Jeff and Elliotte get into a heated debate about how slashing penalties are called thanks to the Dylan Samberg and John Tavares incident (9:11) and the fellas talk about the boarding penalty that saw Tyler Myers ejected from the game after a questionable video review (21:22). Next, they touch on Brendan Gallagher's 5 game suspension for elbowing Adam Pelech, and how important appeals have become this season (29:05). The guys get into David Jiricek's public frustrations in Columbus surrounding his playing time and demotion to the AHL (34:47), discuss how St. Louis has crawled their way back into the playoff race (44:19), and focus on the slumping LA Kings (47:20).
