I'm sure they're pain like you know, people say, like we have a baby, it hurts. I don't know, but.

Eight schools with official religious affiliations that we've beaten the most at Kentucky. So eight schools with official and not counting the schools in can because we've beaten Trancy a lot and Bellerman and Kentucky wa. So take out of the schools of Kentucky. But I love seeing that they've got some support out there already. I assume it's gonna be a good crowd today and hopefully finish the job. I know they're the betting favorite, where it's at that point where you get that anxiety when you have the expectation to win. You just got to keep pushing forward. Two more times in.

Speaker 2: Twenty fourteen in basketball, we were the underdog in every game, and then we got to the championship and we were the favorite and we lost. Now we weren't the underdog in every game. We've been in the favorite. But now it's Oh, with Nebraska out, it's there for the taking and we have to spike the ball. The field did kind of open up Nebraska Laws. I'm kind of glad Texas Law.

Speaker 5: Yeah, that was kind of scared to play them a third time this season, just because the other games were so close. But this team, Kentucky team, they faced adversity many times, down to two sets to Texas and come back and win it.

Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I it should be fun. They've put out a lot of videos of the players. Nike sent them this swag bag of like everything. I mean, they and the players were opening up. You can see how they're how excited they are. I just think it's gonna be It's gonna be fun. I mean this fan base, I mean, volleyball has provided this fan base with its excitement post COVID. I mean, it really has. Like the best things that have happened to this fan base post COVID on the field have been volleyball winning the title, baseball going to the World Series, and now this again. I mean, I guess, you know, football, I guess the Will Levish year was good, and then basketball, I mean, I guess last year the run in the tournament. But like, volleyball has kind of carried a lot of our emotion in the last six years.

That's never really been the case for volleyball until recently, but it's been the thing to get behind and the most exciting sport we've had for a while now.

Now, Nebraska fans don't seem thrilled by that comment. A lot of comments suggest hey, you're still at Nebraska, you have a game left. You only went in the portal once and you came here. I think he later said uping like, well, I didn't mean me, but what do you What did you make of that comment?

Because neither one of them had a better year, and and really neither one of them won els You didn't win at all, and Nebraska just won a little bit.

But it also doesn't mean that the change was not correct. You know, it's easy to just go, like, if will Stein doesn't work out, it'll be easy to go. Well, maybe we should have just kept Stoops, but it was time for a change. And then you just have to hope that the next guy works out.

Yeah, I mean, what if what if the Rockets made it? What if Reid was playing here, you know, I mean you could have. I think it would definitely work. I mean the other thing about if you think about with Lexington where it's centrally located, is we're located relatively close for a lot of teams, So like if it was Lakers, or like if the Bucks made it, their fans can drive here, right, Pacers their fans.
