Ep:196 Strange Sightings Along Indiana Rivers

<v Speaker 1>If you go back through history, but hundreds of years ago,
<v Speaker 1>the Miami settled here, and then the Delaware settled just
<v Speaker 1>to the south, and then we had the Potawatomy up north.
<v Speaker 1>All of these areas had different tribes and not always
<v Speaker 1>did they get along. They started to fight about the
<v Speaker 1>river system because they believe that seven Pillars, which for
<v Speaker 1>anyone listening, you can look up seven Pillars Miami County, Indiana.
<v Speaker 1>This is their sacred area. There are rock formations along
<v Speaker 1>the river bank, and they believed that this was their
<v Speaker 1>spiritual highway. Basically, the river system was where how the
<v Speaker 1>spirits traveled through here. Their ancestors, their spirits, they guided
<v Speaker 1>them through here along the river system, seeing they knew
<v Speaker 1>something about the area. And then in eighteen twelve the
<v Speaker 1>army came in and forced them all out west and
<v Speaker 1>now all those lands are under government control. Not to
<v Speaker 1>sound like a conspiracy person, but I find it strange
<v Speaker 1>that areas that have a lot of mysticism to them
<v Speaker 1>are owned by the government. Is there some correlation that
<v Speaker 1>thing about like state parks, federal park talk about all
<v Speaker 1>the high stranges that goes on in these sorts of areas.
<v Speaker 1>Is there a specific reason as to why these parks
<v Speaker 1>are owned by a government and not individuals.
<v Speaker 2>Well, this is it. This is the last episode of
<v Speaker 2>Bigfoot Crossroads that I'm going to record in twenty twenty five.
<v Speaker 2>It's the end of the year. It's been one hell
<v Speaker 2>of a run looking forward to twenty twenty six. But
<v Speaker 2>I looked back and I noticed that the first episode
<v Speaker 2>I did this year was actually with the guys over
<v Speaker 2>at Bigfoot Club podcast, my friends Bob and Steve, and
<v Speaker 2>so I thought, bring it full circle and bookend it
<v Speaker 2>with another friendship show. This man needs no introduction, but
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to give him one anyway, Mister Brandon Wright
<v Speaker 2>of the Ten Foiltels podcast.
<v Speaker 1>Applause Please Are the applause done? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>I think, well no, there they are again. Okay, hang on,
<v Speaker 2>all right, Brandon, what's up man? Not much it's going
<v Speaker 2>on here. Oh, you know, just getting ready for the holidays,
<v Speaker 2>Christmas in particular. It's already here. That's pretty crazy. I
<v Speaker 2>can't believe it. The year's already over.
<v Speaker 1>It does seem like the years went faster than most
<v Speaker 1>years have been flying by.
<v Speaker 2>Did you accomplish everything this year that you set out
<v Speaker 2>to do?
<v Speaker 1>Does anyone ever really accomplish anything they always set out
<v Speaker 1>to do.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely not.
<v Speaker 1>Then that is your answer for me.
<v Speaker 2>So I noticed that you released the trailer teaser for
<v Speaker 2>your upcoming documentary.
<v Speaker 1>How's that going a lot of hiccups here and there
<v Speaker 1>and learning on the fly, because for anyone that's not
<v Speaker 1>familiar with what I'm doing, I am not a person
<v Speaker 1>that does documentaries. This is all DIY, So it's learning
<v Speaker 1>as I go. And we had an accident where half
<v Speaker 1>of the footage was erased and we could not recover it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but luckily I have the other half because we were
<v Speaker 1>using two different video recorders, so I've managed to salvage
<v Speaker 1>half of what was recorded. But I still have hours
<v Speaker 1>upon hours of footage to sort through. But I did
<v Speaker 1>recently put together a about a twelve minute long sneak
<v Speaker 1>peek at a lot of the stuff that's been filmed,
<v Speaker 1>and there still a few more things that I have
<v Speaker 1>to film, And honestly, some stuff just popped up here
<v Speaker 1>within the last week that I'm gonna have to get
<v Speaker 1>out there and start filming too. So there's quite a
<v Speaker 1>bit of stuff going on with it. What year was
<v Speaker 1>your encounter, two thousand and seven, So after that happened.
<v Speaker 2>We just talked a little bit about this today, so
<v Speaker 2>I wanted to talk about it while you're on here.
<v Speaker 2>You saw something, your citing is one of those situations.
<v Speaker 2>I've actually spoken to somebody else about this recently, about
<v Speaker 2>how every now and then, as a podcaster or just
<v Speaker 2>a person involved in the community, you get to know
<v Speaker 2>people and it goes beyond just oh, this was a
<v Speaker 2>witness I talked to or interviewed or whatever, and you
<v Speaker 2>and I have become friends. We talked pretty much daily,
<v Speaker 2>and you are one of those people that I've gotten
<v Speaker 2>to know over time to the extent where I can
<v Speaker 2>confidently say you are not lying, and you are not exaggerating,
<v Speaker 2>and you are not unsure of what you witnessed other
<v Speaker 2>than you have no idea what it actually was. Do
<v Speaker 2>you see it as two separate events or do you
<v Speaker 2>see it all as one thing.
<v Speaker 1>I go back and forth because I still don't exactly
<v Speaker 1>know if it was all connected or if it's all
<v Speaker 1>just random. But I feel like it was somehow all
<v Speaker 1>the same. The first two things had to have been
<v Speaker 1>the same thing. The mouse part, I don't know, but
<v Speaker 1>it's still also weird.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I keep on thinking more and more about it,
<v Speaker 2>and we haven't really talked about this that much. I'm
<v Speaker 2>not going to have you rehash the whole story because
<v Speaker 2>you've been on numerous podcasts, including this one, talking about it.
<v Speaker 1>But the movement.
<v Speaker 2>That you described as kind of glitchy, right, that's something
<v Speaker 2>that comes up every now and then in witness descriptions
<v Speaker 2>of not just dog Man, but Bigfoot and other cryptids.
<v Speaker 2>Can you kind of describe what that first thing looked like?
<v Speaker 1>Again, it was a large black shape and it looked
<v Speaker 1>like a person wrapped in a big black blanket or
<v Speaker 1>something like that. Because I didn't see arms or a head.
<v Speaker 1>I just seen it looked like a large torso and
<v Speaker 1>legs moving. But it was leaning forward, and every time
<v Speaker 1>it would take a step, its body would like flail,
<v Speaker 1>like it was coming in and out, like it didn't
<v Speaker 1>look natural, like everything about the movements of it didn't
<v Speaker 1>look like something that should be moving the way it
<v Speaker 1>was moving. I actually recently spoke to someone on my
<v Speaker 1>show and he described seeing something very similar, and he
<v Speaker 1>said the movement looked like something one was fast forwarding
<v Speaker 1>a video and like a scene of it was missing,
<v Speaker 1>so the thing would be here, then it would skip
<v Speaker 1>to the next little spot, like when with its movements,
<v Speaker 1>like it wasn't fluid, like it was naturally like clitching
<v Speaker 1>and clipping. I've never heard anyone describe it that way before,
<v Speaker 1>but that sounds very similar to what I was talking about.
<v Speaker 2>Sort of like that horror movie effect.
<v Speaker 1>I guess that's more like a the modern creepy ghost
<v Speaker 1>type twitchy vibe thing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but like I think they used it in thirteen
<v Speaker 2>Ghosts and like the nurse in Silent Hill maybe moved
<v Speaker 2>around kind of like that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'll let you talk about that. That is true.
<v Speaker 2>So after your sighting, your encounter or whatever, what kind
<v Speaker 2>of research did you do, Like I assume you just
<v Speaker 2>eventually made your way to the internet looking up stuff.
<v Speaker 2>We talked a little bit about it earlier today. You
<v Speaker 2>were talking about a website that you hit up. What
<v Speaker 2>sort of things did you look for and what did
<v Speaker 2>you find?
<v Speaker 1>Well, as we talked about earlier, I used to get
<v Speaker 1>on websites anyways, back in the old dial up day,
<v Speaker 1>so it took five minutes for one page to loud.
<v Speaker 1>But I used to look up stuff for sea monsters
<v Speaker 1>because I was always a big interest in mine was
<v Speaker 1>like Locknest Monster, and I did look up Bigfoot stuff,
<v Speaker 1>but this was long before it was like popular in
<v Speaker 1>the mainstream, which is not really mainstream now, but you
<v Speaker 1>know what I mean. And I went to a website,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't remember if i'd come across the website
<v Speaker 1>at this point, or maybe it was one of the
<v Speaker 1>ones i'd been to before, but I started looking up
<v Speaker 1>stuff for like werewolves and monsters, and they had like
<v Speaker 1>a forum, and I remember I made a post because
<v Speaker 1>I drew this picture, and that's what we were talking
<v Speaker 1>about earlier. I wish I could find the picture that
<v Speaker 1>I drew because that's the one that I took to
<v Speaker 1>work with me too, and I posted the picture on there.
<v Speaker 1>And that's the first time anyone ever said dog man
<v Speaker 1>to me, because even though I was familiar with certain
<v Speaker 1>things cryptid wise, like Bigfoot and the Dover Demon and
<v Speaker 1>the whatever else out there that was popular for me
<v Speaker 1>to come across, I never heard of dog man. I
<v Speaker 1>was thinking werewolf and the Michigan dog Man stuff popped up,
<v Speaker 1>and then I took that photo that I drew to work,
<v Speaker 1>and that's when all the issues at work started and
<v Speaker 1>the photo got thrown away. The picture that I drew,
<v Speaker 1>but I wish I could find it, because this was
<v Speaker 1>again like the first my first memory of whatever this
<v Speaker 1>thing was. And I drew it yea, which I'm not
<v Speaker 1>an artist by any means, but I sketched what I
<v Speaker 1>saw and I posted it online and I searched through
<v Speaker 1>this forum today. I went all the way back through
<v Speaker 1>the years and I never found that post. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if I actually posted it to that website.
<v Speaker 1>It could have been something else. That's been nineteen years
<v Speaker 1>at this point.
<v Speaker 2>There was a kid that I talked to. This is
<v Speaker 2>way back in the day. It was just like a
<v Speaker 2>chance encounter thing. I was on the phone with a
<v Speaker 2>colleague of mine, her son and one of his friends.
<v Speaker 2>A couple of his friends were like camping on their property.
<v Speaker 2>They had like a huge wooded acreage in East Texas,
<v Speaker 2>and they got ran out of their campsite and on
<v Speaker 2>the way back to the house, this kid saw something
<v Speaker 2>up close, like a few feet away from him, and
<v Speaker 2>he came home, came busting in. They were all freaking out.
<v Speaker 2>He's like crying. I think he was like eighteen at
<v Speaker 2>the time, and she stuck him on the phone with
<v Speaker 2>me to have him tell me what happened. And this
<v Speaker 2>is literally like five minutes after it happened, and he's
<v Speaker 2>describing everything to me, and he just kept on repeating,
<v Speaker 2>bigfoot aren't supposed to look like that, And I asked him,
<v Speaker 2>you know, what, what do you mean? And he said, like,
<v Speaker 2>I've never seen a bigfoot or anything, but I know
<v Speaker 2>people you know that say they have, and I never
<v Speaker 2>pictured them like this. It didn't look like what I
<v Speaker 2>thought bigfoot would look like. So I had him draw it,
<v Speaker 2>and she took a photo of it and sent it
<v Speaker 2>to me, emailed it to me, and the kid basically
<v Speaker 2>drew what I would describe as a were wolf. Like
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, this will probably date me a little bit,
<v Speaker 2>but cors Light used to do this marketing thing called
<v Speaker 2>the beer Wolf, and his drawing was very similar to
<v Speaker 2>what the beer Wolf looked like, like a giant, thick
<v Speaker 2>werewolf type thing. And he kept on talking about its
<v Speaker 2>snout and the hair being caked back on the snout.
<v Speaker 2>And I asked him, I said, what do you mean
<v Speaker 2>by snell? Are you talking like a pig snout? He's like, no,
<v Speaker 2>not like a pig, more like a dog. So I
<v Speaker 2>started sending them pictures of dogs, different kinds of dogs,
<v Speaker 2>and he said it was kind of boxy, and it
<v Speaker 2>was mostly shaped like more like a pit bull type
<v Speaker 2>muzzle than a German shepherd or a Doberman or anything
<v Speaker 2>like that. And I ended up just kind of going
<v Speaker 2>through my mind of you know, what animals have muzzles
<v Speaker 2>and stounts and everything, and eventually I sent him a
<v Speaker 2>picture of a baboon, not like a mandrel, but like
<v Speaker 2>a baboon that has hair on its muzzle and everything,
<v Speaker 2>and he said, yeah, that's it, that's what it had.
<v Speaker 1>But that was my first ever interview.
<v Speaker 2>I guess you would call it just with a direct
<v Speaker 2>dog man witness of any kind, but back then we
<v Speaker 2>just called him stounded bigfoot or muzzled bigfoot. We didn't
<v Speaker 2>even think about dog man or canine because werewolves can't
<v Speaker 2>be real, right, But in certain areas, including yours, apparently
<v Speaker 2>they get seen them on a pretty much regular basis.
<v Speaker 2>Do you remember the first time that you heard other
<v Speaker 2>stories from your area? It was off of Vic's show,
<v Speaker 2>And I never for anyone listening. I don't listen to
<v Speaker 2>a whole lot of podcasts, especially now that I do one,
<v Speaker 2>and I wasn't really familiar with the show that much
<v Speaker 2>because I just never had heard that show, but someone
<v Speaker 2>had sent me a message with a link to this
<v Speaker 2>episode because it was in my area. And that is
<v Speaker 2>the first time that I had heard of anyone else
<v Speaker 2>having an encounter in Peru other than obviously what happened
<v Speaker 2>with me. But there were some things I was going
<v Speaker 2>to bring up a little bit ago that with my encounter.
<v Speaker 2>There's been some stuff that has went on that is
<v Speaker 2>kind of made me start thinking things a little differently.
<v Speaker 2>So when I had this sighting, the first thing didn't
<v Speaker 2>have a head, and then we come back and it
<v Speaker 2>looks like a canine. Now, since I've started doing this podcast,
<v Speaker 2>there's been people that have reached out to me that
<v Speaker 2>have talked about specific things that they've seen around here.
<v Speaker 2>This one specific spot. We were just driving through here
<v Speaker 2>the other day, and this is where they have deer hunting.
<v Speaker 2>Like this specific area, they have deers around the area,
<v Speaker 2>and maybe this is just me thinking out loud, but
<v Speaker 2>they breed those deers to get very large, and they've
<v Speaker 2>had celebrities that come in there and hunt. There's been
<v Speaker 2>country stars like Luke Bryant's been in there, Brooks and
<v Speaker 2>Dunn of hunted in there, so the guy that owns it,
<v Speaker 2>like they know they're getting these big rack, big giant
<v Speaker 2>bucks when they go in there. They pay money to
<v Speaker 2>go hunting in there. Now, is it possible whatever they're
<v Speaker 2>using to make these deers larger? Is it too far
<v Speaker 2>fetched to think that maybe something else could have been
<v Speaker 2>getting larger from the area. If this thing was just
<v Speaker 2>a normal animal, that that too woo woo for you.
<v Speaker 2>I mean it kind of makes sense, you know, because
<v Speaker 2>we know that like certain chemicals that animals ingest can
<v Speaker 2>be in turn ingested by predators preying on those animals.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, that's why they got rid of like DDT,
<v Speaker 2>because you know, the eagles were dying from it or whatever.
<v Speaker 2>So like the idea of somehow whether it be from
<v Speaker 2>praying on the animals themselves or maybe getting into some
<v Speaker 2>sort of chemical or feet, I don't really know, you know,
<v Speaker 2>how they're doing it. I know there's selective breeding network,
<v Speaker 2>but like, yeah, I don't like those guided hunts like
<v Speaker 2>that where they're making these big, huge, bolt up beefy
<v Speaker 2>trophy bucks. You know, it stands to reason that it
<v Speaker 2>might happen the owner of the property actually had been
<v Speaker 2>arrested for allowing hunting out of season, and he was
<v Speaker 2>also bringing in deer from over state lines, and apparently
<v Speaker 2>that's against the law. So anyone familiar with the area
<v Speaker 2>can look that up. Like it's not just me talking,
<v Speaker 2>it's literally been stuff that's happened. He served time in
<v Speaker 2>prison for the whole deer thing he does, and he
<v Speaker 2>still allows hunting now it's just done legally. But you
<v Speaker 2>can go in there and view the deers, and some
<v Speaker 2>of these deers as racks are massive. The deers himself
<v Speaker 2>are massive. And we were literally driving by it a
<v Speaker 2>few days ago and my wife had mentioned something about
<v Speaker 2>the deer in there, and I got thinking about because
<v Speaker 2>she said, how big those deer are. It's like, I've
<v Speaker 2>spoken with someone that used to work in there, and
<v Speaker 2>he mentioned that he used to go out and drive
<v Speaker 2>around like looking to take care of the deer and
<v Speaker 2>everything when they're out wandering around, and he said he
<v Speaker 2>saw something in there that always creeped him out. It
<v Speaker 2>was really large and black, but he thought it may
<v Speaker 2>have been a deer, but he never got a good
<v Speaker 2>look at it. So he said when he heard me
<v Speaker 2>talking about this, it brought back that memory of what
<v Speaker 2>was out there in.
<v Speaker 1>The woods that one day when he's seen it. So
<v Speaker 1>if there was something already out in the woods and
<v Speaker 1>it's eating these deer or eating whatever the deer's being fed,
<v Speaker 1>just say it was a natural predator, Like it could
<v Speaker 1>have been a large black canine or a large black
<v Speaker 1>We don't typically have wolves here, but who's to say
<v Speaker 1>that something wasn't living in these woods that was also
<v Speaker 1>eating the same thing and also grew larger than normal.
<v Speaker 2>And to add on to that, the area is known
<v Speaker 2>for a long history of some sort of Native American
<v Speaker 2>spiritual sacred type.
<v Speaker 1>Land, isn't it. Yeah, that's that's the other part of
<v Speaker 1>this is we are in Miami County, named after the
<v Speaker 1>Miami Indians that used to live here, and a lot
<v Speaker 1>of this land was their sacred land. And if you
<v Speaker 1>don't go too far from where I had my encounter,
<v Speaker 1>just a few miles down the rivers, you will come
<v Speaker 1>across Seven Pillars, which is one of their sacred sites
<v Speaker 1>that they up until even today is still considered one
<v Speaker 1>of their sacred areas, and they own the land and
<v Speaker 1>you're not allowed to go out there.
<v Speaker 2>And I've heard that like these dog man type creatures.
<v Speaker 2>Some people believe they are sort of like guardians or
<v Speaker 2>watchdogs of sacred Native American sites, and that it's all
<v Speaker 2>tied into that of American witchcraft and things of that nature.
<v Speaker 1>We actually, when we were out doing the interview, we
<v Speaker 1>had someone take us out to Seven Pillars so we
<v Speaker 1>could actually go out there and film a little bit.
<v Speaker 1>So anyone that watches the trailer, like within the first
<v Speaker 1>ten seconds, you'll see seven Pillars in there, because I
<v Speaker 1>threw that in there. And you can hear him talking
<v Speaker 1>about how the ancestors used to say this was one
<v Speaker 1>of their spots, and he mentioned that they used to
<v Speaker 1>have ceremonies there and they used to think it was
<v Speaker 1>mystical and had like be able to have like portals
<v Speaker 1>between this world and the other world. Well, for anyone
<v Speaker 1>that knows about this dog man stuff, there's all sorts
<v Speaker 1>of stories and lore about dog man and portals, which
<v Speaker 1>again I can't confirm or deny because I've never personally
<v Speaker 1>seen a portal, but that tends to tie in with
<v Speaker 1>a lot of dog Man lore. Now, if you go
<v Speaker 1>into this area where Seven Pillars is just right down
<v Speaker 1>that river that has been multiple sightings of bipedal canines.
<v Speaker 1>So does that tie into the whole thing that he
<v Speaker 1>was talking about?
<v Speaker 2>So how did you reach the decision to actually put
<v Speaker 2>together this documentary.
<v Speaker 1>Because I want answers. As we've said before, this is
<v Speaker 1>going on nineteen years, and the more I've been looking
<v Speaker 1>into it, the more people have reached out to me
<v Speaker 1>and everything about it, Like, there was so much other
<v Speaker 1>strange activity around here that had made me want to
<v Speaker 1>look even further, and I thought maybe the best way
<v Speaker 1>of trying to get people aware of it rather than
<v Speaker 1>just doing a podcast that no one really around here can.
<v Speaker 1>You don't see the people, you're not involved with the people, Like,
<v Speaker 1>maybe if I did something that they could actually watch
<v Speaker 1>and see, it would actually help present more credibility to
<v Speaker 1>the eyewitnesses because think about how many people have experiences
<v Speaker 1>but they're not like they don't talk about it because
<v Speaker 1>they're afraid to talk about it. You can't go around
<v Speaker 1>and tell someone you've seen a werewolf and they're going
<v Speaker 1>to look at you and not think you're crazy. Trust me,
<v Speaker 1>I've experienced this myself. You hold that in. So let's
<v Speaker 1>just say Joe from down the road saw something and
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't want to talk about it because he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>want everyone else thinking he's a lunatic, so he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>talk about it. But then he hears other people talking
<v Speaker 1>about it, then they may step up and say, hey, man,
<v Speaker 1>you know what I saw something too, which I can
<v Speaker 1>confirm has happened, because the more I've talked about it,
<v Speaker 1>people have come up to me personally and told me
<v Speaker 1>about what happened to them, and some of the stuff
<v Speaker 1>we haven't even talked about on an episode because it's
<v Speaker 1>happened since the last time we spoke on an episode.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I mean your actual first initial sighting of the thing.
<v Speaker 2>There was actually a second witness that you worked with
<v Speaker 2>who didn't want to have anything to do with it, right.
<v Speaker 1>I have actually tracked him down on the internet and
<v Speaker 1>I have been contemplating reaching out to him to see
<v Speaker 1>if he would be interested in being involved with this documentary.
<v Speaker 1>But because I know how he reacted the first time,
<v Speaker 1>I'm still hesitant to say, hey man, look, I'm doing this.
<v Speaker 1>Do you want to tell them what we saw? But
<v Speaker 1>he is so bent on there was just a normal
<v Speaker 1>dog that I can include his interview. I don't care
<v Speaker 1>about that. He can think what he wants, but to me,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think it was just a normal dog. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>he pulled off to the side of the road, he
<v Speaker 1>went back with you. He was freaked out. You know,
<v Speaker 1>that doesn't sound like a couple guys that just saw
<v Speaker 1>a dog in the road exactly. Whether he wants to
<v Speaker 1>acknowledge that or admit to that or not, we didn't
<v Speaker 1>just see a normal dog, like unless the thing in
<v Speaker 1>the road was the normal dog to him, And the
<v Speaker 1>first thing we saw that was walking on two legs
<v Speaker 1>at the time was the dog. And explain to me
<v Speaker 1>how that dog was walking in the road. Dogs don't
<v Speaker 1>walk on two legs.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I don't blame him or any other witness, right,
<v Speaker 2>you've really I went through it. You still go through
<v Speaker 2>it of trying to explain it away, you know, give
<v Speaker 2>it a rational explanation that maybe it was just you know,
<v Speaker 2>many times you've said yourself, maybe it was just a
<v Speaker 2>dog that got hit by a car that caused it
<v Speaker 2>to walk on its legs for some reason. Uh So, Obviously,
<v Speaker 2>in our line of work, we want witnesses to come
<v Speaker 2>forward and share their stories, and part of that is
<v Speaker 2>accepting what they encountered and talking about it and explaining,
<v Speaker 2>which is extremely difficult to do. But a lot of people,
<v Speaker 2>I'm sure, spend their lives just trying to convince themselves.
<v Speaker 2>You know, it wasn't a bigfoot, it was just a bear.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't a dog man, it was just a big dog.
<v Speaker 2>I completely understand that, especially in an area like you
<v Speaker 2>live in that's kind of more small town rule where
<v Speaker 2>everybody knows everyone. You know, somebody gets drunk at a
<v Speaker 2>party and starts getting a little loose at the mouth,
<v Speaker 2>and now, well, there's one time I saw this. You know,
<v Speaker 2>the next thing you know, you're getting fired from your job.
<v Speaker 1>Right. That's one of the big concerns I've always had,
<v Speaker 1>is when it comes to my work or anything like that,
<v Speaker 1>like considering some of the things that I have to
<v Speaker 1>do on a career basis, talking about some of this
<v Speaker 1>stuff is one of those things I've always been hesitant
<v Speaker 1>about because I don't want people looking at me like,
<v Speaker 1>what's wrong with this guy? Can we really trust him?
<v Speaker 1>But it's gotten to the point now where there's people
<v Speaker 1>from my work that actually listen to the podcast. So
<v Speaker 1>at this point I don't even I just embrace it.
<v Speaker 1>I drive around with tenfoil tail stickers on my vehicles.
<v Speaker 2>So after you started looking into this stuff on a
<v Speaker 2>local level, did you notice any patterns?
<v Speaker 1>For me, not at first until I started to really
<v Speaker 1>dig into it, and that required me to actually bring
<v Speaker 1>up a map and start looking at it from that
<v Speaker 1>point of view, from where I had my first encounter,
<v Speaker 1>to where the person on VIC show had their encounter,
<v Speaker 1>to someone else that spoke up in a thing that
<v Speaker 1>I was talking about that said they had an encounter,
<v Speaker 1>and then it's just kind of snowballed since then, and
<v Speaker 1>I've started to point out all these locations, and it
<v Speaker 1>all centralized right where the Walbash River and the Mississiniwa
<v Speaker 1>River connect. But there's a lot more instances along the
<v Speaker 1>Mississinawa rather than just the Walbash. But there's also a
<v Speaker 1>lot of stuff along the Walbash area too that I
<v Speaker 1>still think ties into it because all the water systems
<v Speaker 1>around here were all still part of the Native American lands.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, so what's going on with that? Why is all
<v Speaker 2>this stuff centered around these waterways if you go back
<v Speaker 2>through history? And this is just me spitballing here. I
<v Speaker 2>don't have verifiable proof of any of this, it's just theory.
<v Speaker 2>But hundreds of years ago. The Miami settled here, and
<v Speaker 2>then the Delaware settled just to the south, and then
<v Speaker 2>we had the Potawatamy up north. All of these areas
<v Speaker 2>had different tribes and not always did they get along.
<v Speaker 2>Like just like every other civilization, we always have fights
<v Speaker 2>and turmoils and always about land and everything else, so
<v Speaker 2>they didn't always get along. More and more settlers came
<v Speaker 2>over from Europe, and they were pushing more than Native
<v Speaker 2>Americans to the west, so more and more came this way,
<v Speaker 2>and more and more interactions came. They started to fight
<v Speaker 2>about the river system because they believe that seven Pillars,
<v Speaker 2>which for anyone listening, you can look up seven Pillars,
<v Speaker 2>Miami County, Indiana and you will see photos of it.
<v Speaker 2>This is their sacred area and there are rock formations
<v Speaker 2>along the river bank, and they believed that this was
<v Speaker 2>their spiritual highway. I'm not using the correct terminologies.
<v Speaker 1>I can't pronounce the words that they described it as,
<v Speaker 1>but basically, the river system was where how the spirits
<v Speaker 1>traveled through here. Their ancestors, their spirits, they guided them
<v Speaker 1>through along the river systems. So if you look at
<v Speaker 1>it from that perspective, they clearly wanted something, they knew
<v Speaker 1>something about the area. They fought over the lands, and
<v Speaker 1>then in eighteen twelve the army came in and forced
<v Speaker 1>them all out west and now all those lands are
<v Speaker 1>under government control. Not to sound like a conspiracy person,
<v Speaker 1>but I find it strange that areas that have a
<v Speaker 1>lot of mysticism to them typically are owned by the government.
<v Speaker 1>Is there some correlation to that thing about like state
<v Speaker 1>parks federal parks talk about all the high stranges that
<v Speaker 1>goes on in these sorts of areas. Is there a
<v Speaker 1>specific reason as to why these parks are owned by
<v Speaker 1>the government and not individuals.
<v Speaker 2>Well, my signing took place in the Chickasaw National Recreation Area,
<v Speaker 2>which is like to my knowledge, I think, the only
<v Speaker 2>national park in Oklahoma, and it was owned by the
<v Speaker 2>Chickasaw tribe, and they signed a contract with the United
<v Speaker 2>States government to give the United States government sort of
<v Speaker 2>guardianship over the land. So the government controls the land
<v Speaker 2>and every thing, but the Chickasaws technically never gave them
<v Speaker 2>possession of it. I'm sure it was all by the
<v Speaker 2>books and totally fair across the board. As most you know,
<v Speaker 2>contracts were between the Native Americans and the government. But yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it just goes back to what you're saying.
<v Speaker 1>Here.
<v Speaker 2>You have this Native American land where the government has
<v Speaker 2>taken control of it, and it just happens to be
<v Speaker 2>an area where there's a lot of crazy stuff that happens,
<v Speaker 2>including a long history of bigfoot sightings.
<v Speaker 1>There are bigfoot tracks in noises and all sorts of
<v Speaker 1>activity just east of this location. And I actually interviewed
<v Speaker 1>a couple of the guys that have this information, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to give out the location because they've
<v Speaker 1>already had people apparently come out there trapes and around
<v Speaker 1>and trespassing since they've been on my show, which for
<v Speaker 1>anyone listening, don't go trespassing on people's property. So these guys,
<v Speaker 1>they have castings, they have different photos, they've had different noises,
<v Speaker 1>they've had different all sorts of activity, and just so happens.
<v Speaker 1>Take a guess of where their woods matches up to
<v Speaker 1>the Mississinawa forest area, and it's all the woods behind
<v Speaker 1>their house is all state owned property for the like
<v Speaker 1>the forestry, so it's no trespassing. Again, not to be
<v Speaker 1>a conspiracy theorist, but it just seems very weird that
<v Speaker 1>a lot of activity that gets reported. All starts to
<v Speaker 1>stem around from these lane that are no trespassing or
<v Speaker 1>state owned government property.
<v Speaker 2>Well, if you put that sign up there, you know,
<v Speaker 2>so to speak. Sometimes it's an actual physical sign. Where
<v Speaker 2>an area is owned and controlled and operated by the
<v Speaker 2>United States government, it's much more likely to keep away
<v Speaker 2>people who would go illegally trespassing on to it. Nobody
<v Speaker 2>wants to get federally prosecuted, nobody wants to get shot
<v Speaker 2>by someone in the military. It's just taken more serious
<v Speaker 2>than just your typical state owned land or you know,
<v Speaker 2>public access area or whatever. But what I find really
<v Speaker 2>interesting about this whole thing that you're talking about is
<v Speaker 2>that the local tribes said that these waterways were like
<v Speaker 2>a spiritual highway of sorts. So clearly stuff was going
<v Speaker 2>on there back before all of this, you know, townships
<v Speaker 2>and all that happened back whenever the Native Americans were
<v Speaker 2>the ones controlling the area. That I mean, in my opinion,
<v Speaker 2>it sounds like they knew something was going on in
<v Speaker 2>the area, so they were experiencing high strangeness in that
<v Speaker 2>location as well.
<v Speaker 1>At the time, maybe we consider high strangeness was normal
<v Speaker 1>for them because they were used to it, and that
<v Speaker 1>is why they chose to be around here, because they
<v Speaker 1>were more in tune with the natural order of the world,
<v Speaker 1>and we were just looking at it as outsiders at
<v Speaker 1>this point because we don't understand what maybe the Native
<v Speaker 1>Americans hundreds of years ago did understand. I actually spoke
<v Speaker 1>to one of the guys from the tribe, and from
<v Speaker 1>what he told me, they don't have reports of shape
<v Speaker 1>shifters or were wolves, at least he said, not that
<v Speaker 1>he's aware of. Now. Hundreds of years ago, we don't know,
<v Speaker 1>and who kept records of all this stuff as it
<v Speaker 1>got passed down because most of the tribe was moved
<v Speaker 1>from here, right, So I'm not saying that's not accurate.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just saying he himself has not heard of any
<v Speaker 1>reports like that. But he did talk about how seven
<v Speaker 1>pillars and the area was sacred, and he did bring
<v Speaker 1>up one interesting point that I thought about recently. He said,
<v Speaker 1>what if these things are here because they were summoned?
<v Speaker 1>He said, the ancestors used to bring up protective spirits,
<v Speaker 1>so these things could be still lurking around because the
<v Speaker 1>people that summoned them to protect them are no longer
<v Speaker 1>here to release them from their summoning. I've never thought
<v Speaker 1>of that before. Yeah, but if you listen to people talk,
<v Speaker 1>especially like with dog man and Native American lands and
<v Speaker 1>burial sites, a lot of the sightings that are going
<v Speaker 1>on here are just so happened to be around a cemetery,
<v Speaker 1>which will Native American burial cemetery, and that is where
<v Speaker 1>the most recent sightings within the last few months have happened.
<v Speaker 1>By sightings, I mean tracks and carcasses. So as you've
<v Speaker 1>ran across these different witnesses in that general area, are
<v Speaker 1>there commonalities that they share in their descriptions and stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Everyone that I've talked to that has seen an actual
<v Speaker 1>quote unquote were wolf, they've all been black, they've all
<v Speaker 1>been bipedal, and they all have pointed ears in the
<v Speaker 1>wolf looking face. It doesn't look like the I don't
<v Speaker 1>know which. There's apparently classifications of dog man types, and
<v Speaker 1>the one that you described earlier has its own classification
<v Speaker 1>of the more muzzled pit bull looking heads. These are
<v Speaker 1>more German shepherd wolf typical looking canines. Which that is
<v Speaker 1>not the only thing that I have been told about
<v Speaker 1>here recently that people have seen, which gets even weirder
<v Speaker 1>but still ties back into a lot of the Native
<v Speaker 1>American lore from the area.
<v Speaker 2>So what's some of the stories that you've heard since
<v Speaker 2>you've been working on the documentary.
<v Speaker 1>There have been a few that I've come across and
<v Speaker 1>people have actually spoken to me about in person, which
<v Speaker 1>I wish I was able to record, but was not recording.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm hoping to get in contact with some of
<v Speaker 1>these people. But one of the first ones was someone
<v Speaker 1>and their son had seen a bipedal deer and when
<v Speaker 1>they were talking to me about this, they were trying
<v Speaker 1>to not even describe what it was because they were
<v Speaker 1>thinking of the They referred to it as the w
<v Speaker 1>which I think we know what that means to most people,
<v Speaker 1>and like Native American low that was like, it's taboo
<v Speaker 1>to talk about wind to go. I said, that's not
<v Speaker 1>to my knowledge, that's not technically what a would to
<v Speaker 1>go is actually looks like I was like, that's more
<v Speaker 1>of the modernized version that's been depicted of them. But
<v Speaker 1>there was a herd of deer and one of them
<v Speaker 1>was walking with the deer, but it was weird looking
<v Speaker 1>and it just so happened to be walking on its
<v Speaker 1>hind legs and was looking at them as they drove by.
<v Speaker 1>I know this person, I've known them my entire life,
<v Speaker 1>and I one hundred percent don't think that they were
<v Speaker 1>making that up because there was literally no reason to
<v Speaker 1>just randomly bring that up.
<v Speaker 2>So this thing was with a herd of deer, yes,
<v Speaker 2>but it was on two legs.
<v Speaker 1>Yes.
<v Speaker 2>Did it look just like a deer standing on two
<v Speaker 2>legs or did it look like a humanoid deer?
<v Speaker 1>It was very hard to uh get them to talk
<v Speaker 1>about it. I bet like we were not talking we were.
<v Speaker 1>We were talking about they had recently saw something flying
<v Speaker 1>over their house, and she had mentioned she was thinking
<v Speaker 1>of me because she just saw something weird in the sky,
<v Speaker 1>and we were talking from that, and then it was
<v Speaker 1>randomly just brought up of how her and her son
<v Speaker 1>a couple of years ago saw this thing. But they
<v Speaker 1>don't talk about it, and they don't acknowledge it, and
<v Speaker 1>they don't want to talk about it because they think
<v Speaker 1>it was a w and they won't talk about it
<v Speaker 1>because that's a bad omen and that was the extent
<v Speaker 1>of the conversation for that. They won't talk about it
<v Speaker 1>anymore because of the taboo ness of it. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if I can convince them to speak about
<v Speaker 1>it anymore other than what was told to me in person.
<v Speaker 1>I was also doing a life presentation at a library locally,
<v Speaker 1>and I had someone in the back step up and
<v Speaker 1>talk about how and I think he said two thousand
<v Speaker 1>and one. Maybe he was driving out by the Mississinimal
<v Speaker 1>area on one twenty four anywhere wolf stepped out over
<v Speaker 1>the guardrail and across the road, and he told this
<v Speaker 1>in front of the other people that were there. It
<v Speaker 1>wasn't just to me, like he openly said it in
<v Speaker 1>front of other people. And I gave him my card
<v Speaker 1>and I told him to please get a hold of me.
<v Speaker 1>I would like to speak to him afterwards, and I'd
<v Speaker 1>get to ever hear from me. That also happened to
<v Speaker 1>me a year ago when I was speaking in another event,
<v Speaker 1>someone said that they were riding a bicycle and the
<v Speaker 1>werewolf had come out and chased him and his friend.
<v Speaker 1>That guy had the same thing. I said, please get
<v Speaker 1>a hold of me. I'd like to talk to you
<v Speaker 1>more about it. I've never heard from that person either,
<v Speaker 1>so I don't know if I just need to be
<v Speaker 1>recording everything when I'm speaking, just to make sure that
<v Speaker 1>I get all their stuff, because the people that talk
<v Speaker 1>about it openly like that never have reached back out
<v Speaker 1>to me, and I wish they would. Even if they
<v Speaker 1>don't want to be in the documentary, I'd still like
<v Speaker 1>to talk to them more about it.
<v Speaker 2>Now, you've been going on to some of the these
<v Speaker 2>areas filming. Has anything happened while you've been out there.
<v Speaker 1>We were just filming about a month ago, and I
<v Speaker 1>went out with a couple of different guys that I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't I didn't know them personally. They were actually working
<v Speaker 1>on their own stuff for school because they're in college,
<v Speaker 1>and they wanted someone to take them out bigfoot hunting,
<v Speaker 1>and I told them that, well, I know of a
<v Speaker 1>couple areas where people have told me they have seen bigfoots.
<v Speaker 1>I'll be more happy to go out there because I
<v Speaker 1>also need to film some stuff too, which there is
<v Speaker 1>some of this in that little teaser that I released.
<v Speaker 1>We were getting into the woods and you can start
<v Speaker 1>hearing random noises, and right around the time we start
<v Speaker 1>hearing a screech noise which could have been a duck.
<v Speaker 1>Someone said it kind of sounded like a duck, which
<v Speaker 1>again I'm not saying it wasn't a duck, but I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if ducks are in the middle of the woods.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it's possible there is water around the area,
<v Speaker 1>but where we were at was not water. And there's
<v Speaker 1>also which I didn't I don't remember really hearing them
<v Speaker 1>in person, but I've heard it once. I've been hands
<v Speaker 1>to the audio. There's a lot of dog barking, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>And I don't remember hearing the dog barks when we
<v Speaker 1>were out there. So I was joking the other day
<v Speaker 1>claiming we caught evidence of dog man because he's out
<v Speaker 1>there barking in the woods. Not being serious on that end,
<v Speaker 1>but like, I honestly don't remember hearing the dog barks
<v Speaker 1>when we were out in the woods. But you hear
<v Speaker 1>the dog barks, and then you hear this random screeching noise,
<v Speaker 1>which could have been a duck or a fox or
<v Speaker 1>an owl or nose. But right about that time is
<v Speaker 1>they want to go back to the path that we
<v Speaker 1>were walking on, which is back towards the vehicles, and
<v Speaker 1>then we kind of wrapped up filming after that. It's like,
<v Speaker 1>right when it's starting to get interesting, they were done
<v Speaker 1>filming for their end, and I didn't want to be
<v Speaker 1>out there by myself.
<v Speaker 2>I'll have to go back and listen to that again.
<v Speaker 2>I heard what you're talking about, but I don't like
<v Speaker 2>whenever I heard the screech, something like the barking is clear,
<v Speaker 2>you know. I mean, I say it's clear, it's clearly barking.
<v Speaker 2>I just don't know what's producing the barking or where
<v Speaker 2>it's coming from. Because you guys were out in the
<v Speaker 2>mill and no, we're in the woods.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, there's houses where we were.
<v Speaker 2>Could have been stray dogs, could have been coyotes. Maybe,
<v Speaker 2>who knows. Do coyotes bark like that. I don't know
<v Speaker 2>the screech sound. I'm not saying it's not a duck,
<v Speaker 2>because like I said, i'd have to go back and listen.
<v Speaker 2>But I can say that whenever I heard it on
<v Speaker 2>the video, duck did not pop in my mind. I
<v Speaker 2>didn't hear the sound and be like, oh, there's a.
<v Speaker 1>Duck, right, Yeah, the first person said something sounded like
<v Speaker 1>a duck. I'm like, yeah, like I could get it.
<v Speaker 1>I guess cause we heard that with our own ears,
<v Speaker 1>and I pointed the direction that it came from. And
<v Speaker 1>in the trailer I have music in there, so you
<v Speaker 1>don't really hear as much in the background because I
<v Speaker 1>didn't want to just leave it all last Slattus music.
<v Speaker 1>So when the actual documentary, we're not going to have
<v Speaker 1>music really in these spots. It's going to be open
<v Speaker 1>so people can actually hear all the clear audio of it.
<v Speaker 1>But again, going through the footage, it picked up a
<v Speaker 1>lot of sounds that I wasn't even aware it was
<v Speaker 1>going to pick up. And I didn't even have one
<v Speaker 1>of those shotgun mics. They did on their end. They
<v Speaker 1>had a professional setup with a big cone shape noise,
<v Speaker 1>so they were hearing a lot of noises that I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't even hearing. Oh, so it made me want to
<v Speaker 1>go get this professional equipment to go back out there
<v Speaker 1>and track these noises because they were picking up footsteps
<v Speaker 1>and cracking of things, which I spoken to someone recently
<v Speaker 1>and they told me, if I'm hearing footprints and like
<v Speaker 1>their footsteps in the woods and leaves cracking and twigs breaking,
<v Speaker 1>it's probably actually not a deer like I said it was,
<v Speaker 1>because deers wouldn't be doing that. It's like, how does
<v Speaker 1>deers know not to make I.
<v Speaker 2>Mean, there's there's differences, for sure. You know, deer have
<v Speaker 2>a very punchy sound to their steps and whenever they
<v Speaker 2>step on, say like a twig and snap it. There's
<v Speaker 2>a different sound between something hard like a hoof snapping
<v Speaker 2>a twig and something soft like the pad of a
<v Speaker 2>foot snapping a twig. But you have to learn how
<v Speaker 2>to differentiate. And you know, it's a.
<v Speaker 1>Whole thing, right, And I'm not familiar enough this is.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not an outdoorsman that's been out in the woods
<v Speaker 1>my entire life. I've lived around it, but I've never
<v Speaker 1>been out hunting. I've never been out doing any of
<v Speaker 1>this stuff. So everything I've been doing is out of
<v Speaker 1>my normal element. So let's learn as I go. And
<v Speaker 1>the people that have been involved with me doing this
<v Speaker 1>are also not outdoors people. So just I don't want
<v Speaker 1>to call us city slickers if we don't live in
<v Speaker 1>a city. Take a bunch of people that have no
<v Speaker 1>experience out in the woods and throw us out there
<v Speaker 1>looking for monsters, and that's what you're getting.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, a recurring theme that you've mentioned to me
<v Speaker 2>is the people you have taken out there have had
<v Speaker 2>sort of uneasy feelings and wanted to leave the area,
<v Speaker 2>especially whenever it gets dark. Is that just a byproduct
<v Speaker 2>of you guys not used to being out in the woods,
<v Speaker 2>or is there something going on that's making everybody feel
<v Speaker 2>that way.
<v Speaker 1>Right in the very beginning of a trailer, my friend
<v Speaker 1>Ed is one of the other camera people, and you
<v Speaker 1>can hear one of the other guys that was out
<v Speaker 1>there with us. And this is honestly, and I'm not
<v Speaker 1>trying to sell him weird about this, but that guy
<v Speaker 1>was a random person that we just met that day.
<v Speaker 1>He'd messaged me and asked if he could go out
<v Speaker 1>with us. I kind of know him from an inner
<v Speaker 1>circle of other people, but I don't know him personally,
<v Speaker 1>and I agreed to take him out with us. And
<v Speaker 1>he was talking about how the look behinds, which I'm
<v Speaker 1>not even familiar with that is, but he was talking
<v Speaker 1>about that, and you can see the face and the
<v Speaker 1>part of the reason why I left it in there
<v Speaker 1>for the trailer because I thought it was kind of amusing.
<v Speaker 1>You can see the look on Ed's face as he
<v Speaker 1>was unsure about that, and I think it kind of
<v Speaker 1>creeped him out. And he's like, you meaning the trees,
<v Speaker 1>like he was something above us up in the trees.
<v Speaker 1>He's gonna grab us. Yeah, But The weird part about
<v Speaker 1>that guy is after that night, we've never heard from
<v Speaker 1>him again. Uh oh yeah. So he went out with
<v Speaker 1>us and did all this stuff, and then like, I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure he's still around. He might even listen to the show.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. He claimed, you listen to my podcast
<v Speaker 1>and he's from the area. But he wanted us to
<v Speaker 1>come film out at his place and we never did,
<v Speaker 1>but he claims he'd be getting hold of me. And
<v Speaker 1>I've never heard from him since then, and I haven't
<v Speaker 1>honestly reached out to him either, So I guess it
<v Speaker 1>could go both ways. But it was just a random
<v Speaker 1>and another random weirdness I guess for the whole experience
<v Speaker 1>that we've been doing filming this documentary.
<v Speaker 2>So you know me, I'm not the type of person
<v Speaker 2>to uh do this. But in the teaser that you posted,
<v Speaker 2>I'm not saying it's anything okay, but there's this one
<v Speaker 2>part during the section with the barking and everything where
<v Speaker 2>you're getting off in there and you're talking about how
<v Speaker 2>this is all thorns and you get turned around, lost
<v Speaker 2>and everything. In that portion, there is this dark area
<v Speaker 2>in the background that kind of looks like it might
<v Speaker 2>be something standing there. I would have to go back
<v Speaker 2>and really look at it. I mean, you know, I
<v Speaker 2>don't like people that like circle you know, red circle
<v Speaker 2>shadow warriors. I'm not into that. And like I understand that,
<v Speaker 2>you know, the type of equipment you're using and everything,
<v Speaker 2>and you're in the woods, so there's gonna be shadows
<v Speaker 2>and all that. I get all that. I understand that,
<v Speaker 2>but there's just this one spot that just looks off
<v Speaker 2>to me for some reason.
<v Speaker 1>For anyone that watches this, and just so they're clear,
<v Speaker 1>it is pink looking because it's a full spectrum camera. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>without that camera, I would not see a single thing.
<v Speaker 1>It is pitch black out there. There is no light source.
<v Speaker 1>I actually tried to film the moon in the sky
<v Speaker 1>and the moon was being covered up by cloud. So
<v Speaker 1>we're out in the thicket of trees and woods and
<v Speaker 1>overgrowth and I can't see anything besides the glow from
<v Speaker 1>my camera screen on this little tiny, basically go pro
<v Speaker 1>size camera. That's the only light source we have. And
<v Speaker 1>I have people follow me in through thorns and thicket
<v Speaker 1>of brush to follow wherever we're hearing these noises. So
<v Speaker 1>in that clip is the direction that I was pointing
<v Speaker 1>when I said I heard a footstep. Yeah, okay, I'll
<v Speaker 1>have to go back and really look into that one,
<v Speaker 1>because we all heard a big step back there, but
<v Speaker 1>I couldn't see anything because obviously it's pitch black. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't talk to you about it yet because you know,
<v Speaker 2>I don't want to like paint a picture of something
<v Speaker 2>and it is like nothing, it's just a shadow or
<v Speaker 2>you know whatever. But it just kind of looks like
<v Speaker 2>something's there. And I saw it before you said anything
<v Speaker 2>about the step thing, or before I noticed you saying
<v Speaker 2>anything about the step thing. And and then there's one

<v Speaker 1>saw a gargoyle and I wanted to find this person,

<v Speaker 1>another thing. They don't want any one knowing what they
<v Speaker 1>saw or be involved with anything because they don't want
<v Speaker 1>people to know who they are. So it goes back

<v Speaker 1>can't explain, they don't want anything to do with it. Again,
<v Speaker 1>that seems to be typical around here.

<v Speaker 2>men about, you know, you basically have two sides to it.
<v Speaker 2>I guess You've got the the paranormal side, where maybe
<v Speaker 2>these things are turning invisible or going through portals or whatever.

<v Speaker 2>well they're just masters of their domain and they're you know,
<v Speaker 2>in thick cover and woods and they are primarily active
<v Speaker 2>at night and that's how they stay hidden. But something
<v Speaker 2>the size of a human with wings, where does that hide?
<v Speaker 2>How does that fly around without anybody seeing it?
<v Speaker 1>What is it even a thing? Like? Is it a human?
<v Speaker 1>Isn't it like a moth man? Or some people said
<v Speaker 1>they were angels? I was like, why would that again?

<v Speaker 1>The actual depiction of an angel in the Bible isn't
<v Speaker 1>what people are calling angels like walking around humans with wings? Right,
<v Speaker 1>there are a bunch of eyeballs with feathers and like
<v Speaker 1>all weird shaped. But the depiction that people are saying
<v Speaker 1>are angels or a mothman or a human with wings,
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't add up to me because the wings don't
<v Speaker 1>even matter. Because these things end up levit, heating and
<v Speaker 1>flying off. No one ever sees them flapping the wings.

<v Speaker 1>the air and just fly off like a plane. That
<v Speaker 1>doesn't sound very Uh, what's the point of that? You

<v Speaker 1>everybody knows one another, is connected to somebody knows somebody's
<v Speaker 1>cousin or whatever. So a lot of these people that
<v Speaker 1>you're talking to and hearing from, you can kind of
<v Speaker 1>verify who they are and the likelihood of them making
<v Speaker 1>something up, can't you pretty much? Yes? And i'd sent
<v Speaker 1>you Saturday, I got this text message and I didn't
<v Speaker 1>recognize the number because I apparently either it's from a
<v Speaker 1>different number. I didn't save the number, but I ended
<v Speaker 1>up knowing who it was because he called me. But
<v Speaker 1>the text message was talking about out around one of
<v Speaker 1>these areas, and he has photographs of large canine tracks
<v Speaker 1>and one small human looks like a child's track, also
<v Speaker 1>in the mud. And this was just a couple of
<v Speaker 1>months back, right after the like right around the end
<v Speaker 1>of the fall, like into the fall, so probably like
<v Speaker 1>maybe October, I think, And they have all these tracks
<v Speaker 1>of large canine tracks going through there, and there's also
<v Speaker 1>dead animal carcasses scattered about. And this ends up being
<v Speaker 1>in the area that we were filming, and weirdly enough,
<v Speaker 1>where we were filming that night, we didn't make it
<v Speaker 1>far enough down, so we had to turn around and
<v Speaker 1>go back because we're technically not supposed to be out there,
<v Speaker 1>and we were because it even says anything after dusk
<v Speaker 1>is off limits and it's only for horse trails. We
<v Speaker 1>were walking down the horse path and if we had
<v Speaker 1>have continued on further where he was where they found
<v Speaker 1>all the tracks in the dead animals. But we turned
<v Speaker 1>around and went back because our ride was picking us up,
<v Speaker 1>because I had someone drop us off, because I didn't
<v Speaker 1>want to leave a vehicle sitting out there when it
<v Speaker 1>says not to be out there at that time.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and that guy that found the tracks and the carcasses,
<v Speaker 2>he was out there doing paranormal stuff, wasn't he.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. They weren't out there looking for what I was
<v Speaker 1>looking for. They were out there trying to find the
<v Speaker 1>little people, which is also prevalent in this area of
<v Speaker 1>people seeing little humanoids out in the area. Which he
<v Speaker 1>said something about the tracks and see a child's track,
<v Speaker 1>And I told him when I was talking, I was like,

<v Speaker 1>little people in the little track was actually part of
<v Speaker 1>the little people, not a child. I don't know if

<v Speaker 1>the little human, why would there just be one little
<v Speaker 1>kid's footprint, Yeah, especially in a mixture of large canine tracks,
<v Speaker 1>which is all carcasses. So is the kid a were
<v Speaker 1>wolf or or is he being adopted by the wolves
<v Speaker 1>like you know, or the coyotes or whatever is out there.

<v Speaker 1>me two seconds and I will find the name of
<v Speaker 1>the cemetery that's out there. Someone actually said it in
<v Speaker 1>a comment on the video, says the person that comment
<v Speaker 1>on the video yesterday says, I am a Miami Indian.
<v Speaker 1>My family cemetery is the Clayton Cemetery right in oke Pinochi.
<v Speaker 1>So where we're at and the area that everyone says
<v Speaker 1>is one of the most haunted areas of our Like
<v Speaker 1>our general region is ok Pinocchi, which is just a
<v Speaker 1>stone's throw down the river from the Sacred Seven Pillars.
<v Speaker 1>Is their ancestral burial ground, which is what the guy
<v Speaker 1>had told me when he went out and took us
<v Speaker 1>to Seven Pillars of oke Pinocchi. Was their old Miami
<v Speaker 1>burial grounds. Why are their large canine tracks and little
<v Speaker 1>tiny human footprint just one footprint out in the old
<v Speaker 1>burial ground area. And see something that people need to remember.

<v Speaker 2>accounts and everything, don't think of it in terms of
<v Speaker 2>all of this stuff is happening, because this burial grounds
<v Speaker 2>is out there. Think of it as why did they

<v Speaker 1>go out to hobbit Land, which is not too far

<v Speaker 1>everyone was talking about seeing little people. What is going
<v Speaker 1>on in this because even the Miami talks about the
<v Speaker 1>little people they look like one of the Native Americans.

<v Speaker 1>things that don't look like people, that like little imps,
<v Speaker 1>little creature looking people that sounds like puck wedgies.

<v Speaker 1>size of a beach ball, and it flew out and
<v Speaker 1>flew throughout from his house to towards a cemetery. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what to think of that. But the people
<v Speaker 1>that I've talked to also had mentioned that these black
<v Speaker 1>orbs that they have seen. One was floating over their bed,
<v Speaker 1>and someone else had one in their bedroom. So they're inside,
<v Speaker 1>they're inside houses. Huh, they're not in the sky. They're
<v Speaker 1>actually in They're like balls of black energy swirling around.

<v Speaker 1>paranormal investigator, so I don't really know what i'd be

<v Speaker 1>other side, so it's not stationary. It is actually moving too. Yeah,

<v Speaker 1>in the evening, one o'clock in the morning. He literally
<v Speaker 1>sent it to me right after it happened, and he said,

<v Speaker 1>Man, I don't know. It's clearly clearly something weird. I mean, yeah,

<v Speaker 2>a limp lying around here and night over rural Indiana, right,

<v Speaker 1>because we didn't have aircrafts in the eighteen nineties. Apparently,
<v Speaker 1>in eighteen ninety six and eighteen ninety seven there was
<v Speaker 1>an outbreak of airship sightings is what they're recalled, and
<v Speaker 1>a lot of like a lot of people reported seeing
<v Speaker 1>these things in Lafayette, which is not too far maybe
<v Speaker 1>about fifty miles from here, which just so happens to
<v Speaker 1>be down along the river systems. And then there was
<v Speaker 1>something in Logansport, which again is right along the river systems.
<v Speaker 1>Of this one was a lady retelling the story. We've
<v Speaker 1>talked about this off air, but I will tell it
<v Speaker 1>for the listeners. In eighteen nineties, there is a older
<v Speaker 1>lady that was recounting this story on videotape, and this
<v Speaker 1>videotape was probably thirty years old, if not from the eighties,
<v Speaker 1>because it was his great great or his great grandmother
<v Speaker 1>or his great great grandmother and her sister's talking about
<v Speaker 1>what she saw. So she was born in the if
<v Speaker 1>she was old enough in the eighteen nineties, and she
<v Speaker 1>was about ninety something years old when this was being recorded.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how old she was when this happened,
<v Speaker 1>but she was taking food out to her father on
<v Speaker 1>the farm in her dad and I believe it was
<v Speaker 1>her brother and her ended up hiding because a flying
<v Speaker 1>airship landed in the field and little humanoids came out
<v Speaker 1>of it and they saw all this, and then it
<v Speaker 1>lifted back up after they got in and it left.
<v Speaker 1>She's recounting this story on video in her late nineties,
<v Speaker 1>documenting it before she passed away. And this guy still
<v Speaker 1>has the video that came from his mom because it
<v Speaker 1>was his mom's grandmother or great grandmother.

<v Speaker 2>from the soil and the corn and stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it was like taking things from the ground. That's
<v Speaker 1>very strange story for an older lady to talk about.

<v Speaker 1>didn't have airplanes back then, but there has been a

<v Speaker 1>more pop up from the area along that time frame,

<v Speaker 1>there was like a lot of different airship sightings around
<v Speaker 1>the country. So what was going on in the eighteen
<v Speaker 1>nineties that people were seen and one just so happens

<v Speaker 1>the weird stuff's going on.

<v Speaker 1>I need to go and film a few more things.
<v Speaker 1>There's a couple of other people, like I said earlier,
<v Speaker 1>that I'd like to be able to get on the
<v Speaker 1>like to interview, even if they don't want to be
<v Speaker 1>on camera. I can set it up where their faces
<v Speaker 1>aren't on there, and I can change your voice. I
<v Speaker 1>don't like doing that, but I can if I need to.
<v Speaker 1>But I want to get their stories out there because
<v Speaker 1>I think it adds more to the overall narrative of
<v Speaker 1>what this is. Like it's not just an isolated incident
<v Speaker 1>of one person. Like, there's a lot of people out
<v Speaker 1>there that are there experiencing these type of things and
<v Speaker 1>no one, for some reason really wants to talk about it.
<v Speaker 1>And I think it's not just a handful of people,
<v Speaker 1>like I believe there's a lot more people out there
<v Speaker 1>that probably had something to strange happened to them. One
<v Speaker 1>of those other stories we didn't touch base on that
<v Speaker 1>I'd come across was the pale naked man running along
<v Speaker 1>the side of the road that darted off into the woods.
<v Speaker 1>He was running on all fours like an animal. What
<v Speaker 1>does that sound like to you?
<v Speaker 2>Creepy? But I mean a rake for lack of a better term.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, this was posted as an encounter. Again, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know the person that had it, so it could be
<v Speaker 1>completely just made up, but it was posted as an
<v Speaker 1>encounter out at miss Sinnawa that they were driving home.
<v Speaker 1>Any pale, naked, hairless man started running alongside their vehicle
<v Speaker 1>and once they got past the guardrail, he darted off
<v Speaker 1>into the woods. But he was running on all fours
<v Speaker 1>like an animal. Wow, So wasn't actually a pale, hairless
<v Speaker 1>naked man or was it something else running along on
<v Speaker 1>all fours?
<v Speaker 2>Either way, you know, I don't want to have nothing
<v Speaker 2>to do with anything like that.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not saying that there wasn't someone out there high
<v Speaker 1>on meth.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, somebody could have gone in the hoots
<v Speaker 2>or something.
<v Speaker 1>You never know, but never know. That just doesn't sound
<v Speaker 1>like something you see every day, especially when you're just
<v Speaker 1>driving about and next thing you know, there's a hairless,
<v Speaker 1>naked man running alongside your vehicle like a animal. So
<v Speaker 1>in the off chance that someone out there listening could
<v Speaker 1>potentially be in this documentary sharing their experience. What areas
<v Speaker 1>are you looking for geographically like? Who can be included
<v Speaker 1>in this? There is really no specific boundary as long
<v Speaker 1>as it's within somewhere along the north central Indiana area,
<v Speaker 1>because I've come to find out if you follow the
<v Speaker 1>Missiniwa River, it's not isolated to just miss Ciniwa Reservoir.
<v Speaker 1>I've spoken with people that if you follow the river,
<v Speaker 1>they've had all sorts of bigfoot and dog man encounters
<v Speaker 1>along the river. Someone else seen something just a half
<v Speaker 1>mile away from the river. And since I've been researching,
<v Speaker 1>because not just the documentary, I'm also trying to write
<v Speaker 1>a book version of this, I've been documenting a lot
<v Speaker 1>of stuff too. There has been a lot of murders
<v Speaker 1>along the Mississiniwa while Bash rivers that are either solved
<v Speaker 1>and some that are not solved. The most recent one
<v Speaker 1>was a couple of years ago and a girl was
<v Speaker 1>found just on the east side of Peru along the river,
<v Speaker 1>which is ironically happens to be in the same area
<v Speaker 1>where people see were wolf sightings, and it's been unsolved
<v Speaker 1>and they don't know if she was dead in the
<v Speaker 1>river and drowned or someone just dumped her in the river.
<v Speaker 1>So we have weird things to this river that happens
<v Speaker 1>a lot that I did not know about until I
<v Speaker 1>started researching it.
<v Speaker 2>So basically, if you're listening and you recognize some of
<v Speaker 2>these place names.
<v Speaker 1>Basically what I was getting to is, if you live
<v Speaker 1>anywhere within a fifty mile radius of Peru, Indiana, which
<v Speaker 1>is north central Indiana, anywhere along the river systems of
<v Speaker 1>the Ill River, the Walbash River, the missus Sinawa River,
<v Speaker 1>even to the typic Canoe, there are all sorts of
<v Speaker 1>weird activities around these river systems. So if anyone is
<v Speaker 1>listening from north central Indiana radius, feel free to reach
<v Speaker 1>out to me. They can go to tenfoiltales dot com

<v Speaker 1>same time, I was like, I've been working on this
<v Speaker 1>for a year now, and it did have a Kickstarter
<v Speaker 1>because if anyone remembers earlier in the year, I was
<v Speaker 1>on here and we talked about the Kickstarter page. So
<v Speaker 1>I am grateful to everyone who contribute it to that
<v Speaker 1>we did hit our budget. We actually went over budget,
<v Speaker 1>and I was able to get a little bit of
<v Speaker 1>extra stuff for the documentary far as equipment that I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't expecting to get, so that did work out well.
<v Speaker 1>So I'm grateful to those people who did help contribute.
