My guest today is Roderick Kiracofe. He is the author of The American Quilt and Cloth and Comfort. He co-founded the Quilt Digest and has been actively involved in the creation of some of America's most important private and corporate quilt collections. He has curated exhibitions in the United States and overseas. I met Roderick last summer at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, where he had an incredible display of unconventional and unexpected quilts so we'll dive into the first and second editions of that book as well. I can't wait to share with you the life of a quilt curator, collector, and author.
