A Bigfoot Encounter From The Show Me State Of Missouri (The Missouri River) Monkey Mountain

<v Speaker 1>and she had a bigfoot encounter near the Missouri River
<v Speaker 1>one day when she was driving in her vehicle. Janet
<v Speaker 1>knows without a doubt that this was a sasquatch creature
<v Speaker 1>and it's changed her life since this experience. The bigfoot
<v Speaker 1>encounter did take place near Monkey Mountain and there are
<v Speaker 1>a lot of bigfoot reports from that area. If you

<v Speaker 1>bigfoot encounter from the state of Missouri here on Sasquatch Theory.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Janet, welcome to Sasquatch Theory. How are you
<v Speaker 1>doing today.
<v Speaker 2>I'm doing good. How are you?
<v Speaker 1>I'm doing really good? Thank you so much for asking Janet. Janet,
<v Speaker 1>if you would tell me a little bit about yourself,
<v Speaker 1>kind of where you're from and your bigfoot encounters and
<v Speaker 1>experiences from the very beginning, please.
<v Speaker 2>All right. It happened in June of twenty fifteen. I
<v Speaker 2>was walking down by the Missouri River here in Kansas City.
<v Speaker 2>There's a place called River Market, and there's a side
<v Speaker 2>street that goes off to the side that you can
<v Speaker 2>walk down and cut across another street called Front Street
<v Speaker 2>to go into Berkeley's Park to go down to the river.
<v Speaker 2>And walking down there to go down to the river
<v Speaker 2>to said enjoy the breeze. It was hot. It was
<v Speaker 2>in June, around five o'clock in the evening. I was
<v Speaker 2>walking along, just enjoying the view, and something just told
<v Speaker 2>me to look up. And when I looked up, I
<v Speaker 2>seen this white petal. I guess you could call it
<v Speaker 2>a creature, bigfoot, whatever you want to call it. It
<v Speaker 2>took three strides across the road that I was walking
<v Speaker 2>down and pushed some tree limbs out of the way
<v Speaker 2>and went through these trees and disappeared. The hair on
<v Speaker 2>it was probably reddish brown, almost a dark color. You
<v Speaker 2>could see stuff matted in its bur It wasn't very long,
<v Speaker 2>The arms were longer down close to its knees. The
<v Speaker 2>head was on its shoulders. It didn't have like a
<v Speaker 2>neck and it kind of breaked me out. It stopped
<v Speaker 2>me did my tracks because I really didn't realize what
<v Speaker 2>I was looking at until later on that evening, and
<v Speaker 2>it bothered me, and it bothered me so bad that
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't sleep for three or four days. I did.
<v Speaker 2>I decided to get online to see if I could
<v Speaker 2>find what exactly what I seen, to make sure I
<v Speaker 2>seen what I seen. And when I looked at pictures,
<v Speaker 2>I was like, yes, definitely, that has to be a
<v Speaker 2>big foot that I see. And it wasn't much of
<v Speaker 2>an encounter. It was just three strides across the road
<v Speaker 2>and he was gone. And I never did see where
<v Speaker 2>he went past that treeline and it was a railroad
<v Speaker 2>track that he had to cross, and and after that,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know where he went. The only thing I
<v Speaker 2>could think of was it was a wooded area that
<v Speaker 2>he came out of and he had to have stopped
<v Speaker 2>maybe to eat the rest during that day and was
<v Speaker 2>getting back out there go towards the river to get
<v Speaker 2>away from the people that was down there in that area.
<v Speaker 2>So that's not all of my encounter, all right, Janet.
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate you for sharing that with me, And that
<v Speaker 1>sounds like a really exciting encounter that you had there.
<v Speaker 1>And a lot of reports are of these creatures crossing
<v Speaker 1>the road, and I think it's whenever they step into
<v Speaker 1>our world that people see them, whether it's them crossing
<v Speaker 1>the road or someone seeing them off a trail or
<v Speaker 1>a power line strip, whatever it may be. It's really
<v Speaker 1>difficult just to walk out in the woods and find
<v Speaker 1>these things. Typically they mess up and people see them.
<v Speaker 1>But I find it interesting that this creature was by
<v Speaker 1>the river and the railroad tracks. Were those railroad tracks
<v Speaker 1>active or are they old and unused anymore?
<v Speaker 2>They're active, okay. And there's a power line that runs
<v Speaker 2>down through there by the railroad track as well. So
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if he didn't seem like he was
<v Speaker 2>traveling by the railroad or the power line, but he
<v Speaker 2>was cutting across them like he was going towards the
<v Speaker 2>river just as fast as he could book it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, these roadside encounters are fascinating. And you said he
<v Speaker 1>was coming out of timber. What direction was he going
<v Speaker 1>and was he heading towards farmland or deeper woods towards
<v Speaker 1>the river?
<v Speaker 2>He was going towards the river. He was headed north
<v Speaker 2>because the river is north from that street that I
<v Speaker 2>was walking down, and he had to go to it,
<v Speaker 2>he had to go through Berkeley's Park. There is some
<v Speaker 2>trees down there at Berkeley's Park, but it's not a
<v Speaker 2>thick tree line. It's basically a road trees per shade,
<v Speaker 2>and that's it. And then there's a sidewalk right next
<v Speaker 2>to the river where everybody walks. It's kind of like
<v Speaker 2>a park where everybody walks to get exercise, and it
<v Speaker 2>is where they have a lot of events down there.
<v Speaker 2>And that's the only thing I could think of was
<v Speaker 2>he was trying to get to that, get in that
<v Speaker 2>water and go and maybe float down the river until
<v Speaker 2>he found a more secluded place to get out of
<v Speaker 2>because it's a pretty open area down there in Berkeley's Park. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely. And I had my encounter one of my encounters
<v Speaker 1>in twenty nineteen and it was in June. And it
<v Speaker 1>seems like these creatures always head towards the water whenever
<v Speaker 1>they get caught or they're coming from that direction. So
<v Speaker 1>I do believe they follow the waterways and that's possibly
<v Speaker 1>what this creature was doing.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I don't know if I don't know if he's
<v Speaker 2>seen me, but he could have before I noticed him,
<v Speaker 2>and maybe that's the reason why he picked up these
<v Speaker 2>beat and got to move in so quick, because I
<v Speaker 2>guess he seemed to think that I'd done spotted y.
<v Speaker 2>It's funny how they know those things, you know. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>how intelligent these creatures really are.
<v Speaker 1>Did the creature ever look over at you?
<v Speaker 2>No, and not that I know, unless he happened to
<v Speaker 2>look at me before I'd looked up and seen him.
<v Speaker 2>That's the only thing I can think of that he
<v Speaker 2>might have seen me then. But he was more worried
<v Speaker 2>about getting out of that area and getting towards that
<v Speaker 2>water than he was anything else.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, he was. He had a mission, That's what it
<v Speaker 1>sounds like. He was focused, fixated on what he was doing,
<v Speaker 1>and he was going to get it done.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So what color did you say this creature was?
<v Speaker 2>He was a reddish brown, almost a dark brown. Closer
<v Speaker 2>to the skin of him was darker, and the tips
<v Speaker 2>of it was more of a reddish brown from word
<v Speaker 2>like the sun had bleached its spurroun. And it was
<v Speaker 2>probably two three inches long, and you could see the debris,
<v Speaker 2>the leaves and the twigs and its hair. I probably
<v Speaker 2>was maybe seventy five fifty yards away from it, and
<v Speaker 2>that was about as close as I wanted to get
<v Speaker 2>with it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Did the hair look madded or was
<v Speaker 1>it pretty clean looking?
<v Speaker 2>It was matted, like I said, it had leaves and
<v Speaker 2>twigs and its hair like it had just come out
<v Speaker 2>of the woods and was laying on the ground.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Maybe I got up from a nap and it
<v Speaker 1>was feeding time. He was thirsty.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, could have been very well. Some people my family
<v Speaker 2>believes me, but when I told other people that kind
<v Speaker 2>of looked at me like, oh, you're kind of crazy,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm like, no, I know what I saw. And
<v Speaker 2>like I said, I couldn't late for several days after that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it'll really blow your mind. And whenever you see
<v Speaker 1>one of these things, that's all you think about, and
<v Speaker 1>it's hard to come to terms with what you encountered.
<v Speaker 1>But you're going to get flat from other people, and
<v Speaker 1>you know they'll say, oh, that was a bear, you
<v Speaker 1>saw a homeless person. But when you see one of
<v Speaker 1>these things, you know without a doubt what it was
<v Speaker 1>and there's nothing that's ever going to change that.
<v Speaker 2>Well, it was about seven and a half eight foot tall,
<v Speaker 2>so I knew it wasn't no human. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Did it have a conical shaped head or was it round?
<v Speaker 2>It was round? Sorry, yeah, Okay.
<v Speaker 1>Do you feel like there were other ones around?
<v Speaker 2>I don't think there was anything around at the time,
<v Speaker 2>because all I seen was one and that was enough.
<v Speaker 2>He could have very been well traveling with one of
<v Speaker 2>them another one, but I think he was alone.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Makes me wonder if they were crossing the road
<v Speaker 1>and you just happen to catch the one.
<v Speaker 2>Could have very well been you know, could have been
<v Speaker 2>a male and a female or two males. But like
<v Speaker 2>I said, all I seen was one.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and you said this was around five o'clock.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, it was between five and six o'clock that evening,
<v Speaker 2>and I bet the temperature was like ninety three ninety
<v Speaker 2>four at that time, So it was really hot that
<v Speaker 2>evening for being June.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's pretty hot that time of year, and typically
<v Speaker 1>it starts cooling down right around five o'clock. Still warm
<v Speaker 1>during that time of year, but it starts getting really
<v Speaker 1>hot by like one, two o'clock, three o'clock, four o'clock,
<v Speaker 1>and then once you get the five it starts taping
<v Speaker 1>down a little bit. So maybe he found the opportunity
<v Speaker 1>to start moving around and it was feeding time.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I might have been going down there to the
<v Speaker 2>river to get some fish.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely. What do you think these creatures are? Where
<v Speaker 1>do you think they came from?
<v Speaker 2>Personally? I think neplin, I think they are. I think
<v Speaker 2>they're plessh and blood. I think they can go either way.
<v Speaker 2>I think they can probably be Translutan would need to
<v Speaker 2>be transparent, I mean. And but when they want to
<v Speaker 2>be pleasing blood, I think they're pleasing blood. I don't
<v Speaker 2>believe in I mean, I believe in aliends, but I
<v Speaker 2>don't know what the connection is with them. I mean
<v Speaker 2>I didn't see no lights or UFOs the night before
<v Speaker 2>or anything like that, even in the previous or the
<v Speaker 2>the days after. So, yeah, the Native Americans, the Native
<v Speaker 2>Americans believed in them, which I have apatche in Blackboot
<v Speaker 2>Native American heritage to me, So I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>that has anything to do with a c in them
<v Speaker 2>as much. It seems like a lot of people that
<v Speaker 2>have the Native American heritage seems to see these people
<v Speaker 2>a little bit more than most people. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And the location that this encounter happened in, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if you want to mention it exactly. You told
<v Speaker 1>me off air, But I've taken reports from that same
<v Speaker 1>area and there seems to be a lot of experiences
<v Speaker 1>and I don't know, it's hard to say if there's
<v Speaker 1>something going on there.
<v Speaker 2>It was down off of First Street, and that was
<v Speaker 2>east of River Market. Right down that River Market was
<v Speaker 2>one of the first boat docks that was put there
<v Speaker 2>when Kansas City was being built. That's where Kansas City started,
<v Speaker 2>was right there off of the river, right where that
<v Speaker 2>River Market is. Okay, So it's got a lot of
<v Speaker 2>bloodshed on that on that land. I'm sure there's Native
<v Speaker 2>American burial plots down there as well. A lot of
<v Speaker 2>people go miss him down in that area when they
<v Speaker 2>go for a walk down there at that river. It's
<v Speaker 2>not a real good place for just a single person
<v Speaker 2>to be roaming around, especially at night. I've always walked
<v Speaker 2>with somebody down there at night.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and I've taken a similar report whenever I first
<v Speaker 1>started the channel. Did we talk before?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? Okay, yeah, I remember, Yeah, you didn't have me
<v Speaker 2>record it. I ended up being nervous because it's not
<v Speaker 2>something that I talk about every day.
<v Speaker 1>So okay, yeah, no, I understand completely, and I'm glad
<v Speaker 1>that he took time to think about it, and you
<v Speaker 1>decided to reach back out to me.
<v Speaker 2>I am too. I need to get it off my
<v Speaker 2>chest and get it reported so people know that to
<v Speaker 2>be to be on the lookout for these things.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Typically people think, oh, if these things do exist
<v Speaker 1>in Missouri, they're going to be deep in the Ozarkics,
<v Speaker 1>maybe in the Mark Twain National Forest. But I take
<v Speaker 1>a lot of reports from Saint Louis County, from Kansas City,
<v Speaker 1>the Springfield area by Columbia, and Jefferson City, so these
<v Speaker 1>things are all over the place.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I lived in Jefferson City for a short time.
<v Speaker 2>I had a lot of friends out in the that
<v Speaker 2>lived out in the country of j Just City, and
<v Speaker 2>I had a friend that I used to go out
<v Speaker 2>and see. He lived in a camper, and it didn't
<v Speaker 2>matter what time of day it was out there, there
<v Speaker 2>was never any birds, there was never any insects. It
<v Speaker 2>was just dead quiet all the time around his camper.
<v Speaker 2>And I did not care about that, so I stayed
<v Speaker 2>away from his camper as much. I stopped and picking
<v Speaker 2>him up and taking work and then dropping him off,
<v Speaker 2>and then I'd leave because I just felt so eerie
<v Speaker 2>out there where he was at.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, definitely. I certainly feel like there's a lot more
<v Speaker 1>people with encounters that don't want to talk about it
<v Speaker 1>with anyone, especially like a podcast or a TV show,
<v Speaker 1>than people that I've actually reported their ey sightings.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, So what are your future plans with the US?
<v Speaker 1>What are you going to do to deal with this better?
<v Speaker 2>Well, I'm going to start my own little research and
<v Speaker 2>go from there and take it day by day and
<v Speaker 2>learn other people's stories and see if I can learn anything.
<v Speaker 2>I'm just I like to learn new things, so it'd
<v Speaker 2>be interesting what I come up with during this research
<v Speaker 2>and what happens.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely. And what kind of gear are you going
<v Speaker 1>to take out there?
<v Speaker 2>I've got a camera recorder with three to two gigabytes coming,
<v Speaker 2>I've got night vision ordered with a gigabyte card, UH
<v Speaker 2>power bank, all the little camping gear. And I have
<v Speaker 2>a friend that he's going to go with me out there.
<v Speaker 2>He'll be packing the gun that he owns just for
<v Speaker 2>feral people, because I do believe that there's a lot
<v Speaker 2>of feral people out here in this world and they
<v Speaker 2>like to live in the woods and walk the trails
<v Speaker 2>and see what I can discover.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's the best place to start. And I'm glad
<v Speaker 1>you mentioned the camp quorder. If you talk to a
<v Speaker 1>lot of researchers, they'll tell you bring an audio recorder
<v Speaker 1>and bring some thermal, which that's really good. You know,
<v Speaker 1>it's good to have that if you can afford it.
<v Speaker 1>But a camcorder that's the best way to go, just
<v Speaker 1>because a cell phone camera isn't going to do justice,
<v Speaker 1>a GoPro isn't going to do anything for you unless
<v Speaker 1>it's just right up, like within feet of you. But
<v Speaker 1>a camquarder you can zoom in. It has a good
<v Speaker 1>audio recorder, a good mic on it, and it's just
<v Speaker 1>easy to use. I mean they're pretty small nowadays and
<v Speaker 1>it's like the size of like a soda can. So
<v Speaker 1>I think that's the best way to go because you
<v Speaker 1>got audio and video with it. And you know, if
<v Speaker 1>you record these things on audio, no one's gonna believe
<v Speaker 1>that that would not came from a bigfoot just because
<v Speaker 1>a person could have done it. But like, if you
<v Speaker 1>see this thing again, you're gonna be kicking yourself in
<v Speaker 1>the butt if you if you only get audio of it,
<v Speaker 1>and you know you could have easily filmed it with
<v Speaker 1>a with a camera. So I'm glad you mentioned that,
<v Speaker 1>and that's the best way to go.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I've got a recorder one of the Olympus seven twenties. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I got it over top of eBay. It should be
<v Speaker 2>coming any day.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's a good one because it has the self
<v Speaker 1>timer ond there. It will turn on automatically and shut
<v Speaker 1>off on its own and you can just leave it
<v Speaker 1>out in the field.
<v Speaker 2>Yep. Yeah, ask what I'm playing on doing.
<v Speaker 1>Good deal. And when you get out there, look for
<v Speaker 1>tree structures, the glyphs, anything that looks unusual. Definitely look
<v Speaker 1>for tracks and just listen, just I don't know, be
<v Speaker 1>focused on the woods with all the little noises because
<v Speaker 1>a lot of times you may think it's like a
<v Speaker 1>bird or a squirrel out there rustling in the leaves,
<v Speaker 1>but you never know if it's one of these things
<v Speaker 1>sneaking up on you, and you just have to be
<v Speaker 1>aware of that because they're really sneaky.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, I think it's gonna be an interesting thing.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, And if you encounter anything, definitely contact contact
<v Speaker 1>me and let me know. And I don't know, I'll
<v Speaker 1>try to put together like a camping trip sometime in
<v Speaker 1>the future, maybe like a conference, and if that does happen,
<v Speaker 1>I'll certainly contact you and let you know.
<v Speaker 2>That'll work, because I think I don't know how many
<v Speaker 2>other people are going to go out there. They're going
<v Speaker 2>to wait till it gets a little bit cooler. SHO,
<v Speaker 2>don't have to deal with the bugs.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's pretty brutal.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, bugs don't bother me too much. I've been out
<v Speaker 2>in the country all my life, so I've been out
<v Speaker 2>in the woods. I've always went fishing and hiking, and
<v Speaker 2>so bugs don't bother me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's just something you have to deal with. For me,
<v Speaker 1>it's a combination of everything. Whenever you're out there, the
<v Speaker 1>brutal heat, the humidity, getting spiders and spiders in your face,
<v Speaker 1>and at the same time there's mosquitoes swarming around you,
<v Speaker 1>and as you're walking through the grass and the foliage,
<v Speaker 1>you're picking up all these seatecks and it's just like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my gosh, that's brutal.
<v Speaker 2>Yep, yeah it is.
<v Speaker 1>No, Well that's MISERI for you. Just use some bug
<v Speaker 1>spray and be aware of your surroundings and you should
<v Speaker 1>be all right.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, yeah, I've been I was drilled in the
<v Speaker 2>head about being with the surroundings. My dad taught us
<v Speaker 2>that growing up, always to pay attention to our surroundings.
<v Speaker 2>It was just a vital instinct that he wanted us
<v Speaker 2>to us to know being girls. You know, my sister,
<v Speaker 2>like I told you, my sister had an encounter. We
<v Speaker 2>were driving to go see my grandparents in Kansas, and
<v Speaker 2>I was little at the time. I didn't even know
<v Speaker 2>she had seen one and it was floating in the
<v Speaker 2>Missouri River and she never told nobody. She didn't know
<v Speaker 2>what it was, but she's seen it in the river.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, that's amazing. I've heard encounters personally of people
<v Speaker 1>seeing these things in the water and they swim like
<v Speaker 1>gators or they'll just shoot up out of the water.
<v Speaker 1>And I think they're able to use the terrain to
<v Speaker 1>their advantage. And they're certainly masters of the woods that
<v Speaker 1>they are.
<v Speaker 2>They have to if they wanted to stay away from people.
<v Speaker 2>You know, and almost every national forest place we've got
<v Speaker 2>here in the United States is pretty much shut off.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, the real wooded areas are all fenced in
<v Speaker 2>because they had sightings and the government's trying to keep
<v Speaker 2>them out of there. And so I know, the government
<v Speaker 2>knows that they exist.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, without a doubt. All the best places where
<v Speaker 1>there's been I sightings, it's like illegal to use a drone,
<v Speaker 1>you're not allowed to film, and you can't be in
<v Speaker 1>there past ten There's just so many rules, and it's like,
<v Speaker 1>I wonder why they have all these rules placed in
<v Speaker 1>the areas where people have seen sasquatch. It has to
<v Speaker 1>be for that reason, and deeper things that we don't
<v Speaker 1>know about or understand.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Absolutely, And the military bases after they've seen them,
<v Speaker 2>so a lot more people in the military come out
<v Speaker 2>and talked about these things.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, for sure. I've noticed there's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>activity around on military bases, and a lot of military
<v Speaker 1>bases like to build their forts around national forests, so
<v Speaker 1>it's a perfect place for them.
<v Speaker 2>Mm. They know what's going on, and it's part what
<v Speaker 2>they're doing is keeping an eye on them.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, very well. Could be. Okay, do you have
<v Speaker 1>any more experiences that you'd like to share with me?
<v Speaker 2>Uh No, that's it so far. And like I said,
<v Speaker 2>when I get out there and I do some investigation,
<v Speaker 2>if I find interesting things, I'll make sure I upload

<v Speaker 1>Whenever I had my first bigfoot encounter, and I knew
<v Speaker 1>without a doubt that it was a sasquatch, I didn't
<v Speaker 1>know what to think. My mind was blank whenever I
<v Speaker 1>was looking at the creature, and I was just amazed
<v Speaker 1>because my brain could not find a place to file
<v Speaker 1>the encounter. I was just like, what am I looking at?
<v Speaker 1>What is this? And at the same time, I knew
<v Speaker 1>without a doubt it was a sasquatch because there could
<v Speaker 1>be nothing else in the forest that is that big.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, it'll really change you, and it will change
