[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome to the Forty K-Lorecast. [SPEAKER_03]: Welcome to Forty K. Lorcass with me, John Barsati and Brad Chester. [SPEAKER_03]: This guy. [SPEAKER_03]: Who is still sick? [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I am. [SPEAKER_03]: Good job, Brad. [SPEAKER_03]: If you hear the hard breaks that's Brad coughing. [SPEAKER_00]: Right there. [SPEAKER_03]: And I haven't cut that one out. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just going to let me leave that one in for all of you. [SPEAKER_00]: You're welcome. [SPEAKER_03]: On today's cast, we're going to cover one of the most infamous, if not iconic, remember of the thousand songs? [SPEAKER_00]: For ever though. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Armon, he actually has been around technically longer than Magnus. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but Aaron on the has had a model for every edition of Forty Cave that I played out. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's up to second. [SPEAKER_03]: Wow, I actually didn't realize it. [SPEAKER_03]: There we go. [SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, our month's been around for a while. [SPEAKER_03]: So before we get started again during a discord, it's really active right now, which we love. [SPEAKER_03]: It's like maybe a hundred and twenty hundred thirty of you guys in there right now. [SPEAKER_00]: Having some real discussions. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: We'd like to keep you guys up there. [SPEAKER_03]: We're adding more pages to it. [SPEAKER_03]: Our discord's becoming kind of our number one platform for communication and then just community engagement. [SPEAKER_03]: So we really do appreciate it as I mean Brad and I post and do it. [SPEAKER_03]: So those of you who [SPEAKER_03]: are in the discord probably are recognized that we're there a lot, but for those of you who aren't in a discord, please join it's a fun community and we're really having a lot of fun there. [SPEAKER_03]: We also, if you don't like our audio, I have a Patreon page. [SPEAKER_03]: Help us fix that audio. [SPEAKER_00]: We're trying to fix it. [SPEAKER_00]: But the best part about this is I was just about to plug where I'll be next week. [SPEAKER_00]: And this will come out two weeks after that. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we've talked about a depth of con. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for seeing us at a depth of con is the better way of putting it, Brad. [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: I understand how time works. [SPEAKER_03]: But anyway, all to the topic at hand, on the days cast, [SPEAKER_03]: We're actually going to use Raman as a way to tell the story of the thousand sons, and this is more of a, at least John's opinion, Brad can correct me wrong here. [SPEAKER_03]: I just don't like Magnus's story, and I think it's kind of boring and laying. [SPEAKER_00]: Raman is so excited. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's a better story. [SPEAKER_00]: This might be the most excited I've been for. [SPEAKER_00]: I've been excited for some cast because I like some different legions, but this is the character. [SPEAKER_00]: Even Abadans of the Man, [SPEAKER_00]: Eremon is such a conflicted character and so many things. [SPEAKER_00]: And his journey into darkness is a legit journey. [SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of times you go, hey man, he didn't do, he got screwed over. [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna talk over. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're gonna go over hell. [SPEAKER_03]: Where are Mankind? [SPEAKER_03]: How are Mankind got to be? [SPEAKER_03]: Who are Marn is? [SPEAKER_03]: You feel a little bit of sympathy for him, but he gets to a point in this where you're like, no, he eventually embraces. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no, dude, you're in dick. [SPEAKER_00]: No, he gets, he gets, he gets mad, almost mad scientist. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not fatty as bile style. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's kind of right in that way. [SPEAKER_00]: He gets, he gets that whole, and we'll go down this journey because I really like his arc because he went from a guy that was, I, I deal with. [SPEAKER_00]: Basically, he went from my deal list to a guy that got betrayed. [SPEAKER_00]: just time after die everyone. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean everyone and then became jaded and then he started dipping his toe into evil because he was like, well, these guys did this to me, you know, I can do this or I need this or these, this just up and justifies the means for this. [SPEAKER_00]: And we'll go over it. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's look. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, they don't care. [SPEAKER_03]: They're like, he's actually more intertwined in what other thousand sons are in forty-cays. [SPEAKER_03]: and Magnusus. [SPEAKER_03]: He's this big of a character, and it's kind of funded the digging into him. [SPEAKER_03]: So let's just dig in, though, and kind of top an armon. [SPEAKER_03]: So we'll start with just where do you come from? [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he's got a lot in common with me, because we're both immersed. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, armon's ancient. [SPEAKER_03]: So we talk about this a lot when we discuss both the chaos legions, even the human legions. [SPEAKER_03]: There's only a handful of characters who can actually date, who date back to pre crusade. [SPEAKER_03]: Aramon's one of them. [SPEAKER_03]: He actually comes from pre crusade. [SPEAKER_03]: His family, their ability, basically. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, their ability. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I like this term. [SPEAKER_00]: So how about this? [SPEAKER_00]: There are no ability enough that they didn't get purged after. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's a funny thing as those you listen to cast a lot. [SPEAKER_03]: No, if you notice this, I tend to crap on some of GW's writing from time to time. [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, it's weird. [SPEAKER_03]: So they refer to him as coming from nobility. [SPEAKER_03]: What they need by nobility is that when the Emperor was waging his war across the Terra with the Thunder Warriors, which is really just a war of genocide we have Thunder Warriors, pretty early on, the Warband that Armand's from went, yeah, we're con mercy here, like this isn't really worth it. [SPEAKER_03]: And because they enjoyed early enough, they get to be called nobility in air quotes, because [SPEAKER_03]: are smoked. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because they're not all dead. [SPEAKER_03]: Our month's family seems pretty noble to me. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's a good noble thing, but our month's family never had to fight the Thunder Warriors. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: A. K. A. Get slaughtered by the Thunder Warriors. [SPEAKER_00]: Ready for us to butcher this for the rest of the cast? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so let's dive into the next piece of our mind. [SPEAKER_03]: He has a brother and Brad. [SPEAKER_03]: My new brother, thank you. [SPEAKER_03]: The twin brother and Brad and I were discussing beforehand what we're going to call it. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to spell it for you. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, H. R. M. U. Z. D. I'd like to buy a file or a moose, arm rosed, arm rosed. [SPEAKER_03]: I literally, if G. W. Extended. [SPEAKER_03]: Here's what, if I were a G. W. writer, I would do. [SPEAKER_03]: I would randomly make a character in a random book whose name is just him. [SPEAKER_03]: Not a whole lesion, but just have one guy named Tim. [SPEAKER_03]: Leave everything else. [SPEAKER_03]: He's like Latin, Greek, Sanskrit, like Sanskrit, one-offs, but have a guy and make him important named Tim. [SPEAKER_03]: Just in mess with people. [SPEAKER_03]: If the Eisenhorn book had been called Eric, I just think it would have been enjoyable. [SPEAKER_03]: But anyway. [SPEAKER_03]: Our mind and almost almost we're gonna call him the big. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, or moves now. [SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna struggle through this. [SPEAKER_03]: Come on. [SPEAKER_03]: We have listeners. [SPEAKER_00]: They make their relationship pretty over the top. [SPEAKER_00]: They are twin brothers, best of friends, and they are both wildly psychic. [SPEAKER_03]: to the movie Double Dragon, basically. [SPEAKER_03]: Pretty much. [SPEAKER_03]: So that's the one right. [SPEAKER_03]: There's Jean-Claude Bandan plays both characters. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: You're not sure. [SPEAKER_00]: You're a horrible film. [SPEAKER_00]: But the is him and his brother are [SPEAKER_00]: pre-evident cycle. [SPEAKER_00]: Sure. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they're rock and roll and they are inseparable. [SPEAKER_00]: In the thing is, they don't, they go over the top of the, they don't at the same time because they're literally twins who have a connection anyways. [SPEAKER_00]: But they're twin psychic brothers. [SPEAKER_00]: So they actually do know what the other is thinking. [SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of times. [SPEAKER_00]: Again, [SPEAKER_00]: They're freaking magic brothers. [SPEAKER_03]: But at the beginning, they'd actually don't realize their psychic. [SPEAKER_03]: That's the fun, the fun thing about this. [SPEAKER_00]: No, they just know things. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the funny about this process is that we're going to get into the second is the psychic powers we're talking about here pre-great crusade. [SPEAKER_03]: So, dive back real quick because again, it's been like twenty castes we covered this. [SPEAKER_03]: The great crusade. [SPEAKER_03]: So, [SPEAKER_00]: The emperors taking back over the galaxy. [SPEAKER_00]: If the galaxy is basically dark, we had a dark age where everything at last, warp storms, thank you all for breaking the sky. [SPEAKER_00]: All that our breaks the sky, God's created, it's the national specifically, and they go back to take over the galaxy. [SPEAKER_00]: The emperor makes twenty legions of super soldiers that are all stemmed from a primary apiece. [SPEAKER_03]: Technically, twenty one. [SPEAKER_03]: It gets a little bit complicated here. [SPEAKER_00]: Technically, eighteen. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very much. [SPEAKER_03]: So he makes twenty legions, but one of those primarks is a twin. [SPEAKER_03]: So does that make a twenty one primarks? [SPEAKER_03]: This is the way this gets a math it's a little bit weird. [SPEAKER_03]: Two of them suddenly are redacted from Imperial history, which does kind of come up a little bit. [SPEAKER_03]: In some of this some cast we've done here and there. [SPEAKER_03]: But we'll dive into those a little bit. [SPEAKER_03]: The emperor has these primarks, and we sit down and says, well, which each of these primarks after they're gone, I could just clone them, but as we cover in a prior cast, like unless you're past third edition, that went away. [SPEAKER_03]: That wasn't the head for a little bit. [SPEAKER_03]: They were close for a second. [SPEAKER_03]: And then they went, no, that was stupid. [SPEAKER_03]: No, the jeans, the jeans, the jeans, where they take males between the age of thirteen and twenty-eight, fill them with these special organs. [SPEAKER_00]: And lots of drugs. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, I'll because it doesn't make zero sense. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, but who cares at sci-fi? [SPEAKER_03]: Let's enjoy ourselves. [SPEAKER_00]: He has to hunt down all the rest of those primers. [SPEAKER_00]: So we have twenty. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, we'll just say we have a team because we don't have any other two. [SPEAKER_00]: We have eighteen legions. [SPEAKER_00]: We have twenty legions. [SPEAKER_03]: And so we've got right around two million space marines that they he sets off with. [SPEAKER_03]: And that's the goal and the goal is to reclaim the galaxy. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's already broken these into the legions. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, one of them is first legion as we have covered. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, awkward. [SPEAKER_00]: awkward and we didn't meet him for a long time. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so what ends up? [SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, Armun and his brother are mused, Armuruzed, on-lawsed. [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, they joined the thousands of sons. [SPEAKER_03]: And they joined the same way, anyone else would. [SPEAKER_03]: They are, you know, they're brought in. [SPEAKER_03]: Someone shum, somehow shoves extra organs in them, including when it spits acid, still not part of the game. [SPEAKER_00]: But they're very sight to do this. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: However, this is, this is a great thing. [SPEAKER_03]: No one, this isn't like a, these aren't prisoners. [SPEAKER_03]: They're experimenting. [SPEAKER_03]: They're excited. [SPEAKER_00]: We are taking back man. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I'm going to make me a super soldier to do it. [SPEAKER_03]: The entire universe is going to bend my will. [SPEAKER_03]: I will point out, remember, they don't know about Xenos. [SPEAKER_03]: Like, they don't know about anything. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't know about Xenos. [SPEAKER_03]: They're actually expecting to go fight in other mankind. [SPEAKER_03]: And the first thing you're going to bump into is the ad Mac, which is what we'll skip that. [SPEAKER_00]: And the thing is, is that they're just a regular legion of the beginning. [SPEAKER_00]: We did Dark Angels. [SPEAKER_00]: Dark Angels are their own special flaw. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: It is not like our angels. [SPEAKER_03]: Brad's laughing because our show notes were like the thousands of songs were similar to the other eighteen legions, not including the first legion because they are, who boy? [SPEAKER_03]: They did some stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no one that does them. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's your uncle that comes to holidays. [SPEAKER_00]: You're like, what? [SPEAKER_03]: Where is he? [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, don't come back. [SPEAKER_00]: So they get, I mean, they don't get what they are for shit into this. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Literally, the crusade starts there in fifth year. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: They start doing and the Legion, I'm talking about Legion, not like three dudes doing card tricks. [SPEAKER_00]: The Legion starts, example, showing psychic powers. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: They just are connecting. [SPEAKER_00]: And not subtle ones, like this. [SPEAKER_00]: It's everywhere, too. [SPEAKER_00]: Guys are basically having, you're getting pre-cogs, you're getting literally dudes. [SPEAKER_00]: lightning people here you're getting forced lightning and telekinesis you're getting guys that can teleport and Nobody knows how the healthy control is shit. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, or what's going on. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they're and two of the most powerful people and it were are of course because again, it's writing it's going to be our mind as twin brother. [SPEAKER_03]: It's not going to be our mind in some random and they are to their thousand sons credit right away [SPEAKER_00]: They effectively go, hey, how can we make this craziness benefit us? [SPEAKER_00]: And they just start putting them together in, hey, can all of you guys shoot lightning balls out of your eyeballs? [SPEAKER_00]: Cool. [SPEAKER_00]: You're the lightning ball eyeball guys. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: You're this. [SPEAKER_00]: They start making them into the part of the forces of the laws of science. [SPEAKER_00]: And they start using tactics that involve [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: That being said, this great power comes with great consequence. [SPEAKER_03]: And don't worry, we're not foreshadowing. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to get to the story very shortly. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's not even just it's a terrible. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So this isn't like, hey, man, you've got to pay the paper. [SPEAKER_00]: This is like, hey, [SPEAKER_00]: crazy mutations start to ramp it through the Legion. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: It took me a little bit to research this enough because I was like, what do you mean by mutation? [SPEAKER_03]: They were all turning into chaos spawn. [SPEAKER_03]: Then if you if you have seen a chaos spawn model, they did that and it varied by speed. [SPEAKER_03]: Some guys it was quick. [SPEAKER_03]: Some guys it was slow. [SPEAKER_00]: We're talking, you know, you guys guys that were having problems with, hey, man, I'm losing my teeth and then you got another guy that's like, hey, I have tentacles now. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: When yesterday, [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And so originally, they think it's just some random infection. [SPEAKER_03]: They actually put people in stasis pods to kind of protect them from this. [SPEAKER_03]: And it just starts ripping the legion apart. [SPEAKER_00]: This is, we should go on it. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the flesh curse. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's good. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's right. [SPEAKER_03]: It's called the call it the flesh curse, but just for those of you trying to envision it, I can make your life easier. [SPEAKER_03]: Go to GW's website. [SPEAKER_03]: Look at a space frame model and then look at chaos spawn model and figure out that there's a process to go from point A to point B. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not great. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, the, the flickers isn't like smooth transition. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a, hey, this hurts. [SPEAKER_00]: How much on a scale of one to ten, uh, forty seven. [SPEAKER_03]: They are, and so it happens is this becomes multi-leveled issue. [SPEAKER_03]: One, it's, it's goes on for years. [SPEAKER_03]: The other legions are watching us happen too. [SPEAKER_03]: So it's like we talked before about how the dark angels are keep secrets. [SPEAKER_03]: Thousands of them weren't one of those legions. [SPEAKER_00]: They were telling everyone. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, anyone know how to make this. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they were. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's the problem. [SPEAKER_00]: Thousands of sons thought, Oh, my brother's will help me. [SPEAKER_00]: They did not. [SPEAKER_03]: They did not. [SPEAKER_03]: The other lesions, actual first reaction was burn them burn them. [SPEAKER_03]: Kill all of them. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, all of them. [SPEAKER_03]: The obvious there's something wrong. [SPEAKER_00]: And then the step down from that was, oh, just only kill the psychers. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, we're all psychers. [SPEAKER_03]: It did not get received. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, and this is a foreshadow to it more problems later that they ended having because of the psychers. [SPEAKER_03]: So [SPEAKER_03]: They didn't know what was happening, even if the thousands of sons of don't know what's happening. [SPEAKER_03]: And this mutation gets worse over time. [SPEAKER_03]: The biggest piece of this home mutation in reason we're talking about is a lot of layers, but the biggest one is, are among brother, Amruza, or whatever thing is, because I'm saying more. [SPEAKER_00]: He falls into the flesh curse in the worst possible way, because his brother slowly substitutes. [SPEAKER_03]: and our mind is rather unmentally connected. [SPEAKER_03]: So our mind not only feels his brother's pain, but feels his brother's fear. [SPEAKER_03]: And this becomes our mind's one of his main purposes of life. [SPEAKER_03]: It's like as life kind of is I have to, he is both [SPEAKER_03]: terrified of the flesh curse from here and I'm just saving ourselves a couple of hours here. [SPEAKER_03]: Whenever we talk about our mind throughout the next few years through this cast and the next cast, I understand he's afraid of the flesh curse happening to him. [SPEAKER_00]: Like wildly. [SPEAKER_03]: And he needs it to go. [SPEAKER_00]: But for him, it happened to him basically because because again, the connection with his brother, he knows this effectively did happen to him. [SPEAKER_00]: So now he's like, [SPEAKER_00]: This is not going down again. [SPEAKER_00]: I will figure, and this is one of the things that over goes over riding through his entirety of Araman's history is he gets pretty single focused on this is not happening. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna figure out a way for this not to happen. [SPEAKER_00]: And will I do some shit that's not great to make this not happen? [SPEAKER_03]: Yep. [SPEAKER_03]: Yep. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, they had to look it up. [SPEAKER_03]: My numbers are right here, probably. [SPEAKER_03]: It's all made up. [SPEAKER_03]: But still, the flesh curse basically ravages them for about thirty seven years. [SPEAKER_03]: And that's a goes until eight, forty and thirty where they actually finally meet magnets. [SPEAKER_03]: The Emperor gets to Prospero. [SPEAKER_03]: We'll knock Prospero in a minute. [SPEAKER_03]: But gets to Prospero and they all teleport down in meet magnets. [SPEAKER_03]: They find the reunion magnets in the emperor, do their thing, and the emperor pieces out. [SPEAKER_03]: And he leaves and has these. [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, again, bad English dad, who for sure could have stopped this. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, and that's what happens. [SPEAKER_03]: We discovered he was stopping it because the second the emperor leaves. [SPEAKER_03]: the mutations become more crazy and way faster. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's just, so yeah, guys, this is a Zeanch curse. [SPEAKER_03]: Like then we're going to get into what happened in a second. [SPEAKER_03]: But it's a Zeanch curse. [SPEAKER_03]: The M by the Legion being around the Emperor, he was keeping it away. [SPEAKER_03]: He wasn't even trying to. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he just happened by being around him. [SPEAKER_03]: The chaos gods couldn't reach into the thousands of sons as well as they could. [SPEAKER_03]: But secondly, he's gone. [SPEAKER_03]: They're just magnets left. [SPEAKER_03]: And so now the curse is going rampant and then suddenly the curse stops. [SPEAKER_00]: My favorite part about the notes, I always have to give you the highlights for the notes, because John's note is, this is a lawyer case, not a book, so we can jump right in the spoil list. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, in the books, what could have happened to Magnus? [SPEAKER_03]: So it turns out Magnus had been communicating with Zeanch for years. [SPEAKER_00]: For like the whole talk. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Magnus grew up on Prospero, Prospero was all psychers. [SPEAKER_03]: He was raised by psychers. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to, you know what, people can argue with me on this one, because it's not full canon on this and I had this argument before. [SPEAKER_00]: I think that Zeanch was talking to Magnus from day one. [SPEAKER_03]: I actually would agree with you. [SPEAKER_03]: I think I think he died in his entire life. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think Magnus the whole time even before McZent was talking to Magnus before he landed on Prospero, like that. [SPEAKER_03]: It's that love. [SPEAKER_00]: I think because it's insidious. [SPEAKER_00]: He's it's not like Zent had to throw up giant signs. [SPEAKER_00]: I think he was guiding him every second of every day. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because Magnus was not only trained by psychers, but like he had reached knowledge in the warp. [SPEAKER_03]: No one had. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he's already he's at birth top three psych on the galaxy. [SPEAKER_03]: So you have the emperor, Eldrade and him and order and then you can have [SPEAKER_00]: They put milk into our people and yeah, I made milk out of it. [SPEAKER_03]: I think I think milk adores behind Eldrade in power for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but Eldrade doesn't come in for like a while because he's been there one of the game. [SPEAKER_03]: I thought if you're talking in the existence of the galaxy and for his number one, I think Eldrade's probably number two and then you go magnets, milk adore, one of them didn't burn up on the golden throne. [SPEAKER_03]: So just find out what happened. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: All right, and the thing is, is that Magnus has been getting guidance. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, he's been getting guidance like wheel of time guidance. [SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, that's the, that's exactly true. [SPEAKER_03]: And the issue. [SPEAKER_03]: So Magnus is beginning information from Zinge, but the thing about Zinge is that everything with Zinge has a catch. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's always a deal. [SPEAKER_03]: And so Zinge doesn't grant knowledge or free. [SPEAKER_03]: So my opinion is the flesh curse is probably something that was given as a [SPEAKER_03]: Because if you look at the timing of the flesh curse around the time it took the magnets to grow up, I think the flesh curse lines up pretty close to the magnets arriving in prosper. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we, if they basically throw the flesh clear, he's been manipulating Magnus the entire time. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, hey, man, do you want to keep having your son's beat, technical monsters or not? [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: And that's what happened. [SPEAKER_03]: Magnus reaches back into the warp to figure out how to, how to solve it. [SPEAKER_03]: And he comes back, re-emerges in front of his legion, missing an eye. [SPEAKER_00]: He did the whole old thing. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, missing an eye. [SPEAKER_03]: They're not great writers. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this is literally what happened down here. [SPEAKER_03]: It's hoping no one at GW is going to adapt the condolences or podcasts. [SPEAKER_03]: I couldn't have an awkward感覺 with someone like did you have you just been shooting on my writing the whole time? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but to in my defense, it's not good. [SPEAKER_02]: We'll be right back after a quick break. [SPEAKER_03]: So, Eddie, so magus reappears in front of his legion. [SPEAKER_03]: He's missing an eye and he declares the legion the flesh. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't just say he found a cure. [SPEAKER_00]: He basically says he spikes the football. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's like, I cured the flesh. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm the best ever. [SPEAKER_03]: All of you are and his go to his me look at what I did. [SPEAKER_03]: So, [SPEAKER_00]: But also says it will never return. [SPEAKER_00]: That's going to come up. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and to never return. [SPEAKER_03]: Don't worry about it, guys. [SPEAKER_03]: I got you. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm this good at it. [SPEAKER_03]: It really does this love which doctors stuff here of like someone like, you know, like, right by Preso Nami, like, look, I made the ocean go away. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, shit. [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, back to our mom back to our mom. [SPEAKER_03]: So back to our mom now. [SPEAKER_03]: Our mom's going to rise with the region because he's a wild talent. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's also pretty focused and driven to. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so he's he ends up becoming a chief librarian which in the thousand sons is a captain effectively and his great thing is pre-cog so he can see the future this group and he's group of guys but they would do and it's a pretty cool trick actually they could predict enemy movements and enemy actions so it's easy to kind of just set yourself up so [SPEAKER_03]: live, they're just always setting traps. [SPEAKER_03]: But yes, like so much to it. [SPEAKER_03]: Unfortunately, he also was spending some time. [SPEAKER_03]: This is the early part where the legions tended to share for lack of a better phrase. [SPEAKER_03]: And as part of the sharing, he spent some time with the word bears. [SPEAKER_00]: Which means he spent some time with Airbus. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: The douche of the galaxy. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and they actually became buddies. [SPEAKER_03]: Although, interesting note here, Aramon's kind of got a thing for science. [SPEAKER_03]: He's got a thing for her. [SPEAKER_00]: I was saying before, he's not, he's not, he's not Fabi, see by all he got out. [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He's, he's pretty disconnected with what's actually going down. [SPEAKER_00]: Like he does just pre-gang thing because he's great at it. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: But he's more got a bunch of side projects that he's, he's basically on his fourth PhD in psychics. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: So he's like, as they're conquering worlds, he's just reading a text he can find and you can find about how the universe functions. [SPEAKER_03]: He's, he's big into it. [SPEAKER_03]: And it is funny, of course, one of the guys is like the preeminent magic user, the entire galaxy is super into, you know, science. [SPEAKER_03]: It's just a thing. [SPEAKER_03]: But one issue that he has watching the word bears is they've got an insane worship of the emperor. [SPEAKER_03]: And his problem is not that they're worshiping the emperor. [SPEAKER_03]: His more point is that what proof you have the emperor is a god. [SPEAKER_00]: And also, I have more proof that there's other powers out there. [SPEAKER_00]: And I want to find out about them. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, he's pretty big on Yemen. [SPEAKER_00]: Zero things are forbidden. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, you got Arabs. [SPEAKER_00]: Egg naman when he's like, I'd like to find out some forbidden law in our business is like, you should do all of that law. [SPEAKER_00]: All of a hundred percent. [SPEAKER_03]: How can I help you? [SPEAKER_03]: So what at the same time, our month's got another problem. [SPEAKER_03]: And the problem he's got is he's noticing the other legions have an issue with their psychic powers. [SPEAKER_03]: So this becomes a new focus for his. [SPEAKER_03]: He thinks somehow that he can convince their lesions that psychors are good. [SPEAKER_00]: This is literally. [SPEAKER_00]: He's done a bunch of bad things. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll get into one of the big spells that was a boo boo later. [SPEAKER_00]: This literally for me was his dumbest idea. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: because he just goes on a PR campaign in the lunch room about how great psychics are. [SPEAKER_00]: And here's the great things psychics can do. [SPEAKER_00]: You're like, dude, you're not that far removed from everybody having tentacles coming out of the room. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, and that's not, he takes his to a leveled. [SPEAKER_03]: It's not just him standing on a soapbox at lunch declaring something. [SPEAKER_03]: He actually brings in people to a videographers, whatever that would pass for in the, it's like that. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's true. [SPEAKER_00]: He wants to make sure that he documents. [SPEAKER_03]: All the good that say every two thing the psychics do he brings in people to document it so it's getting recorded for imperial history [SPEAKER_03]: They're shooting lightning bolts out of their fingers. [SPEAKER_03]: Their melty was brains. [SPEAKER_03]: They're seeing the future. [SPEAKER_03]: Some reason, a certain cough cough Lehman Russ didn't think this was cool. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's a not super pro-siker. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're going to get there in a bit. [SPEAKER_03]: Another thing to do is that Armour was an oddly independent thinker for a spacemary. [SPEAKER_03]: If you think like the spacemaries are meant to be followers. [SPEAKER_00]: Hundred percent and he [SPEAKER_00]: Weirdly also has he's willing to argue with Magnus and a drop of ass. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and the emperor. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's what he doesn't directly interact with the emperor negatively, but he makes comments about the emperor negatively. [SPEAKER_00]: because he also wants to know why we're doing stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: And the thing is he does make good points because he just goes, hey, man, why are we doing this? [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, he's actually, this is, this is where him and Abadan fall pretty similar in my mind. [SPEAKER_03]: You read their story up to, and we're going to get to the point where it's going to change, but to a certain point, you're like, yeah, he's right. [SPEAKER_03]: You read this, you read the thing, you're like, yeah, I almost got to go point. [SPEAKER_03]: He's right. [SPEAKER_03]: Why are they be doing this? [SPEAKER_03]: This is stupid. [SPEAKER_03]: We're just killing off. [SPEAKER_03]: We're conquering planets and slaughtering people for what reason. [SPEAKER_00]: He's also pretty popular, kind of. [SPEAKER_00]: He's a real, he's a dudes dude. [SPEAKER_00]: He's one of the bros. [SPEAKER_00]: But they also kind of hate him because he's literally constantly getting in trouble. [SPEAKER_00]: So like if you buddy up with Aramon, he is right, he does have your best interest at heart, but also dude man, we constantly are getting shit on because you'd never shut your mouth. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're going to get the argument campaign the second where he gets in some real shit, but that's what he does. [SPEAKER_03]: Our among he has these ideas and Brad's dead right. [SPEAKER_03]: His ideas are correct. [SPEAKER_03]: And the people running through his buddies say, yeah, that's what let's go do it. [SPEAKER_03]: And then he gets them to a lot of shit because being correct. [SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't always matter if when you're in this authoritarian regime of the emperor. [SPEAKER_03]: So as we were just touching on though, this issue of psychers within the imperial is starting to get a lot worse. [SPEAKER_03]: The further the crusade pushes, the more the space marine legions are fighting people with psychic powers. [SPEAKER_03]: It's good. [SPEAKER_03]: But without fighting war pantatize yet, those haven't popped out. [SPEAKER_03]: but they're fighting like they're like the ragdanner kind of a psychic force not quite. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, they are because they're just they just use it, but they use it more to manipulate. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: They buff themselves up. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but they've also fighting people who literally are psychers or firing like all the same weapons or the thousands sons are using. [SPEAKER_03]: The, the, some of the the hardest battle and they have actually fought. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't know this, but they fought chaos and fuse. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: They don't know it. [SPEAKER_03]: It's what they were, but if you read the books, they're talking about a lot is that, you know, it's space ones and one of the biggest ones here are getting pissed because they're going and engaging in a battle. [SPEAKER_03]: They're losing a large number of soldiers to the exact same weapons and tactics that the thousands sons use. [SPEAKER_00]: They're not super excited about it. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and they're starting to have that moment of like, hey, the example I would use like chemical weapons in our world of like, this is a weapon of evil. [SPEAKER_03]: So why are we using it? [SPEAKER_00]: In the fingers, was that the thousand songs aren't wrong, but the other lesions aren't wrong, either. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: Because warp use attracts other warp use. [SPEAKER_00]: It just does. [SPEAKER_00]: So like, while they're not inherently doing anything wrong, [SPEAKER_03]: Imagine if someone told them that, or someone who knew all of those features, from the beginning, from the beginning, and you're said to them, hey, by the way, don't use psychic powers because it's going to empower these entities in blah, blah, blah. [SPEAKER_00]: Or maybe fortify yourself against corruption. [SPEAKER_00]: But no. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they did figure it out, you know, and made the green night slater on, but I mean, who cares? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: That's that's later. [SPEAKER_03]: That's literally day posted. [SPEAKER_03]: That's like what, heresy day four, they make it very nice. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: So the issue is that our mind at this point, again, is watching this happen. [SPEAKER_03]: He's he's seeing all it leaves us turn against the thousands of sons and decides [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I'm just going to educate them on how great psychic powers are. [SPEAKER_00]: So the idea that before we just tell them wrong, because he's saying the best way to come back psychic powers is to have [SPEAKER_00]: One psychic defense, and I can, and because he's a prodigy, he's like, well, I'll just wreck that guy that's coming at me. [SPEAKER_03]: This is this is simple. [SPEAKER_03]: So that takes us to kind of a bit of a turning point in the R among stories. [SPEAKER_03]: This is one of the first time that he gets really kind of wrecked over. [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to go with Egg Huru. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't like, [SPEAKER_03]: I don't understand GW when they write a name down. [SPEAKER_03]: It's either all vowels or no vowels. [SPEAKER_03]: There's never like a nice little in-between. [SPEAKER_03]: A-G-H-O-R-U. [SPEAKER_03]: It's fun because at least they're writing in England. [SPEAKER_03]: So I know they do this. [SPEAKER_03]: I can make fun of it. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't have that weird moment of like my being racist. [SPEAKER_03]: Like, it's like, no, we're good. [SPEAKER_03]: This is this is some guy in England. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, the Ted Wellington who wrote this. [SPEAKER_00]: Ted Wellington. [SPEAKER_03]: Actually, feed or not. [SPEAKER_03]: That's the third. [SPEAKER_03]: We know it's the adore. [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, GW. [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, Akhu Ru is a planet full of men of humans. [SPEAKER_03]: That. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but it's not right. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I say current occupants. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: This is what I say. [SPEAKER_00]: The mail came in it said L. H and L. Our world or current occupants, what they all said. [SPEAKER_03]: And the cool thing is, the thousands of sons get there and not a drop of blood is shit. [SPEAKER_03]: They reach out to the local community and the local communities like, yeah, we'll totally join the Emperor of mankind. [SPEAKER_03]: Why not? [SPEAKER_03]: Who cares? [SPEAKER_03]: I can do the thing. [SPEAKER_03]: And so everyone's super happy except there's a little problem there. [SPEAKER_03]: This planet was one of the major former Eldar settlements. [SPEAKER_00]: It also has the planet is literally a psychic capacitor basically. [SPEAKER_00]: It is generated to amplify psychic energy so that you can use it. [SPEAKER_00]: Because again, LDAR technology was based on making things happen by your mind. [SPEAKER_03]: From the warp, and the all of thousands of songs can sense or something up, but Magnus actually knows something serious. [SPEAKER_03]: This is a real place. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, man, I just learned a lot from the emperor without even learning from him. [SPEAKER_00]: This is like I could should I tell my sons this or should I do a real sketchy? [SPEAKER_00]: I'll be back guys. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't follow me. [SPEAKER_03]: Which is exactly what he does. [SPEAKER_03]: Because what happens magnets are grilling the local populace. [SPEAKER_03]: They start telling the mythology of like, oh, yeah, before we were here. [SPEAKER_00]: They literally tell the fall. [SPEAKER_00]: They tell the story of the fall. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: There's people here before us that were people, and they fell to corruption and hedonism, and then after that, they all died. [SPEAKER_03]: And Magnus went, well, that's interesting. [SPEAKER_03]: And there's a giant mountain. [SPEAKER_03]: And again, I don't know if you'll be a match, talking to my Shenji out of the day. [SPEAKER_03]: There's one mountain on the entire planet, because apparently these are, they're flat earthers. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think there was one, I think that there was one elder constructed. [SPEAKER_00]: I actually think that this was of elder constructed. [SPEAKER_03]: Mountain. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so it's kind of like like those of us who live, like actually in the US, in the US when the land flow gets really, really is all the way done. [SPEAKER_03]: They cover it with grass. [SPEAKER_03]: And it looks like a giant hell, but it's actually a hell made of garbage. [SPEAKER_03]: This is the same thing, but not full of garbage. [SPEAKER_03]: It's full of psychic power. [SPEAKER_00]: And also like kind of a lot of knowledge. [SPEAKER_00]: They had, this is like the Mass Effect Up when you do the first one when you show up and they're like, here's everything we know forever. [SPEAKER_03]: So this giant mountain Magnus just keeps affecting the kind of staring over his shoulder at it and then just does everybody. [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, I'm going to I'll be back. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Wonders off to go to the because he knows there's something in the mountain. [SPEAKER_03]: He just not sure what it is yet and he goes over to figure out to learn this. [SPEAKER_03]: It turns out it's the web way. [SPEAKER_03]: There's actually a giant web way gate. [SPEAKER_03]: That's day. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's Jack though. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, unfortunately, slenish got there a little bit before, and they show it down. [SPEAKER_03]: So he's in there just tinkering with this web way. [SPEAKER_03]: Are a man, unfortunately, as we said before, doesn't really like upper management. [SPEAKER_03]: And so when upper management says, I'm taking a break, you guys keep doing all the work. [SPEAKER_03]: He goes. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, not a chance. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, not a chance. [SPEAKER_03]: And convinces him. [SPEAKER_00]: He went up with his camera. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, what the hell is going on and goes up there because he can to defend our among here too. [SPEAKER_03]: He's not being a prick. [SPEAKER_03]: The thing is, our among can sense there's power, but he can also sense the power is. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he senses the corruption. [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't even understand corruption at this point, but he doesn't understand real corruption. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he knows there's something wrong with where matters. [SPEAKER_03]: And Magnus, of course, obviously knows exactly what the corruption is, then I don't care. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to look at it. [SPEAKER_03]: So, Armand thinks Magnus is in danger. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, this in a little click on it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: This is when Arman starts to learn about the web way, and he becomes pretty goddamn, say, he's got two or three full obsessions, but learning the web way gate also a Harley Quinn players, you get the harass, Aramon, for the next eleven thousand years, because, yeah, that's who, he gets coyote, rode runner to coyote, pretty hardcore. [SPEAKER_03]: He does, and those stories are kind of, the cast part two, don't worry, guys, we're gonna get there. [SPEAKER_03]: Don't miss one big cast part two, I promise, we're getting there. [SPEAKER_03]: So he betrays Magnus' wishes and just comes rocking up into the mountain. [SPEAKER_03]: Magnus senses their presence that comes blasting out because he, like his dad, the emperor, is trying to keep all this crap a secret. [SPEAKER_03]: I guess we can take a little side note here. [SPEAKER_03]: Magnus has been talking to the chaos gods. [SPEAKER_03]: at Matt or primarily Zeech. [SPEAKER_03]: He's been led by a carrot by Zeech. [SPEAKER_03]: He's item-like in my opinion. [SPEAKER_03]: I think he's been speaking to Zeech. [SPEAKER_03]: And the thing is he knows he's not supposed to be speaking to Zeech. [SPEAKER_03]: And Magnus is aware of the Emperor somehow does know he's been speaking to Zeech. [SPEAKER_00]: Magnus is credit. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Magnus thinks the whole time, wildly and correctly, that he's one-up in Zeech. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Every single time. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And you're missing an eye. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're like, hey, man, you know your record versus him is zero, four hundred thousand and one. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and we just pretended that you got to draw once. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he's it's pretty ugly. [SPEAKER_03]: So Magnus comes blasting out of this of the mountain saying [SPEAKER_03]: yelling. [SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't say a word that he just scowls at them and walks away, but he's effective at psychic saying nothing to see in there. [SPEAKER_03]: Follow me. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going back to base and screw you guys for an interview. [SPEAKER_03]: Anyone who has a child in this teenage years knows, this is why you knock before you enter the room. [SPEAKER_03]: That was a look that Magnus was giving him. [SPEAKER_03]: Later though, for those of you who want to read a good book, one of the cool scenes does happen here where one of the thousand sons basically leans on the mountain the wrong way and wakes up an elder bunch of elder titans. [SPEAKER_03]: So the world member this world was taken without a drop of bloodshed and then a bunch of elder titans, not rafnights. [SPEAKER_03]: Titans, these are much larger. [SPEAKER_00]: They're a bunch of fans. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they're made out of wraithbone wake up and begin attacking. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't attack. [SPEAKER_00]: They start swapping. [SPEAKER_03]: That's true, slaughtering. [SPEAKER_03]: Thousands of times have to call for support. [SPEAKER_03]: And of course, one of the local ones is a space wall. [SPEAKER_00]: Sam here. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's they're super excited to have the space. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll save them. [SPEAKER_03]: Again, and so the space was coming. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a really good story in the book. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not gonna get as a play by play, but the battle was actually pretty bad as this as a result though Magnus [SPEAKER_03]: Once this is all over, it does address his legion. [SPEAKER_00]: And he... He trusts while knowledge about him. [SPEAKER_00]: He kind of nowhere about the way. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, this is huge. [SPEAKER_03]: Because two things come out of this battle. [SPEAKER_03]: First is like, Armand effectively tells them that there's a great ocean. [SPEAKER_03]: It's where he refers to it as. [SPEAKER_03]: That's the warp. [SPEAKER_03]: And there's evil and corrupt entities in it. [SPEAKER_03]: So Magnus has now told his entire legion, the piece of information that no, even Lordguard doesn't know this, to be fair. [SPEAKER_03]: And the Emperor... [SPEAKER_03]: desperately doesn't want anyone to know this. [SPEAKER_03]: So big eff up there. [SPEAKER_03]: Arm on is gets takes us information in two ways. [SPEAKER_03]: One likes information, he's arm on, but also merely goes, how long have you known this? [SPEAKER_03]: Like, why is it my am I just hearing about it now when it's in front of me? [SPEAKER_00]: It's not a way presents it, which is a effectively, this is an endless sea of power that you can do anything that you could possibly want with it. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's kind of like, hey man, we could have probably saved some people. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, instead of just brought this up earlier. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: So at the same time, with after the space walls helped them defeat these all their titans, again, read the book, it's really cool battle, and all their titans are horrifyingly powerful, because they're quick, really quick, actually, which makes them scary. [SPEAKER_03]: Heed them makes friends with a guy named Worm Drake. [SPEAKER_03]: And Worm Drake is a wolf priest, which is effectively a siker with the spacer. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm on your side. [SPEAKER_03]: It was way cooler in the early editions. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, well, for it. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: you have a not invisible pulse. [SPEAKER_03]: So it is endless campaign to bring everyone around to psychics. [SPEAKER_03]: Araman thinks worm Drake is his buddy and gives worm Drake for shadow. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not he's not also he's showing him so much like in he's just showing him all of these felonies he's basically. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's what he's he's coming in saying. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, you guys think we can cast lightning. [SPEAKER_03]: That's cool. [SPEAKER_03]: I can actually read your mind and know you know what I can do. [SPEAKER_00]: He can I can literally he was talking. [SPEAKER_00]: I can literally dominate the minds of pop. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I could control swads of people. [SPEAKER_03]: Like, isn't that amazing? [SPEAKER_03]: You guys should be totally on board with this. [SPEAKER_00]: Spoiler alert. [SPEAKER_00]: He was not. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Spoiler alert. [SPEAKER_03]: So move on further from Argos, they're on the next chunk, which is this place of Heliosa, which is another [SPEAKER_03]: world that's not in compliance. [SPEAKER_03]: And again, space wolves and the thousand suns are fighting together. [SPEAKER_03]: Actually, I think the dark angles were here too. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not mistaken. [SPEAKER_03]: I might make something up here. [SPEAKER_03]: But they're engaging in this campaign. [SPEAKER_03]: And the long story short and helios says helios of was a system. [SPEAKER_03]: They had a few different king's in it. [SPEAKER_03]: They refused the Emperor's demands. [SPEAKER_00]: They're pretty high tech here. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they're pretty high tech. [SPEAKER_03]: They fought back really hard and it became, and because Lehman Russ was the first one there, he's the one who said, all right, we're wiping them off the map. [SPEAKER_03]: But he called in the, so Lehman is the one who called for the support of the thousand sons. [SPEAKER_03]: So you've got, in the final battle, you've got space wolves, [SPEAKER_03]: And thousands of songs fighting together, this includes a Lehman Ross and Magnus, or both on planet fighting not that far from each other. [SPEAKER_03]: If you think, wow, it's like detail, John, why don't you give it to me? [SPEAKER_03]: Think we all know what's happening next. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, Ted starts acting funny. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: As they're going through this, the, you know, thousands of songs are firing or yelling lightning bolt and shooting it out of their hands. [SPEAKER_03]: One random thousand-son sorcerer just [SPEAKER_03]: He's just exhausted and suddenly explodes into a chaos. [SPEAKER_00]: This is a big deal because there's several things. [SPEAKER_00]: One, this drives me crazy because if you've played any sci-fi fantasy game, you know that when you're drawing upon the forces of darkness and the power, if you've played dragon age, any of those things, you know that the more tired you get, the harder it is to resist corruption. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, if you're not told, there's any goddamn corruption, [SPEAKER_00]: You're not ready for corruption. [SPEAKER_00]: Whatever. [SPEAKER_00]: Whatever. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so he's just going. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he, he's basically his defenses go down. [SPEAKER_00]: Demon possesses him and poof. [SPEAKER_00]: Small. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Magnus sees this and goes over to it. [SPEAKER_03]: It watches this happen. [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, and Magnus knows the truth. [SPEAKER_03]: He knows that he didn't get rid of the flesh curse. [SPEAKER_03]: He just made a deal with zines to get rid of the flesh curse and for zines. [SPEAKER_03]: Now it's fucking with them, in front of everybody. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because there's also forty-seven clauses in the contract. [SPEAKER_00]: Of course. [SPEAKER_00]: You like, did you have your lawyer look over it? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, the Zeench guy said it was a good, good read. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: And so Zeench now has gone in a flip this guy over. [SPEAKER_03]: Magnus sees this and he goes over to basically. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is specific. [SPEAKER_00]: He's doing this to put him in odds with Lehman Russ. [SPEAKER_03]: With Lehman Russ. [SPEAKER_03]: Magnus goes over to Huggham. [SPEAKER_03]: And I think in my opinion, the thing Magnus was going to use his, like, powers to turn him back. [SPEAKER_03]: As he reaches into Huggim, the chaos spawn explodes, because... Leave an eight down of that. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Leave an rust saw problem, and leave an rust saw of the problem with a bolt gun and blew the thing apart. [SPEAKER_03]: Delemans credit, problem was solved. [SPEAKER_03]: So for those of you who play, Warhammer competitively, yes, apparently you can kill a demon spawn with a bolt gun. [SPEAKER_00]: He's got a shooter harder. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a shooter harder and under current rules cheat. [SPEAKER_03]: This, you know, so Lehman just killed a demon. [SPEAKER_03]: Magnus thinks he just killed one of his kids. [SPEAKER_03]: Let's just say these two are not, or this is it. [SPEAKER_03]: They're, they are going to kill each other now in front of everybody. [SPEAKER_00]: And also Lehman's been having some issues for a while because he's been against this from day one. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And Lehman occasionally is dirt, dirt, but I have to give the props on the fact that once Lehman decides something, well, [SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't really back down. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it doesn't change his mind very well. [SPEAKER_03]: Luckily. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's right. [SPEAKER_03]: I was wrong. [SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't the darkenals there. [SPEAKER_03]: It was of course the word there is right there. [SPEAKER_03]: Because Lord. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And Lord God decided to get in between the two of them and convince them not to fight each other. [SPEAKER_00]: They leave in a very, very cool situation, though. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, a little bit of animosity in the fact that Lehman says, I will kill you. [SPEAKER_03]: The next element says, your day of reckoning is coming and he says a two magnus looking him dead in the eyes and then walks off to go slaughter the planet. [SPEAKER_00]: He's like, just in case you were wondering. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, just rib, points at his eyes, points at Magnus' eyes, and that scene from blood sport, where then slits the throat. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, that's the more important things we're talking about, Amon. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Armon, though, loses his shit when he sees this. [SPEAKER_00]: Armon's off to the side because, hey, man, remember when the flesh curse wasn't cured at all? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Because it do just literally popped into his fun. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, remember, he just recently actually found out that demonic entities exist, and Araman is [SPEAKER_00]: A genius among the space brains in the first place, he kind of gets to a two together and goes, hey man, did he just get possessed? [SPEAKER_00]: Is that what happened? [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, that's a thousand percent. [SPEAKER_03]: This was all a lie. [SPEAKER_03]: And he is furious with Magnus, because he knows now, before he believed Magnus was lying to him, keeping stuff from him, and now he knows. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: He is just right there. [SPEAKER_00]: And he got to know him hardbound a lot, but [SPEAKER_00]: His brother died of this. [SPEAKER_00]: He's been lied about it twice. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And been kept in the dark. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: All of this shit could have been stopped. [SPEAKER_00]: If you would have just told us, we could have helped it. [SPEAKER_00]: We could have the entire time the Legion could have been strengthening their inner fortress. [SPEAKER_00]: Their psychic powers. [SPEAKER_00]: Their ability to deal with chaos. [SPEAKER_00]: If you would have let us know, I don't know that there's a potential for me to get pull a handy and die immediately from it. [SPEAKER_03]: This leads us to the next piece of the Raman falling from happy place. [SPEAKER_03]: The council of Nikkei. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, things did not go well. [SPEAKER_03]: That's going to decay. [SPEAKER_03]: Nikkei, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Nik, she's surprised anyway. [SPEAKER_02]: We'll be right back after a quick break. [SPEAKER_03]: So partially because of what had just happened, also a lot of other stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: It finally came to a head. [SPEAKER_03]: And the space marine legions who were not psychers, I think this is a pretty [SPEAKER_00]: Most of this is a celebrity gather. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they decide to have a special meeting. [SPEAKER_03]: The Emperor shows up. [SPEAKER_03]: Malkador shows up is at least five or six primarks who are there. [SPEAKER_03]: Of him Magnus are a minor in attendance. [SPEAKER_00]: More, more terian. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, more he's very. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, more terian who's also got his doc holiday. [SPEAKER_00]: But I guess my hypocrisy has no bounds. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, to more terian's credit, he while he was a side girl, he wasn't using it at this stage. [SPEAKER_03]: Sure. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, he wasn't aware he was. [SPEAKER_03]: I like more. [SPEAKER_03]: I like more Tarian. [SPEAKER_03]: So anyway, it's one of my better models. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: He actually looks better than that. [SPEAKER_00]: Or Tarian literally puts down a filibuster of, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: This is all evil period. [SPEAKER_03]: So the purpose of the meeting was to determine what to do about psychers within their own legions. [SPEAKER_03]: And they all speak. [SPEAKER_03]: The first one is of course, more Tarian just going, just going hog wild on. [SPEAKER_03]: Cyprus caused the long night. [SPEAKER_03]: They keep destroying planets. [SPEAKER_03]: The demons, the demons are bad. [SPEAKER_03]: Like it's all the things, a more tearing, any else you prefer, you're going to read that when you read the book, more Terrence points are all correct. [SPEAKER_03]: He's completely right. [SPEAKER_03]: He's just a huge emperor. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he's like, that's the irony. [SPEAKER_03]: And many becomes a weird irony because the demon prints, but Morty's entire point is well received that [SPEAKER_03]: but every time they encounter large groups of psychers, it's bad. [SPEAKER_03]: It's always bad. [SPEAKER_03]: It's just because being astronauts and what's a navigators, but that's a side note. [SPEAKER_03]: I just don't have to travel. [SPEAKER_03]: It's always bad. [SPEAKER_03]: However, the big problem was worm Drake. [SPEAKER_00]: college film about everything that Aramon showed him and turns it into his USC film school project. [SPEAKER_00]: And just shows it to everyone. [SPEAKER_03]: It Aramon at this moment sees worm Drake walking out the speak and he's excited. [SPEAKER_03]: Like great. [SPEAKER_03]: This guy's going to defend us. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's dead. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's also thinks he's like one of his good friends and he's made all these to him. [SPEAKER_00]: Great points of psychics are useful. [SPEAKER_00]: Psychics can defend the populace. [SPEAKER_00]: We can defend ourselves from psychics with psychics. [SPEAKER_00]: He's almost like one of the, he wants to show. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to let us know what's going on that way. [SPEAKER_00]: We can for again, we can fortify ourselves. [SPEAKER_00]: We can defend the Imperium against other psychics and ourselves by knowledge. [SPEAKER_00]: So he thinks he's going to show up and go, you know, Arama made this forty seven point plan and gave me all these videos. [SPEAKER_03]: I couldn't hear it anymore. [SPEAKER_03]: He's fantastic. [SPEAKER_03]: Like we should have instead. [SPEAKER_03]: He called him the severs. [SPEAKER_03]: He called them warlocks. [SPEAKER_03]: He said that they were a danger to humanity. [SPEAKER_00]: And if I tell he called him not human. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he just got an RM on his just. [SPEAKER_03]: At this day, more sad than anything else watching this happen. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'd say that he's got some, you know, burning. [SPEAKER_00]: That's going to show up later. [SPEAKER_03]: Vengeance is coming. [SPEAKER_03]: So at the end of the meeting, you know, [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, if you were someone this meeting is, it's really a bunch of people bitching to the emperor. [SPEAKER_03]: And then Magnus of course gets up and explains, it makes his point, I don't care, just don't. [SPEAKER_03]: They all, they make their point, but even the, even the librarians, the leaders get up and say, look, these are all things we did that was good. [SPEAKER_03]: But the end of it, the emperor gets up and says, yeah, oversamplifies an issue. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're done. [SPEAKER_03]: The legions are going to expand their librarians and primarx with sucky powers are never to use them again. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, two things on this. [SPEAKER_03]: One, anyone who's covered, listen to our cast, the horse heresy, or rather horse heresy, you realize they don't do this. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: When the loyalists, I mean, there's a whole section in the siege of terror where the white scars use their quote unquote. [SPEAKER_03]: They just renamed them. [SPEAKER_03]: That's all they did. [SPEAKER_03]: They kept all the same librarians and gave them a new name. [SPEAKER_03]: I think they were the hell they call them, like, stormcasters or whatever. [SPEAKER_00]: They've been the room priest. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: They're the hardest thing. [SPEAKER_03]: The elements. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: There's what everyone does this, but anyway, he does, but he does ban them. [SPEAKER_03]: And so, and primarily attacking the primarxibility to use like he powers, was that this stage most is swing on magnets, because I think he's okay with saying what's flying. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's not even just flying. [SPEAKER_00]: He's also pretty cock. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, sure. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's also pretty cock. [SPEAKER_03]: So these rules are more. [SPEAKER_00]: He literally just said Magnus stop doing stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it just became guidelines. [SPEAKER_03]: It was the pirate code because these are guidelines. [SPEAKER_03]: So, Magnus then pulls his whole leash together after so they all, they all leave. [SPEAKER_03]: He pulls the leash together. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is it, Ken, I'm, I gotta get my chain to get my job. [SPEAKER_00]: Magnus thinks he's giving his son's truths, but all he's to keep doing is going, hey man, remember the last time we had a heart to heart? [SPEAKER_00]: I just want you to know that I know is lying the whole time before then, and then since then I've also been lying wildly to you, nonstop. [SPEAKER_03]: Right, but here's some here's some potential truth. [SPEAKER_03]: And so he explains to his legend about warp. [SPEAKER_03]: He knows about the chaos entities. [SPEAKER_03]: And he tells him that there's no way on earth of thousands of newspapers and psychic powers. [SPEAKER_03]: But we're going to have to keep it a secret. [SPEAKER_03]: More importantly, he decides that they need to take all of their knowledge needs to be preserved. [SPEAKER_03]: Because what Magnus did realize is that at some point, someone's income knocking on their door saying, burn all this heritage crap you got. [SPEAKER_03]: So Magnus instructs all of them to put together all of their known information into the book of Magnus. [SPEAKER_03]: Because sometimes GW can just name it easily. [SPEAKER_00]: They effectively make a bunch of tones of magic, though. [SPEAKER_00]: They have individual tones. [SPEAKER_00]: These all become a compilation, basically, of short magic stories, but all of these, and we'll get into cabals. [SPEAKER_03]: And it can also tell what year a story was written, because at some point we go from Tom to iPads. [SPEAKER_03]: It does happen. [SPEAKER_03]: If you read through GW like the books, as we get into like stuff that was written post-twenty, ten, all of them tablets come into play. [SPEAKER_03]: I've noticed this. [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway. [SPEAKER_03]: So this now, this pushes our mind effectively over the edge. [SPEAKER_00]: Why, like, he doesn't go over the edge. [SPEAKER_03]: This is the form. [SPEAKER_03]: This is, yeah, this is his abadan moment. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he gets, he gets his, his suit. [SPEAKER_00]: He gets his fly suit and he jumps off the cliff. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he is his best friend betrayed him. [SPEAKER_03]: The Emperor has betrayed him. [SPEAKER_03]: His primal has been lying to him, nuts up. [SPEAKER_03]: Effectively, he realized the entirety of the imperial mankind is against him, but moreover, he is his legion. [SPEAKER_03]: As much as we talk, we raise words, Araman, a lot is him. [SPEAKER_03]: He does love his legion. [SPEAKER_00]: He is really, are getting singled out. [SPEAKER_00]: They're getting censured last and last. [SPEAKER_03]: It's so did the word bears, but they were weird. [SPEAKER_00]: They also discerned. [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, but they just so armament comes as realization as Brad was just saying that the Magnus is still giving the future. [SPEAKER_03]: He's known about this crap the whole time. [SPEAKER_03]: He also realizes that Magnus is speaking with these chaos gods. [SPEAKER_03]: It's just it's too obvious and that Magnus never cured the flesh curse but made a deal with these gods to do something. [SPEAKER_03]: Magnus are not effectively just figures all of it out, but he also keys in that the emperor is just as bad. [SPEAKER_00]: This is a huge deal. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: He's the emperor has turned his back. [SPEAKER_03]: And they fought for him. [SPEAKER_03]: They died for him. [SPEAKER_03]: And now he just turned his back on them for doing the thing that he made them to do. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's, he's just telling them, like, I don't care. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, if you knew what was the whole time, and again, he goes back to, you know, could you have just saved my brother? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, in the answer was, yeah, probably if I would have taken eight minutes out of my day. [SPEAKER_03]: just like, yeah, I couldn't be as I just removed that whole curse from him. [SPEAKER_03]: It made it not not an issue. [SPEAKER_03]: What did you do it? [SPEAKER_00]: Man, I had another ship that I was doing. [SPEAKER_03]: The other one too is he reaches this element of it, usher them with his legion, in that he views a thousand songs as an independent entity, and the other nineteen legions, although at this point it's seventeen, because now they'll do have been redacted, have no, we cannot trust them, and we should be ready to fight them at any time. [SPEAKER_03]: This is pretty heresy, by the way. [SPEAKER_03]: not very pretty heresy but it's pretty heresy because now we'll dive into the heresy element. [SPEAKER_03]: How do we tell this stupid story of Magnus and trying to save Horace but we're doing so this is where you still get them the Magnus did nothing wrong even though he did tons of stuff wrong. [SPEAKER_03]: Was the first time he did nothing wrong? [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Magnus confides an airman. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he actually tells his what ends up being. [SPEAKER_03]: Armand, a man, a bunch of. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, the highest level. [SPEAKER_00]: He tells them that they're going to save Horace. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not real specific on saving Horace. [SPEAKER_00]: He's just Horace is being corrupted. [SPEAKER_03]: They're going to, you know, we're near Horace, by the way. [SPEAKER_03]: They're all just hanging on the prospering. [SPEAKER_00]: And then this is Guam. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they were so far away from that. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: The part of Horace's plan was to send the space wolves to prosper, because it's so far away. [SPEAKER_00]: So Magnus decides that he's going to channel his powers. [SPEAKER_00]: Pierce the warp. [SPEAKER_00]: First off, they want to talk to Horace, basically, which doesn't go well. [SPEAKER_00]: But then they're going to tell the Emperor. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, no, no, no. [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: So what they're going to do is they're going to channel all the powers and they're going to use this to talk to Horace. [SPEAKER_03]: But what Magnus confides in in these hikers is, I need you to protect me while I do this because the challenge for Horace is, like, the challenge for Magnus is that there are, if he goes into the warp to go talk to Horace's soul, he's now putting himself right next to all of the demons. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's also demon gods. [SPEAKER_00]: And they're still kind of in their infancy and what they're doing. [SPEAKER_00]: So he is just [SPEAKER_00]: Pures so lock-in through the warp. [SPEAKER_03]: So, Raman and them are all there, and they do, they protect Magnus through this, but as we've discussed, Horus just doesn't want to listen to Magnus and goes, yeah, I'm gonna take all the power thing. [SPEAKER_03]: They come out of it and Magnus has to tell them all what happened, which is, hey, it didn't work. [SPEAKER_03]: Because there's some other thing going on there, but he wasn't clear. [SPEAKER_03]: So again, Raman has this moment of like, this man is lying to me. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he, he basically runs blind for a while and he does all these things and then he kind of just tells him. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Horace said, no, and it doesn't say anything else. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, I feel like so many other things happen right now. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, not not much. [SPEAKER_03]: Armand does this weird little side thing here, where as we said, he was a pre-cog. [SPEAKER_03]: So he grabs other pre-cogs and grabs basically a super pre-cog. [SPEAKER_03]: And they show up with the power of this pre-cog. [SPEAKER_03]: And Armand learns that he bits a vision of the future of the space wolves coming to kill a thousand sons. [SPEAKER_03]: He knows this is coming. [SPEAKER_00]: He sees the future of prosperity, burning, by the way, good pictures. [SPEAKER_03]: There's pictures here. [SPEAKER_03]: Goes to Magnus with it. [SPEAKER_03]: Magnus says you're crazy. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what you're talking about. [SPEAKER_03]: The next thing that comes up again is now Magnus failed to convince Horace to stay loyal and decides he needs to tell his dad. [SPEAKER_03]: And his dad isn't picking up the phone. [SPEAKER_00]: So he uses combined Cobal power to pierce through the psychic defenses of the Emperor who was trying to create his own web way. [SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, he was never going to succeed. [SPEAKER_00]: We already had Vulkan talk about this, but effectively what happens is Magnus pierces through with the help of his brothers. [SPEAKER_00]: And in doing so, he basically just goes, oh my bad, and I just let all of the demons into terror in the basement. [SPEAKER_03]: The Emperor is pretty furious. [SPEAKER_03]: I run the same time, though, Aramon uses this moment to learn. [SPEAKER_03]: Because he's, we think he backs off this. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, because he's tied into Magnus' brain while he's piercing the work. [SPEAKER_03]: So first, Aramon learns about the existence of demons. [SPEAKER_03]: but he also starts peering into the truth of the warp. [SPEAKER_03]: And he starts getting, it's not clean how much information he really gets. [SPEAKER_00]: He sees the future of the past and everything else. [SPEAKER_00]: He just sees like a, he does Dr. Manhattan style. [SPEAKER_00]: He sees all time at the same time. [SPEAKER_00]: And then he learns about the existence of demons. [SPEAKER_00]: He also learns that Magnus was full of shit. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And has been making deals this whole time. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, making shitty deals. [SPEAKER_00]: Arama realizes it's right away. [SPEAKER_00]: that and we're going to talk about Magnus' things that he does because he's trying to weasel his way out of contracts by effectively giving himself killed. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, which is the dumbest shit ever, but Airmont sees all of this at the same time. [SPEAKER_00]: Does he understand everything? [SPEAKER_00]: No, because you just got hit by all of the knowledge of creation real quick and you're like, how the matter of an instant? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, one thing he does see, which is fortunate, but is mega shielding them from seeing outside of Prospero. [SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't really understand what's going on, but it understands that for some reason their their abilities as pre-cogs is limited to just Prospero. [SPEAKER_03]: The reason that this is going on is Brad alluded to a second ago, Magnus knows that Lehman's coming. [SPEAKER_03]: As we discussed before, the emperor gets obviously kind of pissed at Magnus doesn't believe that Horace has turned on him and sends Lehman Ross to go have an unpleasant chat with Magnus. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, Horace also intercepts this and turns it from chat to destroy the thousand sons whole world [SPEAKER_00]: and all of them. [SPEAKER_03]: Just kill everyone and Lehman's kind of on team. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's a better interpretation. [SPEAKER_00]: And Lehman should have known better, but he's already so pissy with them. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, this sounds like a great. [SPEAKER_03]: That's a much better interpretation. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like I kind of was hoping that was going to be the interpretation. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm on my way. [SPEAKER_00]: Magnus knows this is happening. [SPEAKER_00]: Magnus is trying. [SPEAKER_00]: Magnus is going full email right now. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He said he feels that he's been manipulated because he has been even though he was trying to be the manipulator. [SPEAKER_00]: He said that his dad was mean to him. [SPEAKER_00]: He said that he's been literally puppeted his whole life. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And he hasn't agreement basically that [SPEAKER_00]: The entire Legion's going to come to Zech, follow and everything else. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, well, best way to get out of this. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll just let everybody kill me. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, he or it was his place plan was to allow. [SPEAKER_03]: the Space Wolves to kill all the thousands of sons and in doing some, including himself, Zimch wouldn't get his deal. [SPEAKER_03]: What a stupid idea. [SPEAKER_00]: So, also, Araman, not really dealt with that. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, no one knows this. [SPEAKER_03]: So, the assault begins, and so the Space Wolves, because of Magnus, arrive in orbit and no one, the thousands of sons don't even see them. [SPEAKER_03]: The thousands aren't even aware there, they're there until the bombardment begins. [SPEAKER_03]: The thousands of sons, of course, [SPEAKER_03]: Grab guns. [SPEAKER_03]: All right. [SPEAKER_03]: Let's go defend ourselves. [SPEAKER_03]: And Magnus is telling them, no, don't fight back. [SPEAKER_03]: It's okay. [SPEAKER_03]: Don't fight back. [SPEAKER_03]: And Araman just says screw you. [SPEAKER_03]: And Araman leads the Legion out to go and fight the space walls. [SPEAKER_03]: one of my more enjoyable parts of this is that as Armant leads his legion out, he senses worm Drake is actually on one of the ships and just says, well, this is time and does something I find super cool. [SPEAKER_03]: The him and worm Drake have a battle of the mines, which he wrecks him like that, wrecks him. [SPEAKER_03]: The worm Drake has no play here. [SPEAKER_03]: He gets in the worm Drake's mind and he gives worm Drake all the knowledge. [SPEAKER_03]: He shows him how he sees the future. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He says that he shows him how the Imperians going to collapse. [SPEAKER_03]: horse is going to do this. [SPEAKER_03]: All these things to make Worm Drake see why he should be on the side of our mind. [SPEAKER_03]: And as soon as Worm Drake gets information, he then takes Worm Drake's soul and gives it to chaos and lets them feast on his soul for eternity because he wanted to hurt that much more. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Super badass. [SPEAKER_03]: Round this time, Magnus just can't watch his legion suffer anymore and goes out to fight Lehman, which we've discovered that wasn't going to go well. [SPEAKER_03]: But as before he goes out there, he pulls Arm on a side and gives him the book of Magnus, which is the ultimate tone of knowledge. [SPEAKER_03]: This is, I'm foreshadowing. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to be honest with you. [SPEAKER_03]: One episode ahead here is why this matters. [SPEAKER_03]: But notice, Arm on has the book. [SPEAKER_03]: That's important. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: Kind of important. [SPEAKER_03]: Magnus gets wrecked. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he did break his back over his name. [SPEAKER_03]: He over his day by Lehman. [SPEAKER_00]: And then he's screw you man. [SPEAKER_00]: This is why I like Aaron on so much more than I like back. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna run. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't care. [SPEAKER_00]: Because in the end, Magnus, by the way, is wildly popular. [SPEAKER_00]: Or wildly powerful and popular. [SPEAKER_00]: But he just out of nowhere just is like, okay, with dying, I'm just gonna do this and Zee just like, come on. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: That's his whole sales pitch. [SPEAKER_03]: So you don't have to do this and Magnus goes, you're right and immediately in a blink, all of the thousand songs. [SPEAKER_03]: The entire world. [SPEAKER_03]: The entire world disappears into the warp. [SPEAKER_00]: and becomes the plan of the sorcerers. [SPEAKER_00]: He just basically pulls it off and they're all. [SPEAKER_00]: Magnus becomes a demon prince. [SPEAKER_00]: The thousand sons are now completely tied period, irrecrably, directly from two zing. [SPEAKER_00]: And he solved nothing, but [SPEAKER_00]: getting his head kicked in and letting a lot of people die. [SPEAKER_03]: Nothing has changed. [SPEAKER_03]: The prophecy has been fulfilled. [SPEAKER_03]: Yep. [SPEAKER_03]: So they hear there. [SPEAKER_03]: And from there, we're going to stop because the next chunk is going to be Raman's, they have even fallen. [SPEAKER_03]: His rise, like something, we can do him in two. [SPEAKER_03]: About and don't think we can do him in two. [SPEAKER_03]: So on our next cast, we're going to go through and we're going to cover the rise of Raman. [SPEAKER_03]: I called the individual under the powers of chaos. [SPEAKER_03]: But as a risk to recap, so if he's following along the whole episode, I don't really was not a bad person at this point. [SPEAKER_03]: He is a very, you know, uh, he's conflicted. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's conflicted, but he's conflicted. [SPEAKER_00]: He does have a lot of hate in his heart. [SPEAKER_00]: He's actually will do it. [SPEAKER_00]: Star Wars style. [SPEAKER_00]: He has a lot of [SPEAKER_03]: fear in his heart. [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I would say to you. [SPEAKER_03]: He's just, he was trying to do good. [SPEAKER_03]: He's betrayed by everyone. [SPEAKER_03]: He trusted. [SPEAKER_03]: And he's now sitting in the immaterial with his entire lesion, because the prime market betrayed him now with his soul being given to a chaos God. [SPEAKER_03]: So he's pretty pissed off. [SPEAKER_03]: And next week, we'll kind of conclude this story and take us up to write about tenth edition. [SPEAKER_03]: But with that, as always, please go to leave us a positive review on Spotify, just positive. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm joining the discord page. [SPEAKER_03]: We're really this interaction in discord really is fantastic. [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe people. [SPEAKER_03]: We now have a meme page. [SPEAKER_03]: People are showing off their artwork. [SPEAKER_03]: We're discussing past and potentially future episodes. [SPEAKER_03]: It's become a really great repository and something that gives Brad and I a lot of joy during the day as our phones ding. [SPEAKER_03]: And we get, ooh, notification on discord. [SPEAKER_00]: He's a candy. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: So with that, I'm John Varsai. [SPEAKER_03]: It's Brad Jester. [SPEAKER_03]: See you guys next week. [UNKNOWN]: you
