It's the Memoirs of Dick Ever Saul a fucking face idt. He's such
a producer. You know what. What's great about the Olympics are the stories,
huh you know? And he yeah, he definitely is a guy who
who for as long as he could, did the the T shirt under the
blazer, you know, as long as he could, as long as he
could. That's so I'm happy. I'm happy in particular because I've I've read
the book, and it's actually quite good. So it's nice to have a
hard copy. I have a copy. Absolutely. There we go a lot
of lessons in there. You remember that episode I came out swinging saying that
the Dick Eversoll era of SNL is actually wrongfully maligned. Yes, it said
right after I read that. Wow, good sales job. Wow, But
no, the breath of that guy's professional experience, the amount of things he
put his touch on, is just breathtaking. He is an all time legend
in television, and Vince McMahon could not have been more lucky than to have
ended up with him in eighty five on NBC. I mean, you know,
we can talk all day about how Vince had a unique genius for the
business, but without Dick Eversoll, he's a bitch. Vince in the TV

just looking at right now. He's got a lot. He's got some Linda
stories as well, apparently, Pedro Martinez stories, the guy Terry Funk threatened,
or the Red Sox Pischure and the Einhorn's business partner. You mean,
there's something called the I w a that was getting stolen in seventy that's right.
Oh Jesus, that's nice. A lot of Boston stuff in there too.
Is his late son, Teddy, who tragically passed away in a plane
crash. Was a huge Red Sox fan, and there's a there's a park
in Boston named after him. And oh wow, I did not there's a
lot of there about that Connecticut guy, Dick ever saw, Oh dude,
absolutely, Oh fuck yes, and don't want to say that. I definitely
want to see just the name hul Cogan good phul Coin. I looked looking
in the index. Terry, Yeah, Terry Blayer, just see if that
was in there. But now it's just Randy Savage is in there too.

anybody into entertainment and stuff. The guy is just coming up on another Olympic
season in Paris in twenty twenty four. NBC is doing all the all that
stuff, all of our conception of how an Olympics is covered, it's all
him. He started just researching. His His first job was just simply researching
the athletes for the TV station. Like wow, it was just this sort
of like a not and he ran with that ball and he innovated as far
as like flying out to teams that's crazy, and interest stories and sports that
weren't automatically Marquee. Wonderful book, wonderful contributor. And we wouldn't be here
in terms of talking about wrestling as big as it is if it wasn't for
him in eighty five. Yeah, I definitely agree with that statement. And
