<v Speaker 1>was out in the woods. Well, I mean way out
<v Speaker 1>in the woods. It was a hunting camp, is way
<v Speaker 1>it was.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sitting down here and.
<v Speaker 1>I'm playing with the old dog gets out there. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I just happened to look up and this
<v Speaker 1>is probably it might be like fifty yards away, you.
<v Speaker 2>Know, at the closest.
<v Speaker 1>I guess, down an old road.
<v Speaker 2>I'm looking down.
<v Speaker 1>This old road, you know, I see something down there,
<v Speaker 1>and it looked, you know, like maybe black, maybe.
<v Speaker 2>Had real dark brown.
<v Speaker 1>And the dog immediately he just took off and he
<v Speaker 1>goes there of the house, and I guess when we're
<v Speaker 1>out of the house, he bumped his head or something
<v Speaker 1>made rackets, you know, and they opened up the door.
<v Speaker 2>You know, Are you okay out there?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? Okay, you know, and then whatever set the door,
<v Speaker 1>you don't and he's still standing there and we're looking
<v Speaker 1>at each other.

<v Speaker 3>call me? Yeah, you want to be careful putting that
<v Speaker 3>out there. I've been called some things before.

<v Speaker 3>How did you get the nickname country.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, it was just.
<v Speaker 1>A name I had a long time ago when I
<v Speaker 1>drove trucks, and that was like my handle on the
<v Speaker 1>CB and the bee was started calling me that. Oh okay,
<v Speaker 1>Cage book, does one of their weird things take your
<v Speaker 1>page down. I lose all my pictures and everything I
<v Speaker 1>had on there. And so then I just went in
<v Speaker 1>one day and I changed the name and I said, oh,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna use my nickname.
<v Speaker 3>Then, well, how did you find your way into the
<v Speaker 3>big foot world?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, it's lying things. I've kind of been
<v Speaker 1>into my whole life and been looking around and that
<v Speaker 1>hadn't really been involved with people. And you know, I
<v Speaker 1>hadn't went to seminars or anything, doesn't to anybody speak,
<v Speaker 1>And I started listening to people speaking and enduring places
<v Speaker 1>here tray the pastud make years.
<v Speaker 2>I guess.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I was always too busy.
<v Speaker 1>I was always working and I couldn't go any place.
<v Speaker 3>Really, But are you actively doing like I hate to
<v Speaker 3>use the term research, but out looking for these things?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? I do now sometimes, Like I mean I run
<v Speaker 1>up to up in the National Wards and go up
<v Speaker 1>in the hills of Cassachi. You know all the time,
<v Speaker 1>and usually when I'm up there, I go do what
<v Speaker 1>I got to do. I go up there and go
<v Speaker 1>to the springs and get water is one thing I do.
<v Speaker 1>And I when I'm up there, usually I'll ride around
<v Speaker 1>and look.
<v Speaker 2>And and stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Sometimes I see thinking, sometimes I see tracks. Sometimes I
<v Speaker 1>see absolutely nothing.
<v Speaker 2>I think a lot of.
<v Speaker 1>It depends on the weather too, you know, I've noticed
<v Speaker 1>a lot of things.
<v Speaker 2>The weather controls a lot of it, you know.
<v Speaker 1>And late in the evening, you know, the early part
<v Speaker 1>of the morning I come up. Mean, it's got a
<v Speaker 1>better chance of seeing something then than it was in
<v Speaker 1>the middle of the day. So I try not to
<v Speaker 1>be up there in the dark.
<v Speaker 3>I don't like to drive it dark a dark time anymore.
<v Speaker 3>So I'm going to ask you this question. This is
<v Speaker 3>something that I've heard over the years, and I think
<v Speaker 3>you're in a place to answer it as good as anybody.
<v Speaker 3>What does something that big and covered in hair do
<v Speaker 3>whenever it gets one hundred and ten degrees out in
<v Speaker 3>the swamps, with the ticks and everything else going on.
<v Speaker 3>How do you think they cope with that?
<v Speaker 1>You know, normally we have a lot of water around here,
<v Speaker 1>and there is places where we do have water, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure they get in the water a lot. But
<v Speaker 1>you know, I've thought about that before too, and I
<v Speaker 1>think probably the hair apps keep them cool. You know,
<v Speaker 1>it probably retains moisture and help keep them cool.
<v Speaker 3>You know, you see a lot of other animals, you know,
<v Speaker 3>rolling around in the mud and stuff to kind of
<v Speaker 3>keep things off of them and keep cool. And I
<v Speaker 3>don't know if it's this way there. Do you notice
<v Speaker 3>the activity and everything kind of slowing down whenever it
<v Speaker 3>gets real hot?
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, a lot. I have seen that before. I've
<v Speaker 1>actually found places and some of our you know, some
<v Speaker 1>of our research and some of the places we've gone
<v Speaker 1>before around you know, just down here now, I have
<v Speaker 1>seen places where you know, I see it look like
<v Speaker 1>something hairy wallered in the mud, you know, and rolling around.
<v Speaker 1>I know that was too big to be a hog,
<v Speaker 1>and usually hog is gonna carry everything up. Anyway, it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't all torn up. It's like there's something rolled in
<v Speaker 1>and mashed it down. You know, you go go, Marry.
<v Speaker 3>Do you ever see big hollowed out areas in the
<v Speaker 3>creek banks?
<v Speaker 1>Sometimes I do, And then sometimes I've even felt some
<v Speaker 1>nest before and these nests are huge, right, There's a
<v Speaker 1>picture of me laying in one, and it's a lot
<v Speaker 1>bigger than me laying in that nest. You know, it's
<v Speaker 1>like a like a big bird nest or something.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you could tell it was built by something because
<v Speaker 1>there's pine straw and leaves and stuff in it, and
<v Speaker 1>there is no pine straw leads around, you know. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it looks like it'd be a good bed, you know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I don't think I don't think some person
<v Speaker 1>done it, you know.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>I remember one time the people that I used to
<v Speaker 3>run around with. I wasn't there at the time, but
<v Speaker 3>they talked about finding a very similar structure to that.
<v Speaker 3>It looked like a big old bird nest that was
<v Speaker 3>actually built into it was an old man in house.
<v Speaker 3>I'm not going to say where. Uh, And the floor
<v Speaker 3>was kind of broken out of it, and you know,
<v Speaker 3>it had like the crawl space and everything, so there
<v Speaker 3>was a gap there between the floor and the ground
<v Speaker 3>and this was kind of built in that hole. And
<v Speaker 3>they said, you know, it was a good you know,
<v Speaker 3>eight to ten foot across. So I mean, I don't
<v Speaker 3>know what would do that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And I found, you know, not really good tracks
<v Speaker 1>before if I'm on you know, walling in the mud,
<v Speaker 1>and all I have seen like maybe two foot prints
<v Speaker 1>or maybe one foot frit would be a good one.
<v Speaker 1>And after that I never seen any more tracks. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so you so you can't follow the tracks and see
<v Speaker 1>where they go, you know, Yeah, I mean if you
<v Speaker 1>get consistent tracks. Sometimes it seemed like you could, you
<v Speaker 1>could get a little closer. But you know, whenever I
<v Speaker 1>see a track, it'd be like one footprint in a
<v Speaker 1>ditch or something.
<v Speaker 2>You know, we're random mud hole.
<v Speaker 3>Do you think they know that they're leaving tracks.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they leave tracks, but you know, we've got a
<v Speaker 1>lot of hard ground here, and especially you know it
<v Speaker 1>dry as it is right now. Yeah, it's hard to
<v Speaker 1>leave a track right now. If anything even does leave
<v Speaker 1>a track there, hard ground has a lot to do
<v Speaker 1>with it. They may be an area that they'd come
<v Speaker 1>through that was kind of soft, and then you know,
<v Speaker 1>they step up on the bank or something and they're
<v Speaker 1>out of it and they're backing hard ground again. You
<v Speaker 1>want to see those cracks, Yeah, trucks is something. Sometimes
<v Speaker 1>it all depends. You know, it's hard to see.
<v Speaker 3>Tracks whenever you were young, and that's whenever all this
<v Speaker 3>first started for you. Do you mind telling that story
<v Speaker 3>about when you discovered that Bigfoot was out there running
<v Speaker 3>around when I was a.
<v Speaker 1>Kid, I don't know, I think it was. I probably
<v Speaker 1>wasn't in kindergarten yet. I mean I was like four
<v Speaker 1>or five years old.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>My dad he would work sometimes, he didn't have a
<v Speaker 1>real heavy work schedule or anything at work, and so
<v Speaker 1>he'd go west around and chase women during the day
<v Speaker 1>and everything, you know, and I'd go ride with him,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I'd get there. You know, a lot of
<v Speaker 1>times I stay outside the house. Okay, we couldn't go
<v Speaker 1>in the house, you know, stay outside, yeah, you know,
<v Speaker 1>if they had dogs or something other, I'd stay around
<v Speaker 1>and play with their dogs and whatever, you know. And Well,
<v Speaker 1>went to this place one time. I mean it was
<v Speaker 1>out in the woods. Well I mean way out in

<v Speaker 1>and there was there was some woman living there. You know.
<v Speaker 1>He goes to see and I'm sitting out here and

<v Speaker 1>playing with the dog, you know, and then I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>I just happened to look up and this is probably

<v Speaker 1>then whatever shut the door, you know, and he's still
<v Speaker 1>standing there, and we're looking at each other, and then
<v Speaker 1>finally he leaves, you know. And then wherever we left
<v Speaker 1>the place, I was still looking down the road, you know,
<v Speaker 1>well you see a deer down there, and yeah, you
<v Speaker 1>know whatever, you know, getting the truck and the leave
<v Speaker 1>and I don't even I don't remember when this was,
<v Speaker 1>do I know? It was probably maybe a couple of
<v Speaker 1>years later, was when the that movie came out about
<v Speaker 1>the Boggy Creek creature, Boggie Creek, you know. Yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>then you know, I started looking at things a lot
<v Speaker 1>more then, you know, I was a little older, and
<v Speaker 1>people talking about Bigfoot and all, you know, like, oh, okay,
<v Speaker 1>that's what I saw. You know, I really didn't know
<v Speaker 1>what I seen when I was a kid. I never
<v Speaker 1>heard Bigfoot before or anything. Really, the movie kind of
<v Speaker 1>started all that for me, you know, after that. That's
<v Speaker 1>still kind of close to us, you know, the part
<v Speaker 1>of Arkansas. It was close to Oklahoma and Louisiana, and
<v Speaker 1>all you know is it's still close and and there's
<v Speaker 1>a lot of stories around the area here, the saying
<v Speaker 1>that strange thing that people seeing. I've seen some strange
<v Speaker 1>stuff before, you know, and seen something. But i'd see
<v Speaker 1>stuff crossing the road, you know, and I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what it is. You know, a lot of times it's fast.
<v Speaker 1>You don't know, it goes across so fast. You know,
<v Speaker 1>you think, you know, I'm able to deer or something,
<v Speaker 1>you know, but the.
<v Speaker 2>Color's all wrong.
<v Speaker 3>But now that one you saw on the road like that,
<v Speaker 3>whenever you saw it, you obviously didn't recognize exactly what
<v Speaker 3>it was.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I didn't know what it was. I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>was a little kid, and I didn't really recognize what
<v Speaker 1>it was, you know, I didn't didn't really know anything
<v Speaker 1>about them, you know here in the base, they'm my
<v Speaker 1>big flit or anything. You know. Yeah, a lot of
<v Speaker 1>the old people around here, they used to call them boogers.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah. Same here.
<v Speaker 1>You say, Okay, I saw a booger or whatever you did.
<v Speaker 3>Did you think it was a man or an animal?
<v Speaker 1>I didn't really know. I mean, I couldn't tell if
<v Speaker 1>it was a man. I mean it stood straight up
<v Speaker 1>like a man, you know. And I mean I'm just
<v Speaker 1>a little you know, but still I'm thinking of me.
<v Speaker 2>Aful hop or some baby wearing all that today, you know.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, And you think the dog instantly recognized what it was.
<v Speaker 1>That dog knew what was gone because he I mean
<v Speaker 1>he left there. He running into the house, and he
<v Speaker 1>was hiding into the house and didn't come back out.
<v Speaker 3>Didn't want to have nothing to do with it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you were nothing to do with whatever it was.
<v Speaker 1>And then I guess, maybe, I don't know, maybe a
<v Speaker 1>year or two after that, after the movie came out.
<v Speaker 1>Then I had another little incident that happened. We uh,
<v Speaker 1>we used to ride motorcycles a lot, go up in
<v Speaker 1>the wilderness and ride motorcycles and all them, and you know,
<v Speaker 1>sometimes you're riding down a trail, you know, and you
<v Speaker 1>get the others are way behind or you're way behind
<v Speaker 1>them or something, you know. And my dad he was
<v Speaker 1>gonna play this trick on somebody and he was gonna
<v Speaker 1>come out and splash mudd all over them or something.
<v Speaker 2>You know. Whatever you think, You'm on going.
<v Speaker 1>I got nothing to do, you know, And so I
<v Speaker 1>just keep on going up the trail and I get
<v Speaker 1>up maybe one hundred yards front or so. I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I have sight of him anyway, you know.
<v Speaker 1>I dodnet going over the hill and going down for
<v Speaker 1>a creek, you know, a big big swampy creeps, always
<v Speaker 1>pretty bad in there, lots of mud. And then you know,
<v Speaker 1>I'm looking at and I sing, eat something in the
<v Speaker 1>bushes and moving, you know, And then then I noticed
<v Speaker 1>whatever it was. It looked like it stood up.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, oh, no, you know, what if I
<v Speaker 1>don't see now, you know, I'm thinking right Redditt first,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you know, it's a bear or og or something,
<v Speaker 1>you know, But then acker stood up. I said, oh, well,
<v Speaker 1>and that ain't no hawk, you know, it ain't no bear.
<v Speaker 1>And it was pretty tall, and he just kind of
<v Speaker 1>like looked up and and ran off. I mean, all
<v Speaker 1>this just happened just in a couple of split seconds.
<v Speaker 1>And then I was stopped on my bike there. And
<v Speaker 1>then my dad come up and he said, what are
<v Speaker 1>you doing. You're waiting on nothing. I said, no, I said,
<v Speaker 1>I just seen something. I said, look like Bigfoot or something.
<v Speaker 1>I said, I don't know what it was us. It's
<v Speaker 1>all you know, the Lord you're talking about or some
<v Speaker 1>something other or whatever, you know. And he goes off
<v Speaker 1>on he just takes off, and I'm following.
<v Speaker 2>Him, you know.
<v Speaker 1>And then when he got up to a bat where
<v Speaker 1>I seen it, and then we see his tracks was
<v Speaker 1>in the MUDs, you know, it's I don't know, he's
<v Speaker 1>like he was there getting water or something like he was,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I think that's what he was doing.
<v Speaker 2>He was getting water out of the creek.
<v Speaker 3>Huh. And this was daytime in it, that was right.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, this was right in the middle of the day.
<v Speaker 1>But it wasn't it wasn't cold weather. I mean it
<v Speaker 1>was it was wintertime, but it wasn't cold weather. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you know, so it was cooler weather. But without your recooler,
<v Speaker 1>whether you know you recruider or whether for us you
<v Speaker 1>know it could still you know, it still gets warm though.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, But you guys were riding motorcycles and it's you know, daytime,
<v Speaker 3>so he must he must have not cared too much
<v Speaker 3>that you were there.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And I mean we was pretty far into the
<v Speaker 1>forest too when that happened to So usually not a
<v Speaker 1>lot of activity right the.
<v Speaker 2>Area where.
<v Speaker 3>Now do people around there? Is it common for them
<v Speaker 3>to have boogers come on their property and stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, there's all kind of stories about that, you know,
<v Speaker 1>and people see nezs and that, you know, and I
<v Speaker 1>mean there's a couple of them whenever, you know it
<v Speaker 1>was doing some investigation. Usually I try to go during
<v Speaker 1>the cooler times of the year and U maybe camp
<v Speaker 1>or build a big fire or something set up all night,
<v Speaker 1>you know, and just look around. But there's been a
<v Speaker 1>few incidents that's happened around the area here. And there
<v Speaker 1>was somebody even claim they hit one with their car
<v Speaker 1>not too long ago, and we got some hair and
<v Speaker 1>some blood and all. I don't know whateveruld become of that.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>One of the other guys got it was supposed to
<v Speaker 1>get some DNA off. I don't know whatever happened with that.
<v Speaker 1>But she claims she hit one with her car, but
<v Speaker 1>she may just be telling the story.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know right.
<v Speaker 1>I worked out here, I worked on pok is what
<v Speaker 1>I've done. And we had a guy one night that,
<v Speaker 1>oh he still swears up and down, I hit a
<v Speaker 1>big foot. I had big butt that he he was
<v Speaker 1>supposed to go run across the raids and deliver something
<v Speaker 1>and come right back. And it's like then they started
<v Speaker 1>college for him.
<v Speaker 2>You know, where are you at?
<v Speaker 1>He never ate you or anything, and we can coming
<v Speaker 1>back up the road, you know, like okay, you know,
<v Speaker 1>maybe the radio bat or something, you know, the radio
<v Speaker 1>went out. He come back and the uh, the front
<v Speaker 1>of the truck had looked like he hit a tree,
<v Speaker 1>but there was this handprint in the hood that we've
<v Speaker 1>all been in. Wow, and uh, he swears up and down. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I had a big foot, you know. Was like one
<v Speaker 1>of the guys that's telling him what the boss was
<v Speaker 1>actually telling him, said no, you don't tell him that,
<v Speaker 1>so that we can ride out of the report write
<v Speaker 1>that you're gonna tell him to get a horse. No,
<v Speaker 1>he wasn't no horse. And finally, you know, he ended
<v Speaker 1>up talking some sense into him right up to he
<v Speaker 1>had a horse. And then I know the next day then,
<v Speaker 1>because this would be a night and this is probably
<v Speaker 1>like two or three o'clock in the morning when this happened.
<v Speaker 1>And then by the time the sun come up, there
<v Speaker 1>was game wardens out. They was out there and they
<v Speaker 1>was looking for this horse that has been hit and
<v Speaker 1>one of the game boards. They had to come by
<v Speaker 1>our little office to go into the rangers and and uh,
<v Speaker 1>I know when they come out, and then one of
<v Speaker 1>the game wards you come out. He come out first.
<v Speaker 1>He came out before everybody else you and he just
<v Speaker 1>sitting there and we were talking. He said, I ain't
<v Speaker 1>going in there no more. And I said, I said
<v Speaker 1>where would you at? And he said, well, I was
<v Speaker 1>where y'all told me to go. And he said I
<v Speaker 1>went walking down in this canyon and said it's pretty
<v Speaker 1>thick in there, you know. Said they goes down and
<v Speaker 1>said this proved deep in the canyon, and he said
<v Speaker 1>there was something in there in there ground at me.
<v Speaker 1>And he said I had to leave. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Something security here know what he was. It's scary.
<v Speaker 3>But are there a lot of reports from around the
<v Speaker 3>military base.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, there's there's a few there is a few. There's
<v Speaker 1>a few people that has told their stories before, you know,
<v Speaker 1>and and other people they just don't ever say anything.
<v Speaker 1>And I said, well, you know that was whatever, you know,
<v Speaker 1>it was something else, or you know, they don't want
<v Speaker 1>to believe what they what they seeing, you know, right,
<v Speaker 1>But there's some stories around. There's there's a few out
<v Speaker 1>there that I've heard. And there's a there is a
<v Speaker 1>guy here that he claims it when he was well,
<v Speaker 1>he was at Peace Image where he was at there
<v Speaker 1>was another firing range they have and he claimed that they, uh,
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember.
<v Speaker 2>Something happened anyway, Yeah, I know what it was.
<v Speaker 1>They said there was a big foot that got injured
<v Speaker 1>when during there was they were firing on the ranges
<v Speaker 1>and then they had to go look for it. They
<v Speaker 1>made him go look for it. So it was his company.
<v Speaker 1>Another company was out looking for it, and the ones
<v Speaker 1>in the other company.
<v Speaker 2>He said they actually.
<v Speaker 1>Tracked it down and finished, oh wow, And so he
<v Speaker 1>said I didn't see it, but he said they all
<v Speaker 1>told that. But he said after that said we had
<v Speaker 1>to go to a briefing. After that they told us,
<v Speaker 1>don't say nothing to nobody.
<v Speaker 3>Did he happen? To say what they did with the body.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't hear no more about it. He didn't really know.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure somebody recovered it. I'm sure there was some
<v Speaker 1>wildlife officials or somebody there somewhere.
<v Speaker 2>That got it.
<v Speaker 3>Why do you think they keep it a secret?
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I think I think really, I think the government's known
<v Speaker 1>about him for a long time and they don't want
<v Speaker 1>us to know about it because they're trying to learn
<v Speaker 1>some of their secrets. You know. It was for nothing,
<v Speaker 1>but some secrets that they can develop into something to
<v Speaker 1>use for shoulders, you know, right.
<v Speaker 3>That was kind of one of the first things that
<v Speaker 3>I thought of whenever I got involved in all this
<v Speaker 3>and had a sighting. I was like, well, shoot, if
<v Speaker 3>I can have a sighting, there ain't no way that
<v Speaker 3>the government and don't know these things.
<v Speaker 1>Are out there, you know, in Oklahoma there or whenever
<v Speaker 1>I go to Oklahoma, that's I'm gonna go up and
<v Speaker 1>ride THEK Trail, you know. We'll ride the K Trail
<v Speaker 1>for a ways and camp and listen all night, you
<v Speaker 1>know whatever, mess around the next day and get up
<v Speaker 1>and go some more, you know. And there's an area
<v Speaker 1>there they call Area X, which is see what do
<v Speaker 1>they call that highway four twenty five or whatever, you know,
<v Speaker 1>and then part of it's still national forest and part
<v Speaker 1>of it is like a wildlife management area in there,
<v Speaker 1>and yeah, so it's all pretty you know, pretty much
<v Speaker 1>public land, but there's not a lot of people goes
<v Speaker 1>in there, and they call that area X, you know,
<v Speaker 1>and we sit there, we're sitting around the fire, and

<v Speaker 1>it's a big foot, you know, and they keep telling

<v Speaker 1>he's gotta, he's gotta. You don't have a like a
<v Speaker 1>human face or like a monkey or anything. His face
<v Speaker 1>looked more like a dog. You know, you had a
<v Speaker 1>longer nose and all you know, and that you know that,
<v Speaker 1>you know, so you know, they start kind of describe
<v Speaker 1>things like that. You know that automatically I start thinking
<v Speaker 1>dog man. You know, they'll start telling them about some differences.
<v Speaker 1>But there's an old newspaper article that was done in
<v Speaker 1>the local newspaper here and I don't remember I think
<v Speaker 1>it was in the early eighties when it was, but
<v Speaker 1>there was somebody I've been down Highway thirty six or
<v Speaker 1>sixty three or whatever it was one of the highways anyway,
<v Speaker 1>and they hit something and killed it. Well they couldn't
<v Speaker 1>figure out what it was, and they even called the
<v Speaker 1>police and said, look, I tore up my car and
<v Speaker 1>I just hit something. I don't know what it is,
<v Speaker 1>and the police come out, you know, and don' the report,
<v Speaker 1>fix your car and get it towed, and they can't
<v Speaker 1>figure out what it was, and there's some pictures of it,
<v Speaker 1>and so the police actually sent some of the DNA
<v Speaker 1>off to LSU Medical Center and then you know, they
<v Speaker 1>didn't even know what it was right act they did DNA.
<v Speaker 1>So that was the dog man of derittor, I think,
<v Speaker 1>is what it is in the article.

<v Speaker 3>where people will actually get their hands on some stuff
<v Speaker 3>that they can send off for testing and then you
<v Speaker 3>just never really hear what comes of it, just kind

<v Speaker 1>sometime in camping on and they clean one veterinary and
<v Speaker 1>they was using it, would actually look at it and
<v Speaker 1>test it for them. Claim that she moved out of

<v Speaker 1>to where she was still you know, practice of medicine
<v Speaker 1>at and talked to her and she said, I can't
<v Speaker 1>do that no more. I'm not allowed to do that

<v Speaker 1>So shut her down, Yeah, got shut down. She moved
<v Speaker 1>from Uh, she went from Louisiana, like northern part of
<v Speaker 1>Louisiana and she went over into county in Arkansas somewhere.

<v Speaker 3>or attacks of any kind?
<v Speaker 1>I don't never hear about any attacks. You know, people

<v Speaker 1>getting some porchs from a lady that she's seen a monkey.

<v Speaker 1>we spent the night on that arn bridge, and you know,
<v Speaker 1>we're we're kind of staying awake and watching and looking
<v Speaker 1>looking through night vision and all which the night vision
<v Speaker 1>we had back came one't as good as.

<v Speaker 1>But uh, you know, you think you see something you
<v Speaker 1>don't really know and whatever that may be something you know,
<v Speaker 1>we don't quite know, you know. And some start throwing
<v Speaker 1>rocks ats and we know to throwing rocks, were hearing rocks.
<v Speaker 1>It was it was hitting the arn of the bridge,

<v Speaker 1>And then the next day then we got a report,
<v Speaker 1>we heard them the radio said that they caught it
<v Speaker 1>a scape gorilla. And now always thought that was kind
<v Speaker 1>of faine because they was out looking and they actually
<v Speaker 1>caught a gorilla. You know, here we had the experience
<v Speaker 1>we had something with stowing the rocks at us and
<v Speaker 1>there was so far apart though that I don't think
<v Speaker 1>it was the same animal.
<v Speaker 3>But they really had an actual gorilla on the loose.
<v Speaker 2>And it was actually a gorilla. Yep. There was some
<v Speaker 2>zoo I think in Florida.
<v Speaker 1>They was afraid that the hurricanes was gonna kill him
<v Speaker 1>or something, and somebody had opened the mupp and let
<v Speaker 1>all the animals out.
<v Speaker 3>Well, now that you said that, that kind of rings
<v Speaker 3>a bell. Yeah, it seems like I kind of remember
<v Speaker 3>hearing about that.
<v Speaker 1>There was a local newspaper that actually done a story
<v Speaker 1>on that too, and they show a picture of the
<v Speaker 1>gorilla that they captured. But I mean the gorilla was
<v Speaker 1>all gentle. I mean, he wasn't even violent or anything
<v Speaker 1>and didn't do anything. He's always been raised in captivity.
<v Speaker 1>That he was pretty gentle. He wasn't really wild or anything.
<v Speaker 3>But I mean he can be gentle. If I run
<v Speaker 3>into a gorilla out in the woods, yeah, it's gonna
<v Speaker 3>be a man eater in my eyes.

<v Speaker 1>And and here, I mean, you know there's people before
<v Speaker 1>they'd say, oh, I've seen a monkey, you know, I
<v Speaker 1>see a gorilla or something in the woods, you know,

<v Speaker 1>monkeys and gorillas, we really don't have any.

<v Speaker 1>You know, what are they living off of? Yeah, you know,
<v Speaker 1>something's gonna have to They're gonna have to be a
<v Speaker 1>meat eater. You know, they're going to eat squirrels and
<v Speaker 1>rabbits and birds and.

<v Speaker 1>You know, they're going not they're going to have to
<v Speaker 1>eat wild game. And we don't have that many edible
<v Speaker 1>plan We don't have coconut trees and banana trees and stuff, you.

<v Speaker 3>would take them a while to figure out how to hunt,
<v Speaker 3>you know, to catch the meat. I know that. You know,
<v Speaker 3>chimps hunting groups, they will go after animals sometimes, but
<v Speaker 3>you know, they use teamwork to catch them. I don't
<v Speaker 3>think gorillas really go after meat all that much. They
<v Speaker 3>would probably eat it if they had it, but usually
<v Speaker 3>they're just sitting around non on edible plants. What do

<v Speaker 1>I know, they they probably do eat meat. I mean
<v Speaker 1>they're doing places before in the woods when I'm hunting

<v Speaker 1>looks like there's some kind of it looks like a
<v Speaker 1>dining room you can say, you know, where something's coming
<v Speaker 1>brought stuff to eat, you know, and there's more than
<v Speaker 1>one deer even and there'd be bones around. You know.

<v Speaker 1>It's possible. If you say, you shoot a deer and
<v Speaker 1>he's wounded and he's laying their diet, and they come
<v Speaker 1>across it, they would probably get it.

<v Speaker 1>Always lose deer all the time when they shoot deer,

<v Speaker 3>extremely opportunistic if they if they've got a chance, because

<v Speaker 3>killing deer and eating roadkill and even doing a little

<v Speaker 1>at Walmart and work at night, and then she'd have
<v Speaker 1>to go take out all the trash claim she's seen

<v Speaker 3>Duster behind Walmart.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, behind Walmart. She's after that said, I don't take
<v Speaker 1>out the trash no more. She might have seen some
<v Speaker 1>or maybe that's your excuse me, she ain't got to work.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. But you know the Walmart story. All
<v Speaker 1>are ratt it is all woods all are round it,
<v Speaker 1>and there's a big wildlife management area there and yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's all big woods a roub it. So it ain't
<v Speaker 1>like I really doubt the story. That could be true. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>in some way or another, it could be true.

<v Speaker 1>part of our conversation we telling about someone with long hair.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's how they stay cooler. Their hair probably
<v Speaker 1>retains moisture and they go take a swim or whatever,
<v Speaker 1>and then they're good for the day then, you know, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and their hair just retains a moisture.

<v Speaker 1>as there's something watching you or something, but I never
<v Speaker 1>I've never seen anything. So they were saying, I'd say,

<v Speaker 3>these days in relation to bigfoot stuff. But I mean,
<v Speaker 3>whenever I was out there, I never saw any orbs
<v Speaker 3>or anything. Not saying that they don't exist. I know
<v Speaker 3>people that have seen them that I completely trust. It's
<v Speaker 3>just not something that I've experienced. And I always had

<v Speaker 1>head and he's seeing stars in all or dot either. Yeah.

<v Speaker 1>they like the one would the lady claims she hit one.

<v Speaker 1>in the area where she was at. You know, there's
<v Speaker 1>a lot of places a lot of times like that. Well,
<v Speaker 1>you know, we're gonna go look the.

<v Speaker 1>Maybe you know nothing else, maybe nothing but drive around
<v Speaker 1>for a while and in the roads and look, you know. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but you know, if I just go to my normal
<v Speaker 1>places where I go, I'm mainly just watching. I'm watching
<v Speaker 1>for a movement, if I can see something. And then
<v Speaker 1>I kind of got like one O on the ditch,
<v Speaker 1>you know, where I know, where there's some soft ground,
<v Speaker 1>maybe I'll see a track. You know, I do better

<v Speaker 3>That lady that said she hit one, what was her story?
<v Speaker 1>Her story was, she was coming in from work late
<v Speaker 1>one night. She said something jumped out in front of
<v Speaker 1>me and I hit it, you know, and she said,
<v Speaker 1>I jumped up, and she said I seen it run
<v Speaker 1>off and said it looked like a big foot and
<v Speaker 1>her car was all torn up and everything. She actually
<v Speaker 1>hit some kind of animal. She had hair and bud
<v Speaker 1>all over her vehicle and it was messed up. She
<v Speaker 1>ended up, you know, the insurns ended up fixing her vehicle,
<v Speaker 1>and I think she made a police report and all
<v Speaker 1>on it, but nothing was ever found of that.
<v Speaker 3>You know, did you go to the site.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, we went there to where she claimed she hit
<v Speaker 2>it at.
<v Speaker 1>You know, we didn't ever see any tracks or anything.
<v Speaker 1>But this was probably a couple of weeks after I
<v Speaker 1>mean you know, there was any kind of track, It
<v Speaker 1>may have been washed away already.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, whatever, it's already.
<v Speaker 1>Disappeared with time, you know. And one of the guys
<v Speaker 1>he got some mud samples and some hair samples and
<v Speaker 1>we're going to do some DNA, and last I already
<v Speaker 1>was looking for somebody to do DNA, and I'm just
<v Speaker 1>giving the name of a couple of people I knew
<v Speaker 1>that was into that could help him out.

<v Speaker 1>anything else. It's gonna be coarser, but it's gonna be short.

<v Speaker 1>So wasn't anything that I knew they would have hair

<v Speaker 3>About you mentioned you were a truck driver. Did you
<v Speaker 3>hear any stories while you were doing that?
<v Speaker 1>When I drove trucks, you find out you're setting around
<v Speaker 1>a truck stop, and truck drivers had always got all
<v Speaker 1>kind of crazy stories. You're telling myself though I never
<v Speaker 1>had expirits on the road. You're most of the time
<v Speaker 1>I'd be out on the Interstate. That's you're driving out
<v Speaker 1>on the Interstate and there are a lot of vehicles
<v Speaker 1>on the air skating. There's not a lot around, Joe.
<v Speaker 3>Did you ever hear any black dog stories?
<v Speaker 2>Man? I heard all kinds of stuff I have.
<v Speaker 1>I heard all kinds of stories about different stuff, and
<v Speaker 1>I think a lot of that. Those people just they're
<v Speaker 1>just talking like you know, they even made a movie
<v Speaker 1>one time, you know, called I forget what it was
<v Speaker 1>Patrick Swayze was at it where he was a truck.
<v Speaker 2>Driver, you know.
<v Speaker 1>And yeah, I think that's what it was called, was
<v Speaker 1>Black Dog or something like that.
<v Speaker 3>I think you're right, man.
<v Speaker 1>I heard all kinds of stories after that movie came out.
<v Speaker 1>People are crazy, they did and wanted something to talk about. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they get more. They got nobody to talk to, and
<v Speaker 1>then when they do get around somebody to talk.
<v Speaker 2>To, they can't shut up.
<v Speaker 3>So who's this group of guys that you go running
<v Speaker 3>around with? Are you like an actual bigfoot group?
<v Speaker 1>Well, yeah, kind of. It's uh yeah, it's losing in
<v Speaker 1>a big Foot hunters the only ones that have auld
<v Speaker 1>ever over of us that ever goes out camping and looking.
<v Speaker 1>It's always kind of the same ones all the time.
<v Speaker 1>We're all old. Anyway, we're not gonna get out there
<v Speaker 1>and run through the woods and chase him down. In Nacatives,
<v Speaker 1>they usually have the Nagatives Bigfoot Festival every year, and
<v Speaker 1>they usually have speakers speaking there and people calling their
<v Speaker 1>stories and all. And I've gone to the last two.
<v Speaker 1>They might be going to do another one, you know
<v Speaker 1>here here soon that I think you have a problem
<v Speaker 1>getting a building a place that has enough capacity, you know,
<v Speaker 1>because they're using the events center there and it bit
<v Speaker 1>center has got like a couple of little rooms where
<v Speaker 1>people can go in and speak, you know, and they
<v Speaker 1>have seats. There's not a lot of seats in there,
<v Speaker 1>and the nurse a couple of areas in the middle
<v Speaker 1>it's open and that's usually where all the vendors is at.
<v Speaker 3>So, I mean, they do pretty good at that festival,
<v Speaker 3>don't they. It's been pretty big, but it seems to
<v Speaker 3>be growing each year.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it is. It's pretty big, and they don't really
<v Speaker 1>have enough seats for everybody, you know, and and use
<v Speaker 1>the building is packed, I know. The first time they've
<v Speaker 1>done it, there was so many people showed up. There
<v Speaker 1>was a line come out of the door and going
<v Speaker 1>down the sidewalk down the street and people, you know,
<v Speaker 1>they couldn't find any parking. Really, the parking lot was full,
<v Speaker 1>and people was parking on the sides of the streets
<v Speaker 1>and everything else, and they were standing in line for
<v Speaker 1>long piers trying to get in and the line wasn't
<v Speaker 1>even moving fast enough. You know, you get everybody in.
<v Speaker 2>And then the next.
<v Speaker 1>Year acted that they figured out a way to have
<v Speaker 1>several lines they it all moved faster, though, but the
<v Speaker 1>building couldn't hold all the people that wanted to come.
<v Speaker 3>You know, so, I assume you're talking about Carl and Jeff.
<v Speaker 3>I've had them on the show a couple of times.
<v Speaker 3>I like those guys. I think that'll about do it.
