<v Speaker 3>Just before Christmas, I decided it was time to sell
<v Speaker 3>it or find a way to display it. I ended
<v Speaker 3>up going down the rabbit hole researching jewelry display cases
<v Speaker 3>found in retail stores. The standard depth for those cases
<v Speaker 3>are twenty inches, which is too small for the Ultimate ring,
<v Speaker 3>but it's possible to find some slightly bigger. I found
<v Speaker 3>a case on Facebook marketplaced a few hours for me
<v Speaker 3>that was advertised as twenty four inches deep. I made
<v Speaker 3>the two hour drive to check it out, and unfortunately
<v Speaker 3>it was only twenty two inches.
<v Speaker 1>Oh.
<v Speaker 3>I had to make a judgment call on the spot,
<v Speaker 3>but with some extra effort, I thought it could I
<v Speaker 3>could make it work. I'm no handyman, but I knew
<v Speaker 3>transforming this case would be a project. I started by
<v Speaker 3>stripping the cabinet down to its bare bones, removed the
<v Speaker 3>commercial lighting and replaced it with LEDs. I sanded down
<v Speaker 3>the case and repainted it to match my detols, purchased
<v Speaker 3>longer shelf brackets and new glass to hold other things,
<v Speaker 3>other rings, god Most importantly, I took off the doors
<v Speaker 3>and its tracks to give myself an extra inch of space,
<v Speaker 3>which is what I needed for the ultimate ring to fit.
<v Speaker 3>I finished by adding a black fabric with three millimeter
<v Speaker 3>strips to create a new background. What was going to
<v Speaker 3>be a long term project started and finished in six days,
<v Speaker 3>and I'm happy with how it turned out. The extra
<v Speaker 3>space in the case allows me to display the Jacks,
<v Speaker 3>real sounds, Arena Titan Tron, Mini BCA Ring, Awa Ring
<v Speaker 3>and the Hazmar ring. Plus it frees up quite a
<v Speaker 3>bit of space on top and inside my detols. And
<v Speaker 3>he added a second picture here that's like looking down
<v Speaker 3>on it. So I've thought about doing like a jewelry
<v Speaker 3>case a bunch of times.
