He doesn't throw, he doesn't make bad throws. He doesn't have like the most tremendous arm, So he'll be serviceable out there.

You give Max Free to lead. He's one of the better pitchers in the game at pitching with the lead. And I say that because I think some guys just have one route to a successful game, and that is strike one. Go for the strikeout, Go for the strikeout, go for the strikeout. And I think Max Freed does a really good job once he gets a lead, landing pitches that he's like, hey, you know what if you hit this ball hard at worst as a double, and then he's ahead and account and he's able to go deeper into games and give you quality innings. And so Max Freed off to another off to a good start. Can he get twenty wins this year?

Is Brandon Lowe's defense ever going to be as good as say a guy that the Pirates would have called up or would have put at second base, where they're like, well, we can't pay for offense, so we're going to find the best defensive player. And that's that's honestly where they were like, hey, we're gonna find value in this defense. Look, they gave Key Brian Hayes an extension. I don't know that they thought he was going to be this, you know, twenty five home run eighty five RBI type of guy. I think I would hope their evaluations knew he wasn't going to be great offensively, but he was great. He was elite defensively, and so they're kind of trying to make that change. They didn't go like crazy different, but to me, that's where it'll be interesting to see how they do, because I truly believe they're built on that pitching. They've built some pitching from the minor leagues Schemes Keller, Bubba Chandler, and then you know the other guys that they have coming. Also, it's like you have to be able to back those guys. You can't just be like, good job, guys, you've made it. We're gonna put you on an island out there and you better strike everybody out or you're not gonna get.

If you can sign a thirty to thirty guy who had a down second imaginef you didn't have a down second alps he forty forty, then the deal looks like a steal for the team.

You have a guy like aj Persinski on your team, one of the best hitting catchers during his generation. You can have somebody at another position that is gonna bring mostly just defense because he's bringing offense at a position that you normally don't get offense from. If you have me behind the dish, you're gonna need somebody else to step up at another position that normally isn't a major offensive position. That's why teams that have elite players at catcher, shortstop, and center field that can both hit and play defense at the big league level, those are the teams that are in playoff contention. Like it's not like this like crazy formula, it's are you are you good up the middle?

You know, a lot of NBA dudes they don't even shoot the they don't even shoot the three pointer at the end of the quarter whatever because the time's running out and it affects their affects their shot percentage. So to me, it's gonna there's gonna be the dudes that get go a whole season. They might do twelve challenges, which would be a lot of challenges and not get one wrong, and then there's gonna be dudes who get every single one of them wrong.

I mean, I still broke my handmate, but I actually held if you can show my bottom hand, so I didn't hold the bat. But I actually always kind of held it like this, which is kind of how the axe handle works. See how it's not straight and flat. It's kind of at an angle this way. That's what the axe handle does, and it's supposed to help you get more whip. Now whether it helped me or not, I don't know, but that was just always the way I held the bat. I could never hold it straight. I always kind of was. People were like, oh, you're choking up. No, I'm not choking up. I'm actually on the knob. But I just hold it. I don't hold it straight. That was just the way I always did it.
