<v Speaker 2>got done rewatching Blue Mountains, Stella, Could you tell us
<v Speaker 2>what was going on? At the beginning of this episode.
<v Speaker 1>Bluey, Bingo, Chili, and Bandit were all on a picnic
<v Speaker 1>and Bandit was laying down on the ground and Chili
<v Speaker 1>decided to start telling a story about a big sister,
<v Speaker 1>a little sister, and a fairy who were cold during
<v Speaker 1>winter and they needed to find the softest, warmest beds
<v Speaker 1>which were over the Blue Mountains, which was Bandit. And
<v Speaker 1>they were telling the story by using their hands as puppets.
<v Speaker 2>Right, so let's figure out who was who. Chili was
<v Speaker 2>the big sister and Blue was the little sister, and
<v Speaker 2>Bingo was the fairy. Yeah, they had little googly eyes
<v Speaker 2>stuck to their hands and little mouths drawn on there,
<v Speaker 2>and Bingo had some pretty epic fairy wings hooked to
<v Speaker 2>her puppet Amanda. There's something up with the big sister.
<v Speaker 2>What did they have to say about her?
<v Speaker 4>They said that the big sister never likes to have fun.
<v Speaker 4>She's always kind of uptight and worries about things, and
<v Speaker 4>she just doesn't seem to like to have fun.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I guess being responsible isn't cool.
<v Speaker 3>Tell me about it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, So they say that she is no fun, and
<v Speaker 2>they do they've got to make it over the Blue
<v Speaker 2>Mountains to find the warmest softest beds ever, And of
<v Speaker 2>course Big sisters immediately like, nah, we're not doing that.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, she didn't seem like she was very much into
<v Speaker 4>traveling over the Blue Mountain to find the warmest softest beds.
<v Speaker 2>What was the very first thing they encounter?
<v Speaker 4>They see what we realize is Bandit's tail, and they
<v Speaker 4>didn't know what it was, but the little sister seemed
<v Speaker 4>to think that it was safe and okay to run
<v Speaker 4>up to. So she takes off and Big sister is very,
<v Speaker 4>very worried that she shouldn't go near whatever this thing
<v Speaker 4>was Henry.
<v Speaker 2>As they're going on their way, what is the next
<v Speaker 2>obstacle they come up to?
<v Speaker 1>They run to band its leg and they start running
<v Speaker 1>up it, and Big Sister says that it's way too steep,
<v Speaker 1>and she has this worried look on her face. The
<v Speaker 1>whole time. Aster going up, Oh, Big Sister, and they
<v Speaker 1>stacking the mind. And then they make it to the top.
<v Speaker 2>Everybody's perspective changes once they're up there. What do they notice, Henry.
<v Speaker 1>They see lots and lots of hills and mountains and
<v Speaker 1>it looks super cool.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, the view is amazing, and the perspective shift makes
<v Speaker 2>Big Sister kind of chill out a little bit, doesn't it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it does.
<v Speaker 2>What do they do?
<v Speaker 1>They slide down bandits leg and while Big Sisters slide down,
<v Speaker 1>her face goes from a frownie face to a smiley face.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, her attitude turns right around, and now she's having fun.
<v Speaker 2>Nothing like a little danger to light up a good time,
<v Speaker 2>am I right?
<v Speaker 3>I was happy to see a smile on her face finally.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, she was feeling brave, and she was probably right.
<v Speaker 2>If they were real creatures and it was a hill
<v Speaker 2>that steep, it probably was dangerous. I thought it was
<v Speaker 2>cute how Chili just erases the mouth that she has
<v Speaker 2>on her puppet and draws a new one on whilst
<v Speaker 2>they're in the midst of things and she's having this
<v Speaker 2>good time.
<v Speaker 3>She was pretty quick to do that.
<v Speaker 2>They make it down to the bottom. Stella, what do they.
<v Speaker 1>Discover if they find a big flat area that is
<v Speaker 1>soft and squishy and they are jumping around bouncing on it.
<v Speaker 5>It's a soft and squishy welly, it is soft and squishy,
<v Speaker 5>isn't it, little sister.
<v Speaker 3>It's like we're bouncing on a massive pikelet. And what
<v Speaker 3>is a pikelet?
<v Speaker 2>It's a pancake, like a small, thin pancake.
<v Speaker 3>Oh okay, yeah, all right cool?
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, poor bandit, he's getting the business from them
<v Speaker 2>about being soft and squishy around the middle like a pikelet. Well,
<v Speaker 2>band it, I can sympathize. And maybe it's from having
<v Speaker 2>too many pancakes that I can sympathize. Stella. Sumthing's in
<v Speaker 2>their way, though, what is it?
<v Speaker 1>A big wall falls down and blocks off their path.
<v Speaker 1>But it's not really wall, it's just band its arms.
<v Speaker 2>But to the characters, it's a wall, Yeah it is.
<v Speaker 2>What do they need to do to get them to move?
<v Speaker 1>Need to scratch around and find the right spot that
<v Speaker 1>will make the wall go away.
<v Speaker 2>And I think all of us can relate to that.
<v Speaker 2>They did, and he raised up his arms because he
<v Speaker 2>was so busy laughing, and they managed to scoop past
<v Speaker 2>there and they're safe. The walls fell down behind him, though.
<v Speaker 2>It kind of made me think of maybe Andyana Jones
<v Speaker 2>or something when they just barely escaped.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, I agree, big.
<v Speaker 2>Sister is having a lot of fun. Now I'm having so.
<v Speaker 3>Much fun, Little sister. Maybe I do just need to
<v Speaker 3>relax and enjoy myself more. I wonder why I ever
<v Speaker 3>stopped in the first place.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, she is finally unwinding and enjoying herself.
<v Speaker 2>Somebody jumps out and surprises them, Amanda, who is it?
<v Speaker 4>It was a kindly fox and right away little sister
<v Speaker 4>just wasn't very sure about him, like she wasn't sure
<v Speaker 4>that they could trust him.
<v Speaker 3>The big sister was just.
<v Speaker 4>Fine with him. The kindly fox said that he could
<v Speaker 4>show them where the warmest and softest beds were. They
<v Speaker 4>would just have to come along with him.
<v Speaker 2>You could tell right away that fox was up to
<v Speaker 2>no good just by his voice.
<v Speaker 3>Oh No, he seemed totally trustworthy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, not being shifty at.
<v Speaker 3>All, No, definitely not.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and the little sister says that she thinks he's
<v Speaker 2>a cheeky fox. Yes, And right after she says that Henry,
<v Speaker 2>something happens to him what is it?
<v Speaker 1>His eye falls off and he picks it back up and
<v Speaker 1>puts it back on like nothing ever happened.
<v Speaker 2>There was something about that that, really I thought was
<v Speaker 2>a pretty funny.
<v Speaker 3>It was very funny.
<v Speaker 2>Big sister says, Okay, let's go, and the fox is
<v Speaker 2>humming and being shifty. I thought, Henry, what did you
<v Speaker 2>think about the fox?
<v Speaker 1>I don't think he's very trustworthy.
<v Speaker 2>He doesn't seem like it.
<v Speaker 3>Definitely not.
<v Speaker 2>And little sister doesn't think so either.
<v Speaker 6>I've got my eye and he missed a box.
<v Speaker 2>That sister of yours is hard work, isn't she?
<v Speaker 1>She sure is.
<v Speaker 2>I thought it was funny that big Sister agreed that, yes,
<v Speaker 2>little Sister, I e Blewie can be hard work sometimes, yes, Stella.
<v Speaker 2>What is the next thing they encounter?
<v Speaker 1>They come across a cave and they think that the
<v Speaker 1>cave is very.
<v Speaker 2>Very smelly, And what is it really?
<v Speaker 1>Bandit's mouth?
<v Speaker 2>Oh, poor Bandit. They're always giving him the business. Does
<v Speaker 2>that make you feel bad for him?
<v Speaker 1>I guess? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Interesting. So when you guys do that to me, do
<v Speaker 2>you feel bad for me at all?
<v Speaker 1>Sure?
<v Speaker 4>I don't do that to you, Okay, I did feel
<v Speaker 4>bad for bandit when they said that.
<v Speaker 2>It's funny because he keeps his mouth wide open, and
<v Speaker 2>now the suddenly talks funny. And what did he say
<v Speaker 2>about his voice? Stella?
<v Speaker 1>He says that he just sometimes talks like that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, just you know, no, bigs, don't worry about it.
<v Speaker 2>He has to bounce though, Amanda, what is he going
<v Speaker 2>to get?
<v Speaker 4>Yes, mister Fox decides that he needs to leave now
<v Speaker 4>because he has to go get some hand cream all
<v Speaker 4>of a sudden, and so he just walks off casually
<v Speaker 4>like there's nothing going on.
<v Speaker 2>Big Sister takes off running for the cave, and everybody's concerned. Amanda,
<v Speaker 2>what happens?
<v Speaker 4>As soon as she enters the cave, the cave closes
<v Speaker 4>on her, and everybody is panicked. She's yelling and yelling
<v Speaker 4>to help get her out.
<v Speaker 2>What is that? What are you gonna day?
<v Speaker 6>I'm trucks, that's no, I'm trying money, sista.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think anybody was surprised to find out that
<v Speaker 2>the Fox was indeed a cheeky fox. Now he's got
<v Speaker 2>Chili's hand, which has googly eyes stuck to it, in
<v Speaker 2>his mouth and he's licking her hand and being gross,
<v Speaker 2>and she's laughing, and I thought, yuck. I don't think
<v Speaker 2>I would do well with that if I was either
<v Speaker 2>one of them. No, I wouldn't want to be Bandit
<v Speaker 2>or Chili in that scenario, would you think, Henry?
<v Speaker 1>I thought that that was pretty disgusting.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Well, they're struggling and trying to get her free.
<v Speaker 2>How does it work out, Henry.
<v Speaker 1>Little sister in the fairy attack the cheeky fox and
<v Speaker 1>they throw him into Bandit's nose, and then he spits
<v Speaker 1>out Big Sister and sends the cheeky fox flying into
<v Speaker 1>the air.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. The cheeky Fox's legs were Bandit's fingers and they
<v Speaker 2>ended up in both barrels of his nostrils, right, yes,
<v Speaker 2>And because he couldn't breathe with those in the way,
<v Speaker 2>he ended up having to cough them out of his mouth.
<v Speaker 2>And now she's free. Little sister is relieved. Now I'm
<v Speaker 2>all sliming it's this. I'm so glad your side.
<v Speaker 6>I promiself never say.
<v Speaker 1>You boy ever again.
<v Speaker 2>Stella. While Big Sister's thinking about what happened, what does
<v Speaker 2>she say about the situation?
<v Speaker 1>She says that she was so busy trying to have
<v Speaker 1>fun that she forgot her main job, which is to
<v Speaker 1>take care of her little sister.
<v Speaker 2>Oh that's sweet. I'm glad she was having fun, though
<v Speaker 2>sometimes I think Chili is too uptight. Yes, sometimes they
<v Speaker 2>made it there in Bandit's ears and they're talking about
<v Speaker 2>the warmest, softest beds, Amanda. What other amenities did they
<v Speaker 2>find there?
<v Speaker 4>Big sister also said that there was enough wax there
<v Speaker 4>that they could make at least a hundred candles with it.
<v Speaker 2>Poor Bandit, right man, that guy here, he is just
<v Speaker 2>took his family to the park and they had a
<v Speaker 2>nice day, and now they're giving him the business again.
<v Speaker 3>Oh poor guy, Hey Bandit, it happens to all of us.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway. That was the episode, Henry. Did we forget anything?
<v Speaker 1>Nope, I don't think so.
<v Speaker 2>Well, you know what it's time for.
<v Speaker 3>Did we learn anything today?
<v Speaker 2>Could anyone tell us? What did you learn today?
<v Speaker 1>Sometimes you don't have to worry, but other times you
<v Speaker 1>do have to worry. That's what I learned today, at
<v Speaker 1>least that's what I think. Okay, Yeah, I can see
<v Speaker 1>that it's good to have fun and obviously like you
<v Speaker 1>should be having fun, but you still need to try
<v Speaker 1>to be responsible at the same time.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I think both the kids just nailed it. I
<v Speaker 4>agree with what they both have said.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think they're quite wise here, they are. The
<v Speaker 2>one thing I would add is that you don't have
<v Speaker 2>to make fun of your dad to have a good time.
<v Speaker 2>That is true, that's the lesson. But you guys are
<v Speaker 2>right really that there's a time and place for fun.
<v Speaker 2>But you can't be so irresponsible that you forget to
<v Speaker 2>stay safe or to do the right thing, and letting
<v Speaker 2>go of all your responsibilities in the name of fun
<v Speaker 2>can lead to catastrophe. For example, suddenly you're stuck in
<v Speaker 2>a big, gross cave that's actually a dog's mouth, and
<v Speaker 2>that's gross.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, nobody wants that.
<v Speaker 2>There there any other lesson in there. I was thinking,
<v Speaker 2>be wary of strangers who seem kind of shifty. And
<v Speaker 2>if they have googly eyes and one of them falls
<v Speaker 2>off and they pick it up and stick it back on,
<v Speaker 2>you should probably run just right.
<v Speaker 4>Then, definitely, Yeah, just don't even think about it. Just
<v Speaker 4>run as fast and hard as you can. Yeah, the
<v Speaker 4>opposite direction, Just keep going, that's right, Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>That's right. But really, you got to watch out for strangers, Yes,
<v Speaker 2>promising you something that seems too good to be true
<v Speaker 2>or whatever.
<v Speaker 3>Absolutely, you gotta be safe.
<v Speaker 2>Does anybody have any parting thoughts about the episode.
<v Speaker 4>There wasn't a whole lot happening in this episode like
<v Speaker 4>we normally see, but it was still a cute episode
<v Speaker 4>because we see the family all together and they're using
<v Speaker 4>their imaginations and playing, and so it made it very cute.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that is cute.
<v Speaker 1>I found the fingers up the nose part really fun.
<v Speaker 2>I don't even have to go back to the episode
<v Speaker 2>we did about this three years ago to see if
<v Speaker 2>that's what you thought about that then too, because I
<v Speaker 2>know in my heart that that's probably something that you
<v Speaker 2>commented on, which I don't blame you, because I think
<v Speaker 2>it's funny too.
<v Speaker 3>It was quite funny.
<v Speaker 1>You guys are just copying me, How dare you? Even
<v Speaker 1>though this really isn't one of my favorite episodes, I
<v Speaker 1>still like this episode and I think it's cute.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. When we were in our pre production meeting and
<v Speaker 2>we were looking at the schedule of episodes coming up,
<v Speaker 2>when I saw Blue Mountains, I'm like, because it's not
<v Speaker 2>one of my favorite Bluey episodes by any stretch. I
<v Speaker 2>will say this, though, when we watched it, I'm like, oh, Okay,
<v Speaker 2>there's a lot more in here than I originally thought. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>but it's a bottle episode. They're all in one spot.
<v Speaker 2>Nothing is happening, there's no other characters, but it does
<v Speaker 2>manage to be pretty cute given the confines on the situation.
<v Speaker 2>So good job on them for that.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I agree with that absolutely.
