<v Speaker 1>Welcome in everybody to Nintendo Live Episode seven, aplause I <v Speaker 1>have to ask for it. Hey, there is you gave <v Speaker 1>away the little secret I did? <v Speaker 2>Was I not supposed to? <v Speaker 1>Well, I was going to introduce him. <v Speaker 3>We have a. <v Speaker 1>Oh so handsome, oh so much of a friend of mine, <v Speaker 1>Max Dreamcast guy in the house. Hello. We've been trying <v Speaker 1>to hook this up for over a year now, a <v Speaker 1>very long time. Yeah, finally did it. The funny thing is, <v Speaker 1>I've been trying to hook it up in a way <v Speaker 1>where around too many games you come to my house <v Speaker 1>for an episode, but you somehow made it out to <v Speaker 1>the studio for an episode. Yep, I'm so happy to <v Speaker 1>have you here. You're also filling in the ease spot <v Speaker 1>for the day because he couldn't make it, we had <v Speaker 1>to push the episode up a little earlier because you <v Speaker 1>have a flying like in five minutes. Essentially you're on <v Speaker 1>borrowed time. I'm not sure if you're going to make <v Speaker 1>it to that light or not, so we're gonna get <v Speaker 1>you out of here as soon as we can. Also <v Speaker 1>joined by another Max. We've got two Maxes, Maximilian. What <v Speaker 1>the heck? I think this is? Like the only two <v Speaker 1>Maxes I've ever known in my life, and they're both <v Speaker 1>in the same room with me, right, what's the chance <v Speaker 1>we have to battle to the death later. It's just <v Speaker 1>I don't think anyone else has ever been sat in <v Speaker 1>the room with two Maxes. I maxed out on Max. <v Speaker 1>That's what's the mid max on Max in this room? <v Speaker 2>Its great joke. I love that. <v Speaker 4>Here we go. <v Speaker 2>Do we have a laughter? <v Speaker 4>Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Do you have a sound effect for that? <v Speaker 2>Maybe? <v Speaker 5>Do it? <v Speaker 4>To qu up again? <v Speaker 1>What's the what's the mid max on Max? <v Speaker 2>We got it? <v Speaker 1>You can't find the button? <v Speaker 6>Uh? <v Speaker 1>And him? <v Speaker 4>And I wonder if I think the only laugh we <v Speaker 4>have is bowser. <v Speaker 1>We need to get a laugh. We need to get <v Speaker 1>a laugh track. That can't I can't be cued up <v Speaker 1>with it a madic. <v Speaker 4>Chat anyway. <v Speaker 1>We also have Ham. I'm here, and we have my <v Speaker 1>gorgeous wife Kim, who might be sat in between shots <v Speaker 1>right now. Cut the dream cast guy cut to you. <v Speaker 1>She's cuts back to you. Yep, she's right in between those. <v Speaker 7>Also microphone here in our in our mind's eye, can <v Speaker 7>you can I get can I get a can I <v Speaker 7>get a high five? <v Speaker 4>Right here? <v Speaker 1>Smack smack me right disapprove your hands. <v Speaker 2>To prove that, to prove that your wife exists, Uh. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, she just lives in another state. She goes to school. <v Speaker 1>You guys don't know where, all right? We actually she <v Speaker 1>actually does live in another state. <v Speaker 2>She does, so do I. <v Speaker 1>We have a big day. We have a lot of <v Speaker 1>things to talk about. <v Speaker 5>I do. <v Speaker 1>I do regret to inform everybody that it's more switched <v Speaker 1>to stuff, oh boy. And I also regret to inform <v Speaker 1>that usually when I come to you with switch to stuff, <v Speaker 1>it's usually because I believe it. I've kind of always <v Speaker 1>said that, like, if I'm going to talk about switch rumors, <v Speaker 1>I at least want them to be like things that <v Speaker 1>I feel like are grounded in some sort of reality. <v Speaker 1>This week, the only news out of anything Nintendo has <v Speaker 1>literally just been these leaks. And I'm gonna be upfront <v Speaker 1>with you now, someone else in the room's gonna have <v Speaker 1>to convince me because I don't believe a single one <v Speaker 1>of these. <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna tell you straight up, I've been seeing a <v Speaker 2>lot of leaks this week, and every leak I've been seeing, <v Speaker 2>I'm like, well, I don't know about that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, right, Max, You you do a lot of news <v Speaker 1>type stuff every day. I know you've been busy because <v Speaker 1>you've been in New York and before this I was <v Speaker 1>at Quake Counts. I haven't been home in a week. <v Speaker 1>Have you been following any of me? It's all news. <v Speaker 8>The only thing I saw was something about that it's <v Speaker 8>not coming out till April, after April twenty twenty five. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, that's all I saw. Literally last episode, I <v Speaker 1>did a whole thing where me and him were talking <v Speaker 1>about how it's definitely coming out March, like before March. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>because that's what the guy said, and some people in <v Speaker 1>the comments of that episode saying that actually he said <v Speaker 1>they would just reveal it before much, which I think <v Speaker 1>is fair. I think at this point, I'm confused and <v Speaker 1>I don't even really know where we're at with it. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>but I think he did say they're going to reveal <v Speaker 1>it before that in a physical year, which is much, <v Speaker 1>which means it could technically come out after that. They <v Speaker 1>could just reveal it. <v Speaker 2>I mean, we're splitting hairs at this point, but this leak. <v Speaker 1>Is suggesting maybe April, So we'll look through that and <v Speaker 1>toinn of other stuff. Matt, Why you even in New <v Speaker 1>York though? We didn't talk about that. I am here <v Speaker 1>for an event. Sega flew me up here to play. <v Speaker 8>The people that are making Persona are doing a new <v Speaker 8>project called Metaphor recond to Zeo. That's coming to Switch too, <v Speaker 8>right it is, Yeah, it's coming to Switch. The version <v Speaker 8>I played was on Xbox. I don't know if Xbox <v Speaker 8>is funding it or if it's coming to game Pass whatever, <v Speaker 8>but I played it on Xbox and not allowed to <v Speaker 8>talk about towards the end of the month. But it's <v Speaker 8>a It's honestly, it's one of those games that I <v Speaker 8>feel like no one's talking about. <v Speaker 1>I think everybody should be talking about it. It's one <v Speaker 1>of the gamiest games that's ever gamed. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, can you say if you liked it? You know, <v Speaker 1>even if I get I will say I really liked it. Okay, <v Speaker 1>I doubt, I'm gonna I doubt. Ok Yeah. <v Speaker 8>I went there and played with a bunch of other <v Speaker 8>influencers and we literally went out to dinner right afterward <v Speaker 8>and just talked for like four hours for help. <v Speaker 1>That's cool. That's actually exciting because that's the you probably <v Speaker 1>just said. But that's Persona people, right. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>So I'm a huge fan of Persona and just like <v Speaker 1>everybody else in the Persona around waiting for Persona six. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>So when I saw them reveal this, I was like, <v Speaker 1>that's not Persona. How long am I gonna have to wait? <v Speaker 2>Now? <v Speaker 1>Ye? But the more I saw of the game, the <v Speaker 1>more interesting it looked, and like they shouldn't if they <v Speaker 1>shouldn't be pigeonholed into just making Persona, like otherwise they're <v Speaker 1>gonna get bored and then creativity is gonna get stifled <v Speaker 1>and you're gonna have a situation like with Pokemon and <v Speaker 1>game Freak where they're just making the same game over <v Speaker 1>and over and over again and there's no inspiration left anymore. <v Speaker 1>So sure, even if I have to wait longer, take <v Speaker 1>your time, make your wacky, and then make Persona when <v Speaker 1>you're ready. But the wacky looks fun. <v Speaker 8>It almost also feels kind of Lord of the Ringsy <v Speaker 8>in a weird way, because that's interesting more historical fantasy. <v Speaker 8>So it's very Persona in historical fantasy where I'm like, oh, <v Speaker 8>I didn't realize how much this would actually work. Of <v Speaker 8>like building Chain, there's like forty minutes a gameplay out there. <v Speaker 8>Anybody who hasn't seen it at least clicked one of <v Speaker 8>those forty minute game play uploads and click around in it, <v Speaker 8>because I feel like the trailers make it look like cool. <v Speaker 1>When you see the gameplayer're like, wow, this is just persona. <v Speaker 1>Lord of the Rings, Like wow, I'm interested. So I <v Speaker 1>was gonna say, I find it funny that just like <v Speaker 1>me not really sure what the NBA cover is. I <v Speaker 1>never I never know what I signed. We had a <v Speaker 1>whole thing with that recently. Uh, you saying you don't <v Speaker 1>know if you can say you liked it, but you will, <v Speaker 1>you won't get in trouble. But I bet if you <v Speaker 1>said you didn't like it, Oh yeah, then you would <v Speaker 1>get in trouble. But reguardelines, even if you're breaking guidelines, <v Speaker 1>if you say you like it, I'm sure they're like, <v Speaker 1>well let us lip. No, we're not gonna worry about that. <v Speaker 8>All the Persona sites are gonna be quoting it. Max <v Speaker 8>on the Endo podcast. <v Speaker 1>Yes, said it was pretty good. Ah cool and also yeah, <v Speaker 1>shout out to you everyone. Check out your channel dreamcast guy, <v Speaker 1>you've been making content alongside spawn and RGT, and you've <v Speaker 1>been on the spawncast for a long time. You've been <v Speaker 1>in that community circle that whirl in and just crushing <v Speaker 1>it doing that. Yeah, the daily news thing is the <v Speaker 1>daily news, the RGT daily news style thing. <v Speaker 2>I like it. <v Speaker 8>I don't know, it feels much more conversational. I know <v Speaker 8>it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's cool. I <v Speaker 8>do that and sprinkling all the big reviews and so. <v Speaker 2>Wait, So what do you do? You wait? <v Speaker 1>Because you work out? Like me, I work out every day, <v Speaker 1>So I wake up at. <v Speaker 8>Eight am, I make videos from eight am to noon, <v Speaker 8>go to the gym for about an hour and a half, <v Speaker 8>and then I eat my meal and I go back. <v Speaker 1>And that's when whenever I work on reviews. I work <v Speaker 1>on the reviews from like two pm. So structured, so clean. <v Speaker 1>I was saying this to Kim yesterday. My whole structure <v Speaker 1>is I wake up, I eat, I wait an hour <v Speaker 1>for it to digest. I go work out. Then I <v Speaker 1>do all my other cooking and everything, and I start <v Speaker 1>working at like five pm, and I'll work through until, <v Speaker 1>like I get summoned for Valorie with Bob at like eleven. <v Speaker 1>So that's my every day Zaiwaki. And I was saying <v Speaker 1>to Kim, I wish I could just get up do <v Speaker 1>all my work, then go Jim. But I don't like <v Speaker 1>going Jim with a belly full of like three meals. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, So that's what when I do this, I like <v Speaker 8>because I worked in the book business for ten years <v Speaker 8>and I used to work the eleven to seven shift, <v Speaker 8>and it kind of sucks because you couldn't really do. <v Speaker 1>Anything in the morning and you couldn't do anything in <v Speaker 1>the afternoon. <v Speaker 8>But I really kind of got in this format of <v Speaker 8>like the second I wake up, I need to immediately eat. <v Speaker 8>And I was making videos at the time, so it's <v Speaker 8>like I had to immediately make like a video the <v Speaker 8>second I woke up to have it ready to go <v Speaker 8>by ten am so I can be ready to walk <v Speaker 8>out the doors. I really in that frame line where <v Speaker 8>the second I wake up, it's. <v Speaker 1>Like if you're in the routine, yeah, I keep it going. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>or your next looking thick? Really, I mean you're looking <v Speaker 1>thick me, You and Spawn in that group chat, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I mean, honestly, I feel like it's mostly you and <v Speaker 1>me now where Spawn beIN. He's not even typing in <v Speaker 1>there anymore. True. <v Speaker 8>I feel like people who follow Wood on Instagram, he <v Speaker 8>posts a lot of cool stuff about working out, but privately. <v Speaker 8>Wood has been giving me stuff about diet and routine <v Speaker 8>and fitness and just lily proper form and I've been <v Speaker 8>able to send video. So honestly, anybody ever critiqued me <v Speaker 8>on my physique or completed my physique, it's ninety percent <v Speaker 8>Wood who did. <v Speaker 1>Thank you, brother, man. No, I told you you're awesome <v Speaker 1>about it too, because you're so positive. Like anything I <v Speaker 1>send in the chat, as far as my pictures and <v Speaker 1>photos you hype me up. You're like my hype man. <v Speaker 1>And then anything like you know you want to like <v Speaker 1>talk about diet or like what you should be doing <v Speaker 1>with this or that, You're so receptive to it and <v Speaker 1>you're like thanks, and I'm like, it just feels so good. <v Speaker 1>You feel so good. <v Speaker 8>I like when I'll send a workout video and you'll <v Speaker 8>critique like try this more pause here, and it's like, well, <v Speaker 8>I appreciate someone that we had that mutual respect where <v Speaker 8>it's like, yeah, roast me, I need to. <v Speaker 1>Get better roasting. Yeah. No, No, I appreciate you. Man. <v Speaker 1>You've been a friend for a long time. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I was thinking about the other day. You and I <v Speaker 1>have been like hanging out off and on for six <v Speaker 1>years or something crazy. We went to Gearbox together in Texas. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>like six years ago or something. <v Speaker 8>Oh my gosh, we've been hanging out for like eight <v Speaker 8>years because we were friends about two years before that. <v Speaker 1>It's been a long it's been a while, but been <v Speaker 1>a minute, you know else, it's been a minute. The switch, <v Speaker 1>I know. Yeah, isn't it about time for that switch too? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? <v Speaker 8>I do think about that a lot in that I <v Speaker 8>feel like I'm not gonna even like say, there isn't <v Speaker 8>hype for the current switch, but I feel like there <v Speaker 8>used to be this fervor of every release, every announcement, everything, <v Speaker 8>and like even the rumor of an intended direct would <v Speaker 8>blow up the internet. But I feel like at this <v Speaker 8>point it does feel like everyone's kind of be like it's. <v Speaker 1>A dime a dozen, yeah, and people are just throwing <v Speaker 1>hail Mary's out there now. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>And it's always these websites that I've never heard of before, <v Speaker 1>like gameposts dot com, yeah, limited limited tech news, like <v Speaker 1>the Heaven of games. Like every time I'm like this, <v Speaker 1>you you invented this today? To post yes, and they'll <v Speaker 1>do It's it's probably like some like marketing scheme where <v Speaker 1>game rant or something is making subsidiary websites that link <v Speaker 1>back to them for monetary stuff, and they just getting <v Speaker 1>the hit piece of views, losing credibility on gaming Heaven, <v Speaker 1>deleting it and then making a new one. It has <v Speaker 1>to be because I don't know who else is or <v Speaker 1>content of farms. We'll get into it first. Up, we <v Speaker 1>got a voicemail hit. <v Speaker 2>Me all right, So this voicemail comes all the way <v Speaker 2>from the United Kingdom. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god. <v Speaker 2>Well, actually I need a moment because discord hold on <v Speaker 2>start for three seconds? Would Uh? <v Speaker 1>How's everybody going out there? Actually I don't even have <v Speaker 1>a shot up. I should bring shut up. <v Speaker 2>I got it right now. <v Speaker 4>Listening. <v Speaker 1>I'm ready, here we go. <v Speaker 4>Let's go. <v Speaker 7>Okay, second time lucky and your weird voicemail box won't <v Speaker 7>put me off this time. <v Speaker 1>See everyone ring that just to hear it. Ignore my <v Speaker 1>last message please. <v Speaker 3>I'm Charlie, a long term Patreon and from the UK. <v Speaker 9>Full of anxiety and epileptics. <v Speaker 3>So in that possible A lot the switch has been. <v Speaker 1>A life saver. <v Speaker 7>Certain games get me through hard times, like how Animal <v Speaker 7>Crossing got people through the pandemic. <v Speaker 2>I played a lot of Little Goody two Shoes in <v Speaker 2>hospital recently. <v Speaker 1>Anyway, has any game got you through a hard time? Thanks, <v Speaker 1>very similar conversation topic to last week. As far as <v Speaker 1>games that got me through hard times. Thanks for the message, though, <v Speaker 1>I appreciate it. Make sure if you leave a message, <v Speaker 1>leave a question, because we had a lot of voicemails <v Speaker 1>left with no questions. <v Speaker 2>That's true. Yeah, I know the person. They they they <v Speaker 2>left a message prior that was like a minute and <v Speaker 2>a half and then they just said, no, I'm just <v Speaker 2>gonna try it again. <v Speaker 1>I appreciate. <v Speaker 2>I appreciate that. Actually I really do so. <v Speaker 5>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Obviously, last week or whatever it was, I talked about <v Speaker 1>how growing up our Karina or time really helped me <v Speaker 1>through some early stages of depression. As far as like <v Speaker 1>a specific game in my more adult years, I don't <v Speaker 1>think I've like latched onto one and then just replayed <v Speaker 1>one over and over. It's more the concept of playing <v Speaker 1>games like I have so many games, and the experience <v Speaker 1>of just diving straight into a new world as soon <v Speaker 1>as they finish another one is so exciting to me, <v Speaker 1>and it just keeps my brain so fresh and my <v Speaker 1>ADHD so pleased. That that's what helps me was just <v Speaker 1>the concept of gaming more than one game. What about you, <v Speaker 1>Maximilian Uh. <v Speaker 8>I think for me, it's stuff with a lot of <v Speaker 8>side quests, a lot of busy work. Something about checklists <v Speaker 8>kind of helps my brain like process, especially if I'm <v Speaker 8>going through a bad breakup. In January, my mother passed <v Speaker 8>away and it was a very complicated issue because my <v Speaker 8>mom was very bad growing up to me and stuff <v Speaker 8>like that. <v Speaker 1>So when she passed away was right around the time <v Speaker 1>that Final. <v Speaker 8>Fantasy seven Rebirth came out, and anybody's played that, it <v Speaker 8>has hundreds of hours side quests, choke about racing and collectibles, <v Speaker 8>and I really just decided to throw myself into the <v Speaker 8>deep into that and something about just having a chance <v Speaker 8>to sort of checklist digest my own pain and depression and. <v Speaker 2>Stuff like that. <v Speaker 1>It really coming out the other side as I got <v Speaker 1>near the end of the game. <v Speaker 8>There's a scene where you just watch the beach, and <v Speaker 8>I remember the ball of my eyes out look at <v Speaker 8>this digital beach. I think sometimes games help us reflect <v Speaker 8>ourselves and become that mirror. And I almost like side <v Speaker 8>quests most of all of kind of like it doesn't <v Speaker 8>have to even be about how much fun you're having. <v Speaker 1>It's kind of just letting yourself be free in your brain. <v Speaker 8>So I would say any RPG you love, but definitely <v Speaker 8>the more side quests I think that's really like the <v Speaker 8>ones that are good for you just distract you even Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 8>like take take a vacation. <v Speaker 1>From your mind. That's beautiful. How are you doing now? <v Speaker 1>Much better thanks to therapy? <v Speaker 8>Would a couple of years ago I was having some <v Speaker 8>hard times and would sat me down and literally told <v Speaker 8>me to my face and said, look, man, you can <v Speaker 8>choose therapy now or you can be forced for therapy later. <v Speaker 1>So choose it now and start working stuff out. And <v Speaker 1>I started going to therapy. <v Speaker 2>That is so real. What you just said that so <v Speaker 2>real and I needed to. <v Speaker 8>Hear that is exactly what yeah, you said when we <v Speaker 8>were at too many games and I was tired of <v Speaker 8>having some like issues and you said, like, man, like <v Speaker 8>I'm going to therapy and it helps me in a lot, <v Speaker 8>Like start going now, and even if you're all right <v Speaker 8>in the current tents, it will keep you in the <v Speaker 8>all right instead of crashing your whole life and then having. <v Speaker 1>To go to therapy to fix you. Went to therapy <v Speaker 1>because I told you too. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, Well, just everything kept stacking up, and I kept <v Speaker 8>hearing the wood thing in my brain. And you and <v Speaker 8>I have talked about the hard times a lot, and <v Speaker 8>that helped me a lot of kind of be like, yeah, <v Speaker 8>it's there are hard times, but like having a third <v Speaker 8>party professional kind of help you, It's more than just <v Speaker 8>being able to vent to a friend. There's this professional, <v Speaker 8>constructive outlet to it that I didn't realize till you <v Speaker 8>kind of expressed it to me. And I was like, oh, <v Speaker 8>I got to be a grown up, like not to <v Speaker 8>be kind of sitting to myself. But I was like, <v Speaker 8>all right, baby, games are over. It takes a grown <v Speaker 8>up to ask for help. <v Speaker 1>I need help. So that's awesome, man. Yeah. I mean <v Speaker 1>by that point, I think I had kind of just <v Speaker 1>gotten into therapy and it was starting to help me. <v Speaker 1>Now it's been almost two years and therapy has helped <v Speaker 1>me so much. And it's nice to talk about video <v Speaker 1>games as a way of therapy, but I think it's <v Speaker 1>good also to remember there is actual therapy out there <v Speaker 1>too that you can get and games can be a <v Speaker 1>supplemental to that. Someone even mentioned because we had this <v Speaker 1>conversation last week or so with the video games and <v Speaker 1>therapy that that therapist actually recommended that they played video <v Speaker 1>games like Animal Crossing or calming games. And there's apparently <v Speaker 1>even some kind of therapy you can do, like you <v Speaker 1>can play Animal Crossing while with a therapist, while talking <v Speaker 1>to a therapist. <v Speaker 2>Start Stardu Valley. I get ads for it on Instagram <v Speaker 2>where you can play Stardi Valley and talk to your <v Speaker 2>therapists at the same time. <v Speaker 1>So it's great, but there's definitely a lot of avenues <v Speaker 1>there in ways to to even ease into getting help <v Speaker 1>that's something you're interested in. And yeah, as I said, <v Speaker 1>I've been doing therapy for two years and recently, actually <v Speaker 1>a month or two ago, my therapist and I had <v Speaker 1>a conversation about how I could probably not do it <v Speaker 1>for a little bit now. We just we're at a <v Speaker 1>point now where I've worked through a lot of the <v Speaker 1>things I was going to therapy for and a lot <v Speaker 1>of the conversations we were having every week were becoming <v Speaker 1>a little repetitive. So she was like, why don't you <v Speaker 1>take a little break if you want, and come back <v Speaker 1>when you're ready to talk about some more stuff. And <v Speaker 1>I feel like maybe soon I might go back, but <v Speaker 1>I've taken the last couple of months off and I've <v Speaker 1>been feeling really good. <v Speaker 4>So yeah, I think the most important. <v Speaker 7>Yeah, and I think once you get that kind of <v Speaker 7>therapy brain not to say that you're cured, but you <v Speaker 7>definitely need you don't need to go. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, well I was going weekly and then we went <v Speaker 1>by weekly and then we were like, let's just put <v Speaker 1>it on polls. Let's take a little break. Yeah, dude, <v Speaker 1>just what she said. I mean, I don't want to brag, <v Speaker 1>but no, I'm not not cured, but my therapist not <v Speaker 1>at all. But my therapist always said that, Like she <v Speaker 1>was like, well, I can't we can't talk about what's <v Speaker 1>going on over there. <v Speaker 4>I was, I was pressing the wrong button. Oh you, <v Speaker 4>I muted. I was, It's okay. He got me on <v Speaker 4>the other mic. <v Speaker 2>So he's pressing a button that was completely disconnected from it. <v Speaker 4>We have this whole second one here. <v Speaker 2>Why you give your your brother the unplug Yeah no, <v Speaker 2>for real, Yeah no, it was the unplugg control. <v Speaker 1>No. I was just gonna say that. The therapist was <v Speaker 1>always telling me that, like without discussing not the client. <v Speaker 1>She was like, I can really tell that in my <v Speaker 1>history of working with people, you are one of the <v Speaker 1>people that are working at it like it's not. She's like, <v Speaker 1>some people just go to therapy and they work on <v Speaker 1>it with me while they're hear and then it feels <v Speaker 1>like they don't really do much outside. But she was like, you, <v Speaker 1>day to day, you are working on this and trying <v Speaker 1>to beat it. And I was like, yeah, because I <v Speaker 1>don't want. <v Speaker 2>To live like this. It's also it's just as much <v Speaker 2>about maintenance as it is about like initially doing it <v Speaker 2>for the first time, right, Like like you if you're <v Speaker 2>only bringing your car to the mechanic every time, like <v Speaker 2>you have a breakdown, like you're doing it wrong. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>but yeah, I know you got to get the oil change. <v Speaker 2>You know, you got to get the transmission fluid. You <v Speaker 2>gotta get everything. So it's it's all there, it's all <v Speaker 2>part of it. <v Speaker 8>On a final note of that, before we move on, <v Speaker 8>I do want to say, feeling terrified to start therapy <v Speaker 8>I was my biggest hurdle, and I'm glad that would <v Speaker 8>like it's. <v Speaker 1>So mid right because you go and you're like, oh, <v Speaker 1>this is not what I thought. I'm just talking to <v Speaker 1>somebody that wants to make me feel better. <v Speaker 8>Yes, I feel like men, especially we're taught to like <v Speaker 8>push it down and push it down and push it down, <v Speaker 8>like I'm so okay, and then you're so afraid, like <v Speaker 8>the exact thing I told what. I was like, man, <v Speaker 8>but you know, start opening the bottle. I'm afraid it's <v Speaker 8>just going to blow up. And so you were like, <v Speaker 8>well you don't want to, so go now so they <v Speaker 8>can help you. <v Speaker 1>Own know how many men would benefit in their lives <v Speaker 1>and their relationships from actually going to therapy. Like we're <v Speaker 1>told just to bottle it all down, but you know <v Speaker 1>what ends up happening. Ninety percent of the time, we <v Speaker 1>end up taking it out on the people around us. <v Speaker 2>Yep. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>And when you're married and when you're with someone every <v Speaker 1>day and that's the person you have to communicate with, <v Speaker 1>you end up taking it out on them, whether you <v Speaker 1>realize you're doing it or not, you know. <v Speaker 2>And I used to be. <v Speaker 1>Hell and Kim knows that. And I went to therapy, <v Speaker 1>and guess what, our relationship is so much better and <v Speaker 1>we're both so much happier. And it goes both ways, <v Speaker 1>but it was mostly me. All right, let's I want <v Speaker 1>to talk to you about switch? Yes, yeah, So let's <v Speaker 1>talk about some of these switch roomors in these switch <v Speaker 1>leaks and see if any of us in the room <v Speaker 1>can be convinced by any of this. Um Now, Nintendo <v Speaker 1>Switch to report says switch release could be April twenty <v Speaker 1>twenty five. Let's start with that one. And there's there's <v Speaker 1>one in here that actually goes over fects of the switch. <v Speaker 1>So we're going to start with this one as far <v Speaker 1>as the release date, and we're just gonna read it <v Speaker 1>and see what we make of it. <v Speaker 2>Or do you just want to read? <v Speaker 1>Sure, let's cut to me. I'm gonna try and as always, <v Speaker 1>I'm going to try and skim because I feel like <v Speaker 1>these articles always write a book about themselves. It's like <v Speaker 1>when you try and find a cooking recipe and they <v Speaker 1>tell you about growing up with old me mar and <v Speaker 1>a delicious chocolate cookie since you would bake them on <v Speaker 1>the summer eve. It's like, I don't care. I've had <v Speaker 1>our switch since day one. I used to sit and <v Speaker 1>play with my kid, and it's I don't care. Get <v Speaker 1>to the good stuff. Uh So, during the latest episode <v Speaker 1>of Game Industry Bierz podcast, as spotted by VGC Publications, <v Speaker 1>Christopher Dring explained that one then tennis. Switch To will <v Speaker 1>be announced before the end of March. It is not <v Speaker 1>expected to be released within the current financial year. Instead, <v Speaker 1>switch To release date could be April twenty twenty five <v Speaker 1>at the earliest. I actually I believe a reason why. <v Speaker 1>Let me cut back to my Google docs. Sorry, I <v Speaker 1>believe a reason why they said that is this one here. <v Speaker 1>Let me cut to this one. Developers reportedly told not <v Speaker 1>to expect switch To to launch before April, so that's <v Speaker 1>how they started. Apparently developers were told not to expect <v Speaker 1>switch to launch until April. So this is I think <v Speaker 1>reporting on the same thing. But I found this article <v Speaker 1>to be more concise. I'm surprised. <v Speaker 8>I've followed Christopher Dream for a while and he doesn't <v Speaker 8>do a lot of all good Who is he? So <v Speaker 8>he's an industry analyst. He's he's very in depth and <v Speaker 8>he does a lot of sales report stuff and tracking <v Speaker 8>kind of like industry data. He's had a couple of <v Speaker 8>viral tweets kind of breaking down the Xbox sales going <v Speaker 8>down and down in Europe and stuff like that, and <v Speaker 8>he's just been talking about it objectively now for years. <v Speaker 8>Anybody's really kind of interested more in the business side <v Speaker 8>of Twitter. He is a good Twitter follow him talking <v Speaker 8>about this is kind of shocking. But if he's speaking up. <v Speaker 1>Do you think you think this guy has it? <v Speaker 8>I think he's either heard that already from like distributors <v Speaker 8>or something or something. But to me, it's just shocking. <v Speaker 8>As a fan, the idea of twenty twenty five seems <v Speaker 8>like a year away, seems so strong away, it seems <v Speaker 8>so far, and it's been such a dry year as well. <v Speaker 1>I'm like, man, I know this, ye just sucks. We've <v Speaker 1>been talking about it a lot, yeah, squeezing content dry. <v Speaker 1>I mean here we are talking about like phony switch <v Speaker 1>to room. Well maybe not, I mean maybe Chris Dring. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>he's a guy. He's a guy. Max knows if anything. <v Speaker 8>I just feel like the only reason that would make <v Speaker 8>sense that the only part that lends this some veracity <v Speaker 8>is that Nintendo definitely does like to kind of hype <v Speaker 8>stuff appropriately to make sure it's like fully explained, But <v Speaker 8>it doesn't like a lot of the leaks and stuff <v Speaker 8>or that it's just going to be a more powerful switch. <v Speaker 8>I do feel like they, you know, could just announce it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, so he said. No developer I've spoken to <v Speaker 1>expected to be launching this financial year, which we will <v Speaker 1>pretty much kind of I think expected for the most part, Right, Like, <v Speaker 1>did you think it was going to come before March? <v Speaker 1>What was your prediction? I hoped, so I hoped, like <v Speaker 1>when though this. <v Speaker 8>Year, I would say January. I was hoping, and I <v Speaker 8>had kind of a an inkling that I thought it <v Speaker 8>would be January or February. It seems like more and <v Speaker 8>more companies have been realizing there's this post holiday window <v Speaker 8>that's actually very profitable. Of like our people have gift cards, <v Speaker 8>people got extra money, they're done spending all their gifts <v Speaker 8>that maybe have a holiday bonus. <v Speaker 1>They've been launching more and more. Keep you're going to <v Speaker 1>launch January, you launch November, I mean, right, just get Christmas. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>especially Nintendo is obsessed with holiday sales. <v Speaker 8>I know they would never do it, but that's almost <v Speaker 8>my thought of like it doesn't seem super super outside <v Speaker 8>the ballpark, but they would be hyping it of like <v Speaker 8>save your Nintendo bunks now, maybe everything you buy on <v Speaker 8>Nintendo Switch will work on the switch, to which. <v Speaker 1>I mean historically we've always seen January be a huge <v Speaker 1>lull for gaming. I mean, even like video games will <v Speaker 1>start coming out early February. Like games have never launched January. <v Speaker 8>Capcom has been for the last couple of years, they've <v Speaker 8>been dropping like some of the Resonaval remakes came out January. <v Speaker 1>Areas seven, I think, came out January sixth. That's so <v Speaker 1>weird because that's a that's a Halloween game. I know <v Speaker 1>we're going to drop that in October, but. <v Speaker 8>It's also interesting because that's one of those have been <v Speaker 8>some of the highest selling Capcom games ever, so I <v Speaker 8>almost feel like more companies are starting to realize like also. <v Speaker 1>The games are sick. They are sick, so like people <v Speaker 1>are gonna buy, Yeah, the best game ever. Yeah, you <v Speaker 1>can drop whatever you want. I don't think any of <v Speaker 1>us want a late launch for Switch too, because we <v Speaker 1>all want a new console. Everyone gets excited for it, <v Speaker 1>and we don't want that crunch of Grand Theft Auto <v Speaker 1>six and Switch and all kinds of stuff on top <v Speaker 1>of each other. <v Speaker 4>Is what he said. <v Speaker 1>I don't really think that Grand Theft Auto six would <v Speaker 1>get in the way of a Switch launch, Like maybe <v Speaker 1>you wouldn't want to launch within a month window, but like, <v Speaker 1>I don't think it would really even matter. It's two <v Speaker 1>completely different audiences. Yeah, if anything, it's like you know <v Speaker 1>how video games tend to release the same day as <v Speaker 1>another game, Like you always get like a Ubisoft release <v Speaker 1>with like an EA release, like some sports game always <v Speaker 1>comes out with Assassin's Creed, And I feel like they <v Speaker 1>do it intentionally on the same day because people are <v Speaker 1>already in game stop and they're like, ah, well that <v Speaker 1>game came out too, if anything, Like I always thought <v Speaker 1>that was accidental. I've talked to a lot of marketing <v Speaker 1>there's no way. <v Speaker 8>I have talked to a lot of marketing people, and <v Speaker 8>it makes it sound like they just pick a date <v Speaker 8>like a year or two out and like it's just hard. <v Speaker 1>Locked in the final it's always it's always like a <v Speaker 1>Thursday or Friday. Yeah, well it's always the same. It's always, <v Speaker 1>like I swear, October eighth always has a game release, <v Speaker 1>like every year. <v Speaker 8>I do, like the all the memes when Animal Crossing <v Speaker 8>and Doom Eternal came out the same day. <v Speaker 1>But that's exactly my point. Yeah, like it kind of <v Speaker 1>it kind of helps. It's like an ecosystem. People already <v Speaker 1>at the store buying one game, they might buy the <v Speaker 1>other game. You know, people are already at the store <v Speaker 1>to get GDA. They see a new Nintendo switches out. <v Speaker 1>They're like, oh, all right, it's Christmas for me. <v Speaker 2>I guess we're forgetting one kind of key like thing, <v Speaker 2>right is that? <v Speaker 4>Right? <v Speaker 2>Now? With kids? The uh jen Alpha humor very much <v Speaker 2>includes we got X before we got GTA six. So <v Speaker 2>I feel like the GTA six release is actually very <v Speaker 2>important when it comes to uh, you know, how they're <v Speaker 2>going to schedule this, meme wise is very important. <v Speaker 1>The meme marketing. <v Speaker 7>Yeah, maybe maybe also I wonder, I wonder if there <v Speaker 7>are people who are going to buy a console just <v Speaker 7>for GTA six. <v Speaker 2>Oh, I am mean. <v Speaker 4>I feel like that's one of those games that you know, <v Speaker 4>would sell consoles. <v Speaker 1>H for sure, So maybe maybe just early? Yeah you <v Speaker 1>know what? Okay, you can I believe you. So I <v Speaker 1>switched early in the year and then GDA late in <v Speaker 1>the year. Here's my thing with this article, though, This <v Speaker 1>is just this guy saying that I guess developers have <v Speaker 1>been told not expected before April. I don't know why <v Speaker 1>then all these articles are saying, uh, an April twenty <v Speaker 1>twenty five release day or am I just reading it wrong? <v Speaker 1>Developers haven't brief I could be right. <v Speaker 4>Isn't it. <v Speaker 8>Fiscal year in March? So it means basically like it <v Speaker 8>can't come out before April. <v Speaker 1>We already knew this. Yeah, this is this is not new. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, and yet here we are reporting on it and <v Speaker 8>linking to VGC dot com with Chris Dring's amazing reporting. <v Speaker 1>They got us. Where are where are we? This is <v Speaker 1>the content, milk brother? It is all right? Well next, uh, <v Speaker 1>let's talk about the leaked specs. Ever heard of Gaming Bible? <v Speaker 2>Yes? <v Speaker 1>What is that? <v Speaker 4>Is that good? <v Speaker 1>I do not think they are a very good website. No, <v Speaker 1>I don't think so either. Let's find out Nantanna switched <v Speaker 1>to leak specs? Sound like an absolute dream? You know <v Speaker 1>what a dream is. It's something that casts guys. Okay, <v Speaker 1>I'm sorry, that's my bad joke. <v Speaker 4>Cut to you. <v Speaker 1>No, that's a good joke. You're asking the dreamcast guys. <v Speaker 1>Tell me what a dream is. It's a nice fake <v Speaker 1>thing that you experience in sleep time. So if it <v Speaker 1>sounds like an absolute dream, you're probably dreaming. Yeah, you <v Speaker 1>know what I dreamt last night? Then my computer got <v Speaker 1>hacked and I couldn't fix it. You ever had those <v Speaker 1>dreams where like you're trying to fix technology or do <v Speaker 1>something with technology and nothing ever works. Yeah, I had <v Speaker 1>one of those dreams. I kept trying to turn off <v Speaker 1>Wi Fi so pop up would stop coming up on <v Speaker 1>my computer. And then someone walked in and they were like, <v Speaker 1>you can't turn off the internet. They changed that on <v Speaker 1>window seven and I. <v Speaker 2>Was like, okay, yeah, no, I have that nightmare, but <v Speaker 2>in real life usually. <v Speaker 1>So I had that nightmare today on the way and <v Speaker 1>actually my phone wouldn't work. Oh all right, so let <v Speaker 1>me try. And why is this site so laggy? I <v Speaker 1>can't scroll? It has the entire gaming Bible on it. Well, <v Speaker 1>it is a bible because they're doing the whole story <v Speaker 1>thing as the home to the incredible titles as the <v Speaker 1>older brother of the one I don't know cross doing. <v Speaker 1>And no, if you're's a solid place in Antenno history, <v Speaker 1>I don't care. Umm not. According to FAMI boards members <v Speaker 1>lic and Luigi Board, I've heard of Luis Wait, Luigi Blow. <v Speaker 1>I've heard of Luigi Blood. We've talked about them before. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, I know the Luigi board meme, but I <v Speaker 1>don't know who Luigi Blood. We've talked about them before. <v Speaker 1>I think that's a great name. The NINTENDA Switch two <v Speaker 1>will come with a sixty what charge and a cooler <v Speaker 1>found inside the dock. Can someone is anyone available at <v Speaker 1>my whole laptop is sketching out. Can someone look up <v Speaker 1>Luigi Blood for me? <v Speaker 2>Please? <v Speaker 7>Because it was the last It was the last uh <v Speaker 7>rumor we had. It was Luigi Blood on some sort <v Speaker 7>of on some sort of forum. <v Speaker 1>Could you google it please? <v Speaker 4>Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Because I want to know if whatever that was they <v Speaker 1>got right or not. Is this part of the same leaks? <v Speaker 8>There was a leaks a while ago that I thought <v Speaker 8>were like pretty much one hundred percent verified, noriscus was <v Speaker 8>oh okay, good good? <v Speaker 1>Heck care uh. The information was discovered courtesy of a <v Speaker 1>data mind exchange between Nintendo and Nvidia, and with the <v Speaker 1>use of GAN technology, g AN sounds real. The charger <v Speaker 1>will be able to easily overpower it. Nintendo switched count upon, <v Speaker 1>I really don't care, but the charger don't care. Not <v Speaker 1>only that, but data from the manufacturer, Delta Electronics, alludes <v Speaker 1>to a new cooler, which may be smaller and go <v Speaker 1>alongside the one already present in the current consoles. You're <v Speaker 1>bought Where are you going? <v Speaker 2>Sorry? <v Speaker 4>Where? <v Speaker 2>Yep? Good? You're good? Perfect. We're getting a little buzz, <v Speaker 2>that's all. I Also, I looked up Luigi Board. <v Speaker 1>It's just when you're talking up. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, some people can hear it. Yeah. I looked up <v Speaker 2>Luigi Blood and uh. I found a website from someone <v Speaker 2>named Yakumo uh and it says I'm Yakumo aka Luigi <v Speaker 2>Blood in most places on the Internet. And it's a <v Speaker 2>weird website according to them. And I think they're just <v Speaker 2>like a rumor kind of person. <v Speaker 1>I know, yea, but some people addicted before that light <v Speaker 1>came true we talked about on the show. <v Speaker 2>For the life of me, I couldn't tell you. I'd <v Speaker 2>have to look through everything they posted on this weird <v Speaker 2>website it is, but I'm I can see it on <v Speaker 2>the other monitor. It it's like a whole whole thing. <v Speaker 2>I can send you the link if you want open it. <v Speaker 1>Okay, I think I should. <v Speaker 4>You're talking about Luigi Blood, I'll try to look it up. <v Speaker 1>With the Nintendo switch to reportedly featuring a n Video <v Speaker 1>T two three nine chip, eight gigabytes of RAM which <v Speaker 1>is not much RAM, no, sixty four gigabytes storage space, <v Speaker 1>and now a much improved battery and charging life. It's <v Speaker 1>shaping up to be I highlighted that like twenty minutes ago. <v Speaker 1>By the way, oh you know, it just happened. It's <v Speaker 1>shaping up to be a big improvement. Additionally, it's believed <v Speaker 1>games will be able to hit This is where it <v Speaker 1>lost me. Games will be able to hit an impressive <v Speaker 1>one hundred and twenty frames. No, that's definitely like maybe <v Speaker 1>the most indie of indie But yeah, thanks to the <v Speaker 1>handheld's display having a fresh rate of one hundred and <v Speaker 1>twenty herds. Now, as you just said, there is a <v Speaker 1>chance that the screen could have one hundred and twenty hertz, <v Speaker 1>which theooretically means a game could be displayed on it <v Speaker 1>at one hundred and twenty fps if the processor is <v Speaker 1>strong enough, if the internals are strong enough. Sure, the <v Speaker 1>screen having one hundred and twenty hurts is nice, And <v Speaker 1>as you said, maybe an indie game maybe like or <v Speaker 1>we could maybe get one hundred and twenty fps. But <v Speaker 1>even like even on Steam Deck and the rug ally X, <v Speaker 1>which have one hundred and twenty hurt screens, I load <v Speaker 1>up like a tunic on that and I think I <v Speaker 1>might have tried or I couldn't even get one hundred <v Speaker 1>and twenty, I could get like to one hundred and ten, <v Speaker 1>which is still obviously really good. But don't let's not <v Speaker 1>take that blanket statement as like what they said games <v Speaker 1>will be able to hit an impressive one hundred and <v Speaker 1>twenty fps. Nope, no they won't. <v Speaker 4>So is this the same? <v Speaker 8>Like I saw a leak a couple weeks ago, and <v Speaker 8>I didn't super look into it, but someone much smarter <v Speaker 8>than myself basically broke down some week specs and they <v Speaker 8>said it was slightly more powerful than a PlayStation four. <v Speaker 1>And so even to me, that sounds good of like <v Speaker 1>so that I've heard, and that I believe because it's <v Speaker 1>it's just a blanket statement. That's easy to believe because <v Speaker 1>what's the alternative because right now the switch is about <v Speaker 1>as powerful as on a three sixty. Yeah, right, So <v Speaker 1>if it's not more powerful, then at least a little <v Speaker 1>bit more than a PlayStation four, what are we doing? <v Speaker 4>Well? <v Speaker 2>I also feel like they're going. <v Speaker 8>I feel like maybe that's like one of those like <v Speaker 8>controlled leak marketing specs, because I feel like a lot <v Speaker 8>of people are still discussing the PlayStation four. Tetle games <v Speaker 8>are still coming to the PlayStation four. People still like <v Speaker 8>the PlayStation four. So if you just even sort of <v Speaker 8>leak out there like hey, this will be a PlayStation <v Speaker 8>four in your pocket with a good battery life, I <v Speaker 8>feel like ninety nine percent of people, even if they <v Speaker 8>weren't considering the switch before, that kind of will make <v Speaker 8>them be like, oh wait, that actually sounds great. I mean, yeah, yes, <v Speaker 8>four rang GTA five? Will this run gto fo? <v Speaker 1>Yeah exactly. I think the wordage might turn people off <v Speaker 1>because in your head, you're like, PlayStation four, we going back, <v Speaker 1>We're about to get to PS five pro Why am <v Speaker 1>I going to the PS four? <v Speaker 4>Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Well yeah, But I don't think we should compare it <v Speaker 1>that intensely to like an older console. It's more what <v Speaker 1>can you do with a handheld console made by Nintendo <v Speaker 1>that has the power that can compute that much? Because <v Speaker 1>on PlayStation four we got games like Last of Us, like, <v Speaker 1>we got a lot of really cool experiences. The Nintendo <v Speaker 1>is never going to be one step ahead. They're never <v Speaker 1>going to have the PlayStation six before PlayStation does like <v Speaker 1>we're not here for raw power, They're always going to <v Speaker 1>be a step behind in power. But can you imagine <v Speaker 1>a Zelda game built on a console that had the <v Speaker 1>power of the Last of Us. Right, that's what's exciting, <v Speaker 1>because now you have a really fun game that's more <v Speaker 1>fun than any other experiences most people are making in <v Speaker 1>the industry, but on a console that's able to do <v Speaker 1>a lot more. <v Speaker 8>I'm almost and I feel like this is like not <v Speaker 8>the point, but I almost feel like, man, it would <v Speaker 8>be cool if we get some sort of patch, if <v Speaker 8>we start to get summed into to switch games that <v Speaker 8>are getting boosted, because you know, that's one of the <v Speaker 8>things people were asking of, like Pokemon specifically, like a <v Speaker 8>performance patch if it ends up being even the power <v Speaker 8>of a PS four. I really love Tears of the Kingdom. <v Speaker 8>I randomly while I was traveling. I've been playing some <v Speaker 8>Tiers the Kingdom again. I still feel like I'm terrible <v Speaker 8>at that game. Everybody makes better creation sign but I <v Speaker 8>kept thinking, like, man, this game looks really good at <v Speaker 8>thirty FPS. <v Speaker 1>It looks really good at thirty FF. You ever seen <v Speaker 1>it like emulated like four K. <v Speaker 8>So I emulated it at sixty f's and four K <v Speaker 8>and I had to do all those patches and stuff <v Speaker 8>because all the items mess up. <v Speaker 1>Once you got it running good, Wow, it's day and night, <v Speaker 1>it's day and night. Yeah, that's that's the thing with <v Speaker 1>all of these games, like really any game, like even <v Speaker 1>you go back to like Watchdogs and you see like <v Speaker 1>the first trailer that you'd be seft put out. That <v Speaker 1>was probably how the game was designed. That's probably close <v Speaker 1>to what it looked like on their end, but once <v Speaker 1>they try and slam it onto a console that can <v Speaker 1>only handle so much processing power and visuals and all <v Speaker 1>of that, it ends up looking worse. And it's the <v Speaker 1>same with like, have you ever played like Smash Brothers <v Speaker 1>Brawl in full h No? <v Speaker 2>Wow? <v Speaker 1>I felt that would actually look great though. The first <v Speaker 1>time I ever did it, I was like, wow, the <v Speaker 1>details and all the characters and like I remember seeing <v Speaker 1>like Captain Falcon's belt and like the details in his belt, <v Speaker 1>and I was like, I never noticed that before playing <v Speaker 1>on my four eightyp we because everything gets crushed and <v Speaker 1>resolution gets crushed. So yeah, so your point, even playing <v Speaker 1>Teasy the King and Breath of the Wild on the <v Speaker 1>Switch too could be night and day difference. Oh yeah, well, <v Speaker 1>they just support it. I just I feel like to <v Speaker 1>loop back to your earlier point. <v Speaker 8>I'm just super curious, like you just said, Nintendo is <v Speaker 8>really good about making stuff that's fun and cool and <v Speaker 8>like really unique. I'm super curious, like you just said, <v Speaker 8>of like what they would do with a PS four <v Speaker 8>tool keg, like even that amount of capability, Like, man, <v Speaker 8>this I feel like I really like a lot of <v Speaker 8>the games that were released on the Switch, but a <v Speaker 8>lot of stuff like Adria Calamity ran so bad or <v Speaker 8>what it East ten ran at like thirteen ips or <v Speaker 8>something neither did I Well, I played it on I <v Speaker 8>think I played on Xbox Series X or PS four <v Speaker 8>and it ran really good, and so it said, are like, wow, <v Speaker 8>even a game like that that would be so much <v Speaker 8>better handheld. I'm like, man, I'm just super curious. Hopefully <v Speaker 8>these league spects are legit or close to legit, because that, <v Speaker 8>to me is all I need. <v Speaker 1>I mean those other than the one twenty fps embellishment, <v Speaker 1>I mean eight gigs a ram isn't much, you know, <v Speaker 1>stuff like that isn't much, So like that could be <v Speaker 1>real honestly for all we know. But yeah, we had <v Speaker 1>a conversation last week about a lot of developers that <v Speaker 1>kind of missed out on the Switch because they didn't <v Speaker 1>buy into it initially and then watched it get successful, <v Speaker 1>and then we're like, how the kind of missed a <v Speaker 1>boat on that are already looking at the switch too. <v Speaker 1>As far as bringing their games over. We hear about <v Speaker 1>like five point Sy seven remake might be come into <v Speaker 1>the Switch. It's probably it's apparently already up and running <v Speaker 1>on the Switch on like that it was demoed or something. <v Speaker 1>And then just third party devs and other companies looking <v Speaker 1>at making new experiences for switch, Like how we had <v Speaker 1>Octopath Traveler, which was Square Enix making a game for <v Speaker 1>the Switch. Other dev teams being like, we could make <v Speaker 1>it exclude for the console, because even with how successful <v Speaker 1>the Switch was, we didn't get many third party companies <v Speaker 1>making exclusive games for it. We had Actual Chain and <v Speaker 1>Octopath Traveler, and that's really all I can think of. <v Speaker 1>There was some exclusive content in Stallin, but then you <v Speaker 1>look over at PlayStation and Xbox. I mean, they have <v Speaker 1>all these companies making games for them, So it does <v Speaker 1>make sense. Companies didn't believe they should invest the time <v Speaker 1>for the Switch, saw the Switch be very successful, and <v Speaker 1>then thought we'll get them next time. <v Speaker 8>I almost think that if this delay is real or <v Speaker 8>you know, air quotes delay of it coming out summer <v Speaker 8>instead of Spring. I almost think part of it is <v Speaker 8>I made videos Gosh, I don't know how eight years ago. <v Speaker 1>Whenever the summer switch to would be awesome. <v Speaker 8>When the Switch first came out. I have videos that <v Speaker 8>are still pull my channel where I was really hating <v Speaker 8>on the Nintendo Switch originally because I thought the launch <v Speaker 8>lineup was so light, and I really thought like, Okay, <v Speaker 8>how many hours can I play Zelda? And I care <v Speaker 8>about Super BAM or Mine R and stuff like that. <v Speaker 8>But as we started to get all those indies, because <v Speaker 8>a lot of indie developers noticed the potential of it <v Speaker 8>and jumped on really early, and so we started get <v Speaker 8>Golf story and stuff really early. I almost think that <v Speaker 8>if they're bumping it, it's simply because maybe Nintendo's trying <v Speaker 8>to come out of the gate running and they're like, Okay, <v Speaker 8>this time around, let's make sure get as many dev <v Speaker 8>kids out there, get as many Triple A people interested. <v Speaker 8>If they are doing like a behind closed door demo <v Speaker 8>for FF seven remake, even if that ends up not <v Speaker 8>being released, it's like, okay, now let's really portray. <v Speaker 1>Anything you want to make will run on this. <v Speaker 8>I feel like it'd be crazy if they come out <v Speaker 8>with the Switch and it even has ten crazy big <v Speaker 8>launch games or fifteen that even that would be an <v Speaker 8>amazing first line up, especially after this year that's been <v Speaker 8>so light, Like we had two Switch games in twenty <v Speaker 8>twenty four and we have fifteen Switch two games in <v Speaker 8>twenty twenty five. <v Speaker 1>I think it's coming. I mean you think about even <v Speaker 1>the first year of the Switches launch. It took a <v Speaker 1>few months to get going after launch, but then we <v Speaker 1>got the Doom Port, the Skyrim Port, some other big <v Speaker 1>ports that I can't remember right now, and going in <v Speaker 1>a Switch too. With the null of how successful Switches, <v Speaker 1>there's going to be companies trying to get their games <v Speaker 1>in on the first year in that launch window where <v Speaker 1>people are just dying to play something new on the <v Speaker 1>console they just bought. But also for the next like <v Speaker 1>eight years they had like an og release on the console, <v Speaker 1>constantly making the money. <v Speaker 7>Oh yeah, really, it's going to be huge, all right, <v Speaker 7>if you wanted to By the way, if you wanted <v Speaker 7>to know what Luigi Blood. The only time we talked <v Speaker 7>about Luigi Blood was during the GameCube leak where remember <v Speaker 7>they made the patent. The Nintendo got the patent for <v Speaker 7>the GameCube controllers. Yeah, yeah, that's Luigi Blood posted about that, <v Speaker 7>so I couldn't find anything online, So technically he hasn't <v Speaker 7>had anything right, hasn't said anything yet. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, that's why I said going into this, like, <v Speaker 1>I don't necessarily believe or trust any of this, but <v Speaker 1>it's not just this podcast right now desperately talking about it. <v Speaker 1>I mean, you've seen shan on upload, You've seen talking <v Speaker 1>about these rumors. I'm not, well, I'm not going to <v Speaker 1>debunk them and then end up being like wrong because <v Speaker 1>some of them are pretty surface level, like obvious that <v Speaker 1>it's just what we already know what's gonna happen, But. <v Speaker 2>I don't the nature. The nature of the leaks that <v Speaker 2>I've seen this week also kind of contradict each other, <v Speaker 2>like like, well, I don't know if you wanted to <v Speaker 2>get into it yet, but I know that the two <v Speaker 2>things that I remember hearing this week was one, doc <v Speaker 2>is gonna have a fan on it to keep it like, <v Speaker 2>to keep it cool, right, and then the other thing <v Speaker 2>I think that was one of the right, But then <v Speaker 2>the other thing I heard was no, doc, it's just <v Speaker 2>gonna stream to your to your it's just gonna want <v Speaker 2>it's just gonna stream to your your who said that? <v Speaker 2>I remember seeing it in an article somewhere. It's gonna <v Speaker 2>do it like wirelessly. That's like something that I read somewhere. <v Speaker 1>Sense the switch is going to stream to the dock. <v Speaker 4>Okay, wait what about that? Thinking about this? What if? <v Speaker 7>What if it's like a home console and then we <v Speaker 7>use our switch like kind of like the PlayStation. <v Speaker 4>Portal. <v Speaker 1>No, I hate that's all right? Yeah, because no of it? No, yeah, no, <v Speaker 1>I mean, but I guess, I mean, give me any <v Speaker 1>reason why that's a good idea. <v Speaker 7>I'm not saying it's necessarily a good idea, but I'm <v Speaker 7>I don't know. I think that wouldn't we want this <v Speaker 7>power to be like a console, a home console sort <v Speaker 7>of situation. I feel like that's maybe the issue with <v Speaker 7>the switch is because. <v Speaker 1>We're in your example, you've just ruined the switch because <v Speaker 1>now you can't take it out of the house. You <v Speaker 1>can't go No, no, you can still play the switch. <v Speaker 4>You can still play. <v Speaker 1>Switch that it was like a PlayStation portal. <v Speaker 7>But you can use your old switch like a PlayStation <v Speaker 7>portal for your new Oh. <v Speaker 1>You can use your old switch. Do you have to <v Speaker 1>buy the new one? You have to buy the new <v Speaker 1>one so you can. So why you use the why <v Speaker 1>would you use the old one? <v Speaker 4>No? <v Speaker 1>No, no, I'm saying that the new This is just <v Speaker 1>my fear trying to figure out what it means. <v Speaker 4>But what I'm trying to. <v Speaker 7>Say is the new thing will be an at home <v Speaker 7>only thing, but if you want to play that on <v Speaker 7>the go, you can stream it with your old switch. <v Speaker 1>No, no, that's horrible. So you guys, you guys are <v Speaker 1>positive the next thing is going to be a portable. <v Speaker 1>I bet anything is going to bed percent positive? Is <v Speaker 1>it won't have streaming that? I'm one hundred percent positive. <v Speaker 8>I feel like anything in the world, anything in the world, <v Speaker 8>I feel like it'll be. If anything, I feel like <v Speaker 8>it could be a fully portable thing. I feel like <v Speaker 8>they may do away with the DOC and there'll just <v Speaker 8>be an HD port on it. <v Speaker 1>I also think no, but if they would go any direction, <v Speaker 1>it would be that one obviously. <v Speaker 8>Yeah yeah, yeah, but man, I just feel like portability. <v Speaker 8>Like I have talked to so many people when I <v Speaker 8>was first kind of hating on the Nintendo Switch, I <v Speaker 8>had a lot of very nice people kind of correct <v Speaker 8>me and educate me. And one of the main things <v Speaker 8>I heard people say is like soccer dads are people <v Speaker 8>that travel and stuff like that, be like this is <v Speaker 8>the only way I can game like. <v Speaker 1>That's portability is why it's sold one hundred million puppies, <v Speaker 1>because otherwise people just got a place in our xbox. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, uh. <v Speaker 1>The last thing I had here as far as like leaks, <v Speaker 1>which is leak hints at big Nintendo event happening soon. <v Speaker 1>And I think the leak is literally just some and <v Speaker 1>I'll read it, but I think it's literally just somebody <v Speaker 1>that said we've had a September Direct the last nine <v Speaker 1>years in a row. Not really a leak more than <v Speaker 1>an observation. But to be fair, true, m let me <v Speaker 1>read Nintendo what will be planning an indie showcase for <v Speaker 1>September twenty oh But that would not that would be unfortunate. <v Speaker 1>Another such show maybe on the horizon. According to journalist <v Speaker 1>Pedro Henny Henry Pedro, also known as Brazil, the whole place. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>theil mister Brazil talking to Family Boards. That's the second <v Speaker 1>time I've said that today. I think recently suggested that <v Speaker 1>a new Nintendo Direct will happen sooner rather than later. <v Speaker 1>He He also reiterated that his previous claim that an <v Speaker 1>Indie World showcase was planned for September twenty twenty four <v Speaker 1>for Reference Lippy, which is Pedro is the one who <v Speaker 1>broke the story of the Switch to Delay back broke <v Speaker 1>the story the Switch to Delay. Well, Nintendo never gave <v Speaker 1>us a release date. They've never said there's not been <v Speaker 1>delayed switch delay. Yeah, that's that's pretty such. Somebody at <v Speaker 1>some point said the switch was coming out, Nintendo did not, <v Speaker 1>and then somebody else at some point said it's not <v Speaker 1>coming out yet. That's not breaking the news of a <v Speaker 1>switch delay game rant. You're making me game ran, I <v Speaker 1>feel like there's no way this true. <v Speaker 8>I'm not sure if y'all have seen all the rumblings <v Speaker 8>that PlayStation is planning a really big showcase in September <v Speaker 8>that's going to reveal a bunch of games, and specifically <v Speaker 8>it's going to show the PlayStation five Pro. Like the <v Speaker 8>rumor sounds like they're going to show a bunch of <v Speaker 8>new stuff and kind of say here's what we're doing <v Speaker 8>in twenty twenty five. By the way, all this gameplay <v Speaker 8>has been being shown on the PlayStation five Pro, which. <v Speaker 1>You can buy this holiday. <v Speaker 8>The rumor is that they are trying to get the <v Speaker 8>PS five pro out, so you have, like, you know, <v Speaker 8>a whole year to buy it before the GTA six <v Speaker 8>comes out, and they're gonna maybe show a new GTA <v Speaker 8>six trailer whatever like that. That's what the rumblings are, <v Speaker 8>and I do think that if that's true, I do <v Speaker 8>think that people would kind of want to stay away <v Speaker 8>from that of that, you know, no offense to the <v Speaker 8>Nintendo or the Nindi's directs, which people do enjoy, but <v Speaker 8>I feel like a Nindi's direct right next to something <v Speaker 8>like that would kind of steal a lot of the <v Speaker 8>thunder and conversation because even if it's negative conversation, I <v Speaker 8>feel like a lot of the conversation around switch Pro <v Speaker 8>is just why does this need to exist? <v Speaker 1>And so I feel like you don't want to be <v Speaker 1>near an announcement like that. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I also feel like, again with those announcements, sometimes I <v Speaker 1>do help each other, I think because it's just the <v Speaker 1>algorithm around that time, like the whole E three concept <v Speaker 1>of like doing conferences around the same time. It's like <v Speaker 1>PlayStation and now there's also an indie direct we can check. <v Speaker 2>Out, which actually hate to interrupt, but when you hit <v Speaker 2>your mic, there's like a small buzz. <v Speaker 1>Now, so if you just like, sorry, really Gamerrant early messed, <v Speaker 1>you should go to Oh there it is. <v Speaker 4>It's when you touch it to the computer. Yeah, mory <v Speaker 4>from the computer. <v Speaker 2>Um. <v Speaker 1>It also goes on to say, even so, rumors of <v Speaker 1>this sort should always be taken with a degree of skepticism, <v Speaker 1>especially since Pedro's information about Nintendo events hasn't always been accurate. <v Speaker 1>Why are we here? Why are we writing this article? <v Speaker 1>Game Rant? We exist just to suffer e g. The <v Speaker 1>Leagua previously erroneously error error. It sounds like he made <v Speaker 1>an error. Yeah, okay, he erroneously, I am I saying <v Speaker 1>that right claimed that a Nintenda director was planned for <v Speaker 1>April twenty twenty four. He later apologized for rushing to <v Speaker 1>share that info prior to verifying it with more sources. <v Speaker 1>So this guy has gone on record being wrong about <v Speaker 1>a direct and being the guy that broke the story <v Speaker 1>that the switch to was going to get delayed past <v Speaker 1>the time everybody was just assuming it might come out cool. <v Speaker 8>Well, the true double down. If I press call uber, <v Speaker 8>it's gonna it says that there's a bunch of ubers <v Speaker 8>that are one minute away? Do you want to present <v Speaker 8>run out? <v Speaker 2>Do you want to do it? <v Speaker 4>Oh? <v Speaker 2>What's that time, isn't it? <v Speaker 3>Yeah? <v Speaker 2>What did you ask? <v Speaker 1>Do you want me to I can? <v Speaker 8>You said, maybe call an uber? It said we got <v Speaker 8>like ten minutes left maybe of the podcast or whatever. <v Speaker 8>But if I press an uber, it says there's a <v Speaker 8>bunch of in the area. Whenever I press, I can <v Speaker 8>get out. <v Speaker 1>I would get ready to stop saying yo goodbyes, because <v Speaker 1>we're going to go for another ten to fifteen at least. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>do I just say my goodbyes to camera and boost? <v Speaker 1>I don't want you to go, but I'm worried about <v Speaker 1>you missing. I appreciate I loved having you. It's been awesome. <v Speaker 8>I do you want to come back, especially man next <v Speaker 8>year at too many games or something. Let's talk before <v Speaker 8>I fly out? Yeah, chat, I'm so cheap. I always <v Speaker 8>had this problem where I booked my flights at really <v Speaker 8>opportune times. Would last time was trying to get me, <v Speaker 8>and he was even offering to pay I did. He <v Speaker 8>offered to pay for me to be on another flight, <v Speaker 8>but I was already at the airport. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, so I will be back, I promise. I <v Speaker 1>love being on. I appreciate having man. I want you <v Speaker 1>to come to my house too, Yes, I want to <v Speaker 1>do Yeah, let's do it next year. Okay, well, thanks <v Speaker 1>so much. We're gonna keep going with the episode guys, <v Speaker 1>but let's say good bye to Max dreamcast guy. Thank <v Speaker 1>you so much for joining us, and if you could <v Speaker 1>check out his Twitter, YouTube, YouTube mostly YouTube. Yeah yeah, <v Speaker 1>good to Daily News Blast yeah so yeah. <v Speaker 8>Monday through Friday, I'm pretty much talking about whatever the <v Speaker 8>hottest topic of it was, and lots of game reviews. <v Speaker 8>Even though it's been a lighter year, I got stuff <v Speaker 8>already cooking up, including that metaphor refund Tasio. I'm allowed <v Speaker 8>to talk about that at the end of the month. <v Speaker 8>So if you're into persona and you want to see <v Speaker 8>Lord of the Rings Persona, be sure to go subscribe <v Speaker 8>and go look at that and thank you nontendo cool people. <v Speaker 1>Max is very passionate about video games. Is also a <v Speaker 1>very sweet soul and one of the nicest people I've <v Speaker 1>met through YouTube, so I highly recommend checking out his content. <v Speaker 1>Kim's also a big fan. All right, give me a <v Speaker 1>hug and then get out of here and then I'm <v Speaker 1>gonna finish. <v Speaker 2>We'll get it on camera. <v Speaker 4>Yeah I could, I could show them up. All right. <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna keep talking just so there's no dead air, <v Speaker 1>even though I feel a little awkward because people are <v Speaker 1>leaving and I feel sad. Message me when you get <v Speaker 1>home safe, all right, and also when you get on <v Speaker 1>the plane, because I want to know. <v Speaker 2>Do you want to take Max to seat? Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Uh. This article just wraps up talking about what I <v Speaker 1>said where it's been nine years since a since we <v Speaker 1>haven't had a September direct. I will say that when <v Speaker 1>I saw all of these leaks, and all of them <v Speaker 1>may be roll my eye inside. When I saw the <v Speaker 1>direct one, I'm gonna look at you now, Kim, because <v Speaker 1>you're in the chap. You forget to hit the button <v Speaker 1>when you want to talk to When I saw the <v Speaker 1>direct one, I was like, oh, come on, guys, we <v Speaker 1>just had a direct. There's no shot. But actually I <v Speaker 1>think it's been a little a little bit. I think <v Speaker 1>it was what a much dear the wrong guy for <v Speaker 1>that information? When was the last direct chat? Either way? <v Speaker 1>When I saw that there hasn't we haven't missed a <v Speaker 1>September one in nine years, and I was like, well, <v Speaker 1>we might, we might, even if it's just an indie one, <v Speaker 1>you know, we might get one actually, so, but that <v Speaker 1>might be the only thing in here that I'm willing <v Speaker 1>to concede. Is is not really a leak or a rumor. <v Speaker 1>It's just a statistic and maybe, yeah, maybe we'll get <v Speaker 1>a direct next month. <v Speaker 2>June eighteenth, twenty twenty four. <v Speaker 1>June eighteenth is not your birthday. It's a day before <v Speaker 1>my birthday, right, Yeah, birthday is a special day. <v Speaker 2>It is a special day. I'm a special boy. You <v Speaker 2>are a specially very special Thank you. I appreciate that. <v Speaker 2>All right, Now, as I like to do here, you <v Speaker 2>still got a little buzz going on? Can you just <v Speaker 2>like yank that just you? Yeah, yeah, Max can do it, <v Speaker 2>just me. <v Speaker 1>It usually it does that when it's sat on power <v Speaker 1>cords or something. Let me, can you mute my mic <v Speaker 1>for a second? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I gotcha. I'll just I'll swap to me and <v Speaker 2>I can I can say hello to everybody. He's doing <v Speaker 2>great over there. They're replugging the mic. They're getting everything <v Speaker 2>sorted in order. All right, I'm putting your mic back. <v Speaker 1>Up, putting my back up. <v Speaker 4>Here we go. <v Speaker 2>It's still a little there, but it's it's not it's <v Speaker 2>not bad enough that like I don't think it's it's <v Speaker 2>not me then it's yeah, well it's something with the. <v Speaker 1>Maybe it's this cord. Maybe that's not supposed to be <v Speaker 1>that tied up. <v Speaker 3>Any of that. <v Speaker 2>Hell, a tiny little bit, a tiny little bit, it <v Speaker 2>did help. <v Speaker 1>Actually, is the buzzing bad? <v Speaker 4>It's not. <v Speaker 2>It was never that bad. <v Speaker 4>It's it's okay, it's probably affecting us the moment. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, uh sorry about that. I mean, what do you <v Speaker 1>want gamer pissed me off? <v Speaker 2>Uh well, now we just launt you completely. Yeah yeah yeah, <v Speaker 2>Ladies and gentlemen, do you want to are we swapping <v Speaker 2>the mic out? What a guy? Look at this dude? <v Speaker 2>All right, I'm gonna it's all. It's muted. It's muted. <v Speaker 2>You're good. This is what happens. <v Speaker 4>See. <v Speaker 2>Here's the thing though, like last last time, it's our podcast. <v Speaker 2>What oh yeah, here you can you can do it, <v Speaker 2>Max take the okay last time, last time we had <v Speaker 2>uh issues during the last pod when it was just <v Speaker 2>me and Wood in the in the basement and we <v Speaker 2>had like a good ten minute period. <v Speaker 4>Is the audio bad? <v Speaker 2>Yes? <v Speaker 4>Or now? <v Speaker 2>Yes? I don't know, do we believe the switch rumors? <v Speaker 2>What what I was gonna say is, like last week <v Speaker 2>when we were doing the pod and we had like <v Speaker 2>a ten minute period of like like just audio issues, <v Speaker 2>where like I just was using the wrong slider on <v Speaker 2>the on the the mixer, and I remember people in <v Speaker 2>the comments are actually really nice about it. They're just like, <v Speaker 2>you know, it makes it feel more real, And I <v Speaker 2>thought that was I thought that was nice. <v Speaker 1>All right, testing one two thing? Yep, way better, way better. <v Speaker 2>Way better. I think it's the mic. <v Speaker 1>All right, well, hopefully break my bob mic when I <v Speaker 1>got animated. <v Speaker 2>Can you at least maybe change the well not now obviously, <v Speaker 2>but maybe you could put the red thing on the <v Speaker 2>back of this one. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'll figure it out. Um, all right, Sorry about that, everybody. <v Speaker 1>There's a poll in chat do we believe the switch roomors? <v Speaker 1>I hate to have led the witness on this one, <v Speaker 1>but yeah, I think it's a phoney. I actually I <v Speaker 1>haven't watched Sean's videos or Spawn's videos or anything like that. <v Speaker 1>I don't know what they're saying about him. But I <v Speaker 1>did message Sean a couple of nights ago and I <v Speaker 1>was like, do we believe these switch roomors like and <v Speaker 1>he I think he let me see what he wrote exactly, <v Speaker 1>because I wanted to get the vibe before I went in, <v Speaker 1>because I I don't know anybody. I don't talk to anybody. <v Speaker 1>I don't have any inside in film. <v Speaker 2>Have the room. <v Speaker 7>That's what we're doing now right when the when the <v Speaker 7>switch was still like you know, hidden from the public. <v Speaker 7>Were any of those rumors true? <v Speaker 2>Are we over doing a phone call? Like just right now? <v Speaker 1>Well, you said call him, Yeah, he doesn't answer his phone. <v Speaker 2>I thought you're gonna text him. <v Speaker 1>No. <v Speaker 4>Have rumors ever been true? <v Speaker 1>Remember those like weird switch sketch ups that we saw right? <v Speaker 4>Yeah, like what's been true? Uh? <v Speaker 1>Anyway, as I was saying uh, I messaged Sean because <v Speaker 1>I don't I don't have contacts. I don't talk to <v Speaker 1>anybody in the industry. But they do I know does <v Speaker 1>so they usually get a good vibe when these leagues <v Speaker 1>come out. And I was like, hey, Sean, do we <v Speaker 1>believe any of these? And I think he just let <v Speaker 1>me see what he was going to say. I said, <v Speaker 1>do we believe any of these specs? And he said <v Speaker 1>pretty pretty low chance. I was like, okay, so he's <v Speaker 1>also not answering. So we'll bail on this, We'll bail <v Speaker 1>on all of that. The Paul also seventy three percent <v Speaker 1>people do not believe. <v Speaker 2>I mean, what do we now believe? <v Speaker 5>Though? <v Speaker 2>Like, do we not believe? <v Speaker 4>The pushback? <v Speaker 1>And nobody cares anymore? I don't care. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't care. <v Speaker 1>Like I I hate that I even put switch to <v Speaker 1>stuff in the title, like I hate that. I that <v Speaker 1>it's the conversation of the But it's the only thing <v Speaker 1>that I got. A couple other little fun things we <v Speaker 1>can talk about, and that was all that I found. <v Speaker 1>And that's all anyone's talking about right now. And what <v Speaker 1>am I gonna do? Ignore them? No? I could, I <v Speaker 1>guess you could. But here's the other news we got <v Speaker 1>to Zelda amibo restocked ahead of Echoes of Wisdom launch. <v Speaker 1>It's the links Amebo, the link Amebo from links Awakening <v Speaker 1>and the Zeldermeibo from Winwacer. They got restocked. So this <v Speaker 1>would imply that you can use ambos in the news <v Speaker 1>Elder game cool. <v Speaker 2>Does it imply that we're going to get any new ammos? Nope? <v Speaker 1>Okay, all right, next, So this is telling you this <v Speaker 1>is the this is the news I got. This is <v Speaker 1>what I got for the only other thing I found <v Speaker 1>and I had. And by the way, guys, if you <v Speaker 1>want to send news topics for the show and things <v Speaker 1>to talk about, we have a discord. It would help me. <v Speaker 1>Was man Cells ran Nintendo game for two hundred and <v Speaker 1>thirty thousand dollars to fund a future Pennsylvania store. There <v Speaker 1>you go, and I'm pretty sure that store is Lancaster. <v Speaker 7>Oh is it another graded fucking Maria? <v Speaker 1>Well, yeah, so this guy, uh, he actually owns or <v Speaker 1>I think works for or something just Play, just press play, <v Speaker 1>which they go to too many games actually, And I <v Speaker 1>met them either this year or last year, and they <v Speaker 1>handed me a sticker and they were like, you've got <v Speaker 1>to come out to our store. And when we went <v Speaker 1>to Schmaugas Border recently up in near Lancaster, I wanted <v Speaker 1>to go to their store, but it was like a <v Speaker 1>half an hour more out of the way, so I didn't. <v Speaker 1>Turns out that store is closed. Anyway, Are you in <v Speaker 1>a phone call? I'm live on the podcast. How are you? <v Speaker 9>I'm fine? <v Speaker 4>Hello? <v Speaker 2>Podcast? <v Speaker 1>This is a RGT from Game and Talk podcast the <v Speaker 1>Most Beautiful Red White Podcast around Town with the Way for. <v Speaker 2>Him, with the Way for them. <v Speaker 1>I was just telling everybody how we're talking about all <v Speaker 1>these switch to rumors and leaks, and I was like, <v Speaker 1>I messaged Sean to get his opinion, and then him <v Speaker 1>was like, you should just call him and get his opinion. <v Speaker 1>So what do you think of all these Switch two <v Speaker 1>leaks in room has gone around. <v Speaker 9>I think a lot of them are contradicting each other. <v Speaker 9>I think a lot of them are from sources that <v Speaker 9>aren't you know, don't have the best track record. <v Speaker 2>I think a lot of them are based on. <v Speaker 9>Previous things, you know, safe guesses and bets like yeah, <v Speaker 9>oh Assassin's Creed. <v Speaker 6>Switch too, Yeah, because Assassins C three and four other ones. <v Speaker 4>Came to your original switch. <v Speaker 3>Like, that's not a leak, that's an educated guess. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. <v Speaker 9>Everyone guessing about the time frame and stuff. <v Speaker 2>That's what they're doing. They're they're guessing. It's not to me, <v Speaker 2>it's not. <v Speaker 4>Based on real information. <v Speaker 9>It's more so based on how Nintendo handled the switch. <v Speaker 9>You know what, It was revealed in October fully and <v Speaker 9>then it came out in March, so people think it's <v Speaker 9>going to be something similar to that. But for me personally, <v Speaker 9>if I plenty on this, I say it comes out <v Speaker 9>later on in five. <v Speaker 3>Maybe closer to the fall. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing as well. My favorite <v Speaker 1>one out of all the leagues that I read on <v Speaker 1>today's show was a Game Rant article about a September <v Speaker 1>Direct and this guy what was his name, Roddy or something, <v Speaker 1>I can't remember. He he he apparently has leaked there's <v Speaker 1>going to be a September Direct and his information on <v Speaker 1>that is that there's been one for the last nine years, <v Speaker 1>so that's And then they said, please take take his <v Speaker 1>leak with a grain of salt because he also predicted <v Speaker 1>one for April this year and it didn't happen. Oh yeah, <v Speaker 1>yeah that guy, yes, yeah, yeah yeah. But then it said, however, <v Speaker 1>he was correct about the Nintendo predicting the Nintendo switch <v Speaker 1>to delay, And I'm like, what delay? They never announced it, <v Speaker 1>Like he what delay? <v Speaker 2>My philosophy. <v Speaker 3>Here's here's my friend. <v Speaker 9>This is something I always say because ninety percent of <v Speaker 9>this stuff happens on Sammy Boards. <v Speaker 1>Which is yeah, wait, that's come up a couple of times. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's a controlled website. <v Speaker 3>Most of the stuff you have to be a member <v Speaker 3>to see the posts. <v Speaker 9>Of it, meaning that you have to have an account there, <v Speaker 9>not that it costs money or whatever. But my my <v Speaker 9>mantra is this, If I have all this information, and <v Speaker 9>I have all this cool inside information, why are the <v Speaker 9>name of God? <v Speaker 2>Am I going to go to a message for him? <v Speaker 2>Four give away this information instead of. <v Speaker 1>Making my own content. <v Speaker 3>Doesn't have to be a video. You could do a <v Speaker 3>you could do podcasts, you could do bringing articles drive <v Speaker 3>traffic to your website. But no, just give all this <v Speaker 3>away for free because you're neurotic on of leaks. <v Speaker 2>Okay if that makes sense. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you know you're not wrong. Wouldn't you want to <v Speaker 1>get paid to like get it leaked to a reputable Yeah? <v Speaker 1>When when don't you want to like sell the information? <v Speaker 1>I just tweeted myself and just become a guy. <v Speaker 2>Right Like, I don't. <v Speaker 3>I don't, I don't get the whole go to a <v Speaker 3>message for talking about what's so many conflicting things have <v Speaker 3>come out like the scene and then wait, it's it's <v Speaker 3>gonna be talkless and you'll just transferred to your TV <v Speaker 3>like a freaking Google thing. <v Speaker 1>I didn't even see that. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, if you go go on, I'd say the best. <v Speaker 5>Place to get everything summarized to see because you could <v Speaker 5>do it chronologically is the reddit gaming Leaks and Rumors reddit, <v Speaker 5>because they just post pretty much anything there. <v Speaker 9>Because like a Saturday I talked about four different stories <v Speaker 9>and then the other day I made a video about it, <v Speaker 9>I think Shoesday maybe yesterday, and it was four more <v Speaker 9>different stories and just. <v Speaker 3>Reading them and being like, let's talk with people, why <v Speaker 3>do we. <v Speaker 2>Think this is so factual? <v Speaker 1>Who's Luigi Blood? Uh? <v Speaker 6>So Luigi's He's all right, you know, I don't I <v Speaker 6>don't hate him as far as his reporting and stuff <v Speaker 6>is concerned, but he kind of does mingle in places that. <v Speaker 1>I find to be kind of odd that someone who would. <v Speaker 3>Know all this stuff would. <v Speaker 9>Associate with certain people who just kind of regurgitate anything. <v Speaker 4>M hm. <v Speaker 5>So that that kind of that kind of made me <v Speaker 5>a little bit leery about what he actually does. <v Speaker 1>Do you think all these people that just making crap up? <v Speaker 2>I mean, what's the old saying throwing at the wall. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's how I feel. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I found this article about the switch to doc on <v Speaker 1>gamingle So I'm gonna give this a read now. But thanks, <v Speaker 1>I appreciate it. That's that was actually insightful. Thank you, <v Speaker 1>No problem, all right, I'll talk to you later. <v Speaker 2>But what I will say is that this week of Lee, <v Speaker 2>they were so unreputable from what so when I looked <v Speaker 2>into them that I didn't even bother putting them in <v Speaker 2>our group chat. <v Speaker 1>Yeah no, I know, I honestly, and I mean this wholeheartedly. <v Speaker 1>I tried to make it clear in the thumbnail and <v Speaker 1>title that I am also exhausted of this and I <v Speaker 1>wish I wasn't here, but yeah, me too. I looked <v Speaker 1>at all of them and rolled my eyes and I <v Speaker 1>was like, all right, here we go again. It's just <v Speaker 1>more of the same. So here's the one that Sean <v Speaker 1>was talking about. Switch too much stream to TV without DOC, <v Speaker 1>and I guess it's coming from this family boards place. <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna have to learn about whatever that is. <v Speaker 2>He's got to do something to these family boards guys. <v Speaker 7>No, okay, so without DOC, but does it have like <v Speaker 7>it has to have like an HDMI plan. <v Speaker 1>Users Pablo and Raccoon h sod Switch too could allow <v Speaker 1>streaming gameplay directly to your TV without needing to dock <v Speaker 1>the console, hence the previous news about fans in it. <v Speaker 1>Similar to airplay or chrome cast, that DOC would be <v Speaker 1>used as a wireless receptor receive it recept. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but they said it wrong. <v Speaker 1>Okay, this could bring back the dual screen features we <v Speaker 1>saw on the WIU while keeping the hybrid expect potentially <v Speaker 1>opening up possibilities for DS three D is compatible. You <v Speaker 1>know what, I don't hate it. <v Speaker 2>I kind of hate it. I just because I hate <v Speaker 2>the fact that that it does anything similar to what <v Speaker 2>the we you did because the WU was so bad, <v Speaker 2>or just it made. <v Speaker 1>Is bad for different reasons, right, No, And. <v Speaker 2>I understand that. But the thing is, though, when branding <v Speaker 2>is bad, you don't want to go back to bad branding, right. <v Speaker 1>But it just depends on how they brand it, because essentially, <v Speaker 1>if they're saying, hey, we're releasing the switch to it's <v Speaker 1>going to be the switch again, but this time you <v Speaker 1>don't need the DOC. The TV will just do it <v Speaker 1>for you. <v Speaker 2>I guess as long as they don't call it the <v Speaker 2>switch you. <v Speaker 1>Right, No, Yeah, I mean, honestly, that's pretty handy if <v Speaker 1>you can eliminate I mean, you're eliminating plastic waste, you're <v Speaker 1>eliminating even needing to have something sat next to your TV. <v Speaker 1>And it makes it a lot easier for travel too, <v Speaker 1>where like if you go to home makes it, you <v Speaker 1>know exactly. Yeah, there's definitely advantages here. I mean, as <v Speaker 1>long as it casts well, which we're not. I mean, <v Speaker 1>I don't think we're talking. I think there's difference between <v Speaker 1>streaming over Wi Fi to a server somewhere, running the <v Speaker 1>game in a different country direct link, yeah, as opposed <v Speaker 1>to you airplaying or chrome casting in your own house, <v Speaker 1>something that's running off of a console that's designed to <v Speaker 1>do that exact thing. <v Speaker 2>And we know that it's possible too, because remember I <v Speaker 2>gave you that or I linked to you and you <v Speaker 2>bought that wireless HDMI transmitter thing that's got a one <v Speaker 2>millisecond response time. Yeah, yeah, so and I use it <v Speaker 2>in my apartment too, like a wireless like it's called <v Speaker 2>a Nyrius Pro like wireless HDMI system, and like if <v Speaker 2>it was just built basically like that, I think we <v Speaker 2>just talked ourselves into liking this idea. <v Speaker 1>I kind of do like it. I'm not gonna lie, <v Speaker 1>And don't get me wrong, I still think this is crap. <v Speaker 1>I don't believe. I think this is someone's just making <v Speaker 1>a theory. But if we're to actually buy into this <v Speaker 1>theory and actually think about it, it's not a bad <v Speaker 1>idea and concept, and you know, you try and think <v Speaker 1>about what Nintendo can do to make the Switch to <v Speaker 1>stand out and be different and to have its own <v Speaker 1>new gimmicks and its own new features and removing the <v Speaker 1>DOC but still being able to play on a TV. <v Speaker 1>I mean it also, as they said, does reintroduce the <v Speaker 1>concept of being able to do a DS game where <v Speaker 1>you have one on the tablet that you can now <v Speaker 1>hold while it streams the rest to your TV. We <v Speaker 1>are in the future of streaming. It's not a bad <v Speaker 1>idea and it actually would open up a lot of doors. <v Speaker 1>And it also wouldn't be the issue with the we <v Speaker 1>you is you had to have that setup, but you <v Speaker 1>wouldn't have to have this setup here. It's just an <v Speaker 1>option for certain things, like developers can still just design <v Speaker 1>a game for the Switch, just to design a game <v Speaker 1>for the one screen. So it is not a bad <v Speaker 1>little theory. But after today I am sourd on this <v Speaker 1>family boards thing, and I don't know if I want <v Speaker 1>to let's do a. <v Speaker 2>Poll for would we like this yeah doc or no doc? <v Speaker 1>Doc or no doc? <v Speaker 2>That is the question. <v Speaker 1>Well, we like streaming, like in the way of like <v Speaker 1>Chrome cast and airplany and don't don't think about it <v Speaker 1>like Stadier. It's different, right, you know what I mean. <v Speaker 1>I'm not sure to see what the vibe is out there. <v Speaker 1>I'm I'm down. If Nintendo does it, it means it works, <v Speaker 1>That's my opinion. If Nintendo does it, it means it's <v Speaker 1>tested and it at least works functionally. <v Speaker 2>I guess. But I'll tell you one thing I have <v Speaker 2>precisely zero interest in. Like I like the idea of <v Speaker 2>it being like a wireless thing, right, but then it <v Speaker 2>kind of begs the question, like what happens if you <v Speaker 2>don't want to use the second screen, but you still <v Speaker 2>want to play on your TV and you just want <v Speaker 2>to play like you're holding a like a regular controller <v Speaker 2>you cannot have to. <v Speaker 1>Hold to control it to it and you put it. <v Speaker 1>But then maybe it has somewhere it probably has like <v Speaker 1>a charge, a charge something that. <v Speaker 2>But at that point, if there was a dock for <v Speaker 2>charging them, why wouldn't you just dock it to the <v Speaker 2>TV at that point? <v Speaker 1>You know, I think just be you are right, but <v Speaker 1>I think it just opens up more avenues if you <v Speaker 1>if you can do it the old way or there's <v Speaker 1>a new way where you can still use it while <v Speaker 1>you're playing on the TV. Yeah, it would also and <v Speaker 1>for a lot of people be more affordable because you <v Speaker 1>could use it. Well, no, because you could just use <v Speaker 1>joy couns. Anyway, I was going to say it eliminates. <v Speaker 2>We're just talking about it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm speculating. I'm trying. I'm trying to find ways <v Speaker 1>that this works. <v Speaker 2>We're not. We're not. We're not the creative minds over <v Speaker 2>it family Nintendo. <v Speaker 7>We're getting so hyped and Nintendo is just going to <v Speaker 7>release a switch excel. <v Speaker 4>Is that's what's going to happen? <v Speaker 2>Does yes mean yes? Doc? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? This might this might be a bad poll. <v Speaker 4>What's wrong with the pole? <v Speaker 1>You guys want a doc for switch to I don't <v Speaker 1>really know what that means. <v Speaker 4>They want to doc? <v Speaker 2>Yes, yeah, it's the same as what we were asking, <v Speaker 2>kind of just phrase differently. Oh sure yeah doctor, no doc. <v Speaker 1>Do you guys understand the pole? <v Speaker 4>Did you understand the previou? Should Max still have a job? <v Speaker 2>It's it's about it's you know, it's high time somebody <v Speaker 2>else can do a. <v Speaker 1>Poll for Was the last poll a bad poll? <v Speaker 2>I need to know? <v Speaker 1>Well, well, it's overwhelmingly yes, but of course everyone wants <v Speaker 1>a doc. That's not what I wanted to know. <v Speaker 2>I want a doc. <v Speaker 1>I just want my doctor. I just would be open <v Speaker 1>to my doc being able to stream. <v Speaker 2>We're getting into bonus episode style banter right now, which <v Speaker 2>is a great segue into promoting the Patreon and talking <v Speaker 2>about what's about to happen over there. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, we are about to end this after this pole, <v Speaker 1>I think, and I'm going to dive straight into the Patreon, <v Speaker 1>which we have a very fun episode plan with another <v Speaker 1>ten list do we. <v Speaker 2>I'd love to do one so you see, we can <v Speaker 2>put together. <v Speaker 1>After every single main episode we've ever done, we've done <v Speaker 1>a bonus episode. And I don't really know what the <v Speaker 1>toe type total is at this point, maybe like one <v Speaker 1>hundred and ten bonus episodes. Obviously, if you've never seen <v Speaker 1>any the first like eighty or with Bob so if <v Speaker 1>you have nostalgia for those old days, there's a lot <v Speaker 1>of episodes that you haven't seen. And even there's about <v Speaker 1>twenty or thirty new ones with all of our guests <v Speaker 1>that we had just me and him at my house. <v Speaker 1>All kinds, all kinds, I agree, What was the best <v Speaker 1>last Pope had? <v Speaker 4>Yes? <v Speaker 1>No, leave Max alone? But it's like out the gate, <v Speaker 1>it was fifty to fifty little confused, little some people <v Speaker 1>working out on by side. Sixty percent is not a <v Speaker 1>lot of people. I mean it's a majority. <v Speaker 4>That's good enough. <v Speaker 1>It was a confusing poll for a good portion of people. <v Speaker 2>We've got the updated Patreon scrolls, so these are all <v Speaker 2>of our our what is it twenty dollars patrons? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's the twenties on this one. <v Speaker 2>Or huh, keep an eye out. She must be right. <v Speaker 4>Where's Liz? Oh? Liz is on that? <v Speaker 1>She's on that for sure. She was like one of <v Speaker 1>the first names. Guys. We had so much fun today. <v Speaker 1>Thanks for talking about these rumors and bearing with us <v Speaker 1>while we talk about the rumors, because I know they're <v Speaker 1>not super fun for everybody, but we try and make <v Speaker 1>it fun and hopefully next week there'll be some more <v Speaker 1>good stuff to talk about. If you're listening or watching <v Speaker 1>the show, can you like leave a comment all of that. <v Speaker 1>Make sure to check out dreamcast guys stuff too. And <v Speaker 1>thanks to him for joining us most of the episode. <v Speaker 1>Thank you Kim for driving in with me today. It <v Speaker 1>means a lot to me. She's going to talk more <v Speaker 1>on the Bonus episode. <v Speaker 2>I promise. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, we'll see And thanks Hamm and Max for helping <v Speaker 1>me throw this together. And thank you guys that were <v Speaker 1>here alive because we went life two hours earlier because <v Speaker 1>of Max's flight. Sorry to shock you with that. Next <v Speaker 1>week we'll be back to three pm again and that's everything. <v Speaker 2>We may love you. <v Speaker 1>I see you guys next week.
