<v Speaker 1>Hey, everybody, welcome to Games Mornings with Me Jeff Grub <v Speaker 1>your host from GiantBomb dot com. Thank you for tuning in. <v Speaker 1>In this episode, we're gonna be talking about another game <v Speaker 1>launching to glowing reviews and is From Software's next big <v Speaker 1>release actually gonna come out this year. It's gonna be <v Speaker 1>a good one because we have Janet Jubble on the show. <v Speaker 3>Jan how are you doing. <v Speaker 2>I'm a little eepy, I'm a little tired, and then <v Speaker 2>I forget that. I'm going to North Carolina tomorrow. <v Speaker 1>North Carolina. Look, you're gonna have a good time to <v Speaker 1>get to That's that's knuck up on us. I think <v Speaker 1>a lot of these things are sneaking up on us now. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Yeah, SGF in particular, sneaking up on us. And <v Speaker 2>the next thing, you know, Greb, who knows, we might <v Speaker 2>be back in Jersey talking about whatever the game of <v Speaker 2>the year is. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, exactly right. It's just gonna fly by. <v Speaker 1>I mean we're gonna be halfway through the year here, <v Speaker 1>not too long after Summer Game Fest. It's just going <v Speaker 1>very very quickly, like it always has been recently, and <v Speaker 1>I know part of that is just getting older. The <v Speaker 1>time does just start to fly. Uh doesn't mean I <v Speaker 1>have to like it, Jan, I don't like it. I'm <v Speaker 1>gonna put my foot down. I'm against it, all right. <v Speaker 1>I'm like debating about talking about this this thing publicly, Jan, <v Speaker 1>I got I feel like I should. I could just <v Speaker 1>tell you and you don't have to tell anybody else, Okay. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, it's just you and I right now. This <v Speaker 2>is this is our rehearsal run for game. This morning <v Speaker 2>is where we test out all of our. <v Speaker 3>Jokes, right I. <v Speaker 1>Uh, you know, you know they say, like like your <v Speaker 1>car or your computer, it's not yours until you bleed <v Speaker 1>on it. I would say that the d d R <v Speaker 1>pad that I just bought and it now belongs to me, <v Speaker 1>I was going a bit too hard this morning, and <v Speaker 1>it's got those sharp metal edges and I definitely got <v Speaker 1>that right between like my toe and the and the <v Speaker 1>ball of my foot and kind of kind of cut <v Speaker 1>it a little bit and I didn't realize it at first. <v Speaker 1>So I was dancing with a bloody, bloody pad on <v Speaker 1>there a little bit and then like I look down, <v Speaker 1>I'm like, that doesn't look right and it feels kind <v Speaker 1>of sticky. <v Speaker 3>Uh oh, so look. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to tell people because I don't want <v Speaker 1>people like hell, but you have to be careful. Don't <v Speaker 1>worry about me. I'm fine, but it was just a <v Speaker 1>dumb ass thing to do. And then, uh, the thing <v Speaker 1>it's a metal pad. <v Speaker 3>Jan. <v Speaker 1>I could wear shoes, yeah, like that's the whole I could, <v Speaker 1>and I should be. I just you know, I like <v Speaker 1>to do you have like strengthened in my feet and <v Speaker 1>all that stuff. I'll go barefoot. No, I should just <v Speaker 1>be wearing shoes so I don't get hurt. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, yeah, Greb, I forgot to tell you we're <v Speaker 2>not actually doing the dry run joke, goofing run of <v Speaker 2>games mornings. It's just the show now. <v Speaker 3>Shit. Sorry, Nah, I got all cleaned up everybody. We're good. <v Speaker 2>I think the thing is you want to cut a rug, not. <v Speaker 3>Cutting yah foot, Not cut your foot on the rug. <v Speaker 3>I'm still gonna be doing this every day. I like. <v Speaker 3>I like dancing in the morning. <v Speaker 1>It makes me feel better about myself and honestly makes <v Speaker 1>me feel better about all you. <v Speaker 2>Grub I don't know if you've ever seen what like <v Speaker 2>a peloton class looks like or one of those online <v Speaker 2>like workout programs, but I think we should do a <v Speaker 2>goof of one with a ddrpad. <v Speaker 1>That's yeah, not a bad idea where I'm like, yeah, <v Speaker 1>really encouraging people to just break it down. I could <v Speaker 1>bring that energy I am. I do kind of have <v Speaker 1>those barefoot shoes people are saying you can do that. <v Speaker 1>It's not like the individual like sleeve for each toe, <v Speaker 1>but it is like the wide base and the heels <v Speaker 1>right on the ground stuff like that. I could just <v Speaker 1>wear those, and I think I will be all right. <v Speaker 1>You know what, let's get into it. Let's explain ourselves. <v Speaker 1>We're giant Bomb, and you could support us by going <v Speaker 1>to giant bomb dot com slash join and if you <v Speaker 1>do that this week, you could do it this week <v Speaker 1>by going to the DK sixty four marathon stream that's <v Speaker 1>been happening every day and we'll continue today as well. <v Speaker 1>Mike Minatti is he is locked in to one hundred <v Speaker 1>and one percent in that because we have gotten so <v Speaker 1>much support. People did go to gimebomb dot com sash <v Speaker 1>join or they became a YouTube member, which is something <v Speaker 1>you could do now that will contribute to it gets <v Speaker 1>you all the premium stuff going forward, we'll have older <v Speaker 1>premium drops there as as time permits, we'll probably ask you, guys, <v Speaker 1>hey what do you want? We'll had stuff like that, <v Speaker 1>but yeah, hey YouTube premium open, now go join It's <v Speaker 1>it's been excellent, so kind of just to see the <v Speaker 1>support excellent to see people immediately kind of get us <v Speaker 1>to one one hundred and one percent Donkey Kong sixty <v Speaker 1>four because that's been a joy to watch with Mike. <v Speaker 3>And now there's a new incentive. <v Speaker 1>If you get us over the hump for our next <v Speaker 1>incentive goal, you will be able to choose who gets <v Speaker 1>blighted for Blight Club and with what game. You got <v Speaker 1>to be a premium member. So you want to get in, <v Speaker 1>become a premium member and you can have your say. <v Speaker 1>And that concludes not just the Blaite boys. We're opening <v Speaker 1>it up to Janet Chova and Jeff Baklar. <v Speaker 3>We don't. <v Speaker 2>I mean, you know, I'm the the darling of this team, <v Speaker 2>and I'm just gonna also extend that games media. Why <v Speaker 2>would anyone want to hurt me? I, like Mike keep <v Speaker 2>saying that, I think there's a case for all of us, <v Speaker 2>for all like any one of us. <v Speaker 1>Could get like Mike's case is it's always funny when <v Speaker 1>he's upset. And then for Dan Kind, everyone just always <v Speaker 1>wants to punish him. But he's doing space A, so <v Speaker 1>I think there's a chance everyone might feel like he's <v Speaker 1>gotten his And Mike just had Virtuoso. So I've been <v Speaker 1>getting off pretty easy recently. So that's the case for me. <v Speaker 1>But jan and and Sureff, I mean, come on, that <v Speaker 1>would be novel and new. <v Speaker 2>I want to remind everyone, and it's because Jiminy Crickets <v Speaker 2>and the twitch chat reminded me. Jeff Beckler called all <v Speaker 2>of you ugly at home. <v Speaker 3>He did do that. <v Speaker 2>He did, so you know, you can get BacT some <v Speaker 2>revenge on him that way. <v Speaker 3>We do have some fun ideas. <v Speaker 1>I think people are talking about having Jeff play little Nikky, <v Speaker 1>for example, So huh, a little jerfy little Jersey. <v Speaker 2>It'll Jeffy. I can't even do the voice now, little Jeffy. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, you just gotta do what's her name? Oh my god? <v Speaker 3>Oh and from the deep I'm from the Deep South. <v Speaker 2>The gays are coming after me. Yeah, okay, almost got there. <v Speaker 3>You guys just gotta just gotta gotta support and we'll <v Speaker 3>make it happen. And uh and thank you, right of course. <v Speaker 3>It gets Jeffrey shows gets you. <v Speaker 1>Those premium shows that are exclusive gets you early access <v Speaker 1>to premium drops like Bully the Endurance Run you get <v Speaker 1>a week early there. <v Speaker 3>So that's happening right now. Don't miss out on it. Everybody. <v Speaker 1>Also a new merch on the store Start out giant <v Speaker 1>bomb dot com. All right, Uh, let's see as far <v Speaker 1>as this show goes. Most weekdays, I Jeff Grubb will <v Speaker 1>help you your gaming life back together. That includes breaking <v Speaker 1>news and maybe even some of our own original reporting. <v Speaker 1>For all these topics, I'll get the input of a <v Speaker 1>bona fide expert who will make me look smart. If <v Speaker 1>you are watching live on Twitch welcome. You can always <v Speaker 1>listen to the show later on podcast feeds by searching <v Speaker 1>for Game mess Warnings, or find the RSS feed on <v Speaker 1>giant bomb dot com. You could also catch the show <v Speaker 1>later with chapters and timestamps on YouTube. <v Speaker 3>Hello YouTube. <v Speaker 1>All right, we have a lot to get into, so <v Speaker 1>let's start the morning mess with Fortsah Horizon six reviews. <v Speaker 3>It's got a ninety one on Open Credit. <v Speaker 1>Another game that's just like Launching with its reviews above <v Speaker 1>a ninety. You know we have seen this a couple <v Speaker 1>times this year, usually things kind of settle down below, <v Speaker 1>Like just below ninety, we'll see Forts a Horizon often <v Speaker 1>does hang on to a score right around here. <v Speaker 3>I checked. Sean's the one who got this in Fantasy. <v Speaker 3>I think it was his. <v Speaker 1>First pick and he was number one, So I think <v Speaker 1>this was the topic overall a safe one because these <v Speaker 1>games usually deliver. Got a nine out of ten for <v Speaker 1>Dominic Layton at the Sixth Access, who says forts a <v Speaker 1>Horizon six is another excellent entry in an excellent series <v Speaker 1>from an excellent developer. Part of me wants more than that, <v Speaker 1>but I have no idea how that would work. Five <v Speaker 1>stars from Chris Colleene at VGC. The Horizon five was <v Speaker 1>already in an exceptional racing game, but forts Horizon six <v Speaker 1>takes everything up a notch to deliver an even more engaging, entertaining, <v Speaker 1>and all encompassing experience. There's an absolute wealth of racing, exploring, <v Speaker 1>and collecting to do here, and that's before the inevitable <v Speaker 1>live service updates start adding even more content. Few games <v Speaker 1>are as essential as this and five stars from Jeff <v Speaker 1>grub Over at Giant Bomb, who says, in a lot <v Speaker 1>of ways, this is my ideal video game becoming one <v Speaker 1>with the controller and the vehicle in a drop dead <v Speaker 1>gorgeous setting that essentially never runs out of content. It's <v Speaker 1>almost perfect, and I think it's fair to use that <v Speaker 1>word for the craft that is on display in forts <v Speaker 1>Are Horizon six. So yeah, I play like twenty five <v Speaker 1>ish hours of this game now, jan I have been <v Speaker 1>enjoying every minute of it. It really fits with the <v Speaker 1>way I play the game, which is, let's just go <v Speaker 1>in there and drive around and go from like just hey, <v Speaker 1>recommend me a race, I'll go to that next race, <v Speaker 1>and I'll keep doing that until I get a little <v Speaker 1>bit distracted, and then I'll start. <v Speaker 3>Exploring the world. <v Speaker 1>I'll go do some barn fines, and that that sense <v Speaker 1>of progression of just hanging out in the world is immaculate. <v Speaker 1>The progression of like I'm unlocking wristbands, that is sort <v Speaker 1>of just happening in the background for me. <v Speaker 3>But I will say, like, the way. <v Speaker 1>That I want it to work is don't get in <v Speaker 1>my way, don't make me feel like I have to <v Speaker 1>do anything annoying to get to the next cool thing. Instead, <v Speaker 1>it's like, yeah, here's a bunch of cool stuff. And <v Speaker 1>then once you unlock these wristbands. Probably what's gonna happen <v Speaker 1>is we're gonna put a big exclamation point on it <v Speaker 1>with the one of the showcases, which you know they've <v Speaker 1>always had, but those are they're just as good here, <v Speaker 1>Like racing against a giant mech is one of the <v Speaker 1>early ones we've seen in some trailers. You know, it's Japan, <v Speaker 1>you could expect like a bullet train stuff like that. <v Speaker 1>It's these games always have you racing against a plane <v Speaker 1>and those like make it feel like, Okay, I've kind <v Speaker 1>of reached the next thing. And then I see the <v Speaker 1>map a bunch of new races have opened up in <v Speaker 1>a new region that maybe I haven't explored as much. <v Speaker 1>That's that's the typical, like I'm doing the racist progression. <v Speaker 3>Then there's the. <v Speaker 1>Progress of you know, you maybe you don't want to. <v Speaker 1>Maybe you'd like, there's an awesome world here. This is <v Speaker 1>this is Japan, and there's Tokyo City and there's all <v Speaker 1>this stuff to go explore and it looks really nice. <v Speaker 3>Maybe you just want to go see the sites. <v Speaker 1>There is another progression path that's like a collection journal <v Speaker 1>and a stamp collection, and you can sort of progress <v Speaker 1>the progress those by just going and finding those barn finds, <v Speaker 1>the treasure cars, finding of photo locations that are very scenic, <v Speaker 1>stuff like that. So it's like, yeah, there are multiple <v Speaker 1>ways to progress the game, but that progression is always <v Speaker 1>more of a facade than anything else. <v Speaker 3>And I like it that way. <v Speaker 1>I think that's the right way to treat this, because <v Speaker 1>this should just be the game where you can go <v Speaker 1>in there mostly turn off. <v Speaker 3>Your brain and just drive some cars nice. <v Speaker 1>And then to that end, it's you know, I have <v Speaker 1>this every time I play for its the Horizon jan <v Speaker 1>where it's like I'm playing it as Burnout Paradise or <v Speaker 1>another sort of Arcadie racing game, and it's perfect that way, <v Speaker 1>really is they nail that? But it's like, oh yeah, no, <v Speaker 1>if I begin turning off these assists, if I turn <v Speaker 1>off anti lock BK breaks and stuff like that, this <v Speaker 1>is still a forts a simulation engine underneath all of that, <v Speaker 1>and they've improved it here, Like the aerodynamic simulation is <v Speaker 1>better than it's ever been. If you can really begin <v Speaker 1>to feel that. And now it's like, oh, like the <v Speaker 1>depth here is insane. It's you know, yeah, it's got <v Speaker 1>the breadth of content. Then it also has depth and <v Speaker 1>I just begin sort of like fall in love with <v Speaker 1>a car and being like, oh, now I know how <v Speaker 1>this car behaves in corners and. <v Speaker 3>What I need to do, Like what do I need <v Speaker 3>to do to make sure. <v Speaker 1>That I'm not losing my grip as I as I <v Speaker 1>try to like throw weight under the front tires. <v Speaker 3>It's just. <v Speaker 1>I play it and I just can't stop playing it. Jan, So, yeah, <v Speaker 1>they really nail these things. I think it's yeah, an <v Speaker 1>ideal video game for someone like me. <v Speaker 2>Hell yes, Greb there you wrote a review that as <v Speaker 2>a now out on the website, and we also filmed <v Speaker 2>a little roundtable discussion with Dan who's played a little <v Speaker 2>bit before It's a Horizon, and Jeff Backlar, who had <v Speaker 2>some cues to ask you. The only other thing I <v Speaker 2>want to ask Grub is that I know or two things. One, <v Speaker 2>it's great to see a triple A racing game get <v Speaker 2>this much praise and have this much love put into it, <v Speaker 2>because we don't get them as often as we used to. <v Speaker 2>And I've been hankering to get behind the wheel, Grub, <v Speaker 2>whether an actual wheel or just a controller. And you've <v Speaker 2>mentioned several times at this game is like specifically designed <v Speaker 2>for the Xbox controller really hammers on the rumble there. <v Speaker 2>But the second thing, I know, the Forts a Horizon <v Speaker 2>series a little silly, a little silly, and they will <v Speaker 2>occasionally have those set piece races you mentioned one in <v Speaker 2>the review, is that do you get a lot of <v Speaker 2>that throughout Forts of Horizon six or just a little <v Speaker 2>bits and pieces there. <v Speaker 1>I think they dole them out at the right pace, <v Speaker 1>which is one every few hours. There's a time when, <v Speaker 1>like in this series where they were coming like more <v Speaker 1>than they probably should have because they are very scripted. <v Speaker 3>Those showcase races they. <v Speaker 1>Are about looking cool and less about like, oh there's <v Speaker 1>a Forts of simulation underneath all this, All that doesn't <v Speaker 1>matter in those showcase races. The showcase races is we're <v Speaker 1>gonna make sure we have a catchup mechanic excuse me, <v Speaker 1>so that like there's always something near a photo finish, <v Speaker 1>and that's that's what you want. <v Speaker 3>You want it to just look cool. <v Speaker 1>And yeah, they have the ones against the Chaser zero, <v Speaker 1>the giant Gundam style mech or whatever, and there's like <v Speaker 1>five moments during a race like that where there's like <v Speaker 1>just hey, you're gonna hit a jump and we're gonna <v Speaker 1>hit you with slow motion and the cool mech is <v Speaker 1>gonna be jumping over you and like just barely missing <v Speaker 1>your car and that stuff. Again, it feels like a <v Speaker 1>reward after you've spent time doing other progression. <v Speaker 3>You know. <v Speaker 1>That is a trick They've done a lot. I'm glad <v Speaker 1>they don't rely on it as much as they have <v Speaker 1>in the past because it has been played out a <v Speaker 1>little bit. <v Speaker 3>So when they when they drop it here. <v Speaker 1>And they do kind of just nail the uh the <v Speaker 1>japaneseeness of it all for this game, it is. It's <v Speaker 1>very well done. So yeah, I'm I'm in. I'm into <v Speaker 1>the vibes. I'm into the obviously into the gameplay. The <v Speaker 1>number of cars here getting K trucks doing K truck <v Speaker 1>deliveries and stuff like that. Food deliveries. That's been fun. <v Speaker 1>It's a very crazy taxi like. It's yeah, just across <v Speaker 1>the board. I think they've nailed it. <v Speaker 2>Grab the K truck representation is actually why you gave <v Speaker 2>it a five out of five. <v Speaker 1>Right, Yeah, of course absolutely now they I haven't been <v Speaker 1>able to find my minivan in there jam, but we'll see. <v Speaker 1>Maybe I'll get that an update or something. Oh, it's <v Speaker 1>it's a it's a good game. One that's like obviously <v Speaker 1>if you have game Pass, this is just such a <v Speaker 1>no brainer. But like if you, yeah, man, it's it's <v Speaker 1>a game. I just would recommend it just about anybody <v Speaker 1>who has any affinity for driving in a video game. <v Speaker 1>It is going to like hook you into it with <v Speaker 1>its with its immaculate mechanics. All right, that's sports the <v Speaker 1>Horizon six. As Jan said, there's a written review on <v Speaker 1>the website. We have that video discussion review on the <v Speaker 1>website and on YouTube. You could check those out. We'll <v Speaker 1>probably be playing more of it on the website at <v Speaker 1>some point, get it into a UPF or something. I <v Speaker 1>just want to hang out and play that game, especially, <v Speaker 1>I haven't done a ton of the multiplayer. <v Speaker 3>I've done some. We'd love to do multiplayer with y'all. <v Speaker 1>That would be a great time and honestly, but we <v Speaker 1>could do it with the community because you get those <v Speaker 1>big like convoys going. So maybe we'll get that going <v Speaker 1>next week sometime everybody. <v Speaker 2>Hell all right? <v Speaker 1>Best Buy tells affiliates it's starting GTA six pre orders <v Speaker 1>next week, sparking speculation that a new trailer is coming. <v Speaker 1>This is from Chris Scullion, at VGC players have been <v Speaker 1>speculating that a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto six <v Speaker 1>could be coming next week. During a live stream earlier today, <v Speaker 1>YouTuber frog Boy x one gaming shout out to. Frog <v Speaker 1>Boy was checking who's checking his phone when he received <v Speaker 1>an email for Best Buys affiliate program Yeah can we <v Speaker 1>get rivetson chat please? The email informed him that a <v Speaker 1>pre order campaign for physical copies of Grand Theft Auto <v Speaker 1>six would take place from May eighteenth, eighteenth through the <v Speaker 1>twenty first, with affiliates eligible to receive five percent for <v Speaker 1>each sale day. Link to other Best Buy affiliates have <v Speaker 1>since confirmed that they received this email to suggesting that <v Speaker 1>best Buy is set to start taking pre orders for <v Speaker 1>the games starting on Monday. The news has now led <v Speaker 1>to speculation that a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto <v Speaker 1>six may be released to coincide with pre orders starting. <v Speaker 1>This would also coincide with Take two Interactive's upcoming Q <v Speaker 1>four twenty twenty six earnings conference call, which is set <v Speaker 1>to take place on May twenty first, so this would <v Speaker 1>all be next week. Should take to decide to release <v Speaker 1>a trailer before this call, perhaps reconfirming the games currently <v Speaker 1>planned November nineteenth release date, It would allow the company <v Speaker 1>to refer to it during its results presentation and its <v Speaker 1>forecast for financial year twenty twenty seven, and would eliminate <v Speaker 1>the need for investors to ask questions about its status <v Speaker 1>during the Q and a portion of the presentation. <v Speaker 3>These are all good points, because that is how it goes. <v Speaker 1>We just saw this play out jen actually with Starfox <v Speaker 1>Star Fox everyone was saying, when are we going to <v Speaker 1>get that announced? When is Nintendo going to talk about that? <v Speaker 1>And a lot of people are like, Nintendo has an <v Speaker 1>earnings call soon. If this game is really coming out <v Speaker 1>in June, they're probably gonna announce it before that, and <v Speaker 1>they announced it the day before that is probably how <v Speaker 1>it's going to go down here, although of course there's <v Speaker 1>no guarantee. We're speculating, but I think this is seems <v Speaker 1>about right to me jan that this is the time <v Speaker 1>that they would they would probably start talking about it. <v Speaker 1>I wonder if one of the reasons we haven't heard <v Speaker 1>much about Call Up Duty, for example, is they're kind <v Speaker 1>of waiting for Grand Theft Auto to do this, get <v Speaker 1>it out of the way, and then Call of Duty <v Speaker 1>will start talking about its stuff very quickly after that. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>This sounds very plausible. How are you feeling about it? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, speaking of Call of Duty, Lexi, talking about this <v Speaker 2>last year's entry into the Call of Duty franchise makes <v Speaker 2>me hope that they let that one sit in the <v Speaker 2>oven a little bit longer. Oh yeah, SGF is right <v Speaker 2>around the corner, grub We were talking about that. The <v Speaker 2>rest of the year's fast and quick approaching, So this <v Speaker 2>does make sense in terms of timing. I can feel <v Speaker 2>the clamor clamoring around us from the general gaming audience <v Speaker 2>out there, to also people wanting this game to finally <v Speaker 2>come out so we can stop talking about this game. <v Speaker 2>That's where I'm coming from. I'm sure there's gonna be great. <v Speaker 2>I feel bad for the poor developers out there that <v Speaker 2>have to work crunch hours and the developers that have <v Speaker 2>been slighted by rock Star in the process. And I <v Speaker 2>know that this game is going to fire off on <v Speaker 2>all cylinders. It's gonna be huge. But we've been talking <v Speaker 2>about it for what feels like forever, grub Ye, and <v Speaker 2>I feel like we've gone to that point of like <v Speaker 2>peak saturation of talking about GTA six that if and <v Speaker 2>when a trailer comes out, it is not going to <v Speaker 2>be enough for the expectations that people have put on <v Speaker 2>themselves for this game. You know, rock Star has stayed <v Speaker 2>relatively quiet to not over promise and over deliver on <v Speaker 2>this game. But the people out there, also the chuds <v Speaker 2>out there, are going to get really, really weird about it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's going to be It's going to be so <v Speaker 1>big that people will be able to sort of project <v Speaker 1>whatever they need onto it to do whatever grift they <v Speaker 1>have or whatever, you know, whatever excitement they have, and <v Speaker 1>it's going to be unrelated to whatever game we finally get. <v Speaker 1>You know, these trailers have been for Grand Theft Auto six. <v Speaker 1>That first trailer or the most recent one, it was huge, massive, <v Speaker 1>like one of the fastest growing or most viewed YouTube <v Speaker 1>videos that has ever been released, and that is it's <v Speaker 1>probably going to be true for this one as well. <v Speaker 1>Especially as we start getting real details and we do <v Speaker 1>get release state information, people will tune up, tune in <v Speaker 1>for this thing. But yeah, it's I think I'm excited <v Speaker 1>about this jam because it does make its feel like <v Speaker 1>it's real. It'll come out, we'll be pasted it later <v Speaker 1>this year, and then we can sort of get on <v Speaker 1>with our lives. That definitely I'm marking this on my <v Speaker 1>calendar as one real next step towards that reality. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and then we'll have to take two steps back <v Speaker 2>for whenever the online portion of GTA six comes out <v Speaker 2>and whatever state that releases, in which I've been very, <v Speaker 2>very curious just talking with friends that are not as <v Speaker 2>plugged into the industry grub, a lot of them are <v Speaker 2>just clamoring for that style of game that they can <v Speaker 2>just immerse themselves in four hours on end, similar to <v Speaker 2>like a Red Dead Redemption two that they don't quite <v Speaker 2>care for any type of GTA online, But the GTA <v Speaker 2>online mode just makes Rockstar so much money, So I'm cure, <v Speaker 2>says to how six. <v Speaker 3>Will be received. <v Speaker 1>Yep, you know, if we get the pre ordered, like <v Speaker 1>if the pre orders do begin, if affiliates begin having <v Speaker 1>codes to send people to Best Buy to buy the <v Speaker 1>physical version of this game, that means we're also probably <v Speaker 1>going to know the price. I guess last chance to <v Speaker 1>have this conversation probably Jan it's I'm saying eighty dollars. <v Speaker 3>What do you think It's. <v Speaker 2>An easy eighty dollars. They're gonna also sell another edition, <v Speaker 2>similarly to like what Forts is doing, where maybe not <v Speaker 2>a week early, maybe a couple of days early, and <v Speaker 2>I think they can get away with it. <v Speaker 1>Yep, I think so as well. I'm hopeful that this <v Speaker 1>trailer just shows like. <v Speaker 3>Some new novel stuff. <v Speaker 1>You know, we're at a point where not many big <v Speaker 1>studios feel like they can try new things. They kind <v Speaker 1>of have to just like do the most expensive looking thing, <v Speaker 1>and rock Star can do both, and that is you know, <v Speaker 1>while their games are not always for me, I've had <v Speaker 1>a lot of fun with Grand Theft Auto games before, <v Speaker 1>and usually it's like that means I get to you know, <v Speaker 1>go online, get a bunch of mods, and just explore <v Speaker 1>this sandbox. I hope the sandbox is more robust than <v Speaker 1>ever before. That would be the thing I would be <v Speaker 1>most curious about, and that that would mean, like, you know, <v Speaker 1>characters that look and feel alive and are living living <v Speaker 1>their lives. And you know, that early trailer really made <v Speaker 1>it seem like that was a possibility. <v Speaker 3>We'll see how they deliver. <v Speaker 1>At the very least, there's going to be some big, <v Speaker 1>massive story that a lot of people will play through. <v Speaker 2>On top of that, grub, I think the open world, <v Speaker 2>sandbox y ness of it is going to lend itself <v Speaker 2>well to social media games like Tomadashi Life, Pacopeia, even <v Speaker 2>Crimson Desert. You have been popping off in the different <v Speaker 2>things that can happen in the world, and with GTA <v Speaker 2>six probably being a gigantic fleshed out Florida or wherever <v Speaker 2>else it's going to be in, I think it's going <v Speaker 2>to drive people to pick it up because of like <v Speaker 2>the social sharing aspect of it as well. <v Speaker 1>Yep, you know what. One last question, what are the chants? <v Speaker 1>Give me a percentage number that when they announced this <v Speaker 1>that suddenly there is a switch to version of Grand <v Speaker 1>Theft Auto. <v Speaker 2>Six, Oh, grub, that's hard. I yeah, I don't think <v Speaker 2>it's high. I don't think it's high. I don't think <v Speaker 2>it's high. Has there I forget, Has there been any <v Speaker 2>cloud versions of games on the switch to? <v Speaker 1>There haven't been. But you got to remember, this thing <v Speaker 1>is going to be on PS four and oh wait wait, no, <v Speaker 1>is it is no? I'm sorry? <v Speaker 3>Is it not? No? <v Speaker 1>It's it's gonna be on the base PS five and <v Speaker 1>the Base Xbox Series S. That's the one I'm trying <v Speaker 1>to think of. It's gonna be on the Series S. <v Speaker 1>So if it could be on the series s it <v Speaker 1>should be able to run on the switch To with <v Speaker 1>some modifications. <v Speaker 2>Folks are saying what I'm thinking probably would not be <v Speaker 2>at launch if it is an OPAL. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's kind of thing where it's like that. <v Speaker 1>To me, there is a two percent chance, a one <v Speaker 1>out of fifty chance that they announce something and maybe <v Speaker 1>it's coming months later. Much more likely that this is <v Speaker 1>something that they tackle a year later or two years later. <v Speaker 2>So yeah, yeah, because this game either way is going <v Speaker 2>to have legs that they can eventually circle back to <v Speaker 2>when they eventually drop it on PC when they think <v Speaker 2>about it on switch To. I also see a a <v Speaker 2>higher percentage grub too for Rockstar to try and make <v Speaker 2>a mobile version of this game. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean the phones are definitely powerful enough, you know, <v Speaker 1>the more powerful phones obviously, but yes, the phones could <v Speaker 1>run this. It's just you know, selling I mean for <v Speaker 1>online definitely the core game of like selling those at <v Speaker 1>seventy eighty dollars. People don't buy games that are that <v Speaker 1>expensive on phones. So we'll see, Uh, okay, Fortnite zero actually, <v Speaker 1>you know what, let's take a break and we'll come <v Speaker 1>back and talk Fortnite's zero build updates. If you want <v Speaker 1>to skip out on these ads, you can do that. <v Speaker 1>Just go to gimebomb dot com slash Joint become a <v Speaker 1>premium member. <v Speaker 3>We'll be right back. <v Speaker 1>All right, It's Games Mornings, Jeff Grabb, Janachoa I said, <v Speaker 1>I said, a giant bomb dot com slash Joint. But <v Speaker 1>you could also go to YouTube dot com. I'm becoming <v Speaker 1>premium member on there, and that will also get you <v Speaker 1>the ad free version of the show. We'll upload that. <v Speaker 3>Just like everything else. All right. <v Speaker 1>Fortnite Zero Build is getting a much needed overhaul this week. <v Speaker 1>This is from Phil Owen at GameSpot Epics, giving the <v Speaker 1>Zero Build version of Fortnite Battle Royale a massive makeover <v Speaker 1>on May fourteenth, with the late last major update in <v Speaker 1>Chapter seven Season two. <v Speaker 3>Among Epics, many new editions. <v Speaker 1>Are a new utility slot exclusive to zero Build, glider <v Speaker 1>redeploy at any time when jumping off tall objects, and <v Speaker 1>unlimited sprint when you when your pickax is out and <v Speaker 1>you'll no longer die from fall damage. These are some <v Speaker 1>pretty fundamental changes that are likely to significantly alter. <v Speaker 3>The flow with Battle and Zero Build. <v Speaker 1>This is the first time since it was introduced in <v Speaker 1>twenty twenty two that Zero Build is getting its own <v Speaker 1>overhaul completely separate from Build Mode. Okay, Jane, I guess <v Speaker 1>my question from all that is is can Fortnite get <v Speaker 1>its juice back, get its mojo back? And I you know, <v Speaker 1>obviously there's still a lot of people playing the game, <v Speaker 1>and when they have big events, people do go back <v Speaker 1>to it. But I get the sense that these days, <v Speaker 1>when I start talking about a Fortnite's story, the eyes <v Speaker 1>of many people in this audience glaze over. People tune out. <v Speaker 1>They're just like I played Fortnite, I'm done, I've moved on. <v Speaker 1>So is Epic ever going to move on? I'm probably not. <v Speaker 1>They probably aren't a situation where they can't, so to <v Speaker 1>updates like this move the needle, what do you think. <v Speaker 2>I mean it in? It's entertaining to hear all of <v Speaker 2>these different changes and how it adds to the mobility <v Speaker 2>and then we'll ultimately affect the gameplay. But it isn't <v Speaker 2>enough to incentivize me to go back and get back <v Speaker 2>into Fortnite. At this point. I feel like the last <v Speaker 2>major thing at least in our spaces that made Fortnite <v Speaker 2>kind of like revitalized it or put it back into <v Speaker 2>like the mind's eye if you will, was the Simpsons <v Speaker 2>pack of stuff with having Springfield and everything, and I <v Speaker 2>just can't. I can't immediately think of what would make <v Speaker 2>give it another boom. I actually can, but I don't <v Speaker 2>want to put that evil out into the world. Can tie, <v Speaker 2>of course, the anti virus, but there's I can't think <v Speaker 2>of a major franchise that would incentivize like a lot <v Speaker 2>of the I guess millennial to older millennial audiences to <v Speaker 2>go back to it. I feel like it has its <v Speaker 2>built an audience because that has just become their de <v Speaker 2>facto game. But I don't know what Fortnite can do <v Speaker 2>to get and driven new audiences that haven't already like <v Speaker 2>dove into it. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I uh, you know it. <v Speaker 1>Obviously, if they haven't dove in at this point, it <v Speaker 1>seems unlikely that they will now. <v Speaker 3>Obviously, there's a lot of young people. <v Speaker 1>Coming online every day and this is a game that <v Speaker 1>could could certainly be there for them. But a lot <v Speaker 1>of those kids have already started playing Roadblocks, and Fortnite <v Speaker 1>tries to meet them by being its own version of Roadblocks, <v Speaker 1>and that just doesn't seem to work. And for as <v Speaker 1>much as that can be a strategy, obviously epic once <v Speaker 1>older audiences that have more discretionary spending, and it just <v Speaker 1>feels like they have played this game out, they have <v Speaker 1>had their time with it, and the the ability to <v Speaker 1>sort of be surprised by it and have that sense <v Speaker 1>of novelty that hey, I'm getting something new here is <v Speaker 1>becoming more and more challenging and more and more challenging, <v Speaker 1>I should say. And then for the you know this <v Speaker 1>zero build mode, which is definitely the thing that I <v Speaker 1>would be playing if I was playing Fortnite, it's like, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I mean some modifications here or there. I mean that <v Speaker 1>these sound like improvements to me for sure, but it's <v Speaker 1>not that it's not the headline that is. <v Speaker 3>Going to grab me and bring me back. <v Speaker 1>And really, even if you like I like obviously like <v Speaker 1>Star Wars, do you do Star Wars stuff all the time, <v Speaker 1>and that's not bringing me back. And you know, the <v Speaker 1>Simpsons was great. There's only so many Simpsons in the <v Speaker 1>world that you can pull that lever on. So yeah, <v Speaker 1>I think Fortnite just continues to be in a weird <v Speaker 1>space and it's you know, it's and it's not that weird, <v Speaker 1>right that this is just what time does. The shit <v Speaker 1>like this is normal, but it's a little abnormal because <v Speaker 1>this game is supposed to be forever. It feels that way, <v Speaker 1>at least to me at this point. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Like Greb, I don't know if you saw, but <v Speaker 2>they added Overwatch skins to Fortnite, that's right. Yeah, And <v Speaker 2>I didn't even see that make a massive impact at all, <v Speaker 2>like across the various timelines. So I don't know what <v Speaker 2>else can do other than trying to tap into an <v Speaker 2>existing big audience. But like you mentioned, you and I <v Speaker 2>are big Star Wars fans didn't feel compelled, if at all, <v Speaker 2>to go back to explore any of those we reported on. <v Speaker 2>That extraction shooter mode featuring Disney characters, I don't know <v Speaker 2>if that's going to be enough to drive people back way, <v Speaker 2>especially because extraction shooters are just such a niche genre <v Speaker 2>in themselves that like getting people to get out of <v Speaker 2>either the zero build mode or the standard mode is <v Speaker 2>challenging enough. We saw that with where like the UGC <v Speaker 2>stuff that they were really pushing hard didn't take off <v Speaker 2>as much as Epic wanted it to be or wanted <v Speaker 2>it to. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, we'll continue to kind of like track games like <v Speaker 1>this as they try to like Navigate their the Late Life. <v Speaker 1>And you know, I mentioned or Blocks. That is a <v Speaker 1>game that came out in two thousand and six and <v Speaker 1>sort of found and it's forever Niche that's twenty years old, <v Speaker 1>and I think Epic absolutely wants Fortnite to be able <v Speaker 1>to get to a point where one day it's twenty <v Speaker 1>years old and there's more people playing than ever before. <v Speaker 1>That seems like a difficult transition because the kinds of <v Speaker 1>people it mostly attracted are people who are used to <v Speaker 1>playing games for maybe a couple of years, then they <v Speaker 1>do move on to the next one. And Fortnite has <v Speaker 1>been able to sort of transform itself into the next <v Speaker 1>one a couple of times. But I think it has <v Speaker 1>found itself at a fork in the road where that <v Speaker 1>you mentioned the Disney stuff. <v Speaker 3>Yes, you know, is that going to bring people back? <v Speaker 1>No, that's done out of obligation to Disney for the <v Speaker 1>big payday they're getting from Disney, and that serves a <v Speaker 1>completely different purpose than exciting the audience that you want, <v Speaker 1>that your core audience at least. I mean, you're gonna <v Speaker 1>be able to bring people in with the Disney stuff, <v Speaker 1>for sure, but that is not what we're talking about here, epic. <v Speaker 2>I know you're listening. Get your check books ready, Okay, <v Speaker 2>all right, address it to Janachoa, and I promise I'll <v Speaker 2>share the money with the gang and everything. Just release <v Speaker 2>the sitcom season. Just do the sitcom season. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I mean, I am. <v Speaker 1>I think that's where and they need to like fully <v Speaker 1>embrace millennial bullshit. They need to like fully just be <v Speaker 1>like that's what this game is at this point. It's <v Speaker 1>kind of cringe. It's just it's the kind of stuff <v Speaker 1>that these like Austin Powers, like the Michael Myers season <v Speaker 1>of just like Mike Myers, not Michael Myers, Mike Myers, <v Speaker 1>just like all of his characters, all the Adam Sandler <v Speaker 1>characters in the season. Like, that's the kind of stuff <v Speaker 1>that I think actually would move the needle loo. <v Speaker 3>Rub And it's dumb and embarrassing a little bit. <v Speaker 2>We've joked around about like releasing the Seinfeld characters, the <v Speaker 2>Friend's characters, hell, throw in the Sex and the City ladies. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>But the part I want to posit to everyone that <v Speaker 2>I think would at least get a chuckle out of <v Speaker 2>everyone is if Fortnite adds a laugh track. <v Speaker 3>Holy shit, Jan, Yes, Like I mean look, that would <v Speaker 3>be a. <v Speaker 1>Good use of AI, right, just like use a little <v Speaker 1>bit of context like that, A I could sort of <v Speaker 1>glom onto to be like now is the time to <v Speaker 1>hit the and when it's bad it would be even better. <v Speaker 1>Just like mistimed laughter would actually rule. <v Speaker 2>I like love that if you were playing in duos <v Speaker 2>or like a squad and then your squad member dies <v Speaker 2>and then you just hear the crowd oh would just <v Speaker 2>go so hard. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, just like two characters that like like Ross and <v Speaker 1>Rachel meet and the audience go whoo, like say it <v Speaker 1>by the bell and shit, yeah. <v Speaker 2>Oh grab I smell I smell the check coming. <v Speaker 3>Cut the check. <v Speaker 1>Come on, come on, Sweeny, give us your money. All right, <v Speaker 1>let's keep going here. With its latest update, Nintendo has <v Speaker 1>already added most of Virtual Boy's game library to Switch Online. <v Speaker 1>This is from Andy Robinson at VGC. Nintendo has added <v Speaker 1>five new Virtual Boy games to its Nintendo Switch Online <v Speaker 1>Plus Expansion Pack subscription service. From today, users with physical <v Speaker 1>Virtual Boy access with the Virtual Boy accessory will be <v Speaker 1>able to play v Tetris, Jack Bros. Space Invader's Virtual Collection, <v Speaker 1>Virtual Bowling, and Vertical Force Jen. If you were to <v Speaker 1>go out and try to buy those games today. That's <v Speaker 1>like fourteen hundred dollars with the games right there. In Japan, <v Speaker 1>a six game Virtual Fishing is also available from today. <v Speaker 1>Today's new releases mean that in the West, twelve games <v Speaker 1>are now available on the Virtual Boy NSO service, adding <v Speaker 1>to the launch games that debuted in February. Nintendo previously <v Speaker 1>confirmed a total of sixteen Virtual Boy games planned for <v Speaker 1>release on NSO, including Mario Clash and Mario's Tennis. Users <v Speaker 1>are also still waiting for the promised previously unreleased Zero <v Speaker 1>Racer and d Hopper. Given that only twenty two games <v Speaker 1>were released for the Virtual Boy console over the course <v Speaker 1>of its brief life in the nineteen nineties, players. <v Speaker 3>Will have the vast majority of the VB library. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, jam, just by percentages, this is already the most <v Speaker 1>complete library on NSO, which is really stupid. Uh, but <v Speaker 1>I love it. I mean, we knew these were coming. <v Speaker 1>They did tell us they were gonna have sixteen games <v Speaker 1>in this library. <v Speaker 3>I think it's almost all of them. <v Speaker 1>Except for like water World and maybe a couple others. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>it's I am. I still get excited about this. I <v Speaker 1>have the Virtual Boy accessory sitting out over there like <v Speaker 1>everyone else. It does give me a headache, and I <v Speaker 1>don't care. I don't care. <v Speaker 3>So cool. I'm glad they're doing this. <v Speaker 1>It is, you know, their dumbest system, and they're given <v Speaker 1>it the most like complete preservation treatment. <v Speaker 3>It's a little silly, jan yeah. <v Speaker 2>I if they're going to go through the links to <v Speaker 2>release a peripheral to emulate or emulate the experience of <v Speaker 2>the Virtual Boy, I would hope that they put as <v Speaker 2>much of that library, if not at the library and <v Speaker 2>its entirety, out on Nintendo Switch Online for preservation purposes, <v Speaker 2>also just to let everyone know how odd that's that <v Speaker 2>platform was. Many games came out in total for like <v Speaker 2>the Virtual Boy. Oh okay, you're almost there, Nintendo almost there. <v Speaker 1>So the only Virtual Blood games that haven't been confirmed <v Speaker 1>is coming to the service are Nestor's Funky Bowling, which <v Speaker 1>I think should eventually happen because that is a fully <v Speaker 1>Nintendo game based on the Nester character from Nintendo Power <v Speaker 1>Right Chat, Panic Bomber, excuse me, st Gundam, Dimension War, <v Speaker 1>Space Squash, Virtual Fighting, and that's not Virtua Fighter, that's <v Speaker 1>Virtual Fighting, Virtual Lab, Virtual League Baseball, and Kevin Costner's <v Speaker 1>Wonder water World, which you know that may be the <v Speaker 1>most important virtual play game. <v Speaker 2>Yes, of course that they should save that one for last. <v Speaker 1>You can blight me with a virtual blay game word. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>if that's what you want to do, absolutely I would <v Speaker 1>do that. Let's make it a water world, why not. <v Speaker 1>As a reminder, this is part of Nintendo Switch Onlines <v Speaker 1>Expansion Pass. So it's the fifty dollars a year option <v Speaker 1>I believe. And then you do need the physical adapter <v Speaker 1>to play these, and that is either the one hundred <v Speaker 1>dollars virtual Boy shell that looks like a virtual boy <v Speaker 1>and behaves like a virtual boy, or there is a <v Speaker 1>cheaper cardboard alternative that is twenty five dollars. Yeah, Nintendo, <v Speaker 1>all right. Xbox PC app references game Pass expansion into <v Speaker 1>China and possible disc to Digital Future initiative. <v Speaker 3>We'll talk about it. <v Speaker 1>The Verge reports that that references in the Xbox PC <v Speaker 1>app point to Project Soluki, described as China market expansion <v Speaker 1>for game Pass. It might feature rewards and subscription tiers. <v Speaker 1>This same update also has this thing called Positron, which <v Speaker 1>has far fewer details but seems to be some sort <v Speaker 1>of convert your disc to a digital ownership key instead, <v Speaker 1>which is reminiscent of the old Xbox One controversy that <v Speaker 1>happened on early and it's time where it's like, hey, yeah, <v Speaker 1>all your games are basically digital, even if they're disc <v Speaker 1>even if they're discs, and you're basically just gonna activate <v Speaker 1>on your system and then the disc is worthless. Now, <v Speaker 1>there's no indication that that is necessarily what's happening here. <v Speaker 3>We don't know what's happening. <v Speaker 1>It probably does have something to do with the next <v Speaker 1>generation Xbox Project Helix, and how it will exactly work <v Speaker 1>is up in the air. But let's say it did <v Speaker 1>work exactly like it was going to work on Xbox One. <v Speaker 3>Things have changed, right jan. <v Speaker 1>Like people would probably be like, shit, I mean, I <v Speaker 1>don't like this still, but now it feels like the <v Speaker 1>tides have turned enough or would people still be able <v Speaker 1>to create enough of an uproar that Microsoft would have <v Speaker 1>to rethink it yet again? <v Speaker 2>I would hope that, I mean, with all the changes <v Speaker 2>and things getting shaken up at Microsoft and Xbox, I <v Speaker 2>would hope that they're listening at least a little bit. <v Speaker 2>But given the news cycle with Xbox Grub, it's very <v Speaker 2>hard to predict what if they are listening or who <v Speaker 2>are they listening to. So I'd be interested to see <v Speaker 2>if there's enough uproar, if anything actually does even get <v Speaker 2>mentioned over there. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I. <v Speaker 1>Think that this is like something that they would always <v Speaker 1>be like looking to have like worked on. There's no <v Speaker 1>guarantee that this stuff actually is enacted in any one way, <v Speaker 1>and like the engineering team figuring this stuff out is <v Speaker 1>going to be very different than the public relations team <v Speaker 1>figuring out how to actually present it to the public. <v Speaker 1>And then you know, going into China, there is so <v Speaker 1>many considerations there. China is a regulatory nightmare for Chinese companies, <v Speaker 1>let alone foreign companies, which is basically it's basically a <v Speaker 1>non starter. So this would be like a curated version <v Speaker 1>of game Pass, is what it sounds like. <v Speaker 2>Jan, Oh, what do you think I mean? We speaking <v Speaker 2>on that, Greb. We saw how Slay the Spire Too <v Speaker 2>got review bomb to hell on Steam just because that <v Speaker 2>was one of the only means of communication from Chinese audiences. <v Speaker 2>So this is definitely going to have to be a <v Speaker 2>carefully curated library of game Pass that is going to <v Speaker 2>be very different than what is available everywhere else, and <v Speaker 2>it is not not just with video games, it's also <v Speaker 2>other forms of entertainment that have to go through an <v Speaker 2>incredibly strenuous regulatory process. That being said, I still feel <v Speaker 2>like if Microsoft can get this up and running, the <v Speaker 2>Chinese audience is massive, and if they can get this <v Speaker 2>to take off, it will take off. <v Speaker 3>Yes, I mean it does feel like, hey, this was <v Speaker 3>always in the works. <v Speaker 1>Xbox One got released in China a few years back <v Speaker 1>after the console ban was sort of lifted, but every <v Speaker 1>game still has to be. <v Speaker 3>Approved one by one by the government. <v Speaker 1>It's not like the ESRME rating system where it's like <v Speaker 1>it's a self regulatory thing. You can put your game out, <v Speaker 1>you can put your game out without a rating, but <v Speaker 1>some stores just won't handle it. <v Speaker 3>No, no, you just can't be out in China unless. <v Speaker 1>You have a approval from the government. Now, of course <v Speaker 1>there's the gray market and Steam. People just download Steam <v Speaker 1>and find ways to make that work, and that it <v Speaker 1>exists in it's like weird limbo. But technically you're supposed <v Speaker 1>to get approval from the government and Microsoft would have <v Speaker 1>to do that, so this would have to be this <v Speaker 1>curated version of game Pass. <v Speaker 3>And then it sounds like the real answer. <v Speaker 1>Here for Xbox and Microsoft is so like, yeah, we're <v Speaker 1>gonna have the library of games. That's what people think <v Speaker 1>of as game pass. But maybe it's time we shift <v Speaker 1>this what game pass can be, and in China at <v Speaker 1>the very least, or starting in China at the very least, <v Speaker 1>we can begin offering up other sorts of things that <v Speaker 1>feel like the main attraction because China has a different <v Speaker 1>sort of relationship to video games, and that could be <v Speaker 1>a premium currencies for a lot of free to play games, <v Speaker 1>because the Chinese audiences just do not have the same <v Speaker 1>sort of immediate skepticism for for free to play games <v Speaker 1>that that a lot of the rest of the world does. <v Speaker 3>Uh. <v Speaker 1>They just think that's very that's very normal in that <v Speaker 1>country and has been basically from the beginning. And then <v Speaker 1>there's there's you know, an obvious tie here where it's <v Speaker 1>like Microsoft is Blizzard, and Blizzard is huge in China. <v Speaker 1>It's like it's like it's huge everywhere, and so it's <v Speaker 1>like maybe they can offer up special goodies in Blizzard <v Speaker 1>games and that could be the reason to get game <v Speaker 1>Pass in China. <v Speaker 3>It sounds like they're trying to set up game Pass. <v Speaker 1>To be different depending on where it's launching where it's <v Speaker 1>coming out, and like you know, obviously to deal with <v Speaker 1>the regular, regular regulation, but also like making games is hard, <v Speaker 1>making sure that you always have new games and game <v Speaker 1>pass is always going to be a challenge. <v Speaker 3>What if that was emphasized less? What do you think? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Greb, I feel the Chinese audience in greater industry <v Speaker 2>and how the industry is deployed over there is such <v Speaker 2>a black box to me, just because of the heavy <v Speaker 2>regulatory procedures. But it's interesting Chat points out weird here <v Speaker 2>or Wired. In China, they get special unique version version <v Speaker 2>of Wow with a lot of cool specific stuff. It's <v Speaker 2>kind of neat is how they finish that off, So <v Speaker 2>I could easily see them spinning that off also into Wow. <v Speaker 2>If maybe this is how you a slightly cheaper way <v Speaker 2>of how you are able to play World of Warcraft <v Speaker 2>over in China, And like you mentioned, maybe there's different <v Speaker 2>special currency because that audience is conditioned in a different <v Speaker 2>way than how other audiences are. I'm interested to see it. Also, <v Speaker 2>I don't know if this opens up smaller titles to <v Speaker 2>make its way over to China and for them to <v Speaker 2>gain success over there as well. I'm into that if <v Speaker 2>they can get through whatever regulatory process they have to. <v Speaker 3>Yep, it's you. <v Speaker 1>Know, China is a nut that all these companies have <v Speaker 1>wanted to crack for a very long time, and there <v Speaker 1>is no one obvious way to do it. And for <v Speaker 1>a long time, the conventional wisdom has just been it <v Speaker 1>is so challenging, it's not worth doing. Just partner with <v Speaker 1>someone domestically and let them, let them take their massive cut, <v Speaker 1>which is how it has worked. <v Speaker 3>You know. <v Speaker 1>One of the reasons it's been, you know, the Chinese <v Speaker 1>market is so frustrating to so many developers is you've <v Speaker 1>got to give your thirty percent cut to the platforms. <v Speaker 1>Then you got to give your thirty percent cut to <v Speaker 1>the publishers on top of that, and then sometimes there's <v Speaker 1>like these platforms inside of platforms and they get another <v Speaker 1>cut and it leaves very little for the developer. Obviously, <v Speaker 1>Microsoft is large enough that they can navigate that a <v Speaker 1>little bit better. They have had a little bit of <v Speaker 1>a rocky relationship with net Ease, which is their Blizzard <v Speaker 1>partner in China, you know, but that seems be mostly <v Speaker 1>back on and I bet netdies would be like, yeah, <v Speaker 1>if you want to try to figure out game Pass <v Speaker 1>and give people more reasons to play the game through <v Speaker 1>us by getting bonuses through game Pass. We can figure <v Speaker 1>that out, although it's a possibility that Microsoft begins doing <v Speaker 1>that with the idea of one day they're the ones <v Speaker 1>publishing World of Warcraft and whatever whatever else in China. <v Speaker 1>But that's going to take years and years to get <v Speaker 1>to that point, and it has to sort of start small, <v Speaker 1>and that seems to be what this would be about. <v Speaker 3>All right. <v Speaker 1>Amazon's still eyeing a Lord of the Rings game after <v Speaker 1>reported MMO can cancelization, cancelization, cancelation Jesus. This is from <v Speaker 1>Eddie McCoo at GameSpot. Amazon Games has confirmed it has <v Speaker 1>not given up its efforts to make a new The <v Speaker 1>Lord of the Rings game after multiple MMO projects in <v Speaker 1>Middle Earth did not work out. Amazon Games boss Jeff <v Speaker 1>Gradis told Eurogamer, our creative team continues to explore a <v Speaker 1>compelling new game experience that does justice to Tolkien's world. <v Speaker 1>We are working closely with middle Earth and remain excited <v Speaker 1>about the ip. Middle Earth is the name of the <v Speaker 1>company that now owns and operates this right, They're not <v Speaker 1>where they say we're working with middle Earth. I don't <v Speaker 1>think that means we're working with the denizens of the <v Speaker 1>fantasy world. Amazon's latest attempt to make a Lord of <v Speaker 1>the Rings MMO failed to materialize in anything, as it <v Speaker 1>was reported in October twenty twenty five that the game <v Speaker 1>had been canceled amid wider layoffs. A source told Eurogamer <v Speaker 1>that this project, which was in the works alongside rights <v Speaker 1>owner Embracer Group, important to remember that entered pre production <v Speaker 1>only months before the layoffs were announced in twenty twenty five. <v Speaker 1>The MMO project with Embracer was announced before talking to <v Speaker 1>any developers, a source said, adding that the game had <v Speaker 1>only one or two people working on it as a <v Speaker 1>side project for many years. According to the source, only <v Speaker 1>a single piece of concept art was created to the project. <v Speaker 1>For the project, however, when Amazon said it was winding <v Speaker 1>down its other MMO New World, the company reportedly planned <v Speaker 1>to reassign staffers to the Lord of the Rings MMO, <v Speaker 1>but that effort did not work out. This was Amazon's <v Speaker 1>second attempt at a Lord of the Rings MMO, as <v Speaker 1>the company previously partnered with Leeu for an MMO based <v Speaker 1>on the popular series, but that was canceled back in <v Speaker 1>twenty twenty one. Amazon and MMOs. They love this stuff. <v Speaker 1>They keep going back to it. They still see it <v Speaker 1>as the future for me. Jan it's this story is <v Speaker 1>the story of the last few years, which is a <v Speaker 1>prestige IP. <v Speaker 3>It's just not a strategy. <v Speaker 1>You just can't be like we, hey, I have an idea, <v Speaker 1>let's go get an. <v Speaker 3>IP and so well, oh okay. <v Speaker 1>Every company's tried that in the last several years, and <v Speaker 1>there was a period there where that was the strategy <v Speaker 1>for companies like EA with Star Wars and a bunch <v Speaker 1>of other stuff, and it just obviously was a half <v Speaker 1>big thought that did not that or what it did <v Speaker 1>was it led them back to where they were right <v Speaker 1>before that, which was we need to own our own <v Speaker 1>IP and go back in that direction. It's like, so, Amazon, <v Speaker 1>what else do you have going on here? What other <v Speaker 1>thoughts do you have beyond Lord of the Rings is <v Speaker 1>a recognizable IP. <v Speaker 2>I also don't know grab Lord of the Rings online <v Speaker 2>is still a thing, correct? <v Speaker 1>I think Lotro is still a thing. Yeah, I never <v Speaker 1>I never played it. I don't know much about it, but. <v Speaker 2>Grub I feel like there has been a strong appetite <v Speaker 2>online for a Lord of the Rings single player game <v Speaker 2>because I shadow of Mortor is a thing no one <v Speaker 2>has been able to shut up about the Nemesis system. <v Speaker 2>And if I'm correct in my thinking, WB still owns <v Speaker 2>the rights to the Nemesis system. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, they have the patent. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, the patent. So you couldn't have that in a <v Speaker 2>New Shadow of Mortar. But I don't think that should <v Speaker 2>stop you from having another one of those Jimmy jams <v Speaker 2>that I don't think we need another MMO, And Gub, <v Speaker 2>You're right before where it felt like the solution was <v Speaker 2>let's go acquire an IP and work backwards from there. <v Speaker 2>Obviously that is not panned out well for them. But <v Speaker 2>also I feel like the problem, Grub is this starting <v Speaker 2>and stopping and starting and stopping. What was Amazon's last <v Speaker 2>MMO that I was it? New World? <v Speaker 3>Did they have have they had one since New World? <v Speaker 2>It might have been remember I don't remember New World. Sure, <v Speaker 2>but I thought that did fairly well and then they. <v Speaker 3>And then they shut it down right exactly? Yes, I mean, <v Speaker 3>I don't get it. <v Speaker 2>If I was like in the Lord of the Rings <v Speaker 2>fandom and was excited about an upcoming MMO, I'd be <v Speaker 2>a little bit hesitant because you could throw in a <v Speaker 2>bunch of time, a bunch of hours, a lot of <v Speaker 2>money into playing this game, only for it to get <v Speaker 2>shut down a year maybe two years later. <v Speaker 3>Yep. <v Speaker 1>I uh yeah, I guess I'm just a little shocked <v Speaker 1>that amaz On Plant is still more MMOs. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>After New World, I would have been like, Okay, that <v Speaker 1>one seemed like it could have it couldn't have gone better. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, and they still had to close it down. <v Speaker 1>And now you're gonna I mean, they have seemed to <v Speaker 1>have like a really strong bond with Embracer and their <v Speaker 1>ability to like maybe get a decent deal on using <v Speaker 1>the on the Lord of the Rings ip. Maybe that's there, <v Speaker 1>But yeah, it just feels like a little bit lost. <v Speaker 2>I'm curious because it seems like the James Bond ip <v Speaker 2>is working well with IOI, so I wonder where the <v Speaker 2>disconnect is happening with some of the other IP that <v Speaker 2>Amazon owns. Because it's not just Lord of the Rings <v Speaker 2>James Bond I believe it's also tomb Rater. Yes, yeah, <v Speaker 2>that's right, and there may be like one other thing. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, that also sounds right. <v Speaker 1>All right, let's uh, let's get through the rest of <v Speaker 1>these stories. There's some other stuff drop and we'll see <v Speaker 1>if we can get to that. BioShock creator says switch <v Speaker 1>To proves graphics have reached diminishing returns. This from Liam <v Speaker 1>Dulan at Nintendo Life. Ken Levine talked to IGN said <v Speaker 1>realism doesn't age as well as more stylistic things. BioShock <v Speaker 1>still looks good, I think because it wasn't trying to <v Speaker 1>get every nut and bolt super realistically rendered. It was <v Speaker 1>more stylized. Look at say the switch To and even <v Speaker 1>the new Steam machine coming out. Those are not massive <v Speaker 1>technological upgrades. Obviously that wasn't their strategy. I think people <v Speaker 1>are realizing that we've sort of hit a diminishing returns <v Speaker 1>with that. <v Speaker 3>And look, I mean he's not wrong. I just feel <v Speaker 3>I would be. <v Speaker 1>Like, it's kind of been that way for a long time. <v Speaker 1>I think it's been that way plainly and obviously since <v Speaker 1>for the last decade. <v Speaker 3>I always point to Doom twenty sixteen. <v Speaker 1>That's my hallmark of games don't need to look better <v Speaker 1>than that, And games haven't really looked better than that <v Speaker 1>since Doom twenty sixteen. And then it has performance as well, <v Speaker 1>like great performance and all that stuff. But I mean, <v Speaker 1>going back to the Wei, this has been Nintendo's strategy <v Speaker 1>of we can roll lie on stylistic visuals over realistic visuals, <v Speaker 1>and that will save us a lot of headaches and <v Speaker 1>time and money and people won't care as much. And <v Speaker 1>now it's like, yeah, Nintendo was way ahead of the <v Speaker 1>curve there, but in the grand scheme of time, they <v Speaker 1>weren't that ahead of the curve, and they were just <v Speaker 1>like they spotted the problem and they had a solution <v Speaker 1>and to kind of come in here and be like, eh, <v Speaker 1>but I guess I would say to this, it's like, <v Speaker 1>you still don't hear many developers talking this way. And <v Speaker 1>I think it's maybe a good sign because I think <v Speaker 1>jan I would be very happy if it became common <v Speaker 1>wisdom that you should just be making your game to <v Speaker 1>run well on the switch to period. I just, you know, <v Speaker 1>at least visually. I get that the CPU could be <v Speaker 1>an issue. If you're trying to do a bunch of <v Speaker 1>simulation stuff, that's fine, but we're talking about visual fidelity. <v Speaker 1>If your game visually can like look good and perform <v Speaker 1>well on the switch to, I think you're going to <v Speaker 1>be in a better position to succeed than if you <v Speaker 1>try to take advantage. <v Speaker 3>Of the PlayStation five Pro, for example. <v Speaker 2>I am one hundred percent with you, grab B. I <v Speaker 2>also feel like you're going to reach out to more <v Speaker 2>audiences that way in the long run, versus trying to <v Speaker 2>have whatever hyper realism graphical fidelity on the PS five Pro, <v Speaker 2>and especially as that freaking console climbs up in price <v Speaker 2>as the days go by. Yeah, I just become more <v Speaker 2>slightly disinterested with it. But speaking about games at aging <v Speaker 2>or age, well, look at Astrobot, look at Ratchet and <v Speaker 2>Clank from this generation. I believe those games are going <v Speaker 2>to continue to look good years afterwards. It isn't new <v Speaker 2>things that Ken Levid is positing, but I'm I guess <v Speaker 2>I'm glad to see that someone at a high position <v Speaker 2>like him is thinking about this as well. Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 2>he's right. BioShock one two parts of Infinite that I've <v Speaker 2>seen still haven't played. It still look great by today's standards. <v Speaker 1>Agree from Software in Katakawa, from Software's parent company say <v Speaker 1>the Dusk Bloods is still set to release in twenty <v Speaker 1>twenty six, and also from Soft is going to do <v Speaker 1>more self publishing publishing internationally. That'll save them money, it'll <v Speaker 1>get them a bigger cut of the Pie give them <v Speaker 1>more control over marketing and all this stuff. Sounds like <v Speaker 1>that's one of their plans to grow from software even more. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, more importantly, maybe is the dust Bloods still <v Speaker 1>scheduled for this year? They said that in plain language <v Speaker 1>that dust Bloods is twenty twenty six. They also said <v Speaker 1>elden Ring Tarnished edition for switch To is also twenty <v Speaker 1>twenty six, but that one feels pretty likely at this <v Speaker 1>point and maybe even very soon. So yeah, dust Bloods, <v Speaker 1>you still buying this one for twenty twenty six? <v Speaker 2>Jan I think so, Grub. I think so, especially since <v Speaker 2>we are in a post Night Rain world with from <v Speaker 2>Soft and we've seen the success of that. I can <v Speaker 2>I feel that from can can nail it with the <v Speaker 2>dust Bloods. I checked out the tarnised edition and that <v Speaker 2>played completely fine compared to reports of it running very <v Speaker 2>poorly from a couple months ago. So I'm hopeful that <v Speaker 2>this is still coming out in twenty twenty six. The <v Speaker 2>thing that I'm most intrigued by is From getting into <v Speaker 2>May getting into self publishing on their own accord. <v Speaker 3>Yep, yeah, I think that. I mean it's the right move. <v Speaker 1>I mean they seem to run a foul of their partners, <v Speaker 1>you know, not running, but they seem to get annoyed <v Speaker 1>by their partners, whether it's Activision or Sony or anyone else, <v Speaker 1>and it kind of leaves a bitter taste in everyone's mouth. <v Speaker 1>It's like, you know what, just handle this stuff yourself <v Speaker 1>and put these games out everywhere. You've had enough success <v Speaker 1>now at this point to earn that and probably to <v Speaker 1>afford it and build up those skills, and then you <v Speaker 1>could sort of insulate yourself from the things that just <v Speaker 1>seem to annoy the people over from Soft. <v Speaker 3>Okay, and then all right, chat, I got a game <v Speaker 3>for chat. <v Speaker 1>I want you guys to list the games that you <v Speaker 1>think Capcom's says are it's a leading brands. There's a <v Speaker 1>list here. Let's see if you guys can get it. <v Speaker 1>There are let's see one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, <v Speaker 1>which ones? Okay, they they do not have street Fighter <v Speaker 1>listed here, it's not comprehensive. <v Speaker 3>Let's see Resident Evil. <v Speaker 1>Yes, actually, you know what, so let's see Recival and <v Speaker 1>Street Fighter aren't listed here, so obviously those are even <v Speaker 1>above this. <v Speaker 3>So think like one tier down from that. Mega Man <v Speaker 3>is there. <v Speaker 1>Yes, Mega Man A Monster Hunter is also up there <v Speaker 1>with the Street Fighter and stuff. Okay, so let's see <v Speaker 1>Breath of Fire is not there, Beautiful Joe, Devil May <v Speaker 1>Cry is there? Yes, Ace Attorney is there, Dragon's Dogma <v Speaker 1>is there. I don't think I'm seeing a couple of <v Speaker 1>these though. There's a couple on here still that people <v Speaker 1>haven't mentioned. Did anyone say Dead Rising? Dead Rising is <v Speaker 1>one of the answers? Then Okami and Annie Musha. So <v Speaker 1>they have leading brands here listed as Mega Man, Devil <v Speaker 1>May Cry, Dead Rising, Okami, Dragon's Dogma, Ace Attorney, and <v Speaker 1>Annie Musha. Obviously, the fact that that Street Fighter, Resident <v Speaker 1>Evil and a Monster aren't here is like suggesting something <v Speaker 1>about what they mean here by leading brands, which is <v Speaker 1>we want to like make it clear that we still <v Speaker 1>believe in these ones. But are you surprised to see <v Speaker 1>Dead Rising there? <v Speaker 2>Jan, I'm I'm surprised, Grub. If anything, I guess street Fighter, <v Speaker 2>Monster Hunter, and Ari not being on here just in <v Speaker 2>Capcom's mind makes me think that they are totally in <v Speaker 2>their own lanes at this point, that they are kind <v Speaker 2>of separate from this core Capcom ip Uh. I'm very <v Speaker 2>curious what this may potentially mean at internally at capcom <v Speaker 2>as to like what I mean, they think you have like. <v Speaker 1>A couple of words und here, whether we're it says <v Speaker 1>leading brands, It says like new IP, sequel, remix, ports, <v Speaker 1>et cetera. So it means like all these are at <v Speaker 1>least up for maybe one of those things. <v Speaker 3>I don't know what new IP. <v Speaker 1>Would necessarily mean, but maybe they mean like working, going <v Speaker 1>into other realms of media or something like that, which, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I could see that for any of these. <v Speaker 2>I feel really bad for the Dino crisis fans out there, Crub. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it does feel like they missed their window. You know, <v Speaker 1>there was they were working on a Dinal crisis thing <v Speaker 1>of some sort recently, and I think they just cancel it. <v Speaker 1>And it's like they're like, we'll focus on Resident Evil <v Speaker 1>even more, which I'm sure is actually the right move, <v Speaker 1>and eventually they'll run out of Resident Evil, and I <v Speaker 1>think the Dinal crisis will be waiting for them at <v Speaker 1>that point. <v Speaker 2>Grub. They're gonna circle back, is what they're gonna do. <v Speaker 3>They're gonna circle exactly, all right, just real quick. <v Speaker 1>Squaring Nix reported its earnings that sales were down but <v Speaker 1>profits were up. Final Fantasy Tactics, Dragon Quest one to two, <v Speaker 1>and seven Reimagined all did very well for them, and <v Speaker 1>it's like, Okay, that's pretty good news because I feel <v Speaker 1>like we come out of Squaring years previously and we <v Speaker 1>get the kind of equivalent releases and Square never seemed happy, <v Speaker 1>So maybe they're be able to Maybe they're actually finding <v Speaker 1>the ones that are working and they can keep doing <v Speaker 1>more of that. The maybe headline for why overall revenue <v Speaker 1>was down is that Final Fantasy fourteen had don trail <v Speaker 1>the previous year, did not have something equivalent this year, <v Speaker 1>and obviously that's changing because now they have more stuff <v Speaker 1>coming for Final Fantasy fourteen. All right, that does it <v Speaker 1>for the headlines. Let's get to the poll question from yesterday. <v Speaker 1>I am going to bring up the most fresh results <v Speaker 1>right now. Let's see here, did you get sorrows yes <v Speaker 1>or no? <v Speaker 3>I did? I said yes? <v Speaker 1>Seventeen percent of people also said yes. Eighty three percent <v Speaker 1>said no. Jane, I just I think that there is <v Speaker 1>a chunk of that eighty three percent where it's just <v Speaker 1>as soon as that thing is fifty dollars, I will <v Speaker 1>jump on, and then a much bigger slice that's like <v Speaker 1>once that thing is forty dollars or less, I will <v Speaker 1>be there. I you know, I'm like having a conversation <v Speaker 1>in a comment section right now with something about like, <v Speaker 1>are rogue lights and roguelikes niche? And it's you know, <v Speaker 1>I just think it's a hard thing to say. When <v Speaker 1>Slay the Spy or two launched to five hundred thousand <v Speaker 1>concurrent players on Steam and sold three million copies in <v Speaker 1>a week and five million copies in a month, those <v Speaker 1>are blockbuster numbers. That is a blockbuster video game. So <v Speaker 1>you know, whether or not it's popular because it's a <v Speaker 1>roguelike or whatever, I mean, it's clear that those games <v Speaker 1>can find an audience, and it's not the exact same <v Speaker 1>kind of game that Sorrows is, obviously, But I think <v Speaker 1>the bigger problem is just the price. People have an <v Speaker 1>idea in their head of the value of a roguelike, <v Speaker 1>and seventy dollars ain't it. And I think we kind <v Speaker 1>of all kind of accepted that is what's happened here <v Speaker 1>with Sorrows, right. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I think maybe if the story I don't want <v Speaker 2>to say developed more but resonated with audiences better, it <v Speaker 2>could have justified this seventy dollars price tag for folks <v Speaker 2>that like want to re engage with that go into <v Speaker 2>runs to like kind of get more story. But I <v Speaker 2>think a lot of people will unfortunately see this as <v Speaker 2>like this is just returnal again. <v Speaker 1>Yes, that's the maternal was new and fresh and a <v Speaker 1>part of a kind of a launch window of PS five. <v Speaker 3>They had a lot more going for it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, But I don't I can see that audience or <v Speaker 2>those people also thinking like seventy dollars, especially when there <v Speaker 2>are newer experiences or other games that will I don't <v Speaker 2>want to say command your time better, but respect your <v Speaker 2>time better. I'm not saying that SARS doesn't, but like <v Speaker 2>there are other games out there, I can see people <v Speaker 2>just waiting to spend their money on like a forts <v Speaker 2>like Double O seven. <v Speaker 1>Yep, all right, a new poll question, do you care <v Speaker 1>about realistic graphics? <v Speaker 3>Yes or no? <v Speaker 1>Minutes since we've like I've just asked that kind of <v Speaker 1>question realistic graphics. I don't like the word graphics anymore, <v Speaker 1>jan I just don't like the way it sounds. Feels <v Speaker 1>like h does not appreciate the nuance of what, like <v Speaker 1>what video game visuals are actually doing these days. <v Speaker 3>But I think it serves this question, I. <v Speaker 2>Think of anything us here GB care more about style. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, oh yeah, yes, yes, and style is so nebulous, right, <v Speaker 1>It's not not just the graphics, not even just the art, <v Speaker 1>just everything, the presentation, the ux honestly, like you know, <v Speaker 1>sound effects, what happens when you press a button, like <v Speaker 1>just the feedback. All that stuff contributes to style and <v Speaker 1>it's so much more than just graphics. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, all right. <v Speaker 1>We'll get the results of that on Giant Bombs Game <v Speaker 1>Best Mornings tomorrow to wrap up the week. Looking forward <v Speaker 1>to it, everybody speaking of Giant Bomb Jan I mean <v Speaker 1>there's more Donkey Kong happening. <v Speaker 3>What times he starting today? I know, we got some other. <v Speaker 1>Stuff happening on the schedule that might cause a little <v Speaker 1>bit of a break. <v Speaker 2>Mikey is going to be after we wrap Tomodacci Life <v Speaker 2>later or marry me Tomodacci today. <v Speaker 1>Yep, and going into the evening everybody. Uh so, I <v Speaker 1>mean he's not gonna have like a mega long stream. <v Speaker 1>He might maybe goes like four am. We'll see, but uh, <v Speaker 1>you know. <v Speaker 2>I think I have a podcast today. <v Speaker 1>We do have a podcast today, Yeah, I mean you <v Speaker 1>can take a break from that too, if he needs <v Speaker 1>to I don't know. We'll see and then uh, he <v Speaker 1>will probably be playing tomorrow as well, so uh, but <v Speaker 1>tune in. I think there's a strong chance that he <v Speaker 1>will be bothering the beavers today, and again, you're not <v Speaker 1>gonna you're not gonna want to miss that. I need <v Speaker 1>to see if because if he one shots it, it's <v Speaker 1>gonna be the most impressive thing I've ever seen. And <v Speaker 1>I think there's a chance that happens, not really bad, <v Speaker 1>but if he does, it'd be amazing. And then if <v Speaker 1>he doesn't, I think he's gonna be on there for <v Speaker 1>a minute, because that isn't a too so mini game. <v Speaker 2>Yes all right, uh yeah, go ahead, please thankmind folks <v Speaker 2>at home. Every new premium subscriber or new YouTube member <v Speaker 2>feeds into the of blighting one of the owners. And <v Speaker 2>that's not just the normal blight boy rotation of grub <v Speaker 2>Dan and mikey Uh. You can also bled Jeff and <v Speaker 2>that's it, Jeff Beckler's. <v Speaker 1>And Janet Choa. He's on the list, guys. I think <v Speaker 1>I think Jan's the funniest one to do. That's that's <v Speaker 1>the one I want. <v Speaker 3>To see about that at all. <v Speaker 1>Uh, I'm really you know, people are like, hey, what <v Speaker 1>about like your your friends getting you know, Lexi or <v Speaker 1>Jason Fanelli on there.
