WWE Raw Review: Bret Hart Appearance, Wyatt Sicks vs American Made, Hell in a Cell Match Set for Bad Blood

<v Speaker 2>The show, the one that everybody wants me.
<v Speaker 3>God, I stood three sixteen, So just gift your ass.

<v Speaker 2>Let's talk Monday Night Raw that emanated from Calgary, Alberta, Canada,
<v Speaker 2>obviously famously known for Brett the Hitman Heart and he
<v Speaker 2>did make an appearance on the show that I thought
<v Speaker 2>was as effective as you could probably make somebody at
<v Speaker 2>his age on the show. You know, and they're not
<v Speaker 2>going to take a bump. You know, they're there for
<v Speaker 2>the pop and the cheers and the adulation, which is
<v Speaker 2>all fine at that stage. I'm not expecting to do
<v Speaker 2>anything other than that. But we did get several big
<v Speaker 2>announcements leading towards Bad Blood, which of course is a
<v Speaker 2>few weeks away, and we got a hell in a
<v Speaker 2>celle match to talk about that was widely expected and
<v Speaker 2>should be a hell of a match, violent match that
<v Speaker 2>I'm sure a lot of us are likely going to
<v Speaker 2>see blood in, right, I mean, I mean if we
<v Speaker 2>don't see blood at Bad Blood, I think it's a
<v Speaker 2>missed opportunity. That's a match that warrants at WWE has
<v Speaker 2>been much more liberal with it with the move to
<v Speaker 2>Netflix in a couple of months three months, four months
<v Speaker 2>October November Decemberrginia have four months. I actually counted on
<v Speaker 2>my fingers. Yes, we have a clear direction for WWE
<v Speaker 2>to head towards a more TV fourteen environment, more of
<v Speaker 2>a teen slash lateeen environment that they have now come
<v Speaker 2>back to. And the announcement that Raw starting in mid
<v Speaker 2>October for at least the end through the end of
<v Speaker 2>the year is going to be down to two hours.
<v Speaker 2>Queue the Angels singing music because that is something I
<v Speaker 2>think a lot of us where are going to love.
<v Speaker 2>And yeah, sure I listened to the Hulu version, so
<v Speaker 2>it's not going to affect me. But I still watch
<v Speaker 2>the other things that happen on the show to make
<v Speaker 2>up for it. And now that even though the Hulu
<v Speaker 2>version is still going to be ninety minutes, because SmackDown
<v Speaker 2>is still ninety minutes on the Hulu version, they don't
<v Speaker 2>have to cut out as much, so you're not missing
<v Speaker 2>as much for those that only rely on the Hulu show. Now,
<v Speaker 2>is this going to be something that has some staying power?
<v Speaker 2>Is it going to be something that is not just experimental,
<v Speaker 2>and then they're just going to test out for a quarter,
<v Speaker 2>which is what they're doing. They're testing it out for
<v Speaker 2>a quarter from October to December, three months and seeing
<v Speaker 2>how much it affects revenue before really committing to it.
<v Speaker 2>I think that's the goal here, not only how do
<v Speaker 2>fans receive it with the two hour switch for a
<v Speaker 2>few months, but most importantly they hate to say the fans,
<v Speaker 2>but we're not the most important thing. You want to
<v Speaker 2>know who the most important people are sponsors. Because that
<v Speaker 2>extra hour that they were getting for ad revenue, how
<v Speaker 2>are they going to make that up? Do they charge
<v Speaker 2>higher prices for the two hours since there's only one
<v Speaker 2>hundred and twenty minutes instead of one hundred and eighty
<v Speaker 2>minutes of the show with X amount of commercial breaks?
<v Speaker 2>Maybe that's how they make up some of that lost revenue.
<v Speaker 2>But they're not going to miss out on that revenue,
<v Speaker 2>that isn't it. That is one of their primary, if
<v Speaker 2>not their primary source of revenue is the sponsorships and
<v Speaker 2>the ad spots throughout the show. So of course I
<v Speaker 2>think that this is being used as a guinea pig time.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe they go back to three hours. Maybe they'll stick
<v Speaker 2>to two hours. I think fans unanimously would say two hours,
<v Speaker 2>two hours, two hours, two hours, please. Two hours is
<v Speaker 2>a sweet spot for a wrestling show. Doesn't feel like
<v Speaker 2>a marathon to get through. It's easier for creative that
<v Speaker 2>you know that extra hour is xponentially more difficult to right.
<v Speaker 2>They can focus on and creating higher quality content instead
<v Speaker 2>of worrying so much about volume, and again seeing how
<v Speaker 2>the fans receive it. The talent, I'm sure feel quite differently.
<v Speaker 2>The talent themselves. I'm sure, especially those that are underutilized,
<v Speaker 2>probably feel that that extra hour is now not going
<v Speaker 2>to be possibly given to them, that those who may
<v Speaker 2>not have gotten an opportunity now are going to maybe
<v Speaker 2>be left by the wayside. Well to that, I would say,
<v Speaker 2>and this sounds a little harsh coming from a fan
<v Speaker 2>that I'm sure none of them really care about my opinion,
<v Speaker 2>but this is the reality. Step up your game, and
<v Speaker 2>I mean that generally across the board, because when there's
<v Speaker 2>less time, that means less minutes to utilize on the show,
<v Speaker 2>which means you need to maximize the minutes you do
<v Speaker 2>get those precious minutes, those minutes become even more valuable
<v Speaker 2>because there's less of them, a supply and demand issue,
<v Speaker 2>and that means I would think that every think one
<v Speaker 2>should improve and across the board. Again, the ad revenue
<v Speaker 2>is a separate issue that WWA is gonna have to
<v Speaker 2>work through. How do they make up that lost revenue.
<v Speaker 2>They'll find a way, as I said, maybe they charge
<v Speaker 2>more for the ad spots, but again Netflix going to
<v Speaker 2>raw or Raw going to Netflix of course changes things.
<v Speaker 2>But this is I think it's experimental, but it also
<v Speaker 2>may just be something that they're easing us into with
<v Speaker 2>the Netflix Netflix change. In January of they had two
<v Speaker 2>hours planned. We're going to start two hours three months
<v Speaker 2>early so fans get used to it and then ease
<v Speaker 2>into Netflix. Maybe that's the plan too, But here's the thing.
<v Speaker 2>The matter of fact is that it should up everyone's
<v Speaker 2>game and up the actual quality of the show. I
<v Speaker 2>don't think anybody really loves the third hour, nobody outside
<v Speaker 2>of the talent who may not otherwise have gotten an opportunity,
<v Speaker 2>you know, who may now be pushed to the to
<v Speaker 2>main event, which is a hilarious name for a show
<v Speaker 2>that is anything but the main event. It's almost a
<v Speaker 2>mockery to those guys and gals on the main event show.
<v Speaker 2>Nobody really watches main event, Let's be honest. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>there are fringe fans and fans who listen to podcasts
<v Speaker 2>like this one who do and really, God bless you. You
<v Speaker 2>are a true you can't get enough fan, and that's awesome.
<v Speaker 2>But the name of the show main event, I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I guess maybe that's the goal that everyone on the
<v Speaker 2>show is reaching towards, because the show itself is anything
<v Speaker 2>but the main event. All the guys in the gals
<v Speaker 2>on the show are anything but the main event. But
<v Speaker 2>of course, what do I know. I'm just a lonely fan,
<v Speaker 2>lonely fan screaming out into the void. What do I know? Well,
<v Speaker 2>we had a pretty eventful Monday Net role. We're gonna
<v Speaker 2>get to all that in detail again, including the announcement
<v Speaker 2>by Adam Pierce of the hell in a Cell match
<v Speaker 2>that is taking place between See I'm punkin Juamcutarre. We'll
<v Speaker 2>talk about that in a minute. In fact, we'll lead

<v Speaker 2>and Drew McIntire. We had him come out and encourage
<v Speaker 2>the fans to chant Punk's name and said no longer.
<v Speaker 2>It doesn't bother him because it's quote in simply it's
<v Speaker 2>simply in memory of when the chant Punk's name. Mctyre
<v Speaker 2>recalled Punk boasting the idea that he beat him in
<v Speaker 2>a strap match and thought he would get a world
<v Speaker 2>title match. Mcatyre said Punk screwed him out of the
<v Speaker 2>title three times and added that he pinned him at
<v Speaker 2>SummerSlam and said just because Punk's the best at touching
<v Speaker 2>four corners doesn't mean that they're finished, and he questioned
<v Speaker 2>why Barrett stood in his way. They have a long
<v Speaker 2>standing friendship. Barrett was stinting up for himself but didn't
<v Speaker 2>say much on the mic, and that's when Adam Pierce
<v Speaker 2>came out and asked if mcatyre had lost the plot
<v Speaker 2>in life so badly he wants to fight his friend,
<v Speaker 2>and he said he had some news that he I'm
<v Speaker 2>sure he'd want to hear. Pierce said that he spoke
<v Speaker 2>with Punk and he's not done with mcatire either, and
<v Speaker 2>he announced that they're going to be fighting each other
<v Speaker 2>one more time at Bad Blood Inside Hell in a Cell.
<v Speaker 2>Mcatyre looked at a lot unhappy, but I thought this
<v Speaker 2>is effective. It's something that, yes, it was widely expected,
<v Speaker 2>but something that is deserving. See that's the key. This
<v Speaker 2>match is deserving. Triple H has seen the devaluing of
<v Speaker 2>the Hell and of Cell match over the years and
<v Speaker 2>has now corrected course to only have Helena Cell matches
<v Speaker 2>when the programs warranted, not just have a match that
<v Speaker 2>is a gimmick. Pl On the calendar and whatever matches
<v Speaker 2>or programs happened to be going on at that time. Well,
<v Speaker 2>somebody's got to go in the cell. No, No, totally
<v Speaker 2>defeats the purpose of what the helen of Cell was
<v Speaker 2>originally designed for programs that are at its conclusion, that
<v Speaker 2>are boiling over right, that need a blowoff, that have
<v Speaker 2>very very deep seated personal issues. That's what the original
<v Speaker 2>purpose of Hell and of Cell was, and that got
<v Speaker 2>away from WWE for a long time, and now it's
<v Speaker 2>been brought back and I really appreciate that by Paulovk.
<v Speaker 2>So all right, well let's get continue here. I'll start
<v Speaker 2>at the top of roll though, let's go back on
<v Speaker 2>a little bit of some kind of semblance of order.
<v Speaker 2>And again we saw a lot of people being coming
<v Speaker 2>to the arena carrying their their luggage, and which I
<v Speaker 2>don't mind. I really don't mind that. I really don't.
<v Speaker 2>It does get a little repetitive every week, but I
<v Speaker 2>don't care, because you know, that's something that does have
<v Speaker 2>that more sports like feel. It's a more kind of
<v Speaker 2>backstage look at what they you know, when they arrived
<v Speaker 2>through the arena, what are they carrying? What do they
<v Speaker 2>look like? Sure, some of its staged like Bianca and Jade,
<v Speaker 2>who continue to just make little cute faces at each
<v Speaker 2>other and look obnoxious and talk obnoxious but never have
<v Speaker 2>anything of substance to say. And we'll talk about Jade
<v Speaker 2>and Bianca a little bit later. Things things are for
<v Speaker 2>me declining in that on that team, and declining quickly,
<v Speaker 2>but we'll get to that a little bit later. So
<v Speaker 2>we did have an awesome, awesome street fight, an eight
<v Speaker 2>man mixed tag street fight that took place right at
<v Speaker 2>the beginning of Raw. This was awesome, and not just
<v Speaker 2>because of the chance this is awesome, which I think
<v Speaker 2>are and overused, but it felt ple worthy. The way
<v Speaker 2>that these guys and gals were hitting each other, the spots,
<v Speaker 2>the twists and turns, it was all a lot of fun.
<v Speaker 2>I actually felt it could have gone on another five
<v Speaker 2>minutes or so, but it did go almost seventeen minutes.
<v Speaker 2>But it went by quickly because everybody did an awesome
<v Speaker 2>job and was also great is they had a video
<v Speaker 2>package before this, really well done effective that showed us
<v Speaker 2>why and how we got where we're at. This is
<v Speaker 2>probably the blowoff, probably, I say, but also Bad Blood's
<v Speaker 2>coming up, so I don't know if it's truly a blowoff,
<v Speaker 2>but American made here with Chad Gable, Julius Creed, Brutus
<v Speaker 2>Creed and Iby Nile versus the Wyatts with Eric Rowan,
<v Speaker 2>Joe Jacy, Dexter, Luma's Nikki Cross and of course Uncle
<v Speaker 2>Howdie in tow and this was just really good. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>you had very well done table spots. Eric Rowan had
<v Speaker 2>probably the best night of his career with in terms
<v Speaker 2>of the crowd support, which Calgary delivered in a lot
<v Speaker 2>of ways. I really enjoyed the Calgary crowd. You guys
<v Speaker 2>delivered and made sense. You weren't just chanting random things
<v Speaker 2>because you're at a sporting event for four hours like
<v Speaker 2>other places. We won't mention over the last four months.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah we know, you know. I guys know who I'm
<v Speaker 2>talking about. Again, this is not my cup of tea.
<v Speaker 2>But thank you Calgary for restoring order in normalcy to
<v Speaker 2>the audio portion of my wrestling experience. Thank you so
<v Speaker 2>much Canada Now, and I have to say, the Canadian crowds,
<v Speaker 2>in a lot of ways oftentimes supersede the US crowds.
<v Speaker 2>I'm from the United States, but I can objectively say
<v Speaker 2>that not all the time, but a lot of the crowds,
<v Speaker 2>especially Montreal, Calgary, they're trying to think of another place
<v Speaker 2>that they do. It's sometimes Toronto, not if not every time.
<v Speaker 2>Toronto's kick ass. So you know, yeah, they're bigger cities,
<v Speaker 2>but they always deliver. Okay, So Rowan set up the
<v Speaker 2>table at ringside, hoisted up gable. He was saved by
<v Speaker 2>one of the creeds. We had the fire extinguisher spot,
<v Speaker 2>We had a gable tripping Loomis went face for sun
<v Speaker 2>to a chair and Joe Gacy did a handspring into
<v Speaker 2>the ropes and then put the Creeds down with a
<v Speaker 2>double clothes line. Those are this is awesome chant, which
<v Speaker 2>I think are too liberally delivered out these days. I
<v Speaker 2>think that this is Awesome chant is just too easily given,
<v Speaker 2>and it used to be only for you know, those
<v Speaker 2>special I think it originally started maybe an NXT and
<v Speaker 2>kind of morphed its way into the main roster, and
<v Speaker 2>it has since, excuse me, since then, Ben I think
<v Speaker 2>a little bit over overgifted. But nonetheless, this match delivered
<v Speaker 2>and this match deserved it. And Rowan came to life
<v Speaker 2>at ringside after being put through a table and he's
<v Speaker 2>a piece of the barry. And in the ring, Rowan
<v Speaker 2>performed a urin Augie slam, and then we had Gaycy
<v Speaker 2>and Loomis hit a double choke slam on two opponents
<v Speaker 2>and another this is awesome champ broke out, and then
<v Speaker 2>we have Uncle Howdy stood up, stare up at Gable
<v Speaker 2>and Rowan attack Gable gave him the claw slam onto
<v Speaker 2>the bottom piece of the ring steps Rowan rolled inside
<v Speaker 2>roll Gable inside the ring. I apologize guys, if it
<v Speaker 2>sounds like I'm clear in my throat a lot. It's
<v Speaker 2>I'm fighting my first cold of the season. All right,
<v Speaker 2>first cold of the season. My kids are back at school.
<v Speaker 2>It's cold number one of probably twelve over the next
<v Speaker 2>like you know, four months, it's gonna be brutal. I
<v Speaker 2>was sick last year. It was like two three months straight.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not even kidding. But what do you guys carry
<v Speaker 2>back to wrestling. So we had the finish here come
<v Speaker 2>when let me get to it. Oh, Uncle Howdy enter
<v Speaker 2>the ring, hit sister Abigail on Gable. Loomis followed up
<v Speaker 2>at the top rope splash onto Gable and then they
<v Speaker 2>got the victory as they should have This. I think
<v Speaker 2>was a match that it elevated everyone, regardless of who won.
<v Speaker 2>American Maid was elevated, all the Wide six members were elevated,
<v Speaker 2>all of them. The crowd really helped this match. Although
<v Speaker 2>even if the crowd wasn't that great, the match I
<v Speaker 2>still think would have been very perceived, very well. But
<v Speaker 2>the crowd always helps, So I think this was a
<v Speaker 2>very well done match. I mean, I have really nothing
<v Speaker 2>negative to say about it. It was a great match
<v Speaker 2>to open the show. How often do you see a
<v Speaker 2>street fight open the show, much less an eight man
<v Speaker 2>mixed tag team street fight open the show. It almost
<v Speaker 2>never happens. It always starts, usually either with a singles
<v Speaker 2>match of some sort, maybe there's a tournament going on,
<v Speaker 2>or you have a promo that's fifteen minutes that leads
<v Speaker 2>to the main event of the show. So this is
<v Speaker 2>a very welcome change of pace. Do I want this
<v Speaker 2>every week?
<v Speaker 1>No?
<v Speaker 2>Sometimes I look forward to the promo that opens the show.
<v Speaker 2>You you know that you kind of look forward to
<v Speaker 2>our who's the big story that we're gonna start with,
<v Speaker 2>who's the you know, if there's a hot champion, if
<v Speaker 2>there's a you know, a big story going on. You
<v Speaker 2>want that person or person's to open the show to
<v Speaker 2>further the story. Otherwise you're just kind of tuned out
<v Speaker 2>of whatever else that got going on because you're just like, ah,
<v Speaker 2>I just want to know about this or that, but this,
<v Speaker 2>but this was really good. So I don't know. This
<v Speaker 2>may or may not be the end. It looked like
<v Speaker 2>the end. The problem is bad blood, so we'll see,
<v Speaker 2>all right. So Joe Testatur I thought it was Joe Testatory,
<v Speaker 2>but he corrected me. He would know since he's the
<v Speaker 2>one that has that last name. I thought it was
<v Speaker 2>Joe Testatory. I've been calling Joe Testatory for like the
<v Speaker 2>last week, so I think it's Joe. The e is silent.
<v Speaker 2>So Joe testa Tour, Sure, Joe T. How about just
<v Speaker 2>call him JT. There we go. So two hours, two hours,
<v Speaker 2>two hours, two hours of raw and all right. So
<v Speaker 2>Finn Balor comes out and told he immediately was angry.
<v Speaker 2>It felt like we you know, he could have eased
<v Speaker 2>into the anger. Instead he just immediately starts yelling at
<v Speaker 2>Damian Priest. But it's been nice to see Number one.
<v Speaker 2>Baalor has a new music, new entrants, graphics and all
<v Speaker 2>that it's nice. Balor feels a little refreshed, and to
<v Speaker 2>have him be singled out for the first time in
<v Speaker 2>a long time, and the Judgment day is nice. You
<v Speaker 2>remember how you know you forgot how good he can be.
<v Speaker 2>Finn Balor is sorely underutilized generally and has been kind
<v Speaker 2>of hidden in this shadow of the Judgment Day. Even
<v Speaker 2>he acknowledged he was a sidekick. He's not a sidekick,
<v Speaker 2>he says, which is very true. And Balor says he
<v Speaker 2>doesn't listen to priests orders anymore and he treated in
<v Speaker 2>like a sidekick. As I said, Priests accepted the challenge
<v Speaker 2>that was put down by Ballar for a singles match
<v Speaker 2>at Bad Blood, which, by the way, not every match
<v Speaker 2>can be no dq Blood. I know that the ple
<v Speaker 2>e is bad Blood, but you got to reserve a
<v Speaker 2>lot of the violence for that hell in a cell match.
<v Speaker 2>So I hope that they don't just like a tlcpl
<v Speaker 2>E back in the day where they would just have
<v Speaker 2>every match have a stipulation and by the end you
<v Speaker 2>just you don't want to see tables, ladders or chairs
<v Speaker 2>ever again, or kendlesticks because it just is so oversaturated
<v Speaker 2>in the show. So I hope that this is a
<v Speaker 2>straight up just wrestling match. Does this deserve no DQ? Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it does, but you need to pick your spots. I
<v Speaker 2>think on the card of which matches deserve no DQ
<v Speaker 2>and which is which don't for simple reasons of saturation
<v Speaker 2>and just being desensitized to it. So of course JD
<v Speaker 2>and Carlito and Dom show up and they all start
<v Speaker 2>beating down Balor I'm sorry, beating down to priest. But
<v Speaker 2>then Ria Ripley and I had a feeling they were
<v Speaker 2>going to do. This is my first little like critique
<v Speaker 2>of the show. You guys knew it was coming, but
<v Speaker 2>i'm all just made it. Twenty minutes into the show,
<v Speaker 2>not bad, and we had Ria Ripley's music hit with
<v Speaker 2>like four guys beating down Damien. Right, I mean, what
<v Speaker 2>exactly is the plan here? If she wasn't cut off
<v Speaker 2>at the past by liv Morgan, were we supposed to
<v Speaker 2>be believing that Ria was going to come to the
<v Speaker 2>ring and clear out four men from the ring? I
<v Speaker 2>mean hypothetically. Of course that's not what happened because Live
<v Speaker 2>cut her off and they really battled, and Dom got
<v Speaker 2>a couple of shots, as he always does because he'll
<v Speaker 2>never get an offensive move on Rhea because she's a woman.
<v Speaker 2>Gone over that at nauseum, just still stupid. But what
<v Speaker 2>was the plan here? And people are cheering and I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>if they just have Ria Ripley, imagine if she comes
<v Speaker 2>to the ring. I'm sure some people would actually book it.
<v Speaker 2>She comes to the ring and just clears out Judgment Day.
<v Speaker 2>She clears out Finn, clears our, Carlito clears out Dom
<v Speaker 2>of course live. I mean what, I don't know? So
<v Speaker 2>when I heard that, I go, Okay, what's she gonna do? Exactly?
<v Speaker 2>She's gonna get her ass kick, but they won't do that.
<v Speaker 2>She's got this magical shield of being a woman around her.
<v Speaker 2>No one can touch her. But the real hero here
<v Speaker 2>to save priest was jay Uso. Jay Uso was there
<v Speaker 2>to save the day. They scampered like mice when he
<v Speaker 2>came into the ring with a chair and boy, ja Uso,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I hope twenty twenty five is better to
<v Speaker 2>him than twenty twenty four was, although I'm concerned that
<v Speaker 2>twenty twenty five is gonna be kind of a regressive
<v Speaker 2>year in a lot of ways for Jay that could
<v Speaker 2>see him as part of the OG bloodline but not
<v Speaker 2>carrying singles gold. So I don't know. I guess maybe
<v Speaker 2>regression is a little strong. I think if you are
<v Speaker 2>looking at jay Uso in twenty twenty five and saying
<v Speaker 2>he will be progressing, it will be considered progressive for
<v Speaker 2>him to become a singles champion, then yeah, twenty twenty
<v Speaker 2>five I think will be regressive. But if you're looking
<v Speaker 2>for him to be truly the main event and a
<v Speaker 2>lot of pli's coming up and to be giving more
<v Speaker 2>camera time, then it actually maybe a promotion for him
<v Speaker 2>in twenty twenty five and maybe even late twenty twenty four,
<v Speaker 2>is he's about to reunite with Rowan Reins and Jimmy
<v Speaker 2>and Paul and they're they're doing it. They're they're gonna

<v Speaker 2>Bianca Bell Air and Jade Cargill versus Alba Fai and
<v Speaker 2>iylad On for the women's tag team titles. Now, let
<v Speaker 2>me get through the match before I get to the criticism,
<v Speaker 2>because the criticism is the fun part for me. I'm
<v Speaker 2>a sick individual, all right, But here we go. So
<v Speaker 2>this match was six and a half minutes. Is a
<v Speaker 2>surprise to nobody that this was a quick match, but
<v Speaker 2>it's for the women's tag team titles, and eilad On
<v Speaker 2>and Alba Fire earned it. And it ended with as
<v Speaker 2>you'd imagine, bell Air getting the hot tag to Jade,
<v Speaker 2>who then hits their finish. It's their combo that I
<v Speaker 2>guess warrants Jade to always be the one to pin
<v Speaker 2>because she's the one in that position that would pin.
<v Speaker 2>Let me get a little bit deeper into this, so
<v Speaker 2>Jade gets the victory. There's no chance iladd On and
<v Speaker 2>albah We're gonna win the titles back, none, zero. But
<v Speaker 2>as I said to open the show a little bit,
<v Speaker 2>these two need to do something quickly. And maybe it's
<v Speaker 2>not really I guess showing itself at live events yet
<v Speaker 2>with booing or any kind of frustration at least manifesting
<v Speaker 2>in person yet, but it's coming. I can feel it coming,
<v Speaker 2>and it's not just my own brain nearly watching wrestling
<v Speaker 2>for thirty years. Sometimes not all the time by any means,
<v Speaker 2>but I sometimes can get a sense of where the
<v Speaker 2>fans are going and where they might head. I have
<v Speaker 2>a strong inkling on this one that if they don't
<v Speaker 2>do something quickly with these two, they're going to turn
<v Speaker 2>on this team, turn on Jade specifically, because this team
<v Speaker 2>of Jade and Bianca is the most manufactured and performative,
<v Speaker 2>unauthentic team, not that they don't have chemistry in a
<v Speaker 2>certain way or look good in a photo together, because
<v Speaker 2>they have similar builds, they're both black women. You know.
<v Speaker 2>All of the rest and the accomplishments of Jade don't
<v Speaker 2>exactly stand the test of time against the accomplishments of Bianca,
<v Speaker 2>who has been really in the background over the last
<v Speaker 2>year and a half. I mean, she needs to come
<v Speaker 2>back to the forefront. I really missed Bianca in the
<v Speaker 2>main events because while she's helping Jade, being the idea
<v Speaker 2>that we're being declined, the opportunity to see Beyanca in
<v Speaker 2>main events does hurt because we know how damn good
<v Speaker 2>she can be at the same time, they're trying to
<v Speaker 2>build a new star in Jade. So before the turn
<v Speaker 2>of Jade and Bianca happens, which will hopefully inevitably inevitably happen,
<v Speaker 2>they're trying to build a new star and I totally
<v Speaker 2>appreciate that, But there does come a breaking point because
<v Speaker 2>what is WWE's plan if the fans decide to suddenly
<v Speaker 2>start turning on this team and the reasons why they
<v Speaker 2>might turn on this team. If you're saying, what are
<v Speaker 2>you talking about? They're fine, They're bad. Maybe people love Bianca. Well,
<v Speaker 2>the fans are noticing quickly that their tag team number one.
<v Speaker 2>They don't say much, right, They don't say much. They
<v Speaker 2>speak in platitudes, they're always obnoxiously happy. They have stupid
<v Speaker 2>little handshakes that doesn't feel authentic. It feels, as I said,
<v Speaker 2>like it came like someone came up to them and say, hey,
<v Speaker 2>you know what, it would be a really cool thing
<v Speaker 2>to do, and until they did it, it doesn't feel real.
<v Speaker 2>They don't tell you anything about themselves anymore, Like especially Jade,
<v Speaker 2>when's the last time Jade cut a promo? Tell me
<v Speaker 2>a real promo, not this kind of uh A girl
<v Speaker 2>kind of stuff, you know, because that's the attitude I
<v Speaker 2>feel like they have, Like they have this kind of
<v Speaker 2>superiority complex, especially Jade, not so much Bianca. But Jade's
<v Speaker 2>got this, you know, kind of you're not my league vibe.
<v Speaker 1>And.
<v Speaker 2>She's going to be hopefully a massive star for the company.
<v Speaker 2>She certainly already looks like one. But the problem is
<v Speaker 2>she's not actually one yet, and they're trying to get
<v Speaker 2>help Bianca get her there, but they both got obnoxious
<v Speaker 2>girl vibes. Not that girls are obnoxious. You guys are
<v Speaker 2>probably taking this out of context, but I can't explain
<v Speaker 2>it better than this. They're just those like mean girls
<v Speaker 2>kind of. But their baby faces and their matches are
<v Speaker 2>extremely formulaic. That's number two. You kind of know where
<v Speaker 2>they're gonna go. Almost every time Jade starts the match,
<v Speaker 2>she tags in Bianca, maybe tags back in Jade, who
<v Speaker 2>then tags in Bianca and Biyanca eventually gets to the
<v Speaker 2>point where she gets overwhelmed, can't get the tag. You're
<v Speaker 2>struggling out. You just want to see Jay getting the
<v Speaker 2>ring to get the hot tag. They finally get the
<v Speaker 2>hot tag to Jade. She comes in, works for like
<v Speaker 2>a minute and a half and then finish one, two three.
<v Speaker 2>It's kind of how every match has gone. Every match
<v Speaker 2>leads to a hot tag to Jade in about six
<v Speaker 2>to ten minutes, call it a night. And I'm not
<v Speaker 2>trying to have the fans turn on them. But at
<v Speaker 2>the same time, why aren't they doing more here with
<v Speaker 2>And you may say, well, they're already Woen's Tank team champions,
<v Speaker 2>but they're like hidden in the background most of the time. Again,
<v Speaker 2>they don't ever talk. That's a big, big problem why
<v Speaker 2>Bianca is definitely capable of cutting a really good promo.
<v Speaker 2>We know how good she is, and she has had
<v Speaker 2>to suppress her awesomeness at the behest of helping make
<v Speaker 2>Jade a star. So I give her all the credit
<v Speaker 2>of the world because you know, she would never say this,
<v Speaker 2>but if you gave her truth serum, she would say it.
<v Speaker 2>She would probably say, you know again, this is my opinions,
<v Speaker 2>my opinions, which is why I have my own show
<v Speaker 2>that if you gave her truth serum, she would say, Look,
<v Speaker 2>I know that it's WWE's lifeblood to create new stars,
<v Speaker 2>and look, I agree with that. I don't mind helping,
<v Speaker 2>but I have been suppressing a lot of my strengths
<v Speaker 2>of promos, singles matches, long singles matches, challenging for championships,
<v Speaker 2>to help make beyond a Jade cargillastar. And I'm tired
<v Speaker 2>of it. I'm tired of being pushed to the background.
<v Speaker 2>I'm capable of more. I main invented WrestleMania. I have
<v Speaker 2>one of the best matches at WrestleMania with Sasha Banks
<v Speaker 2>a few years ago. I'm a multi time women's champion.
<v Speaker 2>I don't get any mic time. I understand it's all
<v Speaker 2>about helping Jade. What the hell? And I would agree
<v Speaker 2>with her in this imaginary confession, because what are they
<v Speaker 2>really doing to help Jade right now? How are they
<v Speaker 2>moving Jade forward outside of doing the same poses in
<v Speaker 2>the same match formula every week. I don't mind a
<v Speaker 2>couple weeks where it's like, okay, I feel like we
<v Speaker 2>just saw that. This is like every time we see
<v Speaker 2>them both backstage with their obnoxious little girl attitude and
<v Speaker 2>the sunglasses and the carrying the belts into the arena
<v Speaker 2>and like all the they're already done in makeup. They're clearly
<v Speaker 2>not just arriving to the arena, but they're trying to
<v Speaker 2>make us pretend that they are. And so their vibe
<v Speaker 2>is the like, you know, you didn't just say that
<v Speaker 2>kind of attitude. That's the vibe I get, and it's obnoxious.
<v Speaker 2>And then she comes to the ring. Maybe she has
<v Speaker 2>like a time she has had like a for word
<v Speaker 2>promo to add to a pre match interview with like
<v Speaker 2>Jackie Redman, but she doesn't say much. We don't know
<v Speaker 2>anything about her. Have we even gotten a definitive promo
<v Speaker 2>from Jade? Yet? This is not me tearing down Jade.
<v Speaker 2>This is me trying to help move Jade forward because
<v Speaker 2>I see what they see, but they're saying one thing
<v Speaker 2>and yet we're not. They're not doing the thing that
<v Speaker 2>they're saying they want to do, which has helped the

<v Speaker 2>But the predictable outcome, which is not a complaint but
<v Speaker 2>the right move, was jay Uso winning pinning Pete Donn
<v Speaker 2>in nineteen minutes and forty seconds, and then after jay
<v Speaker 2>Uso won the number one contendership Breaker entered the ring
<v Speaker 2>and they just smile. I thought there'd be a spear.
<v Speaker 2>They just kind of stared at each other as the
<v Speaker 2>show went off the air. I mean, can you and
<v Speaker 2>I thought about this for a while with jay Uso,
<v Speaker 2>who was incapacitated. At one point, bron Strowman was on
<v Speaker 2>the outside and capacitated to end the show. Imagine Vince
<v Speaker 2>McMahon was in charge, and he saw Pete done and
<v Speaker 2>dragging off for any length of time, and the final
<v Speaker 2>segment of the show, the final minutes of the final
<v Speaker 2>segment of the show battling each other. It was dragging
<v Speaker 2>off and Pete donn butch as he was once known.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, Vince probably, if he was watching, had to
<v Speaker 2>likely turn off his phone or whatever he was watching,
<v Speaker 2>because he's probably sitting there going are you could? You know,
<v Speaker 2>that's just my presumption given what Vince would do with
<v Speaker 2>guys like that, which is just forever lock them into
<v Speaker 2>the mid card for them to Maine event a show. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>while it doesn't bother me or most fans, you just
<v Speaker 2>know Vince probably was seething at that. If he even
<v Speaker 2>cares or watches anymore, I mean I would think he does.
<v Speaker 2>That's all he knows. That's his life, and I think
<v Speaker 2>it still is in a lot of ways. But there
<v Speaker 2>is a documentary coming out on Netflix on September twenty fifth.
<v Speaker 2>We'll see how well that's done. I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>there's any interviews with Vince post the whole sexual abuse
<v Speaker 2>allegations and all that, I don't think there are because
<v Speaker 2>a lot of that litigation is still ongoing and obviously
<v Speaker 2>you don't want to make any comments in that documentary
<v Speaker 2>if the litigation is not a done deal. So I
<v Speaker 2>think all of the interviews done with Vince were pre
<v Speaker 2>any of those allegations. So but nonetheless, it's gonna be
<v Speaker 2>an interesting documentary on Netflix, I believe, in a couple
<v Speaker 2>of weeks, and so that's coming. And again, if you
