<v Speaker 1>As we were discussing right off the air, You've got
<v Speaker 1>pages of notes. I've bet least got a page, and
<v Speaker 1>I can read some of my handwriting, but not all
<v Speaker 1>of it. So this should be a fun show. Welcome back, Michael.
<v Speaker 1>I hope everything's going well.
<v Speaker 3>Everything is going well, and thank you very much. You
<v Speaker 3>know I'm always humbled to be on the show. I
<v Speaker 3>just want to say that this is a great Catharsis
<v Speaker 3>for everything that's going on right now, and I hope
<v Speaker 3>that we are reaching out to people who need to
<v Speaker 3>really just entertain their brains during a bad time. But
<v Speaker 3>with that being said, how are you. What's new?
<v Speaker 1>Well, at a professional podcast level, we are trying to
<v Speaker 1>get video up and going, so that's that. On a
<v Speaker 1>personal level, I mean, I'm still home working at home,
<v Speaker 1>so that's not anything new. I think we're permanently teleworking
<v Speaker 1>from home, so that's fine with me, although I do
<v Speaker 1>want to get the hell out of the house sometimes.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, I mean, especially in the wrestling world right
<v Speaker 1>now too, boy oh boy, there is so much going
<v Speaker 1>on for no fans, essentially no fans being in an
<v Speaker 1>arena right now.
<v Speaker 3>So yeah, it's pretty cool. It's insane to me, like
<v Speaker 3>with the COVID outbreaks that they're having at the Performance Center. Obviously,
<v Speaker 3>I'm thinking that the whole continuance of basketball is not
<v Speaker 3>going to happen. But I can speculate all day, and
<v Speaker 3>that's not what we're here for. We're here to talk
<v Speaker 3>wrestling and that's what's important. So I did have a
<v Speaker 3>couple questions that came my way, and I wanted to
<v Speaker 3>bounce him off you and see what you thought about.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, go ahead and shoot.
<v Speaker 3>Okay. First question was from John Polka, and it's actually
<v Speaker 3>part of the news that came out this week, but
<v Speaker 3>I still want to get your opinion on it. He
<v Speaker 3>wanted to see or thoughts on when he thought that
<v Speaker 3>Walter would come to the main roster and become a big,
<v Speaker 3>major heel and a brick that no one can really
<v Speaker 3>touch and basically the guy that they wish Lars Sullivan
<v Speaker 3>should have been. Also, though, we know in the news
<v Speaker 3>that came out this week that Walter says he doesn't
<v Speaker 3>want to leave NXT UK because he has a lot
<v Speaker 3>of the UK obligations and that was part of his
<v Speaker 3>contract now twofold. An NXT contract versus the main roster
<v Speaker 3>contract is a lot of hundreds of thousands of dollars difficult.
<v Speaker 3>So with that being said, could you see Walter eventually
<v Speaker 3>coming over living in America which is another part of
<v Speaker 3>the article that he said he didn't want to live
<v Speaker 3>in America, but coming to America and becoming a big star,
<v Speaker 3>or do you think he would be wasted and be
<v Speaker 3>the next lout, big borger.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, A load of questions. So first of all, so
<v Speaker 1>first of all, let me just say this, I would
<v Speaker 1>love to see Walter on the main roster. I think
<v Speaker 1>there's a place for him. He has the look, he
<v Speaker 1>has everything that you need to be that monster heel.
<v Speaker 1>I would love it. Now, based on what the article
<v Speaker 1>that you're referring to, I did see he said he
<v Speaker 1>would not move to America, and as the UK champ,
<v Speaker 1>I don't see him in the near term coming up
<v Speaker 1>to raw or SmackDown. I believe that he has a
<v Speaker 1>nice little gig over there in his home country and
<v Speaker 1>being the n x TUK champion and being able to
<v Speaker 1>be a big fish in a small pond. Now, with
<v Speaker 1>that said, do I think eventually when I say eventually
<v Speaker 1>in the next two to three years, see Walter being
<v Speaker 1>coerced into or maybe changing his mind on coming up
<v Speaker 1>to the main roster, I would say I would lean
<v Speaker 1>towards yes, because I think what's going to happen is
<v Speaker 1>Walter will kind of run the gamut, if you will,
<v Speaker 1>He'll go through everyone there is essentially to go through,
<v Speaker 1>and he'll look around and he'll look at himself and say,
<v Speaker 1>you know, look, this is either my chance to make
<v Speaker 1>it or break it. I've gone through most of this
<v Speaker 1>roster I need to and hopefully he has this drive
<v Speaker 1>to try to make it at a higher level, and
<v Speaker 1>let's face it, NXT is we all don't like to
<v Speaker 1>refer to it as the minor leagues. It isn't, but
<v Speaker 1>we're still calling it NXT call ups, so we're still
<v Speaker 1>having that perception of NXT being the feeding ground, if
<v Speaker 1>you will, for Rawn SmackDown, they just are. So again,
<v Speaker 1>this is a big personal decision for Walter and he
<v Speaker 1>may never come up, but I think he will in
<v Speaker 1>the next two to three years because I think he'll
<v Speaker 1>realize that the big money is there. But to your
<v Speaker 1>second part of the question, wwe would they screw it up?
<v Speaker 1>We've seen it before, as you mentioned, we've seen them
<v Speaker 1>drop the ball big time before. Could this be another
<v Speaker 1>Hide and Reich? Maybe right, like, they could really screw
<v Speaker 1>this up. So if they have a long term plan
<v Speaker 1>and they're able to sell Walter on what exactly they're
<v Speaker 1>going to do with his character and he makes the
<v Speaker 1>personal decision and speaks with his family or I don't
<v Speaker 1>even know if he's married, to be honest, I'm not sure.
<v Speaker 1>But if he can make that personal decision to come
<v Speaker 1>to America, I think the real success will be un
<v Speaker 1>Raw or SmackDown in the big league, But he may
<v Speaker 1>end up being a forever big fish in a small
<v Speaker 1>pond in the UK.
<v Speaker 4>In n XT, I have to say that I really
<v Speaker 4>wish the best for him, because if he continues on
<v Speaker 4>the stands, eventually they'll probably let him go.
<v Speaker 3>But that's gonna be years down the road. It's gonna
<v Speaker 3>be main roster hit the Brooks. That's the way I
<v Speaker 3>see it. But what I really love about the fact
<v Speaker 3>that he was a guy that you could have seen
<v Speaker 3>against the Undertaker if you've built it a couple of
<v Speaker 3>years ahead of time. He's that size, The guy can move.
<v Speaker 3>He's such a great competitor. And I really, I really
<v Speaker 3>want to see Walter here in America. I want to
<v Speaker 3>see him just we'll get to Randy ort in the
<v Speaker 3>Big Show later, but the Big Show and Walter stir down.
<v Speaker 3>Think about that. That is money. It's you have the
<v Speaker 3>twilight of a career and you've got the beginning of
<v Speaker 3>a megastar, and you believe this megastar can do it.
<v Speaker 3>And I really see Soma.
<v Speaker 1>So all right.
<v Speaker 3>My other question for you, this comes from DJ Kuzmo,
<v Speaker 3>good favorite listener of the show. He says that he
<v Speaker 3>believes that that Corbyn cut has kind of the same
<v Speaker 3>JBL heat from the SmackDown era pre change and he
<v Speaker 3>believes that that that he's being wasted and what can
<v Speaker 3>be done to keep him from being just a human
<v Speaker 3>punching bag for all the wrestlers.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I've mentioned this before too, So here's the thing
<v Speaker 1>with Corbyn. I love his work. I think he is like,
<v Speaker 1>if you were going to give most improved wrestler over
<v Speaker 1>the last year, Corbyn would be one of them, if
<v Speaker 1>not the one that would win the award in my book,
<v Speaker 1>and I really agree. I agree it's a shame that
<v Speaker 1>Corbin is being just wasted as a really kind of
<v Speaker 1>a throwaway heel on SmackDown where they have very few
<v Speaker 1>heels that are of a top caliber. I mean when
<v Speaker 1>you look at the roster, it's not exactly a very
<v Speaker 1>deep heel roster. Yeah, you have aj styles, but with Corbin,
<v Speaker 1>what they need to do, and I've said this in
<v Speaker 1>my last show a few days ago, that they need
<v Speaker 1>to just let him build heat. He needs to win
<v Speaker 1>some matches. I don't care if it's by hook or crook.
<v Speaker 1>He gets on a roll and then he eventually gets henchman.
<v Speaker 1>He has nobody to back him up. His king gimmick
<v Speaker 1>is very see through. I want to Actually, it's kind
<v Speaker 1>of laughable. It's not angering I want to feel angry
<v Speaker 1>with a heel. I don't feel angry with Corbin. I
<v Speaker 1>just know I'm going to get a good promo and
<v Speaker 1>he's ended up going to end up on his back
<v Speaker 1>at the end of the night. And more often than
<v Speaker 1>not that's the case. They just never allow the heat
<v Speaker 1>to build for Corbin. They need to go on. He
<v Speaker 1>needs to go on weeks or months of a streak
<v Speaker 1>that is just blazing hot where he just gets nuclear heat.
<v Speaker 1>He wins and wins, and wins and wins, and you
<v Speaker 1>think he's gonna lose, he wins again. And they just
<v Speaker 1>don't do that. They can't even go the same show
<v Speaker 1>without blowing off the heat on Corbin. They just can't
<v Speaker 1>help themselves whatever, for whatever reason of they got to
<v Speaker 1>put smiles on people's faces or they want to make
<v Speaker 1>sure the crowd goes home happy. I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>the problem is, but I don't know why they don't
<v Speaker 1>take Corbin seriously and make him into a Megga heel,
<v Speaker 1>which I think he could be, because he's really good
<v Speaker 1>on the mic, and he's good in the ring and
<v Speaker 1>he has a gimmick that is dislikable. But the problem
<v Speaker 1>is they don't allow the character to build heat. So
<v Speaker 1>when they build, blow off the heat and the same show,
<v Speaker 1>and you continually see that you look at him and
<v Speaker 1>go you don't take him serious. So that's how that's
<v Speaker 1>how I would do it. I would build up heat
<v Speaker 1>for weeks and weeks, if not months.
<v Speaker 3>You've got a really good point there. Thought process with
<v Speaker 3>Corbin was when he first came up, I thought he
<v Speaker 3>was going to be pushed before Stroman and everybody else.
<v Speaker 3>They all had their spears and everything and all those
<v Speaker 3>I think it was like twenty seventeen perhaps building for
<v Speaker 3>the Royal Rumble, and he was the one who was
<v Speaker 3>looking like the badss. Okay, so as the lone wolf
<v Speaker 3>goes in there beats up people, doesn't say a word
<v Speaker 3>of these. Another person who never said a word in
<v Speaker 3>his initial first few months was Goldberg, and by hook
<v Speaker 3>or crook, we bought into it, and one way or
<v Speaker 3>another it got over, and I think Corburn was getting
<v Speaker 3>over that way. And then once he shaved his head
<v Speaker 3>and started acting like a stooge, it killed him. Now
<v Speaker 3>the direction I would have, excuse me, the stutter. The
<v Speaker 3>direction I would have went with him is that I
<v Speaker 3>would have at his size, at his height, I would
<v Speaker 3>have still shaved the head. Instead of being Kurt Angles Lackey,
<v Speaker 3>I would have went like a Randy Orton legend killer
<v Speaker 3>but and said he was a giant killer because like
<v Speaker 3>I said, well we'll get back to the big show,
<v Speaker 3>but he shouldn't be performing in main events, so go
<v Speaker 3>after the big show. Kine at this point was in Twilight,
<v Speaker 3>Go after King, go after Taker, the seven footers. That
<v Speaker 3>makes sense. He could have taken out big casts that
<v Speaker 3>it would have been a great write off. So anybody
<v Speaker 3>who was like just that tall to dominate and then
<v Speaker 3>you look at him as a kid, and then he
<v Speaker 3>could have won King of the Ring and that were
<v Speaker 3>the crown and the goofy pageantry. But just have this this,
<v Speaker 3>I've destroyed your legends, I've destroyed your giants. I'm the
<v Speaker 3>giants giants, I am the destroyer like I'm you know,
<v Speaker 3>Arnold Schwarzmaker, almost kind of coney and stuff but not campy.
<v Speaker 3>And I would buy it. And if he didn't lose
<v Speaker 3>to everybody every other week and act so silly with
<v Speaker 3>the scripted promos, yeah, he could be so main event
<v Speaker 3>in mind.
<v Speaker 1>Him, Yeah he could, and so a couple of things
<v Speaker 1>there and then I'll close it off. Of my comments
<v Speaker 1>with Baron Corbin, is that why they're not owning the
<v Speaker 1>kurd Angle win at WrestleMania is beyond me. That's very
<v Speaker 1>rarely brought up. I mean until you just mentioned kurd
<v Speaker 1>Angle and being as lackey like, I kind of forgot
<v Speaker 1>and I have to be reminded. And a victory like
<v Speaker 1>that over a name like that at WrestleMania should be
<v Speaker 1>something that he brags about almost every time. And it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't get reminded to us. It doesn't, it doesn't drive
<v Speaker 1>get driven home with us, and it should because that would,
<v Speaker 1>I think, legitimize the character instead of, as you called it,
<v Speaker 1>kind of being a joke character, which he is, and
<v Speaker 1>he has good delivery in his promos. They are scripted,
<v Speaker 1>for sure, but there's something there that if they just
<v Speaker 1>really let him loose, he could be a monster heel
<v Speaker 1>and they just, for whatever put him in this king gimmick.
<v Speaker 1>It worked for booker T. Booker T, though, was kind
<v Speaker 1>of lightning in a bottle with that thing, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>doing the whole you know, being a King of the
<v Speaker 1>Ring is truly getting to your head and now you
<v Speaker 1>think you're truly a king and your delusional. Booker T
<v Speaker 1>covered that very well. Booker T was masterful with it. It
<v Speaker 1>actually transformed his career with Queen Charmel, that whole thing,
<v Speaker 1>and they seem to have taken that same road with
<v Speaker 1>Baron Corbin, except number one, he's not Booker T. And
<v Speaker 1>Booker T is I think, much more talented. But they
<v Speaker 1>don't have anything. They don't happen to be with him.
<v Speaker 1>He has no royal party, so to speak. He has
<v Speaker 1>nobody to back him up. If he had a little
<v Speaker 1>bit of a backup, or if he had somebody to
<v Speaker 1>take his hits for him, maybe they'd be a little
<v Speaker 1>bit more heat. But he's always out there alone, just
<v Speaker 1>getting put on his back, and it's it's hard to
<v Speaker 1>watch because you see so much potential on a very
<v Speaker 1>he'll smack down Roster.
<v Speaker 3>No, you're absolutely right, and I would love for him
<v Speaker 3>to just go psycho like out of his gord and
<v Speaker 3>make his own belt with like a King of the
<v Speaker 3>Ring kind of and turn it into a TV championship,
<v Speaker 3>which is something that I've been wanting for a long time,
<v Speaker 3>because it's an easy way to book in the event.
<v Speaker 3>But the point is he just goes nuts and he's like, yeah,
<v Speaker 3>I'm King of the Ring, I'm King of ring, and
<v Speaker 3>he just loses it, takes his crown off, looks in
<v Speaker 3>the mirror and just says, you know, or am I
<v Speaker 3>a joke? And then creates a belt and then even
<v Speaker 3>a promo with Vince McMahon. What does the King of
<v Speaker 3>the Ring mean? Like ask him, like, what does it
<v Speaker 3>really mean? What if I want a tournament? Does that
<v Speaker 3>make me a king? And then create a new title
<v Speaker 3>instead that twenty four to seven. God off the garbage
<v Speaker 3>that has to be defended every time he's on TV
<v Speaker 3>and just destroy people over and over again. And I
<v Speaker 3>wouldn't do just the Bowie wins with a choke slammer,
<v Speaker 3>a power bomb or the end of the Days where
<v Speaker 3>the you know, deep sit. I would have him just
<v Speaker 3>after after the bell, like they have to call people
<v Speaker 3>in and maybe even have a commission of coming in
<v Speaker 3>and say, if you don't stop brutalizing these people after
<v Speaker 3>the bell, we're gonna have to suspend you. And that
<v Speaker 3>will make very important.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, And that's the thing. Maybe there's no dark side
<v Speaker 1>to him. It's it's very kind of jokey, it's easily
<v Speaker 1>see through. It's very surface level type of character. There's
<v Speaker 1>there's really no depth. And if we saw a dark
<v Speaker 1>side to him, we're right. He did something that was
<v Speaker 1>just dastardly instead of pouring dog food on people and
<v Speaker 1>and all this stuff, like, actually do something that is
<v Speaker 1>despicable make people hate you, instead of making people laugh
<v Speaker 1>at you and go, yeah, well, you know you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>get put on your back by the end of the night,
<v Speaker 1>so I have no interest in actually booing you. That's
<v Speaker 1>that's exactly what this character needs. Maybe he just eventually

<v Speaker 1>he's been charged basically with being a bad guy, and
<v Speaker 1>he had sexual assault charges filed against him by an
<v Speaker 1>independent wrestler, and I discussed this at length at a
<v Speaker 1>couple of shows ago, and WWE doesn't seem to be
<v Speaker 1>concerned about this. They seem to be just kind of
<v Speaker 1>moving forward. They seem to be moving ahead as if
<v Speaker 1>this is not going to be actually he's not going
<v Speaker 1>to actually be or arrested or basically put in jail
<v Speaker 1>for this, that he is going to be fine. They
<v Speaker 1>feel that very confident given the fact that he beat
<v Speaker 1>aj Styles the day after this news broke and now
<v Speaker 1>this week he is back at the very beginning of
<v Speaker 1>the show with Michael Cole. So, I guess I'll just
<v Speaker 1>touch on what do you make of the sexual assault
<v Speaker 1>allegations and how did you like that first promo with
<v Speaker 1>Michael Cole to open the show?
<v Speaker 3>Uh, Michael Coles, Michael Cole, you know, it's it is
<v Speaker 3>what it is, but it wasn't bad. But nothing really
<v Speaker 3>popped to me. Now, with all that being said, as
<v Speaker 3>far as Matt Riddle's allegations, if he had really true allegations,
<v Speaker 3>he would be either in jail. And I know Vince
<v Speaker 3>McMahon can afford to get anybody out of jail, but
<v Speaker 3>I know a lot of a lot of police officers
<v Speaker 3>which that might turn off listeners, but you know they're
<v Speaker 3>good people. You know they're who you're gonna call when
<v Speaker 3>things go bad. But I the fact that he and
<v Speaker 3>his girlfriend and I don't know, like so many people
<v Speaker 3>can can vouch for the fact that whoever was coming
<v Speaker 3>at him is a stalker, leads a lot more uh
<v Speaker 3>believability in his situation. Then the fact that like Joey
<v Speaker 3>Ryan and all these people who are deleting Twitter and
<v Speaker 3>going on and going on and going on. So I'm
<v Speaker 3>not going to say that I believe him. I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>I wasn't there. But the fact is when his girlfriend
<v Speaker 3>is saying, you're stalking, you know, you're stalking this guy,
<v Speaker 3>and she's part of this like anti defamation, I guess
<v Speaker 3>that would be the best way to put it. Right
<v Speaker 3>of character, Yeah, yeah, yeah, So it's anti defamation of character.
<v Speaker 3>And I believe that. I think that his case might
<v Speaker 3>be and not because I'm a fan of his, but
<v Speaker 3>I think that his case might be special like some
<v Speaker 3>of the other people. And I have nothing against Joey Ryan,
<v Speaker 3>but if he did it, he did it. It's just
<v Speaker 3>really weird that he's in that character and everything else
<v Speaker 3>that kind of says you know, you'd believe it. But
<v Speaker 3>the fact is, I think there's a lot more evidence
<v Speaker 3>behind the fact that he's not doing this. He didn't
<v Speaker 3>get fired, he didn't get furloughed, he didn't get screwed,
<v Speaker 3>and he got promoted up to SmackDown HM. So either
<v Speaker 3>McMahon really loves him and wants to push him and
<v Speaker 3>will pay for him like snook a tie snook a, Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>I went there, or And that's that's why I could
<v Speaker 3>just let my starting is bad to him, That's why
<v Speaker 3>I could just leave it. You know, I I I
<v Speaker 3>really don't think he did anything. I think that I'm
<v Speaker 3>not gonna say he was a victim, but I think
<v Speaker 3>that when you have the support of of your girlfriend
<v Speaker 3>and somebody putting it out there saying I've seen all
<v Speaker 3>this information and yes it's BS and it's that, it
<v Speaker 3>kind of builds up and shows you, yes, this isn't right.
<v Speaker 1>I agree. And again I've spoken a little bit at
<v Speaker 1>length of this. I believe I was on with Mary
<v Speaker 1>Greater a few weeks ago and when this whole thing
<v Speaker 1>broke and they put aj Styles on the day after,
<v Speaker 1>and I said, you know, given the fact that was
<v Speaker 1>a pre recorded segment. They could have easily just cut
<v Speaker 1>him out and put something else in its place for
<v Speaker 1>the first segment of SmackDown when that happened, and they didn't,
<v Speaker 1>and they decided to go ahead with it. And I
<v Speaker 1>think that when any of these allegations that come out,
<v Speaker 1>WWE clearly needs to do their due diligence and speak
<v Speaker 1>with that performer and say, hey, you need to tell
<v Speaker 1>me the truth now, because if it comes out that
<v Speaker 1>you are actually guilty of this, and we go ahead
<v Speaker 1>with putting you on SmackDown and it comes out that
<v Speaker 1>you were lying to us, you're fired. So Matt Riddle
<v Speaker 1>is either lying and really sweating bullets that nothing else
<v Speaker 1>comes out, or he truly didn't do anything and that
<v Speaker 1>Candy Cartwright is clearly just a nutshob. I mean, it's possible.
<v Speaker 1>And I think that if that's the case, and Matt
<v Speaker 1>Riddle didn't do anything and WWE has just moved forward,
<v Speaker 1>I think that's the right message to send, to just
<v Speaker 1>move forward unless there's substantial evidence otherwise, because if you don't,
<v Speaker 1>then you were just sending the message and setting the
<v Speaker 1>precedent that anybody can accuse anybody of anything, especially when
<v Speaker 1>it comes to females accusing males of sexual abuse in
<v Speaker 1>this speaking out movement, and it sets the precedent for
<v Speaker 1>really anybody to say something and automatically pull that person
<v Speaker 1>off the air. It creates an enormous amount of power
<v Speaker 1>for that person just by saying something, even if it's
<v Speaker 1>totally untrue. So I think WWE going ahead with this
<v Speaker 1>tells you two things. One, they don't believe Matt Riddle
<v Speaker 1>did it, and if they it comes out that he lied,
<v Speaker 1>he's probably gone. Or and two that it also kind
<v Speaker 1>of goes in the face of Candy Cartwright and anybody
<v Speaker 1>else who thinks that they're gonna be able to just
<v Speaker 1>put something on Twitter and say, you know, uh, Randy
<v Speaker 1>Orton sexually assaulted me back in twenty seventeen, and then
<v Speaker 1>have Randy Orton get pulled, so and So get pulled.
<v Speaker 1>It creates a really a toxic environment for people who
<v Speaker 1>are who like to cause destruction and who realize that
<v Speaker 1>they have the power to do that just by a
<v Speaker 1>simple accusation with no evidence. So again, if Matt Reel
<v Speaker 1>did this, of course wrong, bad bad guy, bad job.
<v Speaker 1>Fire him, especially if he lied and now he's caught
<v Speaker 1>whatever of course, do I think he's did it. No,
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to go with the typical justice premise that
<v Speaker 1>guilty or I'm sorry, not guilty into a proven innocent

<v Speaker 1>why he doesn't wear shoes was bizarre. He said, bro,
<v Speaker 1>way way too many times he kind of comes off
<v Speaker 1>and if nobody's ever seen him before, he kind of
<v Speaker 1>gets that vibe of like an obnoxious frat bro that
<v Speaker 1>is like that he's like the jock in the group
<v Speaker 1>that is just a total a hole. At least that's
<v Speaker 1>the vibe I get that. He's just kind of the
<v Speaker 1>jock kid that's like in the too cool for school
<v Speaker 1>crowd with the fraternity, and he's built as the baby
<v Speaker 1>face now, but boy, he could be a heal quickly.
<v Speaker 1>And his explanation of not wearing shoes was really weird.
<v Speaker 1>About frostbite and how the doctors were going to amputate
<v Speaker 1>and then how he still doesn't have feeling. If he
<v Speaker 1>didn't have feeling in his feet. Okay, first of all,
<v Speaker 1>you can get damage from frostbite, and you can have
<v Speaker 1>permanent damage in your nerves, but there are Number one,
<v Speaker 1>there would be discoloration right like when you get frostbite,
<v Speaker 1>and if you got that severe frostbite, your feet would
<v Speaker 1>not look completely normal. And number two, you wouldn't be
<v Speaker 1>able to compete at the level that Matt Riddle competed,
<v Speaker 1>because Yeah, if you can't feel your feet, that means
<v Speaker 1>your brain doesn't know all the time where your feet
<v Speaker 1>are placed in your balance could be off. You would
<v Speaker 1>not have been able to get to the level you're at.

<v Speaker 3>to buy that you're afraid of frostbite after all these years,
<v Speaker 3>especially who you've been a UFC fighter and you were
<v Speaker 3>as tough as you are, and I've watched his fights.

<v Speaker 1>that's even better. But the fact of the matter is
<v Speaker 1>not even for Jeff Hardy, but for people literally struggling
<v Speaker 1>struggling with this on a daily basis. Alcoholism is one
<v Speaker 1>of the biggest, uh biggest diseases that are running around
<v Speaker 1>in the world. I mean, it is the it's it's devastating.

<v Speaker 1>And boy, they are treading in dangerous water doing this.

<v Speaker 1>alcohol related incidents. So I mean, it's just it's not good.

<v Speaker 1>that have alcohol use disorder in the United States. Like,
<v Speaker 1>so this is a big thing for them to even
<v Speaker 1>touch on. Again, I'm not offended by it. Luckily, I
<v Speaker 1>have not had to deal with something like this. Of
<v Speaker 1>course I did my partying in my college years, but
<v Speaker 1>it never was something that stuck with me and was
<v Speaker 1>a problem for me on a daily basis. Not that

<v Speaker 1>never became like a habit or a disease or something
<v Speaker 1>I relied on a daily basis to get through things.

<v Speaker 1>close friend or a friend of a friend that has
<v Speaker 1>serious problems. So again, it's just dangerous, especially for a
<v Speaker 1>company that is so concerned about image and public image
<v Speaker 1>and bullying awareness all these things, and they're touching on
<v Speaker 1>something that. Man, I mean, what if somebody is watching
<v Speaker 1>that and you know, I just I'm an alcohol abuser.
<v Speaker 1>I have a massive problem with alcohol, and I'm turning
<v Speaker 1>on wrestling because you know, it should be something that's
<v Speaker 1>an escape from my reality. And they're now talking about
<v Speaker 1>alcoholism with Jeff Hardy, and I see them displaying all
<v Speaker 1>this liquor, and then I get in my mind like, hmm, boy,
<v Speaker 1>that liquor is kind of looks good, right, they got
<v Speaker 1>all these different things, and yeah, they turn the labels around,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm like, that stuff looks kind of good. And
<v Speaker 1>you know what if there's those side effects, I don't know.

<v Speaker 1>So all right. Moving on to something that I enjoyed
<v Speaker 1>was Aj Styles and Drew Gulak for the Intercontinental title. Again,
<v Speaker 1>Gulac is just super super sound in the ring. I
<v Speaker 1>could watch AJ and Gulac go at it for an hour.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Gulac is again a master's so is Aj Styles.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, without being that even being said, it was
<v Speaker 1>interesting to have Daniel Bryan popping in on a zoom call,
<v Speaker 1>which we all know is probably just pre taped, and
<v Speaker 1>they were just say, hey, you got to ask this question,
<v Speaker 1>and they plug in Daniel Bryan's video whatever. That's fine,
<v Speaker 1>but I've never seen that before where there's video interviews
<v Speaker 1>happening or commentary happening in the middle of the match.
<v Speaker 1>I was fine with it because it was pertaining to
<v Speaker 1>the match, so I like that and having the only
<v Speaker 1>thing I didn't like, well, the outcome was predictable. I
<v Speaker 1>never really thought Gulak was gonna win. AJ won very decisively.
<v Speaker 1>There was no hook or crook. It was a true
<v Speaker 1>victory by AJ hartfought victory was that we never heard
<v Speaker 1>from Gulac, at least unless I missed it. Like I
<v Speaker 1>didn't hear anything from Drew Gulac, because if you're in
<v Speaker 1>a match for the Intercontinental title, wouldn't you want to
<v Speaker 1>know what this means to that person. Wouldn't you want
<v Speaker 1>to know, like why they want to win, what their
<v Speaker 1>aspirations are, what it's going to mean if they win it.
<v Speaker 1>And we didn't hear anything from Drew. He was just
<v Speaker 1>kind of like this the guy that's just kind of
<v Speaker 1>silently walking to the ring, and Daniel Bryan, I guess
<v Speaker 1>by default did some talking for him during the match.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, but it was a very sound match,
<v Speaker 1>and I again. I wouldn't mind if these two locked
<v Speaker 1>up again in the future.
<v Speaker 3>I'd love to see it too. Honestly, I think Drew
<v Speaker 3>Gulac is very underrated, same as Tony Niece. A lot
<v Speaker 3>of people didn't realize. Tony Niece is incredibly talented, and
<v Speaker 3>he and Gulac came up together and they had so
<v Speaker 3>much chemistry, so much great chemistry, and I think that's
<v Speaker 3>why they were signed at the same time, which coincides
<v Speaker 3>with a Cruiserweight Classic. But to watch this matchic great.
<v Speaker 3>The holding him on the ropes at the end for
<v Speaker 3>the forearm, it concerned me a little bit, but you know,
<v Speaker 3>I mean, let's get down to it, like these guys
<v Speaker 3>can go and this is what we want to see.
<v Speaker 3>We don't want to see cinematic and give me twenty minutes.
<v Speaker 3>Give me twenty minutes of these two. And it sucks
<v Speaker 3>because we both understand the fact that we always know
<v Speaker 3>who's gonna win. It's so predictable. Now with that being said,
<v Speaker 3>I rather this is the one time I would want
<v Speaker 3>something hokey to be in there, just to make it
<v Speaker 3>like Glack had that extra a little push, that extra
<v Speaker 3>little oh my, he might do it. But oh god.
<v Speaker 3>These guys are technicians, you know, and you've got a
<v Speaker 3>twenty year vet and a fifteen year vet just doing
<v Speaker 3>their stuff. And I promise you, if it wasn't produced,
<v Speaker 3>these guys could have done a lot more. I just
<v Speaker 3>want to watch them wrestle all day.
<v Speaker 1>Oh I could have these two. You talk about wrestling purists,
<v Speaker 1>like with Sazara, I mean like these two from a
<v Speaker 1>fundamental perspective, they are absolute. I mean ring generals. I
<v Speaker 1>mean Aj obviously is the much more pronounced star in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, but that doesn't mean Dreue Gulac is any
<v Speaker 1>less talented. And anytime Tregulac is in the ring, especially
<v Speaker 1>when he faced against Daniel Brian and team of Daniel Brian,
<v Speaker 1>there was so much there and I hope that Drew
<v Speaker 1>Gulak it doesn't just go into obscurity after this. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>he lost clean and fairly to a heel and he
<v Speaker 1>but he lost to a top tier heel. There's no
<v Speaker 1>shame in that. But that doesn't mean you need to
<v Speaker 1>go bury Drew Gulac, and I honestly don't think they
<v Speaker 1>will because he's associated with Daniel Bryan. He's like the
<v Speaker 1>extension or arm of Daniel Brian, and by that effect,
<v Speaker 1>I think Daniel Brian honestly saved his career from a
<v Speaker 1>true perspective, because Drew Gulac, if you remember, was fired
<v Speaker 1>and then brought back. Yes, so I think a lot
<v Speaker 1>of the head to do with Daniel Bryan's influence on
<v Speaker 1>his on camera, on camera persona that people otherwise would
<v Speaker 1>have been like. I mean, if you didn't follow Drew
<v Speaker 1>Gulac until he got to the main roster, you'd be like,
<v Speaker 1>who cares this guy's giving power proper presentations. We could
<v Speaker 1>do without him. But then you get he gets in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, then he gets associated with Daniel Bryan, and
<v Speaker 1>his career literally was saved by that storyline, I believe
<v Speaker 1>of being associated with Daniel Bryan and in it working
<v Speaker 1>and ww not planning on it working like that. So
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure that Gulak is forever in debt to Daniel
<v Speaker 1>Brian on a real level. So okay, yeah, no, I.
<v Speaker 3>Was gonna say, you know, I could see that Drew
<v Speaker 3>gul act but when I when I watched him on
<v Speaker 3>the indies and stuff like that, I mean, he and
<v Speaker 3>Tony Nice used to light it up. They were like
<v Speaker 3>adversaries like a C H and cpric Alen Sander. That's
<v Speaker 3>why Vince went on that hiring spree to get not
<v Speaker 3>only a wrestler, but they're foil so they could make
<v Speaker 3>their own false, you know, version of it. But I
<v Speaker 3>I I love the fact that Dan O'Brien has reinvented this,
<v Speaker 3>uh reinvented Drew's career. But I also love the fact
<v Speaker 3>that he is putting on great matches in a situation
<v Speaker 3>where no one wants to be present in a weird place.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, there's so many people who are under contract
<v Speaker 3>and Drew, damn it, Drew Gulak is taking you know,
<v Speaker 3>charge with this and he's he's doing a great job.
<v Speaker 3>And yeah, I can watch these guy's Russell all day.
<v Speaker 3>I really want to watch them, Russell Moore, and I
<v Speaker 3>hope that this actually continues more. And I want to
<v Speaker 3>see Drew get out of Daniel's shadow and just kind
<v Speaker 3>of become like his own man. He's gonna need a
<v Speaker 3>little bit of a niche or a what am I
<v Speaker 3>looking for? Like just his own character a little bit.
<v Speaker 3>You just can't be a great wrestler because, like we
<v Speaker 3>talked about Cesarrow, it just doesn't work. So I want,
<v Speaker 3>not an attitude, but a character, just something.
<v Speaker 1>A personality. I mean, I'm sure he has one, he
<v Speaker 1>just needs to show it. And that's where really the
<v Speaker 1>connection and money is truly made. I mean, he can
<v Speaker 1>be great in the ring, just like Ciarrow is great
<v Speaker 1>in the ring. But the fact is, if you don't
<v Speaker 1>have a gimmick or a personality that you can turn
<v Speaker 1>up to ten, it's never gonna work on a big
<v Speaker 1>on a high level for a long time. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>that's why you're seeing guys go up and down and
<v Speaker 1>up and down and kind of a plug and play
<v Speaker 1>type of scenario, where like with Dolf Ziggler and we'll
<v Speaker 1>get to that too, but you know, he's never going
<v Speaker 1>to really really make it to the top. He's kind
<v Speaker 1>of defined in his position. He's really kind of under
<v Speaker 1>lock and key in a certain position in WWE. He
<v Speaker 1>just is at this point. So but kind of closing
<v Speaker 1>out SmackDown. And I know that there's probably some little
<v Speaker 1>things on SmackDown it didn't cover, but some my apologies
<v Speaker 1>and maybe you can bring him up. But and Sasha,
<v Speaker 1>who are just to me, they seem to be on
<v Speaker 1>the run of their careers at least as a team.
<v Speaker 1>They have found their footing and it took a while.
<v Speaker 1>And we've noted on this podcast and many other shows
<v Speaker 1>that have happened that Bailey at first was kind of
<v Speaker 1>finding her footing. It was kind of weird to watch.
<v Speaker 1>She just went from happy, go lucky side ponytail waving,
<v Speaker 1>wacky waveable inflatable two men type of entrances to this
<v Speaker 1>dark character and it was very stark and she didn't
<v Speaker 1>really know who in what the dark Kailor character of
<v Speaker 1>Bailey was and she's morphed into this obnoxious, almost unbeatable
<v Speaker 1>lucky at times. The character that is just feels she
<v Speaker 1>feels comfortable. And Sasha, to her credit, has I think
<v Speaker 1>held up her into the bargain as well. She's got
<v Speaker 1>tag team gold. But it's weird to me the dynamic
<v Speaker 1>has changed from Bailey being in the shadow of Sasha
<v Speaker 1>to Sasha being in the shadow of Bailey. It's it's crazy,
<v Speaker 1>but that's how I feel and how much and how
<v Speaker 1>great Bailey has been as a heel, and now she
<v Speaker 1>seems to be having Nicky Cross, who's up next to
<v Speaker 1>face her for the women's Championship. I don't think Nicki
<v Speaker 1>Cross will beat her spoiler alert, But how are you
<v Speaker 1>liking Sasha and Bailey as there as the tag team champion?
<v Speaker 1>Maybe you're not on a high as high on them
<v Speaker 1>as I am, or maybe maybe you are, but curious,
<v Speaker 1>where are you on them?
<v Speaker 3>Okay, first of all, I love Sasha Bailey because they
<v Speaker 3>can both work, and they put on classic matches against
<v Speaker 3>each other. So I know, in the ring, if they're
<v Speaker 3>gonna take on say the Iconics or any hodgepodg you know,
<v Speaker 3>Bliss and across, you know what, they can do whatever
<v Speaker 3>they want to do in that ring, they can call it.
<v Speaker 3>It's gonna be beautiful. I love Bailey has so become
<v Speaker 3>the antithesis of what she was in NXT, which is beautiful.
<v Speaker 3>They always say, if you're really good at something, you're
<v Speaker 3>better at the other thing, and and she is. She
<v Speaker 3>her look is different, the T shirt kind of you know,
<v Speaker 3>I don't know, leggings kind of thing. It's it's not
<v Speaker 3>the Bailey that hugged and had her little animatronics and
<v Speaker 3>stuff like that. Like this is a great character. She's
<v Speaker 3>gonna go far as far as Sasha goes. I love Sasha.
<v Speaker 3>I think everybody says Charlotte's best or Oscar. I really
<v Speaker 3>think Sasha is She's worked for all of them, and honestly,
<v Speaker 3>there is no bad way that any of those girls
<v Speaker 3>can go right now with who you have. Because Nikki
<v Speaker 3>Crost is talented. People do not give her her credit
<v Speaker 3>because she's not as pretty as the rest. Well you
<v Speaker 3>know what, watch your indie stuff. She's as talented as
<v Speaker 3>the rest, and she brings character and depth and texture.
<v Speaker 3>And then you have you know, Alexa Bliss. I have
<v Speaker 3>a soft spot for because I think she really learned
<v Speaker 3>the business on the fly and she got pushed really
<v Speaker 3>hard and got put into really awesome main event situations
<v Speaker 3>really fast when she wasn't ready, and she just kept
<v Speaker 3>going and going. And if people want to say she's bad,
<v Speaker 3>well then just you know, look a couple that a
<v Speaker 3>couple years back to the Divas, and I think you'll
<v Speaker 3>see like a night and day difference. So I'm loving
<v Speaker 3>where this is going. What I really want to see.
<v Speaker 3>I don't really want to see Bailey and Sasha go
<v Speaker 3>at it yet. I want to see it stretch out
<v Speaker 3>a little bit and then both win championship gold and
<v Speaker 3>they go against each other as a women's champion Women's
<v Speaker 3>champion head to head, because I think with them laying
<v Speaker 3>off so many people, they're gonna start shrinking the amount
<v Speaker 3>of championships. They have to start combining the titles like
<v Speaker 3>they did back in the two thousands.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they could be. I mean I'm fine with that.
<v Speaker 1>To me, I like fewer championships because they may more
<v Speaker 1>when you have fewer, and it's just simple economics supplying demand.
<v Speaker 1>You have more of something, it's worth less. Same thing
<v Speaker 1>goes with pro wrestling. They're not exempt of that philosophy.
<v Speaker 1>And it's interesting that you mentioned about Bailey and High
<v Speaker 1>going out one another, because I think for so long
<v Speaker 1>many of us thought it's coming, it's coming, it's coming,
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna happen, and you see cracks, and you see
<v Speaker 1>Bailey speaking for Sasha and Sasha getting annoyed and not
<v Speaker 1>answering the interview questions, and then Sasha this week made
<v Speaker 1>a match for Bailey. So there's tit for tat and
<v Speaker 1>they're teasing it. But at the same time, I've actually
<v Speaker 1>reached a point where I'm not ready for them to
<v Speaker 1>break up. I mean, I'm actually kind of on the
<v Speaker 1>side of let's wait as long as possible, and I
<v Speaker 1>was actually not on the I was on the other
<v Speaker 1>side of the fence for months, and now I've seen
<v Speaker 1>what they've done their body of work over the last
<v Speaker 1>several months, and I'm like, they're damn good together. They're
<v Speaker 1>great TV. In WW, I think feels the same way,
<v Speaker 1>given the fact that they're on every single show, They're
<v Speaker 1>on commentary, even if they're not in a match, they're
<v Speaker 1>on commentary. They have just been a great I look
<v Speaker 1>forward to them now they are a staple of the shows.
<v Speaker 1>I hope that this is a obnox slee long run
<v Speaker 1>with these two before they finally decide to pull the
<v Speaker 1>trigger and you know, make them enemies. I think if
<v Speaker 1>I'm WWE and I hope that they have the same
<v Speaker 1>type of ideology that they decide to wait until they're
<v Speaker 1>back in front of a full audience, or at least
<v Speaker 1>a half full audience, where if something like this happens,
<v Speaker 1>you want that instant crowd reaction. You want the sound
<v Speaker 1>of the fans cheering or booing or whatever it may be,

<v Speaker 1>the part, that's the emotion, that's the soul of pro wrestling,

<v Speaker 1>talking about the ten people surrounding Ringside, given it certainly
<v Speaker 1>helps the presentation that's not a true representation of the
<v Speaker 1>WWE fans of how they feel at times, so that
<v Speaker 1>I hope they wait until that happens, whenever it may
<v Speaker 1>be again, depending on the coronavirus and how it spreads
<v Speaker 1>and it's up and it's down and spiking here and
<v Speaker 1>there and everywhere. I don't know. I mean, we may
<v Speaker 1>not see it in twenty twenty, and that's the sad thing.

<v Speaker 1>was kind of getting annoyed them, like let's just get

<v Speaker 1>they're really good together, so obnoxious, particularly Bailey. So I'm

<v Speaker 3>when it's going to be the most perfect boiling point.

<v Speaker 3>writing they can do with this, because this is one
<v Speaker 3>of the few few not even a feud, but storylines
<v Speaker 3>that they're doing so right right now, you know, there's
<v Speaker 3>so much goofy storylines like do we care about the
<v Speaker 3>street profits and the vikingators know, but do we care
<v Speaker 3>about this? Yes? And that's what we're talking about.
<v Speaker 1>It I lost you there exactly. I mean that is
<v Speaker 1>that's the thing. And it's a sad thing with the
<v Speaker 1>Viking creators in the Street Profits that I don't even
<v Speaker 1>care about the Row Tag Team Championships because we've been
<v Speaker 1>told that competing in you know, high school track events
<v Speaker 1>is more important than what's actually around their waist. And
<v Speaker 1>they're getting paid six figures or more to be there,
<v Speaker 1>and that we were told that everyone who's in WWE,
<v Speaker 1>it's their dream to be there. We heard it from
<v Speaker 1>Matt Rurtal this week. It's my dream. All I've wanted
<v Speaker 1>to do since I was a little boy or little
<v Speaker 1>girl is being WWE Superstar. We hear the same nonsense
<v Speaker 1>all the time, the same corporately injected speech that everybody
<v Speaker 1>has to say that this is the best place to
<v Speaker 1>be and we got to be here. And yet somebody
<v Speaker 1>who has a championship, which apparently everyone's supposed to be chasing.
<v Speaker 1>We have the champions and the belts have camera crews
<v Speaker 1>follow them to apparently a local high school track and
<v Speaker 1>field event and have them jump over hurdles, and they
<v Speaker 1>have them do bowling, and they have them do basketball
<v Speaker 1>and all those things.
<v Speaker 3>It's meaning.
<v Speaker 1>It just gets me, Yeah, it is, and and I
<v Speaker 1>you know, it's a shame because of how talented the
<v Speaker 1>Street Profits are, particularly in the ring, and what this
<v Speaker 1>this could be. Instead, Vince sees them and sees a
<v Speaker 1>small amount of comedy and jumps all over it. You know,
<v Speaker 1>that's what he does. When he sees a inch an
<v Speaker 1>inch of comedy, he takes it four miles with comedy
<v Speaker 1>and then just beats it into the ground. And it's
<v Speaker 1>terribly presented. And the biggest victim of all are those
<v Speaker 1>smack are the raw tag team titles for for uh,
<v Speaker 1>for the who are around the waist of the Street Profits.
<v Speaker 1>It's a damn shame, but hopefully they're transitioning out of
<v Speaker 1>that with these two. Now, I think the one. I
<v Speaker 1>believe that these two are done feuding and what was
<v Speaker 1>a very friendly few to begin with, So I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I'm transitioning to it was it was no,
<v Speaker 1>it's all good.
<v Speaker 3>It was it was like so watered down of what
<v Speaker 3>could be really good wrestling. Instead, you turned what could
<v Speaker 3>be the new version of the Road Warriors into the Berserker,
<v Speaker 3>and you took what could have been a great tag
<v Speaker 3>team and made them basically and they're they're trying to
<v Speaker 3>make a new New Day out of the street profits
<v Speaker 3>and I hate it. I hate it because that seems racial.
<v Speaker 3>So what's your gimmick? Think about that?
<v Speaker 1>Yep, I'm with you. I mean, I'm not going to
<v Speaker 1>bury this. I've killed it for many weeks because it's
<v Speaker 1>just an embarrassment. I don't I don't value comedy or
<v Speaker 1>even I don't even value good comedy over the importance
<v Speaker 1>of the championships that we're supposed to all care about
<v Speaker 1>because the superstars, the wrestlers are supposed to care about it.
<v Speaker 1>And when they don't care about it, and the actual
<v Speaker 1>company itself doesn't because they're bringing camera crews to these
<v Speaker 1>so called events that they're doing off site, then how
<v Speaker 1>the hell is a viewer, am I supposed to care
<v Speaker 1>about these championships. They're nothing more than props, They're toys.
<v Speaker 1>It's a joke, and on top of it, it's bad comedy.
<v Speaker 1>So it's it's an f all the way around with that.
<v Speaker 1>And that's a damn shame to see, given that montes
<v Speaker 1>Ford especially is so damn talented. It's insane, and I
<v Speaker 1>think eventually the things will turn around. I mean, it
<v Speaker 1>can't get much worse from a presentation standpoint. I hope
<v Speaker 1>they keep these things in the ring. If they want
<v Speaker 1>to be obnoxious backstage and have montes forward with the
<v Speaker 1>cup and talk about wanting smoke and all that, fine,
<v Speaker 1>it's not my cup of tea, but at least it's
<v Speaker 1>a wrestling personality that's backstage where he should be, you know,
<v Speaker 1>at the arena at the event, instead of you know,
<v Speaker 1>playing make believe out at a local high school track team.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, so this, to me, it's a it's a
<v Speaker 1>absolute embarrassment for the Raw Tag Team Championships, which to
<v Speaker 1>me are the biggest victim of the belts. And as
<v Speaker 1>a wrestling fan, of course, you and I just despise
<v Speaker 1>this stuff. But okay, but something I didn't despise, something
<v Speaker 1>I really really love right now in at raw is
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins and Seth Rollins and raymis Stereo and Dominic
<v Speaker 1>and even Alistair Black and umberto career injecting themselves as
<v Speaker 1>like kind of the equalizers if you will, against Murphy
<v Speaker 1>and Austin theory. This is turning out, really to me,
<v Speaker 1>exceeding expectations from when this whole thing started. You know,
<v Speaker 1>you look at raymisterio, and you're like, this guy's on
<v Speaker 1>the back nine of his career. He's you know, he's
<v Speaker 1>got a little bit left to give, but probably not
<v Speaker 1>a whole lot. And my god, has he proved us
<v Speaker 1>all wrong on his really second run here in WWE.
<v Speaker 1>It has been a delight to see him every week
<v Speaker 1>this especially with Seth Rollins. I did not expect these
<v Speaker 1>two to have this great of chemistry. The storyline has
<v Speaker 1>been generally presented well. Dominic is not playing and not
<v Speaker 1>playing make believe either. He seems to be all in.
<v Speaker 1>He seems to be taking this seriously. This whole thing
<v Speaker 1>is really really good. Having Seth come out this week
<v Speaker 1>and talk about how he's gonna beg for forgiveness, we
<v Speaker 1>were told he's gonna beg for forgiveness, and it turned out,
<v Speaker 1>of course to be he's gonna beg forgiveness for not
<v Speaker 1>what he did to Raymisterio in the past, but for
<v Speaker 1>what he's going to do in the future. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it's all been just really brilliantly done.
<v Speaker 3>What I love when the mask was put on Humberto,
<v Speaker 3>you know that like trying to put the mask on
<v Speaker 3>everything and just to beat down like Seth Rollins character
<v Speaker 3>is so through the roof, like out of this world.
<v Speaker 3>I really want him to keep going in this Jim
<v Speaker 3>Jones direction and this slow, methodical, evil human being what
<v Speaker 3>they call him, like a dastardly so I can't remember,
<v Speaker 3>but it was amazing and I love one watching all
<v Speaker 3>these guys perform together, Alisair, Romberto, Seth Murphy, and Buddy Murphy.
<v Speaker 3>I'm still gonna call it Buddy Murphy great great, But
<v Speaker 3>just the psychology we're this is a good storyline, like
<v Speaker 3>this is the one good writer that they have right now,
<v Speaker 3>and I want to see Seth become more relaxed, just
<v Speaker 3>sit back on your throne and get more of that character.
<v Speaker 3>He's doing a great job. He's killing it. He's nailing it.
<v Speaker 3>But the more evil he gets and the more he
<v Speaker 3>has henchmen, the more that he seems dastardly, so to speak,
<v Speaker 3>because he is a great wrestler, so people want to
<v Speaker 3>get behind him. So the more you have other people

<v Speaker 3>they have the perfect writer. So you've got a great writer,

<v Speaker 3>a storyline for his father who's probably going to retire soon.
<v Speaker 3>And I think it's it's it's all like, you've got
<v Speaker 3>the great leader of the writer, and you've got the
<v Speaker 3>great characters, You've got the great teachers, and Dominic, I
<v Speaker 3>think is going to be really awesome. I think that
<v Speaker 3>something's going to happen with him, where he's going to
<v Speaker 3>be blowing our minds. He's going to be like the
<v Speaker 3>biggest booch store ever something. But I'm loving it. I
<v Speaker 3>really want Seth to get more darker, just just a
<v Speaker 3>couple shades more darker. What do you think of that?
<v Speaker 1>Well, he's certainly headed that way from where he started,
<v Speaker 1>and I totally yeah. Like Seth, Seth right now is
<v Speaker 1>on the path of Bailey. Like Bailey and Seth seem
<v Speaker 1>to be paralleling their heel turns, where at first it
<v Speaker 1>was kind of weird. I mean, Seth is a heel
<v Speaker 1>to me, is more natural anyway, but they both seem
<v Speaker 1>to be hitting their stride at the same time. And
<v Speaker 1>Seth right now, I agree. If he goes darker, that
<v Speaker 1>will make him even more dislikable, more evil, more dastardly,
<v Speaker 1>as you said, and that's what I want. And he's
<v Speaker 1>headed that way. I mean, at times he seems like
<v Speaker 1>he's kind of spaced out, like he's being possessed or
<v Speaker 1>or like spirits are like taking over his body, or
<v Speaker 1>he's just like he's hearing voices or something like that.
<v Speaker 1>Like I love what he's doing and not taking responsibility
<v Speaker 1>for anything, and you know, expecting people to just be
<v Speaker 1>okay with being sacrifices to the greater good. All of
<v Speaker 1>this it's just so well done. And yeah, like you said,
<v Speaker 1>whoever's the writer aund this needs to have more of
<v Speaker 1>an influence on the show as a whole. It's just yes,
<v Speaker 1>it is just great. The execution from Seth and from
<v Speaker 1>all involved has been very good for the most part,
<v Speaker 1>you know, and again maybe it is more Henchman. I
<v Speaker 1>think that's a part of it. Wherever the heck the
<v Speaker 1>AOP are. They weren't fired, were they They were okay?
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, so whenever the heck they come back from
<v Speaker 1>this just cycle of injuries, they should go right back
<v Speaker 1>with Seth. To me, the Murphy and excuse me, buddy,
<v Speaker 1>Murphy and Austin Theory have done a nice fell in.
<v Speaker 1>They've been very suitable for what they've done. We haven't
<v Speaker 1>heard a ton from them. I'd like to hear more
<v Speaker 1>from them, but at least they're taking the hits for Rollins.
<v Speaker 1>They're sacrificing themselves for Rollins. Almost mesmerized by the Monday
<v Speaker 1>Night Messiah. They are disciples, as they call themselves. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>there's so many religious undertones. They have to be careful
<v Speaker 1>of course. Is one thing you know'll talk about is
<v Speaker 1>like religion and politics, but they are not. They're not
<v Speaker 1>directly speaking about anything religious or religious figures, but they're
<v Speaker 1>taking elements of religious figures and you know, dictators and
<v Speaker 1>things like that and using the worst of them to
<v Speaker 1>implement in their character, especially Seth. And I'm loving it.
<v Speaker 1>Like again, Dominic, Yeah, we haven't seen a whole lot
<v Speaker 1>from him from an inn ring perspective other than was
<v Speaker 1>it last week or two weeks a going wrong when
<v Speaker 1>he attacks Seth from behind and then escaped, escaped out
<v Speaker 1>of the arena. So outside of that, yeat, Dominic hasn't
<v Speaker 1>gotten really physically involved from from that perspective. And like
<v Speaker 1>you said, maybe a match, maybe a match is coming
<v Speaker 1>down the line for him. I would think I would
<v Speaker 1>think he's going into the family business. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>how well trained he.
<v Speaker 3>Is, so I'm thinking this is like a like a
<v Speaker 3>bronze drum and thing. Like they whatever they're doing with him,
<v Speaker 3>they're going to keep it off camera. It's not gonna
<v Speaker 3>be on XT. It's going to be dark matches, or

<v Speaker 3>out and he just he helps all the baby faces
<v Speaker 3>with or just screws their match and he's just that
<v Speaker 3>angry who.

<v Speaker 1>Attitude era moments for me, particularly that one with Cain

<v Speaker 1>build that, and that's I'm sure WW feels the same way.

<v Speaker 3>think Dominic will start his career as a heel. He's
<v Speaker 3>probably gonna be with Seth, and I think it's gonna
<v Speaker 3>be beautiful. And I think it's good because he's gonna
<v Speaker 3>be around really talented wrestlers and they're gonna help him
<v Speaker 3>with his in ring, his psychology everything else. But when
<v Speaker 3>he comes down to it, I want to blow off
<v Speaker 3>to be really good. And I just thought, like, because
<v Speaker 3>I'm not really huge on the stereo anymore. I mean,
<v Speaker 3>he's he's my age, he's forty four, you know, he
<v Speaker 3>might be older than me. And I don't see a
<v Speaker 3>ton left in his future. I see him at the
<v Speaker 3>performance center being a great trainer, probably the best in
<v Speaker 3>the world. But with that being said, I can't see
<v Speaker 3>him in any championship matches. I can't see him in
<v Speaker 3>major storylines. This is the right storyline for him to
<v Speaker 3>be in to write off his career, bring his son in,
<v Speaker 3>but not overexpose it. Let's not do this like Virgil
<v Speaker 3>ted d Biassi, where miraculously Virgil wins when he was
<v Speaker 3>always just a lacky. I think we have a lot
<v Speaker 3>a lot on the table.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, we do, and that could be a very nice sendoff.

<v Speaker 1>and I had my son that was looking to follow
<v Speaker 1>my footsteps, that I would want to implement a storyline

<v Speaker 1>haven't heard the conditions or the expiration date of Ray
<v Speaker 1>ma Asterio's contract. But and again in that extent Dominic's

<v Speaker 1>don't know, so there are there's a lot of moving
<v Speaker 1>parts here. There's a lot going on. I really am
<v Speaker 1>curious to see what the payoff is. The payoff hasn't
<v Speaker 1>really been clear. You would assume that it's Ray Maisterio
<v Speaker 1>versus Seth one on one, but Dominic is clearly the
<v Speaker 1>you know, trying to get himself physically involved here. So
<v Speaker 1>maybe it's a tag match of sorts, you know, Ray
<v Speaker 1>and his and Dominic versus Seth and his two cronies. Maybe,
<v Speaker 1>But I don't know what the end game is, but
<v Speaker 1>I'm okay with that. They're clearly playing the long game
<v Speaker 1>with this story, and I love it, so okay. The
<v Speaker 1>big deal on and on Monday net Raw has been
<v Speaker 1>not so much Drew McIntyre and we'll get to McIntyre
<v Speaker 1>exigular after this, but Big Show hunting down Randy Orton,
<v Speaker 1>and that seems to be the story that they're they're
<v Speaker 1>telling right now and look like they're going to tell
<v Speaker 1>through Extreme Rules and maybe into Summer Slam, which I
<v Speaker 1>have my own thoughts on Orton, who's going to face
<v Speaker 1>the Summer Slam. But how are you enjoying the Big
<v Speaker 1>Show hunting down Randy Orton? And really Rick Flair getting
<v Speaker 1>involved now? To him, this is a This is a
<v Speaker 1>throwback angler in terms of the names involved in this.
<v Speaker 3>So did we do this like twenty years ago? We're
<v Speaker 3>gonna start out there, it's they said. When Pritchard got
<v Speaker 3>control of everything, he wanted to make sure that Vince
<v Speaker 3>McMahon wanted more established stars to have the spotlight. This
<v Speaker 3>does nothing for me. I like the way they're going
<v Speaker 3>for it. Excuse me, let me, let me rigor it.

<v Speaker 3>as their age is and how well they're acting and
<v Speaker 3>performing because they are both on top of their game

<v Speaker 3>Randy Orton, of course, is Randy Orton, but he's not
<v Speaker 3>Randy Orton of ten years ago. He's not Randy Orton
<v Speaker 3>of five years ago. He's just Randy Orton. And usually
<v Speaker 3>when one of these feuds come up, say it was
<v Speaker 3>Randy Orton versus Seth Rollins, you're gonna bank on Seth Rawlins. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>we we've got a new face or Big Show. The
<v Speaker 3>Big Show and Kane were the giant jobbers for a
<v Speaker 3>long time and what thirteen, fourteen and fifteen, and it
<v Speaker 3>was just it was easy to watch TV. It was
<v Speaker 3>bathroom segments. Okay, they're gonna they're gonna job to the shield,
<v Speaker 3>They're gonna drop to this job to that. It sucks
<v Speaker 3>for them. So I don't know how to feel about
<v Speaker 3>this because I don't really know where they're going. I
<v Speaker 3>think Orton's gonna win. Basically, it's to me very easily
<v Speaker 3>missed television.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I could see where you would feel that way.
<v Speaker 1>It's a very it's a bunch of guys in this
<v Speaker 1>in the story that the median age of these men
<v Speaker 1>in this story is probably fifty plus. I mean, like
<v Speaker 1>you're like low fifties if you add in ric Flairs,
<v Speaker 1>of course, skewing the whole median age. But this is
<v Speaker 1>I guess I'm not as down as you are on
<v Speaker 1>this simply for the fact that Number one, we haven't
<v Speaker 1>seen Big Show in a while, and I was back
<v Speaker 1>in the whole authority era with Cain and Big Show
<v Speaker 1>being a tag team, and like Big Show was just
<v Speaker 1>overexposed for just way too long. And he never felt
<v Speaker 1>really that special because I think he was always on
<v Speaker 1>the show. He wasn't a true attraction. He was just
<v Speaker 1>kind of there. And he flipped from heel to babyface
<v Speaker 1>a record number of times, like somebody actually counted it.
<v Speaker 1>It's like fifty plus times in his career that he's
<v Speaker 1>switched from heal to babyface. That of course does no
<v Speaker 1>favors either for your character that you know you can't
<v Speaker 1>get behind because there's no integrity to the character. It's
<v Speaker 1>just always flip flopping. So Big show in this story,
<v Speaker 1>I will say this big show, since I haven't seen
<v Speaker 1>him in a while, as I said, makes it feel
<v Speaker 1>a little bit more special, and he made it feel
<v Speaker 1>special too a little bit when he came out and
<v Speaker 1>faced Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania right after he had won
<v Speaker 1>the belt. He kind of pops in, pops out, and
<v Speaker 1>he seems like he's in this storyline a little bit longer,
<v Speaker 1>if not the longest he's been since he really left
<v Speaker 1>his weekly Raw appearances, and he feels more natural. He
<v Speaker 1>doesn't feel like he's playing a character so much as
<v Speaker 1>he's kind of just talking about He's like being Paul White,
<v Speaker 1>but he's also the big show. His promos have been good.
<v Speaker 1>He he's always he's a very witty guy. He shows
<v Speaker 1>his intelligence at times during the promos. And I like
<v Speaker 1>that they are bringing back a legend because Randy Orton
<v Speaker 1>has now transitioned back to the legend killer. And I
<v Speaker 1>made this point on a show last week. And I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if it's by design. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>it's just coincidence or the wrestling gods just playing their games.
<v Speaker 1>But when you look at the overall WWE pool of
<v Speaker 1>characters going on and the storyline is going on. There
<v Speaker 1>are a lot of characters that are descending into darkness
<v Speaker 1>or at least or at least concern that they will.
<v Speaker 1>What I mean by that is you have Bronz Strowman,
<v Speaker 1>who is teasing that he may go full heel because
<v Speaker 1>he maybe not be able to come back from the
<v Speaker 1>Swamp fight. And I was gonna ask you about that
<v Speaker 1>also today. But we have obviously Randy Orton going back
<v Speaker 1>to the legend killer. You have Edge saying he's going
<v Speaker 1>back to being the rated at R superstar. You have
<v Speaker 1>Big Show who has now said that he's not the
<v Speaker 1>helpable lug, you know, lovable giant. He's going out as
<v Speaker 1>an angry giant. It's weird that you have all of
<v Speaker 1>these darker versions of characters, and I'm sure I'm missing
<v Speaker 1>one or two that are evolving. Yeah, yeah, I mean
<v Speaker 1>that are evolving at the same time. So I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if that's concidence or not.
<v Speaker 3>No, I mean it's fifty to fifty eight, you know
<v Speaker 3>like that, it's always older people that are evolving right now,
<v Speaker 3>because that's what Vince wants to push. That's why he
<v Speaker 3>has Bruce in charge. Of everything. But I love that
<v Speaker 3>word to use evolving because let's talk something I want
<v Speaker 3>to bring up. And I don't know if you're ready
<v Speaker 3>for this in the show or not, but Evolved was
<v Speaker 3>bought by WWE this week.

<v Speaker 3>And so I'm sitting here like a couple of weeks ago,
<v Speaker 3>and I was thinking about when Paul Hayman got fired.
<v Speaker 3>I thought, who are they going to bring it? Because
<v Speaker 3>Pritchard can't do both shows, and there's no way that
<v Speaker 3>you can still bank on the same people in the
<v Speaker 3>next two or three years. Big Shoke gone his knees.
<v Speaker 3>No Randy Orton, He's gond probably go to Hollywood. He's
<v Speaker 3>making as much money as he can in wrestling, but
<v Speaker 3>he'll be like John Cena, He'll make pretty boy money
<v Speaker 3>in Hollywood. And I was like, he's not going to
<v Speaker 3>bring back anybody who's fired. And I thought, Gabe Sepalski,
<v Speaker 3>he there was a reason that he made Evolve a
<v Speaker 3>condu it, and I feel that he's going to be
<v Speaker 3>the next booker of one of one of the programs, definitely,
<v Speaker 3>And I think that was one of the But the
<v Speaker 3>the other thing, and this is to everybody out there
<v Speaker 3>who is going through hard times. I'm not Dusty Rhodes,
<v Speaker 3>but you're going through hard times. You unemployed, the man
<v Speaker 3>fired or laid off sixty or seventy people, but he
<v Speaker 3>just bought a company. So your frustrations are not alone.

<v Speaker 1>or whoever. I mean he could be. You know, he's
<v Speaker 1>forty seven years old. The guy is successful, I mean
<v Speaker 1>for what he did, and yeah, he was what I
<v Speaker 1>think he was the vice president of talent relations. I
<v Speaker 1>think for WW at one point or he you know, he,
<v Speaker 1>I think he has potential. I think there is something
<v Speaker 1>there with gave Seppolski that they're bringing him in for
<v Speaker 1>a reason. And they obviously just acquired all of the
<v Speaker 1>footage and video footage for their WW network, so their
<v Speaker 1>library has now expanded.
<v Speaker 3>So here's here's an interesting fact. Before WW network launched
<v Speaker 3>the WWN network, which was evolved being part of and
<v Speaker 3>gave Sepolski, I believe, being the head man in charge,
<v Speaker 3>he had his own network, which WWN, and all of
<v Speaker 3>a sudden, Vince McMahon worked out this whole deal with
<v Speaker 3>him and then launched his network. There's been speculation and
<v Speaker 3>rumors that Vince McMahon couldn't launch the network because Sepalski
<v Speaker 3>had the rights to wrestling and broadcasting wrestling on the
<v Speaker 3>internet through a pay per view or a paid service
<v Speaker 3>because WWN had it first. It's an interesting little tidbit
<v Speaker 3>though it was out there.

<v Speaker 1>uh wow, yeah, I mean there's there's a lot here,
<v Speaker 1>I think. I mean, given that this just happened and
<v Speaker 1>I have not seen and I was trying to search

<v Speaker 1>hold up is for not releasing the numbers. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>ww is a public network or a publicly traded company.

<v Speaker 1>they will, but I don't. I don't know what the
<v Speaker 1>what the reasoning is for not seeing it up front.

<v Speaker 1>term booking has been redefined to like one month. I
<v Speaker 1>mean that that that is unfortunately how long term booking
<v Speaker 1>has been redefined. And it's a shame. So I've only
<v Speaker 1>got a couple more points and then I'll close things
<v Speaker 1>out and hand it to you, I guess without going
<v Speaker 1>on a rant on this, just quick thoughts because we
<v Speaker 1>could absolutely destroy this, but we haven't even seen it yet.
<v Speaker 1>The swamp fight with with with bray Wyatt as now
<v Speaker 1>the cult leader version of bray Wyatt. He now has
<v Speaker 1>three personalities. Maybe he talked to Mick Foley about how
<v Speaker 1>to you know, advance his character and he's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>facing bron Strowman in a swamp fight. And this again
<v Speaker 1>my quick thing on this, and I'll toss it to you.
<v Speaker 1>I actually I don't mind the story. I think the
<v Speaker 1>story is they're pulling. They're pulling on everything that they
<v Speaker 1>possibly could pull on. They were in a group together,
<v Speaker 1>he was the black sheep. Braun Strowman is saying that,
<v Speaker 1>you know he met the evil guy at this swamp
<v Speaker 1>that he brought him in. Uh, they're trying to create
<v Speaker 1>a backstory for it. I respect that and appreciate it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad they're at least attempting, even if it's unbelievable.
<v Speaker 1>I at least have something that's unbelievable then no attempt
<v Speaker 1>at all, So that's good. Bron Stroman probably cut the
<v Speaker 1>best PROO of his career last week on SmackDown. The
<v Speaker 1>week before easily probably cut the best pro of his career.
<v Speaker 1>And not having bray White on every SmackDown is great.
<v Speaker 1>Not having him go right to the fiend is great.
<v Speaker 1>I think they're reserving that for SummerSlam. So these levels
<v Speaker 1>of bray Wyatt where you have the happy, go lucky
<v Speaker 1>but kind of evil sinister kids show host, and then
<v Speaker 1>you have the next level up, which is this swamp
<v Speaker 1>cult leader, and then you have the ultimate version, like
<v Speaker 1>the maxed out version of bray Wyatt, which is the Fiend.
<v Speaker 1>If that's how it's going to go where there's multiple levels,
<v Speaker 1>I'm cool with it. You know what, we all thought
<v Speaker 1>this swamp cult leader was dead and he's not. You
<v Speaker 1>know I actually I'm looking forward to this. Despite the
<v Speaker 1>fact that you and I despise the cinematic version, I
<v Speaker 1>give them props and give them credit for at least
<v Speaker 1>trying to create a backstory and create something that they
<v Speaker 1>that really is out of nothing, and I respect that.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, here's my situation. We've both agreed that Bray doesn't
<v Speaker 3>need the title, but they don't know who to put
<v Speaker 3>the title on. On Smack though they would have actually
<v Speaker 3>been better put in on Zigler and keeping him there
<v Speaker 3>and actually giving him the push that he deserved many
<v Speaker 3>many years ago, as opposed to the fact that they're
<v Speaker 3>in a sticky situation. Roman Reigns backed down. We didn't
<v Speaker 3>know what to do. We're scared, so we put it
<v Speaker 3>on our new version of Andrea at the Giant and
<v Speaker 3>as many of the classics, Ross Cornett, all the old guys,
<v Speaker 3>Shivani like, you don't ever put something on a beast,
<v Speaker 3>you can't take it off of That's why the Road
<v Speaker 3>Warriors leads you to doing whatever you want to call it.
<v Speaker 3>Only held the belts occasionally because how do you take

<v Speaker 3>will be okay because I can't see anybody I want

<v Speaker 3>Lars Sullivan could come in too, because how do we
<v Speaker 3>believe he's so much ginormous and stronger than anybody else.
<v Speaker 3>Let's bring in a brute. Let's bring in somebody as
<v Speaker 3>tough as him. That could be Lessner. It could be
<v Speaker 3>Lessner on on Fridays. Now that's what Fox originally wanted.
<v Speaker 3>So that makes sense to me. But you have to
<v Speaker 3>have somebody that you can believe be your world champion.
<v Speaker 3>The other thing is, I don't know anybody who's actually
<v Speaker 3>behind strength. I don't and so I want to feel
<v Speaker 3>bad for him. I don't really for his finances, but
<v Speaker 3>you know, I feel bad He's a wartant champion. I
<v Speaker 3>have seeing champion this boarding since Sergeants Slaughter, you know,
<v Speaker 3>and that was a transitional thing. This is a transitional thing.

<v Speaker 3>But that that belt, if it walks away with Strowman,
<v Speaker 3>it's gonna be catastrophe. And if they don't have something
<v Speaker 3>to sucking up for Summer Slam. You know, the more
<v Speaker 3>I think about it, I mean he's the one that
<v Speaker 3>needs SolV more in THEE think.
<v Speaker 1>This is, Yeah, this one is we know what it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be from a presentation standpoint, it's going to
<v Speaker 1>be everything we hate about wrestling, or or their WW
<v Speaker 1>presentation of wrestling roll wrapped into one. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>I can get much worse some money in the bank,
<v Speaker 1>and I say that hesitantly, and I hope that that's not.
<v Speaker 1>Their goal is to make it even more hoky than
<v Speaker 1>money in the bank. But given it's in a swamp,
<v Speaker 1>it's automatically a darker place. I would think they're going
<v Speaker 1>to go dark. That's what this whole character of Bray
<v Speaker 1>White is. It's evil, it's dark, it's nasty, it's it's
<v Speaker 1>revenge driven. I hope that they go as dark as
<v Speaker 1>they can. It will be just what the title of
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view says, It'll be like a horror
<v Speaker 1>show or a horror movie if they want to present
<v Speaker 1>it as a horror movie from the WW Film Studio whatever.
<v Speaker 1>Like I'm just saying it and giving I mean throwing
<v Speaker 1>up my hands at this point and just going with it. Now.
<v Speaker 1>With that said, who should have the belt? Yes, Stroman
<v Speaker 1>should drop it. First of all. Stroman, as you said,
<v Speaker 1>incredibly boring as a character up until two weeks ago
<v Speaker 1>when he finally showed that he can cut a decent
<v Speaker 1>promo and something that has depth to it. He was
<v Speaker 1>just tipping big things over. He's the monster among men.
<v Speaker 1>He's just this big, big, strong oath that doesn't have
<v Speaker 1>a whole lot of a whole lot of depth to
<v Speaker 1>him other than he's just a big guy that can
<v Speaker 1>lift a lot of weight. Okay, great, like that's what
<v Speaker 1>his character was for all intensive purposes, and they're starting
<v Speaker 1>to add depth to it. That's what you need to do.
<v Speaker 1>But with that said, here's the thing. When in doubt,
<v Speaker 1>and I've held firm on this, all roads lead to
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns that I've held firm on that for years.
<v Speaker 1>Whenever in doubt and you don't know where things are going,
<v Speaker 1>just turn to Roman Reigns. I understand he's not on
<v Speaker 1>the active roster right now, but as things improve, I
<v Speaker 1>believe that WW is starting to look at this picture
<v Speaker 1>and go, Okay, when Roman comes back, who do we
<v Speaker 1>want him to face for the championship? Can't do bronze Stroman.
<v Speaker 1>They've done that in the past, and a babyface versus
<v Speaker 1>a baby face it's not usually a match you go for.
<v Speaker 1>Let's give them the match they all thought they were
<v Speaker 1>gonna get at WrestleMania with with with the Fiend versus
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns, and I think eventually when Roman comes back
<v Speaker 1>that may be his first program. It could be bray
<v Speaker 1>Whitet versus Roman Reigns for the championship. I think that's
<v Speaker 1>probably where they're going. So with that said, I still
<v Speaker 1>believe Bronz Stroman will retain in the Swamp Fight, but
<v Speaker 1>I think that at SummerSlam, when Braunz Stroman faces the
<v Speaker 1>third version of bray Wyatt, which is the Fiend, that
<v Speaker 1>Bronze Stroman will lose to the Fiend at SummerSlam, which
<v Speaker 1>sets up a Roman Reigns return down the line whenever
<v Speaker 1>that may be sometime after August, and I really I
<v Speaker 1>think that's how it's gonna go.
<v Speaker 3>Well. I dig Rains return like that because, like I said,
<v Speaker 3>as much garbage as people give Rains, it makes me
<v Speaker 3>angry because the guy is talented. It just it was
<v Speaker 3>leaked that he was the guy, you know, But aside
<v Speaker 3>from that, he wouldn't be the guy today. We don't know.

<v Speaker 3>them on Heavy Machinery, yes, yep, for many reasons, because honestly,
<v Speaker 3>machinery can work if you let them work and not
<v Speaker 3>let just Otis be Otis, you know, and and I

<v Speaker 3>you you really they're really trying to jab at Cody

<v Speaker 1>in a singles role because he values that clearly. Well,
<v Speaker 1>we're way, way, way more than a tag team right now.

<v Speaker 3>so much sense, it's entertaining. I'm like, stop using the word.
<v Speaker 3>It's wrestling, okay. So you know, I grew up on
<v Speaker 3>magnum Ta and Nikki cole Off and like people bleeding
<v Speaker 3>and giving some of the greatest matches you've ever seen,
<v Speaker 3>Steamboat and Flare. And you tell me, if Steamboat or Flare,
<v Speaker 3>or you know, any one of the greats Rick Rude,
<v Speaker 3>you tell them that they were approached this, they would
<v Speaker 3>they would laugh, especially being part of a tag team.
<v Speaker 3>It's like if if the Bushwhackers, which they tried to
<v Speaker 3>patter them after when they first came out, and I
<v Speaker 3>hate the Bushwhackers because they were the Schephergers and they
<v Speaker 3>were an amazing team and then they became the Bushwhackers
<v Speaker 3>and Wicked Ed's and we've we've covered this. But the
<v Speaker 3>point is if somebody suddenly gave the money in the
<v Speaker 3>bank to Bushwhacker Butch, how would the booking be.
<v Speaker 1>Same thing? Yeah, yep, uh, yeah, that's a that's an
<v Speaker 1>interesting parallel. And those that haven't don't know who the
<v Speaker 1>Bushwackers are, go back and look, you'll you will see

<v Speaker 1>to me, yeah, if somebody says entertaining, that was entertaining,

<v Speaker 1>eat whatever is fed by the company, the corporate version
<v Speaker 1>of WWE. And I mean that's really what it is

<v Speaker 1>of you just get started and you're watching wrestling. Oh
<v Speaker 1>that's entertained. They're telling me. It's entertaining, So it's entertaining whatever, Like,

<v Speaker 1>grow up. To me. The only E word is emotion,
<v Speaker 1>and that's the E word that is missing from today's
<v Speaker 1>product is largely not all. Again, we outlined some really
<v Speaker 1>good things going on right now, but it's emotion. If
<v Speaker 1>you don't feel emotion, you're not connected. If you're not connected,
<v Speaker 1>you don't watch. If you don't watch, you aren't buying
<v Speaker 1>the merchandise, which is the money part of what WWE
<v Speaker 1>is in this for money, they're a for profit company
<v Speaker 1>without emotion. It all starts at emotionally invested. And if
<v Speaker 1>you aren't there, you aren't watching, you aren't dumping money
<v Speaker 1>into the company. So that's the only word I prescribe to.
<v Speaker 3>No, it's great because if any of our listeners have
<v Speaker 3>never read Titan Sinking, if you've never read that book,
<v Speaker 3>you really need to. And how like events not just scandals,
<v Speaker 3>but it made like really really poor booking decisions. And
<v Speaker 3>this is like, you know the time where we had
<v Speaker 3>main events, you know, headlined by Mabel because we all
<v Speaker 3>remember those classics, right, and how you know they went
<v Speaker 3>down to venues that ec was doing the same size
<v Speaker 3>and that's when Vince actually contacted Hayman to start getting ideas.
<v Speaker 3>But that's another side store. The point is Vince doesn't
<v Speaker 3>always make the right decisions, and he's not making some
<v Speaker 3>good decisions now. The cinematic stuff, the otis stuff. Just
<v Speaker 3>if you love wrestling, you love wrestling, you don't love garbage.
<v Speaker 3>And we're getting a lot of garbage right now. And
<v Speaker 3>you know, honestly, I know you're not a big Ring
<v Speaker 3>of Honor the I If you have fun, watch Ring
<v Speaker 3>of Honor. If you don't want goofy cinematic stuff that
<v Speaker 3>should be in a movie, watch Ring of Honor. You know,
<v Speaker 3>Major League Wrestling, same thing. They're they're doing stuff. It's
<v Speaker 3>out there on YouTube, it's out there on you know,
<v Speaker 3>other other broadcast networks. But the fact is they're not
<v Speaker 3>doing cinematic stuff and pushing garbage people. They're pushing the
<v Speaker 3>right people. And it's sad because they, unfortunately, I don't think,

<v Speaker 3>lot of them jump ship to Impact and wherever else
<v Speaker 3>and you know, higher paying gigs. That becomes what we

<v Speaker 1>refuse to ever identify themself is a pro wrestling company,
<v Speaker 1>but they are. I don't care if they try to
<v Speaker 1>mask it with entertainment or sports entertainment or or whatever,
<v Speaker 1>or doesn't matter. You are pro wrestling at your core,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, and they will they will probably argue that
<v Speaker 1>to the death that no, we're not. That's a and

<v Speaker 1>not prog wrestling, we're sports entertainment. No, you're you're pro wrestling.

<v Speaker 1>professionals that are simulating wrestling, right, so you are a
<v Speaker 1>professional wrestling company company. Yeah, yeah, it's it's just such

<v Speaker 1>close things out, quick answer, do you think the Undertaker's
<v Speaker 1>really done in terms of en ring like a match? Okay,

<v Speaker 1>fear though, is that that Undertaker wants to go out
<v Speaker 1>with a good match, and if it's a total bomb
<v Speaker 1>of a match, then you know, does he come back
<v Speaker 1>for another. It's that whole vicious cycle that we saw
<v Speaker 1>in the Undertaker Last Ride docu series. So personally, I
<v Speaker 1>think it's probably Bray Wyatt the Fiend versus Undertaker, because
<v Speaker 1>there was hints of that last year with the Firefly
