<v Speaker 1>What is going on everybody, And welcome to this week's
<v Speaker 1>episode of the Main Event Review. Thank you once again
<v Speaker 1>for tuning into this week's episode. This episode recorded after
<v Speaker 1>Wrestle Poal Looser. So we're going to be breaking down
<v Speaker 1>a Wrestle Poal Looser in a prly that was hyped
<v Speaker 1>so so much and it simply just didn't deliver to
<v Speaker 1>the hype. And I know that they've accompanied or acquired
<v Speaker 1>ESPN and made a deal with them, but the pl
<v Speaker 1>just just there was no wow. Fact that there was
<v Speaker 1>no surprises, there was nothing massive to suggest that this
<v Speaker 1>was a partnership debut event. The way that they were
<v Speaker 1>hyping this up, it made it seem like it was
<v Speaker 1>like a WrestleMania two point zero and it ended up
<v Speaker 1>being like pretty much a Saturday night main event type schedule.
<v Speaker 1>And before I get into obviously main event matches that
<v Speaker 1>have occurred in this Wrestle Poal Loser, I guess review,
<v Speaker 1>I'll start by saying, for the hype that it's given,
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't good. The matches were not bad, but it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't good. It wasn't like so much corporate hype and
<v Speaker 1>like and going off topic here, like Triple h for
<v Speaker 1>I guess some of the stuff he's done with creative
<v Speaker 1>wise has been okay. He's just become so corporate, like
<v Speaker 1>talking all these deals obviously with Saudi Arabia, like we've
<v Speaker 1>got sponsorships on slim gym tables We've got and like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm okay for it, because I understand that he wants
<v Speaker 1>to make money and then WW wants to produce revenue.
<v Speaker 1>The issue that I have is how like how much
<v Speaker 1>they sort of just throw it into our faces and
<v Speaker 1>then how much he hypes it up is what annoys
<v Speaker 1>me because when you're hyping something up so much you
<v Speaker 1>expected to obviously deliver. I would prefer that you're just
<v Speaker 1>throw in the little corporate sort of sale outs and
<v Speaker 1>the sponsorships they're to us, but not just hype how
<v Speaker 1>good it is, like some of the corporate deals that
<v Speaker 1>they've come off of. I've heard they've got like some
<v Speaker 1>just random sponsorship deals. You had the Hulk Hogan segment
<v Speaker 1>with like random people cheering for Hulk Hogan. That was
<v Speaker 1>just like it was so fabricated, and you had the
<v Speaker 1>commentators Marc Coleen stuffed like cheersing a beer that they
<v Speaker 1>probably didn't drink. He was just like so vague and
<v Speaker 1>even like with Pat McAfee coming out, obviously he's an
<v Speaker 1>Indiana native, we expected him to come out, but he
<v Speaker 1>brings Tyre's Halliburton, who has no involvement in the match.
<v Speaker 1>He's just there to watch it, Like does he have
<v Speaker 1>to come out? Like just stuff like that. That's just
<v Speaker 1>kind of starting to get on my nerves a bit
<v Speaker 1>more as I see it. And when you top it
<v Speaker 1>up with the announcement of Saudi Arabia Wrestle Poluzer and
<v Speaker 1>an ESPN and all the advertising, it just it's just
<v Speaker 1>becoming like he's just like going too far now and
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't even like it's not even living up to
<v Speaker 1>the hype. So I feel like you're selling us a
<v Speaker 1>product and I'm speaking by him, I'm saying Triple Ah
<v Speaker 1>a product that is just over hyped. And yeah, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not really vibing with it at the moment, But I
<v Speaker 1>guess in the end, as much as I complained about
<v Speaker 1>as much as I've noticed it, we're all going to
<v Speaker 1>sit there and watch it. And I do understand that
<v Speaker 1>they want to bring new people involved and they want
<v Speaker 1>to make it as if it's they understand that it's entertainment,
<v Speaker 1>it's not real, and I get all that, but like,
<v Speaker 1>don't hype something up that's not going to live up
<v Speaker 1>to the hype that you expect. It's just my it's
<v Speaker 1>just my concern, and Wrestl Palouza was just a massive
<v Speaker 1>example of it. Like the amount of times I've seen
<v Speaker 1>advertisements and this hype and you're talking about the pre
<v Speaker 1>like the pre sort of taping of I don't know
<v Speaker 1>ESPN past events and all that jazz, Like I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I couldn't even tell you exactly what it is because
<v Speaker 1>I zoned out completely one and two. It just was
<v Speaker 1>like an overstimulation of advertisement and hype to a point
<v Speaker 1>where we got to the event and it just didn't deliver.
<v Speaker 1>It just didn't deliver. And yeah, that's all I got
<v Speaker 1>to say before I blaw Baron. But it wasn't a
<v Speaker 1>It was a very underwhelming event. And that's not because
<v Speaker 1>of the event itself, it's because of how hyped it was.
<v Speaker 1>And that's my frustration with what happened with Wressell Poalouser.
<v Speaker 1>And mind you that it's a terrible name, like Wressel Poluza.
<v Speaker 1>Ciampunk said it it sucks. It's a terrible name. Like
<v Speaker 1>we've got WrestleMania, we don't need to add wrestle into
<v Speaker 1>another pl And yeah, that's all. That's all I'm going
<v Speaker 1>to say before I go on a bla baron. I'll
<v Speaker 1>leave it for the review, but we'll get started with
<v Speaker 1>main event. The first match Phraxium taking on Los Carrezaz
<v Speaker 1>and they're running it back again. It seems as though
<v Speaker 1>that these two tag teams are not doing anything on SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>so they have to get on the main event. The
<v Speaker 1>first thing that I gathered was that Phracium did get
<v Speaker 1>the hot tag, so I thought that maybe sorry Nathan
<v Speaker 1>Fraser got the hot tag, not Frasium. Nathan Fraser got
<v Speaker 1>the hot tag in the match, but Axium did get
<v Speaker 1>the pins, so it seems as though they're split in
<v Speaker 1>the middle when it comes to who's over or not.
<v Speaker 1>That was an interesting thing. I did think that they
<v Speaker 1>would have probably put Nathan Fraser over because got the
<v Speaker 1>hot tag and if he got the pin, I would
<v Speaker 1>have certainly thought that, But when actually got the pin,
<v Speaker 1>it shows that they're sort of split in the role,
<v Speaker 1>which is a good thing for the tag team. They
<v Speaker 1>do get the victory here and lost gases fall short
<v Speaker 1>once again. And I guess with these two, the one
<v Speaker 1>thing that I will say is obviously Andreida is not
<v Speaker 1>there anymore. But what happened to sort of that tease
<v Speaker 1>of Legada del Fantasma like falling down and Burdo potentially
<v Speaker 1>betraying them. It just seems like they just scrapped that
<v Speaker 1>storyline off. We saw them teasing it a bit as
<v Speaker 1>Berla was getting really angry and Andreida was trying to
<v Speaker 1>lure him into the to work with him or to
<v Speaker 1>just sort of get away from Del Fantasma. But it
<v Speaker 1>seems as though that that's not going to happen anymore.
<v Speaker 1>There's no Santrans Escobar to be seen, so I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if he's still involved with them. It looks like
<v Speaker 1>they're becoming their own, but they're dominating in the Lucha scene,
<v Speaker 1>but not in the WW scene. And I think if
<v Speaker 1>they were to explore that sort of and I always
<v Speaker 1>say this with TAG teams, like a split could do
<v Speaker 1>them wonders. But it's not going to happen. It's just
<v Speaker 1>something that I gathered with Burdo. It seems as though
<v Speaker 1>they're just going to stay on main event, and with
<v Speaker 1>this partnership with Triple Are, they're going to be a
<v Speaker 1>staple there rather than on the main shows. And that's okay,
<v Speaker 1>I guess, because there's not really much going on for them.
<v Speaker 1>But I think for Fraxim, they are getting better. And
<v Speaker 1>since they've come onto the scene, it's like the machine
<v Speaker 1>guns they've come off firing, It's like pent It's like
<v Speaker 1>Ray Phoenix. They've started off the blocks firing, but once
<v Speaker 1>they've got that heat sort of away from them, they
<v Speaker 1>haven't been able to or creative, haven't been able to
<v Speaker 1>do much of them. So hopefully that kind of gets resurrected.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they're in the run for Tag team champions in
<v Speaker 1>the future. A raw change could be good. I always
<v Speaker 1>talk about how bad the raw tag team division is,
<v Speaker 1>but again, they get a victory here, so momentum. Then
<v Speaker 1>they're still young, so they're sort of building up as
<v Speaker 1>a team as well, and I really like them together.
<v Speaker 1>I'm a big fan of Nathan Fraser. Feel like he's
<v Speaker 1>extremely quick, it's a great asset, and he can be
<v Speaker 1>someone for the future as a single star. But for now,
<v Speaker 1>I think Fraxin worked well together, so why not keep
<v Speaker 1>them for a little longer, but give him a bit
<v Speaker 1>of a push as well, maybe for like I said
<v Speaker 1>on Raw, for the World tag team titles. There and
<v Speaker 1>then we got the second match, we have Russev coming on.
<v Speaker 1>It's been eight and a half years since Russev has
<v Speaker 1>been on main event, albeit he hasn't been in the
<v Speaker 1>company for a while, but eight and a half years
<v Speaker 1>is a long time. So he makes his main event
<v Speaker 1>sort of re debut or reappearance after eight and a
<v Speaker 1>half years, and he takes on Cruise del Toro and
<v Speaker 1>once this match card got I guess advertised, we all
<v Speaker 1>know that Russev was going to win the match, and
<v Speaker 1>he won it quite easily. He used the accolade, he dominated.
<v Speaker 1>There was a time where Cruz del Toros sort of
<v Speaker 1>fought back for about two three minutes, but then obviously
<v Speaker 1>Russev dominated and outpowered him, and this was the right decision.
<v Speaker 1>As mentioned in Clashing Paris, he did win that match,
<v Speaker 1>so they're obviously pushing him forward. It seems as though
<v Speaker 1>that he might be challenging for the Intercontinental title. As
<v Speaker 1>we saw on Raw, those two him by those two
<v Speaker 1>I mean and Russev had a bit of a backstage
<v Speaker 1>promo and Russeve basically introduced himself and said that he's
<v Speaker 1>coming for the title. So it seems as though that
<v Speaker 1>Russev is going to be chasing that title. Whether he
<v Speaker 1>does it as a face or heel, we won't know,
<v Speaker 1>but the crowd will be rooting for dom Maasterio. So
<v Speaker 1>I kind of like the angle. Whether he wins or not,
<v Speaker 1>its begs the question. But he's having those sort of
<v Speaker 1>conversations to potentially be an Intercontinental champion or at least
<v Speaker 1>fight for it, and that's something that needed to happen
<v Speaker 1>after beating Seamus. So there's no obvious surprise that he
<v Speaker 1>won this match. I don't suspect to see him on
<v Speaker 1>the main event again, but yeah, he was on there.
<v Speaker 1>He filled up the match, he did well, he showed
<v Speaker 1>his dominance, and it was expected the result krus del
<v Speaker 1>Toro again, they continue to be who they are in
<v Speaker 1>irrelevant and insignificant. And yeah, I think this match would
<v Speaker 1>have been better if we saw Wokin Wild because I
<v Speaker 1>feel like Wakin Wild has got better acrobatic skills and
<v Speaker 1>I much prefer him in the ring over Cruis del Toro.
<v Speaker 1>And I think although Russev would have squashed him. I
<v Speaker 1>feel like Waki Wild could have had some pretty good spots,
<v Speaker 1>especially flying over the top of the ring and stuff,
<v Speaker 1>to make it a bit more entertaining, but nevertheless, they
<v Speaker 1>would have lost anyway, and there's not really much going
<v Speaker 1>on for those two anyways. That pretty much concludes the
<v Speaker 1>main event. It's a rapid one, but obviously the two
<v Speaker 1>matches to get through will work through Wrestl Palouza and
<v Speaker 1>in the order. I will confidently say that I got
<v Speaker 1>all predictions correct. I made sure to check my review
<v Speaker 1>last week to double check that, so all my predictions
<v Speaker 1>were correct. The way the matches happened, we'll break it
<v Speaker 1>down by one on one, so we'll start with brock
<v Speaker 1>Lesna and John Cena. I did say that brock Lesnon
<v Speaker 1>was going to win this match, but it was definitely
<v Speaker 1>a f fifty chance for me, given that it's obviously
<v Speaker 1>John Cena's retirement tour and brock Lesna has come back.
<v Speaker 1>But it was just a squash, and obviously it resembled
<v Speaker 1>what happened back in twenty fourteen at SummerSlam where brock
<v Speaker 1>Lesna delivered sixteen German soup lexes. Obviously, I don't think
<v Speaker 1>John Cena has the capability of taking sixteen German sup lexes,
<v Speaker 1>especially to the back of the head with all the bumps,
<v Speaker 1>so totally understandable that they went with the F five approach.
<v Speaker 1>So he hit seven F five's to John Cena six
<v Speaker 1>in the match and then won after basically dominated him.
<v Speaker 1>There was literally no chance for John Cena, and yeah,
<v Speaker 1>the same story that happened at SummerSlam. Obviously, brock Lesner
<v Speaker 1>has got John Cena's number, and it does make a
<v Speaker 1>lot of sense considering that it is going to be
<v Speaker 1>John Cena's last few matches and brock lesn has just
<v Speaker 1>come back to the company. They want to make him
<v Speaker 1>look strong and they want to make him serious if
<v Speaker 1>he is to fight on significant matches, And in the end,
<v Speaker 1>it is brock Lesner. Whatever you think about him personally,
<v Speaker 1>he's unbelievable in the ring, and he's got that presence
<v Speaker 1>that is of someone that is intimidating and scary and
<v Speaker 1>is a beast, and he's proven it in real life
<v Speaker 1>and also in the WWE ring. So definitely the right
<v Speaker 1>decision there. I've got to say, he does look really
<v Speaker 1>chiseled for his age, like he's keeping in top shape.
<v Speaker 1>I think he looks better than how he was when
<v Speaker 1>he was younger. It's crazy to see, but he makes
<v Speaker 1>quick work of John Cena. And whether they have a
<v Speaker 1>rematch or not at Crown Jewel begs a question. But
<v Speaker 1>it seems as though brock Lesna is going to be
<v Speaker 1>pushing for bigger and better things. I do like the
<v Speaker 1>Paul Hayman angle. I like that Paul Hayman announced him.
<v Speaker 1>It was a bit of a nostalgia sort of view.
<v Speaker 1>But maybe they team up again and that kind of
<v Speaker 1>puts a little bit of friction into the vision. We'll
<v Speaker 1>have to wait and see. But if you take away
<v Speaker 1>the personal stuff, it's great to see brock Lesnon back
<v Speaker 1>in the ring. He's just someone that I've grown up
<v Speaker 1>watching and he's simply a beast like you can't you
<v Speaker 1>can't look at it another way. So he gets the
<v Speaker 1>victory here. John Cena doesn't get affected too much. You
<v Speaker 1>saw the kids crying in there, and it's a good thing.
<v Speaker 1>It's to show that John Cena was vulnerable and this
<v Speaker 1>is the first time we've seen John Cena get absolutely
<v Speaker 1>ragged old in this retirement tour. And it was no
<v Speaker 1>better person than and brock Lesna to do this, so
<v Speaker 1>let's see how he bounces back. Besides the guaranteed Wargames
<v Speaker 1>match that I'm pretty sure John Cena should be in
<v Speaker 1>or will be in, I actually have no idea who's
<v Speaker 1>going to verse, especially a Crown Jewel. You're thinking the
<v Speaker 1>rematch would make the most sense, but we don't really know.
<v Speaker 1>And then he's got maybe two or three more matches.
<v Speaker 1>He's got Saturday Night main event, and then he's got
<v Speaker 1>his last match in Washington again wwbing Corporate and not
<v Speaker 1>putting it in Boston was a joke. But any who,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know who's going to Verse, so it will
<v Speaker 1>be interesting to see who he comes across. In Australia,
<v Speaker 1>there is obviously betting. They're saying that Gunther is the
<v Speaker 1>favorite to verse John Cena as presently constructed, he might
<v Speaker 1>come back and challenge him. You're thinking the Rock, But
<v Speaker 1>at the same time, the Rock is looking very thin
<v Speaker 1>at the moment for his sport movie, so I'll not
<v Speaker 1>sport with for his movie. So I don't really know
<v Speaker 1>if that's gonna happen. So I'm just looking at who
<v Speaker 1>could potentially be John Cena's final opponent and I don't
<v Speaker 1>really know who, so it's something that is it begs
<v Speaker 1>a question again, as I've repeated, and we'll have to
<v Speaker 1>wait and say simple as that. We then get the
<v Speaker 1>second match of the night, and that is the vision
<v Speaker 1>taking on the USOS. Now, I thought about this before
<v Speaker 1>and I was wondering LA Knight's not going to be
<v Speaker 1>on the card. He's obviously got a big sort of
<v Speaker 1>involvement in this feud at the moment with the bronze
<v Speaker 1>and everything that's happening with Jay Uso. They decided that
<v Speaker 1>he's going to be the special guest referee, and a
<v Speaker 1>great decision, a great way to integrate l. A. Knight
<v Speaker 1>into the match. He sort of did call the match
<v Speaker 1>down the line, which was quite surprising. I thought he
<v Speaker 1>was going to get into more altercations, but he did
<v Speaker 1>let Jimmy hit Bronson read with the check as obviously
<v Speaker 1>it was his rules. I still don't understand tag team matches,
<v Speaker 1>like are they disqualification or non disqualifications, because sometimes matches
<v Speaker 1>aren't sometimes they aren't. Obviously L A. Knight made the
<v Speaker 1>rules here, so this is a different case. But I'm
<v Speaker 1>just thinking that in generalize I do this review, but Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>the main story of the match was that ja Usho
<v Speaker 1>was about to hear La I of the chair. It
<v Speaker 1>didn't happen, and prayers up to ja Uso. Looks like
<v Speaker 1>he's going to be in the concussion protocol, so we
<v Speaker 1>won't be seeing him tomorrow. It appears as though when
<v Speaker 1>he hit bron Breaker with the chair, the impact ricocheted
<v Speaker 1>back to his face and he actually had six stitches.
<v Speaker 1>You could see that he was actually busted wide open,
<v Speaker 1>pretty pretty big. It wasn't didn't look like it was
<v Speaker 1>a work there. He looked he looked brutal. It looked
<v Speaker 1>really brutal. So I hope that jay Usa is okay.
<v Speaker 1>It looks like he is. He's just in the concussion protocol.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, the match was about basically showing where sort
<v Speaker 1>of that feud lies between j and la Night. Obviously
<v Speaker 1>ja and hit him with the chair. It appeared to
<v Speaker 1>cost him because he did end up eating the pin.
<v Speaker 1>We had the bron Breaker double spear spot, which was
<v Speaker 1>pretty amazing, and obviously the tsunami and they do get
<v Speaker 1>the victory of the Vision as a predicted. But it's
<v Speaker 1>just great to see that Bronson Reid is getting the
<v Speaker 1>pin here and jay Uso getting pinned as well. It
<v Speaker 1>protects Jimmy, which the one thing I say I was
<v Speaker 1>wrong about in my prediction is thinking that Jimmy would
<v Speaker 1>have got pinned. That didn't happen. I ended up being Jayusho.
<v Speaker 1>But Bronson Reid getting the pin was amazing because I
<v Speaker 1>think for this tag team to be taken seriously or
<v Speaker 1>this faction, we obviously know bron Breaker is the main
<v Speaker 1>guy when it comes to being the future, not really
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reid, so whatever Breaker does will be good. It's
<v Speaker 1>how they kind of get Bronson Red to be sort
<v Speaker 1>of high profile. Then by giving him a pin, that's
<v Speaker 1>a good thing. Bron Breaker still has those amazing spots
<v Speaker 1>we're talking about the spear he did watch the Brekensteiner,
<v Speaker 1>which is something that wasn't a big deal, but it
<v Speaker 1>was just something to mention. But he ends up always
<v Speaker 1>doing good spot matches, and Bronson Reid getting the pin
<v Speaker 1>only does wonders for him and getting a victory here
<v Speaker 1>for the Vision was the right decision given that they
<v Speaker 1>are obviously on a really good run at the moment,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm glad that WWE has given them the run.
<v Speaker 1>They've actually taken things on by themselves as well as
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rowlins has been busy with the siampunk aj Lee stuff.
<v Speaker 1>It's been great and they're going to continue to go
<v Speaker 1>up and up, and I think we're just waiting for
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns's return for what happens when bron Break and
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns take on each other there, So that pretty
<v Speaker 1>much wraps up that match. We then have the match
<v Speaker 1>of the night and that was er Sky taking on
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie Va Kerr, a wrestling textbook match to in ring
<v Speaker 1>amazing performers. Er Skuy's unbelievable stephanievaka also unbelievable. Stephaniev Ka
<v Speaker 1>does get the victory here with that I don't even
<v Speaker 1>know the finishing name, but she didn't do it with
<v Speaker 1>the SBV. She did it with the sort of I
<v Speaker 1>don't even know what that was, but it was an
<v Speaker 1>incredible move at the top of the ring. She gets
<v Speaker 1>the victory over eo Sky and no Ascar. No Kyrie
<v Speaker 1>is saying, so I got that wrong. It didn't seem
<v Speaker 1>as though Oscar was going to cost Eosky the match,
<v Speaker 1>but I think that was the right decision. It was
<v Speaker 1>a fair down the line victory. The sort of knee
<v Speaker 1>injury that er Skuy sort of faked made her look
<v Speaker 1>a lot stronger in this one, and it doesn't affect
<v Speaker 1>her too much. But it also helps the storyline to
<v Speaker 1>one for Stephanie Voker, as it doesn't seem like a
<v Speaker 1>cheap victory. It seemed like she got at fair and square,
<v Speaker 1>so it doesn't taint her reputation for the title, and
<v Speaker 1>it just shows that Aska is proven right that she
<v Speaker 1>does need the help of the Kabuki Warriors to win
<v Speaker 1>a title, and that will open up the feud with
<v Speaker 1>those two, and that's something that I was extremely excited
<v Speaker 1>about the potential of Uska and EO Sky getting into
<v Speaker 1>a feud, and I think that's going to be really exciting.
<v Speaker 1>I did think that it was going to be when
<v Speaker 1>Sky had the title after winning at WrestleMania, but I'm
<v Speaker 1>kind of happy that they're taking Eosky away from the title.
<v Speaker 1>I think EA and I and Ripley have been in
<v Speaker 1>that sort of area for so long, and I feel
<v Speaker 1>like they can do more with them without the titles
<v Speaker 1>and really prove that they can still be over without
<v Speaker 1>needing a women's championship around their waist. And for Stephanievoka.
<v Speaker 1>She's ascended so quick, and I think she's ready to
<v Speaker 1>be champion. I think it was the correct decision. I
<v Speaker 1>think that Stephanievocour is simply amazing. Her innring ability is great.
<v Speaker 1>I like the idea of her new T shirt catchphrase
<v Speaker 1>saying wrestling is my first language. That's just brilliant. And
<v Speaker 1>I've been a massive fan of her since she's arrived
<v Speaker 1>in WWE, starting with NXT but now also on the
<v Speaker 1>main roster. And there's no better champion right now than her,
<v Speaker 1>I think, and I think she's going to do a
<v Speaker 1>fantastic job with that belt, whether she takes on rear Ripley,
<v Speaker 1>which I feel like is going to happen, even though
<v Speaker 1>I said that I'm tired of not tired of seeing her,
<v Speaker 1>that I've seen her there for so long. I think
<v Speaker 1>it makes the most sense. But again we'll have to
<v Speaker 1>wait and seem maybe we might see Live Morgan return
<v Speaker 1>as a bit of a surprise, or Nicki Ballam might
<v Speaker 1>just have her way. Let's let's let's actually look into that.
<v Speaker 1>But again, the right decision doesn't affect both Erska will
<v Speaker 1>focus on Aska and Stephanie Vaker will focus on defending
<v Speaker 1>that title, and we'll be able to see more matches
<v Speaker 1>from her as well, because it doesn't seem like we
<v Speaker 1>saw a lot of matches since she's debut to the
<v Speaker 1>night after WrestleMania, so that's also very exciting too. We

<v Speaker 1>and his wife Becky Lynch taking on Siampunk and her
<v Speaker 1>wife his wife aj Lee in a mixed tag team match.
<v Speaker 1>Now a lot of people have criticized the match, but
<v Speaker 1>I personally really liked the match. I obviously said that
<v Speaker 1>it was going to take a while for aj Lee
<v Speaker 1>to come in, and I think they did a fantastic
<v Speaker 1>job in making sure we were like excited for that
<v Speaker 1>and we were just waiting for that moment the way
<v Speaker 1>they tease that. You had Becky Lynch showing aj Lee
<v Speaker 1>off the corner when Sampunk was about to tag in,
<v Speaker 1>you had the distraction with ceph Rons to the referee
<v Speaker 1>and Becky Lynch attacking Sam Punk. It was just executed
<v Speaker 1>great and I really liked the table spot with aj
<v Speaker 1>Lee hitting Cephrons and Becky Lynch on Sampunk. You could
<v Speaker 1>see that Sampunk actually whispit in the ear to check
<v Speaker 1>on her to make sure she was okay. So that
<v Speaker 1>was something that was I guess not unscript but really
<v Speaker 1>nice of her to do. And you had a few
<v Speaker 1>spots where you had the men attacking the women, but
<v Speaker 1>not with strikes, like you had the little sweep that
<v Speaker 1>Cephrons did on aj Lee, and you had the sort
<v Speaker 1>of sharp shooter locked in on Becky Lynch, but nothing
<v Speaker 1>to think that was any like physical violence in the aspect. Obviously,
<v Speaker 1>Sampunk contradicted himself saying you never lay his hands on
<v Speaker 1>a woman. I think he meant that by actually just
<v Speaker 1>puning or slapping them. So I guess ob mission is
<v Speaker 1>fair play. But it was a good way to sort
<v Speaker 1>of just allow them to have contact, but nothing too
<v Speaker 1>vigorous that would, I guess annoy fans. Like for me,
<v Speaker 1>I had my take and Matt's had his take on
<v Speaker 1>it in a safe environment. I see where he's coming from.
<v Speaker 1>But I think at the same time it's difficult one
<v Speaker 1>because obviously the reactions are going to be too bad there.
<v Speaker 1>So like again, it doesn't affect me, like if someone
<v Speaker 1>gets here, I know that it's on script, so I'm
<v Speaker 1>not going to be upset about it, but some people are,
<v Speaker 1>and it's just probably better to not do it in
<v Speaker 1>case like WWE's reputation, and you know how they are
<v Speaker 1>with their reputation. They'll probably lose a sponsorship deal if
<v Speaker 1>that happens, and they don't want to do that. So
<v Speaker 1>again I have to go back to that. I can't
<v Speaker 1>get over it now since I've brought it up with
<v Speaker 1>Triple H and his sponsorships. But again aj Lee gets
<v Speaker 1>the victory, locking the Black Widow on Becky Lynch. And
<v Speaker 1>I did expect a j Lee to get the victory
<v Speaker 1>in her first match and thought that there was a pin,
<v Speaker 1>but I don't know why I said that when obviously
<v Speaker 1>Black widows her finish up. But she gets the victory
<v Speaker 1>and obviously sets up them too, feuding for the Intercontinental
<v Speaker 1>Women's title, and Seampunk and seth Rolins continuing to stradd along.
<v Speaker 1>I think these two, when their careers are done obviously
<v Speaker 1>they didn't start well when Seampunk left, are going to
<v Speaker 1>be such close friends because this rivalry has been going
<v Speaker 1>on foremost two years and it's just been great, and
<v Speaker 1>you've got to give credit to all people involved, all
<v Speaker 1>four of these men and women that are making this
<v Speaker 1>feud something worthwhile, and that's what you want in WWE. Obviously,
<v Speaker 1>feuds are meant to end in six months. You meant
<v Speaker 1>to see new things. But within those sort of feuds,
<v Speaker 1>they've managed to sort of make this pretty cool in
<v Speaker 1>two months, and it does two years and it doesn't
<v Speaker 1>feel like it's overly overly dragged on. We then get
<v Speaker 1>the main event, and I don't for me, of all
<v Speaker 1>matches here, this match. The only reason why it's the
<v Speaker 1>main event is because it's for the WWE Championship. But
<v Speaker 1>in terms of like the build up to this wasn't
<v Speaker 1>that great. It's like we obviously, I'm obviously happy that
<v Speaker 1>Cody Rhods and Drew McIntire do get a program together,
<v Speaker 1>but it just it just wasn't hyped enough for me
<v Speaker 1>to think that it was main event. There was no stipulation.
<v Speaker 1>There was obviously lots of tension between the two, but
<v Speaker 1>nothing to like the level of the mixed tag team match,
<v Speaker 1>which could very much have been the main event, and
<v Speaker 1>nothing to the level of even John Cena and brock Lesna,
<v Speaker 1>which obviously that wasn't a main event due to the
<v Speaker 1>match and how it was done, but it just wasn't
<v Speaker 1>worthy of a main event in my opinion. It becomes
<v Speaker 1>a main event by default and Cody Roads gets to victory.
<v Speaker 1>We obviously have the ref not letting Drew McIntyre kick
<v Speaker 1>Cody Rhoads through the announced table, which ends up doing
<v Speaker 1>anyway but missing him, and it's set up in a
<v Speaker 1>way that obviously Drew's knee or leg was hurt from
<v Speaker 1>that kick, and then as he went for a claim
<v Speaker 1>or his leg gave out and that's how Cody Rhodes
<v Speaker 1>gets the victory. Here we did have Cody Rhodes fake
<v Speaker 1>an injury too. I don't know if that was real
<v Speaker 1>or not, but he faked an injury. But if you're
<v Speaker 1>going to do that, if it's fake or not, it
<v Speaker 1>looked like it was. Why wouldn't you get Drew McIntyre
<v Speaker 1>to attack that knee. It just didn't make sense. It
<v Speaker 1>could have been a botch, who knows, But when I
<v Speaker 1>saw that, I thought it would be a way for
<v Speaker 1>Drew to sort of attack that knee. That's what Randy
<v Speaker 1>Orden does off then he's very good at like faking
<v Speaker 1>injuries in a match. But it didn't end up happening.
<v Speaker 1>And ended up being Drew McIntire losing the match ironically
<v Speaker 1>because of an injury. And again, this was the main
<v Speaker 1>event of the match, and when it happened, you may
<v Speaker 1>have thought, okay, wrestle pal looser, all the hype that
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned at the start, something's going to go down.
<v Speaker 1>No Randy Ordan, Randy Ordon didn't appear. That didn't seem
<v Speaker 1>to be like a hill turn. Randyorton didn't come out
<v Speaker 1>and say I'm going to go for the title now.
<v Speaker 1>Like nothing happened. It was a standard match and seampunk,
<v Speaker 1>I mean siampunk. Cody Roads got the victory, and it
<v Speaker 1>was like Cody Roads was gonna win anyway. We all
<v Speaker 1>knew that, Like that was the easiest prediction on this card.
<v Speaker 1>It was that that Cody Rhodes got the victory. And
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how Drew McIntyre, let's creative do this
<v Speaker 1>to him because he keeps getting screwed over. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it's great for his character because he's obviously going to
<v Speaker 1>come out and say that his knee was the reason
<v Speaker 1>why he lost and make up excuses and that's what
<v Speaker 1>we love about Drew and hopefully he might get a rematch.
<v Speaker 1>But Randy Orden is obviously the endgame here. It looks
<v Speaker 1>as though those two are going to take each other
<v Speaker 1>on at WrestleMania, I think, and it's probably the right
<v Speaker 1>way to go, because these two have had a lot
<v Speaker 1>of history together and they've been teasing that these two
<v Speaker 1>are going to be going up against each other for
<v Speaker 1>a very long time. So it's coming close, and I
<v Speaker 1>think we're finally gonna get that match. They obviously rumoring
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns and Cody Roads. I just don't think it
<v Speaker 1>makes sense. We obviously need a trilogy match for that
<v Speaker 1>one to determine who gets two one up, But I
<v Speaker 1>think Randy Orden is the main play here. I would
<v Speaker 1>love Randy Orden to win the championship, to be a
<v Speaker 1>fifteen time champion. I think it would be cool. I
<v Speaker 1>think he deserves to be closer to John Seda than
<v Speaker 1>three times, Like fourteen or fifteen or sixteen would be
<v Speaker 1>nice time with Ric Flair, I think would be appropriate.
<v Speaker 1>And I don't think Randy Orden would want to get
<v Speaker 1>to seventeen, but he'd love to get to sixteen, I think,
<v Speaker 1>and I think that would be an appropriate number four
<v Speaker 1>for him. So again, Cody Rhodes gets the victory. And
<v Speaker 1>I think the only most significant thing which I forgot
<v Speaker 1>to mention that happened that apparently was meant to be
<v Speaker 1>hype and surprise, was that Stephanie McMahon has been inducted
<v Speaker 1>into the Hall of Fame for next year, probably the
<v Speaker 1>earliest inductee I've ever seen. And as much as I
<v Speaker 1>do honestly think that Stephanie McMahon deserves it, it's hard
<v Speaker 1>for me to feel like so happy for her when
<v Speaker 1>obviously her husband is in charge of Creative and has
<v Speaker 1>a big stay in this. But again, she does deserve
<v Speaker 1>to be a Hall of Famer. She's obviously given a
<v Speaker 1>lot to the company, and she's been ther whole life.
<v Speaker 1>Obviously her father created the whole company. I'm talking about,
<v Speaker 1>Vince McMahon, And yeah, the right decision. But again, that
<v Speaker 1>was probably the only thing that I wouldn't even say
<v Speaker 1>it was a surprise. It was quite cringe how she
<v Speaker 1>undertaker and Mark Hallaway if you want to call him,
<v Speaker 1>wasn't even acting like the dead man and Stephanie McMahon
<v Speaker 1>had that conversation. But again, she gets that good on
<v Speaker 1>her well deserved, but hard to sort of congratulate when one,
<v Speaker 1>it was so early and too it's obviously going to
<v Speaker 1>happen when her husband is part of Creative and her
<v Speaker 1>father created the company as well. But again, that's what
<v Speaker 1>happened as probably the only thing that was of significance
<v Speaker 1>in terms of what we didn't expect, but no one
<v Speaker 1>was asking for this, So yeah, that was the main
<v Speaker 1>event review and the Urestl Palooza review as well. Thank
