We were all littttt for the long holiday weekend and can't wait to tell you about it. JK, we're washed and did nothing, but we're going to tell you about it anyway. Rory was forced to socialize with people at a birthday party and in the steam room (09:38) so, if course, he was in hell. We get into a conversation about stealing and Mal shares a story with us about the first time he was involved in fraud (14:02). Demaris was outside for the 4th and is having trouble finding the straight men... she asks the boys for help and of course they laugh at her, but not more than they laugh at Julian's (failed) content creator bag at the Pangea party (21:28). Michael Rubin had his annual all-white party over the weekend (26:09) while the rest of us watched the 'Not Like Us' video (don't worry, Mal isn't going off on us today... he took an edible) (37:39). The only question he has as this all comes to an end is - why would Kendrick give Future and Metro that verse/moment? Why not do it solo? We attempt to answer this for him (51:17), and then Rory reaffirms his album of the year (1:02:55). Childish Gambino had a show over the weekend and we discuss predictions for his upcoming album (1:06:38). We have voicemails! Today our first listener wants our opinion on the recent uptick in the use of the word 'insecurity' when in reference to men in relationships (1:13:15). Our second listener needs help planning a first date, and of course we give him no advice he could actually use (1:28:23).

But then that blanket, you know, overnight, like your body like heats up you under a blanket. By the time I wake up. And I'm talking about the sheets are soaked. 00:02:14 Speaker 1: You don't know. It's a crazy comforter ac balance. You gotta like just leave one leg out. I do some of that, bring it back under the comforter. That's that's my move. 00:02:23 Speaker 2: I do all of that. But I almost walked out with like a wet rag today, like just to keep on my foot. Like I know. That's how much have been sweating lately. Yeah, yeah, I don't. Is it an age thing. It's been extra human getting more. 00:03:44 Speaker 9: I've swept more now that I'm older. 00:03:46 Speaker 8: I would look into getting that what do they call that botox ship where clog is their pores. 00:03:50 Speaker 1: Claws feel like it's not healthy, but it's like it's it's like a thing they do that in the steamer room. 00:03:56 Speaker 6: H No, they like the botox shot that you can get underneath your under arms to stop your sweat lands from producing it. 00:04:02 Speaker 3: I don't think you should ever stop your sweat. 00:04:04 Speaker 1: It's a hyper very important part of your life. 00:04:07 Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just. 00:04:08 Speaker 8: Like a localized shot. I wouldn't do it anywhere else, but it's it's pretty common. 00:04:14 Speaker 2: You wouldn't get botox in your face. Hell no, no, I. 00:04:16 Speaker 6: Can't wait wait for what one more like frustrated age limit? Like I mean, like I'm going to start, I'm not aging gracefully. I'm getting botox in the forehead. I'm getting the facelift pulled tightly, like really, yeah. 00:04:30 Speaker 1: You want to look like people want to really want to look like. 00:04:32 Speaker 3: You're so young to be talking like that, Like. 00:04:34 Speaker 7: I know. 00:04:35 Speaker 6: That's why I said I can't wait when I get older, I'm. 00:04:37 Speaker 2: Going to get your face pulled. 00:04:39 Speaker 6: Back because I started, I started noticing like crow scalping. 00:04:47 Speaker 2: I've never heard somebody say I can't wait to get No, I can't wait to get chemo. What are you talking about? Completely, I can't wait. 00:04:55 Speaker 9: To get the body will always be natural, but the face. 00:04:58 Speaker 7: But now the thing. 00:04:59 Speaker 2: You'll never get no work on your body. 00:05:01 Speaker 9: After I popped my kids out, I'm gonna get my boobs done. But that's it. 00:05:05 Speaker 3: That don't really count. 00:05:06 Speaker 1: What's that a mommy tuck? 00:05:07 Speaker 9: What do they call that mommy makeover? 00:05:09 Speaker 6: Is the tummy tuck with the with the light bo three sixty light bow. 00:05:13 Speaker 8: You know, the husband's stitch that they do after women give vaginal birth what is that. It's called the husband's stitch, where they like stitched up a little more so it's tight again out of vagina. 00:05:24 Speaker 1: You just slapped some vinegar on. 00:05:25 Speaker 6: That, damn you old old the tightest vagina I've ever first made for that woman who had a big head baby. 00:05:33 Speaker 2: Think that women know better than to just slap. Put some of the little cat full in the bathtub. They foaking that little me. 00:05:41 Speaker 1: Tighten it right up. 00:05:42 Speaker 6: Yeah, please don't put in the please Jesus, just. 00:05:50 Speaker 1: Put a little something. It looked up, just hurt, that's all. Snap snapped that pussy back the husband. 00:05:57 Speaker 8: The husband's stitch, the husband's it's it's apparently it's not. It's a harmful thing because obviously you're pretty much reshaping very painful the vagina. 00:06:07 Speaker 6: When women give birth, sometimes they rip and when they're stitching them, stitching the peritoneum back up, they'll put an extra stitch in perium. 00:06:16 Speaker 8: Got you, Isn't that crazy? Imagine that? Imagine if we had to get our dicks like sewed up or something. 00:06:22 Speaker 3: It was just like, I've never imagined that. 00:06:24 Speaker 1: You it's never really crossed my mind. Well, technically we have. 00:06:27 Speaker 7: If you if you snipped. We've had that's yeah down there. 00:06:31 Speaker 3: I was like, I had no sake. 00:06:32 Speaker 7: They gave it a shape up. 00:06:34 Speaker 1: They think about that. 00:06:35 Speaker 3: They violated me, and I have no say. 00:06:37 Speaker 1: I don't remember any of it, but I feel like it was a traumatic experience. 00:06:41 Speaker 6: You're going to circumcise your son. 00:06:42 Speaker 9: I thought about not doing it. 00:06:43 Speaker 6: I've considered not doing it. Well, I don't know, because I think that's foreskin is there for a reason. Your Yeah, your sweat glands are there for a reason. 00:06:56 Speaker 1: Yeah, but you get rid of pubic carre and that's there for a reason. 00:06:58 Speaker 7: Mm. Yeah. 00:07:00 Speaker 6: But I make that decision to get rid of pepic care. My parents didn't make that decision for me when I was unable to complain about it. Because it still hurts the babies. They're just unable to complain about it. 00:07:09 Speaker 7: They're already crying. Just cut the shit off. Did they do it? 00:07:12 Speaker 1: They don't do it right away? 00:07:13 Speaker 7: Yeah, like three days? 00:07:14 Speaker 9: Like three days? 00:07:15 Speaker 1: Yeah, do that ship right when I come out. No, that's a match for three days. 00:07:22 Speaker 7: They don't have memories and take you like five anyway. 00:07:24 Speaker 6: Remember it's traumatic in the moment. Just because you don't remember it doesn't make it not traumatic. You've been through some trauma you just don't remember. That's why you act like that. 00:07:31 Speaker 1: That's why your hair looks like that. 00:07:34 Speaker 7: Hair. 00:07:35 Speaker 1: I didn't say nothing, just the fact that that was his response. I know he's been through trauma. What's wrong with my hair? 00:07:42 Speaker 5: Yo? 00:07:42 Speaker 2: I ain't gonna lie. I took two gummies this morning. If that's what you're saying, then yeah, I'm on board with that. 00:08:49 Speaker 2: Because I'm thinking, like, what if I had to work in the workplace right now that was like the prototypical Cuba coles and I have to deal with so many different people and emotions. Nobody could piss me off right now, you get me a try. 00:09:01 Speaker 1: I really really liked it Not Like Us video. 00:09:03 Speaker 3: Nobody could kiss me off. 00:09:05 Speaker 2: Great video. 00:09:06 Speaker 1: That's probably the best. I think Not Like Us video might be the best video that's ever existed. 00:09:11 Speaker 2: If that's how you if that Missy and Buster could never If that's what it. 00:09:14 Speaker 3: Spoke to you, My brother didn't have at it. 00:09:17 Speaker 8: I was always off at the water cooler talk speaking of like being in an office at the label, because most of my time at Atlantic was done at home, so when we were back in the office, I had to like small talk for the first time, and it was it was I was so bad at it. 00:09:31 Speaker 7: I can't do it, you micro, I can't do it. 00:09:33 Speaker 2: You did. 00:09:35 Speaker 1: Sonday, I went to my man Rich's birthday party, and I had not seen a lot of people in years. It was like a reunion of the past fifteen years. 00:09:42 Speaker 9: Shout out the rich. 00:09:43 Speaker 1: So much bad small talk, Oh my bad. Oh, so Gaminazi was working kid, you know, work father crazy? 00:09:54 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what that's all I got. So you got And that's okay, that's what That's what we don't understand about each Like sometimes it's okay to recognize, like, yo, that's all he got, man, he's dad now, Like yo, listen, man, he just happy to be outside for a change, that's it. Yeah. 00:10:08 Speaker 1: And then I'll just find it's the real because with them, I don't need a small talk and just be sarcastic. Yeah and yeah. I just hide behind those tall guys and talk about the locks. 00:10:19 Speaker 6: Look at the real talk you want to have, like people asking about your kid, but nah. 00:10:23 Speaker 1: The lot, Yeah, No, I want about that kiss verse. 00:10:27 Speaker 7: I did. 00:10:28 Speaker 1: I had a nice, like relaxing I didn't do any Fourth of July shit. I needed a relaxing weekend. And I did the gym Friday through Sunday A and I had my head on a fucking swivel based off the things you guys told me about the steam room. I walked into the steam room clenching. I clenched as I walked in, like just just like. 00:10:49 Speaker 7: This, put a lock box on it. 00:10:51 Speaker 1: Yeah, I was scared. I could not pause, get you guys out of my head while I was trying to try to have a nice thing. And then I was curious if I was giving off any vibe vis are, like doing any signs that I didn't mean to, Like if wiping off sweat actually means yo, let's go fuck it's. 00:11:05 Speaker 3: Like baseball signals. 00:11:06 Speaker 7: Yeah at home, you got to sit on your hands. 00:11:10 Speaker 1: Sit on your hands. What I almost went in there like with phone books taped around me. That's how scared, Like he was the yard, I was so scared and have. 00:11:21 Speaker 7: A steam room. 00:11:22 Speaker 8: All this time, I've been talking about wanting to go steam and you just now tell us you. 00:11:26 Speaker 1: Think I was going to call you to come steam over over Fourth of July week? 00:11:29 Speaker 2: Want to go steam? It's ninety four degrees offside. Go down on the subway platform on. 00:11:33 Speaker 7: The Yeah, stand on Canal. 00:11:34 Speaker 2: Yeah, stand on Canal Street. Down in the subway for thirty minutes. It's old steam. You need five minutes. Yeah, it's crazy minutes. Why haven't we Why haven't the New York City subways? Why haven't we developed to the point where we have air conditioners on the platforms? 00:11:48 Speaker 7: Oh? On the platform? I don't know. 00:11:50 Speaker 2: I mean we trust me, we are trust me. I ordered a ten dollars burg on Uber East the other night. Additional fees and taxes got me out thirty five. 00:11:59 Speaker 7: Dollars for a vegan burger. 00:12:01 Speaker 2: I said, Yo, how is taxes and other feed? What is other fees? 00:12:06 Speaker 1: Joe Biden said he was gonna take down Ticketmaster. 00:12:08 Speaker 2: Take some of them other fees y'all taken and put some acs down in the subway. 00:12:11 Speaker 6: Man, Well, that's Uber Eats is taking them fees, not just the taxes uber eat. 00:12:15 Speaker 9: That's the Uber eats fee. 00:12:17 Speaker 6: You know Instacart Fucking well, the reason why Instacart doesn't put your receipt in the bag is because they're up charging the fuck out of you for that food, and they don't want you to see what your real total was. 00:12:26 Speaker 2: You don't read the receipt before when you check out. No, I still if I go out to dinner right now, I'm still reading the receipt. 00:12:32 Speaker 9: No, I read the receipt. 00:12:33 Speaker 6: What I'm saying is the receipt when I check out will not match the receipt when the Uber eats. I mean when the Instacart driver at the grocery store checks out. I see there'll be a difference because they're paying the regular grocery store prices and I'm paying instacr price. 00:12:47 Speaker 2: Oh, Uber eats is is go to the store for me? 00:12:49 Speaker 7: Yeah? 00:12:49 Speaker 2: Remember nigga used to tell your go to the store for me. That's all luber eats is. 00:12:53 Speaker 3: And then you let the nigga keep the. 00:12:54 Speaker 7: Change the change. 00:12:54 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a little different than keeping the change now. 00:12:56 Speaker 2: No, now we're hoping. I'm keeping the change and in you go bade me twenty hours on top of. 00:13:02 Speaker 1: It, I don't look at the receipts of the grocer store anymore because I still steal. Like I still steal? 00:13:07 Speaker 7: Why not? Yeah? 00:13:08 Speaker 2: Like self checkout? 00:13:09 Speaker 1: Have you been into food and porium lately? 00:13:10 Speaker 3: Like self checkout? 00:13:11 Speaker 7: Yeah? 00:13:12 Speaker 2: Oh yeah, self checkout is catch me if you can. That's all that is. 00:13:15 Speaker 9: I got a homegirl. 00:13:16 Speaker 6: I was stealing from Whole Foods right in front of the camera, terrifying me. 00:13:19 Speaker 9: I said, I can't do it. 00:13:20 Speaker 6: Whole Foods. 00:13:21 Speaker 1: They gotta chase me. 00:13:23 Speaker 2: Yo, You're getting chased in Avocado's falling out your bag. 00:13:29 Speaker 7: Yo. 00:13:30 Speaker 2: Imagine you just see Rory right like. Yah, we going groceries all the way up up the block. 00:13:35 Speaker 1: I was. As kids, we used to steal like too much. I'm actually kind of embarrassed the lengths we would go. We used to wear the Adida's swishy pants like that had the elastic and we would cut cut the pockets out of them and just drop shit. 00:13:47 Speaker 7: Yeah. 00:13:47 Speaker 1: We just to take razors to the CD store and cut out the CDs and just put them in our hoodies. Yeah, that's that's like, why was I stealing CDs? 00:13:54 Speaker 7: Man? 00:13:55 Speaker 1: Like napsterricks. 00:13:55 Speaker 2: That's what you're supposed to do though, You're supposed to steal CDs. I guess, yeah, that was that was part of growing up. 00:14:00 Speaker 7: I got it college life for sure. 00:14:02 Speaker 2: Stilling is part of like the right of passage. You got to steal something and just fill out adrenaline rush and then like hopefully you don't you know, take it too, because I knew when to stop, like I knew that time. My uncle took me. We went to the store and he was trying to buy a grill. Don't ask me why. I think this is when like electric grills first was like popp it. 00:14:24 Speaker 1: We went out to fucking grill. 00:14:25 Speaker 2: Yo, we're trying to buy electric grill. This was the electric grill. I'll never forget this shit. We standing there, my uncle hands the person the credit card, right, so she scanedu whatever I guess it said contact bank or whatever. But I'm young, I'm stupid, I'm not even I don't know. I don't know this game yet. And she picks up the phone and calls and it's the bank, I guess. So then the lady was like, yo, they want to talk to you. The handing the phone with my uncle. My uncle was like hello. He's like okay, all r yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, all right, thank you and hung up and he was like, yo, come on, let's go. 00:15:00 Speaker 10: Now. 00:15:01 Speaker 2: I'm young, I don't know this game, the credit card game yet. I'm like all right, whatever, but I look, I'm like why are we not taking the grill right? So I'm thinking like, damn, he ain't got no money. But we start he started pulling me. We end up running out the store, so I'm like, yo, what we running for? The card was my whole had a stolen credit card. But when he called the bank, they started asking him like, yo, how did you get this card with your name? And he just spout him like yeah, yeah, all right, cool, yeah hung up. But I didn't know that game. I just thought like he was the car didn't work, he had no money. I'm like, why you got me with you on this mission? Like as I get older, I'm like, yo, but why you took me on that that dummy mission with? 00:15:41 Speaker 1: Somebody gotta teach you that's part of the writer pack. 00:15:43 Speaker 2: You gotta feel that adrenaline running out the store and you're not knowing if you could run the security guard overnot. You gotta you gotta, you gotta feel that at one point in your. 00:15:51 Speaker 6: Childhood, and you gotta it's easier to take when you have a younger kid with you. You look more innocent, like nobody would think, damn he in here with a stolen credit card and his son like nobody. 00:16:00 Speaker 7: Even think that ship. 00:16:01 Speaker 8: I think that more kid. Greatest hustle is the mother with the kid on the train. Oh yeah, that's a undefeated duo. 00:16:13 Speaker 1: Oh I mean currently right now with amaras stroller, there's like a bottom part and I'll put groceries under there and then just forget that them ships. Was like I'll pay for some stuff. Yeah, but like I forgot all the stuff was under the stroller. 00:16:26 Speaker 2: But as a white man in America, that ship duty, that'shit. You can do that. They're supposed to just let you have that on the house. 00:16:31 Speaker 3: They gonna tackle me. 00:16:33 Speaker 1: For all the whites. It's on the house. 00:16:34 Speaker 3: In the house, it's on the house. This is your country, don't worry about it. 00:16:37 Speaker 1: When we were allegedly pledging because of Song Fraternity Incorporated is a non hazing organization. Yeah, that boots right. So seven of us walked into Walmart and put on these big ass combat boots and just ran out of Walmart with the boots on. Yeah, all of us walked in, put the boots on, found our side, and then had our shoes in our hand and just dead sprinted out of Walmart. There's a lot of people at the spot we were in, and she was like, where are the straight men in the house? And I was like, well, we're in Hell's kitchen. So you came to the wrong fucking neighborhood. Let's start there. Yeah, you're complaining about we're in gay neighborhood. We're the odd men out here. 00:22:28 Speaker 3: I don't know if you noticed that or not. 00:22:30 Speaker 9: The odd bad bitches out But I was in Brooklyn. 00:22:32 Speaker 6: I'm like, yo, when I'm in Brooklyn, like I miss when Brooklyn was dangerous, Like it's still is, I'm sure, but like it ain't. 00:22:38 Speaker 2: You're just shot by, don't get it. 00:22:42 Speaker 1: Omar attacked that ass. 00:22:44 Speaker 2: Don't get it twisted like them gay. First of all, I haven't been half naked in like seven years. I was half naked. 00:23:16 Speaker 2: I went out half naked. I just saw you three episodes in this chair half naked. 00:23:24 Speaker 6: What I'm saying is I went outside in a bathing suit top and like low rise slacks like I was, like I was naked outside. 00:23:30 Speaker 1: And slacks and saying I was finally naked. It's crazy state farm on khakis, slacks. 00:23:39 Speaker 2: You know, having slacks on the saying you naked. 00:23:42 Speaker 6: The picture Julian, But anyway, I was half naked, and I'm like, everybody just complimented my outfit. There was they do it like every year. I was. It was really fun. It was too fucking hot. 00:24:26 Speaker 1: Were you hosting or something? What was going on? I know? 00:24:28 Speaker 7: So they do like. 00:24:29 Speaker 8: Uh, they do like a mic thing in the crowd. And then I had this whole plan. It was a really great idea actually, but I am not a technologically sound guy and none of them knew how to connect the wireless road mics, so we ended up scrapping that idea would have been fun for. 00:24:46 Speaker 1: A camera guy idea. 00:24:48 Speaker 8: It's like the parties called Pangae and it's like global Afro Caribbean, like it's they have a very eclectic, diverse audience. And I had this idea of bringing a map, like a world map, and I had I bought stickers. 00:25:00 Speaker 1: People just want to party, man, Why. 00:25:04 Speaker 2: Not trying to quiz people at the party. They want to get drunken dance, they want to get drunkene. 00:25:09 Speaker 6: You're trying to fuck up the wedding. You trying to up You want to. 00:25:12 Speaker 1: Hear about the car accident, almost died in it, the happiest day of your life. 00:25:18 Speaker 2: Bringing a map to a party, Get the fuck out of here with. 00:25:21 Speaker 1: You trying to know the capital stuff out of my face. 00:25:23 Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know where we are on the map. 00:25:25 Speaker 8: Well, the point is like I would go up to someone with the mic and take out the map. The concept is I have the map, they take a sticker like they put it where their family is from. 00:25:35 Speaker 7: So like origin story, my family's Jamaican. 00:25:39 Speaker 8: And then I was like okay, like and then you just quick follow up question like what's the best Jamaican food? Spot in New York City and then whatever boom and it would be a TikTok like editing. 00:25:47 Speaker 9: Oh you were content creating, okay. 00:25:49 Speaker 7: Really doing something. 00:25:50 Speaker 8: It wasn't just that I wasn't harassing people with the map got you okay? 00:25:53 Speaker 1: Okay? So what would have happened if you landed on someone that was his ring? 00:25:57 Speaker 7: Well, I would addit. I cut that part of the map. 00:26:00 Speaker 1: No, they cut most of them. You know what, Michael Rubens White, you were there. 00:26:07 Speaker 2: I was sleep. Drake give us like four minutes and thirty two seconds. You can clock it right now. Oh I know that everyone was in the water. Oh that's fun. Though they're young. 00:30:41 Speaker 2: What used to do? 00:30:42 Speaker 9: No matter how young I am, that would give me anxiety? 00:30:44 Speaker 2: Or is the shipping in the pool is craziness? 00:30:46 Speaker 6: Man? 00:30:48 Speaker 1: When I was this young, anxiety didn't exist, so I would have been fine. Unwalkable was like the word. 00:31:20 Speaker 9: I remember that. 00:31:21 Speaker 1: That was a thing, like in all caps on Facebook, like it's unwalkable, and it's like, why would I want to go there? I want to what if there's a fire? 00:31:30 Speaker 7: Who at twenty two is thinking about that? 00:31:32 Speaker 1: Though nobody me with anxiety and didn't know what it was I thought about. 00:31:35 Speaker 6: People started shooting. That's why I never liked packed parties. If somebody started shooting, I can't run, or I can get trampled or I never really liked packed parties like that. 00:31:43 Speaker 3: It's crazy. 00:31:44 Speaker 2: The thought of going to a club and it being packed and me being in there like shoulder to shoulder with people. 00:31:49 Speaker 3: I don't know. And some people are licensed to carry. 00:33:47 Speaker 7: Not here. 00:33:47 Speaker 1: Some people don't have a license to carry and carry, it's still carry. 00:33:50 Speaker 3: Well. 00:33:50 Speaker 2: Yeah that he looked like he was licensed to carry though the way he pulled that out. 00:33:54 Speaker 1: Yeah, I could tell by his cargo shorts he has a license. 00:33:56 Speaker 2: To Yeah that like that ensemble. He's definitely up off duty detective. 00:34:01 Speaker 6: But you love, nobody was hurt. Yeah, So why are y'all Why are y'all an already memory? 00:34:08 Speaker 2: He pays his membership fees. Okay, baby davel Okay. 00:34:14 Speaker 8: Nah, you're on trend with the where you like, don't really do your pants? 00:34:18 Speaker 1: Hey, I got you, I got you. Hey, nice slucks, thank you, thank you. 00:34:22 Speaker 6: Julian is pulling up the picture that I sent him when we were talking about when I went to Brooklyn. 00:34:27 Speaker 1: No, you look good and rest. I know you've been in the gym. I know you've been feel healthy. So Congress, I think that's great. 00:34:32 Speaker 6: But yeah, I look like that. There should be men offering to pay my bills and eat me. From the ruler to the tutor. Why are y'all complimenting my outfit and calling me a cunt. 00:34:43 Speaker 1: Isn't a compliment in the gay community. That's like, bitch, you so cunty? Like isn't that like you're so pretty? 00:34:48 Speaker 2: But that's one of those cops you have to be to use that. 00:34:52 Speaker 7: It is such a great word. Yo. 00:34:54 Speaker 3: Do you know how crazy it is to call a woman a cunt? 00:34:55 Speaker 7: Though? 00:34:56 Speaker 2: Like, I can never do that. If I call a woman that, I'm out of here. 00:35:00 Speaker 1: When the Beyonce Renaissance album came out and they was all mad because she like used the word retard, I was like, she was calling us No one was offended by that. Whoh she said, spast what about calling me aunt? And she changed it too, but left cunt. 00:35:19 Speaker 3: No, that's still there. Yeah, turn that up, she. 00:35:21 Speaker 1: Said, She said, we mad cunty hunty. 00:35:23 Speaker 3: I was like, what insane? 00:35:26 Speaker 1: Well, anyways, Michael Rubens All White Party. 00:35:29 Speaker 2: Shout out to Michael Rubins All White Party once again, everybody, what's what. 00:35:35 Speaker 1: Do you think people get like pussy at that party? Where do you go? 00:35:38 Speaker 3: It means plenty of Like I don't people. 00:35:40 Speaker 1: I don't think people stay at Michael Ruben's house. 00:35:42 Speaker 2: No, no, no, there's plenty of people that are renting houses up there in the Hamptons that week or that weekend. 00:35:47 Speaker 6: Yeah, I want to see the afterho who threw the after party up in the Hamptons, That's what I want to. 00:35:51 Speaker 1: See, you know. Beyonce was definitely not letting Hove walk back to their Hampton's house with the host. 00:35:57 Speaker 6: Was were they there? J jay Z did a I didn't see b I saw Jay. 00:36:01 Speaker 1: He had like a walk walk a thon. 00:36:03 Speaker 9: Oh yeah, he's in a walking club. 00:36:05 Speaker 7: Walk a fella, walking club. 00:36:07 Speaker 6: Walk a fella. It's so funny. 00:36:09 Speaker 1: I really can't getting walk a fella would walk. 00:36:13 Speaker 3: I'm in walker fella, but I don't even know. That's what. 00:36:14 Speaker 1: You can't feel your feet, You're not That's. 00:36:16 Speaker 2: What I said. 00:36:16 Speaker 3: I want to walk the I can't feel nothing here is funny I've. 00:36:20 Speaker 9: Ever heard in my life. 00:36:21 Speaker 6: But yeah, so jay Z's in a walking club, which is what people in their forties and fifties are he doing? 00:36:27 Speaker 9: Mall, join one, you can walk to Boston. 00:36:29 Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm trying to tell you I'm I'm walking walking more than all these niggas. 00:36:39 Speaker 5: Mall. 00:36:39 Speaker 1: We can't. We can't avoid it. 00:36:41 Speaker 3: What are we trying to avoid them? 00:36:42 Speaker 1: Not trying? We made we made jokes and talked about it. We have to how's it go? 00:36:51 Speaker 9: Damn you made it? Fucking what? 00:36:55 Speaker 1: I hate the number one song in the world. We have to talk about The note Us video came out July fourth, did his juneteenh show, and then dropped the video on Independence Day where everybody in America was free or July fourth everyone sixteen o nine. Yeah, that's an accurate date. I was in social studies during nine to eleven. Where do you want to begin. Let's start with a snippet at the top of the video. I assume that's a Farrel beat. Can we all just safely say that's a Farel beat? 00:37:31 Speaker 2: Sure, don't sound like a beat to me, but really, no sounds mustardy. 00:37:35 Speaker 1: That sounds like a direct Farrel beat to me. 00:37:39 Speaker 3: No, I don't think it's a I mean it could be. I don't think so, though. 00:37:42 Speaker 1: Keeps the horn on them like KMASI that sounds like a joint. Sorry, I'm getting like excited about a snippet, but that snippet is fire. 00:37:50 Speaker 7: Yeah. 00:37:50 Speaker 2: I've heard people saying diabolical is a new favorite word. 00:37:54 Speaker 1: Diabolical. 00:37:55 Speaker 2: Oh man, they use a diabolical for anything. 00:37:57 Speaker 3: Oh, it's diabolical. 00:37:58 Speaker 6: Wrong. 00:37:59 Speaker 2: It diabolical. Oh, Kamassi Washington, Y know, y'all don't even get it. 00:38:02 Speaker 3: It plays the sax. I think we get it. 00:38:04 Speaker 1: Yeah, it was actually a pretty easy bar to understand. 00:38:07 Speaker 2: No, it's diabolic. Hole just I'm just trying to look at it. 00:38:12 Speaker 1: A bunch of reaction videos. Oh my god, the history of Kamasi Washington. 00:38:15 Speaker 2: Yo, the ship they broke down in the video. And you're hating y'all go back to here your feet. I'm hating how I'm talking about the videos that people are making breaking down the video. 00:38:24 Speaker 1: I know it warranted that. No, there was a lot of like Easter eggs and things to break down down to the knock and the dance. Yeah, that's connected. 00:38:32 Speaker 7: It's funny. 00:38:33 Speaker 8: In that same car ride after we listen to this song, we were going through all the references and all the moments that this music video provided. One of the first one being the knock at the top of the video with the history of the cakewalk, and then I really thought about, like every single thing if it originated in this country, it was rooted in some racist ass ship. Yeah, so pretty much everything like this elementary knock is just oh yeah, by the way, this is what the slaves. 00:38:56 Speaker 1: That's like, of course it is. I'll be honest with you. I had no idea Cakewalk was started to slavery, But once I saw the explanation, I was like, yeah, check it out. 00:39:03 Speaker 7: It makes sense. 00:39:03 Speaker 1: Yeah. Now this country is obsessed with slavery. Everything we have is That's a fact. Everything is just based. 00:39:11 Speaker 2: Everything that come from it has to be slavery from somewhere because everything was built on it. 00:39:15 Speaker 3: It's the foundation of the country. 00:39:17 Speaker 1: I feel like, ever since Childish Gambino, this is America, I've always enjoyed when people make videos that are geared towards the YouTube community that break down every last thing. I actually enjoy that type of stuff. I think it's cool that they do that. I think it's smart to do that type of stuff with videos. You want to get people to sit for two hours and break down three seconds. Yeah, So I think Dave and Kendrick knock this out the park for what they were supposed to do. Thought visually it was really cool. I loved We already knew that when it's Kendrick, there's going to be a million different, small, intricate things that everyone's going to break down. But I thought visually it was a cool video. They kind of haven't missed, like when they did the first press release of Pece You Lang saying this is gonna be a creative company. They're going to focus on visuals. Have they failed yet? From Heart Part five on has PG lang failed in the visual area? 00:40:12 Speaker 3: I mean they haven't. 00:40:13 Speaker 2: It was a hot Part five all the visuals from mister Morrale Heart. 00:40:17 Speaker 7: Remember they used the deep fake. 00:40:19 Speaker 1: The baby Kamen Kendrick joint that they did from Family Ties, the Odd Future announcement, Like, I think we just need to put a little bit more respect on Dave's name as far as a director like Dave has been smoking this ship. 00:40:33 Speaker 7: Yeah. 00:40:34 Speaker 1: I loved say what you want about the beef and knocking the owl out and all that. But visually every shot in this was amazing. 00:40:43 Speaker 7: Yeah, there's some beautiful stills. 00:40:45 Speaker 1: Even like even if you could find it corny that he's beating up the owl penata, just that blue background was such a beautiful fucking shot. Everything visually about this was just great. 00:40:55 Speaker 8: The shot of him going over what is that called what are thecot the hopscotch shot, the the shot of the woman walking the wire just even the great the simplicity of the all the rates and. 00:41:07 Speaker 1: How it was colored. It was just a cool video. 00:41:10 Speaker 8: Yeah, the black I love how this was done in black and white with him and his kids and Whitney dancing almost like with the fish eye lends. 00:41:17 Speaker 6: Yeah, it kind of looked almost like a security camera, like you were getting an inside look. 00:41:20 Speaker 7: Yeah. 00:41:21 Speaker 2: But when Mister Morale came out, Rory, when we went to the show, we did say that it did seem like Kendrick creatively was entering another level. Yeah, for even the stage show at Mister Morale. Clearly the production and it kind of felt as if it was like a play almost had that kind of story book telling to it. So yeah, that's that's some powerful what I think PG Lang is trying to do as far as visually, and you know, they want to create, they want to have fun. Like you said, BF, aside, I thought the video was cool, Yeah, I mean I didn't. It wasn't nothing that was aside from it, like you said the Easter Eggs, I didn't. Visually, it didn't like blow me Away. 00:42:03 Speaker 3: It was cool THO. I thought it was. It did what it was supposed to do. 00:42:05 Speaker 1: But I mean I feel like that's been most of PG Lang's stuff has been great simplistic videos because even hard part five like this is a good it was against just there's a way to. 00:42:14 Speaker 2: Do some simplistic videos. 00:42:16 Speaker 1: The focus of that was obviously the AI they were using for Kendrick's face a one shot performance. And even it wasn't Families, it was Hillbillies or whatever that shit was. That wasn't name of the record, right, Oh yes, yes, super simplistic video. But I think they smoked it. And this is the same way the instricracies came in the Eastern Eggs in my opinion, where that's. 00:42:38 Speaker 3: Where the the goal was at. 00:42:41 Speaker 2: They knew people were going to have to they they planted things in the video visually for people like you said to deep dive into and break down and react to. So on that part of it, I think, you know, they obviously spent their time and made sure. 00:42:55 Speaker 3: They executed that part of it, right. But I mean, now, what now that the vide. 00:43:00 Speaker 1: Was out, still the biggest song in the world. Let it Rock. 00:43:05 Speaker 6: Yeah, I want to know when the album's coming out. I want to know when his is coming out. 00:43:09 Speaker 2: I want to know, Well, he has a date on his jacket that everybody can No, he doesn't it, says s S twenty twenty four. 00:43:15 Speaker 3: I thought it was eight eight. 00:43:16 Speaker 1: Yeah, they found the jacket, of course, you two found it and the actual jacket, says s slash S. But in that pixelated screen, ship looks like it looked like eight eight. Okay. One of the things that I said August I wasn't a reference to Kobe August eighth. 00:43:29 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I didn't have a reference to Kobe. 00:43:31 Speaker 3: Oh what that was. 00:43:32 Speaker 1: But they'll find any way to try to put two and two together. 00:43:37 Speaker 8: I did a dive myself that I didn't see on the online. I just off first reaction after watching the video when he puts the al in the cage at the end. Anytime you see a bird in the cage, I'm instantly reminded of May Angelou's I Know why the cage bird sings. 00:43:51 Speaker 1: Yeah. I think that was a pretty straightforward reference with you. 00:43:54 Speaker 8: Yeah, like with that, it's like the bird be meaning the bird in the cage representing black people in America always oppressed, and all the ship that comes with that, and then the white bird roaming free, the dove that has the ability to do whatever it wants, and I thought in the inverse of that, what Kendrick did was put the owl, the drake, the domineering figure into the cage and like kind of like symbolizing that your time's up staying there. I'm the blackbirds out. 00:44:20 Speaker 2: Now the blackbird sings, Yeah, that's the that's the dove you went on. 00:44:26 Speaker 1: Yeah, I kind of, but I kind of thought that went straight up the theory of that shot. I don't think that's a far fetched. Yeah, I think I think that's kind of what all of us took from that shot. 00:44:35 Speaker 2: H I mean, obviously it was a symbolic thing. You put an owl in a cage. Whether you read Maya Angelo's book or not, you're going to attach that to that meaning of Okay, I got him in the cage. 00:44:46 Speaker 3: Now it's over. 00:44:47 Speaker 1: I want to see the bts of Kendrick with the owl, like in between shots. That's that's the content I really want to see. As someone that's worked with animals on video sets before, it is the craziest fucking thing you can ever do. I did it with cats and had a bad experience. I could only imagine a live owl on Kendrick's arm in between shots, like Yeah, we're getting the blocking and the lighting together. You have an owl on my fucking arm. Gus, do we figure this out? 00:45:12 Speaker 3: Doesn't Big Boy have owls? 00:45:13 Speaker 7: Yeah? 00:45:14 Speaker 2: He does, like you just have them in the studio like just yea his pat owls. 00:45:18 Speaker 6: That's fucking crazy, tast said the owl probably thought he was going to a Harry Potter. 00:45:22 Speaker 2: Audish who said that he. 00:45:26 Speaker 1: Was represented by Cia and Yo, that. 00:45:29 Speaker 9: Ship had me cracking up. 00:45:31 Speaker 1: Owls are very interesting creatures. 00:45:33 Speaker 7: They're beautiful. 00:45:34 Speaker 1: They're kind of fucking terrifying, though. 00:45:36 Speaker 7: I think they're beautiful. 00:45:37 Speaker 1: Have you guys seen The Fourth Kind? The movie and the connection between owls and aliens? 00:45:42 Speaker 7: Here we go, oh bad? 00:45:45 Speaker 3: Sometimes you just got to lead a hat at home. 00:45:48 Speaker 1: The Fourth Kind is a movie. 00:45:50 Speaker 2: I understand that. I understand that it's. 00:45:52 Speaker 1: Like a blockbuster movie. 00:45:53 Speaker 2: There's no conspiracy to get that party. 00:45:54 Speaker 1: They just tie in the connection between owls and aliens in the movie. 00:45:58 Speaker 3: Okay, what is the science between animal? 00:46:00 Speaker 1: They're the same fucking thing those Yeah, what other creature can turn its head? Three sixty? 00:46:06 Speaker 7: Did you guys see? 00:46:07 Speaker 8: Speaking of owls, there's something like in California that they're doing a population control thing where they're about to kill off a half a million owls. 00:46:14 Speaker 1: What are the killing? They just need to put a bunch of owls in the New York City subway system, do you guys? The rats just get Yeah, get all the rats out. Instead of killing these beautiful creatures that ain't, just throw them in the a train. 00:46:27 Speaker 7: Do you imagine a bunch of owls just being. 00:46:29 Speaker 9: Loose in your God, i'd rather the rats. 00:46:32 Speaker 8: I just leave my window open and the owl just flying. 00:46:35 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:46:36 Speaker 1: You know, how have you seen how big an owl's claw is? 00:46:38 Speaker 7: Yo? 00:46:39 Speaker 1: You're just sitting on the bench waiting for the train. 00:46:41 Speaker 2: Imagine you had your window open and you go to the bathroom. You come back and it's an owl sitting on your fucking on your TV. 00:46:46 Speaker 6: You meet his TV because I'm I've moved out. 00:46:49 Speaker 1: Yeah, I got aish your crib now, Yo? 00:46:52 Speaker 2: Seeing a bird in your house that at yours, that has to be one of the scary things ever. 00:46:57 Speaker 6: Well, like you know a lot of people have bat will get a bat or two. 00:47:01 Speaker 1: So my aunt that lives upstate, and I don't know if this is true because my family lies to me a lot said one time when she was asleep, like on her bed frame, like the headrest thing. There was a bat just hanging and she like looked over and it was there, and then they just ran out, and I guess cold like whatever. The cops for animals are the cops. 00:47:26 Speaker 2: Police. 00:47:26 Speaker 1: Oh, we need to defund the police. The cops is showing up when bats are. 00:47:29 Speaker 2: Around, they show up. Anything else, just shoot them. If niggas was around, they show up and shoot them. Why not the bird? 00:47:34 Speaker 1: Probably they would probably take good care of the bat. Oh yeah, bats are like one of my fears with animals. 00:47:40 Speaker 3: Seeing a bat in your house is wild as fuck. 00:47:42 Speaker 7: How does a bat getting having to my parents before my dad's uh. 00:47:45 Speaker 3: Yeah, the front doors are just wild. 00:47:47 Speaker 8: As the door window crack something like that. My dad took a broom and wow. 00:47:51 Speaker 6: Chimneys sometimes atticts like top at like you know, older houses will have little holes in them. 00:47:57 Speaker 9: They'll come in through attics and things like that. 00:48:00 Speaker 3: Vietnam cool. 00:48:01 Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm terrified of that. 00:48:03 Speaker 7: Fuck a bad. I'd rather have an owl gat in the house. 00:48:05 Speaker 9: Yeah, terrified bats. I'm terrified anything with wings. 00:48:07 Speaker 1: But all right, so well, but those owls that we see in like these beautiful photos are not what I feel like the average owl in the wild that would show up in your crib would look like like those look like beautiful Majestic National Geographic Photographer shots. Like what does a real owl just look like when it's saw? 00:48:27 Speaker 7: A barn owl is the most common common. 00:48:30 Speaker 1: Like I don't think it would be groomed this way like it just left. 00:48:34 Speaker 7: That's a bad bitch. 00:48:36 Speaker 8: Yeah, it's serving kunt as they would say in Brooklyn. 00:48:40 Speaker 1: In Brooklyn, it's a very pretentious animal. 00:48:43 Speaker 7: It's a kantil, Like I don't think. 00:48:45 Speaker 1: That's flying into your house. 00:48:47 Speaker 8: Also, that is terrified, Like it's beautiful in the photo, but that face. 00:48:52 Speaker 1: That looks like when Baisley leaves the groomers. I want to know what the real owl, the musty owl the month that would show up in your fucking career, bro, look at you looking for that'd be terrifying. Well, either way, what do you think Drake thought about the video? Did you gotta talk? No? 00:49:07 Speaker 2: But no? I think that you know, obviously he knew that this was a video that they was planning on doing for a while. I thought the video would have came out probably right after the Amazon show. 00:49:17 Speaker 3: But this is. 00:49:19 Speaker 2: Probably the last I mean I'm pretty sure on the album, Kendrick is probably still going to have some verses and some some lines tailored for Drake. But I think this is probably as far as the beef battle, this is probably the last installment of that. We was just waiting for this for this visual of vide. I mean, he kept in La, went to tams Burg's and all of that. 00:49:40 Speaker 1: A lot of crumb dancing. 00:49:41 Speaker 2: Yeah, like you know, he kept at LA. But now what Now we got to get the album. We gotta get the music. 00:49:47 Speaker 1: I mean, I love that Drake do from here. He brought back the snippet because that used to be a. 00:49:52 Speaker 9: Thing slipping in the beginning or at the end at the end. 00:49:55 Speaker 1: For the next single. I thought that was great. So I'm excited for this to just be over and move on to music because again I love that snippet. Even though it was ten seconds, it sounds fire. So yeah, I'm excited for music. I hope you want to hit open to the next two weeks. 00:50:11 Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to hit the album. 00:50:12 Speaker 2: I want to hear what because obviously, you know, you just look at the whole entire beef and how this thing started, like it's a lot of questions like why did Obviously Kendrick was prepared for this situation. 00:50:22 Speaker 3: You wanted this moment. 00:50:24 Speaker 2: But my thing is why I use the Future album song to basically start it? Well, that's why record of your own and just that's the only question that still happened, like why did it start? 00:50:35 Speaker 3: Because you got to go back to where it started? 00:50:37 Speaker 2: Well it didn't start there, but you got to go back to that uh, that Future record like that like that in that verse, like why did Kendrick choose that moment to basically set this entire historic thing off? 00:50:55 Speaker 3: Like why was it. 00:50:57 Speaker 2: Everything else? Like let's deep dive, why why use that moment? I just that's the one thing I keep thinking about, like why would you? Because you essentially gave Future a part of this moment, right. 00:51:11 Speaker 1: He gave them the song of the summer until not like Us came out, right, so you get like that was supposed to be. 00:51:16 Speaker 2: He gave them that moment it started to that song with number one, right Belivia. So I just that's the only thing I keep asking myself is why use that moment? Why not? 00:51:27 Speaker 1: Just but why not? When you're seeing after first person shooter comes out? Why do Cole and Drake then go on tour together after First Person Shooter, Like, I see you're wise, but you could say wise with everything else. Why why are they now making a moment out of this song that has to do with the Big Three but there's one missing and now you guys are on tour together. Yeah, but I don't think it's unwarranted for Kendrick to be like he fuck y'all, it's me. 00:51:52 Speaker 2: That's a little odd because the record wasn't Dysen Kendrick. First Person Shooter wasn't Dyson Kendrick. Drake. Still it doesn't understand why would even put that verse in there, Like he didn't understand that part of it. But whatever, that's your bars, that's your bars. But now it's like even that record, like. 00:52:07 Speaker 1: That's your bars, that's your bars. Is funny. 00:52:09 Speaker 2: Yeah, because you as as as an artist as a rapper, I think, I don't think that you as big as an artist as Drake is. I don't even think Drake would tell J Cole to change his verse. Yeah, you understand what I'm saying, Like, you don't tell J Cole to say changes verse. That's not something that Yeah, you're not telling J Cole to changes verse. Right, So you listen to the verse that he did and you're like, okay, you sure about that? Because again, now you can't even perform that record, and that's what was that Cole's first number one? Yeah, you can't perform your first number one record. What artists can't perform their first number one record? Brick Cross he has one with Drake. Yeah, oh well, you understand what I'm saying. Like, it's just like he didn't think it through. I think I think. 00:52:54 Speaker 1: Back to what Rory said, like game performs how we do all the time, back to. 00:52:58 Speaker 2: What Rory said about and hated I love it. Maybe Kendrick hearing it and hearing that song and end up being on tour, maybe that rubbed him the wrong way. But I don't understand why that would rub him the wrong way because. 00:53:09 Speaker 1: They were the wrong way. But just competition of like, all right, bet if this was y'all doing, y'all clicking. 00:53:14 Speaker 6: Up Kendrick Bennett, like, have we forgotten the control verse? It was never a lovey dovey type shit. 00:53:19 Speaker 7: Listen. 00:53:20 Speaker 1: She thought it was very nice. He said, Hey, I love all of you guys, but you're my competition. I think that's the exact quote. 00:53:25 Speaker 2: No, listen, I get that point. Like I said, it didn't start with the like that record, but that like that verse set all of this off. Yeah, and I just I'm just trying to figure out why Kendrick would use that moment on a future album instead of just putting out a Kendrick record. 00:53:41 Speaker 1: Okay, but we have to go back a bit with First Person Shooter because we now know that's public information. I'm not spilling tea quote unquote. He was supposed to be on that. Yeah, that's why he says it, not like us, are you my friend? Are we locked in? That was a DM between or a text between the two of them when Drake was trying to get Kendrick on what became First Person Shooter. So there was a weird back and forth with them not sending each other versus and some weird tension of it not happening. So it existed, and then Drake did what I would have done too. All Right, cool, you don't want to be a part of it. Me and Cole are going to continue with this record. 00:54:16 Speaker 2: Yeah, but even if I do that, nobody's dissing you on the record. 00:54:19 Speaker 1: I could have said about you know, rappers are sensitive and can take any little bar that we may not even understand. 00:54:24 Speaker 2: That's a whole it. 00:54:25 Speaker 1: I get offensive. 00:54:26 Speaker 2: I get that, but we we're dealing with the song that we got and no matter what it was started as if it was supposed to supplen to be on it. If you're not on it, and then we still move forward and put it out as long as we not kicking your backing on the record. What are you mad about? Like you didn't send the verse you know it was gonna hold this record forever. No, like the moment is gone. Put the record out, But we're not shitting on you on the record. I don't have a rapper. Now, maybe you heard a bar that I don't have a rapper's brain that way. No, listen, that's why I said maybe. I'm just i know a lot of rappers that talk about that brain. And I'm like, wait, you found that offensive because a lot of things out here. I'm like, but why you took it that way? Like I don't think that that was crazy, But that's what I'm saying. I just want to know rappers take an ad lit and be like, yo, that's the one war. I'm like, that's the one question I would ask Kendrick why I use that record in that moment to basically say this type. 00:55:16 Speaker 1: I mean, it worked. 00:55:17 Speaker 2: I feel like it did, but I feel like a regular Kendrick song with that version it would have worked. 00:55:22 Speaker 6: I feel like sometimes we try to like put strategy in things. 00:55:25 Speaker 9: There wasn't. 00:55:26 Speaker 6: I think Kendrick had a lot of strategy in this battle, but sometimes I think things are pretty simple. He was in he like was conversing with a nigga that don't like Drake, and it was just like, oh, like, I don't think he thought about it too much, like, yeah, I'm gonna use this moment. I think he probably just heard the beat. They asked Kendrick for a feature. He heard the beat and he just started going off on it, and the disc is just started flowing. 00:55:45 Speaker 1: Out on and wise how that works. 00:55:49 Speaker 3: That's not how that works. 00:55:49 Speaker 1: My two piers have the biggest rap record. 00:55:51 Speaker 6: That's very yeah right now, it was out of his mind. 00:55:54 Speaker 2: Cool yeah, yeah, but like that ain't even the song for that type of shit. It worked though, Yeah, of course it worked. But my thing is it would have worked if it was just a Kendrick Lamar record. 00:56:05 Speaker 9: Yes, I get whata ma saying, Yeah. 00:56:07 Speaker 2: Y'all, I'm young missing that part. Kendrick could have said exactly what he said on that record on his own record, and it would it would have worked. I'm just saying, why did he use that moment, that album, that song to basically start this entire or set this thing to another level? Like that's the only question I haven't knowed this is like that because that looking back, it's like, why did you do that there? 00:56:30 Speaker 1: Well, if this was his plan all along, this was a masterclass in planning in the art of war. 00:56:35 Speaker 9: I don't think it was his plan all along. 00:56:37 Speaker 1: I don't fully think that either, But I think let's let's deal with what we do know and what happened, and now the dust is settled and the videos out. I think this is probably the end. They'll be shots back and forth, don't get me wrong, but this it's over. 00:56:49 Speaker 7: Now. 00:56:51 Speaker 1: What a great moment for hip hop? Like, can we all just stop debating? Like this was awesome? Was this was the greatest shit ever? This was to Kendrick and Drake. 00:57:03 Speaker 2: Yeah, in their camps, But this was a moment that obviously was gonna be going to talk about forever, probably forever. We'll keep going back to this to this moment. But I just think that it's a lot of things that we're gonna learn about, basically the origin. 00:57:19 Speaker 1: All of this shit. 00:57:20 Speaker 2: I'm excited for, like what happens from here as far as music from these respective artists. 00:57:25 Speaker 1: You know, like twenty years later, Vlad started interviewing anyone that like remotely touched Tupac, Like even if they were just happened to pass Tupac in the hallway, they get like a full Vlad interview. I'm excited fifteen years from now, whoever the Vlad is to interview literally anyone that was around to put together the pieces of this whole thing. That's gonna be fun for me to watch. I think we'll learn more at that point. 00:57:49 Speaker 3: I don't I don't think it's again. 00:57:50 Speaker 2: I do think we'll still get some bars and you know, some some metaphors and things like that from each artist. I don't think that this is like we'll never hear these artists send shots at each other again. 00:58:03 Speaker 3: I don't think that's over. 00:58:04 Speaker 1: I think, uh, my prediction, there's never been a heart on an official Kendrick album. I think the intro to this album will be hard Part six or the outro. 00:58:17 Speaker 3: Just my guests, And you still don't think not like us it's gonna be. 00:58:19 Speaker 1: I don't think not like us we'll be on that. 00:58:21 Speaker 7: Yeah, I still don't. 00:58:22 Speaker 3: Y'all are fucking crazy. Y'all double it down on that. 00:58:26 Speaker 7: Yeah, y'all are sick. 00:58:27 Speaker 3: If y'all think this song is not gonna be an album. 00:58:29 Speaker 1: How they do streams with album sales. If this was twenty sixteen, yes, not like us, would one percent be on that album, But they don't count the single streams the same way anymore. 00:58:38 Speaker 2: I don't care what you're talking about. This song is gonna be on that album. It's gonna be in the track lit, not down with the asterisk next to it like bone it. 00:58:46 Speaker 1: No, this is going to be okay. When you hear in the album sequence, maybe you'll like it more. It'll be one of those for you, like oh once I heard it in the album. 00:58:54 Speaker 2: I always said, if you take that pedophile weird shit out of this song cool, I'm fucking with it. That's the only reason why I can't with that song. We're not making it cool to sing and dance about pedophilia. The fuck is that I'm never doing that. I'm never jumping on that. Like I'm not doing get the fuck out of here with that ship. But that aside, good song. Yeah, I'm not mad at at all, but I can't. 00:59:15 Speaker 3: Noah, I'm not. 00:59:16 Speaker 2: I'm not singing and dancing the pedophilia not doing that. 00:59:19 Speaker 9: I respect you for that. 00:59:20 Speaker 2: Yeah, like not out in somebody as an alleged pedophile. I'm supposed to walk down the street and start dancing. 00:59:25 Speaker 6: If somebody dissed me, will you not dance to it too? 00:59:27 Speaker 2: If somebody dish you, I dance or Derek if they if they, but I'm saying if they dished it, like your song was Derek this, if they saying your bars is whack and just this is your bars, I'm like, Okay, you know you can't go loyal. But if somebody be like, yo, baby des A klept though, she'd be stealing all my ship and you ain't no clept. 00:59:42 Speaker 3: Though I'm not jacking it, I'm like, she ain't baby. 00:59:44 Speaker 1: That's where you draw the line with babyd is clept though. 00:59:46 Speaker 2: Yeah, don't she don't steal it? I don't still, yeah, exactly. 00:59:51 Speaker 1: The whole first half of this episode was all of us talking about stealing. 00:59:55 Speaker 2: You kids as children. Yes, we've all done it. We've all done it. No talk about how he steals is right now with the yeah I forgot you put your daughter. 01:00:03 Speaker 1: You know, expensive avocados already, Now, I'll get it. 01:00:06 Speaker 7: I understand. 01:00:07 Speaker 6: And they go bad and like it's like they're never riped. The they're never ripe and the avocado. 01:00:13 Speaker 1: Avocado and tea are very similar in that way. Like tea is tough to it's either scorching hot and then I'll wait and then it's cold as ship. Yeah, like you have to catch it at the right time. 01:00:22 Speaker 8: They've genetically modified everything that we consume and they still can't figure out the avocado aging process. 01:00:30 Speaker 2: I would paper bag, yeah, dark dark like back of the cabinet type of thing. 01:00:36 Speaker 1: Put it next to a banana. They always have something like that, right. 01:00:40 Speaker 2: Why didn't I ever think about putting the garlic inside the fridge by the fruit? 01:00:43 Speaker 1: Watch one Instagram real and learn about the entire vegetation system. 01:00:47 Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, is your watermelon going bad? Fast? Cut up some garlic and sticking inside of the watermelon. Okay, now have garlic watermelon. 01:00:53 Speaker 6: I don't want that I was on TikTok like that for the fruit flies. 01:00:56 Speaker 9: The fruit flies, Oh my god. 01:00:58 Speaker 1: Oh, since you guys told me that draino will kill my pipes, like, I lost sleep that next day when you guys told me that. Because I've been using draino my entire life, I found baking soda, vinegar, lemon juice, boiling water is the best way to clean. 01:01:14 Speaker 9: Your pipes and get fruit flies as well. 01:01:16 Speaker 1: I mean I'll have those. 01:01:18 Speaker 9: Oh my bad niggas don't eat fruit? 01:01:21 Speaker 1: Yea bacon, bacon, brots and whiskey. That's all that's in my house in America. 01:01:28 Speaker 2: Greape, you got autism stuff fruit? 01:01:34 Speaker 1: Who just says grapes, Johnny Drama. 01:01:37 Speaker 8: I meant to make a joke about wine, and then instead of saying wine, I was gonna say wine is grapes and grapes. 01:01:43 Speaker 7: Oh yeah, but I just said. 01:01:45 Speaker 1: Grapes and tequila is like a Gothic Yeah, same ship, right, Vegan, it's vegan. Since it's been another week, I'm doubling down with Lucky Day having an album the year so far, doubling down. 01:02:01 Speaker 2: So I made sure I locked in with the album this weekend. You know, I like to play music and just not pay attention to it, just have it playing in the background, kind of like you had a nice hotel lounge, not really paying on mine, but then you look over at the piano. 01:02:12 Speaker 1: Player, Yeah, where's my shizama? 01:02:16 Speaker 3: So so I let the Lucky Day album play. That album is phenomenal. 01:02:22 Speaker 1: It's an algorithm right now. To me, Oh man, I know them. Uh uh. 01:02:29 Speaker 2: The song algorithm Lemonade is crazy, like he got so many joints on there. I think the the difference between because I still Brice until this album is incredible, but the vibe of these two albums are totally different completely. 01:02:43 Speaker 1: That's why when we were told about the last episode, I was like, I can't compare them. You're not the same. 01:02:47 Speaker 2: I told now that I like really listened to it, and I totally get what you was saying. 01:02:51 Speaker 3: I understand. But this Lucky Day. 01:02:53 Speaker 2: Album is is definitely definitely one of his best albums. Lucky they don't have a bad album, and that's no, he's three for three. He don't have a bad album. But this this uh, this algorithm album is uh is phenomenal. He did a great job on the shout out, The Lucky Day shout out to his team phenomenal project. Yeah, I think Lucky Day is. You know, we talk about the R and B guys, the new R and B guys. Uh, obviously Brent Bryson, but Lucky Day is he's right there in that conversation. 01:03:26 Speaker 1: I don't know, this one kind of separated, not separated him from the pact because Bryson obviously are who they are, but it's just kind of put him to another The Lucky. 01:03:37 Speaker 2: Is more vocally, Uh, he's vocally stronger than Bryson and Brent. But I'm just talk about as far as their album making and their songmaking. 01:03:46 Speaker 1: I never got Frank from Lucky like that until I started hearing everyone say that the past two weeks. 01:03:51 Speaker 2: Frank Ocean. 01:03:52 Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I started to hear it, like you know, when people just get in your head. Yeah, of course I can see the vocal tones are similar, but I never thought like, oh, this feels like a Frank. Once people said it, I was like, Okay, I guess I see what people are saying. 01:04:07 Speaker 2: But even though lyrics though like Frank Ocean. 01:04:09 Speaker 1: Esque like which is a compliment, you know, like it's greatest written album I've ever heard. 01:04:14 Speaker 2: But to me Lucky Day is his songs and the lyrics and the melodies and things like that. Like he's Lucky is very intentional and knows exactly, very aware. He knows the sound that he wants to make. He doesn't never really step too far out of his box, but he somehow what he has and what he does, he finds a unique way of kind of making slight adjustments to it where it's not weird. You know, sometimes your favorite artists make an album you like, this, ain't the sound that I love from them. Yeah, Lucky is able to make keep that sound, but just give it to us differently. It's like he finds different ways to you know, whether it's the production. I laughed because I listened to one of the songs and I was like, Rory's probably sitting at home saying, oh, he's a child's drum not. 01:05:01 Speaker 1: First of all, DMO and Child worked very closely together on everything, so. 01:05:06 Speaker 2: No, but I heard it. Listen. I heard the drums. I just let you know, I heard the drums. 01:05:11 Speaker 1: Why didn't you call me an apologiz? Because but ya on three ways? 01:05:14 Speaker 3: Because I was just I was just listening with. 01:05:16 Speaker 1: Them and Child are like, but you can hear it though, Yeah, definitely, Child's probably credited on the song that. 01:05:24 Speaker 3: You're thinking of. 01:05:25 Speaker 2: You know what the album is, the album's fire though Lucky Day. He definitely did his thing with this album. And again I looking at his discography, I don't see no I don't see no gaps. 01:05:35 Speaker 3: I don't see no missus at all. 01:05:38 Speaker 1: I found out officially, I think I'm a good father officially as of this weekend. Okay, I did need some rest, but you guys know the long week I had before, which we didn't talk about the podcast, but you guys know, yes, so you know, Kia, that comes along with a tough week for Kid as well with Amara, I had passes to the Childish Gambino pop up show at the Little Tree, Little Island, Little Island, whatever the fuck the thing that the billionaires gave us after they took all our parks that place which is still is that just still crazy to me? Is the billionaire took our parks and we're like here, we're gonna put some floating ship in the Hudson. It's the woman that no one can get into, the woman that. 01:06:18 Speaker 8: Owns the brand DVFS, Donna Van Versus, whatever the fucker name is. 01:06:22 Speaker 7: It's her, her and her husband. 01:06:24 Speaker 1: Donna Van Rothschild. It was a project Donna van Vanderbilt, Diane. 01:06:29 Speaker 7: Something like you know, yeah, the Fashion Shake. 01:06:30 Speaker 1: Someone that owns Bank of America. 01:06:32 Speaker 2: Mm hmm. 01:06:33 Speaker 1: So Chiles Gambino did like a live listening event for his new album, performed all the songs mm hmm. And I knew I was a good father when I had passes and I was like, you know what, Nah, I'm. 01:06:46 Speaker 3: Gonna stay home. 01:06:47 Speaker 1: I'm gonna stay home. 01:06:47 Speaker 2: That's that's the barameter for like, if I'm with Amara, nothing every day, nobody could disrupt you. 01:06:53 Speaker 1: But at that point, I was like, look at me. Yeah, it was right down the block too. I was like I could could run there for like two hours, run right back, stay right here, solid father. But then I saw all like the video recaps and all the clips, and he looked at them a and I was like, yo, fuck you. You would have been fine. We did nothing while you were here. We looked at flash cards and learned how to say apple. You could have learned how to say apple yesterday or. 01:07:19 Speaker 8: This looked like a dope event though, Well that you're a shitty friend. 01:07:23 Speaker 7: I would have gone to this. You could have given music. 01:07:25 Speaker 1: That's not how those type of passes work. 01:07:27 Speaker 2: But like text Nah, but like text groups you Julian, Yeah, text groups. 01:07:32 Speaker 1: It wasn't one of those can I give my pass to someone else type of thing. It's like, hey, I'm going to meet you at the front and bring you in. 01:07:40 Speaker 8: Yeah, you said I could have gone white Face. 01:07:45 Speaker 1: July nineteenth, the album's coming out, he previewed records with Amorra, Georgia Smith, Flow, Millie, Steve Lacy, his son Legend Glover put out a snippet for that. It just sounds great. I'm always excited for Child's Gambino music. I know he gave us the album that was like fifteen years old last month, but I'm excited for the new music. 01:08:04 Speaker 2: We loved. We loved Donald Glove. We just didn't want him wearing curtains. Don hit us saw this is only only gripe with him. 01:08:11 Speaker 1: I mean, I'm gonna bring this up if this album ends up being a classic at like a Mar's thirteenth birthday, I'm gonna bring it up, sir, that like I chose you instead of seeing. 01:08:20 Speaker 2: History, seeing history that wasn't history. 01:08:26 Speaker 1: At the tiny Island. It was a cool night. Have you been on Tiny Island. 01:08:31 Speaker 7: If you guys ever been over there, It is gorgeous. 01:08:34 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I've been over there, but I've never been like inside for it show or anything like that. 01:08:37 Speaker 1: I saw some piano player, like Mozart shit there by accident once. 01:08:41 Speaker 7: Some Mozart shit there, the. 01:08:43 Speaker 1: Best way I could describe it. Yeah, but I mean I do want to boycott this place. Why because they like took money that should have went to parks and gave us this bullshit instead. There's a lot of history with this Tiny Island shit. 01:08:57 Speaker 7: Well, I mean a lot of shit. 01:08:58 Speaker 3: In Manhattan. 01:09:00 Speaker 8: They donated two hundred and sixty million, that couple that I met. 01:09:03 Speaker 1: Yeah, that was after they got so much shit because they built this It was a bunch of tax dollars. Like they also got money from the city that should have went to parks. 01:09:14 Speaker 3: Yeah, but that depends all the time. Yeah, welcome to New York City. 01:09:18 Speaker 1: I mean, at least the Yankees put a whole park. 01:09:21 Speaker 8: At least they win, right, Yankees had one ship since that game. Yeah, they lost like fourteen of their last seventeen. 01:09:29 Speaker 6: I hate an unlucky white man who's the. 01:09:32 Speaker 2: That's wow. 01:09:33 Speaker 3: I hate an unlucky white man. 01:09:35 Speaker 1: We were all like the sentence, they're lucky to be white. 01:09:37 Speaker 3: What do you mean unlucky? Come white man, be unlucky? 01:09:40 Speaker 1: It's great over here. Yeah. Do we have voicemails? 01:09:44 Speaker 8: Yeah, yes, you've got mail. I feel like I haven't said this in a while. Crazy. 01:10:16 Speaker 7: Do you think like you think Hove. 01:10:21 Speaker 8: One of these favorite like, one of these streamers, would do it just to get access to Jay. 01:10:26 Speaker 1: Like I said, when we like, I really think if somebody did take that fifty thousand dollars tier, we would be able to get Hope to do that for fifty k I think he would laugh if we were like, yo, we had a fifty thousand dollars Patreonsier and someone actually just gave us. Do you think he to do lunch with you? You think you think Hove would do it as a joke for us? I really do think that. Would he have a fee to do that for you? 01:10:50 Speaker 7: You know what I mean? 01:10:50 Speaker 1: No, Hove doesn't have fees. 01:10:52 Speaker 6: We can't afford his fees. No one can. 01:10:54 Speaker 2: That's why he was don't exist a full million dollar watch to a white body pease. 01:11:00 Speaker 8: Check, Oh what's your rate these days? I'm not saying I mean, I know I'm not. He wouldn't do this to you. If I'm saying it would another person that could see, not Hope particularly, But if there was a tear, say another artist, and they would be like, Okay, it's fifty thousand dollars, I want half of. 01:11:16 Speaker 1: Themy would want fifty thousand. 01:11:17 Speaker 7: They would want them, They would want them, feed. 01:11:18 Speaker 3: The whole, Yeah, they would want the whole. 01:11:20 Speaker 7: Yeah. 01:11:20 Speaker 1: I think Hope would do it as a joke. I really do think that. 01:11:23 Speaker 2: Didn't he do one of them with the he spoke to that the way he said take the money. Yeah, take the money, like, don't take the lunch. 01:11:30 Speaker 3: Take the money. 01:11:31 Speaker 2: Well that advice anyone really needed, no deaf, not me. I tried to tell you. I was like, take the money, man, trust me. But the lunch is next lunch. 01:11:40 Speaker 3: Is not that good. 01:11:42 Speaker 9: Okay, let's wait, do we buy the lunch? 01:11:46 Speaker 6: Like if if I take dinner with jay Z, Like, do I have to pay for the dinner because he got expensive palate? 01:11:52 Speaker 1: I feel like we'd end up at a restaurant where he already has like a tab, Like he just walks in and walks out, and they build him at the end of the month. 01:11:58 Speaker 2: Yeah, I would end of the fiscal year. 01:12:02 Speaker 1: Definitely the fiscal year. 01:12:03 Speaker 2: You got to talk fiscal year. We dealing with somebody with money like that, and. 01:12:06 Speaker 1: He'll pay him in three to five business days. 01:12:10 Speaker 2: Yo, get to the fucking voice. 01:12:11 Speaker 8: You guys were riffing about jay Z and dinner, and I fucking heard you were, Yoh. 01:12:16 Speaker 7: What's up everyone? What's up? Pod? Big fan here. 01:12:19 Speaker 11: I've been with y'all since about like twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen or on Scorpion dropped, and I've been rolling with y'all ever since. 01:12:26 Speaker 7: You know Timeline get it question, what's the. 01:12:29 Speaker 11: Disconnect I here between the word like for the word insecurity. I believe that word is being misused so bad in today's society, from what I've noticed, from what I've seen, the people I've talked, to the experiences I've experienced. You know, I'm in a happy relationship. I've been with my girl for about like forty years now, so we're doing pretty good. Thank god, everything's pretty good to him now. You know, on the rocks, I see women kind of just doing what at really whatever they want and just like saying the guy can be insecure or like the girlfriend's girlfriends, like her friends are telling him he's Insecured's like she can wear anything she wants. She can wear a skirt that's showing her at the bottom of her budgets. She could go out adipeman work all night on top of a table. You better not be insecure. She'll go sleep over her male best friend's house for three days straight. 01:13:25 Speaker 1: You better not be in three days straight. 01:13:27 Speaker 11: It's crazy on Instagram, you better not be insecure. 01:13:30 Speaker 1: Instagram doesn't allow nudes. 01:13:34 Speaker 2: That's a wild loophole, yo, show me, show me the god that's letting his girls sleep at her best friend's house, her male best friend's house. 01:13:41 Speaker 3: For three days. 01:13:42 Speaker 1: We've had this convo. But three days I'm drawing the line. One day we had that debate on days. Are you homeboy? 01:13:53 Speaker 6: Is she homeless? 01:13:56 Speaker 1: That's my girl? If she can't be homeless, I have a home. 01:14:00 Speaker 9: Should be homeless, is the fact. 01:14:04 Speaker 1: Show one niggah girl for this. Niggas should be homeless. 01:14:08 Speaker 2: Not his girl said, your man got a crib, but you homeless. 01:14:13 Speaker 9: He got a roommate. 01:14:15 Speaker 2: Wow, you're still not homeless. He's still going ship. 01:14:59 Speaker 11: Hold on of anything she likes. And if you're insecure, you're officially that weak man, that weak insecure man. What do you guys think about that? Like, how far does that go? How far does that word go? 01:15:15 Speaker 7: So the overuse of determined security with Madison, I'm dealing. 01:15:19 Speaker 3: With a manipulative girlfriend. 01:15:20 Speaker 12: Bro. 01:15:20 Speaker 3: If your girl's seeing your insecure and she's doing all. 01:15:22 Speaker 2: Of that, that's her way of trying to manipulate you into thinking that you are not man enough for secure enough to deal with a woman like herself because she's out moving like she's not in a relationship. 01:15:33 Speaker 1: I do agree with him, and you guys have called me pussy before because I am more on the side of a secure man that is cool with some things that you masculine alpha males are not cool with. He is correct, though, women have taken this insecure word and ran with it like you would not believe, like, oh, only women, Yeah, yeah, I understand, just women facts like nah, you ask naked indictments standing on a table shaking as I'm not insecure if we're in a relationship and I'd be like, hey, can you not do that? 01:16:03 Speaker 6: Can you get down? 01:16:05 Speaker 7: Yeah? 01:16:05 Speaker 1: Can you like, do you mind just like getting off the table. Like we're in a relationship. 01:16:09 Speaker 8: There's a blur between I think, being insecure and just things that you're just not attracted to. You're not insecure about it, just don't find that attractive. Behavior attractive. It's not a matter of you doing it because I'm a pussy. 01:16:20 Speaker 1: It's just I've changed behavior of mine because we're in a relationship. Like, that's what you do. It's not an insecurity you just respect your partner. Yeah, Like listen, if you want to be have your ass out on Instagram, that is what it is at this point. That's life. But we have to draw the line somewhere. 01:16:38 Speaker 2: I think it's funny man, he said, Yo, your girl spending night at her best friend's house with three days. 01:16:43 Speaker 7: I hope he made that scenario up and that's not like. 01:16:46 Speaker 2: That's his scenario. Three days is crazy, Havy, two hours one day is crazy. 01:16:51 Speaker 6: I don't want to I don't want to see my nigga for three days. I mean there's priorities, like people have to work and like they would be on tour and everything. But I enjoy spending time with my girl. 01:17:42 Speaker 2: Like no, no, I'll get yes that part. 01:17:44 Speaker 1: I'm one of those feel that like likes their girlfriend. 01:17:46 Speaker 2: Yeah no, But I'm just saying like you're saying, like, if you don't see a girl for three days, that's crazy to you. 01:17:51 Speaker 1: Yeah, because we live in the same city. 01:17:54 Speaker 7: Yeah, it's a big city. 01:17:55 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not. 01:17:58 Speaker 8: Traffic here is crazy too, Yeah, three days, three days to get somewhere. 01:18:02 Speaker 6: Now, if I'm dating Nigga and queens, I ain't gonna see him for three days. 01:18:05 Speaker 1: You guys both work in the city. 01:18:08 Speaker 2: I ain't gonna lie not seeing your crazy days and y'all both work in the city as wild. 01:18:12 Speaker 3: Somebody cheating facts. 01:18:14 Speaker 9: We can link up for like happy hour, but like. 01:18:16 Speaker 2: That somebody, but I gotta be out by eight somebody, somebody, somebody fucking for sure, somebody hitting that one of y'all getting fucked. 01:18:26 Speaker 9: Not always some people are just anti social. 01:18:29 Speaker 1: Yeah, anti social, that's your girlfriend. Like what is the jewels? 01:21:12 Speaker 1: They want to hit the vaipe. 01:21:12 Speaker 3: They want to hit the jewels. They don't fucking smoke wog. They have jewels in their pocket. 01:21:16 Speaker 7: What are the new ones called? 01:21:17 Speaker 6: They have a bunch of they want like a cute blueberry vape. You can charge them now, you can charge the cigarettes. 01:21:24 Speaker 2: Niggas is just dancing and getting cancer at the same time. 01:21:28 Speaker 3: A vague ship. We're gonna find a way to kill ourselves. 01:21:32 Speaker 6: Man, I'm telling you I cut down out hookah because I've found. 01:21:35 Speaker 2: Out to stop. You should just stop. 01:21:38 Speaker 9: Well, I don't if I will. 01:21:40 Speaker 6: The way that my brain works, if I tell myself I can't have something, it makes me crave it more so instead. 01:21:45 Speaker 2: Of your boyfriend, look at girl mathot that mindset? How does your man deal with that mindset? 01:21:49 Speaker 6: I don't have a man. 01:21:50 Speaker 2: Well, when you had a man, how do he deal with that mindset? Because that does that apply? I don't understand anything. Does that applot to anything? Or just women? 01:21:57 Speaker 1: Never understand the question? 01:21:58 Speaker 2: Yeah, does that apply to just who? 01:21:59 Speaker 10: Can you? 01:22:00 Speaker 6: No, it applies to like food, alcohol, hookah, like those things that are bad. 01:22:04 Speaker 3: For you ex boyfriend, Like is that part of it too? 01:22:08 Speaker 2: Like I love. 01:22:09 Speaker 6: Food, hookah and wine way more than dick. Men don't have to worry about me chea and there. No, I don't like men like that. If I like you, I like you. I don't like a bunch of other women. I don't like men like that. That's not the point. The point is some people's minds. If you tell them they can't have something, they'll want it more. 01:22:23 Speaker 1: So. 01:22:23 Speaker 6: I won't say, like, even when I'm dieting, I won't say I can't have this. I'll say, okay, I'm just not having that as often eventually, like I won't eat it at all. Right, but I don't want to tell myself I can. 01:22:33 Speaker 2: If somebody told me, yo, you could keep smoking that you gotta get lung cancer, my body is not gonna be like, oh, but I want it like it's over for that. 01:22:40 Speaker 1: Also, back to the insecurity conversation, Hey babe, don't have random men put hookah hoses between your tits and smoke it. And she goes, oh, I want that, though if I need it, we should break up them. 01:22:54 Speaker 3: You go be single at that point, Right, can we. 01:22:57 Speaker 6: Find out where we could put the mouth on, the boobs and the hookah at the same time. That's probably the easiest. 01:28:42 Speaker 2: We'll find out what she likes. If she likes you know, certain type of food and you want to find a restaurant that caters to that specific type of food. On beyond whether it's live music, a good date is also finding out what type of music a girl likes and going to a show jaz together and then get somebod to eat something like that. Something chill, something, nothing, nothing too heavy. We could just have a good time with some music, even depending on what city. And you can do a lot of shit like go to a park, just kick it like. It's a lot of little things you can do after dark, not after dark, No, not after dark. But it depends on the type of person you're dating. Man, I like to do it. If I'm on a date, I like to do stuff where we could first hear each other. I don't want to be yelling and shit too much. 01:29:26 Speaker 7: That's important. 01:29:26 Speaker 1: Yeah, So if you got to people do that on first dates, like go to places where they. 01:29:30 Speaker 2: Can't well, people go to the movies on the first date, which is kind of like, I don't know. 01:29:34 Speaker 1: I was going to suggest Aphabe's two for twenty then Bad Boys for. 01:29:37 Speaker 3: I don't know. 01:29:38 Speaker 2: I don't know about movies on the first date. He just w me just sitting there. 01:29:42 Speaker 8: That's a s I feel like the movies on the First aids a shy man's game because you just avoid all the small talk. You're like, we spent three hours together, but you didn't say a word to each other. 01:29:50 Speaker 2: Well, shy man's game, and being shy is crazy in twenty twenty four, niggas are shy. 01:29:55 Speaker 7: But mad people are shy. 01:29:57 Speaker 1: Maybe on the text is going crazy? Then meeting? 01:29:59 Speaker 2: Howay you think I had. 01:30:00 Speaker 3: Twenty twenty as an adult as an adult? 01:30:02 Speaker 7: Not? 01:30:03 Speaker 1: People are so sick now they'll show each other's genitals before they actually meet via text and then actually link up and have nothing to say to each other, which is crazy to me, Like we're we're we're, I've done that. 01:30:12 Speaker 3: Weird species. You sent nudes and didn't met up with. 01:30:15 Speaker 7: Now send dudes. I received nudes and then. 01:30:17 Speaker 1: Oh, my bad player, right her? 01:30:20 Speaker 3: I didn't say nothing to her. 01:30:22 Speaker 7: You don't send the hammer like, say nothing to it? And she said, yeah, like that's bad, but like you should really see what people say to me. And she's like not in the scene at all, like not, it's just a pretty girl, that's it. 01:32:40 Speaker 2: That's all it takes. 01:32:40 Speaker 7: That's all it takes. 01:32:41 Speaker 8: And her dms are just going and coming here fucking insane. 01:32:45 Speaker 7: She was just like just a New York City working woman. 01:32:47 Speaker 3: It's crazy out here. So yeah, but to this gentleman. 01:32:50 Speaker 2: I don't know subjective, find out the type of things your girl likes, and then try to cater around that. I think it's pretty simple. Once you talk to somebody and get to know their likes and the things. 01:32:59 Speaker 1: DAN also show her who you are. If you're in the minilf take her to mini. 01:33:05 Speaker 3: Golf, take it a mini golf. 01:33:07 Speaker 1: You've ever done the mini golf date? Of course, absolutely, something I've done. 01:33:11 Speaker 8: The task, which I don't recommend is, uh, well, it's a double and andre blowing your load on a really nice first, like over the top first date. So then when you go back for like the second date or third date, you don't what's the follow up? I took her to like the grail off rip, So now what I can't out? 01:33:31 Speaker 7: Do you know what I mean? Don't lead with like the home run. 01:33:36 Speaker 3: Date. 01:33:36 Speaker 1: I thought you mentioned you came too quick after a good date. 01:33:38 Speaker 3: No, you mean like, don't show her like don't. 01:33:41 Speaker 7: Yeah, don't don't put the ace on the table. 01:33:42 Speaker 1: No, no, no, that comes with experience though, yeah, like men will learn that as they get older. That you sent her flowers for the first three weeks every other day. You can't maintain that something that's gonna to do because I'm in the scene. 01:33:55 Speaker 7: Change the scenery. 01:33:56 Speaker 1: I'm in the scene. 01:33:57 Speaker 7: Changing the scenery is very important because it feels. 01:34:01 Speaker 1: Like you taking to Michael Rubens. 01:34:04 Speaker 7: Get my manipulation back real all right? 01:34:06 Speaker 1: So you're wearing purple, so I already know. And the collars, the collars, you just look like you manipulate women. 01:34:12 Speaker 9: Like it's a gay purple. 01:34:15 Speaker 7: It's not gay, it's like lilac. It's very soft, all right. That's never mind. 01:34:19 Speaker 1: You look you look like you tell women you're single because you haven't found someone to match. Uh, you're freak. 01:34:28 Speaker 7: That's crazy. 01:34:30 Speaker 1: Sorry, it was right there, like you look like you say, I haven't found my equal yet. 01:34:36 Speaker 7: Are we done? 01:34:37 Speaker 9: It's spiritual equal? 01:34:41 Speaker 2: Yeah, I could keep going, but I'm not. No, no, because with Julie. But Rory like that, my mind just. 01:34:48 Speaker 1: Start throwing show. 01:34:54 Speaker 10: That's my God, that's my God said gay. 01:34:59 Speaker 2: No, I just give you ship. That's what I'm supposed to do with you, my God, I gotta do that, yo. But Rory started, and I'm just looking at the fit, like, yo, a nigga with slacks in the football jersey definitely hits women. 01:35:12 Speaker 1: And the collar that I'm just saying my man Chester United loses. He throws a gas, he go home and start wild. Oh man, he's broken a toaster oven before. 01:35:30 Speaker 2: Julian. 01:35:30 Speaker 7: Ohit girl, No, no, I don't hit guys. 01:35:33 Speaker 9: The collar jersey up. 01:35:35 Speaker 7: It's a small collar. It doesn't really lay yo, look at that. Even when I see it just popped up. I don't know what to do. 01:35:43 Speaker 8: The point is, do you take a girl to multiple places throughout the night. That's the point I'm trying to make New York City. You start, yes, you start with drinks like a happy hour, drinks six seven, whatever. 01:35:53 Speaker 3: If you live in a small city, it's not we can't do that, but. 01:35:55 Speaker 7: So much Well, I'm recommending to city people. Walk. You walk to the ex destination. 01:36:00 Speaker 8: On that walk, you know, you're already got a little buzz in you kind of and you kind of like wing it like there's no real plan, like, oh, we should get food here. 01:36:07 Speaker 7: You planned the whole fucking thing, like. 01:36:09 Speaker 1: Yeah, Dahmer's memoir, got a little buzz in. 01:36:15 Speaker 2: You walk her down the street for your back, walking down the street next to the white van. 01:36:22 Speaker 1: Oh that guy needs to change his times over there. Yeah, I know, The Son of Sam. 01:36:25 Speaker 3: Yeah, I've seen that movie, bro, I know what you're going. 01:36:28 Speaker 7: Yeah, anyway, just that's my thing. 01:36:30 Speaker 8: I like like the element of spontaneity throughout a date. 01:36:33 Speaker 7: I think that's fine. 01:36:34 Speaker 2: New York City is expensive to live in. New York City is a great date city, though, it's the best. So much things you can do in New York. 01:36:41 Speaker 1: There's not a date city. 01:36:42 Speaker 2: Yeah, you can find yourself pain a lot, but New York is a really, really great date city though. 01:36:47 Speaker 6: That's why when we were having that two hundred, four hundred dollars date conversation and Yard looking at me like I'm insane. I'm like, in New York City, it's so easy to do that, especially if you're moving from spot to spot, Like it's easy to spend two hundred dollars for two people on a date, I mean. 01:37:01 Speaker 1: The picnic date, and spend twenty dollars just getting turkey sandwiches in a blanket. 01:37:05 Speaker 8: And for those that don't live in here, because I know we talked those local specific if you go, like my strategy with the cocktail lounge before dinner situation, say you do two rounds there at minimum twenty dollars cocktails. So you're looking at with tip whatever, that's one hundred off rip just for like the beginning of the date, just the buzz, and then you know, obviously next spot more drinks. 01:37:26 Speaker 3: And then she worked up appetite, so she got to get the Portahouse. 01:37:29 Speaker 7: That's first date Porterhouse. 01:37:31 Speaker 1: It's crazy. Oh yeah, I don't order. She got to get the Porterhouse. You know that in the toilet paper. Now the double knit one through the roof. 01:37:42 Speaker 7: She's like, kevlar can't penetrate that. 01:37:45 Speaker 6: I never understood the like as the porthole. 01:37:47 Speaker 1: Is gonna have to ship and you need the sharman. 01:37:49 Speaker 6: Ask a girl to go, like just for drinks for the first date, Like just take me to dinner. I'm never going anywhere and drinking without food a date by myself. I'm never going somewhere and drinking without food. 01:37:59 Speaker 1: Yes, I was sitting with kid, Beatrice and Britt and I was like, yea, y'all want to drink, got up, got them their drinks myself one to one hundred and seventeen dollars. I was like, why did I offer you? Bitches need to get your own. 01:38:13 Speaker 2: Drinks, especially when you're paying twelve hundred dollars to hug Chris Brown. Bitches is always broke till the come time to hug Chris Brown. Y'all ain't never noticed that. 01:38:22 Speaker 1: This is the one time that I believe that bullshit meme of the money's already printed. You just have to go and get it. If people are paying twel hundred dollars to hug Chris Brown, the money's. 01:38:30 Speaker 2: Out there, Yo's what I'm trying to tell you. 01:38:32 Speaker 1: There's not a lack of money out there. 01:38:34 Speaker 3: Woman, be like, y'all, I need it. I don't need a man. 01:38:35 Speaker 2: I could do bad by my You just paid twel hundred dollars to hug Chris Brown, and now you're on my line talking about you need some because you can't pay your car note. 01:38:42 Speaker 6: Yeah, I come pay my car note because I paid twel hundred dollars to hug Chris Brown. Why are you acting like that's hard masks. 01:38:47 Speaker 2: You paid twelve hundred dollars to hug Chris Brown. You knew that car note was due every first. 01:38:51 Speaker 3: In the month. 01:38:52 Speaker 6: I thought Chris Brown was gonna give me this twelve hundred. It was an investment. It didn't offer a return. So now I need you out you thought Chris Brown was going to give you twelve hundred. 01:39:01 Speaker 1: They probably thought in their head that they were going to have like some surreal of moments, so many retweets and like no, I think I think a lot of those women think like, yeah, versus gonna see them and he's. 01:39:10 Speaker 6: Gonna grab their and different from any ass he ever grabbed in. 01:39:15 Speaker 9: Yeah, it was an investment. 01:39:16 Speaker 1: There's gonna be some chemistry there because they built it up in their head. I really think that's what those women think. 01:39:21 Speaker 6: I had a homegirl who cried because Chris Brown didn't pick her out the crowd at the concert. She came home and called me on the phone and cried because she just thought, for some reason that she would just be the ones to get picked out the crowd. 01:39:32 Speaker 1: Did you tell her when you got home that you cried over Gunna? 01:39:38 Speaker 3: Did you also give her the number to better help. 01:39:40 Speaker 2: Cry for cry crying because Chris Brown didn't pick me. Mental health is we don't address it in the black community enough. 01:39:48 Speaker 1: But fans do. Fanshit Drake bought a push a T microphone off eBay that clearly push your T did not sign I'm sorry, like fans do fanship. 01:39:59 Speaker 2: Yeah, but there is this line between being a fan and then having mental health issues. 01:40:04 Speaker 1: I think buying as a he was a kid, so I get it. I bought stupid ship off eBay. But yeah, buying a microphone that clearly Pushing T didn't sign off eBay as could be considered. 01:40:14 Speaker 3: Why do you say clearly he didn't sign. 01:40:16 Speaker 1: I just don't think that person had a signed mic from Push and T. I think he probably just signed it. 01:40:23 Speaker 8: M hm. 01:40:24 Speaker 6: I kept one of Beyonce's towels her makeup on it for a long time. 01:40:30 Speaker 1: What would you do with it? 01:40:31 Speaker 6: I kept it in my drawer next to my Steelers terrible towel. 01:40:35 Speaker 7: Yo, what are you a Steelers fan? 01:40:39 Speaker 6: I used to be with everything about you until today before the boycott was a heavy Steelers. 01:40:43 Speaker 7: Don't you love Tomlin? 01:40:44 Speaker 9: Isn't that your guys?
