They lose yesterday, but the Mets also lost yesterday, So the Mets helped the Grids get in the playoffs because they could not beat the Florida Marlins. The Reds play the Dodgers tomorrow night, Wednesday night. It's the best of three, Shannon. So if there's a game three and be Thursday night, and I can't believe we're talking about the Reds in the.

I felt like before he left for South Africa. Now they're in, but they're gonna be out of the playoffs before he could even return. So think about that, while Matt's been gone, they're gonna make the playoffs and be out of the playoffs before Matt can get back on the radio.

But that was his scenario when he learned that the Reds had clinched yesterday. It's about four or five o'clock here, I'd say maybe a little later, middle of the night for him. But I got to witness his live reaction as we did Cover zero, and he is very fired up, as you can imagine.

Some of my best memories as a young man was with my father, remember watching the Stevie Got Loose and watching this the LSU back in the day, and just it's heartbreaking where the football program is now, especially like so my father is. He's a very sick man. He's got advanced cancer and he made the comments the other day he said, uh, you know, when something happens to me, when I die, I want you to see if you can get Mark Stoops to be one of the pall bearers at my funeral so he can let me down one last time. Little things like being the most tenured coach in the SEC and watching players trip over themselves to try to get lined up a few weeks ago at home. Some of the end of the half stuff. It's things like it's not like you're losing on a last second field goal and you were in it and were this close, and oh this player didn't pan out in the portal, just missed at that position, or oh no, this injury. It's stuff that it's like, how are we having these same conversations at this point.

I mean, Sam Pittman's buyout I think was a little over nine million dollars, so what a fourth of what Mark Stut's buyout is. So I think that had a lot to do with it. But if I'm Arkansas, I mean you just got to look and see what happened at Louisville with Bobby Petrino didn't work out either time really there, so it kind of feels desperate a little bit. I feel like Arkansas probably could have just played out the rest of the season and then you know, got a better coach. But here they are with Patrino. We'll see if it works out for him. And no matter who you have coaching, it doesn't matter who it is. If they don't have top quality players, especially at those skilled positions quarterback, defensive line, secondary, offensive line, I mean, we're just not going to be able to compete. Northern Kentucky basketball player Take Kenny from Newport High School picks Kansas and then they said his final three was what Kansas Louisville, Arkansas. Kentucky wasn't even in the finals. And I thought Kentucky was in good standing with him for a long time. But take Kenny, who now plays for Overtime Elite, was grew up in Newport, Kentucky. Gonna play at Kansas's he's he's. I saw him in middle school at an eighth grade tournament. He was a seventh grader. He was the best player on the floor, best player on the floor of the seventh grader.
