<v Speaker 1>Well, come on and everybody in the Non Tender Podcast. <v Speaker 1>We are right on time, our best today. <v Speaker 2>The two of us. I don't see, I can't, I <v Speaker 2>can't cut and clap at the same time. Thank you, <v Speaker 2>whatdy for being here. <v Speaker 1>It is the first episode of December. It is getting <v Speaker 1>cold out there. It was snowing a little last night <v Speaker 1>here in Pennsylvania. <v Speaker 2>Kim and I went to. <v Speaker 1>The Christmas Village Christmas Village in Love Park here in <v Speaker 1>Philly yesterday. It was a pain in the ass to <v Speaker 1>get there. There was a lot of traffic, but it <v Speaker 1>was a lot of fun. We got hot chocolate and <v Speaker 1>uh a cheat you I finally got I've been trying <v Speaker 1>to get it. <v Speaker 2>Tell me cheese. Will you know when they get. <v Speaker 1>The cheese will and they like boil the cheese and <v Speaker 1>then they scrape it off onto. <v Speaker 2>Gim me that just put it just directly in my mouth, <v Speaker 2>just directly in my mouth. Yeah, you only want right now, <v Speaker 2>right in my mouth? Please. I got. <v Speaker 1>We got the pesto and the little sundry tomatoes on there. Yeah, dude, Oh, <v Speaker 1>I was so good. It was a lot of fun. <v Speaker 1>Hi Ham, Hello, Hi, it's me. Hello everybody, I'm back. <v Speaker 1>Welcome back. It's just Ham and I today, which is <v Speaker 1>actually kind of nice that we can just get to <v Speaker 1>some topics and talk about you know, just get just <v Speaker 1>get to the point. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, for sure, you know what I mean. <v Speaker 1>Like, I loved having list here, but man, talk about <v Speaker 1>blab blab blabs. <v Speaker 2>It's time for the boys, you know, this time for <v Speaker 2>the boys. <v Speaker 1>No, last week's episode was so much fun. Uh. We <v Speaker 1>pre recorded it a day after last week's episode. It <v Speaker 1>was the Friends Giving episode, the inaugural. We've done three <v Speaker 1>of them now, uh, Liz, Uh. I guess you could <v Speaker 1>say filling in for Bob, but let me tell you, <v Speaker 1>fill it in and and fold in and much more <v Speaker 1>than Okay, this is awesome. Man. <v Speaker 2>I wish live Lis Liz live. <v Speaker 1>Sorry we had to. We had to live Analyst at Thanksgiving. <v Speaker 1>I wish Liz lived, Clo. That's why I was getting confused. <v Speaker 2>I was wrong, Liverse. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I wish you did. But man, it'd be great <v Speaker 1>to have List more. I was also talking to Jordan <v Speaker 1>because Jordan's him and I have been friends for a <v Speaker 1>long time and really get each other's humor. And we've <v Speaker 1>been friends for like ten eleven years at this point. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>and he's in Maryland, but it's like three hours away. <v Speaker 1>It's like, just too fu. I wish you lived just <v Speaker 1>a little bit closer. It's we're so close to having <v Speaker 1>such a great crew other than you and me. <v Speaker 2>I gotta say, I'm very grateful, by the way for <v Speaker 2>you introducing me to Jordan, because him and I are <v Speaker 2>like best friends. That I did that, Yeah you did. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>we get on so well. You two are very similar, <v Speaker 2>ar Jordan and I cannot You can't put us in <v Speaker 2>the same room. Yeah, like we're genuinely there. <v Speaker 1>Well, you can't really put Jordan in the same room <v Speaker 1>with anybody. <v Speaker 2>I guess that's true. Let me have this, let me <v Speaker 2>feel na. Yeah, no, no, no. <v Speaker 1>You two together as a special kind of chaos for sure, definitely. <v Speaker 1>But Jordan he brings out the best of everybody. He's <v Speaker 1>just very funny. Yeah, we have so many inside jokes <v Speaker 1>because we used to We used to run like convention <v Speaker 1>circuits together and go on road trips back when we <v Speaker 1>were more in the retro gaming scene, and we spent <v Speaker 1>so many nights in hotels together. And I'm talking like <v Speaker 1>eight years ago. We were sleeping in hotels together. Good times, <v Speaker 1>good times. <v Speaker 2>You guys said, it's been a decade that you guys <v Speaker 2>have known each other. I think it's more than Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I think it's because I I it would have been <v Speaker 1>right about when I left Australia, which is at this <v Speaker 1>point has been I think ten years right. So yeah, <v Speaker 1>that was a lot of fun. Thank you everybody to <v Speaker 1>watched the episode. <v Speaker 2>I had a great time. It was so much whole weekend. <v Speaker 2>Everything was fantastic. <v Speaker 1>That was the best Friends Giving yet. The Friends Giving <v Speaker 1>actual day was a day after we shot that episode. <v Speaker 1>And I gotta tell you, I really feel like Kim <v Speaker 1>and I nailed the hosting this year. <v Speaker 2>You guys did such a great job. <v Speaker 1>I thank you so much you did. We had like <v Speaker 1>fourteen fifteen people. Kim and Kim cooked everything, but she <v Speaker 1>had a lot of help from Liss as well as <v Speaker 1>Kayler and Matt, who Kayler and Matt. Kayler Matt the best. <v Speaker 1>They are the best man. They help her out so much. <v Speaker 2>Every year. It's honestly, got four foot charcouterie board. <v Speaker 1>Dude. He brought his giant charcuterie board and we filled <v Speaker 1>it full of meat and cheese. <v Speaker 2>Honestly every year. <v Speaker 1>This year I joked about it, but it's more me, Kim, Matt, <v Speaker 1>and Kaylor are putting on a friends giving with how <v Speaker 1>much they help, but Liz helped a lot. <v Speaker 2>And then yeah, we ate. <v Speaker 1>I had a hot chocolate station that I put together <v Speaker 1>for everybody. <v Speaker 2>I would I had one. I had one. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, didn't get as much love as I was hoping. <v Speaker 1>We had two full jugs of hot chocolate left. <v Speaker 2>I'll tell you what though, when I saw you bring <v Speaker 2>out the percolator, the giant thing, yeah, and I was like, <v Speaker 2>I was like, oh man, they're gonna make like bolt <v Speaker 2>coffee right now, because I could go for three cups <v Speaker 2>after all that trip to Fan. But no, it was <v Speaker 2>hot chocolate, which just put me. <v Speaker 1>Well, to be fair, there's like, there's me making hot <v Speaker 1>chocolate in one side of the kitchen and Bob was <v Speaker 1>pouring shots and making coffee for everybody on the other side, <v Speaker 1>which is a three year running tradition. <v Speaker 2>Now's coffee. <v Speaker 1>He becomes Bob's big bean in my kitchen. He just <v Speaker 1>stands there for an hour making coffee for people. And <v Speaker 1>then he got home and he messaged me and he's like, <v Speaker 1>I realized two things. One, I never asked you if <v Speaker 1>you wanted coffee which is fine. I didn't want to <v Speaker 1>make him make another one and two. He said, I <v Speaker 1>never even went down to the basement. Really yeah, he <v Speaker 1>never never made it down. He spent the whole time <v Speaker 1>up there, and it was so much I've been three <v Speaker 1>D printing down here. I have so many like I've <v Speaker 1>made mounts for my consoles and my play buttons. I <v Speaker 1>was so excited to show him my three D printing <v Speaker 1>adventures and he never got to see it. <v Speaker 2>Has he never seen the Nintendo display thing too? I <v Speaker 2>don't think. <v Speaker 1>I don't think he's seen the well, he hasn't seen <v Speaker 1>the basement in a year, so no, I don't think. <v Speaker 1>I don't think so he hasn't seen any of this. <v Speaker 2>Damn. Yeah, that's fine. He'll come back. He'll come back. <v Speaker 1>He was talking about next year. He think I've got <v Speaker 1>him on lock. <v Speaker 2>Very excited. You got you got Bob Wolf for his friends? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? I did, dude, And I was awesome. I appreciate <v Speaker 1>everybody that came. It was so much fun. Honestly, my heart, <v Speaker 1>and this sounds so weird to say, but my heart <v Speaker 1>was so full. I remember there was just a moment <v Speaker 1>where I took it. I stepped away to pee, and <v Speaker 1>I was peeing in my bathroom obviously hopefully you would hope. <v Speaker 1>And I was just thinking to myself, Man, we are <v Speaker 1>here in this nice house with all of our friends, <v Speaker 1>like fourteen fifteen people that came from all different states <v Speaker 1>to come and like hanging out. Everyone's having a great time, <v Speaker 1>everyone's laughing, everyone's getting along. Like it's funny too, because <v Speaker 1>list it was her first year and it was like she'd. <v Speaker 2>Been everybody instantly part of the crew. Yeah, it was <v Speaker 2>so funny. <v Speaker 1>She was playing jack box and she was screaming at everybody. <v Speaker 2>She was was so good. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, I was just thinking, like, man, how far <v Speaker 1>Kim and I have come in the last like even <v Speaker 1>three years. But from where we started and then where <v Speaker 1>I started from all those years ago, I couldn't ask <v Speaker 1>for a better position to be in, just like a <v Speaker 1>better spot in life. All this while I was taking <v Speaker 1>a piss and also like appreciating the moment in like <v Speaker 1>if this never happens again, like if whatever reason, no <v Speaker 1>one comes next year, just just being in the moment <v Speaker 1>now and appreciating that moment. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I wouldn't miss it for the world. <v Speaker 1>Next year, Oh my god, thank you so much. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>no way, but friends Giving is really fun. Would you <v Speaker 1>say you cried during this piss. <v Speaker 2>No, I didn't cry. It wasn't it. <v Speaker 1>It wasn't a piss cry and leaking out of multiple Honestly, <v Speaker 1>there wasn't even on the friends Giving episode. There wasn't <v Speaker 1>really many tears. <v Speaker 2>I uh no, because we just got all we do <v Speaker 2>is get mad and talk about Thanksgiving foods. <v Speaker 1>Well, after the year before, I kind of just wanted <v Speaker 1>to have fun. I didn't want to I didn't want <v Speaker 1>to get too far into like what's everyone thankful for? <v Speaker 2>And let's let's have like a tear joker moment. <v Speaker 1>I figured, if anything, we can save it maybe for <v Speaker 1>like the last episode of this year. <v Speaker 2>But even then, I loved your little teaser by the way, <v Speaker 2>where you were like, raise your hand if you think <v Speaker 2>I should end the podcast, and then you just cut <v Speaker 2>to like a totally off topic us raising our hand. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. So I edited the podcast myself, and by the way, <v Speaker 1>it was a lot of fun to edit it. I <v Speaker 1>haven't we haven't put out a pre recorded episode in <v Speaker 1>a while, and I really enjoyed putting the intro music <v Speaker 1>in and and doing it the old way. It's actually <v Speaker 1>made me like I was looking at it, like, man, <v Speaker 1>I do love the lives that we do, and doing <v Speaker 1>all of this live is great and we don't have <v Speaker 1>to edit it. But there was something special about editing <v Speaker 1>an episode and being able to put in gags and <v Speaker 1>also cut things out. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it adds more to the creative process able to <v Speaker 2>edit it. <v Speaker 1>Because I definitely cut out some awkward moments too, and <v Speaker 1>it made the whole thing flow more. But there's a <v Speaker 1>moment at the start where I say, raise your hand <v Speaker 1>if I should quit, and nobody did. But then, of <v Speaker 1>course not while I was editing, I realized there was <v Speaker 1>another moment later where I said raise your hand if <v Speaker 1>you love deviled eggs, and everyone put their hand up, <v Speaker 1>And in my brain, I was like, all right, raise <v Speaker 1>your hand if I should quit. Everybody put their hand up, <v Speaker 1>and then I shared that to Twitter. It's actually the <v Speaker 1>final thing of the episode. <v Speaker 2>Two. I put it in the episode at the end. <v Speaker 2>All right, sorry about all that. We're here, sorry about <v Speaker 2>all that. Yeah, and I'm here with him. <v Speaker 1>Kim. <v Speaker 2>Kim had to work today, so she's not with us. <v Speaker 1>But we got me and Ham and we got a <v Speaker 1>ton of stuff to find a ton well, actually we <v Speaker 1>got more than I thought when we're going live. <v Speaker 2>I was like, we got nothing. <v Speaker 1>We did say we had nothing to and then I <v Speaker 1>looked at our discord where you and Max and I <v Speaker 1>share some things, and I was like, oh, no, like <v Speaker 1>there was some things because we haven't gone live in <v Speaker 1>like two weeks. Yeah, and we've been sharing stuff in <v Speaker 1>there for two weeks. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. The allusion to the crowd is that we've been live. <v Speaker 1>We were live last week, but even if we were <v Speaker 1>live last week, we didn't talk about anything. <v Speaker 2>That's true. Yeah, all right, I want to get through <v Speaker 2>some things at the start. Do you have a voicemail? <v Speaker 2>I do not, but only disgruntled. I don't want to <v Speaker 2>hear that again. Yeah. No, I want to say a <v Speaker 2>couple of things. <v Speaker 1>One no sponsor today, So I just want to give <v Speaker 1>a quick shout out to the Patreons, who I love. <v Speaker 1>I love, love love. I do this for Patreons. They <v Speaker 1>get a bonus episode every week. It's the one thing <v Speaker 1>that they've got every week, without question, right, there's other <v Speaker 1>rewards that maybe I need help. <v Speaker 2>I need help. I need help. <v Speaker 1>I was actually talking to Scoot about helping with the <v Speaker 1>Patreon because I need help. I can't manage everything. I <v Speaker 1>just keep forgetting but if you want to, if you <v Speaker 1>want to, we'll talk about it. <v Speaker 2>We can talk about it. <v Speaker 1>There needs to be like a restructuring through the break <v Speaker 1>now that we've like solidified the new schedule, because like <v Speaker 1>there was like behind the scenes vlogs we were doing. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but like we're gonna do vlog are set up <v Speaker 2>every week. It's a bit much. <v Speaker 1>It was okay, it was fun when we were in <v Speaker 1>the studio and there was guests and then someone could <v Speaker 1>help anyway. Anyway, Anyway, Patreon they support so much. And <v Speaker 1>then the other thing is gamers Ups. I never talk <v Speaker 1>about that much here, but you can actually go to <v Speaker 1>gamers ups use code Nintendo to get ten percent of <v Speaker 1>not just beat them ups. But I will say it's <v Speaker 1>the same thing. It helps me either way beat them <v Speaker 1>ups or not. And right now, if you use beat <v Speaker 1>them Ups free on the free samples, you get free <v Speaker 1>samples and free shipping worldwide. <v Speaker 2>So there's a titty milk. Yeah, there's a titty milk <v Speaker 2>on the floor. <v Speaker 1>So if you want to try gamers ups, just add <v Speaker 1>the free samples to your cart. Usually they charge you shipping, <v Speaker 1>but if you use code beat them ups, free free <v Speaker 1>shipping Baby World. <v Speaker 2>Why it's limited, by the way, I'm pretty sure they limit. <v Speaker 2>They only do that for like a few weeks at <v Speaker 2>a time for certain creators. It's limited. <v Speaker 1>And I'll tell you as of right now, two thousand <v Speaker 1>people have redeemed that in the last holidays. Yeah, because <v Speaker 1>I put it in my my Christmas Buying Guide video. <v Speaker 1>And I'm not sure how much more they're going to <v Speaker 1>because two thousands a lot for them to have to <v Speaker 1>ship out it is. But if you haven't done it yet, <v Speaker 1>I'd do it quick. It's literally it's four free drinks. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>ship straight to your door. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, why not either shot. I love gamer subs too. Also, <v Speaker 2>by the way, Uh, if you we don't have a <v Speaker 2>voicemail this week, but if you'd like to send us <v Speaker 2>a voicemail and you want to have your voice heard <v Speaker 2>on this podcast, ask us any question that you want, <v Speaker 2>whether it be about our personal lives, whether it be <v Speaker 2>about gaming, whether it be about Nintendo, whatever it is <v Speaker 2>that you guys want to do. The phone numbers on <v Speaker 2>the screen right now, it's nine two nine, three, two <v Speaker 2>four seven three one one, and that is Wood's actual <v Speaker 2>personal phone number. It is. You can also send a <v Speaker 2>text message to that number if you want. Yeah, maybe, yeah, <v Speaker 2>just be you know, but be nice, be nice, be <v Speaker 2>nice to me. Yeah, no slurs, no yet, none of those. <v Speaker 2>We've we've heard, we've heard those. <v Speaker 1>So a couple of quick things off the top. I <v Speaker 1>want to say thank you everybody for supporting the show <v Speaker 1>the last year. I'll talk more about this end of <v Speaker 1>the year, but we passed ninety thousand subs recently. We <v Speaker 1>were stuck just to under ninety for a long time. <v Speaker 2>So I can't. I can't with this. He don't every time. No, <v Speaker 2>it's my it's my you know, I'll take the blame. <v Speaker 2>It's my fault because I wanted to test the audio <v Speaker 2>for making a discord phone. No, I messaged him. Oh <v Speaker 2>that's fine then, so you're just trying to call you <v Speaker 2>back that he should know that we're live though. <v Speaker 1>Also, Scoot fluent from California, and so did Liz and <v Speaker 1>I love him so much. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Well, I just wanted to say thank you so much <v Speaker 1>because it's nice to it's nice to see growth of <v Speaker 1>any kind. The fact that we've gone up to ninety <v Speaker 1>thousand is really reassuring and really motivating for me. And <v Speaker 1>I'll say this, and I know it's going to take <v Speaker 1>a long time, but I am determined to do this <v Speaker 1>show until we hit one hundred thousand because I have <v Speaker 1>started several projects over the years outside of my main channel. <v Speaker 1>None have ever gotten another play button. I've never hit <v Speaker 1>one hundred thousand on another project. My Woodhawker channel got <v Speaker 1>like seventy thousand subs. Reactum Ups is new. What's Reaction <v Speaker 1>Ups at now it's like twenty thousand or something. <v Speaker 2>That's still pretty fucking good. It's good for a new channel. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, my goal is to have the podcast, which <v Speaker 1>to be fair, is my most official other than my <v Speaker 1>main channel for sure channel get a play button, and <v Speaker 1>I want to put it right next to those other <v Speaker 1>two play buttons, and I'm determined to do it. <v Speaker 2>I want it. I wanted to have it. <v Speaker 1>Nintendo podcast play button. I need, we need, we need <v Speaker 1>ten thousand more subs. <v Speaker 2>We do so we I think, are your friends, tell <v Speaker 2>three your friends, and tell all three of those friends <v Speaker 2>to tell three friends. <v Speaker 1>And speaking of people listening to the show, the last <v Speaker 1>thing I wanted to do is everybody is starting to <v Speaker 1>get their end of year Spotify wrap ups, So if <v Speaker 1>you wouldn't mind we have over here from Twitter user <v Speaker 1>ash We're in their top five. <v Speaker 2>Now we are. We are the bottom of the top five. <v Speaker 2>I didn't even think about the fact that the podcast <v Speaker 2>would be on people's Spotify rap do they? Is that <v Speaker 2>like a separate section? <v Speaker 1>Separate Okay, yeah, so I've been I've been getting a <v Speaker 1>lot of these. I quickly threw a few in here <v Speaker 1>before we went live. If you have your Spotify wrapped <v Speaker 1>and you want to send them into the show, throw <v Speaker 1>them into the discord. I'm pretty sure there should be <v Speaker 1>a channel in the Nintendo discord. <v Speaker 2>Why don't we don't? Why don't we put all the <v Speaker 2>names in for the people who have us in their <v Speaker 2>in their wrapped right, all the people who have our <v Speaker 2>have us in their wraps. We'll put their names into <v Speaker 2>like a bin, right, and we pick a name out <v Speaker 2>and we say, okay, give away for these people. What <v Speaker 2>do you want to give them? I don't know, it's <v Speaker 2>that that's up to you. Dog you give them, I'll <v Speaker 2>give them. These are the support. These are listeners, longtime listeners. <v Speaker 1>Right, fifty fifty shops fifty shop Okay, I'll give you <v Speaker 1>fifty shot bucks. Let's should should we keep it concise <v Speaker 1>or should we just in the discord? I was gonna say, <v Speaker 1>tweet them as well or blue sky? <v Speaker 2>Uh, we could, I don't I want I don't want <v Speaker 2>to limit people to Twitter because a lot of people <v Speaker 2>are leaving Twitter. <v Speaker 1>So let's say, so you can show them in the discord, <v Speaker 1>you can tweet them at us, or you can blue <v Speaker 1>sky them at us. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Any more than that, it's gonna be hard to together. <v Speaker 1>We'll compile them and we'll. <v Speaker 2>Do that if we're in. <v Speaker 1>If you're in your top Spotify wrapped and then neck <v Speaker 1>by next week, we'll do a gilay. <v Speaker 2>If you send them over today, I'll sign. Is that <v Speaker 2>too much a poster of what? I don't know? Just <v Speaker 2>something the Luigi content? No, that's mine. If you did <v Speaker 2>something like that, we'll think about it. We'll think about it. <v Speaker 2>We'll take it out. Fifty bucks is easy. Money is easy. <v Speaker 1>Ah. Then we have this is from skits. They had <v Speaker 1>They had me, they had Beat them Ups. I was <v Speaker 1>in the top zero point three percent of Beat Them <v Speaker 1>Ups fans. I watched fifteen times as much as the <v Speaker 1>average viewer. Please send me those two. <v Speaker 2>I didn't even know. <v Speaker 1>I've never seen my main channel featured that way. It's <v Speaker 1>usually only the podcast I get these years in wrap ups. <v Speaker 2>I feel that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, thanks so much. And then here's one last one <v Speaker 1>over on Blue Sky. We were third on this one. <v Speaker 1>I'm not sure what region this is. They do their <v Speaker 1>numbers weird, like three degrees. <v Speaker 2>Yeah wait, what was it say? I'm pretty sure that <v Speaker 2>you know well, Espan. Thank you. <v Speaker 1>I appreciate it so much. Yeah, thank you everybody. You <v Speaker 1>can cut away from that, yes, Sam. <v Speaker 2>Thank you. Yeah. Oh no, that's so embarrassing. Sorry, what <v Speaker 2>did you do? I showed my lower third? Oh god, <v Speaker 2>I got, I got. I have my Spotify for Artists <v Speaker 2>wrapped too for me, so yeah, I have that as well. <v Speaker 1>I was thinking I wanted this episode to do all <v Speaker 1>the year in reviews the Nintendo PlayStation, Xbox, but they <v Speaker 1>don't come out until this week, so I was thinking <v Speaker 1>we could just save all of it Spotify all of it. <v Speaker 1>We'll do a year in review next week. So I <v Speaker 1>want to see your Spotify Year in Review. <v Speaker 2>No, No, I'm talking about my Spotify for Artists rapped. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I'm not talking about my Yeah, yeah, I want to <v Speaker 2>see it all. What do you mean, like like I'm <v Speaker 2>talking English? Okay, my Spotify Rap, by the way, is <v Speaker 2>completely useless, like because I haven't even looked at it. <v Speaker 2>I won't look at it because I put like stream <v Speaker 2>playlists on for my stream. It's just background music most <v Speaker 2>of the times. <v Speaker 1>That's fine. So I will see mine, then we'll do mine. Well, <v Speaker 1>do yours because I listen to Spotify every day. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, some of mine is chalked because I put on <v Speaker 1>low fi playlist too when I edit, But for the <v Speaker 1>most part, all of mine is actual. <v Speaker 2>I'm still not sure if you understand what I say <v Speaker 2>about Spotify for artists, right, I'm talking about like this, <v Speaker 2>like like me as an artist I am. I am <v Speaker 2>a rapper, and it shows how many people listen to <v Speaker 2>see it. I want to see it. Yeah, it's exciting. <v Speaker 2>I don't have that. It's very cool. I just have <v Speaker 2>like you know, you should have one, though, but if <v Speaker 2>you have, if you own the podcast, you should have <v Speaker 2>a I don't. I don't know how to ask. I <v Speaker 2>don't know how that works. <v Speaker 1>Figured out last little bit of fun news before we <v Speaker 1>start looking at these switch leaks. When I was sharing <v Speaker 1>the podcast out to Twitter, I saw this in my <v Speaker 1>mentions spotted on Facebook. Guy obviously didn't watch the video <v Speaker 1>at beat him ups would So this is from Nintendo's <v Speaker 1>over thirty club. <v Speaker 2>I don't know what that is. <v Speaker 1>They shared a screenshot of my MiG switch. <v Speaker 2>Video and this guy. <v Speaker 1>Dude, listen, the caption is from an anonymous member. Emergency <v Speaker 1>in full caps. Please report this guy's page. Come on, <v Speaker 1>he's teaching people about the MiG switch that lets you <v Speaker 1>play copies of Nintendo's license games. <v Speaker 2>It's not right. <v Speaker 1>I contacted my local authorities, but but they are lazy <v Speaker 1>and won't deal with him. <v Speaker 2>Oh I don't. I can't imagine why the police deal <v Speaker 2>with me. Is this is a special kind of person. <v Speaker 2>This is ridiculous. This person might need to call up <v Speaker 2>no way. <v Speaker 1>They might need to call up that arrans in check <v Speaker 1>if they were if they were dropped as a child. <v Speaker 2>I don't understand. <v Speaker 1>Dude, Come on, man sponsors for his videos and isn't <v Speaker 1>a true Nintendo fan. I don't, I don't, I don't, <v Speaker 1>I honestly don't know. I I love the idea that <v Speaker 1>someone is calling the local authorities on me because I <v Speaker 1>made a video about the MiG switch. That's crazy. That <v Speaker 1>was That was a that was a highlight of my morning. <v Speaker 2>People got a lot of time on their hands. I <v Speaker 2>don't even know, like what the cops would do when <v Speaker 2>they showed up. I don't know, like why would they <v Speaker 2>care for one? My my, my suggestion to this guy <v Speaker 2>or girl a person? Right, well, well there's okay, there's that. Okay, <v Speaker 2>but also consider contacting your congressman. You know, that's a maybe. <v Speaker 1>That'll instead of contacting Nintendo directly. <v Speaker 2>That's true. Yeah, actually, let's not there. <v Speaker 1>It's at this point. It's fine if they haven't done <v Speaker 1>anything at this point, they don't. <v Speaker 2>That's true. Yeah, I mean you're on Nintendo's radar, So. <v Speaker 1>The Nintendo knew the second that went up, right, right, right? <v Speaker 2>Right? Yeah? All right, that's that. I thought that was funny. <v Speaker 2>Well what it is. Okay, let's take a look at <v Speaker 2>we have a few leaks here. <v Speaker 1>A lot of people. Most people would have seen that <v Speaker 1>these joy Cons got leaked again. So we took a <v Speaker 1>look about a month or two ago at this three <v Speaker 1>D mock up thing that leaked from a Chinese warehouse <v Speaker 1>that was supposedly the new joy Cons. Then we took <v Speaker 1>a look at somebody had three D printed these A <v Speaker 1>girl over in China, I believe three D printed them, <v Speaker 1>and you could do like a comparison from the switch <v Speaker 1>and the size and all of that. But before that <v Speaker 1>it was just an image and this girl's three D print. <v Speaker 1>Now there's new video leaked from I believe the same <v Speaker 1>Chinese warehouse of the actual at least early prototype physical <v Speaker 1>joy cons. Now these leaked a day or two would <v Speaker 1>go At this point, I messaged, you can cut. I <v Speaker 1>message my friend's spawned because he's just the most rational <v Speaker 1>person I know. That's usually my go to for stuff <v Speaker 1>like this, and I just asked, hey, do we think <v Speaker 1>this is real? And he said it's so boring and <v Speaker 1>uneventful that most likely he thinks it's real. Yeah, that's <v Speaker 1>why his thoughts are I don't. <v Speaker 2>Get still, can we get a close up on us? <v Speaker 2>I am still not one hundred percent on it, because like, <v Speaker 2>they don't look like they're slidy. <v Speaker 1>They look like they may be uh oh, there's video <v Speaker 1>of them being magnetic. <v Speaker 2>That's what I was gonna say, They're gonna be magnetic. <v Speaker 1>But I'm cut away for a second because I don't <v Speaker 1>think I put that video in here, and I wanted <v Speaker 1>to show that video. It might be in the discord. <v Speaker 1>Where's the discord? <v Speaker 2>Is it down here? So I just yeah, well I <v Speaker 2>would four fingerswipe up. He's not what's on my MacBook today. <v Speaker 2>He doesn't know how to use him. He's on a Mac. <v Speaker 2>So but other we're not gonna shame me. I'm gonna, <v Speaker 2>you know, I'll mac shaming you a little bit. <v Speaker 1>I actually I need to borrow your mac after this. <v Speaker 1>If I plug my phone into this, can I take <v Speaker 1>my videos and photos off? <v Speaker 2>Or does it? Is it like a count? Yeah? Well <v Speaker 2>maybe you could also just do that with your computer. No, <v Speaker 2>I can't don't, can't know. There's like an application. I know, <v Speaker 2>I don't want to do that. We could probably do that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, So here's a little video here from Adrian edited <v Speaker 1>by me since the original is five minutes long. We <v Speaker 1>can also see the men detaching the joy cons. So <v Speaker 1>this is a little bit leans into me thinking this <v Speaker 1>is fake. <v Speaker 2>Also, can I say, can I say this is some <v Speaker 2>alien thing? <v Speaker 1>This is some alien bullshit? This is some every time <v Speaker 1>someone spots an alien in the wild, why is it <v Speaker 1>always with a Nokia two megapixel camera? Why do we <v Speaker 1>have no high definition photos in twenty twenty four of <v Speaker 1>alien sidings? It's always like Andy cams from the nineties. <v Speaker 1>Every time we get a leaked picture from these Chinese studio, <v Speaker 1>these Chinese warehouses and joy cons. <v Speaker 2>With the switch to do they not have iPhones? I'm <v Speaker 2>willing to bet you that these are screenshots from a video, <v Speaker 2>right yeah, but. <v Speaker 1>Even still, like, what were they screenshotting on a potato? <v Speaker 2>Why? <v Speaker 1>I'm just saying, why is every leaked image we get <v Speaker 1>the equivalent of an alien siding in Nebraska, Nebraska, Arizona. <v Speaker 2>Arizona, somewhere in the middle of America. Where's the area <v Speaker 2>fifty one? That's a weep New Mexico. Wait roswell Oswell, yeah, <v Speaker 2>thank you, that's the one. <v Speaker 1>Why is it always it's so blurry? And again we <v Speaker 1>have here the So this is another reason why I <v Speaker 1>think this is fake. You can see it disconnecting here <v Speaker 1>the magnetic Why is it behind a blur? <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Why is it behind a blur unless you're trying to <v Speaker 1>hide something? <v Speaker 2>Well are they not? Like, yeah, this doesn't make any sense. No, <v Speaker 2>I know, it's so ridiculous. It's like Pepe Sylvia. That <v Speaker 2>was the whole video, that was it? <v Speaker 1>No, we can keep watching on the board with like <v Speaker 1>the red strings though, like I just feel like if <v Speaker 1>it was real, it wouldn't be so blurry in every <v Speaker 1>image that you see. Yeah, this video is mostly just <v Speaker 1>screenshots though, and people and highlighting certain parts of these <v Speaker 1>joy cons. So spawn saying that so boring, maybe they <v Speaker 1>are real. I feel like it's like so boring that <v Speaker 1>it's easy to fake. Yeah, it's it's so boring that <v Speaker 1>it's like also they're so thick. <v Speaker 2>But you understand what you're saying though, right now, right, <v Speaker 2>you understand what So what you've said is that it's <v Speaker 2>so easy to fake. Therefore, what we we could, we <v Speaker 2>could we could we could make we could come have <v Speaker 2>a three D printer. <v Speaker 1>And that's the thing, like if these if these were <v Speaker 1>three D printed, you probably wouldn't be able to tell <v Speaker 1>because it's so blurry. You can't see the quality finish <v Speaker 1>on them. <v Speaker 2>Right, right, Let's just get like a white lab coat, right, yeah, <v Speaker 2>something like that, or like like white coveralls. Pretend like <v Speaker 2>we're in a factory, you know. Just put gloves on. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>just put gloves on. <v Speaker 1>Anyway, if we're gotta believe this is real, just let's <v Speaker 1>just humor it for a second. So again we can <v Speaker 1>see there's an extra capture button. I'm not sure why <v Speaker 1>you'd need to capture buttons. I also think aesthetically it's <v Speaker 1>just kind of ugly to do the same joy cons <v Speaker 1>but then just tack on a capture button somewhere. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>because like the capture and home buttons are aligned, you <v Speaker 1>got one on one side, one on the other side. <v Speaker 1>You're just gonna throw an extra capture button on the bottom. <v Speaker 1>It almost feels like, again, if you're going to fake this, <v Speaker 1>it's such an easy thing to like add into your <v Speaker 1>fake model. You just you just added an extra button <v Speaker 1>where it's not supposed to be and oh, it's a <v Speaker 1>different controller now, right. I don't know, Maybe they are real. <v Speaker 1>And it's funny because when I saw the when I <v Speaker 1>saw the renders the first time, I was like, I <v Speaker 1>was like spawns wave, spawns wave. I was in Spawn's <v Speaker 1>thought wave. I was in his wave of thinking of like, oh, <v Speaker 1>they're so boring. It's like that's exactly what we need. <v Speaker 1>But now that I'm seeing them like physical, it's almost <v Speaker 1>like that's all they did. The same joy CON's a <v Speaker 1>little fatter, but they added a button in an awkward place. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if I believe it anymore. <v Speaker 2>The The only thing that I could think of having <v Speaker 2>another scream capture button is that like, maybe you're playing <v Speaker 2>a game with a joy Con that's not the JOYCN <v Speaker 2>with the scream scream capture got your button, and you're <v Speaker 2>only using one joy Con. Like that's a good point. <v Speaker 1>Actually, I was gonna say, presumably it wouldn't be another <v Speaker 1>capture button. It probably has a different purpose. But maybe <v Speaker 1>that's actually a good point. I guess if you're playing <v Speaker 1>like Mario Party and you only have one control in <v Speaker 1>the controller that you have doesn't have the capture button <v Speaker 1>on it. I just don't know how much Nintendo cares <v Speaker 1>about every player having a capture button at all times, right, Like. <v Speaker 2>What I couldn't tell you. But I think it just <v Speaker 2>gives it more functionality. Like there's unless the switch. <v Speaker 1>To is leaning more into being able to share footage <v Speaker 1>and videos, and they're leaning more into like, yeah, I <v Speaker 1>guess like streaming and sharing content directly from the switch. <v Speaker 1>Maybe they'd want to make sure that a player has <v Speaker 1>a capture button at all times, but I just don't <v Speaker 1>I don't really see it. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Then you have these big, big triggers on the side <v Speaker 1>here which people have theorized it's how you disconnect them, like, <v Speaker 1>but also they're magnetic, so I feel like you disconnect <v Speaker 1>them just by yanking them out. <v Speaker 2>Maybe that's uh, wait, where are we looking? Can you <v Speaker 2>go back to that screenshot? Againe? Here? <v Speaker 1>Here? <v Speaker 2>Wait wait I will, But look he pulls out. <v Speaker 1>If we believe this is real, he demagnetizes this one <v Speaker 1>just by pulling at the bottom. Yeah, so he's not <v Speaker 1>even pressing that trigger. <v Speaker 2>Right, So I have I have a theory if we <v Speaker 2>can so. I don't think that trigger is for the magnet. <v Speaker 2>I think that that trigger is for when you're holding <v Speaker 2>the joy con as a single joy con and it's <v Speaker 2>just a trigger. It's a shoulder trigger for using it <v Speaker 2>as a single joy con. Right, that makes a lot <v Speaker 2>of sense. You don't have to They don't have to <v Speaker 2>because we we won't have if it is a magnetic system. Right, <v Speaker 2>what you're saying, yeah, imagine hold it. Imagine it. <v Speaker 1>So your front index is going to be placed over <v Speaker 1>the old button, and then that's going to be your <v Speaker 1>your middle index is going to be on the trigger. <v Speaker 1>That's giving me a hand cramp even right now. <v Speaker 2>I know, but maybe maybe there's some sort of ergonomics <v Speaker 2>to it that we don't understand by not holding it. <v Speaker 2>But what I'm saying though, is like, if you're whole, <v Speaker 2>if you're using a single joy Con right, then it <v Speaker 2>could just disable the original trigger button, right, the vertical <v Speaker 2>use trigger button. You know what I mean what you're saying, <v Speaker 2>I'm saying, maybe there's another trigger button on the other <v Speaker 2>side too, on the bottom. I'm saying. <v Speaker 1>If you're trying to hold both the right or have <v Speaker 1>a finger on the right bumper and a figure on <v Speaker 1>a trigger at the same time, that's that's you're going <v Speaker 1>to be using a trigger with your middle finger. I <v Speaker 1>think it's just gonna feel a bit weird. <v Speaker 2>Oh, right bump, What do you mean? Well, what do <v Speaker 2>you mean a right bumper? Do you No? I think <v Speaker 2>I'm overthinking it. I think you are. Yeah, I'm thinking. <v Speaker 2>I'm thinking that the joy cons themselves will have actual <v Speaker 2>shoulder buttons this time, right, actual trigger buttons on top <v Speaker 2>of it. Uh, based on what we're seeing here, right, <v Speaker 2>We're talking about two different things, for sure, But but <v Speaker 2>you understand the purpose of what I'm saying though, is <v Speaker 2>I understand I agree with you. I said that they <v Speaker 2>don't have to put the little slide things on them now, <v Speaker 2>you know, Yeah, to get the to get tactile buttons <v Speaker 2>for triggers. <v Speaker 1>Well, I mean they might. I think they'll still have those. <v Speaker 1>I think they'll have a magnetic one that snaps over <v Speaker 1>if you want to get bigger buttons. And also just <v Speaker 1>to make them look nicer when they're detached. Yeah, because <v Speaker 1>another reason they had those slide on things, other than <v Speaker 1>just giving you a better button, is it it rounds <v Speaker 1>off the joy con and for for product photo reasons, <v Speaker 1>you always saw that connected because it gives it that <v Speaker 1>nice like finish, whereas this it looks ugly. It looks <v Speaker 1>like it's supposed to be connected to something. So I think, <v Speaker 1>I think, yeah, I'm not even not Yeah, So. <v Speaker 2>Then well then what do you think that is? Then? <v Speaker 2>What the thing on the right there, that black part <v Speaker 2>on the right, No, I think you're I think you're right. <v Speaker 2>I think that's a trigger. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I think if you turn it to the side, you're <v Speaker 1>gonna have a trigger like to shoot and then a <v Speaker 1>bumper button. Oh so you think there's gonna be two, yeah, <v Speaker 1>like a normal like a normal controller. <v Speaker 2>I think that it's just gonna be the one. Now <v Speaker 2>then they're not going to have the attachment that you <v Speaker 2>need to have now because. <v Speaker 1>It's so no no no, no no no, right, think <v Speaker 1>about it, because now if you turn that to its side, <v Speaker 1>you almost have a full controller and you have both <v Speaker 1>you have both things again, so you can play games <v Speaker 1>with with two again. Fair right, Yeah, I think I <v Speaker 1>think you're I think you were very smart to point <v Speaker 1>that out. I think I think where you're limiting limiting <v Speaker 1>it is by assuming that it's going to deactivate the <v Speaker 1>other button. <v Speaker 2>Do you have a joy Con on you somewhere? I <v Speaker 2>just want to like see what it would feel like. <v Speaker 1>I mean, yeah, maybe, yeah, maybe to have two. I <v Speaker 1>feel like I feel like this joy Con is thicker. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>it's like almost like a thick and a half. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but it's also like you know, it's still a <v Speaker 2>joy Con right, and this is it's uncomfortable to do this. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but they also have like things you can put <v Speaker 1>one joy con in that gives you like a controller <v Speaker 1>feel like little accessories. <v Speaker 2>Fair enough, But I'm like thinking about, right, like if <v Speaker 2>you were to use a joy con right, and like <v Speaker 2>like if I'm holding a joy Con like this, right, yeah, <v Speaker 2>my middle fingers are on the bottom of it so <v Speaker 2>I can actually grip it. I feel like if I <v Speaker 2>have to move my middle fingers to the shoulder buttons, <v Speaker 2>I got nothing to grip this. <v Speaker 1>Well, you know, I don't. Well there, there's already shoulder buttons. <v Speaker 1>People do already play That's how you play smash, right, <v Speaker 1>But what. <v Speaker 2>But I know the shoulder buttons already. But what I'm <v Speaker 2>saying though, is that there's only one shoulder button right like, <v Speaker 2>so it's but my middle fingers are beneath the joy <v Speaker 2>Con to actually support it and hold the thing, you know, <v Speaker 2>So like this right here, the thumb in the middle <v Speaker 2>finger is what grips the actual joy Con. We're getting <v Speaker 2>really into the weeds here. I know it's okay, it's <v Speaker 2>a little bit, but but but that's what I'm saying <v Speaker 2>is I don't I don't believe that there would be <v Speaker 2>two because how would you think it? Just you know, <v Speaker 2>you think you think you could do it. I think <v Speaker 2>I could do it. <v Speaker 1>But also I think there's gonna be an attachment or <v Speaker 1>something that accessory that you can get that. <v Speaker 2>Let's place a bet right now. Okay, I'm gonna say <v Speaker 2>if this is the joy Con, this is the actual <v Speaker 2>choicon right, I'm going to say, only one trigger button <v Speaker 2>on the on a single use JOYCN like a single <v Speaker 2>joy Con, right, and they're just gonna be activate. They're <v Speaker 2>just gonna be They're just gonna be built into it, right, <v Speaker 2>Just single trigger buttons are just gonna be built into it, <v Speaker 2>and they're not gonna have something extra that you have <v Speaker 2>to put on top. There's not going to be like <v Speaker 2>a double trigger. <v Speaker 1>I'm really confused about where we're at here. But if <v Speaker 1>the joy Con looks like this and you turn it <v Speaker 1>to the side, I think you're gonna use both those <v Speaker 1>buttons like normal, and you're gonna have an extra trigger <v Speaker 1>on the side. Looking at that, well, it just gives <v Speaker 1>you one extra button. <v Speaker 2>I guess we'll see. <v Speaker 1>Because in games like Smash, like the Shield and everything, <v Speaker 1>it was like difficult it had just had to move <v Speaker 1>things around. <v Speaker 2>Who's to say, because we don't see, are we able <v Speaker 2>to see if there's a trigger on the right side. <v Speaker 1>No, I don't think there's a trigger on the right side. <v Speaker 1>I think that's too much. I think it's too cumbersome. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I think it's too silly. <v Speaker 2>Even you. <v Speaker 1>I don't know what he's saying or what he's nice, <v Speaker 1>you know. Well, yeah, I mean if we could talk <v Speaker 1>speak Chinese, which I don't. <v Speaker 2>Chad saying what is right? <v Speaker 1>So no, no, no, it's there's no right. We're speculating, <v Speaker 1>there's no right. This is probably fake. <v Speaker 2>This could all be just a waste of time. <v Speaker 1>This could probably be a waste of time. But it's <v Speaker 1>interesting to talk about because I never saw this as <v Speaker 1>a trigger. But what it's reminding me of is the <v Speaker 1>Lenovo Leegiant goal, which I wish I had near here, <v Speaker 1>one of the joy cons, and they are joy cons. <v Speaker 1>They removed like joy cons, you can it into a <v Speaker 1>mouse by taking the joke on off, putting it into <v Speaker 1>a stand, putting it on the on the table, and <v Speaker 1>you can use it. <v Speaker 2>Upright like a mouse and hate that. By the way, <v Speaker 2>I kind of like it. <v Speaker 1>And part of how that works is they moved the <v Speaker 1>shoulder buttons from right at the back to more to <v Speaker 1>the side, so that when you're holding it you can <v Speaker 1>use like the fire buttons. And I think that's a <v Speaker 1>similar thing, where now if you turn it to the side, <v Speaker 1>you have a trigger and you have too. I think <v Speaker 1>that's the idea of that. I definitely don't think it's <v Speaker 1>what people were speculating, and that's how we got on <v Speaker 1>this conversation that it's what you press to remove the <v Speaker 1>joy cons because they're magnetic, you shouldn't have to press <v Speaker 1>a button. And if we're even believing that this is real, <v Speaker 1>and that's the argument we're having, is that this is <v Speaker 1>a real button. You can see in his image here <v Speaker 1>that he yanks it off at the bottom without pressing <v Speaker 1>a button. <v Speaker 2>So and also that's too big. <v Speaker 1>Have you seen the button on a regular switch. It's <v Speaker 1>a little bit. They're not making a huge trip. <v Speaker 2>That's so stupid. Yeah, it seems unnecessary. I don't know <v Speaker 2>where I fall because. <v Speaker 1>On one hand, what else can Nintendo do to different <v Speaker 1>differ in your rate, differentiate thank you these from regular <v Speaker 1>joy cons when they're just going for an improved model <v Speaker 1>of the switch. But on the other hand, I do <v Speaker 1>feel like they would do something a little different than <v Speaker 1>just the same thing and awkwardly placing a capture button <v Speaker 1>where it wasn't before and kind of ruining the esthetics. <v Speaker 1>Like my OCD is kind of bothered by the fact <v Speaker 1>that it doesn't line up anymore with the other joy Con. <v Speaker 1>It's like something's missing on the other side now it <v Speaker 1>kind of bothers me and I don't think that's the <v Speaker 1>final design. <v Speaker 2>By the way, audio listeners and shambles right now from <v Speaker 2>the lack of a visual direction of what we're talking <v Speaker 2>about here. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean yeah, maybe, I mean we are we <v Speaker 1>to do we're talking about anything. <v Speaker 2>There's not much that we could do. I mean, Google, <v Speaker 2>I just figured we should shout out to them, like, hey, guys, <v Speaker 2>shout out to the appreciate listening. Spot drivers were just <v Speaker 2>offered to give fifty dollars to. <v Speaker 1>No. <v Speaker 2>I mean you can. <v Speaker 1>You can. You've probably seen it, to be honest, at <v Speaker 1>this point, we've talked about it weeks ago. But you <v Speaker 1>can just google joy con switch leaks and they'll come <v Speaker 1>up if you want an image for reference while you <v Speaker 1>listen to us ramble, although at this point you'd have <v Speaker 1>to go back and replay it. <v Speaker 2>But yeah, it's also stop your car before you do that, <v Speaker 2>by the way, your car, yea, because they're probably you're <v Speaker 2>I'm assuming that everybody who's listening to a podcast on <v Speaker 2>Spotify is driving. I listened to a lot of podcasts. <v Speaker 2>I'd never drive. You should try it sometime. Sure, I <v Speaker 2>do it when I drive down here, So. <v Speaker 1>I don't know what they're circling down here. It kind <v Speaker 1>of looks like there's an IR reader on this side, <v Speaker 1>which is funny because there's no shot that they're doing <v Speaker 1>an IR reader. <v Speaker 2>Again. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it was supported fourteen times. <v Speaker 2>What was Switch? What was the purpose of the IRA <v Speaker 2>reader to begin with? <v Speaker 1>The purpose was cut to me for this. The purpose <v Speaker 1>of the II Reader was Nintendo wanted the joy Cons <v Speaker 1>to be different and quirky and wacky and have a <v Speaker 1>bunch of things that they could do, and they added <v Speaker 1>a lot of new features. One was the HD Rumble <v Speaker 1>that was pretty unique, where you could feel like balls <v Speaker 1>in your hands depending on like you. <v Speaker 2>Can roll them around. <v Speaker 1>The motion controlers obviously were back motion controlled two electric Boogloo. <v Speaker 1>And then another thing they wanted to add is this <v Speaker 1>IR reader which could tell distance, and it's Nintendo and <v Speaker 1>they probably figured they would use that in some of <v Speaker 1>their games and they would find wacky ways of implementing it. <v Speaker 1>It was just another way of making an immersive experience <v Speaker 1>for playing games. But I mean, ultimately it was dropped <v Speaker 1>very quickly. I think one two Switch used it, and <v Speaker 1>then thirteen games in total ended up using it out <v Speaker 1>of the thousands of games in the Switches library and <v Speaker 1>they were all random. I did a video on it. <v Speaker 2>Switched Sports use it or. <v Speaker 1>No, I don't think so. The Ring Fit used it <v Speaker 1>to check your heart rate. You put your thumb over it. <v Speaker 1>It's actually very interesting because even though there were only <v Speaker 1>thirteen games that used it, every game used it very differently. <v Speaker 2>So yeah, the thumb for the heart rate. <v Speaker 1>Resident Evil Revelations had it where if you get the <v Speaker 1>joy Con and you tap it on your palm, it <v Speaker 1>reloads your gun. <v Speaker 2>In the game. <v Speaker 1>Ninjalla had cards that you could buy that had QR <v Speaker 1>codes on them and you had to use the II <v Speaker 1>Reader to scan the QR codes to unlock things in <v Speaker 1>your game. What I know, it's so wacky. And then <v Speaker 1>there was some shovel Whear games on the E Shop <v Speaker 1>that tried to use it. There was a spy alarm <v Speaker 1>one where you would you ever when you were a kid, <v Speaker 1>did you have one of those spy alarms where you <v Speaker 1>would set it down in a room and if someone <v Speaker 1>walked past it, it would like make a noise. Well, <v Speaker 1>and they made it for Switch, So you put the <v Speaker 1>joy Con down facing where you want a trip, and <v Speaker 1>then if someone walks past it the issue is it <v Speaker 1>sucked because the range is like this, Yeah, and the <v Speaker 1>switch would go to sleep after like two minutes. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I was gonna say, so you're trying to protect your house. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>you better hope they try breaking in immediately after you <v Speaker 1>said it in full asleep. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Oh we're going camping and there's bears. Hold on, <v Speaker 2>I got my switch? <v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah, I don't know manum all right, So that's <v Speaker 1>that's that. <v Speaker 2>Can Are you set up to do a poll? <v Speaker 1>Uh? <v Speaker 2>I just have to do it in chat? Yeah? Yeah, <v Speaker 2>could you do a poll? Are we thinking that these <v Speaker 2>joy cones are real off? Fake? I honestly have no idea. <v Speaker 2>I'm just blowing my nose. <v Speaker 1>Sorry about that. Sorry for the dead egg. Give me <v Speaker 1>a second. Well, oh I got a option, that's why, okay, <v Speaker 1>pulls up the weather. The poll is about to be honest, <v Speaker 1>see what my sinuses eighty is what it is. It's <v Speaker 1>a poll and shot for all our live lovelies. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>let us know what your vibes are on this and <v Speaker 1>if you have any extra info or anything more that <v Speaker 1>you know about. <v Speaker 2>These A lot of people saying fake, that's crazy. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>it's so funny to there's been like multiple leaks of <v Speaker 2>like the same thing though, haven't there. <v Speaker 1>It's so funny because cut back again, and I think <v Speaker 1>also the blurriness of it is adding to this, yeah, <v Speaker 1>this conspiracy theory. It's so funny because when I first <v Speaker 1>saw the renders, I was willing to believe it. I <v Speaker 1>was like, yeah, it's just boring enough, and it's just <v Speaker 1>so not it's so nothing that like why would anybody <v Speaker 1>do that? But as soon as I saw this, with <v Speaker 1>the blurry footage and the chunky joy Cons and the <v Speaker 1>weird spacing of things and the awkwardly placed new button, <v Speaker 1>I almost I flipped instantly to like, I hope not. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I hope not. <v Speaker 1>They're just kind of black and then like the first <v Speaker 1>time we saw them they were in gray, Now they're <v Speaker 1>in white, and it's like we already have white with <v Speaker 1>the O lead. It just feels like more of the same. <v Speaker 1>If it just doesn't feel I don't think it. I <v Speaker 1>don't think the new joy Cons need to look that different, <v Speaker 1>like crazy different, but I think they do have to <v Speaker 1>stand out to create brand separation. And the joy Cons <v Speaker 1>are what make it's funny because you don't really think <v Speaker 1>about this, but the joy Cons are what makes the <v Speaker 1>switch look the way it looks, because the rest of <v Speaker 1>it is just a tablet. It's just a square. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>So the vibe of the console comes down to the <v Speaker 1>joy cons. <v Speaker 2>It's true. And you know, I feel like I've been <v Speaker 2>saying this for a while or been thinking this for <v Speaker 2>a while. At the very least, is it like I <v Speaker 2>think this is going to be the first time, if <v Speaker 2>I'm not mistaken, right, apart from like game Boy to <v Speaker 2>game Boy Color, right where the next iteration of a <v Speaker 2>Nintendo product is basically just kind of like a little <v Speaker 2>bit better version of the one that if its press <v Speaker 2>predecessor of its predecessor. I think it's just going to <v Speaker 2>be a marginally better switch. It's gonna have better you know, <v Speaker 2>internals obviously, and then the joy cons are going to <v Speaker 2>be a bit different. But that's probably gonna be the <v Speaker 2>long and short of it, right in myad. <v Speaker 1>I mean, what we're really hoping for here is is <v Speaker 1>a decent leap in power. What I'm hoping essentially, what <v Speaker 1>I'm hoping for is that anything that steam Deck verified <v Speaker 1>right would be able to play and run on the switch. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>because if it can't do that at the very minimum, <v Speaker 1>it can't compete with the three year old steam Deck. <v Speaker 2>What are we doing? Why? <v Speaker 1>Why are we entering a new handheld into the market <v Speaker 1>that can't that can't compete. I don't think the money <v Speaker 1>is going to be there. Yeah, I think it's going <v Speaker 1>to really set them off on a bad foot if <v Speaker 1>I think it's bare minimum, and I think the minimum <v Speaker 1>will be anything that's steam Deck verified would be able <v Speaker 1>to play on the. <v Speaker 2>Switch too, That's my thereas the thing, right, like you <v Speaker 2>think about form factor, right, like when it comes to <v Speaker 2>every other like home console, form factor either doesn't matter <v Speaker 2>or hasn't changed very much, right Like you think about <v Speaker 2>form factor change from Xbox to three sixty to you know, yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 2>that's true. Control is the same, Control has barely changed. <v Speaker 2>Nothing is really very different, apart from maybe the avent <v Speaker 2>of VR. We don't to reinvent the wheel, right. But <v Speaker 2>that's the thing though, is Nintendo was kind of like <v Speaker 2>known for reinventing the wheel with everything again, think about <v Speaker 2>like you know, we went, we went from the game <v Speaker 2>cube to the Wii. I think they've learned to the <v Speaker 2>we you to the switch. Those are all very different. <v Speaker 1>But here's the thing with the switch and I've said <v Speaker 1>this a lot, and they even talked about this when <v Speaker 1>they launched the switch. The switches all of their ideas <v Speaker 1>coming together as one. You know, it has the there <v Speaker 1>has the Wii motes from the motion controllers. It has uh, <v Speaker 1>it has like the Wii you pad idea of like <v Speaker 1>the two screens or whatever playing in two places in one. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>They did like a montage of like we've taken the <v Speaker 1>buttons from this and that, this from that. It was <v Speaker 1>them saying, this is everything coming together. So I think now, <v Speaker 1>especially after the failure of we you, they know it's <v Speaker 1>not time to like make the next thing, It's time <v Speaker 1>to perfect the thing that they've spent thirty years making. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I think we've done video games long enough to <v Speaker 2>know what we want for form factor, right, Yeah, Like, <v Speaker 2>and we don't need to like, you know, play with <v Speaker 2>that or poke that bear too much, right, It'll just <v Speaker 2>make something good. They don't. <v Speaker 1>I hope they don't. I think we all know essentially <v Speaker 1>what it's going to. <v Speaker 2>Look, right, Yeah. All right. <v Speaker 1>On the reel and fake poll, we're at forty percent <v Speaker 1>reel and sixty percent fake. It's interesting. I mean, it's <v Speaker 1>not a it's not it's it's not clear obviously. I <v Speaker 1>mean we're pretty split here. It's almost fifty to fifty, <v Speaker 1>I mean forty sixty. <v Speaker 2>I think that the blurry toaster footage is what's throwing <v Speaker 2>most people off. <v Speaker 1>You know, the blurry toaster is throwing me off because <v Speaker 1>it's like, it's like, if you're going to leave me <v Speaker 1>something and you have a video of it, why wouldn't <v Speaker 1>you just like get a decent video, you know. <v Speaker 2>I don't I don't understand, Like what camera does he have? <v Speaker 2>I don't know. But the only the only thing that <v Speaker 2>I could really think of to justify the reasoning for <v Speaker 2>like the video being shit is just the fact that <v Speaker 2>you're obvious not supposed to be sharing this if you're <v Speaker 2>working in a factory, right, So like, if you're gonna <v Speaker 2>pop out your like what do you probably probably not <v Speaker 2>even allowed to have a phone, be. <v Speaker 1>Given, I'm not allowed to be doing this, So I <v Speaker 1>won't use my OPhone. I'll use my motorola from the nineties. <v Speaker 1>It makes it more okay if it looks like crap, <v Speaker 1>I guess, I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I don't know, all right. <v Speaker 1>That's that there's a little bit more in the leak department, <v Speaker 1>which I take all of this with a pinch of salt. <v Speaker 1>And also it's not as interesting as like seeing the <v Speaker 1>joy cons game rent did an article leaka narrows down <v Speaker 1>switch to price and release window, Luigi Blood, No, I <v Speaker 1>mean this, Uh, there's a whole article here, but they've <v Speaker 1>summarized it for us if we even care. So the <v Speaker 1>summary here says switch to his rumored to cost somewhere <v Speaker 1>in the three ninety nine to four forty nine window, <v Speaker 1>which I don't know about that. I mean, my I <v Speaker 1>could see three ninety nine. I don't really see them <v Speaker 1>going unless they've really gone, we're gonna make something cool <v Speaker 1>and powerful that can actually compete, and we're gonna charge <v Speaker 1>you for it. Well let's talk about But I just <v Speaker 1>don't know if that's then at mentality. <v Speaker 2>What would be the reason for having a range though? <v Speaker 2>Like obviously, well here's the thing, right, Like a price <v Speaker 2>range is a price range because range, Yeah, it's a <v Speaker 2>big price range. But what I'm I guess what I'm <v Speaker 2>suggesting is right, you think about any either console right <v Speaker 2>like PlayStation right PS five, there's the non disc version <v Speaker 2>which is less and the disc version, which is more. <v Speaker 2>Like do you think that there's a possibility that there <v Speaker 2>could be a version that doesn't accept cartridges or something <v Speaker 2>like that. I mean, I feel like that's unnecessary, but <v Speaker 2>maybe there's a difference there, Like maybe there's a difference <v Speaker 2>in internal storage that could like cause because if I'm <v Speaker 2>not mistaken, the original switch when it came out, there <v Speaker 2>was no like different models, right, it was just you <v Speaker 2>had different models. <v Speaker 1>We so what were the There was a white model <v Speaker 1>and a black model, and they were like fifty dollars <v Speaker 1>apart or something, and it was because of internal storage <v Speaker 1>the white model had like none. No, No, I don't <v Speaker 1>think so, yeah, I don't think so. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, there's a now that when I say it out loud, <v Speaker 2>there's no reason why there's a there'd be an iteration <v Speaker 2>of the switch that can accept cartridges. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, I can't imagine it, especially with it being <v Speaker 1>backwards compatibility. It's just you're right, then it's not backwards compatible, <v Speaker 1>and they've said that it is. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's an interesting thought. I think it's more just <v Speaker 1>a leaka throwing crap at the wall to see what sticks. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>apparently it's not even a range. This article literally says <v Speaker 1>it's either going to be three or four forty nine. <v Speaker 1>Those are the two prices. It's not even a range, <v Speaker 1>it's just that's what they've picked. It comes from this <v Speaker 1>tweet from Samus Hunter, who is a known leaker. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>they've been known to leak. This lines up with what <v Speaker 1>I've heard heard from where. We don't know for the <v Speaker 1>price I heard it would have been on the lower <v Speaker 1>side of this range, not five hundred, but most likely <v Speaker 1>three ninety nine or four forty nine. Okay, so it <v Speaker 1>is a range. Now this one says three nine nine <v Speaker 1>or four ninety nine, So I don't know what to believe, <v Speaker 1>depending on regent or tax included and a late spring <v Speaker 1>release like June. And then that is a retweet from <v Speaker 1>game React to UK Nintendants which two should release around <v Speaker 1>June and sell for more than four hundred euros? And <v Speaker 1>that's from an article We're going down this rabbit hole <v Speaker 1>from Game Reactor. Uh, let's see what their source was, <v Speaker 1>sources on Nintendo Duo. <v Speaker 2>Can you imagine if we keep going down the source <v Speaker 2>and then the final source is the first source. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, well we're out of stale, mate, because once again <v Speaker 1>I do not speak el spenol. Yes, where once again <v Speaker 1>in Spanish territory and I can't. <v Speaker 2>Read any of you could just translate the article ow <v Speaker 2>I think a Mac maybe, I mean it's Chrome right, <v Speaker 2>so just right click the page and see if you can. <v Speaker 2>They might translate to English. Oh okay, yeah, whoa, we're <v Speaker 2>in the future. Thank you, Elon. It's been around for <v Speaker 2>a long time. <v Speaker 1>According to various sources accessed by Nintenduo, which is the <v Speaker 1>website we're on, Nintendo plans to launch Switch To in <v Speaker 1>the summer of twenty twenty five. I would love a <v Speaker 1>summer to launch, a summer Switch to launch. Summer is <v Speaker 1>such a great time to be playing video games, such <v Speaker 1>a fun time to be playing video games. I know <v Speaker 1>you're supposed to go outside in summer, but there's something <v Speaker 1>so fun about summer. Members of at least six development <v Speaker 1>studios that are working on titles for the Switch successor <v Speaker 1>have confirmed to us that the console's launch window is <v Speaker 1>between June and early July. Okay, so we found after <v Speaker 1>six clicks the route source of this Do a lingo? <v Speaker 2>Do a lingol? What side am I on? <v Speaker 1>Nintenduo corroboration? Yes, sorry about that, that's funny. <v Speaker 2>Said. <v Speaker 1>They're working with development studios that are saying that the <v Speaker 1>games they're making for switch To. They've been told to <v Speaker 1>get ready for a launch window of June and early July. Man, <v Speaker 1>I love that for a launch window. I really do, <v Speaker 1>just because I love playing. It's just the best time here. <v Speaker 1>It's Kim's birthday too. Nintendo is reportedly planning to launch <v Speaker 1>a new console in the second quarter of physical year <v Speaker 1>twenty twenty six. I think that's a typo with this data. <v Speaker 1>The most logical timeframe is around mid June. The ideal <v Speaker 1>time is to company the switch To with a battery <v Speaker 1>of announcements. All right, So I mean that's that's it. <v Speaker 2>Oh wait. <v Speaker 1>After containing Nintendo about the matter, the company did not <v Speaker 1>want to comment. <v Speaker 2>I wonder why. <v Speaker 1>There are many more unknown such as price, which is <v Speaker 1>rumored to be between four and five hundred All right, <v Speaker 1>Where did that come from? High price surges? The price <v Speaker 1>is tent to following the lays information. <v Speaker 2>Again. <v Speaker 1>Analyst of Tokyo Securities has estimated the price. <v Speaker 2>Okay, sir. <v Speaker 1>An analyst has estimated the price will be between or <v Speaker 1>the price would be four hundred and ninety nine a lot. <v Speaker 1>That's what an analyst has predicted, all right, So let's <v Speaker 1>consider this. <v Speaker 2>You can cut to me four nine. Let's let's let's <v Speaker 2>play around with this. I think four ninet nine prohibitively expensive. <v Speaker 2>Four nine is expensive. <v Speaker 1>For Nintendo, They've set a president of being more affordable. <v Speaker 1>Their games are still sixty other than like One, which <v Speaker 1>hit seventy. They've kept the price down on their games <v Speaker 1>and their console, which has been affordable three hundred dollars, <v Speaker 1>even with a light version closer to two hundred dollars. <v Speaker 1>But this whole generation they have been known for affordability. <v Speaker 1>So to hit the five hundred, now you're as expensive <v Speaker 1>as an Xbox It's true. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's hard to justify that for a handheld. <v Speaker 1>Especially when like as I said, and yes, I agree <v Speaker 1>as I said that, I think it's going to be <v Speaker 1>able to do like steam Deck Verified level of play. <v Speaker 1>But even that is less than what an Xbox Series <v Speaker 1>X could put out at full potent. Right, So at <v Speaker 1>four ninety nine, I would have to increase my expectation <v Speaker 1>above steam Deck Verified and go all the way to like, <v Speaker 1>what's what's past PlayStation we'd be in PlayStation five territory. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, what's the price of a base model? O lead <v Speaker 2>steam Deck? I don't know. Let's look. <v Speaker 1>Steam Deck well, base model is not an O lead. <v Speaker 2>Well, okay, an O lead, but I mean base models <v Speaker 2>that they Well why. <v Speaker 1>O lead is what I'm saying, because the switch two <v Speaker 1>won't be lead. <v Speaker 2>Why not? <v Speaker 1>They're just cut down on cost. That's like an extra <v Speaker 1>they're not gonna want to add in an olead. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, is, but isn't like old for one of the <v Speaker 2>leaks and rumors we've had so far, it's not. <v Speaker 1>It's not an O lead and two again, it's just <v Speaker 1>it's an extra fifty to one hundred dollars that you're <v Speaker 1>asking consumers to pay at launch. <v Speaker 2>That's disappointing. Yeah, okay, well then what's a base model <v Speaker 2>steam deck go for them? Uh? <v Speaker 1>Do? Someone in chat? No, because I'm having a hard <v Speaker 1>time finding it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I wish, like I don't know. It's also it <v Speaker 2>could be cheaper now because of sales. <v Speaker 1>I think it's more expensive because I don't know if <v Speaker 1>you can buy the base one anymore. I'm seeing like <v Speaker 1>five hundred to eight hundred on eBay. Oh jeez, we <v Speaker 1>might have to actually look at the olead. <v Speaker 2>Someone said three nine though I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Three around three to four hundred the lead the Oh no, <v Speaker 1>you can still buy it is so expensive. On eBay, <v Speaker 1>the LCD version is three ninety nine, and then the <v Speaker 1>O lead version is five hundred and fifty, which, again <v Speaker 1>is what I'm saying, Nintendo's not going to want to <v Speaker 1>add that extra hundred dollars. <v Speaker 2>See someone in chat though, just said that, like, isn't <v Speaker 2>LCD just old technology at this point? And that's and <v Speaker 2>I agree, like, yeah, it's just kind of. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, well yeah, I mean by definition, yes, it's older technology, <v Speaker 1>but it's it's cheaper. <v Speaker 2>It's a lot cheaper, I guess. But whole lead looks <v Speaker 2>so much better. <v Speaker 1>I agree with you, but it adds too much. It <v Speaker 1>adds too much. Would you rather have an O lead screen? <v Speaker 1>Would you rather nintend to spend that one hundred dollars <v Speaker 1>on an O lead screen or spend that one hundred <v Speaker 1>dollars on the GPU. <v Speaker 2>That's a good question. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, one hundred dollars on a GPU can go pretty <v Speaker 1>far when you're doing a pre built console. Yeah, and <v Speaker 1>then you can always do the revision, you know, three <v Speaker 1>years down the line or whatever where they introduce the <v Speaker 1>lead for fifty more dollars or whatever. It's like an option. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I mean, I hate it too, but I also don't <v Speaker 1>want the switch to be one thousand dollars at launch. <v Speaker 1>You know you got to you gotta cut costs somewhere. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I guess so unfortunate. Sorry to break that to. <v Speaker 2>You see someone in Chad saying that there's no doubt <v Speaker 2>that they're screen. <v Speaker 1>Oh there's so much doubt. Yeah, there's been absolutely no <v Speaker 1>rum or a leak that it's an O lead. Everything <v Speaker 1>is pointing towards it being an LCD. Damn, as far <v Speaker 1>as I've seen and I've heard, and I know, and <v Speaker 1>I feel and I vibe, Yeah, and I predict could <v Speaker 1>be wrong. If I'm wrong, I'm happy. I'll be happy <v Speaker 1>to be wrong on that one. <v Speaker 2>I'll be yeah. <v Speaker 1>Okay, that's all of that. And then the last leak <v Speaker 1>related thing I have what the old time, will we <v Speaker 1>because we actually had fun things to talk about that once. <v Speaker 2>Leaks fifty five minutes right now? Okay, that's not too bad. <v Speaker 2>You were doing good. You can cut to this. <v Speaker 1>This is a Reddit thread tempered glass and switch to <v Speaker 1>case appears in ali Baba. This probably means nothing but <v Speaker 1>up on ali Baba, which is a site like ali Express, <v Speaker 1>wish they posted, oh there was a there was a <v Speaker 1>listing posted for a switch to case that even has <v Speaker 1>the logo somewhere. <v Speaker 2>Or now you know, I don't trust a logo on <v Speaker 2>ali Baba at all. I don't even remotely accurate. No, <v Speaker 2>I don't either at all. <v Speaker 1>I just wanted to pull it up because I found <v Speaker 1>it his like the screen switch to screens. <v Speaker 2>Screen ptectors. I think that I think that's helpful to <v Speaker 2>say for sure. <v Speaker 1>So I mean, this is according to the models that <v Speaker 1>we saw, about the right size. <v Speaker 2>But here's the thing. <v Speaker 1>When things get leaked like the model that we had, <v Speaker 1>and then you can accurately predict the size of the <v Speaker 1>switch to based on that leak. If these companies were <v Speaker 1>to believe that leak is real, or have any reason <v Speaker 1>to believe that leak is real, they might take those <v Speaker 1>models and in advance start making screen protectors and things <v Speaker 1>so that they're there day one, right. But it could <v Speaker 1>also be people trolling. It could also be people not <v Speaker 1>even trolling. It could be just some random Joe that <v Speaker 1>was like, I can make a screen protector. I'll make <v Speaker 1>one for this new model. So listing on ali Abarba <v Speaker 1>doesn't really mean anything, but it does look like these <v Speaker 1>are to the proportions of that model leak that we saw. <v Speaker 1>Interesting though, these switch to cases have depads. Why I <v Speaker 1>don't know. I mean, the reason I could think of is, <v Speaker 1>if we're to believe that these are real, then forget <v Speaker 1>all the other leagues you've seen. <v Speaker 2>The switch to has dpads, not buttons. Yeah, I don't <v Speaker 2>Why would there be two dpads though, you know, I <v Speaker 2>mean in any case, like, I have no idea. And <v Speaker 2>why also, why would it matter what is like jutting <v Speaker 2>out of the case right, because it doesn't have to <v Speaker 2>have those things to protect what's inside of it. <v Speaker 1>This case is interesting because it seems to give some <v Speaker 1>extra room for those triggers that we saw. I don't know, <v Speaker 1>I just found it interesting. Again, I don't I don't know. <v Speaker 1>There's nothing really. I think all the listings were pulled <v Speaker 1>down so I can't even click on these or maybe. <v Speaker 2>Oh wait, this listing is still. <v Speaker 1>Up if you can cut you want to, and it's <v Speaker 1>got some like faky photoshopped stretched switch in there. <v Speaker 2>But yeah, that's it. That was all the the little <v Speaker 2>things I've found, all right, All right, Oh where we go? <v Speaker 2>That's that was the button for the sponsor, which we <v Speaker 2>don't have for this episode, Join the Patriot. Alright, let <v Speaker 2>me see here. We got a thirty thousand dollar shop game. <v Speaker 2>Sorry what you heard me? <v Speaker 1>We have somebody muttered the switch light to be able <v Speaker 1>to adopt. We have the Zelder gotchas. And then I <v Speaker 1>just saw an interesting tweet about four years difference for <v Speaker 1>video games back in the day. Is not the four <v Speaker 1>years difference in video games today? Well like economics, No, <v Speaker 1>like visuals, oh so like the leap in visuals over <v Speaker 1>four years, like going from something like Super Nintendo to <v Speaker 1>sixty four in a span of four years. <v Speaker 2>It very different. <v Speaker 1>I just got to be an interesting conversation, right, have <v Speaker 1>you heard of that? <v Speaker 2>What's that? It's like a it's a termin learn in <v Speaker 2>college about uh about the advancement of technology and how <v Speaker 2>like it's sort of like a you know, it'll like <v Speaker 2>evens out kind of or like or no, it's supposed <v Speaker 2>to go the other way. It's supposed to like get <v Speaker 2>even better every year, right, like we're supposed to be <v Speaker 2>able to in college. I don't know. Yeah, I don't <v Speaker 2>even remember. I was drinking a lot, So thanks for that, no, <v Speaker 2>but thanks for the no. But I feel like I <v Speaker 2>feel like at a certain point right, like like you're <v Speaker 2>gonna go We're just getting closer and closer to reality, right, yeah, <v Speaker 2>So like just like it's all a matter of just <v Speaker 2>adding more polygons, you know, so like at a certain point, <v Speaker 2>like there's gonna be too many polygons for us to <v Speaker 2>be able to distinguish it between fake in real life. <v Speaker 2>So I want to dive into that conversation. I don't <v Speaker 2>know if we even need to write or I don't know. <v Speaker 2>It's upset. We could if you think it. If you <v Speaker 2>think we have roll it. <v Speaker 1>We have four things, though I think we only have <v Speaker 1>time rolled one roll it and then the other three <v Speaker 1>should be in the bonus. <v Speaker 2>Can you just real quick show the gotcha's. <v Speaker 1>I think that I was gonna say that should be <v Speaker 1>the one and then we'll save the other three for <v Speaker 1>the bonus. <v Speaker 2>Oh you want to talk about you want to talk <v Speaker 2>about technology and the bonus? Why not? Okay, I'm down. <v Speaker 2>Let's do it. Show me those gotchas? All right? Little <v Speaker 2>little people? <v Speaker 1>What do you what? <v Speaker 2>What do you mean? Little people? I don't know. That's crazy. <v Speaker 2>I was gone. <v Speaker 1>I used to there's this thing I took from Bob. <v Speaker 1>I used to call people piss ants. For fun, right, <v Speaker 1>I'd be like, all right, little piss ants, and that <v Speaker 1>I would call the audience piss ants because I thought <v Speaker 1>it was funny and cute, and it was like, all right, <v Speaker 1>let's move along. And then people with no sense of <v Speaker 1>humor I saw in the comments were actually getting upset <v Speaker 1>that I was calling them piss ants like they were <v Speaker 1>getting upset, which, to be fair, before I met Bob <v Speaker 1>and I learned how like harsh he is as a <v Speaker 1>person and that it's supposed to be affectionate, I was <v Speaker 1>also like, are you calling me a piss ant? But <v Speaker 1>eventually I just came around to it, and now I <v Speaker 1>think it's funny to also be at harsh and I went. <v Speaker 2>To go and do it. <v Speaker 1>I was like, all right, little people, I just pulled <v Speaker 1>on it, and then it came out way worse than <v Speaker 1>I wanted it. All right, little piss ants. We've got <v Speaker 1>a gankey over here on Twitter sharing. I am so <v Speaker 1>upset about this. Zelda Tears of the Kingdom' Zoni device, <v Speaker 1>Gotcha machine at the Nintendo Store. <v Speaker 2>Nintendo Store and then the museum. They keep doing these <v Speaker 2>cool ass things. Man, Why are you so disappointed? <v Speaker 1>Though? Because I'm not there? Because I'm not there because <v Speaker 1>Japan is the best place. It's miss Magic. Japan is <v Speaker 1>Disney in real life, and every time you go, it's <v Speaker 1>the best, it's the best, and you find the best off. <v Speaker 1>But I swear the second you leave, you see a <v Speaker 1>thousand articles with like look at this cool stem that <v Speaker 1>you would have. <v Speaker 2>Loved to have seen. <v Speaker 1>Literally the first time we went, uh, like a week <v Speaker 1>after we left, they announced and started building Nintendo Kyoto, <v Speaker 1>where you could go when you could buy joy cons <v Speaker 1>of any colors, you could like make your own switch <v Speaker 1>bundle with any colors, and they it opened shortly after <v Speaker 1>we left. And then the next time we went, shortly <v Speaker 1>after we left, they announced and built the museum and <v Speaker 1>some other thing too, I can't remember what it is. <v Speaker 1>And it's also like you see little things like this, <v Speaker 1>you see like all these cool toys and like Nintendo things. <v Speaker 2>Coming this time. <v Speaker 1>This time was the GameCube fidget toys that came out <v Speaker 1>almost immediately after. And now they're doing another gotcha with <v Speaker 1>all of the Zoni devices from Tiers of the Kingdom. <v Speaker 2>And this is so hacking perfect because if. <v Speaker 1>You've played the game, you get these pieces out of <v Speaker 1>a gotcha in the game so this is a real <v Speaker 1>life Tiers of the Kingdom gotcha. It's the same machine <v Speaker 1>that that I that I used when I was in <v Speaker 1>Japan to get the controller pieces out of. Now, when <v Speaker 1>I did it, everything had a sound effect like you <v Speaker 1>put the coin and it was a Mario coin. When <v Speaker 1>it came out, it was the Mario Tunnel sound. I <v Speaker 1>wonder if they changed the sounds to be Zeuda. <v Speaker 2>Maybe it's unfortunate that the machine they didn't like change <v Speaker 2>the machine to look like the machine in the game, <v Speaker 2>because they're just using the same gotcha machine as the <v Speaker 2>old ones. <v Speaker 1>Right, Yeah, I mean, I don't know. It's still cool. <v Speaker 1>It's then Nintendo, it's the Nintendo Gotcha machine. <v Speaker 2>I would like. Yeah, I got bad news and I <v Speaker 2>got good news for you. What's okay? The bad news <v Speaker 2>is that you're not going to be able to pull <v Speaker 2>one of these out of a gotcha machine yourself, like <v Speaker 2>you are your own you know, link in a video game. Uh. <v Speaker 2>The good news is I haven't now, I don't have <v Speaker 2>some here right now, but I've got some on the <v Speaker 2>way and they'll I have a guy who's going to <v Speaker 2>pick them up on his way back for the holidays <v Speaker 2>because he lives in Japan, So get me all of them. <v Speaker 2>I already told him to get all of them. <v Speaker 1>So there's the fan, which I hope works. I doubt that, <v Speaker 1>you don't think. <v Speaker 2>No, I mean maybe it'll spin. Look it looks loose <v Speaker 2>in that's what I mean. It'll spin. I meant like <v Speaker 2>it turns on. <v Speaker 1>No, I just hope you can like blow it. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>the dragon head that blows fire. <v Speaker 2>The cooking pots, I think that is. I can't really tell. <v Speaker 1>The unicorn head beam, the wheel, and of course the rocket. <v Speaker 2>To the first image, they're easier to see there, it's <v Speaker 2>easier than that. Look at the first image. Yeah, look <v Speaker 2>at those. That's definitely the cooking pot. Yeah, there you go. <v Speaker 2>Yeah they're really cool. I wish I wish, I wish, <v Speaker 2>I wish I was a fish. Pretty fire, pretty fair. <v Speaker 1>Oh. <v Speaker 2>Also, you know you know their magnets, right man? No, <v Speaker 2>I didn't know that. Why is that bad? No, it's <v Speaker 2>not bad. It's cool. Put the stick them to things, <v Speaker 2>you know, like the game. So I thought of everything <v Speaker 2>they really did. They really did. Yeah, I want those, <v Speaker 2>get me those. I will get take those. I will <v Speaker 2>take I will get you six of them. We'll figure <v Speaker 2>it out. For sure. I can pay for them this time. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>they're gonna be cheap though, but we'll figure it out. <v Speaker 2>It's fine. Well that six which is about five bucks, <v Speaker 2>like like four bucks. Economy, economy, dude, the president. Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 2>I'm I'm thinking about I'm working on going to Japan. Also. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>when trying to go to February. Yeah, with the boys, <v Speaker 2>must it? Okay? You're talking to a guy who's never <v Speaker 2>been before, though, so you. <v Speaker 1>Know, talking to a guy that's been twice, so I <v Speaker 1>know what I'm missing. <v Speaker 2>Fair enough? Fair enough, I don't know, but I you know, <v Speaker 2>you're talking guy who's never been there before. It's a <v Speaker 2>great place. You're gonna love it. I'm excited. Oh god, <v Speaker 2>it's so good. I'm excited. Food. I'm only gonna go <v Speaker 2>for like a week. It's not enough time. You go <v Speaker 2>to go for two weeks. I know it's not enough time. <v Speaker 2>But not enough time, you're gonna hate yourself. I'll think <v Speaker 2>about it. Think maybe maybe I'll maybe I will go <v Speaker 2>for longer. My friends will be there for a week, <v Speaker 2>and I'll just go for longer. At least again, I <v Speaker 2>have a friend, Yeah, I have a friend that lives there, <v Speaker 2>So maybe I could just go stay at his place <v Speaker 2>healers in like northern Japan. <v Speaker 1>Because I'm telling you, my guy, I mean, you can <v Speaker 1>live there for two thirteen years and it wouldn't be <v Speaker 1>enough time. Right, But even if you say ten days, <v Speaker 1>it gives you enough time to try and do a <v Speaker 1>week's worth of stuff and then go back and do <v Speaker 1>whatever you really loved again. Right, Because for Kim and I, <v Speaker 1>both times we've gone the last two days, is us <v Speaker 1>going back to places because we were like, oh, we <v Speaker 1>should have done this, or we should have grabbed that, <v Speaker 1>or we want to just go do this again before <v Speaker 1>we leave. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, true, true, fair, It's right. I'll think about it <v Speaker 2>because I mean, I'll i rol stream while I'm there too, <v Speaker 2>shouts out to me. By the way, twisch dot TV, <v Speaker 2>slash Ham and Scheddar if you want to follow me <v Speaker 2>over there, I'll be I Japan in February. But yeah, <v Speaker 2>that's the uh, that's the that's the idea. We'll see <v Speaker 2>what happens. I'll try to make it happen. You know, <v Speaker 2>we're on a budget, but we'll figure it out. Even <v Speaker 2>Chad agrees with me that one week is too short. <v Speaker 2>On two weeks is better. I agree. Well, I was <v Speaker 2>only going with one week because like my friends, my <v Speaker 2>friends are going to Australia and Japan. I don't want <v Speaker 2>to go to Australia. You know why they go to <v Speaker 2>Australia because they got you know, friends down there that <v Speaker 2>drink a lot on camera sometimes. Oh yeah, I think <v Speaker 2>I know who they're talking about. You probably do. Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 2>that's it. <v Speaker 1>That's not that's not a close Bang Bang What do <v Speaker 1>you mean, Oh, Australia and then Japan, that's close. <v Speaker 2>It's not exactly around the corner. No, it's the same <v Speaker 2>like Hemisphere. <v Speaker 1>Some people have said that to me before, they were like, oh, <v Speaker 1>next time you do Japan or Australia, just sneak up <v Speaker 1>to Japan. <v Speaker 2>It's like ten hours still to Japan from Australia. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I was gonna go. If I was gonna do bang <v Speaker 2>Bang anywhere with Japan, it be South Korea. That's me though, <v Speaker 2>because I love that, because I love Korean food and <v Speaker 2>Korean food my favorite cuisine. <v Speaker 1>Because like, to get to Australia from here, it's like <v Speaker 1>thirty hours of traveling, it's a lot. Japan from here <v Speaker 1>is fourteen hours, and Japan from Australia is ten hours. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>so what do you you're adding in all that Australia <v Speaker 1>travel to say, four hours to Japan? <v Speaker 2>I guess, but you know, hey, well I'm living live. No, <v Speaker 2>I'm not toudging your friends that are doing it. It's <v Speaker 2>just funny. <v Speaker 1>It's separately funny to me because people always say, like, <v Speaker 1>do Japan Australia at the same time. That sounds like <v Speaker 1>a nightmare. That's two big travels at once. <v Speaker 2>True. <v Speaker 1>All right, we got a bonus episode to do with <v Speaker 1>the Patreons, whom we love so well.
