Revisiting WWF Superstars of Wrestling 1991 - Jake Roberts' Snake Bites Macho Man!
"GET RANDY SAVAGE OUTTA' THERE!"
One of the most insane moments to take place in pro-wrestling history not only happened on television, but it was long before the WWF had an 'attitude'!
On this episode of the DEADLOCK Podcast, we take a look back at this episode of WWF Superstars of Wrestling from November 23, 1991, where Jake "The Snake" Roberts unleashes his deadliest attack on "Macho Man" Randy Savage. With Macho Man trapped in the ropes, Jake Roberts brought a King Cobra over to him just so it could take a big bite out of Macho Man's arm! Censored on some stations, uncensored on others, this was one of the craziest things to happen on WWF TV.
We're also on the road to WWF Survivor Series 1991, which took place on the Wednesday following this episode of Superstars of Wrestling. The biggest match on the card is the "Gravest Challenge", which puts current WWF Champion Hulk Hogan against The Undertaker. We hear from both of them, especially The Undertaker, throughout the night.
Speaking of Survivor Series, you can't have a Survivor Series without the traditional Survivor Series matches! Survivor Series! We hear from various teams on this show, like the team of the Legion of Doom & Big Bossman, as well as the team of Ric Flair, The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, The Mountie, and The Warlord!
We do get some wrestling on this show, as well! Many of the best enhancement talent in the world step up to the plate here, to take on the likes of "El Matador" Tito Santana, Skinner and Texas Tornado. Bret Hart also defends the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Big Bully Busick!
All of that, and much more, on this edition of the DEADLOCK Podcast!

Well, that is <v Speaker 1>it for the goddamn updates. Now it's time to talk <v Speaker 1>about WWF superber Stars of Wrestling. <v Speaker 2>All right, let's get into WWF Superstars of Wrestling November <v Speaker 2>twenty third, nineteen ninety one. <v Speaker 1>I want to start this off James with complaint. I need, <v Speaker 1>ever want to know how much of a fucking pain <v Speaker 1>of the ass it was to find the show. It <v Speaker 1>was completely miserable. The fact that there was a time <v Speaker 1>in my life where I could go to one website <v Speaker 1>and watch every ww thing practically. Ever, what a joy's time. <v Speaker 1>And I might not have appreciated as much as I <v Speaker 1>should have, James. But now I live in a world <v Speaker 1>where I have to fucking scour the deepest depths of <v Speaker 1>the Internet to find shows where big moments like what <v Speaker 1>we're about to talk about happen. It is fucking insane. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, well that sucks, dude. <v Speaker 1>I knew you'd be there with me, dude, like I <v Speaker 1>knew you would like be on my side with that. <v Speaker 1>That's that's how it was. <v Speaker 2>Well, I was good. I was gonna make it joke about, <v Speaker 2>you know, not being a big moment history, but. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, come on, don't bury the boys. Much of it <v Speaker 1>worked hard here to get bit. Yeah, that's what we're <v Speaker 1>talking about. Of course, this is the episode of WWF <v Speaker 1>Superstars Wrestling where the Macho Man gets bit by a <v Speaker 1>god damn snake, and we'll talk all about that and <v Speaker 1>how it happens and the before, is and after of it. <v Speaker 1>But before we get into that, let's talk about what <v Speaker 1>was going on the Water Wrestling at the time. With <v Speaker 1>the Wrestling Observer News letterr from The Observer November twenty fifth, <v Speaker 1>nineteen ninety one, the Water Wrestling Federation became the first <v Speaker 1>protion of Tested's wrestlers for anabolic steroids. So just so <v Speaker 1>you know where we are, this is, of course notoriously <v Speaker 1>in the nineties where everyone cleaned up. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Hulk Hogan was not doing steroids. No way, dude. <v Speaker 2>I wouldn't do that, don't you know. My brother Jesus, <v Speaker 2>he would never let me do that. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, I can't wait to talk about that. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god. That is there is Like when I <v Speaker 1>think there's not enough Hogan, James, there's way more Hogan <v Speaker 1>than I ever realized. The other major story of the <v Speaker 1>week involves the NWA World Heavyweight Championship Belt in the <v Speaker 1>effect simile of such that has just been introduced by <v Speaker 1>the WF. The NWA sued the WF Wednesday because it <v Speaker 1>had been televising Flair wearing its belt, saying statements like quote, <v Speaker 1>this is the belt worn by the real world champion unquote. <v Speaker 1>The NWA argued its symbol is being used to benefit <v Speaker 1>the competition. Six more hours with Flair wearing the NWA <v Speaker 1>belt have been shot to promote an upcoming pay per <v Speaker 1>view show. Quote your honor. We're gonna receive a body <v Speaker 1>blow if these tapes of Flair wearing the NBA belt <v Speaker 1>are shown. End quote. The WF agreed to tell its <v Speaker 1>three hundred affiliate stations to cut the belt out of <v Speaker 1>this weekend's television shows, or so the NWA thought. The <v Speaker 1>WF felt it agreed to make its best possible effort <v Speaker 1>to get the affiliates to end out the belt over <v Speaker 1>the past weekend. The wf's best efforts must not have <v Speaker 1>been very effective, since the belt appeared in virtually every <v Speaker 1>market in the country. That's super WWF ah ask for <v Speaker 1>forgiveness instead of for me. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, especially at this time. <v Speaker 1>I mean, that is not a mistake. And I don't <v Speaker 1>know how they didn't get like, you know, kind of <v Speaker 1>super fucked there for really not listening or abiding by <v Speaker 1>the law. But I guess the WBF wasn't always known <v Speaker 1>for abiding by the law, huh. In ww News, since <v Speaker 1>this is being written before the clash, Meltzer says there <v Speaker 1>was serious consideration given last week to putting the ww <v Speaker 1>belt on Rick Steiner at the clash. Apparently, lex Lucer's <v Speaker 1>contract running from March to March specifies a certain number <v Speaker 1>of live dates, and he'd been booked so heavily over <v Speaker 1>the first eight months of the year that at his <v Speaker 1>present pace, whatever the number is, he'd reach it by <v Speaker 1>just about the end of the year. So in order <v Speaker 1>to keep him working the major towns into the new <v Speaker 1>fiscal year of his contract, Luger is being pulled from <v Speaker 1>all smaller shows. Rick Steiner had that like kind of <v Speaker 1>steeze or was it like, we have him here having <v Speaker 1>this match, so we might as well try to flip <v Speaker 1>it too somebody else because Luber's deals fucking gonna fuck <v Speaker 1>us here. <v Speaker 2>Well, I think they were just going through a rough patch. <v Speaker 2>I mean Rick Flair left, you know, they're just trying <v Speaker 2>to figure out the pieces. I think and Rick Steiner <v Speaker 2>was probably just and that was the situation's. <v Speaker 1>Right place, right time. Deil. Yeah, I uh, I mean <v Speaker 1>Starner's were always over, you know, I uh, whether or <v Speaker 1>not I see Rick Steinder, you know, getting the WWE <v Speaker 1>belt as you know, I guess time is different because <v Speaker 1>who knows, maybe then he would have won the world <v Speaker 1>title and became one of the biggest guys ever. But <v Speaker 1>just seems uh crazy, Yeah, absolutely, well, big Bully Busic <v Speaker 1>is history in the WWF as he sent a letter <v Speaker 1>of resignation in and No Show television. He'll be replaced <v Speaker 1>by Hercules at Survivor series. This is unbelievable to me. <v Speaker 1>I'm only now introduced a big Bully Busic and he's <v Speaker 1>immediately taken away from the w WF. <v Speaker 2>He must have been disgusted by this match on TV. <v Speaker 1>He thought he was better than was Brett Hardie. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, he takes her. <v Speaker 1>He's a crazy looking fucking dude, man, Yeah, he really is. <v Speaker 1>He only he so he goes. I think he just <v Speaker 1>goes to the indies and then he retires in ninety five, <v Speaker 1>and then he returned to wrestling in twenty eleven in <v Speaker 1>on some indies. How about that? <v Speaker 2>And he faced the mis and Johnson is dad? <v Speaker 1>John Cen his dad managed, I'm sure. From The Observer <v Speaker 1>December second, nineteen ninety one and WBF news. This is <v Speaker 1>about the Randy Savage angle here that we'll talk about later. <v Speaker 1>The Savage angle where he was bit by the snake, <v Speaker 1>aired both Incensored Fashion in syndication and Uncensored Fashion on <v Speaker 1>USA cable on Sunday Night. Supposedly, there have been a <v Speaker 1>lot of complaints about the uncensored version. I'm shocked as <v Speaker 1>angles go. It was an ultimate hot shot angle, but <v Speaker 1>the camera work was astounding. The kids in Elizabeth made <v Speaker 1>the angle almost as much as all those close ups <v Speaker 1>of that ugly snake's face. I mean, we'll talk about <v Speaker 1>it obviously, but yeah, this is a fucking fantastic piece <v Speaker 1>of business. I there's not a lot of not a <v Speaker 1>ton of you know, old school stuff that I knew <v Speaker 1>of until we started really doing the show. But you know, <v Speaker 1>there's some angles that you know, proceed that they're you know, <v Speaker 1>go beyond the testa time, and this is one of them. <v Speaker 2>I didn't think the snake was ugly. <v Speaker 1>That's what we just taught back to back weeks of <v Speaker 1>snake angles. By the way. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean they were using the fuck out of these. <v Speaker 1>Huh, yeah, dude, And I mean fucking Austin and Triple <v Speaker 1>h and then Savage and uh and Macho man or <v Speaker 1>Savage and Macho Man Savage. That's what he thought. Savage <v Speaker 1>and Jake Roberts here like snake's always had a place. <v Speaker 1>And then I guess, has Randy Orton ever done that? <v Speaker 1>Had somebody get bit with a Snake. <v Speaker 2>Oh, I don't know. I don't know if they've ever <v Speaker 2>did anything Snake Wise or Randy Orton. <v Speaker 1>They just had the weird snake that looked like calm <v Speaker 1>on the WrestleMania ramp that one time. <v Speaker 2>Somebody that don't play about two thousand nine raws about <v Speaker 2>to come in here with some crazy flats. <v Speaker 1>Randy had tedd Byassi's ass eaten by Snake's Weekly. Apparently <v Speaker 1>there was some sort of incident at the MSG show <v Speaker 1>Saturday night at the China Club involving Rick Flair and <v Speaker 1>James favorite Brian Knobbs. So I looked into this, James, <v Speaker 1>just to see what happened here, and I guess the <v Speaker 1>story goes something like this. After a show in Manhattan, <v Speaker 1>Flair went straight to the bar. Flair also brought along <v Speaker 1>a good friend, whom he identified as Robbie, a top <v Speaker 1>executive in a high profile toy manufacturing company. So within <v Speaker 1>no time the group ended up drunk and the Nasty <v Speaker 1>Boys started messing with Robbie, Rick Flair's friend. Flair admitted <v Speaker 1>in his book that while Knobs and SAgs were two <v Speaker 1>of the most fun loving people on the planet, they <v Speaker 1>were also good at getting under other skin, and once <v Speaker 1>they did, they did not let up. Robbie, drunk out <v Speaker 1>of his mind, started cutting a wrestling promo in the bar, <v Speaker 1>and in response to nasty boys, stomped on his glasses <v Speaker 1>and ripped open his suit. This prompted Rick Flair to <v Speaker 1>step in, telling Nobbs to leave his friend alone. Knobbs <v Speaker 1>retorted by hurling the F bomb at Flair, so the <v Speaker 1>Nature Boy slapped him in the face after that. After that, <v Speaker 1>a fight broke out between the two. Flair said that Knobbs, <v Speaker 1>while fighting back, he had him all under control, as <v Speaker 1>Knobbs was a jellyfish, he says. With this going on, SAgs, <v Speaker 1>who had been hanging out with Vince McMann, noticed his <v Speaker 1>partner was in a fight and dove at Flair from <v Speaker 1>ten feet away. In contrast to Knobbs, Flare minute that <v Speaker 1>SAgs was actually a pretty tough guy, as he caught <v Speaker 1>the Nature Boy on the eye with a good shot, <v Speaker 1>this resulting in Flair leaving the fight with Knobs and <v Speaker 1>brawling it out with SAgs. Flair did not expand upon <v Speaker 1>the amount of destruction they brought on the club, but <v Speaker 1>it was bad enough that he was kicked out and <v Speaker 1>the damage was put on his credit card. Flare expressed <v Speaker 1>confusion at the idea that he was thrown out while <v Speaker 1>Kobbs was allowed to remain. Looking back on the whole incident, <v Speaker 1>Flair did throw the first punch, so maybe that's why. <v Speaker 1>I mean, there's tons of stories of the fucking Nasty <v Speaker 1>Boys bizzing people off and then getting punched in the head. <v Speaker 1>That is kind of what they're most known for, other <v Speaker 1>than being friends with Ogan. <v Speaker 2>That's their gimmick, right, Yeah, Nasty gotta live the gimmick <v Speaker 2>Back in ninety one. <v Speaker 1>I'm fucking with my toy friend. He makes the toys. Well, <v Speaker 1>that is it for the observer. Now it's time to <v Speaker 1>talk about we have Superstars of Wrestling November twenty third <v Speaker 1>and nineteen ninety one. <v Speaker 2>All right, let's get into WWF Superstars of Wrestling here. <v Speaker 2>I knew right when this video is started. It had <v Speaker 2>the VHS blue screen with the play at the top left. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I knew this was gonna be fun, dude. <v Speaker 1>I mean, you know, scrambled audio, it's not perfect the <v Speaker 1>whole way through, random commercials on this cut. I mean, <v Speaker 1>whoever whoever ripped this, God bless you. Because the WWE <v Speaker 1>does not want us watching this. <v Speaker 2>We get a called open here to start the show. <v Speaker 2>Rick Flair is here belligerent and naked. <v Speaker 1>Okay, I dude, I was super confused. It wasn't until <v Speaker 1>they showed like the second shot of this because it <v Speaker 1>starts with Taker is on top of Hogan. It's at <v Speaker 1>the funeral parlor of Paul Bear's funeral parlor. Easy for <v Speaker 1>me to say segment, and he's just choking the shit <v Speaker 1>out of Hogan and Flair is blurry like but not entirely, <v Speaker 1>It's just his lower half is blurry. So I said, okay, <v Speaker 1>this is like the VHS rip being funny, and it <v Speaker 1>just looks like Flare's butt ass naked here. But he's <v Speaker 1>blurry because he has the world the NWA one title. <v Speaker 2>He's just got the rogue on. <v Speaker 1>Me and my boy Robbie Leah gets tided early. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, this is what's your average bar back at the <v Speaker 2>Tampa are National Airport Season A Tuesday. <v Speaker 1>It's robe and shit in his ass. <v Speaker 2>Flair is buying tickets on flights he's not getting on <v Speaker 2>so he can go to the bar. Ten am. <v Speaker 1>Wow, that's fucked up, but that's how our roll. Robbie, <v Speaker 1>come on. <v Speaker 2>Well, it cuts to Paul Bearer and Undertaker in the <v Speaker 2>uh Metal Undertaker. <v Speaker 1>Room inside a casket. Shot of Paul baron Undertaker or <v Speaker 1>it's the w F war Zone, choose your superstar screen. <v Speaker 1>That's what they're in front of. <v Speaker 2>Oh that's a good that's a good shout. <v Speaker 1>It looks just like it. And they U said a <v Speaker 1>lot on this one. I'm assuming it was just something <v Speaker 1>at the venue or whatever, but yeah, just full metal <v Speaker 1>wall and Paul Barr says, oh cool, get Joseph, you <v Speaker 1>think you have all the answers, We changed the questions. <v Speaker 1>Oh that's not your fucking line. Roddy Piper's on this show. <v Speaker 1>What's wrong with you? You can't just do that? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, dude, I actually wrote that down too. I can't <v Speaker 2>believe he just did that right there. What the fuck? <v Speaker 2>He's on commentary. <v Speaker 1>So Paul says, your attention was on your casket, but <v Speaker 1>my Undertaker surprised you with my sacred vessel, and down <v Speaker 1>you went. And now it's time for your gravest challenge. <v Speaker 1>That's the whole fucking stip here. Hogan's gravest challenge is <v Speaker 1>the Undertaker, and you're gonna go down again. Oh yes, <v Speaker 1>and Taker says Hogan, the two rotting souls and that <v Speaker 1>cheap gold crucive fix won't be able to save you <v Speaker 1>the next time these look into your eyes. Gong so starting. <v Speaker 1>I mean, we get a lot of Paul Baron Undertaker <v Speaker 1>promos on this show. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I love Undertaker just standing there with his big. <v Speaker 1>Tie and his hat, big ass hat, and it's dad <v Speaker 1>Paul does okay that now because I'm sure somebody knows <v Speaker 1>the answer to this, and I'll take a look him <v Speaker 1>being his dad thing is not like that isn't a <v Speaker 1>thing yet right? <v Speaker 3>Oh? <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I think he just has a weird Paul ver fucking <v Speaker 1>manager and the dad thing comes later. <v Speaker 2>That's my paw. It cuts to Vincing Man with Macha <v Speaker 2>Man and Roddy Piper in front of the crowd, and <v Speaker 2>Macho Man says, mm isn't that his father? <v Speaker 1>It looks like I don't think Paul vera. I'll get <v Speaker 1>it a watch pussy, watch a man? <v Speaker 2>Did you just see pussy? <v Speaker 1>Oh? Keny and I walk east all my lines. I <v Speaker 1>ran out of the lines. I was starting new ones. <v Speaker 1>I want that dog dud. So Vince has Hulkogan facing <v Speaker 1>his gravest challenge this Wednesday night, So Survivorsory is on <v Speaker 1>a Wednesday here, which I think was the tradition. It <v Speaker 1>was like a thing giving eve kind of deal. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, times were a lot different back then, Like family <v Speaker 2>would come together the night before look for something to <v Speaker 2>watch on the television. There you go, you got Survivor series. <v Speaker 1>You know, yeah, you get to watch Skinner and Hercules. <v Speaker 2>They lined up to watch Skinner and Hercules. Back then, <v Speaker 2>a lot of people probably ask for refunds because big <v Speaker 2>Bully Busic wasn't there, which is bullshit. <v Speaker 1>I would have asked for a goddamn refund. I put <v Speaker 1>my eyes on this guy for the first time on <v Speaker 1>this show, James, and he became my favorite wrestler immediately. <v Speaker 1>So uh yeah. He says he's here with Macho Man <v Speaker 1>and Randy Savage and hot Rod Roddy Piper and Macho <v Speaker 1>just keeps going all right, and then Piper's got some <v Speaker 1>kind of fucking thing on his face on his lip. <v Speaker 1>They don't ever explain it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I just assumed it was some drizz ug gimmick. <v Speaker 1>Okay. I definitely was like, oh, he just like got <v Speaker 1>done having a good time or something, just left over <v Speaker 1>residual juice. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so they didn't want to bring it up. <v Speaker 1>They could have just told up to wipe it off <v Speaker 1>on the tape show b s that's steroids, you can <v Speaker 1>I would look at me compared to the watch of it. <v Speaker 1>He's missing hot. <v Speaker 2>Hey, Dick Van Dyke, that's steroids. <v Speaker 1>Hey Elizabeth, you should leave this asshole, don't you? All right, <v Speaker 1>goddamn boys, fuck so, Piper says Undertaker rotting Souls. First <v Speaker 1>of all, the name's Roddy and Randy. That't you next <v Speaker 1>gravest challenge for houlgain He survived them all. He's a survivor, <v Speaker 1>missed our real world champion, rec Flair. Me and my <v Speaker 1>team got the stare and a chair for Flair and <v Speaker 1>Macho Man says it any second, I could be reinstated <v Speaker 1>back in the w w F and be the survivor <v Speaker 1>of all survivors along with Piper. I mean these doing <v Speaker 1>doing uh Machamen and Piper on together on commentary is like, <v Speaker 1>that's a lot. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean also Vince is a lot. I mean <v Speaker 2>he does his whole stick too. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's true. He's I mean, which is that's how <v Speaker 1>you know you're fucking like over the top when the <v Speaker 1>lesser of three evils is Vince as a character. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's a good point. <v Speaker 1>But they're fucking fantastic. Machawain looks great. Machuwain. On the <v Speaker 1>back of his shirt, by the way, it says reinstate <v Speaker 1>Macho Man. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I didn't even see that until later. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's great. <v Speaker 2>So there will be a special interview tonight with Hulk Hogan. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, Brett Hart would take on Big Bully Busic <v Speaker 2>in his last match. It seems did you. <v Speaker 1>Say that shit with some respect? First of all, basically <v Speaker 1>Busic like forgotten Hall of Famer, a guy that really <v Speaker 1>should have probably won the Intercontinental title here tonight, and like, <v Speaker 1>I just I think I think he didn't get his <v Speaker 1>just too. It's unfair he quit. <v Speaker 2>He's the one they quit. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but it's you know, they should have fucking did <v Speaker 1>more James to keep them. <v Speaker 2>Vince mcman and Roddy Piper and Macho Man Randy Savage <v Speaker 2>walked to the ring. Well, I have some news. Big <v Speaker 2>Bully Busic took his ball and he went home. That's right. <v Speaker 2>He didn't have what it takes to be a WWF superstar. <v Speaker 1>Damn, that's fucking that would have Why they didn't do <v Speaker 1>that is because he was such a big star that <v Speaker 1>they wanted people to think he was still there, and <v Speaker 1>that's why he's on this episode. <v Speaker 2>Well, we'll also have a conversation with Miss Elizabeth don't <v Speaker 2>we don't know her? <v Speaker 1>Fucking me who's Yeah, you can have a conversation with <v Speaker 1>my fist. <v Speaker 2>Jake Roberts and Texas Tornado will also be on this show. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. There also will be the most amount of enhancement <v Speaker 1>talent that I've ever seen on one show in my life. <v Speaker 2>There was enhancement talent on this show. <v Speaker 1>Well, they enhanced the talent his brother. <v Speaker 2>I mean, there's some talents that are enhanced on this dude. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, I think you're you're marking of the right <v Speaker 2>tree there, gs ABC ABC steroids dude. <v Speaker 1>Oh, I mean they're just testing for them. And of <v Speaker 1>course you know Macha Man's on suspension, but not for that. <v Speaker 2>So the first match in the evening here Tito Santana <v Speaker 2>versus Bob Schmedley. <v Speaker 1>Bob Shredley. We all love Bob Schmedley. He's one of <v Speaker 1>the top guys in the territory here and much like <v Speaker 1>Big Billy Busic, I imagine he didn't get his just due, <v Speaker 1>which you know is is fucked up. It's fucked up, <v Speaker 1>and I uh, it makes me, it makes me fucking sick. <v Speaker 1>I legit wrote, Oh hell yeah, Bob Schmedley. <v Speaker 2>Well, he has a great performance in this match. <v Speaker 1>He should have won too. I think he got robbed. <v Speaker 2>Is Tito in one of the Survivor series matches. <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna oh, fuck, I think he is. He's on <v Speaker 1>damn one of these themes. I wrote it down somewhere here. <v Speaker 1>I assume he is, but I'll double check, but I <v Speaker 1>think so. <v Speaker 2>Yes, he's on the team with the Anvil Jim Duggan <v Speaker 2>and the Texas Tornado. Mm right, okay, that's right, and <v Speaker 2>I guess Big Bully Music will not be in that match. <v Speaker 1>Fuck he gets replaced by Hercules, replace. <v Speaker 2>Big Bully Busic with Bob Schmedley. <v Speaker 1>Bob Schmedley could have wrestled fucking rings around these guys. <v Speaker 2>Bob comes out, so Tina comes to the ring and <v Speaker 2>uses his entrance gimmick like he's bullfighting with Bob Schmedley. <v Speaker 1>And Bob Smedley falls for it, which I mean just <v Speaker 1>shows what a joke that w w F is. Disrespecting <v Speaker 1>a guy like Bob Schmedley making him do this Google <v Speaker 1>goga haha on live television, millions of people watching, and <v Speaker 1>you disrespect him like this. I think they should throw <v Speaker 1>Tito Santana off the top of the building. <v Speaker 2>And Tito looks good. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I actually really like Tito Santana. I think he's great. <v Speaker 1>The one thing that Bob Schmedley does at the beginning <v Speaker 1>of this match is like one of my favorite heeled <v Speaker 1>tropes is he he Him and Tito Santana lock up briefly, <v Speaker 1>and Mattlord gets the best of them. Me Fireman's carries <v Speaker 1>him and arm drags him hip toss him and Bob <v Speaker 1>Schmedley is pissed, and to show how pisty is, he <v Speaker 1>kicks the bottom rope. I love a heel kicking the <v Speaker 1>bottom rope. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I like that too. It's very good. <v Speaker 1>It's just a little shitty, like a baby thing to <v Speaker 1>do well. <v Speaker 2>Tito hits him with a few arm drags here and <v Speaker 2>then hits a knee lift. Tito then squares up with <v Speaker 2>Bob Schmedley and hits him with the flying fore arm <v Speaker 2>to the back of his head. <v Speaker 1>I mean, he blitzes them with them. They were already <v Speaker 1>putting over the running knee lift too. Like on commentary, <v Speaker 1>you know, vinces like, oh, well, Tito's more aggressive is <v Speaker 1>albumttador than he's ever been, And Viper's always he's got balls, <v Speaker 1>trying to go on and stuff once he got Now <v Speaker 1>he's got a Schmedley that's nothing, which fucking really set <v Speaker 1>me off, fucking wishing the worst for him. Uh and <v Speaker 1>then uh, at some point near the end here, uh, <v Speaker 1>when when he did the knee lift as you were <v Speaker 1>talking about, Tito does like a taunt with his hands <v Speaker 1>and I didn't know what that was, but that's set <v Speaker 1>up for the running knee lift, and Piper says, oh, yeah, <v Speaker 1>see his hands. You know what that means? And Macho <v Speaker 1>says his hands hurt and Viper says, no, that means <v Speaker 1>the contest is over. And then that's when Tito hits <v Speaker 1>the running fucking forearm to the back of Bob Schmedley's <v Speaker 1>head and ends his career sadly. <v Speaker 2>Because he's got the big match with Big Bully Busic ah. <v Speaker 1>Right, who we are all excited to see at the <v Speaker 1>Survivor Series. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, we'll see later tonight in Big Bully Busics match <v Speaker 2>if he has an outing as good as Tito Santana <v Speaker 2>did here. <v Speaker 1>I can tell you that he wishes he did. <v Speaker 2>So we go to the WWF event center. Sean Mooney <v Speaker 2>is here in the event center to talk about Survivor Series. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Sean Mooney says, you know everyone's wondering who's gonna <v Speaker 1>survive this Wednesday on Thanksgiving E. Well, right here in Boston, <v Speaker 1>everyone wants to know who will survived the main event <v Speaker 1>at the Boston Garden in three weeks, says Hack saw <v Speaker 1>Jim Duggan and the mysterious Mister Madness collide with the <v Speaker 1>Undertaker and Jake the Snake Roberts, and I was immediately <v Speaker 1>excited because in my brain, James I was like, okay, <v Speaker 1>mister Madness has to have a hood, like this is <v Speaker 1>a mass guy and what an that's up being is <v Speaker 1>even funnier. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, my thought with it was mister Madness obviously is <v Speaker 2>going to be the Macha man, but when the match <v Speaker 2>actually happens, it's not Macho many that for a minute, <v Speaker 2>right like in the promocho man, but then it's just not. <v Speaker 2>Whenever he wrestles, it's Bob's friendly because you just never <v Speaker 2>see him Yeah, it's. <v Speaker 1>Right, that's fucking that'd be great. Uh what we get <v Speaker 1>here is is even more ridiculous. But first we go <v Speaker 1>to another Paul Barr Undertaker deal here, and Paul Barren <v Speaker 1>Undertaker and Jake Roberts are here, and they're standing in <v Speaker 1>front of like a night sky background deal. We're not <v Speaker 1>in front of the war zone backdrop anymore. <v Speaker 2>This is the McDonald's mac to Night Room. <v Speaker 1>Holy fucking shit. Great shout, that's crazy. What the fuck <v Speaker 1>the Big night Men. <v Speaker 2>Jake Roberts looks great here though. <v Speaker 1>He looks fantastic. He actually looks even better uh in <v Speaker 1>the like in the ring here on this. But yeah, no, <v Speaker 1>he's it looks great. <v Speaker 2>He's actually about to leave WWF. <v Speaker 1>Though where's he He's he going to ww. <v Speaker 2>He does go to w CW just for a little bit. <v Speaker 1>Oh right, okay, wow, fuck everyone's leaving. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean he says that he signed a three <v Speaker 2>million dollars a year contract with w CWU, but Bill <v Speaker 2>Watts came in and changed at two hundred thousand dollars <v Speaker 2>a year. <v Speaker 1>Holy shit. <v Speaker 2>My first thought was, wow, three million sounds crazy for <v Speaker 2>nineteen ninety two WCW Hogan's deal when he came in <v Speaker 2>nineteen ninety four was two million dollars a year. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god. <v Speaker 2>What Yeah, I don't know. Maybe WCW just thought he <v Speaker 2>was cool. <v Speaker 1>They thought he can't pass, and they thought Hogan was <v Speaker 1>kind of a bitch. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I just really like Jake Roberts. <v Speaker 1>Kim Villin Fry really fuck with Jake Roberts heavy. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it was a fair wrestler. <v Speaker 1>Holy shit. I mean, there's a chance dude, like. <v Speaker 2>I love the idea of Kip Allen Fry pitching to <v Speaker 2>like management that like Jake Roberts is pushing shit like <v Speaker 2>Hogan does when he comes in. <v Speaker 1>Well, you know, it's always the heel that really makes <v Speaker 1>somebody over. So if we bring Jakin, he'll get all <v Speaker 1>of our babies unbelievably over. And that's why he's worth more. So. <v Speaker 1>The three of them are here in front of the <v Speaker 1>background here, and Paul bar says, Oh, of course, there's <v Speaker 1>not a better partner in the world I would like <v Speaker 1>to have with my undertaker than Jake This. Nick Roberts, <v Speaker 1>what a trustworthy man. I thought that was funny as shit. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>Jim Doggan, mister madness, mister madness, is that the name <v Speaker 1>you want on your death certificate. Paul Bear is awesome, <v Speaker 1>Like fucking what a great line. H Jake says, you <v Speaker 1>call the shot, mister madness. I'm not a child you <v Speaker 1>play a game with you. Don't step out in front <v Speaker 1>of me if I'm driving a car. Word otherwise, don't <v Speaker 1>step in front of any cars, no matter who is <v Speaker 1>driving them. He says. You know, mister maddness, the same <v Speaker 1>fear that I've seen in Elizabeth's eyes at the reception <v Speaker 1>lives inside your heart. And you should fear a man <v Speaker 1>like me, and you should fear a king Cobra, and <v Speaker 1>no doubt you should fear death itself. And welcome to <v Speaker 1>your nightmare. Fucking awesome. I I why, so does he <v Speaker 1>decides to leave? I'm assuming right? Or or what's the <v Speaker 1>deal here? Like? How does ww F let this fucking <v Speaker 1>guy go? <v Speaker 3>Uh? <v Speaker 2>So he was promised to spot on like the creative team, <v Speaker 2>and he didn't get it, and like they just started <v Speaker 2>having a lot of uh just internal fights, I think, <v Speaker 2>and he just wenture, okay, And they offered this guy <v Speaker 2>three million dollars a year, so he said, I'll take that. <v Speaker 2>I'll take that. <v Speaker 1>That makes you know what? That makes a lot of <v Speaker 1>fucking sense. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I also thought the line was great here where <v Speaker 2>he says that he sees the same fear in Miss <v Speaker 2>Elizabeth's eyes that live in his heart. I thought that <v Speaker 2>was a very good line. <v Speaker 1>Dude, both I mean both Paul and and Jake heard <v Speaker 1>I thought did fantastic. Sure. I mean, this is like <v Speaker 1>a goddamn masterclass of you guys got thirty seconds make <v Speaker 1>something here, and I believe both of them. <v Speaker 2>I love the dichotomy of this also, where like it <v Speaker 2>cuts to uh, mister Madness and Jim Duggan and it's <v Speaker 2>like the complete opposite or whatever we just saw here, <v Speaker 2>I know. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, it's fucking awesome. Yeah, dude, we got a <v Speaker 1>Jim Duggan and mister Madness, and like I said, I <v Speaker 1>was like, okay, macho man like hood or like he's <v Speaker 1>got like a whole different deal here. It's Jim Duggan <v Speaker 1>in a pixelated macho man like not even any attempt <v Speaker 1>to hide that his watch a man with his voice <v Speaker 1>or promo or anything. This is just watcho man blurry <v Speaker 1>Bigfoot style. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I like that. That was funny. <v Speaker 1>So mister Madness is who you huh oh is mister Manness, <v Speaker 1>dickens the distance between two points is a street line, <v Speaker 1>and the hack Soul and the mister Madness we're going <v Speaker 1>right straight through it. And Jim Duggan just starts yelling <v Speaker 1>in coming and coming that strike you two guys. Don't <v Speaker 1>be worried about no rules, don't be worried about no referee, <v Speaker 1>worry about de smand right here and death sped right here. <v Speaker 1>And I'll let you in an our game plan when <v Speaker 1>we ring the bell, ah tac ah tack uh dac <v Speaker 1>nothing fancy. And then mister maddness is something super quiet <v Speaker 1>that I couldn't understand. But he's moving his hands much <v Speaker 1>like the macho man would, not pointing any fingers here, <v Speaker 1>and then he says, oh, this is fucking great. I <v Speaker 1>love this. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's like what evil Cody Rhodes would say. Instead <v Speaker 2>of avoid, avoid, avoid, he would say attack, attack, attack. <v Speaker 2>This man said the Boston Garden, by the way. <v Speaker 1>I know, yeah, that's uh it's TV garden now. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was a big deal for them, those garden shows. <v Speaker 1>Sure, I mean they packed them fucking places too, and <v Speaker 1>it's it's it's weird, how like that part of the <v Speaker 1>business is kind of like not existing in the WF anymore, <v Speaker 1>like the live event kind of sell out the live <v Speaker 1>event to promote the other shit like that. I mean <v Speaker 1>that hasn't happened for a while obviously, but there's no <v Speaker 1>house shows at all now. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, right, the business is just a lot different. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, it's it's kind of crazy when you think <v Speaker 1>about it. Like I feel like in terms of WWF <v Speaker 1>shows or w W shows, like before I, you know, started, <v Speaker 1>we started getting invited to the two K stuff, Like <v Speaker 1>I probably went to more house shows than I went <v Speaker 1>to a raw or SmackDown or anything. <v Speaker 2>So we had Big Bully Busick with Harvey Whippleman and <v Speaker 2>he's taking on Brett Hart inter Continental Championship match. <v Speaker 1>Big Bully Busick. This guy is a beast. I mean, <v Speaker 1>this is by the way, this is like the Butcher, <v Speaker 1>exactly like the Butcher. He looks just like if it's insane. <v Speaker 2>Actually, yeah, his gimmicks like basically the wrestling crooner. <v Speaker 1>Dude, he's I mean, he's got the bowler hat, Harvey <v Speaker 1>Whippleman's Harvey Whippleman is smoking a blunt by the way, <v Speaker 1>Like that is not a cigar, that is a blunt. <v Speaker 1>This man is smoking down the aisle. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean this guy's not You should hear his <v Speaker 2>voice to He's fucking crazy. <v Speaker 1>A great duo here. Brett looks great here by the <v Speaker 1>way as well. Intercondinal title, and Piper is flipping out <v Speaker 1>on commentary about Rick Flair. He says, ah, yeah, I <v Speaker 1>never missed a commitment. How do you know Flower's gotta <v Speaker 1>be there? They're talking about Survivor series and Vin says, well, <v Speaker 1>he's Piper, mister Fliers never missed the commitment either, and <v Speaker 1>Piper says, oh, well, we have quite that commitment coming up, <v Speaker 1>aren't we. And Vin says indeed, And Piper says, you <v Speaker 1>know something about you takes me off and says I'm <v Speaker 1>gonna be there too. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. So in a kind of championship match, here pants <v Speaker 2>to the crowd. Obviously, just show all the Brett fans. <v Speaker 2>It shows Sandman in the crowd with the Brett Heart glasses. <v Speaker 1>I thought that, holy fucking shit, I wrote the same <v Speaker 1>exact thing, dude, that guy was the Sandman. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's pretty cool. He's a big fan. Brett puts <v Speaker 2>the glasses on a kid in the crowd. Always thought <v Speaker 2>that was just a great baby faced deal. <v Speaker 1>Oh man, that was I I love that. And always <v Speaker 1>everyone around him is always fired up. Like on commentary, <v Speaker 1>like Piper was like, oh those are expensive. <v Speaker 2>It goes picture and picture to the Mountie with Jimmy <v Speaker 2>Hart very quickly too, dude. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, they they lock up and it's immediately doing that, <v Speaker 1>and Jimmy Hart says, the Mountain's gonna become the next <v Speaker 1>icy champion, and the Mountie says, enjoy it while you can. <v Speaker 1>Brett the hitman heart. You already felt the first one, <v Speaker 1>and when you feel the second one, I want to <v Speaker 1>be college champion. He's talking about the I guess I <v Speaker 1>think he tased him or something. Here. I feel like <v Speaker 1>we this angle has been going on for a while. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I think that the Mounie beats him on a <v Speaker 2>house show or something. <v Speaker 4>Mmm. <v Speaker 1>I think that's right. Yeah, I think because I think <v Speaker 1>we saw like a clip of that or something. Yeah, Mountie, Uh, <v Speaker 1>he was a you know, upper echelon guy here. I <v Speaker 1>don't know if I realized that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean they needed somebody from Canada that was evil. <v Speaker 1>Evil, breent O. God, damn, you're right. They could have <v Speaker 1>made Bob Schmedley Canadian and evil. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I mean, well, he's got to be the macho man. Later, <v Speaker 2>that's a series. So Busic locks in in a Domino <v Speaker 2>stretch here and uses the ropes uh while distracts the ref. <v Speaker 1>Tap him out. That's over. <v Speaker 2>Brett hits an atomic drop and a back breaker, just <v Speaker 2>classic Brett. I mean, he just pops off all his <v Speaker 2>signature shit and then it hits the Sharp Shooter and wins. <v Speaker 2>I love that. Like Brett's backbreaker is just so I <v Speaker 2>don't know, it just looks like no one does it, <v Speaker 2>and it looks like Brett's, Like Brett's just is one <v Speaker 2>of one. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he does have a very specific style, but he <v Speaker 1>has a very specific style of doing a bunch of <v Speaker 1>different moves too. I mean even I mean, obviously we <v Speaker 1>talk about his punches and all, but there's a lot <v Speaker 1>of stuff that he does and you can see that. <v Speaker 1>It's like you know, if you if you put it <v Speaker 1>like a just a silhouette of somebody doing it, you <v Speaker 1>could point. <v Speaker 2>Out that it's Brett. Yeah, I agree. I mean, like <v Speaker 2>his his elbow off the second's very dope too. And uh, <v Speaker 2>I mean you can't beat the sharp Shooter. <v Speaker 1>Yeah no, and uh yeah he I mean he uh <v Speaker 1>he puts it on Big Bully Busic here, and that's <v Speaker 1>really the end of his run here, which you know, <v Speaker 1>you know, you give a guy the caliber of Big <v Speaker 1>Bully Busic three minutes and he has to just lose <v Speaker 1>immediately to Uh, a sharp shooter like I would quit too. <v Speaker 2>So we go to a pre tape here, Ripo man <v Speaker 2>is outside a garage and UH looks directly at the <v Speaker 2>camera and says, hey, you're about to witness a crime. <v Speaker 1>That is insane. Dude. He's outside somebody's garage and Repaman says, yeah, <v Speaker 1>this is the one, you know, the lady that lives here. <v Speaker 1>She's three days later on our car payment. This is <v Speaker 1>our wrestler, by the way, three full days that ain't know, lady, <v Speaker 1>that's our car thief. Me, I'm the repo man, and <v Speaker 1>you know what that means. What's mine is mine and <v Speaker 1>if you're laid on any payment, what's yours is mine too. <v Speaker 1>So he gets into this woman's car in her garage, <v Speaker 1>pitch black outside nighttime. She peeks around the corner and <v Speaker 1>goes ah, and he starts the car up and pooks <v Speaker 1>his head out the window and says, pay a lady <v Speaker 1>or shut up, and he drives away with the car. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I love that. Uh he just slammed the garage <v Speaker 2>door open too. Just didn't give a fuck. <v Speaker 1>And correct me if I'm wrong. James is repossessing the <v Speaker 1>car the act of fucking driving it away from somebody's house. <v Speaker 1>Is there like a toe process here or or like <v Speaker 1>a boot I don't remember the part where you get <v Speaker 1>in the car and drive away. <v Speaker 2>Well, we have to wait for raw till he gets <v Speaker 2>the truck. <v Speaker 1>You know that's true. And he steals watching his hat <v Speaker 1>and that was the end of the month with the truck. Ye. <v Speaker 1>I mean this was fucking funny as shit. You're about <v Speaker 1>to witness a crime. <v Speaker 2>Huh, Yeah, it's funny as fuck. When she just starts <v Speaker 2>screaming crazy it's nineteen ninety one, I assume she probably <v Speaker 2>thinks a fucking night stalker or something. <v Speaker 1>Well, it's some fucking freak with a little mask on <v Speaker 1>to break out of the garage. Hell, yeh, man Verry, <v Speaker 1>I know that you're very dark, so look, get the <v Speaker 1>fuck out of here. <v Speaker 2>Is that you missed a holy one? Fuck you? <v Speaker 1>No? <v Speaker 2>No, how'd you tell I had the mask on? It <v Speaker 2>was the hair or like thereof Hey, fuck you I'm <v Speaker 2>taking your car. So we have Greg Green versus Texas <v Speaker 2>Tornado carry Von Eric. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, man, Greg Green is just me. <v Speaker 2>He was ready to fight. <v Speaker 1>I mean he's another one an enhancement talent that really <v Speaker 1>enhanced the talent here, Texas Tornado. What a ladies man. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean it's insane to me that he's walking <v Speaker 2>around with a prosthetic foot here. <v Speaker 1>So that happened already, right, That's like we're years after <v Speaker 1>that already. Yeah, Okay, that is insane. I would have <v Speaker 1>no clue. <v Speaker 2>So Greg Green here, I mean he's ready for the action. <v Speaker 1>Man. <v Speaker 2>He takes Texas Tornado to the corner. Texas Tornado then <v Speaker 2>immediately fires back, beats his ass, whips him into the ropes, <v Speaker 2>gut punches him, and then hits him with the discus <v Speaker 2>punch for the three man. <v Speaker 1>He unleashes a flurry of offense like I've never seen before. <v Speaker 1>I mean, Greg Green really had no shot here. I <v Speaker 1>knew he was doomed when Texas Tornado did the Irish <v Speaker 1>whip punch him in the Sternham dude. <v Speaker 2>I mean the discus punch was nuts. I mean he <v Speaker 2>goes to hit the ropes and just walks right into <v Speaker 2>him and all right, so we got to an interview here. <v Speaker 2>Vince McMahon, Machaman and Roddy Piper are here to intervie you, <v Speaker 2>Miss Elizabeth uh and the crowd is chanting Reinstate a lot. <v Speaker 1>They chanted the entirety of that part of this promo <v Speaker 1>like an absurd amount. Yeah, Vince says, we'll have more <v Speaker 1>action here, but now standing by is the first lady <v Speaker 1>the WWF, Miss Elizabeth in the backstage area, and Macha <v Speaker 1>Man gives a big thumbs up because he fucks with <v Speaker 1>Elizabeth heavy. And Vince says, Hey, Elizabeth, do you uh <v Speaker 1>I anything you like to say to President Jack Tounny <v Speaker 1>And she says, yeah, I'd like to say please reinstate, Randy, <v Speaker 1>You're the only person that can do it. And and <v Speaker 1>and Piper says, Liz, we love y'all. I tried. Bacho's tried, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>you're beautiful, but I don't know if you could do it. <v Speaker 1>And Elizabeth says, Roddy, I don't know what the fuck <v Speaker 1>you just said. I just hope Jack Tounny will bow <v Speaker 1>to the will of the people and you will listen <v Speaker 1>to the support of the fans on Reinstate Randy. I mean, like, <v Speaker 1>I love this push. I mean everyone loves Elizabeth, and uh, <v Speaker 1>you know the fact that they're trying one more one <v Speaker 1>more push from someone that everyone loves to try to <v Speaker 1>get Macho Man reinstated is very wholesome. I did enjoy that. <v Speaker 1>And uh, macho Man does, say, President Jack Tunney. If <v Speaker 1>you don't answer in the affirmative after that, then you <v Speaker 1>or know more of a man than Jake the Sneak Roberts. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I love that. I love that Macho Man like <v Speaker 2>is wearing the Reinstate Macho Man's shirt and that Elizabeth's like, <v Speaker 2>can we please just goddamn reinstate this guy? Look, he's <v Speaker 2>home every day, dude. She is so sick of this <v Speaker 2>fucking understand man, Like, this house is fucking nuts, Like, <v Speaker 2>just let him do his thing, man, please. <v Speaker 1>Like he has been talking to the walls, he's showering <v Speaker 1>with his boots on for some reason. Can you just <v Speaker 1>please give him some work? He just needs something to do. <v Speaker 2>So we go to Ben Jordan and he is taking <v Speaker 2>on Skinner. <v Speaker 1>Dude, Ben Jordan, how where do they fucking find these guys? <v Speaker 1>These are the real journeyman of. <v Speaker 2>Pro Yeah, some people were calling these guys the Elite <v Speaker 2>four of the WWL. Well, Skinner offers a test of <v Speaker 2>strength that Ben Jordan takes, uh, and then he just <v Speaker 2>punches him. <v Speaker 1>I mean he punches them right in the face and <v Speaker 1>then laughs at the camera and uh Piper, of course, <v Speaker 1>and the boys are going nuts on commentary. H Piper <v Speaker 1>calls Vince a stir. He says, he's you know, he's <v Speaker 1>got a right to say what he has to say <v Speaker 1>about Jack Toney as in the Macho Man. He's been <v Speaker 1>taking his time and that's right, Piper. How'd you hurt <v Speaker 1>your lip? And Piper's ah ah bicycle and mats what <v Speaker 1>were you doing leaning on the ground fliering them over <v Speaker 1>with the bicycle? <v Speaker 2>Yes, Skinner just whips Jordan and U throws the craziest <v Speaker 2>gut kick I've ever seen here. <v Speaker 1>What the okay? You definitely thought that was gonna be <v Speaker 1>big boot, like to the hen right, Yeah, yeah, it <v Speaker 1>is big boot to the stomach. <v Speaker 2>Yeah yeah, just throws it front of his shoe right <v Speaker 2>at his like mid section. <v Speaker 1>Look like it hurt like a motherfucker man. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Skinner then stun guns this dude his cell before <v Speaker 2>the bump is great here looks like he really got <v Speaker 2>knocked out. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he goes fucking flying. <v Speaker 2>And then Skinner hits the death drop for the three. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Man, hey, you can't do that scorpio death drop? <v Speaker 2>Look good? <v Speaker 1>You know what it did? Look good? You're right Skinner. <v Speaker 1>Let's see what's he doing here? He? Uh, Steve Kern, <v Speaker 1>I've heard that name. I don't know why I've heard <v Speaker 1>that name though. <v Speaker 2>He was Dooint the clown. <v Speaker 1>Ye be right? Is that right? Oh? <v Speaker 2>There was that time where like there was two joint <v Speaker 2>the clowns. <v Speaker 1>Oh, he was other Doint. I think he was also <v Speaker 1>involved in FCW. Maybe that's why I've heard the name, <v Speaker 1>because they were sure. Okay a bunch. He does go <v Speaker 1>to WW two with Bobby Eton. <v Speaker 2>Yeah they're a tag team, right, yeah, yeah. <v Speaker 1>That's right. How about that he's not Skinner anymore? There <v Speaker 1>with a dip. <v Speaker 2>He probably still dips though. So we got the hul <v Speaker 2>cogin interview here Hulk comes out, uh for an interview <v Speaker 2>with Mean Jean. <v Speaker 1>This is so crazy. There's more Hulk Hogan Lord that <v Speaker 1>we find out every time we watch this fucking freak James, <v Speaker 1>Like I uh, I am always surprised he comes out here, <v Speaker 1>big Pop. You know everyone fucking likes Hulk still he <v Speaker 1>has the WWF title on belt. Looks great, by the way, <v Speaker 1>I love this belt. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's funny to me, Like this era of WWF <v Speaker 2>to me is sort of like a blind spot. So <v Speaker 2>like whenever I see Mean Jen and Hogan, I just <v Speaker 2>think of WCW. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah for sure, So Mean Jins is all right, <v Speaker 1>hul Cogan. This Wednesday night in the Motor City, it <v Speaker 1>is a Survivors series. You're gonna face your gravest challenge, <v Speaker 1>get a guy's greatest challenge. He's fucking grave Undertaker bad man. <v Speaker 1>You're gonna be defending the title against the Undertaker. Some <v Speaker 1>are saying that unquestionably, after the Starbars series and the <v Speaker 1>Greatest Challenge, Hulk Comania will be dead. Crowd booze or <v Speaker 1>it sounds like the crowd booz. I don't know if <v Speaker 1>they actually do. <v Speaker 2>In State, I told you morever. <v Speaker 1>So, Hogan says, well, let me tell you something, Mean <v Speaker 1>Gene this Wednesday night, Thanksgiving Eve. Yes, Hulk Hogan faces <v Speaker 1>his greatest challenge in the Undertaker. But the thing you <v Speaker 1>got to realize is mean Gene. When you're a Hulk <v Speaker 1>Camaniac that for eight long years I've heard him say <v Speaker 1>that Hulkamane is dying and that Hulkamania still lives. Mean gene. <v Speaker 1>So right now, mean Gene. Since it is our greatest challenge, <v Speaker 1>I think it's time to explain to all those teeny <v Speaker 1>Hulkamaniacs what the red and yellow stands for. This is <v Speaker 1>he says that, And they have this undershot of him, <v Speaker 1>like the camera the interviewer. He is like on an <v Speaker 1>elevated platform, and the cameras underneath him, and Hogan's bog <v Speaker 1>eyed staring down into it looks fucking insane. Yay. Then <v Speaker 1>I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Brother, <v Speaker 1>I fear no Undertaker, Bretta. I don't know why he <v Speaker 1>said Bronna. <v Speaker 2>He did say Brada. <v Speaker 1>Jimmy Snuka was flowing through his veins in this point, <v Speaker 1>simply because the yellow Hulkamania will light up that valley <v Speaker 1>of death. It stands for the belief in the train <v Speaker 1>and the prayers and the vitamins and the like. To <v Speaker 1>hull Comania will blind the Undertaker, but also the red dude, <v Speaker 1>the red which guaranteed me immortality. Huh, that's right, This <v Speaker 1>is nuts when the big man upstairs spilled his blood <v Speaker 1>on this cross, he swore to me that whole Comania <v Speaker 1>would never die. <v Speaker 2>Wow, Jesus made like a crazy deal here. <v Speaker 1>Hogan was there. <v Speaker 2>By sticks or by stone, brother, And on the. <v Speaker 1>Third day, dude, it was just Jesus that came out <v Speaker 1>of a ky brother. It was me, Dude, what Hogan. <v Speaker 1>Jesus told halt Cogan that he would live forever. <v Speaker 2>Well, hul Cogan first guy to not make a deal <v Speaker 2>with the devil. He made a deal with Jesus, and <v Speaker 2>Jesus said, hell, yeah, let's do it. <v Speaker 1>Jesus said, FUCKINGI, let's go Hupster. Jesus marrying Joseph and <v Speaker 1>the Holkster. So Hogan says that Alchimede will live forever <v Speaker 1>as well as all Cogan Ric Flair. Just like the <v Speaker 1>grew Reaper has his sickle to do his dirty work, brother, <v Speaker 1>the Undertaker has you as his henchman, Rick Flair to <v Speaker 1>do his dirty work. And you, just like the light <v Speaker 1>of hul Camania will blind the Undertaker, it will also <v Speaker 1>blind you. Brother. But the thing means, Gene that makes <v Speaker 1>me realize I will survive is when the Undertaker reached <v Speaker 1>down and he tore the crucifix off. My next, dude, <v Speaker 1>My next dude, My neck, Dude, my neck went limp, brother, <v Speaker 1>what went? You were laying down? He's twelve to six neck. <v Speaker 2>You got me, brother, Stinger, Dude, you. <v Speaker 1>Should wrestle him someday, the Stinger. <v Speaker 2>No, you shouldn't. Brother. He thinks he's better than eat <v Speaker 2>small brother. And there's just no way, dude. <v Speaker 1>But as I smelt the dead, burning flesh in the <v Speaker 1>palm of his hand, Dude, the power of hul Comania <v Speaker 1>he couldn't handle. So the cross the Taker was holding <v Speaker 1>burned his hand, not because it was a cross, but <v Speaker 1>because of the power of hull Comania and Jesus, who <v Speaker 1>is ahl comediac? Who is my brother? He dropped the <v Speaker 1>crucifix and as it landed on me, me Gene, and <v Speaker 1>it wore my heart. It made me realize that I <v Speaker 1>will survive the Survivor series. It's Undertaker. Now that you <v Speaker 1>know what the red and yellow mean, I don't. What <v Speaker 1>are you gonna do, Undertaker when hult Cocain and the <v Speaker 1>Red of Immortality run wild on you? The Red of Immortality. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so Undertaker and Paul Barre are like Satan. But <v Speaker 2>whole Commania has the power of God and Jesus and <v Speaker 2>Undertaker also has the power Rick Flair, I guess, which <v Speaker 2>is very similar to the Grim Reaper. <v Speaker 1>Right, yes, that you got it. That's on hundred percent <v Speaker 1>all all right, and you know what, dude, Jesus said <v Speaker 1>I should go over. <v Speaker 2>So we got into the WWF Survivor's Series report here <v Speaker 2>Mean Jane is here to run down the Survivor series. <v Speaker 1>So mean Gene says, this is the ultimate in team <v Speaker 1>competition and so much more. The Survivor series used to <v Speaker 1>be a big fucking deal here the right. <v Speaker 2>Uh yeah, I mean it was a stop gap show <v Speaker 2>for them, but it was definitely one of their bigger <v Speaker 2>pay per views. A lot of a lot of business <v Speaker 2>happened on the Thanksgiving time, like a lot of a <v Speaker 2>lot of places. We're doing a lot of money. Back then, <v Speaker 2>people were still buying shit and families were getting together <v Speaker 2>and doing stuff, and uh yeah, it's just not you know, <v Speaker 2>it's just not like that anymore. <v Speaker 1>Yeah no, not fuck not at all, dude. Fucking Thanksgiving <v Speaker 1>sales start two weeks before Thanksgiving and then last three <v Speaker 1>weeks after Thanksgiving. <v Speaker 2>Yeah right, it's just like whatever, we'll get it and <v Speaker 2>then we'll move on. <v Speaker 1>Mean Jane says, I strongly suggest you pick up the <v Speaker 1>blower right now and contact your local cable company. Avoid <v Speaker 1>busy operators at the eleventh hour. Get that blower, James <v Speaker 1>start blowing. <v Speaker 2>I hain't no problem. <v Speaker 1>We just heard from all Cogan. It sounds to me <v Speaker 1>like he's friends with Jesus. Jesus wanted to wait to <v Speaker 1>pick up the line. Come now. It sounds like he has. <v Speaker 1>He's ready for his gravest challenge, and that greatest challenge <v Speaker 1>is standing by right now with Paul Bear. They show <v Speaker 1>a taker Hogan graphic looks insane, and then once again <v Speaker 1>we have Paul Bear, an undertaker in front of the <v Speaker 1>war zoned backdrop. Same spot. Oh, Colgan, you know. <v Speaker 2>Jesus undertaker puts his arm on. Paul Bear, looks right <v Speaker 2>at the camera, lifts his head up with the hat <v Speaker 2>mm hmm. M Antonio and. <v Speaker 1>All right, I have a grievances on this Thanksgiving. <v Speaker 2>You need to give me my fucking money. <v Speaker 1>It's me punish your tuxt Morgan, Hey, my son, his money. <v Speaker 4>Tell you. <v Speaker 2>Black Fridays coming. <v Speaker 1>He's just tonatum fucking airtime. <v Speaker 2>And then keep it in Undertaker puts his arm back <v Speaker 2>on Barbert. <v Speaker 3>I got this, Dad, Oh I warn drop so, Paul <v Speaker 3>Bart says, this Wednesday, Huld Coogan, your gravest challenge, the <v Speaker 3>w A Championship on the line against my Undertaker. <v Speaker 1>It won't be long. Think back when you visit in <v Speaker 1>my funeral, Pallor and my Undertaker appeared out of nowhere. <v Speaker 1>This time we're gonna walk away. Oh yes, with your title, <v Speaker 1>and Taker says this time, m. <v Speaker 2>How many more promos do I need to cut in <v Speaker 2>this room? <v Speaker 1>It's so fucking ho here it smells like shit. <v Speaker 2>Paul. There's six soft lights and that's not even on <v Speaker 2>the key lights. <v Speaker 1>Wow, that's horrible. Six song flights. Fuck me, it's bad Jesus, Undertaker. <v Speaker 1>I'm sorry, buddy. We'll wrap this up here soon. <v Speaker 2>Does anyone even care about Survivor series? It's fucking four <v Speaker 2>man eight man tags. <v Speaker 1>You're in the main, Dude, you should probably care a <v Speaker 1>little bit. <v Speaker 2>That match will suck. Just tell him dad, it's not <v Speaker 2>in his sport. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Taker legit says, the time, m is it hand <v Speaker 1>made me think of you immediately. There's no place to run, <v Speaker 1>no place to hide, no heroes with chairs and no crucifixes, <v Speaker 1>just the undertakers burrrry dude. Sid, by the way, is <v Speaker 1>like not mentioned at all on the actual pay per view. <v Speaker 1>I was reading that that, like, I don't know if <v Speaker 1>like someone's going on, he definitely comes back, but they <v Speaker 1>were like Super was like, don't talk about Sid on <v Speaker 1>the pay per view. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so Sid has been removed from the Survivor series <v Speaker 2>tag team of him, Big boss Man and l O <v Speaker 2>D versus Jake Roberts IRS and the Natural Disasters. I <v Speaker 2>believe what it was, by the way, was that Sid <v Speaker 2>had an elbow injury, and I think by this point <v Speaker 2>obviously they were already planning for the WrestleMania deal, and <v Speaker 2>what happens at the end of the show, I think <v Speaker 2>actually changes what happens to that tag team match at <v Speaker 2>the pay per view. Oh okay, because right now I <v Speaker 2>think it's just Big boss Man and l O D <v Speaker 2>versus Jake I RS and Natural Disasters, And I think <v Speaker 2>what happens at the end of the show, which we'll <v Speaker 2>talk about at the end, we'll kind of cycle back <v Speaker 2>to it here, but changes that so it's it's more <v Speaker 2>even and not like a handicap match. <v Speaker 1>Sure, Okay, that makes a lot of sense. <v Speaker 2>So ld is here with Big boss Man in the <v Speaker 2>same room and they're the tag team champions. <v Speaker 1>Boss Man says, Hawk, Animal, what do you say after <v Speaker 1>this Wednesday night, after we get through kicking these pieces <v Speaker 1>of trashes, but we lock them up, we carry them downtown, <v Speaker 1>we throw them in a dirty cell and leave them <v Speaker 1>the rot with rats. <v Speaker 2>H Okay, do we have to arrest him? <v Speaker 1>That's my deal. <v Speaker 2>Your deal kind of sucks. <v Speaker 1>So Animal says that does sound good to him, and <v Speaker 1>he says, Jack Tunny, we want to know are you <v Speaker 1>gonna let Randy Savage be our partner or not? It <v Speaker 1>doesn't matter us. We just want to know. I thought <v Speaker 1>that was very nice. He put that in a way <v Speaker 1>louder tone, but he was. <v Speaker 2>He was like yelling the whole time, like and then <v Speaker 2>he just brings it back around. Just let us know. <v Speaker 1>Please, just kind of trying to figure some stuff out <v Speaker 1>here if you go just kind of game plan, and <v Speaker 1>Hawks says, hey, let's talk about teth today. Let's talk <v Speaker 1>about that nottch on disasters, Jake, this naked irs. Let's <v Speaker 1>talk about not going to teeth all the way down <v Speaker 1>their throats and out there Sphigters, Big Boss Mantassam. <v Speaker 2>On the shoulder. All right, so yeah we'll see all <v Speaker 2>that's Survivors series. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, let's uh get on out of here. <v Speaker 4>Because wow, you're gonna be teeth all right. No, yeah, <v Speaker 4>you're just gonna be shitting right all right. And Dan <v Speaker 4>and then we're gonna have we're gonna put them in prison. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, good, shut up. <v Speaker 1>Prison. <v Speaker 2>So we have Brett Hart, Roddy Piper, British Bulldog and <v Speaker 2>Virgil taking on Rick Flair, Warlord Ted Dibiassi in the Mounty. <v Speaker 1>That's fucking insane. That is an insane group of people. <v Speaker 2>I don't know why, but like I assumed, you know, <v Speaker 2>with the team of like Rick Flair, Warlord DBAs in <v Speaker 2>the Mountie, there's no way they can get all these <v Speaker 2>guys in the same room together. I was wrong. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean not only I was thinking even above that, James, <v Speaker 1>think about all eight of them in the same room <v Speaker 1>together calling a match. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I imagine that like British Bulldog is just it's <v Speaker 2>in a different realm blitzed. I imagine like everybody is <v Speaker 2>sitting in like a circle around the warlord as the <v Speaker 2>Warlord calls this match. <v Speaker 1>With the warlord is calling fucking break. <v Speaker 2>Well, you know, warlords the strongest guy in the rooms. <v Speaker 1>That's fucking true. I get you know what, I'm not <v Speaker 1>gonna argue that. And he looks like sticking. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean like this is the greatest fucking bro <v Speaker 2>meet up of all time. <v Speaker 1>Player's holding big gold by the way, and it's blurt out. <v Speaker 2>This is what happens when the group chat finally gets together. <v Speaker 1>Group chat made it out. The group chat made the <v Speaker 1>group It's hard to believe when you're on top of <v Speaker 1>the world that things can get any better. But guess what, <v Speaker 1>my new executive consultant has told me that from Noella <v Speaker 1>everything will be perfect. Whoa And then fucking mister Perfect <v Speaker 1>comes in and DAPs up Flair. That's how they introduce <v Speaker 1>this this combination here. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, mister Perfect has like the Nike fucking tracksuit on <v Speaker 2>his dop. <v Speaker 1>He looks clean as fuck. Dude. Yeah, I mean, last <v Speaker 1>time we were talking about Flair in Perfect, it was <v Speaker 1>the raw where they did the loser leaves. <v Speaker 2>Yeah that's right. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, so there, you know, that's Uh, it's crazy to <v Speaker 1>see that like this starts here, Like I didn't I <v Speaker 1>didn't really know I guess just sidebar by the way, <v Speaker 1>didn't really know the significance of superstars are wrestling, but <v Speaker 1>a lot happens on this so this must have been <v Speaker 1>a big show. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I imagine so at the time, right. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't know how many other like TV shows <v Speaker 1>they had at the time in w you off, but <v Speaker 1>like this, obviously they're doing a lot here, so I <v Speaker 1>you know that kind of which again goes back to <v Speaker 1>my point, how is this hard to find? So mister <v Speaker 1>Perfect says, just like everything else in my life, I'm <v Speaker 1>here for one reason and just make sure everything remains perfect. <v Speaker 2>Mister Perfect comes in and says, I'm mister Perfect and <v Speaker 2>things will go perfect. And Ted Debiosti says, I like money. <v Speaker 1>I'm the money man. <v Speaker 2>And Warlord shows his big staff with a big W <v Speaker 2>on top of him. Yep, and the MOUNTI is Canadian. <v Speaker 2>So there you go. <v Speaker 1>This is the fucking best group of all time by <v Speaker 1>the favorite I love it. I love it. What more <v Speaker 1>do you need to know? <v Speaker 2>That's me every time I see Ted Devastie. What more <v Speaker 2>you need to know? He's the money man. He likes money. <v Speaker 1>Really like you know. He obviously cut more promos and <v Speaker 1>showed this and that, but like legit was just that <v Speaker 1>I'm the bunny man. <v Speaker 2>I got the money. Yeah, like you can bring out <v Speaker 2>whatever to him and Ted DEBIOSTI will just find some <v Speaker 2>way to say and I like money. Oh hell yeah <v Speaker 2>you do? <v Speaker 1>Hell yeah, fuck yeah we do. <v Speaker 2>This guy likes fucking money man, and he's the money man. <v Speaker 1>And this guy's strongest ship. Look at him. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, this guy laughs a lot. He's funny. I like him. <v Speaker 2>He's eccentric. <v Speaker 1>This guy's perfect. <v Speaker 2>This guy's he literally walks in frames. It says I <v Speaker 2>missed her perfect and these are gonna go perfect. Oh <v Speaker 2>good job. Fuck yeah, Claire pat than that good job. <v Speaker 2>That was good. <v Speaker 1>How could you not be convinced the team with this guy, <v Speaker 1>like he's got it down to a fucking team. <v Speaker 2>They'll go around in a circle and they just say <v Speaker 2>random ship Like Rick Claire is like, whoo, I like, <v Speaker 2>I like having sex. <v Speaker 1>I'm a champion. <v Speaker 2>Perfect, I'm fucking perfect. To be honest, I like the money. Oh. <v Speaker 2>This guy's Canadians Warler's happy, he's got the big staff. <v Speaker 2>The cameras go off. Rick Flair looks other. That was good, guys, <v Speaker 2>That was that was good. <v Speaker 4>We nailed that good job nailed it is as it <v Speaker 4>is a mess of w c W. <v Speaker 2>I gotta tell you this is good though. What we <v Speaker 2>do here is good. That's good. You're you're gonna say <v Speaker 2>I look naked in this, right? <v Speaker 1>I just want to make sure it's gonna be funny though. <v Speaker 2>Like I wanted to mention the sex part because it <v Speaker 2>looks like I'm naked, so lop me in. So the <v Speaker 2>Anvil Jim dug In, Tino Santana and the Texas Tornado <v Speaker 2>will take on Iron Chic, Berserker, Big Bully Busic and Skinner. Sadly, <v Speaker 2>Jim not Hart is out, and so is Big Bully <v Speaker 2>Busic because he quit. <v Speaker 1>God damn it. Yeah, you're right. <v Speaker 2>Fuck yeah, Wow, that's a lot. I mean, like every <v Speaker 2>match here has had like some sort of alteration pretty much. <v Speaker 1>You're right, this is a cursed fucking show. I would <v Speaker 1>be pissed. Wow, I'd be pissed. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, me too. I'd tune in, Ah fuck Big Bully <v Speaker 2>is it here? <v Speaker 1>And I would do what the fuck? <v Speaker 2>I turned to the wall in my house. I punched <v Speaker 2>the shit out the fuck. I look up at my <v Speaker 2>roof and I start scratching off the popcorn roof in <v Speaker 2>my house because the anvil because the ANI was not <v Speaker 2>up the Survivors series. Give me out of this, so <v Speaker 2>hoole start scratching the pump put on the sea. <v Speaker 1>Well, mean Geene says, maybe we'll find out on this <v Speaker 1>Arbrosary showdown who Jim Duggan will pick to replace Jim Knighthart. <v Speaker 1>And there are rumors the float that it may be <v Speaker 1>Sergeant Slaughter. Fuck this, I'm not buying this shit anymore. <v Speaker 2>You're telling me I buy this pay per view. You <v Speaker 2>know I tune in. I just finished put my entire <v Speaker 2>family through college for seven hundred dollars and I tune <v Speaker 2>in to watch the Sergeant's Slaughter be putting this match <v Speaker 2>because the Ample didn't want to show up to work today. <v Speaker 2>You're pissing me off. <v Speaker 1>You should fucking I'm watching Nitro. It's not around, but <v Speaker 1>I'm watching it. <v Speaker 2>So yeah, we have one more match here at the <v Speaker 2>Survivor series. The Rockers and the Bushwhackers one of the <v Speaker 2>greatest teams. Like this is fucking nuts. You have Marty <v Speaker 2>Jannetti team it up with Bushwhacker link. I mean, like <v Speaker 2>this is powerful stuff. <v Speaker 1>I mean they're fucking pencil shaking. <v Speaker 2>It's like that is nuts. I can't even imagine. Listen <v Speaker 2>to this match and tell me how this match went backstage, <v Speaker 2>the Rockers and the Bushwhackers versus the Beverly Brothers and <v Speaker 2>the Nasty. <v Speaker 1>Boys like this, No way someone doesn't come to the <v Speaker 1>ring with a black eye because they were fucking all <v Speaker 1>arguing about how this match should go. Like this is <v Speaker 1>a fucking insanity, dude, this has potential to be the <v Speaker 1>craziest match of all time. I almost want to watch it. <v Speaker 1>That's how fucking like absurd. This match sounds like. <v Speaker 2>Oh, that was Bushwhackers. Luca's pants are down. <v Speaker 1>And so is Brian Knobs, and there's his asshole that'sh. <v Speaker 2>Sewn and Marty did drugs again. If the Rockers, if <v Speaker 2>the Rockers and the Bushwhackers didn't come down to the ring, <v Speaker 2>and Sean and Marty, if they didn't do the fucking <v Speaker 2>walk with the arms, they should off Nasty crunched them <v Speaker 2>in the eyes. Knobs should show his ass I mean <v Speaker 2>the second part is happening either way. That's awesome, man, good, good, <v Speaker 2>fucking I love to know how the hell that came together. <v Speaker 1>Crack smoked out nuts before showing have we what have <v Speaker 1>we the fucking Rockers and the bush Rockers together? Who <v Speaker 1>on the who on. <v Speaker 2>The roster isn't on steroids? <v Speaker 1>All right? <v Speaker 2>Well we got the Rockers and the boy slackers. We <v Speaker 2>got the Beverly Brothers and the Nasty Boys. <v Speaker 1>All right, Well let's go one clean Matchel two. <v Speaker 2>So we get a few commercials here in the copy <v Speaker 2>of the show that we watch. <v Speaker 1>Yes, yes, yes, yes, uh be afraid to be very <v Speaker 1>afraid of Metroid two. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, we get a Metroid two game boy commercial here. <v Speaker 1>That's pretty cool. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I actually just bought Metroid Prime for the GameCube recently. <v Speaker 1>Oh that's right. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I didn't own it, like you know, I didn't own <v Speaker 2>it when I was like a kid, but I remember <v Speaker 2>going to my friend's house to play it. He had <v Speaker 2>like the did you have a game cube? I did. <v Speaker 2>Do you remember the wireless GameCube controller, the silver one? Yes, yes, dude, <v Speaker 2>it was huge. He had that controller and I always <v Speaker 2>thought that was so cool. I was like, oh shit, <v Speaker 2>this doesn't have a chord on it. <v Speaker 1>Dude. I only ever saw that like in store, Like <v Speaker 1>I never. I didn't know one. I just knew it existed. <v Speaker 2>Oh dude. Speaking of controllers, I remember there was this <v Speaker 2>hardware store in town. Allege are really small town, you know, <v Speaker 2>I'm sure, and like there was gaming stuff, absolutely nothing, <v Speaker 2>I mean literally sure. And uh I remember I went <v Speaker 2>to the hardware store and they had like a little <v Speaker 2>section for like printers and stuff like that, you know. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, and uh they had a controller. I don't <v Speaker 2>know if you remember these controllers, but there were these <v Speaker 2>like really off brand controllers that had like the fan <v Speaker 2>that was inside the handling. <v Speaker 1>My god, I do remember those what was that called, dude. <v Speaker 2>I don't remember. I just remember seeing it and like <v Speaker 2>we get we got it back to the crib and <v Speaker 2>like put it in and we're like, wow, this is <v Speaker 2>like technology is really coming a long way. And it's <v Speaker 2>just like a fan inserted into the controller, and like <v Speaker 2>the controller is a complete piece of dog shit, I mean, <v Speaker 2>like fucking shit in terms of like moving the analogs <v Speaker 2>and pressing the buttons. I mean, it might as well <v Speaker 2>have been useless. Uh, But I just remember the fan <v Speaker 2>being like the coolest thing ever. <v Speaker 1>Did the Xbox There was an Xbox one. Do you <v Speaker 1>remember that. <v Speaker 2>No, we didn't get the Xbox when I think the <v Speaker 2>one we got was for like PlayStation one or PlayStation <v Speaker 2>two or something. I was with my buddies. That was <v Speaker 2>their deal, and we just thought that was cool as fuck. <v Speaker 1>So for some reason, the fan controller in my brain, <v Speaker 1>I just remember being green. So maybe that's why I <v Speaker 1>think it's theird. <v Speaker 2>I'm sure there's a ton of like, yeah, I'm sure <v Speaker 2>there's a ton of stuff like that for for Xbox <v Speaker 2>and all that shit. I mean they were pushing third <v Speaker 2>party peripherals like crazy. Game Stop was doing it specifically <v Speaker 2>when we were growing up, because like Microsoft and Sony <v Speaker 2>would take such big cuts out of the uh like <v Speaker 2>official OEM stuff. Yes that they just like had their <v Speaker 2>off brand fucking whatever. And like if you went to <v Speaker 2>game Stop and you're like, let me get this PlayStation <v Speaker 2>two controller, let me get this Xbox controller, they'd be like, well, <v Speaker 2>this one is better and it's a lot cheaper, right <v Speaker 2>because like you know, they're gonna get a larger cut <v Speaker 2>of it, and like they just tell the employees to <v Speaker 2>try to sell that one. Wow, I forget. That was <v Speaker 2>such a different time. Yeah, that was such a time. <v Speaker 1>I know the options were I mean, even if there <v Speaker 1>was shitty option, having options was cool. <v Speaker 2>There was also a commercial for cologne. Preferred Stock is <v Speaker 2>what it was called. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you got that extra smooth cologne. It's the preferred <v Speaker 1>cologne for preferred men. Yeah, what do you what do <v Speaker 1>you give a man that has the look, the touch <v Speaker 1>and the smile. You give him this fucking gray ass cologne. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, if you want to smell like you just played <v Speaker 2>a game of basketball, this. <v Speaker 1>Is for you. You want to smell the inside of <v Speaker 1>a locker, let's raight this on. <v Speaker 2>We also got a commercial for Sega game gear. Hmmm, yes, yeah, <v Speaker 2>so this was kind of like a game Boy. <v Speaker 1>I didn't have one of these, and I don't know <v Speaker 1>if I knew anybody that had one of these. <v Speaker 2>No, I never saw this. I actually didn't see a <v Speaker 2>ton of Sega stuff when I was growing up, and <v Speaker 2>I guess maybe because Sega had already started losing to <v Speaker 2>Nintendo pretty bad by that, oh like when we got, <v Speaker 2>you know, to the age where we were playing stuff. <v Speaker 2>The last deal I really like saw when I was <v Speaker 2>growing up as a kid was Dreamcast. <v Speaker 1>Yes, that's that's what I was gonna say. That was <v Speaker 1>mine too, because I uh but it was again, my <v Speaker 1>whole life was just kind of wrestling, So, like I <v Speaker 1>knew the Dreamcast had before a rumble on it, so <v Speaker 1>that's all I knew. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean my dad got a Dreamcast. That's why <v Speaker 2>I messed around with it before. But yeah, I mean like, yeah, <v Speaker 2>Sega was kind of out of the out of the <v Speaker 2>deal by that point. Most of the stuff that I <v Speaker 2>like played of that was Sega, Like they didn't even <v Speaker 2>say it was from Sega, like it would have the <v Speaker 2>thing when you launched the game, like NFL two K <v Speaker 2>five was by Sega, but like I wouldn't. I don't <v Speaker 2>even think of it like that. <v Speaker 1>You know, Yeah, that doesn't feel like a Sega game, <v Speaker 1>huh dude. <v Speaker 2>But I do love like Sega's whole deal was like <v Speaker 2>fuck you Nintendo, Like that was the whole thing. <v Speaker 1>Super was like yeah wow. They were like, hey man, <v Speaker 1>you're fucking with the real ones over here, dude. <v Speaker 2>I mean like if I was growing up in that time, <v Speaker 2>and like you know, I was young enough to be <v Speaker 2>in that deal, yeah, like I would have fucking fell <v Speaker 2>for the Sega shit like crazy Sega does winn into <v Speaker 2>and then don't you god damn rightly fuck you? <v Speaker 1>Yeah crazy Yeah. <v Speaker 2>And I mean before before uh, Nintendo had Pokemon right <v Speaker 2>like their Killer app was like Tetris on the game <v Speaker 2>yeah right, you know, so like if I was eight, nine, ten, <v Speaker 2>whatever the case is here, eleven or twelve even, right, sure, <v Speaker 2>I'm playing fucking Sonic on the game gear. Shit Tetris, dude. <v Speaker 1>The game that they showed here, uh, I think it's <v Speaker 1>called Glock is like a crazy like air shooter. <v Speaker 2>And I love Tetris, you know, but like no way. <v Speaker 1>And it was uh it was full color too. I <v Speaker 1>don't think the game the game Boy wasn't, right, the <v Speaker 1>game gear. <v Speaker 2>Was, That's right. Yeah, so the deal here was that <v Speaker 2>game Gear had like a full color screen. The game <v Speaker 2>Boy didn't. Obviously, the game Boy color came out, and <v Speaker 2>it did. That's the one that I remember playing a <v Speaker 2>lot as a kid, was the game Boy color. And <v Speaker 2>I'm sure you're probably the same because like, yes, that <v Speaker 2>was kind of like our general ation came out, was mine? Yeah, <v Speaker 2>yeah right, because game Boy came out like late eighties, <v Speaker 2>I think, and uh yeah, obviously Pokemon didn't come out <v Speaker 2>till like what ninety six or ninety eight or something. <v Speaker 2>Pokemon Yellow came out in ninety nine, and like that <v Speaker 2>was like when I got into Pokemon, was like Pokemon <v Speaker 2>Yellow and I got into it, and this is probably <v Speaker 2>the greatest idea they ever had. Was like they didn't <v Speaker 2>even really change the fucking game any but like they <v Speaker 2>gave you the Pikachua that followed behind you, like the <v Speaker 2>fucking show what to sound like, dude, that's all they did. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>that's all they did. It was like the same fucking <v Speaker 2>game except for you get Pikachua follows behind you and <v Speaker 2>it worked right, like yeah, dude, hell yeah. And obviously <v Speaker 2>like the following behind you mechanics changed everything. They all <v Speaker 2>pretty much the entirety through the next couple of generations, <v Speaker 2>but a little dude with you. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I mean. Also I read that the game Gear's batteries <v Speaker 2>just like got eaten up, Like I was reading that <v Speaker 2>like game Boys, yeah, game Boy. Like the big deal <v Speaker 2>between the game Gear and the game Boy was like <v Speaker 2>game Boy had like thirty hours on four double A batteries. <v Speaker 1>Game Gear only had like three to five. <v Speaker 2>It looks like, yeah, that's right, but six double six batteries. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah. And I guess the game Gear also didn't <v Speaker 2>have a ton of games. I mean they had like <v Speaker 2>Sonic I think on it and shit, you know which <v Speaker 2>like in itsef I think Sonic's awesome, so like, I <v Speaker 2>don't know, I think that could carry me for a <v Speaker 2>bit there. But it also costs twice as much as <v Speaker 2>the game Boy costs? <v Speaker 1>Did it? Oh? I didn't know that. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I think the game Boy was like eighty or ninety <v Speaker 2>dollars and I think like the game Gear was like <v Speaker 2>one hundred and fifty on hundred and sixty or something. <v Speaker 2>It was, it was quite a lot more. Yeah, yeah, sure, <v Speaker 2>but yeah complete. It's so funny because only a few <v Speaker 2>years separates these things, right, and uh, it just completely <v Speaker 2>passed us. <v Speaker 1>I think, you know, just like what a short window <v Speaker 1>that was. <v Speaker 2>Yeah right, Sega was I mean, Sega was pushing, they <v Speaker 2>were going for it. Nintendo just they unlocked the Killer <v Speaker 2>apps and it was just over. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I was watching a video the other day of uh, <v Speaker 1>someone explaining like how Nintendo was going to do the <v Speaker 1>disc based like John two, and then they were doing <v Speaker 1>it with Sony and they were like, ah, never mind, <v Speaker 1>and then Sony said, okay, we'll just do it then, <v Speaker 1>and they just did the right. It was supposed to <v Speaker 1>be a Nintendo PlayStation. I didn't realize that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's pretty nuts. <v Speaker 1>That's fucking crazy. Yeah, circle back real. <v Speaker 2>Quick, kind of like Blockbuster and Netflix. <v Speaker 1>Oh fuck, that's right. Wow, I forget that that was <v Speaker 1>a thing. <v Speaker 2>Yeah right, I mean I remember, I don't know, it <v Speaker 2>might have been ten years ago. There was still Blockbuster boxes. <v Speaker 2>There was that. There was like that that weird middle <v Speaker 2>place where like we were between a rental store and streaming. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>like red Box was super popular. <v Speaker 1>Yes, yes, yeah, I do remember that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah yeah, and it was Blockbusters, like we're not missing <v Speaker 2>out on this. <v Speaker 1>It did, it did well. It didn't look like it <v Speaker 1>was like I guess when you're there, right, like something <v Speaker 1>going away doesn't seem likely until like because it just <v Speaker 1>does one. <v Speaker 2>Day, like right, yeah, time just passes, right. <v Speaker 1>I figured that stuff would always just be an add <v Speaker 1>on to Blockbuster and it would just be you know, <v Speaker 1>it'd always be there, and then it wasn't. I also <v Speaker 1>thought it was interesting, by the way, speaking of just <v Speaker 1>cycling back to the game Boy game gear thing, them <v Speaker 1>advertising that pretty much back to back on this episode <v Speaker 1>was kind of interesting. I'm surprised that, like, you know, <v Speaker 1>a competing thing. I don't know how often I saw <v Speaker 1>an Xbox commercial and then the PlayStation commercial right after. <v Speaker 2>M sure, I think maybe like that changed over time, right, yeah, <v Speaker 2>but I guess it was sort of like the wild <v Speaker 2>Wild West of the time. It was just like, who <v Speaker 2>wants to buy this ad slot? Give me some money, <v Speaker 2>like game Boy and game Gear did, and they're like, okay, <v Speaker 2>fuck it whatever. I mean. From what I read too, <v Speaker 2>like game Boy and Nintendo put way more money into <v Speaker 2>marketing than Sega, because Sega, I think has to be <v Speaker 2>some like underground swelled'll like, you know, sure, we're not <v Speaker 2>fucking Nintendo, like we're doing shit over here, like we're <v Speaker 2>trying to push the ship for the mouth. Nintendo's like <v Speaker 2>trying to make family friendly fucking you know what I mean. Like, <v Speaker 2>it's just a completely different deal. It worked, Yeah, right, no, <v Speaker 2>it did work. I still think Sega floundering out for <v Speaker 2>the gaming industry. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, thats yeah. I never like seeing that happen. <v Speaker 2>We got another commercial here. Attorney Jody Schulman says, did <v Speaker 2>you crash your car? Well, you should, and then when <v Speaker 2>you do, you can call me. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, man, you think I heard on the job. You <v Speaker 1>think someone's to blame, even if not, you should blame somebody. <v Speaker 1>How do you call us at the offices of Dan M. Shulman. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, no problem, I'll give you a call. <v Speaker 1>Sure. I'm sure this will fucking not really fuck me <v Speaker 1>over either. I'm sure it'll be time and money. <v Speaker 2>So we come back to WWF here and we have <v Speaker 2>the main event of the evening, which is Bob Werner <v Speaker 2>versus Jake Roberts. <v Speaker 1>Bob Warner one of the Elite Four with the mullet. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, he's like the lance of the Elite Four. <v Speaker 1>He dude, I swear, I don't know why. I could <v Speaker 1>be wrong. Maybe just a guy that like has a <v Speaker 1>similar name or something. But in my brain I was like, dude, <v Speaker 1>I swear I've written the words Bob warrener versus Jake <v Speaker 1>Roberts before, but I just couldn't find anything. If anyone <v Speaker 1>knows anything I'm talking about, why I would know this <v Speaker 1>fucking Bob Warner guy, please let me know. <v Speaker 2>This is one of the legendary matches, the ones they <v Speaker 2>talk about that they have talked about through history. <v Speaker 1>It was in the Jake Roberts DVD. <v Speaker 2>This match Bob Warner versus Jake Roberts is the one <v Speaker 2>they whisper. <v Speaker 1>I mean, Bob Warner with the mullet, Jake Roberts looks <v Speaker 1>fantastic here. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so uh obviously Macho Man and Jake Roberts are <v Speaker 2>are nose to nose, right, and Macho Man wants to <v Speaker 2>hit the ring and attack Jake Roberts, but Roddy Piper's <v Speaker 2>telling him, Hey, man, maybe don't do that right now. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, you should, uh you should. Wait. You know <v Speaker 1>you're doing it right way. It takes more of a <v Speaker 1>man to sit in a chair and wait to get <v Speaker 1>reinstated to do it, and you're doing the right thing. <v Speaker 1>And Matra says, thank you. I think. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. So in the ring, Jake Roberts hits him with <v Speaker 2>the short arm, closed line and then the d DT and. <v Speaker 1>He went, I mean he beats him immediately like snapmre <v Speaker 1>steps on his neck line ddt uh fucking super over. <v Speaker 1>Uh yeah, whoops. Sorry, Bob Warner. You will uh you will. <v Speaker 1>I will never forget you until the next time I <v Speaker 1>forget you. <v Speaker 2>Very similar to to you know, it's funny that he's <v Speaker 2>the Lance of the Elite for very similar. When I <v Speaker 2>get the ice BEAMTM and Lance sees the barrel roll with. <v Speaker 1>One, He's like, what the fuck? <v Speaker 2>Well, yeah, to move a bit, Yeah, so Jake Roberts <v Speaker 2>grabs a mic after the match and looks over at <v Speaker 2>the commentary table and, uh, there's a guy out there <v Speaker 2>with a hat on. <v Speaker 1>Hey you with the orange hat out there. Macho's like <v Speaker 1>looking around. <v Speaker 2>He's talking to me, dude, that was so fucking funny. <v Speaker 2>It's like this long shot behind Macho Man. You see <v Speaker 2>Jake Roberts in the ring. I mean there's like the <v Speaker 2>sea of people. Hey, you with the orange hat out there. <v Speaker 2>Macho Man looks over to us, right at Vincent Roddy. <v Speaker 2>He's talking about me. Macho Man. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, don't you look real sweet? You know something, it <v Speaker 1>was a time in my life I almost looked up <v Speaker 1>to you. You were in occonaal champion, you were WF <v Speaker 1>heavyweight champion one time. <v Speaker 2>It should be nil, should have been the tag team. <v Speaker 1>I almost envied you. But you know what, I'm looking <v Speaker 1>at you. I'm thinking, here's a man that used to <v Speaker 1>be a real man, but obviously he's grown a little soft, <v Speaker 1>hiding him behind the skirt of a woman. Macho's getting tilted. <v Speaker 1>He's like fucking firing up at the table. You see <v Speaker 1>him moving. He says, well, I'll tell you what, Macho man, <v Speaker 1>Why don't you see if you can borrow Piper's skirt? <v Speaker 1>And that's enough. Macho Man stands up. He's not taking <v Speaker 1>his disrespect and Jake, oh, he's standing up. Isn't that something? Boy? <v Speaker 1>You look real good? And pink too. Come on, and <v Speaker 1>Macho's had enough. He leaves commentary and he's walking in <v Speaker 1>the ring, making a bee line to the ring as <v Speaker 1>only the Macho Man can. As he stops and kind <v Speaker 1>of panamimes of the crowd every couple seconds before he <v Speaker 1>gets there, he says, Jake says, there's two things stopping <v Speaker 1>him for coming in here. One is common sense, the <v Speaker 1>other is fear. You are nothing but a gutless, yellow, <v Speaker 1>stinking coward with no sense in the world. Does step <v Speaker 1>your feet right in here? And Jake, I mean he's going, <v Speaker 1>He says, I'm standing right here. I'm waiting on you. <v Speaker 1>Macho gets he's fired up. He heads to the ring, <v Speaker 1>storms there, gets on the apron, takes his hat off, <v Speaker 1>and he goes to get in the ring, but a <v Speaker 1>referee grabs his legs to stop him. He's trying to <v Speaker 1>stop the Macho Man, which leads to Jake hitting him <v Speaker 1>with a gnarly clothesline on the apron. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, what is this? Evil referee? <v Speaker 1>Dude? Yeah, what the fuck? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, what the hell? I mean he really grabbed him, <v Speaker 2>double legged him. Yeah, what the hell? <v Speaker 1>Dude held both of his arms around his legs. He <v Speaker 1>couldn't moved anywhere, and Jake blitzed him with his clothesline. <v Speaker 1>Oh thanks, you're gonna help with that, huh. <v Speaker 2>Ref Yeah, ref didn't want to do anything else. <v Speaker 1>Huh. Oh, I mean, you know, Jake's got the snake. <v Speaker 2>I'm not this ref's trying to fuck on me. Where's <v Speaker 2>that referee? Yeah? So, I mean Piper, I love this. <v Speaker 2>You know, he he gets in the ring, he drops <v Speaker 2>some he's going to grab the bag here and obviously <v Speaker 2>everybody knows what's in the bag, and uh, Piper is <v Speaker 2>just yelling, you know, get out of there, macho. <v Speaker 1>He's flipping out, dude, like you know, which you know <v Speaker 1>in the world wrestling, Like obviously it had to happen whatever, <v Speaker 1>but like you know, hey, well you just go help him. <v Speaker 2>Fuck no, it's in the bag. <v Speaker 1>Well he comes down eventually. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's only to make sure Missile Lizabeth doesn't get <v Speaker 2>bit bad. <v Speaker 1>And you know what that's true. That is true. Yeah, so, uh, <v Speaker 1>I mean Jake, you know, goes outside, He fucks Macho up, <v Speaker 1>throws him into the ring post. He sends him into <v Speaker 1>the ring, and then he ties them up in the <v Speaker 1>ropes Andre style, but not high Andre style, it's low <v Speaker 1>Andre style. He ties them up in the bottom and <v Speaker 1>middle rope. <v Speaker 2>Here, Yeah, which I love. I think that's so cool, <v Speaker 2>Like it's such an underrated, he old thing to do, <v Speaker 2>you know. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think so too. Yeah, it's the fucking hardest <v Speaker 1>shit to do it too, I imagine with the I <v Speaker 1>mean ropes have to be loose as shit for that <v Speaker 1>to work. <v Speaker 2>I imagine it feels like shit. <v Speaker 1>God, especially those ropes. Hell yeah, I mean, so he's <v Speaker 1>tied up, Jake is dropping just an unreal amount of <v Speaker 1>knees on his stomach, which I also thought was cool, <v Speaker 1>not punching him or anything, just dropping knees on him, <v Speaker 1>slaps him a few times because Macho's helpless, and then <v Speaker 1>Jake Roberts goes for the bag and he pours the <v Speaker 1>snake out of the bag into the ring and Vince says, <v Speaker 1>oh shit, the snake is like it stood up looking. <v Speaker 2>Nuts, dude, it did. I love this shot. <v Speaker 1>Scary like super scary. I would not fuck with this <v Speaker 1>at all, dude. <v Speaker 2>It felt like a b horror movie shot. <v Speaker 1>Yes, it did. <v Speaker 2>It was very cool. I liked it a lot. <v Speaker 1>So Jake picks up the snake. He walks it over <v Speaker 1>to the Macho Man. This thing is rabid, by the way. <v Speaker 1>It's twisting in the air, it's biting in the air, <v Speaker 1>it's trying to get Jake. And then Jake puts it <v Speaker 1>on Macho Man's arm and it takes a chomp like. <v Speaker 1>So there's two versions of this, as I mentioned in <v Speaker 1>the Observer, and you can you can find the unsensed <v Speaker 1>one on the wb vaul shout out by the way, <v Speaker 1>uh fucking this snake bites the shit out of Macho <v Speaker 1>Man like sinks its teeth. So it's it's his bicep. <v Speaker 2>I think, yeah, I think that's right, like the top <v Speaker 2>of his bicep. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. On our version, a huge red X shows up <v Speaker 1>with the words censored on it, and they are not <v Speaker 1>showing this shit at all because it is gnarly. On <v Speaker 1>the version that Barnie fullby Canaana Godfather on ut so <v Speaker 1>this thing is biting him. Dude, Rodney Poppers, I'm out <v Speaker 1>of here. He fucking is it wants to come save this. <v Speaker 1>Vince is losing his mind off that sec Bata Bay <v Speaker 1>Dave anamized that Bata Bay Dave adamized. Jake is trying <v Speaker 1>to shake the snake off of Macho Man's arm. Like <v Speaker 1>it's caught so deep on his arm that Jake can't <v Speaker 1>even get it off of them. It won't fucking let go. <v Speaker 1>This is a like for ninety one. WWF. This is <v Speaker 1>pretty heavy. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Jake wearing the glove with smart work. <v Speaker 1>Too, dude. It looked cool as fuck too. <v Speaker 2>It did look very cool. I liked it a lot. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I mean it gets even crazier actually here in just <v Speaker 2>a second. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, so EMT's come down with a stretch. Sure, this <v Speaker 1>thing is still just chomping on Macho Man's arm. I mean, <v Speaker 1>Macho looks like he's about to pass out, and Elizabeth <v Speaker 1>runs down the ringside to help. If this thing already <v Speaker 1>wasn't intense, Elizabeth's like shrieks of horror trying to save <v Speaker 1>the Macho man here like turns this like up twenty times. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, she's screaming bloody murder. The camera's zooming in on <v Speaker 2>his arm. It's bleeding now, great shots, great camera work. <v Speaker 2>This is very good stuff here. <v Speaker 1>This is fantastic. Dude, the snake finally gets off Macho's arm. <v Speaker 1>Jake is you like, you know how we've seen dudes <v Speaker 1>use like chairs or you know whatever to like keep <v Speaker 1>a bunch of people from getting in the ring. Jake <v Speaker 1>is flaunting this snake in everyone's face so they don't <v Speaker 1>run in the ring to fucking save the Macho Man. <v Speaker 1>This is the most evil thing ever. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's good work. <v Speaker 1>It's unreal. Like you said, he's bleeding, he's Macho Man's <v Speaker 1>not trying to leave though. Elizabeth is shreaking on the outside, <v Speaker 1>and as you said, they showed shots of like her, <v Speaker 1>they're showing shots of kids in the crowd, like crying. <v Speaker 1>This is fucking heavy. Dude, Like Macho Man's trying to <v Speaker 1>get up to fight still though he's still he you know, <v Speaker 1>for all we know, this is a poisonous snake that <v Speaker 1>just bit MUCHA mean, he's fucked and he's throwing punches, <v Speaker 1>but he's you know, he's throwing wild shots that are <v Speaker 1>leading him to just fall on his face because he's fucked. <v Speaker 1>This is awesome. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I love that it actually bit him. I'm sure <v Speaker 2>that was like you know, when they're going over this, <v Speaker 2>I'm sure that was a lot. But to make sure <v Speaker 2>this segment worked, I mean, it didn't need to bite him. <v Speaker 2>And I think it turned out great here, and I <v Speaker 2>love that commentary. Like Vince on commentary was was just <v Speaker 2>always saying, like, you know, the poison must be getting <v Speaker 2>to him. He's yelling me wild punches down, and like, yeah, <v Speaker 2>I thought that was uh, I mean, yeah, it just <v Speaker 2>all went super well here. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, Vince's legit, young, get get Randy Savage there. <v Speaker 1>He must be hallucinating right now, please, so I get <v Speaker 1>him out of there for God's sake. And I mean <v Speaker 1>he's everyone's trying to pull out, but Macho keeps pulling <v Speaker 1>himself back in to throw punches at Jake. Jake is <v Speaker 1>stomping on him. This is nuts. The empt's trying to <v Speaker 1>get in the ring. Piper gets in and then decks <v Speaker 1>the MTS. <v Speaker 2>I thought you were the snake. <v Speaker 1>He finally gets Randy out and onto the stretcher. They <v Speaker 1>try to wheel Randy out on the stretcher, but he <v Speaker 1>falls off and he's just I mean, he's he's fucked, <v Speaker 1>He's fucked. He can't stand on his own two feet. <v Speaker 1>The snake is stood up crazy in the middle of <v Speaker 1>the ring. There's a shot of Macho Man on the <v Speaker 1>floor with the snake stood up like looking at him <v Speaker 1>on the floor looks nuts. And then the shot ends <v Speaker 1>with just the most evil shot of all time of <v Speaker 1>Jake kind of just like down on the ground, the <v Speaker 1>snake's looking at him, and he's smiling at this snake. <v Speaker 1>This is fucking nuts. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was a great shot where he's looking at <v Speaker 2>the snake on the left side and the snake's on <v Speaker 2>the right side of the stree. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was a really good shot. I mean, like <v Speaker 2>they were locked in New York for making sure they <v Speaker 2>got everything they needed to get. <v Speaker 1>This was unreal, dude, Like, wow, I don't I I <v Speaker 1>just can't. Again, you know, I understand shit happens at all, <v Speaker 1>but this guy isn't here for much longer, Like what <v Speaker 1>the fuck? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? That was super dope. I guess how many times <v Speaker 2>can you do this though, you know, before it loses it? <v Speaker 2>So yeah, which I'm glad they really didn't do it <v Speaker 2>too often. <v Speaker 1>So but I mean, yeah, this is uh, this is <v Speaker 1>cool as fuck. I love this. I do have a <v Speaker 1>couple of things here talking about before they went and <v Speaker 1>did this in a little after here. So uh so <v Speaker 1>I guess what happened was is that, you know, Jake <v Speaker 1>came up with the idea to have a devenimized cobra <v Speaker 1>bite him, and according to several stories, the Macha Man <v Speaker 1>wasn't feeling too Macho Randy approached Jake backstage and uh, <v Speaker 1>you know, questioning about the snake, and he said about <v Speaker 1>the snake, has it been fixed or not? And Jake says, well, <v Speaker 1>maybe he has and maybe he hasn't. Not what you <v Speaker 1>fucking want to hear when you're about to go out <v Speaker 1>and give fit by a snake. And Macha Man eventually <v Speaker 1>says he has to bite you now. So Jake Roberts <v Speaker 1>pulled up his pant leg and let the cobra bite him. <v Speaker 1>But Macha Man was not convinced still, and he says, no, <v Speaker 1>don't move, don't take no inidote, no pills or nothing, <v Speaker 1>just sit there and want to see the poison go <v Speaker 1>through your body. So after like ten minutes, Macha Man <v Speaker 1>was finally convinced that it would be okay, And uh, <v Speaker 1>I think that did tilt Jake Roberts a bit right. Yeah, sure, <v Speaker 1>I mean I wouldn't fucking do that shit, man, Like, <v Speaker 1>even as safe as it is, having a goddamn snake <v Speaker 1>chomping on your arm, dude, like, fuck that. Fuck that <v Speaker 1>for real, kind of make some money and goddamn, I <v Speaker 1>bet they did, dude, goddamn. And then after a Randy <v Speaker 1>Savage I guess said that his arm blew up like <v Speaker 1>a balloon for days. About five days later he was <v Speaker 1>rushed hospital with a one hundred and four degree fever. <v Speaker 1>They gave him any biotics and luckily the snake was devenomized, <v Speaker 1>but twelve days later it died. He was devenomized. But <v Speaker 1>but maybe I wasn't. God what a I mean, beautiful <v Speaker 1>piece of business here, man. <v Speaker 2>Yeah for sure. Well that's not the end of the <v Speaker 2>show actually, because in ninety one they had this weird <v Speaker 2>deal where they would do the show, it would go <v Speaker 2>to commercial, and then it would come back to the <v Speaker 2>show for like ten more seconds. <v Speaker 1>They had post roll ads. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, this is crazy. We get a cough medicine commercial <v Speaker 2>where a mom is like trying to run down her <v Speaker 2>kid to make sure he takes his damn medicine. <v Speaker 1>She chases him through the whole house, and the whole <v Speaker 1>idea of the commercial is, oh, dimondtap elixir. The kids <v Speaker 1>love this shit. This kid is horrified even when she says, Hey, <v Speaker 1>it's Dimond tap You like this? No, I don't, No <v Speaker 1>the fuck, I don't fuck you. Where's the flintstone vitamins? Motherfucker? <v Speaker 2>We get a commercial for tarn X. If you ship <v Speaker 2>on your plates, you can use this. If you ship <v Speaker 2>on your coins, you can use tarnacks. <v Speaker 1>You wipe your ass with sterling silver plates, you can <v Speaker 1>use tarn X to make them not shitty. <v Speaker 2>If your spoon's gotten shit on it, just dip it <v Speaker 2>into Tarnax. <v Speaker 1>Well, what do you do when your husband calls you <v Speaker 1>to tell you he's bringing guests home to dinner and <v Speaker 1>you haven't cleaned your silver wearing months. <v Speaker 2>I freak the fuck out. <v Speaker 1>I freak the funk out. I divorce him, like the <v Speaker 1>fucking get peopleuper angry and. <v Speaker 2>Passing the girls. <v Speaker 1>I beat the fuck out of them. <v Speaker 2>I start ripping the popcorn oft those. <v Speaker 1>I take a bunk of time at time. <v Speaker 2>I go upstairs and I grab some of the fiberglass <v Speaker 2>and I put it downstairs and I affect all of <v Speaker 2>our lungs. That'll be the last time he does that. <v Speaker 1>And on the plate and I didn't use tarn tarn X. <v Speaker 2>We get a commercial for a cyber Genetics, which is <v Speaker 2>a training plan where you do running, you do set ups, <v Speaker 2>you catch a football and then you do pull ups. <v Speaker 1>And then you climb the stairway to heaven. <v Speaker 2>Yup and then you do somewhere set ups. <v Speaker 1>And you get supplements died in Training manual, the one. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, you take a ton of fucking pills. I mean <v Speaker 2>just a ton of pills. <v Speaker 1>All the donated superstars in an hour are on Cybergenetics. <v Speaker 2>We get a commercial for Milton Bradlee's Talking Battleship. <v Speaker 1>Let's go fucking Battleship. I played this on the plane <v Speaker 1>with deb the other week. If they just had back <v Speaker 1>in the seat, yeah, dude, on the back of the seat, <v Speaker 1>they could do multiplayer. She said I was cheating. Didn't <v Speaker 1>cheat totally. One fucking just destroyed. Really. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I used to think these boards are really cool. <v Speaker 2>I mean most of the time they just fucking didn't work. <v Speaker 1>But it did look as cool as they were on <v Speaker 1>the commercial ever, But it did make the sounds. I <v Speaker 1>did have one of these. <v Speaker 2>We got a commercial for g I Joe Action figures. <v Speaker 1>Geei Joel Cobra won't be that was fined until they <v Speaker 1>rule the world? Can they be stopped? You not? <v Speaker 2>Cookie? We have a commercial for electronic hot shot Basketball. <v Speaker 2>I mean there was just a lot of toy I mean, <v Speaker 2>Milton Bradley was making so much money. <v Speaker 1>The elect electronic hotshot basketball did look sick as fuck. <v Speaker 2>Though it did it looked awesome. I mean, like the <v Speaker 2>little ball you would pull it back and then shoot <v Speaker 2>at the hoop. <v Speaker 1>Hell yeah, I would do that all day. <v Speaker 2>I'd probably just like put in the middle of the <v Speaker 2>living room and drop a fucking elbow on it or <v Speaker 2>something I imagine like a thrown it at the wall <v Speaker 2>or something. So I have another commercial here for the <v Speaker 2>WWF ring, like the actual ring that you put the <v Speaker 2>action figures in. I guess it comes with the American <v Speaker 2>flag and a title belt. Also, the Bushwhackers figures can <v Speaker 2>do the time they. <v Speaker 1>Do with arms. Yeah, dude, Hazard figures were cool, man. <v Speaker 1>I like those. I like those, didn't they weren't included <v Speaker 1>with the ring. By the way, get the fucking figures <v Speaker 1>on your own. <v Speaker 2>There's also a commercial for double Dragon two on game Boy. <v Speaker 2>First commercial I've ever seen for a video game that <v Speaker 2>just shows the game cover and no footage of the <v Speaker 2>game whatsoever. <v Speaker 1>Dude, not a single thing of what like you could <v Speaker 1>do in the game. It just one or two player action. <v Speaker 1>Lets you help Billy and Jimmy Lee destroy the most <v Speaker 1>devious villain ever. <v Speaker 2>Whats Yeah, like that was supposed to like really get <v Speaker 2>me going nuts on this thing, dude. <v Speaker 1>What I was reminded of, by the way, And I <v Speaker 1>might have to play this with you if I can <v Speaker 1>find it. Somebody made a double Dragon two mod or <v Speaker 1>it made Billy and Jimmy Lee, Hult Cogan and the <v Speaker 1>Ultimate Warrior. <v Speaker 2>Oh wow, yeah, yeah, so we should know that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. I didn't even know that was possible, but yeah, <v Speaker 1>somebody just full on did that. <v Speaker 2>It cuts back to Vince here on WWF, and I <v Speaker 2>mean he has ten seconds to wrap this up. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, we got a wide shot of the ring and <v Speaker 1>it's just Vince talking and he said, we're back and <v Speaker 1>we can tell you there's on our chaos. In Randy <v Speaker 1>Savage's dress room, He's apparently receiving the appropriate medical attention <v Speaker 1>his condition somewhat stabilized. God, what a close call and <v Speaker 1>then the show ends. I like that they you know, Vince, <v Speaker 1>they didn't have to. I wonder. I imagine there was <v Speaker 1>a methods of the madness here, no pun intended, but <v Speaker 1>you know, he didn't have to give anybody an update, <v Speaker 1>like you could have said, we don't know what the <v Speaker 1>fuck is going on with Randy Savage.
