Speaker 1: All right, what up? This is is the Sore Losers. This is our podcast right now. It's Rain and Eddie. We got lunch on the phone. We're gonna try and get him to do it too. It's just us too, because we've had a like a little holdout struggle going on with this thing. Um. We we've been really wanting to like look at contracts and stuff like that, and and I think lunch Box is the one that is just like he wants to get it right. And so he left the building and now we're calling him so hopefully he can join this podcast. Answer the phone. Yea, I'm busy, leave me a message, a message the mailboxes school and cannot accept any at this time. Goodbye. But that's him though, Like it is lunch Box. I'm busy. You can't even leave a message. Dude's not busy obviously. All right, it's sorry about the game the podcast in finals time. How much of the game did you watch last night? Last two minutes? I honestly, what I like to do is check out Instagram, the morning Twitter. I see my highlights on you two, but I see it on Sports Center and all that. I basically watched the game, dude. The best thing about me is I have a family. I've got two kids and a wife. Sports is the one thing that like is good family television. Like it's on, the kids watch it. I get to look at it and see, like, you know, I get interested in stuff, but the kids really get to sit down and watch sports and like that's well, yes, summertime, okay, yeah, alright. So anyways, it was Golden State one and then the Calves one four teen. What did you think? Did you think j R. Smith was trying to call it time out or was he he didn't have any idea what the score was. When I said I saw the last two minutes, I saw the last two minutes of overtime, right, Oh, you didn't see the relation. All I saw was that they tried to go overtime five minutes of basically Golden State just slamming it giving it to the Calves. Um, what did you think about Jared Smith? Dude, he had no idea what the score was, even your little five year old? What are you? Kids? Ages three, no, four and ten? They know the score of their games when they're playing. J R. Smith didn't know the score of the game. I will be in his defense though, they don't really have it in the NBA. I don't think they're looking at the same TV screen we are where we have the you know the bottom line, and you always see the time in the score when you're in an arena. Is it that easy to see the score? Yes? He having to look up at the JumboTron. Now that's part of plane. That's part of plane. Always look at the score board like you're supposed to know. How accessible is it though to see the score? I mean I don't I don't want to break it down too much. But is he is it in his eyesight? Or does he have to look I get what you're saying, because sometimes is he looking at an exit sign where they have it over in the corner. I know what you're saying because the clock is usually in that ring you know, that ring scroll or whatever around the arena or on the very top by the TV. You're so right. It's not like a shot clock like in It's not like shot closs right there. That's different. But anyways, who's mad exactly at J R. Smith this morning? Is what I really wanted to note. The gamblers aren't because anybody who bet Cleveland Cleveland covered it was a twelve line, so even in overtime it only went to ten, so Cleveland covered. So betters are all are all fine, Vegas is fine. All of America's find. The only people that are mad this morning is Cleveland because he boned him. They had a chance at getting an upset win in the first game. Other than that, it's it's fun to talk about. It was probably gonna be a blowout. What did you like one about the game? And what did you hate about the game? I loved that Lebron put up fifty one freaking points. Dude, dude, I've played a lot of basketball, mainly I was a scrub on the B team. I never even came close to fifty one points. He put it up in a playoff game. Why are you comparing yourself to Lebron? I don't know. That is amazing that he scored fifty one points. They said last night that I think the record was sixty one or something, which is playoff in the finals game. That is so many points. That screams that Lebron just wants it so bad. And dude, he is the old guy, Like that's crazy that everybody, no one's gonna finish first ever in life, like there's always someone better than you, and Lebron's feeling it right now. Dude, this team is so young that he's playing against He's like, dude, they're gonna kill me. He's fighting for it. He basically was going up against him on his own. But anyways, I'm looking at the line for the next game. It's the exact same line, twelve points. So they think that the kids are gonna get blown out again. All right, what did you hate about the game? I hated? I hated. I hate. Why don't you hate about the game? I hated that Cleveland is a bunch of scrubs. Man, you hate that though, Kyle Corver j R. Smith Lebron is the hell and even Kevin Love. If you look at his establish he made Kevin Love, he made one three. He's a scrub too. This is It's also what I like about it, though, Like everyone going into this game is just like, oh, man, come on, Golden State. They went by they went by five, like a five games done. It's over. Like Golden State's a sweep. They're gonna kill him. This what I saw last night was not sweet material. So then Cleveland can steal a couple of games and make it an interesting series, which is good. This is Lebron against the whole team. Though you're right, well, and I'm glad we started this because honestly, Lunchbox wants to start this podcast in the middle of summer when there's no sports to talk about, when we're talking about Major League Baseball in the middle of the season. Well, probably the first thing we'll probably talk about is like maybe the British opening golf or something something nobody cares about. On our first show when Lunchboxes here, we're gonna be talking about our golf handicaps Ryder Cup because there's nothing to talk about. But if you're gonna bet this series, honestly, you're pretty much screwed because the Warriors were a huge favorite and they're even a bigger favorite now. Like I said, it's twelve. Is the line for the second one? I'm trying to look at the series odds. Yeah, they don't even have that post. Oh here we go series prices. Oh my gosh, you have to put down two thousand dollars to win one hundred. That's the Warriors that it's stupid and you know people make that bet, the rich people doing it's a smart bet. Honestly, it's a smart bet because the Warriors are an absolutely lock to win the NBA Finals. You put down a couple hundred thousand, you win. What's the math on that couple hundred thousand? But we got time ago, two minutes left, So what I don't understand that? How long have you been betting? Like? How long have you been been on games? Ten years? Ten years? And do you not realize that you're never gonna know how a team plays? Like you're never gonna know how a team is gonna play that day? Like do you realize that betting is just a crap shoot? It is a crap shoot. So much you do so much research on like oh, due Duran put this many this many points up, and Lebron did this or whatever, I did this for sure, it's golden state there at home. Blah blah, they got good juju at home. It's stupid if you're never gonna know how a team performs. There are people who bet professionally. I think that I'm very long though. They can do it for years. They do the math. There there is math involved in this stuff. I feel like people that gamble professionally, they retire after three years. They're just like, all right, well that was fun. People that make money, is that your goal in life? I mean now I kind of make money at it. How much money do you make? You're so stupid right now. I to be honest. In the finals, I have sixty dollars invested, me and my buddy that sixty dollars each, coach from the other sports show. This is honest, honest money, Like you're wech put in sixty dollars. So we either need the Calves to win the whole series in seven, or we need the Warriors to win it in six and we'll either win a hundred dollars each or we'll win t or we lose sixty bucks. See, I'm all about those like lottery scratchs fun bet that's a that's a scratch off that it's totally fun money. Who cares if you lose? Like I'm all into like here, here's five bucks. If I win, I win a million like that kind of crap. I have no chance of winning the Tell me what you can put five bucks on and winning the Draft Kings Baby Draft Kings Fan Duel. Like any sport you can pick the one where there's really a million players playing like you're playing against a million people, but you're also playing against computers. Because I've told these guys before and they don't listen to me, Lunchbox and Eddie. When you are doing draft kings, there are people that have mathematical programs where they spend thousands of dollars and they can compute and give themselves a statistical advantage over you because they're able to do all these algorithms, and they're also able to They outlawed scripts, so they were able to do all these scripts where they could end up entering a hundred thousand into the contest. Now they can only enter probably maybe a thousand entries into it, but they have an advantage against you. You're so right. I've seen those interviews where where like the winner who's won like twenty million dollars, the dudes like, there's no chance he knows anything about sports. They they interview these guys and all they say is they're a good player. They were six mans. They sound like computers when they talk because they use computers. You're right, you're right, that makes it no fun. You're right that I've never seen a guy that looks like you were Lunchbox whenever they do the draft Kings winner. Hey, okay, so who do you have? What's your prediction for this series? Well, I'll tell you what I want. I want I know what you want, six calves and seven. I want that to win money. I mean honestly, right now, it's looking like a sweep. See that's what everyone says. There's no I say Cleveland wins three games, it goes it goes all seven before we go. We can only do ten minutes, they said j R. Smith? Yeah, what because he he ruined the game. They had a chance of winning it. What is waking up this morning? He probably doesn't. He probably like, it's not my fault. Whatever. His wakes up to his phone, hundreds of text lessons. I've heard this before. The best athletes have short term memories. His chicks like man because kids trying to make out with his chicken. Twitter. All you gotta do on Twitter is hit j R. Smith is screen name. Dude. People are just annihilating him. How about all the fighting at the end though, like, be real questions? Is everyone fighting sports? There's a lot of at stake. No, it's because it's entertainment. They gotta fight. You think they really hate each other. No, they don't really hate each other because they don't continue the fights. They just like we do. When you and me and lunch get a heated argument, what do we do? We yell a little bit, but we're good, but we never go past that. The NBA players know they can push a little bit, but they can never go past it was so much inconsistent. Coach were over ten minutes. Oh, I'm sorry, I gotta go. All right, should we try Lunchbox again? Yeah, try more time? No, do we have time? You with the number? You're the number that was it? Hey, so it's only two out of three of the store losers. But that's kind of, I guess an idea of what we would do without lunch Box. Honestly, I'll tell you what Lunchbox does that do it. I'll tell you what this is what we did. The Golden State is gonna sweep at all. The Spurs and Golden State are two teams to be reckoned with. But the Spurs didn't make the playoffs. Yeah, but don't tell me. To tell me you too, and then he'd get really mad and then he'd walk out. J R. Smith is a loser, all right, So that's basically what lunch. Tim Duncan would never do something like that. J R. Smith, if you're listening to me right now, you're a loser. You gotta know the score, all right, We gotta go by
