00:00:05 Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, Welcome to an episode, another episode Give Them La La Podcast. We are going to talk today about your guys. Is well, I think to your guys is it's certainly one of my most favorite topics. 00:00:21 Speaker 2: It's one of mine too, Bend Those are the rules? What is that from? 00:00:28 Speaker 1: I don't know, another movie quote. I'm obsessed? Are the rules? 00:00:34 Speaker 2: Those are the rules. 00:00:38 Speaker 1: So this is going to be another episode. I'm just letting you guys know because you guys are used to a certain uh, what's it called routine. We'll call it the virgo and me loves a routine and we've been sticking to it for the past however long when we do our Wednesday episodes. But if you haven't noticed, I'm ready to pop. She sure is, so I just want to like, we're stacking the episode. So today I've asked you guys again what vander pump Rule's moments you guys liked. We're confused by what's stuck with you? Where You're like, I don't really know if I understand. I'd like her to venture into that a little more. Easton has a question which was wild. He was too because he doesn't watch the show. So there are now times that he because he's like now in the zone of the world, right, So he walked in, He's like, I got a couple questions for you today on the podcast about how you acted, and I was like, great, lovely, I love this. And then he brought up the seasons and I was like, oh, drinking Lauren even lovelier. 00:01:44 Speaker 2: Oh my god, this is great. 00:01:45 Speaker 3: Yeah, and just ask people to the Also what they wanted you to dive more into law? 00:01:51 Speaker 4: Okay, well but let's ask let's start with them, and then I'll I'll ask I know this season that they bring up. 00:02:00 Speaker 1: So. 00:02:02 Speaker 2: Were you on this season? I think you were law? 00:02:06 Speaker 3: Okay, but it sounds like all they put was Kristin and Jack sleeping together. 00:02:12 Speaker 1: Okay, isn't that so wild? What that they hooked up and she and he was fully with Stassy at the time? Okay? 00:02:20 Speaker 2: Is that was that the catalyst for the slap from Saucy? 00:02:24 Speaker 1: Yes? Were you? 00:02:27 Speaker 2: I was not on that season, but you watched. 00:02:29 Speaker 1: I watched there. That's when that's like a super iconic scene. Yes, they both Kristin and Jack's were adamant that nothing had ever happened. 00:02:40 Speaker 2: I watched. 00:02:40 Speaker 1: Yeah, but if you know Jack's at all at some point, like we all know that, I think I will label him as a liar. Okay, I label him as a liar. 00:02:51 Speaker 2: Okay. 00:02:52 Speaker 1: I do think there are times where he breaks and it's. 00:02:57 Speaker 2: Like, why didn't you just like start with all of this. 00:03:00 Speaker 1: It's like, why do you have such conviction with the lie to suddenly you're like, I'm just gonna tell you the whole truth, nothing but the truth. 00:03:07 Speaker 4: So help me God. 00:03:09 Speaker 1: So Kristin was going to die on the hill of nothing ever happened. And remember she was with Sandoval, who was best friends with Jack's. It was this weird entanglement that they got themselves into. Shout out Jada, and I always say, people who get comfortable with each other and have a really tight bond and a really tight friendship, the moment you add alcohol, it becomes easy to get naked with them and insert things where they shouldn't and don't belong. Okay, happen with me and James, happened with Kristin, Dody and Jacks, happened with Rachel and Sandoval. It just happens, okay. And I do believe that the alcohol is the catalyst to the dick catapulting into the vagina, catapulting really just catapulting. So I wasn't around, but it was weird that like that happened a really long time ago, and then cut to where we are now, and I'm like, oh, it's still happening. We not we y'all should look into this behavior. Y'all should look into this behavior, you know, and kind of go, what's not working? Because you know, the definition of insanity is where you do the same thing over and over and over again and expect a different result. So let's not get super close as homies where it's like kind of inappropriate and then go and get fucked up together alone. 00:04:44 Speaker 3: Yeah, unless you know, unless you're all friends and you know, like we're all gonna hook up, that's just what it's gonna. 00:04:50 Speaker 2: Be, then do your thing. But if not and there's secrecy, you gotta switch that up. 00:04:56 Speaker 1: I just think anytime if you're about to do something and you're like, Okay, if people were to find out about this, if I can't tell people about this, should I be doing it right? And if the answer is no, I this is something that I hope stays private, I would disengage. I would abort mission. 00:05:15 Speaker 3: So then with Kristen and Jack's I remember watching that and Kristin being like, we didn't we didn't? 00:05:22 Speaker 2: Were you? Did you? Is this kind of a differce season? 00:05:25 Speaker 1: Was this? 00:05:26 Speaker 2: This was? I believe? Wasn't this two? 00:05:28 Speaker 1: If it was two, I didn't come on until four. 00:05:31 Speaker 3: No, I know, but when you watched it, this was years down the road, right, you had already known everyone. 00:05:36 Speaker 1: I actually watched the episode during the pandemic. 00:05:41 Speaker 2: Okay, and I remember you, but I'd like you to repeat it. 00:05:43 Speaker 3: I remember you saying I don't know if it was just to me, but you said, like you watch it and you were like, oh, this is iconic. Did you like feel that way watching like the first couple seasons or no, like this is an amazing show. 00:05:55 Speaker 1: Like when without me on it? Yes, when I went back and watched it, I then understood why people were so obsessed, what hooked everybody, and honestly felt in that moment two things, Holy fuck, how did I end up here with this group? 00:06:13 Speaker 2: Right? 00:06:14 Speaker 1: And then oh my god, I feel really really fucking dope that I ended up here. You know, because you watch those moments and I say to people who are new to reality television, like for example, whoever joined the Valley. These people have been my friends for a really long time. I've known them before the Valley ever came to Fruition. But I try to remind them there are gonna be moments where when it happens and then you have to relive it and it airs where you're like, oh my gosh, I'm so cringey, I hate this, And a lot of times those moments give it some time turn into iconic moments. So just try not to like get married to the way that you acted. Also try not to like refine the way that you're acting, because a lot of people they're like I decided, like, if we're filming, I'm not going to drink because I want to be in control. And it's like, oh, I kind of want to be entertained, So could you like maybe have a drink? Unlass, you're a sober right, But I'm like, you don't have a drinking problem, right, You're enore me. I'm not talking to these people who are unhinged when they drink, and it's like, okay, we gotta get we gotta get sober. 00:07:31 Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sober. 00:07:32 Speaker 1: I'm interesting as books. 00:07:33 Speaker 2: Still very true, very true. 00:07:37 Speaker 1: Okay, can I tell you though you since season seven, after Dad had passed away, I did tell myself, I'm unhinged and emotional from his passing. I'm not going to drink. I'm only going to smoke weed. And we went to Solvank and it was my trip and production kept saying okay, and we were in the van. We had just landed and we took a little, a little private jet there because it wasn't very far and production Jenna, oh boy, Jenna Long, not Jenna Willis Long, you know what I'm talking about. Producer Jenna. She's she doesn't work for the show anymore with the show, but she was like, okay, law, you have to tell everybody. And she's so fucking cool. She's like, low, you gotta tell everybody, like where we're going, this is your trip. And I was so high that I would look at everybody, perched myself because I'm in the front row of the van and I look at everyone. I'm like, I don't even know. I would started laughing. And so Arian is like, so we're insulting, and you're gonna take his wine tasting. That'll be great. I'm like, and she's like and we're gonna stay at this hotel. I'm like, mm hmm, that's what we're gonna do. I couldn't even function. I was so high. 00:08:47 Speaker 4: Is a fucking kite I dream about. 00:08:50 Speaker 5: Getting Yeah, And finally I was like, yo, I cannot keep getting this fucking high when we're filming because I can't produce words. 00:09:03 Speaker 2: You I can't. That's when you added the alcohol back in. 00:09:06 Speaker 1: Mm hm. I actually chose one and up. 00:09:10 Speaker 2: Yes I or both. 00:09:12 Speaker 3: I love that you talked about this because I went to the question that we had about They obviously just want you to talk more about it. Talking to Sassy and solving by the horses about your dad. 00:09:23 Speaker 1: Oh my god, that was torture. 00:09:25 Speaker 3: So that was the I remember that scene you're crying sobbing. Did you know going into that where you like, this is going to be a very deep, tough conversation or did it sort of just happen? 00:09:36 Speaker 1: Well? I was struggling obviously that entire time that we were filming. It was the darkest place I've ever been in my entire life. So there were moments because I knew that I was going through what I was going through, But I also knew that like everything I go in film, I can't just constantly be talking about my dad, even though that's kind of the the only thing I'm focused on. So when production, because I was kind of purging onto production just about how like today I'm going to funk, like we're with these horses and it's reminding me, Like there were certain things the song fast Car by Tacy Chapman, Yes, which has nothing to do with death, nothing to do with like a father daughter relationship, there was something about the tone of it that always brought me like sobbing. Even when I hear it now, I'm like, Okay, this like reminds me of. 00:10:32 Speaker 4: My dad, And subconsciously you could have listened to it with him, and that's why you hear it and brings. 00:10:37 Speaker 1: You back to that. 00:10:38 Speaker 4: That could be it, like as subconscious feeling of him. 00:10:40 Speaker 1: That totally could be it. And then I was watching these horses and I'm like, oh my gosh, like the thought of like these animals and you're I had just gone on the horse, remember, and I was like me being on a horse and just like feeling it breathing. We have to be in sync. There was something very spiritual about that too, and I was searching for any sort of higher power, because I started questioning my higher power at that point. I'm like, there is no God. There's really shitty people in the world, and like why my dad Stossy is great at just listening, which doesn't say much back to you. And I'm not saying that I wanted someone to like shut the fuck up, but I just wanted someone who was gonna like listen and feel for me and that scene. What's interesting about that scene is the guy who edited the replay of season ten where I talk about the one that was nominated for an Emmy. This brings me to one logical conclusion. They're hooking up. The same editor of that episode edited the scene of me and Stossy, me talking about my dad saying that my dad's just a memory and that's fucking me up. And he said the reason he was able to really sink into that editing process was because his wife had just lost a parent as well, and he was like, so I could in some way understand what you were trying to say because my wife had said similar things about her. I believe it was her dad that also passed away. So I thought that that was really cool that someone who actually was on that side of grief with me, was editing that scene together. 00:12:30 Speaker 2: Yeah, that's beautiful. It was dark. 00:12:33 Speaker 1: That whole season was very dark. Bamby eyed bitch, Like that was a dark moment for me. 00:12:40 Speaker 3: Which is interesting because now you look back and it's like, oh, iconic baby, you mean named it? 00:12:44 Speaker 2: I shadow palette after it. 00:12:46 Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, when I watch that scene, I have veins popping out of my neck. I'm going like this because I'm like, I have never wanted to get physical with someone, but like I'm I've not only consumed Champagne, I'm in a grieving process and we're in the we're in the anger stage, and like, I have never wanted to grab someone by their hair and yank them to the fucking ground. 00:13:11 Speaker 2: And you didn't. 00:13:12 Speaker 1: And I was, I like, let me tell you something like holding back, yes, and just the veins in my neck. I was like, oh my god, you're like enraged, right right, yeah, because anything short of I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. React, However, you need to just process this. I was coming for you. 00:13:36 Speaker 2: When you watch that, do you feel the feeling can't you go back there? 00:13:39 Speaker 1: Or no? 00:13:40 Speaker 3: Do you feel the feelings like you said, you see the veins and you're like, oh my god, I wanted to rip her hair out or whatever, or do you just like know, you watch and you're like, can you watch it without getting in a bad headspace? 00:13:52 Speaker 4: Do you watch it and take yourself back into Yeah, that mindset? That's for me even watching it after that, Like, I don't watch but I did watch that, and just hearing you talk about it for one thing, I was like, I can't because it took me to that point. 00:14:07 Speaker 1: No, I can't watch season seven. 00:14:09 Speaker 2: Yeah you can't. 00:14:09 Speaker 1: No, Okay no. And the first interview that I do, they have me talk about my dad passing away, and I say my dad passed away, and I start sobbing and say, it's so weird to say that. When I watch those things, it takes me back to such a heavy place. And there's a point during all of that, which is another reason why I think this past season, season eleven, where everyone was like so taken aback, how dare I have these questions for Ariana after she suffered her heartbreak, I'm like, I vividly remember me spiraling from the death of my dad, something that she knows very well, and her saying to Shina that I needed tough in the fuck up. So how is it that I can't ask questions about someone being cheated on? But when I lost my dad, someone who I adored, I needs to toughen the fuck up. And during that reunion, and maybe it's lost on me, I don't ever remember getting an I'm so sorry I should have never said that. I got a merry go round of fucking excuses of why she said that. So I think that anyone who signs up for reality TV needs to really be prepared that no matter what I mean. Lisa Renna, Lisa Renna lost her mom and was acting differently. I can't imagine why, and she was very angry, and watching it, I was like, oh my god, I so feel for this woman, and no one gave her any grade. 00:16:05 Speaker 3: All the freaking credit for you guys to do reality TV because. 00:16:08 Speaker 2: The amount of things I've and I haven't. 00:16:10 Speaker 3: Even gone through trauma, real trauma, the amount of things and the emotion that comes out and the way I take it out on people, and. 00:16:17 Speaker 2: I'm a mess. 00:16:18 Speaker 3: And then a few months later I'm like, damn, Like if the ship the way I act ever is caught on camera, I'd be like, people would hate me and then you guys do it in front of camera. 00:16:27 Speaker 1: But do you regret how you ever acted? 00:16:30 Speaker 4: Because when the like the lossing of our dad, there's a lot of things that I don't I wish I would have done differently. But for me standing here today and doing everything that I'm doing, if I would to be back, I don't think i'd do anything different because I know I got to this point right. So in your headspace, do you would you have handled it different or any conversations differently with that or do you stand by with everything that you said because your emotions were your emotions. 00:16:58 Speaker 2: And people can relate now, Yeah, yeah. 00:17:02 Speaker 1: I mean I handled it the old That was the greatest loss I'd ever experienced. I won't experience that type of loss again until my mom. We won't even go there. But that was the greatest loss I've ever had. So yes, I do think that way of where I'm like, had I not gone back to Vanderpump rules, there's so much that like, I probably wouldn't be sober. You know, I had to rewatch my behavior. But at the same time, I had such a soft spot, like I doubled down at that reunion, like I was not apologizing for how I acted, like my I don't know how to explain this to you. 00:17:43 Speaker 2: My dad died. 00:17:45 Speaker 4: But that's the other thing, is like, so doubled down because for me, just looking at it, if you would have had people care, you wouldn't have had that feeling of doubling down. It's almost like you doubled down because still nobody cares or is giving you that. 00:18:00 Speaker 1: I feel like I was babied in any type of way. I was like, we're sorry about your dad dying, but like we're throwing you to the wolves. Great whatever. No, I'm happy I went back because now I'm a sober person and I got to grieve my dad and remember him in a very healthy way. However, there's also the other side where I think I should not have gone back to the show season seven. I should have taken a step back and really taken time for myself and my family. But then I probably wouldn't be sober. So I don't know. 00:18:37 Speaker 2: Well, there you go, and also you saying that just as like if you are watching, there's something so powerful, like you had a platform and you showed people it's okay to act. You can literally be a mess. 00:18:50 Speaker 3: You can handle grief any way you want, and that's okay because that's how you're handling it. 00:18:55 Speaker 2: Like that is okay. That is so powerful. That is so powerful. 00:19:00 Speaker 3: It's so great to see people handle grief with grace. I look at it, I watch it, I learn from it. But I also love not for this to sound dark and not this is not what you did. When people handle grief in a very messy way, I feel there's something very calmon because I'm like, Okay, you can lose your shit sometimes and we're all human and that happens and it's okay. 00:19:23 Speaker 1: I think when people ask me for advice, yeah, my biggest piece of advice is surround yourself with people who are gonna let you go through the process that is grieving, because there's no handbook that tells you what to do. It's not pretty, it gets ugly. You have moments that are euphoric where who knows why they're like that, and you're like, I'm gonna be okay, I can feel this person with me. We're gonna be good to Oh, we're slamming the bottle. Oh fuck. I hope that this doesn't stick forever to I'm angry and I need to throw shit. Somebody has to be around you who can baby that and not make you feel guilty for it. 00:20:09 Speaker 4: Yeah, Like if you're slamming the bottle, then your one friend is like, I know that you lost, but let's not take two shots right now. 00:20:16 Speaker 6: Let's wait. 00:20:16 Speaker 4: And that's that step back of having good people. And the other thing is always showing like your emotion. I don't know if you do that, but when I was going through it, and when people the handful of people who have come and said my dad, mom has passed, like how did you get through it? I just say, every emotion that you feel, you show, Yeah, yeah, because. 00:20:33 Speaker 1: It's you know, once you're suppressed it, it's going to come out at some point. And I also remember when I had gone off on everybody all of season seven, and then we did the reunion and Tom Sandoval said something about how like everyone goes through his goes through shit, his dad was hospitalized or something like that, and I was like, good for you, Tom, I'm happy for you that he didn't like when that happened to him. He didn't lose his mind. And what I so badly wish I would have said, is like you get to still pick up the fucking phone, like I'm sorry your dad was hospitalized, but like you could call it might not be like, hey, how you doing to shut the fuck up? 00:21:13 Speaker 2: Death is final, right. 00:21:14 Speaker 1: Like mine was a very final thing. And by the way that my dad and I had like a good relationship. I'm not saying that people on the cast had different relationships, but you cannot none of us can talk about something like that when you don't know the ins and outs of you don't know the relationship that someone had with someone. Right, you're sitting there judging their grieving process, while that person who's grieving is going over every moment they ever had, the wrinkles on the face, how the hug felt. So it's important to surround yourself with people who are gonna let you go through every emotion and be there with you yea, and not tell you how to handle it or judge you for how you're handling it. Because we wish that we could Saka been smiling wave, but it's like, I don't know how to process this. Yeah, right, anyway, let's move on to something. 00:22:07 Speaker 3: But this was great though. I love I love the that tangent. I think it's very important. Okay, something maybe not happy, maybe happy, but lighter. Season ten reunion we're jumping there. This is from SHAWNA. Was there any moments that didn't air that you wish had? 00:22:25 Speaker 1: So? 00:22:25 Speaker 2: Season ten reunion? 00:22:26 Speaker 3: Is you like that's red dress you? Or is that most recent? Why am I blanking? 00:22:31 Speaker 2: Is that? 00:22:31 Speaker 1: Is that the one where you stood You stood up and you're thinking of Arion in the that's Arion in the redout dress and I was in the sequin I cheetah print. 00:22:42 Speaker 2: Oh due? Yes? 00:22:43 Speaker 1: Okay? 00:22:43 Speaker 2: Season ten is finger guns? 00:22:46 Speaker 4: Is that the way you got up and did the spin and you were like, I I have it? No, you were by James, but you got up out of your seat and you did a spin? 00:22:54 Speaker 1: Did you not? 00:22:55 Speaker 4: Wasn't that in a yeah? Like in your dress? You were like, I'm fine, I look great. 00:23:00 Speaker 2: No, this is recent? Is that recent? 00:23:02 Speaker 1: No? 00:23:02 Speaker 2: Season ten is like she sand twirl please. 00:23:09 Speaker 1: Version of me? 00:23:10 Speaker 2: This is the like. 00:23:11 Speaker 3: Bitching her and James were like MVPs like yelling at Sandaval, yelling at Rachel. 00:23:16 Speaker 2: Maybe I don't know. 00:23:18 Speaker 3: Yes, okay, was there anything that that didn't air that you wish had? 00:23:23 Speaker 2: You know what? 00:23:24 Speaker 1: I really love that they're doing now is Peacock has the extended version? Okay, so no, they actually kept everything that I thought was worthy of showing. Okay, okay, they showed like the the episode on Bravo and then the next day the extended version airs on Peacock. And I love that they're doing that because it gives you, like they put in like the really petty moments that are like so stupid but like funny or whatever that I think kind of make the reunion. 00:23:55 Speaker 3: Yeah, I love that. Okay, this is funny. You've talked about this, but I've seen a few of these. 00:24:01 Speaker 2: I'm gonna read it. 00:24:02 Speaker 3: Kristen's speech at Katie and Schwartz's engagement party, and you interrupted, how did this come about? Were you drunk? Did you not want to be there? Were you forced to be there? And you're just like, I'm fucking over it? Did you want camera time? 00:24:15 Speaker 1: Like? 00:24:15 Speaker 2: What was it? 00:24:17 Speaker 1: I wish that I could be like I was coherent enough to just want camera right right right? No, I was this is can you wrap this up? I was wasted? 00:24:27 Speaker 2: Okay? 00:24:28 Speaker 3: And did you not like I'm trying to bring myself there? She wasn't making sense. 00:24:33 Speaker 1: And by the way, the people I was around were also wondering what the fuck was going on. So I'm sitting here listening and I'm wasted, and I'm like, I'm not the only person that doesn't know what they're talking about. Their tangenting and people around me were like, what the fuck are yeah? Right, So that's when I was like, we're trying to have fun. Can you wrap it up? The fuck are you talking about? Yeah? 00:24:58 Speaker 2: And you weren't getting along with there the time, right. 00:25:01 Speaker 1: No, But that was Katie and Chores's engagement party with people that had flown in. 00:25:07 Speaker 2: I know you had hoops on, right. 00:25:09 Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest, I don't know why she would ever want to be my friend or ever forgive me for that, Kristen or. 00:25:15 Speaker 2: Ka Katy, you stand up, let me see, let me say, but I don't. She stands up with the finger guns right. 00:25:23 Speaker 4: Now, goes look at you, and she gets up and she goes, yeah, look at me. 00:25:29 Speaker 2: Who is yelling no? Like? Is it James? 00:25:35 Speaker 1: I don't know, but that's what I didn't say. 00:25:37 Speaker 4: I don't know if you like. 00:25:38 Speaker 1: I didn't not like because I'm I've been taken over. 00:25:45 Speaker 2: But I did remember, yes, stood. 00:25:47 Speaker 1: Up yeah you did. Okay, Okay, so then so no, you're good. Yes, I did stand up. And I actually think that that was in the extended version that you're talking about. What did you expect? What did you eat? 00:26:02 Speaker 2: I did? 00:26:03 Speaker 4: The only reason why I remember that is because I loved it. 00:26:06 Speaker 1: No, but he had been short. Sanaba had been like so self righteous with me for years. Okay, like and now I find out you've done this. Oh I'm about to eat you alive. I'm going okay like that whole Raquel had just like at the dinner table, told me I'm a mistress and you guys are both gonna show up. I'm fucking you up. Yeah, now I'm calm. Sort of. 00:26:33 Speaker 4: Other question, when you go into a reunion or anything like that, do you prep or do other people prep for? 00:26:38 Speaker 1: Like any I don't know what anyone else does. 00:26:42 Speaker 3: Actually made a great point. She's like, when you go in and prep, it doesn't it doesn't go up. 00:26:46 Speaker 4: Well, what's her name? 00:26:47 Speaker 2: Did it? 00:26:47 Speaker 1: Remember? 00:26:48 Speaker 4: She was on Salt Lake she's not on it anymore? Yeah, yeah, even what's her name? Did who came back on Orange County or Beverly Hills? And she was like, I did bring a couple of notepads, so I don't miss anything. Oh yeah, So that's what I was saying, if not only you, but do other people prep that way? Because it is crazy to like see you guys go in and then you guys remembering every single thing from that whole season, because I'd be like, I don't remember. Yeah, so that's where how do you guys even like, how would you prep? Do you watch the whole season before you do it? 00:27:25 Speaker 1: Season eleven was the first reunion I went into that I hadn't. 00:27:30 Speaker 2: Watched because you're supposed to write. 00:27:33 Speaker 1: I think you should, so you know what's being said behind your back? 00:27:39 Speaker 2: Just a good one. 00:27:40 Speaker 1: I've seen this a couple of times. 00:27:42 Speaker 3: Looking back on Mexico? Do you see the signs with Tom and Rachel more clearly when you were there? Were you like something's going on? Or were you just like, I don't even give a hack about these two, Like do do you go? 00:27:56 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:27:57 Speaker 4: Yeah? When you were in Mexico? 00:27:59 Speaker 1: Were yeah, they're fucking I'm trying to remember when I started thinking their relationship was weird. I have to say I thought that they were getting a little too close, and I thought that just the entire time we were filming. It was like the way that he defended her, it was like I didn't think they were fucking, but I was like, what are you fucking her? She paying you? Like what the Mexico. No, I'm sinking at the beginning of just like, I just thought it was weird that she was always such a fixture, and whether Ariana was around or not, it was like weird to me. 00:28:38 Speaker 3: Yeah, And remember the Mexico was Schwartz. That was like, oh, are they gonna kiss? Are they gonna it was Rachel and Schwartz. When I was watching the show, I was like, yeah, I could see if I hadn't known about Sandoval ike. 00:28:50 Speaker 1: Yeah, I when I really kind of put it together and I was like, I'm actually saying something now like I had I had this weird like y'all are close. But it was after the Labor Day party where I talked about how I went to the barbecue Arianna's grandma had died and then Tom Sandoval stayed and I was like it was with Raquel the whole time. That's when I was like, I'm saying something, something is not right. But in Mexico, I believe that was in August and you have to remember I didn't see them together. I was kind of on the fringe. I was hanging out with Katie and Christina. I didn't see what Santaval and Rachel were like together. 00:29:29 Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, So when I watch it and. 00:29:32 Speaker 1: He's like rock cut, and I'm like, you guys probably fucked on and I think they they did. 00:29:40 Speaker 3: They did that like came out somehow. I don't know if it was anyway wild Okay, I. 00:29:46 Speaker 4: Have one yes season four, oh my first season episode ten? 00:29:54 Speaker 2: Huh wow, Okay. 00:29:55 Speaker 4: Cay, remind me you were I want to say it was dinner you Kristen and Jack? 00:30:04 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, what was going through? 00:30:06 Speaker 1: What alcohol was? Wait? 00:30:09 Speaker 2: Reminded me was there something Saturday? 00:30:11 Speaker 4: She was like giving him hugs. Jack. 00:30:14 Speaker 1: We've talked about this. We've talked this episode. 00:30:17 Speaker 2: Okay, okay. 00:30:18 Speaker 1: This is the scene where everyone thinks I was petting his penis genus under the table, but I wasn't. 00:30:24 Speaker 2: What were you doing? 00:30:25 Speaker 1: I was. I had my hand on his leg okay, okay, and I was wasted. We know I saw you and that's the same exact night that my I think they showed me and Jack's leaving together. But my ex picks me up, and that's the night that I on the car sex. 00:30:42 Speaker 2: While he drove stop it. 00:30:44 Speaker 4: I just couldn't be over over over. 00:30:49 Speaker 1: Remember I remember my way cute heels at this bar. The slats of the wood were like two when my heels kept getting stuck, and I was like or you know, and I was a little bit drunk, so I couldn't exactly maneuver around them. 00:31:07 Speaker 4: Yeah, alcohol, But were you trying to also make any like Kristin jealous or if anybody like season. 00:31:14 Speaker 1: Four I was so fucking cool. I was like, I had very few words to say. 00:31:20 Speaker 2: M M. 00:31:21 Speaker 1: Season four, can I tell you with my shitsue hair finale where I'm like, where Chris or Stocy I pushed Kristin, Stossy and Katie are trying to like get through to me, And I'm like, if you want to be my friend, you can be my friend. If you don't want to be my friend, you can fucking blow me. 00:31:42 Speaker 2: It's so weird, like who are you? 00:31:45 Speaker 3: It's so wild that season four is your first season and that's like your coolest because that would to me would be like the pick Me Girls season, the like you're trying to get all the lines set in the but you weren't. I've seen a lot of that on reality TV. 00:31:56 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not like you're trying. 00:31:58 Speaker 2: You were trying. 00:31:59 Speaker 1: You're just even know how to try. 00:32:01 Speaker 2: I was in a foreign territory, right. 00:32:04 Speaker 1: They're telling me that we're gonna we're gonna have you meet with this person, we're gonna film it, and you're gonna go to Hawaii, and I'm like, go to Hawaii. Hell, yeah, my mom, I was in such unchartered waters. 00:32:18 Speaker 4: Yeah, we can tell by the liquor intake Kristin or I can't. I don't know who said it, but she goes, is it bottomless tequila or something? Because you're just like another shot when we're shot, and just keeps bringing him the wretch that. 00:32:30 Speaker 2: She's commenting on us, that's wretch. 00:32:34 Speaker 1: Oh my god. Anyone on the show and anyone's drinking at that point in time is laughable. 00:32:42 Speaker 2: Oh, that's so funny. 00:32:47 Speaker 1: There's a scene, can I tell you? 00:32:49 Speaker 2: Yes? 00:32:49 Speaker 1: In Mexico, there's this season six when I was finally accepted by the took you two seasons and I it took me a while, and we're at dinner and they did not show this. You guys, there's a dinner where I have my hair in a top knot. It's the dinner that I believe. We're at a sushi restaurant Mexico and Kristin throws the drink. She throws the drink at James, but it hits me and she's and I'm like, are you fucking kidding me, Kristen, And she was like, she looks me, I'm sorry. I was trying because it did not go where she wanted it to go. 00:33:33 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:33:34 Speaker 1: The reason I didn't drink at that dinner is because that afternoon we were not filming. We were on break and I went to a restaurant with James and Shena and someone else. We were at a high top. Poor James has watched me faint many times, and I had been drinking NonStop. I think I was overheated too much alcohol and dehydrated. Yes, And I just slither out of the chair and they came and like took me away and had me laying down and I was surrounded by like nurses. They wanted to take me to the hospital, but my mom and my ex were on the phone being like, you're not taking her anywhere. I will fly out, I will send her a plane, like because I was fucked up, right, And I remember a producer being like, can we have cameras come in? I was like, no, I'm fucked up. I just passed out. 00:34:35 Speaker 2: Did they catch you passing out the cameras? 00:34:37 Speaker 1: No, but they had to call production because I was like, I was like, out cold. 00:34:44 Speaker 2: You were definitely dehydrated. Had you smoked weed? 00:34:46 Speaker 1: Probably? 00:34:47 Speaker 2: Okay? Yeah, fucked up dehydrated. 00:34:49 Speaker 1: And so I went back to the hotel and took a load off, and then at dinner, I was like, I'm only having diet cocaine and christened through a drink at James that actually landed on me. 00:34:59 Speaker 2: That would be make sense. Why you weren't fucking I. 00:35:01 Speaker 4: Think she wasn't drunk because that over the table she goes, yeah, I. 00:35:07 Speaker 1: Was getting along, was everybody at that point. 00:35:09 Speaker 3: Though this person's question, I would like to hear a little bit more about what your life was like right before vander Pump filming. 00:35:16 Speaker 2: So let's just say you fun fucking was that you didn't know you were going to be on the show. 00:35:21 Speaker 3: Are you always at the vander Pump bar? Are you modeling? Are you what are you doing? 00:35:25 Speaker 2: Who are you hanging out with? 00:35:27 Speaker 1: My life was unhinged. I was a twenty three year old living in Los Angeles, California, with a tight little bod, and the world was mine for the taking. And it was like I, for the first time have my own apartment that like I can have boys over to and like Wednesday nights, we'd go to Warwick and we went to pool parties and we laid out topless, me and Danielle and it was just like fun. Yeah, and it was non stop alcohol at all times. But because we were young, wild and free, it didn't matter. You're not a degenerate or an alcoholic. You're just twenty three living your fucking life. 00:36:05 Speaker 2: And isn't that the fit modeling? 00:36:08 Speaker 1: Yes, that's how I was making money. It's fit modeling in downtown LA for like eight hours. I started at forty dollars an hour, and this motherfucker hustled them to one hundred and fifty an hour. 00:36:18 Speaker 2: Forty dollars an hour back then is so much money. 00:36:22 Speaker 3: By the way, No, I was making twenty an hour nanning and thought I was rich. 00:36:25 Speaker 1: And keep in mind, twenty an hour though, that's good. Well forty yeah, Well they found me and I believe it was like a modeling website and I was living in Utah. They said, if you I told them I was moving to LA and they offered me this gig. And it was when I was nineteen. The first time I had moved to LA, I ended up coming home. When I decided to go back, I called them again and said, I'm moving back to LA. Could I, you know, pick up where we left off? And they said yes. So it was fit modeling. They usually liked their fit models to work four hours a couple days a week because it's I don't want to say it's grueling, but you have to change a lot of times. Yeah, and the posing is very generic and they usually end up cutting your head off. So fit modeling I not like workout. Yes, it's like a very basic body to show what clothing looks like on a body that goes on a website. 00:37:27 Speaker 2: Did you have fake boobs at the time? Yes, Oh, interesting, okay, I. 00:37:31 Speaker 1: Got fake boobs at twenty okay. But I asked them if I could come in for full days, full eight hours, like two to three days a week. If you need me every day, I will be here. And I really worked a lot. Yeah, so that's what I was doing. I was doing my fit modeling and then drinking and living my best life. And I would go to Sir pretty often because my roommate soul sister, who I've known my entire life, Danny Shay, worked at Sir. 00:38:05 Speaker 2: So free drinks. 00:38:06 Speaker 1: Mm hm oh so fun, free food. 00:38:09 Speaker 2: That's amazing. 00:38:10 Speaker 3: Oh that's like I would give When I bartended downtown Nashville. All my friends came because it was free drinks for everyone, and I would heavy pour the shit out of them. Not good, they'd all be fucking wasted. 00:38:23 Speaker 1: All wasted, totally, but free. Yeah. And I would go to Einstein's every morning to get a bagel with cream cheese and dip it in mustard. 00:38:33 Speaker 4: I forgot you just opened up. I remember that now, walking there with Lily, just sitting out. 00:38:38 Speaker 2: Wow. 00:38:39 Speaker 3: I love Einstein. We went to Einstein's when we were in the podcast tour. While the three of us on a podcast tour would be so fun. I know you don't want it, but Eastern and I want it so bad. Maybe after the baby, maybe a few months after. 00:38:51 Speaker 1: Maybe just about a week. 00:38:53 Speaker 3: Okay, every this is interesting. Every season Giant cast photo. How does that work? 00:39:00 Speaker 2: For the season or at the end. 00:39:03 Speaker 1: The cast photo is at the end of the season. 00:39:06 Speaker 3: Okay, and what if you some of you aren't getting along, are you like, do you put it decide or do you just not talk to them? 00:39:11 Speaker 2: Because you're all in this cast photo. 00:39:13 Speaker 1: Everyone has different call times. Okay, usually we are all there at some point at the same time, but there are some that we're staggered as when we come in and staggered leaving. And this year, for season eleven, the cast photo was done. We were in. We weren't all together, so they cut us all in. 00:39:37 Speaker 2: But are you usually all together? 00:39:40 Speaker 1: Last year season ten, we were all together. 00:39:43 Speaker 3: This is a loaded question, but has anyone ever asked to be a part of the cast photo who's maybe not the main cast, but they think they're important enough to be part of the cast photo And they go, can I be part of the cast photo? 00:39:54 Speaker 2: And everyone's like, yeah, yeah, I guess I thought you were not going to answer directly. 00:40:00 Speaker 4: I wanted to be in it. 00:40:01 Speaker 2: That's so weird. 00:40:02 Speaker 3: But like, what is he he asked production and they go, I guess is that how it works? 00:40:07 Speaker 1: As was like to be in it, So it's so. 00:40:11 Speaker 3: Strange, weird and main Okay, this is my question. Main title So like, uh huh, who gets to be part of that? Are you like, like, are you like feeling so lucky if you're asked because you weren't part of it season four? 00:40:26 Speaker 1: Were you? I wasn't part of it season four or five? Once you get a title card, which is the introduction where your name appears, you're a main cast member. 00:40:36 Speaker 3: Okay, so you it's an official So are you asked before you're like, will you be a main cast member this year? 00:40:42 Speaker 2: And then you know, oh yeah, I'm going to be in the title card. That's how it works. 00:40:46 Speaker 1: No. I remember just getting an email that was just like, hey, this is when we're shooting. 00:40:52 Speaker 3: So you had already filmed the season and then you find out you're a main cast members. 00:40:58 Speaker 2: How it works? 00:40:58 Speaker 1: Yeah? Pretty much? 00:41:00 Speaker 6: I guess that makes it would make sense just to see how well they did for the season and then if you were And I'm just saying like, if you were a main and somebody like you weren't, but you put more stories, they could make you a ma a maze? 00:41:12 Speaker 4: Right? Is that maybe how it works too? Like what you gave us this season not indicate if you're a main or not? 00:41:18 Speaker 1: Was Ali? Did Ali have? Ali didn't have a title card? Right now? I don't think it's like, are you going to show up and prove yourself? Because if that were the case, I think I would have had one Season four and season five. I mean my storylines those seasons were pretty heavy, right. I was a main topic, right and I didn't get a mean title card. So I don't know how they judge it, to be honest, I have no idea, but we we shoot obviously, as you guys see with our outfits. Title cards and cast photos are shot on different days. Yes, the main titles take usually in the restaurants and then the others take place at a studio. 00:42:05 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:42:05 Speaker 3: Yeah, this could be really sweet or not at all. Which friendship do you miss? Is what they're asking. Are there any you think back on and you're like or maybe people you were friends with early seasons where you're like, yeah, we just didn't remain friends or anything like that. 00:42:25 Speaker 1: I really liked my friendship with They all have a really special place in my heart. 00:42:32 Speaker 2: Of course. 00:42:33 Speaker 1: I had a really fun, fun time with Arianna when I first was on the show. Katie my friendship with her season well, we were friends for a really long time. But season ten, I thought that that friendship was like really on point and you know served it's I don't want to say served its purpose, like I needed to get something out of it. But when I think back, I'm like, wow, that was even know it was a hard time in my life. That friendship really got me through a tough time in my life. So that friendship I was very I'm very fond of. I had really fun times with Kristen Dotie. I've had fun times where it was like I think about me and the witches of who where I'm like those There were so many fun times that if I could go back and relive those moments, I totally would. And although it's sad when things shift, and you know, Katie and I were very close, I don't think now we have anything in common, and that's okay, anything or most things don't. I don't even know what we would talk about. You know, we're just in such different places. And I think that friendship was meant to be the way it was for the time being, and it ran its course, and I think that that's totally okay. I have nothing but fond memories of that friendship. I have nothing but fond memories of the friendship I had with Ariana and Doty. But people change and move on and there's not a lot to talk about anymore, and we're just in different stages of life. So no matter why we fell off, I don't really give a shit. What I do know is the time that we had together I really enjoyed, and I wish them all the best. 00:44:32 Speaker 2: Yeah, I hear you. 00:44:33 Speaker 3: I will say, we're not far away from it now yet, and we don't know, like my personal fingers crossed. 00:44:40 Speaker 2: I'm like another season of vander Pump. 00:44:42 Speaker 3: But I think eventually, whenever it happens where maybe you guys are not part of the show anymore, and the shows and you're a bit distanced from it, you always have this special bond of being on this like iconic show, and I think it's just gonna like you're going to distance from it, and then there's gonna be space. You're all gonna be doing your own thing, and then I think you're gonna come back together because it's so special and you guys went through like so many crazy things. You have this pod of people and like the world. 00:45:14 Speaker 2: And like CNN and shit was talking about you. I just think it's really special. 00:45:18 Speaker 3: And like I said, I don't know if we're distance enough from it yet, like you guys just filmed last year. 00:45:23 Speaker 1: But I think that's why I really like doing these episodes, even though I kind of became anti for a second, I just needed some distance after season eleven. Now that we're kind of we've all rounded rounded it out. 00:45:41 Speaker 4: Fucking home. 00:45:42 Speaker 1: Yeah, you know now that we're kind of through the storm, because you know, you guys were catching heat after that, it became a lot And I have to say, like season ten, just that entire that entire situation that they named scan of all talk me a lot. I remember being on Watch Rabins Live and Andy asking about the mob mentality and I said, no, they fucked up. Let us have fun or whatever. And now that I've been on the other side of it where people and granted I didn't do anything that like Tom Sandoval, but I've been on the other side of the mob mentality and I don't look at it the same anymore. It's just interesting. What when you put the shoe on the other foot and you experience things that are very easy to be like, we'll get over it. It's like, Okay, well let's reverse the roles, and it's like, oh, well, I don't really like this. This doesn't feel that good. I think I've changed and I look at things differently, and I don't know that I would ever want to be a part of the mob mentality ever again and just be relentless on somebody, you know, unless they're like a murderer or something, or they go to sea world. Don't do it. 00:46:55 Speaker 2: We'll get you. 00:46:56 Speaker 1: But just my experiences in life these past couple years have really there's been a lot of shifting that's happened in kind of a short period of time. So when we do these episodes, it takes me to a place where I'm like, We've had so much fun. This has been like the best time, the best days of our lives. Yeah, the things that I preach to people where I'm like, it's not gonna last forever, even in like sad moments, just like enjoy the fuck out of it, right because people move on, People forget and then they only remember like the greatest of things, you know. So I'm glad that we do episodes like this because it does take me back to a place where I'm like Oh, we've all had so much fun together, and who cares if you know why we fell off. All I know is I've had a really fucking fun time. 00:47:48 Speaker 3: And these people, You've experienced something so unique and special with them that you will never again in your life. 00:47:54 Speaker 2: Experience with anyone else. And that's wild. 00:47:56 Speaker 4: Yeah, like what you said about that, like distancing yourself and I feel like you have a lot of outside noise, so once you get away from that, I could see that. Yeah, all three business women, Yeah, the. 00:48:09 Speaker 2: Whole crew coming back together. Are you kidding me? 00:48:11 Speaker 3: You'd be like friends, like when you saw friends them all come back together. Yeah, a freaking Vanderpump Rules reunion. But I'm still hoping another season. 00:48:20 Speaker 1: Baby, I love it. Thank you guys for listening to another episode of the Give Them La La podcast. I love you and I will catch you next week.
