<v Speaker 1>This is WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre and you're listening to
<v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast show.
<v Speaker 2>The one that everybody wants me.
<v Speaker 3>Got sixteen, So your ass is my.
<v Speaker 1>N you can acknowledge me.
<v Speaker 2>Let's talk Monday Night RAW as it took place last
<v Speaker 2>night right off of Bad Blood. Some good wrestling matches
<v Speaker 2>I thought. I thought overall, it was a show that
<v Speaker 2>didn't overly impress, but delivered on the matches that were advertised,
<v Speaker 2>particularly Sammy's Ay and Gunther. We even saw an interaction
<v Speaker 2>backstage with Gunther and bron Breaker. We add a tease
<v Speaker 2>of Seth Rollins and him Punk again. But before we
<v Speaker 2>get to that, I want to address something I know
<v Speaker 2>that many of you think I have forgotten or not
<v Speaker 2>even mentioned, the fact that Kevin Owens turned on Cody Rhoads.
<v Speaker 2>All right, let me just let me just say this.
<v Speaker 2>The reason I haven't mentioned it. Number one, I just
<v Speaker 2>simply forgot, not that they didn't know. Secondly, even though
<v Speaker 2>that that happened, this means nothing in the grand scheme
<v Speaker 2>of things. I hate to say it for Kevin Owens,
<v Speaker 2>who never seems to be in the right place at
<v Speaker 2>the right time for a title change. He has now
<v Speaker 2>time to step aside again because Gunther and Cody Rhodes
<v Speaker 2>have their match coming up at Crown Jewel for the
<v Speaker 2>beloved and very very very respected Exalted a championship for
<v Speaker 2>Crown Jewel, and that means Kevin Owens. Sure he could
<v Speaker 2>could compete against Cody Rhods on SmackDown, and you could
<v Speaker 2>have a title change on SmackDown, but more than likely
<v Speaker 2>this is just another one of Kevin Owens is always bride'smaid,
<v Speaker 2>never the bride type of deals, meaning he's gonna eventually
<v Speaker 2>face Cody for the belt again even though he lost
<v Speaker 2>the first time around, but he'll lose again. The story
<v Speaker 2>is the rock, So do whatever you want with Kevin Owens.
<v Speaker 2>I actually thought, and I said this, you guys can
<v Speaker 2>go back and listen that out of the trio of
<v Speaker 2>that alliance that you knew somebody was gonna implode with
<v Speaker 2>of Kevin and Randy and Cody, that Kevin Owens was
<v Speaker 2>the last and least interesting one to turn heel because
<v Speaker 2>we've been down the road of Kevin Owens facing Cody
<v Speaker 2>Roads before and recently, if you remember, he basically had
<v Speaker 2>to force the title shot down. Kevin Owens's throat, which
<v Speaker 2>was a stupid creative decision. It just made no sense.
<v Speaker 2>But the fact that he turns heel, I guess gives
<v Speaker 2>him another shot sometime soon. It doesn't interest fans in
<v Speaker 2>the way that it should because we know the outcome
<v Speaker 2>is no chance in hell that Kevin Owens wins. It'll
<v Speaker 2>be a fun match. Sure it brings Kevin Owones back heel,
<v Speaker 2>but the one we want to see really turn is
<v Speaker 2>Randy and maybe they're saving that for a bigger time
<v Speaker 2>in place, a bigger stage. That's probably what they're doing
<v Speaker 2>here because Kevin Owens is the least interesting to turn heel.
<v Speaker 2>It just he just is no disrespect to Kevin, but
<v Speaker 2>it is what it is, and I think we'll get
<v Speaker 2>a nice little mini program side program out of Kevin
<v Speaker 2>Owens there. He's not joining the bloodline, you know. I've
<v Speaker 2>heard a few people suggest that, not a chance. Kevin
<v Speaker 2>Owonans is just gonna go back to his roots and
<v Speaker 2>we're gonna see the Kevin Owens of old, and I'm
<v Speaker 2>fine with that. I'm totally fine with that. And to
<v Speaker 2>be honest, I think he is in a lot of
<v Speaker 2>ways a better heel, But he does play both nicely.
<v Speaker 2>He doesn't feel like a Charlotte Flair when you know
<v Speaker 2>she's a baby face, never quite feels right. Kevin Owens
<v Speaker 2>is a heel, you know, as I think about it,
<v Speaker 2>you know, he is as close to as good as
<v Speaker 2>a baby face as he is a heel. And that's
<v Speaker 2>why he's been a babyface for so long after the
<v Speaker 2>really it happened, after the the run of bringing Stone
<v Speaker 2>Cold out of retirement at WrestleMania thirty eight, right was
<v Speaker 2>it thirty eight? And now he's you know, back into
<v Speaker 2>that heel roll again, and tis the cycle of wrestling
<v Speaker 2>characters typically. So I wanted to bring that up because
<v Speaker 2>I know that many of you have said you can't
<v Speaker 2>I can't believe you didn't comment, and I can't believe
<v Speaker 2>you didn't say anything. And it's simply for the fact
<v Speaker 2>that there's so much going on, I just forgot, and
<v Speaker 2>I you know, watching it, knowing it's inconsequential for the
<v Speaker 2>main storyline is also what kind of shielded it from
<v Speaker 2>my memory when I'm recording here. So because the real story,
<v Speaker 2>as I said, is the Rock and Cody Rhodes did
<v Speaker 2>show up on unraw, and I'll give it a pass
<v Speaker 2>only because he does have a upcoming with Gunther in
<v Speaker 2>four weeks or really three and a half as I
<v Speaker 2>record this, So that's not I'll give that a pass
<v Speaker 2>as I'm a bit of a Nazi when it comes
<v Speaker 2>to the adhering to brand rules and all that. But
<v Speaker 2>since he has an upcoming match, I'm okay with it.
<v Speaker 2>But Gunther, Uh, Guntherer and samyse Ain had a stellar match,
<v Speaker 2>pl e quality match as you would expect. Did anybody
<v Speaker 2>expect anything less from these two?
<v Speaker 3>No?
<v Speaker 2>The answer is no, because these two are just a
<v Speaker 2>joy to watch. Gunther continues to improve in all aspects. This,
<v Speaker 2>I think, though, does cement Sammy's ain back to the
<v Speaker 2>mid card, the upper mid card if anything. I think
<v Speaker 2>that's where he's gonna live. Maybe he'll end up trying
<v Speaker 2>to compete for the Intercontinental title even though Jay is
<v Speaker 2>his friend, and there'll be a little tension there what happens.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, perhaps you could think about turning Sammy Zain heel.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe now that Kevin owns is heel, there's a little
<v Speaker 2>bit of something there. Maybe you could, given that they're
<v Speaker 2>on opposite brandson who knows, but that like you won't
<v Speaker 2>likely won't happen. If it does, it all until after
<v Speaker 2>Samy's ain reunites with the Bloodline and he maybe is
<v Speaker 2>the final piece before the Survivor series, the anticipated Survivor's
<v Speaker 2>series match with Bloodline versus Bloodline. But welcome to the show, everybody.
<v Speaker 2>This is the WWE Podcast. We're here nearly every day,
<v Speaker 2>if if not with new shows, with retro shows and
<v Speaker 2>shows that you haven't heard in years. In some cases,
<v Speaker 2>then I bring those out. And a couple weeks ago
<v Speaker 2>I released even my very first mail Bag show I
<v Speaker 2>did four years ago. That's how long I've been doing
<v Speaker 2>the mail Bag. The very first one I did, I
<v Speaker 2>believe it was a November of twenty twenty, so that's
<v Speaker 2>how long ago the mail Bag started. I released that
<v Speaker 2>a couple of weeks ago ad free on Patreon, by
<v Speaker 2>the way, and we continue to pump out retro shows
<v Speaker 2>but new content as well, and have an NXT review
<v Speaker 2>show for you tomorrow with Jay who is doing the
<v Speaker 2>NXT reviews now. And we have then the mail Bag
<v Speaker 2>coming on Friday, so don't miss it. We got a
<v Speaker 2>lot coming up and a new after Dark show is
<v Speaker 2>coming for those who are on Patreon. This week as well. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>so head on over to patreon dot com slash ww
<v Speaker 2>podcast if you want all the exclusive at free content
<v Speaker 2>and that extra show of after Dark. What is after Dark?
<v Speaker 2>You ask an adult version of the show. I'll just
<v Speaker 2>leave it at that. So let's get into the nitty
<v Speaker 2>gritty of Monday Night Raw here and we'll start right
<v Speaker 2>at the top of the show. And the show had
<v Speaker 2>Samantha Irvin introducing Sexy Red, who is standing in the ring.
<v Speaker 2>Good God and Red played to the crowd. She's also
<v Speaker 2>scheduled to appear in the NXT show on Tuesday. I
<v Speaker 2>have to say, no one cares. I don't care. I
<v Speaker 2>don't even know who the hell Sexy Red is. I
<v Speaker 2>don't think there's a There's not much canvas left that
<v Speaker 2>she doesn't have ink on on her on her body.
<v Speaker 2>I'll tell you that. My god, the amount of tattoo
<v Speaker 2>she has makes rear Ripley look like she's a Christian schoolgirl.
<v Speaker 2>But with Sexy Red, I don't care. I know that
<v Speaker 2>they're doing this because they're trying to get more eyeballs
<v Speaker 2>and crossover audience and dah blah blah blah blah. But uh,
<v Speaker 2>this and if you haven't seen it yet either. It's
<v Speaker 2>making its rounds on the internet. Triple H posted a
<v Speaker 2>picture with Sexy Red and it's horrible. I mean not
<v Speaker 2>horrible in the way that it's grotesque or just wrong.
<v Speaker 2>It just feels icky, like Sexy Red has. She has
<v Speaker 2>no affiliation with pro wrestling. This does nothing for me.
<v Speaker 2>But look at Triple H as kind of a corporate
<v Speaker 2>ste huge who's trying to you know, for like toe
<v Speaker 2>of the company line and work with celebrities that have
<v Speaker 2>nothing to do with wrestling that I don't know. I
<v Speaker 2>just I'm not a fan of Sexy Red if you
<v Speaker 2>could tell. On a lot of levels. Music doesn't do
<v Speaker 2>it for me. Don't care her look, and this is
<v Speaker 2>gonna anger some people. She's she's kind of she's kind
<v Speaker 2>of got a trashy look. She just does and I
<v Speaker 2>love you. Oh how could you say that? Here comes
<v Speaker 2>the racist claims. Look, I don't care about I can
<v Speaker 2>call her. It's just the trashy look to me. I
<v Speaker 2>mean the name of Sexy Red. That that's all you
<v Speaker 2>need to know, all right. So and look, she's seemingly
<v Speaker 2>very successful in her music, Otherwise w wouldn't bring her on.
<v Speaker 2>So good for her. This is just my personal opinion,
<v Speaker 2>all right, not my thing. Her music ain't my thing,
<v Speaker 2>Her look isn't my thing. Wwe pairing that this this
<v Speaker 2>co op here doesn't do anything for me, and I'll
<v Speaker 2>just leave it at that. It was. It was a
<v Speaker 2>bad look and a lot of people, I think felt
<v Speaker 2>the same way if you look at the comments for
<v Speaker 2>this photo on X and other places. So yeah, come on,
<v Speaker 2>let's go with the racist claims, and yeah, who cares,
<v Speaker 2>has nothing to do with that, but think whatever the
<v Speaker 2>hell you want. See him. Punk comes out and he
<v Speaker 2>he's limping, and he has a wrap on his right
<v Speaker 2>elbow and bandages on his forehead and his cheek, and
<v Speaker 2>he says that it's good not to be dead in
<v Speaker 2>Saint Louis on a Monday night, and said he'd been
<v Speaker 2>through enough this weekend. If they were gonna set him
<v Speaker 2>on fire, this was the time. He's no condition, he's
<v Speaker 2>no in no condition to walk to the ring, so
<v Speaker 2>he'd be speaking from the stage. Yet he mustered all
<v Speaker 2>this energy to uh after the match last night, go
<v Speaker 2>to his hotel room, pack his bags, catch a flight
<v Speaker 2>from Atlanta to Saint Louis, go through all the security,
<v Speaker 2>get his you know, g rent his car, go to
<v Speaker 2>his hotel room, walk down from his hotel room, get
<v Speaker 2>to the arena, walk through the arena, and he just
<v Speaker 2>ran out of gas. Ran out of gas presumably in between,
<v Speaker 2>maybe even stopping for food. And you know, but boy,
<v Speaker 2>the tank ran to e the second he went out.
<v Speaker 2>And he's like, I just I just can't get to
<v Speaker 2>that ring. I can't do it. So again, guys, not
<v Speaker 2>a complaint, just I'm thinking to myself, well, wait a minute,
<v Speaker 2>you travel the hundreds of miles and now you just
<v Speaker 2>can't walk fifty feet to the ring. Whatever. It's symbolic.
<v Speaker 2>I know it was part of his promo, and you
<v Speaker 2>know what, I think it was effective to a degree.
<v Speaker 2>And he keeps hinting without directly saying it about retirement,
<v Speaker 2>and he just said he doesn't know what the future
<v Speaker 2>holds for him. He said. He recalled saying you had
<v Speaker 2>no hell in a cell matches left in him, and
<v Speaker 2>he was right, except he won and participated in one.
<v Speaker 2>But sure, Punk said, he's more banged up than he's
<v Speaker 2>ever been in his entire life. I actually believe that
<v Speaker 2>that's very possible, he said. As much as he loves
<v Speaker 2>the fans he just doesn't know and thanked his rider
<v Speaker 2>die fans. He said, there's never been in a second
<v Speaker 2>a second of his career. He didn't think he could
<v Speaker 2>do it without the fans, and he thinks his thanked
<v Speaker 2>his peers and feels privileged and kissing the ass of
<v Speaker 2>basically everyone backstage. And then he wanted to thank to
<v Speaker 2>people that don't like him at all, and that there's
<v Speaker 2>a thin line between love and hate and he's turned
<v Speaker 2>hate into cash. Actually there's not a thin line. There's
<v Speaker 2>like a whole ocean between love and hate. I don't
<v Speaker 2>know where that analogy comes from. I mean, I guess
<v Speaker 2>you could say both are very strong emotions. Both are
<v Speaker 2>very strong emotions. Both both emotions lead people to do
<v Speaker 2>stupid things. I guess that's where the similarities end, because
<v Speaker 2>the emotions are diametrically opposed, you know, other than them
<v Speaker 2>being the exact opposites. Sure, there's a thin line. I'm
<v Speaker 2>not getting up punk for this, just the phrase itself
<v Speaker 2>that you hear a lot. So anyway, he said he's
<v Speaker 2>turned the hate into cash, so he thanks them, and
<v Speaker 2>he's basically saying, yeah, hate me all you want, but
<v Speaker 2>I'm making money off your hate. Wait, fine, yeah, that's
<v Speaker 2>kind of a that's a fun line. Punk looked into
<v Speaker 2>the camera and says he doesn't know why they keep
<v Speaker 2>doubting him, but he hopes they keep doing that. And
<v Speaker 2>he said he's gonna go home because he hasn't seen
<v Speaker 2>his wife in five weeks, and that he'd see the
<v Speaker 2>fan soon. He wanted to say that, but he wasn't sure.
<v Speaker 2>It's a lot of doubt, a lot of I'm hurt,
<v Speaker 2>I'm old kind of thing, like, man, I don't know
<v Speaker 2>how long keep doing this, And I'm sure legitimately he
<v Speaker 2>was thinking that, And you know, it does make you
<v Speaker 2>wonder when Punk is retiring. Obviously it's not right now.
<v Speaker 2>Obviously it's not this year. It probably isn't a year
<v Speaker 2>or two, is my guess. When he's done with this
<v Speaker 2>contract with WE that's probably it, I would think, But
<v Speaker 2>who knows, only Phil Brooks and you know, but I
<v Speaker 2>had an idea that this is kind of be the
<v Speaker 2>pause for Punk because there's nowhere for him to go
<v Speaker 2>between now and Crown Jewel anyway. I mean, after the
<v Speaker 2>hemlet of cell at his age, he's gonna recovery legitimately
<v Speaker 2>not storyline but real recovery to recharge his batteries. He
<v Speaker 2>probably does, you want to actually spend time with his
<v Speaker 2>wife and his dog, and that's all fine and well,
<v Speaker 2>so sure that makes actually perfect sense that he would
<v Speaker 2>go back and do these things. And also because storyline wise,
<v Speaker 2>what's he gonna do the answer, I mean, he can't
<v Speaker 2>challenge Gunther like he tried to the last time he
<v Speaker 2>had a match with Drew with the Texas Bullope match
<v Speaker 2>I think it was, and the Strap match. Keeps saying
<v Speaker 2>Texas Burope. It was the Strap match. He's tried to
<v Speaker 2>say that I'm coming after Gunther and that's when Drew
<v Speaker 2>attacked him again and this that led to the Hell
<v Speaker 2>and a Cell match. So he can't go after gun
<v Speaker 2>through because Gunther is tied up now with Cody Rose
<v Speaker 2>for Crown Jewel. He can't go to Seth Rollins yet,
<v Speaker 2>even though we got a big tease of that after
<v Speaker 2>this segment here, because Punk or rather Seth Rollins is
<v Speaker 2>gonna work with Bronson Reid for the next month. So
<v Speaker 2>Punk has no to go. So the best thing is
<v Speaker 2>give him five weeks off, have him come back to
<v Speaker 2>Monday Net Raw after Crown Jewel leading into Survivor Series.
<v Speaker 2>Who does he work with? Then maybe it is Gunther,
<v Speaker 2>It probably is. I would think Gunther and Punk is
<v Speaker 2>a main event for Survivor Series for the world title,
<v Speaker 2>and that's maybe where Seth Rollins screws Punk and then
<v Speaker 2>they lead into the WrestleMania match. After in November, get
<v Speaker 2>in December, and off away you go. So that's my
<v Speaker 2>thought on that, and a perfect time for Punk to
<v Speaker 2>take time off and they had some you know this
<v Speaker 2>stare down as they have been. And it's been almost
<v Speaker 2>a year now since Punk's return almost and having him
<v Speaker 2>and Seth still not have a match is actually quite
<v Speaker 2>extraordinary after everything that transpired in Chicago at that War
<v Speaker 2>Games match, after the match and the big massive reaction
<v Speaker 2>for Punk's return a year ago, nearly all the stuff
<v Speaker 2>that happened with Seth during that it seemed like he
<v Speaker 2>was legitimately angry. People are talking about it, It got
<v Speaker 2>the Internet ablaze, and a year later we still haven't
<v Speaker 2>got the match.
<v Speaker 3>Now.
<v Speaker 2>Granted, Punk was injured for many months and that took
<v Speaker 2>a lot of the steam out of it, and it
<v Speaker 2>just it derailed the WrestleMania match. So it's just amazing
<v Speaker 2>if you had said, like, you know, we'd be here
<v Speaker 2>and a year later, if you had told me, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>we still haven't got to that match, I would have
<v Speaker 2>been like, what are you talking about? You know, it's
<v Speaker 2>just crazy the way life works. So moving on seth
<v Speaker 2>Rollins has said he came out nothing really said he
<v Speaker 2>did shove Punk a little bit on the shoulder as
<v Speaker 2>he head to the ring, and he said Rollins that
<v Speaker 2>has said things have been crazy and mentioned things that
<v Speaker 2>happened at the event last night with bad Blood, and
<v Speaker 2>he mentioned that Cody got punch in the mouth by
<v Speaker 2>Kevin Owens and Rollins said he wasn't supposed to talk
<v Speaker 2>about that, so he get things back on track, sure whatever.
<v Speaker 2>Rollins then went through his catchphrases and he said he's
<v Speaker 2>back to destroy Bronson Reid, and he mentioned that Reid
<v Speaker 2>was not at raw and he said he knew Reid
<v Speaker 2>was somewhere watching, and Rollins looked into the cameras and
<v Speaker 2>told Reed that he tried to end his career a
<v Speaker 2>few months ago just to make a name for himself,
<v Speaker 2>and he said after six tsunamis he does know his
<v Speaker 2>name and if Reid wants to be famous, he'll give
<v Speaker 2>him the fifteen minutes and challenged him to a match anytime,
<v Speaker 2>any places. That was it, which I would think is
<v Speaker 2>Crown Jewel, but who the hell knows. It could be
<v Speaker 2>easily a Monday night raw match. I mean, they're doing it.
<v Speaker 2>No championship is safe anymore when it comes to just
<v Speaker 2>being on ples, so they're certainly not going to be
<v Speaker 2>shy about giving away Rollins and Bronson Reid on a raw,
<v Speaker 2>which again I'm fine, you know, I don't have an
<v Speaker 2>issue with that, but I'm also fine if they want
<v Speaker 2>to put it on the Crown Jewel event. I think
<v Speaker 2>it's worthy of that. If if you're trying to elevate
<v Speaker 2>Bronson Reid to get him in the eyeballs of more fans,
<v Speaker 2>then it makes sense to put him in front of
<v Speaker 2>more fans. And he's made a hell of an impact
<v Speaker 2>over the last two months with his attack on Rollins
<v Speaker 2>and then his really unexpectedly fun program with Braunz Stroman.
<v Speaker 2>The braun and the braun thing messes me up, like
<v Speaker 2>Bronson Reed and Braunz Stroman, I keep mixing it up,
<v Speaker 2>as I'm sure many of the many of you guys
<v Speaker 2>are all right. Jus On Xavier Woods for the Intercontinental title.
<v Speaker 2>Was the very first match of the night and really
<v Speaker 2>fun match as you would imagine, but it was pretty
<v Speaker 2>quick as Jay Uso beat Xavier Woods in six and
<v Speaker 2>a half minutes, and he beat him clean. Woods jumped
<v Speaker 2>up from the ropes caught by superkick splash victory. Xavier
<v Speaker 2>went down without a whimper. Essentially, it wasn't a squash,
<v Speaker 2>but it was a more decisive victory than you'd imagine,
<v Speaker 2>and then you knew that Xavier wasn't gonna win. It
<v Speaker 2>was about what happens next. So after the match, Jay
<v Speaker 2>joined Kofee in the ring to help Woods get to
<v Speaker 2>his feet, and then Woods blew off Jay's handshake and
<v Speaker 2>bron Breaker came out of nowhere and speared Jay and
<v Speaker 2>Woods tried to stop Kingston from helping him, but Kingston
<v Speaker 2>broke free, went to the ring, Breaker hit Kingston with
<v Speaker 2>a spear. Woods got spired on the outside, and all
<v Speaker 2>of you that thought Bronson or brother Braun Breaker, see
<v Speaker 2>how many bees are there here? We got Braun, Braun
<v Speaker 2>and Bronson. Yikes. Somebody's gotta change it, or somebody's gotta
<v Speaker 2>either shorten or extend their name. You can't have. There's
<v Speaker 2>too many, So let me just imagine these three in
<v Speaker 2>a triple threat and you're the announcer. No thanks, all right,
<v Speaker 2>But my point is many of you thought or were
<v Speaker 2>concerned that it was gonna be a bron Breaker babyface
<v Speaker 2>turn after he was very cordial with jay Uso winning
<v Speaker 2>the Intercontinental title a couple of weeks ago, and that's
<v Speaker 2>not the case. As I had kind of warned you,
<v Speaker 2>I think it's probably a setup for Bronson, or rather so, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I just did it again for bron Breaker to just
<v Speaker 2>double down on his intensity, on his violence, And that's
<v Speaker 2>exactly what happened here, spearing everybody in sight. And he
<v Speaker 2>is the bron Breaker that we all knew to begin with.
<v Speaker 2>And I think that's a good thing, because what are
<v Speaker 2>you gonna do? Turn? You're gonna turn Breaker into a
<v Speaker 2>soft babyface? No, suddenly he cares about the fans? No,
<v Speaker 2>you know, So this adds beyond the bron Breaker double
<v Speaker 2>turn kind of or we have the second part of this,
<v Speaker 2>which is, of course Xavier, was this continued frustration that's
<v Speaker 2>building and building and building, which we'll have a blow
<v Speaker 2>often about a month as we kind of all look
<v Speaker 2>at that date whatever it is that we circle on
<v Speaker 2>the calendar where we're gonna have Xavier Woods turn. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>that's all that's this is a big, big setup for
<v Speaker 2>that moment and it's coming, all right. We have, of course, backstage,
<v Speaker 2>Jackie Redman caught up with bron Breaker and said everyone
<v Speaker 2>was confused because he showed Jay I respect a week ago,
<v Speaker 2>and Redmond asked Breaker, what's going on? And Breaker looked
<v Speaker 2>at her and walked away. And so yeah, I mean,
<v Speaker 2>either they thought about it and decided in let's turn
<v Speaker 2>it back heel, or this was a setup. I think
<v Speaker 2>it was probably a setup. I really just do all right,
<v Speaker 2>So let's go. We have another We have peaked don
<v Speaker 2>and peaked on Seamus video package that's set up their
<v Speaker 2>Donnybrook match and and let's see the next match was
<v Speaker 2>in fact the Donnybrook match of Seamus and Pete Donne.
<v Speaker 2>And before that, though, Truth Our Truth did took issue
<v Speaker 2>with the Miz attacking him on purpose, and Truth didn't
<v Speaker 2>attack him is but he was kind of taken back
<v Speaker 2>by the fact that Miz attacked him on purpose, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, told miss hey, I'm not in the judgment
<v Speaker 2>day anymore. So a little bit of a kind of
<v Speaker 2>mini side program going on here. I mean, Truth doesn't
<v Speaker 2>nearly have the momentum he did prior to this, prior
<v Speaker 2>to the WrestleMania run, prior to all that, when he
<v Speaker 2>was in the Judgment Day and all the hilarious segments
<v Speaker 2>he was doing, of photoshopping himself into the Judgment Day
<v Speaker 2>and just just it was that was all just comedic.
<v Speaker 2>Cold our Truth has definitely cooled off, so we'll see
<v Speaker 2>how long his run last year. But this match with
<v Speaker 2>here Seamus and Pete Done was brutal. Both men get
<v Speaker 2>a hell of a lot of credit here. Crazy bu
<v Speaker 2>umps the whiskey barrels, the white I'm sorry, the whiskey barrel,
<v Speaker 2>white noise, bump off the barrels onto the table, got
<v Speaker 2>a holy s chant, which I mean, like I've said,
<v Speaker 2>and many others have as well. I can't wait until
<v Speaker 2>Netflix so we can stop you screwing at the audio,
<v Speaker 2>you know, because every time I hear the audio cut out,
<v Speaker 2>as many of you do, you're thinking, oh crap, what
<v Speaker 2>happened to my signal? What happened to my WiFi? And
<v Speaker 2>it sounds exactly like something's wrong with your WiFi. So
<v Speaker 2>I just can't wait. I know they have to do it,
<v Speaker 2>but it's just like, oh my god, it's it's obnoxious.
<v Speaker 2>But Seamus got done back inside the ring, and the
<v Speaker 2>joint manipulation stuff is just as I've said with is
<v Speaker 2>just it's boring. No one cares about the joint manipulation
<v Speaker 2>except the announcers who are trying to put it over,
<v Speaker 2>like you know, fingers are snapping, and Seamus got put
<v Speaker 2>into who was not handcuffs but zip ties, zip ties.
<v Speaker 2>Seamus hands were behind his back and Seamus ended up
<v Speaker 2>getting still a knee to Pete Dunn and hit him
<v Speaker 2>with a bro kick got the victory. So Testatur called
<v Speaker 2>it a legendary moment for Seamus. I don't know about that.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, really a legendary moment, huh, you know, not
<v Speaker 2>not winning the w Championship for Shamus, not winning the
<v Speaker 2>Royal Rumble for Seamus. No, it's this moment beating a
<v Speaker 2>former teammate who was called Butch's that's a true legendary moment.
<v Speaker 2>Joe and am I getting on him kind of? You know,
<v Speaker 2>I know his job is to put talent over, but
<v Speaker 2>you know you can only go so far before it's
<v Speaker 2>eye rolling This was an eye rolling comment. So relaxed, Joe.
<v Speaker 2>This was not a legendary moment. If you know anything
<v Speaker 2>about Seamus's career, this will not even be remembered by
<v Speaker 2>most people when his career is said and done. If
<v Speaker 2>it's so legendary, you don't forget legendary moments. Legendary moments
<v Speaker 2>live in infamy. They're rare, and they're remembered by most
<v Speaker 2>people who think of a name and go oh, they're
<v Speaker 2>associated with that moment. Yeah. I don't think Seamus, upon
<v Speaker 2>his whole and fame induction ceremony, is going to have
<v Speaker 2>even this even in the most hardcore of fans' minds.
<v Speaker 2>This match so legendary moment, I mean, not even not
<v Speaker 2>even close. So whatever, I gotta give Joe a little
<v Speaker 2>bit crap for that, because you know, the over exaggeration
<v Speaker 2>is done, you know, quite a bit. Okay, So then
<v Speaker 2>we got Cody Rhoades being interviewed by Kathy Kelly backstage,
<v Speaker 2>and Cody has bandages on the bridge of his nose.
<v Speaker 2>He said he couldn't speculate it what happened at Bad
<v Speaker 2>Blood and said he wasn't sure you'd hear He said
<v Speaker 2>he was sure you'd hear more about it on SmackDown,
<v Speaker 2>And he said he was just there to find out
<v Speaker 2>what it takes to be the first Crown Jeweled Champion. Really,
<v Speaker 2>is that where you're there, Cody? So you're there to
<v Speaker 2>just find out what it takes. What are you learning
<v Speaker 2>by appearing at raw Are you suddenly are you suddenly
<v Speaker 2>absorbing all of this or are you endowed with all
<v Speaker 2>this knowledge about Oh that's what it takes. Well, hell,
<v Speaker 2>I didn't know what are you learning? You did nothing
<v Speaker 2>while you were there? Did you cast a spell? Did
<v Speaker 2>you did you acquire mind reading skills? I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, that's such a weak week response. He was
<v Speaker 2>there to find out what it takes to be Crown
<v Speaker 2>Jewel Champion. Yet he's the WWE undisputed champion. He just
<v Speaker 2>beat the most dominant champion in our modern in our lifetimes,
<v Speaker 2>and he's there to figure out how to win a
<v Speaker 2>championship that no one cares about and was just invented
<v Speaker 2>five seconds ago. Got it?
<v Speaker 1>You know?
<v Speaker 2>And also if worrying about well he's wearing, he's trying
<v Speaker 2>to scout his opponent. He's had extensive work with Gunther.
<v Speaker 2>He can also do what we do, and I don't know,
<v Speaker 2>turn on his phone and just take a look at
<v Speaker 2>any of the footage from Gunther he worked with him
<v Speaker 2>at the end of the Rumble a couple of years ago.
<v Speaker 2>He can see what we all see. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I'm getting on Cody because I especially hate his babyface character.
<v Speaker 2>Like I'm seething, I'm dripping with contempt for his character.
<v Speaker 2>But he walked away, and he crossed paths with Sammy's
<v Speaker 2>Aim who told him that he plans to be the
<v Speaker 2>person who he will face it Crown Jewel Lol. Zayn
<v Speaker 2>tried to bring up what happened with Kevin Owens and
<v Speaker 2>Cody cut him off and said they didn't have to
<v Speaker 2>talk about that. And Cody said he hopes he faces
<v Speaker 2>Zay and wishes him luck. Okay. We then had footage
<v Speaker 2>from earlier in the day of Raquel Rodriguez driving a
<v Speaker 2>black SEV into the Arena parking garage and open the
<v Speaker 2>rear door and Dom and Live exited the vehicle, which
<v Speaker 2>is funny. Jackie Ridmand approached Live Morgan and asked for
<v Speaker 2>her comment on Rhea Ripley. Morgan said Ripley may have
<v Speaker 2>technically beat her by dq but she still has her
<v Speaker 2>title and Dom Redmond tried to ask Rodriguez if she's
<v Speaker 2>a member of the Judgment day Morgan cut her off
<v Speaker 2>the trio. I guess we're not gonna answer that yet,
<v Speaker 2>but they decided to leave. So the broadcast team then
<v Speaker 2>did a fan sign spotlight and they focused on a
<v Speaker 2>just married couple. So that's kind of cool that the
<v Speaker 2>Usually those fans signs they do during the non televised
<v Speaker 2>portion of the show, you know, when they're on commercial break.
<v Speaker 2>They do those things for the people and just an attendance,
<v Speaker 2>so it's interesting that they're doing it for live television.
<v Speaker 2>Risky risky. So rob general manager Adam Pierce was backstage
<v Speaker 2>talking with NXT GM Ava when Ethan Page showed up,
<v Speaker 2>and Page said Seampunk cost him the NXT Championship, which
<v Speaker 2>if you guys watch NXT or here are reviews. Saampunk
<v Speaker 2>did get hands on with Ethan Page anyway, when he
<v Speaker 2>was special referee for last week's match, but Pierce said
<v Speaker 2>he didn't appoint Punk as the special ref Ava said
<v Speaker 2>she was so flattered that Page came all the way
<v Speaker 2>to Saint Louis just to confront her, and Ava said
<v Speaker 2>it was so sweet, and she'd liked to hear him
<v Speaker 2>yap like he does every week, but she was off
<v Speaker 2>the clock. Page asked what she was doing there? All right?
<v Speaker 2>Then we get more of sexy Red and again she
<v Speaker 2>comes in and hugs Ava and Pierce, and Pierce cleared
<v Speaker 2>his throat and offered Red a handshake, and Red shook
<v Speaker 2>his hand and asked how he was doing. Paige said
<v Speaker 2>he'd done better and walked away. Yeah, no, sorry, go away,
<v Speaker 2>leave please. There are some celebrities I have to say
<v Speaker 2>that do kind of fit oddly in pro wrestling. Idly.
<v Speaker 2>Bob Barker remember when it was that whole era of
<v Speaker 2>it was Cools as a celebrity to host Money at Raw,
<v Speaker 2>and there were some really bad ones. Bob Barker remember
<v Speaker 2>he who I mean? We all know him from Prices right,
<v Speaker 2>But he actually did a pretty good job. He fit
<v Speaker 2>in oddly enough, at eighty five years old hosting Money
<v Speaker 2>at Raw. It just worked. I thought it was gonna
<v Speaker 2>be a disaster. It wasn't, all right. Remember didn't Snooky
<v Speaker 2>Remember Snooky from Jersey Shore. She had a WrestleMania match.
<v Speaker 2>Remember that? Oh my god? All right, So the next
<v Speaker 2>match here of Sonya, Deville's Shanna Bailer is always start
<v Speaker 2>can Alba Fire and eilid On took on Natalia Lyra, Valkyria, Caden, Carter, Katana, Chance,
<v Speaker 2>and Zelena Vega in a ten woman tag team match
<v Speaker 2>a Teddy Long special. This ended in seven minutes with Natalia, Lyra, Caden,
<v Speaker 2>Katana and Zelena beating the rest of the women, and
<v Speaker 2>the finish was Vega put Devilla in a sleeper, Devil
<v Speaker 2>backed her into the corner while trying to break the move,
<v Speaker 2>and Valkyria made a blind tag. Devil was able to
<v Speaker 2>fling Vega to the mat, but then Valkyia hit de
<v Speaker 2>vill with a leg drop from the top rope and pinder.
<v Speaker 2>So Valkyria is building a little momentum here. Care about
<v Speaker 2>such things, keep an eye on it.
<v Speaker 1>You know.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not putting too much stock into a ten woman
<v Speaker 2>tag team match, but it is something for the stars
<v Speaker 2>of tomorrow, all right. We then have a video package
<v Speaker 2>on the build to gun Through versus Zayne, and we
<v Speaker 2>got the match here. So there's only four wrestling matches
<v Speaker 2>on mon Net Raw. Pretty crazy, but yeah, I have
<v Speaker 2>to say I don't mind it. I don't need every
<v Speaker 2>show being insanely wrestling heavy. You can't have of these
<v Speaker 2>shows here, especially when the talent need to damn break,
<v Speaker 2>you know, and they don't need to kill her bodies.
<v Speaker 2>Just two days after they literally went through hell, you
<v Speaker 2>noticed that Drew McIntyre wasn't there, By the way, keep
<v Speaker 2>that in mind, and you just have to from the
<v Speaker 2>human perspective, understand that it's probably good for these men
<v Speaker 2>and women to not always be killing themselves out there.
<v Speaker 2>And whether this is on purpose or not, I do
<v Speaker 2>like for the talents perspective, them to get some especially
<v Speaker 2>those that were on the card, to get to a
<v Speaker 2>little bit of a rest and make it a little
<v Speaker 2>bit more of a promo heavy, review video package type
<v Speaker 2>of show. You can have that every once in a while.
<v Speaker 2>But this match here with Gunther and Seamus or Gum sorry,
<v Speaker 2>Gunther and Sammy Zin delivered and this match went sixteen
<v Speaker 2>minutes and forty seconds. Gunther beat Sammy as he should have,
<v Speaker 2>and some really fun moments here, the kickout of the
<v Speaker 2>power bomb, the kickout of the Halluva kick, The second
<v Speaker 2>power bomb that Gunner delivered on Sammy rendered a one count,
<v Speaker 2>the second one rendered a one count, and then Zay
<v Speaker 2>hulked up interesting choice there. I have mixed feelings. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know how I feel about it. It's definitely different.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know the last time that I've seen the
<v Speaker 2>second finish of the match not be closer than the
<v Speaker 2>first one when it comes to the three count, but
<v Speaker 2>actually be you know, have less of an effect even
<v Speaker 2>though you're deeper into the match. I don't know the
<v Speaker 2>last time I've seen that. So that was interesting from
<v Speaker 2>that perspective. But also you're diminishing the overall effectiveness of
<v Speaker 2>finishers as a category, and that that's that's something I've
<v Speaker 2>spoken at at length on this show. Just a general,
<v Speaker 2>fund foundational issue with pro wrestling today is the overuse
<v Speaker 2>of finishes and the overuse of kickouts of finishes, not
<v Speaker 2>just in big matches, but in just kind of regular matches. Now,
<v Speaker 2>this was a big match, but you see kickouts of
<v Speaker 2>finishes even in matches that don't have a whole lot
<v Speaker 2>at stake, and I think it's just a it's a
<v Speaker 2>problem because it diminishes what finishes used to mean. You're
<v Speaker 2>re educating the audience to think, yeah, okay, he hit one,
<v Speaker 2>but you're gonna need two or three I shouldn't think that,
<v Speaker 2>but we do because we've been conditioned to believe that,
<v Speaker 2>And now it's gonna take four or five or six.
<v Speaker 2>It's just like, well, how is this any more effective
<v Speaker 2>than any other move you do? You know? So I'd
<v Speaker 2>like them to get back to just one finish ends
<v Speaker 2>the match. Now, not every match does that. There are
<v Speaker 2>plenty of matches on regular programming that do have one
<v Speaker 2>finish and that's it. But more often than not, how
<v Speaker 2>often do you see kickouts of finishes? Just absurd? I mean,
<v Speaker 2>Cody Roads, when's the last time he won a match
<v Speaker 2>with one? Crossroads? He doesn't even trust his own finish
<v Speaker 2>because he he delivers it three times in a row,
<v Speaker 2>which is again one of the worst looking finishes of
<v Speaker 2>all time. He delivers it three times in a row
<v Speaker 2>because he knows that my finish kind of sucks. I
<v Speaker 2>gotta deliver this thing three times, you know? So all right,
<v Speaker 2>how'd I get on this? This match was really fun?
<v Speaker 2>Zaine and Gunther killed it. Zain continues to show you
<v Speaker 2>how good he is, or at least remind you how
<v Speaker 2>good he is. Gunther the same thing. These two. If
<v Speaker 2>they had a multi month long program, I wouldn't cry
<v Speaker 2>about it. Now. They did have their run up to WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 2>which ended in the victory for Sammy z Ain capturing
<v Speaker 2>the Intercontinental title, ending Gunther's six hundred and sixty six
<v Speaker 2>day reign, and then you know that's the story going
<v Speaker 2>into the World title. It's like, oh, okay, he's the
<v Speaker 2>one to beat Gunther for the IC. Why can't he
<v Speaker 2>beat him for the world title? And the answer is
<v Speaker 2>because Gunther is a whole league ahead of Sammy's Ain
<v Speaker 2>right now, not necessarily that he's a better rec wistler.
<v Speaker 2>They're different wrestlers, different styles that mesh very well, but
<v Speaker 2>character wise, presence wise, much more intriguing. For me, Gunther
<v Speaker 2>is much more intriguing than Sammy. We all know what
<v Speaker 2>Sammy is, we all know who he is. He is
<v Speaker 2>forever well he and they tried for a while to
<v Speaker 2>not define him as as an underdog. He will forever
<v Speaker 2>be an underdog. His body type screams underdog. The way
<v Speaker 2>he dresses screams underdog, his scruffiness, the every man look,
<v Speaker 2>all of it. His presence is and is overcompensating of screaming.
<v Speaker 2>In every promo, it all points to I'm an underdog,
<v Speaker 2>and I don't know if he's from the underground anymore.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know where he resides, but he's the underdog
<v Speaker 2>from wherever he wants to reside from, so he it's
<v Speaker 2>not a bad place to be, but it never makes
<v Speaker 2>you the favorite ever. It's just Sammy's again has had
<v Speaker 2>a hell of a career. I think you he may
<v Speaker 2>have peaked in that match with Roman Reigns last year
<v Speaker 2>in Montreal, when he competed for the the undisputed championship
<v Speaker 2>nearly won it, and that was a hell of a
<v Speaker 2>moment for Sammy. We may look back. It's likely we
<v Speaker 2>look back as that, even though in a loss, that
<v Speaker 2>was the peak of his career. And I don't know
<v Speaker 2>if we'll ever have a world title run again. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know. I don't know if sammuyse Ain will reach
<v Speaker 2>that point. I think, as I said at the open
<v Speaker 2>of this show, that we have Gunther being defined as
<v Speaker 2>a category above Sammy's Ain, and Sammy's Ain has been
<v Speaker 2>defined back down for a while to the upper mid card,
<v Speaker 2>where he will sit in lying in wait. Maybe he'll
<v Speaker 2>also disappear from Raw for several weeks unless he competes
<v Speaker 2>a crown jewel. We'll see, maybe he'll compete for the
<v Speaker 2>IC title, but if he doesn't kind of multi man match,
<v Speaker 2>then he's probably gonna go into hiding until he's needed
<v Speaker 2>to return for the inevitable Bloodline versus Bloodline match, siding
<v Speaker 2>with Roman and a freshly united Jimmy j and Paul Hayman.
<v Speaker 2>So that's probably the next big thing for Sammy's Ain,
<v Speaker 2>which will get a big reaction and it's fun. It'll
<v Speaker 2>be fun to see Samy's Ain back in that role.
<v Speaker 2>But this was very much a stamp on Sammy's Ain's
<v Speaker 2>career currently that we have no plans to make him
<v Speaker 2>champion right now. And he's a hell of a hand,
<v Speaker 2>hell of a piece of the puzzle from on an
<v Speaker 2>et raw. He's a very fun babyface, you know when
<v Speaker 2>it comes to his music. He's likable to some degree. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>but it's just you have his short falls. Yeah, he does,
<v Speaker 2>just like everybody does. So that's my analysis, my psychoanalysis
<v Speaker 2>of Sammy's Ain. But overall, fun match, good quality main event,
<v Speaker 2>and I thought it was just it was a good show,
<v Speaker 2>didn't blow the doors off anything, gave you teases for
<v Speaker 2>what's upcoming, specifically with Punk and Rollins. That is probably
<v Speaker 2>slated for WrestleMania forty one. It should be at least
<v Speaker 2>they'll finally get to it. If Punk doesn't get injured again,
<v Speaker 2>keep him out of the rumble maybe, and we have
<v Speaker 2>a fun, a fun season ahead of us. We just
<v Speaker 2>got to get through Crown Jewel. I mean, Crown Jewel
<v Speaker 2>is really where we got to get out of and
<v Speaker 2>get through that championship and all the pomp and circumstances
<v Speaker 2>gonna come with it. And as I mentioned on my
<v Speaker 2>review show for Bad Blood the other day, I said, well,
<v Speaker 2>wait a minute, presumably Gunther's going to win this thing,
<v Speaker 2>does he carry it with him? Please? Don't, please, don't
<v Speaker 2>carry this championship with you like it's supposed to be
<v Speaker 2>unequal footing is the world title, or for that matter,
<v Speaker 2>my godly undisputed title that Cody Rhodes is carrying around.
<v Speaker 2>It has no business there. I think it's all simply
<v Speaker 2>to appease the Saudi government that they have their own
<v Speaker 2>championship that essentially it's the Saudi Arabia Championship because it's
<v Speaker 2>only ever going to be defended in Saudi Arabia. What
<v Speaker 2>are you gonna do carried around for eleven months, defend
<v Speaker 2>it once a year. No, this title goes belongs right
<v Speaker 2>in the garbage, right in the trash. That's where it belongs.
<v Speaker 2>I don't want to hear well, give it a chance. No,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I don't care. There's there's you're creating it
<v Speaker 2>out of whole cloth, thin air. You were just saying, oh,
<v Speaker 2>you know the pay per view, you guys hate and
<v Speaker 2>there's a lot of controversy and blood money, uh, blood
<v Speaker 2>money going around, and all this bad juju going around
<v Speaker 2>with the Saudi government and their treatment of women. Remember that.
<v Speaker 2>Remember that. Well, what we're gonna do, We're gonna continue that.
<v Speaker 2>We're gonna continue that, peely. But what we can also
<v Speaker 2>do is create a champion just for that particular plee.
<v Speaker 2>We're going to create a championship off of that and
<v Speaker 2>call you the Crown Jewel Champion. M boy. That's uh enticing?
<v Speaker 2>Where do I sign?
<v Speaker 1>So?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it belongs straight in a dumpster, right into the
<v Speaker 2>garbage truck, Hit the crusher, bring it to the landfill,
<v Speaker 2>dump it out, and let it rot into infinity. That's
<v Speaker 2>where it should go. However, well that said, I did
<v Speaker 2>mention that I respect what Triple Ah is doing because
<v Speaker 2>they're also trying to make this exhibition match feel important.
<v Speaker 2>What I would say is, why are we even doing
<v Speaker 2>this exhibition match? Why it doesn't need to happen. It
<v Speaker 2>shouldn't just be a part of the schedule. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>how much money is Saudi Arabia throwing at WWE for
<v Speaker 2>them to just create a championship for them and also
<v Speaker 2>have these dream matches that oftentimes we think we wanted
<v Speaker 2>to see but don't, And it's forced that both champions
<v Speaker 2>had to face each other. It's a throwaway event because
<v Speaker 2>you can't really move ahead with the championship storylines on
<v Speaker 2>either program, on either show, Smackdone or Raw, because you
<v Speaker 2>have to force this, you know, this rivalry between Cody
<v Speaker 2>and Gunther. You have to kind of force tension there
<v Speaker 2>that it's like, oh, you guys, uh, look, you have
<v Speaker 2>this match here for the championship that doesn't matter on
<v Speaker 2>a pl that's ultra controversial, with a you know, in
<v Speaker 2>a country that's ultra controversial, that does nothing but spew
<v Speaker 2>propaganda throughout the entire show. With all this how beautiful
<v Speaker 2>Saudi Arabia is and the progress they've made with women
<v Speaker 2>which is a whole bunch of nonsense. All that, and
<v Speaker 2>we're gonna force this rivalry between you two like you
<v Speaker 2>have suddenly an issue with one another, and you know,
<v Speaker 2>just pretend you hate each other for a little while.
<v Speaker 2>It's I'm sorry, yeah, I have a problem with it
<v Speaker 2>if you couldn't tell. So the good thing is it'll
<v Speaker 2>all be over. It'll all be over in a month
<v Speaker 2>and we can move on. And now you can't have
<v Speaker 2>either for the for the next four weeks, though it
<v Speaker 2>does suck because you can't progress anything on Raw or
<v Speaker 2>smack Down with anybody that wants to compete for that championship.
<v Speaker 2>Because the both championships are frozen through Crown Jewel. Likely
<v Speaker 2>neither will be defended until you get to Survivors series
<v Speaker 2>where Punk and GUNTHERER I think are going to take
<v Speaker 2>on one another. Maybe it's Kevin Owens and Kevin Owens
<v Speaker 2>and Cody Rhods, or could be the Rock. We'll see
<v Speaker 2>how how much he's going to insert himself in here,
<v Speaker 2>or if he's going to say hello and I'll see
<v Speaker 2>you again in January. We'll see, But that's probably tentatively
<v Speaker 2>what it is. I heal Kevin Owens now versus Cody
<v Speaker 2>Roads at Survivor Series and see I'm Punk versus gun
<v Speaker 2>Through for the world title on Raw. But you can't
<v Speaker 2>get to those again. We have to freeze, freezing place
<v Speaker 2>for the next four weeks. Can't do anything. It's horrible,
<v Speaker 2>it sucks. And now we're supposed to just be all,
<v Speaker 2>you know, all excited about Cody and Gunther. But what
<v Speaker 2>I was gonna say before I cut myself off, I'm
<v Speaker 2>so rude to myself, is that you know you're gonna
<v Speaker 2>get a great wrestling match from these two. That's the
<v Speaker 2>one thing that you can lean on here is okay,
<v Speaker 2>forced force tension between these two. For all the reasons
<v Speaker 2>I mentioned before, this is not interesting for a lot
<v Speaker 2>of people or frustrating for a lot of people. But
<v Speaker 2>if you want to look at the one big positive,
<v Speaker 2>one big positive is you've got a great wrestling match
<v Speaker 2>on your hands, really fun wrestling match on your hands. Physical,
<v Speaker 2>it's gonna be just a wrestle. I think it could
<v Speaker 2>be a wrestling classic if they get thirty minutes or
<v Speaker 2>nine and say thirty, but twenty twenty three minutes or so,
<v Speaker 2>they could really put on a hell of a match
<v Speaker 2>and maybe even compete for Match of the Year candidate.
<v Speaker 2>We'll see how far that goes. But that's the one
<v Speaker 2>positive here, So all right, I'll pause there, stop there.
<v Speaker 2>I think I've said enough. If I haven't pissed off
<v Speaker 2>enough people, and we will, we'll continue on. Let's see
<v Speaker 2>tomorrow again with the NXTO review after Dark's coming mail
<v Speaker 2>Bags coming this week SmackDown review. I gotta get that
<v Speaker 2>straightened out. I thought I had somebody. I don't. I'll
<v Speaker 2>get that straightened out with someone who wants to. Maybe.
<v Speaker 2>I'm chatting with a couple of people right now and
<v Speaker 2>we'll get that straightened out. So SmackDown will be covered
<v Speaker 2>until the Manda returns at the end of the month
<v Speaker 2>from the UK, so it'll be it'll be a bit
<v Speaker 2>of a bit of a different voice here voices on
<v Speaker 2>the show, but I think that's good. Hear different voices
<v Speaker 2>keeps things fresh. And what I made do to you
<v Speaker 2>know the intro here at the beginning of the show
<v Speaker 2>that you hear in like hundreds of shows. At this point,
<v Speaker 2>I've had that intro for three years now. I may
<v Speaker 2>just do away with an intro all together, or just
<v Speaker 2>get a new intro. I'm not sure yet because I
<v Speaker 2>feel like that needs to be changed. It's been long enough.
<v Speaker 2>That intro is a little too long. Yeah, it's got
<v Speaker 2>Drew mcatyre in it, but I feel like that needs
<v Speaker 2>to be changed. It's been you need to the show
<v Speaker 2>needs a fresh feel. Oh, I think generally, so if
<v Speaker 2>you don't hear the jingle moving forward, it's because I
<v Speaker 2>decided we need to change and maybe I'll pay somebody
<v Speaker 2>to come up with a new one, which is usually
<v Speaker 2>what I do, just kind of hey, here's one hundred bucks,
<v Speaker 2>you know, give me a jingle. You know, we'll see.
<v Speaker 2>But that'll do it for me tonight. Guys, thank you
<v Speaker 2>so much for listening. I'll be back, as I said

<v Speaker 2>Enjoy the rest of your week. And those of you
<v Speaker 2>in Florida, my god, I mean, yeah, please stay safe
<v Speaker 2>the thing. This thing look, I'm up in upstate New
<v Speaker 2>York with the hell do I know about hurricanes? Right?
<v Speaker 2>But this is just looks insane from Tampa South looks
<v Speaker 2>just horrible. And I used to you know, I used
<v Speaker 2>to visit down there somewhat on a somewhat regularly at
<v Speaker 2>least yearly and go to a lot of those bars
<v Speaker 2>on Clearwater Beach and and go, you know, spend a
<v Speaker 2>lot of time there and taking a lot of vacations
<v Speaker 2>there and had at a lot of great memories over
<v Speaker 2>on some I remember some I don't. Down in Tampa
<v Speaker 2>and clear Water and Dunedin and all those areas that
<v Speaker 2>just are you know, we're already reeling from Helene. You
<v Speaker 2>look at some of the damage that's gone on down
<v Speaker 2>there from that and all the destruction there, it's already
<v Speaker 2>gonna take years to prepair that much. Less you bring
<v Speaker 2>in a you bring in a storm surge that is
<v Speaker 2>gonna be twice as bad, you're just gonna get a
<v Speaker 2>blank slate. I mean, there's gonna be nothing left, and
<v Speaker 2>it's just it's horrible. So you know, maybe it won't happen,
<v Speaker 2>but it looks almost like a certainty that it will.
<v Speaker 2>So everyone down there, you know, stay safe and you know,
<v Speaker 2>just to make a decisions. And that's it. All right,
<v Speaker 2>Thanks everybody, take care, I'll talk to you next time.
