<v Speaker 2>My big Foot Sightings began in America's Georgia in twenty
<v Speaker 2>twenty two. My name is Scott Hunt, and I work
<v Speaker 2>for engineering company and I work all over the country.
<v Speaker 2>And in July twenty twenty two, I was working down
<v Speaker 2>in America's Georgia, and I do I was doing mapping
<v Speaker 2>for a project we were doing down there. So I
<v Speaker 2>was looking along the side of the roads for different obstacles,
<v Speaker 2>things like that the crews would have to encounter. And
<v Speaker 2>so I was mapping all of that into the computer.
<v Speaker 2>And I happened to be sitting on the side of
<v Speaker 2>a road. It was a hot Guly day, just sweltering hot,
<v Speaker 2>down in southern Georgia. I was in the middle of
<v Speaker 2>a bunch of pine trees where they grow the trees
<v Speaker 2>for the paper mills, So it was just miles of trees,
<v Speaker 2>and I was on the side of the road putting
<v Speaker 2>some stuff in the computer, and I just happened to
<v Speaker 2>look up and saw this figure walk across the road.
<v Speaker 2>And me, being what I do for the engineering company,
<v Speaker 2>I know the distances on roads. Standard road is thirty
<v Speaker 2>three feet right away on each side, so at sixty
<v Speaker 2>six feet and so where this creature came out of
<v Speaker 2>the trees at and went to the other side was
<v Speaker 2>sixty six feet. It takes me twenty two steps. I
<v Speaker 2>got a three foot stride, so it takes me twenty
<v Speaker 2>two steps to cover the same distance this thing covered
<v Speaker 2>it into about sixty seven steps and just glided across
<v Speaker 2>the road. It was just all I could see was
<v Speaker 2>a solid black figure. I couldn't make out any hair
<v Speaker 2>or anything like that, but it was a solid black
<v Speaker 2>figure just walking across the road. I'm sure that he
<v Speaker 2>didn't hear me because I'd been sitting on the side
<v Speaker 2>of the road idling while i was doing my paperwork.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, normally they might hear vehicles coming down
<v Speaker 2>the road and they would wait till vehicles just across
<v Speaker 2>the road. And I just happened to look up at
<v Speaker 2>the right time and this creatures walked across the road.
<v Speaker 2>I wasn't really shocked. I never had even thought about
<v Speaker 2>Bigfoot being in our area. I was like most other people.
<v Speaker 2>They hear stories about up in Washington, up in the
<v Speaker 2>dense woods, or in the himalays Is or some of
<v Speaker 2>these other countries, the yetties, and so you know, my
<v Speaker 2>mind wasn't even thinking anything about Bigfoot at the time.
<v Speaker 2>But you know, I saw it cross the road and
<v Speaker 2>I put the car in gear. I drove up to
<v Speaker 2>where it was at, which was a couple of hundred
<v Speaker 2>feet up in front of I mean, and there was
<v Speaker 2>a hole in the bushes there where the game trail.
<v Speaker 2>The game had been going in and out through there,
<v Speaker 2>and that's where it crossed the road at Like I say,
<v Speaker 2>it was over one hundred degree day. I had the
<v Speaker 2>air conditioner just wide open, and there was nobody in
<v Speaker 2>a suit. You know, this thing glided across the road
<v Speaker 2>the the strip. That's like I said, seven steps across
<v Speaker 2>that road, and you know it takes me twenty two
<v Speaker 2>so I knew it wasn't a human. The head wasn't bobbing.
<v Speaker 2>It was just glided across the road, almost like an apparition.
<v Speaker 2>But you know, it was solid. It wasn't like a
<v Speaker 2>ghost apparition you see through. It was just solid. And
<v Speaker 2>it was a sunny day. And like I say, it's
<v Speaker 2>probably about two o'clock in the afternoon. So at that point,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I said, I drove up there. I got
<v Speaker 2>GPS coordinates where it was at, and they had all
<v Speaker 2>that equipment with me, took pictures and everything, and I'd
<v Speaker 2>reached out to the Georgia Bigfoot sites. I started looking
<v Speaker 2>for anything about Bigfoot, and I reached out and you know,
<v Speaker 2>put questions out there there been any more sightings in
<v Speaker 2>that area anything like that, and just had a few
<v Speaker 2>people respond, you know, watching you know, they were curious also,
<v Speaker 2>and I never really got any response back from anybody
<v Speaker 2>down there, so I just started doing my own research,
<v Speaker 2>you know, watching of course, you know the Bigfoot show.
<v Speaker 2>They're on TV and all, and we'd always you know,
<v Speaker 2>watch them, but like I say, most of the time
<v Speaker 2>they're out in the middle of anything, you know, nowhere
<v Speaker 2>and you know, you don't think about them being right
<v Speaker 2>here in your backyard or you know, in the Southern
<v Speaker 2>states like this. But you know, with all my research
<v Speaker 2>I started doing, I come to realize that they're all
<v Speaker 2>over the place, you know, the reports coming in from
<v Speaker 2>all over. And at the time, you know, my wife said, well,
<v Speaker 2>the kids had a sighting back when they were young
<v Speaker 2>in Alabama. We used to live in Alabama, and they
<v Speaker 2>saw a white one down there back in around nineteen
<v Speaker 2>ninety seven. And for some reason, I don't remember them
<v Speaker 2>ever talking about it. And they both said, yeah, we
<v Speaker 2>saw this. My son was about six years old, my
<v Speaker 2>daughter was about nine years old. They were over at
<v Speaker 2>their cousin's house playing and they said this thing came
<v Speaker 2>out of the woods. They were outside looking for their
<v Speaker 2>cousin's little dog, calling for it, and they said this
<v Speaker 2>creature came out of the woods and it was white,
<v Speaker 2>and said it looked more like a dog than a bigfoot.
<v Speaker 2>And so I got looking it up because they had,
<v Speaker 2>you know, my son's thirty three, my daughter's you know,
<v Speaker 2>thirty six, and I started looking this up, and sure enough,
<v Speaker 2>they have a thing called the Alabama White Thing, and
<v Speaker 2>there was other reports around the same time, and there's
<v Speaker 2>a kind of like a triangle down there, and where
<v Speaker 2>we lived in Colevin County, there's Colvin County, Blunt County,
<v Speaker 2>and Morgan County all right there together, and that's that's
<v Speaker 2>a big triangle right there where there had been sightings.
<v Speaker 2>And I'd never even heard of the Alabama white thing
<v Speaker 2>but before then. But there's a lot of stuff online
<v Speaker 2>about it, and they're seeing in different parts of Alabama.
<v Speaker 2>But like my son, he said, it was more like
<v Speaker 2>a dog man, you know, with a dog face, than
<v Speaker 2>a big foot. So I know at that point, we
<v Speaker 2>lived in a house and we had a bedroom up
<v Speaker 2>above our garage that we had built, and so the
<v Speaker 2>garage walls were like eight feet tall with blocks, and
<v Speaker 2>then our bedroom was up above that. And we would
<v Speaker 2>wake up in the middle of the night with it
<v Speaker 2>sounding like somebody just slamming a two by four against
<v Speaker 2>the side of the house or something. Me and my wife,
<v Speaker 2>we'd both jump up and I'd go outside my gun
<v Speaker 2>and look, and and never did see anything. And now
<v Speaker 2>I hear reports of you know, the big foots, you know,
<v Speaker 2>banging on people's houses and things like that. So it
<v Speaker 2>had to be something really tall to reach the upper
<v Speaker 2>part of the house above the blocks. But you know,
<v Speaker 2>I've had paranormal things happening ever since I've been married
<v Speaker 2>to my wife. She's kind of like a medium, seized
<v Speaker 2>a lot of things, and we've had activity for years
<v Speaker 2>and years. So the par of normal is not something
<v Speaker 2>that just freaks me out. I actually do ghost hunting also.
<v Speaker 2>I own a business in Gainsboro, Tennessee, and I'm in
<v Speaker 2>a building that was built in the eighteen nineties and
<v Speaker 2>we have ghost hunts there because it has you know,
<v Speaker 2>active spirits in there, and you know, to me, it's
<v Speaker 2>you know interesting, There's nothing that scares me, and we
<v Speaker 2>just unicate with them just like we would anybody else.
<v Speaker 2>We hear all kinds of noises, hear our names called whistling,
<v Speaker 2>different things like that. And whether Bigfoot is paranormal, you know, uh, interdimensional?
<v Speaker 2>You know, I really don't know. You know, I have
<v Speaker 2>my own theories on different things, but none of us
<v Speaker 2>are really sure of you know, what's actually what what
<v Speaker 2>the creature is, you know, if it's you know, interdimensional
<v Speaker 2>or spiritual or combination or you know it from this
<v Speaker 2>planet or whatever. So you know, I just continue to research.
<v Speaker 2>You know, look, look as as much stuff as I can.
<v Speaker 2>I've started, you know, researching more this year. And I
<v Speaker 2>was working up in Cherokee, North Carolina, Carolina over the
<v Speaker 2>winter with this engineering company. And I was on the
<v Speaker 2>Indian reservation up there in Cherokee, and I figured that
<v Speaker 2>would be a hotspot there anywhere, because I've heard stories
<v Speaker 2>up in there. So I was working one day with
<v Speaker 2>the crew and they were working down at the base
<v Speaker 2>of the mountain, and it it snowed a few days before,
<v Speaker 2>so there was still snow up at the very top.
<v Speaker 2>So I took a service road up. I drove about
<v Speaker 2>a mile and a half up to the very top
<v Speaker 2>of the mountain up there, and the roads were still icy,
<v Speaker 2>and snow was still about to foot deep. And when
<v Speaker 2>I turned around, I noticed a big footprint in the snow,
<v Speaker 2>and then I noticed some more and it was like
<v Speaker 2>it came out of the woods, went across the road
<v Speaker 2>and then down the edge of the road and back
<v Speaker 2>down into the woods. So I got out, put my
<v Speaker 2>foot inside the other, you know, the foot that was there,
<v Speaker 2>and it was a whole lot bigger than mine, you know,
<v Speaker 2>like I say, it went across the road and down
<v Speaker 2>the edge of the road, and the pictures I took.
<v Speaker 2>I got with a bigfoot researcher expert up in the
<v Speaker 2>Chaerirokee area, and when he looked at the pictures, he said,
<v Speaker 2>that's what I wanted to see, is is that the
<v Speaker 2>footprints were in a straight line. It's not like we
<v Speaker 2>walked where our feet are to the side. And he said,
<v Speaker 2>that's the kind of prints you know, they find is
<v Speaker 2>right in line with each other. So, you know, I
<v Speaker 2>talked to him quite a bit. Me and him actually
<v Speaker 2>went up on one of the highest mountains in that
<v Speaker 2>area and we got up there like at nine o'clock
<v Speaker 2>at night. It was I believe it was in April,
<v Speaker 2>and it was about fifty degrees so it wasn't too
<v Speaker 2>bad and it was a little chili, but we went
<v Speaker 2>up there and then we started walking to the very
<v Speaker 2>top of the mountain. Because the gate was closed. We
<v Speaker 2>had about a mile and a half walk up the
<v Speaker 2>service road up to where the fire towers at. And
<v Speaker 2>he had been in that area one hundreds and hundreds
<v Speaker 2>of times and had activity there each time he goes.
<v Speaker 2>And so we went up through the through the trail
<v Speaker 2>there and he was using a little red light on
<v Speaker 2>his head. I had a spotlight on my head, and
<v Speaker 2>I never turned it on cause I didn't want to
<v Speaker 2>mess our eyes up with the bright light. So he
<v Speaker 2>was using a little red light every once in a
<v Speaker 2>while because the moon was shining pretty bright. And we
<v Speaker 2>got about halfway up through there and we heard a
<v Speaker 2>tree knock. And this knock was it sounded like an
<v Speaker 2>aluminum bat hitting a ball or something that had kind
<v Speaker 2>of like a team to it. And he said, I've
<v Speaker 2>never heard anything like that before, but here recently, I've
<v Speaker 2>been hearing other people saying that same kind of sound,
<v Speaker 2>and so, you know, we sat there a while and
<v Speaker 2>listened and walked a little while and listen, and you know,
<v Speaker 2>we did find some bear prints, but where bears don't
<v Speaker 2>hit trees. And then later on we heard another tree
<v Speaker 2>knock in another area, and we made our way allay
<v Speaker 2>almost to the top up there to the plateau part,
<v Speaker 2>and we did a few whoops and got responses back
<v Speaker 2>that were further up to where the fire tower is at.
<v Speaker 2>So we didn't venture all the way up. I would
<v Speaker 2>didn't want to corner a creature up on top of
<v Speaker 2>the mountain and his territory you know, in the late
<v Speaker 2>nights like that. And so it was about one point
<v Speaker 2>thirty when we finally got back to the car and
<v Speaker 2>drove back to town. But that was a pretty good
<v Speaker 2>adventure with him, and really one of my only night
<v Speaker 2>ventures out like that. Most of my other research I
<v Speaker 2>do is in the daytime because I want to be
<v Speaker 2>able to see prints and especially if I don't know
<v Speaker 2>the area, you know, be able to see what's around,
<v Speaker 2>and you can see a lot more signs in daylight
<v Speaker 2>versus been at night. Another thing up there on that mountain,
<v Speaker 2>we kept seeing lights over in the other mountain ranges,
<v Speaker 2>you know, may may have been four or five miles
<v Speaker 2>across in the valleys, and these lights would light up
<v Speaker 2>and then disappears, kind of like a tree blowing with
<v Speaker 2>a street light, and how it kind of disappears some
<v Speaker 2>but then it never would show back up. And they
<v Speaker 2>were in different areas, and they have some lights that
<v Speaker 2>they see over in that area a lot. There's a
<v Speaker 2>lot of reports about lights. And I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>it was the air was just charged really heavy and
<v Speaker 2>maybe it was static, but I mean it was several
<v Speaker 2>miles away and it was bright enough to see and
<v Speaker 2>I saw him first, and then I mentioned him and
<v Speaker 2>that he started seeing them, So that was pretty interesting there.
<v Speaker 2>But I try to research anywhere I can on my travels.
<v Speaker 2>I'm all over the area of the South. I'm right now,
<v Speaker 2>I'm in Minnesota working up here in northern Iowa. So
<v Speaker 2>I've already been to a couple of sites where they've
<v Speaker 2>had sightings there. The BFRO has been up here and
<v Speaker 2>done shows on them, so I found out that they'd
<v Speaker 2>had sightings in the area. So I went to some
<v Speaker 2>of these parks and wandered around and just looking. But
<v Speaker 2>where I've been finding my most material or evidence at
<v Speaker 2>it was down in Tennessee where I live. My property
<v Speaker 2>overlooks an eleven thousand acres state park called Standing Stone
<v Speaker 2>State Park, And if you listen to many podcasts on
<v Speaker 2>other channels and all, you've probably heard of it. Every
<v Speaker 2>time I mention it to some of these podcasters, they say, oh,
<v Speaker 2>I know where that's at, because there's supposedly dog men
<v Speaker 2>and big foots in the park. And I've had activity
<v Speaker 2>at my house. My property, I'm on a mountaintop. It
<v Speaker 2>overlooks a big valley into the back side of the park,
<v Speaker 2>and I can see the fire tower from my house.
<v Speaker 2>It's about six miles away down the valley, and I
<v Speaker 2>can barely see it on the horizon, and they have
<v Speaker 2>sightings over there. Like say, we didn't really notice much
<v Speaker 2>stuff until I had my first sighting. And then it's
<v Speaker 2>like when you buy a red card and you notice
<v Speaker 2>there's red cars everywhere. You know, you start noticing things
<v Speaker 2>a lot more once you have a sighting and you're
<v Speaker 2>more aware. You know, most people don't have a sighting
<v Speaker 2>because they're looking at their phones or they're they're not
<v Speaker 2>paying attention to what's around them. And so now I'm
<v Speaker 2>observant everywhere I go. I've got cameras on my front
<v Speaker 2>and in the back of my car on my windows,
<v Speaker 2>so if something walks in front of me, now I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna capture it on one of my cameras. Here, I've
<v Speaker 2>got all types of equipment now, you know, I've got
<v Speaker 2>night vision. I've got just just all types of different equipment.
<v Speaker 2>But some of the things we've done around the house
<v Speaker 2>there in February of this year, twenty twenty five, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I thought, I wonder how much activity there is around here,
<v Speaker 2>and if other people were having sightings. So at my business.
<v Speaker 2>I did a little meeting. I just thought, well, I'll
<v Speaker 2>do a meeting here and see if anybody comes and
<v Speaker 2>if there's any interest in it. So I did a
<v Speaker 2>thing just called Tennessee cryptis Big Fit Beyond, and I
<v Speaker 2>just put you know, free meeting, you know, come and
<v Speaker 2>listen and share your stories if you have them. And
<v Speaker 2>so I was the one that was talking, and I had,
<v Speaker 2>you know, no clue if anybody would do and show up.
<v Speaker 2>We had over ninety five people show up. I had
<v Speaker 2>about forty chairs and other people were just standing up
<v Speaker 2>and so I had a little presentation together and I
<v Speaker 2>was trying to do a PowerPoint and all, but I
<v Speaker 2>could never get the PowerPoint to work. There was something
<v Speaker 2>messing with me, not really wanting me to do the
<v Speaker 2>meeting because my mind was just you know, I couldn't
<v Speaker 2>think of what to say and the people. I listened
<v Speaker 2>to the recording afterwards and I did okay, but my
<v Speaker 2>mind was just racing. It was just jumping all over
<v Speaker 2>the place, and it was like something didn't want me
<v Speaker 2>to talk about it. But you know, so I talked
<v Speaker 2>for about forty five minutes and then opened the floor
<v Speaker 2>to anybody that had stories. Or any comments. And there
<v Speaker 2>was a lot of people that had had stories, and
<v Speaker 2>some of the people a lot of people lived around
<v Speaker 2>their most life, so they had different stories to tell.
<v Speaker 2>And there was one lady there just moved in the
<v Speaker 2>area a couple of years ago, and there's a road
<v Speaker 2>over there called Booger Ridge, and so I just mentioned
<v Speaker 2>that in the in the presentation. She said, I live
<v Speaker 2>on Booger Ridge. I said that might be where he
<v Speaker 2>got its name. There was a gentleman sitting behind her
<v Speaker 2>and he shook his head. Yep, he said, I said
<v Speaker 2>he got his name. So out of that meeting, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I kind of got a core group of people and
<v Speaker 2>got a lot of information where people have been having sightings.
<v Speaker 2>And and so within a you know, thirty mile radius,
<v Speaker 2>there's a lot of different sightings in different areas all
<v Speaker 2>around there. So you know, it's more than just one
<v Speaker 2>group of them. They're they're in all different areas. And
<v Speaker 2>one of the guys that came to the meeting, he's
<v Speaker 2>really into it, him and his wife, and and so
<v Speaker 2>he invited me over to his house to look at
<v Speaker 2>some stuff that he had evidence he'd had around his house,
<v Speaker 2>and and so we became pretty good friends. And another
<v Speaker 2>that I met recently off of another podcast. They were
<v Speaker 2>talking about Clay County, Tennessee, and that's where I live.
<v Speaker 2>So I listened to the podcasts, I got his name.
<v Speaker 2>I looked him up where he lived and found out
<v Speaker 2>he lives less than a mile down the road from me,
<v Speaker 2>and he's got all kinds of activity now on his property.
<v Speaker 2>Another research group out of Kentucky. They come down every
<v Speaker 2>so often and they've put up these big cameras that
<v Speaker 2>can zoom in several hundred feet that rotate around three
<v Speaker 2>sixty you know, expensive cameras, different equipment that they bring down,
<v Speaker 2>and they've been capturing a lot of evidence there, you know,
<v Speaker 2>a lot of prints and everything. And after I found
<v Speaker 2>that out, I went over and talked to him, and
<v Speaker 2>then I went over another time and took my guitar
<v Speaker 2>over there because I do music, and I said, I
<v Speaker 2>want to see if playing music will attract them up
<v Speaker 2>here because of frequencies, because animals will respond to different frequencies.
<v Speaker 2>And all sat there. I had my big camera set
<v Speaker 2>up on a tripod and had it shining down in
<v Speaker 2>the woods, and it had like two and a half
<v Speaker 2>hours on the battery but after everything was said and done,
<v Speaker 2>I had only reported about thirty minutes in the battery
<v Speaker 2>was dead. But while I was playing, he said he
<v Speaker 2>saw one come up to the edge down there, and
<v Speaker 2>then later we heard a tree knock on the other side.
<v Speaker 2>And then I played for about an hour. I was
<v Speaker 2>putting my stuff up and we were just talking, just
<v Speaker 2>trying to be casual, but watching the whole time, just
<v Speaker 2>seeing if there was activity there. And there was a
<v Speaker 2>tree down in the bottom, probably about a little ten
<v Speaker 2>foot sapling, and that thing just started shaking back and
<v Speaker 2>forth like crazy. And I said, I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>he wants me to continue playing music or go ahead
<v Speaker 2>and get out of here, but I thought that was
<v Speaker 2>pretty interesting. I did another meeting at the distillery in May,
<v Speaker 2>and so I had a guest speaker from Alabama come up.
<v Speaker 2>His name is Dale Boswell, and he's got c on
<v Speaker 2>his property. He calls it the Boogerville down there in Alabama,
<v Speaker 2>and so me and him has become friends. We've written
<v Speaker 2>some songs together, and he writes songs about Bigfoot also,
<v Speaker 2>and he's a country music artist, so he's been performing
<v Speaker 2>for years and years. But he was our guest speaker
<v Speaker 2>and so I put him and his family up in
<v Speaker 2>some airbnbs that are right down the road from me,
<v Speaker 2>some cabins down there, and that's right in between me
<v Speaker 2>and my neighbor that has the activity. So on that
<v Speaker 2>Friday night, the meeting was on Saturday, so they came
<v Speaker 2>up on Friday and stayed in the cabin and they
<v Speaker 2>were out on the porch looking trying to see if
<v Speaker 2>they could find anything in any evidence, because it's right
<v Speaker 2>there at Standing Stone State Park, you know too, And
<v Speaker 2>he said they did have something banged on the cabin
<v Speaker 2>that night. And then later I told him, I said,
<v Speaker 2>well that I found out that my neighbor right in
<v Speaker 2>between us and that cabin, you know, he has activity
<v Speaker 2>all the time, and so I'm pretty sure that's what
<v Speaker 2>it was that banged on his cabin. So we had
<v Speaker 2>the meeting on that Saturday, and we had had about
<v Speaker 2>thirty people show up then because we had a lot
<v Speaker 2>of school graduations, different things going on, so the attendance
<v Speaker 2>wasn't as much as the first meeting I had. But
<v Speaker 2>that Sunday I had planned on going and doing some
<v Speaker 2>investigations while he was in town. So there's one woman
<v Speaker 2>that had come in our business, and because her daughter
<v Speaker 2>knew that, we did the meeting, and she said, my
<v Speaker 2>mama was scared to death because she says there's things
<v Speaker 2>out there at her place, and she's just scared to death.
<v Speaker 2>And so she'd come in and was talking with me,
<v Speaker 2>and she wanted me to go in the other room
<v Speaker 2>to the other people wouldn't hear. And she was telling
<v Speaker 2>me about the different encounters at her place. She'd seen
<v Speaker 2>a mama and two juveniles out in her backyard several times.
<v Speaker 2>So she went out to smoke a cigarette. I was
<v Speaker 2>leaned over the ports, and this big gal was right
<v Speaker 2>there byer, and he's pretty good size, and it just
<v Speaker 2>scared her to death. And so, you know, I assured
<v Speaker 2>her she wasn't crazy, and I told her we'd come
<v Speaker 2>out there and do an investigation, try to see what
<v Speaker 2>we could do to make them kind of leave the
<v Speaker 2>area or leave her alone. And so me and Dell
<v Speaker 2>and and then my neighbor we went out and went

<v Speaker 2>found out that there's another person right down the road
<v Speaker 2>that had recorded some vocalization from their front porch up
<v Speaker 2>on the mountain there, and that the neighbor had lost
<v Speaker 2>a couple of cattle recently and moved his cattle out
<v Speaker 2>of that field. And it's right next to a w
<v Speaker 2>m A, a wildlife management area, so these people's property
<v Speaker 2>backs right up to it. And and so that woman,
<v Speaker 2>she didn't happen. She had been gone. So I wasn't
<v Speaker 2>able to get to her house at that point, but
<v Speaker 2>me and Dale and another person we went down in
<v Speaker 2>that wildlife management area was the game trail as soon
<v Speaker 2>as we parked, and I think it's about fifty thousand
<v Speaker 2>acres and there's surrounded Abyu rivers, kind of like a
<v Speaker 2>peninsula with the river all around it. And so we
<v Speaker 2>just went up the game trail just a little piece,
<v Speaker 2>and it had rained real hard the night before, so
<v Speaker 2>the water in the creek had pushed the grass all
<v Speaker 2>down and it washed any evidence that there was a way.
<v Speaker 2>But we did find three footprints there and then a
<v Speaker 2>heelprint in the grass where it slid and pushed the
<v Speaker 2>grass backwards. So we found three good prints there and
<v Speaker 2>they looked more like juveniles. They were about ten or
<v Speaker 2>eleven inches long, and they were fresh too, because everything
<v Speaker 2>would have got washed away the night before. And so
<v Speaker 2>we looked on that property, and then we went up
<v Speaker 2>that one property where they had heard the vocalization, which
<v Speaker 2>was about a mile and a half from the other
<v Speaker 2>lady and they don't even know each other. They took
<v Speaker 2>us up on the mountain on a full drive and
<v Speaker 2>we found all kinds of footprints up there, and there
<v Speaker 2>was a hate field up there, and nobody can get
<v Speaker 2>to it because trees are pushed down on the road,
<v Speaker 2>so it's just you know, wild hay growing up there.
<v Speaker 2>And there's footprints all in there, about seven foot strides,
<v Speaker 2>and it seemed like everywhere there was a print, the
<v Speaker 2>grass was dead. I don't know if it's from energy
<v Speaker 2>or ois from the body or just the weight of
<v Speaker 2>the creatures pushing the grass down, but the grass was
<v Speaker 2>kind of dead where they had stepped, and the grass
<v Speaker 2>was knee high to us, and none of the grass
<v Speaker 2>had been pushed over at all, so it's like they
<v Speaker 2>were just stepping over that grass with seven foot strides.
<v Speaker 2>There were some areas where we could tell they've been
<v Speaker 2>been laying down in the grass, making kind of nest areas.
<v Speaker 2>We did find some scat there, big old scat that
<v Speaker 2>I know wasn't any normal creature in that area, and
<v Speaker 2>there's a ridge that runs up from the bottom up
<v Speaker 2>to that field up there. And so we told them
<v Speaker 2>we're gonna come back in the fall and go up
<v Speaker 2>there and camp one night and just go up there
<v Speaker 2>and play the guitar, have a campfire to see if
<v Speaker 2>we can attract them up there. And they want to
<v Speaker 2>go with us, and so on the way back down
<v Speaker 2>from the mountain, there's an X structure in the trees there.
<v Speaker 2>He said, look at there, and so I told him,
<v Speaker 2>I said, we're gonna go there and look at that
<v Speaker 2>X structure, but we're gonna go and look and seieft
<v Speaker 2>there's roots at the bottom of the trees, so we
<v Speaker 2>know that it's not just trees that happened to fall over.
<v Speaker 2>And so we went over there. One tree beside it
<v Speaker 2>had been broken off about seven and a half feet
<v Speaker 2>had just been snapped off, and where it was snapped
<v Speaker 2>off at was about eight feet away, stuck in the ground,
<v Speaker 2>and that was the base of one of the trees
<v Speaker 2>that was leaned over. And then another one was acrossed
<v Speaker 2>the other way and kind of woven into the tree branches,
<v Speaker 2>so it stayed there. And there was something in the
<v Speaker 2>middle kind of holding it all together. And we found
<v Speaker 2>prints around there also, so I know that there's activity
<v Speaker 2>around there, and between those two residents which live them
<v Speaker 2>all and a half from each other, you know, both
<v Speaker 2>have an activity for the past couple of years. I
<v Speaker 2>know it's pretty active over there. So just last month,
<v Speaker 2>we were able to go back over there to that
<v Speaker 2>lady's trailer because she was going to be home, and
<v Speaker 2>I took the guy that came to the meetings that
<v Speaker 2>has evidence on his property. I've seen prints on his property,
<v Speaker 2>and then my neighbor. We all went up there and
<v Speaker 2>both of them were having you know, experiences and stuff.
<v Speaker 2>They helped calm this lady down kind of and she's
<v Speaker 2>she's kind of okay with it now. She just I
<v Speaker 2>told her, go out in the woods, tell them that
<v Speaker 2>this is your property. You don't want them on your property,
<v Speaker 2>and you'll stay out of there their territory. So that's
<v Speaker 2>kind of what she does now. But in her trailer,
<v Speaker 2>one end of it the windows about nine feet off
<v Speaker 2>the ground, and she had said she was scared because
<v Speaker 2>this thing had knocked on the trailer and put dents
<v Speaker 2>in the trailer and felt like it was coming off
<v Speaker 2>the foundation. So when we got there, you know, we
<v Speaker 2>could see the window there. It's an older trailer, so
<v Speaker 2>the paint's kind of chalky, and on each side of
<v Speaker 2>the window you can see these bear spots where this
<v Speaker 2>thing had been looking in the window watching TV. And
<v Speaker 2>she said the night that she thought it was trailer
<v Speaker 2>was going to come off the foundation, she said they
<v Speaker 2>moved the TV because she'd seen it looking in the window.
<v Speaker 2>And so that's when thing just hit twice on the
<v Speaker 2>trailer there by the window, which is over nine feet tall.
<v Speaker 2>And I got pictures of the dance. I've got pictures
<v Speaker 2>of where the paints wore off on the trailer. We're
<v Speaker 2>been putting his hands and stuff. And we walked her
<v Speaker 2>whole property and I didn't see any fresh evidence there.
<v Speaker 2>She said that it seemed like, you know, they've been
<v Speaker 2>gone for a while, but they normally come back around
<v Speaker 2>October November. So we're gonna go back up there also.
<v Speaker 2>But I'm finding more and more people up there that
<v Speaker 2>have encounters, and so as soon as they get off
<v Speaker 2>the road here for the fall, I'm gonna go and
<v Speaker 2>investigate more of them. There's another woman that she'd called
<v Speaker 2>me one night and said that these creatures keep coming
<v Speaker 2>down and banging on her house. And this was back
<v Speaker 2>in February. And so I saw her here a couple
<v Speaker 2>of weeks ago and I said, you still having an activity.
<v Speaker 2>She said, yeah, they still come down and bang on
<v Speaker 2>the house. And she's got like seventy acres there. So
<v Speaker 2>this is you know, it's in different directions also, so
<v Speaker 2>they're all over the place. And there's a bus driver
<v Speaker 2>that lives by us. A couple of years ago, he'd
<v Speaker 2>come in and said that him and five of the
<v Speaker 2>students saw a big foot back there on one of
<v Speaker 2>the roads about five or six miles from me, which
<v Speaker 2>which back up to the Standingstone State Park. And so
<v Speaker 2>that you know, they all witnessed that in the middle
<v Speaker 2>of the day. And so he came in my place
<v Speaker 2>of business and told me, you know, we saw bigfoot
<v Speaker 2>and all. So he was all excited about that. So
<v Speaker 2>I say, standing Stone, if you look it up, you'll
<v Speaker 2>probably hear some stories. There's there's a lady called Mary Green,
<v Speaker 2>it was her name. She's dead now, but she had
<v Speaker 2>a book that she wrote called Fifty Years with Bigfoot,
<v Speaker 2>and it chronicles a family that lived with these creatures
<v Speaker 2>fifty years on their farm. And the lady that the
<v Speaker 2>story's about, she lives in county next to me. And
<v Speaker 2>then Mary Green she had had encounters with them at
<v Speaker 2>her house and and she she lived close to Standing
<v Speaker 2>Stone also, so you know, it's been going on for
<v Speaker 2>a lot of years. And just this year on July fourth,
<v Speaker 2>some people came in our business and said they were
<v Speaker 2>Standingstone camping in in the cabins there. They said they
<v Speaker 2>close the campground down for maintenance and so there wasn't
<v Speaker 2>much going on there. And I said, they closed the
<v Speaker 2>campground down on July fourth, which is the busiest week
<v Speaker 2>of the year. So I called her buddy of mine
<v Speaker 2>up in the county I live in that he's been
<v Speaker 2>researching for over fifty years in that area and real knowledgeable.
<v Speaker 2>So I said, do you know anything about Standingstone? What's
<v Speaker 2>going on there? He said it was three different campers
<v Speaker 2>that didn't know each other that reported rocks being thrown
<v Speaker 2>at them and hearing screams and stuff, and so they
<v Speaker 2>just shut the whole campground down. And that's happened. You
<v Speaker 2>know a lot of different areas like that. You'll hear
<v Speaker 2>of parks being closed, you know, for different reasons, and
<v Speaker 2>it's because they have activity in there. I've talked to
<v Speaker 2>some of the researchers that said that they've done like
<v Speaker 2>twelve different encounters or investigations in standing Stone and they
<v Speaker 2>they saw three of them one time as they were
<v Speaker 2>walking around the mountain hillside there, so there was three
<v Speaker 2>of them standing there, and then some of them done
<v Speaker 2>some night investigations also down by the fire tower and
<v Speaker 2>had activity there. So, like I say, I'm gone a lot,
<v Speaker 2>so I don't get to do research right there at
<v Speaker 2>my own house, which you know I found out was
<v Speaker 2>a hotspot. So you know, I'm anxious. I'm anxious to
<v Speaker 2>retire here in a couple of years and just dedicate
<v Speaker 2>time to going out and researching all around my area.
<v Speaker 2>And it was a couple of months ago. I was
<v Speaker 2>home after a big storm had come through, and like say,
<v Speaker 2>we live on a mountaintop and there was a bunch
<v Speaker 2>of limbs in the yards, so you know, it was
<v Speaker 2>a sunny day and I was out there picking up
<v Speaker 2>limbs and I heard a male and a female voice
<v Speaker 2>that was kind of loud, but I couldn't understand it,
<v Speaker 2>and I thought maybe somebody had radio on on the
<v Speaker 2>next ridge over there, and I was waiting for music
<v Speaker 2>or a commercial or something. But it wasn't English and
<v Speaker 2>it wasn't Spanish, and there was like even you could
<v Speaker 2>tell it was a male and a female. And and
<v Speaker 2>then I've started hearing all this about chatter, you know,
<v Speaker 2>people talking about they hear chatter. And after I heard that,
<v Speaker 2>you know, like I say, it's like seeing the red car.
<v Speaker 2>Now every podcast I listen to you people talk about chatter.
<v Speaker 2>So it was kind of, you know, interesting. And I'll
<v Speaker 2>go out there and I'll just talk to the woods.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I know they're out there, and I hear
<v Speaker 2>stuff a lot, some heavy footsteps or or different things
<v Speaker 2>out out there, and and I know they're out there.
<v Speaker 2>So I just talked to the woods, and you know,
<v Speaker 2>so they can recognize my voice. And if they wanted
<v Speaker 2>to do any harm, you know, they could come up
<v Speaker 2>and do whatever they wanted to. You know, we have
<v Speaker 2>heard noises at the cabin before at night and my
<v Speaker 2>wife would say, say, what was that, and I'd say,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, but if they come in the bedroom,
<v Speaker 2>I'll shoot them. But you know, I never went outside
<v Speaker 2>to see what it was. And I'd put up some
<v Speaker 2>security cameras or trail cams out there. And and then
<v Speaker 2>then I found out that you know, they can see
<v Speaker 2>that for red and and so they don't come up,
<v Speaker 2>you know, because I had the cameras out. And so
<v Speaker 2>this past weekend when I was home, I took the
<v Speaker 2>cameras down because I figure they may not like that.
<v Speaker 2>And and I don't really want to get them on
<v Speaker 2>my bad side, because I want to make a try
<v Speaker 2>to get familiar with them and you know, get comfortable
<v Speaker 2>with them to where maybe they'll show their self like
<v Speaker 2>some other people do. And because I don't have any
<v Speaker 2>you know, notion to try to hurt them or anything
<v Speaker 2>like that. I want to protect them. So now, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I don't tell a lot of people, you know, exact
<v Speaker 2>locations anything like that. You know, you know, like say
<v Speaker 2>standing stones eleven thousand acres take parts. So you mentioned
<v Speaker 2>the park, and it's a big park. You won't ever
<v Speaker 2>walk over the whole thing in a year. But so
<v Speaker 2>I'm not too worried about you know, you know, people
<v Speaker 2>coming in there and bother them too much. The go
<v Speaker 2>knows they're there, and we do have helicopters fly over
<v Speaker 2>a lot. One of the neighbors had a drone, big
<v Speaker 2>drone flying over his house the other day. And since
<v Speaker 2>the park's been closed, the campground has been closed, they've
<v Speaker 2>had more activity with them. And I have seen government
<v Speaker 2>vehicles out there, but you know, they already know they're there,
<v Speaker 2>so you know, it's not like it's a secret. But
<v Speaker 2>I had two workers when I worked in Nashville. There
<v Speaker 2>are two co workers, and both of them were seven
<v Speaker 2>feet tall and they could look eye to eye, so
<v Speaker 2>you know, I kind of know heights and all that stuff.
<v Speaker 2>And one of them was about six hundred pounds and
<v Speaker 2>he was pretty happy. But the other one was thin
<v Speaker 2>and he still weigh over three hundred pounds. So there,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, there's large people around. There's you know, bound
<v Speaker 2>to be large, you know, bigfoots around. I know some
<v Speaker 2>of them around our area, you know, have been said
<v Speaker 2>they have been like eight to nine feet. But I
<v Speaker 2>think we have more smaller ones in our area. It
<v Speaker 2>may just be you know, regional, and but we do
<v Speaker 2>have you know, deer and turkey and wild hogs and
<v Speaker 2>just to you know, a host of other animals for
<v Speaker 2>them to feed on. And while we were down at
<v Speaker 2>that wm A park down there, we walked off in
<v Speaker 2>there in a dry creek bed. There was a bone
<v Speaker 2>laying there, and I didn't think too much about it.
<v Speaker 2>But the other guy that was with him, he picked
<v Speaker 2>the bone up and got looking at it, and there
<v Speaker 2>was flat teeth marks on it. This was probably a
<v Speaker 2>leg bone off a cow or something. It was an
<v Speaker 2>older bone because the marrow had already been all dried up.
<v Speaker 2>You could tell it was an older bone. And so
<v Speaker 2>he took it home, cleaned it up, and on the
<v Speaker 2>one end it was it was a rounded mouth that
<v Speaker 2>took a chunk out of it, just like you'd be
<v Speaker 2>eating corn or something something soft, and the teeth marks
<v Speaker 2>just cut all the way through it. And it was
<v Speaker 2>on the very end of the bones. It wasn't the
<v Speaker 2>full mouth, but I kind of guestimated the width of it,
<v Speaker 2>and it would have been to the outside of my cheekbones,
<v Speaker 2>is how far the teeth would have went. And for
<v Speaker 2>something to bite through a bone like that just in
<v Speaker 2>one bite, and it was it was gnawed all the
<v Speaker 2>way down the side of the bone with these flat teeth,
<v Speaker 2>and so something with a good jaw structure and power,
<v Speaker 2>you know, bid on that bone. So so he was
<v Speaker 2>he was excited about getting that bone and got it
<v Speaker 2>cleaned up and all, and it looked like it had
<v Speaker 2>tool marks on it, like you know, stone or something,
<v Speaker 2>little scrapes on it, like like an Indian might have
<v Speaker 2>done it, you know, years ago. But it was you know,
<v Speaker 2>it's I said, the mouth on it and the teeth
<v Speaker 2>are really big. So you know, that was kind of
<v Speaker 2>interesting there. But I'm just looking forward to being able
<v Speaker 2>to get back and doing a lot more research in
<v Speaker 2>our area. And but while on the road, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I try to find any place I can and just
<v Speaker 2>go and research and try to pick up stories here
<v Speaker 2>and there. I'm also a songwriter, lived in Nashville for
<v Speaker 2>over ten years and since I got it, you know,
<v Speaker 2>really interested in the Bigfoot. In all the research I
<v Speaker 2>was doing while I was working up in Cherokee. Up there,
<v Speaker 2>I had a lot of time to sit and think,
<v Speaker 2>and so I wrote this song about Bigfoot and I
<v Speaker 2>played it at my show, you know, the Tennessee CRYPTI
<v Speaker 2>is big Footing beyond Presentations and got real good response
