<v Speaker 1>Hm, it's that time of the month, Tom to get <v Speaker 1>h A U D. It's the Hard Foundation bonus episode. <v Speaker 1>We're your hosts, The Major King, Matcardona, maxim Amendment, Brian <v Speaker 1>Myers and. <v Speaker 2>Doctor Silverbles himself Slogs Block Stole It. <v Speaker 3>Coming up. <v Speaker 2>We're live here Patreon Exclusive Art Foundation Q and A <v Speaker 2>last month that smart Mark sterling here by the way, <v Speaker 2>I'm joined by Maccardona and Brian Myers. <v Speaker 4>But also swots mental journeyman Dylan Postel. <v Speaker 2>Yes, Jesusgle's gonna hang out with us for this one. <v Speaker 2>If you have any questions, swoggle that come into your <v Speaker 2>chime in. <v Speaker 5>Chime in baby, we'll explore the space. <v Speaker 2>Last month, we took questions from the Patreon Facebook group <v Speaker 2>about the guys and their famous indie run pre WWE signing, <v Speaker 2>and we talked all the way up to when they <v Speaker 2>got signed. So we're gonna take it right from there <v Speaker 2>and we're going to talk about that developmental time before <v Speaker 2>they get called up as the Major Brothers. And this <v Speaker 2>time I didn't ask in the Facebook group. I asked <v Speaker 2>the question specifically in the Hard Foundation, so only Hard <v Speaker 2>Foundation people could ask. Because I was like these people <v Speaker 2>who are probably who can't even listen to the episode <v Speaker 2>are asking questions, right, But now that's not gonna happen. <v Speaker 5>Ok. <v Speaker 4>We have enough questions. <v Speaker 2>We have plenty of questions. All right. First of all, <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna ask the first question. Tell me, like, let's start. <v Speaker 2>You guys get signed. We talked about it a little bit. <v Speaker 2>How do you get there? Where are you going? <v Speaker 4>What? <v Speaker 2>What is the first thing? Do they give you a <v Speaker 2>piece of paper that says report to this thing at <v Speaker 2>this date? <v Speaker 5>So we sign in February of six. Uh, and Tommy Dreamer, <v Speaker 5>I think is under the impression that if we finished semester, <v Speaker 5>we graduate college. But it's we just finished that year <v Speaker 5>of college and we tell us us to stay and <v Speaker 5>finish because. <v Speaker 4>We were like, oh, we'll just drop out. We don't care. <v Speaker 4>It was not that I don't even not like that, <v Speaker 4>like it's a bad look. Just finish and report in May. <v Speaker 2>Right. <v Speaker 5>So like what that meant to me was, Okay, cut class, <v Speaker 5>go to toys r us, quit all my jobs, right <v Speaker 5>and just like get five hundred dollars a week, baby <v Speaker 5>living at home. <v Speaker 4>Unfathomable being rich like as a mo phone insane, like <v Speaker 4>just an insane income to me. <v Speaker 5>Twenty years old, getting five hundred dollars a week, no expensive, <v Speaker 5>just show me the money. <v Speaker 4>Literally thought. <v Speaker 6>I was like Hugh Heffner like that's what I felt, <v Speaker 6>Literally like that's what I like. <v Speaker 4>Prost's at home. I'm away at school and I'm like, <v Speaker 4>what am I supposed to do? Like I don't who <v Speaker 4>cares about school? <v Speaker 6>So I basically like completely fucked off. I like party <v Speaker 6>with my friends. I like would just work out I <v Speaker 6>need to go to class if I was bored and <v Speaker 6>my buddies would beg me or something like I. <v Speaker 2>Didn't really I would they beg you to go to <v Speaker 2>class because. <v Speaker 6>They want me to like beither with them to you know, <v Speaker 6>you know, accompanying them, like just nothing else, like nothing <v Speaker 6>else going on, Like I don't really have to go. <v Speaker 4>It sucks like I wouldn't do it. <v Speaker 6>And then it was like pretty unbelievable, like great time <v Speaker 6>in my life, like just the last time really there <v Speaker 6>there was like no not a. <v Speaker 4>Care or responsibility in the world. <v Speaker 5>I remember my Spanish teacher was like on me because <v Speaker 5>I stopped going to class, and I explained to them like, hey, <v Speaker 5>like I stopped going to class because I sat to <v Speaker 5>WV and I'll be getting like prepared stuff like that. <v Speaker 5>Oh my son's like a huge band that I got <v Speaker 5>an a wow. <v Speaker 6>So like not that that like similar but similar to <v Speaker 6>that story. <v Speaker 4>Then it came down to the end, like all. <v Speaker 6>Finals and stuff, and I was like whoa, Like I've <v Speaker 6>like completely effed up here, Like I didn't do anything. <v Speaker 4>I would to fail everything. I was like, eh, it <v Speaker 4>was a shot in the dark. <v Speaker 6>I wrote this one page essay explaining like my situation, <v Speaker 6>like I have my childhood dream job. <v Speaker 4>I am not coming back to. <v Speaker 6>School, like I'm finishing this semester and I'm moving to Atlanta. <v Speaker 6>I signed with you know, like I will not be back, <v Speaker 6>and I said, please just give me a passing grade <v Speaker 6>so I didn't completely waste my parents' money. And every <v Speaker 6>single professor had gave me like the lowest possible grade. <v Speaker 2>To D plus or whatever it would be to not fail. <v Speaker 5>I still have dreams to this day. They're like I'm <v Speaker 5>back in college and like ten years of past and <v Speaker 5>I don't remember like what class to go to, our <v Speaker 5>building to go to. It was really weird. <v Speaker 2>Oh, Broski, I have the same thing. Yeah, yeah, I <v Speaker 2>have a very very similar thing. <v Speaker 4>I don't even think about college, do I. <v Speaker 5>Only in my dreams. <v Speaker 2>That's fun I often have that weird dream which building, Yeah, <v Speaker 2>which building? <v Speaker 4>Right? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's funny. <v Speaker 5>Ever ever, ever, so we're told that we're going to <v Speaker 5>go to Deep South Wrestling, they say, and by day <v Speaker 5>I mean like WW says Atlanta, Georgia, but it's really mcdonna, Georgia. <v Speaker 6>Which also little note that just sparked my brain. I remember, <v Speaker 6>like anyone that like we only really knew, like Kevin <v Speaker 6>Matthews had been signed or km from Impact Wrestling family. <v Speaker 6>He he got to choose and we were told you're going <v Speaker 6>to Deep Southing. He was never on the table like <v Speaker 6>would you like OVW Deep South? Of course we would <v Speaker 6>have picked WW because we're like, that's what John Cena ran. <v Speaker 6>You aren't get like it was like a dream, you <v Speaker 6>know what I mean. So we're like, what is this <v Speaker 6>Deep Southing? We don't really know. <v Speaker 4>But then at the time, Kevin was like in love <v Speaker 4>with Deep South because he was in like the honeymoon <v Speaker 4>phase and was like, oh, it's so great. <v Speaker 6>Well I picked Deep South in this way less and <v Speaker 6>he was saying like there's way less people there, which <v Speaker 6>probably in the long run was the smart move because <v Speaker 6>there was less talent there, you know, less of a <v Speaker 6>less competition. <v Speaker 4>But we didn't get a choice. <v Speaker 5>But then I remember, like right before we moved on there, <v Speaker 5>he was telling us some horror stories about being like <v Speaker 5>trapped in the back of a U haul and driven <v Speaker 5>around and forced to drink. <v Speaker 4>Like hazing, like you would like a fraternity style. <v Speaker 5>And I was like, oh no, I'm twenty years old. <v Speaker 4>We would go down with these grown men, which was <v Speaker 4>still the case. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so now what are you given? Like they're just <v Speaker 2>you have to be here? Are you given travel money? <v Speaker 2>Do you guys say you. <v Speaker 4>Got a two thousand dollars moving check? <v Speaker 5>Right? There was something small like that, and then. <v Speaker 4>First month rent and moving is what it's supposed to be. <v Speaker 5>I turned twenty one, and I think we leave the <v Speaker 5>very next day, so May fifteenth, we drive, Yeah. <v Speaker 6>Me and my dad in a car and broken his <v Speaker 6>dad in a car, and like we kind of like <v Speaker 6>tailed each other. <v Speaker 5>And I remember this very vividly. I remember I didn't <v Speaker 5>want to get a moving van, but we did. For <v Speaker 5>some reason, we like ended up. I don't know if <v Speaker 5>you wanted to get it or your mom something. We <v Speaker 5>ended up getting a moving van, and that turns out <v Speaker 5>to be a fucking disaster. Remember it comes like in <v Speaker 5>real weeks weeks late. My TV's broken and then they <v Speaker 5>won't bring it up to the third floor. <v Speaker 4>So I think the idea was which did help. <v Speaker 6>Like there was like furniture and stuff that like my <v Speaker 6>parents either donated or or some of yours shit too, like, <v Speaker 6>so at least we didn't have this giant. <v Speaker 4>Empty apartment, you know. <v Speaker 6>And I think that's something that like Kevin putting our <v Speaker 6>heads be honestly, He's like, you don't want to be <v Speaker 6>like sitting in line lawn chairs in the riving room <v Speaker 6>and ship like then that's what. <v Speaker 4>People did, you know. <v Speaker 5>I remember the first day we got there, I know <v Speaker 5>we're giving it ahead, and I remember we went to Walmart. <v Speaker 5>I think we did get lawn chairs, but we definitely <v Speaker 5>got the TV with the bunny ears. I watched like <v Speaker 5>the finale of Loss. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, only crap. <v Speaker 5>So we're driving down in two separate cars from New <v Speaker 5>York to uh, Georgia. I believe we stopped once just <v Speaker 5>to sleep, but we stopped in Georgia. <v Speaker 4>Okay. <v Speaker 6>We got to like the Georgia line and got a <v Speaker 6>hotel and passed out like two in the morning or whatever. <v Speaker 6>And the car keeping also giving mind the card onomn <v Speaker 6>every ninety minutes. <v Speaker 5>We're probably hydrated. Yes, well, I remember at that point. <v Speaker 5>I have a Pontiac grand Am, and all I can <v Speaker 5>remember is like the whole car stuffed in a small car, <v Speaker 5>and I remember my Neca marshmallow Man just being like <v Speaker 5>in the back seat, like yeah, of course. So by <v Speaker 5>this time my bedroom has now transformed into my collection. <v Speaker 5>My collection is all on display in my childhood bedroom. <v Speaker 5>But I'm not bringing bringing it with me because this <v Speaker 5>is temporary in my mind. I'm not gonna live in <v Speaker 5>McDonough in and out, you know, So I don't bring <v Speaker 5>my figures with me. Obviously we continue the collection, but <v Speaker 5>I don't. I don't, Brian, you didn't bring any of <v Speaker 5>yours with you. <v Speaker 6>I didn't bring one figure when I moved, but I <v Speaker 6>bought a tote and ziplocks and I accumulated very quick. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, yes, can I can? <v Speaker 5>I pop in real quick? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? <v Speaker 5>How did you guys get noticed? <v Speaker 4>Is there was there that weird tryout? <v Speaker 5>There's a weird there was a tryout. There was a tryout. <v Speaker 5>I don't even remember these there was a wwe dot <v Speaker 5>com like application slash tryout. <v Speaker 2>But we talked about this exact thing in the episode, <v Speaker 2>just real quick. <v Speaker 5>So we filled it out, we applied, we got called. <v Speaker 5>We did pretty bad at the tryout. <v Speaker 6>I think Mikey put in the word with Dreamer or <v Speaker 6>vice versa, trying to fill it out with bodies. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. <v Speaker 5>I didn't necessarily do great. I mean I certainly didn't. <v Speaker 5>I didn't leave that day thinking we're gonna get signed. <v Speaker 5>I left I. <v Speaker 4>Got free, take it so alive that like. <v Speaker 5>You know what, I'm twenty years old. I gotta look <v Speaker 5>from everything's okay. But then when we got side, I was, <v Speaker 5>I was shocked. So we moved down. It's the it's <v Speaker 5>the end. <v Speaker 2>Of May, okay. So let me ask you this. I <v Speaker 2>just want to I want to get to these guys questions, <v Speaker 2>but I just want you to paint the picture in <v Speaker 2>case they don't do that. So you're down there, you're <v Speaker 2>both living together. You're making five hundred dollars a week <v Speaker 2>with this. <v Speaker 4>You have beautiful, beautiful apartment. I don't think anyone ever <v Speaker 4>lived in before. <v Speaker 5>Like, first day I get there, I clogged the toilet. <v Speaker 4>That story has been told. Yeah, the ship. <v Speaker 5>The ship is overflowing the water, the ship water. It's <v Speaker 5>coming into my bedroom. Ship for an it's coming into <v Speaker 5>my bedroom. I'm stripping naked and using my clothes as <v Speaker 5>a damn to block the clothes from getting into my <v Speaker 5>new carpet. <v Speaker 6>And Bridad come screaming like like that. <v Speaker 5>Brian's dad comes in and it's like that and he <v Speaker 5>reaches in and he fucking unclogs with his hand and. <v Speaker 4>Turns the Yeah, yeah, who knew you can just turn <v Speaker 4>the knob there down there and turn the water. <v Speaker 2>I know that, all right? Pay me the picture about <v Speaker 2>Deep South, Like okay, who are the trainers when you <v Speaker 2>get there? What? Like? Who are some of the students <v Speaker 2>that are Like. <v Speaker 4>I said, we only Kevin acts like we were like <v Speaker 4>best friends, Like I knew of Kevin. We were not friends. <v Speaker 6>He was got he got my number from somebody and <v Speaker 6>he would like call and like stooge Like I said. <v Speaker 4>The first thing was like deep shouts incredible. Bill was the. <v Speaker 6>Coolest on my try on the month later like this <v Speaker 6>place is help man careful? Like you know, like it <v Speaker 6>was a complete whinny And he's calling and stoogs and <v Speaker 6>stuff to me And I would call man and be <v Speaker 6>like tell him what Kevin just said. So we didn't <v Speaker 6>know what the hell expect. <v Speaker 5>Bill Hmot's a trainer and. <v Speaker 6>We don't really know building out from like scary ass, <v Speaker 6>tough enough stuff that he was already being that character <v Speaker 6>on TV, so it wasn't that much of a stretch to. <v Speaker 5>Like Dave Taylor was also a trainer, which ends up <v Speaker 5>being super great and you want to be a day's <v Speaker 5>class And then Jody Hamilton from the assass since he's <v Speaker 5>like the owner slash trainer, but he's not training ship. <v Speaker 4>He's like a nineteen fifties top pro wrestler. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, yep, so a small collusion. <v Speaker 6>The Deep South schedule would be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday train <v Speaker 6>Thursday was TV, which they would have a live event <v Speaker 6>at the building we'd train at. <v Speaker 4>But it would be a lot, I mean equally long <v Speaker 4>day because. <v Speaker 6>You know, call time was one or whatever, and then <v Speaker 6>you'd be there till ten to eleven at night and <v Speaker 6>do the show. <v Speaker 2>And you would break down. You'd set up and then <v Speaker 2>break down. <v Speaker 6>Nothing already set up. There'd always be four uh matches <v Speaker 6>in dark and then four. <v Speaker 4>On the TVs. Never changes eight matches, so you weren't on, <v Speaker 4>you were, I mean, that was that's all there was. <v Speaker 2>But if you weren't on, you were there. <v Speaker 6>If you were in the first four matches, there was <v Speaker 6>no punching, no kicking, and no head head. <v Speaker 5>Clothes lines, no kicks, the clothes I just said that <v Speaker 5>the Swinger this week you said you no punches, no kicks, <v Speaker 5>no clothes lines. <v Speaker 6>Very old school, so you couldn't do those. You had <v Speaker 6>to save those for the four TV matches. <v Speaker 4>Just real old school, like that's that's Friday. <v Speaker 5>Friday was the tape review and then like a practice <v Speaker 5>which eventually turned into make a deal Friday, We'll get into. <v Speaker 4>Internet lore and stuff. <v Speaker 6>And then Saturday would become this thing that like optional, <v Speaker 6>which was an optional because. <v Speaker 4>If you didn't show up to it you'd be buried <v Speaker 4>pretty much. <v Speaker 5>But that that, yeah, that all those options they say <v Speaker 5>options never optional option. For the most part, I felt <v Speaker 5>like we hadn't the majority of the weekends off that <v Speaker 5>unlike OVW did like a lot of live events. Yeah, <v Speaker 5>and when we go to o WW later we. <v Speaker 6>Experienced that that wound up being a demise of Deep South, <v Speaker 6>is that there was no live events like they're supposed <v Speaker 6>to be. <v Speaker 4>Getting us lives to get more experience. <v Speaker 6>But instead we're just having these like hillacious practices, breaking <v Speaker 6>our bodies down front of nobody. <v Speaker 4>Right these TVs. <v Speaker 5>Jody would always say, like there's the best diamond depend it, <v Speaker 5>but it's not an independent you're a ww developmental territory. <v Speaker 5>And like they they weren't really preparing you in a <v Speaker 5>sense for kids, having one match a week is not enough. <v Speaker 6>It's not fast track any when that's your career. It's <v Speaker 6>fine for a regular inny guy or something. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, for sure, Yeah you should be doing four. <v Speaker 5>You hear all these horror stories about Bill and like, <v Speaker 5>trust me, practices fucking sucked. They were miserable, they were scary, <v Speaker 5>and we went off for Christmas break. When we came <v Speaker 5>back out, I had like an anxiety. I didn't want <v Speaker 5>to go. I don't want to do this, Like but <v Speaker 5>you know it it shaped us and it made us <v Speaker 5>tougher and we you know, yeah that we could not <v Speaker 5>be like fucking bullshitted or bullied. So it was like <v Speaker 5>an invaluable lesson in that like. <v Speaker 6>We we became like unfucked with the ball because like <v Speaker 6>Deep South was so hard, like we can get through this, <v Speaker 6>Like you can get through like a rip or whatever, <v Speaker 6>you know what I mean. But the my favorite example <v Speaker 6>of a Deep South is Danny Inferno or Danny Jimondo <v Speaker 6>was like a he's a New Jersey indie guy. <v Speaker 4>Forever's OVW guy. <v Speaker 6>He got like traded or whatever they would do, like <v Speaker 6>talent exchanges. He came to Deep South and he did <v Speaker 6>the warm up and was. <v Speaker 4>Like, oh god, it's awesome practice. <v Speaker 6>Thanks really all right swinging there, and then everyone's like, dude, <v Speaker 6>that's just a warm up, bro, like we haven't even started. <v Speaker 4>Like oh my god, that's how like hallacious it was. <v Speaker 2>And now when you say that, what will give me <v Speaker 2>an example of warm up? I'm actually curious? <v Speaker 4>Full alright? <v Speaker 6>First off, two miles around the building, yep, you run outside, <v Speaker 6>you you put on like regular shoes, you run the <v Speaker 6>perimeter of the shopping center that was Deep South, yep. <v Speaker 6>Two miles back in this full stretch routine into like <v Speaker 6>one hundred squats, one hundreds, one hundred push ups into <v Speaker 6>like this rope running spot. <v Speaker 4>I mean, it's just like it's a two hours. <v Speaker 5>And this was everyone another mental another mental fuck. You know, <v Speaker 5>for me personally, was that okay, if you were Dave <v Speaker 5>Taylor's class that I'm making up these times they don't remember. <v Speaker 5>So let's say it was like ten to two or <v Speaker 5>ten to ten to twelve. You knew at twelve it <v Speaker 5>was over because then Bill's class started. If you're in <v Speaker 5>Bills class, antdoone who knows. You can't even check the <v Speaker 5>clock because you don't know what's gonna end. You don't <v Speaker 5>know what the practice is gonna be. It's never the same. <v Speaker 5>And like that, I'm not saying it should be the same. <v Speaker 5>I'm just saying, like the unexpected was a scary part <v Speaker 5>because you didn't know if he was gonna take it <v Speaker 5>easy on you that day, be fair with you, or <v Speaker 5>kick your fucking ass. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, it was like Bill. <v Speaker 6>Bill is weird in the sense that like if he <v Speaker 6>fucking hated you, he was hard on you, right like, <v Speaker 6>and he hated like Kenny Omega and Kevin. <v Speaker 4>Matthews or whatever, he was hard in them. <v Speaker 6>He like liked us a lot, and he was hard <v Speaker 6>as fucked on us, but like in a different way. <v Speaker 6>But it's equally I think talenting, you know, because he <v Speaker 6>expected more out of us because he liked us, or <v Speaker 6>he liked Gallows or whatever. <v Speaker 2>Why did he hate Kenny Omega and Cam. <v Speaker 4>I really don't have the answer to that. <v Speaker 7>I don't know how did they how did they determine <v Speaker 7>the classes? <v Speaker 4>I don't have answer to that either. <v Speaker 5>It would switch every once in a while we were <v Speaker 5>in both. <v Speaker 2>And then so you said, you named Kenny Omega and <v Speaker 2>km who else? So just who's who? <v Speaker 6>Luke Gallas, Cope, Kingston, TJ Naddy, m v P, Great Khali, <v Speaker 6>Ray Gordy, Ray Gordon, the Gemini, the Gemini, Eric Perez <v Speaker 6>Sonny Siaki Connor from the Ascension, Yeah, Mike Taylor, Tracy Taylor. <v Speaker 5>Angel, William J. <v Speaker 6>Williams, Mike Knox, Dontel Who is Taylor Wilder? <v Speaker 4>Bean baylist down there? <v Speaker 5>Brooke, Uh there, Smoker's the Coats, the Coats, the super Genie, Okay, <v Speaker 5>the super Genie. I mean, I'm sure we're there were <v Speaker 5>so many people. The mizz started there, Nikki from the Spirars. <v Speaker 4>Squad started there. One Nick Mitchell. <v Speaker 5>Oh, Michelle Cool, miche Coole start that striker. <v Speaker 2>All right, let's get to some questions here. Jamie Ogden <v Speaker 2>and he's starting out, Brosky Hot, what donuts was the <v Speaker 2>story with the donuts and naked gallows? Heard so many <v Speaker 2>rumors over the years. <v Speaker 4>We alluded to this. <v Speaker 5>So Thursday, it's a show. Let me brad Jay, let. <v Speaker 6>Me set this up in my like make a deal Friday. Okay, <v Speaker 6>we explained the schedule. You gotta paint the picture of this. <v Speaker 6>You've already trained. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, hellacious. Plus we left <v Speaker 6>out that Wednesday was promo day as well, so the <v Speaker 6>second half of Wednesday, you're cutting your promo that we <v Speaker 6>were told was going straight to the office. So in <v Speaker 6>our brains, like Vincent Man's watching this, he wasn't. But <v Speaker 6>that was the type of pressure it was. It was <v Speaker 6>a minute no fuck ups. If you fucked up, Bill. <v Speaker 4>Sent like you stuttering and being tore like that's what <v Speaker 4>he sent to the office. <v Speaker 5>So it was like high steaks, and in retrospect, I <v Speaker 5>do think it that's the way to do it. <v Speaker 4>I in my old age. I agree. <v Speaker 6>Okay, so high stakes, that's crazy. Then you come back <v Speaker 6>Thursday you do this show. This is another very important <v Speaker 6>aspect of this. Thursday night, pretty much everyone would go <v Speaker 6>out to this bar called Double D's and literally rage <v Speaker 6>because you're just like, you know, you just got through <v Speaker 6>the week, blah blah. You know you gotta come in <v Speaker 6>and do this tape review, which is like you're just <v Speaker 6>literally just showing up. <v Speaker 4>It's easier than anything you're gonna do. <v Speaker 6>All week, party, all night, show up at Like there <v Speaker 6>was like it was like eight am, you're showing up tape, <v Speaker 6>you sit through the state, you're getting bombarded. <v Speaker 4>You know, you're the shits. This was the blah blah blah, <v Speaker 4>like just eat it whatever. <v Speaker 6>Then it was either see you Monday, or it was <v Speaker 6>come back and we're having a practice. <v Speaker 2>Hm, and you might have a practice if like they <v Speaker 2>thought the show particular for sure, for sure. <v Speaker 4>For sure, for sure. Okay, so even before our time. <v Speaker 6>That practice people would pitch the bill like make a <v Speaker 6>deal Friday and the like, but it would be a <v Speaker 6>trade bill. Say bill would up say what are you <v Speaker 6>offering me for me to let you out of here? <v Speaker 6>Like like I didn't get something out of which it <v Speaker 6>meant humiliating yourself basically, you know for the most part, <v Speaker 6>or doing something insane. <v Speaker 4>Like there was one where, man, this is some story. <v Speaker 6>I think it was like Tony Santarelli's before a time, <v Speaker 6>he said, let's just do a thousand squats or something, <v Speaker 6>and they. <v Speaker 4>Like then everyone was like, I guess they were so defeated. <v Speaker 6>They're like, yeah, that just sounds he's having to practice <v Speaker 6>and and no, you know, like guys are collapsing and ship. <v Speaker 6>So that's where rat make a deal Friday. And that's <v Speaker 6>a let Brosky think over. That's a particular yes. <v Speaker 5>So the day before Thursday, it's it's Tommy swayed against <v Speaker 5>brad Jay. There's some sort of spot they want to do, <v Speaker 5>and Bill says they're gonna fuck it up, and they say, well, <v Speaker 5>we're not gonna suck it up. Something where if they <v Speaker 5>fuck it up they have to eat a bunch of <v Speaker 5>jelly donuts the next day. Tommy whatever, they fuck up <v Speaker 5>the spot, the next day, the jelly donuts are there, <v Speaker 5>and now's make a deal Friday. Now Buil didn't say, <v Speaker 5>Matt get in the corner and and and and Drew <v Speaker 5>pull down your pants, and I think it's happened. <v Speaker 6>Oh, I'm just realizing now a lot of us is <v Speaker 6>to blame on brad Jay for being a little bit <v Speaker 6>because he ate like three of them, and there was <v Speaker 6>all these donuts left where he was supposed to eat <v Speaker 6>them as his punishment for blowing a spot. <v Speaker 5>So I remember the initial. <v Speaker 2>Three jelly donuts is a lot of donuts. <v Speaker 5>Well, okay, the initial pitch for making deal is like <v Speaker 5>I lay there like the mat and we put the <v Speaker 5>jelly donuts on me and GALLASI just gives me like <v Speaker 5>an Ultimate. <v Speaker 4>Warriors splash and just they explode. <v Speaker 5>So like, I think that's the original pitch, which snowballs <v Speaker 5>in negotiation, which leads to me sitting in the corner, <v Speaker 5>Melissa Coates sitting in the opposite corner with jelly donuts <v Speaker 5>in our mouths, and Luke Gallows the freaking deacon naked <v Speaker 5>giving us naked stick faces like Squisher in the face <v Speaker 5>into the jelly donuts and then back and forth until <v Speaker 5>the donuts are done full. <v Speaker 6>Blown omaga like running but Squishers like with his like <v Speaker 6>genitals covering two heads which he doesn't and he's doing <v Speaker 6>this to a female. Yes, now, this is gonna sound crazy, <v Speaker 6>and it does absolutely sound like a crazy story. <v Speaker 4>But we're all so like defeated. <v Speaker 6>I guess like this sounds like a more rational decision then, <v Speaker 6>like than just getting your ass kicked and taking bumps. <v Speaker 5>And like we're all we're all laughing. This isn't like, <v Speaker 5>oh my god, I have to do this like that. <v Speaker 5>It wasn't like this bullying thing whatsoever. <v Speaker 6>More than actually if anything was like a camaraderie thing <v Speaker 6>or everyone's like, oh hell yeah, taking one for the team. <v Speaker 2>Or whatever, sounds like a military thing. <v Speaker 4>It sounds like military as much what deep stuff was like. <v Speaker 4>And I never been in the military. <v Speaker 5>But so someone with their their razor phone or whatever <v Speaker 5>took a picture of it, and then years later it <v Speaker 5>ended up on the There are a lot of. <v Speaker 6>People taking pic It was like people just in the <v Speaker 6>front row sta like the community. <v Speaker 5>Later ends up on the internet. So you know, people <v Speaker 5>ask me about that all the time. Like we were <v Speaker 5>not bullied or forced doing that. It was kind of <v Speaker 5>like our idea that snowballed into that and the guys <v Speaker 5>had a practice. So I don't regret it. I would <v Speaker 5>do a big thing. <v Speaker 2>Did you get a lot of drinks paid for that night? <v Speaker 4>Probably? <v Speaker 6>I'm sure we went out rage I mean a big <v Speaker 6>thing about Deep South, and like bro Sky. <v Speaker 4>I would never do it because we were twenty one <v Speaker 4>and like we just we. <v Speaker 6>Didn't know anything. We knew we were green and we <v Speaker 6>were just doing we were told no matter what. So <v Speaker 6>we didn't like complain was some of these people would <v Speaker 6>just write emails behind Bill or Jodie's back and send <v Speaker 6>him like anonymous emails to John Yeace and say like <v Speaker 6>this is what's going on deep sound. You got to <v Speaker 6>put a stop to this, and the just cause more <v Speaker 6>and more problems and almost like never ending. <v Speaker 2>Would would that pissed Bill off? <v Speaker 5>More? <v Speaker 6>Print them out and hang them in the locker room <v Speaker 6>and like ship like that, and like we were walking <v Speaker 6>into this like our first week, like what on earth? <v Speaker 5>What are some of the other maked deals? <v Speaker 4>I mean, is it? <v Speaker 2>Is it all craziness like this? <v Speaker 5>Uh? <v Speaker 6>I remember one time we had these like crazy We <v Speaker 6>stole shopping carts from a store next door and we <v Speaker 6>had shopping cart races. <v Speaker 4>Instead of doing the run like I said in the morning, <v Speaker 4>we had a race. <v Speaker 6>We'd put your partner in the shopping cart and get <v Speaker 6>around the building and beat each other and ra. <v Speaker 5>It was one I think it's brad Jay's birthday and <v Speaker 5>he's he wears like Chrissy's skirt and he's doing up <v Speaker 5>and overs and then someone's smacking his ass. Yeah remember that? <v Speaker 4>Yeah weird? <v Speaker 6>I remember remember one where we had to like stick <v Speaker 6>quarters in our ass. With with like our gym shorts, <v Speaker 6>not like up your bottle, but between the cheeks and <v Speaker 6>and try to walk like a relay race, try to <v Speaker 6>run or whatever you could do cross the way and <v Speaker 6>try to drop it in a solo cup and you <v Speaker 6>had like a team and you'd run back at tech <v Speaker 6>the first and next wrests would go until like you <v Speaker 6>made a dollar in the cup. <v Speaker 2>My god, did you ever fail and then have to <v Speaker 2>have practice? <v Speaker 4>I'm sure, dude, I literally, I'm not kidding. <v Speaker 6>And maybe we sound nuts or like pussy's, but the <v Speaker 6>South was so hard you would just like black out, <v Speaker 6>like you just black out and get through it, like <v Speaker 6>I can't explain it. <v Speaker 7>Like so if you guys didn't do it, if you <v Speaker 7>guys didn't have a deal for Bill, he would just <v Speaker 7>go nope, yeah, okay, so he wouldn't always take the deal. <v Speaker 5>Oh no, no, no, That's why I got it as extreme. <v Speaker 5>Is the thing that I found out hearing to have <v Speaker 5>a naked man ask in your face while you're eating <v Speaker 5>a don't man. <v Speaker 6>The thing I found out years later that was like <v Speaker 6>disheartening was that Bill would like bury us about nake <v Speaker 6>a deal when like I was saying before it was <v Speaker 6>like to us, it was like this camaraderie thing where <v Speaker 6>everyone like would almost be joyous to get out of <v Speaker 6>practice and it was fun whatever I was laughing, you <v Speaker 6>know it was. It was never like malicious at all, <v Speaker 6>you know, and it brought everyone together. <v Speaker 4>But then when like Bob Holly or Ben, we will <v Speaker 4>come down behind our back. <v Speaker 6>And like these kids are such little bitches. This is <v Speaker 6>what they're willing to do. Like he turned into that, <v Speaker 6>which was not fun. <v Speaker 4>Way to look at it. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, yeahs change you know that kind of stuff which <v Speaker 6>just sucked. <v Speaker 2>You described some things that reminded me a lot of <v Speaker 2>my first couple of years at CAP. Obviously you weren't <v Speaker 2>training with us like that hard as hard as you're describing. <v Speaker 2>But did you take a lot of the beats because <v Speaker 2>you did used to make us run around the building <v Speaker 2>in our wrestling boots. You did. <v Speaker 4>That's like one quarter yeah right. <v Speaker 2>But basically you kind of took it and made it <v Speaker 2>more civilized. <v Speaker 4>Yes, there's plenty of things. <v Speaker 2>As we do a stretch, things. <v Speaker 6>Clarify that a year and the Deep South Bill gets <v Speaker 6>fired and we get a couple of months a doctor <v Speaker 6>Tom who I got a year of an FCW when <v Speaker 6>he to me is like the greatest wrestling trainer of <v Speaker 6>all time and that's why I stole all my coaching <v Speaker 6>stuff from IC. <v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, yeah, all right, So we're twenty four minutes <v Speaker 2>in and we got one question in Jesus Brett Van, <v Speaker 2>what was the hardest adjustment from just being an indie <v Speaker 2>guy to having a developmental contract? <v Speaker 4>There was nothing because we were so green. We were nothing. <v Speaker 6>We were literally we couldn't have been less than nothing, <v Speaker 6>like we didn't we had no experiences. <v Speaker 4>We had, you know, training with Mikey whipbreak. That was it. <v Speaker 6>And I think that helpless because Bill liked Mikey and <v Speaker 6>that like gave us some credibility with him, and I <v Speaker 6>think that's why we started off on a good foot <v Speaker 6>with him. <v Speaker 5>I think everything was positives. There was nothing, you know, <v Speaker 5>for me, I never lived away from home before, so <v Speaker 5>this was like my college, so there was nothing like <v Speaker 5>I was never homesick, nothing, nothing like that was all <v Speaker 5>just everything just felt like a natural progression, whether it <v Speaker 5>be like the training every day, and like Brian kept saying, <v Speaker 5>like we were so green that I was like, Okay, <v Speaker 5>it's this fucking hard. But I guess this is what <v Speaker 5>WWE training is, right. <v Speaker 4>You know, like like we didn't know we're options, you know. <v Speaker 5>Like right, so like we didn't complain, Like maybe we <v Speaker 5>were complaining you know to our friends like once the <v Speaker 5>practice was over, you know, with within like our little <v Speaker 5>inner circle, but never like writing letters or complaining to <v Speaker 5>Bill or complaining or talking back to Bill, you know, <v Speaker 5>like right, that was it. It was hard, it sucked, <v Speaker 5>and you just had to do it. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, there wasn't really like another option for us, like <v Speaker 6>his quitting was obviously wasn't an option. <v Speaker 4>So that's it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, this is a great question, Kevin Petruzilio. Is there <v Speaker 2>anyone from your developmental days where you thought they had <v Speaker 2>no chance of becoming a ww wrestling superstar who actually <v Speaker 2>did make it? <v Speaker 4>I mean, that's a rough one to call someone out on. <v Speaker 2>Well they well they're obviously a star now, so it <v Speaker 2>didn't matter what you thought. <v Speaker 5>I wouldn't say that. I mean, I can say I <v Speaker 5>definitely didn't think keny Omega would be as big as <v Speaker 5>he has become, But that's not saying I didn't see <v Speaker 5>anything in him, because he was super talented and super. <v Speaker 4>Just like one of those things that could sell Bill <v Speaker 4>doesn't like this guy. He's like really not gonna right. <v Speaker 2>I see, he was. <v Speaker 5>Somebody who was always like doing outside the box promos <v Speaker 5>and very entertaining, and his style was different. <v Speaker 6>I think it's like the opposite of that question, like <v Speaker 6>how did some of these people not become star? <v Speaker 5>That I think is the better question. <v Speaker 6>How did Kevin Matthews never shake out his six' four <v Speaker 6>can cut a? <v Speaker 4>Promo? Handsome? <v Speaker 5>Like there was this team high Impact Mike taylor And <v Speaker 5>tony San durelli would WHO i really believe we're going <v Speaker 5>to be the Next Hardy. <v Speaker 6>Boys, yeah and they're like and they actually really, helped <v Speaker 6>like we kind of pattern ourselves after them a little <v Speaker 6>bit to like see how they. Were it's because they <v Speaker 6>were like the top team the deep stuff when we got, <v Speaker 6>there so we, Currently, okay they're the top baby team <v Speaker 6>and that's what we want to. Be so we kind <v Speaker 6>of LIKE i don't want to say, idolized but definitely like. <v Speaker 4>Emulated. Right. <v Speaker 5>YEAH i don't think there's anybody WHO i thought like <v Speaker 5>isn't gonna make it and then made. IT i just, <v Speaker 5>think LIKE i, said, like how can you predict that <v Speaker 5>someone's gonna become like one of the biggest names in the. <v Speaker 5>Business like that's. Tough, yeah you, know like Even, Kofe <v Speaker 5>like we Knew kobe had, it WOULD, i you, know <v Speaker 5>predict he go on to be like how many has <v Speaker 5>been a champion IN wwe like some things that are <v Speaker 5>like almost, Unpredictable like you know he's gonna be, good <v Speaker 5>but you can't predict how, good you know for? <v Speaker 2>Sure Cool Bailey. Sumner we've heard some Funny Deep south <v Speaker 2>AND fcw. Stories well what's your? Pieces what's your BEST ovw? <v Speaker 2>Story but, WELL i guess we'll just put it, here <v Speaker 2>like something that we haven't mentioned so, far you, Know, <v Speaker 2>okay let me just say this. Too, guys there's a <v Speaker 2>really great vlog on our. YouTube i feel like it's <v Speaker 2>a companion piece to. THIS i feel like you should <v Speaker 2>go pause this right. Now go watch this. Vlog it's twenty. <v Speaker 2>Minutes these guys do a toy hunt in. McDonough they <v Speaker 2>actually visit the school. <v Speaker 4>And where we used to like legit toy hunt. <v Speaker 2>And they try to find their. Apartments so it's like. <v Speaker 4>We can't find an apartment we live in for a. <v Speaker 2>Year you get some really cool visuals for. THIS i <v Speaker 2>think it's a great companion piece to like watch it <v Speaker 2>like right now or. After it's, Great so check that. <v Speaker 2>Out but maybe some unrelated FUNNY ovw. <v Speaker 6>Story oh, weew it's our fault and It's i'm Gonna <v Speaker 6>i'm not ready to take full blame for, it BUT <v Speaker 6>i will say it's a mutual thing Where alice now <v Speaker 6>did not like us and we didn't want to be. <v Speaker 4>There so this is a terrible. <v Speaker 2>Combo, okay, well, actually before you you do, This, yeah <v Speaker 2>when do you get TO? Ovw how does that even <v Speaker 2>that's like a? <v Speaker 4>Year a year into, it we do exactly a year <v Speaker 4>In Deep. <v Speaker 5>South Deep south closes in on the dot based like almost. <v Speaker 6>Exact, yeah my, GOD i have so many questions in <v Speaker 6>my mind to come, down like what rot say we <v Speaker 6>Drove may, Fifteenth we debut ON Tv may first or? <v Speaker 4>Second first? <v Speaker 5>Second, yes so it closes. Down long story, Short we're <v Speaker 5>told that the majority of the people are moving To <v Speaker 5>tampa to START, scw and that a handful of us. <v Speaker 6>Are going on said the sixth MOST tv ready, talents <v Speaker 6>we want to continue working so they're ready to be <v Speaker 6>called up like asap or you, know in case that <v Speaker 6>Likenke vince wanted, talent So Us jesse And, Festus Brad <v Speaker 6>jay And angelie The love all reported In. Louisville everybody <v Speaker 6>else went to what would BECOME, fcl but it was literally. <v Speaker 4>Nothing they just moved To tampa with no. <v Speaker 5>Direction and in that that week or two of the <v Speaker 5>move To, louisville we get called, up so we debut <v Speaker 5>and then have to go to another. Developmental so that's <v Speaker 5>like we're already in like a bed a mind. <v Speaker 4>Fuck it's, like, okay, well what are we really doing? <v Speaker 4>Here like you, know we're not rolling going to be <v Speaker 4>here a couple of, months which we should have like <v Speaker 4>put the pedals of the net on and been like, okay, <v Speaker 4>cool instead of being like we shouldn't be, here which <v Speaker 4>is ridiculous because right we're still green as. <v Speaker 5>Shit another thing THAT i said on like the, podcast <v Speaker 5>on THE mc story, podcast because like we're doing these <v Speaker 5>kick ass rock and roll express style and matches With <v Speaker 5>Robert gibson and then like on the road they're very <v Speaker 5>is the, time they're super strict with like the five <v Speaker 5>count and LIKE dq and. Guys so we weren't like <v Speaker 5>we were like contradicting, ourselves like we weren't getting the <v Speaker 5>proper reps in we felt that, way you, know we. <v Speaker 6>Should also like clarify. That and this goes to those <v Speaker 6>a lot of those deep ceuth stories were just still to. <v Speaker 6>It there is a massive disconnect at this point in <v Speaker 6>what we're doing About Mental nwwe like we're a branch <v Speaker 6>of their. Business but like they were the business. Model <v Speaker 6>then it's NOT. Nxt it's not their thing that they <v Speaker 6>own and have control. Of it's Literally Jody Hamilton's Deep South, <v Speaker 6>wrestling It's Danny DAVIS'S ovw that they're leasing and using <v Speaker 6>for their talent to work. At, Right so like those <v Speaker 6>guys weren't delusional to a degree because they did have <v Speaker 6>control of these. Companies Like broski, Said jody would give <v Speaker 6>us the speeches at the end of very show. <v Speaker 4>Like we're the best goddamn independent going. <v Speaker 6>Today and it's like real, confusing but, right and LIKE i, <v Speaker 6>said we've got those you, know your promo Day Like <v Speaker 6>i'm thinking of my, mind oh, man all the writers <v Speaker 6>are just gathering around watching all these major brother promos <v Speaker 6>and like there's no, way you know. <v Speaker 4>WHAT i, mean or watching the TVs or What there's <v Speaker 4>there's no, way all. <v Speaker 2>Right so so BEST ovw. <v Speaker 6>Story so for, me LIKE i, SAID ovw was not, <v Speaker 6>enjoyable partially because we did it to ourselves and we were. <v Speaker 4>Checked out and wanted to take get out of. There. <v Speaker 6>Mmm but the best part of OB w was the <v Speaker 6>like the partying and the camaraderie and the friendship and. <v Speaker 4>Stuff you. <v Speaker 6>Know we befriended Kaylen, croft who's like still one of <v Speaker 6>my good friends this day CALLED thea was like in <v Speaker 6>the in a very similar were all over there like <v Speaker 6>the first, same first, week and. <v Speaker 4>That's how we became like really tight with. Him you, <v Speaker 4>know when did. <v Speaker 7>You guys get to know and become close With? <v Speaker 4>Trent that's we started way. <v Speaker 5>Before that's before, okay but did it happen? <v Speaker 6>Again trent was at our training school and he was like, <v Speaker 6>seven illegally training. <v Speaker 4>Basically. <v Speaker 2>Yeah so and then he got signed and was just <v Speaker 2>with you. <v Speaker 4>Guys know he he gets, signed go straight to f C. <v Speaker 4>W i. <v Speaker 2>See, Okay, okay that's that's WHERE i. <v Speaker 5>GOT i. DON'T i don't have many good OB w, <v Speaker 5>stories AS i fucking hated. <v Speaker 4>IT i hate Like bruski said that that that. <v Speaker 6>Count was a big thing on the, road like literally <v Speaker 6>like Ben wah got thrown, out thrown out live ON <v Speaker 6>tv when it might be one of his second to <v Speaker 6>last match, ever like he's shoot thrown out real life <v Speaker 6>ON tv ON tv the ref ends and match live ON, <v Speaker 6>TV a tag match made him AT vcw because that's <v Speaker 6>how Strick vince wanted the tag. Rules and we're doing <v Speaker 6>thirty five seconds and there's the disconnect four. Man we <v Speaker 6>know that message because we're on the road living. It <v Speaker 6>we come back TO o W, w We're Robert, Gibson <v Speaker 6>La La land but no offense to. Them he doesn't know, <v Speaker 6>this he doesn't know that this is one and when <v Speaker 6>we're trying to tell him, this, yeah we looked like <v Speaker 6>assholes at least twenty. Two you, know old punks are <v Speaker 6>Telling Robert gibson what to, do especially. <v Speaker 5>A tag team. <v Speaker 6>Mate but that's not like we're this is a bad <v Speaker 6>spot to be, in just a terrible. <v Speaker 5>Spot my FAVORITE obw memories WHEN i bought the ENTIRE <v Speaker 5>lja and. <v Speaker 4>Collection that WAS i still remember that. Too in our part. <v Speaker 6>All, right, yeah that was like you know WHAT i <v Speaker 6>said about like Deep, south we went and like a <v Speaker 6>furniture and try to live. There like we purposely got <v Speaker 6>this apartment With brad j because we were, like we <v Speaker 6>are out of here as soon as we get. <v Speaker 5>Out of, it get me at. It so. <v Speaker 1>All. <v Speaker 2>Right Jamie ogden thoughts on training With Build. DeMont i <v Speaker 2>mean you kind of talked about, It we really covered. <v Speaker 5>A lot of it was LIKE i loved. IT i <v Speaker 5>hated it at the, time BUT i don't regret. IT <v Speaker 5>i don't regret it, because LIKE i, said it made us, tough, <v Speaker 5>right and it's one of those things THAT i WOULD <v Speaker 5>i would do. Again there's nobody In Deep south wrestling <v Speaker 5>that would have got called up to the main roster <v Speaker 5>would have blew up or you know What i'm, Saying, yeah. <v Speaker 4>You never blow, up not EVEN i wasn't even on <v Speaker 4>the in the. <v Speaker 6>Cards the main THING i got out of, That AND <v Speaker 6>i think like we were lucky to be twenty two <v Speaker 6>where some of these dudes were like shoot, men like legit, <v Speaker 6>men you know WHAT i, Mean Like Johnny swinger's there <v Speaker 6>like with us and These Sunny sackey these guys are grown. <v Speaker 6>Ups so and WHEN i think of that now as <v Speaker 6>a wrestling, coach some of the insanely unnecessary, bumps like <v Speaker 6>NonStop all, day every day was just, crazy AND i <v Speaker 6>think we were able to do because we were just <v Speaker 6>so young and. DUMB i don't know how it would <v Speaker 6>have done it. OTHERWISE i remember. <v Speaker 5>There was one drill that ends in like a double <v Speaker 5>punch or double clothesliners like. <v Speaker 4>It like it was it was just stuff to like <v Speaker 4>just make the hours of the day go. By but <v Speaker 4>it just was so, dumb like just. <v Speaker 6>Take a clothes, line pick them, up duck one sun to, <v Speaker 6>flip take a, clothesline. <v Speaker 4>Like just ten. Times he's just getting drilled with these <v Speaker 4>clotheslines like Multi it's just. <v Speaker 6>Bizarre that doesn't make. It that doesn't make you any, <v Speaker 6>better and LIKE i, said you. Can't it just makes <v Speaker 6>the kind of makes the clock ticking in the. <v Speaker 5>DAY i GUESS i will say that IF i had <v Speaker 5>to do A Deep south practice, TODAY i probably. <v Speaker 6>DIE i don't THINK i consider myself a very good ring. <v Speaker 6>SHORE i don't THINK i could just everything that goes INTO. <v Speaker 4>I don't THINK i could do the warm. <v Speaker 5>UP i don't THINK i can do the three minute <v Speaker 5>running the ropes with the whistle blowing and the drop. <v Speaker 4>Down have about the first. <v Speaker 6>THING i was just thinking this when we're talking about, <v Speaker 6>it that dick buyer spot ends with getting drop kicked <v Speaker 6>ticked over the. <v Speaker 4>Top one of the first things you. <v Speaker 5>Do first you take, it you're taking that that monkey, <v Speaker 5>flip the one where you're runner of the guy like <v Speaker 5>that like does the back roll monkey flips you and <v Speaker 5>then you drop kick the guy over the top. Rope <v Speaker 5>that's actually A Dave taylor. <v Speaker 6>But like we did it every, day like eight, am <v Speaker 6>get drop kicks over the, Top like the first thing you, <v Speaker 6>do like the, boom the back flip to either drop <v Speaker 6>kick to the chest so that momentum shoots you over <v Speaker 6>the top. <v Speaker 4>Backwards what's the monkey? <v Speaker 5>Flip When i'm not you know where someone does a? <v Speaker 5>Leap probably the like rolls Back eddie. Style jesus, right <v Speaker 5>that's a fucking dangerous. Bump, yeah there's the reason WHY <v Speaker 5>i know one does that. BUMPYN'T i haven't done that? <v Speaker 2>Since, Okay Anthony, dandria he weirded this very, weirdly but <v Speaker 2>he's basically asking in your times, there like on the live, <v Speaker 2>shows what was your favorite and then maybe least favorite <v Speaker 2>match that you could remember my least. <v Speaker 6>FAVORITE i was just talking And drew About gallows When <v Speaker 6>Eric press faked an. <v Speaker 5>INJURY i Love, ERIC i love you you're great At shaven, <v Speaker 5>next but fuck you for this. <v Speaker 4>Desk this is one of the weirdest things of all. <v Speaker 5>Times So nova is, down who is now in control <v Speaker 5>of developmentals. <v Speaker 6>This way through our development at the, Time dreamer becomes <v Speaker 6>talent BECAUSE ecw restarts And, nova who at the time <v Speaker 6>As Simon, dean becomes our. <v Speaker 5>Boss so he's there like scouting right Before christmas break <v Speaker 5>and with this BIG i, SAY i say, big but <v Speaker 5>it's the main, event felt. <v Speaker 4>Big, no, no, no we're not the main. Event we're the. <v Speaker 6>Opener drew And Brotess claire supposed to get into. It <v Speaker 6>that creates the main, event and we're all in their. <v Speaker 4>Corner they're in our. Corner, okay we have a two <v Speaker 4>sag tag. <v Speaker 6>Opener it culminates in gallows And Burtus clay going into <v Speaker 6>it on the outside that gets thrown out and that <v Speaker 6>makes them the main. Event And Eric prez like just <v Speaker 6>decided to fake an injury without telling us the ref <v Speaker 6>his partner not relaying any messages and like just. <v Speaker 4>Ruin this completely ruined this match. <v Speaker 5>Because this DAY i don't know. Why because then then <v Speaker 5>G rilla or you, know G, money G rilla And <v Speaker 5>Burtus clay And Luke Gallis. Festus they start brawling because they, <v Speaker 5>think Like eric's really, hurt let's go to the. <v Speaker 4>SPOT i, think just go. <v Speaker 6>Home they brawled and they stopped like, hah and they <v Speaker 6>watched like the match and they look. <v Speaker 4>Stupid then they go back to brawling like it's a. <v Speaker 4>Mess it's a freaking. Mess then we get to the <v Speaker 4>back of everyone's going, nuts like what the fuck was <v Speaker 4>that all the Ship and then for some, reason. <v Speaker 6>Like the answer, was, well, now you, Guys that's WHY <v Speaker 6>i was talking about With, Drew like the answer, was <v Speaker 6>now you guys go out there and just throw it. <v Speaker 6>Down and Like brotus And gallows had like AN mma <v Speaker 6>fight in the main, event like just wailing on each. <v Speaker 4>Other i'm like to try to like save. <v Speaker 6>FACE i guess it's LIKE i guess it's like kind <v Speaker 6>of get it because it's such a embarrassing, showing like, yeah. <v Speaker 5>Wow baby. MATCH i Think i'm not saying it just <v Speaker 5>because we won the tag team, titles but when we <v Speaker 5>win the tag team titles from Like duce And, domino <v Speaker 5>because it was kind of like it's kind of like, <v Speaker 5>unexpected like all of a, sudden like they're giving us the. <v Speaker 5>Opportunity it was Like ducen And domino come down and <v Speaker 5>they're THE obw, champs and then they win The Deep <v Speaker 5>south titles and then we beat them for The Deep south, <v Speaker 5>titles which is kind of like out of. <v Speaker 2>Nowhere that's. <v Speaker 6>Cool and then even prior to, THAT i think one <v Speaker 6>of my favorite was we like our first time gett <v Speaker 6>an opportunity to do like the big, shows we would <v Speaker 6>have A Deep south and we probably did like four <v Speaker 6>this whole Time we're at Six. <v Speaker 4>Flags were wrestle in front of The batman, thing which <v Speaker 4>was pretty. <v Speaker 6>Cool, Yeah and the first time we ever got to <v Speaker 6>like really do, one we had like a twenty minute tag. <v Speaker 4>Match With Sunny siaki And Eric. <v Speaker 6>Perez it was like the first time we got a <v Speaker 6>chance to like really kind of go and like see <v Speaker 6>where we're. <v Speaker 4>AT i think that like propelled this big. Time AND <v Speaker 4>i always get props To Sunny. <v Speaker 6>SAYAKI i think he's someone that like really us out <v Speaker 6>of our shell because like the Way Deep south was <v Speaker 6>like like LIKE i was talking about like no, punching no, Kick, <v Speaker 6>no it's not like all those rules like we'd be <v Speaker 6>calling something and like just call, something not all that <v Speaker 6>exciting and, sunny so can be no fuck that. Ship you, <v Speaker 6>Know i'm FROM, tna but we ain't doing that. Shit <v Speaker 6>no money make us like get out of our shell <v Speaker 6>and be a little more. Risky i'm from you would <v Speaker 6>say that this one's a great. One being born and <v Speaker 6>raised On Long, island what was it like living down? <v Speaker 2>South holy? Shit what was some of the biggest cultural? <v Speaker 2>DIFFERENCES i love it, WELL i could See brian like. <v Speaker 5>It, NO i loved it as. FUN i have fond. <v Speaker 4>Memories but it was a. <v Speaker 6>Pain and he really like none of us could afford <v Speaker 6>like car, service and like we'd have to get like <v Speaker 6>a D d or whatever you, know. <v Speaker 2>What about like like what about uh like cultures or <v Speaker 2>like people moving? Slower that was like. <v Speaker 4>Unreal everyone's polite to hold the door for. <v Speaker 6>YOU i fell in love with WHICH i haven't had <v Speaker 6>in years BECAUSE i realized it's just pure, sugar like sweet. <v Speaker 4>Tea i'll just got like a sweet tea. Everywhere it <v Speaker 4>was because it's just like we still got new. <v Speaker 2>RELATIONOUS i didn't realize when you were twenty years. OLD <v Speaker 2>i MEAN i have. <v Speaker 4>That my ass jiggles for a, WEEK i, LIKE. <v Speaker 5>I, LOVED i loved like you, know this is my <v Speaker 5>first time living alone and you, know being, able you, <v Speaker 5>know to do WHATEVER i wanted to, do or spend <v Speaker 5>my money on WHATEVER i want to spend my money. <v Speaker 5>On or The walmart was twenty four hours and we <v Speaker 5>would go our. <v Speaker 4>MINDS i don't have those and they still don't have <v Speaker 4>those appen. <v Speaker 5>Going like at midnight when the new figures have put, <v Speaker 5>out are LIKE dB nights before it was The tuesday <v Speaker 5>re release OR i mean. Release we'd go and get. <v Speaker 2>DVDs, man this is really. <v Speaker 6>Fun our schedule would be whatever eight, am you, know <v Speaker 6>get up at seven seven thirty eight, am, practice get <v Speaker 6>out of like noon noon, one literally eat whatever we <v Speaker 6>wanted because we burned seven thousand, calories it didn't. Matter <v Speaker 6>we'd eat whatever we wanted to pass, out shower and <v Speaker 6>just pass, out wake up at like five six a, <v Speaker 6>dinner go to this goals which actually the goals aren't. <v Speaker 4>Done it still. There it's pretty sick, golds big awesome, <v Speaker 4>goals and then that would then go like cruise The. <v Speaker 6>Walmart it was a great little like schedule that we, <v Speaker 6>had just like on, repeat especially for two. <v Speaker 2>Kids Steve, hooker anyone you remember being in developmental with <v Speaker 2>you didn't think was going to make. It why everyone <v Speaker 2>got this, question same, Question Steve. Thornton FEW fcw questions For. Brian, <v Speaker 2>oh we didn't even get TO, fcwm so you'd want <v Speaker 2>to just before we answer that question. Late you, know <v Speaker 2>Obviously matt never gets another developmental sit. You, well, Actually, <v Speaker 2>MATT i, MEAN i guess you're n. <v Speaker 4>Times not, really we're even going to a practic fucked, <v Speaker 4>yeah all, right practice. <v Speaker 2>Now you're so you tell me about THIS fcw. THING i, <v Speaker 2>mean you've mentioned this many, times but let's just break it. <v Speaker 4>Down so we win the tag team Titles hawkins And <v Speaker 4>rider and whatever that. Is july oh. Eight we lose Them, september. <v Speaker 6>And very shortly after they're, Like vince wants to split <v Speaker 6>you guys, up and we're like okay for what and they're, <v Speaker 6>like we don't. Know and then they're, like we'd come <v Speaker 6>TO tv and they'd be like, no next week or next. <v Speaker 6>Time we were still working as a, team but just <v Speaker 6>put people over and it's killed. Whatever, finally like if <v Speaker 6>you can jerk around with this like for so long <v Speaker 6>after wrestling at twenty, five so we're talking, like oh <v Speaker 6>what like like six months of. This plus they have <v Speaker 6>a draft where he gets sent TO tcw AND i <v Speaker 6>stay and smacked. <v Speaker 4>Us so now we're truly. Split, yes like he And <v Speaker 4>brusk can correct me If i'm. <v Speaker 6>Wrong he had this vision of being the Like guido, <v Speaker 6>guy and he pitched it probably like that day we got. <v Speaker 4>Drafted and THEN i remember kind of having a conversation <v Speaker 4>with and this is the WAY i look back on. <v Speaker 4>IT i could be just making this up my. Mind <v Speaker 4>the CHARACTER i, HAD i really. <v Speaker 6>Had no, vision but the only THING i kind of <v Speaker 6>had was literally and ONCE i met, him like a <v Speaker 6>couple of weeks, LATER i, realized, like oh my, god <v Speaker 6>pitch this guy's exact. GAME i wanted to be Like Alex, <v Speaker 6>riley like the varsity villain type, style like letterman, jacket. <v Speaker 4>Like a like a, bully like you, know bully quarterback. <v Speaker 6>Guy but he was literally doing that and he's like <v Speaker 6>taller than, me more, jacked and fit the part way <v Speaker 6>more THAN i. <v Speaker 4>Did AND i was, like, oh, okay. <v Speaker 6>That was like and that was like even the WAY <v Speaker 6>i described that was probably more in detail than WHATEVER <v Speaker 6>i said to the writer that asked. <v Speaker 4>Me so that. <v Speaker 6>That coincided with not getting, travel so it was like <v Speaker 6>the draft that was like AT, msg So knox wrestles <v Speaker 6>rick your teeth in the, dark that's that, draft or <v Speaker 6>like it's that that's the last TIME i ever went, <v Speaker 6>Okay and THEN i just didn't have travel, anymore AND <v Speaker 6>i was, like, Whoa i've been around long enough to <v Speaker 6>know what that. <v Speaker 4>Means like this is not. <v Speaker 6>Good AND i Called Johnny ason just said, HEY i, <v Speaker 6>know LIKE i can only write so many, emails so <v Speaker 6>you guys are gonna use, me and he basically told <v Speaker 6>me it was, nice like he, said no one thinks you. <v Speaker 6>Suck we just don't know what to do with you <v Speaker 6>kind of. Thing SO i was, like, Well i'll just, <v Speaker 6>Dude i'm like twenty. THREE i was, Like i'll just <v Speaker 6>move TO. FCW i, Said i'll outwork every guy you <v Speaker 6>got and proved to, everyone showing them WHAT i could. <v Speaker 6>Do at Least i'll get the reps and be seen <v Speaker 6>in some capacity. There Like i'm just gonna get fired <v Speaker 6>AND i stay. Home john's, like all, right fair, enough he, <v Speaker 6>Goes but we're not paying you because we're not sending you, there, <v Speaker 6>Right so that's fine, Whatever. <v Speaker 2>But you're getting paid to Be you're being paid your, <v Speaker 2>downside you, know. <v Speaker 4>Because we got our downsides were so. <v Speaker 6>Low we got most of that in one check from <v Speaker 6>the video, game SO i had that to like live <v Speaker 6>off of basically and like bet on. <v Speaker 2>Myself, right, yeah so you at least could, live, yes, live, <v Speaker 2>yes but no money coming in. <v Speaker 4>Whatsoever but you. <v Speaker 2>Had to did you have to live kind of cheaply <v Speaker 2>while you were? <v Speaker 4>THERE i, MEAN i MEAN i Knew trent was like <v Speaker 4>one of my best, friends the guys we started, with <v Speaker 4>AND i was, LIKE i basically bullied him into getting <v Speaker 4>a new apartment with me because he had a one. <v Speaker 4>Bedroom and then we got like a new nice apartment <v Speaker 4>and that was. It we were off and. RUNNING i, <v Speaker 4>MEAN i love it was one of the best decisions <v Speaker 4>of my life and really and then my own. <v Speaker 6>Horn but LIKE i already had a pretty good grasp <v Speaker 6>of like, working but from being there it working with <v Speaker 6>like crazy green guys like you, know Dave O tongua <v Speaker 6>in his third match or, whatever second, match And i'm <v Speaker 6>pulling them up to my. <v Speaker 4>Level it was a whole other learning. <v Speaker 6>Experience and the real thing THAT i got AT fcw <v Speaker 6>that was invaluable THAT i think really saved my career <v Speaker 6>was working With dusty on promos and. <v Speaker 4>Stuff so he gave me that confidence THAT i absolutely <v Speaker 4>did not have. <v Speaker 2>Before and who's IN fcw when you're, THERE i. <v Speaker 6>Mean, everyone everybody in The, nexus those, Guys, Trent Trent. Croft, <v Speaker 6>Uh that's that's how we Become. <v Speaker 2>What's the Dude? <v Speaker 6>Busters The Dude busters is Really trent And nice IN nywc, <v Speaker 6>okay and Then trent like re used the name. <v Speaker 2>IN, ww and then it was just you And trent <v Speaker 2>And croft and you and like for. <v Speaker 4>A time IN, FCW i joined and it was like <v Speaker 4>a free bird style thing and we become the tag <v Speaker 4>champs and we worked. YOU i worked you then that's, <v Speaker 4>true and don't, NO i think It's Rye. Back it is. <v Speaker 2>Right and at this while you're IN, fcw you have <v Speaker 2>my favorite match of all, time which is the first <v Speaker 2>Ever halloween customs are legal. Match that Is Rye back <v Speaker 2>as a cow. <v Speaker 4>MAN i don't know what was? <v Speaker 5>That what do you want to? <v Speaker 4>Say there was a brainchild of us and like The <v Speaker 4>rotundo's bow And Bray. <v Speaker 2>Wyatt, okay so what is the? <v Speaker 4>Match it's just. This i'll never forget the setup of. <v Speaker 6>It we were feeding and the dude busters were feeding <v Speaker 6>with The rotundo's bow And bray yep and frigging. <v Speaker 4>SOMETHING i can't tell you what we, did something happened. <v Speaker 6>Whatever and Then bray gets on the mic and he's next, <v Speaker 6>week we're going to settle this in a, match and he's, <v Speaker 6>like and guess WHAT i just talked To commissioner Dust roads. <v Speaker 4>Whatever he's, Like halloween costumes. Legal and the place goes <v Speaker 4>crazy and we got, no there makes no. Sense it <v Speaker 4>makes no, sense you. Know And i'm like of going <v Speaker 4>in the, match like they're all proud to be in <v Speaker 4>their costumes and we're all like, pissed And i'm dressed <v Speaker 4>up like A gecko or. <v Speaker 2>Whatever, yeah oh my, god if you guys can find this, <v Speaker 2>match find. <v Speaker 4>IT i don't think it. EXISTS i have THE. <v Speaker 2>Dvd oh so, yeah because you showed it to. <v Speaker 4>Us so dude that worked in the office will kind <v Speaker 4>of hooked me up and give me some stuff from <v Speaker 4>time to. <v Speaker 2>Time but, Yeah brian has made this a. TRADITION i <v Speaker 2>mean last, year sadly it was the first year that <v Speaker 2>we lost it because we didn't have A halloween. Show <v Speaker 2>but every year since twenty fifteen we've had A Halloween <v Speaker 2>costumes are legal. Match it's actually. Morphed from the first <v Speaker 2>couple of years it was a three way and then <v Speaker 2>it could be anything, really but now it's a freaking <v Speaker 2>royal rumble of. <v Speaker 4>Costumes it's a gomlet. Match it's so. <v Speaker 2>Good, okay so he SAYS. Scdw for questions For, brian <v Speaker 2>how did Becoming Dude buster number three come? About and <v Speaker 2>was there ever a plan for the true to be <v Speaker 2>called up? Together, also did he have any input on <v Speaker 2>his outcome theme? Song still have it on my cardio? <v Speaker 2>Playlist great? <v Speaker 6>Question so that is actually The Deep south theme song <v Speaker 6>AND i, did but it's not our, song, No but <v Speaker 6>that's WHAT i used IN fcw, right but that's that's <v Speaker 6>Uh Team elite's. Music, okay but it's in That Deep south. <v Speaker 6>COMMERCIAL i don't know if you ever noticed that that <v Speaker 6>would air In Deep South. <v Speaker 4>Wrestling, thought, okay that's HOW i would hear more like <v Speaker 4>that's WHAT i always. THINK i know what you're talking. <v Speaker 4>About it. Is it Was Mike knox Into eric Ni <v Speaker 4>kerks music And Deep. SOUTH i always liked. <v Speaker 6>IT i feel like we stole THE cd AND i <v Speaker 6>had it like on the gym, playlist and then WHEN <v Speaker 6>i got there there was, like, oh there's all these generic. <v Speaker 4>Songs i'm, like, hey how about. THIS i know you <v Speaker 4>guys on the right. Store CAN i just use? It <v Speaker 4>AND i Think kenobia was like, yeah, sure that's no. <v Speaker 6>Problem so that's HOW i used, that just BECAUSE i <v Speaker 6>knew it was a cool song and nobody else, right you, <v Speaker 6>know it stands out when everyone's going out to themes <v Speaker 6>and it had my song and those lyrics and like completely. <v Speaker 6>Different there was NEVER i, think really what happens At <v Speaker 6>dusty And Doctor thomas really liked. <v Speaker 4>It was like the natural. Friendship we were all buddies <v Speaker 4>of the. <v Speaker 6>Dude blusters AND i and then like we put us <v Speaker 6>together in Six man's ON, tv and it just kind <v Speaker 6>of morphed into something just and even like cus the <v Speaker 6>way we would do practice and practice matches and, stuff <v Speaker 6>AND i think he just found it. Entertaining BUT i <v Speaker 6>don't think it ever crossed like THE Ww creative's desk <v Speaker 6>at any point got. <v Speaker 2>It how did you And dusty become a? <v Speaker 4>Relationship how did you guys form? <v Speaker 6>Them dusty actually like The Major, Brothers he's the reason <v Speaker 6>we got called up in the first. Place We he <v Speaker 6>hand picked us at deep out because he thought that <v Speaker 6>we reminded him of The. Malkies is what The Welki <v Speaker 6>brothers is what we got years. Later and we were <v Speaker 6>really supposed TO ecw was supposed. <v Speaker 4>To, have like a tag division was be us and <v Speaker 4>then start to feel With Mike knox And Derek nykirk <v Speaker 4>and to whatever need just never, happened and we got <v Speaker 4>called up with literally nothing to. <v Speaker 2>DO i Remember i've said this on many. PODCASTS i <v Speaker 2>remember talking like would lead To steve neck run about <v Speaker 2>how they just called this tag team, up but there's <v Speaker 2>no tag team, division. <v Speaker 6>Didn't make any, sense, Nothing and THEN i don't, Know, <v Speaker 6>rosky do you remember This i've been thinking about this <v Speaker 6>a couple of times, Lately LIKE i don't know if <v Speaker 6>it's before we actually, debut or like right After dusty <v Speaker 6>pulled us in like the promo room With. Brawler then <v Speaker 6>he's like he's like making us cut promos and he's, <v Speaker 6>like do this next one As heels and then like <v Speaker 6>we finished and it's. <v Speaker 4>Silent he's, like, damn somebody's got their head all fucked. <v Speaker 4>Up because y'all. <v Speaker 5>HEALED i remember. <v Speaker 4>That it was like very. Complimentary oh, shit you, know because. <v Speaker 5>We did a couple live. Events so while we're In Deep, <v Speaker 5>south you, know we have like an inklink that we <v Speaker 5>are gonna get called up because we would go on <v Speaker 5>THE ww like house show, loops. <v Speaker 4>Like two loops or. <v Speaker 5>WHATEVER i want to say more than maybe like AND <v Speaker 5>i want to say at least, three because one loop <v Speaker 5>we work As heels against The highlanders or is that <v Speaker 5>just one? <v Speaker 6>SHOW i know you might be, right, yeah BECAUSE i <v Speaker 6>know we have a dark Against Cayden. MURDOCH i believe <v Speaker 6>it dark Against Dukesh. <v Speaker 5>Domena well there's the loop that we're not supposed to <v Speaker 5>be on and we're booked by accident and we ended <v Speaker 5>up working Just Uh, Sunny siaki And perez and there's <v Speaker 5>a loop against The World's greatest tag, team our first ever. <v Speaker 6>Loop we land AND i want to say it's something <v Speaker 6>like pretty far like iris oone or Something New mexico or, <v Speaker 6>something and we're subway, subway like literally shaking eating like, <v Speaker 6>subs like we're going into Ww live event to. <v Speaker 4>Perform my phone rings Is Howard. Finkel i'm like, what, oh, <v Speaker 4>like what's, up Fak and he's, like you know what <v Speaker 4>happened to be In New? <v Speaker 5>Mexico you. <v Speaker 4>Know we're like, Yeah he's, like oh, boy and like. <v Speaker 6>They're suposed to cancel our tickets or, something and nobody <v Speaker 6>told there's a big. Miscommunication so we're, like, wow this <v Speaker 6>guy started off on a awesome foot and then like <v Speaker 6>went to the building and THEN i think they made <v Speaker 6>someone have a three way and we had this like <v Speaker 6>whack tag With Uh, Sunny saki And Air. <v Speaker 5>Perez, yeah because our planing In Deep, south you, know in, Macdonnaugh, <v Speaker 5>georgia the white meat blonde babyface twin brother tag team thing, <v Speaker 5>worked but we knew it wouldn't work UNLIKE, Wwtv so <v Speaker 5>our plan during these like promo days or that we <v Speaker 5>were The saviors Oft Tag Team wrestling were, heels but <v Speaker 5>almost like so Like babyface that it was. Obnoxious oh, <v Speaker 5>yeah of Course Rujo brothers. Yep but then when we <v Speaker 5>got called UP, dcw we were just baa faces that it. Sucked, <v Speaker 5>yeah there's nothing. <v Speaker 2>There David. WEST a lot of people seem to have <v Speaker 2>trouble adapting to the so CALLED ww, style or at <v Speaker 2>least go through a period of struggling to adjust when <v Speaker 2>joining the. Company what to, you guys is THE ww? <v Speaker 2>Style what does that? <v Speaker 6>MEAN i, LIKE i have a lot of theories and <v Speaker 6>obedience on, Us like that's to me the money making, style, <v Speaker 6>Right AND i think that's like what you see some <v Speaker 6>people maybe like ON aw there's a disconnect because there's <v Speaker 6>just a certain there's a difference in working. Television you <v Speaker 6>have there's certain tools that you have to have in <v Speaker 6>your tool bell and understandings that's gonna make you a better, <v Speaker 6>performer you, know make you come through that screen kind of, <v Speaker 6>thing you, know finding the, cameras getting the you, know <v Speaker 6>working towards them and stuff. Like it is an art <v Speaker 6>and it's a way you, know slowing, down you, know <v Speaker 6>as crazy as that sounds to, people like just so <v Speaker 6>you can digest what you're. <v Speaker 4>Seeing and that to, me like whenever when someone says. <v Speaker 6>That W w, Style i'm to, Me i'm like, thinking, <v Speaker 6>yeah that's the right, Style like that's not like that's <v Speaker 6>the one that's. <v Speaker 4>Working yeah. <v Speaker 6>EXACTLY i think you're foolish to think that there's something <v Speaker 6>wrong with, That like that's the money making pro wrestling. <v Speaker 7>STYLE i hate the, uh the term of you, know <v Speaker 7>when the when fans, Say i'm, like they're they're bringing <v Speaker 7>that guy, down they're not using him to his potential <v Speaker 7>or you know the work rate. <v Speaker 2>Thing, well, no this is what W w knows, works <v Speaker 2>and so. <v Speaker 7>They're gonna they're not gonna they're not gonna go away <v Speaker 7>from that if they know it. <v Speaker 5>Works you listen to the business, business. <v Speaker 4>But thats more of like booking to that's different than <v Speaker 4>like the way you. <v Speaker 5>Work even like the wrestling. Style it has, evolved you <v Speaker 5>know from when we first at until, now and it's <v Speaker 5>just like the business, evolves you, know but there's certain <v Speaker 5>things that shouldn't, change like selling you, know it's like <v Speaker 5>storytelling that like you, know getting shots of like when <v Speaker 5>you're in an independent, match you, know after like a false, <v Speaker 5>finish you, know to just lay there might be, Weird <v Speaker 5>but if it's on, television the commentators are telling the <v Speaker 5>story and the cameras a getting your different, facials you <v Speaker 5>know That if that makes any, sense there's so much <v Speaker 5>more going on than just your, match. <v Speaker 2>Right, yeah, yeah you're very. Right, yeah for. Sure that <v Speaker 2>commentary thing is something That i've figured out very, recently <v Speaker 2>and ACTUALLY i had to be a commentator to realize. <v Speaker 6>That right When i'm commentating my main THINGS i tell <v Speaker 6>students all the, TIME i despise And i've said this <v Speaker 6>some maytimes to my, guys do not go out and <v Speaker 6>wrestle like every person's building a senior YouTube video that <v Speaker 6>did about this. <v Speaker 4>Match that's very. <v Speaker 2>Foolish oh, yeah. <v Speaker 5>It's almost like you have to wrestle like they've never <v Speaker 5>heard of you were seeing you? <v Speaker 4>Before, literally, right tell that story because then you're appealing <v Speaker 4>to the. Masses THAT'S ww style whatever you, know. <v Speaker 2>You Ring, Mulligan was there anybody with you in developmental <v Speaker 2>who you thought was going to be a huge? <v Speaker 5>Star but are you like appropriating these? Questions what's going? <v Speaker 2>ON i just read it because it's funny that people <v Speaker 2>have asked that. <v Speaker 6>QUESTION i, Mean I'M i remember Meeting Tyler rex AND <v Speaker 6>fw anything like this guy's going to take see a <v Speaker 6>spot that that's like the like the look he had <v Speaker 6>at that, time like just oh yeah. <v Speaker 4>Yeah dreadlocks LIKE i was. <v Speaker 5>Tall it was like holy, yeah like this guy let <v Speaker 5>Me you, KNOW i Thought Dan roodeimer was going to <v Speaker 5>be a huge. <v Speaker 7>Star, yeah that's one of those that's like forgotten. <v Speaker 4>About, YEAH. <v Speaker 2>I should you? Not Jeremy, ivans which wrestler during your time? <v Speaker 2>Developmental did you think was going to be a mega? <v Speaker 4>Star different? One? <v Speaker 2>Uh Jacob duncan Impossible WrestleMania. Ement, okay you See ricky. <v Speaker 6>We were Told Bruce richard came down Saw Ricky ortiz <v Speaker 6>AND ovw and said to the whole group that he <v Speaker 6>was A WrestleMania moment waiting to. <v Speaker 4>Happen What, Yeah i'll never forget. That we're talking Like Afro, <v Speaker 4>atlas The ricky or. <v Speaker 2>Swag, crap but people in the. Spot Brian, cope did <v Speaker 2>you ever have to learn to? Blade if, so who taught? <v Speaker 2>You were you? Scared? Excited how did it? <v Speaker 6>Feel Mike wreck taught us that before we even got, <v Speaker 6>signed AND i never to this DAY i have had <v Speaker 6>to do. <v Speaker 4>IT i never had to put in. HEARTBEAT i just <v Speaker 4>think it's gotta be the right, place right. Time. <v Speaker 6>YEAH i had that barber match With Kevin matthews and <v Speaker 6>we both, decided, like you, know one of us could do, <v Speaker 6>it but not both because that's just like in bad <v Speaker 6>TASTE i think. <v Speaker 4>Nowadays and he was, Like i'll do. It you, Know <v Speaker 4>i'm already gonna shoot bleed from the. <v Speaker 5>Barbarer, anyways In Deep South, ones there's two blood incidents <v Speaker 5>THAT i can. Recall. ONE i don't know If i'm Working. <v Speaker 5>Brian i'm working somebody in like a practice, match AND <v Speaker 5>i go to do like the big Like billy guns stinger. <v Speaker 5>Splash not me BECAUSE i remember watching it and being like, <v Speaker 5>whoa AND i like hit the pole legit and fall <v Speaker 5>out of the. <v Speaker 4>Ring does the stinger? Splash hits his forehead on the, <v Speaker 4>pole sticking Up kristen's first practice, shoot flips out of <v Speaker 4>the ring and we're all on this, like, uh bleacher <v Speaker 4>sore where the like hardcam side or, whatever and he <v Speaker 4>goes backsides and now you can't see him. Completely i'm not. <v Speaker 4>Kidding he comes Up Vince WrestleMania, style. <v Speaker 5>Like that's SOMETHING i wish was on. Television was in <v Speaker 5>practice another blood. Story this is like when like this <v Speaker 5>is not The bill, era this Is Doctor tom fun. <v Speaker 5>Era for some, REASON i feel like Dar tom's not <v Speaker 5>there and like we're running our own, practice if that makes. <v Speaker 4>Sense and it's this giant Like survivor And i'll protect <v Speaker 4>the innocent. <v Speaker 5>Or it's like this Giant survivor series style like elimination, <v Speaker 5>match and LIKE i get, eliminated and THEN i want <v Speaker 5>to come in and Hit brian with a. Chair SO <v Speaker 5>i grab one of those like pay per view chairs <v Speaker 5>and had like a little bit of the, padding but <v Speaker 5>it's not quite, padded you know What i'm, saying, yep, <v Speaker 5>Right AND i go to swinging At, brian and the <v Speaker 5>last second he like Pulls Melissa coats in, front AND <v Speaker 5>i try to pull the chair But i'm like mid <v Speaker 5>swing BUT i can't quite pull it, enough AND i nail. <v Speaker 4>Her in the head and it's still legend. <v Speaker 5>Still like the petted, side but then like she had <v Speaker 5>these like corn rows or, dreadlocks and then like it <v Speaker 5>just knocked in the spot. Hair she's covered in, blood <v Speaker 5>covered in, blood bleached blonde hair. <v Speaker 6>Looked like are you fucking getting may are you fucking <v Speaker 6>getting may like screaming at. <v Speaker 5>THAT i thought LIKE i was getting it five for <v Speaker 5>hitting a. Woman and then she's not. <v Speaker 4>Signed. Uh she went to the. <v Speaker 6>Er, YEAH i guess it costs five hundred bucks or, <v Speaker 6>whatever and she got like super glued or whatever they, <v Speaker 6>did medical, glue and then she would learn to be <v Speaker 6>Like Brett. <v Speaker 4>Major only five hundred Dollars brett every. <v Speaker 5>Day AND i SAID i would give it to, her <v Speaker 5>and then she came to my house to collect. It <v Speaker 5>but she brought she brought her. Insurance she brought her insurance, <v Speaker 5>policy her muscle in the form of former W cw Star. <v Speaker 4>Kweewee to this, day we've never. <v Speaker 6>Met we just saw from a distance he was leaning <v Speaker 6>on the car and she got out of the car <v Speaker 6>and he just handed her over to. <v Speaker 4>The five hundred bucks to stop asking About. <v Speaker 2>Oh my, YEAH i don't know if you can get anywhere. <v Speaker 4>That it's a wild. <v Speaker 2>Story let's rapid fire. Here did you ever work With Jim? <v Speaker 2>Cornett if, so what was he? <v Speaker 1>Like? <v Speaker 6>No, NO i Met Jim cornett wrestling In atlanta AND <v Speaker 6>i Dropped cabano off at R h AND i was <v Speaker 6>like just partying mc gallows basically BECAUSE i had like <v Speaker 6>no responsibilities AND i met him briefly, there shook his <v Speaker 6>hands at a low and that was. <v Speaker 2>It Brian, LYONS i know we hear the names you <v Speaker 2>spread through a lot of, stories but can you list <v Speaker 2>some of the people in developmental uh with you if <v Speaker 2>we might know them by a different? Gimmick? <v Speaker 4>Now not? <v Speaker 2>Really, YEAH i mean you kind of you kind of mentioned. <v Speaker 2>Everybody Jeremy, conrad what was your first big figure purchase <v Speaker 2>when you hit Developmental. <v Speaker 4>Less is the legendary one or did you grab something <v Speaker 4>to sound jealous at the time of this and as <v Speaker 4>it goes, on that. <v Speaker 5>Wasn't when we firstly developmental that's like a year in <v Speaker 5>it's like we finally get like me roster money AND <v Speaker 5>i want to buy This El jaane. Collection, YEAH i <v Speaker 5>want to feel LIKE i want. <v Speaker 4>To, say because we're just slowly getting stuff as We're. <v Speaker 5>The biggest thing was like when we found that elimination, <v Speaker 5>CHAMBER i feel like held the. <v Speaker 6>CELL i mean like we were just LIKE i think <v Speaker 6>we've said this, before but, Whatever like on days, off <v Speaker 6>we would map quest directions from like one toys rest <v Speaker 6>of the other and spend like four or five hours <v Speaker 6>like just all, afternoon like HOPPINGTO, kbs into In walmarts <v Speaker 6>and whatever we could find like in the area because <v Speaker 6>we didn't know the. Area you, Know we're just googling <v Speaker 6>and trying to figure it, out and we would set <v Speaker 6>up like an entire like. Day it just quests, basically <v Speaker 6>you know, what. <v Speaker 2>Would you guys hide your figure stuff from the. <v Speaker 6>DUDE i have a vivid memory of this one of <v Speaker 6>our first like months, There we're At walmart like late at, <v Speaker 6>night like, midnight like we say we used to do <v Speaker 6>because we loved it because it would reopen that late <v Speaker 6>and we weren't used to. That In series, Two Deluxe <v Speaker 6>aggression had just dropped and we were like scooping through <v Speaker 6>them AND i Had cane like the bald came And i'm, <v Speaker 6>like we're shopping in The walmart AND i hear a voice, <v Speaker 6>like hey, guys it Was Mike, knox AND i throw <v Speaker 6>it like a frisbee and spin around like so like <v Speaker 6>it was nowhere near, me LIKE i was holding his <v Speaker 6>cane figure AND i didn't want to. <v Speaker 4>KNOW i was, like oh my, god, yeah like just <v Speaker 4>chuck it up my color like like he didn't like <v Speaker 4>see that's WHAT i was. DOING i was buying a. <v Speaker 4>Figure oh my. <v Speaker 6>GOD i think that's one of THE i could be <v Speaker 6>wrong about this and rosting me and rosting my back me. <v Speaker 6>UP i think that's one of our icebreakers With cone <v Speaker 6>because we caught him buying A Harley Race classic and <v Speaker 6>that's who Like cone like came up with and he <v Speaker 6>like kind of explained. That, YEAH i want to, say <v Speaker 6>we caught him like A walmart buying. That now it's <v Speaker 6>like like something that like broke the ice with. <v Speaker 5>Us and oh, yeah we definitely weren't hiding it because <v Speaker 5>we were, very very social with the majority of the people. <v Speaker 4>And this was like EARLY i want the toughest. <v Speaker 5>Guy oh, yeah but like at one, POINT i have <v Speaker 5>all The Jack's rockies like hanging up on my, wall <v Speaker 5>so like it couldn't have been that. <v Speaker 4>Hidden, Yeah but we had another thing we did THAT <v Speaker 4>i always pride myself. <v Speaker 6>On we would order EVERY tna pay per view and <v Speaker 6>have everyone over for it because it was just like <v Speaker 6>a fun like camaraderie thing to. Do, yeah, Yeah, Wednesdays, No, <v Speaker 6>no the real like The, Bangers LIKE i remember we <v Speaker 6>watched what is that? One we're Staying, finally as the <v Speaker 6>singles Of jarret and he's got no top and he <v Speaker 6>fires up AND i remember just watching. <v Speaker 4>That like drunk and everyone was like having the best. <v Speaker 4>Time it's like it's Like lado six maybe like go <v Speaker 4>Six bound For glory or something that's. <v Speaker 2>Cool this is a cool wrestling One Challenge. Mania are <v Speaker 2>there practices and training tropes that you guys dealt with <v Speaker 2>back then that have since gone by out of style or? <v Speaker 2>Whatever any training taxic tactics like do, this don't do. <v Speaker 4>THAT i. <v Speaker 5>DON'T i don't think anyone is criss crossing while people <v Speaker 5>are standing and doing squats. <v Speaker 4>In The MICHAEL a lot of The south. STUFF i <v Speaker 4>look back and like it. <v Speaker 5>Just was imagine like doing squats in the top. <v Speaker 2>ROPE i KNOW czw Doesn't someone's hitting AND i and some. <v Speaker 4>Of IT i kind of understand as a. <v Speaker 6>Coach sometimes like all you can show up the cap <v Speaker 6>AND i can honestly admit Like i'm, fried Like i'm <v Speaker 6>LIKE i. <v Speaker 4>Don't know what to. <v Speaker 6>Do but other Times i'm very, motivated LIKE i have <v Speaker 6>this most of the, TIME i should Say i'm, Like, <v Speaker 6>okay this is my game, plan is WHAT i want <v Speaker 6>to do. <v Speaker 4>Today but if you had to do that five days <v Speaker 4>a week or. Whatever, OH i know that real. <v Speaker 6>Quick so a lot of the, stuff looking back on <v Speaker 6>it Deep, south there's literally just stuff to make the <v Speaker 6>fucking clock, tick like make the day. <v Speaker 4>Go, by, right. <v Speaker 2>What about Like, brian you've talked about this a, lot <v Speaker 2>like kind of like the stuff that you were you <v Speaker 2>were trained to Like borski's talking, about like this style <v Speaker 2>doesn't work, Here you've got to watch out for the <v Speaker 2>five count et. Cetera but like something you told, US <v Speaker 2>i remember specifically learning for like how to do a <v Speaker 2>great blind tag where the ref doesn't, see and then <v Speaker 2>one day you were just, like, no that does not <v Speaker 2>a thing. Anymore you cannot do a blind tag in a. <v Speaker 4>Mag it's just got to be like perfect where like <v Speaker 4>the ref doesn't look like a dumb. <v Speaker 2>Ass, yeah But i'm, saying do you, remember like, LORDAL i. <v Speaker 4>Hate when the hells go oh, wait like, wait so <v Speaker 4>he has. <v Speaker 6>Us all these other things are, cheating but that one <v Speaker 6>spot the ref Goes, Okay i'll take your word. <v Speaker 4>For, it bad, guy that's, Fine like that doesn't make, <v Speaker 4>Sense like sometimes like things that a. <v Speaker 5>Right SOMETHING i will, say AND i, admit what's old is, <v Speaker 5>New but sometimes what's old is, old and there's a <v Speaker 5>reason why it's. Old BUT i will Say Jody, hamilton <v Speaker 5>he taught. ME i would say EVERYTHING i knew about <v Speaker 5>tag team, wrestling WHICH i still don't think is applied, <v Speaker 5>Today like the concept of a tag team match that <v Speaker 5>two guys should should take the other ponent and keep <v Speaker 5>them in their, corner away from their, partner and it <v Speaker 5>should be the story of the. Match he's gotta, Closer <v Speaker 5>he's getting, closer he's any, closer not just like shooting <v Speaker 5>them off to like your your partner saw you know <v Speaker 5>What i'm. Saying it's like THERE'S i don't. <v Speaker 4>Know it's like little shitty disconnect things like. <v Speaker 5>That, Like BUT i also think that, yes that there <v Speaker 5>has To it's it's twenty twenty. One there has to <v Speaker 5>be more exciting. Stuff there has to be faster. Action <v Speaker 5>there has to be like bigger. Moves BUT i still <v Speaker 5>think that the storytelling and the psychology can be there <v Speaker 5>with those cool. <v Speaker 2>Moves mm. <v Speaker 5>Hmm if that makes, sense why can't it be both? <v Speaker 2>Who all, right let's finish this. Up we're almost home. <v Speaker 2>Here we got a lot of questions, still this has <v Speaker 2>been a great. PODCAST i really enjoy hearing. Here guys'. <v Speaker 2>Story by the, way next month we will move. Forward <v Speaker 2>we'll talk about the early days on the, Roster we'll <v Speaker 2>talk ABOUT ecw and then going into the. Edgeheads we've <v Speaker 2>talked about that a, lot but you, know ask your specific. <v Speaker 2>Questions also we can do a little bit follow up <v Speaker 2>to maybe because THERE'S i have questions in my head <v Speaker 2>more about your time. There so, Anyways Jack, hodson let's <v Speaker 2>finish up. Here who in developmental that you worked with <v Speaker 2>ended up getting their own. Figures let's talk about. <v Speaker 3>Like great figures FOR i think the First striker is <v Speaker 3>the first because while we're, THERE i got well he <v Speaker 3>Was stiger was like my favorite indie wrestler BECAUSE i <v Speaker 3>would see him as a kid on indie shows AND <v Speaker 3>i watched him get signed like it felt LIKE i was. <v Speaker 5>A part of, that you, know not THAT i did <v Speaker 5>a college project on that strike his whole scandal about how. <v Speaker 4>How he screwed The New york and he was always <v Speaker 4>he would always like time to like whether it was <v Speaker 4>ball busting or what he would like talk to, me <v Speaker 4>and he KNEW i wanted to be a wrestler and <v Speaker 4>Stuff shreker. <v Speaker 6>Gave me and my high school girlfriend in front of. <v Speaker 6>Me he still talks about this DAY i got an indie. <v Speaker 6>Show BUT i remember getting that figure and having him <v Speaker 6>sign up for me AND i still have. <v Speaker 4>It In Deep, SOUTH. <v Speaker 5>I, mean so many people got, FIGURES. <v Speaker 2>I mean just just getting you, know who doesn't have <v Speaker 2>a figure or. <v Speaker 6>Not bill heard me like figures and we just started <v Speaker 6>talking to. Him he's, LIKE i got that W w <v Speaker 6>one and we're, like he's like one where like you. <v Speaker 6>DON'T i don't, Know LIKE i think he just thought <v Speaker 6>we were casual guys who pulling past, us and we're, <v Speaker 6>like he don't have. <v Speaker 2>One BUT i can't believe he doesn't have a. <v Speaker 5>Classic But i'm surprised he didn't get. <v Speaker 2>One huh. Uh, yeah what about? Incarnation your favorite figure <v Speaker 2>from your from Developmental? Friends maybe That Rematia Kofee. Fastus, <v Speaker 2>yeah that's. <v Speaker 6>TRUE i actually think The Ray gordy who Was jesse <v Speaker 6>is like an incredible likeness on that. <v Speaker 2>FIGURE i agree that head skin. Smile did he get <v Speaker 2>a red end of? <v Speaker 6>Yellow? <v Speaker 4>Yeah, Yeah Ray, gordy we haven't really talked about. Much <v Speaker 4>he was a great. Dude he invited us to his <v Speaker 4>wedding after knowing its for like three. Weeks we've got <v Speaker 4>to Mention. <v Speaker 2>Heath we meet in uh, oh all, right let's finish <v Speaker 2>it up with the heat with a little bit Of heath. <v Speaker 5>Talk he's Someone i'll say. This i'll Say heath to <v Speaker 5>someone WHO i didn't think was gonna make it and <v Speaker 5>did really because when he, came he was, unsigned. <v Speaker 4>Unsigned he would come new jobs and and and like you're, like, <v Speaker 4>hell low out. Better he that looked like because mom made, it. <v Speaker 5>It's merita that it's a maritime AND i bet. <v Speaker 6>If he was, here he'd say it Was dusty AND <v Speaker 6>fcw and he which is crazy because he so cares <v Speaker 6>my literally could not cut a promo to save his. <v Speaker 6>LIFE i mean like, nothing, really he literally devised this one, <v Speaker 6>Day like you REMEMBER i said that sixty seconds. Hard <v Speaker 6>he went in there and he was like he did <v Speaker 6>a prom where he was like pondering for fifty five, <v Speaker 6>seconds like going through different like hands on, hips like <v Speaker 6>where he's thinking. <v Speaker 4>Yeah and he goes It's Miller Tom bibry and then <v Speaker 4>walked out like just because he couldn't do, It like <v Speaker 4>that's like his way of getting out of. <v Speaker 5>It. Yeah but But heath was one of those Guys <v Speaker 5>i'm trying to think. Like, also Like fandango was someone <v Speaker 5>who came unsigned because when, no yeah. <v Speaker 4>He, came he would come and do jobs and some <v Speaker 4>we befriended him. <v Speaker 5>And then got signed To dango got. Signed heath got, <v Speaker 5>Signed Robert anthony was. There there's a lot of. Guys you, <v Speaker 5>know he's someone WHO i thought would have like really <v Speaker 5>he just got LIKE i thought him And fandaga were <v Speaker 5>gonna make as a. TEAM i didn't. <v Speaker 6>Sure those are two guys that really are like from initially, <v Speaker 6>me then they became like, big big stars compared to. <v Speaker 4>WHAT i ever. <v Speaker 5>Thought, Yeah fangle and he not THAT i, MEAN i love. <v Speaker 4>Them as dudes and, stuff BUT i have this. <v Speaker 2>Memory it's hard that star. <v Speaker 4>Quality where you're there doing a two minute jobs of <v Speaker 4>a freaking. Deacon that's What i'm. <v Speaker 5>Saying so they came. Unsigned they were not put in <v Speaker 5>the position to be. <v Speaker 2>Showcased, yes, yeah especially he's with Bad year And pale and, yeah. <v Speaker 5>Oh here's Someone, okay here's SOMEONE i thought was going <v Speaker 5>to be a star and. Wasn't Crew jones. <v Speaker 4>WHERE i Think broski stole a lot of stuff from this. <v Speaker 5>Guy but He Crew jones was jacked tan and he <v Speaker 5>hit the one legged, tights AND i will admit that's <v Speaker 5>WHERE i stole the one legged. Tights, Wow and he <v Speaker 5>would go, Yeah. <v Speaker 4>AND i think kind OF. <v Speaker 5>I would love if he, could if maybe he was <v Speaker 5>the live get it back in one lego tights was <v Speaker 5>one leg of. <v Speaker 4>Tights i'm Sure alice could track him down In georgia. <v Speaker 4>Somewhere he was just. JACKED i remember that was like <v Speaker 4>he was someone that we'd be around And i'd be, like, <v Speaker 4>well you're just. Children this is a. Man he was so. <v Speaker 2>Jacked speaking of blood, there do you think with f <v Speaker 2>W F live coming? Up think with maybe that street, <v Speaker 2>fight there'll be some, blood maybe some blood in that main. <v Speaker 5>Event it's very. Possible i'm not gigging if that's what you. <v Speaker 5>Mean no you're, not no hard way then oh hell. <v Speaker 5>NO i think this needs a part. <v Speaker 4>Tour, yeah we feel like we Didn't we didn't feel <v Speaker 4>like we didn't even scratch they. <v Speaker 2>HAVE i have more questions. <v Speaker 5>Myself, yeah let's do a part two on developmental for next. <v Speaker 2>Month all, right And I'm i'm And i'm leading the <v Speaker 2>first thirty minutes BECAUSE i have way more. <v Speaker 5>Questions we didn't even talk about how LIKE i was <v Speaker 5>losing so much weight from doing these hard work as <v Speaker 5>that build them out would force me to eat cupcakes and. <v Speaker 5>McDonalds you didn't even. <v Speaker 4>Get into you as much ice cream as good before, <v Speaker 4>bed like the opposite of what you. <v Speaker 2>Do all, right let's put a pause on. That, yeah thanks. Guys, <v Speaker 2>well we love You.
