<v Speaker 2>My big foot sightings happened in Washington State and Oregon State.
<v Speaker 2>My name is Darren shul from with DBK Investigations by Washington.
<v Speaker 2>Sighting happened seven years ago. Me and a bunch of
<v Speaker 2>my friends were out camping on the coast and they
<v Speaker 2>were taking a little bit too long to tear down
<v Speaker 2>the camp so we can all go home. So I
<v Speaker 2>decided to go for a walk, and as I was walking,
<v Speaker 2>I suddenly got hit with a smell of that musky,
<v Speaker 2>dead skunk wrapped in skunk cabbage smell, and I happened
<v Speaker 2>to look over into a little field I was walking nearby,
<v Speaker 2>and I had seen a eight to nine foot tall,
<v Speaker 2>strawberry blonde male bigfoot standing there, and I was about
<v Speaker 2>twelve feet away from This was the first time seeing
<v Speaker 2>him up close and personal. He was staring at me,
<v Speaker 2>I was staring at him. We both kind of surprised
<v Speaker 2>at each other. Apparently we just sat locked eyes for
<v Speaker 2>probably a good forty seconds, and then he kind of
<v Speaker 2>at me. I took that as a sign that I
<v Speaker 2>need to get out of here, and so I just
<v Speaker 2>turned slowly around and walked the other direction. He walked
<v Speaker 2>the opposing direction. Got back to camp and told everybody
<v Speaker 2>what had happened, and we went back to the site
<v Speaker 2>to try to figure out size and everything else and
<v Speaker 2>compare it to trees and take certain people and this
<v Speaker 2>person six foot two, we're going to put him against
<v Speaker 2>that tree where it was sitting so we can gauge
<v Speaker 2>out some height to it. So that was the first one.
<v Speaker 2>And then five years ago my group is a or
<v Speaker 2>a normal group, and me and a bunch of my
<v Speaker 2>guys went up to this old abandoned house up in
<v Speaker 2>the hills. We were going up there to do ghost hunting. Well,
<v Speaker 2>while we were up there, we're trying to find the
<v Speaker 2>old cemetery so that we could we can do some
<v Speaker 2>EVP sessions at the old cemetery. And nobody really knew
<v Speaker 2>where this this place was. So we had found the
<v Speaker 2>house and we were told generally where the cemetery was.
<v Speaker 2>So we come down and we split up, which is
<v Speaker 2>against every horror movie rule there is, don't split up
<v Speaker 2>in the woods. There were about six of us guys
<v Speaker 2>and we all just scattered. And as I'm walking down
<v Speaker 2>the road, I'm taping stuff for the YouTube channel, and
<v Speaker 2>I'm getting rocks thrown at me from the hillside and
<v Speaker 2>I kind of note this, and at this point I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>this would be funny if it's a Sasquatch. I go
<v Speaker 2>to the area where they said the cemetery is. I
<v Speaker 2>call all the guys back. We go down into the
<v Speaker 2>area where it's supposed to be, and we find a
<v Speaker 2>tree structure. Well, everybody's looking at it, and all the
<v Speaker 2>branches are put together and they're all interlocked within each
<v Speaker 2>other and it's all been weaved together. The vegetation that
<v Speaker 2>was down inside of this tpee wasn't the vegetation that
<v Speaker 2>was in the immediate area. So we're all kind of
<v Speaker 2>getting really excited about this. And we're looking around and
<v Speaker 2>a lot of the younger tree stocks are stripped or
<v Speaker 2>to bark, because the inner bark of a tree is
<v Speaker 2>like a starch. You can use it for survival food.
<v Speaker 2>So we're looking at this, going okay, well, something was
<v Speaker 2>laying here, something was eating the inner bark off of
<v Speaker 2>these trees. And that's when one of my guys starts
<v Speaker 2>tapping me on my back and he's staring out into this.
<v Speaker 2>It's a little valley, I mean steam in a valley.
<v Speaker 2>It's come just like a little depression in the hillside.
<v Speaker 2>And he starts slapping my back and he's like, you
<v Speaker 2>got to see this, and we all turn and look,
<v Speaker 2>and as we're watching this bipedial form comes. It's running
<v Speaker 2>across and hides behind another tree, and we're we've got
<v Speaker 2>a thermal camera up and we aiming at the tree
<v Speaker 2>and we can see this the hot zone behind it.
<v Speaker 2>And as we're looking at this, my buddy had tapped
<v Speaker 2>me on my shoulder. He's like, look over here, to
<v Speaker 2>my eleven o'clock. So we change our view over and
<v Speaker 2>there's a sasquatch hiding behind a tree. Another one, and
<v Speaker 2>he's peering up over this log and he's staring at us,
<v Speaker 2>and we're making eye contact, and it's probably about a
<v Speaker 2>good i'd say, probably about twenty thirty yards away from us,
<v Speaker 2>and it's looking at us and we're looking at him.
<v Speaker 2>And as we're surveying the situation, we've discovered that there's
<v Speaker 2>two we're guessing females that are probably about eight feet tall.
<v Speaker 2>One was seven feet tall, and then there were two
<v Speaker 2>small children, two youngins that were like hiding. One was
<v Speaker 2>kind of in a little little den area and it
<v Speaker 2>was kind of you could see the eyeshine and it
<v Speaker 2>blinking at us. So as we're doing all that and
<v Speaker 2>we're just staring at it and it's staring at us,
<v Speaker 2>and we're trying to record, and one of my guys goes, hey,
<v Speaker 2>get give out a whoop, see if it'll respond. So
<v Speaker 2>I give out the whoop and we get a response
<v Speaker 2>from behind us. Well, up until this point, we're ghost
<v Speaker 2>hunters that we're solely focused on, goes My brother who
<v Speaker 2>was with us, was the bigfoot guy, and he didn't
<v Speaker 2>want to come all the way down in the valley,
<v Speaker 2>so he was up on the road and when I
<v Speaker 2>gave out the hoop and we got the whoop back
<v Speaker 2>at us from behind us, he took off. He was like,
<v Speaker 2>I'm too close to this scening. It's ten feet behind
<v Speaker 2>me whooping at me, and he could really hear it
<v Speaker 2>and it wasn't my echo. So he takes off back
<v Speaker 2>to the car and he's like, I got to get
<v Speaker 2>out of here. Well, we get all surprised by that one,
<v Speaker 2>so we all turn around to try to figure out
<v Speaker 2>what's going on behind us. And as we're all turned
<v Speaker 2>around staring at that, one of my guys that was
<v Speaker 2>making eye contact with one of the young'uns goes, they're leaving,
<v Speaker 2>and so we all turn around again real fast because
<v Speaker 2>we're we got a lot of action going on, and
<v Speaker 2>all four of them had disappeared. He goes, yeah, they
<v Speaker 2>just they took off back up into the other side
<v Speaker 2>of the valley, and you know they were quick. He's like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>they were very fast when they moved. So we didn't
<v Speaker 2>get a chance to go down look for prints or
<v Speaker 2>anything because we didn't have any climbing gear. So we left,
<v Speaker 2>we talked about it. We're all excited. So now we
<v Speaker 2>start deciding that, you know, now we got to start
<v Speaker 2>getting into this little bit more because this is dumb
<v Speaker 2>luck that we stumbled upon this. We never found the cemetery,
<v Speaker 2>so we start reading and researching. I start interviewing people.
<v Speaker 2>I put out a little cry on Facebook of hey,
<v Speaker 2>has there been any sightings in our county? And then
<v Speaker 2>I start throwing away some witness statements and then I
<v Speaker 2>start matching up. Okay, so all of ours had black fur.
<v Speaker 2>So now I get out the little poster board of
<v Speaker 2>the county map. I start pinpointing. Okay, so all the
<v Speaker 2>black haired sightings happened here, all the strawberry blonds happened
<v Speaker 2>over here, The redheads were over here, and the blondes
<v Speaker 2>were over here. So we give it about a year.
<v Speaker 2>We all started doing a lot of research. We start
<v Speaker 2>looking into things. We take all this data of okay,
<v Speaker 2>where are the black haired sasquatch is seen? And we
<v Speaker 2>start making a perimeter. So we give it a year.
<v Speaker 2>We come back the next year, the following April, and
<v Speaker 2>we have a designated zone that we're going to start
<v Speaker 2>looking at so we've nicknamed it the swamp because it's
<v Speaker 2>a swamp. And as we're we're going in, we find
<v Speaker 2>a nest in the swamp in the very back end
<v Speaker 2>of it. This thing was very well put together and
<v Speaker 2>it was right next to an elk run. So as
<v Speaker 2>we're documenting the nest and we're looking at it and
<v Speaker 2>my guys over looking at the elk run, he goes,
<v Speaker 2>this tree isn't part of any of the other trees
<v Speaker 2>around here. This is a redwood, it shouldn't be here,
<v Speaker 2>and everything else here is a willow. And that tree
<v Speaker 2>that wasn't supposed to be there was actually put across
<v Speaker 2>the path. So we started thinking, okay, well, it's a
<v Speaker 2>very well worn elk run. They come out of sanctuary,
<v Speaker 2>they come down to the swamp to drink, so maybe
<v Speaker 2>they're bigfoot are blocking it off. So we document everything
<v Speaker 2>up to this point. We're just like, okay, well, they's
<v Speaker 2>got to be old, and on our way out we
<v Speaker 2>end up finding footprints a series of them, and they're fresh,
<v Speaker 2>they're they're still filling up with water at this point,
<v Speaker 2>so we're like, okay, well, something's close to us and
<v Speaker 2>it knows it. It knows we're here, and now we
<v Speaker 2>know it's here. So we're getting on our way out
<v Speaker 2>the trail because we've been there for a couple hours,
<v Speaker 2>and we kind of stop on the trail just before
<v Speaker 2>the cars and we start talking and we're discussing next
<v Speaker 2>plan of action. What do we need to do now?
<v Speaker 2>Couldn't cast track because it was filing full of water.
<v Speaker 2>The ness was very one of those really cool places
<v Speaker 2>that we had seen. And as we're standing there, we
<v Speaker 2>get hit with that musk scent again. Well, as we're
<v Speaker 2>alerted to this, it was just suddenly just came over
<v Speaker 2>us in a heartbeat, and we're all just kind of
<v Speaker 2>I would say, we're all just kind of really confused
<v Speaker 2>at this point because it's like, Okay, well, where is
<v Speaker 2>this suddenly coming from. Well, there's a little stream off
<v Speaker 2>to one side of the trail and we can hear
<v Speaker 2>something splashing around. Well, one of my guys happens to
<v Speaker 2>see something run past in the swamp. Well, as we
<v Speaker 2>divert our attention these squatch they do seem to love
<v Speaker 2>to mess with us when we're out there. So while
<v Speaker 2>we're watching one direction, we're hearing the creature in the
<v Speaker 2>stream start up with a full blown run. Well, we
<v Speaker 2>go down into the stream bed and we're looking around
<v Speaker 2>and we're trying to figure out what's going on. And
<v Speaker 2>that's when I look over and the guy I'm with
<v Speaker 2>is noticing that that there's these rocks put up on
<v Speaker 2>these these branches, and he's like, well, you know, if
<v Speaker 2>this was to flood out, a rock isn't going to
<v Speaker 2>just be placed has on a branch. Well, well he's
<v Speaker 2>pointing that out. I happen to look up in time
<v Speaker 2>to see this other juvenile squatch grab a tree from
<v Speaker 2>up on the bank and hoist himself up and disappear
<v Speaker 2>up and over the bank. Black fur probably about seven
<v Speaker 2>feet tall. That's just a rough estimate. The hillside was
<v Speaker 2>way too steep for us to try to follow it all.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, my buddy was six six and he couldn't
<v Speaker 2>even reach where the handprints were. But he didn't see
<v Speaker 2>it happen. He was looking at this giant, four pound
<v Speaker 2>rock up on our branch. So we finished up that trip,
<v Speaker 2>we started talking about a little bit more. A couple
<v Speaker 2>months later we came back. We didn't find much at
<v Speaker 2>all on the swamp, and we're like, okay, well, now
<v Speaker 2>we know the position of the old cemetery. So's you know,
<v Speaker 2>at this point we're thinking, okay, well we haven't had
<v Speaker 2>any encounters today, we haven't seen any prints. We'll go
<v Speaker 2>up to the old graveyard. We know where that is.
<v Speaker 2>That way we're not just out here wasting a day,
<v Speaker 2>and we'll do some ghost work at the old cemetery.
<v Speaker 2>We get all the way down to the old Cemetery,
<v Speaker 2>which is about five miles down in and we find
<v Speaker 2>the location and we're doing EVP work and we're doing
<v Speaker 2>some digital recorder stuff and one of my guys decides, well,
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to go off in the bushes here and
<v Speaker 2>take care of nature's colin. So next thing we hear
<v Speaker 2>out of him is he goes up onto this hillside
<v Speaker 2>in between all these trees and he's like, I'm just
<v Speaker 2>going to go here. Well a minute later he calls
<v Speaker 2>out and he goes, you guys got to get up here.
<v Speaker 2>So we go up and there's another giant nest and
<v Speaker 2>in all the trees around the nest is hung all
<v Speaker 2>these ferns. And this is on the top of the
<v Speaker 2>ridge of the hillsides there, so it's not like a
<v Speaker 2>winter snowstorm is going to you know, an avalanche is
<v Speaker 2>going to knock down all the ferns and stuff because
<v Speaker 2>this is up high and the ferns don't really grow here,
<v Speaker 2>so it's like, okay, so there's obviously a nest and
<v Speaker 2>we have all these ferns just hung up haphazardly in
<v Speaker 2>the tree line making a blind around this area. So
<v Speaker 2>as we're sitting up there and we're taking photographs and
<v Speaker 2>we're exploring, we start hearing growling and we're kind of
<v Speaker 2>looking around, looking around, looking around, and I'm like, okay,
<v Speaker 2>well we do have, yeah, black bear, but it doesn't
<v Speaker 2>sound like a black bear. We have cougar. And as
<v Speaker 2>we're kind of like getting a little tense about the
<v Speaker 2>situation and we're just like, okay, well, let's let's just
<v Speaker 2>quiet down and let's see what's going on here. As
<v Speaker 2>we're scanning the area and we're kind of looking this
<v Speaker 2>one wasn't exactly a full on sighting like we've had before,
<v Speaker 2>but we could hear it and we can see the
<v Speaker 2>trees moving off to one side, as if this thing
<v Speaker 2>knew we were there, and it was a nesting area.
<v Speaker 2>It was fairly recent, So we started shaking some trees
<v Speaker 2>at us. So as we're looking across this little meadow,
<v Speaker 2>you can see all these trees that starts shaking violently,
<v Speaker 2>and we're like, okay, this might be time to leave.
<v Speaker 2>We should not be here. So as we're getting out,
<v Speaker 2>we get hit with that smell a couple more times.
<v Speaker 2>We're definitely being stocked. At this point, we're finding places
<v Speaker 2>and we're technically not supposed to be in. We're in
<v Speaker 2>somebody's living room and they're not happy with us, so
<v Speaker 2>we get out. Finally, it was a long, long hike out.
<v Speaker 2>Every time we turned around and we're trying to look,
<v Speaker 2>you know, you can always see that one lone little
<v Speaker 2>tree shaking a little bit harder than it should be.
<v Speaker 2>There wasn't a lot of wind that day, but it
<v Speaker 2>was like literally every hundred steps, we'd stop and turn around. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>let's take a look. Are we still being followed? Are
<v Speaker 2>we still being stoked? And there'd be that just one
<v Speaker 2>noticeable tree that just started violently shaking. Okay, all right,
<v Speaker 2>this guy's telling us we don't need to be here,
<v Speaker 2>you need to get out here. And then we continue
<v Speaker 2>on and stop and go okay, Well, this literally happened
<v Speaker 2>the entire walk back and it just kept happening and
<v Speaker 2>happening and happening. As we got closer to where the
<v Speaker 2>cars were, it thins out a little bit, and at
<v Speaker 2>that point we were just having little rocks thrown at us.
<v Speaker 2>So something on that trip was not happy. We were
<v Speaker 2>finding a nest and we were hanging out, and yeah,
<v Speaker 2>my buddy never did take care of nature's call, which
<v Speaker 2>is probably a good thing because we don't want to
<v Speaker 2>be You don't go to somebody's house and do nature's
<v Speaker 2>call in their living room. That's not good times. So
<v Speaker 2>we do a little bit more research. We talked to
<v Speaker 2>some people. We talked to doctor Jeff Meldrum at a conference.
<v Speaker 2>We try to get his input on things. We wait
<v Speaker 2>another year, we get more packed up, we get more
<v Speaker 2>more gear that we need, We come equipped with more knowledge.
<v Speaker 2>How do we need to do this? What do we
<v Speaker 2>need to do? We return to the swamp and this
<v Speaker 2>time we're just going to go in, set up some
<v Speaker 2>trail cameras and get back out. Well, we don't even
<v Speaker 2>get past the main gate because this is all old
<v Speaker 2>logging roads. It's literally just up in the backwoods. And
<v Speaker 2>we get past the main gate and we're just like, okay, well,
<v Speaker 2>we're not going to pack a lot of stuff. We're
<v Speaker 2>just going to go set up some cameras. We'll see
<v Speaker 2>what happens and maybe have some lunch. Well, we set
<v Speaker 2>up all the cameras, we stop up in the swamp,
<v Speaker 2>and again we're getting things thrown at us. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>we don't even get into the swamp area itself, we
<v Speaker 2>don't even make it that far. We're getting whoops, we're
<v Speaker 2>getting tree knocks and turn to our tree knox. We're
<v Speaker 2>getting some growls. We get a little bit more of
<v Speaker 2>that musk scent. So we set up everything. We left
<v Speaker 2>some apples and some oranges and some various fruit in
<v Speaker 2>an area in front of the trail camera, hoping that
<v Speaker 2>it would set off something. And we decide, okay, well
<v Speaker 2>we're gonna go check out another area of this old
<v Speaker 2>logging area. Kind of give this time to do what
<v Speaker 2>it needs to do. Get back to the truck. We
<v Speaker 2>drive another couple miles away. At this point, we find
<v Speaker 2>what we have affectionately called the tunnel, and it looks
<v Speaker 2>as if something big has just walked through this path
<v Speaker 2>of trees and just broken all these branches down into
<v Speaker 2>like just this perfect arch and we get into the
<v Speaker 2>tunnel and we start following it, and the things goes
<v Speaker 2>on and on and on, and we're getting wood knocks
<v Speaker 2>in return, we're getting wops. Don't get any smells on
<v Speaker 2>this one. But as we get way way up there,
<v Speaker 2>I mean we're probably about I don't know, I say,
<v Speaker 2>about two and a half miles up the tunnel, we
<v Speaker 2>come to find out it comes out at the gate
<v Speaker 2>to the swamp. So something is using this as like
<v Speaker 2>a like a highway. Well, we turn around. We're like, okay,
<v Speaker 2>well we're parked at the other end, so we got
<v Speaker 2>to go back. So we do the long walk back
<v Speaker 2>and as we're walking through, we start finding mushrooms up
<v Speaker 2>in the branches at our eye level, and they're just
<v Speaker 2>mushrooms all the way down. We didn't see these things
<v Speaker 2>on the way up. We never saw any mushrooms on
<v Speaker 2>the way up. But as we're going back to the car,
<v Speaker 2>these are very obvious that there are these mushrooms up
<v Speaker 2>in the tree line where we can see them, and
<v Speaker 2>they're freshly picked out of the ground. So we get
<v Speaker 2>back to the truck and there are more mushrooms on
<v Speaker 2>the tailgate. So we're thinking that something has left all
<v Speaker 2>these mushrooms for us as a gift, and we're trying
<v Speaker 2>to tie into it. Is it happening because we left
<v Speaker 2>stuff for them at the swamp, so we document everything.
<v Speaker 2>We don't have any physical sighting. When we get up
<v Speaker 2>to where the game camera is, it has fallen off
<v Speaker 2>the tree, so it has fallen down and has hit
<v Speaker 2>the ground. I don't want to say that a squatch
<v Speaker 2>was able to undo the strap. Maybe it was operator,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, but somehow the strap had come undone
<v Speaker 2>and it had fallen onto the ground lens first, so
<v Speaker 2>the fruit and everything was gone, but the camera was
<v Speaker 2>face first in the mud. We got nothing on that one.
<v Speaker 2>There was no audio because it wasn't able to you know.
<v Speaker 2>The last picture he had actually took was it aimed
<v Speaker 2>towards the ground and taken a nose dive. So we
<v Speaker 2>did that one, and then recently back in June, we
<v Speaker 2>go out. We're going back to the swamp. We've had
<v Speaker 2>great luck at the swamp. We had done an interview
<v Speaker 2>with a man in the next town over and he
<v Speaker 2>had been saying that the big mail of the tribe
<v Speaker 2>was out by his house. So we had gone out
<v Speaker 2>and we'd found some tracks, we'd done some investigation, we
<v Speaker 2>talked to some other people. Not much should come out
<v Speaker 2>of that little investigation. So we had gone back out
<v Speaker 2>this past June, back to the gate and we're like, okay,
<v Speaker 2>well let's go where we know we've had success. So
<v Speaker 2>we go back out. We go back out to the swamp.
<v Speaker 2>We find another nest and it still has the ferns
<v Speaker 2>and everything hung up in the tree, and there's about
<v Speaker 2>eight of us out there wandering around the woods, which
<v Speaker 2>is we alerted everything to our presence. So we split
<v Speaker 2>up and part of my group went down another side
<v Speaker 2>logging road to investigate. We had never been down there before,
<v Speaker 2>so it's like, okay, well you guys go down there,
<v Speaker 2>we'll go deeper in the swamp. Well, there's four of
<v Speaker 2>us in the swamp and we're just sitting there talking
<v Speaker 2>and then we're all being real quiet just to kind
<v Speaker 2>of listen, and I start hearing it sounds like two
<v Speaker 2>women speaking like Lakota, and we're kind of like trying
<v Speaker 2>to figure this out, and everybody else is talking off
<v Speaker 2>to the side. I'm like, no, I hear things. There's
<v Speaker 2>sounds like two women off to one side. We do
<v Speaker 2>a check, get all of our ladies together, and we're like, okay,
<v Speaker 2>does anybody here speak Lakota? And I had the Sierra
<v Speaker 2>Sounds pre recorded on my phone. I said, listen, this
<v Speaker 2>is what I'm hearing. Do any of you talk anything
<v Speaker 2>a native dialect? And everyone's like no, I don't know,
<v Speaker 2>we don't speak anything like that. And I'm like, well,
<v Speaker 2>this is what I'm hearing, but it's it sounds like
<v Speaker 2>two females. And then we're trying to put together that. Okay, well,
<v Speaker 2>we're at a nest site. In our previous dealings with
<v Speaker 2>other groups, there was a group called the Olympic Project
<v Speaker 2>and they have been finding nests and their theory is
<v Speaker 2>that female Sasquatch would be using this nest to give birth.
<v Speaker 2>The nests up in the Olympic Peninsula are huckleberry nests.
<v Speaker 2>Huckleberries have a high medicinal count for childbirth. Well, our
<v Speaker 2>altitude is too low for huckleberries to grow properly, so
<v Speaker 2>we're looking at it, going, okay, well, ferns, So I
<v Speaker 2>look up what medicinal qualities do bracken ferns have. Well,
<v Speaker 2>they help with childbirth, after birth, breastfeeding. So we're like
<v Speaker 2>trying to put things together. Okay, well, our nests have ferns.
<v Speaker 2>Every single mess we've found, the lean to that we
<v Speaker 2>found the teepee structure had ferns, So could they be
<v Speaker 2>using ferns as medicine after childbirth? And then I'm thinking,
<v Speaker 2>I'm thinking, I'm and it's like, okay, well, we're finding
<v Speaker 2>nests and every time we find a nest, we're having
<v Speaker 2>sounds and voices come out us. So I'm like, For example,
<v Speaker 2>doctor Jeff Meldrum was saying that one of the theories
<v Speaker 2>for a bigfoot family is the male would have a
<v Speaker 2>central location as his territory and then the females and
<v Speaker 2>the young would be on the outskirts of the territory.
<v Speaker 2>I forget what he called it. So we start putting together, Okay, well,
<v Speaker 2>the big male has always been seen in this other
<v Speaker 2>town on the river, so we're always seen to be
<v Speaker 2>finding females and young in our area. So maybe these
<v Speaker 2>two because we've had two sidings of we guess females
<v Speaker 2>with young, So what if these are two females and
<v Speaker 2>they're young that are still in this area. We've got
<v Speaker 2>guys in gilly suits and they go out and they
<v Speaker 2>just kind of sit and the rest of the group
<v Speaker 2>moves on. So we meet up with everybody else who
<v Speaker 2>went down the following road, and we find another set
<v Speaker 2>of big prints and it's like six of them in
<v Speaker 2>a row, and there's a fresh carcass. There's bones elkbones
<v Speaker 2>that have been cracked, and the marrow has been kind
<v Speaker 2>of eaten. So we're kind of down there. And previous
<v Speaker 2>expedition we had run into something that wasn't Bigfoot and
<v Speaker 2>was not happy. So at this point some of us
<v Speaker 2>are strapped with guns because of that previous and not
<v Speaker 2>wanting to deal with those things. Well, as we enter
<v Speaker 2>what now we call the feeding grounds because of the
<v Speaker 2>amount of bones and the carcasses that were around, I
<v Speaker 2>started to get feeling really uneasy because my pistol's down
<v Speaker 2>on my leg. Well, some of the guys that are
<v Speaker 2>packing start to get real uneasy six of their stomach. Well,
<v Speaker 2>we decide we're going to go ahead and get out
<v Speaker 2>of there, because it's like, okay, well we're not feeling well,
<v Speaker 2>we shouldn't be out here. We get the hike back out.
<v Speaker 2>We passed by that little stream and at that point
<v Speaker 2>a couple of rocks get thrown at us. I'm not
<v Speaker 2>feeling very well, so I don't point it out to
<v Speaker 2>the rest of the group, but it's rocks that are
<v Speaker 2>being thrown in front of us, as in, you guys
<v Speaker 2>aren't supposed to be here, you shouldn't be here. We
<v Speaker 2>get the sick people to the truck. We lay down
<v Speaker 2>on the bed of the truck and we were drinking
<v Speaker 2>water and we're trying to get feeling better. One of
<v Speaker 2>my guys goes back to cast the print and as
<v Speaker 2>we're sitting there talking, you know, you got these little
<v Speaker 2>pebbles being thrown on to the hood of the truck.
<v Speaker 2>You could hear things in the woods kind of moving around.
<v Speaker 2>So it's like, Okay, this is not a place for
<v Speaker 2>us to be. So the swamp area seems to be
<v Speaker 2>the one place that we have a good encounters with.
<v Speaker 2>Our game plan is to go back and try to
<v Speaker 2>get on better terms with this family. We believe it
<v Speaker 2>is two females, and over the last six years of
<v Speaker 2>going up there, we've counted two young uns. We feel
<v Speaker 2>that those have grown up a little bit more two
<v Speaker 2>teenagers style. I mean, if we count the nests and
<v Speaker 2>what we've already seen, we've got one to two youngs
<v Speaker 2>at this point. Then we've counted probably about four the
<v Speaker 2>six adolescents teenagers. One of them is definitely a male.
<v Speaker 2>He's not the alpha. He was the one that he
<v Speaker 2>seems to be like the watchdog of this unit. He's
<v Speaker 2>the one that seems to be telling us that you
<v Speaker 2>shouldn't be here. And hopefully one day we'll get on
<v Speaker 2>better terms with him. And then another one of our
<v Speaker 2>encounters happened out in the Oregon coast. We had found
<v Speaker 2>prints out at it's a place called Battery Russell. It's
<v Speaker 2>an old World War two military fort, and we had
<v Speaker 2>been out walking around and it was just happenstance. We
<v Speaker 2>found a set of prints that came out of the woods,
<v Speaker 2>crossed over this sandy path and then moved into a
<v Speaker 2>swamp across the other way. So we tracked him and
<v Speaker 2>you know, we didn't have any gear with us. This
<v Speaker 2>was just you know, vacation, so we did our best engauge.
<v Speaker 2>They were about sixteen inches long. There was four and
<v Speaker 2>a half that we could actually track. So we're kind
<v Speaker 2>of looking over the swamp area there and we're kind
<v Speaker 2>of joking around about it about like, ah, this is
<v Speaker 2>kind of weird, you know, give it out a couple
<v Speaker 2>of hoops and we get whoops back. And then as
<v Speaker 2>I'm i mean, we're up there quite a ways and
<v Speaker 2>I'm looking down in the swamp and I'm trying to
<v Speaker 2>take video with my phone kind of see one poets.
<v Speaker 2>It's head out from behind a couple of trees, and
<v Speaker 2>he's kind of looking at us, and you know, we're
<v Speaker 2>giving wood knocks and everything, and you know, just trying
<v Speaker 2>to get a response. But the response is are coming
<v Speaker 2>from this one. It's coming from further behind him. So
<v Speaker 2>I'm looking at him, he's looking at me, and it's
<v Speaker 2>he just he just kind of has just look like,
<v Speaker 2>what are you doing. We're just doing our thing. Leave
<v Speaker 2>us alone. So just goes on for about five minutes.
<v Speaker 2>He's peeking around over here, and then he kind of
<v Speaker 2>disappears a little bit, and then we're getting little bit
<v Speaker 2>more whoops, wood knocks and return. Never got any smell.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, we were probably about eighty eighty five feet
<v Speaker 2>away from him, and it was in a swamp. We
<v Speaker 2>couldn't gauge how tall he really was. We were up
<v Speaker 2>on a bit of a bluff looking down on him.
<v Speaker 2>But it was definitely a squatch. And that guy, I
<v Speaker 2>mean his the squatches that I've seen, like the one
<v Speaker 2>up close and personal, the strawberry blonde. His nose looked
<v Speaker 2>more like a gorilla's. His face reminded me more of
<v Speaker 2>a gorilla. I mean, he was very big, very filled out.
<v Speaker 2>If I was to guess a weight, I'd say at
<v Speaker 2>least eight hundred pounds. But this guy was all muscle.
<v Speaker 2>And the brown eyes it was like a yellowish brown,
<v Speaker 2>actually just more brown than yellow. But that guy, I mean,
<v Speaker 2>he was definitely not impressed. We were there now the
<v Speaker 2>family that we've been following. The ladies looked it wasn't
<v Speaker 2>so much a gorilla style, knows, I would say it
<v Speaker 2>was more of a It was more of a pronounced
<v Speaker 2>Patterson Gimley video Patty style. They remind me a lot
<v Speaker 2>of the Patty video. Black hair, more pronounced, a little bit,
<v Speaker 2>more of a nose on them, not so much the
<v Speaker 2>gorilla style. But those ladies are I couldn't even happen
<v Speaker 2>to guess. Wait on them. The children that the I
<v Speaker 2>keep saying children, but the young's they were probably about
<v Speaker 2>a good four feet tall when we had first seen them,
<v Speaker 2>they were tiny. Their eyes were a golden brown, fairly
<v Speaker 2>long hair, not a lot of hair on the face.
<v Speaker 2>But when we're actually hearing them grumble, it's very, very deep.
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't even replicate it, but we had been wearing
<v Speaker 2>body cams the last couple of times we went out,
<v Speaker 2>the time in June when we went back up to
<v Speaker 2>the swamp. We didn't get the two ladies talking to
<v Speaker 2>each other. But what I did get on the body
<v Speaker 2>camera was we had a younger, married couple with us
<v Speaker 2>and they were discussing their evening plans. Say, let's go
<v Speaker 2>to dinner, YadA, YadA, we're going to go here, And
<v Speaker 2>as they're discussing food, on the body camera, we get
<v Speaker 2>this per and it's not a cougar. It's only about
<v Speaker 2>three seconds long, but the husband is talking about we
<v Speaker 2>should go get pizza, and the wife responds with I
<v Speaker 2>love pizza, especially with pineapple. And it's not her the purrs,
<v Speaker 2>but you hear this per just beyond their voices because
<v Speaker 2>I'm looking into the tree line at this point and
<v Speaker 2>they're kind of off to my left hand side, and
<v Speaker 2>as they're talking about pizza and pineapple, you hear. But
<v Speaker 2>it wasn't an aggressive it was like, I'm intrigued. This
<v Speaker 2>is interesting. So our game plan is to go back up,
<v Speaker 2>try to leave a little bit more food, try to
<v Speaker 2>get a bit more on better terms with these things.
<v Speaker 2>They definitely know we're coming. We've heard on multiple occasions
<v Speaker 2>that where the Mail sits apparently sits up on a hill.
<v Speaker 2>The whole town goes out and sees him. So we've
<v Speaker 2>got to wait until April because everybody that we've talked
<v Speaker 2>to says, yeah, you go out the end of April.
<v Speaker 2>He sits on the hill right above the river. Everybody
<v Speaker 2>sees him that nobody pays him any mind. He just
<v Speaker 2>apparently he's a giant nine footer, just looks big and impressive.
<v Speaker 2>The one guy we talked to said that he was
<v Speaker 2>taking pictures one day and he was doing hoops and hollers,
<v Speaker 2>and the giant Mail actually went back to his house
<v Speaker 2>and was knocking on his mobile homes door, very angry
<v Speaker 2>and pissed off. So apparently that's why nobody ever takes
<v Speaker 2>any pictures of the mail is he tracks you down.
<v Speaker 2>He doesn't like that. But yeah, definitely seeing this family
<v Speaker 2>and the nests and the times that they have gracis
<v Speaker 2>with their appearance. It has moved my paranormal group into
<v Speaker 2>a whole new direction where we're now talking about doing
<v Speaker 2>full day trips instead of just four or five hours out,
<v Speaker 2>you know, go out, set up a tent, a tarp,
<v Speaker 2>do like a whole day maybe of an overnighter. Hopefully
<v Speaker 2>we can make peace with this younger male, let them
<v Speaker 2>know that, Hey, listen, we're not trying to intrude on
<v Speaker 2>your house. We're not trying to break into your mom's
<v Speaker 2>bedroom and mess with the kids. We're just curious on
<v Speaker 2>what's going on. This is new to us, so hopefully
<v Speaker 2>someday we'll have more story on these guys and well
<v Speaker 2>actually have a better interaction with them. And we've talked
