[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Forty K-Lorecast. [SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Forty Kaylorcast with me, John Barsotti, and Brad Jester. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, Brad, well, we started Orks last week, and we are not stopping. [SPEAKER_01]: Stop. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's keep that train going. [SPEAKER_01]: Last week, we covered, you know, some piece of Orks that that we both like, you know, how they function, who's in charge this week, we're going to dive into [SPEAKER_01]: some of the oracle leaders and some of the greatest exploits which are which are new variables. [SPEAKER_01]: They are the perfect species and they are perfect in every way but like any good orc some are more perfect than others. [SPEAKER_03]: Also, there's a lot to choose from, because you have to remember, if you listen to the last Orcs were around, oh, yeah, sixty five million years ago, and there wasn't a break. [SPEAKER_03]: There wasn't a Necron, I dug in and slept for a life. [SPEAKER_03]: I went past the alarm kind of thing. [SPEAKER_01]: No, they've been working. [SPEAKER_03]: They've been working. [SPEAKER_03]: And what Orcs means is they don't put it in the GPS. [SPEAKER_03]: They just go to random places and do random things. [SPEAKER_03]: And well, [SPEAKER_03]: or civilization doesn't really progress. [SPEAKER_01]: It's already good where they didn't take a poetry break. [SPEAKER_01]: There wasn't, there wasn't, I mean, the good news for them is there was no black plague. [SPEAKER_01]: The downside for them was there was no Renaissance. [SPEAKER_01]: There has just been orc. [SPEAKER_01]: Orc. [SPEAKER_01]: There are trillions of probably future life forms that do not exist because of the Orc's period of time finding their planet before they grew up. [SPEAKER_03]: Anything is, is that orcs? [SPEAKER_03]: Let's go into the basics of orcs, though. [SPEAKER_03]: One of the biggest things is orcs aren't as big of a threat as long as orcs are contained to not having that many other orcs around them. [SPEAKER_03]: Orcs become more organized, more violent, more powerful, and they also get a purpose. [SPEAKER_03]: Once you reach a critical mass of orcs, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: you now have the biological imperative to go fuck some shit up. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, and it's actually cool because I mean, one of the stories I love reading about is that when orcs are on a great crusade and moving across across the galaxy, they have to be fighting even within their own ships. [SPEAKER_01]: Otherwise, they get bored and it kind of looks late. [SPEAKER_03]: They lose the walk. [SPEAKER_03]: They actually become weaker, less strong. [SPEAKER_03]: Like less actually, [SPEAKER_03]: The people that are pushing it, less intelligent, less driven. [SPEAKER_03]: They're driven by aggression. [SPEAKER_03]: They legitimately Eric Banna Hulk out. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Look at the movie. [SPEAKER_03]: That's a long time. [SPEAKER_01]: Eric Banna. [SPEAKER_01]: There've been six hoax and you picked. [SPEAKER_03]: But that's the only one that got bigger because he got angry. [SPEAKER_01]: They all did. [SPEAKER_03]: That's literally what the fuck does he was. [SPEAKER_03]: The whole key got bigger. [SPEAKER_01]: fair, but not really anyway. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's literally every hope, but it's fine. [SPEAKER_03]: But the big thing about it is what the reason that they're not, the reason that they're comedy gold is their hilarious and they're just gotta go. [SPEAKER_03]: The reason that they're not taking over the entire galaxy is unbelievable, no organization, but also exactly that they lose the will, the reason. [SPEAKER_03]: If you make orks and pockets of orks, cause orks, I have different plans. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so different plans will go into much later. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: But like, you know, you have these different pockets of orks that just get into squabbles by themselves and they do orks things, but they're not interplanetary. [SPEAKER_03]: They're not intergalactic. [SPEAKER_03]: They're just doing things. [SPEAKER_03]: I say on a system level, which is huge for an environment. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're only in an entire system of plans doing, doing orks. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: People that are currently trapped on the one plan. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, they literally have to have that mass and that's always led by a leader. [SPEAKER_03]: What's it's conflict, but it's a leader that brings them to conflict. [SPEAKER_03]: It's they have to have somebody that ignites. [SPEAKER_03]: They have the impetus. [SPEAKER_03]: They have the match that lights that. [SPEAKER_03]: So, and these leaders are all the ones we're talking about. [SPEAKER_03]: are all the matches. [SPEAKER_03]: They're the people that fired the orcs up and made it a bonfire when some of made it more than a bonfire. [SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to go through this. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to set a bit more free for me down the past, but the idea is talk about some of the big stories, but also some of the quick kind of one-off stories that we enjoyed. [SPEAKER_01]: We're not going to cover the entirety of the orchestra because again, this is not about us telling you all the pieces. [SPEAKER_01]: Just these are the stories that we thought were the funniest. [SPEAKER_01]: So you're all welcome to start with them. [SPEAKER_01]: And the one I want, I think we should start with is the great crusade. [SPEAKER_01]: So mankind has to, the emperor has unified mankind. [SPEAKER_01]: We are going into the stars. [SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be great. [SPEAKER_01]: And what's the first Xenos that they run into? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like orcs. [SPEAKER_01]: Hello. [SPEAKER_01]: Hello. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you guys like fighting. [SPEAKER_01]: We like fighting. [SPEAKER_01]: So they run into an orc [SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't even call this a wall. [SPEAKER_01]: It was just a big orc settlement. [SPEAKER_01]: And it probably could borrow. [SPEAKER_01]: And it was mostly the Macboy adventure most. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And so they were looking for parts basically. [SPEAKER_01]: And they are literally stalling the great crusade. [SPEAKER_01]: And I want to go back again to me. [SPEAKER_01]: We said the last episode. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to keep harping on it. [SPEAKER_01]: Orcs on paper. [SPEAKER_01]: If you read this without any tone, are terrifying. [SPEAKER_01]: And they are the most powerful species in the galaxy. [SPEAKER_01]: So mankind is expanding into the stars with this full support of Mars, the emperor and everything, and they keep hitting walls because there's an organization somewhere. [SPEAKER_01]: The emperor decides to put this down and he goes, [SPEAKER_03]: And then he does, it's not even just, at that point of time, the efforts like we're getting, I'm done with check. [SPEAKER_03]: Kill all of the orcs. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, not just some of the orcs, but he also didn't realize how widespread it is and how cold of a race it was for him. [SPEAKER_03]: Originally, this is just a segment of the galaxy. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: And there's just an infestation and they're annoying. [SPEAKER_01]: That's actually a treat, because even with his contact with the immaterial, he wouldn't really know about orcs. [SPEAKER_03]: No, just they have no real history of anything. [SPEAKER_01]: Side question, because I have to say, did the Emperor know about the Eldar? [SPEAKER_03]: I think so. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, there's that one. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like question for us that, well, don't worry. [SPEAKER_01]: build our episodes. [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, move that. [SPEAKER_01]: So they decide to go after the main source of it, which is Goro. [SPEAKER_01]: And one of my favorite parts about Goro is this massive mech planet powered by the most powerful plasma technology. [SPEAKER_01]: possibly in the history of the universe. [SPEAKER_03]: Because they also accidentally. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that there was bored and put it together. [SPEAKER_01]: The orcs have no idea how this technology works in my dad, but they have the most powerful plus. [SPEAKER_03]: Also, if you're modeling up your mech boys and you're not making him look like Doc from back to the future, why not? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, always it's fantastic. [SPEAKER_01]: They go down to this planet, the Emperor and Horace invade the planet. [SPEAKER_01]: As you know, buddy style, we're going to go and we're going to kill all of the orcs. [SPEAKER_01]: My favorite part of this is the Emperor who is we've said before the most powerful being in the planet by far gets knocked on his ass by a by an orc plasma gun because he's also not [SPEAKER_03]: as no idea that this is a, you don't think that the orgs have any of this. [SPEAKER_03]: They're just dumb. [SPEAKER_03]: It looks like guys that are running at you is sticks and then occasionally, oh yeah, they have giant gargants and stomp is show up and things that shouldn't exist. [SPEAKER_03]: and they kill you with guns that they made up names for. [SPEAKER_01]: In the Emperor, then the Mac, one of the Mac's boys grabs him and begins crushing his armor at the same way Horace did at the end of the Horace house. [SPEAKER_01]: So a horse, a space marine primarq fully infused with all the chaos gods was on par with random Mac boy who was angry. [SPEAKER_01]: And you stopped, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: He was using his new new thing he made. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, now I will say at this point, Horace did shop that said Orcs arms off and then he and the emperor, I think my note here says went double dragon on the rest of the world. [SPEAKER_03]: The humble viewers. [SPEAKER_03]: You unfortunately, apparently, you did just like in the movies where you have the hero is getting beat up and then gets upset about something and then goes super sion. [SPEAKER_03]: They win super sion. [SPEAKER_01]: Every York in the planet was killed. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I'm pretty sure it was just the two of them might have actually been a capable of it. [SPEAKER_01]: But I think the whole point of the story is simply, this was not even, this wasn't a wah, this wasn't even a war boss. [SPEAKER_01]: This was a neck. [SPEAKER_03]: The horse also considered this a good scrap. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the horse were happy. [SPEAKER_01]: This actually probably in some ways, I don't know, in quotes, doomed mankind because the orcs discovered these were fun fights. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's the thing is they found out that there's really good enemies because also orcs every time until now in the great crusade, every time they encounter humanity, there was never a good fight. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's just like, yeah, they literally leave. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Because works aren't the good guys, but they're not the bad guys. [SPEAKER_03]: They're just works. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're not psychopaths. [SPEAKER_01]: And if we keep talking about this, it's why when you're playing Forty K, what they want to challenge is in picking an army, we're going to dive more and later into a thing like why Brad and I both play works. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not just a competitive reason, but think it's fun about works and you're a field bad playing. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're the bad guy, but are they? [SPEAKER_01]: They're just [SPEAKER_01]: They are. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they just are. [SPEAKER_01]: They are, but they're not, they're not sitting there. [SPEAKER_01]: They orks never want to go. [SPEAKER_01]: Like they said, destroy a civilian planet. [SPEAKER_03]: No, they're looking for, again, a good scrap. [SPEAKER_01]: They're looking for a battle. [SPEAKER_01]: It's it. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's, and that's what gets them going, which actually partly doesn't do our next one. [SPEAKER_01]: The war of the beast. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, before we even get into this, and we're gonna definitely get a couple things wrong, because I've audio-booked this, like six times, because I keep falling asleep in the middle of it, and then it can't actually, again, props on this. [SPEAKER_03]: He goes, have you read this? [SPEAKER_03]: And I go, yes and no, because I fall asleep to it, like seven times. [SPEAKER_01]: I've been present to it being read to me. [SPEAKER_03]: But I really like this, because this is the first time mankind really gets a taste [SPEAKER_03]: of what the orcs can be. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's actually, they've had some mass orcs before, but they haven't had. [SPEAKER_01]: I believe this is the first wall. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll get corrected because the only downside about doing a podcast on orcs is you're gonna get corrected. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're all you're correcting me. [SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate it. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just as far as mankind knows. [SPEAKER_03]: I think this is the first. [SPEAKER_01]: This is that first. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, we might be wildly wrong, but I think it is. [SPEAKER_01]: I do a good amount of research for these things before we put them out. [SPEAKER_01]: This is the first one I have because the the Olinore wasn't really a law. [SPEAKER_01]: It was just a lot of work. [SPEAKER_01]: It was it was a centerpiece of an of an orc army of an orc empire. [SPEAKER_01]: Same with the great crusade with the Lord there. [SPEAKER_01]: Everything I'm reading tells me this was the first time the orcs organized and so [SPEAKER_03]: The works organized and came to them. [SPEAKER_03]: They weren't just in the way or happened to be, because before all these meetings in the crusade are imperium expansion, and they're meeting works, and then the works gathered on wherever the healthy, the imperium was. [SPEAKER_03]: They came, oh, you're at all in our, for instance, everybody from around came there. [SPEAKER_03]: But like now, this is the first time the works are [SPEAKER_03]: actively going in a vector if they're going this way. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's have this the stage for this though. [SPEAKER_01]: We are a thousand years after the horrors heresy mankind number one focus has been re-unified old planets kill chaos that's what they're that's what they're going on also pause if you want to be perfectly honest now [SPEAKER_03]: Kill cast, kill anyone that knows that cast might exist. [SPEAKER_01]: There's a few that there might be some purging of some records. [SPEAKER_03]: Like we're just gonna pretend that didn't happen. [SPEAKER_01]: Man kind is kind of pursuing threats. [SPEAKER_01]: This feeds the worst thing possible, which is orcs. [SPEAKER_03]: The planet didn't matter, but the battle did. [SPEAKER_03]: So we start rocking. [SPEAKER_03]: We're struggling. [SPEAKER_03]: We're Queensbury styling it. [SPEAKER_03]: There's so much me using hand gestures right now. [SPEAKER_01]: And none of you can see it. [SPEAKER_01]: I get all of the bread hand gestures. [SPEAKER_01]: I actually have the bread is a lot of manualism that none of you get to see. [SPEAKER_03]: The, but the best part is they give a Star Wars moment here because they literally go, well, that's that small moon coming at us. [SPEAKER_03]: That's no flow. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's literally orcs who, just McGyverd. [SPEAKER_03]: Effectively, I'm moving. [SPEAKER_01]: They just, a giant, I mean, it's not metal, they've even moved. [SPEAKER_01]: They took a bunch of things. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it's a space scrap and made us circle. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they did it. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I'm saying that you're basically, they took an asteroid and started just kept putting stuff on until it was a giant heap. [SPEAKER_03]: They ate him a guy for it. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm using all my eighties references. [SPEAKER_03]: But they make this literal attack piece of garbage that's his biggest moon. [SPEAKER_03]: And lens. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, you just said land. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, quotations, air quotes on this. [SPEAKER_01]: Smashers in do it. [SPEAKER_01]: We have to make Brad happy here. [SPEAKER_01]: He Fred was her space marine chapter. [SPEAKER_01]: That was in charge of defending this. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, probably the worst. [SPEAKER_01]: Most feeble chapter of all time. [SPEAKER_01]: So [SPEAKER_01]: for those who I feel were going, it was defended by imperial fists. [SPEAKER_01]: They got ruin in the imperial fist. [SPEAKER_01]: I keep going to go back to why Love Orcs. [SPEAKER_01]: The best space marine chapter at building defenses and repelling invaders. [SPEAKER_01]: went down like a sack of potatoes. [SPEAKER_03]: That's because no one else decided to drive a moon. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that it was true. [SPEAKER_01]: They in all of Rogueldorn's teaching. [SPEAKER_01]: He never taught them. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, what if our opponents don't have to follow the laws of physics, build a giant piece of metal with guns sticking out of it and attack us. [SPEAKER_03]: Also, you said land, they crash and it's in order to do the laws of physics and reentry into a planet's atmosphere. [SPEAKER_03]: and just drove it. [SPEAKER_01]: Same chapter that held the entire Horace Heresy at bay. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they did not do it here. [SPEAKER_03]: Orcs, this feeling like an hour and a half. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just straight through. [SPEAKER_03]: Because they also landed said moon in the middle. [SPEAKER_03]: One like, hey, it would be way easier and more convenient for us to fight if we land on top of the tower of the fortress that we're going to [SPEAKER_01]: This, though, got worse because we took the one planet. [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't just that the York's retargeting, though. [SPEAKER_01]: True. [SPEAKER_01]: It was the entire system. [SPEAKER_01]: Plus. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's actually a segmental. [SPEAKER_03]: The exact segmental is actually a group of solar systems, in fact. [SPEAKER_01]: A portion of the Milky Way, all of a sudden began to burn. [SPEAKER_03]: It was the same time. [SPEAKER_03]: It was a huge [SPEAKER_03]: Again, orks accidentally made, and again, this is a one thousand percent accidental. [SPEAKER_03]: It's not like they sat in the diagram. [SPEAKER_03]: This oceans, the Levin style, heistwise, they psychically all attacked at the exact same time. [SPEAKER_01]: Now the entire galaxy is beginning to burn. [SPEAKER_01]: This is a worse invasion than the Horus Heresy, which was, I'm going to use word only here, a thousand years prior, but mankind has not fully recovered from Horus Heresy. [SPEAKER_01]: Horus, remember, just want to get the soul. [SPEAKER_01]: He was doing some little things here and there, but he had a purpose. [SPEAKER_01]: are just trying to kill every space Marine that they can find because it's a fighter. [SPEAKER_01]: They're only trying to get in the fight, too. [SPEAKER_03]: This stage, unless they've got three of not literally talked about the fact that it's the war of the beast because the org leading it is the beast. [SPEAKER_01]: The orcs are being led by a super war boss named the beast. [SPEAKER_01]: And for those of you who know I'm wrong on that, I know too. [SPEAKER_01]: We're getting [SPEAKER_01]: We already had this argument by the way. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like, don't worry. [SPEAKER_01]: We're getting there. [SPEAKER_01]: But remember, this, it works are doing this. [SPEAKER_01]: This is galaxy wide. [SPEAKER_01]: They're also fighting the elder, the dark elder, the tower around this point I believe. [SPEAKER_01]: So this is like the third. [SPEAKER_01]: Now second to town out town. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they, they were, the town kept their heads low. [SPEAKER_03]: They're not so way to these. [SPEAKER_01]: still they're fighting the orcs are fighting everyone now as the force is coming closer just sorry I'm late we have our notes going on and what of it in the middle of nowhere John just writes suck it up her mankind decides to figure out where this invasion is coming from and they realize it's ulnar which is why I wrote suck it emperor you had a [SPEAKER_01]: conquered the Orcs on Olinore, you held a big parade, and where are the Orcs, where is your next giant organization coming from? [SPEAKER_01]: You're stupid parade planted. [SPEAKER_01]: Stupid parade. [SPEAKER_01]: Which, by the way, is going to come up again and again and again and again. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they should have built it. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going out there. [SPEAKER_01]: They should have built a Death Star and blown the planet up because Olinore is going to come up a lot. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they orcs infest places, and they don't like losing. [SPEAKER_03]: So what's it even though it's starting to like losing the works go back to where they know a good fight is to be that's a good point. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because I don't even know if works are looking for way it's not about revenge. [SPEAKER_01]: It's actually the opposite of it. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like ooh [SPEAKER_03]: Every time we go shot at that, every time we go here, we have a great fight. [SPEAKER_03]: So we're going back. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like I'm for sure going there. [SPEAKER_03]: They don't want to go to a agro planet, you know, or agriculture, not agriculture or plant. [SPEAKER_01]: They want to go to an agro plant. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, not an agro cultural plant. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: They want to get in fights. [SPEAKER_03]: They leave sometimes. [SPEAKER_03]: And besides, you're, there's been a bunch of times when they just went, there's no marines here. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm going. [SPEAKER_01]: You guys are blames. [SPEAKER_01]: This is, this is bullshit. [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone I hit in the head just died. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't even hit one guy that hit me back. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Am I in a hard hit? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, uh, let the, let the Gretchen do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Together, the appearing decides they have to go and cut the head off the beast, actually. [SPEAKER_01]: Everything goes in our using one of Brad's buddies. [SPEAKER_01]: Fulkin, who is back again. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, because he's in a mortal existence, he's going to keep coming back. [SPEAKER_03]: So basically they send Vulcan and it's easy to get Vulcan to do anything because they're like, oh no, the people are having a bad time and Vulcan is the only good guy in the freaking galaxy by the way. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going on my way now. [SPEAKER_03]: And there is because orcs aren't known for not having collateral damage. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, they're looking for a good scrap. [SPEAKER_03]: They want to fight the best warriors, but also have they're not really worried about whether they're tactics. [SPEAKER_01]: I own an English Bulldog and Brad is seeing what my dog does, where she must get from point A to point B. There's collateral damage. [SPEAKER_01]: My four and a half year old. [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: He's getting knocked to the damn ground. [SPEAKER_01]: Bulldog won some bets. [SPEAKER_01]: Works the same way. [SPEAKER_03]: And the thing is is the works. [SPEAKER_03]: Again, not the bad guys definitely not the good guys though. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no. [SPEAKER_01]: So Vulcan's well motivated. [SPEAKER_01]: So what are we going to do? [SPEAKER_01]: I love this story. [SPEAKER_01]: They land, they fight their way to the temple. [SPEAKER_01]: And the temple, there is a giant, this temple, the middle of Olenar. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and we see a temple, by the way, it's not polished edges Notre Dame. [SPEAKER_01]: It's the biggest hunk of metal. [SPEAKER_03]: It did my mind. [SPEAKER_03]: It is definitely Notre Dame. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's going to my view point is because I'm like, Brad, I have a small child. [SPEAKER_01]: He's would have a small child builds with blocks. [SPEAKER_01]: It starts at one point and ends at another. [SPEAKER_01]: Probably disobey the laws of physics because that's how they went to build it. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, the biggest thing is that another biggest, one of the things about this is it's massive. [SPEAKER_03]: Like you put statue, there's a statue of the beast. [SPEAKER_03]: It's not a statue. [SPEAKER_01]: It is a colossal, thirty-foot metal structure. [SPEAKER_03]: Because in the stores, they keep adding to it. [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody that comes down to say that they're going to fight for him because there's different plans of works. [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody that wants to fight for the beast effectively chucks some stuff onto the statue. [SPEAKER_01]: It's they're in that the temple they're looking around trying to find the beast. [SPEAKER_01]: They're going to cut the head off this monster. [SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden that giant statue gets up. [SPEAKER_01]: Turns out it's not a statue. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a thirty foot or covered in armor. [SPEAKER_03]: but the janky stuff, because again, it's all stuff that was offered to tribute that he's just wearing. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just saying, imagine someone that is, you go into the dragon's hoard and a guy is wearing the dragon's hoard. [SPEAKER_01]: I wish I'd go with Mr. T. Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: I was going to go with Mr. T, but like everywhere. [SPEAKER_03]: Because I'm saying, he's literally wearing the hoard of stuff that other orcs gave to the bees. [SPEAKER_03]: He just danced it like he's it's on him. [SPEAKER_03]: And this is fantastic. [SPEAKER_03]: By the way, if you can't imagine a giant ork? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a thirty foot ork fighting Vulcan. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, with his hammer. [SPEAKER_03]: But he's also covered in what orks think is treasure too. [SPEAKER_03]: So it's like a license. [SPEAKER_01]: I was making a ton of noise. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Lights reflecting over. [SPEAKER_01]: You're fighting a disco ball of garbage. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Vulcan, and we can, I'm not going to get the story justice here, so I'm going to skip ahead. [SPEAKER_01]: Vulcan in the beast fight, Vulcan eventually realizes that [SPEAKER_03]: he can't kill the beast, but also he knows a way to get rid of the beast because wait a second, a beast, are you an attorney? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you a perpetual perpetual. [SPEAKER_01]: No, cool. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to go ahead and grab yes. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, how is this place powered by work technology, which by the way, not oh show proof. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, for some reason, the generator wasn't welling in cat and taste and just throws himself [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, they also have effectively a warp engine. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: On a planet, on shield. [SPEAKER_01]: I shouldn't. [SPEAKER_01]: Vulkan to his credit, sees it, hits him in the head real hard, and then the two inch, grabs him and does that like movie thing where you grab the bad guy and jump, you know, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: They ain't actually moving down. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because I've, into the, into the, into the, into the motion, of course. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, oh, this is completely slow motion, into the generator, which explodes. [SPEAKER_01]: kills the beast, kills Vulgan, sort of, you know, technically does kill him. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, no one has been killed more than him. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you don't really get to get killed more than him. [SPEAKER_01]: need two more perpetuals. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, like, let's go. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It [SPEAKER_03]: It is only a perpetual. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Tim is just a perpetual. [SPEAKER_03]: He's been doing four tiered invasion. [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely no other, but no powers whatsoever. [SPEAKER_01]: He just gets eaten over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and [SPEAKER_01]: My next note here is an orc is never beat, because all they hear on their comms over and over again is I am slaughter, I am slaughter, I am slaughter, over and over and over again. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's important to note that this is like what happened after you got killed for an hour? [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, it goes on for weak weeks. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Only thing in the spirit of the imperial forces thing, but we killed him. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess we missed. [SPEAKER_01]: The next one up is an imperial fist named Corland, who was, I believe, the, at least the head of the imperial fist at this point, or what was left of them, because the beast killed them all, decides, all right, well, we're killing somehow Vulcan didn't get him, and I think Vulcan has resurrected yet. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to grab a group of assassins and sisters and customers. [SPEAKER_03]: He brings the most motley crew of everybody. [SPEAKER_03]: And also at this time, it is very fractured at this point in time. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, it was a million thousand years out. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Let's say, but in period forces are very odd at this point because we've we have a lot of forces that are not full force. [SPEAKER_03]: So they show up with just yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, whoever raised their hand is kind of like, hey, we're going to go fight this thing and people volunteer. [SPEAKER_03]: It's still a point in time where you could just grab everybody from this area of the galaxy that was in period and go, you gotta come with me. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we got to go deal with this. [SPEAKER_01]: So they get there. [SPEAKER_01]: They have to literally sacrifice spaceships to land it on the planet because the orc defenses are so, so strong. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, we should we should dig a pause on this because this isn't like a hey, they were strong because there's a couple guys working out gym shorts picking fights [SPEAKER_03]: The Orcs had made, because they saw what Titans were, I think. [SPEAKER_03]: And just decided, hey man, let's make some of them. [SPEAKER_03]: We should do that. [SPEAKER_03]: And also, they keep doing stuff from us from the sky. [SPEAKER_03]: What happens if we may just big guns that shot things? [SPEAKER_03]: Where in the sky? [SPEAKER_03]: Like in the air? [SPEAKER_01]: No, in orbit. [SPEAKER_01]: In fact, tractor cannons become their thing. [SPEAKER_01]: So they also, one of my favorite, and we're going to tell you about that course. [SPEAKER_01]: Amazing. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do an episode on Orc weapons. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't get me wrong, but we'll spoil it now. [SPEAKER_01]: The Orcs make a gun that grabs things and pulls them and slams them into the earth. [SPEAKER_03]: Correct. [SPEAKER_03]: It's not like a tractor deed. [SPEAKER_03]: It literally says effectively, I shoot you when I pick another point. [SPEAKER_01]: And then you just get, and then you slam you into it. [SPEAKER_03]: So they have these gigantic Titans. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: These are above. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a Gargantz Mechagargance, which are, I want to probably, when we talk, those of us who play the game, we talk like an imperial. [SPEAKER_01]: If you've ever seen a Gorkenot versus a Knight, a Knight has legs, and it walks around. [SPEAKER_01]: It's mobile, doesn't it? [SPEAKER_01]: A Gorkenot is a pyramid. [SPEAKER_01]: It's wide as at the base. [SPEAKER_01]: And it never, the top looks like a penguin. [SPEAKER_01]: Because that's how orcs build things. [SPEAKER_01]: They just kind of what has to go tall. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: keep adding to it, and it gets bigger and bigger. [SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like that statue, which wasn't the statue. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just a bunch of shit thrown on it in the thing works like on their walkers or lots and lots and lots and lots of guns. [SPEAKER_01]: One thing that I love about this story is mankind is [SPEAKER_01]: Blending on these planets fighting orcs, they're dumb, they're green. [SPEAKER_01]: They're wildly not ready for this thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because of the full prepared. [SPEAKER_03]: They have no idea that they're going to make these things, because all of the time before it was hand-a-hand. [SPEAKER_03]: It was some shooting, but it was like the trucks, and it was nice things. [SPEAKER_03]: It was fighting a resistance force kind of thing. [SPEAKER_03]: And all of a sudden, you're like, yeah, man, they have Titans. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so yeah, they saw our titans and went. [SPEAKER_03]: And you're like, how long did it take on the build? [SPEAKER_03]: Those are like, in a time that is not actually realistically possible. [SPEAKER_03]: We're not sure, but they're all here now. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: They just decided that they could make this. [SPEAKER_01]: They breach the palace because the Orcs aren't going to move anything. [SPEAKER_01]: They get in there. [SPEAKER_01]: There is another, there is a thirty foot beast. [SPEAKER_01]: I use the word another because a lot of you know where I'm going with this, but where I can get there yet. [SPEAKER_03]: Also, I cannot recommend to get out of these books. [SPEAKER_01]: This is actually some of the better writing, especially a post-Harris season behind me. [SPEAKER_01]: The more the piece, the best, something post-Harris. [SPEAKER_03]: It's really fun for them. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the orcs are just a funny, orcs are always fun, but this is hilarious. [SPEAKER_01]: They go in, they realize what they could do maybe. [SPEAKER_01]: is using a pariah to use it. [SPEAKER_01]: Effectively invert the water. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's power. [SPEAKER_03]: Look, this pause is real quick. [SPEAKER_03]: Pariahs are negative as basically things that don't have an imprint in the work. [SPEAKER_03]: They don't have psychic. [SPEAKER_03]: They effectively don't have a soul. [SPEAKER_01]: They don't show up in the work. [SPEAKER_01]: And so the pariah actually attacks not the war boss, but the weird boys around him creates for those of us who played eighth edition and rolled a fourteen. [SPEAKER_01]: And our jump, the orc, weird boys being exploding, and that forest actually kills the giant. [SPEAKER_01]: Because again, orcs are effectively made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and they're made of sick and [SPEAKER_03]: Well, they, they psychically shot. [SPEAKER_03]: But again, real quick on this. [SPEAKER_03]: To back up, we, we touch them in multiple times, but I want to really hammer and home all works. [SPEAKER_03]: Eldar have this sophisticated tendrils of psychic energy. [SPEAKER_01]: We're all connected. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I can always feel the work. [SPEAKER_03]: Orcs are literally railroad tracks of psychic energy connects everybody. [SPEAKER_03]: That's just a thing. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: It's just, it's a hard wire. [SPEAKER_03]: It is the Christmas extension cord that is fifteen extension cords tucked together that are duct taped and they afraid about eighteen times, but your dad refuses to throw it away. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that is a fire hazard. [SPEAKER_03]: That is the connection that works have to each other. [SPEAKER_03]: It already is bad and they set explosives off inside of it. [SPEAKER_01]: They've now killed the beast again, at least they think so for a matter of maybe two minutes. [SPEAKER_01]: because in right after they kill this, this beast, you know what, screw this, we're doing this right now. [SPEAKER_03]: Is the beast the same all the time? [SPEAKER_03]: Is it another incarnation of that? [SPEAKER_01]: No, we're discussing this at lunch. [SPEAKER_01]: No, there are six of them. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't believe. [SPEAKER_01]: I believe, I believe, I believe, the books, I believe that there are six beasts. [SPEAKER_01]: They are all, it's a weird one. [SPEAKER_01]: Could they be like, or clones? [SPEAKER_01]: So not like clones. [SPEAKER_03]: I think they're a collective of the same [SPEAKER_01]: entity. [SPEAKER_01]: It could be that as soon as you kill one, it just possesses the next. [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I think. [SPEAKER_03]: I think is the orcs. [SPEAKER_03]: So I can be transferred and we'll show that later. [SPEAKER_01]: Either way, a new beast walks in the room and kills everyone in the room. [SPEAKER_03]: Like now. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Because everybody's standing around and they think they've won. [SPEAKER_03]: And then another version of the boss serves up in a hundred percent health and just murders everybody. [SPEAKER_03]: kind of before they know they're in a fight, and they just get ruin. [SPEAKER_03]: Just walks in. [SPEAKER_03]: We did it. [SPEAKER_03]: High five guys. [SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't challenge anybody. [SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't do anything. [SPEAKER_03]: He just starts just wrecking starts wamping and they'll get won't. [SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, the Imperium has to try again. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, they start cheating now. [SPEAKER_01]: This time they cheat and they do realize what work last time could work really well. [SPEAKER_01]: And they make a bomb out of a captured orksiker. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and they also bring the sisters of silence. [SPEAKER_01]: They build what they call an anti-wad device, which I've also seen written described as an inverted wall. [SPEAKER_01]: So instead of you just bring this bomb, he goes off and he sucks all this like energy out of every work within a certain radius. [SPEAKER_03]: Which is hilarious because they literally tried to defeat the orc horn. [SPEAKER_03]: This vicious horn unstoppable killing machine by making them sad. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they just kind of give up. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's really what they do. [SPEAKER_01]: If this actually does work. [SPEAKER_01]: You said you who want more details on this read the books. [SPEAKER_01]: I'd rather you adjust this, but that is kind of what they did is. [SPEAKER_01]: You made a sad bomb in all the arcs. [SPEAKER_01]: It did kill the beasts. [SPEAKER_01]: And then the rest of the arcs were just like, well, I mean, what's the point? [SPEAKER_03]: Also, there's like two or three more actually epic beast fights that were just glossing the fucker. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just there's only so much time. [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't know I would have to say like in the books there is six versions of this and all of them do not go down. [SPEAKER_03]: without a fight. [SPEAKER_01]: Going to my love of works is the aftermath of dealing with orcs. [SPEAKER_01]: They made a chapter. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they'd like to create the death watch because of this. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and the death watch is the, you know what, let's, let's call the death watch what it is. [SPEAKER_03]: The death watch is the Avengers project. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: They literally take Marines from all the chapters and they take the guys that have the best knowledge of the best history, the best pedigree of killing Zenos. [SPEAKER_03]: And they put them in one place and tell them [SPEAKER_03]: figure it out, make your own, like, no, there's no holds barred, make your own detachment, figure out how you want your organization to work, all you need to do is when we call you, you need to kill Zenos. [SPEAKER_01]: And to credit them, they actually, the Orcs probably saved humanity by doing this because not too long after the war of the beast is when they start bumping into much more aggressively dark L.R. [SPEAKER_01]: Eldar, this is going to come up a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: And eventually it's here. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's I do think that because of and they get really good at killing. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, that's what it because of mankind's fight with orcs actually prepared them for the tears. [SPEAKER_03]: Wildly not that is a big thing though. [SPEAKER_03]: And I do want to state this and I know it's an orc thing. [SPEAKER_03]: But like the appearing of man was wildly unprepared at this point in time for anything that wasn't chaos. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, or basically like us fights, you know, it could be just somebody that just rub out because a lot of systems, rub out. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, that that's what it was. [SPEAKER_01]: If you look through the history of it, there were all the Xenos fights that were having. [SPEAKER_01]: There were some, they were, there were three things. [SPEAKER_01]: Even when they fought works, it wasn't this level of organization, then they have the horse heresy, which is hard, but you're still fighting each other in these specific tactics. [SPEAKER_01]: and using your weapons. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, again, plague Marines, investigations, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. [SPEAKER_01]: But it's not quite the same. [SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, you all know at some point where you get the gas and we're going to get to gas because that is the ultimate in the story. [SPEAKER_01]: But before we get to gas, I want to just highlight some of Brad and my favorite stories of certain war bosses doing what I think are hilarious things. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back after a quick break. [SPEAKER_03]: You mean, like, zag strapped in the fact that storm storm boys by themselves, literally so effectively saw Marines with jump packs and win, we can do that too. [SPEAKER_03]: What are you going to do? [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to strap a canister to your back. [SPEAKER_03]: You're like, I don't think that's what they're doing. [SPEAKER_03]: Sure it is. [SPEAKER_03]: Sure it is. [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to light [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to look round. [SPEAKER_03]: You will on fire. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm going to put a rocket on your back and you're going to fly around with a pistol and a club. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's going to be awesome. [SPEAKER_03]: You're like, is that a rocket that will explode? [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe. [SPEAKER_01]: This actually might be my favorite story. [SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to go ahead and do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Zag struck with his storm boys are fighting the champagne. [SPEAKER_01]: Which are I for those you don't know, which chapter of Eldar are they Brad? [SPEAKER_03]: They are the Ricky Bobby Eldar. [SPEAKER_03]: One go fast. [SPEAKER_03]: They're the mounted. [SPEAKER_03]: They're the bike. [SPEAKER_03]: They're everybody that can go super fast. [SPEAKER_03]: Again, Eldar, COCD and go. [SPEAKER_03]: I'll show you. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Nice try. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to do the same thing for a thousand years. [SPEAKER_03]: But I spent the last two hundred years working on the clutch. [SPEAKER_03]: That's all I've been doing. [SPEAKER_03]: So, but they, they, they go super fast. [SPEAKER_03]: They are literally all the bike riders, but they are also a aggressive craft. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And they are fighting, but the, the Sam Hane, the elder for those, we're going to come this morning, the elder episode. [SPEAKER_01]: Elder really can't afford to die. [SPEAKER_01]: They actually do have to fall back pretty quickly because they don't have high numbers. [SPEAKER_01]: Elder, and they love to use the webways. [SPEAKER_01]: They jump out of nowhere, catch you off-garden, especially Sam Hing, go super fast and catch you. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're in a wall, which is the orcs. [SPEAKER_01]: The Sam Hing flee back to the webway. [SPEAKER_01]: And Zagstruck sees them going to the webway and goes, me too, grabs this through a voice. [SPEAKER_01]: You're not doing this. [SPEAKER_01]: You're not doing this. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm about to get into this psychotic mess of this. [SPEAKER_01]: The webway [SPEAKER_01]: is only used by the elder. [SPEAKER_01]: It also wasn't open. [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't open. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's my point. [SPEAKER_01]: Just with roadrunnered a cliff face. [SPEAKER_01]: Elder have been doing this for who knows how long millennia they've been jumping in and out of the web way and no one's been able to do anything about it. [SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden, Zack, Shark just went, yeah, I'm going in there too. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he in again, it was a close. [SPEAKER_01]: They went out of the way, way, way, way, way closed and Zag struck didn't even open, just flew through the two pillars and disappeared with his storm boys. [SPEAKER_01]: because apparently just believe he can again wrote or a belief in my favorite part of the story is this is it's in the code x is you guys can be these book they stories ten months later which is no time which is no time he just comes wandering into what is his word were party is the best part about this is extra doesn't talk about anything they'd like for him just like now that much time he did yeah he just shows up [SPEAKER_01]: Hills the guy who'd taken his place literally nothing about and then just gets back to staying and the liquor. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's do this guys. [SPEAKER_01]: And when notice is that he has some really shiny elder helmets that are hanging off his waist. [SPEAKER_01]: not a word and just like the story and also there's there's some very good exact struck kit bash models that that exist out there. [SPEAKER_01]: They're awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: They're really great. [SPEAKER_01]: I am a huge fan of Zag struck. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not in tentative. [SPEAKER_01]: You so. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm going to let you take this one because this is actually gets to we covered this one last time. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll briefly, but we're going to cover it again here because we need to. [SPEAKER_01]: Warbaugh's Tuskeh. [SPEAKER_01]: This is maybe every org player that I know is favorite story. [SPEAKER_01]: So Tuskeh is out there fighting kind of near the eye of terror and bumping into demons and goes well these things are awesome and decides to keep fighting the demons. [SPEAKER_03]: And he keeps getting closer to the other. [SPEAKER_03]: The terror gets up going into the other. [SPEAKER_03]: He keeps getting closer and closer because the closer he gets, the more cool fights he gets. [SPEAKER_03]: He gets all of a sudden. [SPEAKER_01]: He's not only in the eye of terror. [SPEAKER_01]: He's now fighting his way through the demonic worlds. [SPEAKER_01]: Until finally, he gets to one of Corn's main planets in which case he does lose that battle. [SPEAKER_01]: They get flatline. [SPEAKER_01]: But Corn goes, well, this is the greatest thing I've ever seen. [SPEAKER_01]: It also, I have no idea who these guys are, but this is great. [SPEAKER_01]: And I want to point out, Orcs will have souls on how he does this, but begins resurrecting the Orcs and just brings in his, whatever bloodthirsty of the day to fight them. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're joyous. [SPEAKER_01]: And as they're valid, this is that no one, no one could be happier than both of them at this point. [SPEAKER_03]: Which we should go into this real quick. [SPEAKER_03]: The chaos gods kind of no orcs exist. [SPEAKER_03]: And even though orcs are made of psychic, they don't have a psychic manifestation in the war, which is by design, you know what? [SPEAKER_03]: Fight me on an orc people. [SPEAKER_03]: And the old ones literally made them this way, so that they didn't ruin their at the time, plastic pond. [SPEAKER_02]: Seeks, ocean, orcs were done so much damage. [SPEAKER_03]: Correct. [SPEAKER_03]: But they don't. [SPEAKER_03]: They literally basically, they barely make a ripple in the war, even though they're made of psychic. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're most powerful. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: But I'm saying they don't pollute the war. [SPEAKER_03]: They don't do anything to it. [SPEAKER_01]: Another fun one is blood acts. [SPEAKER_01]: We're Boston. [SPEAKER_01]: Mad drug. [SPEAKER_01]: Blackx says you're just cool, period by the way. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Blackx says they only sneaky ork and take that for what it means. [SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, he is leading commandos. [SPEAKER_01]: They only sneaky orks. [SPEAKER_01]: What it orks do, Brad, and they see something cool. [SPEAKER_01]: They get it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So, what's they take it? [SPEAKER_01]: Is there anything cooler than a Titan? [SPEAKER_03]: No, because it's, there's a reason that they like shiny gets. [SPEAKER_01]: So Warbus Maddrog in his commandos, he sees a Titan on a planet and goes, what that? [SPEAKER_03]: Also, let's back up. [SPEAKER_03]: Titans are so large of vehicles that they have their own infrastructure, cities, marketplaces inside of them because there's so many people working in there that they have to have literally their, they're effectively mobile small cities. [SPEAKER_01]: It's an aircraft carrier that walks. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: And [SPEAKER_03]: He just rolls in and goes, I want that, and then takes kind of a long time to go about murder, hoboing, everybody that gets in his way. [SPEAKER_01]: One who works in the titan until they get to the middle bit, which is how you drive it. [SPEAKER_03]: And then, well, he kind of drives it. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, he can turn it on. [SPEAKER_03]: He gets his mech. [SPEAKER_03]: I was giving him more credit than you're giving. [SPEAKER_03]: You gave him your turn on. [SPEAKER_03]: I said he kind of drove it. [SPEAKER_01]: So it turned on. [SPEAKER_01]: We haven't done an episode on Titans, but the way that Titans function is you actually interact with it all a Pacific Rim. [SPEAKER_01]: But you know, more so that, considering I'm actually was a kind way of doing it. [SPEAKER_01]: You actually, almost, you would slay the people to this. [SPEAKER_01]: And the ship merges with its drivers to, and they become one entity. [SPEAKER_01]: They're not meant to merge with orcs. [SPEAKER_03]: like absolutely no. [SPEAKER_03]: And also, they don't disconnect a bunch of the other guys. [SPEAKER_03]: They just go, let's do what two of those guys are doing. [SPEAKER_01]: And leave all the rest of the guys who would have tried on. [SPEAKER_01]: So the Titan, because they actually are almost sentient. [SPEAKER_01]: Goes crazy. [SPEAKER_03]: And it goes crazy. [SPEAKER_03]: It just runs in a straight line murdering everything. [SPEAKER_01]: Just trying the entire, entire chunks of the planet as it just runs down the street shooting guns. [SPEAKER_03]: And that also literally goes to the most populated area of troops. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And they just blow the stuff the structure and killing everybody. [SPEAKER_01]: They took the imperial hundreds of years to recover in this area. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's what happens when you set off effectively a thousand nuclear bombs in down, not even talking down town, because you didn't kill civilians. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Think what do the middle of command? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: The largest military base on a planet blew the whole thing up. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're just going through fun stories here. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to just force it. [SPEAKER_03]: This is my least favorite though, because I hate the free booties. [SPEAKER_03]: I love and hate the free booties. [SPEAKER_03]: Actually, I don't hate the free. [SPEAKER_01]: Really? [SPEAKER_01]: You, you were just scolding me on having bad luck in my army list. [SPEAKER_03]: I love the free booties so much. [SPEAKER_01]: There is this way for it. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: So here's my de-offs. [SPEAKER_03]: I hate the free booties real so much, but I love the free booties stories because what free booties do is they take your shit and they make it orcs. [SPEAKER_03]: And they literally have exhibit with them because I don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: This is too late because they put my ride so hard. [SPEAKER_03]: They just take whatever they use. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a very good reference because my ride was famous for making cars a lot shittier while making them prettier on the exterior. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's actually quite accurate. [SPEAKER_03]: They take vehicles that they go, I like what happened there. [SPEAKER_03]: But what would happen if we put fourteen more guns and eleven seats? [SPEAKER_03]: You're like, why the seeds? [SPEAKER_03]: Because we can need guys to shoot the guns that we put on it. [SPEAKER_03]: You're like, how's that gonna work? [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know why you keep talking back to me about this. [SPEAKER_03]: Free booters are fantastic for this. [SPEAKER_03]: The reason I don't like free booters is we had a period of time in the game where [SPEAKER_03]: free food is where they, they, they made or it's not works. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they made or it's shoot yours. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but the actual free food a clan is fantastic because they will literally take anything that you're using. [SPEAKER_03]: Also, they do this to other works. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they just, other orcs dislike for you. [SPEAKER_03]: If you leave your shit alone for a myth, like if you look away, that guy is literally changing everything about your truck and driving away. [SPEAKER_03]: You're like, dude, I'm in the trucks. [SPEAKER_03]: No, you can't. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm right here. [SPEAKER_03]: I was unloading groceries. [SPEAKER_03]: I have my groceries. [SPEAKER_03]: It's like I put four guns on top. [SPEAKER_03]: And also spray paint in my name on it. [SPEAKER_03]: You're like, I'm literally standing inside. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I guess you're going for the ride, because this is mine now. [SPEAKER_03]: Free booters have the jankiest of jankiest. [SPEAKER_03]: I cannot explain it enough. [SPEAKER_03]: Their tech is so bad. [SPEAKER_03]: They make everything wildly worse. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry, free booters, but they do. [SPEAKER_03]: It works because they believe in it, but they take whatever they grab and make it so much worse. [SPEAKER_01]: This is a very fun story. [SPEAKER_01]: So, that but fire got and his free but a sea, a giant ship, unattended floating in the middle of nowhere and decide, well, I like that one. [SPEAKER_03]: Spoiler alert. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a tear-to-chance. [SPEAKER_01]: It's here to buy a ship. [SPEAKER_01]: So of course, they do what would a pirate do. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm going to harpoon it and drag it back to my planet. [SPEAKER_01]: So they hard put it hard dragging it. [SPEAKER_01]: Jean's those and gods come really flying out of it. [SPEAKER_01]: No, they come running it down the harpoon chains to which [SPEAKER_01]: The freeboard is go. [SPEAKER_01]: Awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: I think they know we're going to find this state. [SPEAKER_01]: We're just going to sit here and shoot at them. [SPEAKER_01]: while they run down the chains and we drag it. [SPEAKER_03]: Also, why do the free booters have miles long chains to shoot? [SPEAKER_03]: Because that is what they're coming down. [SPEAKER_03]: They're coming up just long. [SPEAKER_03]: They shoot chains in a space almost, basically. [SPEAKER_01]: They shoot chains in the lower part. [SPEAKER_01]: Horns would change them. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this was a whaling vessel, effectively, with a whale full of many very angry whales. [SPEAKER_01]: But my favorite part of this story is after dragging this thing for what could have been months, they just start getting bored of shooting the tear and everything the tear. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's because they buy a ship keeps making more things. [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't stop and they go, wow, it's started. [SPEAKER_01]: And so they just unhook the harpoons and leave it. [SPEAKER_01]: And just over an Imperial city, let me get over a densely populated Imperial star system, because they just went whatever, and they leave it there. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Imperial service system has what was effectively a dying, tyranny, bio-ship, just in their orbit now. [SPEAKER_03]: heavily defended. [SPEAKER_03]: It was a regular system that was like, hey, we're in charge of making all the hubcaps for all the Lehman Rossus. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll hope with a space marines in nearby because they were not. [SPEAKER_03]: They were not. [SPEAKER_03]: So I do love me some big mix. [SPEAKER_01]: Of course. [SPEAKER_01]: So that Brad do grubbork. [SPEAKER_03]: Is this a first shot attack? [SPEAKER_01]: I think it might be. [SPEAKER_01]: It's the first mechanized shock attack. [SPEAKER_01]: So we'll go with it. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, grab our builds. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm gone. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's a ship, but it's not. [SPEAKER_03]: He legitimately, and this is why I love everything about this, because he does, you know, I'm going to go away old school. [SPEAKER_03]: He does Decepticon magic in AD style transformers and builds Megatron when Megatron used to just turn into a gun. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And he makes that out of a ship. [SPEAKER_03]: The ship flies, but I really feel that the ship flies just because it works believe it flies. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: He makes a gun [SPEAKER_03]: with basically rockets on the back of it to make it go places. [SPEAKER_03]: And he makes a shock attack on which is the best work weapon in the world. [SPEAKER_01]: If GW makes the rules for shock attack on just a little bit good, we all play them in the same. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: A shock attack on literally says, I'm going to shoot snout links. [SPEAKER_03]: What are you going to do with them? [SPEAKER_03]: Hold, please. [SPEAKER_03]: How about we make the snottlings go through the warp and just find out what happens afterwards? [SPEAKER_03]: And then just propel that really fast at people. [SPEAKER_03]: What's going to happen? [SPEAKER_03]: Ma'am? [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_03]: Probably stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: Snottlings probably not going to make it. [SPEAKER_03]: But so he starts firing starlies, which is the hilariously the ammunition of a shock attack on, which again [SPEAKER_03]: goes, hey, grab some warp while you're in there. [SPEAKER_03]: And then we're going to go there. [SPEAKER_03]: And you go, what do you mean by grabbing more up? [SPEAKER_03]: You'll figure it out. [SPEAKER_02]: I haven't, but a triple shock attack guy. [SPEAKER_02]: He's so many. [SPEAKER_02]: So fun. [SPEAKER_02]: It was so great. [SPEAKER_03]: But he runs out of snoutlings. [SPEAKER_03]: And then just kind of goes, hey, guys, wonder what's in here? [SPEAKER_03]: And then it starts kicking or it's into it. [SPEAKER_03]: I do that in my mind. [SPEAKER_03]: That's not exactly how I describe it. [SPEAKER_01]: But basically is how we did it. [SPEAKER_01]: Again, kicking the orcs into it. [SPEAKER_01]: So one of the orgs doesn't like this and decides to flip the switch from suck to blow. [SPEAKER_01]: If you don't get that reference, it's because you're not forwarding. [SPEAKER_01]: Spaceballs for life. [SPEAKER_01]: Spaceballs is not even a great movie, but it is a quite funny. [SPEAKER_01]: John Kennedy was a talent. [SPEAKER_01]: Instead of sucking up orgs and shooting them at the planet, it sucks the planet into the shock attack gun. [SPEAKER_01]: But shoots in, which then shoots, tries to shoot into the planet. [SPEAKER_01]: A warp speed in planet at the other side. [SPEAKER_01]: You just say this explodes. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's a new asteroid belt in the middle of the universe. [SPEAKER_01]: But in good news, I mean, this gun did technically work. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back after a quick break. [SPEAKER_01]: So we have to get, if we're talking about more cleaters, there is one. [SPEAKER_01]: And only one. [SPEAKER_01]: Gas go through. [SPEAKER_01]: There we go. [SPEAKER_01]: This is the meanest. [SPEAKER_01]: He's the brainiest and the luckiest. [SPEAKER_03]: He's especially the luckiest by the way. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's what he's known as. [SPEAKER_01]: Of course he is. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, McCarrie, but we'll say, well, when I say, gas go, I consider McCarrie to be part of the car. [SPEAKER_03]: He's part of gas. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I kind of gas go. [SPEAKER_03]: So that that's a big deal on this. [SPEAKER_03]: And gas go. [SPEAKER_03]: Actually, wasn't. [SPEAKER_03]: a fluke. [SPEAKER_03]: Gazgol paid his dues. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, Gazgol has earned his right up. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, Gazgol was just random guy and went through an eighties montage of pum, killing people, fighting, being the biggest and the best. [SPEAKER_03]: And also, again, still the luckiest because he was also the luckiest when he was still just a boy. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're going to do a little spoiler here. [SPEAKER_01]: You guys go dies a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: Him and Vulcan, actually, maybe they took who's died more than Vulcan. [SPEAKER_01]: But I'm going to say, and guess is not a perpetual, but orcs can be if they want to be. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, they also just decided that they wasn't dead. [SPEAKER_03]: So they just believed him back into being. [SPEAKER_03]: like a lot actually. [SPEAKER_03]: I was going to say several, but I mean, it's correct because it's just more than three, Gasko dies. [SPEAKER_03]: They get Gasko's parts back and just kind of duct tape him back together. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, so Gasko is invading a space marine base and loses terribly with a bunch of his buddies. [SPEAKER_03]: like bad. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, bad. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to go into it because it's a, it's an embarrassing loss. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a bunch of gases buddies try to go and overtake an entire space marine base and say they don't think there was like five. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there was a five with them. [SPEAKER_01]: You have five orcs against. [SPEAKER_01]: They had a poll. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: What if we just hit them hard? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like a bunch of guys went, yeah, man, we're standing here holding watch. [SPEAKER_03]: It's like we're just going to kill these guys, right? [SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to cover in future episodes, what a pain boy does. [SPEAKER_01]: But gas's body is then sold to a very specific pain boy named Mad Duck Grots. [SPEAKER_01]: And Mad Duck's awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: That's awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: Good model. [SPEAKER_01]: But Mad Duck just takes us by this work body and starts experimenting on saying, well, what if I just like, [SPEAKER_01]: put a bunch of wires in this brain and put a big adamantium plates. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's a big deal though, because you don't for this. [SPEAKER_03]: Gazgol is, no, I am killable because now he has an adamantium skull. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: He used to be one of his attacks, by the way. [SPEAKER_03]: So like Gazgol now has something that other works don't, which is he has an unkillable hat. [SPEAKER_01]: he dies while Bob Maddock does this sort of kind of, and he's out in the back. [SPEAKER_01]: So just shut that with a garbage and the rest of the dead orcs and McCarrie, who's a nobody grot at this point. [SPEAKER_03]: He was literally dooding his body. [SPEAKER_01]: He blew the robots, wakes him up in the process of looting his body from parts. [SPEAKER_01]: And as gas wakes up, he has a vision of gork and or more. [SPEAKER_01]: telling him what he has to be. [SPEAKER_01]: And they expressed to him, and guys can't really follow it at this point, but he is, he is, yes. [SPEAKER_03]: Let's go into this though, because when he grabs McCarray, the vision quest to gather. [SPEAKER_01]: McCarray's, this grunt comes with him on his vision to see. [SPEAKER_03]: But also in the vision, it's gas and, oh, crap, you know, this is why I don't read all the notes beforehand, because sometimes it's, it's surprised to me too. [SPEAKER_03]: So literally, gas and Maccari are together on this vision quest, but gas sees Maccari with him. [SPEAKER_03]: And now decides, Maccari has to go everywhere with him because the orc gods have commanded it. [SPEAKER_01]: Is there destiny? [SPEAKER_01]: He's my, he's my banner bear. [SPEAKER_01]: And there's some fun stories of Maccari will make it to or not about him murdering everyone. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and he decides that he now has powered up, and because of that vision, he is now the chosen one of Gork and Mark, and Makari is his banner waiver, and Makari has to be there in all times with him, because he saw it in the vision. [SPEAKER_03]: I forgot that he saw it together. [SPEAKER_01]: I knew the vision. [SPEAKER_01]: He looked into his eye, and then through the eye, they saw it right together. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, Gaz has a purpose. [SPEAKER_01]: And I will say, there's nothing more terrifying than an orc with a purpose because they commit. [SPEAKER_01]: And he decides first thing I'm going to do. [SPEAKER_03]: What the big blow is back. [SPEAKER_03]: Gaz was just random Ted. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Gaz is not he's not. [SPEAKER_01]: He's not more boss. [SPEAKER_03]: He's not more boss at all. [SPEAKER_03]: No, Gaz was not even gas. [SPEAKER_03]: This is really time. [SPEAKER_03]: He's just ten. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, gas, gas goes in a vision quest. [SPEAKER_03]: Get some of car angles. [SPEAKER_03]: I am the chosen of the work gods. [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm the leader of the orcs and goes, this is happening. [SPEAKER_03]: So he went from Ted to the chosen one right now. [SPEAKER_01]: Right now, one thing I that I actually was trying to find and someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I mean, gas even nob's size at this point. [SPEAKER_01]: He was just [SPEAKER_01]: an orc. [SPEAKER_03]: He's he's semi juxtap. [SPEAKER_03]: Gratsnik, uh, getting what he got. [SPEAKER_03]: He's got the enemy in the school already. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And he's already got the, um, he effectively has biomechanical shit. [SPEAKER_01]: He does, but what I'm getting at though is that we talk about us in the last episode. [SPEAKER_01]: Orcs get bigger the more they conquest. [SPEAKER_01]: So with Orcs. [SPEAKER_01]: So gas is not a, like, war boss who's now going to, gas is an orc who's about to become the most power for war boss in the galaxy. [SPEAKER_03]: The, at the time, I think he's [SPEAKER_01]: Actually, first thing, gas has to go do is conquer the closest settlement, which is a death skull settlement. [SPEAKER_01]: Gas walks in, says, I'm in charge. [SPEAKER_01]: Their war boss says, nope, nope, and proceeds, because a death skull shoot him with all of his guns. [SPEAKER_03]: Every single one missed, did he matrix it? [SPEAKER_03]: Did Gork and Mark get in the way and deflect all the bullets? [SPEAKER_03]: Is it just because he's the one and he put his hand up and the bullets didn't go there? [SPEAKER_03]: Either way, he gets hit zero time. [SPEAKER_01]: I've been playing Orcs for years. [SPEAKER_01]: I've rolled those shots. [SPEAKER_01]: He was still in a fight for the record. [SPEAKER_01]: Like he was still, he was probably just standing toe in a forest. [SPEAKER_01]: That was impossible. [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, gas then. [SPEAKER_03]: leaps up and pummel's in and a key thing to Brad's point is that guys used to have an attack that was the headbutt just about to say this is the first time because he he starts you it used to be a devastating attack to but he uses it this is a signature move by the way if you're doing wrestling this is a signature move that headbutt he has no because he's got an anti-manit anti-manium skull so he literally [SPEAKER_03]: crushes the other guy's skull with his admanium skull and goes like I was saying I'm in charge now and because orgs have org rules they went yeah of course you're like no one even bothers yeah they go yeah yeah he's in charge like what why are you telling us this we already know this is clear like just fill out the paperwork man we're out here the next thing guys has to though is conquer the [SPEAKER_01]: It's Nasdaqa, who is a bad moon. [SPEAKER_01]: And so we have to do then, but the bad moon leader decides to play it at distance. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to use my, I mean, my super fast yellow battle wagon. [SPEAKER_01]: So it wasn't as fast as a red one, but it was very pupue. [SPEAKER_01]: Guys, it's not just a brute force. [SPEAKER_01]: He's also a thinking or cunning, but yes, and he decides to use the cunning this time. [SPEAKER_01]: and lights a bunch of tire fires to block out this thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Again, when I say he's cunning, he was or cunning. [SPEAKER_01]: So he keeps fighting me from a distance. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, what if he couldn't see any more? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that would affect his ability. [SPEAKER_01]: Block out the sun. [SPEAKER_01]: I said it. [SPEAKER_03]: And then they get up close and personal at an epic battle takes place, but it doesn't take place because Gasko wins in like eight seconds. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he has those goes. [SPEAKER_01]: Gotcha. [SPEAKER_03]: Like, I heard you guys were really good at shooting and not that graded punching. [SPEAKER_01]: So it turns out I'm incredible at it at punching. [SPEAKER_03]: And then they fought the gals which are [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's become hit. [SPEAKER_01]: It becomes, it is adopted. [SPEAKER_01]: One of my favorite stories about the golf store, and we'll just do it really quick, is he gets in a fight with a golf leader, and they have a one-on-one, and they decide to have a headbutt. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, God. [SPEAKER_03]: This shows the worst thing ever that you could have chose so many other things. [SPEAKER_03]: He could have chose push-ups. [SPEAKER_03]: He could have chose hit in each other with chop-ups. [SPEAKER_03]: He could have chose anything. [SPEAKER_03]: He chose headbutting. [SPEAKER_03]: with the guy, with the animancy, I'm scared. [SPEAKER_03]: It, spoiler alert, it goes real bad for the guy who just spots him into the ground. [SPEAKER_01]: And my favorite part is the knobs who support this war boss are laughing and don't like at their leader being knocked the foot of the ground. [SPEAKER_01]: And then gas walks over and head butts all of them unconscious and wanders off. [SPEAKER_01]: Because why not? [SPEAKER_01]: So he has now conquered the planet. [SPEAKER_01]: And he begins telling the Orcs, I'm not about this planet. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm about everything. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're also, where are we going to go? [SPEAKER_01]: You're going that way. [SPEAKER_01]: And everyone, and know that this coincides perfectly with a massive shift in the warp. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's the great tale. [SPEAKER_03]: I love the fact that a Space Hulk showed he has to literally says he effectively ends his sentence and goes, we're going to conquer everything and they go, what? [SPEAKER_03]: And he goes everything and a Space Hulk shows up right over it. [SPEAKER_01]: Right above them and he goes and points to this giant chunk. [SPEAKER_01]: And when we say Space Hulk for those who don't know what Space Hulk is, it's a [SPEAKER_01]: giant chunk of derelict, but not all in shit. [SPEAKER_03]: Although it's, it's like hundreds of ships. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And when we see ships, I mean, gigantic, like, star destroyers from space, star wars. [SPEAKER_03]: It's all of these jam together and the effectively fused. [SPEAKER_01]: Guys, this tells everyone the planet, go get in the ship. [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, was a ship empty, Brad? [SPEAKER_01]: It was empty of life. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's very full. [SPEAKER_01]: It was very full of demons. [SPEAKER_01]: Very, very full of demons. [SPEAKER_01]: which it's stopped being full of demons once all the works got up. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a beat down on the demons. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this is a like, eighty to three. [SPEAKER_03]: They got a field goal, one point in time. [SPEAKER_03]: This is a slaughter fest. [SPEAKER_03]: It is just a jumping point to show that gas is awesome kind of thing. [SPEAKER_03]: And he is, but the thing is is why he is awesome. [SPEAKER_03]: Gas goal is [SPEAKER_03]: dreaming with warp essence, which is what a wag is. [SPEAKER_03]: He is, again, gas is a blowtorch that is firing up the wag. [SPEAKER_01]: He then takes this ship after killing all the demons and begins heading into space. [SPEAKER_01]: Although a fun side note, he didn't. [SPEAKER_01]: He killed all the demons. [SPEAKER_01]: But the demons keep coming back and they had to fight them again, which to we talked about earlier ends up really helping New York's out because it gives them something to do. [SPEAKER_01]: So as they're moving through those open space, start about part of this. [SPEAKER_03]: He literally starts with effectively, which is a bunch of boys. [SPEAKER_03]: Any shows up on his first planet with a bunch of knobs because they all [SPEAKER_01]: level up the whole fight thus begins the second war of Armageddon aka ulanor aka suck at emperor he's renamed his ship world killer w u r l d k i l l a it's why not because why not he'll arrive in the Armageddon system [SPEAKER_01]: He detects the main planet, which is ulnar. [SPEAKER_03]: And then... Also, his planet has not had a great spot. [SPEAKER_03]: But the way this planet is armed to the teeth. [SPEAKER_03]: It is way, this place is where the beast was. [SPEAKER_01]: This is where the angron was just here. [SPEAKER_01]: And the angron was there too. [SPEAKER_01]: I forgot about that. [SPEAKER_01]: This is a big, like, worth it. [SPEAKER_03]: This place is literally goes, hey, why have one gun when you could have forty-three guns? [SPEAKER_03]: They have literally made this planet comically armed. [SPEAKER_03]: It is surrounded by nothing but death satellites. [SPEAKER_03]: The entire planet is a fortress of I'm going to murder you if you show up. [SPEAKER_03]: And again, in [SPEAKER_03]: roadrunner style, they go re-entries dumb. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: I just refuse to accept that it exists. [SPEAKER_03]: Why don't we just land this thing that does not have atmospheric flight and engines are being honest. [SPEAKER_01]: And they just crash word killer into the plant. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Imperial Guard are just looking out that. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, this sucks. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, good. [SPEAKER_01]: All the orgs just came flying out of it. [SPEAKER_03]: This is kind of weird though, because he does the whole work thing, which is, Gazgo starts with the comical roadrunner. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't believe this happens like just crash. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, something like, can't I'm going to land my not landable thing. [SPEAKER_03]: into the planet, that happens. [SPEAKER_03]: But then he actually like randomly becomes tactical master and sends part of his force out to soften them up, to lure them into thinking that they are the same works they've always fought, which is just kind of a wave of everyone. [SPEAKER_03]: And as long as we can figure this out, we can do it. [SPEAKER_03]: Any starts trapping. [SPEAKER_03]: and setting them up and taking, almost no losses, even though he's killing so many tactics, a lot of tactics. [SPEAKER_01]: However, despite all these tactics, he does run into one small problem. [SPEAKER_01]: Commissar Yark. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Yark exists. [SPEAKER_01]: Yark exists. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, Yark doesn't exist anymore. [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: Yark existed. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't the closet over there. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't. [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't [SPEAKER_03]: You're like, should we do it any different? [SPEAKER_03]: Nope. [SPEAKER_01]: Not a hundred percent, just Danny Glover's yard. [SPEAKER_01]: Give him a power claw. [SPEAKER_01]: Our Rick is in charge of one of the highs, which is Hades. [SPEAKER_01]: And guys run is the most the rest of the planet, but this one laugh of Lee Rollster begins giving him problem. [SPEAKER_01]: The stubborn defenses, as we said, orcs like a good fight, but gas has also trying to lead all the orcs. [SPEAKER_01]: And so he can't lose. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't he can't lose anything. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the problem. [SPEAKER_01]: And so he turns he just starts seeing this these losses. [SPEAKER_03]: He could have everything he could have legitimately left this high of a loan and just went [SPEAKER_03]: You're surrounded, you can't do anything, but he took it as a personal offense. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and begins attacking. [SPEAKER_01]: And the next note I do have here is, hey, Brad, how do you remove an orc investigation? [SPEAKER_03]: I would try fire mainly because they're spores and also they're wearing t-shirts. [SPEAKER_01]: So, and is there any space marine chapter that's really going to fire? [SPEAKER_03]: I would go with, uh, you can take blood angels, but uh, they showed up, but wait a second. [SPEAKER_03]: Let me carry the one, my favorite space chapter, main chapter, which is the Salamanders. [SPEAKER_01]: They show up with, yes, all of the flame weapons and actually begin turning the tide. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they have to show up behind them. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and above them, they'd be an orbital bombarding. [SPEAKER_01]: And the gas is just not on the planet anymore. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's another thing. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, gas, we talked about gas, possibly dying a billion times. [SPEAKER_03]: Gork and Mark are like, nah, we chose this guy, but gas is just gone. [SPEAKER_03]: They flatline the arts. [SPEAKER_01]: The ones doing it. [SPEAKER_01]: And begin rebuilding the planet's defenses primarily. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, again, also I can't begin to stress how laughably ridiculous. [SPEAKER_03]: Forty K is about certain planets that they decide that they're defending. [SPEAKER_03]: They literally do comic style, gun on top of gun on top of gun on top of fortress. [SPEAKER_03]: Like, hey man, is that two thousand guns a mile in the sky? [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, do you think we need more? [SPEAKER_01]: probably. [SPEAKER_01]: Guys is in space. [SPEAKER_01]: Andy the science. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that didn't go right. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what'll make it go right? [SPEAKER_01]: More works. [SPEAKER_03]: You said, I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_03]: You said more works. [SPEAKER_03]: I said, how about all of your works? [SPEAKER_03]: And he grabs, yes, everybody. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, when, if I could only give you the meme, I would give it from Leon, sorry, the professional. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: Gary, you'll be every one. [SPEAKER_03]: And he does. [SPEAKER_01]: Armageddon has rebuilt their defenses. [SPEAKER_01]: The planet is now hovered in anti-aircraft anti vehicle anti. [SPEAKER_03]: You know what they didn't have anti though? [SPEAKER_03]: Random shit falling from the sky. [SPEAKER_03]: Guess it's gas and brings in all of that old space old stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: But he brought a bunch more and just because remember what I randomly loony to landed and didn't [SPEAKER_03]: laws of physics ignored them. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna, I'm not gonna ignore the laws of physics this time and I'm just gonna. [SPEAKER_03]: take giant debris and fully into the planet. [SPEAKER_03]: And then real fast. [SPEAKER_01]: And that debris called rock are okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: They were there. [SPEAKER_01]: It's but are okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Lans in the planet with orcs in it, but also gases. [SPEAKER_01]: Max newest invention. [SPEAKER_01]: The teleporter. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, which isn't a real invention. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I actually brought an I've discussed this. [SPEAKER_01]: We both believe teleporters don't do actually do anything or just believe they do and it works teleport themselves. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, Alexie. [SPEAKER_03]: It is literally, they put it again, and act me, X on the ground. [SPEAKER_03]: And say, I can now teleport here. [SPEAKER_03]: You can always have done that. [SPEAKER_03]: But now you just need to stand on the spray painted X on the ground. [SPEAKER_01]: It's done in the XML arrived there. [SPEAKER_01]: The planet is on. [SPEAKER_03]: This is big though because the cunning part of gas on this is he sends a bunch of debris down and he doesn't start sending orks until the middle of it. [SPEAKER_03]: So he just throws random trash that blows up. [SPEAKER_03]: He's literally again, he's sending buildings down on the defenders. [SPEAKER_03]: And there's nothing in them. [SPEAKER_03]: There's just buildings, just trashing, trashing, trashing, trashing, and this happens for a while. [SPEAKER_03]: It's only through one thing. [SPEAKER_01]: There's a plan just keeps getting more and more. [SPEAKER_03]: But he doesn't, there's no orcs until later, you know, like he throws all the stuff down and then he's actually [SPEAKER_03]: This is actually a really cool plan to be honest with you. [SPEAKER_03]: Because he throws on this trashed on on the planet. [SPEAKER_03]: And then they're trying to deal with it, do we blow it up? [SPEAKER_03]: Do we try to shoot it down? [SPEAKER_03]: It's too big to do anything about because it's literally a giant skyscraper crashing down on us from orbit. [SPEAKER_03]: But then all of a sudden, hours in, or start coming out. [SPEAKER_03]: And also, or start finding starting fights because Orcs landed on the planet, and they didn't even know Orcs were on the planet. [SPEAKER_03]: Like, they start fighting people. [SPEAKER_03]: And then all of a sudden, you get reports of, hey, we're fighting guys right now. [SPEAKER_03]: Like, that's what's going on right now. [SPEAKER_03]: Anyone have an idea? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: The invasion of Armageddon, though, is the Brad said earlier, is not just one planet. [SPEAKER_01]: Remember, he said, we're opening all the Yorks. [SPEAKER_01]: All the Yorks. [SPEAKER_01]: This is Gal, beginning to begin moving into a galaxy wide level of invasion. [SPEAKER_01]: And this, the Imperium has to do something, because it's not about losing Armageddon anymore. [SPEAKER_01]: It's about losing everything, everything. [SPEAKER_03]: And the only, the biggest thing, the actually, I actually think the Imperium would have lost if the Yorks [SPEAKER_03]: thought to win and not justify. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because the orcs only find in places where they can pick a fight. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: So they're not picking out [SPEAKER_03]: Supply logistics. [SPEAKER_01]: They're not left with the imperial dozens. [SPEAKER_01]: They literally turn the entire greater system wide, everything, anything within light years of Armageddon turns into a war effort. [SPEAKER_01]: Where it is, we are going to fight these orcs not only to kill them, but also just to contain them. [SPEAKER_01]: Because if they continue to expand, they would have actually conquered the galaxy. [SPEAKER_03]: The the Imperium does do something smart, which is they give the orcs places to fight. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, they effectively challenge the orcs by fortifying places and the orcs just can't help themselves. [SPEAKER_03]: They they want to find so they go to the fortified places. [SPEAKER_03]: They could have just went, I'm going to go to Seoul. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I go to sold, but I can just, I could start just hitting agricultural worlds. [SPEAKER_03]: I could hit industrial engineering. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm saying they didn't try to kill their logistics. [SPEAKER_03]: They went wherever there was a bunch of guys that were willing to fight them. [SPEAKER_01]: That's where they fought. [SPEAKER_01]: In the middle of this, though, guys. [SPEAKER_01]: It starts to get almost bored. [SPEAKER_01]: This isn't what he's, he realizes that this isn't what he's meant to do. [SPEAKER_01]: This war, the war domicaten is big, but it's not Gorgon, Mark big. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not vision question. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I have to go. [SPEAKER_01]: So we actually, sleeps. [SPEAKER_01]: While the wall arm again is happening, just, this is random too. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it just gets up and grabs some of the boys for scumsis. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you guys, I'm kind of tired now. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not gonna go on. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna just, and this appears back in. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you also start to get wrecked when that happens? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, as soon as he leaves, because gas has a connection. [SPEAKER_01]: We talk about war bosses. [SPEAKER_01]: Warbauses lead almost scientifically with their forces. [SPEAKER_01]: So when he's gone, the works start to kind of fall apart and they kind of ruined. [SPEAKER_01]: It just starts to run in through them. [SPEAKER_01]: Then takes us to kind of what I would call the modernist part of Forty K, which is Armageddon is still raging. [SPEAKER_01]: There's gas has now left the galaxy and now he's had a new vision. [SPEAKER_03]: But his vision is [SPEAKER_03]: One, gas, nose, gork, and or more has told him where every single orc empire is in the entire galaxy. [SPEAKER_03]: He now just knows. [SPEAKER_03]: He just, it's not a, I'm going to look it up. [SPEAKER_03]: He just knows. [SPEAKER_03]: He vision question it. [SPEAKER_03]: He knows where every work army is. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't, sorry, not army. [SPEAKER_03]: Empires. [SPEAKER_03]: And he is now, I am going to unite the tribe. [SPEAKER_03]: He's going to Robert the Bruce. [SPEAKER_03]: He is going to unite the tribes. [SPEAKER_03]: He is going to, you know, I cannot be stopped with my old movie or I'm not as you will not be up with old movie reference. [SPEAKER_03]: And he is going to get every single orc in. [SPEAKER_03]: all of the empires, not one work alive is kind of, I leave no work behind. [SPEAKER_03]: He is getting every single one of them, and they're all going to unite behind him in fight, the final battle. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, what's the nickname, Ragnarok, which come on. [SPEAKER_03]: I did want to say that, but like, come on, yeah, come on. [SPEAKER_01]: You didn't, you didn't work, or cannot. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you could have had some fun with this, but, and he starts, I mean, we don't even have enough time to go into this. [SPEAKER_03]: This could be like, fifteen by two. [SPEAKER_03]: He does, he does this in epic conquest. [SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't just like fight the guy and beat him. [SPEAKER_03]: He does these epic feats to show the Orcs that he is the chosen one. [SPEAKER_03]: And he is going to lead them to the Promised Land. [SPEAKER_03]: Follow me. [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to kill everybody. [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to wreck this. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to give you the best fights ever. [SPEAKER_03]: And he does this in such a great way. [SPEAKER_03]: because every single one is this epic level quest that he completes and then gets a system, two systems. [SPEAKER_03]: What however big that work empires, he gets all of them behind him to follow him now. [SPEAKER_03]: And he is literally accidentally leading the biggest walk ever. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's kind of a walk without him. [SPEAKER_03]: It has a end game purpose, but it also has no purpose. [SPEAKER_03]: So he has to kind of [SPEAKER_01]: We're at the modern part. [SPEAKER_01]: Now we've caught up to what we've come modern forty k forty one k and we're going to in guys is now leading a true a true well the true how about this the true list the true is what [SPEAKER_01]: with this with Gazz Lee, the one story I did like, the King of thinking about the Octares books, was that all of a sudden, Gazz can actually feel and command Orcs from across the galaxy. [SPEAKER_01]: He's, his was so powerful that he actually is reaching through the stars and commanding forces everywhere. [SPEAKER_01]: Which is intangence time, which is terrifying. [SPEAKER_01]: This is, this is a power theory, it's don't have. [SPEAKER_01]: This is a power, not cross, I have no species has this power, where you have one leader [SPEAKER_01]: I guess it's him in the emperor, that level of power of him in the emperor where they can actually contact and control across the galaxy. [SPEAKER_03]: He's fighting multiple fronts under him at the same time with instantaneous communication. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's orcs. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's scary. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So with that, we'll take a break. [SPEAKER_01]: I recognize there's a lot of details we didn't get into on this one, but because there's a limit to this thing called time. [SPEAKER_01]: From there, take a break. [SPEAKER_01]: just to give you guys a taste and we're going to move into our will be our third and final episode on orcs. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to focus more about the technology and weapons and some of our favorite orc units and also why we play works. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much for listening. [SPEAKER_01]: Again, please join our discord. [SPEAKER_01]: Follow us on Facebook and like and subscribe to the podcast. [SPEAKER_01]: Please give us a positive review. [SPEAKER_01]: If you have a negative review, write on someone else's. [SPEAKER_01]: But with that, I'm John Barsai. [SPEAKER_01]: This is Brad Chester. [SPEAKER_01]: This guy. [SPEAKER_01]: Have a wonderful evening. [UNKNOWN]: you
