<v Speaker 1>Mhm WW Podcasts. Welcome to an episode here with Rocket
<v Speaker 1>Sea and their Gardner and today we're just gonna We're
<v Speaker 1>just gonna go with it. It's been a while since
<v Speaker 1>we've been able to really link up. A lot of
<v Speaker 1>changes have gone have gone on in both of our lives,
<v Speaker 1>and you know, both of our foundations were rocked in
<v Speaker 1>one way or another, and we're just happy that tonight
<v Speaker 1>we're able to not only be here with y'all, but
<v Speaker 1>be here with each other. So, Gardner, how have you been?
<v Speaker 1>Tell me what's going on and what have you seen
<v Speaker 1>lately and wrestling?
<v Speaker 2>Well, I've been okay, and you know I've gone through
<v Speaker 2>a lot as you have also, and people don't know
<v Speaker 2>about that. We don't really want to actually embrace people
<v Speaker 2>with our lives, our personal lives. However, I will say
<v Speaker 2>that it has been trying over the summer, but everything's okay.
<v Speaker 2>And I miss working with you, Rocky, and I miss
<v Speaker 2>working with you one on one. So this is going
<v Speaker 2>to be a great day for us to do something.
<v Speaker 2>Life is good, you know, it's it's getting cooler here
<v Speaker 2>in Littleville. It's about a little I want to say,
<v Speaker 2>somewhere around sixty degrees today and uh, well this evening
<v Speaker 2>and it feels great and I just kind of embrace
<v Speaker 2>that cooler weather and just you know, trying to look
<v Speaker 2>forward to doing like better things. But as far as
<v Speaker 2>wrestling goes, we have a lot to discuss because wrestling
<v Speaker 2>is kind of strange these days, so we can have
<v Speaker 2>a little bit of fun with this.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and before we actually talk about what's going on
<v Speaker 1>and today's wrestling, I just want to talk about what
<v Speaker 1>happened on this day in wrestling history, today being September eleventh,
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty four. This is Pertjar Wrestling Dot. On this
<v Speaker 1>day in September eleventh, the first thing on the list
<v Speaker 1>is WW RAW and w c W Nitro went heads
<v Speaker 1>ahead for the first time, and the infamous Monday Night
<v Speaker 1>Wars that was the first thing on the list in
<v Speaker 1>ninety seven. On September eleventh, we had wrestled Fest fifty
<v Speaker 1>years of Funk and the year two thousand, WW Commissioner
<v Speaker 1>mcfoley began the investigation of who went over Stone coach
<v Speaker 1>Steve Aston. So yeah, and also on the year two thousand,
<v Speaker 1>wedding bells were in the air when on Nitro David
<v Speaker 1>Flair was set to marry Stacey Kilger. I never saw
<v Speaker 1>that one two thousand and one was a taping a
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown held here in Houston, Texas. It was canceled with
<v Speaker 1>the aftermath of the infamous Terrist attack, which because of
<v Speaker 1>today ninety eleventh, So that was a SmackDown that was canceled.
<v Speaker 1>And Lilian Garcia saying America's beautiful to kick off w
<v Speaker 1>off for Forgiven and Madison Square Garden and this was
<v Speaker 1>the fifth anniversary of ninet eleven in two thousand and six.
<v Speaker 1>So a few things. Twenty fourteen NXT Presents Takeover and
<v Speaker 1>then let's see what else is here? Anything else good
<v Speaker 1>on the list? Get a little closer to twenty sixteen. Nope,
<v Speaker 1>that's about it. So a few things from today, but
<v Speaker 1>moving on. You said that there was a a weird time,
<v Speaker 1>a weird time that we're going through. I feel like
<v Speaker 1>I'm just going through weird time in life too. But
<v Speaker 1>what is catching your eye these days as a gardener?
<v Speaker 2>Well, right now in wrestling, we are having somewhat of
<v Speaker 2>a renaissance and somewhat of a building, a rebuilding. But
<v Speaker 2>all these stars that they thought there were going to
<v Speaker 2>be big a few years ago are faltering. So you
<v Speaker 2>look at like your street profits they're doing what they're
<v Speaker 2>they're back in NXT doing things. You look at you know,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, SHANEA. Basler should have been something bigger than
<v Speaker 2>she is, and she's floundering. And I don't mean that
<v Speaker 2>in a bad way. And Shane, if you're listening, please
<v Speaker 2>don't beat my ass. But I'm looking at like the
<v Speaker 2>product as a whole. First of all, we came off
<v Speaker 2>a great pay per view for and p l E
<v Speaker 2>whatever you want to call it. You still have to
<v Speaker 2>pay for it, you still have to be for it.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm looking at like, you know, Punk versus McIntyre
<v Speaker 2>was great, and I think that's going to be a
<v Speaker 2>great series, and that's amazing. But I'm also looking at, Okay,
<v Speaker 2>do we really need Gunther going against sammy' zay do?
<v Speaker 2>What's going on here? Okay, take take me back to
<v Speaker 2>earth here.
<v Speaker 1>Well, we're at the end of the year and Sammy
<v Speaker 1>was the last guy to be Gunther, so that one
<v Speaker 1>kind of makes the most sense to be the first
<v Speaker 1>Chalatenger to get us through this month until we get
<v Speaker 1>into you know, last quarter of the year. But I
<v Speaker 1>know you kind of feel like you're seeing the same
<v Speaker 1>program again, but there's a different title involved this time, right,
<v Speaker 1>but this time it's time for a Gunter to go over.
<v Speaker 1>It's just unfortunately Sammy is going to be the first
<v Speaker 1>epistone for Gunther's rain.
<v Speaker 3>Absolutely, and it's just.
<v Speaker 2>There's so much more that you could build on this,
<v Speaker 2>so much more that you could build on this. I
<v Speaker 2>just don't think that it has the same attraction that
<v Speaker 2>SmackDown does with the bloodline thing. So we're looking at
<v Speaker 2>a very weak storyline. And I get the fact that
<v Speaker 2>you know Canada, Brett Harror, sam A Zame's Canadian and
<v Speaker 2>every anything else, and I just don't I don't get
<v Speaker 2>like how this is going to really put eyeballs on
<v Speaker 2>any kind of p l.
<v Speaker 1>For the for the people out there who who expect
<v Speaker 1>gun there and want to see him beat Sammy. There
<v Speaker 1>is a niche crowd there, so there's it may not
<v Speaker 1>be a high percentage of the universe, but people want
<v Speaker 1>to see it, right people or people want to see
<v Speaker 1>that we get past it to we can get to
<v Speaker 1>the program that we're waiting for, which you know, we're
<v Speaker 1>yet to see who they're gonna put in front of them.
<v Speaker 1>That's gonna make us, like you say, sell the tickets
<v Speaker 1>and be that main event. So or p l E
<v Speaker 1>worthy match? What is our next PLD Let's see, let's
<v Speaker 1>get the list for the rest of the year.
<v Speaker 3>Is a Bad Blood Baby October?
<v Speaker 1>Yes? Right, So I'd.
<v Speaker 2>Still stick with Halloween Havoc because I think they own
<v Speaker 2>the rights to it and it'd be more fun, you know,
<v Speaker 2>especially with if you're going to blow off a pay
<v Speaker 2>per view or pl E whatever you want to call it,
<v Speaker 2>at least have everybody dress up and be goofy a
<v Speaker 2>little bit, not like aw goofy, but just goofy.
<v Speaker 1>Well, they used to have it over there on NXT,
<v Speaker 1>so it's still alive. It's just not on a a stadium.
<v Speaker 1>It's just in a an X ten arena performance arena.
<v Speaker 1>Let's see.
<v Speaker 3>So my next question for you is.
<v Speaker 2>Where do you see any stars being built at this point?
<v Speaker 2>Because we have Brown Breaker, who he can run the ropes,
<v Speaker 2>he can do everything else, but you don't really have
<v Speaker 2>a viable.
<v Speaker 3>Person to go against him.
<v Speaker 2>And we don't have anybody that is really going to
<v Speaker 2>go against Damian Priest because they don't know what to
<v Speaker 2>do with him. So there's two lost causes right there
<v Speaker 2>that are in very high potential situations.
<v Speaker 3>So what do we do?
<v Speaker 1>You know, that's a good question because there's so much
<v Speaker 1>talent wrapped up in these factions and these multi people's storylines,
<v Speaker 1>and they are really focusing on the new talent. There's
<v Speaker 1>some new salite hanging around in NXC that that may
<v Speaker 1>maybe they could come up in a few years. You guys,
<v Speaker 1>you know, you're Ethan Pages and how you got about
<v Speaker 1>my family. You got a big guy there and him,
<v Speaker 1>but these guys are still a few years away from
<v Speaker 1>coming up. And then even even that, you know, to
<v Speaker 1>make an impact, you're broad there. They could build a
<v Speaker 1>little bit more with dragging Off. If you've seen dragon
<v Speaker 1>Off performing enough in the NXC, you believe that he's believable.
<v Speaker 1>Uh he did go to Hoto. Yeah, he's definitely believable.
<v Speaker 1>It's very unfortunate that I feel like Ko is a
<v Speaker 1>triple h guy, but it's still fortunate that he's been
<v Speaker 1>with seven plus years without it without a singles gold
<v Speaker 1>and I don't I don't know. I really would like
<v Speaker 1>to know what that's about. Uh, does see one of
<v Speaker 1>them best who doesn't want to go and just wants
<v Speaker 1>to help keep putting over guyser or And I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>is it just me or does Kevin is just seem
<v Speaker 1>like going through the motions nothing. I know, he's breaking
<v Speaker 1>the fourth wall a lot, and he's you know, trying
<v Speaker 1>to be mad on all this, but I don't. I
<v Speaker 1>just I feel like his heart's not in it. And
<v Speaker 1>in the ring he's just I mean, they're still solid matches.
<v Speaker 1>They're not five star matches, but it's still solid. But
<v Speaker 1>he was a guy that I thought they would at
<v Speaker 1>least give another chance, you know, and then he's been
<v Speaker 1>used for just to put over these other guys, you know,
<v Speaker 1>like Cody and Roman over and over.
<v Speaker 2>Let me explain something about Kevin Owens, Kevin Steen. That's
<v Speaker 2>the way I was introduced to him, like watching Ring
<v Speaker 2>of Honor and p w G and all those offshoots.
<v Speaker 2>If he didn't want it, he wouldn't be in shape.
<v Speaker 2>He's in the best shape of his life. There's something
<v Speaker 2>more in the plans for him. Now it might be
<v Speaker 2>tag teams, whatever else, but the point is he has
<v Speaker 2>something more build into what they're doing for a storyline
<v Speaker 2>for him.
<v Speaker 3>But it's just not main event.
<v Speaker 2>It's not main event, and it's probably going to be
<v Speaker 2>like a reuniting with sammy'sz Ay, which was I don't
<v Speaker 2>understand why you did such like a big reuniting to
<v Speaker 2>just end it in six months or something.
<v Speaker 3>Like that earlier. So I think that.
<v Speaker 2>Kevin Owens, he's going to be in the upper upper card,
<v Speaker 2>but he's not going to be winning anything anytime soon.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, what do you think?
<v Speaker 1>No, I think you're right, and he's gonna hang around
<v Speaker 1>and and then we'll just basically just just hang around there.
<v Speaker 1>You know, you have these other talents where I guess
<v Speaker 1>you know, Nix sees the foundation where they're building, right,
<v Speaker 1>So we do have a next crop of people who
<v Speaker 1>who can steer the ship and carry us into into
<v Speaker 1>the later part of the decade. You know, you got
<v Speaker 1>names like Ethan page In, Roxanne Perez, Colonel Jordan and
<v Speaker 1>Oba family. Got a lot of young guys here, the
<v Speaker 1>guys on on the main roster that's still being underutilized.
<v Speaker 1>You know, Finn Balor, you know, Len Knights finally made
<v Speaker 1>the championship tier, so he's gonna hang around there. We'll
<v Speaker 1>know if he'll ever get to the championship tier. You know,
<v Speaker 1>I'm just right, like you say, it's weird right now
<v Speaker 1>because I feel like our big stars are are gonna
<v Speaker 1>Rollman on his schedule. For example, He's one of our
<v Speaker 1>biggest stars, but he's you know, on that part time schedule.
<v Speaker 1>So who is our full time guy? I know we have,
<v Speaker 1>of course we have Cody, but there's not enough younger talent.
<v Speaker 1>These guys are older. There's not enough younger talent that
<v Speaker 1>are I don't see the next gun through. I don't
<v Speaker 1>see the next Seth or the next Roman. Like I'm
<v Speaker 1>looking up and down the roster right now as I'm talking.
<v Speaker 1>I see some guys that can hold her for a while.
<v Speaker 1>Jay's looking hold her for a while there. He could
<v Speaker 1>put some goat on him if they would do something
<v Speaker 1>with Bron break up by Bron break. I'm sorry, Bronson Reid.
<v Speaker 1>He's had some good vignettes over the past couple of
<v Speaker 1>months here and there. It's just going up and down
<v Speaker 1>this roster. After we run out of the Bloodline story,
<v Speaker 1>after we run out of the you know, the whenever
<v Speaker 1>Punk is finally out of gas, or if Cody gets injured,
<v Speaker 1>you know, if Rowlins is still injured, like who's next,
<v Speaker 1>Like somebody's gonna have to step up, and they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have to step up fast.
<v Speaker 3>You're absolutely right.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, here's the thing, Like when they did
<v Speaker 2>the NXT to NXT two point zero and Vince only
<v Speaker 2>wanted people who were like legitimate athletes from college, brother,
<v Speaker 2>how many of those people actually succeeded checkpoint nothing?
<v Speaker 3>Very few?
<v Speaker 2>Maybe two three. When Triple H was signing indie stars
<v Speaker 2>who actually knew how to wrestle, how many of them
<v Speaker 2>made it to the main roster. Well, we have a differential. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>So seeing that, it's like funny, like these people who
<v Speaker 2>don't want to be wrestlers, but they're getting signed, they're
<v Speaker 2>getting money, like, Okay, be a wrestler. We'll give you
<v Speaker 2>one hundred thousand dollars a year to train.
<v Speaker 3>Thank you.
<v Speaker 2>One hundred thousand grand would be nice in my bank account.
<v Speaker 2>And they don't care. And that's why they suck. And
<v Speaker 2>that's why I swear of Strickland was like the best
<v Speaker 2>part of his whole because he was the only wrestler
<v Speaker 2>who was a wrestler, and everybody around him was garbage.
<v Speaker 3>And that's what it became.
<v Speaker 2>So I don't know where it's going as far as
<v Speaker 2>the future, I think that that Triple H, now that
<v Speaker 2>he is in charge, is going to go back to
<v Speaker 2>doing what he was doing and signing indie stars, probably
<v Speaker 2>being a little bit more selective.
<v Speaker 3>Than he was before.
<v Speaker 2>But he did the same thing that Vince McMahon did.
<v Speaker 3>He signed.
<v Speaker 2>A baby face and a heel from every indie whereas
<v Speaker 2>Vince signed a baby face and a heel from every
<v Speaker 2>territory and then everybody else could just be flushed down
<v Speaker 2>the toilet.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and that's the way they're going.
<v Speaker 2>It's like these people in NXT are just it's hard
<v Speaker 2>to watch because it's hard to digest because it's hard
<v Speaker 2>to incorporate, like are these people going to be here
<v Speaker 2>next week or do we even care? Or do they
<v Speaker 2>have a character? Do they have a gimmick, did they
<v Speaker 2>have anything? So that's where I am on that.
<v Speaker 1>Well, we know, you know, well, let's get to let's
<v Speaker 1>get to the contract list.
<v Speaker 4>Contracts are going to be coming up and the contracts
<v Speaker 4>that are or maybe have been extended, because this will
<v Speaker 4>give us an idea of what the landskip is.
<v Speaker 1>Going to be for the next year.
<v Speaker 4>Right because looking at the ww roster page right now,
<v Speaker 4>we'll go back to it right now, I'm looking at
<v Speaker 4>right now in WWE, there are former AEW stars that
<v Speaker 4>are champions.
<v Speaker 1>That is eating page as your NXC champion. Jay Carvey
<v Speaker 1>is a tax team champion, and of course Cody. These
<v Speaker 1>people are a Cody's not homegrown, but the other two are.
<v Speaker 1>But the fact is that they were from there.
<v Speaker 4>So who else might be jumping over that can make
<v Speaker 4>a difference and give us some more storylines and some more.
<v Speaker 1>Rivals and matches that we didn't even know that we
<v Speaker 1>won it. Now, there's gonna these first three names on
<v Speaker 1>the list. I know that you're gonna love that. They're
<v Speaker 1>probably gonna be gone or who knows of the resigned.
<v Speaker 1>So the first one through December of twenty twenty four
<v Speaker 1>of Kingston Biggie and Xavier Woods.
<v Speaker 2>Well, Biggie, I don't know why they keep re upping
<v Speaker 2>his contract. At this point, no one knows why he
<v Speaker 2>is still employed. And I this is not anything as
<v Speaker 2>a knock on him. I know he's like one of
<v Speaker 2>the strongest guys in the world, but brass tacks and
<v Speaker 2>baseball bats. He hasn't touched a ring in two and
<v Speaker 2>a half years.
<v Speaker 1>Scared.
<v Speaker 2>I think he can't do it. I think he's sick,
<v Speaker 2>like I don't want to say sick, but just.
<v Speaker 3>His body cannot take it.
<v Speaker 2>So you transition him into a backstage role.
<v Speaker 1>He's been doing the commentary for the pre shows for
<v Speaker 1>the Pels lately.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but that's basically what's going to happen to him,
<v Speaker 2>because I think that his neck just got so destroyed
<v Speaker 2>that there's nothing he can do if he could, Like, look,
<v Speaker 2>they put two years into Orton being on the shelves.
<v Speaker 2>We're looking at almost what three years.
<v Speaker 1>I believe.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, so this guy is not going to be in
<v Speaker 3>the ring again. So what do you do?
<v Speaker 2>You could re up his contract and you can make
<v Speaker 2>him a commentator, and I'm sure he'd be good commentator as.
<v Speaker 3>Long as it does the other what he like.
<v Speaker 2>And booty gigs and all that stuff. Like, yeah, his
<v Speaker 2>his best role would be a heel commentator. Okay, that's
<v Speaker 2>that's where he's gonna make his most money, just like Taz.
<v Speaker 1>Gotcha, I can see that. Yeah, all right, Moving on
<v Speaker 1>through twenty twenty four, per Fightful Report, Kevin Owens, do
<v Speaker 1>you think they're gonna resign? You think he resigns?
<v Speaker 3>What do you think obviously he's Do you think he
<v Speaker 3>gets what? Do I think he gets?
<v Speaker 2>Probably I'd say he gets probably four years of a
<v Speaker 2>million and a half a year. And he's a great promo,
<v Speaker 2>he's a great wrestler. He's getting himself way more in shape.
<v Speaker 2>That's obviously something that I pointed out earlier. But the
<v Speaker 2>point is when it comes down to Kevin Owens, He's
<v Speaker 2>got a lot left in the tank.
<v Speaker 3>There's a few people who do not. He's not.
<v Speaker 1>That's true. Kevin Owens just turned forty this year. A
<v Speaker 1>little perspective, Jesus, I feel old, and.
<v Speaker 2>Kevin is a talent that they're gonna use and then
<v Speaker 2>he's going to turn into the next Jericho and he's
<v Speaker 2>gonna put people over. I really feel like that's gonna
<v Speaker 2>be his call.
<v Speaker 1>He needs to win a championship and keep it. I
<v Speaker 1>think he needs to turn heel and be just maybe
<v Speaker 1>not even like a superhero, just like punk the eyes
<v Speaker 1>for a schoolboy pain in. Use the types to get
<v Speaker 1>some pins, use their ropes, put his feet in the
<v Speaker 1>ropes to get some pins. Behind the referees back, you know,
<v Speaker 1>little things like that. I think Kevin Owens, as likable
<v Speaker 1>as he is he could even adopt some medigareroad traits,
<v Speaker 1>and he could even cheap you know, chea light. And
<v Speaker 1>still I think he can get away with something like
<v Speaker 1>that if he wanted to say a babyface. But either way,
<v Speaker 1>I think you know they they resign up for I
<v Speaker 1>hope in another five ten years. But next this is
<v Speaker 1>probably're gonna be your favorite wrestler on the list. And
<v Speaker 1>he signed through twenty twenty five. Dumb man's.
<v Speaker 2>Just go away, just go away, worst wrestler in history.
<v Speaker 3>Worst example.
<v Speaker 1>Let's see Chap.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, he's not the great Collie, but dear lord,
<v Speaker 2>Tito Santana did it better. We've talked about this. If
<v Speaker 2>Tito Santana could do it better than you, Tito Santana
<v Speaker 2>should have been the world champion, and he could do
<v Speaker 2>it better than the miss in every way.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I don't want to get down a rabbit hole.
<v Speaker 1>Dragon lead through twenty twenty five, and Chad Gable through
<v Speaker 1>June of twenty seven, as well as Angel Garza and
<v Speaker 1>then until late twenty twenty seven per Fight Full Report,
<v Speaker 1>the good brothers Carl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
<v Speaker 3>All right, so let's take it one by one.
<v Speaker 1>Hit me first Okay Chad Gable through twenty twenty seven.
<v Speaker 2>Chad Gable will never have the stank of being shorty
<v Speaker 2>g washed off of him, just like Shuinsey Nakamura could
<v Speaker 2>never have the stank of losing fairly to gender mahal.
<v Speaker 1>Okay Andel Garza, Yeah he did. Garza, he's in Delgada
<v Speaker 1>Fantasmo with Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>No, No, Gars is good. Gars is good. Just sign them,
<v Speaker 3>work with him. I have no problem with that.
<v Speaker 1>Good brothers, both of them through late twenty twenty seven.
<v Speaker 3>What do they mean anymore?
<v Speaker 1>That's we have three years of them.
<v Speaker 3>I mean they're what do they mean? So I think
<v Speaker 3>it's going to be more.
<v Speaker 2>Go down to NXT and help people and teach people
<v Speaker 2>to be tag teams. But do you realize how many
<v Speaker 2>members of the Bullet Club are actually in WWE at
<v Speaker 2>this point?
<v Speaker 1>Only because you pointed it out, but I'm sure the
<v Speaker 1>listeners don't know.
<v Speaker 3>You tell them, I don't have the number on me.
<v Speaker 3>But we have a j we have thin, we have the.
<v Speaker 2>Good Brothers, Tonga, Tonga, tom Aloya. We have so many
<v Speaker 2>people that are there there and.
<v Speaker 1>It's just like Kickeoloa has been signed.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, Hickeoloa.
<v Speaker 1>He's there, So.
<v Speaker 2>I kind of see that that could be something different
<v Speaker 2>and interesting, like fantasy booking would be reform the Bullet
<v Speaker 2>Club and just do it all right, and go against
<v Speaker 2>the bloodline or the Judgment Day whatever whatever you want.
<v Speaker 2>You know, whatever your dish of rice is gonna.
<v Speaker 1>Be, that might work. Gonna would have to break away
<v Speaker 1>Finn from Judgment Day if he's gonna originate. But a
<v Speaker 1>lot of strings there to be pulled. All right, Let's
<v Speaker 1>move on to this next two family members. Through late
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty seven, we got Ray mystereo until late twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty eight, Dominic mystereo.
<v Speaker 3>Mm hmmm mm hm. So Ray needs to retire.
<v Speaker 1>Legend contract of course, hall of Fame.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, because his body is not
<v Speaker 2>going to put up much more. Of course, Dominic's sign.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, of course they're making Dominic's making millions.
<v Speaker 1>Of dollars, so it just didn't merch.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I mean, and that's.
<v Speaker 2>His his basic is so much more than you and
<v Speaker 2>I make every day. Come on, So that's just one
<v Speaker 2>of those deals, bro. But yeah, Ray, I want to
<v Speaker 2>see Ray go out in.
<v Speaker 3>A good match.
<v Speaker 2>I want to see Ray have like the best match
<v Speaker 2>of his life, honestly, like the person he should be wrestling.
<v Speaker 2>It's a person he can't wrestle because he's too broken
<v Speaker 2>out as conan.
<v Speaker 1>And you don't think they send Ray out on his
<v Speaker 1>knees two Dominic. No, But if Dominick somehow, somehow turns
<v Speaker 1>babyface and they reunite and then raised like sun, I
<v Speaker 1>want to rescue my last match, And then Dominic wins
<v Speaker 1>finally fair and square with no kind of outside interference,
<v Speaker 1>has a babyface, sends them off good feeling hugs and
<v Speaker 1>kisses and prefetti and everything by thank you very mysterio.
<v Speaker 3>But how do you do it? What's the finish?
<v Speaker 2>So Dominic his finish is the frog splash? Yep, So
<v Speaker 2>he has to finish off Ray with something like the
<v Speaker 2>six one nine or something like that.
<v Speaker 1>Instead of doing when Ray jumps off, he does that,
<v Speaker 1>he tucks his hands behind his body and just a splash.
<v Speaker 1>So instead of dom doing the actual frog splash, and
<v Speaker 1>maybe he does not, or he would have to do
<v Speaker 1>the Eddie salute, but then he would he wouldn't do
<v Speaker 1>the frog slash, he would do the three mysterial splash.
<v Speaker 1>He'd or just a just a six one nine the
<v Speaker 1>way Ray used to do.
<v Speaker 3>The A spectacle. Yeah, I have to look at it
<v Speaker 3>a little bit more.
<v Speaker 1>You have to have Mom's sister ringside and his uh
<v Speaker 1>like his actual wife and yeah, but anyway, it's just
<v Speaker 1>one way to go. But because we know those guys
<v Speaker 1>are gonna be around for I mean even if Ray's
<v Speaker 1>just backstage or just with what the company doing whatever,
<v Speaker 1>podcasts and stuff for the video game, advertising this that
<v Speaker 1>and things like that.
<v Speaker 5>So I don't know, we will see, all right, where
<v Speaker 5>are we at next on this list that I lost
<v Speaker 5>because I was looking for the salary list, which I found.
<v Speaker 1>All right, sit, what happened? I got it? All right,
<v Speaker 1>So we're in twenty twenty four, so for the next
<v Speaker 1>five years until April twenty twenty nine. Got Finn Balor
<v Speaker 1>and Randy Orton until late twenty twenty nine, confirmed by
<v Speaker 1>by full Report. Wow, I think that's kind of a
<v Speaker 1>no brainer, Like why wouldn't they be signed? We know Randy.
<v Speaker 1>There's one more on this list that I think I
<v Speaker 1>was very surprised real quick. My guy runs through twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty nine Booker t But the one that surprised me
<v Speaker 1>here in twenty nineteen, he signed a fifteen year deal
<v Speaker 1>until twenty thirty four. Who is it twenty nineteen? He
<v Speaker 1>signed in twenty nineteen, he signed a fifteen year deal.
<v Speaker 1>He's retired. He's retired right now, he's retired. That's trying
<v Speaker 1>to un checker. Don't checker.
<v Speaker 2>Oh nikes.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I was surprised that they give him a fifteen
<v Speaker 1>year deal. But if they're gonna keep using his march
<v Speaker 1>like that makes sense. They're making a shitload him. They
<v Speaker 1>made a lot of merch off of me since he retired.
<v Speaker 1>Merch money. But let's let's move into all elite wrestling
<v Speaker 1>because there's a few names here that I think maybe
<v Speaker 1>make a difference. Is coming to w W uh first
<v Speaker 1>name on the list, well, this was through already through September,
<v Speaker 1>around September it says nothing specific. But with Ray Phoenix
<v Speaker 1>a report is that through five food report sorry, contract ending.
<v Speaker 1>So that's part of we're thinking if they're going to
<v Speaker 1>show up NWW along with PENSA name is not on
<v Speaker 1>this list, let's see.
<v Speaker 2>Really Yeah, it's weird. I mean they're they're they're brothers.
<v Speaker 2>They're always a tandem, so that they have to Yeah, yeah, so.
<v Speaker 1>He pent his name is on the list. But the ad,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the things I've been seeing is that they
<v Speaker 1>don't want to go to NXT. That was I think
<v Speaker 1>that's one of their the stipulations that they the first
<v Speaker 1>of all their package deal and then they don't want
<v Speaker 1>to go to NXT. But who are they going to
<v Speaker 1>put against them to wrestle the Lucas style? That's what
<v Speaker 1>I'm worried about. I think you could throw them in
<v Speaker 1>there with pabl Escobar and his crew and l w
<v Speaker 1>O l w O all those guys for good CI
<v Speaker 1>money easily.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, that's too adapt and then see like what
<v Speaker 2>the WWE style, the main event style is as what
<v Speaker 2>Sean Waltman used to call it. So yeah, I could
<v Speaker 2>see that. I could see that that's what they would do.
<v Speaker 2>That's that's it makes the most sense.
<v Speaker 1>So do you think Soria Soriah known as Page ever
<v Speaker 1>comes back to ww Her contract is through September as well,
<v Speaker 1>so she might already be out of it. We're in,
<v Speaker 1>We're I mean we're halfway almost halfway through, so she
<v Speaker 1>might already be out of it. And think she's been
<v Speaker 1>on TV for a while now. Legends contract Legends contract.
<v Speaker 1>Won't speaking of Legends contract. This is real Legends contract
<v Speaker 1>coming up. His contract also through September of twenty twenty four,
<v Speaker 1>and that is Dustin Rhodes. What does he do easy
<v Speaker 1>come back back stage? Does he show up? Does he
<v Speaker 1>ever escort Cody to the ring? What do you think?
<v Speaker 3>All of it?
<v Speaker 1>All of it?
<v Speaker 3>I think of it, all of it.
<v Speaker 1>I don't see how you don't. I just I don't
<v Speaker 1>like Wow. I mean that that was gonna be good.
<v Speaker 1>March of twenty twenty five, mister Jim Ross will be
<v Speaker 1>released for not released, but his contract could be done
<v Speaker 1>for over there? Do they bring him back? He's not
<v Speaker 1>in the Hall of Fame right, Yeah, yes he is? Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so then he wouldn't. There's no big return for him.
<v Speaker 1>All right, let's see through December of twenty twenty five.
<v Speaker 1>Chris Jericho, he's got to come back to be inducted.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think he resigns?
<v Speaker 2>No?
<v Speaker 3>I Jericho.
<v Speaker 2>Look, Jacko and I had the same birthday. He aged
<v Speaker 2>well and I aged well. But now I'm fearing the
<v Speaker 2>next few years because I saw how much he aged
<v Speaker 2>in those years. This is what I have to say
<v Speaker 2>about Jericho. Let it go, I love you, let it go.
<v Speaker 3>To me.
<v Speaker 2>The most firstile wrestler in history was Chris Jericho. People
<v Speaker 2>can argue anybody else, but Chris Jericho was the most
<v Speaker 2>versatile wrestler that reinvented himself over and over again.
<v Speaker 3>He did it like Madonna.
<v Speaker 2>So with that being said, what I'd like to see
<v Speaker 2>is going to the Hall of Fame.
<v Speaker 3>Call of the day.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe call it a day, not one more match, but yeah,
<v Speaker 1>definitely call it a day and sell some merch. More man,
<v Speaker 1>just sell some merch. Drink it in man, all right,
<v Speaker 1>city see Oh it's Miro early twenty twenty six.
<v Speaker 3>They care.
<v Speaker 1>We'll see a trivile edged guy.
<v Speaker 3>I mean.
<v Speaker 2>He was a bodybuilding guy that had a terrible move set.
<v Speaker 2>I can kick, I can punch, I can body slam,
<v Speaker 2>I can ol wow drop, and I can do the
<v Speaker 2>camel clutch. Why would anybody want him on their roster? Seriously,
<v Speaker 2>why would anybody want him on their roster? And then
<v Speaker 2>he shows up in a w to say I can kick,
<v Speaker 2>I can punch, I can body slam, and I can
<v Speaker 2>do camel clutch. But I have a pick T shirt
<v Speaker 2>on the guy is a joke. It's not that he's bad.
<v Speaker 2>It's just he's not good. He's not good at all.
<v Speaker 1>So there's a lot of guys over there that are
<v Speaker 1>not good, but they're all getting paid. Alex Reynolds evil,
<v Speaker 1>who know? John Silver, keep saving Scorpio Sky, Kyler Rady,
<v Speaker 1>Adam Cole Oha.
<v Speaker 3>Scorpio Sky is good.
<v Speaker 1>I know he is. I know. I just want to
<v Speaker 1>see if you're gonna stop me. No, he really is good.
<v Speaker 1>He does it definitely does not get the credit he should.
<v Speaker 1>I f ther is going to be there until April
<v Speaker 1>of twenty twenty seven. They're gonna have anything left in
<v Speaker 1>the tank to come be Tag team champions and WW again,
<v Speaker 1>what do you think? Who knows how this goes? What
<v Speaker 1>about what about the plumber? John Max said through twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty seven, I.
<v Speaker 2>Would say he'll go back ww.
<v Speaker 3>I.
<v Speaker 2>I really think that he will do that just because
<v Speaker 2>he got to show his fun, his CZW fun on
<v Speaker 2>a big scale and now it's like, okay, well I
<v Speaker 2>had to taste of the big money, and I got
<v Speaker 2>so much merch sales over there.
<v Speaker 3>I'm going back over there.
<v Speaker 1>Until twenty twenty seven. Malachi Black and here in Parenthesi
<v Speaker 1>says almost five years left people are well, I was
<v Speaker 1>from July twenty twenty two, but people are winding him
<v Speaker 1>back Young Bucks will never Yeah, Black will go back
<v Speaker 1>gum Bucks.
<v Speaker 2>Whyever Black the Bucks? No, no, God don't. W's never
<v Speaker 2>gonna sign that now.
<v Speaker 1>A swer of just resigned, so he's over there for
<v Speaker 1>a few more years.
<v Speaker 3>Talent.
<v Speaker 2>So there's a difference there between he and the Bucks.
<v Speaker 3>And they're trampling wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>So uh, let's see that I got a smallst year
<v Speaker 1>of ten A guys want to go over them? Any
<v Speaker 1>of them make a difference for you. Now that we
<v Speaker 1>got a little t NA crossover slash Forbidden Door opening
<v Speaker 1>with w W and NXT Okay, Eric Young, w Swan
<v Speaker 1>p c O, Brian Myers, Uh, Speedball, Mike Bailey, A J. Francis,
<v Speaker 1>Jordan Grace, She's definitely gonna break out from over there,
<v Speaker 1>Josh Alexander and Killer, Kelly, Zion Brookside and Moose.
<v Speaker 3>All right, so take it one by one.
<v Speaker 1>Eric Young is working with a contract.
<v Speaker 2>Eric Young worked for w W for a year behind
<v Speaker 2>the scenes. There's a lot of skills to him as
<v Speaker 2>far as his brain goes, as far as his in
<v Speaker 2>ring goes, He's okay. Uh, he created characters. I think
<v Speaker 2>that he's really good at creating characters. But brass tacks
<v Speaker 2>and baseball bats. Let's get down to it.
<v Speaker 3>I got it. Honestly, it's a curious thing. It's a
<v Speaker 3>curious thing with Eric Young.
<v Speaker 1>Next which one.
<v Speaker 2>He's a rich one, he's a poor man. Swore he
<v Speaker 2>is here, he really is. He's not bad, he's not bad.
<v Speaker 2>He's great. But he's like with Swerve on top of
<v Speaker 2>the world. You're you look the same, you work the same.
<v Speaker 1>But come on, that's funny. I don't know Brian Myers'
<v Speaker 1>I don't know this guy. You know him? Yeah, he's
<v Speaker 1>a jobber, so jobber speedball, Mike Bailey.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what to think about the sky. I
<v Speaker 2>do not know what to think about the sky.
<v Speaker 1>Let's think about him. Oh he ain't got no shoes
<v Speaker 1>that say he's off my list. That's the one thing
<v Speaker 1>that I hated riddle about. I can't trust the guy
<v Speaker 1>who doesn't wear shoes. I can't trust a guy who no.
<v Speaker 2>But you couldn't say that about Kevin Vaughan, Eric, and
<v Speaker 2>he was amazing, So okay, let's move it.
<v Speaker 1>A J. Francais other also known as top dollar. He
<v Speaker 1>ain't coming back. He was already moved out, shipped down
<v Speaker 1>his garbage. Unfortunately. Yeah, he was just a big flap
<v Speaker 1>flap dallar. Jordan Grace, she's probably the big standout, the
<v Speaker 1>biggest standout over there. She's doing the I believe you
<v Speaker 1>right now, she's got the the open challenge. That is
<v Speaker 1>what she's got going on right now. I believe she's
<v Speaker 1>coming to and ext to do that.
<v Speaker 2>Well, now that's now that I'm single. If Jordan Grace
<v Speaker 2>needs a challenge, I live in Louisville, Kentucky.
<v Speaker 1>Excellent Josh Alexander.
<v Speaker 3>Amazing, amazing guy. Yes he is amazing.
<v Speaker 1>I've hurt the name a lot.
<v Speaker 2>But he has to get rid of the head gear.
<v Speaker 3>He has to get rid of the head gear.
<v Speaker 2>That's good to what's it's it's it will set him apart.
<v Speaker 2>But he is amazing, He's amazing.
<v Speaker 1>I'll check him out. What about Moose?
<v Speaker 3>Just another brick? He's not bad.
<v Speaker 2>Uh, he needs to define some crit smile because he
<v Speaker 2>is just Marcus Corbon point two.
<v Speaker 1>If he doesn't, he still got a couple of years
<v Speaker 1>over there through twenty twenty eight. But we'll see how
<v Speaker 1>that turns out. For him. So let's see what else
<v Speaker 1>is going on, because there's a lot of stuff out. Uh,
<v Speaker 1>you said that you had watched Collision. Was that the
<v Speaker 1>one before or after the all in pay per view?
<v Speaker 2>It was half assed, to be honest with you, because
<v Speaker 2>it was so bad, like seriously, after you and I
<v Speaker 2>and MAV and everybody like discovering it, after you lost
<v Speaker 2>Punk and you lost FDR and then you just.
<v Speaker 1>Put in yeah, m her, Yeah bad, it's bad, and
<v Speaker 1>that was It's really really bad. The ratings just are
<v Speaker 1>bombing tickets. Tell their bombing. They're distributing tickets. They're having
<v Speaker 1>to give out tickets to the local radio stations to
<v Speaker 1>fill those seats, so they're not even all paid seats.
<v Speaker 1>Real quick, I want to get your thoughts. What do
<v Speaker 1>you think about the spot they did with the BBC
<v Speaker 1>turning on Daniel Brian, that Daniel Branson with the passing
<v Speaker 1>back spot that hadn't been done since forever in a
<v Speaker 1>day ago with Terry Funk and who is it? Who
<v Speaker 1>is it? Who did a flair?
<v Speaker 3>Did you see it? I saw it, but you're not
<v Speaker 3>getting it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not. I'm just going off next us.
<v Speaker 3>What happened when the NEXTUS debut.
<v Speaker 1>They attacked John cena on tore up the ringside.
<v Speaker 2>And why did Daniel O'Brien get fired? I don't remember.
<v Speaker 2>Because he took a microphone cord and choked commentator. That
<v Speaker 2>was a homage. Ah, people don't get that. I get that,
<v Speaker 2>but I'm a wrestling historian. It's true he choked out.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if it was Josh Matthews or who.
<v Speaker 1>Justin Roberts at the tie because Brian did not So
<v Speaker 1>this is per the Sports Report Sportster. Brian did not
<v Speaker 1>realize WW had a strict no choking rule that upsets sponsors.
<v Speaker 1>WW felt they had to fire Brian to a pizza
<v Speaker 1>sponsors as he was the one who broke the rule. Wow,
<v Speaker 1>I never knew that.
<v Speaker 3>Did you not see that? Come on, man?
<v Speaker 1>I mean yeah, I mean when the next is twenty ten?
<v Speaker 1>Where was I in twenty ten?
<v Speaker 3>I was.
<v Speaker 1>I was watching wrestling, but I wasn't sitting down watching it.
<v Speaker 1>In twenty ten, I'm twenty three years old, I'm out living,
<v Speaker 1>so watching wrestling wasn't a priority for me at that time. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I felt I kept up with it because my dad's
<v Speaker 1>always watched it religiously I think this was around the
<v Speaker 1>time where I spent a lot of time like on
<v Speaker 1>Bleacher Report, like seeing what reading rumors and predicting what
<v Speaker 1>would have happened or what could have happened, and putting
<v Speaker 1>two and two together on my own. I remember seeing
<v Speaker 1>The NeXT's debut and it just wasn't super impressed with it,
<v Speaker 1>and I just I remember Daniel Bryant being like off
<v Speaker 1>and on TV, but back then, I just I don't
<v Speaker 1>remember this at all.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that actually was like I think, a homage to incident,
<v Speaker 2>But I don't think that Danie O'Brien or Brian Danielson
<v Speaker 2>really wanted to have that moment happened. So what happens
<v Speaker 2>is you have this whole disgusting pay per view, and
<v Speaker 2>it was disgusting. And I'm not a light person, but
<v Speaker 2>I don't get like the pain. When people want to
<v Speaker 2>watch pro wrestling, I want to feel like and feel
<v Speaker 2>sick about it.
<v Speaker 3>You're gonna get blood, you're.
<v Speaker 2>Gonna get changed, you're gonna get everything right.
<v Speaker 3>So that it was just something different. Okay, that's almost
<v Speaker 3>saying about that.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I gotcha. Oh wow, for for anybody to know,
<v Speaker 1>now you know, I didn't know or didn't remember, But man,
<v Speaker 1>you put these put all to connect all these dots,
<v Speaker 1>and it's just she's like, wow, But.
<v Speaker 2>Rocky, do you know the the connections between the movie
<v Speaker 2>Psycho and the movie Halloween the originals?
<v Speaker 1>You already told me this, but I forgot tell me
<v Speaker 1>again because.
<v Speaker 2>In Halloween, doctor Sam Loomis stopped.
<v Speaker 3>I'n't really put this, so.
<v Speaker 2>Doctor sam Loomis stopped, Uh, Norman Bates, and so they
<v Speaker 2>reused that in Halloween as a different name, spelled different
<v Speaker 2>because if anybody could stop Norman Bates, they could stop
<v Speaker 2>Michael Myers. Also the fact that Gently was the Scream
<v Speaker 2>Queen and then her daughter, Yeah, I would.
<v Speaker 1>Never put that together. But all right, So that covers
<v Speaker 1>the list of our contracts at least leading in or
<v Speaker 1>up until almost twenty thirty. So for the next six years,
<v Speaker 1>that's the people that we can expect to be under contract.
<v Speaker 1>You know, a lot of big names were left on
<v Speaker 1>this off this list, so they must really be signed
<v Speaker 1>to ten twelve year deals and we won't see that
<v Speaker 1>list for a while. But a couple of interesting names here.
<v Speaker 1>But like I said, of these people are going to
<v Speaker 1>be resigned and or moved over to WD for legens contracts,
<v Speaker 1>and I mean that's just what it's going to be,
<v Speaker 1>you know, So a year from now, I mean, the
<v Speaker 1>people we got as champions now could still be champions.
<v Speaker 1>I mean that's just kind of where we at with
<v Speaker 1>the landscape of challengers for the most part, like our
<v Speaker 1>champions are. We have good champions across the board, but
<v Speaker 1>I know, the lack of the depth of the storylines
<v Speaker 1>and just creating the interests.
<v Speaker 4>And I mean it's cool with these tag titles and
<v Speaker 4>these factions and but just too much interference, and it
<v Speaker 4>pisces me off.
<v Speaker 1>I just let these guys, just let us let them win.
<v Speaker 1>I don't need every interference in every match. But I
<v Speaker 1>don't want to ramble too much. We are closing up
<v Speaker 1>our time, so let's say our goodbyes for this episode
<v Speaker 1>and then we'll come back strong again with.
<v Speaker 2>Another one, all right.
<v Speaker 1>So for me, it's been a lot. I just want
<v Speaker 1>to get this out there real quick. I know, we
<v Speaker 1>last time we spoke, our last recording, I mentioned about
<v Speaker 1>the hurricane that came through and the leaking the roof
<v Speaker 1>and this and that, and well the leak sprouted again
<v Speaker 1>and the roof almost caped in so Rocket Tea's in
<v Speaker 1>the middle of an emergency move right now, and I'll
<v Speaker 1>be buying my first house and it is so stressful
<v Speaker 1>every step of the way. Every day is stressful because
<v Speaker 1>you're waiting and signing and inspecting and getting the praise
<v Speaker 1>and praisals and and everything and packing and it's just
<v Speaker 1>moving is such a beat word, if you know what
<v Speaker 1>I mean. It's my apartment, it's downstairs, my mom's apartment,
<v Speaker 1>it's Kimberly is Orige and.
<v Speaker 4>Moving and it's it's gonna be great. I'll be closer
<v Speaker 4>to work.
<v Speaker 1>But it's just, oh my god, I haven't had enough
<v Speaker 1>time for you, my friend, and I want to apologize
<v Speaker 1>to you. You got going on, but I feel so
<v Speaker 1>bad because I don't really have time for Kimberly sometimes
<v Speaker 1>between work and school and and and packing and then
<v Speaker 1>and then even my mom's like like, when you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>sit down and talk to me, and I'm just like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm talking with the voices of head and let me
<v Speaker 1>go finish with them. And it's a lot. But we
<v Speaker 1>are already towards the end of the year. So anybody
<v Speaker 1>out there that I want to take a load off
<v Speaker 1>a little bit maybe for us or help us out.
<v Speaker 1>I know we got some more more stuff. MAVs working
<v Speaker 1>on something right now. Is he on hiatus too? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I feel like everybody's on a little bit of hiatus too.
<v Speaker 1>Was good to everybody. But anyways, guys, Rocky Tea zero
<v Speaker 1>zero zero seven. And you know what my business line
<v Speaker 1>for T Mobile if anybody wants to reach out there,
<v Speaker 1>Uh see it on my social media page. I have
<v Speaker 1>my QR code posted up now for my business. So
<v Speaker 1>take us out, Gardner.
<v Speaker 2>Z're one one four Sorry stop there're one four four
<v Speaker 2>captain at I guess it was Twitter.
<v Speaker 3>I don't.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, yeah, I miss everybody.
<v Speaker 3>I want to do a lot of more everything that
<v Speaker 3>we're doing. I miss you guys. And uh and.
<v Speaker 2>My producer here is Rocky Tea and he is a
<v Speaker 2>beast and he is great and he's smarts, just a
<v Speaker 2>man that I need my.
<v Speaker 1>Life trying to produce. Man, it's hard. So I'll have
<v Speaker 1>the brain power. And there's so much restling going on
<v Speaker 1>every week I can catch up, keep up. It's crazy.
<v Speaker 1>But anyways, and he had eight.
<v Speaker 2>Hundred thousand dollars microphone.
<v Speaker 1>So hey, I when I move into the house, I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna have a space. I should have the quiet area
<v Speaker 1>that I need to set it up.
<v Speaker 2>I love everybody. Yeah, I love everybody here.
