Speaker 2>to come in as Luke and Butch from down Under <v Speaker 2>because the WF owns the Bushwhackers name Meltzer says, I <v Speaker 2>have no idea why if they meant anything wood in Titan, <v Speaker 2>which desperately needs anything, still use them. So we're at <v Speaker 2>the part here where WF Meltzer thinks, is so desperate <v Speaker 2>to keep talent and listen, I fuck with the Bushwhackers. <v Speaker 2>I love the entrance, I love the lick in the head, <v Speaker 2>I love all the business. He thinks that they are <v Speaker 2>desperate to keep the Bushwhackers. That's how much WF is <v Speaker 2>getting fucked here. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean the Bushwhackers and the Beverly Brothers had <v Speaker 1>a fantastic match we watched I think at the Royal Rumble. <v Speaker 2>Uh even that Armania regardless, No, that match is horrible, <v Speaker 2>oh was it? Yeah? That match sucked as ah damn well. <v Speaker 2>Continuing on with Bushwacker news from the Observer, December twenty sixth, <v Speaker 2>nineteen ninety five, it appears the deal to bringing the <v Speaker 2>Bushwackers in has fallen through as they were still in <v Speaker 2>the contract with the WF. Well, fuck the Bushwhackers, just <v Speaker 2>fucking forcing ww to illegally negotiate while they're still under <v Speaker 2>deals and now they're staying in the WWF. Who knows <v Speaker 2>what could have happened if Luke and Butch from down <v Speaker 2>Under would have joined the nWo. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think a lot of people are thinking that <v Speaker 1>back then too, just to see what would have happened <v Speaker 1>during World War Three when the down Under team came <v Speaker 1>in and then did the taunt and then immediately got <v Speaker 1>thrown out. <v Speaker 2>Nah, they would have been in the final ten, and <v Speaker 2>Hogan would have decided that they are the last two remaining. <v Speaker 2>And Hogan has to fight up from the Bushwhackers because <v Speaker 2>he knows we can make some money with them, and <v Speaker 2>the lick is bald ass head and it'll start hulking <v Speaker 2>up and then he fucking noggins them and he throws <v Speaker 2>them both over and we have a very exciting end <v Speaker 2>of World War Three. <v Speaker 1>He would hit their heads and they would go to <v Speaker 1>opposite directions and do the taunt over the ropes on <v Speaker 1>opposite sides of the ring. <v Speaker 2>Oh you see the vision then and. <v Speaker 1>The building would start to melt down from how. <v Speaker 2>Nucular gotten there, amed Johnson essentially in Wazooka rockets at <v Speaker 2>the doors. <v Speaker 1>I had to pull the fire alarm. Man, it's getting <v Speaker 1>crazy in this bitch. <v Speaker 2>You know. Instead of sending DX to the front doors <v Speaker 2>of w CW, they should have definitely sent Ahmed with <v Speaker 2>the Bazuka like he did in the intro. Fucking raw. <v Speaker 2>I think that would have got a lot more business done. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, man, they definitely could have just dropped bombs on <v Speaker 1>the building. I guess you know, we want to take <v Speaker 1>it super literal. They could have just killed killed everyone. <v Speaker 2>In the building. Dude, I'm like two for two and <v Speaker 2>like we're on the same station. <v Speaker 1>There's only two options here, is I'm the building like <v Speaker 1>the introid to raz war or send the bushwackers. <v Speaker 2>Which could be both equally as devastating to a company. <v Speaker 2>In more ww news, Paul Owendorf is supposed to undergo <v Speaker 2>next surgery and will no doubt feud with the Horseman <v Speaker 2>when he returns. I just want to bring that up <v Speaker 2>because there's a part of the show where we see <v Speaker 2>Paul Oordorf get taken out in a pretty fucking gnarley way. <v Speaker 2>I actually love how they did this, and we'll we'll <v Speaker 2>talk about that, but just so everyone knows, yees, So <v Speaker 2>he's he is leaving for now to get some neck surgery, <v Speaker 2>which is again keep that in mind for later for <v Speaker 2>how they actually do write him out. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he got fucking horsemen. <v Speaker 2>Dude, I mean the epitome of getting horsemen. So there <v Speaker 2>is a little bit more of the Observer here. Then <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna hold off until the beginning of this Nitro <v Speaker 2>because it is talking about the Medusa incident, you could say, <v Speaker 2>So we'll hold off on that for now. So that <v Speaker 2>is it for the Observer now, and let's get into <v Speaker 2>w c BE Nitro December eighteenth, nineteen ninety five. <v Speaker 1>All right, let's get into Nitro. We start off things <v Speaker 1>with the Nitro City intro. <v Speaker 2>It kicks ass, shit is awesome. I uh did Nitro <v Speaker 2>never had a theme song the head lyrics, huh. It <v Speaker 2>was always just an instrumental Oh, I guess that's right. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>unless you count like the later years where I would. <v Speaker 1>Say, wow, yeah, that counts as lyrics. <v Speaker 2>Oh okay, well I guess I guess if SmackDown's first <v Speaker 2>theme counts as lyrics, then that would too. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. But I mean I love the Nitro City. I <v Speaker 1>mean it would have been very cool to see in <v Speaker 1>a video game or something like if there was like <v Speaker 1>a ring like out in the city or something. You know, <v Speaker 1>sounds like somebody be like an eight bit game or something. <v Speaker 2>You know, Oh that is a fun Yeah, you're right, <v Speaker 2>or yeah, I would fucking backstay just salt. Not having <v Speaker 2>Nitro City actually is pretty ridiculous now that I think <v Speaker 2>about it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that would be sweet though, Like I'm just thinking <v Speaker 1>now in my head, like a ring in the city, <v Speaker 1>like right up against the wall and you could have <v Speaker 1>stuff like projected on the wall and that, Yeah, and <v Speaker 1>that blown out like street light and stuff like that. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>it would be very cool. <v Speaker 2>They could do that in two K twenty seven with <v Speaker 2>the island right like that like that? <v Speaker 1>What about that? What about that w CW game? What <v Speaker 1>one was it? Thunder where there was a big beehive? <v Speaker 2>Very simple? Well, dude, a thunder. Also you could wrestle <v Speaker 2>on the moon. There's a lot of crazy shit in <v Speaker 2>that one. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, which is very very very underrated. I mean, golly, <v Speaker 1>I love that game. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, dude, that game sucks. But the arenas you could <v Speaker 2>pick in w C Thunder the game were fucking awesome. <v Speaker 2>You could wrestle and the farm would had a big <v Speaker 2>barn and you would make the entrances out of the barn. <v Speaker 2>You'd wrestle on the moon, like we mentioned. Yeah, there's <v Speaker 2>a lot of the beehives. <v Speaker 1>The funniest one to me, like they sat around and said, yeah, <v Speaker 1>make the beehive, and. <v Speaker 2>Not one of them said we should make the street <v Speaker 2>that the Nitro intro is on. <v Speaker 1>Absolutely fucking not like not only that, they didn't make <v Speaker 1>like Hollywood for the Thunder deal or anything. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, just the moon got a fucking Mars real <v Speaker 2>quick with this one. Put the aliens up there, oh <v Speaker 2>j yeah, we can do that. <v Speaker 1>Yes, I mean we kind of kicked the show off <v Speaker 1>immediately with the Medusa deal. <v Speaker 2>Dude, Okay, I didn't anticipate that it would be this early. <v Speaker 2>I guess you know, they were trying to grab you know, <v Speaker 2>fucking I imagine Wartermouth via the telephone or maybe you <v Speaker 2>know there was Internet here too, maybe a little buzz <v Speaker 2>to start the show that would feed into the rest <v Speaker 2>of the show. But we have a shot here of Bischoff, <v Speaker 2>Heenan and Mongo and Mango has Pepe, and Pepe is <v Speaker 2>in a little sombrero, a little crazy little. <v Speaker 1>Dog and the red bandana as a mask. <v Speaker 2>Dude. Yeah, so covering up the face because he's about <v Speaker 2>to go rob a bank. I guess is Nick Gage style. <v Speaker 2>So Bischof says, we have a loaded show. Uh, and <v Speaker 2>you got the seven forward, the Giant he's challenging the <v Speaker 2>w's gonna be world champion, the macho man. That's your <v Speaker 2>main event. And I I'm already fired up. That sounds <v Speaker 2>sick as fun. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I actually didn't know what to expect here. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's I mean, I love both those guys, so <v Speaker 2>like hearing that matches happened in sound a pretty sweet, <v Speaker 2>And Mango says, mister Savage, you know, stay away from <v Speaker 2>that choke slam my friend. But first of all, hey, <v Speaker 2>look at this little guy here. He's excited. He's talking <v Speaker 2>about Pepe. He was about to go into Saranama. How <v Speaker 2>kick ass Pepe was, which was then rudely interrupted by <v Speaker 2>a Lundra Blaze who is, of course the current WWF <v Speaker 2>women's champion, and she walks up. She has a mic <v Speaker 2>and she says, all right, can it everyone, which is <v Speaker 2>very rude. Pepe had a lot to say. He was <v Speaker 2>about to go into a dia dribe about the ved. <v Speaker 1>Evet Medusa comes up off screen and says, all right, <v Speaker 1>does that. <v Speaker 2>Dog have a hat? Holy shit? <v Speaker 1>Who is this? <v Speaker 2>She even says, you can't it too, bat doog? <v Speaker 1>Hey, hey, fuck you yeah. <v Speaker 2>Start coming here disrespect that Mango should have stood up, <v Speaker 2>and so should have Bobby Heenan, Hey, what the fuck <v Speaker 2>is your problem? <v Speaker 1>And then the Bushwhackers come up and they do their <v Speaker 1>talk and they say that they were held back in <v Speaker 1>the WWL. <v Speaker 2>They come in and say, you know who I am. <v Speaker 2>You don't know why I have Wow. The Bushwhackers being <v Speaker 2>the first dude to jump before National Razor would be <v Speaker 2>that would have changed history forever. I think I don't <v Speaker 2>know if they would have had to blow up this building. <v Speaker 1>The Bushwhackers come in and do their taunt. They say <v Speaker 1>into the microphone that they were being held back in <v Speaker 1>the WWF and when they're here, they're gonna be playing <v Speaker 1>with the big boys. And then they put the mic <v Speaker 1>down and then they do their taut and they leave, <v Speaker 1>they go, and nothing changes whatsoever, and they never show <v Speaker 1>up again. <v Speaker 2>So Alundra says, I'm Medusa, always have been Medusa, and <v Speaker 2>always will be Medusa. And this is the WNAF Women's <v Speaker 2>Championship Belt, and Bechof says, whoa, And she's holding up <v Speaker 2>it's the pink belt. And she picks up a trash <v Speaker 2>can that's nearby, and this is a famous shot where <v Speaker 2>she holds the belt above the trash can. She shows <v Speaker 2>it to the camera and then drops it into the <v Speaker 2>trash can. And Mongo says, not in the trash can, <v Speaker 2>because he obviously is, you know, super into the WBF <v Speaker 2>Women's division at the time. And Medusa says, and that's <v Speaker 2>what I think of the WABF Women's Championship Belt. This <v Speaker 2>is the WCW. I'm now in the WCW. They used <v Speaker 2>to call me a Lundra Blaze, but not anymore because <v Speaker 2>this is where the big boys playing. Now, this is <v Speaker 2>where the big girls play. And here's a part of <v Speaker 2>this that I don't know if I remember or knew, <v Speaker 2>or anyone remembers. She then throws the mic into the <v Speaker 2>trash can too, why help you do that? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that was awesome, great shot. <v Speaker 2>Dude, dumps it. You can hear goduf and Bechel says, <v Speaker 2>holy smokes Medusa. The WBF women belt in the belt <v Speaker 2>right here on Nitro. Oh, the belt in the trash can? <v Speaker 2>I mean? I'm in shock? And Mango says that the <v Speaker 2>seat covers just got soaked up in Connecticut, didn't it? <v Speaker 2>What the hell does that mean? <v Speaker 1>They just pissed their pants, just piss everywhere. <v Speaker 2>Oh, the seat covers in Connecticut are all brown. <v Speaker 1>No, oh, I can promise you it's not my piss. <v Speaker 2>Oh, it's mine. <v Speaker 1>Oh see, this is if I were losing. <v Speaker 2>God damn it, Bushwackers, you're a pision and shitting all <v Speaker 2>over place. You got shut them over there. <v Speaker 1>Instead, we lose Medusa and the Bushwhackers for one week, <v Speaker 1>and we got Jerry Lawler shit in his pants. We <v Speaker 1>are never gonna win this war, well. <v Speaker 2>He says. Uh. Mango says, I'm getting tired of all <v Speaker 2>these wrestlers charging up here to the announce stand. I <v Speaker 2>got a friend of mine here tonight. It's gonna take <v Speaker 2>care of this business. Come on up, my friend from <v Speaker 2>the Chicago Bears, mister William Perry's a refrigerator. This is <v Speaker 2>I again another part of this that I just didn't <v Speaker 2>know about. Medusa ran in and Mango said, fuck that man, <v Speaker 2>no more motherfuckers show it up here. The fridge. You <v Speaker 2>show up and you're getting fucked up by the fridge. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>that's pretty sweet. I thought that was cool, dude. I <v Speaker 2>actually think it's awesome. He comes up and I mean, <v Speaker 2>William Perry's gigantic, and Mango says, you make sure no <v Speaker 2>wrestlers come up here and charge us and try to <v Speaker 2>take over our business anymore. And this uh sadly short <v Speaker 2>lived because history shows that many of people come up <v Speaker 2>here and starts interrupting them. And I mean, if Scott <v Speaker 2>Hall had mosied his way up here and William Perry <v Speaker 2>was there, he should have mother f and bombed him <v Speaker 2>off the stage. That would have been awesome. <v Speaker 1>Dude. If William Perry just like tackled Scott Hall off <v Speaker 1>the stage, that would have been so sweet. <v Speaker 2>No one told him it was a work either. He <v Speaker 2>just fucking I'm not went some and don't get me <v Speaker 2>start on. If the bushwhackers would have show up here. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he would tackle him off the stage and then <v Speaker 1>they would stand up and do the walk all the <v Speaker 1>way out. <v Speaker 2>That door join them. Yeah. So again, like you said, <v Speaker 2>start off pretty heavy here. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I love that the commentary stage here in WCW is <v Speaker 1>like almost like a talk show stage, like you just <v Speaker 1>have no idea what's gonna happen or who's going to join, <v Speaker 1>Like it makes it a very versatile scene for them <v Speaker 1>to cut to. <v Speaker 2>So going back to the Observer real quick, just to <v Speaker 2>mention what Meltzer wrote about this for this is again <v Speaker 2>from the Observed December twenty sixth, nineteen ninety five. The <v Speaker 2>Wild nightro versus Raw Monday Night Wars produced another one <v Speaker 2>of wrestling's most memorable moments when Deborah mckelly formerly Alundra <v Speaker 2>Blaze came onto Nitro with the WWF Women's title belts <v Speaker 2>and threw it in the garbage can. The bombshell came <v Speaker 2>on the heels of a weak field with rumors and signings. <v Speaker 2>Medusa's WBF contract expired on December thirteenth, and was well <v Speaker 2>known within the WBF that she was negotiating with WCW <v Speaker 2>and her contract wasn't renewed, so tech she was fired. <v Speaker 2>Blaze wasn't the biggest name arriving with a new company <v Speaker 2>over the weekend. But it was the biggest shock. Reports <v Speaker 2>we received were that Vincent Maan, who found out about <v Speaker 2>it from a technician earlier in the roll show, was <v Speaker 2>stunned to the point that's why he seemed so tired <v Speaker 2>and instructed on the live show, what a fucking bad <v Speaker 2>play by WF to let her contract run out while <v Speaker 2>she has this belt. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean WWF at the time. You know, when <v Speaker 1>we think of WWF, we think of like the lockdown <v Speaker 1>contracts that they have, But in ninety five, at the time, <v Speaker 1>a lot of their deals were just handshakes, right, Like <v Speaker 1>sure there was there was really no reason for them <v Speaker 1>not to be handshakes up to that point because it <v Speaker 1>was just WWF, And if you weren't in WWF, you <v Speaker 1>go to Japan, or you could do like the NWAWCW <v Speaker 1>stuff or whatever the case is. But obviously with WCW <v Speaker 1>getting a ton of money and shit, like you had to. <v Speaker 2>Lock that shit down, and like hell yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, this was just in the middle of like some <v Speaker 1>real crazy shifts in the business, dude, And I think <v Speaker 1>this is like I love this. <v Speaker 2>I think this is like nuts I do too. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>like No, this is fucking kick ass everything. It's like, <v Speaker 2>obviously more people will talk about the fucking nWo one, right, <v Speaker 2>but this is massive. <v Speaker 1>I mean it's the most disrespectful shit ever. I mean, <v Speaker 1>like that is oh yeah, yeah, I mean that's that <v Speaker 1>was like a shoot deal Like that. <v Speaker 2>Was like super super dic. <v Speaker 1>I mean I loved it, like, yeah, fuck you, like <v Speaker 1>this is I'm firing every shot I can at you. <v Speaker 1>We're trying to take you out of business. Fuck off. <v Speaker 1>Like yeah, like that's just kind of where it was at. <v Speaker 2>You know, dude, I bet Bischoff had to be fucking <v Speaker 2>salivating over that opportunity, Like, I mean, that's a perfect <v Speaker 2>storm of them just fucking letting you know, it kind <v Speaker 2>of happened with the Luger thing too, if you look <v Speaker 2>about it, they just kind of let things go by <v Speaker 2>or maybe underneath their nose and didn't think they'd do <v Speaker 2>anything about it. Well, here's your fucking women's title getting <v Speaker 2>thrown in the trash on TV. This is what uh <v Speaker 2>Bischoff wanted Brett to do this. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean like yeah, yeah, Brett was like nah, hell. <v Speaker 2>And you know what, but Brett do and it would <v Speaker 2>have been sick as fuck. So Vince found out about <v Speaker 2>this from a technician on RAW, like some dude just <v Speaker 2>working at the show. Vince was walking by and he said, Yo, <v Speaker 2>Medusa's on this show. Huh who's that? Oh shit, who's that? <v Speaker 2>She's got the women's title? What's that? <v Speaker 1>Just never mind, it don't matter whatever, just keep going. <v Speaker 1>This is why this is happening, Vince. This is why <v Speaker 1>this is happening. <v Speaker 2>You know, nothing, nothing that's going on. <v Speaker 1>So apparently Bishoff like wanted her to destroy the belt, <v Speaker 1>not just like oh yeah she like the original idea <v Speaker 1>was like he wanted her to just destroy the fucking belt. <v Speaker 2>Kind of PCO style. He's fatched the TN belt on <v Speaker 2>fucking GCW with this ever and. <v Speaker 1>Then never showed up again and then they got rid <v Speaker 1>of the beat. Yeah, so yeah, from what I read, <v Speaker 1>Bischoff wanted her to destroy the belt, and then he <v Speaker 1>just said like, hey, if you have any ideas for <v Speaker 1>what you'd like to do with it, like I'm all <v Speaker 1>years and uh, Madusa said like throwing the belt away <v Speaker 1>would be the coolest deal. So that's what they went with. <v Speaker 2>That is pretty insulting. <v Speaker 1>I mean yeah, like destroying the belts one thing, throwing <v Speaker 1>it in the fucking trash can is like, god damn. <v Speaker 2>Even worth breaking, Like we're just disposing of. <v Speaker 1>This yeah, in the fucking side bin by the commentary table. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I don't give a fuck about this thing. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and then they just moved on. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I mean things started off pretty cool for this belt. <v Speaker 1>I mean they brought in a Cure Hawke to Bunakano. <v Speaker 1>Apparently Medusa had a big like deal with that, Like <v Speaker 1>she was the one suggesting people to bring over to <v Speaker 1>face her, because I think the idea was, like, who <v Speaker 1>can we bring over so you can have good matches <v Speaker 1>and like we don't have to do too much story <v Speaker 1>related stuff right now. So she brought up a few <v Speaker 1>names in Hotel and Kano or a couple of them. <v Speaker 1>You know, we watched some of the matches a very <v Speaker 1>long time ago, but we watched them. It was like <v Speaker 1>CUTI Suzuki and my Yumiozaki came over the tag match, yes, <v Speaker 1>and yeah, like that's pretty cool. But man, by nineteen <v Speaker 1>ninety seven, the division is pretty much dead. Medusa is <v Speaker 1>like focusing on other stuff. I mean, this could have <v Speaker 1>been pretty groundbreaking I think for American women's wrestling, Like <v Speaker 1>I definitely think it could have like really changed an era. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I mean I don't know with how much TVWCW had <v Speaker 1>and like how big of a moment this was. Maybe <v Speaker 1>they didn't know how big it was gonna be, or <v Speaker 1>maybe I don't know what they thought. Obviously, I think <v Speaker 1>the big deal with Bischoff just wanted to throw a <v Speaker 1>WWF Belton trash. Yeah, but yeah, I mean it really <v Speaker 1>could have kickstarted something really nuts. I think, like especially <v Speaker 1>in ninety five, like with how much TVWCW ends up having, <v Speaker 1>I mean between Nitro Thunder all their pay per views <v Speaker 1>Saturday night, fucking WCW Worldwide Champion. Yeah, I mean, there's <v Speaker 1>just so much television they have. Like it's kinda dumb <v Speaker 1>that it didn't turn into something huge, honestly. Yeah, it's just, <v Speaker 1>you know, I feel like it could have. <v Speaker 2>I think he made a great point though that he <v Speaker 2>you know, probably was only thinking of the belt and <v Speaker 2>not what we can do to capitalize off of that. <v Speaker 2>It's just okay, well, what can we do next week <v Speaker 2>to shit on the WF and not what can we <v Speaker 2>do with this to capitalize off of what we just did. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, So the first match here on Nitro is Rick <v Speaker 1>Flair versus Eddie Guerrero. <v Speaker 2>Nuts nuts man. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Eddie comes out here. Well, Eddie's already out there. <v Speaker 1>He has the single it tucked into the pants. Look, <v Speaker 1>he's got the ring jacket, dry mullet Eddie. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, the red and white kind of yees single it. <v Speaker 2>As you mentioned you, I believe that's what he wears <v Speaker 2>in one of the w CW games, might be World Tour. <v Speaker 1>I want to say, yeah, this is like early Eddie <v Speaker 1>Guerrero and super early Yeah, so Flair powders around for <v Speaker 1>a bit here. I do love that Eddie and Rick <v Speaker 1>like use their bodies and their reactions to sell the <v Speaker 1>story here. It's very larger than life, is the way <v Speaker 1>I look at it, you know, like being able to <v Speaker 1>tell the story to the guys in the way back <v Speaker 1>just by using your hands and stuff. Like Eddie was <v Speaker 1>specifically very good at playing to the nosebleeds, dude. <v Speaker 2>Eddie was great at that. Flair was great at that. <v Speaker 2>Hogan notoriously fucking I mean he Hogan might be the <v Speaker 2>pantomime fucking king right like yeah and that kind of shit. <v Speaker 2>But Eddie any super young here, I think he I <v Speaker 2>wanted to say, he's like twenty seven or twenty eight. <v Speaker 2>Flair is forty six here, which you know, like back then, <v Speaker 2>a forty six year old Rick Flair on TV, they <v Speaker 2>were saying, this guy is a decrepit dinosaur. Now in <v Speaker 2>twenty twenty six, a forty six year old Manaventer is <v Speaker 2>totally cool. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's what I'd saw the time work as this <v Speaker 1>moves on, you know, on ever said this, by the way, <v Speaker 1>the first singles match ever between Eddie and Rick Clair. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I think I read that, like Rick Flair and Eddie <v Speaker 1>were supposed to have a match at some point and <v Speaker 1>it just didn't happen. <v Speaker 2>I do remember this. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and then Eddie I think beat Brian Pillman or something, <v Speaker 1>so he got his match with Rick Flair, and I <v Speaker 1>sure I don't think they mentioned on commentary, but I <v Speaker 1>think I read it online. <v Speaker 2>No, they just talk about Eddie kind of being an <v Speaker 2>up and comer, and you know, they really put Eddie <v Speaker 2>over is like oh shit, like everyone kind of loves <v Speaker 2>this guy. He's impressive and like, you know, we everyone <v Speaker 2>sees something and let's see what he can do against <v Speaker 2>a guy like Flair. <v Speaker 1>Eddie whips Flair into the ropes here, he sells and <v Speaker 1>struts with his back to Eddie and Eddie drop kicks <v Speaker 1>him in the back. <v Speaker 2>Dude, Eddie drop kicks him the back and Flair legit <v Speaker 2>Flare flops like as an actual cell. <v Speaker 1>Eddie dropped toe holds Flair. He hair washes them, He <v Speaker 1>slap bumps them and then does Flaire's time. <v Speaker 2>Dude does the loud, does the strut. The crowd did <v Speaker 2>not fuck with that. <v Speaker 1>No, actually they they turned their backs to this match. <v Speaker 2>It felt like they did, like they were on Eddie's <v Speaker 2>side until he did that. It like, that's just how <v Speaker 2>much power Flair had. Man everywhere is fucking Horseman country. <v Speaker 2>You do not fuck with Rick Flair. You can, you <v Speaker 2>know you can show him up. You can be better <v Speaker 2>than them. Don't steal his shit. For Eddie is one <v Speaker 2>step ahead of Flair here. He pins them multiple times. <v Speaker 1>Flair kicks out every time until Flair takes over with <v Speaker 1>a chop and hits the knee out of the corner. <v Speaker 2>I love the knee out of the corner, dude. That's <v Speaker 2>that's fucking fantastic. And on commentary they're talking about I <v Speaker 2>guess what's going on now? One of many years that <v Speaker 2>you can run into them talking about this is potential <v Speaker 2>issues between Sting and Hiss and Sting and his best <v Speaker 2>friend a Lex Luger, uh, and they're talking, you know, <v Speaker 2>Sting may or may not join Jimmy Hart's group and <v Speaker 2>heen and of course thinks that he's going to, and <v Speaker 2>he's because Luger is in that group right now. And <v Speaker 2>so that's kind of the overarching thing going into Starcade <v Speaker 2>is who's side is everybody on? <v Speaker 1>Well, Eddie fights back. He hits a back body drop <v Speaker 1>here than a tornado DDT on Rick Flair. The tornado <v Speaker 1>DDT on Rick Flair threw me off. I expected to <v Speaker 1>see all the Flair bumps as usual, but him taking <v Speaker 1>a tornado DDT was not on the list of stuff here. <v Speaker 1>Eddie follows up here with Irana off the ropes for <v Speaker 1>a two, and the crowd is just not biting on this. <v Speaker 2>I know, man, he shoultn't a fuck with Flaire's hair <v Speaker 2>and shit, man like disrespecting a legend here though, I <v Speaker 2>will say, was fucking super surprised dude that Flair was <v Speaker 2>like cool to take that kind of urna because it <v Speaker 2>was like Eddie's you know, grab the hand, run up <v Speaker 2>the ropes Takeurana, which just seemed pretty nuts for ninety five. <v Speaker 1>Eddie goes to the top rope here, but Flair hits <v Speaker 1>the ropes and Eddie falls off the top all the <v Speaker 1>way to the floor on his feet. <v Speaker 2>Dude. Yeah, and he starts selling his knee. I mean, <v Speaker 2>if he was actually hurt here, I would not be surprised, <v Speaker 2>because going just straight down on your fucking feet from <v Speaker 2>the top is gnarly. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. The Macha man does it every match. <v Speaker 2>And that's way in the World Champion. It is what <v Speaker 2>it is. <v Speaker 1>With Eddie's knee, now compromise, Flair just starts beating his <v Speaker 1>ass until he locks in the figure four leg lock. <v Speaker 2>Dude, he uh. I mean on the outside, he's running <v Speaker 2>his fucking legging of the rail. He's running, kicking the <v Speaker 2>shit out of it, gets the figure four in and Flair, <v Speaker 2>of course, being the bastard that he is, climbs up <v Speaker 2>the ropes with his hands to add the damn pressure. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I love that he was using the ropes as pee <v Speaker 1>Weee is asking Eddie if he gives up, and Eddie <v Speaker 1>just defiantly screams no until he eventually passes out. <v Speaker 2>I thought that was awesome, and I could not believe <v Speaker 2>it that I am seeing a Rick Flair figure four <v Speaker 2>that ends in the pitfall. <v Speaker 1>Yep, we get the pinfall via figure four leg lock <v Speaker 1>and Rick Flair picks up the win against Eddie Guerrero. <v Speaker 2>I actually thought it was a cool finish. I like <v Speaker 2>that a lot. And uh Arn Anderson comes out here <v Speaker 2>with Flair, and Flair celebrates by yelling wu hitting the <v Speaker 2>ropes and then running and stomping Eddie Guerrero on the head. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Mean, Jen gets pissed off. He says, you better stop <v Speaker 1>or I'll stop this interview right now. <v Speaker 2>I thought that was fucking so awesome, dude. Yeah, mean <v Speaker 2>Jean's here to conduct an interview. He says, we're youre live, <v Speaker 2>We're with the two of the four Horsemen, and Flair <v Speaker 2>is putting the boots to Eddie. Hey, knock it off, <v Speaker 2>Rick Flair. I'll cut this interview down right now. Get <v Speaker 2>him off that cack, please, and he's talking to arm. <v Speaker 2>Flare is continuing to stop out Eddie, and Arn says, well, <v Speaker 2>I guess what you're trying to say is we're on <v Speaker 2>a roll. No, that's fucking not what I'm fucking saying, <v Speaker 2>are you kidding me? Stop kicking his ass. Arne says this, this <v Speaker 2>week it was Eddie, Last Saturday was Johnny B. Benden, <v Speaker 2>the next and last week was Paul Owendorf. So Arn <v Speaker 2>says Paul Ondorff, I respect you as being a hell <v Speaker 2>of a man in the wrestler, but the law of <v Speaker 2>physics says this, for every action, there is an opposite <v Speaker 2>and equal reaction, and he felt how the horsemen react <v Speaker 2>to situations. And I'm like, oh, they must have laid <v Speaker 2>this dude out. Not only did they lay him out, <v Speaker 2>they like kill this guy. They show last week where <v Speaker 2>there's like a little confrontation on the stage, Brian Pillman <v Speaker 2>slaps the shit out of Paul Orndorf, which leads to <v Speaker 2>mister Wonderful beating his ass, which then leads to Flare <v Speaker 2>and Arn, who are of course teaming with Pillman. Not <v Speaker 2>only picking Paul Orndorff off of Pilman, but then they <v Speaker 2>hit him with a fucking assistant pile driver off the stage. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. I love this because he actually does get hurt <v Speaker 1>in cannon on the show, and like, I love that <v Speaker 1>they protected the assistant pile driver deal here. <v Speaker 2>What a great move, dude, I mean Flair jumping. I <v Speaker 2>mean it's obviously not a high stage, but Flair using <v Speaker 2>the little, you know, raised platform to hit this was gnarly. <v Speaker 2>I yeah, what a what a great fucking move that is. <v Speaker 1>I also love that Brian Pillman started taut spamming after <v Speaker 1>they did the assistant pile driver at asshole. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, dude, hump in the air, dick. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, just being a shit stir is his whole point <v Speaker 1>of being in the four Horseman. <v Speaker 2>That's his whole career. After a while, right, so Arn says, <v Speaker 2>you jump one of us, and you jump all of us, <v Speaker 2>and Flair says, I guess what happened is and all <v Speaker 2>of a sudden, the task Master, Kevin Sullivan and Jimmy <v Speaker 2>Harder here and Flare Flaire turns around and looks at <v Speaker 2>him and says, devil, what is it? Dude? <v Speaker 1>I love the way he said it too, was so <v Speaker 1>much like they're just two friends talking. He says, devil, <v Speaker 1>what is it? <v Speaker 2>Man just regularly calls him devil. I love that, And <v Speaker 2>task Master says, hey, I respect both of you guys. <v Speaker 2>And Flair is like facing the task Master, who which <v Speaker 2>means his back is to hardcam and Jean Legit stops <v Speaker 2>everybody from talking and says, hey, there's the television cameras <v Speaker 2>over here. Rick, it has to like turn Flair to <v Speaker 2>the hard camp. I thought that was awesome. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, me too. I thought that was dope because. <v Speaker 2>It's Jean's interview segment and he knows this is for <v Speaker 2>TV and like Flair's got to face the camera, and <v Speaker 2>it didn't feel weird at all. That was cool. Taskmaster says, <v Speaker 2>you gotta loose cannon on you ship when Brian Pillman <v Speaker 2>and I don't care about Paul Ollendorf, that matters nothing <v Speaker 2>to me. But when Brian Pillman knocks the Dungeon of Doom, <v Speaker 2>he's knocking to every member of my team, and you <v Speaker 2>being the enforcer. He's point in, Arn, let me tell <v Speaker 2>you something. You better keep Pilman on a short leash <v Speaker 2>or all come looking for him. And Arn gives the <v Speaker 2>most who the fuck are you talking to look of <v Speaker 2>all time. <v Speaker 1>I mean, it is the most dad look I've ever seen. <v Speaker 2>Like looking down the like down the glasses look is. <v Speaker 1>Like it's like when your dad tells you something and <v Speaker 1>then you talk back, and then that's the reaction. You <v Speaker 1>just know I should have never said. <v Speaker 2>So. Flaire says, they relax, man, you me Jimmy hard <v Speaker 2>double A. We're brothers in fine, no problem man, and <v Speaker 2>Arne says, no, no, no, there's a problem. I said, <v Speaker 2>Oh fuck, he said, let me hammer this. Now. You <v Speaker 2>come looking for Pilman with the Dungeon Doom, you may <v Speaker 2>just find flar and Anderson. Arn Anderson is the coldest <v Speaker 2>motherfucker of all time. Dude, this guy is so cold. <v Speaker 2>He's got the tucked in shirt. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, like. <v Speaker 2>Super super dead it out. <v Speaker 1>But this is a stone. <v Speaker 2>Cold fucking killer right here. <v Speaker 1>Man like his sons. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. And Taskmaster says, let me tell you something. If <v Speaker 2>you don't keep it with short leash, this is w <v Speaker 2>c W and there ain't no allegiance anywhere. And Flair says, <v Speaker 2>you heard what your forcers said. Brother. I mean, what <v Speaker 2>a fucking great duo Flare and RN are. Man. They <v Speaker 2>super compliment each other like Flair's super braggadocious, and you <v Speaker 2>know limousines this that and the other. And arn Is <v Speaker 2>I mean, he'll kill you. He'll he'll chicken shit, but <v Speaker 2>he'll kill you. Unbelievable, unbelievable. Uh So Taskmaster and Jimmy <v Speaker 2>Hart leave and Flair says, the Horseman are reunited and <v Speaker 2>it feels so good. Whoo, and Jean says, well, thank <v Speaker 2>you ladies and gentlemen. Is there some unrest with the troops. <v Speaker 2>Hopefully we'll find out, because I think I believe it's <v Speaker 2>Dungeon and Dooman horseman had a little bit of a <v Speaker 2>fucking bond, probably over Hogan, uh and stinging the such. <v Speaker 2>That's right, yep, So I think that's, you know, kind <v Speaker 2>of where we're leading here. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Well, Bischoff, Heenan and Mango are here and they go <v Speaker 1>over what we've seen tonight until pit Bull Pittman comes <v Speaker 1>up and uh, he has something he wants to say. <v Speaker 2>I listen. I mean, he must have just been all <v Speaker 2>over the shit we talked about him. Last time we <v Speaker 2>talked about this RWCW Sergeant Craig Pittman was getting some <v Speaker 2>TV time. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, yeah, I mean he got a whole segment <v Speaker 1>here similar to Medusa at the star of the show. <v Speaker 2>You're right, Oh shit, it's Greg Pittman from the Army. <v Speaker 2>He drops his dog tags in the trash. The Army sucks. <v Speaker 2>So Pittman says, good day, gentlemen. I'm sorry to interrupt, <v Speaker 2>but I want to talk to you. I guess he, <v Speaker 2>you know, maybe not used to being on TV with <v Speaker 2>a mic for a very long time yet, because he <v Speaker 2>immediately starts talking to Bobby Heenan and he's like, the <v Speaker 2>mic is very low, and Bischoff pretty much has to <v Speaker 2>stop and say, all right now, hey, let me hold <v Speaker 2>that for you. Let me make sure people want to <v Speaker 2>hear you. And uh, Craig Pittman says, I've been doing <v Speaker 2>a lot of sneaking and peeking and come and find <v Speaker 2>out you were one of the best managers of all time. <v Speaker 2>I would like to ask you to manage the pit <v Speaker 2>bull in the world title and what do you have <v Speaker 2>to say? Bobby Heaton is like, what what the fuck? <v Speaker 2>You can't fuck me on the spot like that. But <v Speaker 2>Craig pittmans like in his face nuts, like probably snarling <v Speaker 2>like a pit bull. I guess that's why he is <v Speaker 2>a nickname. But he is like, you want me to <v Speaker 2>manage you. Craig Pitman says, that's affirmative. Eden says, well, sir, <v Speaker 2>I don't manage anymore. I'm a broadcast journalist, but you know, <v Speaker 2>I could probably put you onto somebody like a Jimmy Hart, <v Speaker 2>someone that's smart with intelligence. It can handle your finances. <v Speaker 2>Craig Pittman says, if I don't get help soon, I'm <v Speaker 2>not gonna take any prisoners. And he's got the craziest <v Speaker 2>eyes ever. This is absurd. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, if this was WCW two thousand, they should have <v Speaker 1>had Sergeant Craig Pittman at any time he comes on <v Speaker 1>the screen like backstage it does the Army March song <v Speaker 1>would have got. <v Speaker 2>Super Over super Over, you know, he would have just <v Speaker 2>been in the missmitson action though. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean they definitely had a room. <v Speaker 2>And we're gonna rename you. You are Brett the Pitman are. <v Speaker 1>Of course, Sergeant Craig Pittman is now Sergeant Craig Penis. <v Speaker 2>General long ass. <v Speaker 1>They're more fucking funny games here, all right. I'm trying <v Speaker 1>to be the world champion, So let me tell you <v Speaker 1>my new name, Penis. So we have Lex Luger versus <v Speaker 1>Marcus Alexander Bagwell next on Nitro. Lex Luger comes out <v Speaker 1>with Jimmy Hart, who is his manager at the time, <v Speaker 1>and Marcus Bagwell is already in the ring. <v Speaker 2>Yes, Marcus Bagwell if I guess maybe you don't know <v Speaker 2>this is buff Bagwell, but he's still in the American <v Speaker 2>Males and he's just a blue chipper here. Jimmy Hart, <v Speaker 2>of course, is out here with one of his many jackets. <v Speaker 2>This one just happens to have Lex Luger airbrushed on <v Speaker 2>the back of it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. His whole bag, his whole carry on is just jackets. <v Speaker 2>I think that is awesome. <v Speaker 1>That's old school. Yeah, dude, like he had carry on. Sure, <v Speaker 1>so what are these my jacket? Well, actually it's nineteen <v Speaker 1>ninety five. They're not checking anything. A matter of fact, sir, <v Speaker 1>just go ahead. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, well, why are you even stopping to talk to me. <v Speaker 2>I'm punching you ahead? Are you kidding me? <v Speaker 1>You don't need to check my bag? But I have <v Speaker 1>a bomb in there. I don't believe you. <v Speaker 2>He's on the megaphone in the middle of an airport, <v Speaker 2>nineteen ninety five, yelling I have a bomb. Yeah, can <v Speaker 2>you fucking get going? And we got to get on <v Speaker 2>this flight. <v Speaker 1>On the flight man. <v Speaker 2>Bischof says, we're counting on a starcade. When someone is <v Speaker 2>going to get a shot at the world title, is <v Speaker 2>going to be the giant or Rick Flair as champion. <v Speaker 2>Regardless of who wins the night, Flair has a shot <v Speaker 2>at the title next week, and uh, of course at <v Speaker 2>the at the pay per view it's going to be <v Speaker 2>I think it's is it sting, Flair and Luger in <v Speaker 2>a three way and the winner gets a world title shot. <v Speaker 2>A triangle match is what they called it. <v Speaker 1>I'm sorry, okay, not a triple dance. <v Speaker 2>No, not a triple dance, threeway dance, triple threat, anything <v Speaker 2>else you want to call. It is a triangle match, <v Speaker 2>which they have not explained the rules for. <v Speaker 1>There are no rules in the triangle. <v Speaker 2>Holy shit, that's what Pax said. <v Speaker 1>No, I think he said triangular delau bore. <v Speaker 2>Ah, so he did, and then they got avocado toes. <v Speaker 1>I love it, so yeah, Lex Luger and Marcus Bagwell, <v Speaker 1>of course these guys become tag team champions of w <v Speaker 1>CW in like four or five more years. <v Speaker 2>Oh my god, you're right. What the hell? <v Speaker 1>They have a legendary time as a tag team that <v Speaker 1>ends very very good. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, man. They are super excited to pass the torch <v Speaker 2>to the next up and coming team, and so much <v Speaker 2>so that they just yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I've always heard that buff Bagwell was very, very <v Speaker 1>very easy to work with and loved passing the. <v Speaker 2>Torch, notoriously Lex Luger as well, totally buff. Oh. Also <v Speaker 2>on commentary, the Heenan brings up that Hulk Hogan is <v Speaker 2>here tonight, and he says, we got to watch out <v Speaker 2>because why is Hogan here? Don't change that dial. Who <v Speaker 2>knows what that man's going to do, the egomaniac that <v Speaker 2>he is. So I believe Hogan is suspended right now <v Speaker 2>or he's on probation. I think maybe that's the term that. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>he's on probation, Yeah, for being too over brother, for. <v Speaker 1>Putting two monster trucks on our roof and then leaving them. <v Speaker 2>There, trying to kill the giant by knocking him off <v Speaker 2>a roof. <v Speaker 1>So Bagwell dropkicks Luger off the apron here and Jimmy <v Speaker 1>Hart with his megaphone is out there and les Luger's pissed. <v Speaker 1>He goes over to him and Jimmy Hart says, he <v Speaker 1>can't do that to you, Daddy, come on, come on, daddy. <v Speaker 2>All the entire time, especially when Scotty Riggs comes out here, <v Speaker 2>because Jimmy on the megaphone says Hey, referee, Wait, look <v Speaker 2>at referee, Hey, look him there. He can't be out here. <v Speaker 2>Come on, Scotty Riggs, who just refuses to stop pounding <v Speaker 2>on the mat as loud as fucking possible. <v Speaker 1>He's trying to get the crowd clapping. It's just not <v Speaker 1>happening here. <v Speaker 2>Ah, man, come on, they want to see the fucking rack? <v Speaker 2>Are you kidding me? So? <v Speaker 1>Bagwell hits two lines here, hits a huge flying forearm, <v Speaker 1>goes for a splash here, but Luger gets his knees <v Speaker 1>up and hits him with the power slam. <v Speaker 2>The patented Bagwell running spledge. <v Speaker 1>And Luger calls for the rack, and they get the rack. <v Speaker 2>They get the fucking rack. He racks the son of <v Speaker 2>a bitch, and that's it, foregone conclusion. The crowd not <v Speaker 2>as up for the rack as. <v Speaker 1>They should have been, though, I will say Luger didn't <v Speaker 1>give him the full manty. <v Speaker 2>You know, uh, maybe we're not even supposed to still, <v Speaker 2>you know, we're not super into Luga right now, right <v Speaker 2>because he's like a he could be a bad guy <v Speaker 2>because he's with Jimmy Hart, and we don't fuck with <v Speaker 2>Jimmy Hart. <v Speaker 1>Lighthouse brother, you don't get the full rack. <v Speaker 2>So Jimmy Hart gets on the apron to celebrate and says, <v Speaker 2>look at that baby, which is look at that baby <v Speaker 2>is looking like because it's huge. Mango says, that's one <v Speaker 2>of the most devastating submission holds in the WCW, and <v Speaker 2>Bobby Heenen says it's in the world, and Mango says, <v Speaker 2>WCW is the world, moron, and Hen says, I know <v Speaker 2>that moron. Heten and Manga vickering is very, very fun. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>So Lex Luger, the uncrowned w c W Champion of <v Speaker 1>the World. I guess he's gonna get that title shot <v Speaker 1>in that triangle deal and yeah, I mean he's been <v Speaker 1>trading in his uh humanity. Here he's teaming with Jimmy Hart, <v Speaker 1>you know what I mean, Like he's pissed, you know. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, So me and Jean uh is here to ask <v Speaker 2>Luger about this James and he uh. Jean says, you know, <v Speaker 2>Machra Man's gonna defend the title against the Giants eight <v Speaker 2>looks Luger. Jimmy Hart trots the match. You're gonna be <v Speaker 2>watching Jimmy arts. Lex Luga is on Crown WIP world champion, <v Speaker 2>and Jean says, I don't know about that. <v Speaker 1>What do you not know about? <v Speaker 2>Old ship? Sounds ridiculous. Jimmy gin know where the Hamburgers? <v Speaker 1>The Hamburgers, Baby, well, Jimmy, you know, damn well, they're <v Speaker 1>plentiful Hamburgers backstage. Damn daddy, what are we talking to <v Speaker 1>you for? Come on, Lex, there's Hamburgers. <v Speaker 2>All right, Benhan back to you. Well, Luger does say <v Speaker 2>he is the uncrowned heavyweight champion. He says, I want <v Speaker 2>to I want you to see a piece of footage <v Speaker 2>of exactly why I'm the uncrowned champion. We don't see that. <v Speaker 1>We don't see that ever, Yeah, don't need to. <v Speaker 2>What the fuck he could be lying? <v Speaker 1>James? <v Speaker 2>What the fuck he said? He he said, Macha Man <v Speaker 2>was in the rack and he had him submit and <v Speaker 2>then he gave up and then he pinned him. I <v Speaker 2>didn't see any of this. You just taking Lex Lucer's <v Speaker 2>word for it. <v Speaker 1>Got to you know, he's the uncrowned w CW champion <v Speaker 1>of the world. <v Speaker 2>I never thought of it like that, Yeah, right, like <v Speaker 2>thinking about it right after one of these mean gene <v Speaker 2>him burgers. <v Speaker 1>Baby, Oh they're good, daddy, put cheese on lex Lugers. <v Speaker 1>I don't want cheese. <v Speaker 2>Put any cheese on lex Luders, Daddy. <v Speaker 1>No carbs. <v Speaker 2>I'll put a pickle. <v Speaker 1>Gino And goddamn, I can't believe my eyes. We have <v Speaker 1>seen versus Earl Robert eton De Pussy up next. <v Speaker 2>Earl Pussy is up next. Aly shit, Yes, they showed <v Speaker 2>the up next for that and for some reason he <v Speaker 2>just needs to get something in right at the going <v Speaker 2>dark to commercial, they say that we're going to commercial <v Speaker 2>and he then says, tell. <v Speaker 1>You ho, yeah, it's like dissolving out. <v Speaker 2>All right, Fucking William Perry's gonna come over and start <v Speaker 2>kicking your ass. <v Speaker 1>They should have done that more like Mango, says William <v Speaker 1>Perry's like looking at him or something. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I know, I know. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>So next up we have Earl Robert Eaton with Jeeves <v Speaker 1>versus Sting. <v Speaker 2>Wow. I uh, I love Earl Robert. <v Speaker 1>He's the greatest day of my life. <v Speaker 2>Dude, Like this is fantastic. Earl ro Jeeves. First of all, <v Speaker 2>by the way, just in case you were wondering, Jeeves <v Speaker 2>at one point was Wildcat Willie. He was the guy <v Speaker 2>under the basket. <v Speaker 1>That's funny. Jeeves's British. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and yeah, Earl Robbie Eaton is is British and <v Speaker 2>he likes British nin right. Robert Imitch. <v Speaker 1>With Jeeves asked Jeeves about my. <v Speaker 2>So Bobby says, look at Jeeves, the gentleman of the <v Speaker 2>gentleman for the Earl of Eton and Bencham says he <v Speaker 2>looks like a cute tip. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, if you're not asking where the hell is Jeeves, <v Speaker 1>you're doing this all wrong. You know, like this is <v Speaker 1>one of the key factors to this gimmick. <v Speaker 2>He's you know, he even Jeeves this on England looks <v Speaker 2>like at all times everyone's gonna Jeeves. <v Speaker 1>Can anyone from England confer? <v Speaker 2>What did I deny? And we're gonna fucking yell at you? <v Speaker 2>So yeah, heenan uh says look at Jeeves, and Beschall <v Speaker 2>says he looks like a Q tip and he then <v Speaker 2>says they treat their people well in England. That's Jeeves, <v Speaker 2>and Benchell says, Jeeves the heck kind of almost says <v Speaker 2>like the rock Jeeves going to raw with Jeeves. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, in my brain, Earl Robert Eaton with Jeeves would <v Speaker 1>have had the same reaction as Chris Jericho making his <v Speaker 1>debut on Raw, it would have just been in the <v Speaker 1>same situation. So Earl Robert Eaton comes out with Jeeves <v Speaker 1>on the stage, goes to the mic, and the rock says, <v Speaker 1>who in the blue hell are you? He goes to talk. <v Speaker 1>It doesn't matter who you are. <v Speaker 2>What about my boy here? Yeah? <v Speaker 1>What what? What is your friend's name? <v Speaker 2>Well, that's, of course that's Jeeves. <v Speaker 1>Who Jeeves? Jeeves? Well, Jeeves, I'm gonna tell you what <v Speaker 1>to do with that hat. No, yeah, jeez, you take <v Speaker 1>that hat. Yeah, you canna take that. <v Speaker 2>He's just constantly readjusting his belt. <v Speaker 1>We're gonna take that hair right there. You're gonna turn that. <v Speaker 1>Some of his allies oil it up, Oil. <v Speaker 2>Oil Jeeves, oil the hat, a lot of instructions the rock. <v Speaker 1>Stick the hat straight up your kiddy, Yes with a rock. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>is cooking. <v Speaker 2>That would be great. If they give L Robert the <v Speaker 2>same kind of steez they give Jericho, that would have <v Speaker 2>changed history. <v Speaker 1>I think that's how it was supposed to go. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that sucks. The contracts get you every time. <v Speaker 1>M Yeah, very similar to the bush Whackers deal. So <v Speaker 1>Sting comes out and he says. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, dude, steak is super fired the funk up. He <v Speaker 2>looks fucking great too, by the way, and he's in <v Speaker 2>the deadlock colors. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I love this attire with the scorpion on the side. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's kick ass. <v Speaker 1>So Earl Robert Eton takes an arm drag and a <v Speaker 1>monkey flip from Sting, and I love that his default <v Speaker 1>stance is the arm behind the back England style. <v Speaker 2>That's the true telling of somebody that's from England. <v Speaker 1>It's the arm behind. So Sting gets distracted by the <v Speaker 1>crowd doing the wave or something. I don't know what <v Speaker 1>happened here. <v Speaker 2>I think they just fucking had had enough of this <v Speaker 2>match immediately, which is odd. They didn't do anything. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think they're just having some fun. You know, <v Speaker 1>it's probably been a long show. It's been about forty minutes. <v Speaker 2>Sting wasn't ignoring it though, he kind of was joining <v Speaker 2>them in on it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Sting gets distracted by the crowd doing the wave <v Speaker 1>and then Eaton uses his closed fist and cuts. <v Speaker 2>Them off, punches them in the face. <v Speaker 1>He uses a throat slice. I mean, just healing on <v Speaker 1>this dude, really. <v Speaker 2>Dude, Yeah, I thought he was like punching him in <v Speaker 2>his forehead or whatever. Yeah, punched him in the neck. <v Speaker 1>Sting fights up out of a hold, but Eating hits <v Speaker 1>him with the backbreaker. Bobby Eating goes up to the <v Speaker 1>top and he looks for the King Kong knee, but <v Speaker 1>Sting misses. I'm sorry he misses, Sting. <v Speaker 2>Yes, Sting misses his knee gets hit right on the <v Speaker 2>top of his head. Yeah, Bobby, I mean sorry, Robert. <v Speaker 2>I don't want to disrespect him. He uh King Kong <v Speaker 2>knee and missing has to feel like shit. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, man, Sting. He gets right up, he hits <v Speaker 1>the Stinger, splash locks into scorpion death lock, and he <v Speaker 1>picks up the win on earl Robert Eton. <v Speaker 2>Which is fucking bullshit. I mean, really stopping this guy's <v Speaker 2>momentum before he even gets a chance to start. I mean, <v Speaker 2>Jeeves better have an answer to this. Next week. He <v Speaker 2>should blow Sting's car up. <v Speaker 1>Oh wow, that would be nuts. <v Speaker 2>So, I mean, I think we should really escalate some <v Speaker 2>shit here. <v Speaker 1>So Sting, who has a world title deal at Starkad, <v Speaker 1>has his car blown up. <v Speaker 2>By geez. I mean, if you're gonna be the focal <v Speaker 2>point of the company, everybody's coming for you, you know, So jeez, yep. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, that's about That's about it that Geez has <v Speaker 1>a car bomb yeah with them, which is okay, that's <v Speaker 1>a ninety five. We make shit happen. Yeah, yeah, So <v Speaker 1>me and Gene is here with Sting, and Sting says <v Speaker 1>he will become a six time world champion at Star Kaid. <v Speaker 2>Dude, he is super fired up. He's a great promo. <v Speaker 2>First of all. I yeah, I mean he's already a <v Speaker 2>five time fucking champion. That is that feels like a lot. <v Speaker 2>But you know, I guess he has been around for <v Speaker 2>a minute. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he was the focal point at w CW for <v Speaker 1>a minute before they did Nitro. <v Speaker 2>Jene says, you know, uh, you know, all right, Eric <v Speaker 2>Bischoff is a very difficult time of year to be <v Speaker 2>talking about some business that's being conducted b CW. I'd <v Speaker 2>like to think about, you know, I think of horsing <v Speaker 2>down a couple of eggnogs with some friends, run a <v Speaker 2>warm fire. Anyways, Sting, I guess I gotta talk to. <v Speaker 1>You staying watch out for Jeeves. I heard he just <v Speaker 1>learned how to make a car bomb. What anyways, we <v Speaker 1>have Stark coming up here on Tuesday or Wednesday. <v Speaker 2>I don't remember it hardly doesn't know either. <v Speaker 1>What's the deal with star Kate? <v Speaker 2>Yes, Sting says, the entire world knows what he thinks <v Speaker 2>of Flair, but he will not forget what he did <v Speaker 2>to those you know, little kids out there. And uh, <v Speaker 2>there's somebody that keeps trying to raise their kid into <v Speaker 2>the air to block the hard camra shot. Fucking asshole, <v Speaker 2>and six says, but now my best friend, the total package. <v Speaker 2>You know, I'm a little myth mean Jeane, my best <v Speaker 2>friend's comments about going through all the town here in <v Speaker 2>WCW as if the Stingers not even here. All I <v Speaker 2>gotta say is I've been world heavyweight champion on five <v Speaker 2>different occasions. I would love to make it six, mean <v Speaker 2>Gene six times, and he fires up, the crowd fires up, <v Speaker 2>and Jean says, oh, thanks very much. Maybe Lex Luban's <v Speaker 2>thinking talking over some megnog over this holiday season. I'd <v Speaker 2>love to have some magnog right now and be drunk <v Speaker 2>and not be dalking his dig All right. <v Speaker 1>I don't know what's up with that guy, but uh, <v Speaker 1>we got the Giant versus Macho man up next. <v Speaker 2>The giant crazy graphic for these two. <v Speaker 1>Dude Yeah, I love how the Giant early Giant is <v Speaker 1>portrayed on this show. And I also love Threek. Every <v Speaker 1>time he makes his entrance, he's green. <v Speaker 2>He is super green, and he's green in the ring too, Brother. <v Speaker 1>Halloween Having nineteen ninety nine is available tomorrow at video <v Speaker 1>stores everywhere. <v Speaker 2>Holy Shit nineteen ninety nine. <v Speaker 1>Holy Fuck Halloween Have It nineteen ninety five is available <v Speaker 1>tomorrow at video stores everywhere. <v Speaker 2>Halloween Having nineteen ninety nine would fuck these dudes heads <v Speaker 2>up crazy nineteen ninety five. They were like, what the <v Speaker 2>fuck happened here? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? This was the Havoc with the monster trucks on <v Speaker 1>the roof. <v Speaker 2>Yes, yes, uh and the Yetay dude legendary. You can't <v Speaker 2>beat that fucking yet hey man. Yeah, no, shit is <v Speaker 2>fucking awesome. That's available at stores everywhere tomorrow. <v Speaker 1>As you said, the cover of the VHS here looks <v Speaker 1>like Hogan has three fingers on one of his hands. <v Speaker 2>That is fucking crazy. Whose fucking hands are these? <v Speaker 1>That's Hulk Hogan's yo. Are they supposed to be the <v Speaker 1>Giant's hands but on hul coagins? <v Speaker 2>Maybe that's what I was thinking. That's what it looks like. <v Speaker 2>But they also got fucking the Giant is Frankenstein on <v Speaker 2>the back doing the franking Stein pose. <v Speaker 1>Dude, Holy shit, Frankenstein. So now it's time for the <v Speaker 1>main event, The Giant with Kevin Sullivan and Jimmy Hart <v Speaker 1>versus Macho Man Randy Savage for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Giant comes out, like you said, all green lighting <v Speaker 2>with Jimmy Hart and the task Master, and Mango says, <v Speaker 2>two weasels and a big stinky giant, has it. <v Speaker 1>Gotta be stinky? <v Speaker 2>Well just look at him. <v Speaker 1>Randy Savage is the WCW champion, of course, and we <v Speaker 1>start the match off here and Giant is trying to <v Speaker 1>double act Savage constantly. <v Speaker 2>Dude, He's trying to cut the ring off because he's <v Speaker 2>so wide, and Macho Man is having to avoid these <v Speaker 2>and it's great. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Savage is able to move around and stop them. <v Speaker 2>Uh. <v Speaker 1>Savage jumps on the Giant's back and tries to choke <v Speaker 1>him out, so the Giant just throws them head over <v Speaker 1>heels to the ground. <v Speaker 2>He has a minute though, where he's like he's got <v Speaker 2>a choke in and giants like struggling. He's holding the <v Speaker 2>ropes he's having to kind of hold himself up with <v Speaker 2>the ropes. Jimmy Hart's on the floor with the megaphone <v Speaker 2>saying he's joking him. He's joking a rough and uh, <v Speaker 2>there's a second where Giant looks like he's in trouble, <v Speaker 2>but yeah, he just fucking grabs him throws them on <v Speaker 2>the floor. Commentary is speculating, by the way, where Hogan is, <v Speaker 2>because they brought him up earlier and now they're bringing <v Speaker 2>up him again. Manga said, Oh, he's probably backstage keeping <v Speaker 2>those dungeon of duds at Bay and he even says, Oh, <v Speaker 2>I think I saw him get here early. I think <v Speaker 2>he works here. He parks here from five to seven. <v Speaker 2>By the way, also tremendous we were talking about earlier. <v Speaker 2>Jimmy Hart now has a jacket with the Taskmaster on it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's pretty sweet man, like the Jackets airbrust Jackets man. <v Speaker 1>So Giant goes to talk to Jimmy Hart, but Savage <v Speaker 1>Drop kicks Giant from behind. He knocks Jimmy Hart off <v Speaker 1>the apron and shit gets started real quick. I mean, <v Speaker 1>from this point forward, it just kind of keeps moving. <v Speaker 1>So Giant whip Savages in the corner, elbows him in <v Speaker 1>the back of the head, body slams Savage, and then <v Speaker 1>bear hugs him in the center, and that's how we <v Speaker 1>go to commercial. We come back. <v Speaker 2>He definitely called for the choke slam and then did <v Speaker 2>the bear hug, so I'm guessing maybe he was just <v Speaker 2>a yeah, maybe not yet, dude. <v Speaker 1>So he come back. The Giant is still beating Macho <v Speaker 1>Man's ass. He signals for the choke slam, full goozle style. <v Speaker 1>I mean, he puts both hands around your neck. <v Speaker 2>He's fucking huge. I mean, obviously he doesn't get smaller, <v Speaker 2>but I don't know something because Macho Man is not <v Speaker 2>a small dude either, but he just is dwarfed by <v Speaker 2>the giant. <v Speaker 1>Well, the Macho Man scratches his fucking eyes. I don't <v Speaker 1>think so, buddy, dude. <v Speaker 2>Okay, not only does he scratch his eyes, James, he <v Speaker 2>gouges his eyes like for a whole minutes. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, he hands off. Don't fucking touch me like that, bitch. <v Speaker 1>So Savage hits two lines on the giant, but the <v Speaker 1>Giant doesn't fall down, and then the giant grabs Macho <v Speaker 1>Man and hits a sidewalk backbreaker for it. <v Speaker 2>Too fucking gets him and he that's it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I really liked here. <v Speaker 2>Where. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he goes for the pin here, he gets the <v Speaker 1>two and Macho Man doesn't kick out. He puts his <v Speaker 1>foot on the rope. <v Speaker 2>Foot on the ropes, and then Kevin Sullivan pushes his <v Speaker 2>foot off the rope and Giant says his foot wasn't <v Speaker 2>on the rope. <v Speaker 1>Giant and hits the ten thirty one and Macho Man <v Speaker 1>rolls all the way out to the floor, right into <v Speaker 1>the pizza and popcorn. <v Speaker 2>Oh, this is kind of nasty down here with the <v Speaker 2>sticky sky, like the Giant, they can't get away from <v Speaker 2>the snow. <v Speaker 1>The roll out from the Giant, and there's a whole Coolgan. <v Speaker 2>Fan out here, dude, So he throws a foam finger <v Speaker 2>at him. <v Speaker 1>Get that fucking thing out of here. New more foam fingers. <v Speaker 2>Wow, that's like really good. <v Speaker 1>Well, Giant goes out there, of course, and he picks <v Speaker 1>Macha Man up and he throws him over the top <v Speaker 1>rope from the floor into the ring. <v Speaker 2>That is so awesome, dude, what a fun I love <v Speaker 2>when he does that. <v Speaker 1>And then the Giant signals that he's going to head <v Speaker 1>to the top. <v Speaker 2>Rope this is insane. Like I was like, Okay, this <v Speaker 2>is gonna be dropkick because I've seen him do missile <v Speaker 2>dropkick from the top. I don't think he knew the <v Speaker 2>move that he was doing. What he went up there. <v Speaker 1>I thought he was gonna go for crossfire. It's time. <v Speaker 2>Oh he fucking does the scorpio fingers. <v Speaker 1>Please no, no, holy. <v Speaker 2>Shit, Jason Cross doesn't even here here, Please no, he <v Speaker 2>can't move. <v Speaker 1>So Giant goes up. Man, he gets to the top rope, <v Speaker 1>he gets I mean, this is fucking insane, guys like, <v Speaker 1>I don't mean like he gets to the top rope, <v Speaker 1>he crouches down and then goes the Giant goes to <v Speaker 1>the top rope, stands all the way up and then <v Speaker 1>does a diving splash. <v Speaker 2>And it's like he doesn't know how to control his <v Speaker 2>body in the air like this, so like he falls <v Speaker 2>so fast and his body is so like he's waving <v Speaker 2>like he's going for a fucking a dive in a pool. <v Speaker 2>He lands on the mat so hard because the macho <v Speaker 2>man moves. <v Speaker 1>Dude, it was unbelievable. Man. Every time I think I've <v Speaker 1>seen everything from the Giant, He's got one more thing. <v Speaker 2>That could have been his finish by the way. <v Speaker 1>I mean, he could have done anything as his fucking <v Speaker 1>finish crossfire. Ooh so Macho Man, Yeah, he moves out <v Speaker 1>of the way, the Giant splashes right into the mat, <v Speaker 1>and the Macho Man heads up immediately and hits his <v Speaker 1>own elbow drop for a two. <v Speaker 2>Dude, crowd is fucking fired up, by the way. First <v Speaker 2>of all that, I was like, wow, holy shit, and <v Speaker 2>then the kickout press style like he throws Macho Man <v Speaker 2>off of him. Then he gets up and drop kicks <v Speaker 2>Macho Man. The Giant is the best wrestler in nineteen <v Speaker 2>ninety five. <v Speaker 1>Giant drop kick. Dude, Wow it looked great too, Dude. Yes, <v Speaker 1>it was kick ass and I loved this. I mean <v Speaker 1>I love the back end here. What a fantastic match <v Speaker 1>this ended up being. Uh, Giant and Macho are now <v Speaker 1>on the outside. Giant goes for a supplex on the floor, <v Speaker 1>but Macho Man holds onto the ropes like literally mid soupplex, <v Speaker 1>holds onto the ropes and then finds himself back into <v Speaker 1>the ring and the Giant, because he was already doing <v Speaker 1>the souplex, ends up going the full distance and smacks <v Speaker 1>off the floor. <v Speaker 2>Dude. I I don't know if I've seen that before. <v Speaker 1>I love this, dude. I could not get enough of this. <v Speaker 1>I replayed it like three times. <v Speaker 2>Dude. It was cool as fuck because, yeah, by the way, <v Speaker 2>Giant pulled up the mat on the floor. By the way, <v Speaker 2>so this is going to the cement. Yeah, he picks <v Speaker 2>them up. Macho fucking army catches his legs and arms <v Speaker 2>on the ropes to stop himself. Giant just falls, makes <v Speaker 2>a horrible sound. But Giant is a freak of nature, <v Speaker 2>so he just gets up and gets back in the <v Speaker 2>ring and choke slams watching. <v Speaker 1>Man, dude, I love this. So the crowd gets up. <v Speaker 1>They're already going nuts. You can see them looking towards <v Speaker 1>the ramp, and uh, as this person is running out, <v Speaker 1>Giant decides he's gonna steal his finish said giants fell <v Speaker 1>leg drop. <v Speaker 2>Oh my god, dude, I love that. And that set <v Speaker 2>Hal Cogan off like I've never seen him set off before. <v Speaker 2>My move. <v Speaker 1>Brother, Come on, dude, the fucking I this not an <v Speaker 1>Augusta brother. Please not in Augusta. Dude. <v Speaker 2>You can do the Crossfire all you want, dude, just <v Speaker 2>don't do my new brother, please. I have never seen <v Speaker 2>a Haul Cogan run in like this ever before in <v Speaker 2>my life. This is unbelievable. <v Speaker 1>He stole my move. Fuck you brother. <v Speaker 2>Fucking gets in the ring. He has a chair and <v Speaker 2>Giant is covering macho man. Now after doing the Hogan <v Speaker 2>leg drop, Hogan bashes the Giant in the back with <v Speaker 2>the chair, which I was like, that's fucking you know, <v Speaker 2>crazy fucking Hogan grips the ref He pushes them in <v Speaker 2>the corner because the ref's like, what the fuck are <v Speaker 2>you doing? Hogan bumps Kevin Sullivan off the apron. He <v Speaker 2>turns back around. Hogan is throwing real chair shots for <v Speaker 2>the first time in his career. He hits the Giant <v Speaker 2>so hard that with his chair shot. Legit the best <v Speaker 2>chair shot I've seen him throw. Then Hogan turns around <v Speaker 2>and he decks a referee with the chair. Holy fucking shit, what. <v Speaker 1>My favorite hits the one he does to the Giant. <v Speaker 2>Next, dude, Yeah, he fucking how he like? Is it <v Speaker 2>the one where he flips him over the top rope? Yes? <v Speaker 1>I love that one. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, he hits Giant again. Then giants against the ropes. <v Speaker 2>Hogan runs out with the chair hits him in the back. <v Speaker 2>H fucking giant flips over the top rope, look gigantic <v Speaker 2>to it. <v Speaker 1>Whoa. <v Speaker 2>Then Mango and William fucking Perry the refrigerator. Are he <v Speaker 2>the oh. <v Speaker 1>Shit, Oh my god, here goes a hey club. <v Speaker 2>Dude. Mongo and fucking William Perry and CCW. <v Speaker 1>Would have been sick a dude, yeah, really. <v Speaker 2>So they're trying to stop Hogan. Hogan is outside, He's <v Speaker 2>fucking don't fucking touch me, Fridge, don't touch me, brother. <v Speaker 2>He's fucking trying to talk to Mongo and William Perry. <v Speaker 2>Then Hogan fucking hits a guy in a suit with <v Speaker 2>a chair in his stomach. William Perry falls over the guy. <v Speaker 2>Hogan Doug Dillinger. I don't think so. I thought I looked. <v Speaker 2>I don't think it was Oh. <v Speaker 1>I just assumed it was Doug Dillinger. Some guy with <v Speaker 1>a suit comes out, Hey, fuck you too, dude. He <v Speaker 1>did my moving augusta brother, you. <v Speaker 2>Don't understand, dude. Hogan is irate. He's grabs Mongo and <v Speaker 2>Perry and he's flipping out. He gets back in the <v Speaker 2>ring and he covers up macho man. I thought Hogan <v Speaker 2>was getting into the ring to pin him to try <v Speaker 2>the well, he hit you with my move, brother, I <v Speaker 2>might as well get the pit. This is fucking unbelievable. <v Speaker 2>What goes on next? Man like this entire promo, This <v Speaker 2>is outrageous. So Hogan, you know they're trying trying to <v Speaker 2>get the dust to settle here. Bischof says, we gotta <v Speaker 2>take a break. We're back from commercial. Mean Gene is <v Speaker 2>here now, because of course, mean Jan needs to get <v Speaker 2>the scoop. Jean's in the ring with Hogan to macho man. <v Speaker 2>Hogan's holding the chair still, and Jean says, you know, Giant, <v Speaker 2>you nailed him. You nailed part of the security people. <v Speaker 2>Hulk Hogan, you may have been off a bit more <v Speaker 2>than you can chew, because I personally think you wrest <v Speaker 2>the chance of being suspended. And Hogan says, well, you know, <v Speaker 2>there's a lot of people on probation, brother, that's just <v Speaker 2>like a general statement of America. Rick Flair gets a <v Speaker 2>tuttle match, the Giant gets a tuttle match. What about <v Speaker 2>Hulk Hogan? What about Raven? <v Speaker 1>What about Scotty, good brother Scotty. There's a lot of <v Speaker 1>people on probation, brother. The Bushwackers can't even come. <v Speaker 2>Here, dude, So Hogan says, like the macho man says, <v Speaker 2>what it is is what it is? He are you <v Speaker 2>fucking kidding me? <v Speaker 1>I didn't just hear you say that. Ogan. <v Speaker 2>You gotta be fucking kidding me right now. <v Speaker 1>Not here, not an Augustin. <v Speaker 2>He's in the aisle and he's being held back by <v Speaker 2>the Taskmaster and of course Sergeant Craig Pittman, and he's <v Speaker 2>flipping the fuck out. He's going ho again, Hogan. This <v Speaker 2>is so goddamn funny. The shot on the aisle is <v Speaker 2>pointing at the Giant and being hold back. He's flipping out. <v Speaker 2>Then all of a sudden, off camera Haulkokein runs into <v Speaker 2>the shot and runs up and hits the china, the head. <v Speaker 1>Of the chair. Dude, Yeah, no, clips out, hits the <v Speaker 1>chair and just keeps running. <v Speaker 2>Dude, fucking full running. He runs, hits Kevin Sullivan with <v Speaker 2>the chair, back to the Giant, back to Sullivan, back <v Speaker 2>to the Giant. He kills him with the fucking chair shot. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Hogan. Okay, So Hogan does this promo. You know <v Speaker 1>there's a lot of people of probation. Brother, He's still <v Speaker 1>talking and the Giant's fucking the giant is fucking on <v Speaker 1>the ramp and like he's yelling at him, and Hogan like, <v Speaker 1>I love the process. My brain went through. Hogan puts <v Speaker 1>the mic down, grabs the chair, run straight towards the <v Speaker 1>ramp the goddamn promo. <v Speaker 2>Brother, come here up. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, it's on site, dude. <v Speaker 2>He fucking annihilates the boat James, and then he runs <v Speaker 2>back to the ring with the chair to continue the interview. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, oh oh yeah, what the fuck are you doing? <v Speaker 1>Are you shitting me? <v Speaker 2>Not an augusta piece of shit? <v Speaker 1>Fuck you, Ogan. I have one song on my record <v Speaker 1>for you, Ogan. <v Speaker 2>And Hogan says, I got one thing to say, brother, <v Speaker 2>by Hoker, by Crook. It's going all going crazy in <v Speaker 2>the WCW. And like I said before, brother, you're the <v Speaker 2>heavyweight champion of the world. Boy, the macho man, and <v Speaker 2>I'm sick of this probation stuff. Just in America, my name, <v Speaker 2>Hulk Hogan is on the belt. Dude, the little MANIX <v Speaker 2>been training, saying the prayers and eating their vitamins. And <v Speaker 2>ain't no brother, you owe me a title shot, Macho <v Speaker 2>says Hulk Hogan about your title shot. First and foremost, <v Speaker 2>I have to defend the world's title against Rick Fleerer <v Speaker 2>next week on Nitro. Hogans, I wish you all the <v Speaker 2>look on the world. Brother, You and I've been around <v Speaker 2>the block a few times, and I know you can <v Speaker 2>beat Rick Flair. And the Macho does the little fingers <v Speaker 2>in the Hogan's yes, yes, and he says, and then <v Speaker 2>Eve and when I do, because I'm positive, thinker, I <v Speaker 2>have to get past arcade and then right after that <v Speaker 2>the match. The whole world, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Urinus and <v Speaker 2>anywhere else is waiting for Holk Hogan versus the Macho Man. <v Speaker 1>You got it? <v Speaker 2>And Gene is like, whoa, what the fuck? Hey, I <v Speaker 2>don't know anything about this. Were you talking about against <v Speaker 2>his brother? After the Macho Man beats Rick Flair and <v Speaker 2>after he survives a triangle match, Okamnix, would you like <v Speaker 2>to see Holk and Macho Man get it on? Crowd <v Speaker 2>of course cheers. That'd be awesome. They said, no, fuck that, <v Speaker 2>Oh shit tins on tens co Jima, Cojima. <v Speaker 1>That's right, brothers, do not forget about. <v Speaker 2>Oh Augusta gets it, brother, That's why you don't do <v Speaker 2>my movie here. <v Speaker 1>Kojima likes the bread tins on with the hair. Looks good? <v Speaker 2>How exciting, Jean says William Perry. That was gonna be <v Speaker 2>officials Mango security task message, John, you went through quite <v Speaker 2>a list tonight, Get says, well, let me tell you something, brother, <v Speaker 2>Steve Michaels refrigerator, Perry, I got a lot of respect <v Speaker 2>for you dudes on the football field. Do not make <v Speaker 2>the mistake of getting me and Macho Man's arena. <v Speaker 1>Brother. <v Speaker 2>We'll take you out brother, real fast. <v Speaker 1>Damn what Yeah, He's gonna go ahead and try to <v Speaker 1>get that match going. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Wow does that happen? <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 2>That is fucking nuts. That like whow? And as far <v Speaker 2>as I'm concerned, dude, Destiny's ettion stone. Good luck with <v Speaker 2>the nature boy brother, So watches I need a favor <v Speaker 2>from yulkster. Will you let me have this chair because <v Speaker 2>I have a feeling when I use it for memorabilia <v Speaker 2>with the autograph of the Giant and Kevin Sullivan on it, <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna make a fortune. Oh yeah, And Hogan and <v Speaker 2>Macha Man po's Hogan's music plays of course, and uh <v Speaker 2>we go to commentary here and Mango says, hey, what <v Speaker 2>the fuck? What do they fuck me? For He says, <v Speaker 2>I'm not jumping in his arena. I'm just trying to <v Speaker 2>save the man from himself. He's gonna be suspended, He's <v Speaker 2>not gonna have a chance to wrestle Macho Man. And <v Speaker 2>he even says he's a grown man. Let him make <v Speaker 2>his own mistakes. Last time I saw Refrigerator move like that, <v Speaker 2>did get handed him the ball or they opened the <v Speaker 2>buffet line. Stay in your seat, you'll feel a lot <v Speaker 2>better off. Yeah, Mango pluws him off, and Betcham said, Hey, <v Speaker 2>it's gonna get you in trouble. Perry here is that? <v Speaker 2>He says, Oh, I'll knock him out. So Bischoff talks <v Speaker 2>about next week on Nitro Machaman defensive title against nature Boy. <v Speaker 2>We'll have more talking about the World cuple Wrestling at <v Speaker 2>Star Kid with the Superstars, a WC to be facing <v Speaker 2>the Superstars in New Japan, the triangle match for a <v Speaker 2>shot the world title for Mango for a Refrigerator, Perry <v Speaker 2>for Bobby the Brainhen and Pepe can't forget you a <v Speaker 2>little guy. We'll see you next week for WCW Monday Nightro. <v Speaker 2>This is a great fucking show. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, I really enjoyed the show a lot. <v Speaker 2>Super easy to digest, like everything fucking made sense, a <v Speaker 2>lot of bill to starkate. Here. We got some fun matches. <v Speaker 2>I mean, the craziest Taull Coogan running I've ever witnessed <v Speaker 2>in my life run in and then run out and <v Speaker 2>then run back in. I've never seen such a thing. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>really fucking completely absurd. Giant and Macha Man had a <v Speaker 2>fun match before Hogan had to get involved. That's probably <v Speaker 2>the story of their lives. Yeah, man, I really enjoyed <v Speaker 2>this episode. Well that is it for WCW Monday Night. <v Speaker 2>I trowe December eighteenth, nineteen ninety five. And now it's <v Speaker 2>time for the Q and A. <v Speaker 1>Let's answer some fucking questions. All right, let's get into <v Speaker 1>the five dollar Patreon Q and A segment. <v Speaker 2>The questions and the answers. Well, if we did one <v Speaker 2>week of just asking the questions, and then we just <v Speaker 2>gave ourselves a week to answer. <v Speaker 1>Them, I like a week, that's. <v Speaker 2>A fucking pretty good amount of time. But it's been <v Speaker 2>on that on this show. Thankfully, we will give you <v Speaker 2>both the question and the answer. This is in the <v Speaker 2>five dollars and above here on our Patreon patreon dot com, <v Speaker 2>Size dead Luck PW. First question here from Diving Head, <v Speaker 2>but the long way, What have been some of the <v Speaker 2>other video games you guys have thought about playing for <v Speaker 2>the after show? Oh see, I wasn't sure if to <v Speaker 2>answer this, James, because I didn't know if we wanted <v Speaker 2>to give away anything yet. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, I mean you had a couple actually that <v Speaker 1>you had brought up because uh, I picked Halo and <v Speaker 1>then you had some that you brought up that I <v Speaker 1>never played. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'll float them off. I mean, so the one <v Speaker 2>that I there's a couple here, so I mean, obviously, <v Speaker 2>I the Halo one is fucking going awesome. I'm having <v Speaker 2>a super good time doing that. I imagine we'll get to <v Speaker 2>Halo two. I imagine that's you know, you. <v Speaker 1>Are gonna get wrecked and Halo two oh my god. <v Speaker 2>But but I'm starting on legendary on fucking Halo one. <v Speaker 2>So like that's at least got to give me some <v Speaker 2>you know, some of a better chance in Halo two. <v Speaker 1>No, I mean, Halo two is like Halo one kicked <v Speaker 1>into overdrive. You know, the Swords with the or the <v Speaker 1>Elites with the Swords. <v Speaker 2>Yes, sadly, the fucking invisible dudes. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Halo two you can grab the sword. Oh pretty sweet. <v Speaker 2>That sounds fucking kick ass dude, it's sick. Yeah. So <v Speaker 2>I also well, I mean, we wanted Macha to be <v Speaker 2>on that, but we found out that the fucking Halo <v Speaker 2>one and two fucking campaigns do not work with how <v Speaker 2>we would hope in them. They were only co ops. <v Speaker 2>So I know this mods and ship, but it would <v Speaker 2>be like, you know, split screen bullshit. <v Speaker 1>Macho will join us for Halo three. <v Speaker 2>Yes, there you go. Once we get to Halo three, <v Speaker 2>he'll be there. But he also I want him to <v Speaker 2>be there because I don't know how much. I think <v Speaker 2>he played a bit of it, and you've played it <v Speaker 2>obviously as well. But I think it's doing like a <v Speaker 2>leftfo Dead campaign or something like that. That might be <v Speaker 2>just an episode or two, but I love Left for <v Speaker 2>Dead one and two. I have so many hours in those. <v Speaker 2>I think that'd be cool. The big one though, that <v Speaker 2>i'd love. I don't know when we'll get to it <v Speaker 2>and win. That will be because it's you know, it's <v Speaker 2>it's it's you know, it'll take some time. But I <v Speaker 2>would love James to play metal Gear. He's not played <v Speaker 2>any of the Metal Gear games, and I think you <v Speaker 2>would not not only would you love it, it would <v Speaker 2>be fucking incredible to watch. <v Speaker 1>Did I am horrible stuff games? <v Speaker 2>Dude? But like that's it's like, uh, there's so like yeah, <v Speaker 2>I can already picture it, and I think like if <v Speaker 2>anyone knows metal Gear, they will probably all agree that <v Speaker 2>you playing it would be fantastic. So that's those are <v Speaker 2>the two that. <v Speaker 1>We've always hear about. <v Speaker 2>Metal Gear two, that's okay, So that's the first one <v Speaker 2>I played was Meddle Gear two, and then I went <v Speaker 2>back and I played more. But yeah, I mean, I <v Speaker 2>don't think anyone who even bad at eye if we <v Speaker 2>started with metal Gear two really because Metal Gear one's <v Speaker 2>like the top down one, but then they kind of <v Speaker 2>re released it with Twin Snakes, which I think is <v Speaker 2>like kind of a combination of the one and two <v Speaker 2>story that's the GameCube game. But you know, we'll we'll <v Speaker 2>figure it out when we get there. But yeah, Metal <v Speaker 2>Gears that's leftfore Dead and metal Gear the two that <v Speaker 2>was really like okay, like once we do Halo, like <v Speaker 2>maybe we'll navigate towards there. But that doesn't mean random <v Speaker 2>bullshit won't pop in between, you know, in and out <v Speaker 2>that like we did arc Raiders right, Like who knows <v Speaker 2>what will fucking come out? That will just. <v Speaker 1>Metal gear part of the stranding type genre. <v Speaker 2>I think stranding is like way heavier right walking talking <v Speaker 2>from what I understand you too. <v Speaker 1>Walking talking? Shut up a bit. <v Speaker 2>GiMA will kick your ass. You played your games. These <v Speaker 2>games we have a question here from Adam Priest is <v Speaker 2>like a labooboo to me. My boss told me that's <v Speaker 2>fucking nuts. By the way, my boss told me that <v Speaker 2>Marathon is Slash was getting redone and re released. Do <v Speaker 2>you guys have any thoughts? It sounded cool, but I <v Speaker 2>don't know shit. First, it's super nice that, like your <v Speaker 2>boss will asked you about something and you immediately said, oh, <v Speaker 2>I wonder what the boys think of this. That's pretty cool. Uh. <v Speaker 2>We played the I guess, uh the Server Slam they <v Speaker 2>called it. Yeah, we played the Server Slam one time <v Speaker 2>because work got in the way and two k got <v Speaker 2>in the way for a fucking macho. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, we got absolutely fucked when we played Marathon. Also, <v Speaker 1>those robots were kicking our ass. It wasn't even the people, <v Speaker 1>it was the fucking robots. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. It was fucking brutal. I and like I said, <v Speaker 2>I didn't get the fucking or like I was thinking, <v Speaker 2>I wanted to say, I don't think we played it <v Speaker 2>enough to really give a real opinion on it. I mean, <v Speaker 2>first impressions was like this is fine, Like this is okay, <v Speaker 2>I can I'm sure the more we got into it <v Speaker 2>and figured out this that and the other about like <v Speaker 2>the weapons and the cores and shit like that, we could, <v Speaker 2>you know, probably have a pretty good time with it. <v Speaker 2>But really I was playing and I just was thinking <v Speaker 2>about arc Raders the whole time, and I was like, <v Speaker 2>I just want to go play arc Raders instead. Dude. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Also, Marathon release right in the middle of like <v Speaker 1>a ton of releases like MLB the show's coming out, <v Speaker 1>Kanami just randomly shadow dropped like an e baseball game on. <v Speaker 2>Ste which is fucking pretty fun to actually. <v Speaker 1>Thankfully, w B two K like just took yourself out <v Speaker 1>of the conversation by locking up Andre the Giant find <v Speaker 1>a tatal Win battle Pass. <v Speaker 2>Sucked away a lot of our friends for a good week. <v Speaker 1>Now, Dude, I know they were raw Dog and Showcase man, <v Speaker 1>they couldn't get enough. Dude, that shit was so funny <v Speaker 1>when I looked and I saw Andre the Giant and like, <v Speaker 1>NXT Championship, What the hell? This isn't just in the game, <v Speaker 1>Like the battle pass is one thing, but the NXT titles. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, man, they just threw a bunch of dude, six <v Speaker 2>fucking seasons that holy shit. In no way. Yes, Marathon <v Speaker 2>was cool. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, yeah tell your boss. Man, Like, I don't <v Speaker 1>think it's anything like the original Marathon, but no, no, yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 1>it's not really like that. But if you have patience, <v Speaker 1>I bet you it's good. I mean, like when Destiny <v Speaker 1>first came out. You know, I was also confused at <v Speaker 1>the time. I was like, you know, is Bungee gonna <v Speaker 1>be able to make this work? And uh, I mean <v Speaker 1>Destiny is super fucking popular, man, and uh yeah, I <v Speaker 1>mean it'll be interested to see if they can do <v Speaker 1>the same thing with Marathon. I didn't think our Graders <v Speaker 1>was gonna get popular. Like when we first played out, <v Speaker 1>I was like, that's all right, Like I remember we <v Speaker 1>had the same fucking reaction of Marathon. <v Speaker 2>Did you're right? You're right? <v Speaker 1>Like we played arc Raiders and like we were like, man, yeah, <v Speaker 1>well maybe we'll come back. <v Speaker 2>To deal bitch. <v Speaker 1>Legit, Yeah, dude, it legit. Like we took a second <v Speaker 1>and we were like, let's give it one more go, <v Speaker 1>because we were like, yeah, I don't know if we <v Speaker 1>were too into this, but there might be something. And <v Speaker 1>now we have like two hundred hours in arc raders. <v Speaker 2>Yeah dude, I mean you you might be more than <v Speaker 2>that because I fucking couldn't play for a week because <v Speaker 2>I was fucking shingled out or whatever. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, that's true. <v Speaker 2>Even I have more. But I mean we also were like, <v Speaker 2>because Battlefield just dropped, they were like, oh, yeah, we <v Speaker 2>fucking let's fucking you know, I'm super excited for Battlefield. <v Speaker 2>That's all we were talking about. And arcreated drops in <v Speaker 2>the first one, like you yeah, like we but saying <v Speaker 2>that we didn't get to do the second round of <v Speaker 2>marathon to really get, you know, figure out. <v Speaker 1>I know, that's what I'm saying, Like there might be <v Speaker 1>something there. <v Speaker 2>Man, all right, we'll we'll fucking play it again and <v Speaker 2>then we'll update everybody on what what what what we think? <v Speaker 2>Hitting it from the back Origami style asks is it <v Speaker 2>true that you tend to pick newer patron questions for <v Speaker 2>the Q and A It happened when I first joined. <v Speaker 2>I've noticed it for other people. <v Speaker 1>Well, is that like a long standing rumor? <v Speaker 2>Dude? Okay, that's why I wanted to bring it up. <v Speaker 2>Who the fuck is talking about this and where? No, dude, <v Speaker 2>I don't know when the fuck anybody joined, Like, it <v Speaker 2>doesn't show that, like unless I go into your account. <v Speaker 1>I think it shows when you join Patreon though, like <v Speaker 1>if you click their name, it shows when like you <v Speaker 1>joined the Patreon Like yeah, but no, man, no, just <v Speaker 1>pick fucking whatever. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, dude, No, if I'm going if I'm going through <v Speaker 2>the Q and A thread, I'm doing my best to <v Speaker 2>not click anything because I have to load comments six <v Speaker 2>d times and if I click one thing, it refreshes <v Speaker 2>the page on punch of my monitor because then I <v Speaker 2>got to do it again. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. I mean there's so many problems with it sometimes, <v Speaker 1>like try to copy and paste a fucking name from <v Speaker 1>the Patreon. <v Speaker 2>And it bullshit. Yeah, but no, sorry, I wish I <v Speaker 2>could say that. Uh, you know, there's I love that <v Speaker 2>there's a conspiracy though, but no, we just pick whatever <v Speaker 2>the fuck it looks good to us. Sorry, sorry that <v Speaker 2>we didn't pick yours or did I'm not sure which <v Speaker 2>what do you like there, Dad? Why did you name <v Speaker 2>the couch Dick? That's my Chase Richardson, Why do I <v Speaker 2>fucking like I gotta I'm gonna start fucking picking questions <v Speaker 2>based off names I like instead of the rest of <v Speaker 2>this shit. Man. I like that. <v Speaker 1>Like there's almost a combination between Dick the Cox Johnson <v Speaker 1>and Chase Richardson. Now there's like a synergy. <v Speaker 2>That's like Vader and Bambam. <v Speaker 1>This means a lot to all of us. <v Speaker 2>Well, they ask, how do you guys settle on the <v Speaker 2>name of the Long Way in both name and concept? <v Speaker 2>The name I legit think we both like had in <v Speaker 2>our head already before we because we were talking about <v Speaker 2>changing the name of SGH. We were I mean, we <v Speaker 2>just wanted to just fucking start doing a bunch of <v Speaker 2>new ship. We were like, oh fucking let's just fucking <v Speaker 2>give it a go, Like why not? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Well, SGH originally was both right, it was SGH <v Speaker 1>live correct and behind the scenes kind of just called <v Speaker 1>it SGH the Long Way anyways, And that was way <v Speaker 1>back then, right, you know, and like we changed it. <v Speaker 1>I think Johnny came up with the watch this name <v Speaker 1>mm hm. That was awesome, what a great name for <v Speaker 1>that series. And like we came to the SGH deal <v Speaker 1>and it's like the same thing with the with the discord. <v Speaker 1>Like I saw people were like, what the hell is <v Speaker 1>the get a job to your on? <v Speaker 2>I'm like, God, that's so old. <v Speaker 1>It's like five or six years ago. We made that joke, <v Speaker 1>you know, and like anyone that listens now, they're like, <v Speaker 1>what the fuck is this? What do you mean the job? <v Speaker 1>And it's like, oh, it's I'm sorry, it's joke. We <v Speaker 1>said once six years ago, sorry about that, and like yeah. <v Speaker 1>So it's like, you know, people join the Patreon now <v Speaker 1>they're like, what's SGH. Oh it's you know, when Vampiro <v Speaker 1>farted on the mic, it was like, well, what if <v Speaker 1>we came up with something that like, but like yeah, <v Speaker 1>it was more us right, and the Long Way of <v Speaker 1>course fits it perfectly. It's literally watched this the long way? <v Speaker 2>So yeah, right, yeah, right, that's yeah concept. I pretty <v Speaker 2>I think that was you. I think you said, hey, <v Speaker 2>like it'd be cool if we just brought somebody on, <v Speaker 2>like to fucking watch the show, and I think it'd <v Speaker 2>evolved from there from like, hey, let's bring somebody else <v Speaker 2>onto Hey, why don't they also like have a say <v Speaker 2>in what we're watching, like it's something that like means <v Speaker 2>something to them. And I was like, Oh, that's fucking <v Speaker 2>that's really cool because I mean one, I mean that <v Speaker 2>that that brought stuff up like me and you make, <v Speaker 2>you know, all the decisions and so putting in the <v Speaker 2>hands of somebody else's is just exciting. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think that. Uh, I think it turned out <v Speaker 1>pretty cool. Yeah, it really just came together because we <v Speaker 1>wanted to do something new and fresh. We'd kind of <v Speaker 1>been doing the same thing for quite a while and <v Speaker 1>it was like, how can we just how can we <v Speaker 1>shake things up and like also kind of keep it <v Speaker 1>in the same vein of what we were already doing, <v Speaker 1>and like that just seemed like a super simple way to, <v Speaker 1>uh get out of our comfort zone. Sometimes I think <v Speaker 1>it's easy to get in our comfort zone and what <v Speaker 1>we pick or what we like or what we end <v Speaker 1>up doing. And uh, yeah, I think bringing someone on <v Speaker 1>like Dan Reiker was the first guest for The Long Way, <v Speaker 1>and he was fun man, he fit in perfect, he <v Speaker 1>picked a funny ass show you Morris changed his name <v Speaker 1>to Captain Bonner, Like what are the odds of that <v Speaker 1>and uh yeah, I think it turned out Gray. I'm <v Speaker 1>super happy with it. <v Speaker 2>Dude. Yeah, speaking of that. By the way, for those <v Speaker 2>that watched the first Long Way with Dan record, he <v Speaker 2>uh he actually got something in the mail this week <v Speaker 2>because we uh we we talked about it. You know, <v Speaker 2>the the Buff Bagwell poster with Buff Bagwell on the lips, <v Speaker 2>and we were we were looking on eBay and we <v Speaker 2>saw that somebody was selling like a big fucking poster. <v Speaker 2>I don't know if it was from magazine or where <v Speaker 2>they got this. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, where did they get that? <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>It's a great ndition. <v Speaker 2>I should look at the description. Maybe he said where <v Speaker 2>it was from. But we saw it and I mean <v Speaker 2>it was like forty bucks and we were like, all right, <v Speaker 2>we gotta get this. He right then, Uh, you set <v Speaker 2>us a picture and it's if you watch any more <v Speaker 2>recent Gime Bump stuff, like in the next week or so, <v Speaker 2>like there's a video. Uh he played Marathon with the <v Speaker 2>boys and you can see it in the background of <v Speaker 2>his thing. It's just this big fucking Buff Bagwell poster. Uh. <v Speaker 2>So that was that's from that. So you can go <v Speaker 2>go make sure you check that out. But yeah, no, <v Speaker 2>Dan Record was a great first guest and uh yeah, <v Speaker 2>just you know, and we also were like, oh, fuck, <v Speaker 2>like you know, the patron's help usually pick SGH, so <v Speaker 2>like what can we do to kind of, you know, <v Speaker 2>fucking have a lend a hand, Like, hey, we're not <v Speaker 2>taking everything away from you guys. And we had already <v Speaker 2>discussed like okay, well we'll turn and watch this, like <v Speaker 2>we'll sort of suggestion thing for that monthly so we <v Speaker 2>can still hear from everybody. And and I think that <v Speaker 2>also worked out because we've got a lot of fucking <v Speaker 2>we have a. <v Speaker 1>Ton of matches that wouldn't even thought about from watch this. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, it's pretty good. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, no, it's it's it's sweet. So we're always <v Speaker 2>you know, we're we're you know, when DPW went away, <v Speaker 2>we were like, god, we need to do new shit. <v Speaker 2>We were begging to create new things. That's you know, <v Speaker 2>just happen. Who knows, who knows what's next? You know. Hey, <v Speaker 2>Speaking of the Long Way, tread cutter two one three. <v Speaker 2>As with the start of the Long Way being the <v Speaker 2>wrestling watch lungs, are the plans to continue with movie <v Speaker 2>or vintage UFC watch lungs as a separate thing, and <v Speaker 2>I wanted to bring this up because I think there <v Speaker 2>might have been a misunderstanding whether that was my fault <v Speaker 2>or not to apologize. But the Long Way is not <v Speaker 2>just the wrestling thing. Obviously a lot of things we <v Speaker 2>do are wrestling adjacent but or primary wrestling. But no, <v Speaker 2>the Long Way is not meant to be just wrestling. <v Speaker 2>It's it just happened to start with wrestling and all that. <v Speaker 2>But no, there's there's no reason that someone won't pick <v Speaker 2>a fucking movie or you know, UFC or anything like that. Like, <v Speaker 2>I mean, they could pick fucking SpongeBob movie for all <v Speaker 2>week care. Like it's it's not just wrestling, so don't <v Speaker 2>don't worry. Uh, there's it'll. I imagine with the guests <v Speaker 2>that we have lined up here that there will be <v Speaker 2>more than just wrestling. I actually here's a spoiler, at <v Speaker 2>least a halfway. I know for a fact there's gonna <v Speaker 2>be some non wrestling ones coming up. So nothing to <v Speaker 2>worry about. <v Speaker 1>There. <v Speaker 2>That one Key and Peel skit you haven't seen, asks James. <v Speaker 2>Do you play franchise modes in sports games? And if so, <v Speaker 2>do you go for your IRL favorites or do you <v Speaker 2>go for what seems to be the most interesting teams <v Speaker 2>at the time. <v Speaker 1>Oh uh, so I don't really play the newer sports games. <v Speaker 1>I bought them for a minute, like I bought the <v Speaker 1>New College Football the first time it came out, and <v Speaker 1>I enjoyed that. <v Speaker 2>Oh yes, I remember. <v Speaker 1>But I emulate a lot of sports games too, and <v Speaker 1>I just play those. So like, my favorite sports game, <v Speaker 1>the one that I grew up with a lot was <v Speaker 1>one was the Madden with Michael Vick. I think it <v Speaker 1>was four with Michael Vick on it. Okay, that was <v Speaker 1>the Madden I grew up with the most that played <v Speaker 1>a ton because Michael Vick you could literally run out <v Speaker 1>the gun and then run backwards and sprint around the <v Speaker 1>entire field and still go ninety nine yards for the touchdown. <v Speaker 1>It was unreal how fast he was. Not speed nine <v Speaker 1>one agility now you're not everything. It was just nuts, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>he was. He was like a video game legend. NFL <v Speaker 1>two K five was the one that I played the most. <v Speaker 1>That's the ones where I would do franchise modes where <v Speaker 1>I'd make all my friends and make our team and <v Speaker 1>then like go in and play as as my friends <v Speaker 1>from school on franchise and try to win the super <v Speaker 1>Bowl and stuff like that. Recently, I've been doing a <v Speaker 1>lot of NFL two K five like rebuilds. I'm not <v Speaker 1>sure how to say his name. I watched him on YouTube. <v Speaker 1>D y n c chi s E is his name. <v Speaker 1>I'm sure it has something to do with Dynasty or <v Speaker 1>something like that. But he does rebuilds on NFL two <v Speaker 1>K five, and like I would watch them when I <v Speaker 1>was eating, you know, just putting up YouTube and watching those, <v Speaker 1>and I was like, Wow, this is super interesting. Like <v Speaker 1>he's able to take these teams and like the game <v Speaker 1>is so flexible in what you can do and like <v Speaker 1>has so many quirks to it, and I was like, man, <v Speaker 1>maybe I should look into this too. So offline, I <v Speaker 1>mean I just started doing. I would have like a <v Speaker 1>notepad where like I have my wins and losses with <v Speaker 1>teams and like how long it takes me to get <v Speaker 1>to the playoffs, how many playoffs bids we have? How <v Speaker 1>many super Bowls we have? Yeah, and stuff, and like <v Speaker 1>I'll do the franchise until that team is rebuilt and <v Speaker 1>like gets to the super Bowl or gets to the <v Speaker 1>playoffs three times. So yeah, that that dude on YouTube <v Speaker 1>like inspired me to check that out, and I actually, <v Speaker 1>like funny enough, I do that a lot, dude. <v Speaker 2>I mean you were, I mean the only people that <v Speaker 2>ever were hearing about it. Like you know, I constantly <v Speaker 2>yell at you that you should record this show just <v Speaker 2>so I can fucking see it. But yeah, me, Macho <v Speaker 2>and Chris are just getting constant updates about these fucking seasons. <v Speaker 1>It'll be like and like I did like a Texans <v Speaker 1>rebuild and I messaged him at like three am and <v Speaker 1>I say, Carson Palmer was bringing this game back. I <v Speaker 1>forgot to tell you I got Carson Palmer on the Texans. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>And I'm like, look, this is our last four seasons <v Speaker 1>win loss records, and like we're on the fifth season <v Speaker 1>here and we're about to make the super Bowl and <v Speaker 1>Peyton Mann is on. <v Speaker 2>The Bears's thankfully. That's the good thing about our group <v Speaker 2>is that, like I'm like you, it could be randable <v Speaker 2>shit like that, and we're locked in like oh shit, okay, <v Speaker 2>well what happened. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, this shit matters, And I'll send like screenshots of <v Speaker 1>like yeah results stats, yeah yeah yeah. So like when <v Speaker 1>it comes to like franchise, if I'm actually playing the game. Yes, <v Speaker 1>I plays the Panthers most of the time, and then <v Speaker 1>I try to rebuild off that franchise because like, uh, <v Speaker 1>usually in NFL two K five, like the Panthers have <v Speaker 1>like you know, they still have Musi Muhammad, they have <v Speaker 1>Steve Smith, and you know Jake de Lohman. You know, <v Speaker 1>Sean Foster becomes like ninety something overall, ninety nine or <v Speaker 1>something in that game for some reason. I don't know why. <v Speaker 1>I mean, Sean Foster a fucking beast. You know. I <v Speaker 1>love to Sean Foster, but like also like holy shit, <v Speaker 1>you know what I mean, Like that's just nuts. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>trying to make shit happen with the Panthers. If I'm simming, <v Speaker 1>then I'll play as any fucking team. I don't care. <v Speaker 1>I do try to get Musu Muhammad or like I've <v Speaker 1>talked about for like An Kwon Bold and Larry Fitzgerald up. Yeah, dude, yeah, <v Speaker 1>because well Larry Fitzgerald in NFL two K five. For <v Speaker 1>people who don't know, like, if you play franchise Larry <v Speaker 1>Fitzgerald most of the time, like ninety percent of the <v Speaker 1>fucking time, he'll get to like ninety nine overall. <v Speaker 2>That's like just. <v Speaker 1>Just straight up because like the works. Yeah, there's quarts <v Speaker 1>to it, right, Like it doesn't matter how he actually performs. <v Speaker 1>He could have seven hundred catching yard seasons. It doesn't <v Speaker 1>matter his potential stats. Like a little hidden deal, like <v Speaker 1>he'll still get to like ninety one overall. Say, with <v Speaker 1>Sean Foster, I could like never play him. Ever, I <v Speaker 1>could play Stephen Davis the whole time and to shun, <v Speaker 1>Foster will still get to ninety nine overall and like crazy, dude, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>it's nuts. And like knowing that, like I didn't know <v Speaker 1>that when I started, right, Like knowing that, I'll make <v Speaker 1>sure to like not abuse that because like I by <v Speaker 1>this point I kind of know, like okay, yeah, right, <v Speaker 1>like Eli Manning gets to this all, you know, Deshaun <v Speaker 1>Foster gets this overall, So like I try not to <v Speaker 1>abuse that. Same with the draft, there's like some ship <v Speaker 1>with the draft where like in the first round, the <v Speaker 1>computer only picks like tackles, d ns uh quarterback like <v Speaker 1>that you like you could you could pick the you <v Speaker 1>could pick the best. You could choose the draft picks <v Speaker 1>and get like the best guards, the best wide receivers, <v Speaker 1>the best corners, the best safety. Yeah, like you're playing <v Speaker 1>pure like yet now like back when I first started, <v Speaker 1>I didn't. I didn't know that. So I was like, oh, wow, <v Speaker 1>they never picked wide receiver. I'm gonna pick wide receiver. <v Speaker 1>And it wasn't until I watched more of H D <v Speaker 1>Y N S C H. I. I'm sorry, I wish <v Speaker 1>I did how to pronounce your name. I apologize, buddy, <v Speaker 1>but yeah, he he like explained the quirks and I <v Speaker 1>so I was like, okay, well, I'm not going to try, <v Speaker 1>you know, I'll just draft with the computer drafts and <v Speaker 1>try to get what I can get there. Yeah, but no, yeah, <v Speaker 1>great question. I don't ever get to talk about this stuff, <v Speaker 1>so like that's awesome. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>About the only person who hears me talk about is <v Speaker 1>Johnny him, which I enjoy. <v Speaker 2>Last question here from Victor Mendoza. What's your go to <v Speaker 2>gas station snack? My friend told me he goes straight <v Speaker 2>to the big on Nerds candy, and I called him <v Speaker 2>a freak. Wow, that's uh one. I like Nerds candy, <v Speaker 2>so I won't. I'm I'm with your friends. <v Speaker 1>Got me on the Nerds candy, the Nerds. <v Speaker 2>The Nerds rope at, Nerds clusters. <v Speaker 1>Oh, the clusters is what it was, right, Yeah. <v Speaker 2>The fucking nerd clusters. That was bad. For a second, <v Speaker 2>I apologize for doing that to you, because those are <v Speaker 2>well Okay, So the problem was is that deep to <v Speaker 2>be weekend? I would say, for like you know, four <v Speaker 2>or five days, we would go to fucking sheets and <v Speaker 2>I would load up on bullshit because I know it <v Speaker 2>was going to be there for a while. But more <v Speaker 2>times than not, I wasn't eating all of it. So <v Speaker 2>just all my fucking snacks and chips I would just <v Speaker 2>leave for James. He would I mean something like. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, like are these peanuts shoes here good? <v Speaker 2>The answers yes, the answers yes, they are good. Wow. <v Speaker 1>I'm like, not a big I don't. I don't eat <v Speaker 1>sugar a lot, so like whoops, yeah right, So like <v Speaker 1>I had those, I was like, wow, what the hell <v Speaker 1>is this? Yeah, which is weird. I got super fat <v Speaker 1>and I don't eat sugar at all. I just like <v Speaker 1>fucking food. Just how life is sometimes. <v Speaker 2>I mean, listen, the life of promoter was very stressful. <v Speaker 1>It was dude, And I'll tell you some cookout never <v Speaker 1>hurts ooo well. <v Speaker 2>And then you know they usually got it right too, <v Speaker 2>which was very good. You know, there's uh there, there's <v Speaker 2>a I don't know if they ever fucked up. Maybe <v Speaker 2>one time they fucked an order up of ours that <v Speaker 2>cook out, but I can't really remember that. <v Speaker 1>It doesn't matter. I'm still gonna eat it. <v Speaker 2>That's still good too. But to answer the question, go <v Speaker 2>to gas station snack. Okay, So first thing that came <v Speaker 2>to my mind. I mean, if I am really wanting <v Speaker 2>just a let's say I'm trying to get a bag <v Speaker 2>of chips, right, I'm going for the goddamn the ruffles, uh, <v Speaker 2>sour cream and chatter. I mean, that's that's a fucking <v Speaker 2>number one for me. That's you can't go wrong with that. <v Speaker 2>If I'm going for a candy, I mean, he just <v Speaker 2>I mean peanut chees. If I'm looking for chocolate, peanut <v Speaker 2>chees are always fucking great. If not a peanut chew. <v Speaker 2>I do like some kind of sour situation. Uh maybe <v Speaker 2>some kind of like uh fucking I mean more times <v Speaker 2>than I probably like some kind of airhead deal. I <v Speaker 2>love airheads. <v Speaker 1>I don't know why, but I fucking like left over <v Speaker 1>They're pretty good. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, the air and bites or just the regular you know, <v Speaker 2>air bars. That's that's in the wheelhouse. I do. I <v Speaker 2>do love myself a good slush as well, slurpy slush <v Speaker 2>whenever you want to Yea, I do love one of those. <v Speaker 2>I just got one of those. When I went to <v Speaker 2>the fucking two K thing. Dan Riker wanted to get <v Speaker 2>a forty, so I got it. <v Speaker 1>I love Dan Ryker n record. <v Speaker 2>It's like eleven PM after the recording thing, and like <v Speaker 2>he wanted to do this, you know, interview me for <v Speaker 2>about the game. And he said, all right, let's go <v Speaker 2>to the convenience store. I want to get a forty. <v Speaker 2>And I was like, I thought he was joking. And <v Speaker 2>we get there and he's like, I'm just I was like, oh, <v Speaker 2>you're fucking not joking. He said, no, I love forties, dude. <v Speaker 1>I mean, that's that's the quickest way to get shank <v Speaker 1>right there. That shit is cheap. That's hard, motherfucker shit. <v Speaker 1>Let's go. That's my boy. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Well I got a pig Starburst slash. <v Speaker 1>You got drunk off a good time. <v Speaker 2>Listen. Well, sugar high ain't hurt anybody. So that's that's <v Speaker 2>my I'm probably you know, so that's probably my my <v Speaker 2>go to their little uh sour cream and cheddar ruffle <v Speaker 2>and then some airhead end or peanut je situation. That's <v Speaker 2>probably when I end up slush. That's where I'm at there. <v Speaker 1>What about you, Damn, I don't know. I don't have <v Speaker 1>anything like that. I don't grab nothing like that. <v Speaker 2>You grab just a drink. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I usually just want to drink. If I'm gonna <v Speaker 1>get something from the gas station, I want a taqito <v Speaker 1>or like something off the roller or something. You know <v Speaker 1>what I mean. <v Speaker 2>I'm trying to think if I remember anything in particular that. <v Speaker 1>Now, grab like a pay Ruth bar or like take <v Speaker 1>five bar or something like that. You know what I mean, <v Speaker 1>I'll just grab something. But I mean if I'm gonna <v Speaker 1>get chips, like yeah, I don't really eat chips either, <v Speaker 1>you Like, like I said, man, I just get FAF <v Speaker 1>good food. I just I just like eating, you know, <v Speaker 1>two dinners, you know what I mean. I'm not trying <v Speaker 1>to eat chips or airheads or anything. I'll take two dinners, <v Speaker 1>you know, take. <v Speaker 2>A Stellar sheets food order at the very. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean, like I'll devour some of that. But like, yeah, <v Speaker 1>when it comes to the gas station snacks, I'll literally <v Speaker 1>grab whatever. I'm not I'm like super not picky about <v Speaker 1>food whatsoever. I'll literally eat anything like if I need to. <v Speaker 2>Eat it or whatever, like whatever, you're not a snack guy. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, I just don't. I just don't snack. I <v Speaker 1>mean I have. I've been eating these uh like select <v Speaker 1>Jim things. <v Speaker 2>Oh, like the mini Uh. <v Speaker 1>They're not slim gym brand. There's some protein brand deal. <v Speaker 1>But like, I guess that counts. You can get them <v Speaker 1>at the gas station, of course. Yeah, you know, damn, <v Speaker 1>I wish I had a better answer. <v Speaker 2>I'm trying to fucking fink. <v Speaker 1>I mean, I like snicker bars, I like KitKat bars, <v Speaker 1>I like reces. You know, no, no snacks in general <v Speaker 1>like me. I mean, the deal there is I don't <v Speaker 1>eat them. So when I eat them, I ship my pants. <v Speaker 1>You know, there's so much fucking sugar in this on <v Speaker 1>ship my pants. <v Speaker 2>Dude. Wow, I was such a bad influence. I didn't <v Speaker 2>even realize I was totally the snack guy, and like <v Speaker 2>you just had to fucking go along with it. <v Speaker 1>Well, it's not like you forced me to get snacks. <v Speaker 2>But like you're not gonna not eat them if they're there. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but most of the time I just got like <v Speaker 1>I don't even know, like a fucking kit cat or something, <v Speaker 1>you know, I mean, like, it's not that big of <v Speaker 1>a deal. Ain't nothing wrong with shitting your pants every <v Speaker 1>once in a while for the boys. You know, when <v Speaker 1>the boys are around, duty calls, Hey, duty calls a lot. <v Speaker 2>Well, that is it for the Q and A this week. <v Speaker 2>Thank you all for asking all of those questions.
