00:00:02 Speaker 1: What is a Bachelor Happy Hour. It's your host Backy here, and I'm so excited for this episode today because we're doing something a little bit different. We have a very special episode for you all because today we're talking all about Bachelor Live on Stage and I know through DMS and through comments on social media, you'll have a lot of questions regarding this show, and so I am here. I am bringing on all of the seven guys that will be on stage with me throughout the entire show to chat about what's to come, what we're excited for, all of the tour dates, the cities, etc. It's gonna be amazing. We have been waiting for two years since COVID really ended the last leg of this tour, and so I'm just ready to get back on the road. I think the best way to start this all is to give everyone a quick little recap of what exactly Bachelor Live on Stage totally is, because again, there's so much any questions and when I first went out on tour in twenty twenty, no one knew what to expect. Obviously, we did not know that COVID would shut everything down mid tour, leaving a lot of people with questions of just is this going to come back? So here we are ready to go. Like I said, we are going to be doing things a little bit differently this year. Very very exciting. But basically to recap what it was when this originally started, I was co host with my dear friend Ben Higgins, and basically what it was is it was bringing the actual Bachelor Bachelorette show to you to a city, to a theater for all of the fans and the followers to really feel like they were part of the show. It truly was like the biggest watch party for the fans and a night where everyone could feel like they were actually part of the show. They were immersed with us. We were able to interact with the audience and ask them questions, and pull people up on stage and have guest appearances from everyone within Bachelor Nation in each city. At that point, we had one local guy in each city who was our bachelor, and then we had anywhere from I would say ten to twelve women up on stage as contestants vying for that one final rose at the end. At that point, the couple, if you will, the happy couple, received a fun package from us to go and experience a great date night around the city. This time, it's going to be a little bit different because I don't have one set co host with me. Instead, I will be bringing seven different guys from past seasons with me each week, and they are going to be the Bachelor, but they're also going to be like a guide as well, and so we're going to be able to give our experiences throughout the night of things that we found memorable or remember or like keem moments from our seasons, and really give more behind the scenes details of what we experience in our personal life. I would say the coolest and probably my most favorite part of each show is that it's always different because each city is vastly different, each contestant is vastly different, the crowds are different each night. We never know what to expect. It's really like roulette with what people will say, what they'll do. There's wild cards, there's tears, sometimes, there's laughs, there's drama, there's kisses. There's all these fun moments that we just kind of have to wing it each night, which makes it so fun. We have a main outline for the show, so the key moments from the Bachelor and Bachelor ide and imparadise that we always see like group dates, limo entrances, the row, ceremonies, hometowns, fantasy suites. That's all part of this show. And it's very interesting because we get to travel on a tour bus, which I never thought I would experience in my life. It was a new change of pace, but something that was just actually really fun and unique and truly the best way to just experience new cities all across the country. And this time I'm so ready because again because COVID shut things down the first time, we didn't get to make it to half the country, and so this time, fingers Crossed were making it all the way through to every city. We're gonna be hitting forty plus cities. It's gonna be a wild time, but something so exciting. So if you want to join, or you want to get tickets with your friends or family, or even just for yourself, or if you want to potentially be a contestant on stage with us, you can check everything out and buy tickets at Bachelor Live onstage dot com. Basically, we're kicking it off in Peoria, Illinois on March sixteenth, and we're hitting, Like I said, forty plus cities in a span of one and a half months. So it's gonna be busy. It's to be chaotic, but so much fun. Again, you can find those tickets, you can find the cities, the venues, the dates all at Bachelor Live Onstage dot com. So without further further ado, I think I just have to introduce you to these seven men who will join me, be joining me on stage. We've announced this on Instagram, but they are going to be here today to talk about their dates, their cities, what they're excited for. So I think we just have to bring on our first special guests of the day, and that is one of our fan favorites, mister Rodney. What's up? What's up? Rodney? How's it going good? Long time no see Rodney. I have to say you, like, you just have this energy that's infectious. I feel like it's just contagious, and that's why I'm so excited to have you on Bachelor Live on stage with me. What are you most looking forward to? I mean, as you know, this is so new to me, but I'm really excited to see like bachel Nation face to face. You know, I think right now as being a part of the cast. We kind of just see bachel Nation through social media or maybe whenever we go out and just get fans coming up to us. But I think it's going to be so nice to be up there, alive on stage and being able to interact with fans and do like actual meet and greet and play games and obviously have like a Knight of the Mansion. So I'm just so excited to finally be a part of it and see it firsthand. And everyone's excitement, because I know I'm excited. I think everyone'sip to be too. Well, I think everyone's excited, and they're especially excited for you. I mean I had mentioned this too separately, but so many people have slid into my own dms or have made comments on the posts in regards to Bachelive on stage, asking first of all, what cities you'll be in, and then being pissed that you're not in certain cities with them. So to start my first question, can you give me a list of the cities and dates that you will be traveling with me? Yes? So I will be live from April fifth to April tenth, and my cities will be We'll start off in Pittsburgh and then we'll go to Morristown, New Jersey. Then from there we'll go to Roanoke, Virginia, North Charleston, Fayetteville, and then lastly we'll finish in Atlanta. So I'm really excited out of all of those cities because they're all gonna be great. They're all going to be so vastly different and fun in their own unique ways. What one, though, are you most looking forward to. I'm excited to go to Carolinas. I'm excited to go there. I've heard a lot of great things. Honestly, I think I've always I've also always wanted to go to Atlanta, So Atlanta is going to be That's gonna be very exciting for me. That's always a bigger city I've always wanted to go to as well. I rarely ever get to travel to the East Coast, so yeah, it'll be exciting for me to go on tour and see other cities that I've never been before. So I'm just excited to kind of get out there and see what else this nation has an offer, especially vacherination. Oh, it's gonna be wild, and something that you will definitely experience is just how intense and the best way Vachel Nation is because there's a reason that people have watched and love the show for close to do decades. It's like it just brings people together. But when you're actually face to face with the crowd and the fans, like, it's not unlike anything you've ever experienced before. And I will say, some people get pretty rowdy, So how are you going to handle the fans? And I would say men and women who throw themselves at you, who scream at you, who want to grab you, Like, how are you going to handle all of that? Because it's gonna happen. It's gonna happen round to be honest, I have no idea how I'm going to handle that. It's just going to be one of those things where I'm just gonna wing it and play it by ear and see what happens and just react as best as I can. I'm sure I'll definitely be shocked on these tours someway somehow, but I'm glad I have you there so you'll kind of lead me through it and kind of give me heads up. But like you said, I mean, every city's different, every day is going to be different, So I have no idea what's going to happen next. It's it's gonna be a wild ride, changing each and every night and every moment. So you've been part of Michelle's season, so you kind of know what this Batchelor world is like. But the contestants that are joining us on stage like this is totally new to them. They've never done anything like this before. So what is your best piece of advice to give the contestants that will be on stage with us? My best advice is to really truly just be you, be genuine, be who you are. That's I mean, there's nothing better than that. And I think some people, obviously I'm newer to the on support part, but I've seen it firsthand being on the show, and some people off camera will be really cool and on breakfast with them and they're just really chilling Colm, and then you know, on camera and things start to change, And I think it's so much better if you just be you the entire time and you don't switch up, you don't try to act different. I think some people get worried about, like, oh am I am I being weird or nervous or awkward. Just be you, And that's something where I finally felt comfortable because I was like, you know, I'm just gonna be me and see how far it gets me and see what happens. And so for anyone who's gonna be on that stage, it might be a little nerve wracking or anything like that, but it's like, hey, no need to be shaky, like, let's have fun. Just be you. I want to I want to see you laugh, I want to see smile, I want to see personality. Yeah, that's kind of what I'm looking for, is to just have fun and make it a night that we will never forget. What's something that if a contestant does this on stage, you would automatically give your roaths to them. Um. Wow, that's a good question. I'm I'm trying to think of like what would act at Wow me, I guess, because I feel like there's gonna be some pretty good lima entrances. So I'm really excited to give out like a first impression rose Like, I can't even imagine how that's gonna feel, you know when when we're out there and starting off in Pittsburgh, you know, for my first show. I'm just like really excited to do that and just gonna figure out, Hey, who actually wowed me? And who just earned this rose off the back? So I'm not really sure what they could do to wow me, but I'm just excited to see what they come up with because I know what's going to happen. Yeah, so much is going to happen. And it looks like somebody is crashing our party right now. Rodney's up, I'm good. How are you good? Man? Wow? This is the excitement I get from you guys every single night on stage. I'm here for it. Yeah, how the hell have you been? Been? Good? H life? It's going well and a month away from the tour, so I can't freaking wait to get on that. Well, you guys together, we're both on Michelle Season and I'm sure experienced and shared so many crazy memories. What's one thing that you guys like remember together that really stuck out two during your time on Michelle Season. I'm curious to see if this is gonna be the same answer. The first thing that popped in my mind is we all missed music, like in the worst way, and so just having the guys whenever we weren't from Michelle, just sing out loud, just singing all kinds of songs and doing terrible versions of those songs and doing not very good justice to those people that originally sang them. But that was a highlight for me, just having fun with it and just doing our own version of karaoke in the back. How was Rodney as a singer? Oh, Rodney, Okay. Ronnie gives themself not enough props in any category, and especially when it comes to singing, let alone. The dance moves that everyone is gonna be seen on tour, Hell yeah, yeah, he's down that way. Oh, this is what I like to hear, because you know there's gonna be a lot of dancing on stage. I hope you guys stretched beforehand. Yeah, we're definitely gonna have to stretch. No, Rick, I already knew Rick and I were gonna be close from night one because seeing him at a table and me and me as an apple, I just looked at him. I said, you know what, man, I feel you're paying. I'm here with you. We're gonna make it there tonight, and I can only imagine how sore you are. Um, So yeah, I just I knew, and just seeing him, I was like, Rick, just please don't be please, don't be too tall, like out, he's all handsome, good looking and stuff. I was like, come on, Rick, like here. So no, I always knew me and Rick would be close, you know before after the show, all that good stuff. So I'm excited. We sing all the time and we joke around. But once again, as we talked about the advice, but Rick was himself the entire time, just like I was. So that's another reason why we got some curloaks and we really grew like we did. So yeah, I know we're going to see that on the tour and it's gonna be really exciting. Well, I can't wait to have you both alongside me, Rodney. It has been so much fun having you on. I will see you very very soon. In the meantime, I'm kicking you off because I'm chatting with Rick now and I'm going to get all of the good deats from him. Okay, I'm out. Thank you so much, Becca, I have a good one. Good to see you, ye, well, Rick, good to see you. We obviously had you on Bauchler Happy Hour a few months ago during Michelle's season, But since then, what's new? How have you been since we last spoke. I've been really good. I actually moved back to Chicago and I missed this city. I'm missing Midwest, and so it's so good to be back and what feels like home to me. But then outside of that, I mean, I just look back like I feel very fortunate. I've had those opportunities to be on show, but also just the friends I made. Obviously saw Rodney and now the bachelive on on stage on tour. I'm just I'm so pumped for it. Just I've had so many people reach out and it's so cool, Like I'm still not used to any means, by any means whatsoever, So it's like kind of it's fun. I can't wait to see these people in person and just have fun with them, have a great night, and just you know, create some memories. Yeah. Oh, so many memories will be created, so much fun, so many laughs will be had before we get into everything. Can you give all of our listeners the rundown of what cities and dates you will be traveling with me? Yeah? For sure. So I'm going to Minneapolis twenty sea, my hometown. I missed it last time I'm there. You know, I have heartbroken. March twenty three is Milwaukee Wisconsin March twenty fourth. I'm going to Cincinnati, Ohio on the twenty fifth, rose my Illinois, so all my Chicago friends are be coming out. And now on twenty sixth, I Cleveland, Ohio, which is basically home to me, and then Detroit, Michigan on the twenty seventh of March, so a full week and I cannot wait to make every stop. US is home to me, so I can't wait to meet a bunch of Midwesterns and others alike. But I think it's it's really cool to go outside Chicago to rosmat real close vibe. Also Minneapolis. I have so many great memories obviously from the show Milwaukee. I have a lot of friends Milwaukee. Actually it's close to Chicago, and then Cleveland, Detroit and Cincinnati. I mean all these things I've been to and I haven't been to in a while, so I'm excited to get back. You have a good stint on bachelab on stage with me, I will say before COVID shut us all down, the last time around. Our very last show we did ever was the Minneapolis show. And I'm not just saying this because it's my hometown and I have such a soft spot for it, But it was truly the most wild, fun show we did on the entire tour. Like the crowd there was wild, it was so electric, I think. So we have an audio guy and he had said that it was like the sound in that theater was more than like a rock concert. I believe like it was that crazy, Like Ben and I were on stage and I don't even think we talked for ten minutes because so many people were cheering and screaming, and so, yeah, that's something that you will experience. I mean, the women on the stage, like this is their first time. They feel like they're part of the show with us. But the audience feels like that too, So they feel like they'll have a say in your journey and who you hand out roses too. So you'll hear cheers, you'll hear screams, you're gonna hear booze, Like, are you ready for how interactive the audience will be? I want more, the most interactive audience that we can get. I want the wild ones. I want the fun ones. I want the ones. I'm want to be taking in everyone'es. You know, perspect I'm gonna be trying listening for help you know, I can't wait for a wild night like I mean yet create some memories. You gotta do some things outside your comfort zone to make it wild and fun, you know. And that's the thing. It's like you never really know what to expect. It's always a wild card. And that's the cool part about this is because you can't fully prep for this, so you just kind of have to go with the flow and embrace it. I mean, much like when you're on the actual show, you have no say in anything, right, Like you kind of just have to fly by the seat of your pants and say, Okay, whatever comes my way, I have to deal with it. And so that's what this night is going to be. Speaking of wild cards, we have somebody crashing our party right now. I have no idea who's hopping on this time room, but let's find out. Ah, we got Ivan here. What's up, guys, What's how's it going? Ivan? My people has gone good? He's crashing our party. I love it. Yeah, yeah, definitely. Here. I think we were just talking to Rick about just like how crazy fun these nights are gonna be. You've done a few more seasons, obviously, you were in Paradise with me What is one bit of advice for Rick, now that he's going to be way more immersed in the world of Batchel Nation that you can give to him for when he's on stage with me. Oh my gosh, Um, just be prepared for anything. You know. One thing I've definitely learned over last year is that Batch your Nation fans are passionate and uh, they're the best fans out there, and you just gotta be ready for it, to be honest. So I know you've been. You just got off the season and you're probably recognizing some of that. But with all these like super fans that are gonna be at these shows, I think the energy is gonna be great. And uh, you know I met you and when we went and did the photo shooting, I'm sure you're ready for it. You got to be ready for it. There's no going back now, Fellas. Yeah, yeah, Rick, it has been so good to see you. I can't wait to be spending more time with you on the road. I'm sure you're a busy guy, so I'm gonna let you go, but we will catch up very soon. Appreciate it, sorright, cool, I've been It's so good to see you. I have to say. Thomas is going to be very sad that he is not around to say hello to you. I'm sure he'll be calling you later. I know I haven't seen you since Paradise. How have you been. I've been really good. Uh, you know, life's weird, life's crazy, but I've been really good. You know. Just take things with stride, and I'm blessed, honestly to live the life I have, go through the experiences I've gone through, and then this is just like, you know, my third year in a great row. Now I guess where I'm like doing something Vatch Nation related and you know it always brings about exciting things. So very excited to be doing the tour. Good. Can you give all of our listeners a rundown of the dates and cities that you'll be in with me? Yeah. So I'll be doing six shows and they'll be I start off April eighteenth in New Orleans. April nineteenth, I go to Sugarland in the Houston area. Then April twentieth, I go to San Antonio. April twenty first, I go to Austin. April twenty second, I go out to West Texas or we go out to West Texas and Midland, and then April twenty third, we finish up in Dallas over at the Theater and Grand Prairie. So I'm very happy to be finishing off in my hometown there. I think that's gonna be probably my favorite show. Yeah, well, I was gonna say, because obviously you're from Texas, like this is your area, like you have of the best spot I think in the tour for you personally, what city are you most excited about besides Dallas. Oh, besides Dallas, I have never been to New Orleans, but I don't I absolutely love Cajun food. I don't know why I've never made it down there, So I'm really excited to try out the food. And you know, that'll be the first one, so I'm sure that's going to be probably the most nerve bricking one, but also the most exciting. So yeah, very excited for New Orleans. Well, I will say, I think we have a day off before or after New Orleans and so we'll be able to go and explore. I've been there once before, and we are going to eat our hearts out, Okay, we I don't know if we're going to fit into our outfits on stage letter that night, but try our best. One thing that's so exciting about each and every night is it's so different, Like we truly never know what to expect. And especially this time around when I have you and the six other men with me, every show and every week is going to be so different because you guys just bring something unique to the table. So what do you think for you personally, you're gonna be bringing to the shows that you're that you're joining me with. Yeah, so I think the most exciting thing for me. You know, I'm not like Connor where I'm gonna be singing up there. I'm well, you might be. You never know, Yeah, you never know. I'm singing up there. Justin's got the art thing going for him. But one thing I do know, especially since this is like my home area and in Texas specifically, is like the fans down here are great to me. I've seen that in Dallas, I've seen that in everywhere I've gone here, and um, I think I do know how to have a really good time. And once you know, the wine starts flowing with everybody and you know, we get into the groove. Um, I think it's gonna be a great knight for everybody involved. So we saw you Ontatious season right, and you were one of the contestants, so you were receiving the roses. Then we saw you on Paradise, whereas a little bit back and forth, you received the roses and you also gave some out. So do you feel like going into Bachelor Live on stage you're a little bit more equipped to be handing up the roses this time around. Yeah, no, yeah, definitely getting that little bit of experience of handing out some roses. You know, that's a different ball game, you know. I think the the definitely the more nerve wrecking part is receiving because you never know if you're gonna get one. But you know, through the help of the audience and yourself, you know, I'm sure we'll be able to you know, whittle down to you know, the top contestant each night, and then it's gonna be a good time. Do you think you're really going to pay attention to what the audience is saying because you could be so into one or several of the women on stage, but the audience could have a completely different approach or regard for them. How are you gonna how are you gonna deal with what they're saying to you versus what you're trying to go for. Yes, So for me, honestly, I'm gonna mostly just go off of the energy in the room. Whoever's doing the most and being the most entertaining and bringing good energy to the stage is who's gonna get roses for me. So that's all I want. I want everybody just to have a good time. It's good, lighthearted fun and uh, you know, I think if we go with that route, then you know the top performer. Well when I guess you could say, what is something that if one of the women does on stage, you're automatically in Like you're automatically gonna give them a rose. Oh oh, if you can get people to jump out their seats, then you're automatically going to advance in the next round pretty much. Yeah, if you can get the audience to jump out their seats cheering for you, that that'll do it. Okay, Okay, So ladies listening, if you're coming to any of Ivan's shows, if you're going to be one of our contestants, make sure you get that crowd going. Um. I just had to question about Oh I wanted to ask you, so, what is something that if a woman did this on stage, one of the contestants did this, you would be like, uh, I can't, I can't keep this one around any longer. Um, let's see if anything, Um, you know, there's not much honestly, Um, other than like no, yeah, there's not much unless you're being like super overly aggressive and hitting on me and like yeah, I don't know, trying to make out with me on stage randomly, then yeah, that's a that's a no no go right there. But now there's not much that's gonna throw me off. Honestly, I think I think it's going into it's just good, light hearted fun. So I'm really open for anything and just for them to be themselves. Really. Yeah. Well, I have to say there were some shows that we did where, because of course, like people like to have fun, they let loose, they have a few cocktails before they come on stage. Like there was one show I remember where one of the contestants kept trying to make out with the bachelor, like in front of all the other girls, Like she was very aggressive. But I will say it worked for her because for her, because she ended up getting picked at the very end and the couple dated for months afterwards, for months like they were I would say, the strongest couple. I'm not even kiddie. I thought that they were going to get engaged. Wow, So you never know. I think I might have to have one of those side talks for that person. Yeah, take the lima home, about to walk him off the stage. Well, we'll have a code word so if it gets if it gets uncomfortable, just like, we'll have like a symbol or something where I'll be like, Okay, I gotta step in for my boy Ivan. Uh. Speaking of stepping in, we have somebody else crashing our party right now, and I'm wondering who's up next. Oh, we got Justin. What's up Justin? You're growing up the facial hair, big dog, Justine. It's a little chili here. It's a little chilly here in Baltimore, so I gotta stay warm and honestly, yeah, you both are lucky. Is the only time that you two have met in person when you guys were doing the promo shoot? Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was the only time so far. I'm hoping. I'm hoping he makes it down to Dallas. Got a little birthday coming up soon, so Oh, yeah, that'd be fun. I want to invite too, Damn, I know, old on Becca, you have to invite as well. I already told Thomas. Okay, oh crash, I've been before. We let you go, can you because again you've been on the give and receiving end of giving out roses? Is there any advice so you can get for Justin when he's on stage with me? Justin, I think you should fall in love with multiple women on stage. That'll probably have the most chaos. Wait, I'm gonna take that. I gonna take that advice with a grandest song I did. I did tap into Paradise. I'm gonna take that one. Are you telling Justin that he should be sneaking out of the tour bus at night? Yes, oh you know I had to one. No, never know, Ye truly knows the time to do. You probably won't even get in trouble for it. Um, I never know. It has been so fun. I'm gonna kick you off, but I will be seeing you very very shortly, and I cannot wait. All right, much love, guys, I'll see you all right, We'll see you later on, Justin, How the hell are ye going on? I'm good? I'm good. I can't complains has life with you. Life's good. I'm excited for tour. It's going to be so fun. We've had some of the other guys already on talking about what to expect, what they're looking forward to. So before we get into all of that, can you give all of our listeners a rundown of your dates and cities that you'll be with me. Yeah, I'm starting. I think it's either the twenty eight end of March, last week of March through April third. I started reading, Um, I hit Boston, Baltimore, DC, Philly, and I feel like I'm missing one more, But I think that might be it. I think that might be it too. Well. The main one, the main thing that I have to tell you is that you're going to be on Oh yeah, you can't forget that one last That's the one that we were most looking forward to last time, just because it's New York City. It can't be beat. Did you ever think that you were going to be on stage in New York City? Honestly? No, no, oh no, Um, you're going to be on stage with me when it's my birthday. We're I think it's the DC show April third, So that's going to be time. Yeah, you got end with the bank. We will end it with the bank. And I think we have a day off before or after that too, so we'll be able to have some fun with Thomas. Will come to that one Um, okay, one thing that I have to bring up because when we saw you on Katie Season, you were known for your hilarious iconic facial expressions. Please tell me you will be bringing those to the stage. They don't stop. They come with me everywhere. Even if if I want to leave them home, they come with So that's inevitable. I don't know what to expect on this tour, but I there's only can guarantee it's my face is going to speak. I hope people get close ups of all of your facial expressions. And we have I mean, because like this is a full blown production. We have singing, dancing music, we have dancers who move the bodies around and prop changes like there's so much. But we do have a massive screen behind us, and so while we're on tour, I'm going to just get a compilation of all of your iconic facial expressions. We're just going to do like a compilation at the very very end of this. Did you see the compilation from from from KB season that they did at uh yeah, Rose Today? Ever, yes, we might need are coming back from part two. I'm so excited. This is like you said, like you never know what to expect. It's a wild card each and every night. So what is something besides the facial expressions that you are going to bring to the table as our bachelor. Honestly, I'm just I mean, like people may not know this. I'm sure they do now postseason. Um, but like, honestly, I'm just a clown. Um. I guarantee you, Like I said, I don't know what to expect. I guarantee you There's two things I can I can guarantee my my facial expressions and two I will probably embarrass myself at some point. Um. But that's kind of like that to me. That's how you have the most fun, you know. I don't take things too seriously, you know, you keep it loose, you keep it light, and I'm just there to have fun. And so I hope people will feed off of that energy and we can all have a blast. Oh we will that there's not about it. We will definitely have a blast. Obviously, this time around is a little bit different because each of you guys, you're only going to be with me for a week. It's not like you're going to be with me the entire time on tour. And so I think people, especially the women and the contestants on stage with us, think that, oo, maybe I will get a date with the Bachelor at the end of this, and you know, maybe somebody could happen. Do you think after all of these shows and after everyone that, you mean, if somebody caught your eye, would you be open to continuing dating them? I mean, never say never, right, Like I'm not you know, you never know the one could be on stage with you one night. Yeah, I guess we'll have to see. I mean, come with your best Let's see. What's something that somebody would do that would like make your jaw drop? Wow? You m m m to make my job. I mean, honestly, I don't think there's a single act or any one particular thing that somebody could say. I think it's just like I'm very intuitive, and I'm big off of vibes and just like natural organic connections and so like, as we're up there, we're loose we're having fun. If I can feel if I feel off with somebody's energy and they're in their female off of mind as well, and that you know, you just the vibe is there, you know when you know, you know, right, So I think it would be more of like a feeling than just like, oh they did this, they did that. You know it's uh, you know, if you feel you feel it? All right, Well, we're gonna see if we feel it on stage. At some point in the meantime, somebody is crashing in the party and I truly have no idea who's next, but let's bring them on because the more of the marror, right, Let's have a party. James, what's up? James? My man? Justin, I'm loving the beard. Bro look pretty good, right, and I appreciate it. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Uh. Okay, since you guys were both on Katie season together, you've gotten to know each other pretty well. Like, what's one bit of an advice you can both share with each other or something that you would like want to see from the other person on stage? Yeah, Justin, I'll let you go first if you got something wise, Yeah, no, I mean I just from obviously spending a lot of time with James during you know, filming and then you know just seeing them talking to him afterwards. Like I can't say James is one of the people. Like what you see is what you get, Like James is himself through and through one hundred percent of the time. Um. And so I mean, I'm gonna try and take my own advice, but I know you will as well because it comes easy, Like James, have you or yourself, people will love you. Um And like I said, it comes easy for you, you know, and uh for some brownie points. Probably bring the Yes. I was going to ask, is the dog coming? Yeah, So I'm in works with production and the travel team, but it's it's looking highly likely. It's looking highly likely. Well I'm excited. I will say. Minno was with me the last time around, and she loved the tour bus life, like she was living her best life, so spoiled. So if you can bring him, definitely bring him along beca. Once I heard that, I was like, all right, no brainer, Yeah, I have to bring him. He needs to, he needs I didn't know if Batchelive on Stage was pet friendly, but after hearing that, oh oh, I brought Minno on States with me almost every night. Like she would she would make appearances. She should have gotten paid. I love it. Justin, thank you. We will be seeing you so so soon. I cannot wait. All right, Yes, take care by Justin Um James. I have not seen you in quite some time. Obviously, we spent much time together on beach in Paradise. I have to ask this question because this is the only thing that I get into my DMS. When people saw that you were announced to be one of the Bachelor's with me, they want to know, besides the dog, are you going to be bringing Aaron out at all? How did I know this was coming? You know what, I'm fortunate enough. I obviously live here in San Diego, so I've kind of seen my tour dates, and I have a lot of cities that are just a drive away. So I'm hoping a lot of friends even family can come visit and included. I think we're getting some dates planned. But I'm sure you'll see him front row at one of the stops. Oh, we'll probably be on stage with you. Yeah, yeah, he might be one of the people you give that final rows too at the end. I mean, you know, we left Paradise together. What's not to say? Just walk off that stage with them and keep the keep the bromance going, buddy. Before we get into more questioning, I do have to ask you, because you mentioned you'll be in southern California, what are the dates and the exact cities that you will be at. Yep, so April twenty fifth, May one, and I have a bunch of great locations. I'm in alcohone Riverside, Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles, and then I'm venturing out to Salt Lake City. I have Reno, and then one I'm really excited for. I have Vegas on one of my dates. So it's gonna be a fun journey. You have one of the best weeks, I will say. And I think you, out of all the guys, have the most cities, right, like you're doing seven with me, I believe. Yeah, Yeah, it's it's gonna be jam packed for what is it just about a week, But I'm ready for it. I'm ready. Oh gosh, it's gonna be so much fun. So when we saw you come out on Katie season, well we didn't see you physically come out. We saw you in the box. Will the box be making an appearance on stage. I've come to just I've come to terms with it that I guess it's my signature entrance for now. I mean, for better for worse. If I have to roll out in a box in seven different cities, you know it. I did it. I did it in New Mexico, I did it on the beach and for Paradise. So I guess I just have to own it at this point, you know. So, I mean you are a literal gift about How would you feel about if one of the girls comes out in a box? Oh, I would love it. I would That's that's dedication. That's uh. You know, when I did it in New Mexico for Katie, I wanted to do something different, unique, show my fun side. So you know that would really resonate with me. So I'm all for it. I'm all for it. I love it. I will say, we do have some dancing and lip syncing in the show, and so her being in the box would be so hilarious because we have dancers in the background that kind of have to move all of the bodies because there's so much going on. So I would love to see one of the dancers just like moving this box around and having like the girl pop out with her microphone. Finally someone would be able to relate to the struggle and the pain I went through. Yes, impression, but it would go a long way. It certainly would be appreciated. And yes, I did hear about the lip singing and all the dancing, and that is something I'm extremely excited for. It's such a good time that I will say that's one of my favorite acts throughout the entire night, is that bit that group date. Okay, so this time around, we're doing the show a little bit differently. Before we had all the contestants ready to go, they would come up with their their limo entrances. This time, though, instead of having them way backstage, we're pulling people up from the audience. Like we They will come dressed ready to the nines, with their entrance already planned, and we will be hand selecting them from the audience. So what is something that if, like somebody from the audience who wanted to be contestant, you know, who's joining us, what would they have to do to catch your eye? You know what? I could give you this elaborate answer, but it's it's simple. I just I'd love to see someone that's just genuinely excited to be there, you know, walk up with a big smile on their face, super eager to kind of have this awesome interactive experience and just ready to have fun and have some laughs and you know, make some lighthearted connections. That that's really all I'm looking for, right just seemingly being excited to be there and ready to have a good night. Well, a good night will be had every single night. I can promise you that what's something unique that you will be bringing to the stage with me, because obviously all seven of you guys are so different, So what's something that's just going to scream James, Yeah, I think, you know, even going back to Justin's response, it was accurate. But in a sense, you know, I think dating back and going looking at my time in you know, the Bachelotte Batchroom Paradise, it took a little while for me to kind of come out of my shell, put my walls down, because, let's face it, it's it's just this crazy experience. You kind of are guarded initially, and you know, I just want to be able to get on stage and kind of show that that quirky side and fun side, which I think maybe some people haven't seen the full extent of. So yeah, just going up there having fun being myself and I see, I see my man Connor just joined us. I was gonna say, speaking of quirky fun, look who we have, Connor, Becca, how are you? Hey? We're great? How are you? I'm doing great. I'm so excited to see you well on Zoom. But well, we'll be together very very soon. I love having the both of you because you guys were not only together on Katie season, but you were together for a little bit on Paradise What And I'm sure you guys will both be together at some point, whether it's a guest appearance or whatnot on tour. So what are you guys both excited about? Like for the other person on stage? So Connor, I'd like to go first, if that's okay. I see that guitar in the background, and I've already messaged Connor about this. I told him you better bring that ukulele. I want to see solos busted out numerous times every night, serenading the crowd us A. He's a true performer, So that's what I'm looking forward to most. For Connor and I can't wait to see James's dance moves. While I'm doing the UK. He might be in the box. Yeah, you just you missed it kind of. I have a feeling that I'm going to be coming out of a box, definitely, James. What if what if they put you in a box the entire show? What if they don't let you out and you're in for two hours? No, I would be so pissed because I need you guys to help me with shit throughout the night. James. You remember when we fed When I fed you a chicken nugget through the hole in the box, that was you, huh, well a few of us. This is where the fenship blossomed. Yeah. Someone brought me a whiskey, which I appreciate it. So, you know, ye, like I was starving to death in there. We had to keep him alive. Well, look at him, He's going from a box to a tour bus. It's gonna be true. Blow up, James, I'm going to kick you up. But it has been so fun. I can't wait to see you soon. Yeah all right, take care to see James b Connor back at it. How the hell are I'm great? How the hell are you doing good? I'm gonna say so this last time we had to be unhappy hour. I'm Bundy didn't show up in the damn cat costume. I really I should have. But maybe I will on the tour of us. We'll see what happens. I actually I sleep in it every night. So if you don't bring the cat costume, I'm not going to allow you up on stage. Okay, well that's settled. Well maybe I'll get a costume too, and then we can just like walk around the towns during the day on our three hours and just have some fun. Hear me out, What if we both had cat onesies, I'm done. I'll have to get one. So I will work on that now in these in these weeks to come. In the meantime, give us the lowdown of your dates and cities that you'll be with me at. Absolutely so I am April twelfth through sixteenth. I'm in Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee. So I'm Fort Lauderdale, Florida on April twelve. The thirteenth is Saint Petersburg, Florida. Fourteenth is Pensacola, Florida, fifteenth is Birmingham, alabam Ama. And then the last one is the sixteenth, and that's Knoxville, Tennessee. Tennessee is my home state, pretty close to Nashville. Oh good, it's going to be such a blast. Well hopefully for that when you have all of your friends and family come out, I have to ask, besides the cat cossume, what will you for sure be bringing with you? Well, I mean it's a newsy answer. It's got to be the ukulele. The UKLEI was there for me on Katie's season. It was there for me in Paradise. Somehow it hasn't broken yet, even though I don't have a case for it. I've got just this little ukulely that I just carry with me or shoving my backpack. Somehow it hasn't broken yet, So I have a good feeling that it will last through the entire touring. I hope to see the ukulele. If you need me to get you a case, I will, because that baby cannot be broken. So one thing throughout the show every night is like there's so much happening. We have dancing, we have group dates, we have some singing, and that's something that I'm sure you're excited about. But overall, like, what are you most looking forward to on tour. Well, I've just heard from everybody that it's incredible like that, it's just an incredible night. Everyone has an absolute blast. So I'm really excited to meet a bunch of new faces. I'm excited to see you, and then I'm excited to get the crowd singing. You know, I'm gonna get up there, bust out a couple of crowd favorite songs and get the cloud singing along with me. So I'm just I'm most excited to meet all the new people. You know, it's gonna be such a blast there. And I've said this before, like there's nothing like the infectious energy of Bachelor Nation. It's like, you know, obviously you were on the show and you are on paradise, but you're still so far removed from the people who watched the show. So this is gonna be the first time that they're like screaming at you, cheering at you. You might even get booed sometimes if you sent out one of the wrong girls. Yes, like they feel like this is the first time where they actually have a say of who the last rows can be given to, right, Like usually you're watching through a screen and people are throwing stuff at the screen and screaming, but like they're actually going to be able to kind of help guide you. So how are you going to deal with that? Because this isn't your first time in front of the audience, But do you think you're really going to play off their wants and desires throughout the night? I mean, that's a that's a great point. I hadn't thought about that the crowd is going to be able to help me choose and interact with the girls. I mean, I think I have to follow my heart, That's what I'm gonna say. But I also the crowd might see things that I don't like. That's the thing when you watch back the Bachelor and Bachelorrette, we get to see things that the Bachelor doesn't that the Bachelorrette doesn't. So I hope if there's some drama going on, you know, the girls will film me in or the crowd will film me in and I will. It's gonna be hard to you know, figure out following my heart, but also listen to that crowd input. We'll see what happens. So how do you feel because when you were on Katie's season, Well, I will say more so for her mental all. You had a wild moment, one of those girls came up from the audience, you shared a special kiss on stage. You know not to say that that could or could not happen again, but would you be open to that? Oh, you know what, I'm gonna go with the flow and see what happens. I'm not gonna say us or no. If the moment's right, we're feeling it. Who knows. Okay, So, besides your infectious energy and songs and the uku lele, what is something else unique that you'll be bringing to the stage with us. Well, I don't know if the people are going to be as excited about this, but you know I'm great with the puns. So if you guys give me yes, it will be exciting. If you give me a microphone and half a second to myself, I'm gonna be making the dumbest jokes you've ever heard. Uh, we need we need like a crowd grown button or something like that. Or I'm just like, oh, want perfect. You can make the want want noise? Okay, I will, I will, Yeah, you'll make it. Or I'll make a joke and no one will laugh at all. I will hope you're prepared for I will. Don't worry. I got your back. I'm holding you to That is a bit of advice that you can give to the contestants because you've been on both ends. You were in kad season getting the roses and then on Paradise for a while giving them. So what's something that you can do to help kind of coach or navigate these women who are on stage with us. Absolutely, this is the same advice I've really given anybody who's like thinking about going on the show, or about to be on the show, or just the only thing you can do is be yourself and be genuine. That's like literally the number one thing when I was going into the show, I was like, this is going to be a strange situation that I've never been in. The only thing I can do is be myself and be genuine to who I am. And in that sense, it's not a competition because everyone is their own self. It's not like, oh, I'm better than this person or worse than this person or anything like that. It's just I was myself and if the connection is there, then that's magical. And the connection is there. So my advice to anyone coming on would to just be yourself, let your true colors shine. Don't be what you think I want you to be, or what anyone else wants you to be, who you are and just have fun, go with the flow. What's something that one of the women, either on stage or as we're pulling from the crowd for the contessants to come up on stage with us. What is something that they would do to catch your eye if a girl started singing, busted out a tune or ukulele or an instrument. I have always been partial the singers. I will say that you might just have a diting straight up right away on stage. Who knows, Let's do it? Hey, I think I think I think the Bachelor franchise would not be upset about it. Right, Stranger things have happened, truly truly. Um, are you excited to be living on a tour bus or does it make you nervous at all? Yeah? I was going to ask you about that. Are we sleeping on the tour bus? On the tour bus, we have different You and I have different tour buses because I don't want people to get confused. Yes, So basically, we don't get to share a tour bus. You are actually, Connor. This is my chance to tell you. You're actually driving the tour bus for us, so my commercial driver's license. Wonderful. You're up to date on everything. Um, oh my god, it's gonna be a wild ride. Speaking of wild we have one last guy joining us, and there he is. Sorry, there you go? Why sideways? I know? Yeah? All are we good? I think? All right? And up? What's going on? We have so many guys from Katie's season on this tour. It's so exciting. No, that's good. I mean I think we had a good group of guys during the show. So and obviously we're all close, so it makes sense. Um. Well, so Connor and I were talking a little bit about just like navigating these women and just you know, going with the wild ride that every show will bring. Connor has a bit more experienced because he was on Paradise with me. He not only got the roses but was giving them out. So, Connor, what's some advice that you can get for Andrew when he's on stage? Oh, Dan, Andrew's gonna crush it. Look, look, he's a he's a natural born performer. I would love it if we hear you sing on the on the stage, if you could bust out a couple songs and dance mooks not right now on stage, that would be my wish for you. Yeah. Uh yeah, I can't sing, but I can definitely dance one of those. Okay, we will be doing all of the above. Oh, and Andrew, you're you're in Saint Louis right March nineteenth. That's your show? I am. Yeah. Do you want to come to that one, Connory, because I grew up in Saint Louis, so I'm coming and my family's coming. Wow. I'll be in the crowd and pop up on stage at some point. Yeah. Well, we definitely still have guest appearances for sure. So I mean, you guys are all welcome at any show. Definitely, Connor, it has been a blast. Make sure you get your ukulele ready, get that cat costume ready. I'm going to send you idea of cat costumes that I'm getting, And in the meantime, we're gonna have a good damn time. We'll get that beauty slee until you hit the bus. You're right, I'm going straight to bed Andrew by you guys. Yeah, Andrew, catch me up. It's been a while since we've had you on batchlor Happy Hour. Before we get into all things tour, how are you. I'm good. You know, everything's going really well for me. Right now. I'm with my grandma and my family, so that's like the best party of the year where I get to hang out with them and I'm not like doing too much. So yeah, it's good the call before the storm because it's gonna get wild very fast when you join me on stage. To kick it off. Before we get into all of the questions about the tour, can you give all of our listeners the rundown of the cities and dates that you'll be with me. Uh? Yeah, March sixteenth, I'll be in Peoria. Then the following day after that, I'll be in Columbus, Ohio, and then we have Indianapolis, and then we have Saint Louis and then finishing it off in Kansas City. Great run. So we're starting the entire tour with you, no pressure at all. What are you most looking forward to and then also most nervous for. I'm just looking forward to, you know, just being able to connect with the people, the fans, um just to show them exactly who I am up in person. Um, and whatever you get on social media, like to keep it the same as who I am in person. So I just keep that same energy that I usually bring and I give it to a bunch of different people. Most nervous for is you know, just probably just chatting to the ladies or people have to bring up on stage. I'm just as nervous as they would probably be. Um, I don't know, I feel like this is such a different avenue for me. I'm usually playing football sports with a helmet on, so I can kind of hide. No, there's not. So it'll be fun and I'm I love doing different things in me. Challenge, how do you think you're gonna handle every night having ten to twelve women throwing themselves at you like you are going to be the Bachelor every night? Yeah, that's that's definitely different. Um, But I'm gonna try to, you know, be as humble as possible about it. I'll probably throw a couple of jokes in my group chat talking about it, saying I'm the man. But I'm just gonna try to stay and you know and just have fun with them and you know, give them the best time Yeah, is there anything that is like off limits to you that you refuse to do on stage? Everything spare game. I'm looking to just have a great time. That's kind of who I am, and I know that you are pretty funny, So I'm gonna whatever you got for me, just throw it out there. I'm ready for it. It's gonna be so fun. And I think the difference between this time around and the last time that we were on tour is like we had local bachelors for each city, so every girl got up on stage like thinking, you know, they could be the one and date this guy. But for you, it's it's kind of nice because the pressure is off, like, of course you're gonna be the bachelor and be handing out the roses, but like there's no pressure at the end of it. You get to go on your merryway whoever you pick and give that last for us who gets a great package for the city to enjoy. Um. That being said, though, would you be open if you did find one special woman on one of those stages and one of those cities too potentially continue in a relationship with them. Um, if it was in my city, like my actual sy like Chicago. Um, I don't have. I think that's the following unique after mine. I'm not a big long distance guy. Yeah, don't like it. Um, So if I mean, if there's someone I do hit it off with, I mean maybe we'll chat with other than that, like, um, pretty much coming in this very cordial uh like not liking for anything really crazy. Yeah, no pressure. Like I said, it's just gonna be a night of fun of probably a little bit of drama. We've seen tears, We've seen laughs, We've seen kissing, We've seen tears. Oh yeah, we've seen everything. We've seen everything. It's um and that's a thing, like especially for the contestants, like everything is so heightened, you know, it's like this is the first and they feel like they're part of vaterination and at times it can be scary to be up on stage. And that's why we just have to go in with such an open mind and make the women on stage with us feel comfortable. So if there's any bit of advice that you can give to these ladies who are joining us, what would it be. I would just want to encourage them to just be themselves and be able to have fun with it. Um, you know, not every day you get to you know, go on dates and it's not like serious, crazy question being thrown at you, um, but also like being on stage and watch everyone listening to your date. So at the same time like it, just enjoyed the process and enjoy it, you know, just being yourself with someone else and you know, around good company. So I'm assuming you probably know how each night goes, right, Like, there's the group dates, there's the road. I have no idea what, Oh my god, I'm gonna have to really prep you before this, but I'm scared. Scared to be scared. It's so fun. Basically, it's like a condensed season of The Bachelor and Bachelarette on stage. So to start it off, we'll pull the women up on stage with us. They'll do their fun unique limo entrances. Then you go start into giving out your first impression rows. We go into more fun group dates, and in between each of the group dates, we'll have mini rows ceremonies where you'll go from ten to twelve women to eight down to six, down to four. Then we make a mini hometowns where that's kind of the cool part is like then it kind of mellows where you can actually ask some questions to get to know them a little bit deeper. But we've even recreated a little fantasy suite action if you will. And like I said, we've seen everything. I mean, listen, it's a family friendly show, so like we keep it PG. That's not to say we haven't seen some steaming makeouts in the Cabana Fantasy Suite that we make. Um. But but like how open are you to like maybe giving these in some kisses or some special attention. Um, we will, We'll have to see. Um. I mean I'm pretty open. Like I said, I'm still single. UM, so it's not like a red flag for me. Um, but we'll see. I I you know, if you get a kiss, it's probably like you know, you earned it. It's not like something I'm just gonna be given out for sure. We have a whole bit where it's like this lipsync competition where you and I kind of kick it off and like show them how it's done. But then you'll probably be put on a chair or a stool and the other women then we'll have to go and lip sync and dance around you and and oh I like this. It's a great thing. So funny It's probably like one of my favorite parts of the night because the girls go all out with their dance moves, which is like hyping up you and the audience. It's it's gonna be a blast um overall, though, you know, it can be anything from going to new cities to sleep on a tour bus to just meeting people. What are you most most? Most Number one extended about, um, just seeing like the fans, just to see like how you know, passionate they are and you always see like the tweets and all the videos you have about yourself, but just to see them up in close in person and be able to interact with them. Um, I think that's going to be. Like I love meeting the new people that come up to me that recognize me. I think that's awesome. The fact that they know me and they you guys, and they want to say hi. So the fact that they come out to the show and they want to see us, you know, I think that is incredible. So I want to give them as much attention and glorious possible because that's that's what makes us, you know, whatever do what we do because of them. So M yeah, ask that I'm looking forward to just to you know, interact with them. I love it. It's to be a blast. It's so much fun. One last question before I let you go. The pressure is going to be on you every night, obviously to hint at those roses. So you have to know the magic words, right, Can you give it to me? Okay? It's just like a safe no. When you when you're handed out the rose, what do you have to say with the women? Oh my god, would you accept this rose? Yes? Right? Ye? Maybe see it with more enthusiasm when you're on stage, but you got it. Okay, my love? Would you please accept this rooms? Okay? So no, you have to do it now every naight with accent. You have to Okay, Andrew. I cannot wait to kick this tour off with you. It is going to be an absolute blast. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out to me. I'm always here. But oh my god, I can't wait. We'll see you so so soon. Bye bye bye, Andrew. Oh my gosh. That was I feel like I say this age every week that these interviews just keep getting better and better and more exciting. But I have to say that was one of my favorites. It was an absolute treat being able to talk to all seven of our special guests and my soon to be a co host for Bauchel Live on Stage. I cannot wait. Their excitement gets me hyped up and so I'm just so I'm going to say it. I apologize advance. I'm just so ready to do the damn thing. It's going to be an amazing tour. So if you haven't already, there is still time to check out if we are coming to a sitting near you and get your tickets.
