3 Bigfoot Sightings in 3 Different States - My Bigfoot Sighting Episode 113

My Bigfoot Sighting

Tonight’s guest, Lorraine, is from a trout-eating tribe and has had 3, up-close experiences with Sasquatch. Her sightings happened in Southern Oregon, Upstate New York, and in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Lorraine’s first sighting happened while she was camping, with a friend, in Southern Oregon. The two of them planned to have a great time out there, but their experience wound up being anything but. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to Lorraine share the details of that experience and the other two sightings she’s had.

Hey, you there, thanks for tuning in. You're ready for another episode
of My big Foot Sighting. All right, then let's do this. Seen
a bunch of run down, no horse towns where the church at the backbone
lows and the bow and the fasting melodies coove in with the bone man rose,
with the roofs, run deep beyond the nose of the busy streets,
with the songs of the South of So then when I hear the prompt porch
picking down home rhythm bringing out I don't run from banjam music. Yeah.
If you'd like to be able to listen to the show without ads and have
full access to bonus content, that's an option. To find out how,
please go to my Bigfoot Sighting dot com. My big Foot Sightings happen in
Oregon, Upstate New York, and the Sierras. He said, I will
good morning new Lorraine Mi nanina agi Wadu Kamatadoo. My name is Lorraine,
and I'm from a trout eating tribe. I've had three very up close,
distinctive experiences in my lifetime. I first would like to tell you that my
growing up and my upbringing has always been in the woods. I was very
thankful and blessed to be able to go camping. My adopted father and my
uncles. We always went camping, always in the woods. We always had
a lot of fun, and I never really thought about anything outside than the
natural world of seeing bears and fish and you know, just the natural things
that we normally see out in the woods. My adoptive father is very conservative
Outwortzman to this day, he goes in the trails and hikes every day.
He tries to find that serenity out in the woods. And so I was
very lucky to be able to go camping, be able to be in that
woods, and it was very thankful upbringing, very thankful for being able to
be by the campfire. My uncles now they're more of the hunting type,
making big bonfires, and me being the only girl around, I usually got
to explore the woods and everything, and you know, sometimes you always feel
like something's watching you, but I've never really seen anything growing up. I
never really experienced anything strange in the woods, just the normal pine cones and
going through the streams and growing up on the creek, I got to explore
and run around with my cousins. It was really, really fun. I
never really thought about anything like I was saying, you know, anything that
was abnormal or anything. I was on the cross country team in high school
and we used to have this girl and she used to run way in front
of us. You know, she was really fast, and she was really
steady paced, and she was always ahead of us. And doing cross country
running, we got to be able to run on the roads and through the
trails. And I was up in southern Oregon, the Rope Valley which is
by Mepford and Ashland, and the beautiful, serene, beautiful mountains, lots
of evergreens and the fresh smell of the rain, and it was like a
nice fall afternoon and we're all running around and doing our cross country training with
our coaches and our team. And I was saying that this girl, she
always ran in front of us, and she was probably, you know,
a good four foot eleven, maybe a tiny girl. And she came running
back down the hill from this mountain type of road, and the look on
her face, I can never forget it to this day. And she was
stumbling upon her words and she's like, there's a there's a there's a hairy
man up there in the woods. And he was all over there by the
tree trunk, and I saw him, and she had this look on her
face like what the heck. All of us were just kind of like,
what's going on? You know? And this was the late eighties, and
back then, you know, a lot of guys were hairy, I guess,
so you could say, you know, the beards and the long hair.
My own dad, you know, he had long hair, and so
I was thinking, oh, yeah, you know, just some guy.
Probably just some guy she saw that stain up in the woods or something,
and so I never really thought about it in this area, and it was
kind of west to the school and where we ran up and everything. So
when she came running down the hill, she was really really scared. And
I never seen her like that before. I never seen somebody have that look
on her face of being so scared and from just running in the woods with
nobody around. And she described, you know, this this hairy type creature
that was a man like my pedial on two legs, and she described it
as a very hairy man. And she was very scared, and she was
very stumbled for words, and the shock on her face and everything, and
so she was kind of describing it, but she didn't really go into detail,
and so all of us went back to the school and never really thought
about it. But then our coach said, we're not running up that hill
anymore. And I was a little disappointed because it wasn't on the road and
the pavement or anything. It was cross country training. So we had other
running training on the Row River, so it was nice to go on the
Roe River, so it was a beautiful area to run on and everything,
but this particular road was just west of the school and it was really nice,
and so it was kind of disappointing that we couldn't go up the dirt
road anymore and run on And this is why I got into cross country running.
I was in track also, so it was fun. You know,
I'm not a great runner, but I did it and had fun. But
after that, our coach didn't let us run on that road anymore. So
I never really thought about this hairy creature or anything. But I would say
I was in my early twenties and it was I'm not sure the year.
It was, like ninety two, ninety three. Maybe I was having some
fun. You know, you got to have some fun when you're in you're
over twenty one. And we made some home brew and I didn't have a
home brewery, but a friend it. So we decided, hey, you
know, let's go chill out and let's go up to the mountains and let's
go drink. My drinking days, I don't drink anymore, but we decided
to say, hey, you know, let's just go up and let's just
kind of chill out in the mountain side and let's go enjoy ourselves and take
our time and drink some and then sober up and just kind of like camp
out, maybe have a fire if we can. And so we went up
with my truck and I had a camper and it was a nice little truck.
Was fun. I really enjoyed the outdoors. So I got this truck
so I can enjoy stuff like this, you know, to have the option
to be able to be able to camp out if I had to and if
not not. And it was a very fun pastime. And when you're in
your early twenties, you don't really care, you know, having responsibilities children,
just having fun and doing all that kind of stuff. And so we
got this home brewery that a friend made, and we're like, hey,
you know, let's chill with this and see how this tastes. So we
went up this mountain road and it was more of like a dirt road and
there was a rock corrry and it was not one hundred percent rural overall,
but it was up there by Jacksonville, Oregon, and it was more of
a rock quarry, more of a public type of a road and not so
real like I was saying, better enough to go out in the woods.
And so we went up this road and we parked backed the inn. It
was starting to get sunset time and getting darker and darker, and by the
time that we settled down and it was pretty dark, and so we started
to get out our beer, our home brewery I especially made, and it
felt specially you know, just kind of like, oh, yeah, we
got a home brewery. This is one of the first times that we get
to actually get to have it. And we're just kind of chilling and we're
just getting ready to I guess pop the top as they call it, to
the beer, and all of a sudden we heard this, and I was
like, what the heck. And growing up, you know, you hear
bears and you hear coyotes, maybe and other things, and it's like,
this is no bear. This is not a sound of I've ever heard of
in my lifetime. I've never heard of this kind of noise before. And
it was a very distinct noise, and I could still hear it echoing through
my head to this day, I could still hear that noise. I could
still hear that growl. And then all of a sudden, you know,
I was looking at the sight of maybe you know, the if a bear
was standing up or or was around. I was looking at that length within
the tree lines, and all of a sudden, I looked up and I
kept looking up, and I kept looking up. And I'm five foot five,
so I'm around that hype, and so I kept this. I just
kept looking up, and I saw this black figure coming out of the woods,
and it was taller than some of the trees, and it was probably
around night foot tall, and it was coming out and I heard this noise
and I just kept hearing it, and before I knew it, I was
like, oh, heck no, and me and my friend we looked at
each other, and really, to this day, I don't remember if we
grabbed that beer or not. It was sitting there and we're sitting on the
back of the tailgate of the car and it was on the ground and so
I'm not sure if we left it or not, but we left the tailgate
open and we jumped in front of the car I was driving, and distinctly
this figure that would stood, you know, around eight night foot tall,
with dark, dark hair, and just it was just after sunset, so
you know, this figure was standing there, and before I knew it,
you know, we're inside the truck and we just got in and just completely
like, let's get out of here. Let's go down the road, Let's
get out of here. This whatever this thing is, We're not going to
stay here for this, especially how it was growling at us. And so
when we got into the car, I looked in the mirrors and I could
see it, and it seemed like there was two of them behind us,
and we just took off. Like I said, we left the tailgate open,
and I was so scared that it was going to jump on us or
whatever it was, and I distinctly remember it being so tall and the growl
and the noise, and then seeing these two figures, and when we rushed
down the mountain, it was it was a very curvy, rural type Evergreen
road, and so we saw these two figures cross and chasing us, and
I was going faster and faster, but I don't want to go too fast,
and I kept looking in the mirror, and my friend was looking in
the mirror and turning around and looking, and we were so scared and so
frightened. And this thing, whatever it was, and this other figure,
because I distinctly saw the first figure, but when we got into the car,
there was two of them behind us, and so there were criss crossing
and chasing us down the hill. And when we finally got to the bottom
of the mountain road, my tailgate was so open, and I didn't want
to lose everything that was the back to my car, and I was really
scared to get out, but I felt like they weren't there anymore. And
we're at the main highway road. This is hereover and right outside of Applicate
Organ up Barock Quarry, and it's right before you begin to Applicate Lake and
right outside of Jacksonville Organ. So it was in between. So when we
got to the main highway in the pavement, I don't know, I felt
a little bit more comfort like they weren't chasing us, or they weren't bothering
us anymore, maybe because there was of the cars passing by, and I
felt a little bit more safer than the rural road and with the evergreens and
everything. And so I got out of the car to shut my gate,
and I saw this symbol that was written on the side of my camper so
and it was like kind of like the paragraph symbol, and it was distinctly
from the dust on the truck and on the camper and on the windows,
and it was distinctly written on there. And I saw that symbol, and
I was like, well, that's very odd. And back then, you
didn't have cameras like we do nowadays, and we don't have cell phones like
we do, and so I couldn't really take a picture of this. Plus,
you know, I wanted to get out of there. I just wanted
to shut my gate. And I think that my friend and I were just
completely speechless, just completely speechless, very speechless. I felt very scared,
and I didn't really want to go back up that way ever again. And
to give you an idea about this area, it's outside of Jacksonville, Oregon,
in southern Oregon, and you know there's stories about this area, but
I had to tell you that. About a week later after this incident,
I went to down the road from where I lived to now my best friend's
house, and him and I were chilling. Back then, I used to
drink and we used to party. I mean, we had no responsibility,
so it was kind of a fun time of life and care free, having
lots of time. And I met his friend and I was discussing this experience
that I had. I was by myself, I was not with my friend
that experienced this with me. So I was telling them about this experience of
saying, hey, you know, I had this experience a week ago.
This is what happened as I described, And his friend said, hey,
I had a similar experience around the same time, about a week ago,
but in a different location. And I was like what, And he described
that we actually call him Yeti. His nickname is Yeti, and I think
he is going to change his legal name to Yeti, and we call him
Yeti to this day because of his experience. And now this is very odd
because this happened around the same time that my experience happened, and it was
by pilot Rock, which is over by Ashland Organ which is not too far
from where mine was. So I'll take a little bit into what happened to
him because it pretty much ties into almost the same thing that happened to me.
He was hiking around in the woods around Pilot Rock, which is a
very distinctive area and also has a past history of similar experiences. He was
hiking around and he came upon a fire, and he went over by there
and he's like, oh, you know, some people were having a fire,
and there was three of these bigfoot sasquatch like I don't want to say
people, but there was these three sasquatches, harry bipedial eight foot ninth foot
maybe figures, sitting by a campfire. And he stumbled and was kind of
surprised at this experience of these three very distinct Harry men. He described as
he can kind of smell this messy smell, and they were shocked as much
as he was upon stumbling upon each other. Now, my friend Yetti likes
to go explore the woods and everything, like some of us all do growing
up in the woods and everything. And he was by himself, and he
had this very old car and it was pretty cool full timer car. But
when he went up to the woods and was exploring and came upon these three
distinctive bigfoot figures harry min type bipedial, sitting around a campfire of all things,
and both of them shocked to see each other. He said that they
started to chase them. So he got into this old car and he started
going down the mountain too, and he said that they chased them all the
way to town, because town is not too far from Ashland, Oregon,
is not too far from Pilot Rock, and I believe the road is Green
Springs. And so he went down this road and he was being chased the
same way that I was. And he said he got to town and he
felt safe because he was within a gas station and everything, and he saw
a symbol on his car. Now we're sitting there at my friend's house and
he was telling me the story, and I was stumbled and I was like,
well, what kind of simple, what kind of simple? What was
it? I was stumbling around and show shocked because I was already, you
know, in misbelief that my experience. However, he had around the same
time he had his experience, So I was really stumbling for words and reality
and couldn't believe that somebody else was telling me that story when he didn't even
really know my story too. We're connecting our stories together at the same time.
And the symbol that he was talking about, I said, can you
draw it? Can you draw it? Can you remember it? And you
know, it was fresh in my mind, the symbol. You know,
to this day, I can kind of remember the symbol, but you know,
not exactly like I did back then. This is thirty something years ago.
So I was stumbled upon his story and the same experience that he did.
So we're both connecting, and we're like, wait a minute, wait
a minute, can you tell me your experience too, please? And it
was very, very similar to mine. His was a little bit different and
a little bit more paranormal than mine because his was a further chase with these
three hairy sasquatch, bigfoot, bipedial man looking creatures and the symbol that he
was showing me and my symbol, and I was like, no way.
And so we connected and then, having no responsibilities back then, we said,
hey, let's we called it bigfoot hunting back then, but I like
to use the word a big foot exploring more or less, and back in
the nineties, it wasn't such a big thing as it is nowadays. How
they have all these TV shows and people out there. There's different mixed feelings
about people doing the hunting, and some people want to capture these things.
But we wanted to explore all these areas and we wanted to go camping in
the woods. And so we gathered a group of people and some of my
cousins were involved, and some friends, and you know, some of us
had to work and some of us didn't, so we had a mixture of
people. And so what we did was go out and these areas, Let's
see if we can find bigfoot prints. Let's do some more research on this.
And there wasn't really a lot of stuff out there. And this is
also not too far from the Patterson filming sidings in northern California. We're just
a little hopover from there. And doing some research, I found out there's
this structure called a biokfoot trap over by the applicate area, and it's a
trap designed to catch bigfoot, and I believe that it is one of the
only structures that was built. The Bigfoot Chap is located in the road River
Siski area, maybe five miles from the siting that I had up in the
rock quarry with the distinctive. So learning about this bigfoot trap, I did
a little bit more research, and we didn't have Google like they do nowadays
in the Internet as such. But in the eighteen fifties there was some sightings
by some miners and the same area where I had my experience. They had
built this structure to catch a bigfoot, to catch this creature that these miners
saw. But the only thing that they really caught that I know of,
is like maybe a couple of hungry bears. And as we know in nature
that nobody really finds the carcass of a bear, and we know they exist.
We have these different animals and wildlife in the area, and so sometimes
we really don't know what's out there out in the woods. But when you
come across and you come across other people that have the same experience as you,
and that strange symbol on our windows, that was what got us and
what hooked us to say, hey, there's something out there. So what
we did for I would say a good three years. I used to hang
out with the guys. I'm one of part of the guy team, and
there was really no girls that would Really I've always been that way growing up.
I was not in the house doing anything with like cooking and cleaning.
I used to play with dolls and stuff. Yeah, but my barbies and
sewing and maybe a little bit of cooking here and there. But I really
was into being in the outside on the creeks, and I grew up on
the creek there in Ashland and Bear Creek, and so I was always the
one that was running around with the boys, and I would always keep my
cousins behind me because I'd fall or I couldn't jump the ravines or stuff like
that. But we decided, you know, hey, let's go explore.
And so I did a lot of exploring and big foot hunting as we called
it. And so there's a few things that maybe some people found. So
our little team sometimes we had a team of five or six, but we'd
go out in the woods for a week at a time, and we didn't
think anything about it, just go and exploring. And there's a few times
that my team had that I wasn't around, that felt the presence of these
creatures around. And one time they went to their camp and was breathing over
them. So it was a fun experience. And I believe some of my
friends now I do not live in southern Oregon anymore, but I believe they
still go out in the woods and explore. And my friend Yettie, he's
still a very dear friend. And like I was saying, I think he's
actually changing his legal name to Yedti. So I think it's overrated nowadays that
all these shows are trying to find this creature and everything, and being Native
American, I'm now to this day hearing stories about different things. And after
I left Southern Oregon, I went to stay in upstate New York. It
was my family and we lived on a huge property. We had beautiful little
cabin in the woods down below our house. And I was exploring the area
one day and I never even you know, this is right after my bigfoot
exploring and adventures, and so I wasn't really even thinking about these creatures.
Really. I was taking over there in my old stomping grounds and my old
woods and everything. And so I used to smoke cigarettes, and my dad
that he was bury against smoking, so I didn't want to get caught,
so I would go down by the marsh area and go smoke a cigarette by
the cabin and kind of looking inside the little cabin. It wasn't ours,
but it was somebody else's and I didn't have a key to it. I
always wanted to go inside there, and I was just kind of exploring one
day and smoking my cigarette, sneaking away. Even though I was an adult,
I didn't want to smoke in front of my dad and he would just
freak out. He would freak out to this day, you know, about
smoking. So I just kind of wanted to sneak away, and I would
sneak down there a couple of times, and one day I saw something in
the marsh. And the marsh is probably a good five foot deep of water
and rush and deep woods, and so I saw something move and when I
moved, it moved, and then I was like, what is that?
You know, I was thinking, this thing, whatever it might be,
is standing in chest deep to me water and it's way taller, hiding behind
the tree. And then when I moved to the area, it would move
to the next tree and stand there. And I kept looking and put my
cigarette out, and I was like, what is that? What is that?
And so next thing I know, I saw this crescent type head and
it was standing probably ane foot Paul also, and I can kind of hear
it within the water, and it was standing inside the marsh area, like
I was saying. And I was up on the top of the hill a
little bit by the cabin, and it wasn't so mushy and marshy, and
I wasn't really used to this type of territory in upstate New York, and
I was new to the area and very cold up there. But it was
a pleasant day. It wasn't anything abnormal or anything was a snowing or anything.
It was just it was just a normal day, okay weather. And
so I was moving and every time I move a little bit more, it
would move and I could see its eyes. It was this hairy eight foot
type bipedial creature and it was probably a juvenile, I would say. And
I say this because of the research that I did or just the hearing of
these things, and after having my experience in southern Oregon and then here I'm
in upstate New York in a wooded area that I'm not used to and actually
seeing something in the daylight in the daytime. What the heck, is this
is it what I think it is? Is it? Is it an actual
bigfoot sasquatch type creature in this wooded area? And so it wasn't really scared.
It seemed like it was very curious to what I was doing. And
I was curious to see what it was doing because every time I moved,
it would move, and it gave me a male type of vibe. And
it wasn't so big as some of these, maybe it was more of a
juvenile type. It was very curious to what I was doing, and living
in this rural area and new to this area, and having been newly exposed
and to this type of environment, I felt like it knew who I was
because we had very open windows in the house that I lived in, and
we lived on the hillside and this was below our house and in the March
area. So I never really thought about it, and I only lived there
in the upstate Europe for a little bit. I came to the Sierra area
to move and it was another type of environment, which kind of phases me
into my most recent experience that I had. Now, I've had three very
distinctive experiences in three different locations, and I never really connected them together as
being the same area, the same creatures, the same type of experience.
However, when I moved to the Sierras, I was part of the NAGPRA
process, which is Native American Grace Protection Act, and I was involved with
these bones and things that were found in the Lovelock area, and come to
find out, they now call them the green hair giants. We were contacted
as a tribe and I was working part of this process in ninety seven about
these bones, and there was DNA and other things conducted, and we were
really digging our heels and our hands into this project because these bones were found
in the Lovelock Caves and some things came about with the museum and then part
of the Native American Graves Protection and all that stuff. So what we did
was find interest to this We as a tribe and other tribes came in to
play with the federal government and the state of Nevada and stuff like that with
these bones, and we said, hey, wait a minute. You know,
they were found with baskets and other stuff that might hold us as a
graves protection and it's stuff like that that legally we got into. And we
were told that no no, no, no, these aren't part of your
guys as DNA, and these aren't part of your tribe. And that's completely
a whole different story and things to tell about the green haired giants. For
us in the Northern Paiute, they are creatures that would eat and still our
children and elders and women, and there are creatures that were not good.
To believe in our culture that there is these three different type of bigfoot creatures.
One is the cannibalistic, barbaric type of creatures that roam this area.
And like I was saying, this could be a whole experience and discussion in
itself. Due to the Native American grace protection and everything. These bones that
we found with the green haired giants were sent to Humble County, Winnemaca,
Nevada, and for a while they had these on display. However, the
museum has not have them on display. And coming from a museum family,
I understand the whole logistics of protection and everything, but I believe to this
day that the Humble County still has these bones that they'd say that we're't affiliated
with this Northern Payu, so the logistics on it and everything, they don't
have the display anymore, and now they are having such things that are happening
that they are protecting the area. And like I was saying, there's a
whole discussion on these red hair giants, and there's mixed reviews on some of
this stuff. And Sarah Wuinnamacca actually discussed it in her book Life of the
Piutes. She had a piece of their hair on her dress. And there
is so many folklores and discussion on that on these red hair giants. So
these red hair giants, we do have a Piote word for them. And
as I was saying, we have three different types of bigfoots in our legend.
And I dug really deep into discussion on these different types of bigfoots,
especially after my experience, after my experience and of State New York and being
part of the process of these bones that are found and the whole logistics.
And so I went into anthropology and I studied anthropology and pursuing my degree in
anthropology, and my anthropology teacher really probably had an enjoyment of discussing of the
red haired giants and doing a lot of research and talking to some of our
elders and our medicine people, even up to not too long ago. We
have three different types of bigfoots that we believe in, so doing extensive research
that is out there that is not just hearsay or other things, but the
oral history that is very very important because our people didn't speak English for one
thing, and we do have songs of these creatures, these bipedal human like
creatures, and three very distinctive type of ones. Ones that are very friendly,
helpful, ones that are very barbaric and human eating, and another one
that are They're more of the type that more people are seeing that you hear
of the stories in different regions and mainly this area that I'm talking about is
the Sierras Nevada, organ Idaho. There's many trails that we talk of.
There's many different oral histories of this and those things need to be told and
be spoken of because we have a very strong oral history and a lot of
people don't want to talk about this stuff, and I'd like to come forward
because our time as our human bodies and such as very short. So I
think that a lot of times that we need to talk about these things.
Some people don't like too, some people do. And hearing from our elders
and our medicine people. And now that I'm being considered an elder nowadays.
My father is long past and now we laugh around and stuff about it because
we're the elders. Now, we're the ones that have to tell the stories.
We carry the stories on from our elders, from our people. They're
gone now. So it's important to say, you know, these facts and
stuff that we have, thousands of thousands of zeero old songs about these creatures
that we've seen, and how they go up in the mountains and how they
walk, and how they are and how they smell, and some of these
type of ceremonies that we have. And I'll touch base a little bit about
that, because I think it's important a person that I know that I'm very
close to my children's father. He is fulled like Payu speaks his language.
I'm learning the language of Payu. However, he told me one time when
he came back from a ceremony. Now it's the form because our ceremonies used
to be even after I was born, they were not allowed. However,
through the Indian Religious Freedom Act, we can now practice our drumming, our
ceremonies, our church and everything else. Our religion. Well, they had
a ceremony and I heard about when he came back from meeting from a ceremony.
He said that this creature came in out of nowhere, came in to
the teepee, sat down, He smelt really, really horrible, and he
was covered in hair, and he sat down. There was some ceremonial things
that are sacred conducted, and then he just took off and left, and
everybody just kind of sat there in disbelief and didn't know what was going on.
But I think it's important to know that there's other people that witnessed these
creatures and coming back two thousands of years of oral history and keep passing it
down. And I pass it down to my grandchildren and hopefully some day they'll
pass it down to their grandchildren and great grandchildren. And there's nothing really to
be afraid of with these creatures. There's different mixed reviews on what they are,
who they are. Some people say they're connected. I was telling my
story to this guy, and he's a conspiracy art offer, Jim Keith.
He died back in nineteen ninety nine from an injury. But we were discussing
how you know there's these big foots and UFOs and the connection between these two
and some people believe in some people don't, And just like bigfoot. You
know, I was never really into this bigfoot thing until I had that experience
back in southern Oregon we at the Raw Cory. I never really even thought
about it really. I mean, I've heard about that girl across country,
and so I was just thinking, back, Okay, let's write a book.
And unfortunately he was injured, and there's a whole there's so many discussions
that can be told and taught. But Jim Keith, he was a conspiracy
author, and me and him actually discussed of writing a book together about these
bigfoot and different experiences and gathering some of this stuff together. And this is
before I became more of a ceremonial type of person and my drinking days and
partying around, and so I never really took it serious bigfoot thing in UFOs
connection. And you know, everybody has their own opinion and their own experiences,
and some people think that we're just talking out of whatever, out of
thin air. But when you think back and you think about these oral histories
that are thousands of years old and having petroglyphs and oral history and songs that
are made and eyewitnesses. You really have to think, what is this,
what can we go through in life? And how can we tell our story?
And that's why I wanted to tell you of some of these experiences that
I personally have been through or have eyewitnessed, and especially when it comes down
to having Native American Grace Protection Acts in place and having them contact the tribes
when they find these bones and these things like the red hair giants and them
telling us though that's not part of your tribe, You guys don't have an
interest in it, but we do because it's part of our oral history of
how this came about, these red hair giants. And I think it's important
because my latest experience, which was during the pandemic, it was very quiet
and nobody was driving around, and there was nobody around, and I got
to explore a lot of stuck because of medical reasons, I got to leave
the house and everybody was on the lockdown and so there was really no traffic
in the Sierra area. I was up in the mountains and I seen something
way up on the hill and it was way bigger than a human walking.
Because of human walking, you can barely see them. With my naked eye,
I could see something in the mountains in it. It was looking around
like it was curious, where's everybody. This is around an area where normally
it would be pretty crowded with people around, but because of the pandemic,
there was really nobody around and except for us being a couple other people.
And so I got my binoculars out and got to zoom in and trying to
figure it out. And it had the typical gate walk with the long arms
and the hairy body, and it was like a brownish color mixed with the
Sierra mountain side of not really evergreen type, but more of a sagebrush type.
And it was walking in the typical gant like the big boom boom,
like a big steps, like five to my one, I mean one to
my five, one step to my five steps, or even more my steps,
I would say. And it went across the rim of the mountain side.
It wasn't running or anything. It was just walking. However, for
me to walk like that, that would take me half the time. And
it was looking around, like where's everybody, What's going on? It was
very quiet, and this is the beginning of the pandemic when everybody was on
lockdown and nobody was really allowed to run around like we usually normally do.
Nowadays, it's so busy, and so this this creature and zooming in as
far as I can see with my binoculars. My binoculars aren't you know,
the high power or anything. It's just binocular is a typical pair. And
I told my partner said, hey, hey, you know, look up
there, and they're like, oh, yeah, yeah, that's that's normal.
Said to them it was normal. They're Native American and they were also
like, oh yeah, you know, like oh that's Harry, you know,
or something like that, you know. And to me, I was
like, oh wha. You know, I've never seen running around this area.
And I heard about the trails that they have, and so this was
very recently my last experience that I personally had, and I've had my three
very distinct, very different location experiences that I've seen myself by one in southern
Oregon, my one in upstate New York, and now here in this Europe
area which they have a trail and this is part of the trail that I
heard of before doing some of my research hearing and most of my research is
hands on ground research and talking to different people or just hearing stories, you
know, just kind of the the upbringing of this. And to this day,
I still hear these stories. A lot of people say they're along the
Chucky River or they have their own experience, we're seeing things. And you
take and gather all these people's stories and folklore, and some of them are
orals, some of them are recent, some of them are thousands of years
old. So it's good to gather all this stuff and look at it as
a whole holistic approach, like what are these how come so many people are
saying they don't exist? And are their paranormal type? Do they have portals?
Are they the type like a chameleon type? You know, they blend
into the environment, and so we just don't know. And I think that
people really like to either. I think you're completely crazy for saying the stories.
But you know, when you gather all your thing up and you take
these thousands of year old stories and these songs that we have and talking about
how we have three different in our own folklore tribe, the flesh human eating
type ones to the helpful friendly type. And I think that most of us
that are Northern Piu. We respect their being or whatever they are if those
who have came across them, because we respect their families. They have families
and they have their groups together. So growing up in the woods myself and
never really think of them, maybe they were around, who knows, maybe
they did protect me or other kids. But when you come face to face
with one and you hear that distinct growl that can never lose out of your
existence of hearing that, you think, hey, that's my first experience of
hearing that sound first, and then that shadow figure coming out of the woods,
and then they're standing in front of you, and you just don't even
think. You just jump into your vehicle and book out of there and go
down that mountain. And then you see that symbol and you think, what
is this? And then you come across another human that says, yeah,
I had the same kind of experience, and then you start exploring and getting
curious about it. And this is before all these bigfoot shows and all these
things that are coming out about nowadays. And you know, we never really
thought about a show or anything. It was in the early nineties. So
I think that just sustinctly this experiences that I've had myself. I believe I'm
a believer, and not because I heard about this, because I experienced it
myself, and I've heard these stories from the eldest. I've heard these stories
from the medicine people. And so you just you just move forward and you
just think positive and you educate people on it. And now there's so much
stuff out there that that you you just laugh and you just giggle because you
see these bigfoot stickers on people's cars, and you hear about these stories that
other people have, and you hear like finding Bigfoot. I'm not sure if
you can legally say that, but the Bigfoot Show, I can say,
I guess natives also talking about their experience in like Shasta area and the other
area. And my friend that Yetti that had his experience of pilot Rock,
and we have so many folklore stories of pilot Rock alone, of the natives
there of having some kind of experiences and gathering stuff. And when you connect
all these dots and the other people have no connection with the other people,
but they had the same experiences. It's delightful to hear and educate people.
And we don't need this hard evidence of bodies and experimentation and all this stuff.
We don't need that. And there was a thing that happened on a
reservation that something was eating big holes out of horses and cows, and I
was pregnant at the time, and so we had curfew. Everybody had to
be on lockdown and curfew. This is twenty three years ago, and they
had some people out there. I'm not sure what agency they belonged to,
but they're seeing what was doing these animals, and the chairman of the tribe
action, they took these kids out to look for a prince because it's part
of our history, it's part of our folklore, it's part of our existence
of either getting along or not getting along with these creatures. Because as I
was saying, we have the three distinctive of these that we believe in,
and so there's so many trails and things that you were told to stay away
from because at certain times, because they are migrant type of creatures. And
this experience twenty two twenty three years ago with being on lockdown because something was
eating holes out of these animals and where totally can't go up after night,
and then having to I personally was like, oh, let's go see by
the river with the creek, let's go see if we can find prints.
And when you're out there exploring and you want to look for something like that
kind of turn around and you're like, what if I did see something?
You know, you get scared kind of because you don't know what kind of
thing you're going to come across. It's kind of an unknown, especially when
you're getting chased by them at first and you don't know what it is.
And then after that doing your research and they're finding out that there are different
kinds of these creatures. And if you look on the Bigfoot map of sightings,
there's this one little spot that's right there on I eighty and I heard
stories about that area that some people have actually spotted something in there, And
you know, I don't know about these spottings and everything that people put on
these maps, so called maps that they have out there. Nowadays, now
that the internet's more available, there is a lot more exploring and a lot
more people are coming out about their experience and there's so much more to explore
and to hear other people's stories about this very real type of creature. And
that's my Bigfoot sightings. Well, that's it. For tonight show. If
you've had a big Foot siding and would like to be a guest, please
go to my Bigfoot Sighting dot com and let us know. Thanks for listening,
Have a great night. Seen a bunch of run down no horse towns
where the church is the backbone, loves and the bow and the fasting melodies
coove in but the bomb Man Rose where the roofs run deep beyond the nose
of the busy streets with the songs of the South O Su then I mean
I hate the promp poch picking down home rhythm bringing out I Don't Run from
Banjung music. Yeah, the sound of a memory brings me back to the
bluegrass playing the Madadi jack. It's become man, it been through getting through
