E113 - HELEN GORMAN: Masters Swimming

Propulsion Swimming Podcast

On this week's Propulsion Swimming Podcast, ahead of the British Masters Championship return to Aberdeen, we speak to Helen Gorman.

Helen is the holder of numerous British records and a world record in her age group, as well as being World Champion in 4 events following the FINA World Masters Championships 2019 in Gwangju! Having originally swam at Nova with Bill Furniss, she doesn't follow the regular masters swimmer as she trains & races mostly with kids at the City of Cardiff Swimming Club.

We talk about why Masters Swimming can be so rewarding, how to get involved, and what can be done to promote more of the amazing stories within Masters Swimming! We also discuss why this is the perfect year to get racing if you have been thinking of getting back into the Swimming Pool!!

Who else thinks we should target competing at Masters Nationals in Sheffield later this year!
